  1. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International

  2. Church Podcast where we seek to love all nations, equip the

  3. church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.

  4. We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever

  5. you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get

  6. your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe

  7. some tea, and get ready to receive.

  8. It's go time. Let's get into it.

  9. Isn't God so good? What a what a revelation that

  10. is. What a revelation of heart.

  11. What a revelation to know the One who gave himself for you.

  12. He is good. He has good intention for you,

  13. He is good purpose for you. His heart is towards you.

  14. His desire is that you would know Him.

  15. He is good. He made a way so that you can

  16. come and dwell with Him. He is good.

  17. What a revelation. If we seize that revelation, if

  18. we bring that revelation into our workplace, into our family,

  19. into our life, it will change everything.

  20. We bring that into our prayer life.

  21. God is good. My God, who I call upon, He is

  22. good. Woo.

  23. Receive that. Take a seat and remind your

  24. neighbor our God truly is good. Hallelujah.

  25. Well, it's great to see you this Sunday, 9:00 AM experience here

  26. at Love Quest International Church.

  27. My name is Elder Brett, and our pastors, Pastor Terence and

  28. Pastor Julia are away this weekend.

  29. I want to just thank them for the opportunity that it is and

  30. the blessing that it is to be able to share with you this

  31. morning. God is moving in this place and

  32. there's a word in the house, and I believe that He has a word for

  33. you. So have expectant hearts today

  34. expecting that God is working. You always find interesting is

  35. have you ever been to an experience and you've heard the

  36. message and you go, oh, this was really good.

  37. This is this is what I've got in the message and you're talking

  38. to to someone who's in the same message and they say I missed

  39. that bit. But man, this bit here, this was

  40. really good. I love this bit.

  41. Why, why does that happen? Because the Holy Spirit is

  42. speaking to you because He knows you and he knows what you need.

  43. So there's going to be Nuggets here that God has just for you

  44. because he's good. Remember we talked about that

  45. just a second ago. All right, God is good and all

  46. the time. Amen.

  47. See, I didn't have that in Australia.

  48. That wasn't a big thing in Australia, but it's a good thing

  49. here. So we're going to continue with

  50. the theme of lush, the perfecting of the Saints.

  51. And part of this message was a prophetic message the Lord gave

  52. through Pastor Terence that he is equipping us because the

  53. wind's about to blow. The wind's about to blow is a

  54. suggestion. No, is a statement that the Holy

  55. Spirit is about to move in a great way.

  56. And so He is equipping us, preparing us, perfecting us,

  57. maturing us. So we are prepared for when the

  58. wind blows, but even if we're not prepared, the wind's going

  59. to blow. And so we take the

  60. responsibility to be prepared for what God is doing.

  61. John chapter 3 and verse 8 is a verse that's been used through

    John 3 chapter mention

  62. this theme. And John 38 says the wind blows,

  63. breathes wherever it wills. And though you hear its sound,

  64. yet you neither know where it comes from nor where it is

  65. going. So it is with everyone who is

  66. born of the Spirit. Now, it's a fascinating thing

  67. with wind, and we all know the kind of wind comes from a high

  68. pressure, low pressure. It's shifting from different

  69. areas of pressure within the systems and it always is

  70. adjusting and moving. And we've got highs and lows.

  71. And this is the stuff I learned in high school.

  72. I kind of remember high pressure, low pressure, and the

  73. wind is escaping from a high pressure area towards a low

  74. pressure area, but it's always changing.

  75. So we know that. But do we see the wind?

  76. Well, no. What do we see?

  77. The results of the wind, right? You know, flags, flutters, maybe

  78. a tumbleweed blows down the Midwest, something like that.

  79. But we see the result of the wind right as it is with the

  80. Spirit. He is moving and he is shifting

  81. and he is blowing. He is moving in lies, and we

  82. don't know where it comes from or yet we know that he is

  83. moving. He is moving in power.

  84. He's moving to touch lies. And so we're going to talk about

  85. the wind of the Spirit in three different areas.

  86. The wind exposes, the wind refreshes and the wind reveals.

  87. The wind exposes, the wind refreshes and the wind reveals.

  88. In Australia, they will have tropical cyclones come down and

  89. it's like the hurricane here, different term for exactly the

  90. same thing, a bunch of very blowy wind that causes damage

  91. and strife, right? And I've not been in a hurricane

  92. or a tropical cyclone to experience that kind of wind,

  93. but you see pictures of it and usually now we know that they're

  94. on their way, they're coming in off the shore and you've usually

  95. got a few days to prepare. So what do people do when

  96. they're preparing for the wind to come, right?

