It's go time. Let's get into it.

Last week, we opened this series Peace of Mind by dismantling the

myths and the counterfeits of peace.

Yeah, peace has counterfeits identifying what peace is not

and what peace is. But today we're not staying on

the surface. Today we descend deeper.

Somebody say deeper. We understand that the enemy

cannot steal your salvation, so he targets your sanity.

Hey, look, as a pastor in church, I go around, we shake

people's hands and we hug on people.

We get a chance to see people for a long time and we could

tell some people they nerves. Your nerves is very bad, right?

Anxiety has an affect. Anxiety looks a certain way.

Anxiety leaves impressions in your eyes.

Anxiety. If you are a person of the

spirit, you can look past a person's smile, look into their

eyes, and you can see throughout the week they're a stressed out

person. Or let me say this, maybe you're

having a good day today, but you are a person that is easily

stressed. The phone rings too many times?

Stressed. Run out of milk?

Stressed one of your kids drop something?

Stressed somebody don't call you back?

Stressed somebody don't like your post on Instagram?

Stressed somebody cut in front of you in traffic stress.

Can't find a park in the parking lot?

Got to park somewhere way far in the parking lot?

Guess what? Parking way away from the mall

is a good thing. Guess what?

It's exercise. But you stressed out, right?

They take too long. With your latte stressed out,

your spouse can easily get on your nerves.

You wake up stress. You wake up anxious.

Watch this. You think the best.

You plan for bad news, right? Even now, some stressful people

find it hard to focus talking about peace.

Because even the conversation of peace convicts you.

We understand that the enemy's greatest target, he's not after

your salvation, he's after your sanity.

Last week we understood and discovered that peace is not

calm circumstances. Peace is not silence.

Have you ever been on a vacation in a beautiful place and, and,

and somebody had a bad attitude? We're not going to say it was

you, but you had a bad attitude in, in Hawaii.

You ever been shopping and had a bad attitude?

Have you ever seen a kid with a plate full of food and get a

attitude because they can't have dessert right now, right?

There's so much stuff we lose our peace over.

We just hand it over. Watch this, a lot of us, our

peace is not absent because the devil, it's because of you.

And that's what we're here today is If you really care about

being a greater steward over your peace today, you're going

to be set free. You are going to be equipped

today. We learned last week that peace

is not a personality type. So don't be fooled by the people

who have a calm affect. Trust me, there's a storm.

A raging peace is not avoidance, peace is not the absence of

conflict, and peace is not everything going your way or all

your ducks are in a row. Watch this Vancouver.

Peace is not yoga, meditation, vibes, stretching, breath work,

or good energy. Thank God for stretches and

self-care. Exercise, hiking, clear blue

water, exotic vacations, breath work and watch this a week off

of work. But you notice how you had a

piece off a week off off work, you had peace.

You went back to work and you were stressed out, right?

So peace is not vacation, but none of these things that you

do. Anchor yourself.

Watch this exercise, stretching, hiking, clear blue water

vacations. They relax your body, but they

do not restore your spirit. They calm your nervous system,

but they cannot cover your mind. Like the blood of Jesus.

They reset your emotions, but they cannot rebuke the devil.

Go on ahead and see a devil and start box breathing.

Yeah. They, they, they, they do not do

that. Peace is not environment.

Peace is not energy. Peace is not escape.

Peace is not empty. Peace is not emotional sedation.

And we have to go deeper. People watch this, say Peace of

Mind that is MINE. Jesus is telling us in this

series that you need to take a piece of mind.

Peace is mine. We shall not be moved.

Come on, say that we shall not be moved.

I need you to know the one who controls your peace controls

your pace, right? The one who controls your peace,

controls your pace. The one who controls your peace,

controls your perspective, controls your decisions and

controls your destiny. Watch this.

Have anybody? Am I the only one who's ever

went to get ready for bed, I laid down or throughout the day

I've ever had thoughts of dying or I may not wake up tomorrow.

All these crazy thoughts, am I the only one?

