Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International
-
Church Podcast, where we seek to love all nations, equip the
-
church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.
-
We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever
-
you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get
-
your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe
-
some tea and get ready to receive.
-
It's go time. Let's get into it
-
right. So when people start walking in,
-
they're going to walk in and be like, whoa, wait a minute, They
-
didn't do no worship. Yeah, we did.
-
We did worship. We exhorted.
-
We, we, we, we, we, we exhorted. And stretch your hand towards
-
Elder Brett. Father, in the name of Jesus, we
-
thank you for this mighty man of God.
-
We thank you that you have put a word in his belly for us.
-
So we say to Elder Brett, preach mighty man of God, don't hold
-
nothing back, you are anointed from the crown of your head to
-
the soles of your feet. I came to hear from the Lord and
-
he sent you as his messenger today.
-
So I need you to be courageous and clear, forget my feelings,
-
be obedient in Jesus name, Amen. Amen, Elder.
-
Brett, Amen. So good to be here, so ready to
-
share the word. It's going to be exciting.
-
Thank you, Pastor Terrance and Pastor Julia, such a blessing to
-
be able to minister from this platform.
-
And also, thank you so much for the faith that it took to come
-
here and the faith that it takes to continue.
-
That is a faith we benefit from. So thank you.
-
And I want to encourage you, stir your faith.
-
I want to encourage you. Don't say, oh, that's nice for
-
them. Say that's something I'm part
-
of. And I can have a bit of that
-
faith. I can lay a hold of that faith.
-
That kind of faith that moves, that kind of faith that builds,
-
that kind of faith that is planting the kind of faith that
-
changes. I'm not talking about faith
-
today. That's just for fun.
-
OK, bless you, peace through the storm.
-
Let peace rule. Let peace rule.
-
In the first experience, Laura actually shared this verse and I
-
was like, you're cheating. You got in early Colossians 315
-
from the New Living Translation and it says and let the peace
-
that comes from Christ rule in your hearts for as members of 1
-
body, you are called to live in peace and always be thankful.
-
It's interesting there's this parallel between peace and
-
always being thankful, always having gratitude, always having
-
that heart of love for what God has.
-
But the the word I want to focus on is and let the peace that
-
comes from Christ rule in your hearts.
-
Pastor Terence spoke about this in, I think the last Sunday
-
message talking about how the peace of God can rule like an
-
umpire and govern. The peace of God actually has a,
-
a place and a a capacity to govern us, to govern our
-
thoughts, to govern our feelings.
-
Like an umpire gets to make a decision, gets to make that
-
decision, whether he got tagged before he touched the base or
-
not. What's an analogy?
-
That's not sport. That's always hard for me.
-
What was an analogy similar to that?
-
That's not sport. But a, a, a, a judge will be
-
able to rule whether that speeding ticket was right or
-
wrong. OK, there's an arbitration.
-
There's a decision making process.
-
What's allowed to go and what's not allowed to go.
-
So the question to you today is what will you let rule your
-
feelings and thoughts? What will you let rule in an
-
ironing experience? If you weren't here, I encourage
-
you to take a listen. Elder John was speaking about
-
which Kingdom you connect with and you contribute into is the
-
peace that you get to receive and benefit from.
-
There were two kingdoms, Mammon and the Kingdom of peace, and
-
Abram gave in to the king of peace, and so now he received
-
the benefit of that peace. So what will you let rule your
-
feelings and your thoughts? Mark 439 we see the story of
-
Jesus and he's in the boat and he's been preaching for to the
-
people for the day. And he's like, we got to go over
-
there. And so they're they're heading
-
over to the other side and the storm hits and the disciples
-
wake up Jesus. And Mark 439 says when Jesus
-
woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the ways, silence be
-
still. And the new King James says
-
peace be still. And suddenly the wind stopped
-
and there was a great calm. Nine years ago, I was on a
-
flight for work to Las Vegas, for work for work to Las Vegas,
-
OK. So I was on a flight for work to
-
Las Vegas and we got a little bit into the flight and we're
-
going to have a little bit of turbulence.
-
Now. I've had turbulence before,
-
traveled to Australia. There's one time we were
-
travelling towards Sydney and just after they passed Hawaii,
-
they didn't know there was turbulence and we had this big,
-
big drop that was, that was exciting.
-
And so I've, I've, I've had experience with turbulence
-
before, but here I was on this flight to Vegas and the
-
turbulence was funny because not only turbulence, like bouncy,
-
right? This one felt like a swing.
-
Oh yeah, that's a different feeling.
-
That was a weird feeling. And so I always pray before a
-
flight, you know, I know God's got got got the capacity and
-
strength to manage my flight, but this one warranted an
-
additional mid flight prayer. And and I said, I said, I, you
-
know, I read my word. I knew this scripture, you know,
-
I've raised the church so I could make my declaration.
-
So I declared to the wind, peace, peace still.
-
And then a thought dropped in the back of my head, when the
-
Holy Spirit, Jesus didn't need the wind to be calmed, to have
-
peace. And so here I am thinking, oh
-
hang on, let me go through my head.
-
Has that story go again? Is that right?
-
Is that right? Oh, OK, OK, that seems to be
-
right. Wow, what peace is that?
-
A piece of rules. A piece of rules with authority.
-
He didn't. He didn't need the storm to be
-
calm. He brought the calm.
-
Jesus had peace despite the storm.
-
The storm was exterior His peace.
-
What's from within? Let's read more of this story.
-
Back to Mark 4. Verse 35.
-
As evening came, Jesus said to his disciples, let's cross to
-
the other side of the lake. So they took Jesus in the boat.
-
Who's in the boat? OK, so they took Jesus in the
-
boat and started out leaving the crowds behind, although other
-
boats followed. Verse 37 But soon a fierce storm
-
came apart up highways were breaking into the boat, and it
-
began to fill with water. That's not great.
-
You don't want a situation. You want the water outside the
-
boat, not inside the boat, right?
-
And one thing we got to remember, it's these are
-
fishermen who knew the area. They knew boating.
-
They knew how how boats were they?
-
They'd gone out on the water at various times.
-
But here this storm is such that it was like, whoa, what's going
-
on now? Do you remember, Pastor,
-
terrorists talked about peace is a person.
-
Peace is a person. The Prince of Peace.
-
The answer you think it is, it probably is.
-
The Prince of Peace is OK, let's go with a little bit more
-
conviction. The Prince of Peace is all
-
right. There we go.
-
Good. Jesus peace personified.
-
Jesus was in the boat with them. But then we read in verse 38,
-
Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat with his head on the
-
cushion and the disciples woke him up shouting, Teacher, don't
-
you care that we're going to drown?
