Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International
-
Church Podcast where we seek to love all nations, equip the
-
church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.
-
We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever
-
you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get
-
your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe
-
some tea, and get ready to receive.
-
It's go time. Let's get into it.
-
Come on, if you know these last couple weeks topic, can you
-
shout it out with me? Come on, shout it out with me.
-
Help my you can be seated. Help my unbelief.
-
Can I do a quick review? Real quick?
-
Quick review. Quick review, No Amen.
-
Quick review, really quickly. If you remember something that
-
I'm about to read, just say Amen.
-
There will always be the cycle of blessing and breaking thorns
-
and triumph in the ministry of perfecting sons and daughters.
-
Amen. There's always going to be this
-
tension we have to live in between blessing and breaking
-
thorns and triumph in the ministry of perfecting or
-
maturing. Sons and daughters, remember
-
this scripture, John 629. Jesus replied.
-
This is the work, say somebody say this is the work that God
-
asked. Of you, this is the ministry,
-
this is the purpose, This is why it is all happening.
-
It is that you and I do what you and I do what.
-
This is the work. This is why God does what He
-
does. This is why God allows.
-
What He allows is that God's goodness should.
-
Lead to greater belief that he is the one that he is on the
-
throne, that he is a lot. Your life, the work that God is
-
doing in your life should speak to people that God is good and
-
he's alive so that not only you believe but they believe.
-
Got that. Got that.
-
Say only believe Mark 530. 6 says do not be afraid, only keep
-
on believing in me. Watch this and in my power.
-
Yeah, I know some of you say you believe in God, but do you
-
believe in this power or have you just accepted it is what it
-
is? Have you just accepted you was
-
born in the poverty or your relationship is just going to be
-
what it's going to be? Or or, or I just got a potty
-
mouth or, or or my kid just going to be sick or I'm just
-
going to be sick or my marriage is just going to be dusty or do
-
you believe? In the power that if he woke up,
-
woke you up this morning, watch this.
-
Somebody, somebody get this. If he woke you up this morning,
-
his power is invested in your life.
-
Come on, somebody say I'm here so he must about to do
-
something. Somebody say keep on believing,
-
keep on believing. Watch this, remember this.
-
Have mercy on us and help us. This has been our foundational
-
scripture. Have mercy on us and help us if
-
you can. If you can.
-
I just see Jesus how I would have responded.
-
Like what? What you mean if I can?
-
Jesus asked. He said anything is possible.
-
Somebody tell me what anything mean?
-
Anything. Somebody say everything, right?
-
Anything is everything and everything is anything and
-
anything is always. Watch that Anything just ain't
-
anything. If it's anything, it's anything
-
always. It ain't just anything two days
-
a week. When God say any, maybe yo
-
anything is a couple days a week, but God's anything is
-
24/7. God's anything is past, present
-
and future. So when God say anything, he
-
means always. Somebody say anything?
-
Always. Somebody say always anything.
-
Watch this. Anything is possible if a person
-
believes so. Anything is always and always.
-
Is anything to whoever believes always in anything he says he
-
could do? Watch this.
-
Watch this. Anything is always and always is
-
anything. To whom ever believes anything
-
he can do always. Yeah.
-
See, See, he goes on and he says I do believe, but help my
-
unbelief. Here's what he's saying.
-
He is saying that I believe you, but not always.
-
I believe you, but not in anything.
-
Am I helping somebody this morning?
-
Am I helping somebody? I don't.
-
I I believe, but I need you to help me in the areas I don't
-
believe. And what we've learned over the
-
last few weeks is you need to stop acting so Christian and act
-
like your faith work in every area of your life.
-
Stop acting like you believe in everything.
-
No, no, no, no. There's some things you believe
-
in more than you do others. And sometimes some of the stuff
-
we believe in is crazy compared to what we choose not to
-
believe. Look, if, if, if somebody can
-
build an airplane and then and God can put that brain in
-
somebody, then my marriage can be fixed, right?
-
Because the idea of the plane is gravity ain't having its way.
-
How can I preach to somebody that's warning the God, God,
-
Revelation, spirit of Revelation right now, gravity ain't having
-
his way. So if gravity ain't going to
-
have its way on the airplane, why should it have its way in
-
your marriage? Why should it have its way in
-
your health? Why should it have its way in
-
your mindset? See, there's some things, watch
-
this. There's some things you don't
-
even believe for you just put it on God and be like God.
-
Go ahead, you, you could do it. Watch this.
-
Here's how we put it. God, if you want it to work, let
-
it work. That ain't even proper praying.
-
Mary says if it be if, if, if it's your word.
-
In other words, if your words say it can work, guess what, it
-
can work. Anything is possible always.
-
But the question is, do you believe always and do you
-
believe in anything he say He could do?
-
See the power of the belief is not I'm just believing because
-
there's a lot of worldly things we all believe in.
-
Like we don't even question it. We don't question who the chef
-
is in the back. We don't question who the pilot
-
is in the front. Some of y'all watch this.
-
You don't really have no high requirements for who you date.
-
They need to be killed. You not really put no pressure
-
on them to find out the deep deep things.
-
And then you surprised when it come out later after you didn't
-
have sex or after you married. Why are you surprised?
-
How you going to be mad that they didn't volunteer
-
information you just believed. Watch this, watch this.
-
You ready? Some of y'all believe in
-
people's potential more than you believe in God's evidence.
-
Can I come to this side? Can I come to this side?
-
Can I come to this side? That's two chips in a bowl of
-
dip right there. You believe in that, that you
-
believe in that boy's potential more than you believe in Jesus.
