Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International
-
Church Podcast where we seek to love all nations, equip the
-
church, mobilize the equipped and serve all.
-
We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever
-
you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get
-
your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe
-
some tea and get ready to receive.
-
It's go time. Let's get into it.
-
I. Read a couple scriptures to you.
-
John 38 amplified Classic. The wind blows, it breathes
-
where it will. Somebody say where it wills, say
-
where it wills one more time. And though you hear its sound,
-
yet you neither know where it comes from nor where it is
-
going. So it is with everyone who is
-
born of of the Spirit. The wind blows where it wills.
-
Though you hear it sound, yet you neither know where it comes
-
from nor. Where it is going acts.
-
To 2. When suddenly there came a
-
sound. Let me start at 1.
-
And when the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all
-
assembled together in one place. When suddenly there came a sound
-
from heaven, like the rushing of a violent Tempest blast.
-
A wind came out of nowhere, in other words, and it filled the
-
whole house in which they were sitting.
-
I reverse 1A little backwards. They were all assembled together
-
in one place. When the day of Pentecost hath
-
fully kept, come fully come, fully come someone say a
-
measure, When suddenly there came a sound from heaven, like
-
the rushing of a violent Tempest blast.
-
Ezekiel 37. 37 and 9 Then said He to me, Prophecy to the breath
-
and spirit, Son of man, and say to the breath and spirit.
-
Thus says the Lord of Lord God, come from the four winds, O
-
breath and spirit, and breathe up on the slain, that they may
-
live. So I prophesied as He commanded
-
me, and the breath and spirit or the wind came into the bones,
-
and they lived and stood up there feat an exceedingly great
-
host. Read it one more time.
-
Then he said to me, Prophecy to the winds, say to the breath and
-
spirit. Thus says the Lord God, come
-
from the four winds, come from the north, come from the South,
-
come from the east, come from the West.
-
O breath in spirit, and breathe upon these slain, that they may
-
shout it out. Live prophecy that what is dead
-
may live prophecy. But he didn't say prophesied to
-
the bones. He said prophecy to that which
-
is going to bring the dead back to life.
-
He said speak to the wind. Sounds like what Jesus did on
-
the sea. Sounds like he has given us
-
authority. To prophecy command, place a
-
demand on the wind or on the Spirit of life to come and
-
transform our lives. There is so much authority in
-
each one of us that walk with the Lord.
-
Follow the Lord led by the Spirit and are willing vessels
-
to let the breath of life live and flow through you.
-
Lord said prophecy, which means Ezekiel has a choice.
-
He can say, God, I don't think you see these bombs.
-
We're looking at hopelessness. No chance in hell these bones is
-
coming back to prophecy. No, no chance in hell that this
-
city, this community, this alley, this block is going to
-
look. No chance in hell this marriage
-
can be turned prophecy. No, no chance in hell my
-
children can make it through. No chance in hell this four
-
stage can't. No prophecy, no chance in hell
-
the budget will be met, the money will come in, the laborers
-
will Prophecy. I see how bad it prophesied.
-
Stop complaining prophecy. Ain't no way I can bounce back
-
from this trauma. It is how bad I've been hurt,
-
how bad I've been betrayed, how bad my husband treats me, how
-
far gone me and my spouse. And prophecy.
-
You believe God or you don't prophecy.
-
So we're going to take a few minutes before we get in this
-
word and we are going to prophecy so that as the Holy
-
Spirit comes in here tonight that there is transformation.
-
You have to move from just listeners of the word to
-
partakers of the word. There is life changing spirit,
-
wind and breath in the word. And my prayer tonight as that
-
every dead place in your body, it will experience the wind of
-
God and you will come alive. Prophecy He is perfecting.
-
Because the wind is about to blow, he is equipping.
-
Because the harvest is about to storm in, he is perfecting.
-
Because the wind is about to blow, he is cleaning his house.
-
Because the wind is about to blow.
-
It is His grace and it is His mercy that is giving His
-
children time to turn around. Before the Savior stepped out,
-
there was a warning in the wilderness, and that warning was
-
repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.
-
Yeah, before the bones got up in the valley, there was a word
-
that went forth. God is gracious to warn, to
-
compel, to send the Clarion call before the wind blows.
-
He is perfecting because the wind is about to blow.
-
The call of God separated Abraham from his family.
-
The call of God separated Jesus from his family.
-
The call of God separated Paul from his family.
-
The call of God separated Paul from his family, and Matthew 10
-
tells us that he comes to cut the call costs he is perfecting
-
because the wind is about to blow.
-
The power of God's Word is meant to bring about transformation.
-
He is perfecting because the wind is about to blow.
-
There's been warning to not get too busy.
-
There's been warning about being careful who you getting covenant
-
with. There's been warning about some
-
of the. Tricks of the Enemy in 2025.
-
Why? Because the wind is about to
-
blow. And a lot of times we do not, we
-
get so focused on harvest time, we don't focus on root time,
-
rooting time, rooting time, rooting time.
-
So the dangers about about about compelling you and prophesying
-
about the promise is you begin to get hyper promise and think
-
anything good that comes is promised because this is the
-
year. Not knowing that this loud voice
-
about promise on the flip side of it is a warning to brace
-
yourself because the wind is about to blow.
-
So in these conversations, there is going to be a stirring of the
-
gifts. God is shifting your seasons, He
-
is disturbing your rhythms, He is silencing your comforts.
-
He is transplanting your desires, and He is releasing
-
you. Watch it to your pride.