-
Wake up, wake up freaked out. But who was in the boat?
-
Jesus? Peace was in the boat.
-
And yet, even though peace was in the boat, they didn't partake
-
of that peace. They didn't allow the peace to
-
rule. But Jesus knew how to have peace
-
rule. Jesus was sleeping at the back
-
of the boat with his head on a cushion.
-
Where the peace of Jesus rules. Rest abides.
-
How? How could he be resting in the
-
back of a boat? What?
-
What's that? What's happening in the boat?
-
So much is going on around. We had a key.
-
Proverbs 1923. The reverent, Worshipful fear of
-
the Lord leads to life, and he who has it rests satisfied.
-
So the fear of the Lord, the fear of God that the fear of God
-
that honors and is in awe and recognizes the greatness of who
-
God is. When we had that fear of God,
-
the recognition of Almighty God, the rest can abide.
-
And so Jesus is rest because Jesus is peace.
-
So here He is at peace in the back of the boat, and so rest
-
could abide. Back to verse 38, Jesus was
-
sleeping. Oh, actually I missed a bit.
-
My apologies. I'll go back to this part.
-
The fear of God is the soil peace grows in.
-
I don't want to miss that bit because Stacey helped me with
-
that. She made it look pretty.
-
The fear of God is the soil that peace grows in.
-
Well, why would that be? Remember, we just I just shed a
-
little bit, but the fear of God is actually our recognition of
-
the greatness of God, the awe of God, the wonder of God.
-
When you have this idea and and a revelation of what it means a
-
just a partial revelation because we can't fully even
-
understand God with our mind. But when you get a revelation of
-
who God is, we get also a revelation of peace.
-
If the God of the universe is your Father, we walk different.
-
We talk different when we recognize that God of the
-
universe is our Saviour and our Deliverer and has adopted us as
-
his sons and daughters. If we get a revelation of that,
-
we can't but walk in his peace. You see, the disciples were
-
frantic, even though they'd seen Jesus do miracles.
-
But something was missing. Something wasn't allowing them
-
to walk in peace back to verse 38.
-
The disciples woke him up shouting teacher don't you care
-
that we're going to drowned with a piece of Jesus rules.
-
It could be misunderstood. See the peace of Jesus, it
-
doesn't mean we don't do, but in our doing we have a calm because
-
we know who we're doing it for and who holds us up.
-
The fear of God actually position us in a place of
-
strength because we know who we are in Him and who's we are.
-
I tell you, there's so much revelation of what it means to
-
be reborn men and women of God, to actually walk now take that
-
understanding and then walk it out as a revelation in our
-
lives. And it sometimes means we could
-
be misunderstood because the peace of God is beyond
-
understanding. It doesn't make sense.
-
Philippians 4 verse 6 Don't worry about anything.
-
Instead, pray about everything that makes no sense to the
-
world. That makes sense.
-
But don't worry about my finances.
-
Who else is going to do it? But don't worry about my work.
-
Who else is going to do it? But what God thinks is important
-
is vastly different to what the world believes is important,
-
what God values. Matthew 633.
-
Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and then
-
all these things will be added to you.
-
But that doesn't make sense. I thought I was supposed to
-
grind and make it happen. But in the Kingdom of heaven,
-
this is how you make it happen. Seek first God's Kingdom, seek
-
His righteousness. So don't worry about anything.
-
Instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank
-
Him for all He has done. Again, the thank you is
-
attached. There's a thank you attached to
-
your prayer. There's a thank you attached to
-
your request. There's a thank you attached.
-
But don't worry about those things.
-
Don't be anxious for those things, but pray about
-
everything. And you know what's interesting?
-
That prayer about everything can be.
-
I have a position of prayer. I have a, a place where I'm in
-
communion with God. So therefore, as I'm walking it
-
out in a moment, I can hear God because I've, I've had that
-
relationship, I have fostered that friendship.
-
I have fostered that dialogue with God.
-
And now my prayer could be, is that right, Lord?
-
That could be it. Is this right, Lord?
-
OK, Yeah. OK.
-
Good. Yeah, we're good.
-
Is this how we'll is this what we're operating in?
-
Is this fit with what you're calling me to?
-
No. OK.
-
No, The answer's no, but it's so good.
-
The answer's no. I have a couple of opportunities
-
at the end of the year where people push me for some
-
business. I do B2B sales and I just felt
-
the Lord say you're not to add anything right now and says
-
ladies still calling me, emailing me, Yeah, you should do
-
this. It'll be great.
-
You'll make lots of Yeah, it'll be fine.
-
Lots of money. No.
-
Well, why not? You should add it as much as you
-
can. No, right now I'm not adding
-
anything. Now I didn't have to pray about
-
it because I prayed about it and the Lord had given me the
-
framework that there's right now is a no, so I don't have to
-
check again. Are you really sure?
-
No, it's a no right now. So in praying about everything
-
is that awareness of God's presence, awareness of what He's
-
saying, awareness of how He's moving.
-
And then in verse 7, then you will experience God's peace,
-
which exceeds anything we can understand.
-
His peace will guard your hearts and minds.
-
As you live in Christ Jesus, the unreasonable peace of God, the
-
peace that is beyond reason, it don't make sense.
-
It doesn't make sense. Jesus sitting in the back of a
-
rocking boat, sleeping on a cushion, resting there.
-
It doesn't make sense as unreasonable.
-
It's beyond reason. It's beyond reason.
-
He can stay calm or we're all freaking out.
-
That's beyond reason. That doesn't make sense.
-
But the peace of God is beyond reason in the Philippines. 47
-
But in the Amplified classic it says, And God's peace shall be
-
yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation
-
through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God.
-
Why? Because we have the fear of God.
-
When we have the fear of God, we don't need to fear God or fear
-
anything from Him, because He is our God.
-
Fearing nothing from God and being content with his earthly
-
lot of whatever sort that is that peace which transcends all
-
understanding shall Garrison amount God over your hearts and
-
minds in Christ Jesus that's powerful.
-
See, nations have gone to war for peace, to get their peace
-
that people people have have have given their lives for the
-
idea of what peace might be. And here we are.
-
He says, man, don't be angry, just come to me.
-
I'll give you rest. I'll give you peace.
-
A peace that doesn't make any sense at all, A peace that can't
-
be understood, a peace that will hold you in your circumstance, a
-
peace that actually is a power to give you strength and firm
-
foundation when everything else seems to be falling apart.
-
That's the peace of Jesus. John 1427, Jesus said peace I
-
live with you. My peace I bequeath to you.
-
It's a substance. It's substantial, His peace.
