Peace: The Key to Stand in the Year of the Host //12PM// Elder John Swain Jr.

Father, we thank you for this time, We really do.

Jesus is the life and Jesus is the light in every way.

We thank you, Father, for another opportunity to do what

only you can do. Pastors, we thank you for an

opportunity to share the Word of God with God's people.

It's a privilege and an honor and I thank you for it.

I really do. It means so much.

Amen. Amen.

Y'all ready to receive today? I'm going to tell you today.

I believe that while I'm sharing this word, God's going to

people's sins are going to be forgiven.

And while I'm sharing the Word, people's bodies going to be

healed. While I'm sharing the Word,

people's depression is going to be lifted.

While I'm sharing the Word, transformation is happening.

While I'm sharing the Word, deliverance is occurring while

I'm sharing the Word. Lives are shifting while I'm

sharing the Word. Bloodlines are being made new

while I'm sharing the Word today.

I believe while I'm sharing the Word, God's Kingdom will be in

manifest and be on the move. While I'm sharing the Word

today, addiction will be broken. While I'm sharing the Word

today, call will be realized and activated while I'm sharing

today. Closure will happen without

having to talk to nobody while I'm sharing the Word today.

While I'm sharing the Word today, pride will be lifted and

pride will be broken. While I'm sharing the Word

today, the glory of God shall be revealed.

While I'm sharing the Word today, I really believe that.

I really do. The Kingdom will be advanced

while I'm sharing the word today.

I want to talk about peace specifically before I get there.

Yeah, I was talking about peace. I'm just going to go there, talk

about peace. Hey, man, everyone say peace.

Now, now, now, now we've talking about the Lord of Hosts.

Everyone say Lord of Hosts, that's the year of the, this is

the year of the host, OK. And it's specifically connecting

to the Lord of hosts. And I was impressed in my heart

and my spirit to talk about peace in connection with the

Lord of hosts. And so the title of my, of my

sharing today of the word of God today that I'm sharing or the

message that I'm sharing is peace a key to stand in the year

of the host. Peace, a key to stand in the

year of the host. It is really important to

understand that what has gone before us is to equip us for

where we're in. OK.

Why is that important? Because if you don't know that,

you'll leave what has gone before behind and you'll miss

its importance for you. Where you are and how it's

supposed to move you forward makes sense.

The other thing about connecting what has been to what is

currently is to help you understand the process and the

way of God. Because things move in in cycles

or in rhythms of sorts, right? So when you see God begin to

talk about peace again, then maybe you can perceive, well,

then the Lord of hosts is going to demonstrate in a different

way after that, because peace is the key for walking in or for

letting the Lord of hosts demonstrate, manifest who He is.

Amen. Amen.

So I want to talk about the Lord of hosts.

The Lord of hosts is the God of the Angel armies, the Lord.

Of hosts is the God of Angel. Armies.

The Lord of hosts is the God of Angel Armies, the Lord of hosts

is the King of glory. That's the Lord of hosts, the

Lord Sabbath, the Lord of hosts, and it's important to know who

he is. He is the What would that mean?

The Lord of Hosts is in this specific direction.

It means. I am the.

Lord, that's leading all of the hosts of heaven.

Come on. All of the angels of heaven, all

of the Angel armies of heaven, all of the resources of heaven,

I am the Lord that's leading all of those.

I lead them into battle. I lead them into their work.

I lead them into exactly where they need to be doing and where

they need to go. The Lord of hosts.

OK, but he's also the King of glory.

So when he's going into battle, there's a glory that comes.

What? What would be a picture of that

if you saw, for example, this, this horde of 10s of thousands

of, of, of soldiers coming descending upon an area and the

dust that kicked up as they would come say they are all

riding horses, OK. And the dust that kicks up as

they all ride horses into battle.

That's kind of the glory that accompanies the Lord of hosts.

He's the king of glory as well as the Lord of hosts.

What does that mean? It means that he's the Lord that

fights. He's the Lord that delivers.

He's the Lord that gathers. That's from Malachi.

You know when Malachi 3 we're talking about in the back,

Malachi 3, he says, prove me in this, says the Lord of hosts.