I didn't say I was suicidal, right?

Did you wake up? Of course you're here, right?

OK, So, so, so right. Have you?

Do you do you? Because there's some stuff where

I'm like, no, I'm going on this vacation, but I'm like, Dang,

I'm about to be in this air for 15 hours, but it's going to be

worth it when I get there. But I may not make it.

Let me. Let me do my prayers because I

may not. I may not make it.

And then you get there and you like, oh, that's my mind.

Our mind can tell you is over. Our mind can say you're going to

die young. Our mind can be like, oh, is

that cancer? Our mind, our mind.

Somebody say you're mind. This why you cannot have a

conditional peace. Those that know the ghetto boys

from back in the day, Yeah. Mind playing tricks on you?

Just only like 3 people and they from Chicago.

Amen. Amen.

I get it. But I thought I'd try it.

I thought I'd try it. Yeah.

Yeah. It's all good.

It's all good. Listen.

Listen. Peace.

Bless you. Peace is not passive.

Peace is power. Peace is not calm.

Peace is catastrophic to hell. Peace is not relaxation.

Peace is revolution of order. It's a revolution of order.

Watch this. Peace overthrows disorder, it

dismantles confusion, and it disorients chaos.

Peace. Somebody say peace.

Peace is not merely a concept to understand or a condition to

achieve, but peace is a person. Peace is a person.

Parents you need to get this. You got kids, I got kids, watch

this. They never grow out of

challenging you. The challenges evolve.

You think your kids causing problems now to your stress

levels wait till they teenagers. So just get it, get over it and

think one day is going to calm down.

You need the peace of God. You need the peace of God.

OK, at my age, I still can drive my Mama crazy in some ways at my

age. OK, so get over it.

Stop waiting for conditions to change and take peace in the

conditions to maybe watch this. If you walk in peace, you have a

better chance of changing the conditions around you.

Watch this. John 1427 he says this peace I

Let me ask you a question. Who got peace?

Y'all smart, y'all been at y'all been at church, y'all listening

I realize that my kids are not a sum total of me and my wife.

enough to be like you did not get that from me.

So I'm not about to even think twice like why my kids?

kids do. I'm not.

If I take their phone, they going to get on their friends

phone. Get out of here, right?

And so you got to stop letting people steal your peace.

As a pastor, if you let the congregants steal your peace,

you ain't going to be a good pastor and God can't trust you.

You cannot be trusted, OK, you cannot be trusted.

So your wife can't steal your peace.

Your family can't steal your peace.

Nobody the government can't steal your peace.

COVID can't steal your peace. Your a bad latte can't steal

your peace. You ordered almond milk and they

put in a regular milk and you got you got gas problems that

that that steal Just go ahead pass gas with what peace in

Jesus name. I just got gas in in in peace

though. In peace, right?

Understand this, this, this is peace is peace is not out there,

right? Laura don't got my peace.

Laura got her peace. But you got it.

You got to stop that. Watch this.

And you have to understand which arguments and battles you are

ordained to go in because it's some wrestling matches that

produce peace. If we don't fight this out, I

won't get peace. If we go to bed like this and

don't talk it out, I won't have peace.

So I will do have some wrestling matches I got to go through.

I, I do got to hear some harsh realities from my wife sometime

that I got to go through. But if we don't have that

conversation, if we don't Duke it out, there won't be no peace

because some peace cannot, cannot, cannot be dealt with

until you deal with conflict with covenant partners.

Not everybody that brings a problem to me is a sign I'm not

called to them. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

It is real good. I can't say.

Hallelujah. The room was shaking in John 13.

I want you to see this context. They, they were all shaking.

They got bad news that there was going to be one of the leaders

going to betray Jesus. They're going to be one of the

leaders that denied Jesus. And then Jesus told them, I'm

out, watch this and where I'm about to go.

