Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International

Church Podcast, where we seek to love all nations, equip the

church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.

We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever

you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get

your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe

some tea, and get ready to receive.

It's go time. Let's get into it.

Yeah, No, I'm not. You know what I'm saying No, the

like the the creator of the heavens of the earth is here and

he's ready to do something. Luke, Luke put up Luke 2432

God desires the same thing he desired in the first experience

for the second experience. And if I know this is a crazy

analogy, it's not like this holy analogy.

So if it if it shakes you a little bit, I apologize, but.

If you go, if you. And if you intentionally go to a

restaurant that sells nothing but chicken, you probably don't

expect to leave with what chicken, right?

So you have to come to a point where you stop coming to church

and don't leave with transformation.

That's that's all that's at church.

Where where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is.

You, you and I got to stop. Going into the church house,

encountering Jesus and leave the same now.

Now mind you, you can have increased knowledge and stay the

same, but new information could make you feel like you've

changed just because you know something you know more.

You're like, oh, I didn't know that right You, That's an

encounter. At bare minimum, an encounter

can be left at I left church knowing something I didn't know

before, or I read a scripture I didn't even know was in the

Bible. So you walk away like I learned

something today, but there is nothing that God teaches or

reveals for you to merely just learn something.

You should lead to transformation, Bible says they

said to one another. Were not our hearts greatly

moved? Somebody say moved and burning,

say burning within us while he was talking with us on the road

and as he opened and explained to us the sense of the

Scriptures. Right.

He, he, he, he, He opened the scriptures and he made it plain.

What I can say at this? This church is we make it as

plain as possible and relatable without compromise and

practical. Try to weave in as many 2025

stories as possible. Try to share my life, be

vulnerable. We we, we try to do it all.

He, he made sense of the Scriptures.

But I want to go back, they said to one another.

Were not our hearts greatly moved?

If you enter the presence of God, you should be greatly

moved. Now I think.

What's very hard for really smart people to do is to

approach the scriptures ignorant because you already have trouble

being OK not knowing, because you pride yourself on how smart

and brilliant you are and how educated you are.

And you can't approach the scriptures that way.

You have to approach the scriptures like even if it's a

scripture you've read 100 times, you have to approach it as a

newborn every time. If God is going to reveal

something to you that is going to move you greatly, you have to

approach Him every time with a hunger.

To know and watch when we put a. Scripture up there that you've

read before, there's going to be this relaxation.

Like, let's be honest, I've done it before.

I've read a scripture very quickly that I've read before.

I've skimmed through it. It's almost like John 316 is not

worth reading. But if you go to John 316 and

spend some intentional time and it's like, I know it by heart,

but I don't know what that love means or I don't know what that

means. When God say He loved the world,

what does that mean if you don't really allow the word to?

Minister to you, it won't move you past the last move and I

don't want to waste my time or yours.

So 100% the word of God. Has planned and the presence of

God has planned that 100% of the people leave different your your

lack of change is your choice, no one else's, not God's or the

devil's. And you and I have to ask

ourselves at some point with all the word we're getting or any

word. Why haven't it seeped into that

part of my life like. You can be very.

Intentional right now and say God, today's word number one.

I wanted to I wanted to change something you feel needs to be

changed. I wanted to minister in the area

I might have a blind spot in, but also, God, I direct the Word

to this dead spot in my life. Lord, I direct the Word today to

this anger issue. Lord, I direct the Word today to

this insecurity. Lord, I direct the Word to this

orphan spirit. I directed like you have to be

intentional. You just don't come to church

and see your brothers and sisters in Jesus like all we got

is chicken here. You got at least and leave with

some grease on you like, but just like like I'm I'm this is a

this is an Apostolic burden that there is way too many people

coming to church week after the week, week after week,

struggling with the same issues. So before we get, before we open

our mouth and speak to you, you have to ask this man, why am I

still stuck there when God has revealed this to me?

So his word should move you, it should advance you, it should

mature you, it should grow you. And he says, and it burns like,

like, can God create a furnace in your heart?

Because. I don't know about you, but

like, I don't want to. I don't want to follow anything

that keeps me dry, and some of your dryness is not because

God's not on fire, He is fire all consuming.

I believe the word today should move you should challenge you,

and my prayer is that there is a some type of burning that

happens in your heart, even if it's just a little ember, but

something ignites you to at bare minimum evaluate yourself times

out for taking the church, let alone Jesus in vain.

The church is the great aside from Jesus, the church, which is

his body, his bride, is the greatest gift to the world.

And and we we walk with so much awe and honor walking into steak

houses. Like, think of how we dress when

we go. Out oh, the steak house.

Get your best fit, go out on a date, get there's places we walk

around with Ah and then we come to the House of God, like yes,

home. But there's a posture that we

come with that's like, I'm walking into the House of God

and I am ready to contribute to someone's change, and I am ready

to be changed by someone else's contribution.

And as we sit in this room, there's enough accumulative

power to radically impact not just your life, but there's

enough power in this room to change generations.

So, Lord, I pray that we give you the space to move us, but

that we even see Your word as something so special.