-
Evidence. That's somebody say that's crazy
-
right there. That's that emoji when the
-
brains blew out. Think about what you put your
-
belief in, right? Belief carries power, Belief
-
carries energy. And look at where you're
-
spending your energy, right? Like, like, like, like you ain't
-
prove nothing to me, got my guy. My girl, you ain't prove nothing
-
to me. And then you mad when a job want
-
to do a background check you don't really want no job.
-
They doing their job. What if you applied that
-
principle to your life? How far would you be and how
-
less hurt would you be if you did background checks, right?
-
There's people that go to this church.
-
You ain't even looked at the website.
-
I can go to our website and let me tell you, you're going to
-
find everything you need to know about this church.
-
I promise you. Because when we made this, when
-
I made all the information, I wanted to make sure before
-
anybody came and wasted their time, they knew everything we
-
believed. We didn't just put a cool vision
-
up there for you. Go look at what we believe.
-
Do a background check. Some of you have investigated
-
Jesus and it's still not enough. OK, I got to move on.
-
I got to move on. Say I believe but help my
-
unbelief. Oh, this is going to be a good
-
day. Why you didn't repeat that.
-
Amen. God, watch this.
-
This is what we've been saying. This is a few things.
-
I I I've revised a few things that I've been saying God this
-
is all he's saying help my unbelief.
-
God I believe, but there's some areas my belief is just a mess
-
and I struggle believing. Can can I get a Hey man, if
-
that's not you. If that's not you though, if
-
that's not this is me talking OK, but I know some of y'all in
-
here talking. I don't got it all together and
-
I am tired of acting like I do. When are some of y'all going to
-
get tired of acting like you got it together?
-
Do you got anybody in your life you could talk to and say my
-
faith is struggling? Watch this.
-
To be honest, sometimes it's easier to just let me be than
-
ask me to believe. You know when God just come up
-
on you and just ask you to do something you like for real God,
-
like I don't have you ever told have you ever told God in your
-
spirit? I don't feel like it.
-
All right, watch this whenever the pastor or a leader that's
-
represents the Lord asks you to do something and you say I don't
-
feel like it. Guess what, if they were doing
-
the work of the Lord, you told God you didn't feel like it.
-
Were you ever in your heart God, God challenged you on something.
-
He brought a situation in your life and you like, I don't feel
-
like believing if it worked at work, God, God brought you a job
-
opportunity and you like, well, if it's mine is mine, but I
-
don't feel like going to the interview today.
-
He he be then to ask me to believe.
-
And that's how I feel sometime like I just want to be.
-
I'm be trying to just want to be like I don't want to believe for
-
that. I don't want to believe for
-
this. I don't, I don't want to have to
-
see because belief takes accountability and
-
responsibility and effort and it takes patience and endurance.
-
I, I, I can't afford. There's too many things in my
-
life I cannot afford to stop believing.
-
Because the day I stop believing is the day the enemy gains a few
-
more yards in my watch. This not in my life, but in my
-
progress. Right there there.
-
Look, anytime you choose to believe, there's always
-
progress. Watch this.
-
Progress happens underground first.
-
Progress happens in the invisible realm first.
-
So I'm here to encourage somebody.
-
If you believe in it, don't matter what you can or cannot
-
see. All right, I got to keep going.
-
Just because my faith is weak does not give me a license to be
-
emotionally irresponsible. Like today, I don't feel like
-
believing. So you know you're going to get
-
this work. Mess with me today if you want
-
to, right? Watch this.
-
Do you understand that belief in faith, your attitude has a lot
-
to do with belief and faith working.
-
Because the entire Kingdom, every principle in the Kingdom,
-
is birthed out of love. So watch this.
-
The fruit of the spirit is love. There's no plural there.
-
And then every other fruit comes out of the fruit of love.
-
So here it is the way. Watch this.
-
Love is the fuel to my endurance or my long-suffering.
-
This is why while you're waiting, the enemy wants you to
-
get offended. Watch because offense sucks the
-
fuel out of your in your, your, your, your long-suffering.
-
OK, OK, keep it going. Just because my faith is weak
-
does not give me the a license to be emotionally irresponsible.
-
Watch this. Today's goal.
-
Today's goal is to get my and your faith fired up.
-
Say fired up. Another word for fired up is
-
activated. Somebody say activated.
-
Today's goal is to get my faith fired up, to get my faith
-
flowing down and to get my faith flourishing wide right.
-
I I want river faith, not well faith.
-
I, I want river faith. I want faith that impacts people
-
around me. I want faith that goes into
-
nations that I'm not even my feet not even in right now,
-
right? I want my faith to impact
-
generations. So today's goal is to get my
-
faith fired up, flowing down and flourishing wide.
-
You with me. All right, let's pray this
-
prayer. Lord, help me believe in every
-
area. May I never get weary in the
-
well doing of believing. Watch this.
-
Belief comes by choice. Faith comes by hearing they're
-
heads and tails of the same coin, right?
-
Faith. Faith puts the legs, it puts the
-
work, it puts the action to my belief.
-
Watch this. I can believe.
-
I can believe laying down. I can't really have faith laying
-
down. I got to actually do something
-
about what I believe. You believe in Jesus.
-
Everybody would say not everybody but a lot of you would
-
say yeah, OK, what you doing about that belief in Jesus?
-
Are you doing what he asks you to do?
-
And if you not, the question is do you believe them?
-
The reason why I forgive my spouse is because I believe what
-
Jesus say, not because I believe what her say.
