Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International

Church podcast, where we seek to love all nations, equip the

church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.

We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever

you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get

your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe

some tea, and get ready to receive.

Let's get into it. Psalm 46 has been a pretty

popular verse around here for the last little bit, and it

reads let be and be still, let be and be still.

Somebody say let be and be still.

Let be and be still and know. Somebody shout out and know come

on, No, shout out. Somebody when they say shout

out, shout out. Somebody shout out and know

that's a shout right there. Recognize and understand that we

turn this off, OK? That I am, God I am.

I'm not. I'm not going to be.

I am, I is. I'm him.

Let be be still. And no one more time.

You don't got to yell at your neighbor.

Just say and no that I am God. This is very important before we

move forward. We've been on let be and we've

been on be still. We've been on let be.

We've been on be still. We've been on let be and we've

been on be still. And no, that I am and know that

I am. For the last few weeks we've

been sitting in something extremely intentional.

I don't take God's word when He's repeating himself.

I do not take that for granted. He's clearly being intentional

in how He is. He is moving in this house, how

He is speaking to us. He is being very intentional and

we've learned, remember this. We've learned that stillness is

not calm. We've learned that stillness is

not calm and rest is not activity.

Rest is not inactivity. Sorry.

We've learned that stillness is not calm and rest is is not

inactivity. Do we have that?

Stillness is not calm. Stillness is not about your

discipline. Stillness is not about you doing

less. Because there's plenty of people

in the Bible that will kick our butts when it comes to busyness.

And rest is not inactivity. Stillness is the moment we step

out of unauthorized authority and motion.

It is the moment we step out of unauthorized authority and

motion. We've probably mentioned this

for several weeks, so I'm going to keep going.

We saw that stillness is not the absence of storms, it's the

recognition of who is ruling in the storms.

We learned that peace does not come from changed conditions.

Peace comes from awareness of government, recognized

government. And if we are honest, stillness

has been confronting us. That's why we don't like being

still. What if I told you it's not

about you choosing to be still or choosing to be busy?

But subconsciously we are all running from an area in our

lives that God is running after. And sometimes He or He

orchestrates or allows. He can orchestrate by allowing.

He does not have to orchestrate by 'cause He can orchestrate a

moment in our time that will force us to be still so that we

can hopefully, in the stillness and the quiet, become aware of

an area that he's after. Stillness does not just quiet

the room. Stillness reveals the heart.

And here's what the spirit is, is, is is doing in US.

You guys, He hasn't just been calling us to slow down in 2026.

He has not just been causing us or asking us to even go deeper.

Watch this. He has been asking us to trust

deeper, trust deeper. Watch this.

Trust longer, trust wider. It's like if, if, if, if if if I

am just getting back on the bike or just getting back in the

weights. I assume right?

Have you? Some of us are those people who

like. I haven't rode a bike for four

months, so I'm about to do 90 minutes on my first bike ride

back. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Like like know yourself. Maybe you can do 60, but it's a

kind of ride. Take it easy because the point

is not. The point is you're not only

watch this, it's very important. The the goal of getting back is

to not just get back. You have to create momentum to

stay back. So my first few bike rides back

is to create momentum and excitement to be back.

Not I see why I didn't ride for four months.

So it may just be 30 minutes enough to break a sweat, enough

to get the, the, the, the blood flowing.

And then when I finish, I shall want to get back on track.

What I'm saying? So if that's the case with

working out that I'm going to start off at 30 minutes, but if

I keep riding, I might be able to do 2 hours of long distance

riding or I should be lifting 50 lbs when I get back.

But a year from now I should be at 200 lbs.

So, so, So for me is I got a trace where I am consistently

tapping out in the faith race. I normally give up when it gets

hard in this area. What has been too long for your

faith or we've been aware of our patterns or or maybe it's not a

length of time, but it is circumstantial that you normally

your faith gets weak and weary if you're easily offended

person, if you have an orphan spirit when certain things don't

happen for you, are you tempted to grab a hold of the steering

wheel and take control? Everybody let me tell you

something till you go see Jesus, your trust can go deeper, your

faith can get get wider, you can trust longer, OK?

