  1. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International

  2. Church podcast, where we seek to love all nations, equip the

  3. church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.

  4. We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever

  5. you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get

  6. your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe

  7. some tea, and get ready to receive.

  8. Let's get into it. Psalm 46 has been a pretty

  9. popular verse around here for the last little bit, and it

  10. reads let be and be still, let be and be still.

  11. Somebody say let be and be still.

  12. Let be and be still and know. Somebody shout out and know come

  13. on, No, shout out. Somebody when they say shout

  14. out, shout out. Somebody shout out and know

  15. that's a shout right there. Recognize and understand that we

  16. turn this off, OK? That I am, God I am.

  17. I'm not. I'm not going to be.

  18. I am, I is. I'm him.

  19. Let be be still. And no one more time.

  20. You don't got to yell at your neighbor.

  21. Just say and no that I am God. This is very important before we

  22. move forward. We've been on let be and we've

  23. been on be still. We've been on let be.

  24. We've been on be still. We've been on let be and we've

  25. been on be still. And no, that I am and know that

  26. I am. For the last few weeks we've

  27. been sitting in something extremely intentional.

  28. I don't take God's word when He's repeating himself.

  29. I do not take that for granted. He's clearly being intentional

  30. in how He is. He is moving in this house, how

  31. He is speaking to us. He is being very intentional and

  32. we've learned, remember this. We've learned that stillness is

  33. not calm. We've learned that stillness is

  34. not calm and rest is not activity.

  35. Rest is not inactivity. Sorry.

  36. We've learned that stillness is not calm and rest is is not

  37. inactivity. Do we have that?

  38. Stillness is not calm. Stillness is not about your

  39. discipline. Stillness is not about you doing

  40. less. Because there's plenty of people

  41. in the Bible that will kick our butts when it comes to busyness.

  42. And rest is not inactivity. Stillness is the moment we step

  43. out of unauthorized authority and motion.

  44. It is the moment we step out of unauthorized authority and

  45. motion. We've probably mentioned this

  46. for several weeks, so I'm going to keep going.

  47. We saw that stillness is not the absence of storms, it's the

  48. recognition of who is ruling in the storms.

  49. We learned that peace does not come from changed conditions.

  50. Peace comes from awareness of government, recognized

  51. government. And if we are honest, stillness

  52. has been confronting us. That's why we don't like being

  53. still. What if I told you it's not

  54. about you choosing to be still or choosing to be busy?

  55. But subconsciously we are all running from an area in our

  56. lives that God is running after. And sometimes He or He

  57. orchestrates or allows. He can orchestrate by allowing.

  58. He does not have to orchestrate by 'cause He can orchestrate a

  59. moment in our time that will force us to be still so that we

  60. can hopefully, in the stillness and the quiet, become aware of

  61. an area that he's after. Stillness does not just quiet

  62. the room. Stillness reveals the heart.

  63. And here's what the spirit is, is, is is doing in US.

  64. You guys, He hasn't just been calling us to slow down in 2026.

  65. He has not just been causing us or asking us to even go deeper.

  66. Watch this. He has been asking us to trust

  67. deeper, trust deeper. Watch this.

  68. Trust longer, trust wider. It's like if, if, if, if if if I

  69. am just getting back on the bike or just getting back in the

  70. weights. I assume right?

  71. Have you? Some of us are those people who

  72. like. I haven't rode a bike for four

  73. months, so I'm about to do 90 minutes on my first bike ride

  74. back. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

  75. Like like know yourself. Maybe you can do 60, but it's a

  76. kind of ride. Take it easy because the point

  77. is not. The point is you're not only

  78. watch this, it's very important. The the goal of getting back is

  79. to not just get back. You have to create momentum to

  80. stay back. So my first few bike rides back

  81. is to create momentum and excitement to be back.

  82. Not I see why I didn't ride for four months.

  83. So it may just be 30 minutes enough to break a sweat, enough

  84. to get the, the, the, the blood flowing.

  85. And then when I finish, I shall want to get back on track.

  86. What I'm saying? So if that's the case with

  87. working out that I'm going to start off at 30 minutes, but if

  88. I keep riding, I might be able to do 2 hours of long distance

  89. riding or I should be lifting 50 lbs when I get back.

  90. But a year from now I should be at 200 lbs.

  91. So, so, So for me is I got a trace where I am consistently

  92. tapping out in the faith race. I normally give up when it gets

  93. hard in this area. What has been too long for your

  94. faith or we've been aware of our patterns or or maybe it's not a

  95. length of time, but it is circumstantial that you normally

  96. your faith gets weak and weary if you're easily offended

  97. person, if you have an orphan spirit when certain things don't

  98. happen for you, are you tempted to grab a hold of the steering

  99. wheel and take control? Everybody let me tell you

  100. something till you go see Jesus, your trust can go deeper, your

  101. faith can get get wider, you can trust longer, OK?

  102. Because stillness without faith becomes passivity, stillness

  103. without faith becomes passivity. You just twiddling your fingers

  104. because you thought stillness meant inactivity.

  105. You thought stillness meant don't do nothing.

  106. You thought stillness meant do less.

  107. What if stillness meant do efficient, do alignment, Do what

  108. God has asked you to do, and be OK with him filling the blanks.

  109. Watch this. Because stillness without faith

  110. becomes passivity. Stillness without faith also

  111. becomes wandering faith. It's not going to pop up on the

  112. screen. It's not going to change

  113. wandering faith. What is wandering faith?

  114. If I asked some of you, you couldn't tell me right now

  115. where's your faith employed? Watch this.

  116. What if I told you that faith is not directed for everything in

  117. my life? I don't need faith to go take

  118. out the trash. I don't need faith to go pick up

  119. my kids. I don't need faith to no, no,

  120. no. And what we do, we just got

  121. wandering faith. Your faith is not targeted to

  122. nothing. So then first we got to get your

  123. faith targeted and then we got to get it targeted on the right

  124. thing. Because when God uses your

  125. faith, it is for what He needs your faith for.

  126. And we've been using our faith to get a job when all you needed

  127. was an application. We we've been using faith for a

  128. man or what? All you needed was patience and

  129. to work on yourself. You didn't need faith for a man.

  130. You needed faith to become a wife.

  131. You didn't need faith for a wife.

  132. You needed faith to become a husband and and and a wife don't

  133. make you a husband. Characteristics of Jesus make

  134. you a husband. So there's wandering faith and

  135. then there's misdirected faith. But stillness rooted in faith

  136. becomes power. Elder John, Stillness rooted in

  137. faith becomes power. Tonight, we're not, we're not

  138. leaving stillness behind. We're just going deeper into

  139. stillness, guys. We're talking about faith, but

  140. we're not talking about not like faith getting loud or faith

  141. becoming performative. We're talking about settled

  142. faith, confident faith, the kind of faith that doesn't flinch,

  143. the kind of faith that refuses to waver.

  144. Somebody say target practice. The kind of faith that can say I

  145. know that I know, I know, period.