-
You get what I'm saying. See, some of y'all only do God
-
things if people are acting godly.
-
No, no, no, I do God things because God do God things to me.
-
So I'm forgiving you because he forgave me, not because you're
-
forgivable. All right, I'm just trying to
-
help some bitter person in here today.
-
Hallelujah. Lord help me believe in every
-
area. May I never, ever, ever get
-
weary in the well doing of believing.
-
Hallelujah. Watch this.
-
Here's the thought today. Here's the thought today.
-
Don't, don't, don't brush. The last couple weeks we've been
-
talking about this unbelief. Last Wednesday we talked about
-
huh, yeah, Abraham and Sarah. Whoa, it was so good.
-
And Wednesday we going to pick back up on Abraham and Sarah,
-
but I got kind of arrested by this other story that was
-
similar. OK, as we're talking about our
-
unbelief, let's look at God patterns and how he responds to
-
certain actions. There's some consistency from
-
old to new and how God responds and relates to his children and
-
how his children should relate to him.
-
Watch this as the wind blows and as the oil pours in this season
-
and as the power surges. Remember this, the oil is
-
cheapened. Next slide, the oil is cheapened
-
and power is short circuited where preference and fear is
-
elevated. We got to get out of this
-
preferential Christian. Oh, I, I go to one church and I
-
respond this way because they more like me.
-
And then I come to this church and I kind of struggle
-
responding because I didn't grow up like that or right.
-
We have preferences, therefore we're asking God or a church for
-
preferential treatment. And the oil is cheapened and
-
power is short circuited where preference and fear watch this
-
is elevated. I'm not saying preference is not
-
experienced in your heart or fear is not in your heart, but
-
where you elevated, where you elevate your fear, where you
-
elevate your insecurities and where you elevate your
-
preference. The oil on your life is
-
cheapened and the power is short circuited.
-
Watch this y'all remember to say you, if you got this, just in
-
general, you got this so we can move on.
-
OK, here we go. Let's pick up here about this
-
time next year. Elijah said you will hold a sun
-
in your arms. Watch her response.
-
No my Lord, she objected. You should shoot him my woman.
-
Now mind you, in the 1st 7 verses, Elijah just comes from
-
this this this powerful miracle that had to do with flour.
-
And some oil, right? And then we keep he he Then God
-
tells him to go on. And we have that.
-
We have this encounter where we see Elijah doing his God thing
-
and this woman, this Shudamite woman and her husband in the way
-
of something they didn't ever think would happen, ever think
-
they need it or ever thought God saw them fit to carry it.
-
Watch this. He says about this time next
-
year Elijah said you will hold a son.
-
Somebody say hold a son in your arms.
-
He get into the mama's heart right here.
-
You going to hold a son in your arms?
-
She shouts out no, she objected. Please man of God, don't mislead
-
your servant. Watch this.
-
This isn't Once again we saw we saw Sarah laugh right?
-
We see Mary and how she respond about getting pregnant with
-
Jesus. Here's the shoot of mine woman.
-
She is not rejecting Jesus but her hope has been deferred.
-
Watch this. And she has found comfort and
-
peace after her hope has been deferred for so long.
-
So what she's saying here, don't mislead me.
-
Do not make me believe for this. Do not stir up my faith, Andrew.
-
Do not ask me. She understands.
-
For this promise to come to pass, she has to activate her
-
faith so she realizes this is the impossible and she knows the
-
scripture, although it ain't written yet that anybody that
-
believes right. She understands belief is the
-
requirement for the impossible and she like I'm good Sir, watch
-
this. Don't mislead your servant, but
-
the woman I love how I just went from her to but the woman became
-
pregnant. Hey, when God ready to move, he
-
ready to move, OK? But the woman became pregnant
-
and the next year about that same time she gave birth to her
-
son just as Elijah had told her. Be careful ignoring what the man
-
of God tells you going to happen and when it happens you
-
surprised. God tells us this part is
-
important. Just as Elijah told her, just as
-
the messenger of God told her, just as the man of God warned
-
her. Watch this, whether you want it
-
or not. If God said it's coming, it's
-
coming, whether you like it or not.
-
If God said it's coming, get over it and get ready.
-
Watch this. You got to learn to learn how to
-
carry the burden as much as you want to carry the blessing.
-
Watch this and if you really understood God, you would
-
understand every burden he gives you is the blessing.
-
None of his blessing comes without a burden.
-
That's why he says, take my yoke upon you, right?
-
My yoke is easy. My burden is what lie.
-
Your burden is heavy. The stuff you worried about and
-
caring about and getting into is heavy.
-
Watch this Watch this. I love this.
-
I love this. Watch this.
-
This is my intro because we go from verse 17 all the way to
-
verse 2817 to 2817 to 28. Watch this.
-
She said, did I ask you for a son?
-
She got a low attitude right now.
-
She got a low attitude. Somebody say rightful Lisa,
-
right? It's not just she had a baby,
-
but she had a son. And in that time, what a son
-
meant that came with even greater responsibility.
-
But the but the fact that God brought her a son meant that God
-
had some generational plans for the bloodline.
-
Did I ask you for a son, Sir? She said, my Lord, she wasn't
-
talking to Jesus, she was talking to Elijah.
-
She said, did I ask you for a son, my Lord?
-
She said did not tell you. Don't raise my hopes on if you
-
can live through this moment while you're believing, you will
-
see it on the other side. Watch this.
-
It's not belief until you reach the point of hopelessness.
