Cry Out (9am) - 5.25.2025 (Elder John Swain Jr.)

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International

some tea, and get ready to receive.

It's go time. Let's get into it all.

Made full of blood. Hey, man, we can take a seat

there. You can.

You can grab a seat. I know it was the blood.

I know it was the blood for me. One day when I was lost, he died

up on the cross. I know it was the blood for me.

There's a fountain filled with blood that flows from Emmanuel's

veins, and when centers plunge beneath the flow, they lose all

their guilty stains. You know, it was the blood.

One of the things you have to understand about the blood, get

some time to set up here, is that the blood had to be

curated. You know what curation means?

I'm trying to be all millennial now.

I say I want to reach everybody. OK, Curated.

The blood the good Jesus poured out for you was vintage.

What you mean by vintage? You see, the reason the blood

works is because he lived a life fighting for its purity.

From the day he was born into the day He poured out his blood,

He fought to stand against sin, fought to stand against the

flesh so that when he came time for his blood to be pure, be

poured out, it would be pure. It would be sinless.

Jesus curated that blood for 33 years, apparently when he, when

he passed on. So it wasn't just, it was just

in him. The blood that saved us, the

blood that cleansed us is something he had to

intentionally watch over and keep and care for for more than

30 years. Always thinking first and

foremost about the blood. Should I go here?

What's he going to do for the blood?

No, I can't go there. Should I give it to despair?

What's that going to do for the blood?

They got to be poured out. Can't give in to despair.

The blood is so much more than just like, you show up and you

get like, you know, an accessory to your hamburger or something.

It's not like ketchup, you know what I'm saying?

It's not like, yeah, can I get some ketchup with that?

Oh, it's great. I got ketchup.

No, this is something he was thinking about always.

Every day, every second of every day deemed the blood is

precious. Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen.

That's where they have a hand clap.

I'm with you or not trying to work out a few a few technical

things on our end, my end in terms of presentation today.

So just bear with me. But we're working and God is

doing what's up, Mark. How you doing?

What we singing? Mark, What we singing?

Hallelujah, Amen. That's a good song, Mark

Pastors, thank you for an opportunity to share once again

the word of God. I really appreciate that you all

set really appreciate that you give me continue to give me the

opportunity. You know the great.

Why am I so grateful? Why do I say thank you?

Because they see me up and they see me down and he's still

giving me opportunities. They see my doubts, they see my

fears. They see my sometimes feeling

like, man, I don't know if I can do this.

And they say, man, we believe in you.

And they keep giving me opportunities.

I'm grateful that they continue to challenge me and move me

toward the promise God has for me because they understand that

though they challenge me and sometimes I may push and resist,

it is better to experience that difficulty here than they get

before my Savior. And he look upon me and say,

John, why? They know that that struggle

here is worth it to get before the Savior and said I've done

all. Why?

Because I had pastors that pushed me and encouraged me and

kept giving me opportunity. So I'd never take the

opportunity for granted. Thank you for this opportunity

to share the word of God today. Cry out.

Pastors are talking about cry out.

So I want to pick up on that theme cry out.

Everyone say cry out, but I want to have it a little bit of a

little different take right? Cry out in prayer.

I'll do a prayer focus. The one thing, if you ever know

about me here, you know, my wife and I helped to lead the direct

the Gap prayer ministry. One thing if you ever know about

us, there's going to be some prayer pop up someplace.

Anything I'm talking about probably, right.

And so when I look at this, I look at it from a context of

prayer. And that's the part I think I

can add a little differently to the mix.

Help us continue to grow. So cry out in prayer.

OK, I want to paraphrase an old sermon by a great man.

He said there's a cry of the soul.

There's a place where your soul cries out for something.

And in crying out, earth and heaven are destined to respond.

Is that when you have a cry of your soul for something, nothing

can stop it. Too often what we do is we ask,

we request and we cry too little.

See, to have a cry of your soul means you have to be focused.

You have to, you have to be singularly focused on one thing,

one space, 1 area, and you have to have it.

Your life so poured into it that literally your very life's

breath is connected to your cry and God's response to it.

The cry of the soul. Heaven always answers.

God structured it that way. And the challenge for us is that

sometimes a city dwellers, we got too much stuff get in the

way to keep our souls from crying.

We got convenience, we got complacency.

We got the ability to do things that we think God doesn't do for

us. You think you breathe and God

don't do it for you. You think you eat and God

doesn't do it for you. You think you dress and God

doesn't do it for you. We have so many of these graces

and so many of these tender mercies that got us activated in

our life, OK, that we think we don't depend on God, which means

we don't necessarily cry out a cry of the soul.

Heaven always responds. And I think there's times where

you need to cry. This time you need to cry out.

You're not going to hurt the burger thing.

