Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International
-
Church Podcast where we seek to love all nations, equip the
-
church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.
-
We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever
-
you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get
-
your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe
-
some tea, and get ready to receive.
-
It's go time. Let's get into it.
-
The father instantly cried out. I do believe, but help me
-
overcome my unbelief. The father instantly cried out.
-
I do believe. Somebody shout out.
-
I do believe, he said. But help me overcome my
-
unbelief. The amplified classic says it
-
this way. At once the father of the boy
-
gave an eager, piercing, inarticulate cry with tears.
-
And he said, Lord, I believe somebody shout out I believe.
-
He says constantly help my weakness of faith say I believe,
-
but a little louder say I believe but help my unbelief.
-
Tonight just talk to you from this topic of help my unbelief.
-
To start off, there's three areas I feel like if we are
-
going to receive help for our own belief, we need the HS to
-
the grizzle. So somebody say H to the
-
grizzle. OK, Number one, you need hunger.
-
A lot of people say they want help but aren't hungry for help.
-
OK, I need I I need a hunger and thirst for help.
-
I need a hunger and a thirst for help.
-
Look, I painfully need to mature.
-
That's my posture is I don't just need help out of a
-
situation because here's the truth is some of us sometimes.
-
Need help to stay in it and not run from it.
-
Somebody just say help me stay in it.
-
Come on, say help me stay in the tension.
-
Watch this. Help me where I don't have
-
understanding. If you're not afraid to say
-
that, go ahead. I painfully need to stay in it.
-
Somebody say painfully #2 I need honesty.
-
I, I got problems and I need help.
-
Lot of people want help for some stuff and that ain't the area
-
they need help in, right? Right.
-
I I need help with my root system, not my fruits.
-
OK? I got problems and I need help,
-
and nine times out of 10 I don't need you to help me where I'm
-
at. I need you to help me in the
-
area that got me here. Am I talking to anybody?
-
Help. See a lot of times therapists
-
will get the fruit of what's going on but we not honest about
-
how did I get in this stupid situation in the 1st place?
-
How did I get broke? How did I get my heart broken
-
again for the fifth time? How did I get in this situation?
-
Somebody say I need help, bad look at your neighbor, just want
-
one eye and say you do too but I didn't want to tell you that but
-
you do too. Number one, you have to hunger
-
for help #2 you got to have honesty.
-
You got to be honest that you need help and #3 humility to
-
receive help. I'll humility is saying I'll
-
remain hungry and honest in the process.
-
How many people understand real change is a long process right?
-
Sometimes I need seasons of help because the person that helped
-
me when a cycle started is burnt out and helping me when the
-
cycle about to. End so I need some in the season
-
help. Am I talking to anybody?
-
I need some end of season help. I don't need burnt out help when
-
God's about to break me out. I need end of season help like
-
I'm right there and you sitting here like again, no, I don't
-
need again. I need I need fresh perspective
-
in a old problem that I have because God is right there.
-
Somebody shout out Fresh hope. You give me just a tiny bit more
-
volume, just just this on me, because my voice is my voice is
-
tied. God, this is this is kind of
-
I've been to this place and let let me just go over this real
-
quick. I don't want to rush past it ate
-
still a grizzle #1 hunger. I painfully need to mature.
-
That's that's my posture. If it ain't, you need to mature.
-
Because we don't have a problem knowing who else need to grow
-
up. The issue is, is you know what?
-
I don't care if you grow up or not.
-
Because I painfully need to grow up and every ounce of energy
-
that I have, I need to invest it in my change.
-
Somebody shout out hunger #2 honesty, I got problems.
-
Watch this. Watch this.
-
Do not amplify somebody else's problems, but minimize yours.
-
I got for real problems. I got a bad, really bad
-
attitude. Not a bad attitude when no, I
-
got a bad attitude. I got a foul mouth, whatever the
-
case may be. It's not I got a foul mouth.
-
When somebody push my butt, you know I got a foul mouth.
-
What period? Somebody say period and #3
-
humility. I'll remain hungry and honest.
-
So I need to add honesty to my hunger.
-
If I can't be honest, then I'm not.
-
Humble. Yeah, write that down.
-
If I cannot be honest, I cannot be humble, because if I am
-
dishonest, watch this dishonesty is a form of pride.
-
OK, Sometimes you're in this place.
-
God, I believe. What did he say?
-
I believe? Here it is.
-
I want to catch a few things here because we've seen this
-
scripture over and over and over and over and over.
-
Then we thought it was a scripture about him not
-
believing. No, no, no, no, no, no, He said.
-
I believe but I need help with my unbelief.
-
Follow it God I believe, but there's some areas I'm just a
-
mess, I don't got it all together.
-
Or have I figured it out? Father help my unbelief.
-
God, I believe, but there's some areas I'm just a mess.
-
I don't got it all together nor do I have it figured out.
-
So Father help my unbelief. In other words, I might have
-
belief in one area but unbelief in another.
-
So I can't just be like, I believe in Jesus.
-
What, what, what area? You believe he died in rows?
-
Do you believe he's a healer? Do you believe he's a provider?
-
Do you believe He can save your marriage?
-
In other words, God wants us to believe in every area of our
-
lives, not just some areas of our lives.
-
And what I have realized in this last season of 4/5. 6.