Because stillness without faith becomes passivity, stillness

without faith becomes passivity. You just twiddling your fingers

because you thought stillness meant inactivity.

You thought stillness meant don't do nothing.

You thought stillness meant do less.

What if stillness meant do efficient, do alignment, Do what

God has asked you to do, and be OK with him filling the blanks.

Watch this. Because stillness without faith

becomes passivity. Stillness without faith also

becomes wandering faith. It's not going to pop up on the

screen. It's not going to change

wandering faith. What is wandering faith?

If I asked some of you, you couldn't tell me right now

where's your faith employed? Watch this.

What if I told you that faith is not directed for everything in

my life? I don't need faith to go take

out the trash. I don't need faith to go pick up

my kids. I don't need faith to no, no,

no. And what we do, we just got

wandering faith. Your faith is not targeted to

nothing. So then first we got to get your

faith targeted and then we got to get it targeted on the right

thing. Because when God uses your

faith, it is for what He needs your faith for.

And we've been using our faith to get a job when all you needed

was an application. We we've been using faith for a

man or what? All you needed was patience and

to work on yourself. You didn't need faith for a man.

You needed faith to become a wife.

You didn't need faith for a wife.

You needed faith to become a husband and and and a wife don't

make you a husband. Characteristics of Jesus make

you a husband. So there's wandering faith and

then there's misdirected faith. But stillness rooted in faith

becomes power. Elder John, Stillness rooted in

faith becomes power. Tonight, we're not, we're not

leaving stillness behind. We're just going deeper into

stillness, guys. We're talking about faith, but

we're not talking about not like faith getting loud or faith

becoming performative. We're talking about settled

faith, confident faith, the kind of faith that doesn't flinch,

the kind of faith that refuses to waver.

Somebody say target practice. The kind of faith that can say I

know that I know, I know, period.

Convinced you can't unconvince me that I know this kind of

sounds like tell them I am that I am.

I love that because it's like just tell them I am that I am,

but I love I love that I am that period.

Yes, I am whatever that is healing.

I'm I'm, I'm, I'm Rafa provision, I'm Gyra, I am that

whatever because everybody's blank needs a different feel.

So I am that double down. I am.

And for us, our response should be I know that I know.

Come on, I'm going to talk to anybody on this Wednesday night.

A faith that does not flinch and refuses to waver.

Say I refuse to waver in 2026. Come on, tell your neighbor you

should consider stop wavering. I'm getting stirred up right now

because listen, you guys, great faith does not rise from effort.

It does not grow from effort. It does not grow from from from

more work. Great faith rises from

recognizing who is in control. Great faith comes by you

releasing the other end of the rope and letting Jesus have his

way. It does not come.

Great faith does not come from you doing more.

That's not even Bible. Faith does not come by doing,

but doing does prove faith. Faith without works, he's dead.

And it's not just doing. Watch this.

The doing that the Bible's talking about is not talking

about faith without busyness. It's it's it's about faith that

does not have corresponding action in what I got faith in.

It's not I got faith in getting this thing done, so I'm going to

do a lot of work to get the thing done.

No faith is I am going to do what the provider tells me to do

because he's going to get the thing done.

My faith is in him more than the thing.

So once my faith is in the one that can provide the one, the

one that the God of the impossible, I am not worried

about the thing. I have not.

I'm not worried about if it comes.

If it doesn't, I'm not worried about if somebody else get the

house, if the car don't come, if the promotion don't come because

my faith is not in the thing. See, when your faith is in the

thing, it comes into your life. And then when it leaves your

life, you, you, you have this depression moment.

Your your life slows down because your faith was in the

thing. Your faith was in the

inheritance, like the prodigal son.

It wasn't entrusted in the father's timing and the Father's

plan and the Father's love. Your faith was in the

inheritance. And because your faith was in

the thing, you pursued everything that the thing

promised to have. And then God said, go ahead.

Here it is. Once you know who's in control,

you guys, once you believe and know who's in control, you don't

have to rush, you don't have to manage, and you don't have to

strive. Striving ceases managing.

How many of y'all trying to manage your life in areas that

God is left? Like what what did, what would

your look life look like if you were only partnering with God as

it pertains to what He has planned for your life?

He said my yoke is easy, my burden is light.

