  1. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International

  2. Church Podcast, where we seek to love all nations, equip the

  3. church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.

  4. We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever

  5. you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get

  6. your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe

  7. some tea, and get ready to receive.

  8. Let's get into it. Now, how many people understand

  9. that you actually play a part with what flows through this

  10. house? You play.

  11. You play a part, Bible says if you're hungry and thirsty, you

  12. shall be filled. So those that are in here, your

  13. hunger and your thirst, your pull on the Word will cause God

  14. to flow through this vessel to speak words that will activate

  15. what he's trying to flow through your life.

  16. There's things that he wants to speak to you today.

  17. But what I do realize is God is not speaking to everybody per

  18. SE. He is speaking.

  19. He is here to feel the hungry and thirsty.

  20. So if you just come to see community get just look next to

  21. you, your mission is accomplished.

  22. But if you've come here to be changed and you hungry for that

  23. and you want to be edified and you want to hear something that

  24. God says, guess what? Lean in and just know that you

  25. are good ground. And by the blood of Jesus, He

  26. has made a way. The veil has been torn so we can

  27. come to the throne of grace boldly today.

  28. Somebody say boldly today. Understand when you play with

  29. the words you play with your life.

  30. John 6 y'all forgot John 612. I believe it's 612.

  31. I don't know. I just looked at it because I

  32. was prompted to and then actually, you know what let me

  33. let me let me let me find this real quick.

  34. I promise you I got a prepared word, but I'm not in charge, so

  35. I'm also going to. I want you really, really

  36. quickly, really, really quickly. We're going to end up at John

  37. 612. Go to Romans 11/5 and go to the

  38. order matters. Go to Romans 11/5 and then go.

  39. To John 612. And then go to Isaiah 19.

  40. You got that, You got that. All right, go ahead.

  41. Yes, Lord, So too, at the present time there is a what?

  42. A. Small believing minority right

  43. you, you sound like you hungry because you you attentive right?

  44. Small believing minority selected.

  45. That's me, chosen by grace, by God's emeritus favor and

  46. graciousness. There is at this time in the

  47. earth. Go back a small there is a

  48. remnant, a small believing minority.

  49. Very specific. The remnant is not a small group

  50. of people. A remnant is not survivors.

  51. A remnant is a small believing minority.

  52. So if you are in this place, at this time, in this city, you are

  53. hungry, you're thirsty, you are after what God is after.

  54. And you cannot wait to be used by God.

  55. You cannot wait to be released by God.

  56. You cannot wait to see what God is doing.

  57. And you believe in God, then he's talking to you.

  58. Say I'm the remnant. If that's you.

  59. If that's you. If that's you, there is a

  60. remnant. There is a remnant.

  61. There is a remnant. There is a remnant.

  62. OK, just so you can receive a little bit better for some.

  63. This is not an offering compel. OK, so this is not about next

  64. door. This is about you.

  65. OK, awesome. Let's do it.

  66. John 612 when they had all Hallelujah had enough.

  67. This is when the miracle of feeding the 5000 plus it was a

  68. little over 10,000, it was 5000 men and then there was women and

  69. children. So too many to count but we can

  70. count around 5000 men. So lots of people and two fish 5

  71. loaves. When they had all had enough,

  72. they all had enough. What does that mean in this

  73. situation? They all were full.

  74. It wasn't time to go back into the to the city because it was

  75. getting dark. Everything was going to be

  76. closed. And then God, I don't know how

  77. many people shut down their businesses because they heard

  78. Jesus was up the road, so a miracle was necessary because

  79. they have been out all day, son, beaten on a baseball cap and.

  80. The miracle fed everybody and then there was these baskets and

  81. not only did it start with two fish 5 loaves, not only did it

  82. start with not enough, it ended with enough leftovers to fill

  83. baskets. Somebody say leftovers.

  84. I love leftovers. Somebody say remnants, right, If

  85. you get from a good southern house or depending on what kind

  86. of culture you from, all grandma and them needed was some

  87. remnants. A little bit of his, a little

  88. bit of that, and she would make something something real good.

  89. All she needed was some remnants.

  90. She'd be like, baby, tell me what's in the cabinet.

  91. OK, OK, bring that. Put that on the counter.

  92. What's in the fridge? What we got left put.

  93. OK, grab that. Go out in the garden, grab some

  94. inn if you had that or something like that or some whatever basil

  95. or whatever. All you needed was a remnant.

  96. He says gather up now the fragments.

  97. The broken pieces that are leftover.

  98. Remember the scripture we just read?

  99. There's a small believing minority that's still in the

  100. earth, that still haven't fallen away from the faith, that still

  101. got integrity, that still love God, that still fast and pray,

  102. that still love they wife, that still love.

  103. There's a small remnant left in the earth.

  104. So now we see this and he says, hey, gather now the fragments.

  105. Guess what God is doing in these last days?

  106. He's gathering the, the, the remnants, the broken pieces that

  107. are leftover, those that don't know you broken you, you've,

  108. you've yelled in some areas, but you broke it.

  109. You have some areas that are broken, but guess what Jesus is

  110. doing? Watch this, watch this, watch

  111. this. Just because you broken does not

  112. disqualify you from being a remnant.

  113. Watch this. This is the broken that still

  114. remains. Hallelujah.

  115. This is the broken and still hopeful, the broken and still

  116. faithful. The broken.

  117. The broken but still rooted, still believe in God.

  118. That's leftover so, so that nothing may be lost, he says.

  119. Gather the remnant so that nothing may be lost.

  120. I just want, I just feel like God wants to encourage some of

  121. you, all that you've been through.

  122. All the broken pieces that you have, the Lord says gather those

  123. so that no part of your story is lost.

  124. I got some overcomers in here today.

  125. Gather the priestess, gather the remnants, because what's being

  126. gathered is going to be a loaf for somebody else.

  127. Your testimony is going to bless somebody.

  128. Your survival is going to test. It's going to bless somebody.

  129. Come on, you still standing and wasn't taken out.

  130. The devil meant it for evil, but God meant it for good.

  131. Look here, neighbors say, gather the remnants.

  132. No, no, you might have counted it as Dong, but God says no, no,

  133. no, Put it in the basket. Put it in the basket.

  134. Put it in the basket. I still have need of you.

  135. There is glory on the remnants. There is a glory on the It's

  136. quite frankly, the strongest anointing is on the remnant.

  137. Those that didn't give up on God.

  138. Even though you wavered, guess what?

  139. You still remained last. Scripture.

  140. Encourage yourself man. Watch this.

  141. Except the Lord of Hosts had left us a very small remnant of

  142. survivors. Survivors.

  143. We should have been like Sodom and we should have been like

  144. Gomorrah. Watch this.

  145. It would have been over. If it wasn't for a few

  146. survivors, let me tell you something I don't.

  147. I don't know. I've I've gotten too many

  148. stories all the way up until last week.

  149. Voicemails. I cannot wait to get the full

  150. stories of the family. That had the auto Body Shop next

  151. door, their prayers for this building and we're in here.