-
I can't bequeath something I don't own, but he bequeathed
-
what he had. He is the Prince of Peace, he
-
said. I am the Prince of Peace.
-
And that peace I have, I bequeath to you that peace that
-
makes no sense. I bequeath that to you.
-
What are you going to do with it?
-
That peace that's beyond reasonable understanding.
-
That's the peace, that's the quality of the peace that I give
-
to you, a peace that cannot be shaken, a peace that cannot be
-
taken, a peace that's powerful. The peace of Jesus mounts God to
-
rule your heart and your mind. Now you consider that that there
-
is working on your behalf, the peace of God to rule your
-
thoughts working on your behalf, the peace of God as guarding
-
your heart working on your behalf is the peace of God.
-
Back to the story in Mark fourth verse 39 to 40.
-
When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves
-
silence be still. I think of that.
-
I think I think treating him like, you know, one of those
-
mischievous toddlers, you know, I, we had, we have two kids.
-
They were younger. And sometimes it's like, JT, do
-
you ever have this? We have to say silence, be
-
still. That's it.
-
That's that's a fun one. And it's kind of like, all
-
right, enough with you done So you're talking to your dog.
-
Stop barking. We're done.
-
No more ways, no more wind. Just, but with the authority
-
that it just was so, the winds and there was a great calm.
-
The wind stopped and there was a great calm.
-
Then he asked, why are you afraid?
-
Do you still have no faith? Remember who is in the boat?
-
Who is peace? He was in the boat.
-
But peace operates in the realm of faith.
-
See, perhaps you say, man, I I still get all these things and
-
all these worries and all this, this stress and I'm holding it
-
and it's weighing on me. And it some people, the stress
-
can actually 'cause their body to reveal that stress through
-
sickness and pains and and and blocked arteries and all sorts
-
of things, the body is responding to that stress.
-
But have you stepped into the realm of faith?
-
My dad says faith is a realm of possibility beyond the
-
wilderness of reason. Reason will hold you to your
-
worries. Reason will hold you to your
-
worries. But faith steps beyond that, to
-
the realm of possibility, the realm of where God moves, the
-
realm where the currency of heaven operates, the realm where
-
God is moving. And so today is Decision Day.
-
Who will you let rule in your mind?
-
Are you bound so firmly to your reason that you will not embrace
-
the One who will give you peace? Beyond that reason, can you
-
shake yourself out of the natural to recognize the power
-
of the supernatural God who is calling you?
-
He has bequeathed you peace. He has given it to you in the
-
will. Will you take it?
-
Will you acquire it? Will you fight for it?
-
The disciples were absolutely terrified.
-
Verse 41. The disciples were absolutely
-
terrified. Who is this man?
-
They asked each other, even the wind and waves obey him.
-
What are they looking at? See, they still don't get it.
-
They still don't get it. What are they looking at?
-
They were looking at the waves and the winds are going, wow,
-
that's amazing. Look what happened in the
-
natural around me. They were wowed by the natural,
-
but Jesus was calling them to a new dimension.
-
They were still obsessed with the winds and the waves.
-
They were so caught up that they say, wow, look at this guy, He's
-
incredible. Look what he could do.
-
He could stop all this and make it all calm.
-
But the real power was the peace he had that the new dimension he
-
was calling them to was. You can have peace in the middle
-
of the storm. The storm can be going on and
-
you still have peace. That's the new dimension you're
-
being called to. A dimension where His peace
-
holds me, His peace garrisons, His peace rules.
-
His peace is governing and umpiring on my behalf.
-
The peace of God. There's power in the peace of
-
God. The peace of God is not passive.
-
The peace of the world is passive.
-
A piece of the world requires everything from the outside to
-
be going great. Can you go to the next slide
-
with the circles on? So here we see we've got the
-
spirit, soul and body, the tripod being who we are, Spirit,
-
the spirit where God the Holy Spirit dwells.
-
Our soul is our thinker and our our emotions and our body, our
-
physical body. And we got worries about finance
-
hitting our soul. We got work hitting our soul.
-
We got environment hitting our soul.
-
We got a family hitting our soul hitting us from the exterior in.
-
So when these things are great, hey, I got, I got, I got the
-
money, I got the pay raise. We're doing great.
-
Then we feel great because the outside is fitting with where we
-
want to be. Maybe our environment, man, I'm
-
vibing. This is cool.
-
You know, that sounded the 70s there.
-
Cool, man. I was born in the 70s.
-
I did not live in the 70s for, you know, for that.
-
Thank you, bless, Thank you, older John.
-
And then family when things are going great and everybody's
-
happy with you and they're all listening and the kids are doing
-
what they're told. Fantastic.
-
I've got peace. Work is great.
-
Just got that promotion and when we rely on the externals for our
-
peace, then when this gets shaky, my soul gets shaky.
-
When when things are going on arrived with the family
-
relationships, does my soul shake?
-
Because that's what where I get my peace from.
-
That's where I get my wholeness from.
-
But if work is going bad or maybe I got laid off, or is that
-
going to now allow my peace to be shaken?
-
It was February 2020 before everything went crazy and they
-
restructured and I lost my job. And I'm thinking, OK, Lord, I'm
-
the I, what, what are we going to do with this?
-
So I went for a walk and, and spent some time with the Lord
-
and he says, are you going to let that affect this?
-
Who's your source? Who's your source?
-
If my source was the job, then of course I'll be shaky.
-
But if my source was always God, then how's that?
-
That won't shake me. I have to work some things out,
-
but it doesn't mean I have to be shaken by it.
-
Next slide, please. Now this is what he's calling us
-
to. Out of your spirit man, out of
-
the Spirit of God inside of you. Out the spirit man.
-
Now that's affecting my soul and my body and my environment.
-
God, it worked within us. The peace of God, peace of God
-
here means that it's going to affect my environment, it's
-
going to affect my family, it's going to affect my work, it's
-
going to affect my finance. If these things shake, did that
-
shake? Did my spirit shake?
-
No, that's the place where the Spirit of God dwells.
-
You are the temple of the Holy Spirit who's in you, whom you
-
have from God, and you are not your own, for you are bought
-
with a price. So when my spirit man is settled
-
on him with the fear of God and the peace of God and the rest of
-
God, now we're we're we're we're emanating, we're pushing out
-
because where God dwells the innermost being, it says in
-
Ephesians 316 in your inner man in the innermost being.
-
The world can't rob that peace. The world can't shake that
-
peace, that wholeness that comes from God.
-
So when there's disturbance around.
-
OK. Thank you, Lord.
-
What are you saying? Thank you, Lord.
-
Where am I going with this? My rest is in him.
-
My hope is in him. My joy is in Him.