Prove me that if you tithe and give that I won't open the

windows of heaven, that there will be a blessing so large you

won't be able to contain it. Prove me, says the Lord of

hosts. He's the Lord that gathers and

the Lord that supervises. He's the Lord that enforces.

He shows up to make sure everything is in order, the way

it needs to be. The Lord of hosts, you know, and

policing that what they have, what they call force more

multipliers. Everyone that heard of that term

force multipliers, What does that mean?

I can have one thing that represents more than just that

thing. So for example, a police officer

on a horse represents, I don't remember the number, but

represents like 25 police officers on the ground.

There's something about a mounted officer, something about

an officer seated in a high and lifted up place that multiplies

their impact, in part because everyone can see and they can

see everyone. OK, force multiplier.

So the Lord of Hosts shows up and just comes in on the horse

and sometimes just stands there making sure things are stayed in

an order. It's the Lord enthroned on the

ark Elder Brett set me up. He sets me up a lot.

The elder Brett set me up from this morning is the Lord that

has enthroned on the ark. He was talking about the glory

and cherubim and those kind of things.

The Ark of the Covenant, right? So the Lord of.

Hosts is the name. For the God or the character of

God, that's. On that, on that seat in the.

Ark OK, so you got the cherubim that's there.

OK, stop. Got the cherubim that's there.

The Lord of Hosts is the name for the God that's present

there. OK, He's the Lord enthroned on

the Ark. This is who he is.

It's the ark that led people in the battle.

It's the ark that led them across stormy waters and stormy

rivers. It's the ark that went before

them wherever they went. And armies 5th.

Just think about Raiders of the Lost Ark when they're talking

about the Lord, the Ark of the Covenant, right?

When the character says this, in the Raiders of the Lost Ark,

whoever possessed the Ark were invincible, for every army would

fall before them, right? That's what the Ark represented,

that divine glory, the Lord of hosts.

And it's interesting that even in the imagery.

Of the Ark. And and the Lord of hosts being

present there, you see these angels, these cherubim.

Cherubim may not technically be angels, but you see these

angelic beings represent represented there.

So if the Lord of. Hosts.

Is the God of the Angel armies and the King of glory if the

Lord of hosts is the Lord that fights, the Lord that delivers,

the Lord that gathers, the Lord that enforces, and it's the Lord

enthroned on the ark if that is the Lord of hosts?

You have to ask yourself this. Or you maybe don't.

I would. Why does?

He. Come.

If that's who he is, why does he come?

Ask yourself that. Why does he come?

It's very important to understand.

You can be in church and we talk about the Word and the things of

God and it can seem like fairy tales to you and to me it can

seem like imaginations that surely, well we believe they

happened, but you know, it really is still more of a story

than it was a reality. You have to ask yourself what is

happening before, during and after the Lord of Hosts shows

up? Why do you need a warrior God to

be present? Why The reason a warrior shows

up? Because war has already broken

out. So when the Lord of Hosts shows

up, the environment is warfare. The environment can be chaos.

There's already an enemy who has demonstrated superiority.

The battle's already been raging.

I would even go as far as to say this.

There is a question as to whether the battle will turn for

evil forever. The Lord of Hosts show comes

because of the evil, because of the battle, because of the

display of, of, of of just oppression that has occurred

before they come. What happens while the Lord of

Hosts is present? What do you think is happening?

There's fighting going on. There's battling happening.

Real battle. Not fake battle.

Real battle happening. And then what happens after the

Lord of hosts shows up? You have to ask yourself that.

At least I do, OK? You don't want to be pushy,

Church. You have to ask yourself that.

OK, so here's the picture. A battle has occurred before the

Lord of Hosts shows up. So what happens if someone was

to come and break out and attack a country?

What happens? Power grids go down, Water

becomes polluted, People become fearful.

Food becomes scarce. There could be fights over

resources and supplies. People begin to turn on each

other. Violence in the streets.

Criminality begins to rise. That's all that's happening.

Before it comes fear. It's filling people's hearts,

and so refugees are trying to find a place to go, not knowing

where to go. People are defending their

borders. You can't come in here because

we can't keep you and can't help you, and we don't want your war

spilling over into our territory.