  146. Convinced you can't unconvince me that I know this kind of

  147. sounds like tell them I am that I am.

  148. I love that because it's like just tell them I am that I am,

  149. but I love I love that I am that period.

  150. Yes, I am whatever that is healing.

  151. I'm I'm, I'm, I'm Rafa provision, I'm Gyra, I am that

  152. whatever because everybody's blank needs a different feel.

  153. So I am that double down. I am.

  154. And for us, our response should be I know that I know.

  155. Come on, I'm going to talk to anybody on this Wednesday night.

  156. A faith that does not flinch and refuses to waver.

  157. Say I refuse to waver in 2026. Come on, tell your neighbor you

  158. should consider stop wavering. I'm getting stirred up right now

  159. because listen, you guys, great faith does not rise from effort.

  160. It does not grow from effort. It does not grow from from from

  161. more work. Great faith rises from

  162. recognizing who is in control. Great faith comes by you

  163. releasing the other end of the rope and letting Jesus have his

  164. way. It does not come.

  165. Great faith does not come from you doing more.

  166. That's not even Bible. Faith does not come by doing,

  167. but doing does prove faith. Faith without works, he's dead.

  168. And it's not just doing. Watch this.

  169. The doing that the Bible's talking about is not talking

  170. about faith without busyness. It's it's it's about faith that

  171. does not have corresponding action in what I got faith in.

  172. It's not I got faith in getting this thing done, so I'm going to

  173. do a lot of work to get the thing done.

  174. No faith is I am going to do what the provider tells me to do

  175. because he's going to get the thing done.

  176. My faith is in him more than the thing.

  177. So once my faith is in the one that can provide the one, the

  178. one that the God of the impossible, I am not worried

  179. about the thing. I have not.

  180. I'm not worried about if it comes.

  181. If it doesn't, I'm not worried about if somebody else get the

  182. house, if the car don't come, if the promotion don't come because

  183. my faith is not in the thing. See, when your faith is in the

  184. thing, it comes into your life. And then when it leaves your

  185. life, you, you, you have this depression moment.

  186. Your your life slows down because your faith was in the

  187. thing. Your faith was in the

  188. inheritance, like the prodigal son.

  189. It wasn't entrusted in the father's timing and the Father's

  190. plan and the Father's love. Your faith was in the

  191. inheritance. And because your faith was in

  192. the thing, you pursued everything that the thing

  193. promised to have. And then God said, go ahead.

  194. Here it is. Once you know who's in control,

  195. you guys, once you believe and know who's in control, you don't

  196. have to rush, you don't have to manage, and you don't have to

  197. strive. Striving ceases managing.

  198. How many of y'all trying to manage your life in areas that

  199. God is left? Like what what did, what would

  200. your look life look like if you were only partnering with God as

  201. it pertains to what He has planned for your life?

  202. He said my yoke is easy, my burden is light.

  203. When you are managing stuff outside of God's will, guess

  204. what? It's yo yoke.

  205. It's your burden and it ain't light because you carrying it by

  206. yourself. You yoked up with your resume,

  207. you yoked up with your with your with your bank account.

  208. You yoked up with who you know. You yoked up with resources.

  209. You not yoked up with him. You yoked up with gifts, you

  210. yoked up with ability, but you not yoked up with the anointed

  211. one. You don't have to strive.

  212. You don't have to strive. You can be still and you can

  213. know. You can let be.

  214. You can stand down. Be still and know that you know

  215. that you know. I want you to see something

  216. before we leave. Be still and know is a mandate.

  217. It's not a suggestion, it's a mandate.

  218. We're going to go from this mandate and we're about to look

  219. at a model, Matthew 8 says. But the Roman officer

  220. interjected. Lord, who am I to to have you

  221. come into my house? I understand your authority, for

  222. I too am a man who walks under authority and have authority

  223. over soldiers serve under me. I can tell one thing.

  224. One to go and he'll go and another to come and he'll come.

  225. I command my servants and they'll do whatever I ask.

  226. So I know. So I know.

  227. OK. I wanted to make sure your brain

  228. is connecting. Be still and OK.

  229. So here he comes, so I know. All of what we about to look at

  230. is because he know the Lord has gave you a mandate.

  231. Be still and know. So I know that all you need to

  232. do is to stand here right where you at.

  233. You don't need to take another step, Jesus, and command healing

  234. over my Son, and he will be instantly healed.

  235. Jesus was astonished when he heard this and said to those who

  236. were following him, He has great faith than anyone I've

  237. encountered in Israel. What kind of faith he got?

  238. Come on, what kind of faith He got?

  239. One more time, shout it out. What kind of faith he got?

  240. He has great faith. Now what you got to understand

  241. here guys, is he's coming as a Gentile.

  242. Watch this and and watch this. Luke gives a different account.

  243. What we're reading in Matthew says it's reading as he's

  244. talking. Luke says he sends elders and

  245. then friends later. So he actually never shows up

  246. and talks to Jesus. But it's not wrong because one

  247. writer decides to write it. In a way.

  248. Watch this. Because back then, when you sent

  249. your word, it was as good as you being present.

  250. So Matthew speaks as if he was present because back then your

  251. word was your presence. That ain't today, though.

  252. That ain't today. You got to double check.

  253. You got to do background checks. You got to double down, triple

  254. down, quadruple down. Because not everybody word is a

  255. presence. So Luke, because he's a doctor,

  256. he's a physician, he's writing in detail.

  257. So he's like, here's what happened this way.

  258. The man, the centurion sent elders with a word, and as Jesus

  259. was on his way, I guess he heard Jesus was on his way.

  260. And he's like no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

  261. The reason he sent people is because he didn't feel worthy.

  262. So then he heard Jesus on the way to his house, and he sent

  263. friends and said no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

  264. He does not want you to come to the crib.

  265. He doesn't feel worthy, but he tells us to tell you.

  266. He knows if you just send your word, that my servant will be

  267. healed. Watch this Jesus do it for him

  268. because he's a good man. Although Gentile, He used his

  269. own resources to build a temple. There's so much in here, but

  270. it's not pertaining to tonight's message.

  271. I'm just giving you some background.

  272. This is a man. He's not a disciple.

  273. He's now following Jesus. Watch this.

  274. But because he's in authority, he knows authority.

  275. I know that I know that I know. So I know, Jesus, you're a man

  276. of authority. And the reason I don't need to

  277. talk to you face to face is because I know the power of when

  278. you say something, it happens because at home, I tell one to

  279. go, they go. I tell one to come, they come.

  280. I tell one to sit, they sit. I tell one to cook, they cook.

  281. So all I need you to do, Jesus, is stand right there where you

  282. are. I am not worthy.

  283. I watch this. I know I'm not worthy.

  284. So he is. This is a picture of his

  285. humility. Jesus, you don't owe me nothing,

  286. but I know I've sown. And I know the power of your

  287. word. If you just speak it and send it

  288. to this situation, my guy will be healed.