  97. They're getting out plywood, they're protecting the windows.

  98. They're, they're battering down. Anything will be blown away.

  99. They're, they're trying to, to find a way to prepare so that

  100. when the wind blows, it's not going to take away their house

  101. or their belongings or, or, or cause too much damage, right?

  102. Wind exposes the weak points. So if you have a roof that's

  103. gone, you know, been nailed in, but the nails aren't so good or

  104. something, it's going to create this weak point where it starts

  105. to flap and all of a sudden, you know, also it's gone.

  106. The roof is gone. It's just disappeared.

  107. It's just exposed. Everything's exposed now.

  108. The roof is gone. That was a weak point.

  109. It's an exposure. Now we just spoke about how God

  110. is good. Yes.

  111. So when the wind of his Spirit is moving, he's exposing.

  112. But to what end? Is he exposing to condemn or is

  113. he exposing to build you up? There's a, there's a great

  114. scripture Paul's writing and he says God disciplines those he

  115. loves. If you're not disciplined, then

  116. you're not one of his children, right?

  117. You're, you're, you're, you're, you're not really his.

  118. Why? Because he wants you to grow

  119. into who you can be. So when the wind of the Spirit

  120. is exposing, it's exposing so that you can shift that thing

  121. out, get rid of that part to be able to shape it differently,

  122. reset your priorities, reset your agendas.

  123. Because the wind is exposing, it's tearing off those things

  124. that have covered it. We talked about the roof coming

  125. off. When the roof comes off,

  126. everything inside that house or barn or whatever that might have

  127. been is exposed now to the wind. But the purpose of God in

  128. exposing you is to heal you. The purpose of God in exposing

  129. you is to actually bring order and life into something that's

  130. been dead. So when the wind of the Spirit

  131. is exposing, he's doing it for your good, He's doing it for

  132. your benefit, He's doing it for your life.

  133. This is why we have to start with God is good, right?

  134. Because when God is good, that's my measuring line, right?

  135. That's how I define what's occurring.

  136. I can see the exposure of how God's moving and they go, but I

  137. know God's good. So I know at the end of this

  138. journey, at the end of this season, I'm shifting towards the

  139. goodness of God. He's exposing for our good.

  140. Matthew 7 verse 24 to 27. Anyone who listens to my

    Matthew 7:24–27

  141. teaching and follows it and does what and right, not just listens

  142. but follows obeys, is obedient to, is wise.

  143. Like a person who builds a house on solid rock, though the rain

  144. comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds

  145. beat against that house, it won't collapse because it is

  146. built on bedrock solid rock. But anyone who hears my teaching

  147. and doesn't obey it is foolish. Like a person who builds a house

  148. on sand, when the rains and floods come and the winds beat

  149. against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.

  150. Exposure, you see when they're first built, both those houses

  151. look the same. In fact the one on the sand

  152. might have looked pretty good. It might have looked like pretty

  153. flashy might have had that nice little, you know, beautiful

  154. kitchen and great view of the water, those big windows and you

  155. know a lovely entrance and there there were probably like 5 or 6

  156. bedrooms and you know, you've got like a media centre and it

  157. looks flash so good. But sand what what happens with

  158. sand? Sand shifts right The the the

  159. foundation shifts. Sand gets undermined by water.

  160. It can sink, it's not solid. So despite the houses both

  161. looking the same, when difficult times come, when the challenge

  162. comes, when the wind blows, when, when there's an exposure

  163. to the elements, it can't hold up.

  164. So it doesn't matter how beautiful the facade is.

  165. It doesn't matter how nice it looked.

  166. The foundation was off. Now you What's interesting, in

  167. the parable, Jesus says both of them heard the word.

  168. It wasn't like 1 didn't hear the word, but the other did.

  169. Now he doesn't say that. He says the one who doesn't do

  170. it, the one who doesn't obey me is like the one who does it on

  171. the sand. You can have head knowledge, but

  172. how do you live it? The sand wasn't the one who

  173. didn't know what Jesus said. He was just like the one who

  174. built on the rock. They both heard the word, but

  175. what did you do with it? Did you obey?