-
But keep on believing. There comes a time in your
-
belief where you're going to have to make a decision to keep
-
believing. It's not believe in boom
-
promise. No, it's believe all hell break
-
out. Believe it get worse sometime
-
believe right the help walk out on you.
-
Believe however long it takes it, however it looks.
-
Believe. Don't don't raise my hopes.
-
See you see this. Help my unbelief.
-
Don't raise my hopes like I've been good.
-
I've been, I've been good. Watch, watch this.
-
I've learned how to go without blank.
-
But what if you've just got settled in learning how to live
-
without? Then God brings it to you.
-
Are you ready for that? Might that be the whole idea
-
that you discover God wanted for you versus it's your desire?
-
I need to know what God want. Don't raise my hopes, Lord,
-
watch this. You may not like what God's
-
doing now, but keep believing you'll like what's next.
-
Him I talk to anybody this morning.
-
You may not like what God's doing now, but keep believing
-
you'll love what's next. Faith isn't finished when things
-
die. Faith is proven in the waiting
-
and the returning. Come on, talk to me, somebody.
-
Faith isn't finished when things die.
-
Faith is proven in the waiting. Faith is proven in the
-
returning. Somebody say father help my
-
unbelief. Watch this.
-
Now we're going to start and bring some context.
-
One day Elijah went to shoot him and a well to do woman was there
-
who urged him to stay for a meal.
-
Watch this. Elijah leaves a woman of poverty
-
and now he here. Here's something about to happen
-
with a woman of wealth. Because God provides on every
-
level, right? One woman, she just needs, she
-
just needed some provision for a few things in her household.
-
Watch this. This woman got everything and
-
thinks she don't need nothing else.
-
Watch this. Who urged him to stay for a
-
meal? So whenever he came by, he
-
stopped there to eat. He stopped there to eat.
-
He stopped there to eat. God will always provide for his
-
servants. Watch this.
-
She was wealthy, she was influential, and she was well
-
respected. She was wealthy, she was
-
influential and she was well respected.
-
She had folks, she had resources, she had power.
-
She had no needs. So she thought, she said to her
-
husband, I know that this man who often comes our way is a
-
holy man. Say she had discernment, she
-
recognized the holy man and she recognized good ground.
-
She recognized good ground. So she said let's make a small
-
room on the roof. So let's make a small room on
-
the roof and put it, put in a bed and a table, a chair and a
-
lamp for him. You see this, you see this, you
-
see this. She goes to her husband.
-
She says this man comes here pretty often and he passes
-
through. He's a man of God.
-
I understand. Watch this that in the ancient
-
Israel hospitality that providing a room for someone
-
with sacred duty, it expressed covenant, it expressed loyalty
-
and reverence towards God's messages.
-
Watch this, it expressed covenant.
-
So when she made room for the man of God, she entered covenant
-
with the man of God. This is very important.
-
She didn't just say, oh, that's my past.
-
No, no, no, no. She created space for him.
-
So she entered covenant. She created room in her life for
-
the man of God to rest and it expressed covenant.
-
Somebody say covenant, watch it. Then he can stay here or stay
-
there whenever he comes to US. Watch this say whatever there it
-
is say always. So she didn't just make pull him
-
out a little cushion for the night.
-
She made a room for his call. You got to get this.
-
You got to get this. You got to get this.
-
Say, watch this, watch this, say see when God gives you an
-
opportunity to sew for a future need.
-
All she doing is being generous and she like we going to create
-
a room. Watch this.
-
One day when Elijah came he went up to his room and lay down
-
there. She built Elijah room.
-
Watch this. This is very important principle
-
that you need to get for today when you make a room.
-
And when she made a room for the man of God, it signified long
-
term commitment, not an overnight stay and honor towards
-
God's presence. She understood she wasn't making
-
room merely for a man, she was making room for a man who
-
carried God's presence, but it signified long term commitment.
-
So we see these two words, commitment and covenant.
-
Watch this. Some of y'all don't realize how
-
much you need your pastors beyond Sunday.
-
Whatever church you go to, watch this verse 12.
-
He said to his servant Ghazi, call the shooter Mike.
-
So he called her and she stood before him.
-
Elijah said to him, tell her you have gone to all this trouble
-
for us. Watch this.
-
She's pulling on the anointing. Are you here?
-
She's pulling on the anointing. Now the man of God says, man,
-
you've been so generous. Watch this.
-
Now what can we do for you? Now?
-
She's calling, causing the man of God to go within himself and
-
pull on his resources, which come from the Lord.
-
Come on, come on. Can we speak on behalf to the
-
King, On your behalf to the king or the commander?
-
This is very important to you guys of the army.
-
He's trying to figure out a way to bless her, because watch
-
this. She has everything.
-
So. So what can we do for you when
-
you don't need nothing? So you think, watch this, she
-
replied. I have a home among my people,
-
my own people. Watch this.
-
She has an opportunity to be upgraded.
-
She has no need for upgrade, so she thinks.
-
But watch her humility, she said, I don't need anything.
-
I'm good where I'm at. I have a home among my people.
-
I'm well liked, influential. I'm well loved.
-
I have purpose. OK, she says this May I
-
paraphrase. I'm good, I'm content.
-
Follow me. I'm good.
-
I'm content. I'm good, I'm content, Watch
-
this. The moment God brought me not
-
just a pastor, but a man and woman of God in my life that was
-
custom for who I was. I realized I wasn't as good as I
-
thought because clearly God put somebody on a mission to pull
-
something out of me. I have no need or have no clue
-
that I need watch this. She says I'm good, I'm content.