  152. But let me tell you something. I just believe that this block,

  153. this city and our church is not the only people with with the

  154. remnant that's being gathered, but Vancouver.

  155. Without the remnant that God has put in Vancouver, Vancouver is

  156. almost left to be like Sodom and Gomorrah.

  157. But there is a remnant of people.

  158. There is a remnant of people. Watch this.

  159. Your family is one person away from being Sodom and Gomorrah,

  160. but God left a remnant in your family, your coworkers.

  161. The public school system is 1, just one, one person away from

  162. being like Sodom and Gomorrah. But God has a remnant of people

  163. to preserve a land. Come on, lift your hands and

  164. say, I still believe. Last week we established

  165. something foundational. We learned that stillness is not

  166. calm and rest is not inactivity. Stillness is the moment that you

  167. and I step out of unauthorized authority and motion.

  168. Stillness in scripture begins when self governance ends.

  169. We saw it in the storm. Jesus did not negotiate with the

  170. sea. He commanded it to peace.

  171. Be still. Peace followed authority.

  172. Guys. Stillness came before the

  173. atmosphere. Changed.

  174. We saw it in the Prodigal Son. The famine was not punishment,

  175. it was mercy. When authority was resisted, God

  176. removed the very things that made running possible.

  177. God removed the very things that made hiding possible.

  178. Not to punish him, but to make stillness unavoidable.

  179. I remember I've gotten a job before and it got me so busy.

  180. I got out of the fullness of my purpose.

  181. See some of you are are busy and you still love God and you still

  182. serve God and you said, but you're not in the fullness of

  183. your purpose. And I remember, watch this.

  184. I was Jonah to my own dreams. I got in the boat of my own

  185. dreams and because I was going another way, my dreams start

  186. sinking. I was living in the land of just

  187. enough and I was working for just enough instead of resting,

  188. doing what I need to do and let God do what I'm not authorized

  189. to do Hallelujah. Rest is the evidence that you

  190. trust God to govern what you choose not to control.

  191. That was forced stillness. It was forced to be still.

  192. Otherwise, death by distraction. God stopping motion.

  193. We refuse to stop. I don't think I'm the only one

  194. in here today where you just was sitting there.

  195. What happened? How did how did this stop?

  196. How did I get in this relationship that I that that

  197. like brought some value to my life and I thought we had a

  198. bright future together, but then all of a sudden it seemingly was

  199. snatched away. Might I have been depending on

  200. it in a way that God didn't mean me to to to to depend on it?

  201. Watch this. Did someone that I'm called to

  202. disciple become a resource for me?

  203. So now discipleship is compromised because now I need

  204. you. So now you've become a business

  205. partner and I can't disciple you because you, you got leverage on

  206. me, right? But that was me trying to force

  207. purpose, trying to make it happen.

  208. And it happens all the time, right?

  209. God. God will dry something up

  210. because the context has gotten twisted either by you or others

  211. are too immature to see and keep boundaries so things can move as

  212. designed. Today we move into another

  213. dimension. It's not crises, it's not

  214. famine, it's not storms. It's everyday discipleship.

  215. It's everyday devotion. It's just everyday distractions.

  216. This is not about today. We're going to expose you

  217. sinning. This is not about you doing

  218. something immoral. This is about you doing some

  219. good stuff. It's distraction.

  220. Watch this. I need everybody to lean in on

  221. this. I need everybody to lean in on

  222. this because many of us do not resist God with rebellion.

  223. We resist him with busyness. It's not going to pop up on the

  224. screen because it's not I, I kept some stuff from you so you

  225. can just listen. Watch this.

  226. You're not rebelling, you're just busy, and your busyness is

  227. resisting what God has to say. And you want God to speak loud

  228. enough that you can hear over your busyness and you like, well

  229. God must be permitting because he ain't said nothing.

  230. No, he's talking but you. He's what?

  231. He's going to talk at a volume that causes you to lean into

  232. him. God is not going to turn up the

  233. volume volume because you have turned up your busy.

  234. So here's the warning, you might do it for one year, two years,

  235. or three years, but there will come a time where you will you

  236. will be forced to be still. Last week, Love Quest, God

  237. enforced stillness, spoke to us about stillness, and then

  238. throughout the week He dealt with us about awareness.

  239. This week He invites you and I to release your grip and let the

  240. Holy Ghost ride the whip. Look at your neighbors, say

  241. release your grip. Let the Holy Ghost ride the

  242. whip. Yeah, there are moments you can

  243. start it. There are moments where God does

  244. not stop the storm. Please, we've been begging God

  245. to stop storms and then we get mad at him because he don't let

  246. me help you real quick. This is not where I'm going, but

  247. just a little drop of nug. He didn't start the storm, you

  248. did. So sometimes you want the storm

  249. to stop. Guess what you should do?

  250. Be still. Stop storming, stop storming,

  251. stop storming. There are moments when God does

  252. not stop the storm. He does not send the famine,

  253. right? Because some of you are like

  254. God, if you just show me, I'll stop.

  255. If you just if, if it just turned bad, you don't even say

  256. this. But you know, if something

  257. happened, you'll stop. So you saying God punish me and

  258. I'll stop. Why would you want to build a

  259. relationship off of punishment that God's not going.

  260. You cannot manipulate God that way.

  261. Well, if I get sick by doing this, then it must mean it's

  262. really time to stop. No, when you sick, you, you sick

  263. it ain't. It's been time to stop.

  264. Now you sick because you didn't stop being sick.

  265. Ain't a sign to stop being sick is.

  266. It's too late to stop now you're sick.

  267. Some signs, they're not warnings.

  268. It's fruit. And some fruit remains.

  269. Send the famine. He's not going to do that and

  270. he's not going to command the wind to stop.

  271. He just letting yo some of y'all both been rocking on the waves

  272. for years and all you've done is adjust your seat.

  273. You didn't been on the front of the boat, you didn't been on the

  274. bow, you didn't been on the stern.

  275. You didn't be you didn't bend all over the boat trying to find

  276. balance when God is inviting you into his rhythm and it's not

  277. going to work there there there. There are moments when God is

  278. not confronting rebellion made my eyes are open.

  279. I'm like, God really just let me do that.

  280. God did not ask me to come out the club he didn't like Why God

  281. asking you to do something you actually know not to do?

  282. He not he's not entertaining that conversation right.

  283. It comes a time with a child. If they keep on doing what you

  284. asking them to do, you go like, OK, you just have to learn.

  285. That's how I got a burn on my chest.

  286. Hot grease poured on my chest when I was one years old freaked

  287. my Mama out and she was on the phone doing what Nana do and and

  288. you know she fried food and then you know when you fry food, you

  289. pour the grease in the cup, let it cool off and it.

  290. She poured it in my favorite fruit cup, my favorite fruit

  291. basket. So she on the phone, busy doing

  292. her thing. I go in the kitchen and I pull

  293. it down and it was still hot. Oh man, rush me to the hospital,

  294. third degree burn. And but guess what?