  176. Did you follow? Did you follow the plan?

  177. Did you did you hear the word of the Lord and continue to do it?

  178. Or did you say, oh, that was a nice message.

  179. I'm so glad I came on Sunday to Lovequest.

  180. It was fantastic. Yeah.

  181. Anyway, anyway, what else are we doing?

  182. Or did you take the word and did you do something with it?

  183. Did you apply it? That's the only difference

  184. between the two stories. The bedrock, the solid rock was

  185. those who did it follow through, obeyed the word of the Lord.

  186. The wind is blowing to blow out the shakeable, the wind that the

  187. Lord blows so that we can be purified, so we can come to that

  188. place of being aware, truly aware of where we stand and

  189. truly aware of what God is doing.

  190. First John chapter 2 verse 3. And we can be sure that we know

    1 John 2:3

  191. him if we what obey his commandments and we can be sure

  192. that we know him if we OK, so the answer is obey his

  193. commandments. OK, all right.

  194. And we can be sure that we know him if we yes, if someone claims

  195. I know God but doesn't obey God's commandments, that person

  196. is a liar and is not living in the truth.

  197. Next slide. But those who obey God's word

  198. truly show how completely they love him.

  199. That is how we know we are living in him.

  200. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus

  201. did. You see those who obey guys were

  202. truly they show. It's revealed in their life.

  203. It's revealed in how they speak to people.

  204. It's revealed in how they walk. It's revealed there's an

  205. exposure to it. Reminds me of the message from

  206. the beginning of this year, which is our theme, the fear of

  207. God. There's a difference.

  208. I don't want to I don't want to understate the importance of the

  209. love of God that well, not the love of God that I love God, I

  210. love God, right? I love God is a powerful

  211. statement. I fear God, I honour God.

  212. I'm in reverential awe of God is actually a different level.

  213. John Bevere, who's a author and and minister.

  214. He spoke to a man sketch my memory right now who had gone to

  215. prison because he had actually embezzled funds through his

  216. ministry and he questioned me said he said what was it?

  217. How did you what, what happened? You know, you had this massive

  218. ministry. You were reaching millions of

  219. people. And he said, I loved God.

  220. I didn't fear God. I didn't have a reverential awe

  221. of who God was. I didn't come to that space

  222. where I, I, I feared God and had an awe of God and I recognised

  223. it massively who he was, that I would allow that to affect how I

  224. lived my life, how I walked it out.

  225. You see, here's what John is writing here is those who obey

  226. God's word truly show how completely they love him.

  227. That is how we know we're living in Him.

  228. We're abiding Him in Him. John 15 Jesus talks about being

  229. the vine and we are the branches.

  230. When we abide in Him, we can be fruitful.

  231. When we abide outside of Him, we can't be fruitful.

  232. It's the abiding in Him, in knowing Him, in in obeying his

  233. commandments, in responding to His Word and actually applying

  234. it into our lives. That's that point, that point of

  235. obedience. It says, yes, I will submit

  236. myself and surrender myself to what God has called and what God

  237. has said in His Word. That now becomes the point at

  238. which I can say I begin to know Him.

  239. And then it says those who say they live in God should live

  240. their lives as Jesus did. You see, Jesus is our model.

  241. In fact, the Scriptures talk about us being shaped into the

  242. image of God. Galatians 419 and again in I

  243. believe there's Ephesians 4 around verse 21, we're being

  244. matured into the image of Christ, into the very stature of

  245. Christ, it says. So we're actually being shaped.

  246. The purpose of our our walk is to be shaped into the image of

  247. Jesus, to live out our lives in a way that models what Jesus

  248. did. Hearing the voice of the Lord,

  249. being obedient in what we're saying, walking with the Spirit,

  250. being led by the Spirit. This is our call not just to get

  251. in by the the the skin of our teeth and say great, I've got

  252. the golden ticket. It's about us being discipled

  253. into the walk, being discipled by hearing the word, being

  254. discipled by spending time with people who love God so we can

  255. walk in him. Dear friends, I'm not writing a

  256. new commandment for you. Rather, it is an old one you

  257. have had from the very beginning.

  258. This old commandment to love one another is the same message you

  259. heard before, yet it is also new.

  260. Jesus lived the truth of this commandment and you also are

  261. living it. For the darkness is disappearing

  262. and the true light is already shining.

  263. If anyone claims I am living in the light but hates a fellow

  264. believer, that person is still living in darkness.

  265. Anyone who loves a fellow believer is living in the light

  266. and does not 'cause others to stumble.

