Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International

Church Podcast where we seek to love all nations, equip the

church, mobilize the equipped and serve all.

you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get

your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe

some tea and get ready to receive.

It's go time. Let's get into it.

Come on one more time and say I'll believe.

Look at your neighbors. Say do you believe?

Look at your other neighbors. Say you sit you sitting next to

a believer, so watch out. I believe I'm sitting in a room

full of people that believe God can do anything at any time.

Come on, say anything at any time.

Father, we just thank you that you are the God of the

impossible and we say thank you for what you're doing in our

hearts right now. Put up Luke 2432 Father, we just

thank you today that you do something within.

If you do something within, we can handle whatever without do

something within our hearts today.

Bible, Bible, kind of Bible says that out of the abundance of the

heart, the mouth cries out. So everybody in here crying out

for something. It just depends on what's in

your heart abundantly. Just really quick.

This is a scripture that is, it just gives a picture of what I'm

believing God is doing right now and what I believe He wants to

do for those that are willing to let him in.

Amen. Luke 2432.

I'm believing for your, for for for for some of y'all.

Today I stuttered because I was going to say I'm believing for

all of y'all. But what I do find out is you

don't really believe for people who don't want to change.

They made their mind up like I'm not going to, I'm not going to

direct my faith to I pray for you.

But when someone knows better and chooses to do the opposite,

what am I believing for? Only thing I can believe for is

that you decide to turn and and what that simply means is unless

you allow the word to bring you to repentance, you can't reap

the promises from it. You can't get promised from the

word before repentance. If the word doesn't grip your

heart, don't look for it to fill your pockets, right?

Stop using the word and trying to use God and religion to save

you from stuff and bring stuff into your life.

This is not that religion. You don't need religion to

prosper. You don't need Jesus to fulfill

monetary desires more than you need him to fill the voids in

your life. And I believe 100% of you in

here, all of us, all of us are carrying something that the Lord

is right now. Just saying, drop it.

It's too heavy for you, not too heavy for him.

Every day we carry something. Every day.

The test is, are you going to let it go?

All right, Luke, OK, I'm I'm I'm really trying to waste spend

some time. There we go.

They said to one another, you know, Jesus returns, he

resurrects he they're walking down they walking down King

George and they. Said to one another.

We're we're not, we're not. Our hearts greatly moved.

Somebody say moved? Somebody shout moved and

burning. Somebody shout burning within us

while he was talking with us on the road and as he opened and

explained to us the sense of the scriptures.

Everyone is on a road today. Our roads met.

Not everyone is on the road listening to Jesus.

I do believe everyone talking. Everybody got something to say

to God, but it says they were listening and they caught fire

from listening. Now the posture of their heart

lets me know that they were first of all #1 grateful to see

him #2 They were attentive, They just.

Didn't come to church to hear a inspirational word.

Or they were. They had the posture of convict

me. They had the posture.

Of expose me. They had to posture us, speak

right to my heart. They had the posture of Lord,

break me, I will let you break me.

It wasn't, it wasn't like, oh, if your word's strong enough, or

oh, if PT say the right thing, or oh, if Elder John is

anointed, or oh, if they sing the right song, I'll be broken.

There is no song we sing. There is no sermon we preach

that can break down your walls if God alone can't do it.

Now anybody in here that has come to change, Everyone of you

who want to change without the Lord change me.

Change. Don't come like that, Lord

change. Me.

No, you got to. It's almost like he just feeding

you. You saying change me with your

mouth full? Are you sitting here ready to

hear what God has to say to you without you tweaking and

manipulating or reasoning what he's saying?

Are you ready to be served? Because his desire is that.

Can we go back? We.

Greatly moved? Can God move you?

What do you need to be moved? I'm talking about moved, not

inspired. Moved, right?

Move you from where you walked in today and you going to leave

with a different heart posture like you ever heard somebody say

I was. Moved to tears.