  295. I ain't never like. I like fried chicken, but I

  296. ain't never touched that grease again.

  297. How many times she must have told me state Terrence,

  298. Terrence. And then one day, OK, it wasn't

  299. like she was like, OK, go ahead, touch the grease.

  300. But you going to learn one way or another and then you get

  301. marked. I remember when I was so

  302. insecure about the burn on my chest.

  303. Now is it look good? Like it just it's a part of me.

  304. It's like it's a part of me. Like Seal.

  305. It's like, you know what I'm saying, but not quite.

  306. Look a little better. It's just a little spot.

  307. It's not, it's not, it's not going up.

  308. Can you play some music right now, please?

  309. Play some music right now. It's it's not no music, not

  310. chimes. But that's the wrong spot to do

  311. that. Amen.

  312. But but I remember I remember I was so insecure about it.

  313. I'm like, wait a minute, I'm it's like I got busted my head

  314. right here. I got a scar here.

  315. I got AI had chicken pox one time.

  316. I was just picking everything and it just left me with it left

  317. me with one mark. My mom was like, stop picking at

  318. your chicken pox. OK, you gonna have a mark.

  319. I got a mark. But then I learned like I'm I'm

  320. I'm good, like whatever, It's a part of me.

  321. But I remember when before I get in the swimming pool, I used to

  322. wear my shirt all the way to the edge and I'll just be like, I'm

  323. like, you know, I'm about to get underwater.

  324. I'll just stay underwater just like this.

  325. But now it's just like, whatever, I'm like, I'm just

  326. flowing in the wind. I'm just good.

  327. I'm good. But but, but that's how many of

  328. us live, though. Some of us are so prideful.

  329. We're willing to just cover the scar.

  330. Don't mind. We got the scar because we got

  331. the experience. But you don't understand the

  332. venom that that experience has brought into your life.

  333. And while you're covering it up, you still are dealing with the

  334. trauma from not listening. You're still dealing with the

  335. loss. You're still dealing with the

  336. bankruptcy, you're still dealing with the third marriage because

  337. you just didn't want can. You just couldn't let go of

  338. control. And then kids suffer and then

  339. people suffer and, and then you get to old age and then you just

  340. regret because you cannot get your youth back.

  341. You cannot get this time back. So he's not correcting

  342. disobedience, guys. He is addressing control.

  343. And that brings us to this mountain.

  344. In First Kings 19, a hurricane wind ripped through the the

  345. mountains, shattered the rocks before God.

  346. But God wasn't to be found in the wind after the wind and

  347. earthquake. But God wasn't in the earthquake

  348. and after the earthquake. A fire.

  349. But God wasn't in the fire. And after the fire, a gentle

  350. quiet whisper. When Elijah heard the quiet

  351. voice, he muffled his face with his great cloak in reverence,

  352. went to the mouth of The Cave and stood there.

  353. A quiet voice asked. Watch this.

  354. So, Elijah. Now tell me, what are you doing

  355. here? Like Adam?

  356. Adam, where are you? God knew what Elijah was doing

  357. there, and God knew what Adam where he was hiding.

  358. But God needs you to trace your steps.

  359. He's asking you a question because transformation without

  360. ownership will not remain so He tells you or ask you, how did

  361. you get here? There's not one place I've been

  362. in my life that I look back that he's brought me out of and I've

  363. overcome and I've conquered that I do not.

  364. I have not traced the steps. I know exactly how I ended up in

  365. that house. I know exactly how I ended up

  366. with that girl. I know exactly how I ended up in

  367. jail. I know exactly why I was

  368. smoking. Wanted to stop, didn't stop

  369. smoking. I knew exactly why I wasn't

  370. honoring my wife. I knew exactly why I was.

  371. Talking to her any old kind of way, I knew exactly why I was

  372. running from being a present father.

  373. Exactly why I would quit jobs and get another job.

  374. I knew. Exactly.

  375. I have come to a place of maturity where God has asked me

  376. the question and I've had to do the hard work, not point the

  377. finger. Oh, my dad wasn't there.

  378. Oh, I grew up in Oakland. Oh, I grew up in poverty.

  379. Oh, she shouldn't have talked to me that way.

  380. Her, him, her, her, her, her, him him him.

  381. And I finally realized that all them footsteps was mines.

  382. My response is my responsibility.

  383. So how long you going to blame your childhood?

  384. How long you going to blame mental illness?

  385. How long you going to blame how you was raised?

  386. Was it raised? How you going?

  387. How long you going to blame trauma?

  388. How long you going to blame Canada?

  389. How long you going to blame a diagnosis the doctor gave you?

  390. How long are you going to blame the church?

  391. How long are you going to blame the distance?

  392. How long are you going to blame? How long are you going to blame

  393. the wavering? How long are you going to blame

  394. the anger? How long are you going to blame

  395. getting whooped when you was little or beat when you was?

  396. How long are you going to blame your husband?

  397. How long are you going to blame your wife?

  398. How how long are you going to blame not realizing you are not

  399. enjoying something you chose to be in?

  400. You watch this. No one gets to determine the

  401. outcome from the beginning. This is why you got to count the

  402. cost, This is why his death do his part.

  403. This is why covenant is important, and This is why

  404. obeying God because you do you know, who knows what's going to

  405. happen 20 years from now in this relationship?

  406. God does. He's all knowing.

  407. So watch this. So to not confide in God for a

  408. distance of time is absolute foolishness.

  409. To get in any relationship, especially in the name of love,

  410. and not get counsel from the Holy Ghost and let Him lead you.

  411. Now you got to trace your footsteps and say what got me in

  412. this relationship? What got me starting this

  413. business? What got me, Was it fear?

  414. Did I think I wasn't enough? Did I get into a season where I

  415. was exhausted of singleness or I was exhausted from doing

  416. business by myself? I was exhausted from trauma and

  417. I made some decisions thinking partnership.

  418. Would solve brokenness. God knew exactly how Elijah got

  419. there, but he needed Elijah to be awakened to why he got there.

  420. Elijah said, watch this. I've been working my heart out

  421. for God, my heart out for family, my heart.

  422. I've been working, I've been working, working, working,

  423. working, working. And the God of Angel armies,

  424. because the people of Israel, here you go pointing, but the

  425. people of Israel didn't get them in The Cave.

  426. Leading the people of Israel got them exhausted.

  427. It is what he did or didn't do in his exhaustion that got him

  428. in The Cave, destroyed your places of worship and murdered

  429. your prophets. I'm the only one left, and now

  430. they're trying to kill me. Brother, you not the only one

  431. left, You not the only one that could do the job.

  432. You're not the only one that can run your business.

  433. You're not the only one. If I don't go do this, ain't

  434. nobody going to do it. You're not the only one in

  435. nothing. God got plenty of people right

  436. and that's a syndrome. When you think you don't only

  437. one, that's that's the problem. Watch this.

  438. Here it is. We need to hear this, especially

  439. our men, but all of us. No man is greater than his

  440. prayer life. You don't got a prayer life.