Monzo something. I'm going to burger mine right

now, right? So, so, so if I'm at Monzo's and

I want ketchup for my fries, I don't need to cry out for

ketchup on my fries. I'll get arrested probably.

OK, I'm in Monzo. I'm like, oh, Monzo, man, please

give me some ketchup for my fries.

You know, that's like, dude, you're doing too much.

Just say excuse me, ketchup, please.

That's that's good. That's A cause a prayer, right?

So what I'm just trying to share with you, there's different

levels of prayer and crying out is something specific.

You don't always have to do that, may not always be called

for, but when it is called for then you need to enter into that

place. There are certain things that

only crying out will access that other kinds of prayer will not.

So let's one establish that the cry of the soul.

Philippians 4 verse 6 says this. Y'all ready to receive today.

Philippians 4:6

Philippians 4 verse 6. I Philip Philippians, be careful

Philippians 4:6

for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with

Thanksgiving. Let your requests be made known

unto God. Be careful for nothing, be

anxious for nothing. When anxiety is coming on you,

go to prayer. And when the anxiety is coming

on you so great that there's a a need for a great response, go to

prayer and supplication. In particular, everyone says

supplication with Thanksgiving. So there's an attitude about

this kind of prayer. There's an attitude about this

approach that you already got an idea, it's already done.

That's why you have Thanksgiving with it.

A crying out prayer as you can kind of connect really quickly.

It's kind of a supplication. A crying out prayer is never a

prayer that's in doubt. It's never a prayer that we

don't know. It's never a prayer like oh God,

we not sure what's going to happen.

Do something crying out is like. Oh God, we know what you're

going to do, so do it. You got it.

And then it says, and This is why.

And the peace of God which passes passeth as King James.

All understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through

Christ Jesus. Cry out and peace comes.

Cry out and you become established.

Cry out and you're kept. There is a place.

Now this is important because the response the this type of

prayer or the call for this cup of prayer is anxiety, tension,

stress. When you see the earth shaking,

when you see your world crumbling, it's not just like,

oh, what kind of shirt should I wear?

I'm not sure I want to look good.

I don't know if it's going to look good on me.

So I'm gonna cry out. No, come on.

OK. Do we talk about anxiety of

soul? And for some people, they are

gripped with that anxiety, trying to get out of the bed in

the morning for whatever reason. OK, so it didn't have to be a

global event anxiety, but something with and the fear and

anxiety that's shaking your world.

We're trying to give you the idea of the depth of what a

crowd's called to respond to. OK.

Supplication is the prayer of crying out.

So when you read in the Bible the word supplication, that is

by definition a crying out. Now in some places you'll see

prayer and supplication. Why do you see it together?

It's like we saw in Philippians. Why?

Because you can pray without supplicating.

As I said, Father, we ask you do this for us.

That's prayer without supplication.

But there's a place of praying when you ask supplication to it,

that it's a crying out kind of praying.

It is a pouring out your soul kind of praying.

It's a pouring out your heart kind of praying.

And it doesn't always have to be loud.

It's not always about volume, but it is about visceralness.

What is visceralness? From my guts, from my inward.

Being. You don't have to be loud to cry

out, although volume can be helpful.

Why is volume helpful at times in crying out?

Because volume focuses you. OK, we're going to do a test.

Everyone say test. So I want you to do this.

I want you just say just begin to thank God.

Prayers of Thanksgiving, just begin to thank God and let your

mind begin to roam around or think about something else.

OK, Thank you, Lord, for what you're doing in my life.

Like I'm I'm saying thank you, Lord, what you're doing in my

life. And I'm thinking about lunch at

the same time, right? God, thank you for how thank you

that we got here. And I'm looking at the cars.

You see how thank you. You can pray like that and be

that tone and be distracted. OK, Now I want you to cry out

thank you and try to be distracted again.

Thank you, God, for what you're doing in my life.

Thank you God for how you're causing me to live.

God, I can't think about nothing else.

There's a place of crying out that automatically focuses you

because it takes your entire being to do it.

You see what I'm saying? That's the power of crying out.

It brings that focus. That's the power of volume at

times, not crying out. That's the power of volume at

times. It brings you to a place of

focus. Right now you can cry out

quietly as well, but the characteristic that's common is

that you have the same focus as if you were raising your voice

right, The prayer of a Father as your child is going off to fight

a war. In that moment, the father may

cry out God, this is my child. You're going to be with him.

I know I can't be there. I need you, God, to protect him.

And God, you will bring him back home.

You will bring her back home safely.

It's not necessarily loud, but there's a focus that's there, a

freedom from distraction. That's the characteristic of the

cry out supplication is the prayer of crying out

supplication from a noun. The action of asking or praying

or imploring for something earnestly or humbly beseeching

is another phrase. He, for example, he fell to his

knees in supplication. First Kings 8 says this yet

graciously consider I got a couple slides with some verses.