You can't go with me. But Jesus then spoke something

that shifts the atmosphere. Jesus spoke something that

changes every storms narrative. Jesus spoke something that

changes every wilderness season. And Jesus spoke something that

changes every valley crossing. He gave us one thing that is to

transcend into everybody's storm this one thing.

It doesn't matter if it's a wilderness, a storm or a valley.

This one thing he says I'm leaving you because that's how I

got through my storms. Peace I leave with you, my peace

I give to you. Watch this he say, I'm leaving

it with you because where I'm going ain't no demons, ain't no

bad attitudes where I'm going. So you going to need this piece

where you at? Because where you at is is

demons you got crazy family members where you you got to

stay and some of y'all here with your crazy family and that's

fine and they know you think they crazy but they think you

crazy too. Any crazy how 22 crazy people

can come to church Now the whole goal here is y'all 2 crazy

people that was arguing with each other last night.

How do I know y'all was arguing last night?

Is because the Lord hath showneth me some of y'all was

arguing on the way here. He left that room with peace.

He deposited something in their minds, and that night something

was left behind, even though he was getting ready to take.

Off. Peace was the presence of the

one who sat with them, peace was the person who loved them, and

peace was the Jesus who never left them empty handed.

The peace Jesus gives is the peace Jesus lives.

He said, My peace I give you. He was not giving them a

feeling, He was giving them access.

Hallelujah, somebody say access. Access to his nature, access to

his steadiness, access to his authority over storms and access

to his unshakable inner world. Access.

Somebody say access because peace isn't achieved.

Peace is received. Peace isn't discovered.

Peace is encountered. Peace isn't built.

Peace is inherited. Watch this.

Some of y'all inherited mental instability.

Watch this. Crazy people go to church.

Some of the craziest people go to church.

That's why we go to church. Because we crazy.

You didn't come to church because you're smart.

You came to church because you're a little off and some of

you have everybody in here right now.

Raise your hand if you can think of one person in your family and

if you sitting next to them, you do not have to let them know you

talking about them. And if they ask you, are you

raising your hand because you talking about me say no, OK,

right. You don't even know what I was

Who in here know somebody like, you know somebody ain't heard of

somebody, you know, somebody that's mentally unstable.

Understand this. First of all, when's the last

time you prayed for them? Let's get real spiritual about

it first all right when's the last time you prayed for them?

Do do you declare they have a sound mind more than you say

they they crazy. OK, all right, all right, SSK

y'all could have put the kids church in the watches.

You got parents like where you going to tell me my kids going

to win right here in this tent right here, this tent over here.

I grew up with kids. We used to actually be our

parents used to bring us on the front row.

Don't do that here. Don't do that here.

But our parents used to bring us on the front row.

Watch this. If you're going to break mental

instability in your family, you're going to have to approach

your mental instability differently than your family

did. I can.

Probably say that everybody in here, if you struggle with that

same mental instability, you do not try Jesus.

Watch this for your peace. We're about to learn that going

to church and being Christian does not afford you to walk in

peace. OK, I'm just going.

I'm just going keep going, but I want you to understand that.

He is. Here to break generational

mental instability. Watch this.

Because if you you, if you live mentally unstable, you raise

your kids with those same nerves.

Right, watch this my. Mama, if you watching right now,

watch this. My Mama used to always be like,

boy, stay away from that water to today.

If I'm on vacation, she'll call and she's like, where you at

Terrence? Don't go by that water.

Get them kids. Away from that water, Terrence.

OK, I'm telling you that water ain't no joke, so I'm going to

go by the water. But I'm in the water.

Worried about the water? And watch this.

I've inherited her worry. Some of us in here, you raise

your kids from your worry. Come on, can can.

Can two people get free here? Some of y'all raise y'all dogs

from your worry. That's why your dog always

running around doing. Come for me.

So we allow our kids to have bad nerves.

We allow our kids. To have bad nerves, we give them

boundaries in which it's safe to be mentally unstable.

Don't do that. Because that's driving me crazy.

But you could do this because I can manage it because I've

always managed my nerves that way.

