Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International
-
Church Podcast where we seek to love all nations, equip the
-
church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.
-
We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever
-
you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get
-
your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe
-
some tea, and get ready to receive.
-
It's go time. Let's get into it.
-
What if I told you or ask you the question?
-
What if what you are blaming as being a season is really a
-
cycle? What if I told you that what you
-
have been blaming on a season is really a cycle?
-
We'll say it one more time and then I'll explain.
-
What if in our Christian talk, rather good or bad, we say it's
-
a what season? We write songs about it.
-
It's a new season, it's a new day, right?
-
Somebody say season, but what if you've been stuck in a cycle and
-
not a season? What's the difference?
-
The only way you get out of a season is time.
-
The only way you get out of a cycle is you change.
-
And here's what I do know is as a believer, one of the dangerous
-
things that we fall into, watch it very carefully.
-
Ever since the world has been given the language, mental
-
illness, or it's like a thing. And you notice we didn't really
-
push people to get healed as much as we push them to feel
-
safe enough to talk about it. And the dangerous?
-
Thing about a believer is as you grow in knowledge you increase
-
your ability to explain your way out of change because you put
-
everything on God or a season or the devil or this too shall
-
pass. But I'm here to tell some of
-
you, some stuff in your life will never pass until you
-
change. Because what I do know is
-
because your increased knowledge of the things of God has put
-
hell on alert that you're no longer ignorant.
-
Therefore, because of the heightened understanding that
-
you are no longer ignorant in an area, he now has to come a
-
different way. Same cycle, different posture,
-
different people. It once was crack.
-
It once was a drug, now it's money.
-
It once was money, now it's the gym.
-
It once was the gym, now it's a healthy diet, right?
-
Long as it's healthy, it's OK. But some of us even idolize our
-
devotional time over being devoted to God.
-
So you think you're close to God because you spend 2 hours a day
-
with Him. But the true fruits of your
-
nearness to God is your obedience to His Word, His
-
principles, and every proceeding word that comes out of.
-
And so you find that we are in. Cycle.
-
This is like somebody that knows how to dress well.
-
You won't be able to tell they wore that twice in a week
-
because they just dressed it different.
-
Same jacket, just black T-shirt. Tomorrow I could wear it with a
-
white collar shirt, different pair of shoes, throw a
-
handkerchief in, same jacket, dress different.
-
And some of you have been stuck in a cycle for a long time.
-
And what I do know about cycles, if I'm thinking about washing
-
clothes or something like that, is that one cycle can stop and
-
it can't, that you can't get to the next cycle sometimes till
-
you restart it. The devil is really good at
-
letting up off you, let you think you've defeated him.
-
It's in the Bible. He did Jesus that way because he
-
said he tried all that he could for that cycle, but he waited
-
around to wait for another opportune time.
-
What was he waiting? For to see if your knowledge
-
will turn into wisdom and your wisdom will turn into obedience.
-
He's like, oh, they're, they're moving different, but they,
-
they, they tweaked God's word a little bit.
-
They serve more, but they're still not doing what God told
-
them. Oh, they're abandoning
-
relationships. Now they have idolized the
-
blessing. Here it is.
-
God says supper time. In other words, God is gathering
-
people to his house. Then all of a sudden you get
-
busy with work, you get busy with a husband or wife.
-
You get busy with new property, you get busy with blessing.
-
And now you get pulled away from tribe.
-
You get pulled away from. And here's what you say.
-
But I'm still good with God. I'm still in my Word.
-
I'm still watching sermons now if we go to the Word.
-
Then what if I come back to you and tell you how important in
-
the last days, Paul warns us about the gathering of the
-
Saints. Not just hanging out with
-
Christians, but gathering with with Christians across the
-
board, but also gathering to the tribe, the tent, the house, the
-
people, the leaders, the voice that he is, the anointing that
-
he, the atmosphere that he has called you.
-
To walk in and one of the attacks of the enemy is to use
-
an overdose of variations of the word to get us drunk with
-
unnecessary knowledge, and unnecessary knowledge can choke
-
out the word that God gave us. You, you, you.
-
So busy taking the word from the house and then crowding your own
-
opinion. AI and all this other stuff
-
around it. Cat GPT Google instead of taking
-
the word, putting it under the lens of the Holy Ghost, getting
-
wise counsel if you got questions, and then allow God to
-
interpret it based on the soil it came out of.
-
Some of us will take a word out of this soil, take it to another
-
house, and ask another house who didn't get that word to
-
interpret it for you so we can appease your little.
-
Itch. We're in a day and time.
-
Man, man, man, man. Separation.
-
Here it is. It's harvest time, no doubt.
-
Woo, we talked about that for a long time, bumper crop, all
-
that. But you know what shows up in
-
harvest time, Darnell, the wheat.
-
I was talking to the team yesterday.
-
What's about to happen in this harvest time is some of y'all
-
while getting blessed, you going to be exposed to some things
-
that you didn't realize was sown in your soil because God says
-
no, no, no, leave Darnell there for when it's harvest time.
-
They both going to sprout up and then we'll cut it away.
-
And some of the stuff you have idolized in this season, you're
-
going to be mad because God is going to cut it away.
-
And the struggle is going to be you trying to hold on to it
-
because God, here it is. Over these last several years,
-
He has been trying to perfect you.
-
And for some of you in the perfecting, you've allowed a
-
seed of offense to get in your heart.
-
You've allowed the Leviathan spirit to bring confusion to you
-
because He chokes the word. You've allowed complacency in
-
you. You've allowed double mindedness
-
in. You've, you've, you've.
-
You've allowed gossip and messiness in, and every time we
-
sow mess, we also allow the enemy to sow something into our
-
hearts. I'm going to be courageous
-
enough to say this, and it's biblical, so go figure it out.
-
The Saints that don't have a shepherd in the last days will
-
have a hard time surviving in the Kingdom of God.
-
The Saints that don't have a shepherd, I didn't say the
-
Saints that don't go to church because there's a lot of you in
-
here that won't let us pastor you.