So just let me work that first and then when we get to the end,

I'll kill you. First Kings 828 says this yet

graciously consider the prayer and supplication of your

servant. This is Solomon dedicating the

temple. David had gathered the

resources, but God said you will not build it.

It's for your son to do. Solomon had built this temple. 2

generational promise, two, I'm leave it there, 2 generational

promise. And they built this temple and

now they're now they're consecrating it.

They're, they're, they're, they're praying over the purpose

of the temple, yet graciously consider the prayer and

supplication of your servant, O Lord my God, to hearken to the

loud cry and prayer which he prays before you today.

So this prayer is not just a prayer.

You can see it's a supplication. He's saying, I am supplicating

before the Lord. Now when he's doing this, he has

Israel here and he has God here, right?

It's a gathering of all the people that are there.

He says, Israel, God has blessed us, we got things together.

And then he turns to the Lord and begins to supplicate to cry

out on behalf of Israel towards their God.

OK that the that your eyes may be open towards this house night

and day toward the place of which you have said my name and

the token of my presence shall be there that you may hearken to

the prayer which your servants shall make or in or facing

towards this place. He is supplicates crying out to

God. God, I'm about to come before

you in a way and I'm crying out that what we pray today you will

hear and you will answer and you will establish something catch

it about this church place. Well, temple will say church you

saying God, I want something to be about this place that changes

people's lives. And he's talking about not just

him, but nations and talks about generations.

Supplication cries out reverence and the fear of God.

So supplication always has a sense of reverence.

He's already you've already seen that in those verses we just

read, right. Solomon is understands that he's

building a temple that his David, his father had to had to

dream of. He understands there's a

reverence here that I'm trying to fulfill the legacy of my

father. I carry the weight of not just

my people, but my father's dreams.

There's a reverence for God and there's a fog is fear of God.

There's a reverence and a fear of God that comes to crying out.

You know that you're approaching dynamite.

You know you're approaching a a place of power, of God's power

being released that's to be revered and that is sacred.

You got it. Supplication cries out

reverence. Supplication cries out history.

Many times a supplication you will begin in a place of

remembering what God has done. Because it's establishing in

you. I know who you are.

I've seen who you are. So when I'm crying, I'm crying

out, knowing that I know who you are and you know who you are and

you know who you've been and you know how you've been to us

before I took the phrase closes off.

So don't tell me you can't. Don't tell me you won't.

Because I know who you are, and I know who you've.

Been There's a history that's there.

History always empowers you. Quick, quick tip for you.

David said this when he facing Goliath.

I've killed the lion, I've killed the bear.

He's recording history. When God was with him, this was

going to be the same revelation says this.

We overcome the enemy by the word of our testimony, by the

blood of the Lamb, the word of our testimony, and they love not

their lives unto death. Your testimony is crying out of

God's faithfulness over the course of history.

OK. And that's why as a community

it's important, because I got a testimony of God's faithfulness.

And when I run out of mine, He got one, then he got one and he

got one, and then she got one. I can continue to use your

testimony as part of my God. I know you the I know the God of

Mark Rivera. I know what you brought him

through. I God, I know the testimony in

his life. You're their God.

You'll be their God today for us.

You'll be no different God because you're faithful and as

you work to Him, you've been to her.

As you work to her, you've been to him and to her and to him.

There is no compromise in your faithfulness.

There's no ending to it because there's too many stories for me

to consider that you run out of faithfulness today.

You kind of see what I'm saying. Supplication cries out history.

Supplication cries out big. Supplication is for big stuff.

Supplication is for significant stuff.

Solomon's prayer for over the temple is what about a temple by

generations, about people and about nations, about government?

It was something bigger than just God.

I just wish I had some more outfits.

You don't supplicate over outfits typically.

OK, No, no, no. Why would you?

When would you supplicate over an outfit?

When would you? Let me tell you, when you

supplicate over your outfit, When you're going to seeing

somebody really powerful? God, I got to be ready.

I got to honor you and how I'm dressed.

God, you know how I feel about how I look at my figure and my

body. You know, I'm a walk in that

room God and I'm a feel like the ugliest person there.

But I want to represent you, God.

I want them to see you, God. So God, please give me something

to wear that demonstrates your faithfulness.

And when people see it, God, they'll see your goodness and

they'll see your faithfulness, and they'll see you what you've

done, and they'll evoke something in me that reminds me

that I'm fearful and wonderfully made.

That I'm beautiful and handsome and I'm chosen and I have

nothing to fear no matter where I am.

It depends on the context. I'm just saying generally you're

not crying out for another outfit because typically that's

not big enough. A toddler whose first day of

school and they really want to have a a nice outfit for them,

that's a cry out. Context makes a difference.

You see what I'm saying? But it has to be something big.