  441. You're going to end up in the pig pen sometime soon.

  442. No man is greater than his prayer life.

  443. Watch this God is saying this to this man, Elijah, this prophet,

  444. this mighty man of God, you. Did not arrive here by

  445. obedience. You didn't get to this cave.

  446. I didn't be. I didn't lead you to this cave.

  447. You arrived by overload. Your life got so consumed you.

  448. You didn't plan to be this. But nobody planned to be this

  449. busy. But you got to be able to see if

  450. I do this, then that's going to lead to that, the potential of

  451. it. And then be honest with your

  452. motives. I'm doing this because I want

  453. this to be big. I'm doing this because I want it

  454. to be successful. But a lot of times we make

  455. commitments at the lowest form of what we hope and now we're

  456. working against ourselves because I actually can't handle

  457. if it grow, but I want it to grow.

  458. So the best thing to do is allow God to grow you and it at his

  459. pace. Elijah fought for God publicly

  460. without resting in God privately.

  461. He fought for God. He did ministry.

  462. He loved his wife. He he but, but privately, he

  463. didn't rest in God. To the public he was successful.

  464. Oh, wow, look at what God's doing through your hands.

  465. No, look at what God's doing for God for his name's sake.

  466. And the worst thing is that you can be successful to the public

  467. and look like you got it all together, but in the private God

  468. is not pleased. God slowed him down to save his

  469. life. I thank God, I thank God for

  470. slowing me down. I thank God for pressing pause

  471. in areas of my life. I thank God for certain losses.

  472. Because if it if I was successful at that one thing or

  473. if I stayed in that one thing, it would have took me somewhere.

  474. Watch this shut doors guide you as much if not more than open

  475. doors open. Doors can be deceitful to the to

  476. the immature right Them closed doors is what shape you right

  477. you, you, you you play who my son, he's shooting, he's

  478. shooting 500. He's shooting shots and shots

  479. and shots. And when we working out, I'm

  480. like, bro, that miss is a Rep. You mad it didn't go in.

  481. You should be excited. You got the Rep up because it's

  482. the reps that align you for game time because the game winner you

  483. see Kobe make, how many did he miss in that same spot?

  484. So is it worth missing 1000 in private?

  485. Is it worth being with God alone in private and he expose you

  486. versus parading through life and getting the fame and approval of

  487. others. And then God say, OK, I'm gonna

  488. let them be your Lord. And he like where you go, Oh,

  489. that's drought season. God had to.

  490. Allow removal of the thing that allowed you to keep running.

  491. Yeah. God, thank you.

  492. Thank you for snatching that old booger bear out of my life.

  493. Well, I was like, I was trying to hold on the booger bear and

  494. I'm like, all of a sudden she was gone.

  495. And I chased her for a little while, and then I was like,

  496. booger bear is bad for me. I was smoking.

  497. Weed with booger bear. I was doing it.

  498. She wasn't reinforcing Jesus to me.

  499. Like no, but I was hurt, I was hurt and I was like, praise God,

  500. folks will walk out your life and you like no, because you got

  501. rejection issues, but you see the hand of God like no, you was

  502. actually in that you was allowing me to ignore what God

  503. was trying to do in my life. Thank God for the pause.

  504. Thank God for the droughts. Thank God that when I needed the

  505. money, it didn't come right away because it caused me to learn

  506. some things about myself. It caused me to lean on God in a

  507. different way. If it would have came too soon,

  508. I wouldn't have learned how to depend on God without the money.

  509. Now I know how to depend on God. Like Paul said, whether it's

  510. good, I'm good. If it's bad, I'm I could like

  511. it. Don't matter.

  512. I am not moved by provision. I'm not moved by God vision.

  513. I'm not. I'm not moved by none of it.

  514. And that's where God's trying to get some of you.

  515. You are too moved by if things working, if it ain't working

  516. even in my marriage, OK. If if I'm in a good mood, my

  517. wife ain't in a good mood. Hey, babe, how you doing this?

  518. Yeah. I don't want to talk to you.

  519. OK, I'm not going to talk to you.

  520. But I'm not about to give you my joy today and vice versa.

  521. We both, we watch this. We have also given each other

  522. permission. So if my wife is like, oh, you

  523. crappy today, I'm gonna leave you alone.

  524. I have to also give her permission to leave me alone.

  525. Immaturity is like, no, you can if you leave me alone.

  526. You contributed to my funkiness, so it's this manipulative game

  527. because I want you here, but I don't know how to get rid of my

  528. funky. So I give her watch this.

  529. I give her permission to create boundaries that protect her

  530. piece. So I'm not going to ask her to

  531. come to my side of funky because I want funky and I want her.

  532. I'm talking at least two people. Two people, two people.

  533. There's two. Exhaustion.

  534. Exhaustion will also always exhaustion will always distort

  535. perception. I've made some terrible

  536. decisions simply not because I was insane, not because watch

  537. this, not because it was a bad idea.

  538. I was exhausted. Have you ever went on an

  539. exhausted date? No, no, just everybody picked

  540. right the first time. You just like you.

  541. You never went out with somebody because you was tired of looking

  542. and it was just like, well, this person want to hang out, so

  543. let's go hang out. They kind of cute, so whatever

  544. it don't it wouldn't hurt to have some ramen with them.

  545. Yeah, yeah. That was an exhausted date.

  546. That was an exhausted date. You ever make an exhausted

  547. business decision and then you came to your mind, you like, why

  548. did I just do that? You ever have kids and they

  549. wearing you out and they want something in the store and you

  550. like, just go ahead, get it. Go ahead, get it.

  551. Go and play the video game. Go on.

  552. Go ahead. Yeah.

  553. Exhaustion always distort perception.

  554. He was exhausted. The Bible says if you look up in

  555. the right corner, he fell asleep under the loan broom Bush.

  556. He was exhausted. He was running.

  557. He had just watched this. He ran after victory, he fainted

  558. after breakthrough. Watch this some of y'all think

  559. you won't breakthrough but you not ready for the warfare that

  560. comes with the breakthrough. Now he gets a letter from

  561. Jezebel saying I'm about to kill you.

  562. He runs along the way God feeds him and strengthens him.

  563. Watch this. Don't get it twisted because

  564. God's still providing and you're going the wrong way.

  565. He's a good, good father, so he's going to provide so many

  566. times we've like God broke me through.

  567. No God provided He's. Going to get kicked out your

  568. house. He was going to be starving.

  569. God is committed, but them steps he didn't order.

  570. He ordered you some food, but not them steps.

  571. Jesus Christ, you better get it. We have made God a God that only

  572. provides if we do what he say. I'm a good parent and I don't

  573. even do that. The extra stuff, sure, he's a

  574. better. Father than me, he provides even

  575. when you're rebelling. Oh, think back in some of your

  576. nasty days and you like, wait a minute, I was still kind of

  577. blessed there. Yeah, he provided.