A part of you changing us, or part of your Word changing us is

how we view your Word. If your Word to us is just mere

rich literature, and we don't see the Word as your life, the

Word became flesh. So the same Jesus we worship in

humanity is the same Jesus. We're reading today.

So may we quickly. Fix our eyes and our hearts and

our minds on the value of. Being able to read.

Truth and experience that men and women died for to get to us.

May we not listen in vain and casually.

May we understand as you have anointed and since your

servants, we are hearing from our Father today and the Father

shows up to do one thing, bless his children.

So I thank you, we have ears to hear.

Thank you that we are free from error, both speaking and hearing

and error. And Lord, for those that aren't

as familiar with you, may you anoint me.

Anoint us to speak in a way that even the youth can understand

it. Anoint me to communicate

practically as Jesus did. The Kingdom is like you.

You wasn't dumbing down the word, you actually cared about

us understanding. So I pray today that the word

becomes unlocked and the word lacks confusion today, that we

could just get it as Paul prayed.

I pray that you illuminate eyes of our hearts today so that we

can walk out of this place with an inner encounter, something

that will push us closer to you as our Father, not merely our

provider. Father, reveal your heart to

your children. Jesus name.

Let's sing a little bit of this mighty war.

Breath of Heaven, Breath of thin.

Now this sounds very sounds like I'll bring your name.

I'll bring in your paper. I'll see you do it.

I'll see you do it. I'll see you do it.

I'll see. You do it.

I can be seated right? You, you.

You ever have somebody that's trying to encourage you or have

you ever said to yourself, man, you know, whatever I put my mind

to, I could do it? A few people, you ever try to

encourage them? Like man, whenever you put your

mind to it or, or do you know somebody like that?

It's like it almost seems like they could do anything as long

as they put their mind to it. Yes, I just need a few.

Yep, Yep, Yep, Yep, Yep, Yep, Yep, Yep.

But like, when's the last time? Because this is what the Bible

telling us. When you put your mind to God

who can do anything, when you fix your mind on the God of the

impossible, anything is possible.

But then in your carnality you will tell yourself anything I

put my mind to I could do it. Some of y'all can accomplish so

much and the enemy doesn't bother you in that area, but

when it comes to you becoming the son or daughter God has

called you to be, where's that same mind that you put to the

test to do anything? Where's that same mind?

Some of y'all in here can get wealth.

You didn't got diplomas, you didn't started businesses.

Because you put your mind to it. You got married because you put

your mind to it. You imagine a family with

children and a husband and a wife and because you put your

mind to it. And then when you finally got

it, you was like, oh God, why did I put my mind to it?

Because the very thing that I thought about and imagined and

desperately pursued and grind about and had grit about is the

very thing I live in now. And then you struggle stick,

taking that same principle when it comes to the Lord.

What if you took that same energy and got in the Word?

What if you took that same energy and dealt with those

thoughts of yours and those the sin of yours or those

insecurity? What if you attacked your

bondage in the whatever you put your mind to?

What if he was like, man, if I put my mind in my freedom, I

could be free. Yet that same mind that got you

that business is that same mind that can get you broken off that

lust. Yeah, we've been dealing with

this crying out. And as I said before, it's like

we think of crying out as when we're sad, when trauma happens

and when bad things happen we cry.

But but man, the real cry out is a a need.

For God, a realization that I need God.

And not just any God, I need Yahweh, I need Jehovah, I need

LL yon, I need the creator of the heavens and the earth that

that's who I need. And I desperately need you every

day, every hour. I need thee.

But then that cry out also is is my grata.

It's the the voice of my Thanksgiving.

Through the good, he's good. Through the bad, he's good.

Through the worst, he's good. Through the storms, he's good.

Through the the sun, he's good. When it's up, he's good.

When it's down, he's good. In the valley, he's good.

On the mountain top, he's good. He is always good.

I cry out because he's good. I cry out because I need him,

can't live without him, can't do nothing that I'm called to do

without him. I can't father without him.

I can't husband without him. I can't pastor without him.

I can't entrepreneur without him.

And I'm not talking about I keep a daily dose of His word.

I'm talking about a life of following and obeying and

responding to pressure in God like fashion.

I'm talking about Him consuming my life, not having the word as

a crutch, something not having the word as something I'm

affiliated with versus something I am made by.

Some of you are affiliated with the word, you Christian, but has

the word made you? Has it made your responses?

Has it made your temper? Has it transformed your nature?

Has it gotten into your conversation?

Has it gotten into your mind? Has the word interrupted your

anxiety? How has the word shaped you and

made you? Because for sure you don't

disagree. It saved you.

You used it for that Bible calls just living epistles.

And as I say, men like if we have more people cry out, we see

less mental illness, You go. Cry out to a counselor, they

give you some medications and you're like, whoa.

But then you're not happy with the side effects.

But what if you took that same energy, got some Christian

counseling? Let's take it deeper.

Some spirit LED counseling. Why you need spirit LED

counseling? Because some of it is just a

demon, right? You don't need to just rehearse.

It's good you've detected where the trauma came from.