-
My life is in Him. I'm surrendered in Him.
-
It all comes back to Him. So what will you let rule your
-
feelings and thoughts? The peace of God is not
-
behaviour modification, but surrender, behaviour
-
modification, all that stuff, that external stuff.
-
But actually the peace of God in the inside is calling us to
-
surrender to Him. Isaiah 26 verse 3 says you will
-
guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace.
-
Whose mind? Both his inclination and his
-
characters stayed on you. Why?
-
Because He commits himself to you, God, and leans on you and
-
hopes confidently in you. That's the key.
-
He will keep in perfect peace the one who stayed on him, who
-
lean on him, whose life is rested in him, who I depended
-
upon Him as our source, as our life.
-
That surrendered position, a place of surrender is.
-
I've learned in all things to pray, learning all things that
-
He is faithful. I've learned in all things that
-
He is trustworthy. I've learned in all things He is
-
faithful. I've learned that in all things
-
He has got it covered. I've learned in all things.
-
As I seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, all
-
these things shall be added. I've learned.
-
I've learned His heart of love for you.
-
In Matthew 6, it talks about if a Sparrow drops, he knows.
-
And then Jesus says, how much more valuable are you?
-
How much more valuable? So much more valuable, so much
-
more. Does he care about your detail
-
so much more? Does he care about your life so
-
much more? Does he care about your family
-
so much more? Does He love them so much more?
-
Does He care to bring wholeness? His love is vast.
-
See, we need revelation because we can hear it and it can go in
-
one ear and not necessarily out the other, because usually
-
there's something in between, but it can get missed.
-
The revelation is the love of God was poured out on you.
-
He loved you so much. He loved first, He loved best,
-
He loves fully, and His love for you is poured out.
-
He cares for you, He cares for the detail of you, He cares for
-
the heart of you. He cares because He created you.
-
He loves because He is love. And so here we see in the
-
scripture, when we lean on Him, we're pressing into Him.
-
We're relying upon Him. He is the one in whom we trust.
-
Then we will have perfect and constant peace.
-
There's the last two verses I have and Galatians chapter 5
-
verse 16. It says let me emphasize this as
-
you yield to the dynamic life and power of the Holy Spirit,
-
you will abandoned the cravings of yourself life.
-
Other scriptures say then you King James, I believe it says
-
when you walk with the Spirit, you're living your life with the
-
Spirit of God. You'll abandoned the self life
-
crazy. All the things that are
-
surrounding us that are so messed up, so messy.
-
And when the Holy Spirit is operating in you, the fruit of
-
his spirit presence is peace. The fruit that shows that you're
-
yielding. Life is now.
-
It's like peace. Unexpected peace at unexpected
-
times. Unexpected peace when it doesn't
-
make sense when you go on. I should really be worrying
-
about this, but I'm I'm finding it hard to.
-
Peace doesn't mean you don't care.
-
Remember we said Jesus was misunderstood because he's their
-
sleeper in there and they're like, oh, what, You don't care?
-
We're about to drown. He's like, of course I care, I
-
don't want you to drown. But we've got peace, peace.
-
So I want to encourage you today in this the peace of God.
-
Cannot be shaken. The peace of God is stepped into
-
by your surrender to Him, and you're leaning into Him.
-
Lay a hold of it. Get beyond the realm of your
-
reason. Get beyond the realm of Well
-
that's not what the influencers say.
-
Get beyond the realm of I googled it.
-
Get beyond the realm of I saw it on TikTok.
-
Get beyond the realm. Get beyond the realm of the
-
natural. We got to stop being wowed by
-
the natural when the supernatural is in you.
-
And we lay a hold of it by faith.
-
We lay a hold of that peace by faith.
-
We receive it. So I want to encourage you
-
today, if you find it difficult to lay hold of peace, make a
-
decision today. I resolve to lay a hold of the
-
peace that Jesus has for me. Part of making that decision is
-
setting aside your focus on the exterior and setting your focus
-
in on Him. Make a decision to trust.
-
Make a decision to walk with the Lord.
-
Make a decision to set your affection on him.
-
Make a decision today. Perhaps still you think, but I
-
don't know how I could get that. You don't know what I'm going
-
through. God knows and he still tells
-
you. Look to me, look to God, look to
-
his presence. I'd bite you to stand.
-
I'm going to pray. I encourage you give voice to
-
your heart. Remember the scripture said be
-
anxious for nothing. Don't worry about anything but
-
everything by prayer. So your prayer is a prayer of
-
Thanksgiving. Lord, thank you for the peace
-
you've given me. Thank you Lord, for the peace
-
that is mine in Jesus. Thank you Lord, that peace
-
operates in my life. That peace has ruled in my life.
-
I make a decision today. The peace of God shall rule.
-
My eyes are on you. My wise are focused on your
-
prowess, your presence, your might.
-
My eyes are focused in Your goodness, your love, Your joy,
-
your life. I my heart is focusing on You
-
Lord, so your peace may rule over my thoughts.
-
Your peace may rule over my feelings.
-
I no longer walk by my exterior perceptions, but my interior
-
reality which comes from You. I thank you Lord.
-
I look not to the world for my peace, but I look to the Spirit
-
of the living God who dwells within me, who is my strength,
-
who is my might. And the fruit of His presence,
-
the fruit of my surrendering to the Spirit of God is peace.
-
The fruit of that, that heart of love, that pursuit of you is
-
peace. Oh God, we praise you today.
-
There's peace in the house. There's peace for stepping out.
-
There's peace. For those new moves, there's new
-
moves. There's peace.
-
For that position, there's peace, Lord.
-
For that new understanding, there's peace, Lord, thank you,
-
Lord, we operate in peace. We operate out of the love of
-
you, and we operate out of our focus on you.
-
We operate in faith in you. I encourage you.
-
Lift your voices in Thanksgiving.
-
Lift your voices in Thanksgiving.
-
Thank you, Lord, for that peace. I thank you, Lord, for that
-
peace. Thank you, Lord, for your Holy
-
Spirit who is peace. Thank you, Lord, that Jesus, the
-
Prince of Peace, came for me. Thank you, Lord, for this peace
-
that is mine. Thank you, Lord.
-
The world cannot take it because he didn't give it.
-
The world cannot move it because it cannot be taken by him.
-
The peace I have is a piece of Jesus.
-
It's a firm foundation. It's a piece that cannot be
-
shaken into the peace that cannot be moved.
-
I am strengthened by the Spirit of the living God who is in me,
-
whom I have from God. His spirit of peace is upon me.
-
His spirit of peace is a work in me.
-
The spirit of peace is whom I walk with.