-
No, He does not free you from your pride.
-
You do that, but He will. When it's time, He will release
-
you to your pride. Father, may we have ears to hear
-
today. May we have eyes to see today.
-
Clean hands, pure heart, Holy Spirit activate we left off.
-
On Lush, the perfecting of the Saints and Somebody say
-
perfecting, somebody say maturing, somebody say grow up
-
OK. And what we have to understand
-
is God is called. This is a very crucial moment.
-
In the world and in the history of the world and the church, it
-
is it. This is what you might call a
-
defining moment for some of us, a turning point in history.
-
This is a time where we see generals leaving the earth,
-
mantels being thrown back down or being left on the earth, and
-
a new crop of apostles and prophets and teachers and
-
pastors and evangelists are being raised up.
-
They're called the remnant. I like to say it this way, God
-
always have a people in his back pocket.
-
God will never. It may look dark, it may look
-
wild, it may look crazy, it may look hopeless, but God always
-
has a flask of Saints filled, ready to go, ready to rock,
-
ready to obey. The, the, the.
-
There are many that are called and there are few that are
-
chosen. Some of you, you are being
-
healed from your fear of man for the call your, your freedom from
-
fear of man is to not make you independent of man.
-
We need each other. The enemy want to pervert you
-
pervert the fact that you have to be free from the fear of man.
-
And he wants to produce an independent spirit in you to
-
make you think you don't need no, no man, nobody.
-
He's raising up a people. He's raising up a tribe.
-
He's anointing his people. For such a time, I realize that
-
you can throw a net all you want to in the ocean, but you are
-
only going to leave with the fish that got in the net.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
-
yeah. So those that God is calling in
-
this hour, realize that you are not called to everybody.
-
You are not anointed for everybody.
-
And you have to be OK with the fish who are called to you and
-
realize they're called to you. You can't save everybody.
-
If you save in everybody, I promise you, you're distracted.
-
I realize that. He say we are fishers of men.
-
How many fishermen go out and catch the whole ocean?
-
Right, right, right. And what I realize when I look
-
at Jesus, he like I only got time and I only got capacity for
-
12 to save the world, I just need 12.
-
To carry this thing on, I only need 12.
-
But I also can't share certain parts of my life with but one to
-
three. The call is costly and I got I
-
think God wants to show some of us, especially those who feel
-
like it's either we we here's a buzzword now marketplace
-
ministry and some people have loud marketplace ministry to be
-
their excuse to not be committed to the local church in the name
-
of Jesus. Watch this When Paul left
-
Athens, he travelled to Corinth. Where he met a Jewish man named
-
Aquila who was originally from northeastern Turkey.
-
He and his wife Priscilla had recently immigrated from Italy
-
to Corinth because Emperor Claudius had expelled all the.
-
Jews. From.
-
Rome, watch this since Paul and Aquila were both shouted out
-
tent makers by what trade? Talk to me.
-
We go. We somebody going to get a
-
little bit of freedom tonight. Paul, not Saul.
-
So Saul is on the other side now.
-
He's what Paul and Aquila were both what tent makers by what
-
trade? Paul moved in with them.
-
He didn't move in with Priscilla, he moved in with them
-
and they became what business partners watch it every Sabbath
-
day. Paul spoke openly in the city.
-
He preached, he teached to both Jews, non Jews, attempting to
-
persuade them to believe the message.
-
Jesus do I see? Talent and call Paul used tent
-
making. To fund call and if you continue
-
on after his ministry began to get so explosive, it is believed
-
that then this is where we see churches beginning to partner
-
with him. But in the beginning of call,
-
Paul had an entrepreneurial trade.
-
God didn't say, oh, you're anointed, you're an apostle, so
-
you can't. Work.
-
He didn't say this is season, you got to work and pay bills
-
and call got to wait, quite frankly, his promotion to get
-
free and liberated from his trade.
-
Is how he. Was faithful over the tension of
-
doing both and so for some of you who are like God or in this
-
season, are you calling me to do one or the both?
-
You, you, you ain't paid no oil dues to be released from one or
-
the other. So if you're married or
-
whatever, you got call on your life.
-
Sure. Trust me, I did it.
-
I did it. I felt call, call, call.
-
I get a job and I'm like, Nah, I'm called.
-
So I don't need the work. I can't work.
-
I need time for call. But then family suffered on
-
foolishness. There is faith, there is
-
foolishness and there is presumption.
-
Paul was a tent maker on the Sabbath day.
-
Paul preached marketplace ministry, but the potency of his
-
marketplace ministry was based on his rootedness in the house.
-
There is room for both. There is capacity, but capacity
-
comes after obedience. Capacity don't come before to
-
pay you to be obedient. No, no, there is no capacity
-
exchange for obedience. You obey because you love God.
-
You don't obey because he gave you an increase in your hard
-
drive and now you like God. I'll go because now I can handle
-
more. No, you got to go when you can't
-
handle it. So.
-
So when you start handling it, you know why you handling it?
-
Only because of God. Take my yoke.
-
It's easy. Look at him.
-
Look at Paul. Look at Paul building tents.
-
Right. It's like then Brian was drafted
-
to the NBA by trade, by talent, by skill.
-
But on the road trips, he led Bible studies.
-
In offseason, he had an evangelistic mantle.
-
So in the offseason, he did revivals.
-
He leveraged his influence for the sake of the Kingdom.
-
Paul leveraged his skills to work for the Kingdom.
-
As we saw last week, a gift is a key that opens doors to bring us
-
into the presence of great men. We saw this last week.