  289. The Bible says the friends and elders, they came to the house

  290. and when they got there he was well, Jesus did not go watch

  291. this, nor did the elders and the friends come back and say Jesus

  292. said and then healed. The word was sent faster than a

  293. letter can get into Centurion's hands and the man got well.

  294. So Jesus says, man, I ain't seen no faith like this.

  295. This is great faith. Someone that don't need me to

  296. touch them, someone that's humble and know that without me

  297. they're nothing. Someone that understands the

  298. authority of my word and that confidence and resolve and

  299. unwavering to say watch this in the faith in the sender.

  300. Watch this guys. What kind of faith is this that

  301. I trust you to get a message to Jesus to to fulfill a desire I

  302. got? No, no, no, no.

  303. I want this so bad. I want to go talk to Jesus

  304. myself to make sure what I'm telling Jesus it gets there to

  305. him just like that. So there's such great faith

  306. here. And here's he says, I know that

  307. I know that I know if you send your word, he says, so I know

  308. all you need to do is to stand here and command healing over my

  309. son and he will it be instantly healed.

  310. Watch this target. He didn't say Lord, bless my

  311. house. This target some of y'all right

  312. now you can't be still because you don't got focus on your

  313. target and then you haven't surrendered your target to see

  314. if that's his target. And now once I've gotten that

  315. down, man, it's what's this Jesus fuels my faith when I'm

  316. willing to get out the boat to pursue him.

  317. Oh man, the Scripture says only, only say the word, only say the

  318. word. You remember that Only say the

  319. word. I have not found such great

  320. faith. Jesus says.

  321. The man says only say the word. And then and then Jesus says, I

  322. have not found such great faith. Watch this.

  323. He recognizes the centurion recognizes authority.

  324. Do you recognize? Are you aware of the that?

  325. Now be honest with yourself. Do you really understand how

  326. much authority the word of God has?

  327. Now I know you sing about it. I know you read it, but do your

  328. actions do your do your do, do how you go about things look

  329. like? Does your rest reflect your

  330. recognition? Does your rest reflect your

  331. recognition? Says I understand how command

  332. works. He says I understand how command

  333. works. I understand how command works.

  334. If you speak, it's settled. It's the next slide.

  335. If you speak, it's settled. I understand how command works.

  336. If you speak, it's settled. I understand how command works.

  337. If you speak, it's settled. If, if, if, watch this.

  338. How many of our prayer lives would be more mature if we

  339. understood if we're praying something he spoke, then it's

  340. settled. So I don't need to keep on

  341. praying. Watch Jesus says this with many

  342. words. Why are we praying so long?

  343. The same words right? So mature praying is I can pray

  344. for 30 minutes and not repeat myself some for some people,

  345. repetition reflects doubt. I understand how command works.

  346. What are you saying man? Look, you better off praying a

  347. Jesus wept prayer and it's on command like it's it's it's

  348. efficient. It's not short, it's efficient.

  349. But somehow we think we're more spiritual if we could pray

  350. longer. Long prayer is great, but long.

  351. The longer the prayer, I say the deeper we go.

  352. It's not the longer and we still on surface.

  353. Like how long you going to stick the shovel in the ground and you

  354. ain't getting nowhere. So then I got to discover how do

  355. I go deeper in my prayer life? How do I go deeper when I'm

  356. speaking? Man?

  357. That's what's praying in the spirit is.

  358. That's what worshipping is. Watch this.

  359. That's what shutting up is. Watch this.

  360. Just because you quiet don't mean you're not praying.

  361. Watch this. Your spirit is praying Romans 8

  362. to tell you the Holy Ghost prays for you.

  363. OK, Jesus, watch this. I understand how command works.

  364. Jesus marvels not because of confidence, but because of his

  365. clarity. Now we got to see this.

  366. Can we go deeper? Can we look at Scripture beyond?

  367. What is this, the man's clarity? He says no, don't come to my

  368. house. I am clear that I am not worthy.

  369. I am clear. Watch this.

  370. I am clear because I'm a Gentile.

  371. It's not my time for a miracle. I'm aware that it's not my time,

  372. but I need a favor and I've shown something.

  373. I built something with my own seed and resources.

  374. All I'm asking you to do is send your word.

  375. I'm not asking you to come to my house.

  376. I'm asking you to just speak to the sickness, right?

  377. And way too much. Our prayer life is like, do me a

  378. favor, not speak to the thing that's not of you.

  379. No, it's not God. I need you to give me more

  380. money. I need you to break poverty.

  381. And once poverty is broken, I know what I need comes.

  382. And what's this? It's not that what I need has

  383. not come. But when the poverty spirit is

  384. upon me, I don't know how to steward it, but everything is

  385. like God do me a favor, I pray for this.

  386. I pray for that. Can you do this for me versus

  387. this is not like you get this off of me.

  388. Get this off of me. Get this out of my life and the

  389. result of this not being in my life.

  390. What did he say? What did he say?

  391. Watch this. He said I will rebuke the

  392. devourer. He said you, so I'll rebuke the

  393. devourer. I will get the thing out.

  394. Your life that's eaten your harvest.

  395. Hallelujah. Great faith.

  396. Watch this. Great faith knows and is certain

  397. of who's in control and it rests there.

  398. It's coming and it rests there. Somebody say rest there.

  399. No, no, no. It's not tossing and turning

  400. there. It rests there.

  401. Great faith knows and is certain of who's in control.

  402. Does your rest look like you know who can control?

  403. What's this? What's this guy's Hebrews?

  404. Hebrews. Hebrews.

  405. But without faith it is impossible to please and be

  406. satisfactory to him. Without faith it is impossible

  407. to please and be satisfactory to him, for whoever come here would

  408. come near to God. Must somebody say, must

  409. necessarily believe that God exists and that he is, that he

  410. is. Whoever is going to come to him

  411. must believe that he is. It must be settled that he is.

  412. I'm not praying trying to stir God up.

  413. You can't stir God up. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

  414. You can stir yourself up to be more aware of God.

  415. But I must believe that God exists and He is somebody.

  416. Say He is one more time. Say He is the rewarder of those

  417. who earnestly and diligently seek Him.

  418. What I see here is a lot of your restlessness.

  419. Watch this guys is you are restless about the reward of

  420. being saved, the reward of sowing the reward of being

  421. diligent, the reward and you get antsy because you see no reward,

  422. the reward of changing your spouse behavior, the reward.

  423. But the Bible says if you're going to approach him, you must

  424. believe and know that he is, which means it's the focus is

  425. not the reward. The focus is on the rewarder.

  426. He is the rewarder. He is that that that speaks to.

  427. I know again, you got to see this.

  428. I know that I know whoever approaches him must believe that

  429. God exists like he's alive and he's not just out there

  430. somewhere. He's in it with me that he is He

  431. is the reward. He is James One says this only.

  432. It must be only it must be only it must be.

  433. Watch this. Let's go back real quick, real

  434. quick. I don't want to scoop past this,

  435. but without faith, it's impossible to please God.

