  1. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International

  2. Church Podcast where we seek to love all nations, equip the

  3. church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.

  4. We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever

  5. you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get

  6. your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe

  7. some tea, and get ready to receive.

  8. It's go time. Let's get into it.

  9. Is he worthy, church? Is Jesus worthy of the highest

  10. grade? Yes He is.

  11. God paid the highest price for your salvation.

  12. The least we can do is give Him the highest praise.

  13. He is worthy of it all. Earlier in that song we were

  14. singing that he does all things well.

  15. And the Lord impressed on my heart to share with you that

  16. each and everyone of you are a thing that God has done and he

  17. has done well with you. And whether you've heard it or

  18. not, God is well pleased with you, son.

  19. God is well pleased with you, daughter.

  20. And maybe you've you've heard otherwise in your life up until

  21. now, but the Lord brought you here this morning for you to

  22. hear that God is well pleased with you.

  23. You are not a mistake, you are not a failure, God is not done

  24. with you. The Lord has done well with you,

  25. and Jesus is here to redeem every area of your life because

  26. you are more than a conqueror in Christ.

  27. Hallelujah, Hallelujah. He is worthy of the highest

  28. praise. Amen.

  29. Amen. Turn to your neighbor and say he

  30. is so worthy as you take your seat in Jesus name.

  31. Hallelujah. Wow you guys really went off.

  32. That was great. Aren't we blessed with an

  33. amazing worship team here? Love Quest, Give it up for the

  34. worship team. We are spoiled.

  35. We are spoiled with anointed musicians and singers.

  36. What a privilege it is to be in the House of the Lord this day.

  37. Welcome each and everyone of you to the presence of the Lord.

  38. I'm so glad each and everyone of you are here today.

  39. It really encourages me honestly to see each and everyone of my

  40. brothers and sisters of Christ gather here for the same reason,

  41. to encounter the Lord and experience His love and His

  42. grace in a new, fresh way this day.

  43. David said. I was glad when they said unto

  44. me, let us go into the House of the Lord.

  45. And that's me today. I'm super glad to be here.

  46. My name is Dylan, and I'm one of the ordained pastors here at

  47. Love Quest International Church, and I want to begin by just

  48. giving honor where honor is due, and that is to my dear pastors,

  49. the lead pastors of this church, Pastor Terence and Pastor Julia.

  50. I thank you guys so much for just entrusting me with this

  51. opportunity to bring the Word here today.

  52. I also thank you for leading me and truly covering me as you

  53. carry the Father's heart and the Father's love and all that you

  54. do. This church would not be here if

  55. it wasn't for your faithfulness to the call that the Lord has

  56. for each of you. And I'm just so grateful and I

  57. know many lives have been impacted and will continue to be

  58. impacted as God does a good work through you guys.

  59. So thank you pastors, for this opportunity.

  60. Does anyone remember New Year's of 2024 going into 2025?

  61. The Lord gave Pastor Terence a theme for 2025.

  62. Do you guys remember what that theme is?

  63. Shout it out if you do. The spirit of the fear of God

  64. and there is more to it. It was about a life of awe and

  65. wonder, and the Lord truly desires for the church to grow

  66. in the spirit of the fear of God.

  67. Why? Because as we grow in the spirit

  68. of the fear of God, that's where we really crossover and into

  69. this place of awe and we start to experience the wonders of

  70. God. And so this morning I'm going to

  71. continue to preach on the fear of God.

  72. And the fear of God is kind of sounds intimidating at first,

  73. doesn't it? This, this word fear doesn't

  74. always just sit right. And So what business does fear

  75. and God have doing in the same sentence?

  76. But this fear of God is not speaking to being afraid of God.

  77. This fear speaks of a Worshipful reverence towards the Lord, a

  78. respect and awareness of God and all that He is and all that He

  79. has done. And we are to carry this

  80. reverence into every area of our life.

  81. It's not just something we pick up on Sundays, it's not

  82. something we bring to midweek service on Wednesdays or just a

  83. prayer on Saturdays. The spirit of the fear of God we

  84. are to carry in every area of our life.