-
Your gift will make room for you.
-
Right. Right.
-
Look, discipleship is impossible between me and Troy.
-
If me and Troy didn't have music in common.
-
Me and Troy met doing a trade, a skill, a talent.
-
It was something, if you ask him a part of the reason he was
-
there, because they was paying. Yeah, we've done some stuff for
-
free. But it ain't never free you.
-
If you got your mind right, you are getting compensated.
-
But we met. Music brought us together.
-
It was the medium. And then as we begin to
-
Priscilla and Aquila and and and Paul had tents in common.
-
It brought them together. Paul moved in a crib.
-
What brought them together? Their marketplace commonality,
-
their gifts, their talents. And this is the dangerous part.
-
You come to church and God brings you together for call.
-
But a lot of times what people can do for you gets in the way
-
of why you are called together. And so now before you know it,
-
it's good that we can hire people and work within and give
-
people jobs and we can talk creative ideas.
-
But man, the moment you forget that what what God brought you
-
together and a part of what brought us together was our
-
commonalities. And a lot of times it is the
-
very thing that brought us together that gets in the way of
-
why we walk together. We can walk together later.
-
Discipleship. Soul winning.
-
How do you fish? How do you fish?
-
How do you fish? How do you fish?
-
You put something in the water that the fish like.
-
Am I wrong? Am I right?
-
You put something in the water that the fish like.
-
How do you think God brings people in our lives?
-
He'll put somebody in your life that's doing something or got
-
something that you like or you need.
-
But the problem is you have allowed the need to be the
-
priority, the need being fulfilled, and you have become
-
an opportunistic St. And and and you have sat down on
-
why we come together. We're a body right?
-
What like we're by he? He uses our commonalities.
-
To bring us together. Think about it, when you're
-
dating, when you're finding somebody, you don't.
-
I mean, look, no, no, no, no. You found a commonality.
-
Hey, what you like, where you go to school.
-
And then the moment you find out you got something in common with
-
somebody, the commonality makes you like them more.
-
Oh, you like Disney? Oh, my God, I've been.
-
It is the commonalities that keep a conversation rolling.
-
And the goal is to use our, our commonalities to bring us
-
together. But then God brings a common, a
-
purpose driven commonality that keeps us together.
-
And way too many believers get brought together, but don't stay
-
together. Like God said, let no man put
-
asunder what I've brought together.
-
That, that, that is something that is used in, in, in
-
marriage, in weddings. Well, what do you think this is
-
the bride of Christ. God brought us together.
-
I, I, I could probably say that a lot of people will say I found
-
my church home. You don't necessarily look at
-
the people in your church home. How intricately we are knit.
-
Together and by This is why He demands us to gather together
-
because there is something in each one of us that God has
-
brought together. And when we actually abide
-
together, there's a work that he can do with us.
-
And that's why you got to understand if God is working
-
everything together for our good, what the enemy means for
-
our evil, then men, if you got the maturity to work through the
-
differences and get to the other side, then you will begin to see
-
the glory of the body. But way too often in this
-
culture, the moment we hit differences, the moment them
-
enemy lies, he plays off our hurts, our pains, we either
-
leave or we put up a wall and begin to critique.
-
So it doesn't matter because you come here all the time that
-
we're walking together. We just gather together.
-
And So what the enemy loves, He likes for us to keep our
-
differences at a distance and secret, right?
-
We're not in the middle of the ring.
-
We're in the corner and we come in and we get whatever we can
-
get. But what God has meant for us to
-
get require roots. Let me help you.
-
You don't grow roots without dying.
-
So you might be someone, you might be a seed planted at Love
-
Quest, but you are on the surface of the soil and then
-
here it is. Watch it, watch it.
-
Don't, don't watch it. Anyone who is truly rooted, we
-
call them cliquish. No, no, no.
-
That's what the world calls cliques.
-
And there are cliques in church, but they're also in church
-
called tribes. They're also in church.
-
A group of people who decide to actually be rooted and go deeper
-
and go beyond the surface and share their fears, their
-
weaknesses, also talk about their differences.
-
And they in the middle of the ring and they're fighting for
-
unity, they're fighting for love.
-
They're contending for the faith.
-
Many people are in their corners and they're throwing rocks at
-
the center of the ring and you are not getting in the middle.
-
No matter how messy it is, no matter how dirty it is, no
-
matter how long it take, no matter how much people poke at
-
you. I'm going to fight because I'm
-
called to contend for the faith. There there's no one that I'm
-
close with in this community that we have not had some very
-
hard conversation, brutal conversations, cry together,
-
laugh together, repent it to each.
-
Other and then on the other side of it, where there's no
-
vulnerability, there's no intimacy, there's no
-
vulnerability. Intimacy is not a sexual word is
-
in to me. See right so talents and gifts
-
brought us together under God's purpose.
-
Lower level talent is lower level or lower dimensional gifts
-
that undergird our dominant gift to bring support and balance.
-
Watch this. We read this last week, but I
-
want to read it one more time. Your talents are not the same as
-
your spiritual gifts. Skills are usually inherited,
-
passed down from generation to generation.
-
Natural talents can develop with practice.
-
Watch this. Spiritual gifts are received,
-
not developed. Spiritual gifts are complete
-
gifts, batteries included. Acts 1A says when the Spirit
-
comes up on you, you shall receive power, ability,
-
efficiency and might. Not because I developed
-
efficiency or ability or might. It's because the Holy Spirit is
-
up on me and that's what He brings.