It's good you can recite. Oh, when I when I got raped,

this happened to me. OK, now what medication coping

mechanisms for for a bondage that wasn't there until uncle.

So if bondage can come, then bondage can go.

So now, so now there's this billion and trillion dollar

industry that is making money off a lack of deliverance.

I'm, I'm not, I'm not Listen, I am not saying that mental

illness is not real. Everybody got a form of some

crazy in them. But we've all made mental

illness about crazy here. Here's a mental illness.

Indecisiveness. OK, here's a mental illness.

Sex addiction. Here.

Here's another mental illness. Secrecy.

Here's another mental illness. Just how we handle food.

Here's another mental illness. You notice how you pick up the

phone and you scroll without even knowing?

We there now. Here's another mental illness,

but they ain't got no medication for they're not going to do

identity crisis. You don't even know who you are.

That's a mental problem, right? Let's not go so extreme that we

can't even see how it's in the practical.

You're like, well, I don't got schizophrenia, OK?

I don't smoke crack. I smoked weed, but I didn't

smoke crack. Guess what?

Weed was enough for me. Clearly weed wasn't enough for

the crackhead. Some people don't do crack or

weed, they do alcohol. Some people don't do alcohol,

they do other stuff. Some people sniff paint.

Like what are you talking about? We got to go all the way extreme

because if we go extreme then no, I don't.

I don't. I don't really need to because

it's easier to say I'm not that. Oh well.

Well, I don't murder nobody. I just slapped her.

What? You, You, you, you, you just.

Hit some, you just hit a woman, you just hit somebody.

Domestic violence, murder, same prison.

They they don't got slapped, jailed.

They don't got slapped, jailed. Same, same jail, depending on

what jurisdiction you in you, you fool around, get, get, get

life being in getting in prison that many times.

But when we make it here, here's the here's here's the here's why

we make stuff extreme so we can't see ourselves as a

problem. Oh, I just drink a little bit.

I'm not an alcoholic like my daddy was but you also ain't

getting it out your bloodline like your daddy didn't and

because you keeping it alive in your bloodline, watch your

daughter or your son be the addict your daddy was

comparison. It also hides you from the

reality of your toxicity. So we, we should be crying out

more. You don't know how bad you need

your local church. You don't know how bad you need

midweek service, right? You don't.

You don't know how bad you need to come to the altar.

You don't know how bad you need to serve.

You don't. You don't really know.

And most of the time, what prompts us to get right is bad.

Get fired from your job you like hey, I'm put me, I'll serve

wherever I got nothing but time now wait, why you got nothing

but time now? But when you got the job, God

bless you with you all of a sudden don't got no time.

But now you got you lost the job and now you got time.

And that's when the wise pastor going to say no, This is time

for you to get discipled. Because you can't hide behind

serving either. Serving should have been your

first option, not your response to lack.

Now you serving to sew instead of serving to just.

This is Father's business now you serving because you sewing

for something. Yeah, so to really cry out is

like it signifies the willingness to trust in God's

power. Don't worry.

It's no, it's not a slide. So don't don't worry.

We'll get there. The trust in God's power and

provision even in the midst of suffering.

I love this, EJ, even in the midst of suffering, which lets

you know that crying out is not just when you're going through

it. Crying out is a practice.

And here's the here's the truth about it is you should probably

get more practice crying out when it ain't nothing wrong

because sometimes you don't want to hear nobody tell you the Lord

gone. It's going to be all right,

baby. Have faith.

You don't want a faith talk sometime when you down.

The only way David can encourage himself when he's going through

it is because he encouraged himself when he was.

Some of us are trauma. We are we.

We are trauma responders. We respond to God when we are in

trouble. That can't be.

We have to cry out and not spaz out.

We got to cry out and not. Pass out.

We got to cry out and not complain out.

We got to cry out and not bail out.

We got to cry out and not give out.

We got to cry out and not run out.

We got to cry out and not offend out.

We got to cry out and not burn out.

I guess this is for this experience.

There is there's something I wrote down this morning.

There is a group of people. Who?

Because, and they need you to listen very carefully.

There is a group of people in here that because you have kept

the faith and you have kept the hope and you have not given up

on God, there's a part of you that feels like you ain't went

through nothing. That's worth believing for the

promise to the Endurer. Here's the power of faith.

There's faith will have you feeling.

Like at times, you ain't enduring nothing like you,

you've overcome. Like you don't feel it the same

way as people who don't walk by faith.

Like, like, like for a person whose hope has not deferred.

You don't feel the valley like someone whose hope deferred.

The person who has gotten up from their depression and is

choosing to walk with a smile, to encourage others instead of

searching to be encouraged. The one who is speaking faith

when they need faith spoken to them.

But you'll never know it because they're not complaining.

Their posture looked like they got it all together.

Sometimes it's hard for that person to look at.

They've endured something. So you will lack the

intentionality in believing for the promise because it almost

feels like you making it through with joy is the promise and and

that is and that's why your breakthrough's going to even be

more explosive because you didn't wait for the breakthrough

to trust God, have joy to keep enduring to serve just because

you kept the faith. Here it is.