  85. Amen. Amen.

  86. And so as I was just meditating on what is the essence of the

  87. fear of God, Lord, what revelation would you have me

  88. share with the church when it comes to the fear of God?

  89. And the Lord gave me the picture of what it might have been like

  90. when man first discovered fire. You can go ahead and put the

  91. first slide up. I'm going to be preaching to you

  92. on the fear of God living and in spirit and in truth.

  93. And so as I was meditating on Lord, bring fresh revelation to

  94. me on what the fear of God may look like in a believer's life.

  95. And he showed me the picture of man first discovering fire.

  96. Up until this point, this man had to live and exist in a cold

  97. and Dark World. Imagine on a morning like this

  98. morning where it's raining sideways and the wind is blowing

  99. and it's cold and it's dark out. All the man knew up until that

  100. point in the winter season was coldness, until one day they

  101. encounter the comfort of a burning fire.

  102. What would have that meant to that man in that moment to 1st

  103. encounter fire? Well, fire represents warmth.

  104. Fire came to help that man survive through the cold winter

  105. nights where up until before then they might have just had

  106. the comfort of a cave or might have had animals hide to wrap

  107. around to stay warm. But the fire came as a companion

  108. to bring warmth. Fire came as a means to now cook

  109. food and sanitize water, so fire brings a level of nutrition to

  110. man's life. Fire also brought protection

  111. from predators as fire would be used to ward off predators and

  112. and enemies. Fire was used to create

  113. technology for pottery and for forging metal into weapons.

  114. So fire brought a level of weaponry.

  115. And so the same way that fire so drastically impacted mankind,

  116. fire is what marked mankind from simply just existing in the

  117. world to start, to begin to shape the world that man lives

  118. in, in every area of man's life. And so it is with the believer

  119. the moment that we first discover the light of salvation,

  120. Jesus Christ, the light of the world who came in darkness, that

  121. we may find life and life in abundance.

  122. And now, church, every area of our life is to be impacted

  123. because we now, by the blood of Jesus Christ have been purified

  124. to receive the Holy Spirit, our Comforter.

  125. Jesus came to disarm the power of the enemy protection, the

  126. word of God, which is spirit is, and life comes as nourishment to

  127. our soul. And so the fear of God is simply

  128. the awareness of the salvation that we have in the Lord in

  129. every area of our life. And to live and exist in this

  130. reverential respect and awareness of God.

  131. That's what it means to live in the fearness fear of God.

  132. And so we're going to unpack this word fear of God living in

  133. spirit and in truth. Does that sound good to you?

  134. All right, now you guys can help me out.

  135. I know that we're just coming into winter time and it's a

  136. little gloomy outside. But who knows that we have the

  137. bright morning sun within each and every one of us?

  138. Who knows that Jesus Christ, the hope of the world, lives in each

  139. and every one of us. We got good news and we got

  140. reasons to shout. We got reasons to praise.

  141. We got reasons to say Amen. So you can help me in delivering

  142. this word this morning. And so the fear of God is not

  143. being afraid of God. It speaks to reverence.

  144. Proverbs 1923 says the reverence.

  145. Can you say reverence, Worshipful fear of the Lord

  146. leads to life and he who has it rests satisfied?

  147. Isn't that the pursuit of each and every one of us is to rest

  148. satisfied to come to this place of contentment, to find peace,

  149. to arrive? It's it's all of our souls

  150. desire to find rest and be satisfied.

  151. The man who carries the fear of the Lord, the Word says, cannot

  152. be visited with actual evil. So if I walk in the reverential

  153. fear of God, the Word of God promises that I will find life

  154. and life in abundance. The Word of God says that I will

  155. be satisfied and I'll find rest for my soul.

  156. The the Bible also says that I will not be visited with actual

  157. evil because Jesus Christ came to disarm the power of the evil.

  158. 1 John 1010 says that the thief, the enemy comes to steal, kill

  159. and destroy. But Jesus says, I have come to

  160. bring life and life in abundance.

  161. And so walking in the fear of God leads us to life, leads us

  162. to a refreshing place of satisfaction as well as a place

  163. of divine protection when we walk in the awareness of the

  164. Lord. This word reverence means a deep

  165. respect for someone or something other words that be that can be

  166. interchanged with the word reverence would be respectful,

  167. Worshipful, adoring, loving, admiring, devoted, dutiful,

  168. obedient, odd, submissive, humble and meek.