-
I walk in peace because I walk by the Spirit.
-
I walk in peace because the one who is peace walks with me.
-
I thank you, Lord, peace is mine.
-
I lay a hold of it. I lay a hold of it in Jesus
-
name. Lord, we thank you for your
-
peace. For some of you, there's a
-
darkness and it feels a heavyweight.
-
He who is light is the one who will remove that darkness.
-
Jesus is light and the peace of God that passes understanding
-
will be yours. Now lay a hold of it.
-
Now press in, press in. This is no, this is no situation
-
where I sit back and kind of watch what's going on.
-
You press in. You press in.
-
You pursue, pursue the the peace of God, pursue the one who gives
-
peace. Thank you Lord.
-
Thank you Lord. I thank you Lord.
-
You are light in darkness. You're the light in darkness in
-
Jesus name. Thank you holy Lord.
-
Praise you Jesus, bless you Lord.
-
Come on, lift your voices. Come on, lift your voices.
-
Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord.
-
Thank you, Lord. I don't I don't know what you're
-
playing. I don't, but but it's it's
-
triggering. What is this song?
-
Is is it turning over tables? Was that what you was playing?
-
But it's in my spirit. Amen.
-
Amen. Start at your turning over
-
table. Sing it out.
-
You clean. Out the.
-
Dead, for we are your territory then, Lord, we are your truth.
-
We are your people and you are God.
-
We are your temple. Take us holy like you are.
-
Make us holy like you are. Lay this corn.
-
Make us holy like you, holy like you.
-
See the. Whole nation of love, a chosen
-
generation, a hero called to pray.
-
So help us God to please where all we can see.
-
For every moment I say we are your people.
-
We are your people and you are our our God.
-
We are your level. Make us whole.
-
We are your children. We are your children.
-
You set us up God for your glory make us whole.
-
We are your people. We are your people.
-
You are our God, and we are your dream.
-
Oh, make us holy like you, and we are your children.
-
You've set us so hard. I'm all your holy.
-
Take us holy like you are. Make us.
-
Take your seat for a second while we hold that bridge in our
-
spirit. It's a couple things.
-
There's a couple things I was hearing over there that I want
-
to give you keep out your iPads, your phones, your notebooks,
-
whatever you typewriters, whatever you want to keep out.
-
But I I love, I love, I love, I love everybody.
-
I also love seeing people who live by the spirit.
-
It's a beautiful thing. You know, the Brett was up here
-
and there was some stuff you were saying earlier in your
-
message and, but it led me to something else.
-
I, I, I think in next year when we do some equipping things, we
-
got to, we got to equip, we got to teach people how to sit in
-
the presence of God in atmospheres where he's speaking
-
through people, how to listen. It takes skill.
-
It takes skill. So as you were preaching, it
-
activated some other things. And that's why it's also
-
important to be in your word as well, because Holy Spirit uses
-
he could take you to another scripture that you know of,
-
right? But we got a lot of Google
-
Saints and we, we just think of a topic and we we Google and
-
that's kind of our safety net. But I just want to a couple
-
things. But there was a scripture that I
-
was going to read that you started to read.
-
But I'm glad you didn't read all of it because what I was going
-
to read was more than what you was going to read.
-
But it was clear that you was going that way in the Holy
-
Spirit. So it was confirmation.
-
So thank you. Couple things Elder Brett said,
-
by the way, you did a phenomenal job.
-
Thank you both for our elders. For those that don't know, one
-
of the prerequisites for an A biblical elder is that they can,
-
they can teach the word, not read the Bible, teach the word,
-
and I thank God we got elders that can teach the word.
-
Elder Brat said a couple things. One thing that just stuck out
-
that I think it's important to echo is he said it's decision
-
making day. Anybody remember that?
-
If you don't remember it, write it down.
-
Everybody say it with me three times.
-
Say decision making day. Look at your neighbors, say it's
-
decision making day. Now look at somebody else and
-
say it's decision making day and tell yourself one more time.
-
Say it's decision making day. Silly.
-
That's the one you tell yourself.
-
That's the one you tell yourself, OK, it's decision
-
making day. See, See, people don't
-
understand that although peace, peace was left with us.
-
Peace is a decision. OK, watch this.
-
How many people somebody gave you a job and how many people
-
decided to go to work, right? So you got a job, but how many
-
people know you would have got that job taken if you didn't
-
decide to go to work? Watch this.
-
How many people know that you would have got fired if you
-
didn't make the decision to work on that job based on the
-
policies and procedures they have?
-
If that job say 8:00 AM, that's going to keep you paid, guess
-
what time you got to be at work 8:00 AM Because that's going to
-
keep you paid. And guess how many of y'all
-
would be at work at 8:00 AM? 7-50 to be exact, because it's
-
going to keep you paid. Whereas how principles work.
-
That's why God never gives you the sewing part and not the
-
harvest part, OK? He never gives you the sacrifice
-
without the benefit. He might tell you to go
-
somewhere and don't tell you about there, but He told you if
-
you obey Him, there's always reward, OK?
-
And so peace is a decision. Watch this.
-
The people in here that don't have the peace of God, that is
-
your fault. It's not the devil and it's not
-
God. You've given your peace away.
-
Watch this. I was thinking about this.
-
How many people in here, if you'd make a decision to not lie
-
right now when you sit in church, you're thinking about,
-
you're thinking about other stuff that don't got nothing to
-
do with church, right? We got a lot of liars in here.
-
Amen. But that's OK.
-
That's OK. You don't have peace.
-
That's why you're lying. You think if I expose myself, my
-
piece is going to be stolen. But the truth so sets you free.
-
Now I'm going to do one more time I'm giving.
-
See, Because you don't understand.
-
These are the moments that break chains.
-
You think an altar call is what's going to break a chain?
-
No, no, no, no. Participation breaks chains.
-
He says, OK, well I'm going to stir up the pool.
-
And when the Angel of the Lord dip in the pool and stir it up,
-
it's your job to go ahead and get in the water.
-
Why? Because I put healing in the
-
principle and I put healing in the water.
-
Amen. So how many people have sat in
-
church and have thought, let me tell you something.
-
When I'm up here, I could tell you thinking about something
-
else. So you looking at the screen,
-
you looking at the pastor, but your mind is somewhere else.
-
Raise your hand. Thank you.
-
You hid your hand behind your wife's back.
-
I see. I see you hiding.
-
You hiding. All right.
-
The point is everybody minds drift back to Elder Brett's
-
point. Turn the heater off.
-
Just for a few minutes. Thank you.
-
Back to Elder Brett's point is the disciples, do you know why
-
engaging in a service is important?