When you are managing stuff outside of God's will, guess

what? It's yo yoke.

It's your burden and it ain't light because you carrying it by

yourself. You yoked up with your resume,

you yoked up with your with your with your bank account.

You yoked up with who you know. You yoked up with resources.

You not yoked up with him. You yoked up with gifts, you

yoked up with ability, but you not yoked up with the anointed

one. You don't have to strive.

You don't have to strive. You can be still and you can

know. You can let be.

You can stand down. Be still and know that you know

that you know. I want you to see something

before we leave. Be still and know is a mandate.

It's not a suggestion, it's a mandate.

We're going to go from this mandate and we're about to look

at a model, Matthew 8 says. But the Roman officer

interjected. Lord, who am I to to have you

come into my house? I understand your authority, for

I too am a man who walks under authority and have authority

over soldiers serve under me. I can tell one thing.

One to go and he'll go and another to come and he'll come.

I command my servants and they'll do whatever I ask.

So I know. So I know.

OK. I wanted to make sure your brain

is connecting. Be still and OK.

So here he comes, so I know. All of what we about to look at

is because he know the Lord has gave you a mandate.

Be still and know. So I know that all you need to

do is to stand here right where you at.

You don't need to take another step, Jesus, and command healing

over my Son, and he will be instantly healed.

Jesus was astonished when he heard this and said to those who

were following him, He has great faith than anyone I've

encountered in Israel. What kind of faith he got?

Come on, what kind of faith He got?

One more time, shout it out. What kind of faith he got?

He has great faith. Now what you got to understand

here guys, is he's coming as a Gentile.

Watch this and and watch this. Luke gives a different account.

What we're reading in Matthew says it's reading as he's

talking. Luke says he sends elders and

then friends later. So he actually never shows up

and talks to Jesus. But it's not wrong because one

writer decides to write it. In a way.

Watch this. Because back then, when you sent

your word, it was as good as you being present.

So Matthew speaks as if he was present because back then your

word was your presence. That ain't today, though.

That ain't today. You got to double check.

You got to do background checks. You got to double down, triple

down, quadruple down. Because not everybody word is a

presence. So Luke, because he's a doctor,

he's a physician, he's writing in detail.

So he's like, here's what happened this way.

The man, the centurion sent elders with a word, and as Jesus

was on his way, I guess he heard Jesus was on his way.

And he's like no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

The reason he sent people is because he didn't feel worthy.

So then he heard Jesus on the way to his house, and he sent

friends and said no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

He does not want you to come to the crib.

He doesn't feel worthy, but he tells us to tell you.

He knows if you just send your word, that my servant will be

healed. Watch this Jesus do it for him

because he's a good man. Although Gentile, He used his

own resources to build a temple. There's so much in here, but

it's not pertaining to tonight's message.

I'm just giving you some background.

This is a man. He's not a disciple.

He's now following Jesus. Watch this.

But because he's in authority, he knows authority.

I know that I know that I know. So I know, Jesus, you're a man

of authority. And the reason I don't need to

talk to you face to face is because I know the power of when

you say something, it happens because at home, I tell one to

go, they go. I tell one to come, they come.

I tell one to sit, they sit. I tell one to cook, they cook.

So all I need you to do, Jesus, is stand right there where you

are. I am not worthy.

I watch this. I know I'm not worthy.

So he is. This is a picture of his

humility. Jesus, you don't owe me nothing,

but I know I've sown. And I know the power of your

word. If you just speak it and send it

to this situation, my guy will be healed.

The Bible says the friends and elders, they came to the house

and when they got there he was well, Jesus did not go watch

this, nor did the elders and the friends come back and say Jesus

said and then healed. The word was sent faster than a

letter can get into Centurion's hands and the man got well.

So Jesus says, man, I ain't seen no faith like this.

This is great faith. Someone that don't need me to

touch them, someone that's humble and know that without me

they're nothing. Someone that understands the

authority of my word and that confidence and resolve and

unwavering to say watch this in the faith in the sender.

Watch this guys. What kind of faith is this that

I trust you to get a message to Jesus to to fulfill a desire I

got? No, no, no, no.