  169. And now think about the initial imagery that I put before you

  170. guys as a believer walking in the fear of God might be of that

  171. of when mankind first discovered fire, how they walked and

  172. conducted themselves with this fire.

  173. They respected that fire. Remember that fire brought a

  174. greater ability to live and flourish.

  175. They they respected that. They loved that fire.

  176. They admired that fire. They devoted themselves to

  177. collecting firewood to keep that fire ripping and keeping them

  178. warm. They were dutiful to steward

  179. that fire, make sure that fire didn't go out during the cold

  180. winter season. They awed over that fire.

  181. Have you ever felt found yourself lost just staring into

  182. a fire or the flame of a candle? Something about that fire just

  183. sucks you in and mesmerizes you. Submissive, humble, meek.

  184. When we truly understand the greatness of our God, the love

  185. of our God, the beauty and majesty of our God, it consumes

  186. you. It sucks you in like the like

  187. the your gaze into that fire. The fear of God is to know God.

  188. Elder Brett did a phenomenal job preaching on the fear of God

  189. last Sunday, and he spoke to the vastness of God, the omnipotent

  190. omniscience of God, the all powerful, all knowing.

  191. He created the heavens and the earth.

  192. And so to truly walk in reverence or respect towards

  193. someone, we need to properly know that person in order to

  194. know how to correctly position ourselves before that person.

  195. The Bible says that God is spirit and we are Tri part

  196. beings. We are spirit, we were created

  197. in the image of likeness. Genesis 126 says we possess a

  198. soul, which is our mind, our will and our emotions, and we

  199. live in these temporary bodies, these earth suits, these

  200. vessels, and so there is 3 parts to us.

  201. Now the body part of us has a sinful nature.

  202. We inherited from our ancestors Adam and Eve, and they in sin

  203. entered into mankind the moment that Adam and Eve disobeyed the

  204. Lord's word and command, and they stepped out from under the

  205. Lord's covering. And so there is a part of us,

  206. Romans 8, the mind of the flesh, that is at war against the mind

  207. of the spirit, the other part of us.

  208. And our soul is caught somewhere in between this war.

  209. And if God is a spirit, we have an obligation to cater to our

  210. spirit man more than our flesh man in order to engage or

  211. posture ourselves right before God.

  212. The Bible goes on to say in John 4 verse 24, God is a spirit, a

    John 4:24

  213. spiritual being, and those who worship him or those who engage

  214. him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

  215. Worshiping the Lord is more than just physically showing up.

  216. Me just walking through the tent and into this sanctuary when

  217. praise and worship is going on and singing along with the words

  218. on the screen is not worship in and of itself.

  219. Worship is a heart posture. Worship comes from a place of a

  220. pure heart, and that pure heart is only made available through

  221. the revelation of the truth of God.

  222. Pure heart being right before God, being righteous is only by

  223. the good news of salvation. It's only found in Jesus Christ.

  224. And so to worship God, he's looking for those that worship

  225. Him in spirit and in truth, those that walk in the true

  226. salvation of Jesus Christ, and those who stand on the Word of

  227. God, knowing that they are right before him and are able to

  228. release a fragrance of worship that is pleasing unto Him.

  229. And so going through the notions as Christians will not cause us

  230. to draw close to the Lord. The Lord is looking for those

  231. who are willing to be led by the Spirit of God in every area of

  232. their life. To truly walk in the fear and

  233. reverence of God is to live a spirit LED life.

  234. I'm not being conformed by this world, but I am being led by the

  235. Holy Spirit and constantly renewing my mind with the Word

  236. of God. And that is the hour that we are

  237. in. We are a church that is truly

  238. after being led by the Spirit to truly engage in the Lord with a

  239. pure worship. And there is a strong anointing

  240. on this house for worship. The fear of God is to engage

  241. with God in spirit. There once was a time where my

  242. spirit man was dead and I was led by the flesh.

  243. But now I have my new creation in Christ.

  244. My spirit man is alive, the fire of God is alive and well within

  245. me, and now it is time to live a life, walking with God, talking

  246. with God, abiding in God. Hebrews 4.