  436. There's no way around it, guys. So if, if, if, if, if I don't

  437. want to displease God and I found out what this watch this.

  438. It didn't say watch this, watch this.

  439. It didn't say walking and saying displease God.

  440. We know that, right? Huh.

  441. I know. Oh, did you think that another

  442. way you can displease God? No, no, no.

  443. Sin separates you. A lack of faith displeases him.

  444. Sin separates. That's what the blood came to

  445. do. OK.

  446. It came to handle that. So that's handled your sin not

  447. going it's not separate. If you're a child of God, the

  448. blood has the blood if you're in it, if you're if he's in you, if

  449. you believe you're good. So move the sin conscious out

  450. the way. And how many believers are

  451. watching over they faith like they watching over they sin?

  452. How many people faith conscious? I know you sin conscious, I know

  453. you're trying not to do wrong, but what about not?

  454. Are you trying not to not be in faith?

  455. Are you trying to attack doubt like you trying to attack sin?

  456. He said it's impossible without faith.

  457. It's impossible to please him. Now watch this.

  458. We go on to James only. It must be in faith only.

  459. It must be in faith. Say that with me only.

  460. It must be in faith one more time only.

  461. It must be in faith that He asked with no wavering.

  462. Who is he? You, y'all, us only.

  463. It must be in faith that He asked with no wavering, no

  464. hesitating, no doubting. For the one who wavers.

  465. For the one who wavers. Who are we talking about?

  466. The one who wavers is like a billowing, the billowing surge

  467. out at sea that is blown, hit her and thither and tossed by

  468. the wind. You guys got that?

  469. Only it must be in faith that he asked with no wavering.

  470. Who? Who is he talking about?

  471. Us. We ask in the Lord, right?

  472. You go back to this Gentile? He asked with no wavering, How

  473. do I know that? Because he said I know he's very

  474. clear. I know if you do XYZ I know this

  475. is the result. Watch this.

  476. He did not say Lord please like can you?

  477. He did not say if it's your will.

  478. He said, I know if you do this, it equals that I know, I know if

  479. I sow so I don't got a bag for harvest because I've sown and

  480. what I know about the seed is when I give, he gives press

  481. down, shaken together and run it over.

  482. I know, right? It's it's it's like sometimes

  483. you just don't know or you're wavering because you don't

  484. believe what he said. The sower can have the

  485. confidence that he shall provide seed to the sower.

  486. So the sower never goes without what I know that.

  487. So if I don't got no seed, what's happening?

  488. I must ain't sowing. And we need believers that what

  489. no, act like, you know, move like, you know, pray like, you

  490. know, worship like, you know, so like, you know, go like, you

  491. know, you must know. It's wavering confidence.

  492. And this is not just with church stuff.

  493. If you are a believer, everything you do is church

  494. stuff. You play sports, it's church

  495. stuff. You work in the marketplace.

  496. It's church stuff. It's all church stuff because

  497. you're the light of the world. And when your confidence waivers

  498. and dwindles, you're not shining.

  499. You got to know if you know to my son.

  500. You got to know when you step on the basketball court.

  501. Now watch this. It's not I'm the best player on

  502. the court. No, no, no.

  503. I know a legion of angels is on the court with me, so no weapon

  504. formed against me shall prosper. You might have a better left

  505. hand than me, but your light ain't shining brighter than

  506. mine. I know my purpose.

  507. I know, my God, I know what I'm doing.

  508. I know if I get injured, what I'm going to do and what I'm

  509. going to be. This ball, this job, this

  510. career, this spouse does not make me who I am.

  511. This is not about all these external things.

  512. This is about an internal knowing.

  513. I'm a child of God. I know the orphan don't know.

  514. This wavering confidence. And then we look in the world

  515. and it looks like people got this extreme confidence.

  516. You can only be so confident without God.

  517. Why? Because you don't know.

  518. But for the believer, we got to know that we know that we know.

  519. We got to know it's going to be all right.

  520. We got to know he going to bring our kids home one day.

  521. We got to know that he going to heal our body.

  522. We got to know we got to know he going to fight our battles.

  523. We got to know we going in that building soon.

  524. We got to know that God's going to provide.

  525. We got to know says watch this. The TPT says it this way.

  526. Just make sure you ask empowered by confident faith.

  527. Just make sure whatever you asking for because right now

  528. verse five is talking about he he'll give you wisdom.

  529. We're going to get context in a second.

  530. He'll get it's hot in here. It's hot in here that that's a

  531. good heater. I'm glad I'm gay.

  532. Yeah, Hallelujah. Amen.

  533. Amen. Just just just just make sure

  534. you ask. Empowered man, this is powerful.

  535. Whatever you pray for, ask. Empowered.

  536. Don't ask to get power, ask empowered.

  537. That means ask knowing with confidence, by confident faith,

  538. without doubting that you will what receive.

  539. For the ambivalent person believes one minute and doubts

  540. the next. Woo, being undecided makes you

  541. become like the rough seas driven and tossed by the wind.

  542. You're up one minute and tossed down the next.

  543. I know for me, I'm tired of living like that man.

  544. Start some don't finish it because I really don't know if

  545. God's calling me to do this right.

  546. I know I got a word. It's a difference between it

  547. don't feel good then like I'm stepping out like did was that

  548. God that told me to do that? One translation says a double

  549. minded man unstable in all his ways.

  550. He didn't say double minded in all his ways.

  551. He say you unstable in all your ways, double minded.

  552. Somebody step out on the court, on the field, in the job, double

  553. minded, meaning your confidence is waving.

  554. I don't know if I'm good enough. I don't know if I belong here.

  555. Look, that's going to impact every aspect of your game.

  556. Every aspect of your game, every aspect of your life is impacted

  557. by the level of confidence that's sustained in your life.

  558. And it's time for you to have sustained confidence.

  559. It's time for you to stop being moved, tossed to and fro.

  560. We got no, you got to know that you're called.

  561. You got to know you're anointed. You got to know that you're a

  562. child of God. You got to know that you know

  563. that you know somebody shout out.

  564. I know he says ask in faith with no doubting this word.

  565. Doubting means to be divided, to hesitate between two judgments

  566. and to internally argue. Watch this here.

  567. Here's you're hesitating between two judgments.

  568. You can't make up your mind. You're not clear about either

  569. one. Like in some areas of your life,

  570. it ain't going to hurt you. I don't know if I want Italian

  571. food or Mexican food tonight. I just can't decide you just

  572. going to be hungry for longer than you desire to be hungry.

  573. That ain't going to kill you. But sometimes that same type of

  574. idea comes when it comes to purpose and and life and my

  575. emotions and trying to move past hurt and past bitterness and

  576. past life's failures. And you're stuck between these

  577. two judgments and understanding every way, every air of your

  578. life. And watch this last one you

  579. guys, you guys don't understand how much this one hurts your

  580. faith. The internally to internally

  581. argue watch this. That's why some of y'all grumpy

  582. all the time because inside you have an argument about two

  583. different things in your life and you watch this.