-
Years or whatever it is, is that God?
-
I do believe you, but there's some areas I may not.
-
So let me humble myself and say God, although you are blessing
-
me, although you are maturing me, although you are promoting
-
me. Maybe I have a hidden issue in
-
my life and maybe I don't believe you as much as I
-
thought. I'm just going to preach to
-
myself, maybe I don't believe you as much as I.
-
Maybe I believe you a lot in one area, but when it comes to this
-
area, maybe I believe you for a certain period of time.
-
But when stuff start taking too long, my belief gets exposed.
-
And sometime God don't mind you waiting so he can expose your
-
lack of belief in an area because you might go to the next
-
season thinking you believe God and when that big storm come,
-
you're going to find out you didn't believe him in the 1st
-
place. So he is kind and he is gracious
-
to say I know you ready to go. But your belief is based on
-
sight. Where we going?
-
You can't believe because you can see.
-
You can't believe because you can feel it.
-
You can't believe because they like you.
-
Where we going? I need you in this season to
-
practice not seeing. And how am I going to practice
-
not seeing? First I got to admit I can't see
-
1st I got to admit that I do not believe in this area.
-
Pull the signs and wonders away. Do I believe, pull the the faith
-
talkers from around me do I believe and I am understanding
-
in this season why we are waiting.
-
Look, look, look, look, look, we're not not in that building
-
because we not doing something. We not in that building because
-
there's things out of our control.
-
So I'm not sitting here thinking, oh crap, what else do
-
we? We need a lot of money, but what
-
else do we need to do? Why we didn't turn that
-
paperwork in. We didn't do no, no, no, no, no,
-
no. Pay attention and stop getting
-
antsy and understand sometime you are a part of divine delay
-
and learn to understand that it is a blessing because God is
-
keeping you from something. Now I need you to go through
-
this wilderness. Yes it's longer but if I take
-
you shorter you going to faint quicker.
-
So you want to faint faster or you want to develop under
-
pressure longer? Watch this.
-
You got to start desiring better.
-
For your faith. You got to love yourself enough
-
to know you are wait. You are worth being waited for.
-
See the issue is we want to arrive somewhere quick.
-
We want people to know us quick. We want people to see our
-
anointing quick. What God is trying to finish in
-
you. Is worth the wait.
-
Watch this Fruits ain't never spoiled because you wait.
-
Watch it. God, I believe, but there's some
-
areas I'm just a mess. I, I I don't got it all together
-
nor have I figured it out. So can we look at this scripture
-
in some context? He says I believe, but I need
-
you to help my unbelief. Let's go back up to verse 16.
-
Jesus and his buddy Peter, James and John just comes off this
-
mountain of transfiguration. They have an encounter.
-
Somebody say encounter, come on encounter.
-
They come off of this encounter. These three disciples walking
-
with Jesus. And and Jesus comes off the
-
mountain and and no sooner he come out of a glorious time.
-
Watch this. What is all this arguing about?
-
Jesus asked one of the men in the.
-
Crowd spoke up and said, Teacher, I brought my son so you
-
could heal him. I brought my son so you could
-
heal him. I brought my son so you can heal
-
him. Let me break it for you.
-
I came to. Church so I can get help.
-
I came to counseling so I could get help.
-
I prayed so I could get deliverance.
-
Jesus, I brought my son so you could what heal him.
-
I came to Jesus so he could what heal me.
-
Watch this. But he comes down and instead of
-
his son being healed in Jesus hearing about disciples who are
-
demonstrating what they saw their rabbis show them and teach
-
them. He see, he sees what argue in I
-
brought my son so you could heal him.
-
Watch this. He is possessed by an evil
-
spirit that won't let him talk, and whenever this spirit seizes
-
him, it throws him violently to the ground.
-
Then he foams at the mouth and grinds.
-
His teeth and becomes rigid so I asked your disciples to cast out
-
the evil spirit. Everybody read that next line
-
with me. I asked your disciples to cast
-
out the evil spirit, but they they.
-
Couldn't do it, so Jesus takes 3 on a little field trip with him.
-
He leaves 9 and whoever they disciple and and nobody could
-
perform a miracle. Watch this for today.
-
There are things that we keep bringing Jesus that he has
-
anointed you to handle. Watch this and how the anointing
-
is compromised is we get caught up arguing over stuff that don't
-
got nothing to do with the possessed, with the lame, with
-
the sick, with the blind and at the whole at this time families
-
remain in bondage because disciples is arguing.
-
Watch this. As much as we want to point to
-
Jesus, please do. But there are things in these
-
last days that will not happen without His disciples walking in
-
the anointing that He has given us.
-
There are friends and family that will go to hell if His
-
disciples do not witness to them.
-
There's a whole city that will remain cold on the way to hell
-
if his disciples that he has anointed do not do the work.
-
See. But they couldn't, though, watch
-
this. They couldn't one more time say
-
they couldn't do it. They could.
-
He empowered them. He empowered them with his
-
anointing to cast out demons healed is sick.
-
He like I'm going to take these three with me.
-
We about to go up here and we're going to have a conversation go
-
see a few things and you guys are more than equipped to handle
-
whatever comes your way because I am with you.
-
Watch this Jesus said to them. You faithless people, you
-
faithless people, you, you lack of belief, you faithless people.