  267. But anyone who hates a fellow believer is still living and

  268. walking in darkness. Such a person does not know the

  269. way to go, having been blinded by the darkness.

  270. You see, this becomes very real. Now the rubber hits the road.

  271. Oh my goodness, it was nice where I could just love God and

  272. he's out there. But now I've got, I show that I

  273. love God by how I treat you. Oh man, how now?

  274. Now we've got to, I've got to show love through connecting

  275. with you. But I don't.

  276. What if I don't always like everything?

  277. That's OK. We show through this

  278. relationship what God's done here.

  279. If anyone loves a fellow believer, they are living in the

  280. light. Now what does that term mean?

  281. Interestingly, in first John chapter one, verse four and

  282. five, John says God is light and there is no darkness in him.

  283. So that actually sets the framework for the rest of the

  284. book of the first John. God is light, and there's no

  285. darkness in him. So now we're seeing a difference

  286. between light and darkness. Anyone who hates their fellow

  287. believer, everyone who hates their brother and sister in

  288. Jesus, is walking in the darkness.

  289. Well, that's not where God is. Anyone who loves their fellow

  290. believer shows love, shows true love, true heart, then they're

  291. walking in the light. Well, that's where God is

  292. because God is light. And so it comes down to this

  293. relationship, how we speak about one another, how we walk with

  294. each other. I mean, this is pretty strong

  295. stuff. John's not, you know, pulling

  296. any punches. This relationship here is where

  297. we are showing and revealing our love for God.

  298. Could you pull up for me Proverbs chapter 26 and verse

    Proverbs 26 chapter mention

  299. 20, please? Proverbs 26 verse 20 to 22.

    Proverbs 26:20–22

  300. Proverbs 16 verse 28 says perverse man sows strife and a

    Proverbs 16:28

  301. whisperer separates close friends.

  302. A whisperer. The whisperer is the gossip.

  303. The one who gets in the ear of another sows seed of discontent.

  304. The Whisperer sows seeds to separate.

  305. They separate them from others. A Whisperer does it in the

  306. darkness. A whisperer will go in the quiet

  307. side rooms, go to the corners to have their little discussions.

  308. We often talk about, I think it's in foundations too.

  309. We talk about centre of the ring, we come to the centre of

  310. the ring. We have our discussions here.

  311. We don't have our discussions in the corner, in the quiet, in the

  312. darkness, right? Those places where whispering

  313. occurs, we expose it. We come in love with one another

  314. to show and reveal it. I've got it here if we don't

  315. pull it up. Proverbs 26, verse 20.

    Proverbs 26:20

  316. Oh, here it is, a lying tongue hates those it wounds and

  317. crushes. Oh, there is for lack of wood

  318. the fire goes out, and where there is no whisperer,

  319. contention ceases. As coals are to hot embers as

  320. wood to the fire, so is a quarrelsome man.

  321. Quarrelsome man to inflamed strife.

  322. Next verse. The words of a whisperer or

  323. slanderer are like dainty morsels or words of sport to

  324. some, but to others are like burning lips uttering insincere.

  325. Words of love and a wicked heart are like an earthen vessel

  326. covered with a scum thrown off the molten silver.

  327. It's interesting. The whisperers first feel the

  328. The words of a whisperer are a gossip first feels like a dainty

  329. morsel. It's like, oh, that was, that

  330. was. Oh, I know something now.

  331. Did you hear George? Did you hear?

  332. Do you know about that guy called Elder Brett?

  333. Oh my goodness. Oh, I know something.

  334. That's a dainty morsel. Oh, that tasted good at first.

  335. But a whisperer creates firewood for the firewood for the

  336. dissension. And so this connects with first

    1 John 2 chapter mention

  337. John chapter 2 where it's like, hey, do you love your, you love

  338. your brother? You love your fellow believer in

  339. Jesus. Or is whispering part of it?

  340. Because they are not the same thing.

  341. A whisperer's tongue burns. That's why we talk about centre

  342. of the ring, because we're about exposing the things that will

  343. draw us away, exposing that heart that needs to shift.

  344. And remember God is good, so the exposure is for our good.

  345. The exposure is actually so that we see with new eyes, that our

  346. minds are renewed, that we're walking in a different path.

  347. The purpose of it is not to condemn, but actually to convict

  348. so that it can be healed in First Corinthians chapter 5.

    1 Corinthians 5 chapter mention

  349. I read it earlier today. Don't worry about pulling it up.

  350. But Oh my goodness, imagine if Paul was your pastor.

  351. Paul says there's a man committing sexual immorality in

  352. your church. He's sleeping with his

  353. stepmother. What are you doing?