-
That's what He. Adds to my life, and then you go
-
and look at the spiritual gifts, he says.
-
Now if I give, if I make somebody in charge of the gifts.
-
Then that'll be a hot mess. I distribute the gifts as I
-
please. Had somebody have a conversation
-
with them yesterday or the other day about the spiritual gifts
-
and the burden of the gift that they sense on their lives.
-
And I said the beautiful part about the gifts that are on your
-
lives, man, you can read about it and all that, but not many
-
people know what to do with the burden of the call.
-
You think the burden of the call mean if I got a gift of healing
-
on my life, then that mean anybody I see sick lay hands on
-
them. Anybody I see sick pray for and
-
let them hear me pray. And that's not the case.
-
I, I, I believe God, all nine gifts can flow through me
-
because I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't idolize one.
-
Neither do I just want one. I want the main. 1.
-
Right. I want love and here, here it is
-
is You have many people that say my ministry is this gift, but
-
that gift is the holy. Spirit's Ministry.
-
And so I'll see sometimes, man, we'll be flowing and there'll be
-
altar calls and there'll be prophetic words, and then
-
there'll be like weeks and sometimes months.
-
They're like, man, we haven't had that kind of encounter in a
-
while. Or God hasn't used me in this
-
way or used me in that way. And it's not like I'm thinking
-
about this the whole time, but I'm just like thinking about it.
-
Like I know he's used me this way, this way, this way, this
-
way, that way, then sometime he just has me preaching and
-
teaching and church over. But why do we press in the
-
worship? Why do we extend a little bit
-
longer? Because he may want to do
-
something and it is me yielding to him, asking him within my
-
spirit, Lord, is it anything you would have at this moment?
-
OK, cool, you finished. Awesome, done.
-
Because the spirit is like the wind.
-
The problem with the wind is when the winds show up, are you
-
available? This is why you got to be
-
mature, because you can't just be caught up loosey goosey in
-
the grocery store. If the winds show up, Are you
-
ready? Are Are you ready for the spirit
-
to move up on you? Like I don't want to have a the
-
the the the. Gift of the Spirit of prophecy
-
and then I'm in the locker room or at a ball game and somebody
-
is injured and and sick, but that that ain't Lord.
-
Can you get somebody in the gym that?
-
Got the gift to heal it. No, I'm just ready.
-
However, you need to use me today wherever I go.
-
Wind blow. And we got way too many people.
-
It's like this my ministry. This is the ministry.
-
And you go to your grave with this is the ministry you could
-
have been a whole lot more effective when that ministry
-
wasn't popping. Here's another ministry could
-
have been popping and another gift could have been popping and
-
another gift could have popped been popping.
-
Maybe you didn't have the gift of tongues used in that
-
sanctuary, but. He used the gift of
-
interpretations because we're a body.
-
So you say natural talents can develop with practice.
-
Spiritual gifts are received, not developed.
-
They come complete they they are unexpected surprises you can't
-
earn or deserve. God chooses watch it.
-
Your faith can be developed. Risk in REST are priorities to
-
grow in our lives. We are responsible to grow our
-
faith, but you cannot watch it grow your faith without risk.
-
And a lot of times you are trying to pick the right thing,
-
the right move, and you're too afraid to get out the boat
-
because you think you going to drown.
-
Or what if I don't walk on water?
-
No, but you won't know. Sometimes the way you hear God
-
is you got to step out to hear him say not that way.
-
The issue is not whether you can hear him or not.
-
It's can he course correct in your life and you respond
-
quickly. I realized that in my life, God
-
being pliable in his hands, He has trained me or I have allowed
-
him to, however you want to put it that whenever he speaks, I am
-
not afraid to quickly adjust and I'm not afraid to be wrong and
-
I'm not afraid to make a mess. But over 50% of the people we.
-
You are afraid to get messy. That's not a kid.
-
In the moment you put fear. In your kids from making a mess.
-
Now I'm talking about little kids, right?
-
I'm not talking about when you, you know, I mean like 12 and you
-
like doing stupid messes like you doing stupid stuff like you
-
can't be just be breaking stuff and throwing stuff.
-
Baseballs in the house and like crazy stuff.
-
I'm talking about when you put a little kid, you see him, you put
-
paint in the hand, you see how they eat, You see I got a bump.
-
I got a busted head right here because I took a risk.
-
I got a burn on my chest at one years old because I took a risk.
-
I was a kid. I didn't know no better.
-
I didn't know that that was really hot.
-
My Mama told me it was hot, but I didn't really know it was hot
-
until I pulled that hot grease down.
-
Like oh, how many times you think I pulled hot grease down
-
after that? No, see, what you don't
-
understand is that's perfecting. Can you take a risk?
-
So you can be perfected instead of being like Oh no, that's too
-
heavy. What if you put everything into
-
it to only find out, man, maybe I need to.
-
Maybe the reason I can't watch it, maybe the reason I can't
-
lift it is not because it's too heavy, is because I got a bad
-
posture, so now I need to go try.
-
So somebody, sometimes God is asking you to come out on the
-
sea because he's just trying to correct your posture.
-
He, he's not even trying to make you walk on water.
-
He just trying to get you to correct your posture.
-
Risk. Watch this.
-
When we grow in spiritual maturity, God increases our
-
gifts and capacity straight up. You be faithful over a little.
-
Ain't it crazy? The stuff we do take risks with?
-
Watch this. How many people fly?
-
That's a risk. You just hop on there, don't
-
know who the pilot is. You don't even know if one is in
-
there. You believe whatever voice come
-
over to the loudspeaker. Hi, this is your captain today.