-
Now I have the room to believe. He wasn't just talking about his
-
12. He's also talking about the
-
people that's connected that have seen because it's not just
-
the elder job, the clergy job. It's anybody who knows Jesus who
-
walks with Jesus. He has anointed filled with His
-
Holy Spirit and have put power upon you to if a if a sick
-
person comes, if a lame person comes, there is faith that
-
should be had that this person if I'm the only one around.
-
And I know Jesus, his anointing's on me then then,
-
then there's a belief and a faith in me that should says you
-
faithless people watch this. How?
-
Long. Must I be with you?
-
He's letting you know. He we see it throughout.
-
He's leaving, but the ministry should go on.
-
He's saying, look, if you don't see me around, healing is still
-
available. You don't, you don't.
-
You don't if, if I go for a walk, I can't go on a walk
-
without the devil showing up and turning everything upside down.
-
He says, how long must I be with you?
-
How long must I put up with you? Watch this.
-
Bring the boy to me. But watch this Bring the boy to
-
me is not saying I know y'all couldn't do it.
-
Bring the boy to me is since y'all didn't or since y'all
-
can't since y'all don't believe right?
-
Bring the boy to me. So they brought the boy.
-
Watch this. But when the evil spirit saw
-
Jesus, it threw the child into OK, here we go.
-
When the evil spirit saw Jesus, it wasn't a physical demon, it
-
was a evil spirit saw Jesus. And that evil spirit was on the
-
scene with his disciples. Why are they seeing disciples
-
without Jesus? So they don't see Jesus till
-
Jesus show up. Now watch this here.
-
We are New Testament believers and we got the Holy Ghost in us.
-
So anytime you show up somewhere they should, demons should see
-
Jesus. They brought the boy.
-
But when the evil spirit saw Jesus, he saw something
-
different. He saw faith.
-
He saw a son. Watch this.
-
It threw the child into a violent convulsion and he fell
-
to the ground, rithering and foaming at the mouth.
-
Watch this. Watch this.
-
Police pay attention. Freedom and deliverance and
-
revival is not often the immediate result of the presence
-
of Jesus. Because watch this, the demons
-
saw Jesus and his response wasn't leave the boy alone, his
-
response was to cause chaos. See, some people get to running
-
when chaos. Breaks out not realizing Jesus
-
just showed up. That's why chaos broke out.
-
See Jesus chaos broke. He was born in a Manger.
-
See, they looking for this big glorious arrival of Jesus, and
-
they missed him. And some people miss Revival
-
because they thought Revival wasn't connected to Chaos.
-
So, so, so, so, so, so. But when the evil spirit saw
-
Jesus, it threw the When the evil spirit saw Jesus, it threw
-
the child into a violent convulsion.
-
Why is that the response? Why not when you see Jesus,
-
demon, why you just don't leave? Because you know what time it
-
is. Can the believer see that
-
sometimes when chaos may break out is when Jesus might be most
-
present? OK, put me in the fiery.
-
Furnace. It was a fourth one in there.
-
Watch this, If I'm not mistaken, Bible readers, they opened the
-
door. The response to Jesus getting in
-
the fire wasn't the door opened, they was walking around the fire
-
and the King opened the door. If he had not opened the door,
-
how long would Jesus had to stay in there with him?
-
Remember what you said earlier? I need help to stay in this
-
thing. He fell to the ground with the
-
ring. Freedom and deliverance and
-
revival is not often the immediate result of the presence
-
of Jesus. Some would hear me saying that
-
revival doesn't happen when Jesus is present.
-
That's not what I said. Read it right.
-
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom available.
-
It don't mean everybody free, it just means freedom is present.
-
You get what I'm saying? Freedom.
-
Is present like Peter. The Angel came, took the
-
handcuffs off of him, Peter sitting there still.
-
Freedom was present. Peter needed to get a little
-
compelled to get out of the prison.
-
He was so comfortable in the prison, he didn't realize his
-
change was broken. He was keeping himself in the
-
prison. Watch this Freedom deliverance.
-
Revival is not often the immediate result of the presence
-
of Jesus. We say revival is landed.
-
Yeah, landed. But we don't want revival to
-
just land. We wanted to spread.
-
Revival can land. But is revival in you?
-
It could be in this room, but it can be great worship, but is it
-
in you? It could be great word, but is
-
it in you? Right.
-
And a lot of times we don't see a move because God is still
-
trying to get in. How long has this been
-
happening? Jesus asked the boy's father.
-
He replied since he was a little boy, Since he was a little boy,
-
the spirit often throws him into the fire or into water trying to
-
kill him. Have mercy on us and help us if
-
you can. Somebody say if you can.
-
Now watch this. Watch this since he was a little
-
boy. And I would like to relate this
-
to every person in here, starting with me.
-
Since I was a little boy, the enemy or the spirit has tried to
-
throw me into stuff. I don't know about you, but for
-
sure me. I didn't got thrown into some
-
hot messes. Some stuff I chose and some
-
stuff I'm like, how did I get into this?
-
Because there are spirits that have been hanging on to my life
-
since I was born that have been throwing me.
-
It may have not been a fire, but it could.
-
It might as well have been trying to kill him.