  247. Before that, God's word is truth.

  248. He's looking for those that worship Him in spirit and truth.

  249. And as we are learning what it means to walk in a greater

  250. measure of the fear of God, we must decide within us.

  251. God's Word is the ultimate truth.

  252. In John One it says that Jesus was the word that became flesh.

  253. So Jesus fully God humbled himself and became man in order

  254. that he could live a life free of sin and pay the penalty for

  255. our sin that we may find salvation.

  256. So salvation originated in the Spirit.

  257. The Bible also says in John 1 that all things God spoke

  258. creation into existence, that Jesus is the Word and nothing

  259. came into existence apart from the Word.

  260. So we see in John one that Jesus is the word of God and that the

  261. word of God is truth. Hebrews 4 verse 12 says for the

    Hebrews 4:12

  262. word of God is living and powerful, turn to your neighbor

  263. and say it's alive and it's powerful all right and sharper

  264. than any 2 edged sword. I'll take it from here.

  265. Piercing even to the division of soul and spirit.

  266. So we see here the Word of God is sharper than a double edged

  267. sword. And there and there.

  268. And we are a tripart being, remember?

  269. And the Word of God comes to separate between soul and

  270. spirit, and the Lord desires for us to walk in the spirit.

  271. And the Word of God comes to tell us when it's our soul that

  272. is responding to the circumstance right now.

  273. Verse This is how the Holy Spirit would have you respond to

  274. this circumstance right now. It's a double edged sword,

  275. piercing even to the division of soul and spirits and of joints

  276. and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the

  277. heart. And so we need to make up within

  278. our hearts that we are going to be believers that stand on the

  279. on the truth. We don't ignore the facts of

  280. this world, but we stand on the truth as our bottom line because

  281. we are in this world and not of this world.

  282. There is an enemy who the Bible refers to as the God of this

  283. world, Satan. He is the author of sickness and

  284. he has an agenda to steal, kill and destroy.

  285. And so when we see things happening in this world around

  286. us, we cannot allow that to steal our peace or determine the

  287. way we respond if what is happening around us does not

  288. align with the Word of God. I have a right to stand on the

  289. Word of God as my truth and command things to come into

  290. alignment with the Word of God. I'm not going to allow the

  291. situation in the natural to steal my peace, which is

  292. supernatural. Jesus says to me, says to us, My

  293. peace I leave with you, not as the world gives peace, but my

  294. peace which surpasses all understanding.

  295. The word of God has the ability to bypass your understanding.

  296. But in order to cross into this place of peace that surpasses

  297. understanding, we must forfeit our right to have to understand

  298. everything. But if the word of God says

  299. peace belongs to me in the midst of chaos, in the midst of

  300. storms, I have a right to stand on that, believe that, and

  301. declare that. And so God is Spirit.

  302. So we must learn to engage him in spirit and stand on His word,

  303. which is Spirit as our ultimate truth.

  304. And this is in every area of our life when it comes to sickness.

  305. These natural bodies may be attacked with sickness.

  306. But the Bible says in Isaiah 53 that by the stripes of Jesus, I

  307. am healed by the finished work of the cross.

  308. I have a right through my sniffles, through my cough to

  309. say thank you Jesus, that by your stripes I am the healed and

  310. not the sick because the truth has the last say in my life.

  311. God's word is truth. John 17 verse 17 says this is

    John 17:17

  312. Jesus praying for his followers. He asked the Father, sanctify

  313. them, purify, consecrate, separate them for yourself.

  314. Make them holy by the truth. Your Word is truth.

  315. We see that the Word has the ability to purify us, to cleanse

  316. us, to consecrate us. The Word has the ability to make

  317. us holy. And so as followers of Christ,

  318. those who walk in the spirit of the fear of God, we prioritize

  319. the Word of God. For Jesus is the Word who came

  320. to bring us salvation, who came to sanctify us.

  321. And so when we engage with the Word of God, when we speak the

  322. Word of God, when we meditate on the Word of God, we are

  323. purifying our hearts to walk in the power and the love of God.