And you practice joy you. Practice joy so tough people

thought you really had it. They didn't know you was

actually depressed, but you chose joy.

They didn't know you actually was suffering with anxiety, but

you chose peace. Here's what the Bible says.

I leave you peace. It's the peace the world can't

give you. This is a peace that transcends

all understanding, which means, oh, I could be dealing with

anxiety, but I can choose to let the peace of God protect me and

lead me and guide me. See where you mess up is you

think because you feel anxious, you don't have peace.

You don't have it because you don't choose it.

See, here's the piece of God that you could choose to receive

and put on the World Peace. You got to get something in

order to experience it, like to experience joy.

I got to I got to be celebrated or I got to go to a ball game or

I got to go on a vacation. But but I can live in.

In, in, in, in a continent, in this world, in extreme poverty

and have a joy. How we got 95% more than a whole

lot of people on this earth and they've tapped into a joy that

we can't even scratch. Oh, that's, that's the piece,

That's the joy that you choose to put on.

How do I choose it? Because he left it for me.

I don't. I don't got to wait for joy

every two weeks. Thank God it's Friday, I can

finally breathe on on Friday. 5 days you weren't breathing.

So. So you mean to say that you

allowed Saturday to be way more? Fun than Monday through Friday.

You wasn't enjoying life till Saturday.

And then for some of us like Dang, but I got to go to church

and work on Sunday. So you got one day, one day that

you really enjoy. You let your hair down one day

you're not finding no rest. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,

Thursday, Friday. You ain't living.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

You get up, you wake up, you work, take care of kids, you

cook, you eat, maybe workout. For sure.

Scroll, watch ATV show, go to bed.

Do it again. And then Saturday and then two

days later, that's your life. Sometime I have to remind myself

because I can't say that I've been raised in a family of faith

spiritually, but I also was raised in a family of just grit

because from where I'm from and culturally.

And ethnically, there's a level of of tenacity you need if you

going to make. It out of the statistics that

fence you and your people in so not only spiritual faith, but

also raised by people that was trying to break the chains of

some real life bondage. Not just spiritual bondage, but

real life bondage, right? Generations of fatherlessness,

generations of poverty, generations of ignorance and

lack of education generations. And I see some people who didn't

have that and I'm like, Dang, that's like some churches and

some people, they'll get mad at the prosperity message, not

understanding because you ain't preaching to poverty.

You're you're preaching to people who got tons of money,

who haven't had a care in their life, who ain't got pulled over

by the cops and harassed. They need like you got people in

those kind of situations and God bless you if you didn't have to

deal with certain things. That's not a that's not bad.

That's a blessing. But then understanding how the

gospel hits different cultures and that's why there's a group

of people who are unashamed to cry out and, and, and mess, they

lashes up and they wigs fall off and all that.

And then you'll get around a certain group of people and it's

super passive. And it's like, huh?

And then now we title it and that's the charismatic people.

And that's gospel music and that's CCM and that's, that's

country and and that's Blues and that's the that.

So because you don't understand me, I'm Pentecostal.

I thought the whole New Testament was how, how I'm

Pentecostal, how I'm why you ain't charismatic, right?

So this is huge divide in the body of Christ.

And when we look at the angels crying out, that's what they do

up there. Holy, holy, holy, holy, holy,

holy. That's what they do.

And we literally will go to stadiums and watch our

generation cry out over superstars, pour their emotions

out. And we wonder why this

generation don't want to fool with the church.

Because we ain't excited. You tell me what restaurant you

went to somebody told you about that was and you was like, how

was it? And they was like, it's cool.

Anytime a waitress come to my table and I ask her, hey, how's

how's the carbonara? She's like, I'm like, that's OK,

That's that's OK, that's OK. And that's how our witness is.

It's like, how's it being saved? It's like it's cool.

He's good. I just know when I die, where

I'm going it's. Like, that's it.

And then the world is like, well, I know why I'm living.

I'm turning up. And then we was like, oh, you

demons. And here's the other thing.

The Bible says that a Kingdom divided cannot stand.

And us, we're so divided. And although most of us believe

in the basics. We're arguing over things that

aren't essential. And we've turned on our sails,

we expose each other and then blame it on exposing this and

exposing the Faustat and exposed.

Hey, go tap that man on the shoulder and talk to him.

And don't just bring your scripture, bring your bring

context, but really bring love. And now as believers, we just

hunting for people who we feel is bad and false.

And at the end of the day, for those that really see what kind

of day we're in, instead of exposing each other, ripping the

blankets off of each other, we should probably try to cry out

together and then let God reveal what He wants to reveal.

But if you don't want to worship with me, don't come here and try

to criticize me. You, you can't rebuke me from

skepticism. You, you, because the moment you

come in skeptical, you're not hearing from the Holy Ghost.

As I said this morning is the way we approach the gospel is

I'm here to learn something I've never learned before, but I'm

rooted enough to if something is false that hits my ears, it will

not impact my love. Towards my brother or sister.