-
Since you was born. The enemy's been trying to kill
-
you. Have mercy if you can, Jesus say
-
what you mean. I would like to believe that
-
Jesus got a high pitched voice at this point.
-
What you mean if I can, Jesus asks.
-
Anything is possible if a person believes.
-
Somebody say help my unbelief one more time.
-
Help my unbelief anything is. Possible.
-
If a person shouted out, come on, anything is possible.
-
If a person believes, the impossible is possible.
-
If a person believes not. If Jesus believe.
-
If you believe anything is possible.
-
The father instantly cried out, Shouted out.
-
This side is real loud. Shout it out.
-
I do believe. I just need like three or three
-
to five people that, that, that I'm trying to help somebody
-
right now, not throw all they belief out, right, Because
-
there's some areas my belief is stronger than yours.
-
And if you start belief comparing, you disqualify where
-
you do believe. And if we all really got in each
-
other's life, there's some areas you believe more than I believe.
-
I'm here to tell somebody hold on to what and where you do
-
believe while the other areas of your life, it catches up in the
-
area of belief. This is why we need to be around
-
each other because everybody measure a belief is is greater
-
than then somebody's in some area.
-
Somebody shout out help my unbelief freedom deliverance
-
revival is not often the immediate result of the presence
-
of Jesus. Watch this.
-
There's a grace to keep you while you wait and he shapes.
-
See sometime T Roy they they wonder that it's it's we
-
question if he's present based on signs we see.
-
Here's mature faith. He's present because I'm alive.
-
He's present because I showed up witty.
-
How do I ever question his presence when he lives in me?
-
There's a grace to keep you while you wait and he shapes.
-
Matthew 14 says this When evening came, the disciples came
-
to him. Watch this and said this is a
-
remote and barren place. His here, His here, His
-
disciples go again, this is a remote and barren place.
-
Watch this and the day is now over.
-
So not only is it barren, ain't no stores open for for us to
-
even make something happen. No food insight, no stores, all
-
the restaurants closed and there's no natural habitat for
-
any anything. To be, to, to grow.
-
So they saw no possibilities. But what did we just read?
-
Anything is possible for those that what believe.
-
So, so it's evening time, it's a remote and barren place.
-
It's it's far out. It's like being somewhere
-
stranded on the Coca Hola that is that accurate, like Coca Hola
-
at night time right now. OK, remote and barren place and
-
the day is now over. Send the throngs away into the
-
villages to buy food for themselves.
-
Watch Jesus response. Jesus said they do not need to
-
go away so he sees something totally different.
-
They got all the facts. No faith.
-
Jesus say no, they do not need to go away.
-
These faith arguments, Jesus is happening what they do not need
-
to go away. I heard a man of God say this
-
the other day. He says immature disciples are
-
always trying to send the problem away, right?
-
Because if the problem, if I don't, if the problem goes away,
-
I don't have to deal with the impossible.
-
Right, right. If, if, if, if something seems
-
impossible, might the last thing you have not tried is believing.
-
Watch this. You can try everything and still
-
not believe Jesus. To be honest, a lot of times
-
we're avoiding believing Jesus because believing Jesus requires
-
accountability. It requires change.
-
There's no way around it. If I could believe Jesus and
-
boom, he changes my results right away, I probably would
-
believe Jesus. But how long do I avoid
-
believing Jesus? Because I.
-
Know what it costs. They do not need to go away,
-
right? And So what happens is we often
-
get into making it happen versus waiting for him to make it
-
happen. You give them something to eat.
-
Watch this, he said. You give them something to eat.
-
What's this? Don't stop eliminating yourself
-
out of the equation of transformation in your city.
-
You give them something to eat. Watch this Jesus understands
-
where their mindset is. He understands they lack faith
-
and he still says you, you. I know you don't believe it can
-
happen. But I'm still giving you the
-
challenge. See, you thought that your lack
-
of faith was going to get Jesus to skip you.
-
You thought your lack of belief was going to get Jesus to pick
-
the next person in line. Watch this, he says.
-
They said to him, we have nothing here but 5 loaves and
-
two fishes. Somebody say Jesus is waiting
-
for your. Excuses to stop?
-
Right. They didn't say we, we, we got
-
nothing but 5 loaves and two fish.
-
But we got Jesus, right? Because you can't say Jesus and
-
nothing but in the same sentence, unless there's nothing
-
but the blood you, you can't say we got Jesus.
-
But no, no, no, no. All I need is Jesus, period,
-
Point blank. Watch this.
-
Watch this. Ain't this familiar?
-
Bring them here to me. Jesus always got to deal with
-
it. OK, fine.
-
You, you, you still bring them here to me.
-
Bring them to me. Watch this.
-
Then he ordered the crowds to recline on the grass.
-
Somebody say order. He ordered the crowds to recline
-
on the grass. And he took the five loaves and
-
the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks.
-
Somebody say thanks, he blessed it.
-
Somebody say he blessed it, he broke the loaves and handed the
-
pieces to the disciples. Watch it.
-
He blessed it, then he broke it, then he distributed it.
-
OK, watch this. I'm gonna go back to, I'm gonna
-
go back to, to, to a statement that I gave you there.
-
There's, there's freedom. And deliverance and revival is
-
not often the immediate result of the presence of Jesus.
-
There's a grace to keep you while you wait and he shakes.