Like can you can can God move you to the hand clap?

Can God move you to tears? Can God move you to a decision?

Can God move you to a decision today not need to pray about it

again. Here it is some of you.

God's going to answer your prayer today might not come the

way you wanted it to come, but he tell that thing.

Don't don't. Is that you?

Desire that He set your heart on fire.

It is his desire that today your little dry Christianity be done

with. Because some of y'all

Christianity can update. Just keep it real some of y'all

Christianity. I wouldn't follow Jesus if you.

If you was, if you, if you, if you was the the example of what

Jesus being in your life is. And I'm not talking about if you

don't do nothing wrong or if you got money.

I'm talking about just I don't want to follow a Jesus that

don't excite me about life. The point is, is this world is

dark and I follow Jesus because he is light and I can now exist

in a Dark World with joy, right? I don't, I, I'm not a whatever

these Christians with a dark cloud over them.

How, how aren't you? How, how has it, how has it

smile become your default face right now?

I was worried. No, no, no, no.

You're not an introvert. Stop.

Well, the Holy Ghost, if the Holy Ghost enter you, he want an

ultravert. Want an ultravert?

Hey, this is what this is, OK? I knew.

I knew it was. Going to happen.

I knew it was going to happen. So we're playing a game the

other day and we're we're we're building a team for this big

tournament coming up in two weeks, OK.

And there was a big man on our team.

So if you were there at the game the other night, two of the guys

that started with us, Brian and Mamba, they are Mumba's the one

that hit the game winner on us the other night, but we still

finished in first place. So yeah, yeah, Love Quest is in

first place. Yeah.

So so we'll go into the playoffs in first place.

I think we get a first round bye.

But anyway, stay tuned. But but I was talking so Mumba

and Brian, Brandon. Sorry, Brandon, that was that

was on the other team, but starting with us, they're going

to be on our team. I'm like, man, I'm tired of

trying to play with this person ever.

I just need some dogs. I don't care if they make a

bucket. What I can guarantee is those

two dudes is going to be. Dogs.

Right. And so but they also have

Spencer that was going to join us.

He's the big man that was on their team.

And so when they showed up the other night, he was like, yeah,

I just we roll them with you. You know, we could they said we

could not wait to rejoin Love quest team, right?

And then and then he said Spencer decided to go play for

Afro the the team that yeah, Afro hair salon.

He he decided to go over there with them.

I was like, OK, I'll see him on the court tonight and talk to

him about why he decided to go to the other team.

And then at the end of the game, so I talked to him first.

That's what I was talking to him about at half court and and, and

I I I'll checked him, but at the end of the game being him said

this, he said do. You know cats.

Hesitate to play with us because they know we have an

expectation. They know the expectation to

play with us is we going to play hard.

And most people want to coast, they want to play in the

tournament, but they they want to coast.

And that's kind of how I feel about some of us in here.

You you want to be saved, but you just want to coast.

You don't want no pressure applied.

You don't want to hear, you just want to get away with this.

You want to get away with your you ready your cultural excuses,

your racial biases. You want to hide behind what you

were taught culturally and talk to think about people who had

the same color skin as you. You were taught to think that

more so the color people are more the people with the

charisma and Pentecostal and and their their charismatic and jump

all over and their gospel music. And then CCM we know is more

like you see how even in gospel music, it's a split, but we sit

in our churches that way. That's why you can find most

churches either or and then they say we're diverse because you

have a few people sprinkled through the audience.

But the to me a diverse. Church is your entire your your

culture is impacted by the diversity, right?

It's not OK, we got multi color. And we're multi ethnic, but to

be multicultural means multicultures are celebrated and

you can see it in the DNA of the community.

So when you come into a multicultural church, you are

going to feel the weight and the pressure of having to bend in

multiple cultures ways. So musically, we can be, we can

be CCM and we can be quiet or whatever that represents.

But there's also going to be a pressure on the people who are

used to just being in passive worship.