There's anxiety and there's angst.

There's potentially hopelessness coming up.

That's what's happening before the Lord of hosts shows up.

So then the Lord of hosts shows up and then what happens?

The God of the Angel armies happens.

Then there's a battle that breaks out.

So you have conflict between two forces, you have warfare,

conflict between two forces. OK, you have the sound of

conflict, you have the cost of conflict, and you have the smell

of conflict. You know, a lot of soldiers will

tell you this. People come back from war.

I have not been in the war physically, but I I've heard

this said in different times. Coming back from war, you can

forget what you saw many times you can forget what you heard.

But it's almost impossible to forget the smell, the smell of

death. It's hard to forget that, well,

that's happening when the Lord of Hosts shows up.

Like for real? For real, though, there's a

smell that's present. Amen.

And then what happens after the Lord of Hosts shows up?

So here's an example of the Lord of Hosts showing up right in the

Old Testament. I says that God told the people,

y'all hang back here, I'm going to go out in front of you.

And after I go out in front of you, then y'all come.

People said OK, so God went out front.

People said OK. And then when they showed up,

the enemy had had self slaughter that killed themselves.

So what happens after the Lord of hosts shows up?

Anyone. They're dead bodies every place.

Now you got to deal with burying the dead.

You got to deal with sanitation. You got to deal with potential

retaliation from the folks that have died, from people who know

those people that have died. There's a lot of clean up that

has to happen. Infrastructure has been

destroyed in the battle, right? There's trash, there's garbage,

all of that. That's after the Lord of hosts

shows up. So it's great we want the Lord

of hosts showing up. But I understand the context of

what that means. Now I know we may say this, and

I do believe this with with with all my heart.

Well, well, EJ, the Lord of hosts showed up in the Old

Testament. That was literal battle.

We are in the Kingdom of God. We're under grace.

We're with Jesus now, and it doesn't mean literal battle, OK?

There is a space where, yes, it applies spiritually more than

naturally because our enemies are not flesh and blood.

We understand that OK, But also do understand though that we may

see more of it be literal than you think and God is trying to

prepare his people for a literal showing up.

Is Jesus going to literally show up?

If you read the Book of Revelation, which you should,

Why not because you need to understand it.

Hopefully you do. But one of the first chapters

that says this, blessed are they that read the book, get a

blessing, read the book. Easiest blessing you ever got.

I used to teach at Douglas College and I tell students to

bring a name tag. I said I would give you points

for your name tag on the desk all the time.

OK. And he said, man, why I got to

bring a name tag? I said what you mean That's the

easiest point you'll get in my class.

Bring the name tag, get the points.

It ain't got to be that deep. OK, Read Revelation.

You get a blessing for reading it, not for understanding.

Blessed are they to read this book.

Not that they understand the book, right?

Anyway, in Revelation talks about battles and fights and

Armageddon and enemies coming down.

You think that's just spiritual? You think that's going to

actually happen? Spoiler alert, it's going to

actually happen, right? God is preparing His people.

We have lived in a very merciful time in which many times we have

not experienced those things. Canada, and North America in

particular, has not experienced land on its soil since the

1800s. Other nations may have, but

Canada hasn't. So for us, it's almost like,

yeah, I know that's war, but it almost becomes like something

you watch on TV kind of, you know what I'm saying?

It's kind of like a story. It's not like I got to go

outside today and wonder where the bomb going to drop and

explode in front of me, right when I hear the bomb sirens, I'm

looking for Is it in the area of the school where my kids go?

Does that make sense? And please, Canada, do not

believe that because you're Canada that and because we're

Canada that we're going to be kept from some of the struggles

and challenges that the world is facing.

God cannot be God of the earth. If Canada was exempt because

then Canada would think it's because of our own might and our

own systems and our own abouts and our own, you know, that,

that, that we did all of this right?

The, the, the Bible says that the government should be on

Jesus shoulders, correct? That means every government has

to be shown to fail. Every government has to be shown

to be inferior to the government of Jesus.

Everyone you ask Canada, everybody there has to be a

demonstrated failing of every government.

So some of the things people are talking about people will be

experiencing here in Canada too. So God is preparing.