  354. I'm afar off and I've already judged him.

  355. Get together the church and kick him out.

  356. Get rid of him, and here's why we go Well, hang on, that

  357. doesn't sound very good. That's not very loving.

  358. Hold on. Here's why we kick him out so

  359. that he can see the wrong and still be saved.

  360. Do you understand that the love of God is actually about

  361. revealing and exposing. So he's because Paul's heart was

  362. actually that the man would eventually come to the knowledge

  363. of Jesus in such a way that he would still be saved, but the

  364. exposure was get him out because that little bit of 11 will

  365. affect the whole lot of you that little bit.

  366. And so he would say get everyone together, say OK, see you length

  367. you're off when you're ready to switch and change your mind,

  368. change your ways. Then we'll, you're open, right?

  369. See, He's moving for our good. He's exposing so we can be

  370. healed. He's exposing these areas in our

  371. lives so that we can come back to that knowledge of Jesus or we

  372. can deal with that and have the path to move forward.

  373. His exposure is for our good. The wind of God is moving to

  374. expose, and His exposure will lift us up, redeem us, and save

  375. us. The wind refreshes.

  376. Where am I? There?

  377. I am OK sorry, lost my part, got all excited, lost my part Here

  378. we're good acts, chapter 3, verse 19.

    Acts 3:19

  379. And now you must repent and turn back to God so that your sins

  380. will be removed and so that times of refreshing will stream

  381. from the Lord's presence. You see in the exposure, the

  382. repentance makes the way for the refreshing.

  383. It actually makes it possible that streams are refreshing,

  384. times are refreshing will stream from the Lord's presence.

  385. I love that idea of streams for those.

  386. Now we think of streaming, we think we're going to watch

  387. something. This is like the old fashioned

  388. stream where it's like a water flow.

  389. The water flows the the water flows through a stream.

  390. The great thing about running water, especially for the

  391. mountains, it's got freshness to it and streams of the times of

  392. refreshing will stream from the Lord's presence.

  393. This shows you the heart of the Father God.

  394. He calls us to repentance because he wants so much more

  395. for us. He calls us to repent and turn

  396. back to him because he desires to pour out times of refreshing

  397. into our lives. The Spirit of God is moving to

  398. refresh us. There's something about

  399. something that's been refreshed. You know, you go do a good car

  400. valet and now all of a sudden the, the car that felt a little

  401. bit musty or, you know, and very dirty or whatever it might be

  402. becomes fresh. It's refreshed.

  403. It's become fresh again. It's become fresh to to smell

  404. fresh to see it's refreshed. There's something when you see

  405. something for the first time. Have you ever?

  406. I remember when I first came to Canada, I grew up in Adelaide,

  407. South Australia, great part of the world that grew up nice and

  408. warm. We didn't get much rain.

  409. It's a little different here. Well, we didn't have mountains.

  410. And remember the first time we would drove up and I think we're

  411. driving up towards Whistler and I saw these mountains.

  412. I went, these things are huge. Wow, right.

  413. The first time you see snow, Stacey took a picture of me.

  414. The first time I saw snow. I was so cute back then.

  415. Thank you. And I'm like, oh, wow, you got

  416. my hands out. I'm in the snow, you know,

  417. tongue out. Oh, then 15 years later and

  418. you're trying to shovel it out of your driveway.

  419. It's a different joy. Thank you, Lord, I don't have to

  420. go to the gym now. I've got it, you know?

  421. But the refreshing takes you back to that first moment.

  422. That first moment of joy is like that first moment of joy that

  423. says, wow, look at those mountains now I see them every

  424. day. Can I have that same freshness

  425. of joy? See, times of refreshing as the

  426. Holy Spirit is blowing is actually bringing us to our

  427. first love, our first love. At first love we say Jesus thank

  428. you. Can we?

  429. Can we thank him with the same passion and zeal and pursuit

  430. from that first time? Jesus, Jesus, you changed

  431. everything. Oh, Lord, everything changed.

  432. That first love, that refreshing.

  433. There's a part of when the wind is blowing to bring you back

  434. with new eyes to see what God has done and what he's doing in

  435. your life to refresh you. Chris, sledding.