Then we have a conversation and I show them, I explain to them,

I give them my context. Because sometimes scripture and

what someone is saying, misunderstanding comes because

they're saying it from their experience.

Like how God has revealed to himself to someone in in in the

absolute ghetto, and how he's revealed himself to someone in

the greatest, fattest parts of White Rock could be totally

different. And now you got White Rock

coming to listen to ghetto sermon and they judge him.

But I like to do it this way. Follow my walk.

Follow your walk and see who walks with Jesus versus walking

with knowledge. I will say the world or the

devil is not killing us, we killing ourselves and as a body

we need intercession more than any.

I encourage you to go listen to this morning so this second-half

makes sense to you. I left last experience with this

statement. My cry is the water the Potter

needs to shape the clay. My cry is the water that the

Potter needs to shape the clay. My cry provides the water the

Potter needs to shape the clay. So I went to the Potter's house

and sure enough, the Potter was there, working away at his wheel

whenever the pot the Potter was working on turned out badly, as

sometimes it happens. When you are working with clay,

but Potter would simply start over and use the same clay to

make another pot. Here it is.

Watch this, watch this. Don't go, don't go, watch this,

watch this. I love this part you guys.

Sometimes it says the Potter was working on or whenever the pot

the Potter was working on turned out badly.

Here's a very important part for you as sometimes working with

frail humans, the clay gets messed up.

So sometime in our attempt to walk this thing out, guess what,

the clay gets messed up. But to you snarly Christians who

want to put your finger on somebody, watch what my father

does. I don't know about yoga, but

watch what my father does. The Potter would simply while

you are dealing harshly, he simply while you're throwing me

away, he's simply using the same clay to make another pot.

And that's why no matter how much you've tried to sabotage

purpose, God's like I can still use you as I think one of the

statements we left off with last service is your emotions are an

offering. And you walk in here trying to

be tough and act like you got this life all together and you

so strong. And God's.

Like, wow, you just going to come in here and sing a song

then with no heartfelt cry, no heartfelt emotion.

It's just all head. It's all performance.

Purse is like I came in there. Look, if I understand how broken

I am, I ain't got no time to critique you.

I didn't come to church to critique you.

I came to get my bag. I came in here to encounter the

fuck because I messed up so I don't got no time to figure out

if you are doing this right or singing that note right or you

are wearing the right clothes and you you you preaching out

the right translation. The stuff we arguing over is

stupid instead of realizing man if if God don't help me in this.

Situation. And I'm not talking about

getting me out of situation. I'm a good dad.

And guess what? I need God to be a good dad

today because kids is kids. I'm a good husband, but I need

God to be a good husband today and tomorrow because marriage is

marriage and human is human is flesh is flesh.

So I need, I need, I need, I need, I need God in every

situation. So I'm evolving into who He's

called me to be. Some of us we don't evolve

because we don't involve God all the time.

Everybody in here is here at a certain measure of growth from

when God first touched you. Why you stop letting him touch

you? How did you have encounter to

get saved now you got educated. It was the Spirit that brought

you to the Father. Now you going to maintain your

salvation through nothing but head knowledge.

I love my father. Simply start over.

Oh, you messed up there. We can simply start over and use

it. Here it is.

We going to start over. But we use it in the same clay.

I love it. He don't throw nothing away, he

just reshapes. You.

He just reshaping you and I love it.

He's using all the components and that's why I said like like

there is nothing bad in your past that does not have value

for good for y'all that's trying to throw away your past.

No, God's like give me that like like if I just use how good you

are now that's a boring testimony.

Like like I couldn't be like the scripture couldn't read and now

I see no, I need to know you was blind, right?

I can't just show up found. Wait a minute.

I need to know I was lost. Now I'm found, right?

back up. Like I need to know the story.

I needed to see the Egyptians and I needed to see God's

children and I needed to see the tension.

What movie? It's just good the whole way

right? You need the bad guy.

You need the good one. You need a story plot.

Your past is a part of the testimony.

The Potter is why I cry out, because I'm I still understand

that God you, if you didn't turn that to good, if you didn't turn

my lack of education, if you didn't turn my stupidity.

If you didn't. If you didn't turn that that

that that idolatry. If you didn't turn that sin into

something beautiful. If you didn't.

Turn those ashes, see, So I don't need trauma to cry out.

I don't. I don't need bad kids to cry

out. I don't need divorce to cry out,

said. Then God's message came to me.

Can I do just as this Potter does?

Is God talking? People of Israel, God's decree?

trying to get to an end of a of a piece of art.

You're not just a piece of art. Then you go over to Italy and

you see art, and that art speak to you.

It make you feel away. Any peace that God finishes it

should make humanity feel away. So sometimes this is going,

you're going to slip out his hand and sometimes you're going

and he's working it no matter how.

And somebody, OK, we're going to start over saying Clay, same

story, same frustrations. You wondering why God ain't just

snatched it from you. You wonder why he ain't just

healed you from it. He's like, no, no, no, that's a

part of the that's a part of the pottery.