-
You just want a sermon. It is not the Good Shepherd's
-
will that you walk as sheep without a shepherd and is not
-
good enough to say that's just another man, Jesus my.
-
Shepherd, let me help you. He is, but He gave to us pastors
-
after his heart, prophets after His heart, apostles after his
-
heart, evangelists after he's the one.
-
Laying mantels so when you reject the gifts he put in your
-
life, you're in a form rejecting him while you go home and ask
-
him to speak to you and he going to turn back and say, well, what
-
it what did the pastor that I sent after the prophet say that
-
I sent the event the apostles? What did he say?
-
That's what I said. He said what I said, he did what
-
I did. Here it is.
-
Bible says that Jesus didn't do nothing that he didn't hear the
-
Father say do watch this. Holy Spirit says he didn't say
-
nothing that he didn't hear the Savior say say.
-
You see the order, and I know it's rare to find men and women
-
who walk a life where they're trying to be disciplined so that
-
they only. Say what they hear the Father
-
say. And we are in a generation
-
that's like this. Oh, and then when our ears
-
itching, somebody kind of saying something that like, make my
-
flesh unchallenged, I'll take one finger out.
-
We're in the days where the enemy is going to be so crafty.
-
Pride comes before the what? No, it doesn't.
-
Proverbs 168I believe it is. Let me help you with this and
-
I'm going to move on. You see how quick pride comes
-
before the fall, but if you don't read it carefully, you're
-
going to miss the whole thing. And this is what we're dealing
-
with today. You see how close?
-
To accurate, you can be and be so convicted that that's what
-
it's saying. And then go spread that to
-
somebody else and then build your life on it.
-
You build a. House on something.
-
You better hope it's accurate. It's right.
-
Proverbs 168I believe it is. Is that what it is?
-
Huh. Go, go.
-
Well, you got it. Put it up.
-
Watch this. Watch this.
-
Right, everybody? We were so in Unity and that's
-
what we is. Here it is, here it is.
-
We find Unity around error. What does that say?
-
See how the enemy wants you to read it wrong?
-
Because one, you'll miss God's grace in the Scripture and #2
-
you'll miss the red flags in the scripture.
-
Pride goes before destruction. The difference between
-
destruction and fall. Fall you can what?
-
Get back up. Destruction is over.
-
You got to start over. Pride goes before destruction.
-
So this scripture works backwards.
-
A haughty spirit before fall. Man, I don't need, I don't need
-
PTI, don't need hero. I don't need the church, the
-
local church. Now I could do what I want to
-
do. You just this hottie spirit,
-
like, OK, I receive it now I'm gonna go home and I'm gonna
-
twist it a little bit to my liking or I'm gonna have this
-
little side ministry over here where I get to speak my opinions
-
and I'm gonna I'm gonna do it the way I want it.
-
It's this hottie spirit. Like I got this.
-
I don't, I don't need your wisdom.
-
I don't. It's this hottie spirit.
-
Somebody say hottie spirit. Now watch this, the haughty
-
spirit. There's a grace to allow you to
-
fall, but there's a grace to allow you to what?
-
Get back up. Watch this.
-
Here's pride. God sends warning and pride says
-
I'll be fine. I'll ignore the warning or I'll
-
delay obedience to the warning. The Bible tells or, or or word
-
came. The prophet came a couple years
-
ago. Now God's grace on this house
-
has been magnificent. He has been warning us.
-
He says it's go time, get on the bus time.
-
He said some will make it. You'll be surprised who makes it
-
and you'll be surprised who don't make it and also warn the
-
folks that will get offended. You can't blame leadership or
-
whoever you want to blame. She said it's go time and she
-
said shoulder season is. Over because you've been
-
equipped. Or in other words, you've been
-
held. You, you've been cosigned for
-
you've been carried. And we can go back in history of
-
love quest. God has always sent a word to
-
this house because we've always been faithful over that word.
-
And then here we are 2025, the fear of God.
-
Remember that. And you just see people in 2025
-
moving dicey, not considering if God says the theme of the year
-
is the fear of God, He is saying you need to move through this
-
year with fear and trembling. And you see hasty decisions, you
-
see offense, you see people isolating themselves in a year,
-
not the serious center of the ring.
-
You, you, you see, you see the enemy being very crafty.
-
And let me help you. The enemy has to be craftier.
-
He has to send high level demons to a highly spiritual,
-
intelligent church. So we, this church, don't deal
-
with drop out demons, but we don't deal with the demons that,
-
that, that just you, you just. You already on on on the cycle
-
that I've set is running your life.
-
No, no, no, no. A house like this is going to
-
deal with very principalities, territorial.
-
The impact that this house has is regional, so you're going to
-
deal with regional darkness and influence.
-
So it's not going to be. In the obvious that we expose
-
the enemy. So as we go forward in this
-
series, the Perfecting of the Saints watch.
-
This Watch this Jesus is calling his bride higher, so the Spirit
-
is taking the. Church deeper watch this Lord
-
showed me this this morning. I was like, oh Jesus, from grace
-
to grown-ups, do you remember? No, no, no, no.
-
Go back please. If anybody's been around for a
-
minute, there was a huge grace movement.
-
The enemy tried to pervert it to come against those who who a
-
grace mantle, a grace teaching mantle fell upon them because
-
the church needed to understand the love of God, because we were
-
rooted in works. But after the movement of grace,
-
Ephesians 3 says, be rooted in love, Grace that you may know
-
the depths, the width, the height, and the length of his
-
love, that you might come into the fullness, completeness, the
-
perfection of God. So God told me to tell you today
-
that the grace movement was only a setup for an equipping
-
movement. Thank you Lord, for sending
-
words to the. House.
-
The movement of grace was preparing us for the movement of
-
growing up. Think of childhood development.
-
I was thinking about this earlier, Troy, the entitlement A
-
child has a child. The covenant is all about them.
-
Told the worship team yesterday That song does not have its
-
greatest measure of oil until you complete the other side of
-
what you're singing. He leaves the 99 for the one.
-
That's his part. What has he asked you to leave
-
for? The one it's a covenant.
-
Both sides have stuff to leave, but what we've made our
-
relationship with God all about is us not.