There's going to be a pressure on you to step up a little bit

because we're trying to experience heaven, not our race,

OK. And dancing is not the black

folks thing. It came from heaven.

Before we were formed in anybody's womb there was dancing

and singing. But how is gospel music, black

people music when we all represent the gospel?

How did we get here though? We always end up in right here.

Amen. That's OK, but the burn, the

burn, the burn, the burn. Somebody say the burn.

There's a burn within us, and at the end of the day, God wants

our worship. The one thing you find yourself

doing as a transformed human being is worshipping.

The more you get closer to God, you sing a new song.

You don't have to be spurred on to lift your hands.

Right. This is the only thing, one of

the things I hate about just this one room is that when we

get over there and we have a lobby is just like the

sanctuary. When you walk in, it's going to

be prayer in the all this, you know, coffee and fellowship and

all that. And then we got to spend 20

minutes to get you pumped up. No, like when you walk in on

Sunday evening, if you want to fellowship, you're going to stay

in the lobby. And if you want to come into

church, you're going to walk into a place saturated.

When you walk into the. House of God, it should be

something. That you look forward to

gathering with your brothers and sisters so we can encounter the

Father. And that should be everybody's

goal. Therefore, if that's your goal,

you can't come in here holding anything back.

You can't hold your voice back. You can't hold your clap back.

You can't hold your love back. You can't because you don't

understand that what's locked inside of you.

It's like if everybody if if, if somebody came and robbed.

The Room, OK, it said. Everybody empty their pockets.

Put on the altar everything you got in your pockets and your

purse. Everybody.

If you were smart, you would empty your pockets and you would

empty your purse. And that's what should happen

when you come to church, is everybody empty themselves.

And then there's an accumulation of faith and testimonies in the

room that I, I'm telling you, heaven has to respond, cry out.

Let your cry, breathe. Out before you bleed out.

You cannot do this without God, your cry.

It protects you, your cry. It preserves you.

Your cry also purges you. It's not going to come up on the

slides. This is not up there.

OK, when we, when we started this a few weeks ago, a couple

weeks ago. God doesn't have to get us to

cry when something goes wrong. And this is how we often will

when we sit here, cry out, we often think.

Sad, we often think. Overwhelmed, we often think.

Tragedy, catastrophe, divorce, death.

Most of our crying comes from something bad, and a lot of

times the bad doesn't break us, it calluses us.

When you cry out before the Lord, it will break you and

build you, not break you and callous you.

Let your cry breathe out before you bleed out.

Like a lot of mental illnesses in this world comes from people

being calloused by life trauma. And instead of crying unto the

Lord, we cry unto booze, we cry unto drugs, we cry unto sex, we

cry unto sin. This is why now we are in that

world that we are in, where we need everything to heal us but

the one who made us. It is the cry on the lips of

sons and daughters that release the hearts of the Father on

earth as it is in heaven. It is the cry on the lips like

it's on my lips. Yeah, You see, I got to do this

because I just got to make it practical.

You are you, You. You ever just want to say

something to somebody? What you wanted to say was where

on your lips. It wasn't something you have to

think about, it was something you had to prepare for.

You just was like soon as I see I can't wait to see you.

And you knew exactly and sometime because it was on your

lips. You had no self-control and it

slipped off your lips faster than you intended because it was

already where on your lips. This is this is what I'm saying.

And what if a thank you was always on your lips?

What if a God you are faithful was always on your lips?

It is the cry on the lips of sons and daughters that release

the heart of the Father on earth as it is in heaven.

What is the heart of the Father is that you have peace,

uninterrupted, undisturbed peace.

What is the heart of the Father is that you have healing in your

life, that you have comfort, that you have strength, that you

have joy. That's the heart of the Father.

And a lot of the stuff that you are believing for, you're just a

cry away when the cries of heaven and the cries of earth

join forces. The cries of heaven and the

cries of earth join forces. The gates of hell shatter off

the hinges and sons and daughters break free.