-
Watch this. The immediate result is not
-
always freedom. It's not always deliverance and
-
it's not always. Look, Jesus been dealing with
-
you with that demon all this time.
-
You don't think he can go a few more months with you and the
-
demon? Jesus is not in a rush because
-
he he knows an immediate deliverance is only going to get
-
you so far. And if you rushing for an
-
immediate deliverance, an exorcism versus exercising the
-
word, He wants you to hunger and thirst him.
-
Not an exorcism. Jesus, know that seven times
-
stronger is on the line. Watch this, Watch this.
-
What did he say when he said he said he ordered him?
-
Watch this. Here's what often happens when
-
he comes on the scene. He blesses it.
-
If you go back and look at Lazarus, he showed up and he
-
said he started praising the Lord.
-
What bro can you? He did and he stinketh.
-
Now you want to have a praise party?
-
First thing he did was he blessed it there.
-
There's a cultivation. Before you see the fullness of
-
your freedom, you have to cultivate Thanksgiving.
-
You, you watch this. You have to learn how to bless
-
what ain't enough. You got to learn how to be
-
grateful for your insufficiencies.
-
Watch. He gave thanks.
-
He blessed it. Watch this.
-
Then he broke it. Now, now, now.
-
I need to cultivate a lifestyle of Thanksgiving to keep me
-
through the breaking. Because until you not ready for
-
distribution, until the blessing and the breaking, and then
-
there's the distribution. OK, David, you anointed to be
-
king. What happened?
-
But you still got to go back. Tend them sheep.
-
Go scoop that poop. Go on, tend to them sheep.
-
Although I bless you, I need you to develop a rhythm of gratitude
-
for your not enough season. Develop a rhythm of gratitude in
-
your I can't see it season. Develop a rhythm of attitude in
-
your It don't make sense season. And then he handed the pieces to
-
the disciples, and the disciples gave.
-
Them to the people. I'm here to tell a few of y'all,
-
you're not ready for distribution until you bless the
-
Lord at all times and you start resisting the breaking.
-
See, I need, I need, I need, I need to develop the rhythm of
-
gratitude. So when I'm being broken, I
-
still think he's good. I don't.
-
I don't get offended when I'm being broken.
-
I don't get offended when things aren't going my way.
-
I understand that I am in a situation where I don't have
-
control, where I don't understand all the time.
-
I understand that is my breaking season.
-
God is breaking me down, right? Breaking you is not always about
-
making you sad. Sometimes it's making you OK not
-
having control. Breaking is not all about this
-
like beating. You see how you you think
-
breaking enslave mentality You you think he has a whip and he's
-
breaking your spirit. No, he's building you up.
-
So everything that gets in the way of you looking like him
-
sounding like him, right? It it, it has to be broken.
-
Off of you. So, So you think breaking is
-
punishing when in all actuality, breaking is a part of the
-
blessing? What?
-
No, no, no, I'm not going to let you take that stove.
-
And since you got a habit of stealing candy all the time, I'm
-
going to have to break your sweet tooth.
-
You you're not getting a whooping or you're not getting
-
sugar taken out the house because you're a bad person.
-
You're a kid. You don't understand the dangers
-
of your habit, so I got to break it.
-
You don't understand the dangers of me coming into your crib and
-
picking you up every time you cry, so I'm going to have to let
-
you go nights and seasons where I let you cry and be offended
-
and think I'm not a good, good father because I let you cry too
-
long. You see, you see, there will
-
always be the cycle of blessing and breaking thorns and triumph
-
in the ministry of perfecting sons and daughters.
-
There will always be the cycle of blessing and breaking, psycho
-
blessing and breaking psycho thorns and triumph in the
-
ministry of perfecting sons and daughters.
-
Watch this. David was anointed and then he
-
had to return the tending. Lazarus was sick.
-
He died and he rotted. Then he resurrected widow woman
-
down to crumbs, then up to overflow.
-
Jesus persecuted, beaten, crucified and rose to glory.
-
The ministry of the breaking. Get that on your tongue.
-
The Ministry of the Breaking is designed to cultivate and
-
produce the Ministry of the Anointing.
-
There is no anointing without a breaking.
-
You want oil, but no breaking. You want power, but no breaking.
-
You want a ministry, but no breaking.
-
He says Take my yoke upon you. Carry my burdens their light,
-
because you have my yoke. What's my yoke?
-
My anointing, the ministry of the breaking is designed to
-
cultivate and produce the ministry of the anointing.
-
What's this? John 6 says this.
-
Then they they asked him, what must we do to do the works God
-
requires? Watch this.
-
Don't you like this? Do the do.
-
That's how much we just want to do, because we want to do the
-
do. Instead of glory to glory, we
-
want to do the do. What must we do to do?
-
We just want to do all the time. Lord we we how many people know?
-
Even if he let you do don't mean he using you.
-
So if you have minimized doing to being used, you're being
-
played. You you never want to develop a
-
rhythm of doing as evidence God is using you.
-
Then they asked him, what must we do to do the works God
-
requires? Watch this, Jesus answered.
-
The work of God is this to believe you, you.
-
You want to be so busy doing you got hard enough time believing.
-
The work of God is this. To believe The work of God is
-
this, to believe, The work of God is this.
