you know. None decided.

None compares to him. There's no one like the Lord.

He's worthy. He's glorious.

He's magnificent, He is wonderful, He is the counselor,

He is the almighty God. The glory of the Lord shall be

revealed upon the earth, and the glory of the Lord shall come in

power to deliver, set free, redeem.

I thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord, You are worthy.

You are glorious. You are the mighty God and the

King of King. We bless you today.

Amen. Say to your neighbor, I'm in the

right place as you take your seats.

Amen, I'm in the right place. Welcome.

It's so great to have you at our noon experience and we're

excited because God is here. He is here in this place.

He is here ready to speak a word in season, to touch your heart.

The Holy Spirit is at work and the key is to go from statement

to belief. Not only do I say God is here, I

believe God is here and because God is here, He can do anything

He wants to do. He can speak a word and sees it.

He can convict me. He can shift me.

God is at work. So I encourage you receive what

he has for you today. I want to say thank you to

Pastor Terrence and Pastor Julia for the blessing that it is to

be able to speak here at our noon experience today.

Thank you so much for the leadership and the, the

pioneering spirit that you have to establish this work and to

establish what God has for this area.

We thank you. Today I'm going to be speaking

on the topic. There's actually the topic for

our year now, the beginning of the year on New Year's Eve.

Pastor Taran spoke and he said this is the year of the the fear

of God or the fog. You're right, either way, the

fear of God or the fog, the Lord is working, He is moving.

And recently, it was at the end of August, there was a word in

the house that the wind of the Spirit is blowing.

And the wind of the Spirit moves to reveal, to refresh, to to

encourage, and sometimes to expose.

Well, the wind of the spirit is moving to touch our life.

A part of the wind of the spirit is to reveal those things that

we've forgotten about. And as I was listening to Troy

and to Lily Cher, I was reminded about the importance of

remembrance. Now there's a little bit off

topic. I'll get back to topic, but I

really felt this is important. Some of you here today need to

reflect on where God has brought you from.

There's an old hymn and it says count your blessings.

What it means is take a moment, stop getting caught in the the

present or the urgency and stop and reflect.

Where has God brought you from? Where have you come from?

What has He done in your life? How has He moved in your life?

Well, I can't do this. I can't do that.

Yes, but, but did He help you? Then reflect.

Did He bring you out of that trouble?

Was He faithful there? He will be faithful here.

And sometimes we have to remember what He has brought you

through. We have to remember how far

we've come for some of us, man, we have I have peace in this

situation that would have thrown me right, man, I have patience

now for these people that I I'm just was ready to you know,

throttle. That's a word and but but

recognize what God has done and I want to encourage you, take

some time to see all that God has done and all that he has

positioned you with and all that he is working and maturing in

you because He is at work. The fear of the Lord.

Proverbs 9 verse 10 says the reverent and Worshipful fear of

Proverbs 9:10

the Lord is the beginning, the chief and choice part of wisdom

and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight and

understanding. Now this is great because it's

speaking to the fact that our fear of God is not a fear of

afraid to take you away, but it's actually a fear that draws

you near. The reverent and Worshipful awe

reverence of God draws us near and it's the beginning, the

chief and choicest part of wisdom.

Have you ever there's different types of steaks, anyone steak.

Yeah, I like steaks. Steaks are good.

Amen. Some don't that's OK more for me

the but there's choice cuts. There's certain parts that are

actually more flavorful than other parts.

Some you've got to marinate and soak in lots of stuff to make it

taste good. Other parts are just good.

The reverential fear of the Lord is the beginning, yes, but it's

also the the best part, the choice part.

It's the main part of wisdom. It's the part that's actually

the foundation of wisdom. And the knowledge of the Holy

One is insight and understanding.

See, part of our part of our progress in understanding the

fear of the Lord is first to say, who is he?

If I have the fear of God, who is he?

What, what has he done? Who is he?

How does he connect with me? And that's the knowledge of the

Holy One. The fear of God is based on a

recognition of who God is. Now, in just a minute, we're

going to read from Job 38 and we'll read from verse one, but I

wanted to get some information for you.

So when we're thinking about who God is, I mean, that's a pretty

big subject, right? Eternal.

It's pretty hard to pretty hard to judge, right?