  324. Hallelujah, that's good stuff. John 8 So Jesus said to those

  325. Jews who had believed him, If you abide in my word, hold fast

  326. to my teachings and live in accordance with them, and live

  327. in accordance with them, you are truly my disciples, and you will

  328. know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

  329. It's the one that abides in the word of God, the one who truly

  330. applies the word of God. Jesus says the wise man is the

  331. one who hears his word and applies them to his life and is

  332. likened to the man that builds his life on the rock.

  333. Firm foundation. The word of God is a firm

  334. foundation for us to live. And he goes on to say that you

  335. will know the truth as you live and apply it to every area of

  336. your life. You will come to this place of

  337. knowing the truth through application, through exercise,

  338. through putting this thing to the test, and you will know the

  339. truth, and the truth will set you free.

  340. But it's only the truth that you know through experience that

  341. will set you free. So when the enemy comes to try

  342. you at the time of temptation, or when anxiety or fear comes

  343. knocking at your door, you can tell that devil who the sun sets

  344. free is free indeed. And that's me.

  345. I am the redeemed of the Lord, and I say so.

  346. I am the head and not the tail. I am a son of the living God.

  347. And so it takes abiding and living and practically applying

  348. the Word of God in your life and speaking the Word of God out

  349. against thoughts in your own mind to truly start to know the

  350. truth and to truly experience the freedom that knowing the

  351. truth brings. Amen.

  352. And so we don't just read the Bible simply to memorize

  353. scriptures. We don't just read the Bible to

  354. know facts about history, though those things are great.

  355. But we read the Word to build a relationship with the Word.

  356. We read the Word which is alive, which is active, which is

  357. spirit, and which is life, to encounter our Father in heaven

  358. to build a relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

  359. He will meet you in your Bible when you open up that Bible to

  360. for the purpose alone of encountering Jesus Christ.

  361. He desires to meet you in the Word of God.

  362. I challenge you see your word in a fresh way as a meeting place

  363. for you and the Lord. The Word of God is a place for

  364. us to camp out and find refuge in the presence of the Lord.

  365. Psalm 23 is one of my favorite campsites to go and just hang

  366. out in the presence of God, especially if I'm going through

  367. a rough season, the winds are kicking up around me and it's

  368. stormy out. I just need to know that the

  369. Lord is my shepherd and I shall want for nothing, and that He's

  370. the one that leads me along still waters.

  371. He's the one that causes me to lay down in green pastures.

  372. He is the one that refreshes my soul.

  373. But sometimes I'm looking to the world to refresh my soul.

  374. Sometimes I'm looking for guidance in career or finances,

  375. or sometimes I just get off track and I need to go back to

  376. the Word of God to encounter my Good Shepherd.

  377. The Lord desires to abide with you in His Word.

  378. The fear of God means to let God's Word reign supreme in your

  379. life. That the Word of God has the

  380. final say in every area of my life when it is easy and

  381. beneficial and when it is not so easy and is challenging my flesh

  382. or is challenging my soul. Or there's times where I just

  383. feel like being sorry for myself.

  384. But I'm choosing to let the Word have final say in my life and

  385. out of my mouth I begin to speak and declare the word over my

  386. soul as David taught us to encourage himself in the Lord.

  387. David was always found speaking to his soul as if it was another

  388. person, which I truly, I think that that is awesome and I've

  389. learned start doing that myself. Stay steadfast.

  390. Oh my soul, remember the goodness of the Lord.

  391. And so I'm going to choose to allow God's word to reign in my

  392. life. I'm making a, I'm making a

  393. specific choice to not allow my emotions and not allow my facts

  394. to determine the way that I act or respond or move.

  395. That is a decision, Saints, that you have to make before trial

  396. comes knocking at your door. Pastor said something very

  397. profound. He says the grace of God comes

  398. on the other side of a made-up mind.

  399. There's no grace for double mindedness.

  400. And if I am finding myself stuck in between my emotions and the

  401. word of God and there's a wrestle that place, that means

  402. the mind of the flesh still has power in your life.

  403. But I'm desiring for the Spirit of God to move in the in the

  404. mind of the Spirit in my life. There is 2 minds that are at war

  405. within you and that is called a double minded person.