-
Why she says this? I have nothing else I'm
-
believing for. Be careful the day you stop
-
believing. Not only be careful what you
-
believe in for, but be careful the day you arrive and you like
-
I'm good, got my job, got my, got my spouse, got my car
-
financially free, got my church home, like I'm good.
-
The work of God is to believe. So let get watch this.
-
When you stop believing, expect some work to come since your
-
belief is unemployed. God about to God, God is about
-
to employ your unbelief. OK, watch this faith without
-
works. In other words, faith without a
-
job is dead. OK, OK, OK, OK, OK, OK, OK watch
-
this verse 14. What?
-
What can be done for her? What can be done for her?
-
Elijah asked. See, she ain't got no needs,
-
Geheza said. She has no son.
-
She has no son and her husband is old.
-
What's this? God?
-
I know it's inconvenient, but God just trying to bless you.
-
God trying to bring you something you gave up on.
-
What's this? She has no son and her husband
-
is old. Then Elisha said, call her.
-
So he called her and she stood in the doorway.
-
And then we picked up on about this time next year and she
-
said, no, no, no, no, no, no. Don't play with me.
-
You. You see, when it was about all
-
that she had in her comfort, she was like, I'm good.
-
I just want to be a blessing to you.
-
I just want to serve. I'm good.
-
Man of God struck a nerve, fear got stirred up, anxiety got
-
stirred up. She said do not mislead your
-
serving. And we read before where she
-
said don't give my hopes up. Watch this.
-
Here we go. What do you do when you're good
-
with what you have and where you are?
-
And God says wait, but there's more.
-
What? What do you do?
-
Watch this. And you don't get to choose the
-
blessing. Watch this.
-
What do you do when the God you say you trust disrupts the
-
rhythm you proud you built? Can I talk to you today, this
-
good Sunday shining morning before it start raining?
-
What do you do when the gods you say you trust disrupt the rhythm
-
you proud you built? Chica BA Bakashi, watch this.
-
What if the disruption you're avoiding is the deliverance
-
you've been awaiting? Oh, man, what if the disruption
-
you're avoiding is the deliverance you've been
-
awaiting? Second Kings 40, I mean, Second
-
Kings 420, says after the servant had lifted him up and
-
carried him to his mother, the boy sat on her lap.
-
And we'll get to that in a second.
-
Until noon. He sat on her lap and then he
-
died. Watch, watch this.
-
She had time to hold the promise.
-
She had time to fall in love with the promise.
-
Then he died. And you see, when God blesses
-
you with something, be careful how tight you hold it because
-
there's a day you're going to have to lay it down.
-
Watch this, watch this, watch this, watch this.
-
What do you do? Here it is, EJ.
-
What do you do when Ephesians 320 turns into Proverbs 1312?
-
Ephesians 320 is exceeding abundantly above all that we can
-
ask, hope, think, or imagine. Proverbs 1312 is hope Deferred
-
makes the harp sick. What happened when the exceeding
-
abundantly above all that we can ask for, think for desire, for
-
it comes in our life. And then that same promise is
-
the very thing that causes my hope to be deferred.
-
When promises die, emotions take the will.
-
Emotions will always attempt to lead our faith when promise and
-
clarity tarries. Verse 17.
-
But the woman became pregnant. We got that.
-
Verse 18 Here we go. The child grew and one day he
-
went out to his father who was with the Reapers.
-
Watch this. He was out there with his
-
father, big enough to work. He said to his father, My head,
-
my head, my head, my head. His father told the servant,
-
Carry him to his Mama. He just got a headache or he was
-
like that boy, just he just, he just he performing, he don't
-
want to work. What's this?
-
Carry him to his Mama after the servant had lifted him up and
-
carried him. Watch this.
-
Oh, I just saw this. I just saw this.
-
But I also can see how the father was like this.
-
Her problem. She the one got a word from from
-
from the man of God, like we both was good.
-
I'm old, you see, they said he old.
-
He old. I'm old.
-
I ain't got time for all this. So send it back to her, right.
-
Be careful who you get in covenant with.
-
Can they handle the unexpected blessings of your life right?
-
Watch this. My mom, my, my wife met me in
-
the club. I wasn't talking about preaching
-
pastor in Canada or nothing. Amen.
-
Praise God, he, he is good. He works all things together.
-
But guess what? This was not in the the picture.
-
But thank God that there's something in her that can handle
-
the unexpected blessing. Watch it.
-
He says the boy sat on her lap until noon and then he died.
-
She went up and laid him. Watch this.
-
She went up and laid him on the bed.
-
Watch this of the man of God. Remember long term commitment
-
covenant. This is almost like when when
-
Peter lent his boat to Jesus for a season.
-
You might be sewing, not knowing the very thing you sewing is the
-
bed for your miracle. She she went up and she laid him
-
on the bed of the man of God. Then watch this, she shut the
-
door on the devil, watch this, watch this.
-
Then shut the door. And when I watch this, Denny,
-
watch this. She put the dead thing in the
-
room and shut the door and walked away.
-
It's going to be exciting. It's going to be exciting.
-
It's going to be exciting. Then shut the door and went out.
-
Watch this, Watch this, Watch this, watch this.
-
She didn't allow frustration and disappointment to bury her
-
promise. She just laid it down.
-
Watch it. She did not bury the promise.
-
She just laid it down. Somebody say lay it down.
-
Watch this. She didn't prepare for a
-
memorial. She prepared for a miracle.
-
I'm trying to help somebody in here.