The Lord of hosts comes because yes, there are spiritual battles

to be had, but he also comes, yes, because there are physical

battles to be had as well. So the question is this, are you

in or are you out? That's the question we talked

about last time, peace being a government.

So peace is not a feeling. It's really kind of a it's it's

a government, It's a reality. OK, So if peace is a government,

that means you can enter into it.

Like I cross the border from the US into BC, I enter into the

government of BC. But I enter.

Into the government, right? When you go from here into

Vancouver, you enter in. Welcome to Vancouver, Vancouver,

anyway. Vancouver, Vancouver.

Welcome to Vancouver. One more to get out of my

system. Welcome to Vancouver anyway.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyway, when you enter into

Vancouver. You're into a different

government, right? So when you say change of gut,

you entered into a reality, a space and a place, right?

So if peace is a government, then peace is a, is a, is a,

it's a person in Jesus, of course, but it's also like a

space, a place. So the question is this, when

the circumstances that call for the Lord of hosts show up, are

you going to be in him? Are you going to be out of him?

Are you in or are you out? Are you in peace or you're out

of peace? Noah had to make that decision

in the ark or out the ark. Rahab had to make that decision.

That's the prostitute that was on the wall.

And he said, listen, we know you.

We know God has given our city into your hands.

People of God, all I'm asking you, spare me and my family.

And he said, listen, here's a red string.

Put it on your window so we know what you want to to spare.

Whoever in your house gets saved.

If they're not, it ain't on us. So if they want them to protect

it, it's on you to make sure that they're in because either

in or they're out. The virgins from the New

Testament right with the with the oil.

While the master came, some were going away to get more oil.

The ones that had the oil went in.

They were in either in or you're out.

The bridegrooms invitation. He invited them to come and some

folk didn't. Apart from the virgins, the all

these stories in the Bible or parables in the Bible, are you

going to be in or you're out? Where are you?

Are you in or you're out? There's no middle ground.

You're the in or you're out. OK, Are you looking up or

looking back? Because you can be in but still

be out. Quick story.

This young man throwing a tantrum.

Mama said sit down. After the Mama told him several

times, the young man finally sat down.

But he looked at his mom and said mom may be sitting down.

But on the. Inside I'm still standing up,

Mama, So you can be in and still be out.

You can be in the house but not rooted in the house.

You can be in a marriage but still be.

After marriage you can be in a. Relationship and still be out.

The question is, so are you looking up or looking back?

If you're inside physically but your mind is on the other side

of town, your mind is looking backwards, then you are not

effectively availing yourself of all that's provided by being in.

Adam look back at Eve, forgot God.

Eve look back at the fruit, forgot God.

Moses look back. God said I destroy all the

people, start over again with you.

Moses looked back and said God, but the folks in Egypt not going

to. What's that going to look like

to them? You don't look like a fool in

Egypt. Moses looking back, not looking

up towards God. Lot's wife look back, pillar

salt, the plowman. Jesus says the plowman that

starts to plow and looks back ain't worthy of me, the

businessman, The parable says, I want to follow you, but let me

try my real estate. Let me try my business.

Let me try my oxen first. Go ahead.

But you ain't fit if you're going to be looking back.

The newly married, I just got married.

Jesus cannot deal with my my honeymoon my my honeymoon.

What's up? What's up?

Moon, Moon, Moon work. Lips work.

Anyway, my honeymoon, right? The Ephesians church in

Revelation, right? You've forgotten your first

love. You're looking.

You're looking to other things. You're not looking up at your

first love. Are you in or you're out?

Everyone say peace. This is about peace.

Your peace follows your vision and your confession.

Your peace follows your vision and your confession.

The Bible says this, that if you keep your eyes focused on Jesus,

He'll keep you in perfect peace. If your eyes and your mind has

stayed on him. Shout out Sonia Blakey, trust in

the Lord Jehovah. Anyway, that's another one.

Your peace follows your vision and your confession.

What you see and what you say, OK, your confession doesn't

follow your peace. Why do I say confession rather

than statement? Confession is something that we

are saying consistently. The King James, everyone say

King James say sometimes they really get it right.