  578. God was not absent from the storm.

  579. He was just refusing to be known through the storm.

  580. God refusing to be reduced to spectacle.

  581. People that need to see signs and wonders in order to know

  582. that he is with them. God was correcting his

  583. expectation rather than withholding power.

  584. Power does not always announce itself with noise.

  585. Silence wasn't the lesson. Better yet, discernment was the

  586. lesson. Elijah had to learn how to

  587. discern God without drama. He's used to fire.

  588. He's used to earthquakes. He's used to God doing the MARAC

  589. like crazy stuff. And God said no, we're going to

  590. a new level. So I have a new lesson.

  591. You're not going to continue to know me moving in your life the

  592. same way I used to. God did not move Elijah out of

  593. the circumstance. He just adjusted his perception.

  594. Sometimes God will not change our circumstances.

  595. He changes who we're listening for.

  596. God does not correct him immediately.

  597. He recalibrates his perception. First we want to get out the

  598. storm. When the storm is the project,

  599. it's the Lesson plan. Oh, the storm is the Lesson

  600. plan. The storm is the Lesson plan.

  601. Watch this. He he turns everything for what?

  602. So even that joker you chose, he like great.

  603. I didn't plan this for you, but Lesson plan, Watch, watch this.

  604. His purpose is to mold you like to be like him.

  605. So you can let him choose the Lesson plan or you could choose

  606. the Lesson plan, but he works everything together for good.

  607. And I've given God some lesson plans that I'm like, Nah, why

  608. did I? I didn't even want to go to my

  609. own class. Yeah, not when I'm the

  610. assignment. Like, I don't want that class.

  611. I don't want that class. Now, I got to sit in this class

  612. for a semester, and no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

  613. And we said it a while ago. There's already planned testings

  614. for your life. Stop adding extra homework.

  615. All right, We're going to go through this really quickly.

  616. I want to get to a couple of young ladies you've heard about

  617. before. You can listen to this.

  618. I went over this this morning, but I wanted to do a little

  619. review, but I could park here all day and I don't want to do

  620. that. So I'm about to throw it in,

  621. drive and move forward. And if you really want to get

  622. this section of the word, you can start listening to it

  623. tomorrow. From the first experience last

  624. Sunday, you heard about Peace be still.

  625. Stillness is governance and unity of heart, not emotional

  626. calm. Stillness is not self-discipline

  627. per SE. So it's not me doing less.

  628. It is me being aware of who's in charge and letting him be a man

  629. and Hallelujah. I feel like I'm in a room where

  630. there's some folks may not think that they don't got no control

  631. issues and I'm I know I'm not in here in a room where God is in

  632. control of everybody's life. I know that for a fact this will

  633. be one of the greatest lessons you can learn this year because

  634. this reveal stillness reveals if you really trust God, you want

  635. the Holy Spirit to comfort and calm the storm and he was sent

  636. to you to confront and cause reform.

  637. Stillness begins when you release the rains of the Spirit,

  638. now by might, not by power, but by His Spirit God Zechariah 4 In

  639. your own time, study it. Stillness is spirit dependence.

  640. Spirit dependence, Those that are led by the Spirit are what?

  641. Sons of God. I know I'm a son, I'm a son, I'm

  642. a son. Can anybody said I'm a son

  643. because I'm LED? I'm a son not because I'm a

  644. Christian, but I'm led by the life of the Spirit.

  645. You cannot produce stillness while governing yourself.

  646. Stillness is where the Spirit fixes our focus.

  647. He fixes our focus stillness. Is where the Spirit fixes our

  648. focus. I've come to understand that it

  649. will be hard to be still without the Holy Spirit helping you be

  650. still. Because being still is not like

  651. we try to make kids be still. Being still is about governance.

  652. It's about who's in charge. It's about taking your hand off

  653. the whip, off the wheel and let the Lord drive.

  654. Luke 10. Yes.

  655. Luke 10. I'll wait till they pull it up.

  656. Luke 10 As they continued their travel, Jesus entered a village.

  657. A woman by the name of Martha welcomed him.

  658. And made him feel quite at home. Look at Martha, she made Jesus

  659. feel quite at home. Not just feel at home, but quite

  660. at home. She had a sister, Mary, who sat

  661. before the Master, hanging on every word.

  662. He said. So who's the 2 characters here?

  663. Martha. Mary.

  664. Mary Martha, who's the main character in this script Look,

  665. he's so cute. Jesus, you guys are so cute.

  666. Oh my God, Jesus, you so proud of yourself too.

  667. He's like Jesus, that is too funny.

  668. Watch this Mary was. Sitting at Jesus feet, Martha

  669. welcomed Jesus into the house and made him feel quite at home.

  670. I just got, I don't know why I get a certain picture of of her

  671. when Jesus walked through the door and how she made him quite

  672. at home. But she made Jesus feel so at

  673. home. It made the scriptures.

  674. He felt so welcome. He felt like watch this.

  675. Jesus found a place he could rest.

  676. Now watch the tension though Now Jesus found a place he can rest,

  677. so I'm assuming he's sitting down on the couch.

  678. And then Mary sat before the Master, hanging on every word he

  679. said. See, watch this.

  680. This is what I believe. Spirit filled people who really

  681. bought that business. Don't just share Jesus at

  682. church. Like he just chilling and he

  683. must be saying something so quality that she is sitting to

  684. hear everything that's coming out of his mouth because he's

  685. not wasting any words. But Martha was pulled away by

  686. all she had to do. Now watch this.

  687. Who's Martha? I just go on here and say it.

  688. Don't be scared. Come on, marry sister.

  689. OK, you watch it. I only want to look at some of

  690. y'all y'all. Like you tell me.

  691. You tell me. I just read it, Huh?

  692. That that's just a test. It means that means that it's

  693. not sticking. So we got to start over, not

  694. from the top of the sermon, but just at the top of this.

  695. Go, go, go back. It's very important.

  696. I said it this morning. Many of us need to read our

  697. word, not like our app, like study, sit with Jesus, take our

  698. time. Some folks trying to read a book

  699. of the Bible a day, man, if you don't sit down and read one

  700. verse, just one verse, guess what?

  701. Jesus is in Genesis and he's in James.

  702. Like read one verse and and and if you can take apart one verse

  703. and then and then zoom out and get contacts, man, I'm telling

  704. you. And then go research words and

  705. Hebrew and Greek and get definitions and Herman

  706. hermeneutics and and exegetic and expository.

  707. And then by the time you finished that man, you would

  708. have been. Sitting there for 4-5 six hours

  709. on like 3 verses. You over here trying to I read

  710. Genesis. No, you.

  711. And you listen to Genesis while you texting.

  712. Amen. All right.

  713. Whoever that's foe hungry and thirsty, hungry and thirsty,

  714. hungry and thirsty as they continued their travel Jesus

  715. into the village and a woman a woman by the name of Nice

  716. welcomed him and you guys going to like this part and made him

  717. feel she. I could tell people are good

  718. readers in here. You said quite at home she had a

  719. sister. What was her name who sat before

  720. the master hanging on every word he said some people was like we

  721. only supposed to read that was underlined PT yes every word he

  722. said next verse next verse. Watch this but Martha was pulled

  723. away by all she had to do. Who's who's the two young ladies

  724. here? Martha, Mary, Mary.