-
Watch this. The reason I do everything I do
-
is hopefully you believe, but you just want me to keep on
-
doing so we gonna have to pause right here because you ain't got
-
enough belief and you want me to do bigger and bigger and bigger
-
and your belief ain't matching my doing.
-
I brought you out of nowhere, that should equate to you what?
-
Believing I saved your marriage, that should equate to what?
-
You believing. I woke you up this morning, that
-
should equate to you believing I broke the spirit of addiction,
-
That should equate to you believing.
-
You tried to kill yourself, but I kept you alive, that should
-
equate to believing. When is my goodness going to
-
equate to believing? That's why I woke you up this
-
morning hoping you believe. That's why I said you last
-
night, hoping you believe. The breaking is for believing
-
The breaking is for believing the breaking is for believing.
-
The breaking is not for promotion.
-
The breaking is for believing. Promotion is inevitable for
-
belief. This is why I say seek my
-
Kingdom first. All these other things, No, no,
-
no. You got to be concerned if you
-
get to the mountaintop without believing.
-
You got to be concerned if you get that, that, that, that
-
promotion. And it didn't take no belief.
-
If you arrive and doubt with your seed, then he said watch
-
this, watch this, watch this. Then he said to Thomas, reach
-
out your finger hill and see my hands reach out your finger
-
hill. Come on over here and put out
-
your hand. Watch this and place it in my
-
side. Watch this.
-
Sorry, sorry. Reach out and put out your hand
-
and place it in my side. Do not be faithless and
-
incredulous, but stop your unbelief.
-
Watch this, he said. Stop your unbelief.
-
Whoa, that's huge. You stop your unbelief.
-
Faith comes by hearing unbelief comes by.
-
Stop it, stop it. Somebody shout out.
-
Stop it now, but stop your unbelief and shout it out.
-
Believe. Watch this.
-
Thomas answered him. My Lord, my God, that sounds
-
like some of them. My God, the hole is in your
-
hand. My God, he really think he just
-
had an encounter but instead of getting a blessing he just got
-
rebuked. Watch it.
-
This is a rebuke, not a blessing.
-
It is more of a rebuke than it is.
-
He found out that Jesus was telling the truth.
-
Some of y'all think because some of y'all don't realize.
-
Watch it. That evidence is sometime a
-
rebuke, sometime when God shows up and because you begged and
-
you were scared, it was a rebuke, it was not a blessing,
-
and you walk away having the blessing and without like, like,
-
like here. Peter fell to his face when
-
Jesus blessed him with all them fish and said, Lord, I am so
-
unworthy. We celebrate the stuff more than
-
we do conviction that we didn't believe.
-
So we just happy in a relationship with somebody just
-
giving us stuff, then being convicted that wasn't.
-
Faith that got it to us. It was a pacifier.
-
I mean, I don't want a pacifier. Blessing.
-
Watch this, Watch this because you have seen me, Thomas.
-
You. You do You do you.
-
Now believe I almost hear him like OK, is that good enough for
-
you since I gave it to you. You good.
-
You wanted it you you needed it. You.
-
You just made OK here, now are you happy?
-
See, you were so desperate for God to do the thing that he
-
knows even when it shows up. Now, are you happy?
-
You thought that was going to solve your your problem, huh?
-
Watch it, Watch this, he says. Blessed and happy and to be
-
envied are those who have never seen me and yet have believed
-
and adhered to and trusted and relied on me.
-
You see this hero, blessed and happy and to be envied are those
-
who ain't never seen the breakthrough.
-
Ain't Cain, but you believed. They hurt you but you believed.
-
They lied, but you believed. There is no sign of blessing and
-
promotion and and change. But you believe and yet have
-
believed. And you adhered to and trusted
-
and relied on me. Watch this.
-
No greater belief than belief when you don't see.
-
But I just choose to believe. I choose to believe God.
-
Is in it. No, no, I I don't know when they
-
didn't told us when they told us one day didn't they like oh now
-
the spring. OK blessed oath.
-
If if Can you imagine if my faith and my belief was based on
-
timelines man gave me watch this.
-
If you believe God, you'll be less disappointed.
-
Watch it. Watch it.
-
And yet have believed Watch this What happens when it don't make
-
sense? Question What happens when it
-
don't make make sense? Watch this.
-
When it don't make sense, be careful making it make sense.
-
Be careful making it make sense. Oh, this is wisdom right here.
-
When it don't make sense, be careful making it make sense.
-
Shaka Khan, I've been there. When it don't make sense, be
-
careful. Trust in your sights.
-
Watch this When it is sightless. We need stillness.
-
Right. I can't see my way.
-
I need to be still. Watch it.
-
Follow me. Follow me.
-
Follow me. Watch this.
-
Watch this. Watch this.
-
Watch this. Whoa.
-
This is going to bless you. If it don't, Oh well, it blessed
-
me. Watch this.
-
Shortly before dawn, Jesus went out to them walking on the lake.
-
What I want you to see what that say in yellow.
-
Jesus went out to them. Somebody say that with me.
-
Jesus went out to them little louder.
-
Jesus went out. This is going to bless your soul
-
because it bless mine. OK Shortly before dawn Jesus
-
went out to them Jesus one more time.
-
Jesus went out to them walking on the lake.
-
He just took a unconventional route.