-
She prepared for a miracle way too often.
-
Soon as it don't go right for you.
-
You have a memorial because you had a bad day.
-
Well, how did I have a memorial, Pastor?
-
With what came out of your mouth, you cursed it.
-
You buried it instead of speaking life to the dry bones.
-
You get what I'm saying? She did not have.
-
She did not prepare for a memorial.
-
She prepared for a miracle. Here it is now my belief got to
-
work. Unbelief can say it's over, but
-
your actions can say not today. Some somebody just say not
-
today. Watch this.
-
She put the dead thing in the same place the promise was first
-
spoken. See on I'm coming for you today,
-
girl. She put the dead thing in the
-
same place the promise was first spoken.
-
Watch this. She took the dead thing back to
-
the Word. Watch this. 2nd Corinthians 10.
-
Take every word, everything that comes against the word of God.
-
Carry it captive. Watch this right.
-
She put the dead thing in the same place the promise was first
-
spoken. This is why we Stewart the
-
prophetic word here. It's because no matter how weary
-
we may feel, the word keeps us going, right?
-
The the, the spoken word of God is the defibrillator to a weary
-
heart, right? It don't matter if it takes four
-
years for the building next year.
-
If God said it, it's coming to pass.
-
Come on, it's coming to pass. Watch this.
-
Faith isn't pretending it didn't die.
-
It's just decided to lay it where it can live.
-
Am I talking to somebody? Whoa.
-
Faith is not pretending it didn't die.
-
You're right. It's not going my way.
-
You're right. I'm broke.
-
And you, you right. I lost my mind.
-
You right. I am grieving.
-
You right. You right.
-
You right. You right.
-
But I will not lay it in the grave.
-
I will lay it where it can live. Somebody say put it back where
-
he spoke it. She goes on.
-
She called her husband and said please send me one of the
-
servants and a donkey so I can go to the man of God quickly and
-
return. Look, where's she going?
-
She was like you didn't came in my life.
-
I'm not just laying you in the prophet's room.
-
I'm going back watch this. I'm going back to the place
-
faith originated right? Because I didn't ask for this
-
anyway. So let me go get the man of God.
-
Watch this. This is why you got a partner.
-
You need purpose partners. Some of y'all ain't got nobody
-
in your phone except the pastor and I don't even know how you
-
got his phone number to call when you get in trouble.
-
Like you don't need your best friend if your best friend ain't
-
best friends with God. Because what I'm trying to
-
believe for right now goes beyond our relationship.
-
And if I don't get the man of God or the word of God, then our
-
relationship, you might lose a friend.
-
We got too many convenient friends.
-
Then we got covenant friends. Watch this.
-
Why go to him today? Why watch her husband?
-
Watch her husband watch her husband.
-
She trying to do things decently and in order.
-
She say why go to him today? Today is the best day to
-
believe. He says it's not the new moon or
-
the Sabbath. Somebody say so.
-
She said watch what she say. Watch what she say.
-
That's all right. She said watch this.
-
You got to tell when people speak out to you, Nicole, this
-
is your new words today. That's all right.
-
I don't even know why I told you that's OK.
-
You, you, you would not understand because God, that's
-
my I repent for sharing with you what God said with me.
-
Can you, can you just repent today for sharing with people
-
that can't handle the spoken word of God?
-
Come on, Father, I repent today for sharing the Word of God with
-
immature ears. Not ready ears say that's all
-
right, that's all right, that's all right.
-
Watch this. I might not never share nothing
-
else with you again. That's all right.
-
Watch this. When the blessing you didn't
-
want or ask for dies, can you still fight for it to live?
-
That's a question. Watch this because this is the
-
moment where she could say, I didn't ask for this in the first
-
place. So now I can get I'm, I'm
-
grieving because I fell in love with this little boy, but now I
-
can get back to how life was. Watch this.
-
Now I can go back to Egypt. Egypt had provision in it.
-
Egypt was comfortable. It got comfortable, but God
-
said, no, no, no, no, you need to go through this wilderness.
-
So let me set you free so you can go into what your unrenewed
-
mind will will see as bondage. Watch this, watch this.
-
Because they thought freedom was just getting out of Egypt.
-
You think if you get delivered tonight, that's freedom.
-
The Bible says if the truth sets you free not a worship night
-
after that demon go guess what you got to get that truth.
-
TRUUUF watch this. When the blessing you didn't
-
want or ask for dies, can you still fight for it to live?
-
Because watch this because now the promise is an assignment.
-
You thought it was a son. God gave you an assignment.
-
I don't know who watching right now, but maybe you should
-
realize that burden right now that you carry in is an
-
assignment because now the promise is an assignment.
-
God, he's licked. He's licked like that.
-
Now watch this. Now you got something to believe
-
for you didn't even know you needed this assignment.
-
You didn't even know you needed this 4.
-
Years to wait for that building. Watch this If I never had that
-
assignment, I would not be perfected like I am.
-
Watch this. One translation says she said it
-
is well. Another translation said it will
-
be all right. Say she talking crazy right now.
-
Somebody say her son is dead right now.
-
Watch this. Although her heart was failing,
-
her tongue was facing. Although her, her heart was
-
failing her. Her tongue was faithing.
-
Her heart was failing, but her tongue was faithing.
-
Her heart was failing, but her tongue was faithing.
-
Her heart was failing, but her tongue was faithing.
-
Watch this. She wasn't in denial.
-
She was declaring and decreeing under duress.
-
Sometimes your tongue has to lead your heart back to faith.