-
Realizing that there was joint custody of the God, God says
-
here's what the word says. The earth is mines.
-
I mean, the heavens is mines. Watch this.
-
The heavens is mines. So let us make man in our image
-
and let them rule earth so they can be a reflection on earth as
-
it is in heaven. So let them have dominion on
-
earth like I have dominion in heaven.
-
So Jesus comes, he dies, and he, he's risen, and it says that he
-
has authority over the heavens, the earth beneath and above, far
-
above. Why does he want to share his
-
authority with us? How can he share his authority
-
with you, which all of us want, but he's struggling sharing his
-
love with you. And when I think of the shoulder
-
season is over, it's like when kids, there's times where you
-
come to a place when raising your kids is like, no, no, no.
-
You going to clean that up today?
-
No, no, your turn to take out the trash.
-
I didn't take out the trash for years yo.
-
And I don't feel bad for you washing dishes.
-
You have a great you got the best contract in this house.
-
You got to go to school, but you get a ride, you get food, you
-
get clothes, you get to boss me around.
-
Sometimes I want to be mad at you, but I can't stay mad at you
-
because I got to do life with you.
-
You have a great deal. I do not feel bad that you have
-
to labor. God is not moved because it's
-
hard for you, but it's the little kid in you that want God
-
to take the weight off of you. When He sent His only Son to
-
wash all your dishes to clean your little stinky sinful self,
-
you should have been dead. But He kept you alive and you
-
got the nerves to pout because you're carrying a little bit of
-
weight in your life. And no matter how hard the cross
-
was getting, He did not move. And when life gets hard for some
-
of you, you start moving and you start making different plans and
-
going different ways, finding different friend groups and
-
leaving churches and moving all over.
-
The wavering. The wavering is why he said he
-
sent apostles and prophets and teachers and pastors and an
-
evangelist so that he can mature you.
-
So so you can stop wavering boy if you think you wavering now
-
what's coming you going to be done.
-
Watch this I hope y'all ready for this concerning this Jesus
-
in in Hebrews 5 Paul is talking about the high priest.
-
OK, he's talking about the high priest.
-
He's talking about Jesus human experience, how he was clothed
-
in weakness so that he can relate to us, but also talking
-
about Jesus's divine appointment.
-
OK. It talks about how Jesus is
-
suffering is what qualified him for the cross.
-
It it, it goes on. And and Paul, the urgency he's
-
preaching with here is because he has a concern about the
-
immaturity of the church and their potential to fall away.
-
Matthew warns us in the last days there will be a great
-
falling away from us Saints and probably Saints that would never
-
think they would fall away because you 2 saved see you
-
built on I love God, but it's church.
-
If you're one of them, it's only a matter of time for you to fall
-
away, because what keeps. You rooted is his church.
-
There's that there's I hear it in somebody's mind.
-
No, Jesus roots me. OK, well, you just walk around
-
like like you like, like, like like you in in in Italy or Rome
-
somewhere. Walk around with just a head of
-
Jesus. You think he he's just a head.
-
You just got to you probably got an altar at home with just a
-
Jesus head on it. You didn't cut off the body.
-
You just go home and and and you worship the Jesus head.
-
He's like. You need to cut all this off.
-
Watch, watch this today, he said.
-
Concerning this, he's like, I want to get into the high priest
-
and the work of the ministry and but watch this.
-
Concerning this we have much to say, but it's hard to explain to
-
you since you have become dull in your spiritual hearing and
-
sluggish, even slothful in achieving spiritual insight.
-
No, no, no, here we want to feel we we we know how to get sermon
-
series about love and relationships and all the things
-
our flesh want to be right. Money like I we, we can build a
-
church, but it's hard to build a church when you go to preach a
-
series on equipment and five fold ministry grips.
-
No, I ain't no apostles for today.
-
Spiritual food, right? We just want to know he loves
-
us. Oh, how he loves.
-
We just want to sit there, watch what he says.
-
He says you're still too. So I can't talk to you about 16
-
year old stuff. And here's what I understand,
-
EJ, about a baby eating the meat that they can't eat is less
-
about their ability to chew it, although it's part of it.
-
It's about their ability to digest it.
-
Your digestive system is immature, can't handle
-
accountability. We can't handle the strong stuff
-
because you can't talk about equipping without
-
accountability. You can't talk about maximizing
-
your your your your fullest potential without
-
accountability. Watch this.
-
That's what Paul says. For even though by this time
-
you, by this time you ought to be teaching others.
-
No, I am teaching others. I guarantee you if I went to
-
somebody, if I was a family on some of you guys's walls, what
-
you're teaching, in some instances it's variations of
-
your opinion and thought, right? We mix.
-
We mix. It.
-
How many times you have coffee meeting where you breaking down
-
what the five fold ministry gift is gifts are and you activating
-
gifts and mantels in people's lives and you from from you.
-
You caught it, you understand it.
-
The last time you talked about what a Kingdom citizen is
-
talking about being filled with the Holy Ghost.
-
The last time you had a coffee meeting where you are
-
regurgitating what God said in this house.
-
Some of you have completely different conversations outside
-
of here. Be like PT that sounds
-
controlling or that sounds OK. Whoa, we can look in.
-
Scripture where we're we're we're called.
-
To echo the preceding word of God, we're called to say follow
-
me as I follow Christ. There's no leadership without
-
followers. There's no following without
-
leaders. And what we've done a great job
-
as is. We have.
-
We will. Come and listen to a man or
-
woman. On their platform.
-
But we want to put them in our seat.
-
We want to lower the call. You just like me.
-
Yeah, sure I am. But how you are receiving it is
-
not Bible. What do you gather?
-
What? When you say I'm called to love
-
quest, what does that mean to you?
-
And don't be such a fool to be called to love quest.
-
Sow into love quest, but don't get the fruit.
-
That's for you. Or you take the fruit but try to
-
change the. Seeds and replant.
-
Something. Different.
-
Let me get back to boss. Paul, you actually need someone
-
to teach you over again the very first principle of God's Word.
-
Watch it. You have come to me.