Eternal is big. He's a big God, so I want to get

you some information that'll help you understand the bigness

of God. The earth's circumference is

about 40,000 kilometers, 40,000 kilometers.

That's a long way. So that's how how the

circumference of the the earth is 40,000 kilometers.

Who knows how much, what percentage of the Earth's

surface is water? A lot.

Anybody, anybody who's got a percentage, anyone close, close

7171 that's close. It's massive, right?

We think about how much land there is, how much of the world

is earth that we, we, we live in and we enjoy.

And yet 70% of the world is covered in water. 71% That's

crazy, right? Huge Mariana Trench.

The Mariana Trench is a trench that's the deepest part of the

ocean. OK, the Mariana Trench is 36,000

feet deep. It's deeper than the tallest

mountain above sea level, which is Mount Everest at 29,000 feet.

So these parts that are almost impossible to get to are deeper

than we know. OK, this is a this is a freaky

one. This is a crazy just because

sometimes, OK, who here? Sometimes when you think about

sea creatures, it gets a little bit like, eh, right.

You see some of these pictures and it's like, yeah, sharks, you

know, some of these things that and then you, you're in the in

the ocean and you step on the seaweed and it's like, what was

that seaweed? Was it jellyfish?

What was that? Anyway, maybe that's just me.

It is estimated that up to 2/3 of life in the deep oceans

remain unknown to science, with many new species still being

discovered each year. Overall, scientists believe

there may be between 700,000 and 2 million species in the ocean,

and a significant portion of that has yet to be identified.

Crazy. OK, The Sun.

So who likes who likes astronomy?

Astronomy, anyone? Yeah, yeah.

There you go. The sun is 150 million

kilometres from Earth. Pluto is 4.28 billion kilometres

from Earth, and then the Andromeda Galaxy is 23 million

trillion kilometres away, and that is a 23 with 18 zeros

behind it. OK, that's a lot.

A million trillion, yeah, a lot of zeros.

A lot of zeros. And so I want to preface this

word with that information. So we think about how vast the

Earth is, how full of different animals, how even some of the

deepest parts of our oceans we haven't even discovered yet, let

alone what's out there. OK, Job 38 in verse one.

Now who's here of Job? Yeah, a few of you.

For those who haven't, Joe, the experience of Job was he was

tested because he lost everything, lost his family,

lost everything. And then there's a series of

conversations between him and his wife, him and these Job's

friends. And at the end of the book, we

have about three chapters where God's speaking, and this is

Isaiah 38 · chapter mention

chapter 38, the first part of that.

And now finally, God answered Job from the eye of a violent

storm. He said, why do you confuse the

issue? Why do you talk without knowing

what you're talking about? Pull yourself together, job up

on your feet, Stand still. I have some questions for you,

and I want some straight answers.

Where were you when I created the Earth?

Tell me, since you know so much, who decided on its size?

Certainly you'll know that. Who came up with the blueprints

and measurements? How was the foundations poured

and who set the cornerstone while the morning stars sang in

chorus and all the angels shouted praise?

And who took charge of the ocean when it gushed forth like a baby

from the womb? That was me.

I wrapped it in soft clouds and tucked it in safely at night.

Then I made a playpen for it, a strong playpen so it couldn't

run loose, and said stay here, this is your place.

Your wild tantrums are confined to this place.

And have you ever ordered morning get up and told Dawn get

to work so you could seize earth like a blanket and shake out the

wicked like cockroaches? As the sun brings everything to

light, brings out all the colours and shapes, the cover of

darkness is snatched from the wicked.

They're caught in the very act. Have you ever gone to the true

bottom of things? Explore the labyrinthine caves

of deep ocean. Do you know the first thing

about death? Do you have one clue regarding

death's dark mysteries? And do you have any idea how

large this earth is? Speak up if you have even the

beginning of an answer. Do you know where light comes

from and where darkness lives? So you can take them by their

hand and leave them home when they get lost?

Why, of course, you know that you've known them all your life,

growing up in the same neighborhood with them.

Sounds like sarcasm. Have you ever travelled to where

snow is made? It's in the vault where the hail

is stockpiled. The arsenals of hail and snow

that I keep in readiness for times of trouble and battle and

war. Can you find your way to where

lightning is launched, or to the place from which the winds blow?