  584. You grumpy because you ain't settled.

  585. I'm helping somebody today. Don't be mad at them because

  586. they push your buttons. Because when you happy you let

  587. stuff bother you. Notice how less stuff bother you

  588. when you happy. Some of y'all running from God

  589. and you have good days. You have bad days and you wonder

  590. why. You wonder why you're so grumpy

  591. and you've been in a season of just I'm Moody and some people

  592. you ain't grumpy. You're sad because that's the

  593. way you're made. You will cry before you lash out

  594. at somebody. You'll isolate before you lash

  595. out at somebody and some of you are external.

  596. You don't care. You don't got no brakes on your

  597. mouth and you just going to lash out and you don't cut somebody

  598. out or you going to say get out of my face or you going to pick

  599. on somebody or some of y'all are very argumentative.

  600. So you're going to pick a fight because watch this.

  601. You're picking a fight because you need a release from the

  602. fight that's within you. So you're picking a fight with

  603. Troy. You're picking a fight with

  604. Pastor Daniela because you need a break from arguing with

  605. yourself. Come on, somebody.

  606. So I need somebody to argue with.

  607. What's this it this is divided allegiance, not intellectual

  608. doubt. That's what I'm saying.

  609. Like like like, I mean, I don't know if I want burgers.

  610. You know, some of y'all married couples and got in arguments

  611. like you pick tonight and then it's like I don't know what I

  612. want and I'm like, well, I don't know what I want either.

  613. I don't feel like the side. Well, I don't feel like the side

  614. neither. We're going to eat whatever and

  615. then everybody unhappy because we was just settled for like

  616. microwave pizza or something. This is whatever in the freezer.

  617. Hallelujah. Watch this, watch this.

  618. Indecisiveness will have you living out the pig pen.

  619. A double mind will have you living out the pig pen, he says.

  620. How long will you be between two?

  621. Give me some time. Give me some time.

  622. Give me some time. You translate me whenever I talk

  623. like that to you. You know what that means?

  624. Now I'm getting you here. I'm giving some time.

  625. Hey, man, how are you? That's between me and day.

  626. Give me some time. Give me some time.

  627. Right. You get what I'm saying that

  628. like you're divided. This goes back to the throne.

  629. This is why getting aligned with God's perfect will should be the

  630. priority in your life. So then everything flows from

  631. there, right? Being aligned with God allows me

  632. to say that's not, yeah, that that's not going to work.

  633. But when you're constantly in between these two places, you

  634. just invite all kind of stuff in your life that look good, and

  635. then you wonder why it went bad. Can I wait?

  636. I don't feel like waiting. I could wait sometime.

  637. Well, whatever. And while you in between, that's

  638. when the enemy's like, watch this.

  639. When you're in between, the enemy brings you suggestions,

  640. right? Watch them, watch this.

  641. And those suggestions in your mind, because it's weary, become

  642. solutions. Now you're no longer trying to

  643. get purpose. You're trying to stop waves

  644. because your soul is tired of wavering.

  645. So then you try a solution is suggested and you think homeboy,

  646. home girl, new job, more money, go shopping, whatever, a job, a

  647. callback or whatever that's going to stop the wavering and

  648. then you going to get the thing. Guys like, go ahead, take the

  649. inheritance. He like, oh, the inheritance

  650. didn't solve the wavering. This was an internal argument

  651. within my soul that I thought doing something was going to

  652. bring peace and it's not. We're children of God.

  653. We're sons and daughters. What he's called is I've come to

  654. understand that nothing is worth no thrill is worth no talent, no

  655. hobby, nothing is worth compromising the peace of God.

  656. Watch this asking faith with no doubting.

  657. He says this word doubting is the wave.

  658. Watch this. Pay attention.

  659. He says you're like a wave. He didn't say you're like an

  660. anchor. The wave has no anchor.

  661. The wave has no direction. The wave is ruled by external

  662. forces. This is watch this the wind.

  663. So you wonder why God sent the wind and then when the wind blew

  664. you got people caught in the wind between two decisions.

  665. But prior to that God's like make your mind up.

  666. He sent the word 2 years old. Make your mind up you either all

  667. in you either in or all in two minds, 2 minds that that word

  668. came. The woman sat right here on the

  669. old stage right here, right here.

  670. Why? Look at what she addressed.

  671. You're either in all in the wind is blowing and those that didn't

  672. make their mind up the wind came and watch this.

  673. I became you became we became the speakers became the paint,

  674. became the garage, became the reason because watch this, I

  675. relieve myself from being still. I relieve myself from where I'm

  676. being exposed. So where if you relieve yourself

  677. from where you're being exposed, you automatically initially

  678. think you just walked in peace. So you walk away and say, I know

  679. that God told me to do this because I feel calm.

  680. No, that is not peace. You just walked away from

  681. exposure. You just walked away from having

  682. to face yourself. You just walked away from having

  683. to press into that. And the crazy part is you can go

  684. 23456 years and then look back and be like, Dang, I should have

  685. did that a little different. I'm a witness of that.

  686. You just want relief versus pressing in to what the wind is

  687. revealing within you. Watch this.

  688. James is not rebuking questions. He's exposing unsettled trust.

  689. He's not rebuking our questions. He because he because the

  690. scripture prior to that says you can ask God for wisdom and he'll

  691. give it to you. He shows no partiality.

  692. If you need wisdom somewhere, He got you.

  693. So he's not rebuking you, asking God for something He's rebuking.

  694. You're wavering in the ask. Watch this because somebody

  695. hears the waiver you like. Well, no, I didn't.

  696. I didn't ask for two things. No, watch this.

  697. What you asked for don't align with what you believe in.

  698. Watch it. OK.

  699. How did you get saved according to the word?

  700. You believed in your heart and confess with your mouth.

  701. These things got to work together. 1 Without the one

  702. without the other ain't faith. You can't just believe and be

  703. quiet. You got to speak it.

  704. Life and death is in the power of the tongue, right?

  705. So you got to understand that you must.

  706. So you got to do the work to get your heart to the same place

  707. your mouth is, because some of y'all pray for stuff, but then

  708. you curse it the moment you get up.

  709. So I have to have a corresponding action.

  710. I can't just believe it, I got to speak it.

  711. I can't just speak it. I got to believe it.

  712. And This is why you got to find the scripture to stand on, which

  713. are confession. And I got to speak it.

  714. You don't mean I got my it don't mean that my faith in it is as

  715. strong as I'm confessing it, but while I'm trying to believe and

  716. that's why sometimes you got to get away from certain people

  717. because you working on getting your faith up in your heart.

  718. So I'm I can, I might be in a season where man, I'm believing

  719. for this thing, believing for my daughter.

  720. I'm believing for my son. I'm believing for my marriage.

  721. I'm believing for this job. I'm believing.

  722. So I got to make sure that I am guarding my heart, for out of it

  723. flows the issues of life. Like, like, like the rough seas.