-
Milk, not soul food. Solid food.
-
Sorry, solid food, not solid. Food.
-
He's talking to the church and he's saying we got to pause
-
because you are at a place where you've been churching, you've
-
been serving, you might even have been witnessing, but now
-
the apostle is coming in and and checking on the people.
-
It's why it's important to understand the difference
-
between the five gifts. You might be trying to get
-
wisdom from a pastoral gift, but you've been called to an
-
Apostolic gift and you trying to take the words from the apostle
-
and give them to a pastor, and the pastor can't even understand
-
the word that the apostle gave to you based on what God has
-
shown him about you. Digestive.
-
Systems and some people only have a digestive system to
-
receive what God's going to do for you so you can remember and
-
receive and be rooted in the words that God's going to break
-
you through. He's going to promote you, He's
-
going to heal you. Watch this.
-
Let's see what solid food is. For everyone who continues to
-
feed on milk, everyone who stays on that applesauce, the Gerber,
-
they've got Gerbers in in Canada.
-
Gerbers OK, damn everybody who stay on that queen of weed that,
-
that Malta meal that that did the grits, the the, the sauce
-
stuff. You don't need no teeth for
-
everybody who continues to feed on milk.
-
You allow yourself to remain an infant because you throw up
-
meat. It is obviously inexperienced
-
and unskilled. Here it is in the doctrine of
-
righteousness. Watch of conformity to the
-
divine will and purpose, thoughts and action.
-
For he or she is a mere infant. Watch it.
-
Not able to talk yet. What you digest comes out your
-
mouth. I Sometimes you hear me.
-
It's like when I go, OK, you ever go back home?
-
I don't know if you from a place like you ever leave for a while
-
and you go back home and you sit around the table and you like
-
y'all ain't change, y'all feel the same.
-
But that's what make home home, because you can go back home and
-
count on some people's ignorance, right?
-
You can count on their ghetto, you can count on their
-
stupidity. You go home, but you can only
-
take so long, so much of it. And you like, I can't wait to go
-
back home 'cause you have now found your new home.
-
But you go back and you like, man, y'all still talk the same.
-
You ain't read a book yet man, I've been gone for 20 years.
-
You ain't read a book. You still stay in the same but
-
what? Y'all still talking the same?
-
You still selling dope? You still talking about robbing
-
people? You still, what are you doing?
-
You still in dysfunction, your relationship's janky, like what
-
are you doing? You're not able to talk yet.
-
But solid food is for full grown men, full grown perfected men.
-
Here's what I understand. There is so much that God wants
-
to get to you, but you have to change your digestive system.
-
You have to mature. Here it is.
-
Some of us think we're mature because we got new language.
-
Hey, I love Micah. He 10 he not one no more, but
-
based on how he talked, based on how Malachi talked, based on how
-
Malia talks sometimes he like Yep, like Malachi for deep voice
-
mustache like he he like he you think you talk to him on the
-
phone. You like how you doing, Sir?
-
You full grown man. But then sometime he'll do some
-
stuff. You're like, yeah, you still,
-
you still a kid. You still, you still a kid.
-
And as a father, watch this. There are some things.
-
Yesterday I was laying down or whatever, I don't know.
-
Whoever saw that moment, I was laying down on the couch at my
-
friend's house. And then my son, my big old son,
-
came and laid his back on my legs.
-
Like I I almost it almost moved me to start rubbing his hair,
-
but I was like, that's too much. That's too much.
-
Let me Right. It's my son.
-
I can do that. But let me enjoy this because
-
he'll probably get up and be like, Dad, you doing too much.
-
Because I don't even think he realized he was laying on his
-
dad's lap yesterday. Yeah, my lap is right here.
-
My thighs. So your spine was on my thighs.
-
You too big. Like, if you were still a baby,
-
you, you would have been sitting on my lap.
-
But you're tall, buddy. You're tall.
-
You're tall, right? You're tall.
-
It's OK, right? It's OK, right?
-
You don't have to hide your relationship with the father,
-
right? Intimacy is great.
-
That's why you go to some countries.
-
They they still are intimate and it's not perverted.
-
You'll see. Oh man, kissing each other
-
cheek. No, no, no, no, by culture.
-
That's that's that's honor. That's that's you find that in
-
more like Kingdom cultures you say.
-
But solid food is for full grown men.
-
For those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by
-
practice to discriminate and distinguish between what is
-
morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary, either to
-
divine or. Human law.
-
It goes on to Hebrews 61. Watch this you guys, please.
-
Therefore, let us go on the bus is taking off and get past the
-
elementary stage in the teachings of the doctrine of
-
Christ. Can we move on or do every time
-
you come back or you go to God, you got to be reminded you're
-
loved. You got to be reminded He'll
-
never leave you nor forsake you. You got to be reminded you're
-
healed. By his stripes.
-
You got to Sunday's got to be a reminder that you are more than
-
a conqueror. When can we move on?
-
Watch this. But I want to go deeper because
-
I want you to see what he's saying.
-
Move on from that. Most of us probably thought was
-
food. It was, I mean meat.
-
Watch this, he says, advancing steadily toward Here it is.
-
The completeness and perfection that belong to spiritual
-
maturity. Some of us think we are mature
-
in Jesus because we've been saved.
-
For a long. Time we, we, we got the
-
Christian language, we can articulate things and, and, and,
-
and we think we're mature because we can articulate
-
Scripture, remember Scripture and we sound mature.
-
But look at my. Look at my fruit.
-
What does your fruit look like? What does your household look
-
like? What does your joy look like?
-
What does your, your, your, your, your, your faithfulness in
-
relationships look like? Watch this, watch this.
-
Let us not again. Here it is delaying the
-
foundation of repentance. And the abandonment of dead
-
works and the of the faith. By which you turned to God, he
-
said let us not again keep talking about that.
-
Watch this next verse with teachings about purifying.
-
We still got to talk about and warn y'all.
-
Y'all think I'm going to be talking about single and all
-
that, You know, you know God's calling us the holy perfect,
-
holy first. Not like, oh, I'm.