  725. Martha. Who's the main character here?

  726. You're so cute to me. I think we got some children's

  727. ministry workers in here. I'm telling you, I hear them.

  728. I hear them. I hear them.

  729. Some teachers in here. But Martha, Martha, Martha was

  730. pulled away. Now, who was Martha in the first

  731. couple scriptures? Who was Martha?

  732. I marry sister, The one that made them feel quite at home.

  733. She made him. Watch this.

  734. She's serving Jesus. She is serving Jesus.

  735. Watch this. Both people are serving Jesus.

  736. One is serving him by hosting him and making and making sure

  737. he has his needs. Water comfy seed he served

  738. attended to another one is hosting his presence and his

  739. anointing and she's hanging or watch this you didn't think

  740. receiving was serving. Let me tell you something that

  741. makes me more happy when I go to to to deliver something to my

  742. children and they give me back the the greatest attentive

  743. gratitude focus. They served me well.

  744. Receiving and sewing is acts of service, but Martha was pulled

  745. away by. All she had to do, all she had

  746. to do. Remember, Elijah had.

  747. He was the only one doing all. He had all the work for Jesus.

  748. And here go Martha way later, doing all the work for Jesus in

  749. the kitchen later. She stepped in.

  750. Who is she stepped in? Sure.

  751. In interrupting them, Who is she interrupting?

  752. Jesus and Mary and Mary and Jesus.

  753. Master, don't you care that my sister has abandoned the kitchen

  754. to me? We can go so many ways we can

  755. deal with leadership right now. We can deal with all kinds of

  756. stuff right now. Right now we just dealing with

  757. stillness right now. We can deal with all jealousy

  758. and we could deal with we could deal with wrong motives for

  759. serving. We could deal with all kinds of

  760. stuff. Both people serving Jesus right?

  761. You know the folks be like I don't want to serve because I'm

  762. a miss the word, but both people serving Jesus right tell tell.

  763. Her Jesus, she she's snitching. She like she just, I'm like tell

  764. her to lead me, lend me a hand. Tell her to lend me a hand.

  765. Tell her to lend me a hand. I love Jesus.

  766. He always gives right answers when he is in the middle of

  767. stuff. Tell her to lend me a hand next,

  768. the master said to Martha. Wait, did he?

  769. She said. Martha said tell Mary Jesus

  770. responds to who? So all the Martha's listen.

  771. I got a feeling we got more Martha's than we got Mary's.

  772. Amen. Amen, Martha.

  773. Dear Martha, you're fussing far too much and getting yourself

  774. worked up over nothing. Don't don't you hate it when

  775. people don't agree with you and they won't go do what they don't

  776. want to do The Dirty work, but they're there.

  777. Here's the kind of people you need in your life that will

  778. reframe your mindset. What you want is a Jesus that's

  779. going to go tell them. Yeah, Martha, you just sitting

  780. here staring at me while I'm talking and I feel weird right

  781. now. You need to go help your sister

  782. because. Because right in the Kingdom,

  783. the, the, the, the, the greatest is a servant.

  784. That's what he said. The one that's serving, he

  785. corrects her and says one thing only is essential.

  786. So what we talking about right now?

  787. Essential. Watch this.

  788. If the speakers was upside down, guess what that ain't essential.

  789. If the music is too loud, guess what that ain't.

  790. And the body of Christ is in division all over stuff that

  791. ain't essential, right? I get it.

  792. You. Oh, why you dressed like that?

  793. Is that essential? Is the word of God coming out my

  794. mouth? Oh, service is long.

  795. Is that essential? Are we preaching Jesus?

  796. Are we pursuing Jesus? What does the fruit say?

  797. One thing and only is essential. Why you over here getting upset

  798. because you chose to do what you doing now you resentful because

  799. somebody else know how to? Rest and Mary has chosen.

  800. Watch it. It is only one thing that's

  801. essential, and Mary has chosen it.

  802. It's the main course. What Mary is doing is the main

  803. course. It's the main thing.

  804. It's the main thing. In other words, if you don't get

  805. this part, it don't matter how, how, how well you hosted me.

  806. It don't matter how well your worship was.

  807. It don't matter how how long you was at the altar on your face.

  808. It don't matter how many goosebumps you got if you don't

  809. got the essentials, if you don't got the one thing, if you don't

  810. got the main course and won't be taken from her.

  811. It won't be taken from her. It can't be taken from her.

  812. It won't be and it can't be. Watch this, the master said

  813. Martha, dear Martha, you're fussing.

  814. And then he goes forward. Watch this.

  815. And he corrects her and watch this.

  816. You guys, Martha's activity is not rebuked.

  817. You notice what was. Rebuked her focus no I'm here

  818. today to let you know stillness ain't less activity so so you

  819. might hear so cuz you walk away last week and you like Dang God

  820. what would you have of me to lie down at the.

  821. Altar, Where's the Lord? I lay it all down.

  822. He's like, OK, first of all, you ain't really laying it down.

  823. Martha's activity is not rebuked.

  824. This should set somebody free. God, watch this because there's

  825. plenty of people in the Bible that was busier than all of us.

  826. You think you busy? Martha's activity isn't rebuked,

  827. it's the focus that's off center.

  828. So he rebukes her focus. The truth of the matter is,

  829. guys, there's people who God is graced with the capacity to do

  830. multiple things. Mary's, I love this.

  831. Mary's stillness isn't laziness, it's attentiveness.

  832. Come on, come on, come on. Walk with me, guys.

  833. Walk with me. Mary's stillness isn't laziness,

  834. it's stillness. I mean, it's attentiveness.

  835. Oh, I love this. Stillness is maintained by

  836. fixation. Those that fix their eyes on

  837. here. Stillness is maintained by

  838. fixation. The Bible tells us if we keep

  839. our eyes fixed on Him, He'll keep us still.

  840. Yeah, we've been listening. We see.

  841. See, I love the intercession of Jesus because he didn't let

  842. Martha's complaining jump on Mary's discipline to stay fixed

  843. on Jesus. When the wind blows, guess what

  844. happens? God's using the wind to get you

  845. fixed. The complainers is using the

  846. wind to get you off center. Stillness is maintained by

  847. fixation. Isaiah 26.

  848. You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace.

  849. Whose mind both his inclination and it's character is stayed.

  850. Somebody say stay stay. Didn't didn't Jodeci have a song

  851. called Stay? No, no, somebody don't even know

  852. what Jodeci is that. Y'all think that's a cough

  853. medicine or something? All right, I'm sorry.