-
You like, oh, praise God, somebody is in the cockpit.
-
No, anybody could get on the mic.
-
This is your captain, right? Terrorists.
-
Terrorists sit their little butt down and you get in the air.
-
Then it's a wrap, right? This is your cat and you just
-
automatically, you just hop on air.
-
You go on cruises and go out in the middle of the seat.
-
You, you do all kinds of stuff. Ain't it crazy the stuff we take
-
risk on? How many people didn't drank
-
alcohol risk. How many people did drugs risk?
-
How many people have had unprotected sex risk.
-
How many people have watched porn?
-
Risk, risk. You take risk every day.
-
Driving is more dangerous than flying.
-
How many people drove today? Risk.
-
How many people let somebody drive them today?
-
Super risk. Somebody say risk.
-
We take risk all the time, but how will we know?
-
How will we grow in our faith if we don't take risk?
-
And then you got way too many people OK not being advanced in
-
what God has called them to watch it.
-
And the child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with
-
wisdom and the grace. The favor and spiritual blessing
-
of God was appointing, the anointing was upon him.
-
The grace not, not, not, not not the undeserved.
-
There there's two types of grace.
-
There is the undeserved, there is the grace of salvation, and
-
then there is the empowering presence of God, a grace gift
-
upon your life to fulfill the purposes of God on your life.
-
The grace, the favor and spiritual blessing of God was up
-
on him. Watch it verse 42 and when he
-
was 12, somebody shout out 12. They went up as was their
-
custom. Somebody say custom Jewish so so
-
they were obedient to the culture to the custom the
-
ceremonial customs they were this is important for where
-
we're about to go. They were they were faithful to
-
the customs OK, verse 51 and we went down with them right.
-
This is after. His parents come looking for
-
him. I mean, you know that story,
-
right? Come looking for him.
-
And they get all the way home and they come back.
-
Where the boy at? He like what you mean where I've
-
been, you know I've been, which you lose to.
-
They should have known what he do, what's on him.
-
It is Jewish custom. His young men know the Torah.
-
And if they're really good at it, they're also preparing to be
-
rabbis. Teacher, teacher, teacher.
-
How old did the Bible say he was?
-
12? Somebody say 12 he like.
-
What you mean where I've been? You knew before I was in your
-
belly. You knew.
-
Came out of your belly. You knew.
-
You ran with me. You know what's up.
-
You know what's on my life. You protected it.
-
Now I'm 12, somebody say now I'm 12.
-
You trying to say where you at, where you've been, who you're
-
with? And he went down with them.
-
He's like, all right, all right, let's go, let's go, you right,
-
you, right, you, My parents, although I'm Jesus and I'm your
-
Savior, I'm a child right now and the Word says that I better
-
obey and honor. Watch this and he was habitually
-
obedient to to them. See, this is what we got to
-
understand. They weren't merely his
-
biological parents. This is the Savior.
-
They were his spiritual parents, especially his daddy, because
-
Jesus didn't come up out of him. You are his spiritual Father for
-
real. Amen.
-
Right. They they they are.
-
Watching over Jesus and they're watching over the Savior.
-
But this is a little boy, this is human.
-
This is the word became flesh. They couldn't be like, oh, he
-
the word, he going to be OK. Like this is very right.
-
We don't think about these things.
-
Oh, that's Jesus. That's God.
-
What we need to worry about God for we got we better go back and
-
get God God out here tripping. I want you, I want you to, but I
-
want you to look at the the layers to this because they are
-
literally watching over the word.
-
They're not letting the word get away from them.
-
OK, OK, Jesus himself needed covering.
-
Jesus himself was accountable to the delegated authorities in his
-
life. Jesus himself obeyed Word even
-
when it came to his death. What are you talking about?
-
Look, and his mother kept closely kept and closely and
-
persistently guarded all these things in our heart.
-
Why? Why watch this Mystic?
-
525252 And because of his obedience and because of the the
-
covering of his village. And Jesus increased in what
-
wisdom in broad and full understanding.
-
Watch this and stature and years and in favor with God.
-
And when what man? Jesus increased in wisdom?
-
Oh, the Word increased in wisdom.
-
The Savior increased in wisdom as long as he was in this world,
-
although not of it, He needed to increase in with.
-
And if Jesus needed to increase in wisdom, then what do you
-
think we need to do in broad and full understanding?
-
And in what stature? His inner man, His posture, His
-
influence and years and in favor with God and man.
-
If Jesus couldn't use the excuse, he was Jesus.
-
You can't use the excuse you were saying.
-
Oh, I'm saying I'm a Christian and what does the word say?
-
Oh, that's that's my tradition. So what does the word say?
-
Oh, that's how. I'm used to doing it.
-
OK So what does the word say? Watch this verse chapter 3 verse
-
23. Same Luke.
-
Jesus himself when he began his ministry was about 3030 years of
-
age. Wait a minute, how do I wait
-
that how we go from 12 to 30 in one chapter?
-
Because somebody say slow down. OK, what what we have to pay
-
attention to is this is that there is no record of Jesus walk
-
from infancy to 12 pops on. They see him in the temple 12 to
-
3030 to 33 ministry grave to sky.
-
There's these hidden years of his life.
-
So I got to take I got I I got to I got to look at based on the
-
nature of God and based on certain situations in the word,
-
what might he been doing? So we go back that it was his
-
custom. Remember we say his family went
-
up as custom, so it's also fair to assume as custom he is in his
-
word to know the Torah. That's why he find found himself
-
in them scrolls. He found himself OK, but also he
-
was being raised looking forward to being a rabbi.