No, that imperfection you want me to take is an imperfection

that's going to make the pot communicate to another life and

say, oh, wow, you made that. Have you ever seen just just

freakish creatives and you like you made that out of that you

just grabbed a piece of wood in the back and made that beautiful

shelf that witnesses so when we come to him, understand that

your insufficiency insufficiencies and frailties he

wants. Them and when you understand

that your cry is not based on hitting bottom.

At any moment I may decide to pull up a people or country by

the roots and get rid of them, but if they repent or if they

cry out of their wicked life lives, I will think twice and

start over with them if my people who were called by my

name would humble themselves. Your cry is a fruit of your

repentance. There's three things that your

cry represents. 3 things. Number one, your cry is

evidence. Your cry is evidence.

been sustained by the Potter. I've been sustained by the

What kept my grandma and what kept my Mama, and what kept them

rooted and what kept them going. What kept them fighting For

generations they've been sustained by the Potter.

my superpower. I dare you to read the Bible

front to back, even skim through it just Google and see how much

cry, rejoice, call those things pop up in the Bible.

I'll tell you this, they pop up more than the word hell does or

she'll. Why, why why is God constantly?

Compelling his people to cry out, call out.

It's my superpower, he says. That I've been shaped by the

I need you to pay close attention.

It says that I've been sent by the Potter.

Here it is the fact that I came out on the other side of the

valley. Number one says I came out

victorious, but there's nothing. God is not bringing you through

without an assignment to send you to that deliverance wasn't

for free for all for all the for all the What do you call it when

people just. Leech off of, you know, all the

people who get delivered and don't think they got to live for

God, don't think they got to correct how they talk for God,

don't think they got to stop rolling their eyes at people,

don't think they got to stop gossiping for God.

Man, if he delivers you, you can at least stop gossiping, all

right? Stop messing with somebody.

I've been sustained by the Potter.

Watch this, for by what shall it be known that I and your people

have found favor in your sight? Is it not in your going with us

so that we are here? It is distinguished I and your

people from all the other people.

Up on the face of the earth, remember, my cry is my evidence,

so I can conclude that if Moses is concerned about God going

with. Him.

Once he is sent, he will continue to need God.

So as he goes, if his concern is I'm not going unless you go with

me, it lets me know that when he goes, he will continue to depend

on God. And guess who's going to see

that? The people.

My dependency on God is evidence that he has sustained me.

to His people without a revelation to know that He is

Silencing yourself when God seems absent is just as equally

damaging as doubting God when I only can confess his goodness

through, they still had a testimony about God's goodness.

Holy Spirit, the work which his presence within account.

You see that you see the Potter's hand on you.

That's the Holy Ghost. He's the hand of the Father.

important. Than trying to prove to y'all, I

no hands on me or my family or some other people right?

It's it's, it's like I as a believer, I'm going to protect.

But some of the stuff we get in arguments about and we for what?

Oh, you're not preaching? OK, sure, believe it.

Whatever. Don't come here.

Like that's fine. I don't got to.

Prove nothing to you. But if it was back in the day,

on the flip side, my insecurity would have been like, hold on,

can we get some coffee so I can tell you what I meant?

I don't care. I don't care if if if I'm not

called to you. I don't care what you think I

meant. Right, Jesus wasn't walking

around trying to explain himself to everybody and he says some

stuff that that even his followers was tripping on like

what? But when God, the fruit of the

spirit is something that happens when the Potter, this is what I

love. This is this, this is not a

fruit you produce. This is a fruit you allow to be

produced. This is you don't get this fruit

from being good. You get this fruit from being

obedient and steal. You get this fruit from shutting

up and letting him. Fight your enemies.

You, you get, you get, you get this fruit from when you want to

cuss somebody out, you want to do a drive by, you want to do

whatever and you go and drop, you do a drive by gift drop off.

You just you bless your enemy with a gift, right?

But but hey, that's a superpower.

You, you, you become my delicious feast even when my

enemies dare to fight. You anoint me with the fragrance

of your Holy Spirit. You give me all I can drink of

you until my cup overflows. So why would I fear the future?

Here's the message. Says it this way.

You serve me a six course dinner right in front of my enemies.

You revive my drooping head. My cup brims with blessings for

those of people who, like we only want the King James

Version, or at least have. OK, but look, you prepare a

And then I called him and like she's sitting over there on the

couch. He's studying for his homework,

me and him Facetiming and now she want to talk to me.

On the other. Side so I was ignoring I was

like huh he was like you hear mom?

I was like Nah, I didn't hear what she said she didn't want to

talk she was done so I'm done and yeah I was like is she

talking and want to share it How all of a sudden you got more to

talk about now but when you get married you get tired of talking

to each other. Sometimes you just need silence.

You just need to stop talking, OK?

We talked to each other 10 times.

It's a lot, OK? And so I just laid.

I just laid there and I was just like, yeah, y'all get the more.

Wherever the moral of the story went, y'all get this, Yeah,

Y'all can finish the story. Y'all can finish it up.

Sometime I don't like to bring my stories to a conclusion

because I wanted to reach more people.

OK lastly, my cry is my victory song.

I've I've I've been sent by the Potter.