  724. He says, watch this. The rough seas represent little

  725. faith. It's the image of little faith.

  726. Watch this. The sea has no anchor.

  727. The sea has no anchor. The boat might.

  728. But he says you're like the sea, not a boat.

  729. You're like the sea. The wave has no direction and

  730. the rough seas are ruled by external forces.

  731. Watch this faith that hasn't settled.

  732. Who's in control will always be moved by circumstances.

  733. You have to settle who's in control.

  734. You got to settle. The battle ain't mine.

  735. You got to settle that. You can't confess it and then

  736. open your mouth and cut somebody out.

  737. You mad at No, no, no, no, no. The battles, the Lords.

  738. It's settled. Don't call again.

  739. Don't call them again. Might not even be able to answer

  740. the phone. Don't even don't even go eat

  741. next door. It's settled.

  742. I'm. And now I'm working on getting

  743. my heart to a place where it agrees with my mouth, right.

  744. So I'm declaring it settled now. I got to stay away long enough

  745. for my heart to line with my mouth.

  746. Some of y'all are, are, are, are, are, are are delaying your

  747. healing because out your mouth you saying you want to be

  748. healed, you want to be over this situation.

  749. But your absence, you're not giving yourself your hard time

  750. to heal in your lifetime to get refreshed.

  751. Watch this. Motion without direction creates

  752. exhaustion, not progress. Motion without direction.

  753. You're like the waves. Motion without direction creates

  754. exhaustion, not progress. Watch this, this Why sometime if

  755. you caught up in the middle of the storm and you ain't in the

  756. boat and you just find yourself in the middle of the sea, guess

  757. what you're going to have to do? Be still and just and pray God

  758. make this water get me somewhere.

  759. Because the longer I try to swim against the current, I'm not

  760. making progress. I'm fooling myself.

  761. So I got to I got to surrender. I'm trying to swim against

  762. something that don't have direction.

  763. Watch this, this test and James One.

  764. This test reveals whether faith is settled.

  765. Doubt shows up as instability, and instability produces motion

  766. without progress. Faith that hasn't settled is

  767. never rest. It will never rest.

  768. You can never rest when you don't have a settled faith.

  769. It is why some stuff with me and my my wife, you know, maturity

  770. has taught me if there are certain things we believe in for

  771. no, we're going to have to fight to get to settle.

  772. Both of us need to be settled. It's not not do whatever you

  773. want to do. OK, some stuff again, back to

  774. OK, we eating pizza. We no, I don't care.

  775. Order whatever, but but but in and there's some stuff in life.

  776. You can't just order whatever when you when cup when you and

  777. covenant with people, because you ever had somebody say go

  778. ahead, do it and then when you did it, they was mad you did it.

  779. But man, you told me to do it right, But they they gave you

  780. permission. Watch this.

  781. Be careful getting a blessing because they wasn't settled.

  782. So they give you permission because they don't want to make

  783. a decision. That's Mary stuff right there.

  784. That's so this is where you got a right.

  785. This is this is watch this. This is where you got to know

  786. your spouse, those that's been married long enough, your wife,

  787. your wife or your spouse be like, yeah, babe, it's OK.

  788. You call your friend back and be like, bro, I ain't going nowhere

  789. tonight. I I think it's I ain't going

  790. nowhere tonight. We I'm good.

  791. I'm staying right here. I'm staying right here.

  792. We we're going to stay at the crib.

  793. I I know that that that I know that it's OK, babe.

  794. I know I know. And while you getting dressed,

  795. she quiet she not responding. You OK?

  796. Hey, buddy, I'm not going out tonight.

  797. I I hit you back. But but my wife it it watch

  798. this. It doesn't even mean something's

  799. wrong. And she might be saying go, but

  800. I'm torn in between. Do I ask you to stay like I

  801. don't mind you going. You have my blessing to go, but

  802. if I had it my way, but I also don't want to have to ask you to

  803. stay. I want you to notice that I want

  804. you here. Pay attention guys.

  805. Pay attention. You guys, I'm helping some

  806. fellows out right now. I got some wives here they go.

  807. They husband right now I'll be here.

  808. They're going to be like babe, rewind, rewind this part.

  809. They're going to be riding in the car and act like they've

  810. rewinding it for they self. Hey man, watch this guys look.

  811. But that's how it is with God, Troy, we got to learn as sons

  812. and daughters, when God is like, sure, go ahead, take the

  813. inheritance. Sure, go ahead, start the

  814. church. You got the ability to let it do

  815. it. And if it fails, I got you see,

  816. that's what we forget. God, God, his grace and mercy

  817. can clean up any mess. Maturity says no, no, no, no,

  818. no, no. I the Lord, I don't want the

  819. permission. I want the blessing.

  820. The blessing of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow.

  821. I found out that permission makes sorrow.

  822. Permission got a little sorrow in it.

  823. That's just in faith that never rests will always feel the need

  824. to be in control. Faith that never rests will

  825. always feel the need to be in control.

  826. Now I'm going to give you guys some.

  827. I'm not going to get past James, it looks like tonight because

  828. James got me caught up tonight. But James is not calling us to

  829. bigger and louder faith. He is calling us to undivided

  830. faith. He's calling us to undivided

  831. faith. He's calling us to undivided

  832. faith. He's calling us to undivided

  833. faith. He's calling us to undivided

  834. faith. The test is not about endurance

  835. alone, guys. The test is not about endurance

  836. alone. The test is about whether faith

  837. knows where to stand. Does faith know where to stand?

  838. Watch this. Great faith knows who's in

  839. control again and rest there. We got to get that.

  840. Great faith knows who's in control.

  841. Let them be in control and rest there.

  842. As we land this, we are going to now go backwards to verse 2 to

  843. 4, my brethren. James 1-2.

  844. We read James 16. James 1-2 says count it all joy.

  845. When you fall into various trials.

  846. Watch that. What's that next word?

  847. Come on, one more time, knowing that the testing of your faith

  848. produces patience. Follow me, but let patience have

  849. its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking

  850. nothing. We're going to break that down.

  851. Watch this count it all joy when you fall into the It's not fun

  852. falling into various temptations, but I can count it

  853. all joy because of this keyword right here.

  854. Knowing, knowing this that the testing of your faith produces

  855. what patience. Watch this Count it all joy when

  856. you fall into various trials. Watch this this word count.

  857. It means to lead the mind to govern one's perspective.

  858. To deem esteem and make a deliberate intellectual decision

  859. to regard something in a specific way.

  860. Watch this. Not to passively feel this is to

  861. lead the mind. OK, this reminds me of 2nd

  862. Corinthians 10. Three Somewhere 3 to 5.

  863. Taking every word captive. Lead the mind to the mind of

  864. Christ. Count it is is is like a money

  865. term. It is intentional.

  866. It's not passive. Count it.

  867. All joy. Knowing this, knowing that the

  868. testing of your faith produces patience.