-
Can I help? Can I help you believe?
-
Like you need some people to deny to, to to say you tripping,
-
right? I like it.
-
Is it faith if everybody around you is like, let's go.
-
Oh, absolutely it's going to happen.
-
No, I I need to hear somebody doubt me.
-
Right. A good faith check is when
-
people say you crazy for believing that.
-
If I was you, I wouldn't do that.
-
Say thank you for confirmation. Watch this.
-
You can't always trust your mood, but you can tame your
-
mouth. Come on, come on.
-
You can't always trust your mood, but you can tame your
-
mouth. Tell yourself, tame your mouth.
-
Tame your mouth, Right. She Moody right now.
-
Wouldn't you be? I go from being cool, having a
-
kid. The kid sits on my lap with a
-
headache. I'm I'm, I'm.
-
I'm rocking him. And then he dies on me.
-
What I'm going through all kinds of feelings now I go to my
-
husband and tell him to prepare me a ride, call a Uber.
-
He like not right now. I'm like, boy, please, I got to
-
go right because it's urgent. Watch this.
-
Be careful when the enemy gets you in conversations when you
-
should be prophesying. Be careful when the enemy trying
-
to get you in conversations and explain.
-
This ain't the season to explain yourself.
-
This is a prophetic season right now.
-
This is a prophetic season. Watch this.
-
So she set out and came to the man of God at Mount Carmel.
-
When she, when he saw her in the distance, the man of God said to
-
his servant, he's like, look, look, look, there's the shooter
-
Mike. So clearly he went on.
-
He went on, did his thing and then she ran and found him.
-
He said, look, look there she go run to meet her and ask her, are
-
you all right? Is, is your husband all right?
-
Is your child all right? He like something's going on.
-
Is she all right? Right.
-
Is she all right? Everything is all right, she
-
said to Kahezai. She she.
-
I ain't come for you, Kahezai. Thanks for caring.
-
I'm good. She like I'm good.
-
I could just see her right now. He just like, is everything OK?
-
And she like, yeah, I'm good. And she just keeps on pushing.
-
Watch this. When she reached the man of God,
-
though, she took hold of his feet.
-
Sound like the woman with the issue of blood.
-
When she saw the man of God, she came fully surrendered and
-
humbled because she knew he was packing something for her.
-
She took hold of his feet. Gaheizai came over.
-
Watch this. Remember, the room represented
-
commitment and covenant. Watch this.
-
She didn't know she was going to need this moment.
-
She thought she was being generous.
-
She took hold of his feet. Gaheizai came over to push her
-
away. Come on them boys are always
-
hating that, that sound like Jesus disciples.
-
But the man of God said leave her alone.
-
That sound like Jesus. Elijah was the type of Christ.
-
Elijah was the type of Christ. Watch this, leave her alone.
-
She is in bitter distress. This is very important.
-
This is very important, but the Lord has hidden it from me and
-
has not told me why. Sometimes you believe you, you
-
want a word, but God is hiding that word from the messenger so
-
he can reveal it to you. Because what he gots to say got
-
to come from his mouth directly in you, right?
-
Some of this stuff is you, you you have to seek his face.
-
And so the man of God says, I don't know what's going on.
-
Why, Wait a minute, you God told you I'm about to have a child,
-
but he ain't going to tell you I lost my child?
-
The Lord, watch this. If the Lord told him what
-
happened, she would not have had to seek him out.
-
The mystery produced the pursuit.
-
That's the word He said. I don't hide it from you to to.
-
I hide it to reveal it. Watch this.
-
She gets into the man of God's presence.
-
Remember, it's a type of Christ in in the shadow, a shadow in
-
type of Christ. Watch this.
-
In his presence, you can push past the barriers of your pain.
-
Rafa can carry your pain, but not if you want to coddle your
-
pain. He can carry your pain, but not
-
if you want to coddle it. Watch this.
-
Faith is faith. Facades crumble in the face of
-
heartbreak. So you can, you can, you can
-
hide all you want to, but when that heartbreak come, the true
-
you watch this and the undealt with you and the unrenewed mind
-
of you will be revealed. And some of you are walking in a
-
season and you are a hot mess because for a while you've been
-
acting like you got it all together.
-
Because that thing or that he or that she was in your life Now
-
your life is a wreck because the thing then died.
-
But the Bible says when you find me, you'll find you.
-
Did I ask you for a son? My Lord, remember that she said
-
I didn't ask for this pain. Didn't I tell you don't raise my
-
hopes? Elijah said to Geheza.
-
I tuck your cloak into your belt, take my staff in your hand
-
and run. Got all that little extra robe?
-
Tuck it, brother. It's urgent right now.
-
Watch this. Some of y'all want a miracle,
-
but you just chilling. Some of y'all want to change
-
marriage, but you just chilling about it.
-
You're not hungry, you don't want to change.
-
You throw up some little old prayers and you just like God if
-
you want it to work. What do you mean?
-
It's his will. He don't got to say nothing else
-
to you. He don't need to promise you
-
nothing. You just throw your little
-
prayers up. You won't come to prayer on the
-
weekend. You don't come to midweek
-
service. You're not doing the extra stuff
-
that that that says I'm hungry. And so sometimes God got to put
-
something in your life or take some out your life that will
-
produce urgency because you're just chilling about your
-
salvation. Tuck your cloak.
-
Don't greet anyone you meet. Watch this When I'm believing
-
for a miracle, my conversations decrease.
-
Not everybody can have my time when I'm believing.
-
And if anyone greets you, do not answer.