  436. I'm going to tell you a story, if that's all right.

  437. Thank you. OK, I got permission.

  438. I got the thumbs up with good. So he was out hunting a couple

  439. weeks back and he had a big load on his back and he's having to

  440. go up this mountain and it was hot and he's going up the

  441. mountain right with his big pack on his back.

  442. And then the wind would blow. Refreshing that wind is a

  443. refreshing wind. The wind when it gets at your

  444. back, you know, you, you got a load, it gets to your back.

  445. It's like, oh, that's so good. I'm going to go with that,

  446. right. There's a refreshing of the wind

  447. in Adelaide. We'd have a gully breeze that

  448. would come through and it'd be like 40° in the day and, and

  449. it'd been hot for, you know, about a week.

  450. And then you get this gully breeze come through and you're

  451. like, oh, stand outside and just enjoy the breeze because it's a

  452. refreshing. The Holy Spirit's blowing for

  453. refreshing to refresh us, equipping us and preparing us.

  454. The wind is blowing to refresh your soul.

  455. Matthew Chapter 11, verse 28 to 29.

    Matthew 11:28–29

  456. Pastor Terence used this scripture last week.

  457. I think it's really important. It says come to me.

  458. Jesus is saying come to me, all you who labour and are heavy

  459. laden, overburdened, overburdened, really receiving

  460. great weight. And it says and I will cause you

  461. to rest. I will cause you to come into a

  462. place of rest if you come to me. See he puts the invitation out

  463. and what's our response? He says, come to me, all you who

  464. labor in a heavy laden are overburdened.

  465. That will cause you to rest. I will ease and relieve and

  466. refresh your souls. Take my yoke upon you and learn

  467. of me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will

  468. find rest for your souls. Rest refreshing.

  469. The Lord is calling us because He wants to give us rest.

  470. The Lord is calling us to be able to position us for rest, to

  471. come into His presence, to come into that place of rest.

  472. Do you remember about a month ago I had a chair here.

  473. Does anyone remember? I had a chair here.

  474. Anyone remember? And I had had laid out on the

  475. chair. I'm not going to do it now

  476. because there's no chair there. I'd fall on the ground.

  477. That wouldn't do any good. Kick back is the undisturbed

  478. soul. When we find our rest in Father

  479. God, we can live with an undisturbed soul refreshed at

  480. rest in Him. The wind refreshes, the wind

  481. reveals. I'm going to touch on this a bit

  482. more in the noon experience. So if you I would have make it,

  483. thank you. And if you're unable to make it,

  484. I encourage you to to watch it online.

  485. But I want to touch on it briefly.

  486. There's something about wind that reveals as well.

  487. We talked about hurricanes, and there's been occasions where

  488. there's been a big storm and it blows away debris.

  489. It blows away the things that have covered for so long.

  490. And in that blowing, something's revealed all of a sudden that I

  491. didn't even know. In those stories is often like a

  492. secret door, you know, a secret door to the treasure.

  493. It's right there. I had no idea it was revealed by

  494. the wind that blew all the dust off it.

  495. There's a revealing, and I define it differently from

  496. exposure. Exposure to me is to show us the

  497. things we're dealing with. The wind revealing the Holy

  498. Spirit when He reveals is actually reminding us and

  499. showing us again. He is the Spirit of wisdom and

  500. revelation, revelation that comes from the word reveal.

  501. And the Holy Spirit, when He reveals, is actually bringing

  502. back to our remembrance something, bringing back to

  503. remembrance a word. Perhaps there was a call that

  504. has become covered over with debris and dust and mud, and the

  505. Holy Spirit wants to reveal it again.

  506. The Holy Spirit is revealing that again, there's a call the

  507. time and circumstance had covered.

  508. But that word was not in vain. There's prophetic words that

  509. have been left in a drawer and he's saying, time to get that

  510. out again. There's a revelation you

  511. received in the Word and you were disappointed the first

  512. time. The Spirit of the Lord is

  513. calling you to go back and faith again, believe again, walk with

  514. him again. The wind of the Spirit is here

  515. to reveal. The Holy Spirit of God is moving

  516. and there are words of your past that He is breathing new life

  517. into. There are promises that you gave

  518. up on. He's breathing new life into

  519. those promises. Again, the wind of the Spirit is

  520. blowing life. Again, He is the Spirit of life

  521. and He's revealing to you. Hebrews 12.

  522. Hebrews 1212 to 13. It says 2 is 12 January.

  523. Trust me. Hebrews 12 verse 12 to 13.

    Hebrews 12:12–13

  524. For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than

  525. any 2 edged sword, piercing, cutting through even to the

  526. division of soul and spirit and of joints and of marrow.