  869. Please watch. Testing means proof.

  870. There is a season where some things have to be proven for me

  871. to move forward. There's things that have to be

  872. verified. There's things that have to be

  873. refined. Watch this.

  874. And our faith has to pass the genuine test.

  875. Is your faith genuine? Well, if your faith is based on

  876. things working for you, it is not genuine.

  877. Look at it, write it down, write it down.

  878. Got to move on. You got that, you got that, you

  879. got that. You got that knowing, testing,

  880. proof count it all joy knowing is that the trying or the

  881. testing of your faith, the testing of your faith produces.

  882. This is going to bless you. This is going to bless you.

  883. Watch it. This is not temptation to make

  884. you fail. The the storm is not to make you

  885. fail. The trial is not to make you

  886. fail. It is examination to reveal the

  887. quality of what is already there.

  888. So count it all joy knowing this, that the the trying of

  889. your faith produces endurance. But I don't get endurance if

  890. where my faith is is not exposed.

  891. So the trial is to expose the truth of the size of your faith.

  892. Cause some folks be talking big faith.

  893. Put them in a storm, put them under pressure.

  894. You know itty bitty itty bitty faith.

  895. Watch this. You ain't been believing, you

  896. just got resources. You just got resources and you

  897. know how to work them. OK, Be assured and understand

  898. that the trial and proving somebody say proving the trial

  899. does this is so important. The trial does not create faith.

  900. It exposes your faith's maturity.

  901. Watch this. The Bible nowhere says the trial

  902. produces faith. Faith comes by hearing and even

  903. if I go through a a trial and I never had an encounter, when I

  904. come out of that trial, I'm going to find myself still a

  905. baby in my faith. That's why you got people year

  906. after year after year after year, still struggling with the

  907. same old. What's this?

  908. The trial does not create faith. Please understand that.

  909. Please get that the trial does not create faith.

  910. This is why it's important during this.

  911. Your posture during the trial is vital.

  912. Don't waste time in a trial and don't come out complete.

  913. Watch what it says. Be assured and understand that

  914. the trial improvement of your faith, the trial does not create

  915. faith that exposes it. Watch this.

  916. It says that proving of your faith brings out endurance.

  917. The proving of your faith brings out endurance.

  918. It produces steadfastness. Watch this.

  919. Remaining under pressure, staying put, not fleeing when

  920. pressed. So on one hand I want to build

  921. my faith, but what's more important to build my faith is

  922. endurance to stay under. Because it's the longer I stay

  923. under, the more I know. Watch this.

  924. It's knowing this, so I can't try to tap out when God is like

  925. I'm giving you grace to stay in. I can't try to go around the

  926. fiery furnace when God said I gave you the grace to go in the

  927. fiery furnace. I can't try to flee the lion's

  928. den when God says I didn't just anoint you to go in the lion's

  929. den. I anointed you to go in the

  930. lion's den and sit down. Come on.

  931. That's a grace right there. I didn't get.

  932. He didn't say go in the lion's den and run around him.

  933. He's like, no, no, he said, go on that lion's den and sit down

  934. and be still and let, let let that let them teeth just come

  935. all over. Go all right in your face.

  936. And you just yeah, watch this. That is powerful because what?

  937. What what God has for me, it is produced through remaining

  938. under, staying put, not fleeing when pressed, but press in.

  939. Some folks want their marriage to get better, but you don't

  940. want to stay under and you don't want to feel pressed.

  941. And this you got to dig. Watch this steadfast and

  942. patience, it's stillness under patience.

  943. So as y'all, so y'all know, this is our first night back.

  944. I'm laying down the foundation. It's probably be the longest

  945. night of preaching that you're going to get for this season of

  946. Bible study. OK, because we, we just so you

  947. know, we going worships going to be a lot shorter, like 10

  948. minutes, Max 8 minutes. So we can stay longer in our

  949. groups. So there'll be a word, but it's

  950. going to be very short. It's really going to be around

  951. us edifying and equipping one another.

  952. So what I'm doing tonight is I'm laying a foundation for whoever

  953. speaks, whoever preaches. We're going to be dealing with

  954. faith for a while. OK, We're going to be dealing

  955. with faith for a while. So I'm laying a foundation to

  956. give whoever's going to be called to speak plenty to pull

  957. from. OK, but this will be a

  958. foundation for like, the next, I don't know, 810 weeks or

  959. something like that. Eight weeks or so.

  960. OK. What time we start Bible study?

  961. 8645? Good.

  962. I got two more hours. All right, cool.

  963. I'm just playing. Y'all.

  964. OK. Jesus Christ.

  965. Oh, my God. Breathe.

  966. Yeah, I got you. I got you.

  967. We doing real good, so he says, but let somebody say let we got

  968. we. No, no, no, that was terrible.

  969. Somebody say let. He said, let endurance and

  970. patience have full play. You got that full play.

  971. Somebody say full play. OK, watch this.

  972. Let requires human cooperation. Let is your part.

  973. Watch this. Patience is doing its part.

  974. So you thought patience was something you do?

  975. It just said let patience have its work.

  976. So there's a stillness that that allows patients to There is no

  977. patience without stillness. Steadfastness matures when we do

  978. not interfere. Steadfastness matures when we do

  979. not interfere. Somebody say full play or the

  980. other word for full play is perfect.

  981. Let patients have it's perfect work.

  982. You got that perfect? Here it is.

  983. It means whole, mature and brought to its intended end.

  984. Did you know that that storm, no matter what it's doing to you,

  985. God has a plan. You just your main job in the

  986. middle of confusion and not knowing what to do.

  987. The one thing you have control of is coming to a settled

  988. decision. Watch this when you know you can

  989. endure, write it down. Sounds simple when you know you

  990. can endure. That's why you got to be careful

  991. what you know in this season. Be OK, man I'm I'm it's some

  992. people I'm just I don't even want to know like I want to know

  993. it'd be good for entertainment, but I don't even want to know

  994. because I I, because my knowing is very important and depending

  995. on what I know, what I know watch this.

  996. What I know can can can be if I know two different things they

  997. can it can it can create a fight within me because wait a minute,

  998. you said that and wait a minute. You said that.

  999. Who's telling the truth? You would have been better off

1000. like and This is why the Bible says I ain't taking nobody's

  1001. side. I'm on God's side.

1002. So I'm not telling you to know and be nosy that this is not be

1003. nosy and know that he God. No, you're not going to be nosy

1004. and know that he God. You're going to know that he God

1005. because you're going to know God perfected is realized when we

1006. allow the play to run. The word complete here means

1007. intact. At the end you will be complete.

1008. There's a plan to have you come out of the fiery furnace intact.

1009. Preach somebody come out of the lion's den Noel intact.

1010. Come out of poverty intact come out of grief intact.

1011. Come out of a tumultuous relationship intact because

1012. somebody praise God for it being intact despite what we've been

1013. through. Come on, I'm, I'm still intact.