And the King James, it doesn't talk about a confession of

faith, it talks about a professional faith, Say

profession. Now profession means what, what,

what's profession Suggest I do this.

That means that mean I go 8 hours a day.

If I'm a professional basketball player, that means I'm doing

this. All the time, in season out of

season, I'm doing this. All the time, 12 months a year,

constantly, consistently. When they say my name, they say

professional player John. Like a Hall of Famer.

Hall of Famer John I. Like that, OK.

The idea of profession means I'm doing it consistently.

Your piece follows your vision and your confession.

What you consistently say regularly.

Now you the great thing about a confession, you don't need a

priest and you don't need like a little, a little shade to have

confession all the time. You can just say what God says

about you wherever you go, wherever you are, you can do

that period. That's what it means to the

confession I'm talking about. I am the righteousness of God in

Christ Jesus. I can say to any place,

anywhere, anytime. And how regularly I say that

impacts how much that comes. So your peace will follow your

vision and your confession. OK everyone say Amen.

Now to the meat. Now I want to talk about a verse

of scripture that helps you understand this.

Why is your peace so important? Because your peace is what's

going to keep you when the Lord of hosts is present.

Noah had to go into an ark knowing all of his family and

friends were going to be destroyed.

The God did him a favor. It says God closed the door.

I can only imagine if Noah had to close that door himself.

I got him closing the door. And all the people that I know

and my cousins and my relatives, my aunts, my nephews, the kids.

I've said this and I've thought about this sometimes.

What was the sound when Noah, when the rains came, the

screaming, the wailing, the drowning, the animals being

swallowed up whole, the noise of all of that, right?

Noah had to have peace to be able to let that door close and

know that God got it and move forward.

Because if Noah moves forward thinking about that what

happened, he's not going to be able to do what God needs him to

do when the when the Lord of hosts shows up.

You need a peace that allows you to deal with the fact dead

bodies every place and not be overly traumatized.

You need a peace that deals with the fact you hear war raging all

around you and not be scared or be afraid.

You need, you need peace to be able to be so anchored and what

God's telling you that you're not at the window looking out at

what's happening. Look it out at the fighting and

the battle and the things. OK?

You need a peace. Now, some people think this kind

of peace is I, I don't care. No, it doesn't mean I don't

care. It means I just decided to cast

my cares and be anchored in the Lord.

See, this is the peace Jesus had when he walked past the man at

the beautiful gate. He was there 38 years, just

walked past them all the time. This is the peace that Jesus had

when he said to the woman, it's not good for me to give the

children's bread to the dogs. This is the peace that Jesus had

when he was in the boat and the storms were raging.

You need a peace that surpasses all understanding.

When the Lord of hosts shows up. You know what survivor's guilt

is in war. Have you heard about survivor's

guilt? People in battle, This guy's

head gets blown up. His brains get splattered on to

the person that's here. This person makes it out.

They're like, why me? Not Even so much?

Thank God me. You almost feel guilty saying,

God, thank you for getting me out when you people that you

knew, and some people will say this, people that were even

better people than me, why me? You need peace not to be given

over to survivor's guilt. You know God is going to have to

have a peace when judgment comes and those who've aligned

themselves with with Satan find themselves in eternal torment in

hell. There's a real heaven and

there's a real hell. It's not meant to scare.

It's just the truth. But I'm going to tell you this

also. Hell is never meant for people,

ever. Hell's never ever meant for

people. It was only meant for rebellious

angels. Well then why do people go

there? Not because God sends them, but

because they choose to follow the rebellious Angel more than

they choose to follow God. And the and the and this, this

is the gospel of the rebellious Angel.

Ready. Yolo.

You only live once, man. Make it.

Do what it do. Eat, drink and be merry.

Live it up. Whatever your eyes see to do,

grab it. Whatever you feel, feels the

Duke, do it. Forget about tomorrow.

It's only about today. That's the gospel of them

angels, man. Get that money.

Grind, grind, grind. You run You.

Ain't nobody. The boss of you.

Can't nobody judge you. You run you.

That's the gospel of those fallen angels.

People choose to believe that gospel versus the one that Jesus

says. All of that sin, I've paid the

price for it. I've given my life for it.