-
Strong. I could.
-
Oh, I want to. Oh, I want to.
-
Oh, but I'm not No, no, no. When you going to get to not
-
even being tempted, right? Watch this.
-
Watch this. The laying on of hands.
-
Do you know how many believers? Don't know about the land on
-
their hands or or if, if or if they see it.
-
It's, it's, it's, it's weird. Watch this.
-
The resurrection from the dead and eternal judgment and
-
punishment. These are all matters of which
-
you should have been fully aware long, long, long, long time ago.
-
And you see, when he sends an Apostolic move, he's trying to
-
move the church forward from this infancy, this immaturity.
-
If we ain't sick, we are for sure immature.
-
That's a body. That's a body.
-
We got some strong fingers, a couple strong toes and a strong
-
arm and we got some some strong earlobes.
-
But there's there's, there's some there.
-
There's still if the body if one.
-
Part of the body. Then we all got to take
-
ownership and lead with urgency until the whole body is in
-
unity. Oh, this is the day you're going
-
to see apostles rising up there. There was the move where
-
teachers, there was a movement of teachers and that got into
-
the Word of Faith. Every move is going to have a
-
perverted version or an incomplete version.
-
Oh, in the last days, watch out for the false prophet.
-
Well, guess what? Why?
-
Because God's about to restore and is restoring the real
-
prophet. And then we have to let the
-
church know in the world know that you're saved by grace.
-
And then we took it too far or we highlighted where people took
-
it too far and that movement was persecuted.
-
But sometimes God goes all the way to the left because it's a
-
movement. He's trying to restore
-
something. When you see a prevalent message
-
happening and and and and and a dose of gifts happening, the
-
teaching movement. We went all the way.
-
All we hire is teachers. We hire teachers, we hire
-
teachers, we hire teachers. We have theological seminaries,
-
we have church networks where we place, if a church fails, we
-
send another pastor and we turn in applications.
-
We, we, we, we rarely have seen God send a man and a woman to a
-
city, a region, and they start with nothing, with nobody's
-
approval. And then you got to deal with
-
what church you go to, who sent you, what school you went to.
-
And then we see when the apostles.
-
Was birthed. That's what the religious people
-
dealt with. They didn't go to the schools.
-
We went to. Who are they?
-
But we can tell they follow Jesus.
-
The distinguishing matter was we can tell they've been with
-
Jesus. Here's why.
-
Because they were not moved. There was no wavering, wavering
-
Peter all of a sudden is ready to be persecuted.
-
So I'm here to tell you we're in that day where the wavering
-
Saints allowed to waver too long.
-
You will be a falling away St. and falling away does not mean.
-
See. Don't compare.
-
That you going to walk away and never be a Christian again.
-
Let's say that you're falling away.
-
Is you just going to go lukewarm?
-
Say you're just going to go cold.
-
You go read your little Bible though, because you got respect
-
for Jesus. Some of y'all, and here's the
-
warning, some of y'all going to be serving and you're going to
-
find yourself far away in the spirit in the back row.
-
Some of y'all going to be singing, some of y'all going to
-
have chances to preach and you going to see God is not afraid
-
to call you to his platform and give you an opportunity.
-
So when you do. Fall away.
-
You can never say this church ain't seen your gifts.
-
You can never say God didn't use me because I was doing something
-
wrong or I sinned. No, no, no, no, no.
-
There's enough grace for you to be in your pit right now, and
-
God give your word. That's his grace.
-
Go from murdering Christians to right away sharing the gospel.
-
What but man in control and tradition and religion.
-
We want you to work for everything.
-
Go to that school four years. Get a piece of paper.
-
What network you a part of? Oh, you a part of pay arc you a
-
part of Foursquare you a part of the ark you a part of and then
-
they judge you. The reason why we're non
-
denomination because we do good at you.
-
Oh, you're you believe in what you believe in the feeling of
-
the Holy Ghost. You, you Baptist, you this you
-
Presbyterian. Oh, that means this?
-
Well, you ever heard of a church called St.
-
Sabina? In in in in Chicago, that's a
-
spirit filled, Holy Ghost filled tongue talking Catholic Church
-
and go look at how they how they impacting a church and go look
-
at how how how world leaders gravitate to that church.
-
A spirit filled Catholic Church, Caucasian priest is like like
-
Nah, Nah, Nah, we I'm filled with the Holy Ghost.
-
Y'all gonna be filled with the Holy Ghost.
-
We he understands the sitting in the middle of this hood.
-
Ain't no way the devil gonna bow down to a lukewarm church.
-
You seen that video? You seen all the homelessness
-
that was up this street just somewhere around here used to be
-
a graveyard, A burial ground where the indigenous like we're
-
we're moving in to where the enemy once set up shop to
-
destroy lies forever. And then God moves the church in
-
that can handle what it once was looked like.
-
Then he sends a pastor from the hood who ain't afraid of the
-
hood while most of us stayed away from this area.
-
Some of us did dirt in this area.
-
The devil was ready for generations to be destroyed on
-
these streets. You think God's not going to
-
finish this work? This is an Apostolic move of
-
God, so we're not. Trying to fill seats.
-
Filling seats is a byproduct of health or a good business plan.
-
This church will be built off obedience and those that really
-
want to be equipped if indeed God permits.
-
Scripture says we will now proceed to advance teaching.
-
That's what Paul said way back then.
-
Ain't that crazy? Years later, what happened
-
between the fire Paul had and the fire the church had?
-
Then why does the fire keep going out?
-
Generation to generation. We have a generation that is
-
taught on Instagram with messages that have no context.
-
92nd sermons. Our hope is built on the
-
ministries we follow on YouTube this generation.
-
Paul warns us there will be a day coming where people don't
-
have the stomach for sound doctrine.
-
I don't know one apostle that was fully understood.
-
I don't know one church that was carrying the Kingdom mantle that
-
was not attacked and was not persecuted.
-
That's inevitable. But in this season, God is
-
making a Clarion call to all believers.
-
How long will you procrastinate and use your your your desires,
-
your businesses, your families, your ideas?