-
It's because the conversation you're listening to, you have to
-
combat that. I'm not just saying Amen all the
-
time, or that's good all the time or or come on, preach man
-
of God or standing up and getting engaged.
-
I am telling my body I am here. That's more important than
-
what's going on here in my medulla.
-
And I got to keep myself alive. And Jesus was frustrated.
-
Watch this. Because he had no plans to calm
-
the storm. Jesus had no plans to wake up
-
and calm the storm. Jesus had no plans to take you
-
out of that situation. But the only way he can get to
-
you sometimes is if he calm your external storm.
-
But why your external storm has become your God and he says I
-
love you so much. Let me calm the storm.
-
But what did he say once he calmed the storm?
-
You unbelieving? He was ticked.
-
He wasn't like let's go back to eating sandwiches buddy.
-
Let's let's hang out. Let me go back to sleep now.
-
OK you guys OK? No, he was like you unbelieving
-
you non faith having generation. You woke me up out of my sleep
-
to calm a storm when I put peace in the boat with you.
-
The storm, the turbulence. I prayed that same prayer and
-
I'm trying to figure out how to reword it because the storm that
-
turbulence causes, it only exposes an inner storm.
-
Jesus said it don't matter how that plane, this ain't doing
-
this because watch this. Christ is my firm foundation.
-
We sing that all the time, huh? The rock on which I It's easy to
-
stand when nothing's pushing you.
-
It's easy to stand when there ain't no wind blowing.
-
It's easy to stand when there ain't no persecution.
-
The reason for this piece is because watch this.
-
We're in the world but not of it.
-
He says you're in it, not of it. He didn't say you're in it and
-
when you die you won't be in it no more.
-
He said while you're in it, you're not of it.
-
So so for the people around you who idolize the natural, they're
-
of it. They're of it.
-
You're not of it. So Jesus is frustrated because
-
he's like, why y'all trying to make me be of it?
-
Why are you trying to make me be of your perception?
-
Why are you trying to make me focus on the storm like you are?
-
You're of that natural storm. I'm over here sleeping good
-
right now. Toes might be a little wet
-
because the water in the boat, but I'm still good.
-
Watch this. Can you, can you have can you
-
have evidence of the storm on you but no storm in you?
-
Yeah, go ahead, write it down. Can you have watch?
-
It can be on me, but not in me. I'm in it, but not of it.
-
What makes you of it is because it's in your heart.
-
They misunderstood peace. They thought peace should be
-
freaking out like them. Watch this.
-
This is important. Jesus say you fix your eyes on
-
me, I'll give you perfect peace. Watch this peace was illustrated
-
right in front of them. It was not that they watched
-
Jesus and they would have fell asleep.
-
But have you ever been on the dance floor and you caught a
-
glimpse of somebody who was off beat?
-
How many of y'all kept watching the person that was off beat?
-
Or did you turn away like you going some in me getting off by
-
watching you off? Jesus stayed there calm and
-
still because the same way an offbeat person can get you off
-
beat. He said just look at me watch
-
this because that storm is actually acting.
-
That water is acting out of character.
-
I didn't make the ocean to toss you around.
-
I didn't make animals to eat, y'all.
-
I didn't make waters to go past the line that I drew for them,
-
the boundaries that I drew for them.
-
But in the rebellion of humanity, all of nature is
-
suffering because of sin. Somebody throwing mints at me, I
-
didn't ask for one. All right?
-
I wish I would have saw who did it.
-
I'm the pastor that throw it back at you.
-
Amen. Hallelujah.
-
Amen. That's funny, but I'm trying.
-
I'm still I'm. I'm trying to, I'm trying to
-
keep my eyes on Jesus because I'm trying to figure out who
-
threw that men at me. Amen.
-
It fell off the table. Thank you.
-
OK, well, Amen. That's the first time in
-
history. I don't know how it got off the
-
All right, All right. He was the source of calm.
-
Jesus was irritated. He had to calm the external
-
storm in order to calm their internal chaos.
-
So calm environment was their Prince of Peace, not Jesus.
-
Calm environments was their Prince of Peace, not Jesus.
-
Enough money in the bank was their Prince of Peace, not Jesus
-
being accepted was their Prince of Peace.
-
Him calming the wind. Watch this.
-
Jesus, having to calm the wind was behavior modification.
-
There are many people in this room.
-
You, you have you have fixed your own storm by modifying your
-
circumstance. Watch this soon as that
-
replacement leave your life, the storm will be back seven times
-
stronger. Hallelujah.
-
I'm talking to it's good to be pastors and leaders like us
-
because we talked to the people that's here, right?
-
You walked in here with your modification.
-
You walked in here with your modification.
-
I promise you the Lord's coming for your modification so he can
-
get to you. Now watch this.
-
If you are the if, if, if your modification walked in here as a
-
person, then I'm going to say this next thing to the
-
modification. If you are the modification in
-
somebody's life, you're being used.
-
Eventually you will not satisfy the gap that you filled.
-
Watch this. It's like being the number two
-
or the side piece. No, don't be somebody else
-
modification. Somebody say run.
-
I'll end with this. Can you put up Galatians 516 T
-
PT? And I need 1000% of the people
-
in here to lock in for this end. And then we'll sing this bridge
-
and we'll go home on this last Sunday of the year.
-
Get ready for New Year's Eve to get what God has to say about
-
2026. I need everybody, especially the
-
young people. That's everybody.
-
I need you to lock in. I need you in this moment.
-
Do not answer. No text message.
-
I really need you to get this. This is everything.
-
This is, this is everything. This passage is everything.
-
This passage is like the key to the city.
-
As you yield freely and full is this TPT Yield freely and fully.
-
As you yield freely and fully to the dynamic life and power of
-
the Holy Spirit, you will abandoned the cravings of
-
yourself life. What the self life is, is the
-
life of the flesh. Now I want you to see this very
-
clearly. It did not say, as you stop
-
sinning, some of you struggle with sin because you're not
-
yielded to the Spirit. He says as you yield to the
-
Spirit fully, you will not even crave what the flesh wants.
-
So as you yield to the Spirit, give me less, give me less, give
-
me less, give me way less. As you yield fully to the
-
Spirit, watch this, your flesh loses power.
-
Watch this. It comes to a point where you're
-
no longer battling with your flesh, you're dominating your
-
flesh. And I spent too many years
-
battling with my flesh instead of yielding to the Spirit, and
-
my life in the Spirit causes my flesh to yield.
-
Some of y'all in here battling with your flesh every day trying
-
to stop sinning, trying not to think about that.
-
Instead of wake up in the morning and yield to the Spirit,
-
put your mind on the word of God.