So I have an ability to manage my nerves and that's how I

manage it. Or I'm going to teach you how to

manage your nerves instead of imparting peace to your kids.

How about they? Act a fool and you not moved.

Last night. PJ, I think PJ heard Micah act

acting a fool or something. He threw a little fit.

She's like, babe, go get it. I was folding something.

I just kept folding it. Like 3 minutes.

Went by and she went to do something and then she went down

there to talk to him. And I don't even think what she

was worried about he was really doing.

You know how your nerves can tell you something?

Your nerves can can make you hear stuff, right?

So watch this. She came back in the room.

And we working on. She didn't.

She didn't say what's wrong, why you, why you wasn't tripping.

I just kept folding stuff because I've learned there's

some stuff that the enemy will use the innocent to provoke an A

response out of me. Many kids don't know.

Yo, I'm not saying your kids are possessed, but their kids don't

know. So there's some energy that you

got to allow. I'm not talking about

disrespect, dishonor, and defiance, but there's some

energy you got to know. OK, I'm not.

You want it. My Mama would let me throw a fit

in the store. Yeah, watch this.

Until we got in the car. You ever been that?

Parent your kid, throw a fit and you're like OK, you going to

stay there? Come on.

Because they'll stay there, but sometimes you got to let them

stay there for your own peace. Stop asking me, Jesus says

today. Stop asking me for what I

already left you. Jesus.

Is not dangling peace in heaven? He deposited it in the room.

Peace isn't a future prayer request, it's a present

possession. If I left it with you, why are

you begging like it was never yours?

You keep on. Asking for peace like the world

gives it to you. You want peace?

That changes circumstances, but my peace changes you.

What if I told you? His peace does not change

circumstances. His peace changes.

You watch this, and it is your peace that you house that

changes circumstances. Watch this.

Certain circumstances don't change until it stops changing

you. What if I told?

You that circumstances are often created to get a reaction out of

you just like that kid that oh after a while you.

My mom used to tell me stuff like, you going to cry yourself

to sleep tonight? And get the.

Prophetic implications in there. You going to cry yourself to

sleep tonight? I'm going to watch my show.

You like that's abuse. No, it's not.

It's love. How many times?

Jesus, Jesus, let you cry yourself to sleep.

And you and. Then you was like, Oh yeah, he

don't hear me. Jesus, don't respond to

tantrums. Let's keep going.

PT You keep on asking for peace like the world gives you.

Watch this, he says. My peace doesn't activate in

worldly ways. This is very important.

My peace does not activate in worldly ways.

You cannot access my peace through control.

Through numbing. Through distraction, through

hustle, and through escape. Watch this.

My peace activates through trust, surrender, obedience and

proximity to me. It is not accessed by coping.

It is activated by alignment. Here it is, here it is.

You don't lose my peace, you just step out of agreement with

my peace. Watch this.

There's a difference between alignment and agreement.

And some of you do. All the things to align

yourself. I read my scriptures, I declare,

I decree. But in your soul, how is your

actions show you agree that peace is yours?

I'm not just. Agreeing he is peace, I'm

agreeing that peace is mines. Right.

Watch this. If somebody came up to you right

now and said give me your phone. Depending on who it.

Is you say no, everybody say no. And then?

They would say, why can't I have my phone?

You might, out of being nice, say what you need it for.

But ultimately. Especially if you don't know the

person watch this and you're not familiar with them.

You going to say no sorry it's not yours, it's mines.

But the. Enemy comes every day.

Hey, can I get your piece you like?

Sure. Here you go, buddy.

How long are you going to keep it for?

Let me know. Just let me know you can keep it

as long as you want. Just let me know when you're

And then he takes it for longer than you expected.

You don't forfeit peace because life gets loud.

You forfeit peace when you let fear lead your life.

You leave the posture that carries my peace.

It's very important if it's my peace.

Then my. Ways sustain it.

rejecting my voice. You got that back there.