I want this so bad. I want to go talk to Jesus

myself to make sure what I'm telling Jesus it gets there to

him just like that. So there's such great faith

here. And here's he says, I know that

I know that I know if you send your word, he says, so I know

all you need to do is to stand here and command healing over my

son and he will it be instantly healed.

Watch this target. He didn't say Lord, bless my

house. This target some of y'all right

now you can't be still because you don't got focus on your

target and then you haven't surrendered your target to see

if that's his target. And now once I've gotten that

down, man, it's what's this Jesus fuels my faith when I'm

willing to get out the boat to pursue him.

Oh man, the Scripture says only, only say the word, only say the

word. You remember that Only say the

word. I have not found such great

faith. Jesus says.

The man says only say the word. And then and then Jesus says, I

have not found such great faith. Watch this.

He recognizes the centurion recognizes authority.

Do you recognize? Are you aware of the that?

Now be honest with yourself. Do you really understand how

much authority the word of God has?

Now I know you sing about it. I know you read it, but do your

actions do your do your do, do how you go about things look

like? Does your rest reflect your

recognition? Does your rest reflect your

recognition? Says I understand how command

works. He says I understand how command

How many of our prayer lives would be more mature if we

understood if we're praying something he spoke, then it's

settled. So I don't need to keep on

praying. Watch Jesus says this with many

words. Why are we praying so long?

The same words right? So mature praying is I can pray

for 30 minutes and not repeat myself some for some people,

repetition reflects doubt. I understand how command works.

What are you saying man? Look, you better off praying a

Jesus wept prayer and it's on command like it's it's it's

efficient. It's not short, it's efficient.

But somehow we think we're more spiritual if we could pray

longer. Long prayer is great, but long.

The longer the prayer, I say the deeper we go.

It's not the longer and we still on surface.

Like how long you going to stick the shovel in the ground and you

ain't getting nowhere. So then I got to discover how do

I go deeper in my prayer life? How do I go deeper when I'm

speaking? Man?

That's what's praying in the spirit is.

That's what worshipping is. Watch this.

That's what shutting up is. Watch this.

Just because you quiet don't mean you're not praying.

Watch this. Your spirit is praying Romans 8

to tell you the Holy Ghost prays for you.

OK, Jesus, watch this. I understand how command works.

Jesus marvels not because of confidence, but because of his

clarity. Now we got to see this.

Can we go deeper? Can we look at Scripture beyond?

What is this, the man's clarity? He says no, don't come to my

house. I am clear that I am not worthy.

I am clear. Watch this.

I am clear because I'm a Gentile.

It's not my time for a miracle. I'm aware that it's not my time,

but I need a favor and I've shown something.

I built something with my own seed and resources.

All I'm asking you to do is send your word.

I'm not asking you to come to my house.

I'm asking you to just speak to the sickness, right?

And way too much. Our prayer life is like, do me a

favor, not speak to the thing that's not of you.

No, it's not God. I need you to give me more

money. I need you to break poverty.

And once poverty is broken, I know what I need comes.

And what's this? It's not that what I need has

not come. But when the poverty spirit is

upon me, I don't know how to steward it, but everything is

like God do me a favor, I pray for this.

I pray for that. Can you do this for me versus

this is not like you get this off of me.

Get this off of me. Get this out of my life and the

result of this not being in my life.

What did he say? What did he say?

Watch this. He said I will rebuke the

devourer. He said you, so I'll rebuke the

devourer. I will get the thing out.

Your life that's eaten your harvest.

Hallelujah. Great faith.

Watch this. Great faith knows and is certain

of who's in control and it rests there.

It's coming and it rests there. Somebody say rest there.

No, no, no. It's not tossing and turning

there. It rests there.

Great faith knows and is certain of who's in control.

Does your rest look like you know who can control?

What's this? What's this guy's Hebrews?

But without faith it is impossible to please and be

satisfactory to him. Without faith it is impossible

to please and be satisfactory to him, for whoever come here would

come near to God. Must somebody say, must

necessarily believe that God exists and that he is, that he

is. Whoever is going to come to him

must believe that he is. It must be settled that he is.

I'm not praying trying to stir God up.

You can't stir God up. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

You can stir yourself up to be more aware of God.