  406. And the Bible says a double minded person should not expect

  407. to get receive anything they ask of the Lord for they are

  408. unstable in all of their ways. And so we have to make a

  409. cognitive decision that the word of God, which is spirit and

  410. truth, that's going to have the final say in my life.

  411. At the time when I'm frustrated, when I'm angry, when I'm

  412. emotional, I've already made-up my mind.

  413. The word of God is going to win in this battle.

  414. And love, God is love and love always wins.

  415. God is love, right? To walk in the reverential fear

  416. of God, we must know God. God is love, the real love,

  417. agape love. It's that spirit love.

  418. It's a love that's different than the love that we were once

  419. used to before we found new life in Christ.

  420. The world offers conditional love.

  421. You have to earn my affection. But God's love is a love

  422. unconditional, unlike we've ever experienced before.

  423. For God so loved the world that he gave his best.

  424. While we were yet sinners, while we were enemies of God, He gave

  425. his best that we may not perish but have eternal life.

  426. We must become acquainted with the agape love of God to walk in

  427. the reverential fear of God who knows that when you are born

  428. again you are born into a new Kingdom, which is a new way of

  429. life. Jesus refers to his Kingdom as

  430. an upside down Kingdom. The world will tell you eye for

  431. an eye, tooth for a tooth. You do bad to me, I'm going to

  432. do even worse to you. I'm a return evil with evil.

  433. But Jesus says Nah, Nah Nah Nah, not in my Kingdom.

  434. In my Kingdom you are to love your enemies and pray for those

  435. who persecute you. God is love and love always

  436. wins. We must become acquainted with

  437. love so that in these times when it's hard to love, our response

  438. is not evil, but we choose love, and God is the only one that can

  439. change your enemy's heart in that moment.

  440. So why not bring God into the equation by responding evil,

  441. returning evil with love? Love always wins, doesn't it?

  442. It's true. 1 John 4 verse 16. The Bible says God is love, and

    1 John 4:16

  443. he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in

  444. God, and God dwells and continues in him.

  445. And it's this idea that when we are faithful to choose love, we

  446. are dwelling and continuing to dwell in love.

  447. I love how it says and continues and continues.

  448. It reminds me of when Paul encourages us, encourages us.

  449. Do not grow weary in well doing for a due season.

  450. You shall reap if you faint not. God is faithful that when we

  451. continue to pursue and live in love that He will continue to

  452. pursue us and dwell in us as we dwell in Him.

  453. The Lord gave me this revelation about continuing on in love that

  454. who knows that it's not always easy to walk in love.

  455. Have you experienced it's challenging, right?

  456. Well, love tests brings out Love's best.

  457. It's an opportunity. To demonstrate the greatest

  458. love, the unearned love, the undeserved love, the uncalled

  459. for love so love test. You can see it as aw man this is

  460. awful. Why are you testing my love

  461. right now? Or you could be excited.

  462. This is an opportunity to share the love of God right now and

  463. for me to become more like my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

  464. Remember Jesus's love was so great that as the ones who

  465. crucified nailed them to the cross, he said, Father forgive

  466. them for they know not what they are doing right now.

  467. That kind of love. That's the love that we are

  468. called to walk in. God is love.

  469. And so love tests bring out Love's best, but sometimes we

  470. might fall short and and the love test might bring out the

  471. worst in US. Can anyone else to testify to

  472. that? I know I've had moments where I

  473. dropped in an oof, That's not how I wanted to respond.

  474. That's not what my loved ones deserve in that moment.

  475. But it's an opportunity to allow the love test to bring the worst

  476. out of you and allow it to stay out of you once and for all.

  477. You can make a decision right then and there.

  478. That's the last time that that's going to happen.

  479. God's love and mercy is new for you every day.

  480. The fear of God is to dwell and continue in God's love.

  481. John 3 verse 35. Jesus answered him.

    John 3:35

  482. I assure you most solemnly I tell you, this is what Jesus is

  483. talking to Nicodemus. Unless a person is born again,

  484. shout out, born again anew from above, he cannot ever see, know,

  485. be acquainted with and experience the Kingdom of God.