Are begging heaven for peace but rejecting His voice in

You you. You wasn't praying when you made

that decision. Now you praying for peace

because that decision called chaos.

you want me to have kids? You just had them.

Right now you want to pray for peace because your kids is

causing you to lose your mind why you didn't ask him and

involve him in the beginning and.

Now. That blessing that you say God

bless you with three years ago, four years ago, 20 years ago,

now all of a sudden you blaming the chaos on God?

No, God could have told. You divorce was coming.

God, God could have. Told you, but then we don't want

to listen to wisdom, and not understanding is wisdom.

Is the way to. Peace.

So when PT. Elder John anybody is like.

You like PT trying to control people?

OK, go ahead. Like Oh my God, I should have

listened to PT. It's too.

And I'm praying with you. And standing with you.

But watch this. God puts people.

In your life to help you steward peace.

And the devil's. Job is to make you see your

peace protectors in your life, your giant killers as enemies.

Watch this. You can't demand my peace while

rejecting my voice. You cannot carry my peace while

ignoring my spirit. Oh, you want peace?

But the Holy Ghost said don't. Don't say that.

Anybody ever been there? You anybody ever been in that

conversation with the Holy Ghost before?

You got no argument and he was like don't do it.

That person says something you you felt yourself getting

heated. Am I the only one that ever got

heated before? Right, right.

Especially if you married you got they say something snappy

and you already in a bad mood. And they say something.

Sideways and you like oh, and you like OK, I'm going to go

take this walk. I'm going to go back to.

Cooking, I'm not going to let him and you start you even start

you even turn on worship me. Anybody ever been in that that

that place where the worship music did not help.

You're arguing over worship music pads going on in the back

and you arguing over pads right, right.

So, so here's what you got to understand is you think the pads

brought you peace, but you're ignoring the voice, ignoring the

voice of God. Right.

Yeah, yeah. Thank.

You, you thought peace man, you just turn on now, sometimes,

don't you? When you turn on them pads,

something does shift in the atmosphere.

Right. But now.

The the watch this, the atmosphere that the anointing

produces requires you to stay led by the anointing to steward

it. Didn't that person say?

Something to you and all of a sudden everything is magnified.

You wives, I told him. Clean up his dirty drawers.

I'm tired of cleaning up. After him.

I'm tired of washing. Don't he see them dishes in the

sink? Well, she did his own.

Laundry. He come in what time?

Are you cooking he like? Whatever is, she could.

Put on them pads again. You're like Hallelujah.

Jesus, right? You still feel yourself stirred

up. I'm in a few people's business

right now. And the enemy got.

You looking at them just like you.

Just gross. I don't even know why I married

you. I don't know why sometimes you

look at your kids that way. I wish I could just put you

back. I just put you back.

And if somebody does? Something and that whole time

you don't realize that the Holy Spirit is giving you a moment to

recalibrate and make a choice to choose Him.

So at that time. You can think your way out of

chaos. Good luck.

Or you can begin to speak life into the storm that's coming

your way. So I might, while agitated, have

to tell my spouse, baby, you look good, come here, give me a

kiss. You got to give them.

An agitated hug. Not like you.

Agitated. But you got to hug them.

They don't know. They might have just said

something crazy to you and to them.

They might be wondering why you hugging me.

But that hug brought. Conviction.

Watch this. That hug brought conviction to

them and peace to you, right? You have to learn how to love

storms away. Right, you, you.

Cannot carry my peace while ignoring my spirit.

You cannot walk in my peace while resisting my order.

If it's my. Peace.

It is sustained by my presence, it is sustained by my truth, and

it is sustained by my spirit. Watch this.

I need everybody to make a decision today.

Stop complaining about peace when you don't line your life up

the with the word and with the presence of God.

Just be like, I want chaos in my life.

That's why I just cussed you out.

That's watch this. That's why I keep cussing.

That's why I watched that movie, because I don't really care

about my peace. Just be.

Honest about it but don't be bipolar.

Don't do stuff to bring storm, but then pray for peace.