But I must believe that God exists and He is somebody.

Say He is one more time. Say He is the rewarder of those

who earnestly and diligently seek Him.

What I see here is a lot of your restlessness.

Watch this guys is you are restless about the reward of

being saved, the reward of sowing the reward of being

diligent, the reward and you get antsy because you see no reward,

the reward of changing your spouse behavior, the reward.

But the Bible says if you're going to approach him, you must

believe and know that he is, which means it's the focus is

not the reward. The focus is on the rewarder.

He is the rewarder. He is that that that speaks to.

I know again, you got to see this.

I know that I know whoever approaches him must believe that

God exists like he's alive and he's not just out there

somewhere. He's in it with me that he is He

is the reward. He is James One says this only.

It must be only it must be only it must be.

Watch this. Let's go back real quick, real

quick. I don't want to scoop past this,

but without faith, it's impossible to please God.

There's no way around it, guys. So if, if, if, if, if I don't

want to displease God and I found out what this watch this.

It didn't say watch this, watch this.

It didn't say walking and saying displease God.

We know that, right? Huh.

I know. Oh, did you think that another

way you can displease God? No, no, no.

Sin separates you. A lack of faith displeases him.

Sin separates. That's what the blood came to

do. OK.

It came to handle that. So that's handled your sin not

going it's not separate. If you're a child of God, the

blood has the blood if you're in it, if you're if he's in you, if

you believe you're good. So move the sin conscious out

the way. And how many believers are

watching over they faith like they watching over they sin?

How many people faith conscious? I know you sin conscious, I know

you're trying not to do wrong, but what about not?

Are you trying not to not be in faith?

Are you trying to attack doubt like you trying to attack sin?

He said it's impossible without faith.

It's impossible to please him. Now watch this.

We go on to James only. It must be in faith only.

It must be in faith. Say that with me only.

It must be in faith one more time only.

It must be in faith that He asked with no wavering.

Who is he? You, y'all, us only.

It must be in faith that He asked with no wavering, no

hesitating, no doubting. For the one who wavers.

For the one who wavers. Who are we talking about?

The one who wavers is like a billowing, the billowing surge

out at sea that is blown, hit her and thither and tossed by

the wind. You guys got that?

Only it must be in faith that he asked with no wavering.

Who? Who is he talking about?

Us. We ask in the Lord, right?

You go back to this Gentile? He asked with no wavering, How

do I know that? Because he said I know he's very

clear. I know if you do XYZ I know this

is the result. Watch this.

He did not say Lord please like can you?

He did not say if it's your will.

He said, I know if you do this, it equals that I know, I know if

I sow so I don't got a bag for harvest because I've sown and

what I know about the seed is when I give, he gives press

down, shaken together and run it over.

I know, right? It's it's it's like sometimes

you just don't know or you're wavering because you don't

believe what he said. The sower can have the

confidence that he shall provide seed to the sower.

So the sower never goes without what I know that.

So if I don't got no seed, what's happening?

I must ain't sowing. And we need believers that what

no, act like, you know, move like, you know, pray like, you

know, worship like, you know, so like, you know, go like, you

know, you must know. It's wavering confidence.

And this is not just with church stuff.

If you are a believer, everything you do is church

stuff. You play sports, it's church

stuff. You work in the marketplace.

It's church stuff. It's all church stuff because

you're the light of the world. And when your confidence waivers

and dwindles, you're not shining.

You got to know if you know to my son.

You got to know when you step on the basketball court.

Now watch this. It's not I'm the best player on

the court. No, no, no.

I know a legion of angels is on the court with me, so no weapon

formed against me shall prosper. You might have a better left

hand than me, but your light ain't shining brighter than

mine. I know my purpose.

I know, my God, I know what I'm doing.

I know if I get injured, what I'm going to do and what I'm

going to be. This ball, this job, this

career, this spouse does not make me who I am.

This is not about all these external things.

This is about an internal knowing.

I'm a child of God. I know the orphan don't know.

This wavering confidence. And then we look in the world

and it looks like people got this extreme confidence.

You can only be so confident without God.

Why? Because you don't know.

But for the believer, we got to know that we know that we know.

We got to know it's going to be all right.

We got to know he going to bring our kids home one day.