Sin is no longer a problem in the earth.

Technically, sin really never was a problem before sin entered

the earth. No one knew sin.

When sin into the earth, God had already provided A sacrifice for

it. The Bible says that Jesus was

the Lamb of God, slain before the foundations of the world.

Sin was never going to be a real problem.

God had already had plans to deal with it.

The issue is whether you choose his solution or not.

It's like the highway officer saying, listen, a bridge is

washed out a little bit ahead, but there's another Rd. you can

take. We got officers along the way.

It'll get you to safety. Listen, I want to take the road

where the bridge is. It was your unwillingness to

take the provision that was provided that causes the issue.

That's what hell is for, those angels and those that choose to

follow their gospel more than the sacrifice and the free

provision of God. I'd rather pay for it myself

than just ride in on the grace of God that's provided for me.

It's going to take peace for God to see those people that He made

that He loves. It's been a life eternally in

torment. It's going to take peace to be

in heaven and with you and not the whole time thinking about

those that didn't make it. It's going to take peace for you

to be in heaven, not thinking about those that didn't make it

when the Lord of hosts shows up because of what he's showing up

to do, to fight, to battle, to destroy the set right you.

Got to have. Peace.

Otherwise you may be tempted to begin to enter in emotionally on

other ways, into trauma and things that are not for you.

You get into guilt and other things so that peace is

important. That's why God gives us Psalm

91. It says He who dwells in the

secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of

the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my

refuge and my fortress. My God and Him all I trust.

Remember your peace follows your confession.

He is my refuge and my fortress. My God and whom I trust.

How do I enter into the peace of God that's needed when the Lord

of hosts is doing Lord of hosts things?

You are my refuge. You are my fortress.

You my God and I trust in you. I dwell in the secret place of

the Most High. I abide under the shadow of the

Almighty. I say continually, Lord, you are

my refuge and you are my fortress.

You are my God and I will find trust and lean in you.

Your peace follows your confession.

Psalm 9134 says this. Surely He shall deliver you from

the snare of the Fowler. So have peace.

Stop worrying about Fowler things.

Stop following the Fowler IG page trying to figure out what

the Fowler's doing. He would keep you from

delivering you from the perilous pestilence.

I know this disease running through the streets.

But don't be so focused on that. Focus on the fact that you are

my refuge. You are my fortress.

You are my God, and I will trust in you.

He shall cover you with his feathers, that's his flame of

fire. He shall hover over you with his

glory, and under his wings He shall take refuge.

For you are my refuge, and you are my fortress, and you are my

God. And in you all I trust his truth

shall be your shield and shall be your buckler.

Shall be that what you fight with and that which guards you.

And to gird you. How are you?

Let me ask you this. How will that happen?

You are my refuge. You are my fortress.

You are my God, and I trust in you.

I'm hidden in Him. You know, this is where the

three Hebrew boys were in the Old Testament.

Somehow when they when they put them in the fire, they went to a

new dimension. They went from the fire in the

world to the peace in God. That's why they could be

surrounded and not smell and not smoke and not be destroyed

because they were literally hidden in a whole nother place.

Verse 5 says this. You shall not be afraid of the

terror by night. Have peace.

For you and the refuge of the Most High God, He's your

fortress. Maintaining that peace means the

terror at night. You don't have to be concerned

about it. This is key.

You can be there, but if your mind is.

But what about all of those out there?

Then you are effectively drawing yourself out there outside of

the protection of this very refuge that God has given you.

And eventually either you will look back or go back or turn

back. Why?

Because your vision, a piece follows your vision.

And if your vision is back, that's where you going to go.

Ask anybody that drives, what did he tell you?

Don't look at the car, look at the road.

Look at where you're going. Where you're going.

Where you look is where you're going to drive.

That's why new drivers like this, they're like, OK, I'm just

learning how to drive. They're talking and they're

trying to be like like mature drivers, right?

They're trying to talk, you know, they they barely got like

a what? What's before What's what's L

What's before the letter L? No, what?

The letter L, the alphabet. MHIKK right.

They ain't got AK, they ain't got the L yet.