Supplication cries out generations, not just you, but

people beyond you. Supplication cries out undone.

There's an element of supplicating where you are just

completely. I ain't got nothing else.

I'm not trying to be sophisticated.

I'm not trying to be whatever God.

I am just here and I'm giving you everything that I have.

I'm pouring my entire soul into this God.

I am literally just kind of just undone.

I'm not tied up. I'm not tangled up.

I'm not if I if I sweat or whatever it is, if I toss

something, I toss. It doesn't matter.

God supplication cries out. Being undone.

Now undone is not just physical. It's how you think about

yourself. I'm undone.

I see people do this sometimes we in church and God is doing

something tremendous right. And you can tell the presence of

God is heavy on people and things and someone will do this

cries all over them, but they're like, I only want to trick it

out a little bit at a time. Sometimes being undone is like,

you don't care. Sometimes that's being undone.

It's not always about clothes and outfits.

It's about how I how I put restraints on my expression of

what God's doing in my life. I'm not holding back undone.

Supplication cries out strength. It cries out knowing that God

will cries out from a place of strength on the inside of you.

To truly supplicate unto the Lord that supplication to your

prayer, you got to be praying for some place strong.

That's why you pray from the Word.

That's why you pray from knowing what God has done according to

His Word, because that is always strength.

Supplication cries out confidence.

The very fact I'm crying out to you shows you that I believe and

know that you can do what I'm asking you to do.

But this wasn't quite supplication.

But here's an example of the confidence Jesus at the wedding

of Cana, he says it's not my time.

His wife, his mom says listen, go help the people.

He says it's not my time and Mary goes to the servants.

Whatever he say do I'm going back to the party.

That's the confidence I got to him.

Whatever he say going to be good.

So just go to him and the fact you're going to him demonstrates

that you believe something. Good going to come out.

Supplication cries out strength. Supplication cries out

confidence, confidence, confidence as well.

Supplication cries out peace. It cries out from a place of

wholeness. Wholeness.

Supplication cries out sacrifice.

There's no supplication without sacrifice.

And you can already see the undone is like an example of

sacrifice, right? There's a sacrifice that comes

with supplication. How much skin do you want to put

in the game? How much of your soul you want

to put in the game? What are you willing to do,

right? There's a, there's a, there's a

preacher from the 50s. He said he wants to know God's

power and he said this. He said I'm going in his closet

and not coming out until I got it.

And he went out in and came out a couple times but finally said

I'm not quitting this time. He went in and locked the door.

He sacrificed food, sacrificed time, sacrificed space.

He says I'm not coming out until I got it.

What are you willing to sacrifice?

What's worthy in the Kingdom for you to be able to say this?

I'm not moving till I got it. I'm not moving from this spot

till I got it. What does God it mean?

It means at least the revelation of his being done on side of

your heart and your soul. First Kings 8, Solomon's

supplication for God's house. We kind of already have some

verses there. And now in that tone, if I just

share with you, we're going to go through these verses and hear

this supplication. And I thought it was

appropriate. Why?

Because like Solomon, we're in the process of building and

dedicating a house, OK, this community here, this whole

entire facility here. But specifically our focus is on

the worship center about 85,000. We need to finish this next

phase. This will this phase will

complete lights and electricity and those kinds of things.

And so we are in that process. So I think it's good to see how

Solomon approached crying out to God for the dedication of the

church that he had helped put together.

And I think it's important why? Because sometimes we can cry out

about the resource, but we don't cry out as much about the why.

See, Solomon Church has already built this all focus on what

it's going to do. So my hope is we go through this

in our context of our remnant project here, right?

That you will be stirred in your soul about the hope of what a

place or House of God will do. So much so that the cry of your

soul for what it will do will spill over to a cry of your soul

for it to be fully resourced and finished and completely done.

Amen. Amen.

First Kings 822 says then Solomon stood before the Lord's

burnt offering altar in the presence of all the assembly of

Israel, and spread forth his hands towards heaven.

Now when I'm going through these verses, think about the stuff we

just said. Supplication is what does it cry

out? So here we see his crying out

sacrifice. What does he say before the

Lord's burnt offering altar in the presence of the assembly?

The sacrifice is required. And he said, Oh Lord, the God of

Israel, there is no God like you in heaven above or on earth

beneath, keeping covenant and showing mercy and loving

kindness. To your servants who walk before

you with all their heart. Supplication cries out history.

It cries out reverence, It cries out the fear of God.

He's not praying like this. O Lord the God of Israel,

there's no God like you in heaven.

He's supplication cries out being undone.

Why? He's a king in front of his

people crying out like this. He's a king in front of his

people, showing vulnerability, showing dependence showing.

You may think I'm a great king, but I am nothing without the God

that's made me a king. He's showing that humility in

front of in front of people that hate him, people that curse him,

his enemies that try to undermine him.