We got to know that he going to heal our body.

We got to know we got to know he going to fight our battles.

We got to know we going in that building soon.

We got to know that God's going to provide.

We got to know says watch this. The TPT says it this way.

Just make sure you ask empowered by confident faith.

Just make sure whatever you asking for because right now

verse five is talking about he he'll give you wisdom.

We're going to get context in a second.

He'll get it's hot in here. It's hot in here that that's a

good heater. I'm glad I'm gay.

Yeah, Hallelujah. Amen.

Amen. Just just just just make sure

you ask. Empowered man, this is powerful.

Whatever you pray for, ask. Empowered.

Don't ask to get power, ask empowered.

That means ask knowing with confidence, by confident faith,

without doubting that you will what receive.

For the ambivalent person believes one minute and doubts

the next. Woo, being undecided makes you

become like the rough seas driven and tossed by the wind.

You're up one minute and tossed down the next.

I know for me, I'm tired of living like that man.

Start some don't finish it because I really don't know if

God's calling me to do this right.

I know I got a word. It's a difference between it

don't feel good then like I'm stepping out like did was that

God that told me to do that? One translation says a double

minded man unstable in all his ways.

He didn't say double minded in all his ways.

He say you unstable in all your ways, double minded.

Somebody step out on the court, on the field, in the job, double

minded, meaning your confidence is waving.

I don't know if I'm good enough. I don't know if I belong here.

Look, that's going to impact every aspect of your game.

Every aspect of your game, every aspect of your life is impacted

by the level of confidence that's sustained in your life.

And it's time for you to have sustained confidence.

It's time for you to stop being moved, tossed to and fro.

We got no, you got to know that you're called.

You got to know you're anointed. You got to know that you're a

child of God. You got to know that you know

that you know somebody shout out.

I know he says ask in faith with no doubting this word.

Doubting means to be divided, to hesitate between two judgments

and to internally argue. Watch this here.

Here's you're hesitating between two judgments.

You can't make up your mind. You're not clear about either

one. Like in some areas of your life,

it ain't going to hurt you. I don't know if I want Italian

food or Mexican food tonight. I just can't decide you just

going to be hungry for longer than you desire to be hungry.

That ain't going to kill you. But sometimes that same type of

idea comes when it comes to purpose and and life and my

emotions and trying to move past hurt and past bitterness and

past life's failures. And you're stuck between these

two judgments and understanding every way, every air of your

life. And watch this last one you

guys, you guys don't understand how much this one hurts your

faith. The internally to internally

argue watch this. That's why some of y'all grumpy

all the time because inside you have an argument about two

different things in your life and you watch this.

You grumpy because you ain't settled.

I'm helping somebody today. Don't be mad at them because

they push your buttons. Because when you happy you let

stuff bother you. Notice how less stuff bother you

when you happy. Some of y'all running from God

and you have good days. You have bad days and you wonder

why. You wonder why you're so grumpy

and you've been in a season of just I'm Moody and some people

you ain't grumpy. You're sad because that's the

way you're made. You will cry before you lash out

at somebody. You'll isolate before you lash

out at somebody and some of you are external.

You don't care. You don't got no brakes on your

mouth and you just going to lash out and you don't cut somebody

out or you going to say get out of my face or you going to pick

on somebody or some of y'all are very argumentative.

So you're going to pick a fight because watch this.

You're picking a fight because you need a release from the

fight that's within you. So you're picking a fight with

Troy. You're picking a fight with

Pastor Daniela because you need a break from arguing with

yourself. Come on, somebody.

So I need somebody to argue with.

What's this it this is divided allegiance, not intellectual

doubt. That's what I'm saying.

Like like like, I mean, I don't know if I want burgers.

You know, some of y'all married couples and got in arguments

like you pick tonight and then it's like I don't know what I

want and I'm like, well, I don't know what I want either.

I don't feel like the side. Well, I don't feel like the side

neither. We're going to eat whatever and

then everybody unhappy because we was just settled for like

microwave pizza or something. This is whatever in the freezer.

Hallelujah. Watch this, watch this.

Indecisiveness will have you living out the pig pen.

A double mind will have you living out the pig pen, he says.

How long will you be between two?