This is very important, guys. This is very important.

This is very important. When we come and gather, you got

to see that there's an invisible not audience.

There is a in there. There is an invisible host that

is worshipping with us. The point of worship is to a lot

in prayer is to align ourselves with what heaven is crying out

for. Not what our emotions want.

Hear me. If heaven say Amen, I don't

necessarily need to know what heaven saying Amen about, but if

a Amen hit my spirit, it came from heaven.

I best give it my lips and agree with it because it's when my

lips agree with the heavenly Hostess lips that we begin to

see miracles. It's not when I cry out for my

deepest knees and my deepest wants and my LAX and this burden

to go away. It is when I align my desires

and my heart and my mouth with the desires and the heart and

the Word of God that I begin to see God's will manifest in my

life. And we have made the church

about a place that can help me get what I want.

Hallelujah. And one cried to another, and

one cried to another. This is a picture of what's

happening in heaven. Isaiah's having a vision.

And why do we leave so many visions in heaven?

What do you mean, Pastor Terence?

Well, let's read it. And one cry to another, that's a

vision in heaven. When we worship, when we say,

hey, man, sometimes you'll see them, right?

They write up here and you'll see them.

High 5 and you'll see them. Talking to each other, it's kind

of like this picture in heaven that's happening.

Is there's this this room full of people or angelic beings that

are agreeing about the majesty of God?

Like they're not just staring. It's not an Angel staring at

another Angel. Get his worship on.

It's another Angel like you right, he good.

Yep, you right, he faithful. Yep, you right, Yep.

I've seen them. Yep, you right.

It's it's not an Angel staring at an Angel.

I, I, I, I would like to believe all the angels look the same and

if you understood you as a son and a daughter, you would

understand we look the same. And they just like, Oh yeah, I

agree. I agree.

They're not just speaking about their experience, they're also

aligning themselves with their neighbors experience.

Here's why. Because all of our experience

came from the same nature, God as provider, God as healer, Lord

of the breakthrough, all came from the same person.

So as you testify out your spirit, I don't it'll be too

many state. Like I'm not going to say your

testimony. But as you thinking God, have

you ever have somebody has somebody tears or praise?

Ever moved you right right. We we, we now we got some really

dramatic people that like when, when like army commercials come

on, you cry or certain type of movies you cry or a certain type

of music you cry and something here it is moved you like

somebody else making it through somebody else almost, almost

killing themselves somebody. Almost losing their family,

like, like that stuff should move you.

And if you're not going to praise God over your own stuff,

at least praise them for somebody else's stuff.

Like like, do you? Can you imagine the energy in

this room if you, you, you, you begin to thank Him for what He's

doing in other people's lives, let alone yours?

Like if I just look around the room, I'm just looking at his

goodness that like, like, like I'm looking at his glory when I

see you. So if I just give him 60 seconds

to praise him for what he's doing in your life, and then

I'll move on to the next person, and then I move on to the next

person. Then I move on to the next

person. Then I thank Him for Judah's

life. Then I thank Him for what He's

doing in your life. Then I thank Him for what he's

doing in your life. You're not thank him for what

he's doing in your life. Like, like it ain't no time.

The reason why we got to get you in and get you out because you

came for you. You came to church for for

something you need to get in your time frame.

But when you just get lost in his goodness, man, I can look

around this room and praise Him before I even get to me.

See, here's the power of praise. When I pray with corporate

praise is when I praise Him for what He's just doing.

I forget about me. What?

What if? What if Jesus was able to endure

the cross because he forgot about His?

Pain. Your your pain was greater than

his pain. You hear it is your eternal debt

was greater than his physical pain.

But we often mostly come in here like this towards the platform.

Feed me, feed me. Instead of looking next to the

person I'm sitting next to is a miracle, the person I'm sitting

next to is a work. No matter where you are in your

life, you are a work of God. They cried to one another and

said, holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts.