  854. I got distracted. I got distracted.

  855. Inclination and its character is stayed on.

  856. You stayed on, you stayed on. You stayed on uninterrupted.

  857. For how long can you stay focused?

  858. On man, it's so many people, man.

  859. Sure you was locked in for a while, but can you?

  860. Can you backtrack your steps and see where offense came?

  861. A wavering or fatigue or tired? Where did it creep?

  862. How was you so strong in this season?

  863. And then all of a sudden now you doubting if you want to be where

  864. God called you, if you want to do what God called you to do.

  865. Now it's it's it's it's you second guessing it.

  866. Yeah, guess what probably happened.

  867. You stopped. You took your eyes off of him

  868. and you start listening to the noise.

  869. You start listening to the fire, you start listening to the

  870. earthquake, you start listening to the wind.

  871. And God said in this season, I'm going to let all the noise

  872. surround you. But where I'm at is I am going

  873. to be in the quiet. Watch this God was around the

  874. drama. He only spoke in the quiet.

  875. Watch this, God was around the drama.

  876. He was in it. But He spoke over here because

  877. it has been a season where he is retraining you how to or

  878. introducing a new form of communication with him.

  879. Watch this Intimacy with God is supposed to elevate.

  880. As my children get older, our conversations evolve.

  881. Talk. To me, somebody.

  882. You know, sometime Nana, if you watching Nana, I love you, but

  883. sometime Nana to today walk in the house to to to to to 20 year

  884. old Malia and 18 year old Malachi and 11 year old Micah

  885. and say, how about Nana's bananas doing come here, give

  886. Nana's bananas or kids give Nanas.

  887. No, no, no, no, no, she is 20. She's not Nana's bananas no

  888. more, right? At least say it with a little

  889. right? It's just like, man, how my

  890. Nana's banana's doing? Come here.

  891. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. No.

  892. Hey, how you doing, Malia? Good to see you.

  893. Nana's bananas. Come, give.

  894. Come. Give your grandma.

  895. Give bananas a bananas a kiss. I love you.

  896. Look at you, girl. You all growing up, right?

  897. Our conversations evolved. Now we talking about certain

  898. things that we couldn't we couldn't talk about.

  899. Watch this. We didn't talk about certain

  900. things just because they were young.

  901. We didn't talk about them because they didn't have the

  902. capacity to hold the conversation.

  903. I will talk to a young person about sex if they have the

  904. capacity to hold the conversation, right, right.

  905. Do you like our young people need and and this this thing

  906. like they can't sit in church. What how they sit in class

  907. without the Holy Spirit orchestrate in the classroom.

  908. Stop you fooling Why? Right, right, right.

  909. They can't know. We got to play, play, play.

  910. No, no, no, no, we got to teach them young about the Holy Ghost.

  911. The bet the quicker they know about the Holy Ghost.

  912. See, when you older and learn about the Holy Ghost, you still

  913. you got control issues, so you got you got to lodge, you got to

  914. filter Holy Ghost through. But when you learn as a young

  915. kids, kids are more like how God want us to be with his Spirit

  916. than us, us adults. You'll see kids randomly walk up

  917. here, run from their parents and lift their hands and just look.

  918. And then there's adults back there where God is pulling on

  919. them and they just stuck. Because God is trying to, he got

  920. to get through all of this hurt and all of this trauma and all

  921. this reasoning and all it is crap.

  922. All it is fear, all it is timidity.

  923. But little kid is just like, hey, no boundaries stay fixed

  924. because he commits himself to you, leans on you and hopes

  925. confidently you. I love.

  926. This at the top he will take. It upon himself to guard,

  927. protect, Garrison and keep diligently.

  928. Keep him in perfect so he has a responsibility for my peace and

  929. my stillness. Watch this.

  930. But my part, Here's my part, Here's my part, your part.

  931. Stay fixed. So you mean to tell me that my

  932. hardest test is going to be stay focused on him, what he said,

  933. what he called me to do? And then you mean he going to do

  934. the other side of that? The fruit of fixation is going

  935. to be peace that transcends all understanding, because I can't

  936. produce peace that transcends all understanding.

  937. Let me help somebody. You cannot produce this.

  938. He said stay fixed on me and I'll assure sometime that mean

  939. because you stay fixed on me, I'm moving people out your life

  940. sometime because you stay fixed on me.

  941. I'm closing doors that you watch this like Noah didn't have the

  942. strength to close the door on his neighbors and the rest his

  943. family. So God had to shut the door.

  944. But when you stay fixed on me, there's things that you don't

  945. have the strength or capacity to do and I have to do it because

  946. it's for my namesake. What if I told you this week?

  947. Your main job is to stay fixed on Him.

  948. Sounds simple, but busy is competing with your fixation on

  949. Jesus. So it's time to lock in.

  950. Somebody Say lock in one more time.

  951. Say lock in stillness is sustained by what the mind is

  952. fixed on, not by how much life slows down.

  953. Yeah, say like, you can write it down.

  954. You can. Stillness is sustained by what

  955. the mind is fixed on, not by how much life slows down.

  956. Get this. It's hard to be still constantly

  957. focused on moving targets. It's hard to be still constantly

  958. focused on things that's forever changing.

  959. That's why he's called the Rock Firm Foundation.

  960. You fix your life on his word that stays the same yesterday,

  961. today, and forevermore. Guess what happens?

  962. You can't be moved. Why?

  963. Because he can't be moved. But when you're constantly fixed

  964. on things, that will change. The market will change, Friends

  965. will change. People's emotions will change.

  966. They'll like you today, not like you tomorrow.

  967. Watch this. Everything is changing around

  968. us. But he's not.

  969. We have the one short thing in this world that's Jesus Christ.

  970. Everything's changing, right? You might have a business right

  971. now and there's a need for it five years from now, depending

  972. on what happened. There's no need for your

  973. business. COVID happens.

  974. Is that a is that a COVID, COVID safe or COVID?

  975. Proof, yeah, there we go. COVID proof business, right?

  976. God knows how to start a business that's going to make it

  977. through any storm that's coming, right?

  978. So everything's forever changing.

  979. Economy is forever changing. Leaders are forever changing.

  980. Visions are changing. People's motives are changing.

  981. People are maturing. People are losing their minds.

  982. People stability is changing. Finances is changing.

  983. Kids are growing, grandparents are dying.

  984. You're getting older. All this is changing.

  985. There's only one sure thing. So the only way to have peace in

  986. a forever changing world is to be fixed on the one that's not

  987. of this world. Yeah, clap about it.

  988. Absolutely. And so the Spirit makes us still

  989. by making God present and apparent.

  990. This is why we going to put our awareness on Him.

  991. We'll close with Exodus 33 and 2nd Corinthians 5 and the Lord

  992. said my president shall go with you.

  993. Watch it and I will give you rest.

  994. Anybody out here leading hundreds of thousands of people

  995. across the open ocean? Anybody ever had that

  996. responsibility? Huh?

  997. Next week. OK, Right.

  998. We're right. Anybody else?

  999. Any anybody. OK, My presence shall go with

1000. you And and I will give you rest by bringing you and the people

1001. into the promised land. See.