  527. And the Word of God is a discern of the thoughts and intents of

  528. the heart. And there is no creature hidden

  529. from His side. All things are naked and open to

  530. the eyes of Him to whom we must give an account.

  531. The Lord is revealing because He sees it all anyway.

  532. You thought you could hide from God?

  533. Oh my goodness, what a good one You thought you just tuck away

  534. under the radar. There's another verse that talks

  535. about I made the heavens and the earth.

  536. Do you think you can hide anywhere?

  537. I made it all. I know where those caves are.

  538. I know where it all is. Stop trying to run.

  539. Spirit of the Lord is here to reveal because God is good.

  540. He desires relationship with you.

  541. He's exposing for your good, He's refreshing you for your

  542. good, and He is revealing hidden things for your good.

  543. Though we might be matured, strengthened and equipped for

  544. the next season, I invite you to pray with me.

  545. Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah.

  546. Praise you Jesus. We love you, Lord.

  547. We love you, Lord. Thank you Father.

  548. Thank you, Father, God that you are moving in this place.

  549. Thank you Father, to each and every individual and the sound

  550. of my voice. You know them, you desire

  551. relationship with them, and you desire to mature them, to

  552. perfect them, to bring them into this knowledge of You so they

  553. can walk in the power, the love, and the grace of God.

  554. I thank you, Lord, that you're more interested in our

  555. perfecting than our deliverance. The Lord, you are moving upon us

  556. to strengthen us for the fight. Thank you, Holy Spirit, the wind

  557. is blowing. The wind is blowing to expose

  558. those areas you're dealing with to bring exposure so that we can

  559. be purified. Or the wind is blowing to

  560. refresh us and prepare us to strengthen us for the walk, for

  561. the run that you're calling us to.

  562. The Holy Spirit you're revealing, you're blowing to

  563. reveal, to bring back the remembrance, the promises to

  564. bring back the remembrance, the call to bring back the

  565. remembrance. What you've called us to, to

  566. come back to our first love, to come back into that place of

  567. knowing you. Lord, we desire to know you, to

  568. know you, to know you. Lord, let that be the cry of a

  569. heart. To know your presence, to know

  570. who you are, to know how you move, to know you intimately, to

  571. get connected, to get real, to get open and vulnerable, and to

  572. come into your presence with open hearts.

  573. Lord, Father, thank you. Challenge us, convict us, reveal

  574. to us so we might grow in you that meanwhile walk in your

  575. presence and be conformed into your image.

  576. Lord, we desire to know you and to abide in you.

  577. In the name of Jesus, Hallelujah.

  578. Amen. Amen.

  579. Hallelujah. God's good man.

  580. Oh, and all the time God is good.

  581. Yes, I forgot about the bit. Yes, absolutely.

  582. Well, it's a blessing to be in this house.

  583. And we actually have a short video for you to see that is

  584. from our televised 100 Huntley segment.

  585. So if you turn your eyes to the screen.

  586. Yeah. Kind of an industrial area.

  587. Tell us a bit about why you chose to start the church here.

  588. We were looking for a space and personnel as a part of our

  589. community said, hey, there's this kind of abandoned garage in

  590. the area, come check it out. It was abandoned.

  591. It was available and we prayed about it and we walked through

  592. every step and every door. We ended up here.

  593. I thought we'll be in in four months.

  594. And due to my ignorance, I found out four years later we're still

  595. waiting to get in the building. Yeah.

  596. Yeah, well, it's hard not to think that maybe God has

  597. something behind that weight because we see these high rises

  598. being built up all around this building.

  599. Julia, when you think about your church life here, it's full of

  600. joy. I've heard.

  601. What would you say it looks like in action?

  602. Over and over again we hear people when they walk through

  603. just the the tent doors or even just coming onto the property

  604. that they feel love like they've never felt before.

  605. I think for us to be an expression of God's love in this

  606. community, not just inside these four walls, though, everywhere

  607. around here. God really strategically planted

  608. us here. There is every university in

  609. this, the region has a satellite campus right here.

  610. We are literally in the city center.

  611. We also have public transportation.

  612. They're completely changing the city and it's all happening

  613. while we are building simultaneously.

  614. So I know that every equipping, everything that we're doing here

  615. is part of what's happening outwardly as well.