-
As an excuse. To not sit at the supper table,
-
watch this. He's going to be challenging us
-
on holiness. And I was telling you the other
-
day, we got to be careful because we got to we got to we
-
got to make up, we got to define definitions based on how God
-
defines definitions. No, he didn't just say you holy
-
because I'm holy. He said be holy.
-
We call to Holiness. We're called to make sure that
-
our good is not evilly spoken of.
-
We're called to pass on good things that may become idols
-
that get in the way of God's will in our lives.
-
We're called to work out our salvation in what?
-
Fear and trembling. So it's time to go higher.
-
Come on, say it. It's time to go higher.
-
It's time to go deeper. Go deeper.
-
I close on Phil Philippians 3. I don't depend on my own
-
strength to do or to accomplish this.
-
However, I do have one compelling focus.
-
Somebody say compelling focus. Watch this, watch this.
-
Let's not overlook this one word.
-
And the one word is 1. The call is so serious it's only
-
room for one. And a lot of us are worried
-
about everything. Our talents, our bank accounts,
-
what people think about us. Status, proving our parents
-
wrong. And then if a church is not
-
going to deal with us with the lowlife stuff, like relationship
-
goals, that's lowlife teaching. I I don't mean to offend you,
-
but that's lowlife teaching. Because if you really pursue
-
God, it is meant following. Jesus is meant to teach you how
-
to walk in his love. And when I walk in his love,
-
that's the love that he is called.
-
That institutes marriage. Eros does not institute
-
marriage, Stark. He does not institute marriage
-
ero I mean, agape is the institution of marriage, the
-
person receiving it from God first and then enter the
-
institute and share the love of God.
-
Marriage is God's institute, so the one thing that I have to get
-
down in my life is being abased in Him.
-
I've learned when it's bad, I'm good.
-
When it's abundant, I'm good. And if you're honest with
-
yourself, a little bit of pressure applied to your life,
-
you ain't good, you not stable. You want to have elementary
-
conversations to be reminded God's with you.
-
What did he say? I do have one singular,
-
compelling focus that's fueling everything in my life.
-
I first forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the
-
future. Instead, watch it.
-
Next verse I run straight. He's not break dancing.
-
He. Didn't know.
-
No wavering. No wavering.
-
He realized what God did for him.
-
God, you using me after I'd enslaved your people?
-
You want to use me? Watch this.
-
I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the
-
heavenly call goal. And the another translation says
-
the high calling. So in a house like this, you're
-
going to major in high calling sermon series because if you get
-
the high calling stuff, you get rooted in high calling you, you
-
make your life singular on high calling.
-
Watch what happens, he says and in gain and gaining the Victoria
-
victory prize through the anointing of Jesus.
-
I cannot do this without the anointing.
-
I don't care you, you some of you guys, just because you're
-
saved don't mean you walk in the anointing.
-
Just because you you got a bunch of Christian friends don't mean
-
you walk in the anointing. And I'll take the anointing.
-
I've learned to. I've been, ain't gonna lie, I've
-
learned to. I've take, I'll take the
-
anointing and the favor of God over $5,000,000 in my bank
-
account now. I'll take all three.
-
OK. Right, That's not me confessing
-
like the Lord knows my heart, but the point you, some of you
-
are pursuing this achievement and you think, watch this,
-
here's a danger for some of you. You're going to find your fall
-
here. You're going to get everything
-
you're pursuing for to get there and find out it's not enough
-
because God has put a call in your life.
-
You put it on hold. You put proximity on hold.
-
You've put certain partnerships on hold.
-
You put certain things on hold to pursue this thing and you're
-
going to show up there and you're going to be devastated
-
because what it's going to take to keep it is what you didn't
-
count for. You didn't see once you get
-
there, how how much further it's going to take you away rather
-
than letting God have His time. And when you get in the thing,
-
even when you get the thing, it does not move you.
-
It does not change you. So let's keep focused on that
-
goal. Those of us who want watch this,
-
who want everything God is Troy. I've come to a place in my life
-
and I think it's a part of this competitive nature in me.
-
I want everything God has for me.
-
Some of us are settled with some things, but I want every fruit
-
of the Spirit He has for me. I want every gift He has for me.
-
I, I, I want everything He has for me and everything He has for
-
me. Also sparks the desire to
-
understand that what He has for my children is everything I
-
desire. So there's decisions that I make
-
based on everything He has for them.
-
And some of you are making decisions based on what you
-
think he has for you, not realizing He needs you to say no
-
because He has something planned for them.
-
Jesus had to deny himself because he had a plan for you.
-
We live this Christianity where it's just like ABBA, Father,
-
what do you have for me today? And how dare him say me?
-
If any of you have something else in mind, watch it.
-
Something less than total commitment.
-
God will clear your blurred vision.
-
You'll see it. Yet, he said.
-
If you have anything other than total commitment planned for
-
God, your vision is blurred. Now that we're on the right
-
track, stay on it. Stick with me friends.
-
Keep track of those, watch it. Keep track of those you see
-
running the same race. What does he tell you based on
-
the map? Not just those who say they love
-
Jesus. Get married to someone who is on
-
the same track God has you on. Get in relationships with those
-
that have that are on the same track.
-
The same track, not just I love Jesus, I'm a Christian, I was
-
raised Catholic. No, the same track.
-
Just because we both are runners don't mean we on the same track,
-
he said. Keep track of those he In other
-
words, be be mindful when you've gotten away from those who was
-
on the same track and now you find yourself around people who
-
love God, who go to church, who might even serve God in church,
-
but they're not on the same track.
-
The local church brings specificity to your track.
-
That's why we have all these different expressions of
-
churches, their tracks, their lanes.
-
What lane are you called to run in?
-
He said. Headed for this same goal,
-
headed for the same goal. I need to be around people in
-
this season that's serious about the call of God.
-
That's on fire for the call of God.
-
That's not playing for the call of God.
-
That's not that's not OK with living lukewarm.
-
I'm, I'm, I want to be around some people that when I have
-
trouble lands my life down, I can see them lay their life
-
down. I want to be around people that
-
don't mind making the hard decisions.