  486. So Jesus is telling this man, in order to experience this new

  487. Kingdom I come to establish, you have to be born again of the

  488. water and of the Spirit. You have to be cleansed by the

  489. blood of Jesus and filled with the infilling of the Holy Spirit

  490. in order to walk and live and exist in this new Kingdom.

  491. And what we have to be OK with church is, is if I am being born

  492. again in the Spirit, that means that I am being made a baby in

  493. the spirit realm and I have to be OK with being re fathered and

  494. brought up in the way that I should go.

  495. Because up until this point in my life, I was raised by the

  496. world, the world system, or I was raised by an earthly father

  497. that was doing their best. But there comes a time where we

  498. need to be raised by our heavenly Father, our spiritual

  499. Father, and we must carry the spirit of the fear of God, this

  500. reverence towards our spiritual Father, to allow him to raise us

  501. up as spiritual children and for him to raise us in the way that

  502. we should go. Acts 17 says, For in Him Jesus

  503. Christ, that is, we live and we move, and we have our being, as

  504. also some of your own poets have said, for we also are his

  505. offspring. God did not leave us here on

  506. earth as orphans. He did not leave us here to

  507. figure things out on our own. But the Bible says that we are

  508. no longer outsiders, but we are members of the family of God.

  509. We have received the same spirit of sonship that Jesus Christ

  510. himself walked in. And so the fear of God is to

  511. live, is to move, and it is to be in Christ.

  512. It's no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.

  513. The fear of God is for that to be your daily declaration.

  514. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me at the

  515. moment of temptation and trial. It is no longer I who live, but

  516. Christ who lives in me. The moment we follow Jesus,

  517. decide to be a a a follower of Christ, it's no longer about me.

  518. It's about Jesus and everybody else.

  519. And the sooner we come to that revelation, the sooner we come

  520. into the peace of God that transcends all understanding.

  521. Hallelujah, Hebrews 12. I'm a close on this.

  522. Let us therefore, receiving a Kingdom that is firm and stable

  523. and cannot be shaken, us who have chosen to build our lives

  524. upon the rock which is our firm foundation, Let us offer to God

  525. pleasing service and acceptable worship, spirit truth with

  526. modesty and peace, care and godly fear and awe.

  527. For God is indeed a consuming fire.

  528. Church, the Lord desires to consume every area of your life,

  529. not to take anything from you, but to give you everything.

  530. The Bible says that He has already lavished every spiritual

  531. blessing upon us needed for life and godliness, and it's through

  532. our yielding our life wholeheartedly to Him and

  533. walking in a greater revelation of who He is, this fear of God

  534. that we crossover to live in all that He's already lavished upon

  535. us. Amen.

  536. Amen. This moment I'm just going to

  537. invite the worship team to come back as I just pray for each and

  538. everyone of you guys that you would just grow in the spirit of

  539. the fear of God. This is not a word to intimidate

  540. or scare you, but a word to bless you that the Lord desires

  541. to get more to you. He desires for you to find that

  542. place of rest, that place where you find true life, that that

  543. place where you are satisfied, and that place where you are

  544. above all evil. Amen.

  545. And so I'm invite you to just stand with me right now as I

  546. pray that this word penetrates the very depths of our soul.

  547. Father, we thank you that you are good.

  548. We thank You that you are love. We thank You that you are spirit

  549. and you sent your Spirit to dwell within each and everyone

  550. of us. We thank you that Your word is

  551. true, and it is a firm foundation for us to build our

  552. lives upon. Father, right now in this

  553. moment, we receive the word that your wind is blowing.

  554. Blow and blow in our lives. Lord, we know that you are a

  555. consuming fire and that the Holy Spirit blows so that that fire

  556. can grow greater and greater and greater within each and every

  557. one of us. Father, we thank you that you

  558. are good and You are worthy to be praised.

  559. Reveal to us, us, show us our own hearts and where we have a

  560. hard time surrendering to You, and then reveal us your

  561. goodness. Reveal to us Your goodness,

  562. which causes us to repent and turn and give every part of us

  563. over to You. We thank the Holy Spirit that

  564. you who are doing a good work, you shall see it come to

  565. completion. In the mighty name of Jesus, I

  566. pray. Amen.