Supplication cries out being undone.

It cries out humility. It cries out vulnerability.

You could have listed a lot of other things there.

You have kept what you. Promised your servant David and

my father. Now I'm going to pause right

here very quickly. I'm going to change the

atmosphere. OK, Adam, come up here.

OK, what what we're doing right now, OK, what we're doing right

now is not information. What we're doing right now is

this OK? Don't sit here trying to think

it and listen to it. Sit.

Don't sit here bracing for this. OK?

You be ready to catch it. It is something that's coming to

come on you. It's something that's coming to

impact you. OK, Well, I don't know how to do

no crying out. Then catch the atmosphere and

spirit of a king who's giving you an example.

Upgrade your heart from a place of consistency, just

complacency. Let your soul be open to what

God is saying and the move of His Spirit in this moment and

let it transform you and lift you some place where maybe you

might be uncomfortable going. And if you want to know how to

respond to this, don't just click.

Take a picture and read. You can sit down.

Don't just take a picture and go read through the words.

Let your heart be like this and say God may that.

Spirit be on me, God, I'm catching the spirit of this

thing. You've kept what you promised

your servant David, my father, and you also spoke with your

mouth, and you have fulfilled it.

With your very hand as it is this day.

Therefore now, O Lord the God of Israel, keep with your servant

David, my Father, what you promised him when you said there

should not fail you. A.

Man before me to sit on the throne of Israel, if only your

children take heed to their way that they walk before you.

Walk before me as you have done. That's the promise of Jesus.

Jesus is the answer to this Solomon's cry out.

His cry carried resonated through generations and

generations and generations to the hit Jesus.

Now, O God of Israel, let your word, which you spoke to your

servant David, my Father, be confirmed by experience.

God let. You, what you said, be confirmed

by experience. God, let what you said be

confirmed by experience. God, I want to see my family

saved. God, I want to see my city

delivered. Let it be confirmed by

experience. Oh God, what does kneeling have

to do with supplication? It's a posture of humility, but

it's also a posture. Of I just have.

There's no more strength. God, I'm pouring out my heart to

you to the point where my strength David talks about in

the Psalms where my strength is at an end.

I have even little strength to even hold my own weight for all

of my. Strength is being poured out to

you. That's what it means.

That's why Neely comes into play now.

O God of Israel, that you worried what you spoke be

confirmed. But will God indeed dwell with

men on the earth? Behold, the heavens and heaven

of heavens in its most extended compass cannot contain you.

How much less this house than I've built.

What he says, God am I cry. God, I'm not stupid am I cry.

This house can't contain you. I understand that.

I'm not foolish enough to think you're so small you can be

contained by a house. But God is the best we got and

we want it to be something that makes a mark for this nation and

for the countries and for the people that are around.

That's what he's saying. This worship center.

It's not. It can't contain the power of

God and the presence of God. Come on now.

You don't want a God who can fit in that kind of building.

But like Solomon, what we're saying is God, it's not about

you filling the building. It's about what the building

means to you and what it represents to the people.

It's our sacrifice and our service unto you God.

And people will see it. And there's something that's

going to happen through this building we've caught, we're

crying out for, yet gracious, yet graciously.

Consider the prayer and supplication.

He's saying supplication again of your servant.

God, you know I serve you. He's not saying you owe me.

He says, God, I'm trying to serve you even in this.

Oh, Lord, my God knows the personal relationship.

Not a distant far. God, Oh, Lord, my God, my God,

who delivered me. My God, who took the shame of

being a bastard child born out of wedlock and out of murder.

You've taken that away from me. You've made me king.

Oh Lord my God, who's been with me to hearken to the loud crying

prayer which he prays before you today.

Now this is going back to the verses we read earlier, OK?

That your eyes may be open towards this house night and

day, toward the place of which you have said My name shall be a

token of my presence shall be there.

That you may hearken to the prayer which your servant shall

make in the face of facing towards this place.

I go to the next verse 30. So you see her here, David's

cry. And This is why David wants to

build God a house. This is why he wants a place

where people don't know where to find God.

They can connect with God here. Not that God is limited to this

building, but it's a point of contact.

Hearken to the prayer of your servant and of your people

Israel, when they pray in or toward this place.

God, we're crying out that whenever we're praying here or

towards here that you listen God here in heaven, your dwelling

place. And when you hear forgive

whenever a man sins against his neighbor and is made to take an

oath and comes and swears the oath before your altar in this

keep going in this house, we're going all the way down through

the end. So you can just keep running as

I'm reading then here in heaven, and do and judge your servants

condemning the wicked, bringing guilt, bringing his guilt upon

his own head, and justify the righteous by rewarding him in

accordance to the righteousness with God.