-
That's why the call is a lonely Rd.
-
That's why there's a narrow gate in a in a wide gate, The all the
-
Christians ain't going through the narrow gate.
-
The narrow gate ain't the Christian gate.
-
And the wide gate is the world. They're both tracks, they're
-
lanes, he said. There are many out there taking
-
other paths, choosing other goals, and trying to get you to
-
go along with them. What is God calling you to?
-
Is He calling you a season of consecration?
-
Holiness. Then you need to stay away from
-
all appearances of evil. It might be OK for them, but
-
might not be OK for you. They're trying to get you to
-
water down the gospel. They're trying to get you to
-
water down the way. They're trying to get you less
-
accountable. Then you're here.
-
They're they're called to do less services and you're called
-
to do more and they're trying, man, you don't need to do all
-
that. It don't take all that.
-
Keep track of those you see running the same race.
-
See, I I needed these elders because God knew this was going
-
to get tiring sometime, but I've seen how they hold their course.
-
I can't go to them and be like, oh, this.
-
Hard. They'd be like, OK, won't you
-
just take some time? No, no.
-
They're like man, press in, press in.
-
Now, I never went to them like that, with that kind of spirit,
-
but I'm just like, you need to be able to look at some people.
-
You need to be able to hear voices of confidence, not
-
confusion. When I'm trying to fight for my
-
family, my bloodline, I don't need people that's caught up in
-
the thickets. That's encouraging me.
-
It's OK. For you to I got to do all that
-
right now. It's OK.
-
Like God knows your heart. But, but maybe I know God knows
-
my heart, whether I'm running the race in the right lane or if
-
I'm sitting on the sideline. I know the man sitting on the
-
bench who ain't played a minute can hoop.
-
But on that team, he wasn't called to play a lot of minutes.
-
Many are called. He'll respond to the call the
-
chosen ones are the ones who say let's go God everybody in here
-
is called here's the truth. Only a few of you will hear God
-
today if some of you going to walk out here and you're.
-
Going to look at me and go, oh, that was.
-
Cool, I'll take this part. Some of you going to take the
-
sermon and you're going to send it to somebody, say, hey, listen
-
to this and tell me what you think.
-
And some of you going to come some of your leaders and say I'm
-
ready. Jesus had 12.
-
He equipped those 12 for the work in the ministry.
-
Who Who fed who who who? Fed the 15,000?
-
Who fed the 20,002 fish 5 loaves.
-
You think those disciples wasn't like well, jeez you crazy OK,
-
cool, I'll take the fish, I'll take the bread.
-
You can see a couple of them murmuring Jesus think I mean we
-
out here looking stupid who fed them.
-
Jesus prayed over it. He anointed it, he interceded,
-
he believed he said you are equipped now go.
-
And then it came to a point where he said.
-
How long do I have to be with you?
-
He also says there are some. Things that I can't tell you
-
right now because you not have the Spirit.
-
But when I go, I'm going to come back later and talk to you about
-
a few things. For when the Spirit comes upon
-
you, you'll be able to hear different.
-
You'll be able to stand different.
-
I've warned you. Of those people, many times,
-
sadly I'm having to do it again. All they want is easy street
-
they hate. Crisis cross, right?
-
I love Christ, but do you love His cross?
-
But Easy Street is a dead end street.
-
But those who live there, those who live there, make their
-
bellies their God, their gods. Belches are their praise.
-
All they can think of is their appetite.
-
But we are citizens of the state, Commonwealth, homeland,
-
which is in heaven. We're in this world, but not of
-
it, and from it also we earnestly and patiently await
-
the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah, our Savior,
-
who will transform and fashion anew the body of our humiliation
-
to conform to and be like the body of His glory and majesty.
-
Somebody say the body. Watch this by exerting that
-
power which enables Him even to subject everything to himself.
-
Watch this church body. Somebody say the body.
-
This is why we focus on heavenly realities.
-
Heavenly reality is not about what He can do for us.
-
It's but you appropriating what He has already done.
-
It is finished. A Kingdom that cannot be moved
-
done, finished Now Lord, can you do this for me and he said what
-
you talking about I've done everything for you.
-
What why is your prayers full of Kenya do In our next experience,
-
we're going to get into understanding.
-
What the body here really is. Ephesians tells us who we are.
-
Watch this. Why should we be equipped?
-
Ephesians one tells us that we are the full expression of Jesus
-
in the earth and if we are not functioning how we should, the
-
world will not perceive him. We can't afford how you act and
-
our immaturity and your denial of call and wavering.
-
It is not giving a full picture of who Jesus is.
-
And if you look on social media, people, the church is being
-
mocked. They're laughing at us.
-
And no, it's not our job to go on Instagram and defend
-
ourselves. It's our job to go in, out in
-
this world and be for real about this thing.
-
You got to be for real about this thing.
-
You can't go, oh, type and share a scripture and God said this
-
and you go on in this. It's not an argument with
-
someone who's already won. And we're spending more time
-
apologeticing and apologizing and and defending the faith in
-
ways that are ungodly. Paul's writing most of the time,
-
all the time to the church. The issue is us.
-
We want to just just look down on the world, but how many
-
things do we do casually, not understanding?
-
That's a doorway into being like, like a Hillsong, how the
-
Hillsong get there. Because there are certain things
-
in the beginning that did not get checked.
-
How dare you check somebody? Oh, certain people, certain
-
leaders can drink, but the students can't drink.
-
Oh, it's private parties after conferences over here.
-
We do our little side thing over here and we're in appearances of
-
evil, not understanding. Wow, that's keeping somebody
-
lukewarm. Maybe you got to be scorching
-
hot so somebody can go from cold to lukewarm and get hot.
-
We're not fearing trembling. We just loose.
-
We carnal. We just want to have fun.
-
We want to push the boundaries. And that's how and then we man
-
right? We'll we'll look at all
-
Hillsong. They fail and this pastor failed
-
and this pastor failed and this pastor failed.
-
But OK, let's start celebrating the pastors and the teachers and
-
the churches who, who who got some courage and a backbone to
-
say, I see it. It may not happen for 15 years,
-
but if we do this fun little good thing over here.