Got it. Watch this You want peace, but

you want to be super busy. This is one of the.

Most anointing messages I've ever preached in my life.

Watch this. You rather feel important than

to experience peace. Oh, no, no.

No, watch this. Why you think everybody want to

meet with you? It ain't all 'cause it's divine.

Some people want to. Meet with you 'cause they they

think you, they storm calmer. Guess what happens when you calm

other people? Storms.

Transfer, 2020. 6/20/26 Like sometimes watch this, sometimes

it just don't feel like a boring day.

It's going to feel like you are not productive.

Watch this. Here's how you gauge production

in a day. How long did I steward or keep

my peace? Watch that that's.

A productive day if only for 5 minutes.

I was agitated. Watch this if I can get through

24 hours and only one hour. I did not.

Experience peace. That's a productive day, but

some of y'all you got meetings back-to-back to back-to-back to

back. Then you shooting content, then

you over here, then you driving to Vancouver can't find a park,

Then you paying park, then you got a ticket and then after you

got your ticket, you like I'm a pay it.

Then you put it right here and then you go somewhere and you

sitting in traffic because you live all the way in Langley or

you live somewhere all the way over there.

And then you didn't even count the the the real meetings you

got in 2 days. I've come to.

Understand that I got to look what the meeting I have today is

based on what I got to do Thursday.

Because my. Week creates momentum.

So in 2020. Six, you going to have to say no

to some meetings. You going to have to say.

No to busy and yes to production.

Right, you got to. Produce so watch this.

Stop feeling guilty 'cause you ain't grinding like everybody on

Instagram. Watch this their.

Some people got assistance, some people got money.

Stop this. It's not you.

Wake up. Look, if I start my day at 4,

I'm done by 11:00 AM. So cool.

Start at 4, but don't be going from foe to foe.

What you doing for that long? The point of starting?

Early as to what Finish early. You sitting here starting.

At foe going to bed at 12? No, no, no, no.

So get up early, whatever is your prime energy moment.

But I am not waking up at 4:00 because somebody told me that's

that's what wealthy people do. OK, well, we ain't.

Wealthy, Yeah, yeah, even if I was, maybe.

I'm for sure not getting up at 4:00 if I'm wealthy when I'm up

that early for. So if I get up at.

Four man, look lunch at 9:00 AM. Whatever your goals are in 2026,

do not. Do.

To not live in. Chaos five days a week.

Your kids do. Not need a parent with a nervous

breakdown? Watch No.

pastors day off, mostly because they have such a full day on

Sunday. And I'm like, that's not a good

the most peace may not be the person you go to the movies

in your life that has harnessed the peace of God.

Some of your greatest problems comes because you have not

stewarded peace. I don't care what your daddy

have done to you. I don't care what your Mama have

done to you. Let me tell you something, you

are not in no situation that peace cannot repair.

Lift your hands right where? You are.

I declare over. You.

The peace of. God rules that you are sensitive

to the Holy Spirit that that you fight for your peace.

You don't fight people, you fight for peace because it's not

the people, it's the spirit behind the people and they just

may not have eyes to see or the maturity to understand.

They are being used to disrupt your peace.

Some people don't want you to have peace because they don't

have peace. But what they need you to have

is peace. They need to see what it looks

like to have peace. They need you to hold your

tongue rather than prove your right.

This week I challenge every St. in this room.

That you fight for peace. And obey the Holy Spirit.

If you want to go. Deeper into hearing from God,

first start at allowing Him to protect your peace.

Bite your tongue. But one day you got to stop

biting your tongue. That gets bloody.

You just got to. Stop allowing people to get

under your skin some stuff you cannot control.

Let control go today and pick up the peace of God because He is

in control. And he does know.

Your name. He does know your circumstances.

He does know your past, your present, and your future.

He knows where that inherited anger came from.

He knows. But I declare that generational

curses shall be broken because anxiety is broken, depression is

broken. And that same spirit that

disrupted your bloodline? It stops with you today, in the