The whole earth is full of his glory.

Look at, look at what? Look at what they're saying.

They wasn't like, look at us, look at us with our wings.

Look at us. We so magic.

We so majestic, right? We so majestic.

Come on, somebody do this. We so majestic, right?

We so majestic, right? Look, we so majestic.

They did. They weren't even talking about

themselves. They said look at the earth.

It's full of his glory. And in Vancouver, Greater

Vancouver, you should know about his glory.

You boast about how beautiful the you can get from the

mountains to the water in just under 30 minutes and all the

lakes and the maybe and the whales pass through and the

bears. British Columbia's full of his

glory, and we steal this old Sediti, stale, dry Christianity,

and we pick churches that don't apply pressure.

The whole earth is full of its glory.

And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice.

Here it is of him who cried. There was a shaking from a cry,

and then the house was filled. Here it is.

The shaking could be also looked at this way.

I don't know about you, but has God's word ever shook you?

And it wasn't until His word. Shook.

You that he was able to come in and feel you.

If it listen. If he can't shake you, he can't

feel you. Right, right.

If you hear this word and you and you not shook at the sin in

your life, stop walking around to my love God.

Yeah, I. Will tell you now you're a liar.

You're an absolute liar and that's that's pointing to

somebody heart. If the word don't shake you

enough here, here's what Job said here's here.

He said, I make covenant with my eyes.

Joseph said, Nah, Nah, Nah. You can have this robe I'm not

sleeping with you shook and you wondered that Joseph didn't have

favor. Joseph had honor.

Joseph had holy dignity. He had holy and righteous

integrity. Joseph wasn't living a secretive

life. You sit here and worship with

your voice audibly all you want to but your your heart until

your heart and your actions cry out.

Stop crying because God's not moved by your tears, He's moved

by your repentance. Can he shake your mind?

If he can't shake your mind, he cannot renew your mind.

Then I said, whoa, it's me. Look at him.

He just said he shook. He like whoa, brother, for I am

undone, I am ruined. I can't live this way no more.

I like. How dare us look before.

How dare us go to the Father unshook by the way we live and

present ourselves to him. How dare us look it when the

Holy Ghost came in the room. He's like the The presence of

God should expose you. 1st you ready?

Are you ready for some of y'all? There's many of you in here want

the Lord you you. One of your prayers is Lord use

me. When's the last time you prayed?

Lord exposed me. That's a different type of

prayer right there. I promise you this.

He'll expose you privately first, right?

You see how I'm preaching right now, right?

That word is meant to burn and move.

Get what I'm saying? Privately?

He's dealing with some of you in your heart.

Now here's the catch, you're going to walk out of here and

remember the prayer in the beginning is that He moves you

to decision. He moves you to some lifestyle

changes today. Today, this is the day the Lord

has made. I'm going to make decisions and

be glad in it. You know what I'm saying?

There's some people will sit. In here and be like this good

word. They'll write notes.

Some people write notes out of conviction.

What do I mean by that? Let me write it down so it look

like I'm like I'm getting it. How how we know you getting it

is you walk out of here and live different.

Hallelujah. Hey, the words should make you

squirm in the church. Anybody ever squirm in church?

Right, them spirits get you squirming.

Amen. But but man, I don't want to

like squirm all the time. Like when I'm going to rest in

his presence and I squirt, you can't squirm and rest.

Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst

of the people of unclean lips, for my eyes have seen the king.

My eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.

I don't know about you, but I've seen the Lord of Hosts work in

my life. I've seen them fights and

battles. I can't hold me together no

more. These fig leaves are ruined.

In other words, some of us in here are choosing to do what

Adam and Eve did in the beginning.

You, you desire, you lived in the presence of God and then you

put on this facade, fig leaves, you just cover yourself and

instead of just being naked before the Lord, letting them

deal with you, you want to hide and hopefully things change.