-
Watch this. But it was also known that
-
rabbis only shared scripture based on what they were taught.
-
They were reading the scroll and they were taught what their
-
rabbi taught them. Jesus was one of the only rabbis
-
that not only taught, but he gave his interpretation of it.
-
And that's a part of the reason why they wanted to kill him is
-
because he came with Revelation. OK, OK, OK, watch this.
-
Matthew put up. Matthew really quick.
-
Matthew 729. Real quick, real quick, real
-
quick, real quick, real quick, real quick, real quick.
-
Matthew 729 for he was teaching as one who had and and was
-
authority. He didn't just have authority,
-
he was authority and not as did the scribes.
-
He was raised to be 1, but he had another call on his life and
-
he came with revelation. Watch this.
-
He came with spirits and with truth.
-
So the reason they wanted to kill him is because they
-
couldn't understand his interpretation of the scriptures
-
and they would say that's blasphemy.
-
So we will often find them trying to find him going against
-
the word, the law, and he came to establish his Kingdom.
-
So on these latter days, boy, you better have eyes to see and
-
you better have a humble heart and you better be rooted in the
-
Kingdom because guess what? It's going to be a whole lot of
-
stuff that that that that some of you may not understand,
-
especially in the blind spots of your flesh.
-
And when God sends apostles, when he sends prophets, you just
-
might miss them just like the. People who used to teach about
-
them, how they teach about them, they didn't see them.
-
So just because you read your Bible don't mean you see Jesus.
-
Just because you come to church don't mean you follow Christ.
-
So we go back to the warning of this great falling away.
-
How you going to fall away? And we're not talking about you
-
just just straight up denouncing Christ.
-
How you go from hot to cold, hot to warm lukewarm.
-
How you going to let church hurt steal your voice?
-
How you going to let the busyness of your life cause you
-
to sit on your car falling away lukewarm, passive.
-
And then now you're getting older and you're like, oh God, I
-
wish I would have. No, no, no, you don't got to
-
wish. You would have just heed to his
-
voice. So then we go into the apostles
-
and they wanted to persecute them.
-
Why? Wait a minute, they didn't go to
-
the same schools as us. But we can tell they've been
-
with that man. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
-
wait. Paul.
-
I know. Jesus, I know.
-
But who? Is you.
-
I hear you saying his name, but the but the but the but the
-
evidence in your tracks don't look like you following him.
-
I see Jesus footsteps over there.
-
I see you over here, you watching Jesus now following
-
Jesus you, you, you right, you you want to be a Jason just in
-
case the storm come. Hey, Jesus, I'm I'm with you,
-
I'm with you, I'm with you, I'm in line.
-
You know, you know little kids when they when they little and
-
they, they doing stupid stuff and then you turn around,
-
they're like. Right, we're going to have
-
Saints in the last days then just cruising and chilling you.
-
I'm here, Jesus here and guess what the Bible said?
-
I never knew you. What are you talking about?
-
You think my relationship is always keeping account of you?
-
It's like I got to always take roll, like I got to all, here's
-
what roll call. Here's what you do when you make
-
Jesus call, roll over and over. You always got to hear His call.
-
How many times you got to remind you, You called.
-
How'd you even lose the focus on the call?
-
You got prophetic words. Your parents told you, some of
-
you in here. Man, you have gotten so many
-
prophetic words spoken over your life.
-
And let me tell you something, prophecy just don't come to
-
pass. Like, like if prophecy just came
-
to pass, like Jesus had to go through it.
-
John, you got to baptize me, buddy.
-
No, I got to go on this cross. So you actually got to do your
-
part because prophecy is birthed from covenant.
-
It takes 2 right? When you go to the altar, one
-
says I do. If the other one doesn't, we
-
have not agreement, we have not marriage, right?
-
What happens if you go to a wedding and one person say I do
-
and the other one don't? Wait, watch this, watch this but
-
but they said yes, so why? Why are you judging them on
-
there? I do.
-
How many of you in here say, yes, you got Jesus at the altar
-
still just he been said I do and he.
-
What, what, what, what's been going on here?
-
So he's studying, but also what was what was known is that they
-
would study that Torah, but as they got older they would pick
-
up their father's trade and work at it full time.
-
Who else was a Carpenter father? If you look at scripture, Jesus
-
dad also passed, hence have to cross.
-
Hey, take care of my mother. He's a young man.
-
He left before his Mama, no dad, so he was also taking care of
-
his Mama and his younger siblings.
-
What was going on between infancy 12 and 12 and 30?
-
Because the Gospels is not there to tell us about the biological
-
life of Jesus and what he did and what he ate.
-
And like, yes, some of that is sprinkled in there, but this was
-
to record his death, his resurrection, his birth.
-
This was to record prophecy. This was to confirm.
-
What Isaiah said. So through the Holy Ghost, we
-
get the chance to really look at might Number one.
-
What was going on was parenting. No, I'll parent.
-
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No.
-
No, because isn't God's calling. What is the revival all about?
-
Sons and daughters knowing how to be parented, come be on here.
-
Got daddy issues, parent issues. Some of the very scars you hold
-
came from your parents. So then when we get in church,
-
we no you preach to me. That's all you is.
-
Give me small groups, that's all you is.
-
Don't come to me talking about no covering, no spiritual this
-
spiritual that. No, my Pat, no.