Who do you suppose carves canyons for the downpours of

rain and charts the route of thunderstorms that bring water

to unvisited fields, deserts no one ever lays eyes on, drenching

the useless wastelands so they are carpeted with wildflowers

and grass? And who do you think is the

father of rain and dew, the mother of ice and frost?

You don't for a minute imagine these marbles of weather just

happened to you. Can you catch the eye of the

beautiful Pleiades sisters that's a a constellation or

distract Orion from his hunt? Can you get Venus to look your

way or get the great bear and her Cubs to come out and play?

Do you know the first thing about the Sky's constellations

and how they affect things on Earth?

Can you get the attention of the clouds and the Commission a

shower of rain? Can you take charge of the

lightning bolts and have them report to you for orders?

Who do you think gave weather wisdom to the Ibis and storm

savvy to the rooster? Does anyone know enough to

number all the clouds or tip over the rain barrels of heaven

when the earth is cracked and dry, the ground baked hard as a

brick? Can you teach the lioness to

stalk her prey and satisfy the appetite of her Cubs as they

Crouch in their den, waiting hungrily in their cave?

And who sets out food for the Ravens when their young cry to

God fluttering about because they have no food?

He's saying, where were you when I created the Earth?

When I set the depths of the Mariana Trench?

Where were you when I set in place the Andromeda Galaxy and

the stars and the constellations?

Position them just right so that from Earth we can see a hunter,

though they might be millions of miles apart.

God created everything. He is the Lord of heaven and

earth. He is the one who positioned you

in this place to hear a word. He's the one who gives breath in

your lungs. God is big, He is great and He

is mighty and He is the Lord. In Luke 12 verses 2 to 5, Jesus

Luke 12:2–5

was speaking and this is to give perspective on whose voice we

should listen to. And Jesus says everything hidden

and covered up will soon be exposed, for the facade is

falling down and nothing will be kept secret for long.

Whatever you have spoken in private will be public

knowledge, and what you have whispered secretly behind closed

doors will be broadcast far and wide for all to hear.

Listen, my beloved friends, don't fear those who may want to

take your life but can do nothing more.

That would still disturb me if someone could take my life.

But he's giving a perspective. He says it's true, they may kill

your body, but they have no power over your soul.

The one you must fear is God, for he has both the power to

take your life and the authority to cast your soul into hell.

Yes, the only one you need to fear is God.

Now this is not a fear where I run away, but a fear where I

draw near because the King of Kings, he's actually called out

to us. You see, God Almighty, who we

just read about the one who positioned the earth there.

There's a fantastic section in in in the chapter Job 39 where

he talks about the the ostrich and he talks about how he makes

him a little bit stupid because he lays his eggs on the on the

ground rather than rather than finding a nest.

But he's saying I created all these things and the God of

heaven also said I love you, I love the world.

I love the world so much. I'm sending Jesus.

I love the world and my creation so much that I'm sending Jesus

to die, to live, to die and be resurrected so that we can

connect back to him. That's the power of it.

That's the glory of it. Is it God Almighty, the one who

is positioned that even the planets and the the galaxies

loves us so much that he said Jesus, he cared so much for you?

Because as much as His power is great, his his his capacity is

great. He is beyond our understanding.

So too is His love, deeper, wider, higher than we could ever

understand. His love is poured out for us

because He desires you. He desires me.

He wants relationship. He wants connection.

He wants to know you and to be known by you.

This is the heart of Father God. The fear of God brings us into

His presence in Psalm 25 and verse 14.

It's the psalmist writes the secret of the sweet satisfying

companionship of the Lord have they who fear him and he will

show them his covenant and reveal to them it's deep inner

meaning. This touches on the heart of the

Father. The heart of the Father is I

want relationship with you. So those who fear Him, the

secret of the sweet satisfying companionship of the Lord, that

time of connection, that time of of being loved by Him and

knowing Him, that is what He desires, that we would know Him.

And to those who fear God is also the second part.

He desires to reveal Himself to you, to reveal the secrets of

the covenant, to reveal the understanding of what He has

completed through Christ, to reveal more of Himself to you.

This this desire of Father is that He would have that intimacy

to have that heart connection and it's for those who fear the

Lord who draw near because of the greatness of God to come

into that place of his presence. One of the things when we, even

when we take time to pray and, and, and worship, sometimes we

could do it glibly because, you know, we're here and we're

engaged. We're just singing along, right?