God don't turn his head, you turn yours.

God don't turn his because he's good enough and holy enough.

He could still look at you in your filth.

The worst thing is when your Mama come to the point where she

stopped talking to you about your sin.

I'm going to tell you one more time, when when God shuts the

mouth of the voice He put in your life to warn you, you know

you're in danger. At that point.

The day you hear my voice, heart and not your heart.

One of the greatest blessings ever in my life is that I had

people in my life who would tell me what I didn't want to hear.

And I have family members that would check me.

And I remember in my family, I've seen my grandma do it, seen

my mom do it where it's just like warning and prayer and

praise and warning and prayer and praise and warning and

pleading and crying and arguments and wrestling and, and

then you all, you see it spiritually when the person

shuts their mouth, but have joy and peace about it.

They're not still talking through their, their, their sad

posture when you come around, it's like, almost like they

leave you hanging. It's just like they hug you and

don't mention it no more, right? Because some of you get

comfortable from the encouragement of warning, right?

Some of us want to be carried and we get comfortable getting

carried. And for some of you, on the flip

side, you have to do this in this season.

Stop talking to your kids about their mess.

You got to actually let them wallow in it because it comes a

point where God sends you to be His voice.

And then when God tells you he don't need his voice no more,

you need to shut up. Just love, just love and let

them wallow. Whoever that's for crying out

requires spiritual engagement. Talk to me.

It's not a passive act. Let me, let me, let me do this.

So you get let me, let me, let me, let me, let me, let me

explain to you. It's not a passive act.

It requires a deep engagement. Meaning pass your brain.

It's not like oh, how am I going to look when I cry out or I

Can't Sing like them. Let me tell you, some of them

sometimes Can't Sing either. They be off key.

If you go listen to the stream right.

We some of them. They sound good sometime to you

and to themselves because we all in here screaming but when we go

listen to the. Stream the stream.

Exposes things. Hey, man, we're learning.

It's OK. We work on this stuff.

OK, But it's it's a deep engagement that requires you to

not, I want to say this very carefully.

I am not telling you not to think.

So you won't go out there and tell nobody.

Pastor G don't want us to think. He just want us to listen to

him. No, I no listen to the word.

I need you to think. But the kind of thinking that

I'm talking about, like I don't need to think about, do I

praise? I might need to think about his

goodness to stir me up, but I don't need to think about do I

clap or do I lift my voice or do I dance or do I move my knees or

do I uncross my hands? In a time of praise.

In a time of worship. No, it's it's not a passive act.

It requires deep engagement with one's emotions and faith

breaking through passivity and fear.

Have you ever been? Just busy, busy, busy, busy,

busy. And then you like you got in the

car and you turned on that music, that worship pad.

And immediately you start. Feeling away only a few of y'all

OK? That's that's right.

That's why we're talking about this.

But I know when I'm busy. Busy, busy.

And I'm like, all right, it's time to lock in.

I'm going my office. I'll turn on this type of music

and I'm going to focus on the Lord.

Man, it don't take long. It don't take long that that's

me setting my mind on him. And when I set my mind on his

goodness, it stirs my emotions up.

I need my emotions. You ready?

My emotions are not my motivation.

They're my offering. OK, my emotions is my offering.

Here's what you say. Cash your cash, your cares upon

me. My emotions is my offering, not

my motivation. So in order for me to have a

rich worship experience, I have to stir my emotions up.

And This is why you got to watch dead churches that tell you to

watch alive churches because they think we manipulating you.

No, he tells Timothy. Stir up stir up the flame like

there's a fire in all of. US but my emotions is my

offering. I might come in here sad, but

I'm gonna lay sad down. But I'm going to stir up my sad.

And today I'm just going to praise out of my sad.

But I'm not praising because I'm sad.

I'm going I'm going to praise. I'm going to praise out of sad.

And he's going to take those emotions.