Give me some time. Give me some time.

like you're divided. This goes back to the throne.

This is why getting aligned with God's perfect will should be the

priority in your life. So then everything flows from

there, right? Being aligned with God allows me

to say that's not, yeah, that that's not going to work.

But when you're constantly in between these two places, you

just invite all kind of stuff in your life that look good, and

then you wonder why it went bad. Can I wait?

I don't feel like waiting. I could wait sometime.

Well, whatever. And while you in between, that's

when the enemy's like, watch this.

When you're in between, the enemy brings you suggestions,

right? Watch them, watch this.

And those suggestions in your mind, because it's weary, become

solutions. Now you're no longer trying to

get purpose. You're trying to stop waves

because your soul is tired of wavering.

So then you try a solution is suggested and you think homeboy,

home girl, new job, more money, go shopping, whatever, a job, a

callback or whatever that's going to stop the wavering and

then you going to get the thing. Guys like, go ahead, take the

inheritance. He like, oh, the inheritance

didn't solve the wavering. This was an internal argument

within my soul that I thought doing something was going to

bring peace and it's not. We're children of God.

We're sons and daughters. What he's called is I've come to

understand that nothing is worth no thrill is worth no talent, no

hobby, nothing is worth compromising the peace of God.

Watch this asking faith with no doubting.

He says this word doubting is the wave.

Watch this. Pay attention.

He says you're like a wave. He didn't say you're like an

anchor. The wave has no anchor.

The wave has no direction. The wave is ruled by external

forces. This is watch this the wind.

So you wonder why God sent the wind and then when the wind blew

you got people caught in the wind between two decisions.

But prior to that God's like make your mind up.

He sent the word 2 years old. Make your mind up you either all

You're either in all in the wind is blowing and those that didn't

being exposed. So where if you relieve yourself

from where you're being exposed, you automatically initially

think you just walked in peace. So you walk away and say, I know

that God told me to do this because I feel calm.

No, that is not peace. You just walked away from

exposure. You just walked away from having

to face yourself. You just walked away from having

to press into that. And the crazy part is you can go

23456 years and then look back and be like, Dang, I should have

did that a little different. I'm a witness of that.

You just want relief versus pressing in to what the wind is

revealing within you. Watch this.

James is not rebuking questions. He's exposing unsettled trust.

He's not rebuking our questions. He because he because the

scripture prior to that says you can ask God for wisdom and he'll

give it to you. He shows no partiality.

If you need wisdom somewhere, He got you.

So he's not rebuking you, asking God for something He's rebuking.

You're wavering in the ask. Watch this because somebody

What you asked for don't align with what you believe in.

How did you get saved according to the word?

You believed in your heart and confess with your mouth.

These things got to work together. 1 Without the one

without the other ain't faith. You can't just believe and be

quiet. You got to speak it.

Life and death is in the power of the tongue, right?

So you got to understand that you must.

So you got to do the work to get your heart to the same place

your mouth is, because some of y'all pray for stuff, but then

you curse it the moment you get up.

So I have to have a corresponding action.

I can't just believe it, I got to speak it.

And This is why you got to find the scripture to stand on, which

are confession. And I got to speak it.

You don't mean I got my it don't mean that my faith in it is as

strong as I'm confessing it, but while I'm trying to believe and

that's why sometimes you got to get away from certain people

because you working on getting your faith up in your heart.

So I'm I can, I might be in a season where man, I'm believing

for this thing, believing for my daughter.

I'm believing for my son. I'm believing for my marriage.

I'm believing for this job. I'm believing.

So I got to make sure that I am guarding my heart, for out of it

flows the issues of life. Like, like, like the rough seas.

He says, watch this. The rough seas represent little

faith. It's the image of little faith.

Watch this. The sea has no anchor.

But he says you're like the sea, not a boat.

You're like the sea. The wave has no direction and

the rough seas are ruled by external forces.

Who's in control will always be moved by circumstances.

healing because out your mouth you saying you want to be

healed, you want to be over this situation.

But your absence, you're not giving yourself your hard time

to heal in your lifetime to get refreshed.

things working for you, it is not genuine.

that the trial and proving somebody say proving the trial

does this is so important. The trial does not create faith.