But the Lord challenged me about a month or two ago and he said

to me, no more timid prayer and praise.

To be timid is to be shy, to be kind of uncertain.

But what he was sharing with me, what he's telling me was I don't

have to be like that. I can have confidence in my

prayer. I have confidence in my praise,

have a confidence that he who delivered me, he who loves me,

he who also set the stars in the sky and, and and set the the

Mariana Trench with this lots of weird deep ocean animals.

He's the same God, the same one who desires to know you, to be

in relationship with you. And so when I pray and when I

praise, I'm going to praise with confidence.

I'm going to praise Him with joy.

I'm going to praise Him with expectation.

I'm going to praise Him because what He said about me when I

pray, when I pray, I'm praying with confidence, knowing that He

hears my voice. I pray confidently that the King

of kings, the Lord of Lords, the one who set the boundaries of

the water, he is the one who I'm praying to.

It's a confidence rooted in the fear of God.

It's founded upon the fear of God or founded on this awe and

reverence for him, founded on a recognition of who he is.

The fear of God brings us to life.

Proverbs 14, verse 26 and 27. In the reverent and Worshipful

Proverbs 14:26

fear of the Lord, there is strong confidence.

What kind of confidence? Strong confidence, right.

In the reverent and Worshipful fear of the Lord, there is

strong confidence. And His children shall always

have a place of refuge. I'll say that one again.

And his children shall always have a place of refuge, always,

always have a home, always have that place, always reverend and

Worshipful. Fear of the Lord is a fountain

of life that one may avoid the stares of death.

The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life in you, a

fountain of life, of joy, of hope, of grace.

The fear of the Lord's a fountain.

There's so much in this scripture.

We get to have a strong confidence.

We have a safe home in Him and we have the very fountain of

life, the life giving spirit within.

The fear of God brings us to life.

The fear of God keeps you from sin.

Proverbs 3 verse 7 and 8. Don't be impressed with your own

Proverbs 3:7

wisdom. There's a good starting point,

right? It's interesting just two verses

before is trust in the Lord with all your heart.

Lean not on your own understanding in all your ways

acknowledge him. And here he repeats it again.

He says don't be impressed with your own wisdom.

Don't be impressed with what you've got.

Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil.

Then. So first point, right, fear the

Lord. Then you will have healing for

your body and strength for your bones.

This is a promise from heaven. That's a promise.

We don't need to be caught up in our own wisdom.

We get caught up in knowing God. We get caught up in the awe and

reverence of God, and then He takes what He's given you

because He gave it to you in the first place, and then He reveals

to you how to engage in that and then you will have healing for

your body. What a promise.

Father, I thank you for those who are in this house right now

who need healing in their body. Father, I pray right now by the

power of your spirit you would bring deliverance and healing in

Jesus name. We thank you Lord for your

mighty power to deliver and heal in the mighty name of Jesus.

Hallelujah, Proverbs 16, verse 6.

Proverbs 16:6

By mercy and love, truth and fidelity to God and man, not by

sacrificial offerings. Iniquity is purged out of the

heart. So not because of the

sacrifices, but because of the mercy and love and truth and

fidelity to God, our faith in God.

Fidelity is, in other words, is a faith, a faith in God.

I have faith in God. Iniquity is pushed out of our

hearts and by the reverent Worshipful fear of the Lord.

Men depart from and avoid evil. A indication that you have the

fear of God is that you'll flee evil.

Run from it. I quoted someone this non am

experience. Her name is Pastor Iverna

Tompkins. And she said once God's got a

hold of you, you're a terrible Sinner.

It just can't sin the same. It doesn't work.

It doesn't quite work the same way because now I've got the

Holy Spirit checking me, right? The Holy Spirit's in there.

And she was telling the story because she was running away

from the call of God on her life.

And she said, oh, this is a bad movie.

You know, God won't be here. So she goes, this movie is bad

apparently, and she's sitting in there and then God speaks to her

all she's in the movie theater and she says, Lord, what are you

doing in here? This isn't a good movie.