I'm not going to let sad mute me.

I'm not going to let a heavy spirit.

Here's what he said. He said I am going to trade

this, this spirit of heaviness for a garment of praise.

He didn't say you were sinning because you was in a heaviness.

He's like, can you just trade? I'm trading my sorrows.

We've been may endure for a night, but in the morning

there's going to be a trade joy and what the enemy and what

people want you to do. No, no emotions are bad.

No, they're offerings. What are you going to do with

your emotions? Are you going to let your

emotions put you in prison, or are you going to let them

formulate one of the greatest praises you've ever had in your

life? Yeah, I walked in here depressed

today. But the devil shouldn't have

never messed with me. Stir me up.

You walked in here sad. You walked in here confused.

You walked in here with a heavy spirit.

You walked in here broken. Good.

You have something to offer. Come on, you have something to

offer. And then and then and then

there's some people that's like, Nah, I'm good.

I ain't, I ain't sad. I ain't depressed.

Look, if you ain't sad, depressed, broken, nothing, you

good, you should be praising, praising God way more than

somebody else. You should be leading the March,

man. You got something to offer.

And so many of you come in here on a Sunday with your emotions

and your mind filled with work all week and all that God's

saying, come with me. Come to me in spirit and in

truth. You'll read not just the Word,

but your reality. Your reality is is an offering

doesn't mean I'm not struggling with anxiety, but boy, this,

this anxiety is about to be. He works everything together for

good. Guess what?

Your anxiety is not so great. He can't use this for the one of

the one of the greatest breakthroughs you've ever

experienced. Come on man, you have something

to offer. And if everybody walked in here

and dug deep and was honest before God, this the church

should be a place where you are undone and you are broken.

one's emotions and faith. Got way too many people in

church starting with leadership thinking you got to walk in here

and act like you got. No wonder burnout is the.

Thing no wonder we've fallen to adultery.

It's because you're trying to act like you got it all together

and you force yourself to live a secret life.

He's like, no, I need help, man. I can't figure this out.

I'm pastoring, but I don't know how to do this.

We raising money ain't never did this.

I can't can't even get my Mama a house.

Now I'm building God a house. I can't do this.

But I ain't had no man in the house to show me how to be a

husband. I can't do this, so now I'm just

going to read a book and make up how to be a husband.

I'm not a love like Christ did. My daddy walked away.

My Mama was abused. Her father passed when I was

one. What are you talking about?

I grew up in the hood. I grew up where homicide was

high. I grew up where Mamas was on

crack, sold to them by their kids.

I grew up in disadvantages. I don't know how to do this.

And you come and and with that boldness and that honesty, and

then watch how God takes that man.

I'm not proud of my family. I'm not proud of what my daddy

did to my mom. I'm not proud.

That hurts. How long are you going to callus

yourself and just keep on wrapping yourself up and with

fig leaves and and keep on acting like you got it together

instead of crying out to God like God, I need thee and there

ain't no better place to do it. You can't do it at work.

You might get fired. You can't do it in the grocery

store. They might put you in the mental

institute. The one place you can live and

be broken is the House of God. That's what the father's house

supposed to be, where his children come home and they

drink from the fountain and they be healed and they be made

whole. It starts with your cry and

sometimes they start with the men.

We carry so much and you want to walk around and try to act like

to your sons and to your wife you got it all together.

Nothing more powerful than a son watching his father broken

before the Lord. My son, my, I was getting ready

this morning and I was putting my stuff on and I was squirting

my Cologne and, and, and, and I walked past Mike and, and Pastor

Dylan was downstairs and Mike was just lingering in the bath

in, in, in the, in the, in my bedroom.

And I and I was about to say, and I think the Lord shut my

mouth, but I was about to say, man, can you give me some room?