What he's saying is God, we're praying, God, that when people

pray in for this place that you hear their prayers, and when

there's wickedness, God let their sin be forgiven.

God, let nothing get in the way of you answering when people

turn towards or in this place to cry out to you.

God, if there's injustice, judge rightly.

Judge accordingly, even if the judgment comes on me, God, and

let me be righteous before you as I'm crying out to you in this

place. When your people Israel struck

down before the enemy because they sinned against you and they

turn again to you, confess your name, pray beseeching you in

this house, God here and forgive the sin of your people Israel

and return them to the land you gave to their fathers.

He's crying out for a nation. He's crying out for generations.

He's crying out through difficulty, through ups and

downs and pains. And remember all of us connected

to what those who are connected in or towards this house.

What he's saying is God, if they're far away and this and

then this happened to turn towards this place, hear God,

hear God, even if they don't know you hear God, their prayer.

Forgive them, God, if even if they don't want to ask for

forgiveness if they're in sin, forgive them God, that you might

hear their prayer. That you might respond with a

heaven to shut up, and no rain falls because they have sinned

against you. If they pray in or toward this

place and confess your name and turn from their sin, you'll

flick them then here in heaven, and forgive the sin of Your

servants, Your people Israel, when you teach them the good way

in which they should walk, and give rain upon your land, which

you have given to your people as an inheritance.

He's interceding for people. He's crying out.

God, we know we're not a perfect people.

We will sin against you when we do and we turn, God, hear our

forgiveness, hear our prayer. When that we sin against you,

that the heavens have dried up and there's no rain in the land,

forgive us, God, we turn towards this place, hear our forgiveness

and hear our prayer. He's crying out to have God

established this place as a place where anyone who's in

need, anyone who's broken, anyone who's failed, anyone

who's distant, anyone that knows God, anyone that doesn't, can

turn towards a place and encountered God fully as those

who fully know him. That's his cry.

Father, we're crying out to you right now.

Now if you don't know, that's transition all that's transition

time preaching done, God said. Why you going to spend more time

talking about crying out? Why don't you just do it?

What you got to cry out for, see, And right now, I'm going to

tell you right now, I ain't trying to get on him coaching

you up. All this stuff that got you

sitting back with your weight on your butt and your seats.

That's the stuff that's keeping you from experiencing the

fullness of God, The stuff that keeps you from crying out.

We didn't set a whole atmosphere of saying this is a place and

day to cry out. Don't worry about your makeup,

don't worry about your hair, don't even worry about what you

got to say. Cry out your history with God.

Cry out his faithfulness. Cry out the blood.

Cry out all of those things we've already said.

That's not now. This is a.

This is the time. We're like, I'm not sure how to

do this. Still see this the part we're

getting loud can be helpful. Just be louder.

Pray whatever you praying, but pray it louder.

Just cry it out louder. That's the beginning of a cry.

Yes, Lord, Yes, Lord, we're people that cries out to you.

Oh God, Oh God. Oh God.

Oh God, God who's held the universe in your hands.

God, who's kept my, kept me and my family from generation to

generation. Oh God, oh God, oh God, Oh God,

the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, the God

who's sent Jesus as a sacrifice and poured out his blood.

Oh God, Oh God, Oh God, God, God have cried out to you, God.

This worship center has to be finished, God, and we thank you

that you're doing it, God. A finished worship center

becomes a place where the people in all of these buildings, the

skin will turn to. And as they do hear their cries,

God hear their prayers. Oh God, when they sit in their

bedrooms, in the balconies and despair, Oh God, hear that

despair and meet them and forgive them and transform them.

Oh, God, when marriages in these buildings on the verge are

breaking up, when mutilation and death is on the way, God,

because of marriage disgrace. God here.

We pray that you feed God and all the buildings that surround

this worship center place where people need hope and they pass

by that hope be embedded in this place that cries and goes over

all to them. Oh godfather, we're praying that

you infuse this place infuse our worship center with such

anointed and grace God that all who pass by come underneath your

presence. All who pass by come underneath

your power. All who pass by are transformed

and changed. And when people at the last end

for addiction, God send them by our house, they're just passing

by. Addiction gets broken when

people are seeking you, God, have confused ways of religion.

God, send them by our house, but just stay in our house.

Just walking past it, they would encounter your power and your

presence. Not because the bricks are

magic, but because God, you inhabit the place.

You hear our prayer, you use our house, you use our worship

center as a point of contact. Oh God, you're the God who's

finished it. You're the God who supplied all

the resource. You've got it by your power.

You finished Solomon's temple. You're the God that finishes

ours. Oh God, we cry out to you.

Oh Lord, Oh God, we're crying out to you.

Oh God, Oh God, my God. When we get off, forgive us and

get us back on. When our city goes astray, God

intervene, We pray. God.

When there's no rain God, and the fires are consuming

territory, Send the rain, God, forgive sin.