-
What does he say? That's not of God.
-
What are you talking about? My son is dead.
-
I don't got time to talk about what you want to talk about.
-
And if I leak out my pain to you, you might not handle it.
-
So I need to hold on to my pain and turn it into faith and hope
-
and belief. And if I share it, I'm going to
-
share it to somebody that's going to ignite my son back to
-
life and ignite my hope back to life.
-
So he says, lay my staff, my staff on the boy's face.
-
But the child's mother said, as surely as the Lord lives as you
-
live, I will not leave. So he got up and followed her.
-
The Hazai went on ahead and laid the staff on the boy's face, but
-
there was no sound or response. He put the staff, he took the
-
man of God's staff, put it on his face, but there was no life.
-
So geheza, I went back to meet Elijah.
-
And for you, your dream catcher won't work.
-
It's going to come a time where them rocks ain't going ain't
-
going to talk back to you. And if they do, they're going to
-
speak confusion. There's we're in a season where
-
only the presence of God will be the authenticated power that
-
works. The staff is symbolic authority
-
and it didn't work. The staff was a form of
-
godliness. Them crystals is a form of
-
godliness. You know, genealogy is a form.
-
It ain't it ain't the real thing.
-
So Gehazai went up, went ahead and laid the staff on the boy's
-
face. But there was an Gehazai met
-
him. He won't awake.
-
The staff represents symbolic authority.
-
And when Elijah reached the house, say when Elijah reached
-
the house, remember type of Christ foreshadowing the
-
presence of God is now in the place.
-
There was the boy lying dead on his couch.
-
He went in and he shut the door on the two of them.
-
Not even the Mama was in there, not even his servant.
-
And he prayed to the Lord, he shut the door.
-
Make sure all the doors are closed.
-
When you're believing for something, watch it.
-
He got on the bed and he laid on the boy, mouth to mouth, eyes to
-
eyes, hands to hands. As he stretched himself out on
-
him, the boy's body grew warm. Come on, Lord Spirit of
-
Revelation, you like? Oh, that's weird.
-
He laying on the boy. You are missing the prophetic
-
implications here. This is a shadow and a type.
-
Watch. Watch this.
-
Elijah turned away and walked back and forth in the room, and
-
then got on the bed and stretched out on him once more.
-
The boy sneezed 7 times. Somebody say it's finished.
-
Whatever the spirit of death had to come out of that boy 7 times
-
means completion and opened his eyes.
-
The Presence which is actual authority and actual anointing.
-
We can only experience the life of Christ to the degree we are
-
willing to live in contact with Him.
-
Watch this. If you let him over shadow you
-
alive, you go. Elijah was overshadowing the
-
boy. What presence is overshadowing
-
you? Fear, anxiety, worry.
-
Mammon, what's overshadowing you?
-
You would say this, if I never had the son, I wouldn't have
-
ever had this problem that that sounds about right, but watch
-
this. But if I never had the son, I
-
wouldn't have ever known the father.
-
The problem I tried to avoid led me to the promise that filled a
-
void. I didn't know I was trying to
-
replace my belief with comforts and God had better plans.
-
I didn't know I was trying to replace my belief with hopes God
-
had better plans that came in the form of greater pain.
-
I was replacing my comfort or my, my, my, my, my belief with
-
comfort and that's what a lot of us are doing.
-
If I get a job, I don't got to believe for this.
-
If I get more money, I don't got to believe for that.
-
If I get a house, and that's the problem with this region, some
-
places in this region you don't want for nothing.
-
Vancouver, you like I got this money.
-
I don't. I don't.
-
What I really need God for church.
-
Faith isn't the absence of unbelief, it's the presence of a
-
decisive dedication to move on God's Word despite unbelief.
-
You can cry and kick on the way to your miracle, but don't stop
-
believing. Somebody say don't stop
-
believing. Watch this her relationship.
-
She went from reliance to reverence to relationship.
-
Unbelief, who may this bless your soul?
-
Unbelief may write a few chapters, but God has pinned the
-
end of the story. Come on, lift your hands up
-
right where you are. God will always restore the
-
seeds He plant. Unbelief may have written a few
-
chapters in your life, but God has pinned the last chapter.
-
Faith, lift your hands, does not deny death.
-
It defies its finality. Come on.
-
And even for you, if you have something that you need to come
-
alive right now, you can stand to your feet, you can bow, you
-
can do whatever it is. But faith doesn't deny death.
-
It defies its finality. It defies its finality.
-
If he said it, I don't care if it's dormant right now.
-
Prepare yourself. And for some of you, you've been
-
in this season where it feels like nothing is moving.
-
But what if I told you your transformation is the thing
-
that's moving in your life? Come on.
-
So when the promise shows up. And when he breathes on it and
-
we going to get to it in the next experience, this young boy
-
is brought back to life. Don't be mad because you.
-
Tasted it and then it went dead. The question is when it
-
resurrects, Are you ready for it?
-
Because maybe watch this. Maybe God brought it into your
-
life to show you it's yours. To tell you what he can do.
-
But the moment it died, maybe God is saying you not as ready
-
as you thought. I'm not taking it.
-
I'm preparing you to steward it. So whoever I'm talking to, I
-
speak to your spirit. Now, whatever God has promised
-
you, if it has been life, if it has been healing, if it has been
-
your family restored, if it has been great provision, if it has
-
been freedom from mental illness, whatever it may be, if
-
you heard God say it, I don't care if you have not saw it, my
-
words for you today is get ready because it's about to resurrect.
-