1002. Watch this. The same Holy Spirit that helped

1003. Moses lead hundreds of thousands.

1004. It's the same Holy Ghost that can help you lead one kid.

1005. What you tripping for? Right, same Holy Holy Ghost been

1006. helping, Holy Ghost been leading millions of people and you

1007. stressed out about the one that you got.

1008. No Holy Ghost to help you. He got strength for you.

1009. If he has strength for David to take out Goliath, he got

1010. strength for you to take out little Mama, little man, whoever

1011. it is, no, no, no, no, ain't nothing in this world got the

  1012. power. He said.

1013. I have deprived the world of power.

1014. So my presence shall go with you and I will give you rest by

1015. bringing you and the people into the Promised Land.

1016. Here we go again. I'm going to take initiative to

1017. make sure that you get into what I promised you.

1018. I will give you rest. Watch this.

1019. I will give you rest in the pursuit of the promise that I

1020. promised you. I will give you rest.

1021. Exodus 33 And Moses said to him, If your presence does not go

1022. with me, do not lead us up from here.

1023. I ain't going nowhere without your presence.

1024. For how then, Danny, can it be known that your people and I

1025. have found favor in your sight without your presence?

1026. Watch this resting up on us. Here it is.

1027. Is it not by your going with us, or is it not by your presence,

1028. so that we are distinguished? How are we as stressed as people

  1029. without? The spirit, that's a fixation

1030. problem. How are we as worried as the

1031. people without the Spirit? We got somebody who is

1032. committed, the Creator of the heavens and the earth is

1033. committed to get us to what he promised us.

1034. Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is,

1035. you know what emancipation is, right?

1036. So that's freedom from sickness, disease, depression, poverty,

1037. freedom. This is this is freedom, this is

1038. freedom. This is where the Spirit of the

1039. Lord is. There is liberty.

1040. There is. Come on, you can lift your hands

1041. and you can where the Spirit of the Lord is.

1042. This is how we keep our eyes fixed on Him.

1043. We lift our hands, we pause, we createspace for him.

  1044. No, what? What?

1045. What is it that you give God the first hour of your day, but

1046. don't talk to him the rest of the day?

1047. Or we stay fixed on you. Our part is to remain fixed on

1048. you. Not fixed on you because you're

1049. going to do something for us. But I think the greatest thing

1050. that anybody can have in this world is peace that transcends

1051. all understanding. I think that's the greatest

1052. asset in this world right now and forever is the peace that

1053. I'm not moved by no circumstances.

1054. I might be in pain, I might be crying, I might be hurt, I might

1055. be sad, but I got peace, right? This peace.

1056. I could have tears rolling down my face, but I'm still solid as

1057. a rock. I can feel a little bit of

1058. stress, I can have fear knocking at my heart, but as long as I

1059. stay fixed on him, there's a peace that just don't make

1060. sense. How am I not moved?

1061. How I'm not moving frantically? How am I not cussing you out?

1062. How am I not quitting? How am I not throwing in the

  1063. towel when I should? Everybody's quitting.

1064. Everybody's walking away. How am I still standing here

1065. fixed on you? And I have Peace of Mind.

1066. I'm not losing my mind. I got tears and a smile.

1067. I got tears and joy. I feel anger, but I'm sinning

  1068. not. I fear anger.

1069. I feel anger, but I still can lift somebody else's spirits up.

1070. I am not vacant of the presence of God.

1071. When other people need me because I'm going through

1072. something, I got the presence of God so I don't disappear on

1073. people I'm called to. I can stand with you.

1074. I can walk with you. And like Jesus, if it gets so

1075. heavy, there is somebody in the crowd that God is called to help

1076. carry my cross. Life gets heavy.

1077. Just like the cross got heavy for Jesus.

1078. But guess what? Jesus stayed fixed on the

1079. Father. Because rest is not geographical

1080. people. Rest is knowing God is here and

1081. He's governing. We are yielding to the Spirit

1082. who governs us. And when God governs, stillness

1083. follows. May we be aware.

1084. May we be aware and this is our last confession.

1085. We move, but we do not drift. We work, but we are not ruled by

1086. pressure. We move, but we do not drift.

1087. We work, but we are not ruled by pressure.

1088. One more time. We move but we do not drift.

1089. We work, but we are not ruled by pressure.

1090. I am still because he reigns. Lift your hands right where you

1091. are. Lift your hands right where you

1092. are. I am still because he reigns.

1093. I am still because he's in the driver's seat.

1094. Jesus don't crash out. Jesus is stable.

1095. He's fixed, guaranteed. Every morning I wake up, he's

1096. pleased. It needs to see me get up.

1097. He's pleased to see you get up. You're still fearfully and

1098. wonderfully made after your worst night.

1099. Like his love for you never changes, His promises are never

1100. changing. He's mindful of us.

1101. Come on, lift your hands. He's mindful of us.

1102. He's mindful of us. The Bible says he doesn't sleep

1103. nor slumber. He's mindful of us.

1104. When others are asleep, He's still watching over us.

1105. When people aren't picking up the phone, he's there.

1106. Yeah, when people don't call you back to give you some wisdom in

1107. a situation, don't freak out. Just pause.

1108. The Lord is there, He has the answer.

1109. Maybe He allowed them to miss that phone call because He needs

1110. you in this situation to hear exactly what He needs from you.

1111. Be still and know that I am God. Lift your hands.

1112. Be still and know that He is God.

1113. Can we take the next 60 seconds and pray in our heavenly prayer

1114. language? Come on, lift your voices.

1115. Lift your voices. He's here.

  1116. We're not inviting him. He's here.

  1117. He's here, He's here. Come on.

1118. We turn our attention towards you.

1119. We turn our affections towards you.

1120. We turn our hearts towards you. We turn our hands towards you.

1121. We turn our feet towards you. Here we are, Lord.

1122. Come on. Come on, sons and daughters.

1123. Come on, sons and daughters, come on.

1124. You can 2026 before we leave out of January.

1125. This will be the most stable, stable year of your life.

1126. Lord I I make a choice. I make a choice to stay fixed on

1127. you when you're still. You Can Dance even when it's not

1128. going your way, when you still, you could shout even when they

1129. don't feel good when you still. You can clap even when people

1130. walk out on you, when you still, even if your house is breaking

1131. apart, you can still find a praise because you stay fixed on

1132. him. What the enemy wants you to do

1133. is focus on circumstances. But Isaiah 60 says arise and

1134. shine from your prostrated position because the glory of

1135. the Lord is up on you, love quest.

1136. The glory of the Lord is up on you.

1137. Love Quest Glory of the Lord is upon your household Love quest.

1138. The glory of the Lord is resting upon your life love quest.

1139. The glory of the Lord is resting upon your family love quest.

1140. The glory of the Lord is resting upon your finances, love quest.

1141. The glory of the Lord is resting upon your marriage love quest.

1142. The glory of the Lord is resting upon your children love quest.

1143. The glory of the Lord is resting upon your relationships Love

1144. Quest. The glory of the Lord is here.

1145. The glory of the Lord is here. The glory of the the Lord is

1146. here. Thank you so much for tuning