They own K, OK, but they trying to, but they're trying to like

drive and talk at the same time. And they start talking to their

friend and they go like, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, y'all.

And the car starts turning wide because their vision turns.

Eventually what you're looking at, you'll be drawn to.

That's the way he says. Don't be afraid to tear by

night, nor the air of the flies by day, nor the pestilence that

walks in the darkness, nor the destruction that lays wasted

noonday. You're in the refuge.

We think about the Passover and we talk about the blood, those

people in those houses when people were dying.

And the screams and the agony and the anguish.

But I have peace. I'm not ignoring that.

But His peace is keeping me. I need his peace.

So when the Lord of Hosts does Lord of Hosts things, I can let

him do the Lord of Hosts things. I can let him bring separation

between me and the family member that's trying to bring me down.

Between me and the dream I had for my life before I ever got to

know him. And it's something different

now. 1000 may fall at your side and 10,000 at your right hand.

But it shall not come near you. And only with your eyes shall

you look and see the reward of the wicked.

I'll say it's only with your eyes shall you glance.

Oh man, a shame 1000 may fall at your side.

You know what kind of piece it takes to have 1000 people dying

at your side and they have 10,000 folks falling at your

right hand. You know the peace it takes.

Now that's what I'm talking about.

They either this is true or it's not.

Now we can talk about hyperbole and allegory.

At that time they didn't have nothing.

They can drop 10,000 folk at one time except the Lord of Hosts.

Lord of hosts could drop a drop a nation at once.

Now that's only half a bomb dropped 10,000 people at one

time. What?

Peace do you have? Are you anchored?

You are my refuge. You are my fortress.

You are my God, and I'll trust in you because you have made the

Lord who is my refuge. Even the Most High, your

dwelling place, No evil shall befall.

You know any plague shall come near your tent or your dwelling.

That means your physical dwelling as well as where you

dwell. Why?

Because you can't dwell in two places at one time.

What did verse one talk about? He who?

What dwells in the secret place? That means you go in there and

don't come. That's where you live.

That's where you buy, you dwell, you live there.

No plague. Come near your dweller, if he

shall give his angels, here's the God of the Angel army

showing up. He shall give his angels charge

over you to keep you in all your ways in their hands.

So they in their hands, they should bury you up so you don't

dash your foot. You should tread upon the lion

and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent.

You should trample under foot. That has representations of

Satan in the Bible. 1 He goes about as a roaring lion and we

already know the serpent reference.

You're going to tread, you're going to walk on those things if

you have this peace, see, this is the peace that's needed for

when the Lord of hosts come to the Lord of hosts things.

Lord of Hosts is not Santa Claus.

Lord of Hosts is coming to fight real battles, coming to wage

real war in the spirit realm and as need be in the natural realm.

The Lord of Hosts is showing up because he has said it's ready,

because he has said it's love upon me.

What you see where your vision is, my vision is on the love of

God because he's, he's looking to me because he's putting his

love upon me. Therefore I might deliver him.

No, Therefore I will deliver him.

I will set him on high. Don't move.

Stay in peace. Because he has known my name.

He shall call upon me and I will answer him.

I will be with him in trouble. It doesn't say I will make

trouble disappear, but I will be with him in trouble.

This peace is for you. So as trouble is stirred because

the Lord of Hosts is showing up, you don't have to be concerned

about being free from trouble. You want trouble to be in your

atmosphere. Why?

Because when he's on the side of the Lord of Hosts, he's coming

to trouble that was trying to trouble you.

Because he says love upon me. Therefore I will deliver him.

I will set him on high because he has known my name.

He should call upon me and I will answer, and I will be with

him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor

Him, and with long life I will satisfy him.

Long life is not this. To your 100 now, if that's all

you got, bless God, keep going and every step you take, expect

more of God's strength to come into you.

But the long life he's talking about is the life like Moses.

He's 120 years old. The Bible says his eyes did not

grow dim and his strength did not fail.

When it was time for him to depart, he climbed one of the

highest mountains in all of Jerusalem and God gave him a

view of the promised land from there.

That is long life. And show him my salvation.

Wholeness in every area and every way.

So the AMPC says it this way, verse 14, because He has set His

love upon me, therefore I will deliver Him.