It's like, well, he's everywhere, but that's the

another side, right? But when the Holy Spirit is

engaged in your life and you have the fear of the Lord, a

conviction hits you. Now we can attempt to deaden

that conviction over time, but that is a rebellion against what

God is wanting to do in you, because the conviction of the

Lord is to bring us back into alignment with His purposes.

The conviction of the Lord is to actually heal.

The conviction of the Lord is actually to bring you home.

The conviction of the Holy Spirit is there so that you can

come back into the place God wants you to be, so He can bless

you and lead you and guide you. The conviction of the Lord is a

realignment, and we agree with that realignment when we repent

to turn around and have that new engagement of fixing our eyes on

Jesus. But that's the love of God.

So the fear of God keeps you from sin.

The fear of God obeys his commands.

Now, I find people don't like this one very much, not always

because there's a demand upon you.

There's a demand on the way we live.

Let's read the verse from first John chapter 5.

1 John 5 · chapter mention

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the desire is God's spiritual

child and has been fathered by God himself.

And everyone who loves Father God loves his children as well.

See how that works? In fact, in first John, he's

very heavy on if you can't love your fellow believer, how can

you say you walk in the love of God?

And here he's saying everyone who loves the Father also loves

his children as well. And this is how we can be sure

that we love the children of God, by having a passionate love

for God and by obedience to his commands, a passionate love for

God. But the passionate love for God

cannot be separated from obedience to his commands,

obedience to his teaching, obedience to what He's called us

to. You can't say you love Him and

not be obedient to what He's called you to, not be obedient

to what He says for you to do in the Word, which is to love.

So the fear of God actually brings us to a place where we

desire to obey Him. We have a a heart connection

where our desire is to please Him.

He continues on to say true love for God means obeying His

commands, and His commands don't weigh us down as heavy burdens.

Jesus said my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

He actually takes on our burden of sin and replaces it with a

call to follow Him, surrender to Him, yield to Him.

His commands aren't heavy. His call is not to weigh us

down, but rather to bring us to a place of victory.

You see, every child of God overcomes the world.

For our faith is the victorious power that triumphs over the

world. So who are the world conquerors

defeating its power? Those who believe that Jesus is

the Son of God. So as we come into that place

of, of submission and we come to that place of, of, of taking on

what he calls us to do, of taking on the, the, the

teachings, taking on the, the commands that he has for us,

we're actually positioning ourselves to walk in the victory

that he has. He says at the end, who are

those who defeat the world's powers is those who believe that

Jesus is the Son of God. When you believe that Jesus is

the Son of God, when you believe it, you have the fear of God

because you also have to believe that the Father sent him.

You also have to believe that he was resurrected from the dead.

And you also have to have to believe that that means my life

is changed. And you also believe that now

the Spirit of the living God dwells within me.

It's all wrapped up. It's all part of the same gift.

And so now as we are learning to walk out this faith, learning to

walk humbly under the fear of God, we actually have promises

attached to it. The promises of grace, the

promises of hope, the promises of salvation, but and salvation

not just when we get to heaven. It's not a golden ticket, but

salvation of how we live now, body, soul and spirits.

How our soul is how how our bodies are, how our spirit is

alive. Out of the fear of God.

He's working to mature, perfect and develop us and to mould us

into his image. He desires that relationship and

I'll end with this one. The fear of God walks humbly

before God in Acts 9 verse 31. This is at a time where the

Acts 9:31

church has been growing and then been persecuted as Saul was out

there causing trouble. And then Saul has this encounter

with Jesus, the risen Jesus. He falls off his horse and Jesus

speaks to him, says why do you hate me?

What are you doing? And Saul's eyes are blinded.

He comes to to Damascus, and then Ananias is sent there three

days later to pray with him. And he gets radically

transformed. And the first thing he wants to

do is run out and tell everybody.

And then people start going, hang on, isn't this the guy who

is just putting the Christians in prison?

And now he's the one telling us all about this Jesus, hang on,

this is the guy who just a little while ago was was was

telling us how bad they were and uttering threats so that they

we'd imprison them and take them from their families.

And now what is this? Well, he had he's talked so

much, he had to leave the city in a hurry.

He comes to Jerusalem and in Jerusalem, of course, they

haven't heard yet. They didn't know what was going

on. And then Barnabas brings them to

the apostles and says this is his experience, this is what God

has done in Paul's life. And so this is a wild time.