-
You trying to go throughout the day.
-
I'm not going to be on Instagram.
-
How easy would it be to stay off Instagram?
-
When you put your mind on Him, your craving to get on there
-
would diminish. It says as you yield freely.
-
This is not OK. Well, I got to read the Bible
-
today. Don't read the Bible then,
-
because you're sowing grudgingly.
-
You won't reap nothing. You going to read?
-
How many times have you read because you thought you had to
-
read? And after you read, you went and
-
got in your flesh because you wasn't reading in intimacy, you
-
were reading out of obligation. As you yield freely and fully to
-
the dynamic life and power of the Holy Ghost, you will
-
abandoned the cravings of yourself.
-
Life. Watch it for yourself.
-
Life craves hinder. OK, tap your neighbor on the
-
shoulder and say stay woke. Say lean in, watch this, tap
-
them one more time. Say your flesh does not want to
-
hear this right now. Tap your other neighbors.
-
Say if you need me to stand up with you so you can stay
-
focused, I will do that. I, I think, I think the Lord
-
wants you to tell your neighbor one more thing.
-
Tap them on there and say, you've been kind of silly in
-
2025, so we need to get it together.
-
All right, All right, all right. Here it is.
-
Pay attention. For real.
-
I care about you. I love you.
-
I really do. For yourself life, the stuff
-
that that that satisfy you. Everybody struggles with this.
-
For yourself life craves the things that offend the Holy
-
Spirit. Man, I just want to tell them
-
off. Yourself life want to tell them
-
off. But when you tell them off, it
-
offends the Holy Ghost yourself life want to get back in that
-
relationship, but it offends the Holy Ghost, right?
-
Remember Elder John said at some point you got to choose, right?
-
So you see it's two governments going on on the inside, self
-
government and Holy Spirit government.
-
Watch this. Yeah, watch this.
-
Watch this. I got out that relationship and
-
I'm missing sex. Self life is like right, your
-
your flesh is woke self life is but watch this.
-
You got to get this before we read self life, that choice and
-
watch this entertaining the thought.
-
See, we think, oh, I slipped in. That's the sin.
-
No, no, no, no, he says even here you letting it nest is the
-
sin. He says watch this, it offends
-
the Holy Ghost. Watch this, the help you need,
-
watch this. When you offend the Holy Ghost,
-
production stops. The fruit of the Spirit is
-
produced by the Holy Ghost working in you.
-
We're about to see that the cravings of the flesh hinder the
-
production. So the very thing you actually
-
want peace, joy, you're actually working against your own joy.
-
OK, Watch it, watch it, watch this and the and the and the
-
holy and the Holy Spirit, intense craving for the God
-
things in your life actually hinder your old self life.
-
Come who flick it, who flick it? Come on.
-
OK, Spirit's intense cravings hinder your old self life from
-
dominating you. Somebody say thank you, Jesus.
-
Right, here's the battle, but this isn't the design, this is
-
the intervention. So the Holy Spirit, if you are a
-
believer, he's in there worrying.
-
He's in there trying to say no, I don't want that.
-
When you was in the world, you didn't have the thing in you
-
saying I don't want that. It was flesh, all gas, no
-
brakes. But now you got saved and the
-
Holy Ghost like if me and you going to walk live.
-
I don't want to drink that. I don't need that.
-
I am a drink Holy Spirit. I am the high I I I am the
-
euphoria. I am the I am the good feeling.
-
Watch this so, so his desires are contending with yours.
-
And that's why it you, you, you get offended with, with folks
-
that's trying to live right around you because the Holy
-
Spirit in them is convicting the flesh in you.
-
So you want watch, watch how you choose who you hang out with.
-
Watch how you choose who you listen to.
-
Oftentimes the ones that will speak to your carnal desires,
-
Elder John Ero you don't want to talk to them because you know
-
they going to give you what the Spirit won't.
-
Watch this. So then the two incompatible and
-
conflicting forces within you watch this.
-
The two I'm really helping somebody because 2026 Yep,
-
trying to help you. Now go back.
-
There are two. So then the two incompatible and
-
conflicting forces within you, where are they?
-
Within you are yourself, life, all what you want, what you
-
think, and the new creation life of the spirit.
-
And you thought when you got saved everything was going to be
-
easier. No, no, no.
-
You started a war. You just invited a war and this
-
is the good news. And This is why I need to yield
-
to the governor of the Kingdom of God, because he's the one
-
that's going to govern. So he's not just, it's just not
-
the Holy Spirit. Have your way.
-
No, no, no, no, no. He says thank you, but you got
-
to do what I tell you to do for me to have my way.
-
OK is at least five people with me right now.
-
OK, cool. But when you are brought into
-
full the full freedom of the spirit of grace, you will no
-
longer be living under you can even stop the pad.
-
I need them to hear this. You will no longer be living
-
under the domination of the law. Watch this.
-
So there comes a freedom that when the Holy Spirit truly has
-
you, there's things you're not not trying to do.
-
You're not spending your day fighting temptation and not
-
trying to drink, or not trying to sleep with him or her or not
-
trying to get in a relationship. When you know you ain't healthy,
-
that battle is over. So I understand when I really
-
start living in Jesus is when I stop battling with my flesh and
-
truly fully surrender. Watch this.
-
The person that loves themself ends the battle.
-
How do you end the battle? Bible says choose ye this day.
-
Life, government, deaf government, trying to help
-
somebody today. But you soar above it.
-
You soar above it. Which means there are some
-
things you should stop being tempted to do now.
-
This is where 110% people got to listen because many people don't
-
know this part. Elder John, the cravings of the
-
self life is obvious. Come on, come on, come on.
-
I need everybody pay attention. Come on, tap your neighbors say.
-
Pay attention. Tap your neighbors say.
-
Stop being fidgety. For real, for real.
-
For real, for real. Here's how you know a person
-
that lives in the flesh and here's how you know your flesh
-
is dominating you. This is what the Bible say.
-
Watch this. The cravings of the self life
-
are first one sexual immorality. Yep, lustful.
-
Watch this lustful thoughts. Oh, how long you going to
-
entertain that? Watch this.
-
You think lustful thoughts is sex?
-
No, no, no. Sexual immorality is sexual
-
immorality. Lustful thoughts.
-
I can't put this down. Even when I put it down, I'm
-
thinking about it. Even when I leave somebody, I'm
-
still thinking about it. I'm thinking about lying.
-
I didn't lie. I'm just thinking about lying.
-
I didn't manipulate nobody, but I'm thinking about how I can get
-
over, right. My my flesh is controlling my
-
thoughts. Now watch this pornography.
-
Here it is chasing after things instead of God.