-
Your name, Terrence. Your name, your name Julia, your
-
name John, your name, your name Rich your, your name.
-
You know we all the same. So did orders stop after Jesus?
-
Jesus was not over being parent. Because the parenting is way
-
more than just putting food on your table.
-
It's about covering and protecting the gift on your
-
life. No, I got a word.
-
This baby is given to me. I got to protect not just the
-
human, I got to protect the divine inside the human.
-
Watch this number. 2 Did you ever think that why we didn't
-
see a lot of his life is because he was being perfected The
-
unseen years overlook the years. Oh, that's just the Carpenter
-
boy. That's that's just oh, I don't
-
find in scripture Jesus was rushing.
-
I don't I don't find them thirsty, desperate.
-
He was tending to the family business, he was learning, he
-
was being educated. And then you see a lot of
-
Kingdom minded cultures in this country and you.
-
See why they have. Several generations in one
-
house, their kids can play hoop, but their parents aren't pushing
-
that because they're going to hand off the family trade.
-
North America, we don't we're not raised Kingdom No 18 get up
-
out of here start and every generation starting a new trade,
-
starting a new. Business starting a new purpose,
-
starting a new dream, starting a new idea, starting a new
-
philosophy, starting a new new, new, new, new, new.
-
And we're no longer passing on, right?
-
Mary. Mary was supposed all the
-
prophets in the Old Testament. What they were doing is they
-
were given the word. Next prophet, next prophet, next
-
generation, next generation. If you handle the word right,
-
handle the word right, next generation the word becomes
-
flesh. And he comes, and he gets things
-
in order, and he restores the Kingdom, and he takes the keys
-
back, and the Holy Spirit comes, and he tells us to make
-
disciples. Here's making disciples.
-
Teach them from generation, just the family business, OK, We
-
won't pass it to the next generation.
-
Malachite, Malachite, here you go, Malachite grandkids, here
-
you go, Malia, here you go. Here you go.
-
He was like, oh, here's ten ways to be wealthy.
-
Here's ten ways to do this. Here's what you don't do in
-
marriage. Here's what you do in sex.
-
And here's what you do with this.
-
We passing on. We not passing on family
-
business, We passing on desires, We passing on philosophies, we
-
passing on trauma. We passing on hurt.
-
What Jesus went to do is he went to reconnect us back to the
-
Word. Jesus I by the Spirit of God, I
-
know what was going on in the lost years.
-
Same thing that was going on in David in the backfield.
-
Jesus was killing his lions and his bears, and that's why when
-
he came out, all it took was three years.
-
That's why it only took David one stone efficient ability and
-
might because he didn't mind the perfecting.
-
He honored those that was given charge over him, although he was
-
God. He was parented, he was
-
perfected #3 in those years he was being postured.
-
How did Jesus, as a human being anointed, stand against all that
-
persecution? Oh, Judas, it hurts, but I've
-
been perfected for Judas. I've been perfected, Paul, Paul,
-
I've been perfected to go without and to have abundance.
-
I've been perfected. But also watch it.
-
Jesus is also living our prophecy.
-
And here's what a lot of you need to get.
-
There is a word over your life. If ain't nobody prophesied over
-
you, the word has. Before I formed you in your
-
mother's womb, I knew you. I ordained you, I consecrated
-
you, I anointed you. God's not perfecting nothing.
-
He's perfecting what he put in you.
-
He's the Potter. He's shaping the clay.
-
Everyone in here carries a different gift, or I'm going to
-
put it this way, a different presence.
-
All right, Shereen, walk in here.
-
She carry her presents. She's not going to walk in here
-
and you're going to be like, hey, Lily, No, no, no, no.
-
That's present when she walk out of here.
-
She takes her presents right from from her her stature, from
-
her posture, from from her smell, from her hair, from
-
whatever there's from from her laugh, from her smile, from from
-
her negativity or her positivity.
-
We all carry presents. But we all also carry presents,
-
PRESENTS, gifts, and. Here's what it should look like.
-
And all the elders cast their crowns.
-
What would happen? If 75% of us was aware of our
-
presence, which is overshadowed by His presence, and He has.
-
Put in US presence. When we come in here, we lay
-
them down at the altar by releasing them so that the wind
-
of God. Can blow on all of our
-
offerings, all of our gifts in one room.
-
Not everybody come in here knowing they have a present to
-
cast down. You think the only people with
-
presents are the people who come on this platform or serve at a
-
post. So what you wait for is you wait
-
for a team to come out, tell you to stand up, lift your hands,
-
sat down. You didn't know that you can
-
walk through that tent. You got a presence on you.
-
You got presents in you and you can come in here and lay it down
-
and you can start worship before the worship team come out.
-
Perfecting God's perfecting the Saints and it's my job and it's
-
it's others that are called in these five fold ministry gifts
-
to equip you. Stir on, stir up the gift, call
-
you out all all the things, call you based on Paul here.
-
Paul, he ain't have time for lower call.
-
He said. I press towards the mark of the
-
high call, high call, high call, high call, high call, high call,
-
high call, high call, high call, high call.
-
And I found out when you focus on high call, high call, high
-
call, high call, then then the low stuff actually don't become
-
as desirable. How can he handle writing
-
letters with shackles on his hands?
-
High call, high call, high call, high call.
-
You so focused on the high call writing the letters?
-
Are you focused on the souls? Are his imaginations Is on
-
seeing people's soul set free, not the shackles on his wrists?
-
High call, high call, high call, high call.