  616. Amen. So we saw a great picture down

  617. over our property there and we're in the middle property in

  618. this location. We have our currently for our

  619. SSK over in that area, but that's actually going to be our

  620. media space and this is going to be our youth and children's

  621. space. And that side of the wall is our

  622. worship centre. It's exciting.

  623. And so we've been giving into the Remnant campaign and we're

  624. just in this last stretch. We're going to finish well.

  625. There's a last stretch of 500,000 that we're raising.

  626. We've raised over a million and we're excited to be able to give

  627. into that. Now we're going to have our next

  628. big giving opportunity is on September the 21st.

  629. Sunday, September 21st is our next big giving opportunity into

  630. the Remnant. But don't be held back by that

  631. date. If you want to give before, you

  632. can give before. Just mark on the envelope that

  633. it's for Remnant and we'll make sure it gets allocated

  634. accordingly. But this is a tremendous

  635. opportunity for us to be sowing seed into the Kingdom.

  636. As you can see from that segment where you're in a place where

  637. there's lots of people coming in, you got to just look at the

  638. towers that are being built up over here where there's going to

  639. be souls that are living there. I say souls because they're

  640. souls that need Jesus and they need the refreshing streams from

  641. the Lord and they're looking for something.

  642. And So what we're going to be able to do next door at our

  643. worship centre and the people we're going to be able to impact

  644. is a part of that. And so I encourage you, this is

  645. a great place to invest and sow seed because God is doing a

  646. great work through Love Quest. God is definitely doing a great

  647. work through Love Quest. All right, Amen.

  648. I want to make sure you believe it too, but I believe it.

  649. Quick scheduling note. So for Dynasty Wednesday, it's

  650. going to continue to be on Wednesday.

  651. We got some feedback from some people because we're looking to

  652. change the day, but because we want to make sure that everyone

  653. as who can can be there. We're going to keep it on

  654. Wednesdays. That will begin on October the

  655. first now scheduling note. So it's October the first.

  656. We're going to run to November 19 because after that we have

  657. the interruption Christmas activities going on, but the

  658. time will be 645. Everyone say 6:45 now did we do

  659. that just to be a little different maybe, but so it's

  660. memorable. It's 6:45 and it gives you an

  661. extra 15 minutes to get here. We're going to start again with

  662. our group discussions at the beginning of the experience.

  663. And we have always have an amazing time midweek here at

  664. Lovequest Church. So Dynasty Wednesdays still on

  665. Wednesdays starting October 1st, then Church in the Wild Pasta,

  666. Terence Terrence Richmond and the crew will be at Guilt Co on

  667. October the 10th at 9:30 PM in Vancouver.

  668. That's a 19 plus location. So you've got to be above 19 to

  669. a 10, but it's a great opportunity to support what God

  670. is doing here. And if you've been to a concert

  671. who's been to one of the concerts, Monsters got

  672. fantastic, right? It's a good time.

  673. I encourage you to come along because you're also investing in

  674. sewing into a exposure and being a light into that space.

  675. So I would encourage you to put that.

  676. So that's October 10th at 9:30 PM at Giltco and Co.

  677. And then Mocktails Toronto PT and the crew are heading to

  678. Toronto and want us to come along and be part of it.

  679. So we're going to have a Muktale Muktail's album released there

  680. in Toronto, and it'll be at El Macombo.

  681. Doors will open at 6:30, show is at 7:00 PM.

  682. Be a part of that. It's going to be great.

  683. And if you know anyone in the Toronto area, this is an

  684. opportunity to invite them to be a part of it as well.

  685. All right, God is good. I think we've established that I

  686. want to encourage you to remember to take it with you.

  687. Don't leave that revelation here at the door.

  688. Take that revelation and let it affect you in your prayer, in

  689. your the way you speak to people, and in the way you

  690. expect from God. We may be out of time and never

  691. out of Jesus. So until next time and get your

  692. love fixed man. The wisdom and the

  693. understanding, the spirit of counsel, the spirit of might,

  694. the spirit of knowledge we need. The fear of the Lord we want.

  695. The thank you so much for tuning into this week's sermon.

  696. We pray you were challenged, equipped and encouraged.

  697. Make sure to follow us on all platforms.

  698. That's lovequest intl church. We out here for real.

  699. We're really doing it. That's Facebook, Instagram,

  700. YouTube and TikTok. You can find us anywhere you

  701. need to find us. But until next time you know the

  702. drill. You know the motto, get your

  703. love fixed man and we'll see y'all real soon.