-
Oh, so it's not saying it. Watch this.
-
It's not you kill somebody. Watch this.
-
I'm not possessed by no demons. OK, cool.
-
Your flesh run. You manipulating people.
-
It's called witchcraft. Hatred of those who get in your
-
way. Senseless arguments.
-
You know the people. Watch this.
-
Let me give you a better word. Argumentative.
-
You know people, huh? What you say.
-
What? What you say.
-
I didn't say nothing. No.
-
No, you did What you say, Huh? Say it again, Huh.
-
Baiting Argumentative Watch this Another form of argumentative is
-
gossip. Gossip is an argument, the
-
bearer of bad news. Senseless argument.
-
Resentment when others are favored.
-
Temper tantrums. Won't play the music on this
-
because even adults have these. Some of y'all married couples.
-
Your your spouse be having temper tantrums.
-
Watch this Angry quarrels. Watch this only thinking of
-
yourself. Not how it hurts other people,
-
not how your decision is going to impact other people.
-
Only thinking about yourself and being in love with your own
-
opinions. Oh, watch this.
-
Being envious of the blessings of others murder.
-
I like how that one was down the list.
-
What did the list start off with?
-
That's even that's that's not watch this.
-
You don't got to be physical with somebody to be sexually
-
immoral, uncontrolled addictions.
-
I'm not. I'm not going to try to control
-
it. Watch his addictions.
-
So that's not just drugs and alcohol.
-
That's this for us. That's this for us.
-
Uncontrolled. You didn't say uncontrollable.
-
I like uncontrolled because it says you're not taking
-
responsibility to control it. Wild parties watch this.
-
I love this. For the few people in here
-
that's like, yeah, I pass. There was nothing in there for
-
me. Cool.
-
And all other similar behavior dot dot dot dot haven't I
-
already warned you that those here it is here it is EJED.
-
Haven't I already warned you that those who use their freedom
-
for these things? Will not inherit the Kingdom
-
realm where peace is those who use their freedom.
-
He's talking to all believers who have been set free by Jesus.
-
You use your freedom not for discipline, not for yielding to
-
the Holy Spirit. You use your freedom to let your
-
flesh watch this. You are you.
-
You. You lean on grace as your bail
-
bondsman, so you can commit as many crimes as you want to to
-
the One that lives in you next. But I can't give you the flesh.
-
But the fruit of the Spirit within you is divine love in all
-
its varied expressions. Here it is.
-
Watch this. None of these exists below.
-
Love if love is not anchored, Joy that overflows, peace that
-
subdues, patience that endures, Kindness in action, a life full
-
of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of heart and strength
-
of spirit. This is very beautiful.
-
Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to
-
be limitless. Keep in mind that we who belong
-
to Jesus, the Anointed One, have already experienced crucifixion,
-
right? For everything connected with
-
our self life was put to death on the cross and crucified with
-
Messiah, right? So we must live in the Holy Holy
-
Spirit and follow after him, right?
-
So if you're saved by Jesus's blood, but you're saved, who's
-
working out your salvation, Who drew you to God is the Holy
-
Spirit. So you must continue to be led
-
by Him. I don't know how else to help
-
you, but I can tell you every single issue that's happening in
-
this room, every area of where there's no peace, you can find
-
your, your, your, your, your pill right here.
-
Let's simplify it. Where your flesh is ruling, you
-
have decided to not yield to the Holy Spirit.
-
And if you will not yield to the Holy Spirit, watch this.
-
Yield your relationships to the Holy Spirit before you start
-
picking new people, watch this. Yield your body to the Holy
-
Spirit before you start. Watch this.
-
When you sleeping around, let me help you.
-
For those that don't know, when you sleeping around, guess who
-
else is right there inside you? Holy Spirit?
-
Guess who you working against? It's no way you can sleep around
-
living in sexual immorality and have the peace of God.
-
So watch this. You now live in the Kingdom of
-
anxiety. Your life is being governed by
-
anxiety, and until you can get all of that under control by way
-
of the Holy Spirit, not modification, then you are a
-
dangerous person to partner with on any level.
-
Friend, girlfriend, boyfriend, husband, business partner, you
-
are absolutely dangerous. So as you're out there picking
-
who you going to hang with, I challenge you to see who governs
-
their life before you can make the decision on how you will
-
govern your relationship with them.
-
Because if the Holy Ghost do not govern their life, watch this,
-
then anxiety will spill into your life.
-
You will get water in your boat and then be trying to wake Jesus
-
up and say why my feet wet? And he's just going to say,
-
where have you been focused? And so my prayer today, Elder
-
John, Elder Brett, we pray over you today.
-
And we say thank you for filling, filling this room with
-
wisdom, filling this room with direction, filling this room
-
with courage, filling this room with the word of peace.
-
Lord, fill these men of God back up till they overflow.
-
Lord, I speak a harvest into their lives for their obedience.
-
Lord, I thank you. We will be a peace of a people
-
of peace. May may our response to your
-
word not just be a man. May it be I do?
-
A. Yielded people fully committed
-
to your power, your presence. Take 30 seconds, open your mouth
-
and just seal today. Seal the Sundays of 2025 with
-
some faith statements, some repentance, a little worship.
-
Just lift your voices tell you I'm talking about.
-
Pray in a way that your flesh is like, uh oh, something's
-
shifted. Something has changed.
-
Yeah. I put my flesh under my feet in
-
Jesus name. You have no power. 2026 will be
-
my most disciplined year. 2026 will be my most peaceful year.
-
Holy Spirit, we yield to you. Holy Spirit, we yield to you
-
corporately. We yield to you individually.
-
We yield to you. Come on, Somebody make up their
-
mind today that my flesh will not rule my life.
-
If peace is in the boat, I'm standing in the boat.
-
Come on, we fix our eyes. Come on, come tell your flesh.
-
I'm fixing my eyes on him. Come on, I'm I'm putting my
-
marriage before him. I'm, I'm putting my children
-
before him. I'm putting my career before
-
him. Come on, take a few more
-
moments. Come on.
-
Your family needs it. Your coworkers need it.
-
Your teammates need it. Your business partners need it.
-
Your spouse needs it. May peace anchor you.
-
Come on. 10 more seconds of power.
-
Open your mouths, Intercessors. Come on.
-
I want to be marked by your glory.
-
I want to be marked by your presence.
-
I want to be marked by your love.
-
I want to be marked by your faith.
-
I want to be marked by your hope.
-
Come on. Come on, we love you, Lord.
-
We love you, Lord. We love you, Lord.
-
We love you, Lord. Come on, Say Hallelujah.
-
Come on, say Hallelujah, Hallelujah.