Forgive, preach and send the rain.

O Lord God, when the immigrants come looking for hope, when they

turn in and towards this place, God, let them encounter your

grace and your power and your anointing.

Oh Godfather, we're asking you that.

We're crying out. God, you would make this place

like a burning Bush on fire, but not consumed, a place where

people can see like the mountain that God is there.

And guess when they turn to look and wonder, what is this?

Let them hear your voice and your presence speak and draw

them near. Father, we're crying out that

the weight of your presence and the weight of Your glory will be

upon this house, that it will be a place, God, where generations

can come, place of generation salvation, place of city

salvation to prevent your salvation.

Oh, God is a place. Father, we're praying that you

make us a people who supplicate unto you and who cry out.

Father, make us a crying out people.

It's not afraid to cry out. Make us men that are not afraid

to cry. Out to you, God, God, I need

you, God, I depend on you God. Let not the greatest volume of

our voice be a cuss or be a cheer for an athletic team, but

let the greatest volume of our voice as men be a cry unto God

in need and dependence and honor for you, O God, And let men see

it as strength, and let women see it as strength as well.

God, I can't have no more tears to weep, and my strength seems

to be fading. God, we've been crying.

I've been crying Lord for years and my days are coming to an

end. But I believe you heard every

prayer, and I believe that you're a God that allowed me to

see that what you promised me, that what you've shown me,

Godfather. We cry out for the broken God.

We cry out for those in despair. Father, the next couple minutes

we're going to cry out. For those who can't cry for

themselves, fill our voices with the cry that people have a hard

time crying out for themselves. Let our cry be an intercessory

cry, God. In this moment.

Let our cry be an accessory cry. Oh God, I'm available.

Oh God, come, God, transform me. God, please, I need you.

God, I can't even seem to open my mouth, but God, I'm crying

out to you. God, I'm desperately in need of

you. God, transform me.

God, make me new. God, do something in my soul.

God, transform me. God, I'm crying out for those

who can't cry for themselves. God, open my mouth, touch my

heart, break me from this bondage that keeps me from

crying out to you. Oh God, loose my lips, I pray,

loose my heart and my soul to rise and elevate and pour out

unto you God. No, you can't hold me.

I'm going to cry out to God. No, I'm going to cry out to God.

No, I'm going to cry out to God. No, he'll kill my prayer.

It's not about how intellectual. It's about the depth of my cry.

It's not about how much I know. It's about how much I know He's

faithful, and then I'm going to cry out about his faithfulness.

Thank you, Lord. Amen, Amen.

Amen. Father, we crowded Thanksgiving

knowing that you finish this worship center, knowing that

you've done it. Through the works of our hands,

through the generosity of our giving, through the grace upon

our lives. God, we know that you've done

it. The work is continuing.

God, there was a cry that said the work may stop.

And a cry went out and we and you responded through us and the

work continues. Father, our cry is that the work

never stops. Our cry is that the work never

stops. Our cry is that the work never

stops. Do what you must bring or how

you will open every heart. God, I cry.

The work will never stops. For our God never stops.

The work will never stop. For our God never stops.

work of the ministry, the work of that station, The work of

Very quickly. I want you, everyone, to sit

down. How many people here, and

there's a moment of grace here right now, How many people here

just feel stuck? Just put your hand up.

Don't be ashamed. Just put your hand up.

Lift your hand way up. It's not a shame that to say you

feel stuck. See, I'm from Chicago.

Pause just for a bit. I'm from Chicago, where it snows

a lot and sometimes my car gets stuck and that's OK because I

say I need help and help comes to get me unstuck.

It's the nature of Chicago. There's no shame of being stuck

in the snow. There's no shame in coming to a

House of God and saying I'm just feeling stuck because now we can

gather around and Rock You and push you out.

OK, so here's what I want to do. How many of those people just

feeling stuck? Raise your hand.

OK, raise your hand. Now I'm going to ask you to do

something even more right, this act of faith.

Now I want you to. Stand.

See, in your standing, you're unsticking yourself.

See, it's activation, right? I don't even got to know.

Just in your standing, you said I'm not stuck.

I'm not going to be stuck. Even if all I can do is stand

up. I'm not stuck.

OK now, now for those that are standing.

Now I want all of those that are sitting.

OK, we go cry out for them and it's OK to need help getting us

sleeper. This is what I really want to

tell you, because I want you to receive the cry.

Don't try to hold it together because I believe and I crying

and your boldness to say God is a God that can unstick me and

I'm with the people of God who care enough and love me enough

to unstick me and your boldness to say that I believe grace

comes and the boldness of our prayer grace comes so I ever it

comes. Just let it unstick you.

Maybe that sticks your tears. Maybe that sticks your emotion.