-
Some of you have settled for acknowledging God, but you
-
constantly focused on low, call low, call low, call low, call
-
low, call low. Gifts, low talent, just talents,
-
gifts, abilities. So I need to go to school so I
-
can get this piece of paper to support my gift, not support
-
call. How, how?
-
How would your major and minor selection?
-
Go in college if you went into selecting knowing call see
-
because if I got a diploma that support my call.
-
Then I might, I might only get 100,000 a year, maybe 80,000 a
-
year. But based on, because I'm in my
-
call and based on the stewardship of my call and based
-
on the education I have about my call, that gift, the diploma,
-
the gift, the diploma is going to make room for me.
-
And then I'm going to find favor with God and with who, man.
-
So I might make on paper 70 grand a year, but all the favor
-
and all the resources that come my way because the anointing is
-
a magnet for Kingdom purpose. He brings the resources.
-
In the world, money make room for you and there's so many
-
gifts in this room, so many presents that God has put in you
-
in this. Room.
-
That in this season, the winds blowing, that's why he's
-
perfecting. So what I told them is you, I
-
was talking to somebody who feels they have a strong
-
evangelist call on their life and the gift of healing.
-
So we're talking, he's like, ma'am, I'm need service sometime
-
and I'll see you and blah, blah. And I was like, do you know that
-
that gift is the Holy Spirit? Sometime the gift is activate
-
the burden. He's like, what do you do when
-
you have a burden? And you see.
-
Do you know sometime the burden is to activate prayer?
-
The Bible says that that Jesus was moved with compassion.
-
It was his compassion. It was his burden that then we
-
see people healed. Some people want healing but
-
don't have burden. The anointing flows through
-
burden. My yoke is easy anointing.
-
My burden is light yoke destroying burden, removing
-
power of the anointing. And I said, do you know all the
-
gifts that are in the room, all the presents that are in the
-
room, Maybe the burden comes up on you because you want to see
-
somebody healed. God then moves through your
-
intercession in the room. And then because we're praying
-
room, he might then move up on me, Elder John, whoever's
-
speaking. And then God begins to then
-
activate another gift called prophecy or the gift of wisdom
-
or the gift of knowledge. And then, oh, it's somebody in
-
this room that is dealing with XY and Z, but nobody knows that
-
that word was activated by the person with the gift of
-
healing's burden. Yeah.
-
And then we begin to call things out.
-
And then maybe God will say, hey, come down here, There's few
-
people dealing with XY and Z. We're going to pray for you.
-
Don't nobody know that that move was activated by a vessel who
-
had the gift of healing on them? But what we want?
-
Is if I got the gift, I'll lay the hands.
-
You don't realize you're a vessel, you're a vehicle, you
-
carry water. You ain't the water.
-
But what happens, though, is I find on the flip side, there's
-
burdens in the room every Sunday.
-
But what? About the other presents that's
-
just swallowed up by insecurity, that's just kind of like, Oh
-
well, pastor got it or and the best she got it.
-
Look at her and the best so anointed.
-
Oh, I want to be bold like no, she may be bold because she.
-
Used. She used her.
-
Shy, right? And he said, Jesus, he increased
-
in wisdom. Well, if you can increase in
-
wisdom, guess what else you can increase in courage?
-
I heard, I heard it was a, it was a pro athlete said man, I
-
wasn't all this. I wasn't always a competitor
-
like this. I wasn't always a dog.
-
There's a, there's a lot of NBA players, NFL players who
-
whatever kind of players, NHL, whatever that, that started off
-
super insecure and the opportunity that they got then
-
they were faithful over the opportunity.
-
And before you know it, confidence grows because all of
-
a sudden you find out. Wait a minute.
-
I can hang on this level. Wait a minute.
-
I'm actually better than them. Wait a minute.
-
You're actually afraid of me? You're.
-
I intimidate you. You.
-
You. You, you.
-
There's a day got to come where you see that.
-
Wait a minute. The enemy don't want you to find
-
out he is intimidated by you based on what you're like.
-
Demons don't want you to find out that they are already a
-
defeated foe. Come on enemy don't want the
-
revelation to come in that by the stripes of Jesus Christ I am
-
the healed and not the sick. He doesn't want you to know
-
you're more than a con. He don't want he don't mind you
-
reading it, but he does not want you to get it in here.
-
Read all day, go to church all day, have the Bible app all day.
-
But if it does not get in your inner man, if the Word is not
-
anchored by the revelation of the love of God, all the word
-
going to do is fall off your ears.
-
Your faith is going to be frustrated, you're going to be
-
mad at God. And all you can show up with is
-
this list of God, I did this and God, I was raised in a pastor's
-
house and God, I've been in church all my life.
-
So what probably shouldn't run down the list of how long you
-
you've been in church, but you still stuck.
-
You're better off just being a new convert talking about you're
-
stuck. But.
-
Every person in here that has received Jesus Christ as their
-
Lord and Savior, there is something unique in you, there
-
is something powerful in you, and there is something He
-
desires to blow his wind and get it through you.
-
And I just believe it's about to be a dusty season.
-
The wind's about to blow, makeup about to come off, wigs about to
-
blow off, eyelash is about to come off, right?
-
God is saying I don't need all this extra stuff.
-
I put something in you and that's all I need to work
-
through. That's all I need to bring
-
salvation to the world. That's all I need to bring
-
healing. That's all I need to bring
-
wisdom. I have put something inside of
-
you that if you just allow the wind of my life to blow into
-
you, man, we will see revival. We will see salvation.
-
We will see the salvation of the Lord.
-