I will tell you I have not been sent to Canada because I have a

dry Christianity. I believe that one of my

greatest purposes here is to be an example of what being a kid

before the Lord looks like in my mistakes, in my trying to figure

it out, in my clumsy parts of leadership, in sharing my like

stories. Like then you don't really hear

those stories from the pulpit, just stuff about kids struggle.

You don't hear that stuff, but the vulnerability is trying to

give you a glimpse at like. From if I have a slide up.

There, and the word is misspelled.

I'm not like just like, yeah, this anointed man misspells

words. I know how to spell it.

I was auto corrected, OK, or I was rushing.

But the point is it's like we have created this this space

where. The only people up here is the

people that figured it out. And when I read the word, God

didn't pick people who figured it out.

He actually picked people that was bold enough and courageous

enough to say, wow, God the Potter is working on me.

I want. You to see a few times how he

just, I can't make that bowl, I can't make that pot.

But you see me stay in his hands.

And if you stick around long enough, you're going to see the

finished product, right? And that's what God needs more

of in leadership. It's just like when we bring pro

athletes into schools, it's always the ones who had a

career. What about the ones who started

and got cut or didn't make it or Blue Day money?

Those stories will save more people than only bringing in

Steph Curry. More people would be disciples

if they were discipled by people that got some and not.

No wonder the father picked a Paul and not a Peter.

Oh oh why Paul is like I'm the only one that didn't walk with

Jesus. But I'm the one that got the

most ink. So you can see a murderer, you

can see where I was, you can see you want to talk mental illness,

not only what it takes to kill someone, but what it takes to

just look at the dead body, what it takes to look at the families

who are. Crying, the children that are

screaming at their fathers being stoned, the trauma not just to

the family inflicted, but the trauma that must be going on in

the heart and the mind of the murderer.

And you mean you go, let's let's not just apostle Paul sick.

Paul gets to a place like that, that quick, that quick.

How quick God changed his heart and how quick God changed his

mind, that encounter with Jesus. And we're preaching.

And that's the part we forget when we're approaching people

with the Scriptures. We forget who wrote it.

We we want to put apostle in front of a pastor and teacher

and we forget man, that man's mind.

If he did not cling to Jesus after his transformation, what

would these letters look like? What we even get them?

But he shared his vulnerability. The man that wrote to us was not

the man who could boast about how he hung out with Jesus every

day. He he didn't take 2.

Fish and five loaves. He didn't see a Red Sea part.

This is a man who was murdering and on his way to murder got

knocked off. Few days later he filled with

the Holy Ghost, brand new eyes, can see color again and he gets

around some people, he gets discipled.

And to this day, but that's not what we put in front of people.

And I think if we had more. Paul's willing to share their

soul. Jesus couldn't make disciples.

From being Christ alone, Jesus had to make disciples.

From experiencing all that we experienced, Paul had to be

Saul. Don't take what God is bringing

you from and keeping you from for granted.

The letters that you are writing every day through your obedience

or lack thereof, someone will read them.

And I don't know about you, but I want my life to read how

Paul's is reading today. And I'm not going to hide that I

was a murderer because Apostle Paul couldn't write those

letters without being solved. But my cry out is my victory

song. Here it is.

Then Moses and the Israelites sang the song to God, giving

voice together. I'm singing my heart out to God.

What a victory this is on the other side of the Red Sea.

He pitched horse and rider into the sea.

God is my strength, God is my song, and yes, God is my

salvation. This is the kind of God I have.

And I'm telling the world this is the God of my Father.

I'm spreading the news far and wide.

Remember on the other side they were crying.

They were afraid they were about to lose their lives.

So you cry out for God when you in trouble.

But then on the other side of the trouble, can he still get

the same intensity? You see, David, David prayed to

God, the words of this song after God saved him from all his

enemies and from Saul. God is bedrock under my feet,

the castle in which I live, my rescuing night, my God, the the

high crag where I run for dear life, hiding behind the

boulders, safe in the granite hideout, my mountain, my

mountaintop refuge. He.

Saves me from ruthless man. I sing or I cry, or I rejoice,

or I call to God the praise lofty, and find myself safe and

saved. See, in my distress I cried out

to you, the delivering God, and from your temple throne you

heard my troubled cry, and my sobs went right into your heart.

I think This is why David is the David we know.

It's because he wasn't afraid to be broken before the Lord.

He wasn't glorifying his sin. He had a revelation.

That man, what you have done for me and he also did not let his

sin steal the vision nor the desire to build God a house,

even knowing he couldn't be the one to build.

It some of you, God is delivering you just to simply

hand the vision off. I know that's not too popular

because you want to be a part of all of it.

Some stuff God is saving you for us to hand something off.

Not be the maker of it. Not be the founder.

Can God trust you with a vision for a business?

For someone else? Don't allow your monetary

comfort to keep your soul in solitary confinement because you

are too prideful or timid to cry out.

Don't block your life of a rich soul treasure that can only be

retrieved and experienced through the cry out.

Now end with this Psalm 118. Thank God because he's good,

right? Just thank God because he's good

because his love never quits. Tell the world Israel tell the

world love quest his love never quits.