It exposes your faith's maturity.

produces faith. Faith comes by hearing and even

if I go through a a trial and I never had an encounter, when I

come out of that trial, I'm going to find myself still a

baby in my faith. That's why you got people year

after year after year after year, still struggling with the

same old. What's this?

The trial does not create faith. Please understand that.

Please get that the trial does not create faith.

This is why it's important during this.

Your posture during the trial is vital.

Don't waste time in a trial and don't come out complete.

Watch what it says. Be assured and understand that

the trial improvement of your faith, the trial does not create

faith that exposes it. Watch this.

It says that proving of your faith brings out endurance.

Remaining under pressure, staying put, not fleeing when

pressed. So on one hand I want to build

my faith, but what's more important to build my faith is

endurance to stay under. Because it's the longer I stay

under, the more I know. Watch this.

It's knowing this, so I can't try to tap out when God is like

I'm giving you grace to stay in. I can't try to go around the

fiery furnace when God said I gave you the grace to go in the

fiery furnace. I can't try to flee the lion's

den when God says I didn't just anoint you to go in the lion's

den. I anointed you to go in the

lion's den and sit down. Come on.

That's a grace right there. I didn't get.

He didn't say go in the lion's den and run around him.

He's like, no, no, he said, go on that lion's den and sit down

and be still and let, let let that let them teeth just come

all over. Go all right in your face.

And you just yeah, watch this. That is powerful because what?

What what God has for me, it is produced through remaining

under, staying put, not fleeing when pressed, but press in.

Some folks want their marriage to get better, but you don't

want to stay under and you don't want to feel pressed.

And this you got to dig. Watch this steadfast and

patience, it's stillness under patience.

can endure. That's why you got to be careful

people I'm just I don't even want to know like I want to know

it'd be good for entertainment, but I don't even want to know

because I I, because my knowing is very important and depending

on what I know, what I know watch this.

What I know can can can be if I know two different things they

Who's telling the truth? You would have been better off

like and This is why the Bible says I ain't taking nobody's

side. I'm on God's side.

nosy and know that he God. No, you're not going to be nosy

because you're going to know God perfected is realized when we

allow the play to run. The word complete here means

intact. At the end you will be complete.

There's a plan to have you come out of the fiery furnace intact.

Come out of a tumultuous relationship intact because

somebody praise God for it being intact despite what we've been

through. Come on, I'm, I'm still intact.

I don't look like what I came out of that God has brought me

out intact. I grew up without my father in

my life, but guess what? I'm intact.

You would have never knew what you've been through because you

look so intact. God's promise is that you will

go through this son, you will go through this daughter.

But if you let patience have it's perfect work, you will come

out intact. Somebody say intact, see some of

us come out of storms trashy because we grabbed the steering

wheel. You lost your teeth because you

wanted to be in control. Yeah, if if the if Shadrach,

Meshach and Abednego tried to put things in control, they

would have came out burnt. They would have came out sins.

They would have came out smelling like fire.

If Daniel wouldn't have been still and tried to fight the

lions and then let be God, he would have came out all bit up

if not dead. So how much of your bruises in

your scars is because you took control when God said be still?

Whoa, self-inflicted. self-inflicted.

But I'm here to tell you, God redeems his plan for you is that

even when you come out of this, you will come out intact.

You will come out undivided with no internal fractures, no

internal fractures. I said no internal fractures.

Some of you, God, my one hair brought you out of a situation

and you are hurt enough. You are damaged enough, but

that's not the end of the story. Now you got to be patient for

him to heal. You got to be patient for him to

redeem. And I promise you, you're going

to come out of this and there will be no internal fractures.

Watch this. That means trauma won't stick.

Family members have come out of some stuff, children have come

out of some stuff. And I promise you, unless we

tell the test, that's the power of the testimony.

Elder John, if Bernadette told you what she has been, how she

what she's come out of you, the power of the testimony is not

just the story. It's just I don't look like my

story. Thank God I don't look defeated.

Thank God I don't look depressed.

Thank God I don't look mentally ill.

way you left. Your seat was never taken.

Lord, we lift our hands right now and we say thank you for not

just giving us a seat, but when we got out the seat and