I will set Him on high, because He knows and understands My

name. That's why it's important to

know who the Lord of hosts is. It's one of the names.

He has a personal knowledge of My mercy and of my love and

kindness. He trusts and relies on me

knowing I will never. Forsake him?

No. And if you didn't hear it?

Never. I will never forsake him.

This is the place of peace. God is saying need for when the

Lord of hosts is showing up. Why?

Because when he's showing up, it's because the context needs

him to show up and there's anxiety all around.

But when you are this place in this atmosphere that you're

ready for the Lord of hosts to show up and do Lord of hosts

things, and then after he finishes you ready to end peace,

move forward. Whatever God's called you to do

without remorse and without regret, without looking back,

That's what God's preparing us for.

So peace is the key to the Lord of Hosts showing up so you can

be able to withstand what He's come to do.

Now that's good news because Psalm 91 isn't a warfare Psalm,

it's a peace Psalm. Just stand here.

I'm going to tell you everything you're going to miss out on.

Why? Because you're going to be in

such peace. You're not going to really know

it anyway. Something's going to tell you

right now. So that way you don't have to

pay attention to it, OK? Just stay in peace.

And so so at this point, I want us to respond to the word of

God, and I want us to respond with prayer.

OK, now you can, you can stand. You can say this up to you.

I want us to pray. And I also want to pray this

Psalm you can repeat after me to help you.

And this is how you pray the word of God, OK?

This is how you do it. Right say God, I thank you that

He dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under

the shadow of the Almighty. I thank you, God, that I dwell

in the secret place of the Most High God, and I shall abide

under the shadow of the Almighty.

I say of you, Lord, you are my refuge, You are my fortress.

You are my God, and in you what I trust that one sentence is

really all the prayer you need. You are my refuge, You are my

fortress, you are my God, and I will trust in you.

Now let's keep going, and surely you shall deliver me from the

snare of the Fowler and the perilous pestilence.

You shall cover me with your feathers, and under your wings

shall I take refuge. You are my truth, you are my

shield, and you are my buckler, and your truth shall be my

shield and buckler. I shall not be afraid of the

terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of

the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction

that lays waste at noonday. Though 1000 fall at my size and

10,000 at my right hand, it shall not come near me, and only

with my eyes shall I look and see the reward of the wicked.

I have made you, Lord, my refuge, the Most High, my

dwelling place. Therefore no evil shall befall

me, nor shall any plague come near my dwelling.

Now you can include you and your household.

I thank you, Lord, that you've given your angels charge over

me. Say it like charge.

Charge over me to keep me in all my ways, and their hands shall

lift me up so I don't dash my foot against any stone, and I

shall tread upon the lion and the cobra.

I don't know what that means, but whatever that represents,

I'm treading on it because you said I would.

The young lion and the serpent I shall trample on the foot.

Because I've set my love upon you, Lord, and I do love you

with all my heart. I do love you.

Forgive me where I've lived in ways that denied that love, but

I do love you, and I set my love upon you.

Therefore, I have every confidence that you will deliver

me. You will set me on high because

I know and I understand your name.

You've given me a personal knowledge of your mercy and of

your love and of Your kindness, so it's easy to trust and rely

on you. I know that you will never

forsake me. You will never forsake me.

You will never forsake me. No, no, no, no, no.

Never. In the darkest hour you won't

forsake me. When all is lost, you won't

forsake me. It's time to trial.

You won't forsake me. It's time to great blessing.

You will never forsake me. No, never because, because you

are my refuge and you are my fortress and you are my God.

I trusted you. I love you.

Lord of hosts things no matter what it gets experienced.

I know I have peace even to let you be and do the kind of

warfare things that need to be done in the spirit and even in

the natural. Thank you Lord, in Jesus name,

prayer anytime. You can pray that prayer any

place. God, you're my refuge.

God, you're my fortress. You're my hiding place.

I would trust in you, and as you pray that prayer, the Lord of

hosts, the God of Angel armies, is activating his armies to do

everything that prayer says because you are now abiding in

His peace. You're activating that.

You're reminding yourself of that in Jesus name, Amen.