Maybe just let it unstick you. So all of y'all that standing

up, y'all just receive. You can enter in as you feel,

but this is our service to you right now.

Now when everyone else sitting down, you see your friends, your

family, those that love you, those you sit next to begin to

cry out to God behalf on on behalf of them.

What do I cry? God unstick them.

God unstick them. God unstick them.

God unstick them. God breakthrough the stuck

places. God, we're crying out for them.

They need you. God, they boldly stood up and

said I need to be unstuck. God unstick them.

God responds to their boldness, respond to their vulnerability.

God, God beat them. God break them free.

God, show them, release them. God break them through.

God in their emotion, in their prayer, in their love, in their

life, wherever it is they're unstuck.

God unstick them, breakthrough unstick them.

God unstick them, unstick them, shake them, transform them.

God move in their hearts, move in their lives, move in their

souls, move in their lives. God, God, every single one.

Whenever it's got you stuck. Break, break, break, break,

break, break, break, break, break, break, break, break,

break, break, break, break, break, break, Break whatever's

got you stuck. Break God.

Break the thing that's sticking them.

Break the feathers, Break the iron, break the bondage.

Break. Break God.

Break, Break God. Break.

Only you can break free. Break them free the only way you

can break them the way you can break them free.

Way you can, God. God thank you for motivating

from breathing life. God.

Yeah, Lord. Yeah.

Lord. Deliverance is coming.

We thank you, Father. Freedom from being stuck, God.

Stuck in their mind. Stuck in their mindset.

Stuck in their limited vision of you.

They're breaking free right now. Breaking free, God.

Stuck in their emotions, breaking free, stuck in their

prayer life, breaking free, stuck in their pursuing the

word, breaking free, stuck in knowing Jesus, breaking free

God. These are family God.

These are sisters and our brothers of God.

Care from heaven, God, care from heaven and hear the crime for my

spirit. Break loose God.

Break the free, God. Unstick them.

God, thank you, Lord.

And you ain't got to unstick yourself.

You don't have to unstick yourself.

We're praying. We're praying for you.

So I wanted to do another another symbolic thing in the

Bible. Many times God would have people

do things to demonstrate spiritual realities.

OK, there was no magic in the thing but the faith and

obedience to God's direction. Is what did it.

OK. Story in the Bible that says

this, that when they were in jail, the ones prayed and

interceded and everybody that was stuck, they that's what they

did. They lifted their hands and as

they did, the chains just fell off.

But you've already taken a huge step to stand up.

That's one said, I'm unstuck, OK.

And I'm going to encourage you in this moment as we worship and

encourage you, I'm going to encourage you to lift your

hands. And as you lift your hands, just

believe the word of God says that those chains are coming off

just in the lifting of your hands.

Just in saying God, I'm just going to do this right now.

The chains are you. I'm telling you, they're

breaking off. Just a lift in your hands that

the stuckness is falling. You've been real courageous

today, and God sees that courage and answers that courage.

Mighty men and women of valor, you haven't been weak.

You've demonstrated your weakness and dependence on God,

but you haven't been weak because you've turned to God for

strength. Just keep your hands lifted up.

Just live in that unstuck. Just live in that freedom.

That's it, Lift your hands. That's it, Lift in your hands.

You make our declarations that are free.

Prince and shake out the sound. We must have the sound.

We change the law. Prince and shake out the sound

Jesus made whole until we got the sound.

She's the chain, the Lord.

There is freedom. There is freedom.

The. Give God the biggest hand clap

folks that was feeling stuck, I want you to clap like this.

If you're still in stuff ready see them chains all the way

gone. Get your hands up and clap over

your head. Just clap over your head.

I'm totally free. There's no place where no chains

and grab hold of me. I'm totally free.

I'm glad someone cried out for me.

We want everybody to come out because we want to make a state,

you know, it's cry out. It's more than just in the

church house. Our cheers is a cry out.

Our cheers is a cry out in the midst of that community in that

space. So we want to have everyone come

out. So last game before the playoffs

begin, they trying to act like we're not the first place team.

It's time to go do some crying out, OK, and what's the

difference that crying out can make?

So the last game we score was 4246 at halftime, OK right.

So our past is always pastoring, right?

We send them updates. What's happening with the

basketball thing, right? He said, man, you said, EJ, you

need to go ahead and tell these people to say do something,

right? Tell them to play with

intensity. Tell them to play like they.

Capable of playing. So I stood up and I began to cry

out different. It wasn't just me.

A whole community did, right? So you know what the final score

was? Halftime score was 4246.

You know what the final score was?

100-1065. That's the kind of breakthrough

that comes when you cry out from close door to runaway victory,

right? So come join us this Friday, get

people see that people encourage, people are

transformed by our presence. Believe me.

And sometimes it's only when you've been there can you really

grasp it in a, in a most direct way.