And it we read in Acts 9, verse 31.

Acts 9:31

So the church throughout the whole of Judea and Galilee and

Samaria had peace and was edified, growing in wisdom,

virtue and piety. And this they were walking in

the respect and reverential fear of the Lord and in the

consolation and exhortation of the Holy Spirit.

So they were walking in the fear of God.

That means they're living their life under the fear of God.

They're living their life in a way that honoured Him.

They're living their lives in a way that that recognise who he

is. And then they were living and

walking by the Holy Spirit, allowing the Holy Spirit to

direct their path. And those two things together

meant there was continued increase and they were

multiplied. The church was multiplied, great

growth, great harvest, because they set their hearts before the

Lord. They set themselves before God

in the fear of God to walk in His ways.

I want to encourage you today. The fear of God is the starting

point of a revolution in your life.

The fear of God is that place of recognition of who He is, what

He's done for you, and that His love was poured out for you.

In the fear of God, we find the safest place in the reverential

awe of God. Recognizing who He is, we come

to that place where He can move. We saw it in the Scriptures.

The fear of God can lead to healing.

The fear of God, it creates a space of safety.

The fear of God creates an incredible relationship.

The fear of God brings opens the fountains of life.

The fear of God is a position of recognizing who He is.

In some of the great revivals, the fear of God brings people to

repentance. See God's good and and in His

goodness. His desire is your salvation.

In His goodness and His love, His desire is for you had to

have a life filled with Him. In His goodness He wants you to

know why you were made you. In His goodness, He desires to

walk with you. And if you take just a few

minutes to consider that, the Lord who made heaven and earth,

the Lord who set the paths of the planets, The Lord who weighs

the stars in his hands. The Lord who set the boundaries

of the oceans. The Lord who created the deepest

ocean for our interest. The Lord who created the stars

so we could study them. The Lord who created the

creative God. The Lord who put all these

things in place. The Lord who knew you before you

were born. The Lord who actually put in

place and knows even the hairs on your head.

The Lord God Almighty desires to walk with you and he not only

desired it, he put in place a new covenant so we could walk in

it. It's very difficult.

I, I remember, I remember preaching when I, I was 19, I, I

preached a word on the glory of God.

And it was, yeah, it was OK. God still honoured it, but I

remember my dad saying we need to talk about the glory is

better felt than tilt. See, I, I can, I can talk about

how big God is. I can talk about what he

desires, but you need a revelation.

We all need a revelation. I need to be reminded, I need to

be reminded that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead

dwells in me. And I keep saying it and I keep

saying it, but now I'm going to believe it.

So it changes me. I got to come to that place

where I recognize that He is in fact alive in me.

So my prayer for you today is that you get a revelation of the

bigness of God, that you get a revelation of how much he loves

you, that you get a revelation that the God of the expanse of

the universe loves you and desires to be in relationship

with you if you will turn to him.

Let's pray, Father God. Thank you Lord, I pray that each

person here will get a revelation of what it means to

know you, the Lord. They get a revelation in their

hearts of how you want to move in them and with them.

Lord, I pray we get a revelation that you desire to walk with us

as you as you walked with Adam in the garden that we'd have

ears to hear. Not so busy by the world that we

do not take time. Not so busy by our schedules.

Not so busy by our, our, our thought patterns.

Not so busy by the social media that hits US.

Not so busy by the information we get hit with, but actually

take that time to recognize the most important thing.

Father, thank you. We thank you today.

Thank you for your word that teaches us.

Thank you for your Holy Spirit, who is our God.

Thank you, Lord, that you desire to teach us so we can know you

and know your ways. Our Father God, I thank you that

during this week you remind us. You remind us of how far we've

come. You remind us of what you've

done. You remind us, Lord, of your

love. You remind us, Lord, that we can

walk in the fear of God and we will come to a revelation that

will change our lives. That revelation of you.

Father, I thank you. I thank you for your goodness, I

thank you for your love, and I thank you for all who came here

today. I praise you, Lord, You are at

work. That's a declaration, not a

question. Lord, I thank you.

You are at work both to will and to do of your good pleasure.

You are at work in our lives. You are at work.

We praise you, we celebrate you, we rejoice in you, Lord, and we

thank you for your goodness. In Jesus name, Amen.