And you, clan of Aaron, tell the world his love never quits.

And. You who fear God, join in.

Just join in His. I love this.

Because they're still. This is what all of heaven is

singing even right now. His love never quits.

So he tells us, join in. His love never quits.

Pushed to the wall. I called to God, I cried to God,

I sobbed to God. I rejoiced to God.

I sang to God from the wide open spaces.

He answered. God's now at my side and I'm not

afraid. Who would dare lay a hand on me?

God, my strong champion. I flick off my enemies like

flies. Far better to take refuge in God

than trust in people. Far better to take refuge in God

than the trust in celebrities hemmed in by Barbarians.

In God's name I rub their faces in the dirt.

You see, my cry out is based on my memory, not based on my now.

Right now, if we was in a funeral, you'll hear all kind of

crying out. So what we do is we cry out only

when something pains us. Don't know.

But all you need to do is get bad news.

Nobody got to stir you up. So how can you quickly respond

to bad news with emotion? But when it comes to good news,

you got to be pumped up. Now I want you to just check

what is that inside of us that we're so casual to good news.

But to bad news, if you got a phone call that your father

passed right now, you would hit the floor.

You will say I got to go because it's so bad, but this news ain't

so good. This news don't bring you to

your feet without a band getting big and excited and people

singing and you getting stirred up.

We got to stir up your emotions to remember his goodness.

And you wonder why in some parts of the world they see revival.

I don't know about you man, but I don't want to have to live in

extreme poverty to be desperate. That's the problem in some parts

of the world. With the church, we got to be

stirred up all the time. We don't live with the

revelation on our mind and in our lips.

This is it. Is it too hot?

Is it cold? Is it?

Raining. Is it snow?

No, I'm pretty good, right? We're reasoning.

I don't feel like shouting. We did that early.

We got some good worship in. I'm good, but the angels cry.

Holy, holy, holy. I didn't die.

I live and and and and and here's and here's and here's the

thing. It's what we what we make praise

about is if I feel like praising, right?

And then sometime when you get bad news here it is you

overreact when you going to. Overreact to the word What,

what, what what's going to hurt you?

But boy, good news don't really get like, unless it's like self

like somebody call you right now like I want to donate to you

$1,000,000. You act a fool.

It's worthy to praise, right? But man, when you was here,

right? If we got real graphic, like if

we got real about it, when you was opening your legs, when you

was laying down with her, when you was drunk, when you was

high, when you was all those different things, you were you.

Yeah, right. You, you was, you either cried

out or you was acting a fool in your foolishness then now God

brought you out of it. I don't know about you, but when

I partied, I partied, I drank, I smoked, I sinned.

My mind was sinful. It didn't, I didn't turn sand

off. But man, we, we do.

We'll turn off some praise. And does this mean we're running

around all the time? I'm talking about the Spirit in

the room. Why so many churches have to

perform acrobats or we're just totally dead too.

And then we called that stirring up manipulation.

And it's really not. It's biblical.

Stir it up. It's good news.

When's the day we can read something like this?

I didn't just pause. Like I shouldn't be able to even

get to the end if you got the revelation.

I didn't die, let alone he's using me.

This is the awe of God, man. I wanted to commit suicide, but

I didn't die. And so now I'm telling the world

what God did. And here's for some of you

Christians and some of you, you think 'cause you up here singing

or playing instruments, people, people automatically know that

you, you think God good. Our praise is relentless because

there's somebody that don't get they need to keep seeing this

picture. He says.

Because if I told you, go down the street, turn right, you'll

have one of the best steaks you've ever tasted in your life.

You're going to go down the alley and turn right and go to

the steakhouse. So don't act like because

somebody is encouraging you to do something, you got to be

cautious. Don't have selective obedience

because you'll hop on Yelp in a minute and trust somebody's

testimony about a pancake. House But the Bible is full of

people, men and women, telling us to try God.

Try God, taste this seed, man. He did it for me.

Why is it full of testimonies? Because he's telling us one of

the greatest one. I would say one of the greatest

sermon series I've ever been a part of.

One of the greatest, if not the greatest.

And it wasn't just because of the content back home.

Me and my wife, we were we we at our church, we were youth

pastors, whatever. But our pastor, every Sunday

night he taught on a series on praise.

He's probably like 5-6 months every night.

Sounds super simple, but the simplicity of the revelation of

praising God and when people went after it, it I can say is

one of the sermon series that radically changed my life.

When I understood the power of praise, the power of thanking

God, and it was week after week after week after week after week

after week after week, He's saying week after week and it

what? What was the series about praise

after? Week after week after week after

week after week and after month and after month praise every

every single Sunday night. And it just did something in my

heart when I understood and if I have to pick anything out of the

word to just encourage people to do and be over relationship

goals and all that. Man is the fear of God and to

restore all and wonder in your heart for him.

Praise is wonderful because I don't necessarily have to feel

like it to do it, but when I do it, it'll lead to me feeling

like it. You got to praise your way into

needing to praise God. I'll walk right through and

thank God this temple gate. Belongs to God, so the victors