-
The message that sends to someone, we are not building for
-
legacy. So then you wonder how a pastor
-
can go 30 years and now all this stuff is coming.
-
Pride goes before destruction. Haughty spirit.
-
Oh, they won't find out. I got enough money.
-
Our church is big enough, we'll scoot it under the rug.
-
Ain't nobody going to say nothing.
-
And then it takes one person to get courage.
-
They send they testimony to A to a, to someone in media and
-
everything blows up. And what happens?
-
How many souls are impacted 'cause you want to have a little
-
sip, 'cause you want to have a little party, 'cause you want to
-
have a little fun, 'cause you want to have a little little, oh
-
little, you wanted to re. Oh, it ain't nothing wrong with
-
it. This ain't about you going to
-
heaven. It's about the loss, going to
-
heaven, finding Jesus. It ain't about you no more.
-
And if this is the route to my well done, I'm going to.
-
I'm going to run this route every time like Randy Moss.
-
But I will not lose sleep because I fail to carry my cross
-
and wear my mantle. It does not matter how many
-
people don't like us. It don't matter how many people
-
persecute. It don't matter how many friends
-
you lose. It don't matter.
-
That is the cost. And if you really want to be
-
like Christ, look at how He walked.
-
Tell my mom I ain't got time right now because I'm in here
-
giving a word to the people I'm called to right now.
-
She'll understand. She birthed me.
-
She actually prayed over me that I'll be in this temple doing
-
that. How dare she get offended
-
because I'm being faithful and God is bringing His Word to
-
pass. Jesus says I've come to cut in
-
between these domestic arrangements.
-
Take a good close look again at Jesus, take a good close look at
-
Paul and really ask the Holy Spirit to ask him what he's
-
saying. Go ask him what the blood is
-
for. Go ask him what carrying the
-
cross is all about. Go ask him what holy is.
-
Go ask him what consecration is. Go ask him what sanctification
-
is. Go ask him what counting the
-
cost is. Go ask him what last days is.
-
And go ask him what it looks like when you got friends and
-
family who was on your clock going to hell.
-
Go take a real close look. And if you're going to be
-
offended with anybody, be offended with the word of God.
-
But God is raising up a remnant of real.
-
Yeah, I just want to be 1. And I realize I am not exempt.
-
From falling away. So I want to run as far as I can
-
and I really desire when my day is up to make sure my tank is on
-
empty and make sure that all that God has asked me since the
-
day I got revelation of his love, I've done everything I can
-
to do it and I want to leave my children.
-
I don't want to leave my children with battles I was
-
supposed to fight because they're going to have enough of
-
their own. I want my wife to be able to
-
stand by me and know that her husband loves the Lord.
-
For real though, that she's safe.
-
I want my children to not see a contradiction.
-
Raise them in the way they should go.
-
The way they should go is holy. Not have a church home, merely
-
my prayer for you guys today is that the Spirit of God some way
-
somehow arrests you and that you wrestle every bit of every bit
-
of pride. Now today you be healed from
-
offense and bitterness and excuses and procrastination.
-
But it's no reason why people need to fly and drive to Atlanta
-
to go to a church that seems to be on fire because they can't
-
find one here. I don't want to be the church
-
you drive by because you could. You couldn't find a fire drive
-
by because our music too loud. But you won't say we're not
-
really. Yeah.
-
Lord, build your church. We repent today for lukewarm
-
living. Lord, give us eyes to.
-
See the wolves in sheep clothing.
-
Give us patience. Lord, we need you not we need
-
you for material things, and we need you to find this person for
-
us. We need you to bless our
-
business, Lord, if you called us to it, it's already blessed.
-
Or we just need you, period, full stop.
-
We need to know you because in you is us.
-
And when we get to know you, we'll get to fully know us.
-
Or we need you to heal our trauma and bring us out of Egypt
-
so that we can worship you fully.
-
May we be like Paul this one thing.
-
That I have a compelled focus. It's the high calling.
-
The high call is seek the Kingdom first.
-
High calling, all these things, low calling will be added.
-
It's nothing to God to bless you with stuff.
-
It's nothing but Lord. May we be a people that bear
-
your image. And I ask you Saints, for the
-
next two to three minutes to take a moment and open your own
-
mouth and worship him and lift your hands, and you could sit.
-
And you could. Stand, but for the next few
-
minutes I. Feel like the Lord, just the
-
Father. Wants to finish something in you
-
today? Just lift your voice to begin to
-
pray and we will close. You might be saying you don't
-
take all that. Look at the cross.
-
Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.
-
May we become undone. You've been so good.
-
Thank you for your grace. Thank you for your mercy.
-
Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.
-
Thank you, Jesus. Thank you Jesus.
-
Stir up the gifts. Set us on fire, Set us on fire.
-
Lord, the year of the fear of God is
-
upon us. I pray that you move with fear
-
and trembling, that you steal yourself, quiet yourself.
-
And if you've never taken God serious in the name of Jesus, if
-
there is no time you've ever taken God serious, this is the
-
time. Gross darkness is upon us.
-
The world is even setting itself up for the coming of the King.
-
Read your Bible. Look at what's going on in the
-
world. Amazing things like AI that will
-
talk to us, things that are happening in government, planes
-
crashing, wars and rumors of wars.
-
It's all right there. And any good Shepherd's greatest
-
grief evangelists pastor, but none could be more grieved than
-
Jesus himself is the great falling away of the Saints that
-
is promised to come. And my prayer, Father, as it was
-
with Abraham, Lord, because of the remnant, Lord, let the city
-
live. Let not one person in this room,
-
under the sound of my voice fall away, and you give them strength
-
to hold on. To repent, to return.
-
May we be a people move by great conviction.
-
We are standing on the backs, Abraham's and Elijah's and
-
Paul's and our grandparents. Lord, I want to be in that
-
number. So today we surrender this word
-
to you and we prepare our hearts for the next experience.
-
Bless us in our coming and in our going.
-
In Jesus name, Amen. Thank you so much for tuning in

-