-
OK hitting it away. He didn't take a car, donkey or
-
nothing. He just, I'm just going, I can't
-
wait for no Uber. I'm just going to walk on this
-
water real quick. Watch this When the disciples
-
saw him walking on the lake, the disciples what saw him walking
-
on the lake, they were what terrified.
-
Somebody say terrified one more time.
-
Say terrified one more time say terrified.
-
It's a dose they said and cried out in what fear.
-
Somebody say cried out in fear. One more time say cried out in
-
fear. Watch this, say prayed in fear,
-
say worshipped in fear. OK, watch this, watch this.
-
But Jesus immediately said to them.
-
Jesus immediately said to them, while they were crying out
-
worshiping, praying in fear, watch this.
-
He said, take courage, talk to me.
-
So what did he say? What did he say?
-
One more time, everybody, He said what it is, I don't be
-
afraid. Somebody say, period.
-
What did Jesus say? Take courage.
-
Those were Jesus's words. Watch this, Peter says.
-
If it's you, I ain't never saw this before.
-
Peter is putting in a request like Thomas did.
-
Watch this. Peter replied.
-
If it's you tell me to come to you on the water, watch this.
-
Jesus said come. He didn't say come on the water
-
now cool. Just just, just just say Jesus
-
said come on the water, watch this, Peter said.
-
Jesus told Peter and all the guys in the boat, he said take
-
courage. In other words, watch this.
-
Let's go back. Let's go back.
-
I'm getting all antsy. Is the watch.
-
This watch this watch What does this say in yellow?
-
Jesus went out to them. Jesus was on the way to them.
-
Jesus was on the way to them. Jesus was on.
-
Jesus was on the way to them. Waiting takes courage and a lot
-
of us start moving and shuffling because things are breaking out.
-
Things seem chaotic, but God has never been more present at Love
-
Quest. Then listen, The enemy wants to
-
break chaos out because he knows the word is about to come to
-
pass. Watch this, watch this.
-
Jesus went out to them. Jesus was on the way to them and
-
he tells them what? Take courage.
-
That wasn't good enough for Peter.
-
He needed Jesus to double down instead of taking courage.
-
He prayed a prayer or made a request out of fear.
-
Oh God, he said, come watch this, watch this, watch this.
-
Then Peter got down out of the boat.
-
Peter got down out of the boat. Peter got down out of the boat,
-
walked on the water, came toward Jesus.
-
But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and beginning to sink,
-
cried out, Lord, save me. Watch it.
-
I know Jesus believed I've been human in a while and I've been
-
on water. Jesus knew this brother wasn't
-
going to make it. You better get this picture
-
because you got to get out of this type of relationship with
-
Jesus when he will. Or I heard his voice, but
-
sometime you hear his voice so he can show you this ain't the
-
way. So he will say, come on.
-
You think it's a you think because, he said, come on, it
-
was a blessing, but you're about to go through a season just to
-
find out this was your way, this was your.
-
Timing. Then Peter got him in.
-
But when he saw the wind, when he saw the wind, he was afraid.
-
Watch this fear creeps in when you know you don't step out on
-
faith. Right, he's in feet.
-
He got out of the boat. On on, on, on on.
-
Fear. Just because God gives you a
-
sign, it does not mean you got faith immediately Jesus reached
-
out his. Hand and caught him you you have
-
watch what do you say you a little faith.
-
Watch this. You didn't see we focused on the
-
sinking. Jesus is saying you didn't.
-
When I told you to take courage, you couldn't wait.
-
You you couldn't sit. I was on my way.
-
You couldn't just wait. So now you trying to make me
-
perform a miracle in front of all these witnesses?
-
Because you want a movie, You want all these types.
-
No, no, no. He say, he say you little faith.
-
Why did you doubt when I told you to take courage?
-
Why did you need another sign? Watch this, watch this, watch
-
this. Stepping into the impossible
-
doesn't just doesn't just require great faith, but it
-
requires great hearing. This is super important.
-
Stepping into the impossible doesn't just require great
-
faith, but great hearing. Watch this.
-
I am about to bless you guys right now.
-
Jesus is going to bless you more.
-
Watch this. Great hearing is the difference
-
between exercise faith and executed faith.
-
What do I mean? Look, take it, take it from me.
-
I have exercised my faith and sometimes in exercising my
-
faith, I didn't execute. We have to get into executed
-
faith, meaning we have to be more precise in hearing because
-
look, God will use your five years of wondering, but you
-
don't have to have five years of wondering.
-
And a lot of times we are just super happy when God turned it
-
around or he's working everything for my good.
-
No, I don't need some things to be worked for my good.
-
I just need to be still and and walk in the good, not have him
-
have to turn it around all the time.
-
So great hearing is the difference between exercise
-
faith. Peter had exercise faith.
-
He's like, tell me to come. OK.
-
Oh, OK. I didn't believe.
-
My bad. That's why I'm thinking because
-
I didn't really step out on the word.
-
I stepped out on a response from God.
-
That was a that was a reply. You know how you reply to
-
somebody? Peter said.
-
Hey, if that's you holler at your boy.
-
He was like, OK, reply, that's me, come.
-
Anytime Jesus is responding to your fear and frustrations, it's
-
a reminder he is Savior. No, but watch what I'm telling
-
you. Watch, watch this.