And soon as I walked past me, the Lord said He's watching you

and. Then like 2 minutes later he's

like dad can I get some Cologne? You best believe if he paying

attention to me put on Cologne, paying attention to paying

attention to the music I'm listening to and to the praise

that I'm listening to and he's seeing me FaceTime his mom

seeing us distant was seeing us figure this out and my my mic is

feeling. It too, and just a little over a

year. Sister goes, then his brother

goes. It's a lot.

For him, he wrote a song about it.

I'm like, boy, he's talking about man.

All this stress I'm under, I'm like, boy, what you stressed out

about? It was a really good song.

He had backup singers in the SSK.

He was like, he recorded it, he made a beat.

Everything. Where you get that from?

He watching, He in the studio, he watching, he's seeing us make

music. He watching these hours.

They're seeing us sacrifice and give at the same time.

I could discipline them and they love them.

He's watching and quite frankly, it is the discipline and it is

the correction that that that that builds the bridge for him

to pay attention to the love that I have for God.

If I was his buddy and if I was just letting him get away with

whatever and I was in there. No, no, no, no.

There's this straight line that's very clear what it looks

like to be a man in this Dark World.

He's been, he's been he's walked in and heated conversation

wisdom sessions. He's he's, he's what he we share

the life. I'm not so much his dad that I

don't set him up to be his person that God created him to

be. But it starts with my praise.

It starts with my praise, right? And it's OK to be broken and say

I I was just I was just raised by tough dad.

But that's what I thought of man.

That's my default. The ladies that didn't have a

father in the house or you had a dad, but they didn't represent

the heart of God, they represented the heart of mammon.

They provided for you. They gave you a safe home.

You never starved. You had clothes for school.

But what every kid needs, man, is they need an example of what

it looks like to be a son and a daughter before a mother and a

father. In what what's happening is we

don't have parent. They're so busy parenting their

kids don't see them sunning and daughtering.

Ain't it funny how how you got a son and a daughter but you so

parent? What if we raised our sons and

daughters to be sons and daughters, not raise them to be

responsible adults? What pressure on our kids?

But boy, my little son see his daddy having fun dancing around.

He's like, oh, when I'm grown, I don't lose kid because I always

got a father. When when I'm grown, I don't

lose. Right, right.

Like, like, like we're scary to want to be an adult because it

looks like life gets really serious and really boring and

just work and vacations. But it doesn't.

You don't see too many parents. That's just in the joy of the

Lord, like David, just in the field, just like, and everybody

in here has danced before. Everybody has clapped.

But then you come around better dancers.

Now you can pair in your praise. No, we need you to be off beat.

building next door. So I told you a couple weeks

ago, work has stopped. Then within a week, I think it

was like 75 grand came in. Within a week and a half work,

they started back work and we're. 75.

Away and I'm not. Listen, I'm not.

We we cannot let the. Work, stop.

This is on us. This first building is on us.

OK and there's been people faithful I'm not begging you,

I'm compelling you to partner with the Lord whatever you can

do everywhere where that now look, this is 75 grand to be

done with the second phase. What does that second phase

include? You will walk over there and you

will see the whole building lit up.

It's everything electrical and everything they did before

electrical, plumbing, all of that.

But we're the electrical is the last thing before drywall and

all that stuff. Once this part is done, then

you're looking at several weeks before that work is done.

Like we're right at the finish. Line, we're right at the finish

line and, and, and, and there's people in here that can dig deep

and invest in something that is going to eternally.

Be on your. Account souls equipping the

church. I'm really not begging you, I am

presenting. You.

One of the greatest opportunities of your life to be

a part of OK. And so there's ways to give

right here. And I'm believing this week at

bare minimum. I'm always believing for.

It all. But at bare minimum, half will

come in over the next few days. Amen.

Do not count yourself out, OK? Maybe you can't give 70. 5

grand. Maybe you can give $0.75.

I guess what $0.75 is. It's a seed.

Amen. Put your hand on your neighbor's

shoulder. Tell your neighbor.

I believe in you. Tell your neighbor.