-
Listen. Anytime Jesus responds to your
-
fear and your frustration, he has to remind you He's Savior.
-
Peter needed Savior. Watch this.
-
Anytime Jesus is responding to your faith and fervor, it's a
-
reminder He's Lord. Peace King.
-
I'll end it here. Most blessed is the man who
-
believes in, trust in, and relies on the Lord, and whose
-
hope and confidence the Lord is. For he or she shall be like a
-
tree planted by the waters that spreads out its roots by the
-
river, and it shall not see and fear when heat comes right.
-
It shall not be moved, but its leaf shall be green.
-
It shall not be anxious and full of care in the year of drought,
-
nor shall it cease yielding fruits.
-
Now you would think after that scripture is some more about
-
your belief, but watch this. The heart is deceitful above all
-
things. You, you think you believe it.
-
You think Jesus is calling you out because he wants you to
-
really walk on water, but he's at he's saying come on out so I
-
can expose your lack of faith that I was on my way.
-
I was on my way, but you got anxious and you needed me to
-
perform some tricks and magic. So if it's really you, tell me
-
to come. All right, come on.
-
No, I'll do this. I I walk on water.
-
That's not where you belong. Peter didn't even count the
-
cost. He didn't realize Jesus as the
-
ego asked Jesus to to bring him into the impossible.
-
I don't need that test. Just sit my butt in the boat and
-
wait because he's on the way, Love quest, He's on the way.
-
Come on, lift your hands. He's on the way.
-
Come on, Father, we thank you. Just begin to open your mouth.
-
Come on. We need believe.
-
Help my unbelief. I don't want to be anxious.
-
I don't want to be anxious in my weariness.
-
I don't want to be hasty in my weariness.
-
Lord, God, help us take courage while we wait.
-
Help us be still when it's unclear.
-
Come on, help my unbelief. Come on, help my unbelief.
-
I realize, Lord, sometimes my fear.
-
Takes the place of your voice. Sometime I think it's you, but
-
it's my fear talking, it's my doubt talking, it's my
-
insecurity talking. Lord, the last thing you said
-
was wait right here. I'm on the way tonight.
-
We believe God, we believe God. Come on Saints, we believe God.
-
We will wait right here with great patience, great endurance.
-
Lord God, we will let patience have it's perfect work.
-
So in the end, we will lack nothing.
-
Lord God, forgive us where we've been impatient.
-
Forgive us where we've been hasty.
-
Forgive us where we've been in a rush.
-
Forgive us where we did not have courage while waiting.
-
Come on, Courage to wait. Courage to wait.
-
It takes courage to wait because while you wait, you might got to
-
fight a little bit. While you wait, it may look
-
doubtful. While you wait, you might not
-
see no signs of nothing. It may be droughts, it may be
-
barren, everything may be closed.
-
The sun is coming down. But the Lord says to you, Love
-
quest tonight, take courage in the waiting.
-
Take courage in the waiting. Take courage in the waiting.
-
Friends may come while you're waiting.
-
But take courage. Friends may go while you're
-
waiting. But take courage.
-
Take courage. Take courage.
-
Take courage. Come on.
-
Take courage. Tonight, I'm taking courage.
-
Take courage, take courage. Take courage.
-
Take courage. Take courage, Take courage.
-
Sometimes I realize my impatience made me think.
-
I can see I made sense out of a situation.
-
Instead of being still, I made sense.
-
I made it work for my sense. I made it work for my
-
understanding. Be careful manipulating
-
yourself. The heart is deceitful.
-
I've been there and I've done that and there's times he's
-
still working it out. And I thank God for the
-
humility, the ability to hear stay in a posture of God.
-
I need help you asking me to do the impossible.
-
Pastoring is an impossible task. Feeding the sheep till he return
-
is an it is a supernatural job. At times you're trying to make
-
sense out of it. Be careful convincing yourself.
-
Convince yourself that the best thing you can do is wait on the
-
Lord. He knows best that Scripture
-
goes on to say. He knows the heart.
-
He tries the heart. The weight is not about the
-
thing. The weight is not about the
-
promised land. The weight is about us becoming
-
sons and daughters who have the mind of Christ who bear His
-
glory. The weight is not about a job.
-
The weight is not about a spouse.
-
Be careful asking the question, Lord, if that's you.
-
Be careful, Lord, we thank you in this hour for patience.
-
We thank you in this hour for great faith, the gift of great
-
faith. We thank you, Father, that our
-
waiting will be a great witness. People are watching how we wait,
-
and then how we wait is how we talk.
-
It's how we look, It's how we love.
-
It's how we move. It's how we sit still.
-
It's how we pray. It's how we endure in our
-
worship. You're waiting.
-
Could be your greatest witness in this season.
-
So Lord, we thank you that while we wait, people see us get
-
stronger. While we wait, people see us get
-
wiser. While we wait, people see our
-
love game get stronger. While we wait, people see our
-
hope gets deeper and more anchored.
-
Lord, thank you, We will not be moved.
-
We will stand still. We will stand firm.
-
We will get through the ribbon together in the name of Jesus.
-
We thank you for it now in Jesus name, Amen.
-
Amen. Come on, if you've been blessed,
-
if you've been in power tonight, come on, give God some praise.
-