1014. I don't look like what I came out of that God has brought me

1015. out intact. I grew up without my father in

1016. my life, but guess what? I'm intact.

1017. You would have never knew what you've been through because you

1018. look so intact. God's promise is that you will

1019. go through this son, you will go through this daughter.

1020. But if you let patience have it's perfect work, you will come

1021. out intact. Somebody say intact, see some of

1022. us come out of storms trashy because we grabbed the steering

1023. wheel. You lost your teeth because you

1024. wanted to be in control. Yeah, if if the if Shadrach,

1025. Meshach and Abednego tried to put things in control, they

1026. would have came out burnt. They would have came out sins.

1027. They would have came out smelling like fire.

1028. If Daniel wouldn't have been still and tried to fight the

1029. lions and then let be God, he would have came out all bit up

1030. if not dead. So how much of your bruises in

1031. your scars is because you took control when God said be still?

  1032. Whoa, self-inflicted. self-inflicted.

1033. But I'm here to tell you, God redeems his plan for you is that

1034. even when you come out of this, you will come out intact.

1035. You will come out undivided with no internal fractures, no

1036. internal fractures. I said no internal fractures.

1037. Some of you, God, my one hair brought you out of a situation

1038. and you are hurt enough. You are damaged enough, but

1039. that's not the end of the story. Now you got to be patient for

1040. him to heal. You got to be patient for him to

1041. redeem. And I promise you, you're going

1042. to come out of this and there will be no internal fractures.

1043. Watch this. That means trauma won't stick.

1044. Come on, that's for somebody. Trauma won't stick.

1045. Trauma won't stick. Come on, declare that over

  1046. yourself. Trauma won't stick.

  1047. Abandonment won't stick. It won't stick.

  1048. It won't stick.

  1049. It won't stick. It won't stick.

1050. It will not stick. I'll leave you with this.

1051. Before God changes circumstances, he stabilizes

  1052. confidence. Before God changes

  1053. circumstances, he stabilizes confidence.

1054. Watch this. The best confidence you can get

1055. is the confidence that was birthed in the situation.

1056. Not confidence because it's over.

1057. I have learned to trust in God. Yeah.

1058. If we had to wait on this building for three more years, I

  1059. I don't know what I'd do. But I can tell you that there's

1060. a confidence within me that waiting has not torn me apart.

1061. I can tell you I've come out of some stuff.

1062. Family members have come out of some stuff, children have come

1063. out of some stuff. And I promise you, unless we

1064. tell the test, that's the power of the testimony.

1065. Elder John, if Bernadette told you what she has been, how she

1066. what she's come out of you, the power of the testimony is not

1067. just the story. It's just I don't look like my

1068. story. Thank God I don't look defeated.

  1069. Thank God I don't look depressed.

1070. Thank God I don't look mentally ill.

1071. You going to tell somebody I didn't have confidence and

1072. they're going to say what? You got all kinds of confidence.

1073. Yeah. That's the power of the

1074. testimony. Because I was blind.

1075. But now I see I was lost. But now I'm found that's the

1076. power to testimony. It's because he kept me intact.

1077. And I want to encourage a few of you.

1078. Just because you fell down, just because you quit some time, just

1079. because you didn't get it right the 10th time.

1080. Watch this. If you hear standing up, you

1081. still got a measure of endurance.

1082. You still here. Come on, you still here, You

1083. still fighting. Come on, you still here, you

1084. still fighting. Come on, tell somebody.

1085. I'm pulling my faith out of retirement.

1086. I'm pulling my faith out of retirement in Jesus name.

1087. I'm pulling my faith out of retirement.

1088. Lot of times we think with God that quitting and all I got to

1089. start over. No, you know, no, no, no, you

1090. just got to get up. Watch prodigal son came home and

  1091. celebrated. Why?

1092. Because he he came back and continue where he left off.

1093. Watch this. He left Rich out there.

1094. He also left broke. You got to hear what I just

  1095. said. He left broke.

1096. I'm going to say it. I'm going to say it two more

1097. times. Still a couple people get it.

1098. He left his house rich. He left the world broke.

1099. He left broke. Came back home.

1100. What was he rich? Some of y'all getting ready to

  1101. leave broke. Leave insecurity.

1102. Leave poverty, Leave brokenness, Leave trauma, Leave mental

1103. illness, Leave depression. And when you come home, you go

1104. be home. We don't serve a father like

1105. that. You come home and he, like you

1106. got to work your way back up. No, no, no, no, no.

1107. No. You going to come back the same

1108. way you left. Your seat was never taken.

1109. You'll watch this. Your name was never erased.

1110. Lord, we lift our hands right now and we say thank you for not

1111. just giving us a seat, but when we got out the seat and

1112. abandoned the seat, you still kept it reserved for us.

1113. We stand here as a knowing people.

1114. We know that you're good. We know that you're faithful.

1115. We know that you're on time. We know that you're ever present

1116. help in time of need. We know that you're the God that

1117. will provide for us. We know you'll never leave us

1118. nor forsake us. We know that you know every hair

1119. on our heads. We know that you have our

1120. household salvation in mind. We know that you're a healer.

1121. We know that you're a provider. We know God that you are Gyra.

1122. We know that you're Rafa. We know that you're the Lord of

1123. the breakthrough. We know that you are the Lord of

1124. hosts, that you will fight our battles.

1125. We know that vengeance is yours. We know that there's more for us

1126. than there's against us. Come on, come on.

  1127. What? You know.

1128. Say it. What do you know?

  1129. I know that you're a mender of marriages.

1130. I know that you can fix the broken hearted.

1131. I know that you watch over us. I know.

1132. I know that you're the Lord of the Pray.

1133. I know that you're the Redeemer. I know you have our children.

1134. I know you have our parents. I know you have our family

1135. members. I know you have our coworkers.

1136. I know you have our cities. We know you have our nation.

1137. We know that you're never sleep nor slumber.

1138. We know that you watch over us. We know that you love us when we

1139. don't want to be loved. We know, We know.

1140. We know that you're strong and mighty.

1141. We know that you're our refuge. We know that you promised us

1142. long life and you'll satisfy us with long life.

1143. We know you know that you're the same God yesterday, today, and

1144. forevermore. We know and we fix our eyes on

1145. you. We know you're the Prince of

  1146. Peace. We know.

1147. Come on. We know what the enemy meant for

1148. evil. You'll turn it around for good.

1149. We know that we're more than conquerors.

1150. We know that we're more than conquerors.

  1151. We know. We know.

1152. We know. We know that there's more for us

1153. than there are against us. We know that when we keep our

1154. eyes on you, you give us perfect peace.

1155. We know. We know you're the God that

1156. healed the leper. You're the God that redeemed the

1157. adulteress. We know that you're the God that

1158. sent your only begotten Son, that whosoever believed in us

1159. should not perish but have everlasting life.

1160. We know. We know you're a generational

1161. God. We know that favor surrounds us

1162. like a shield. We know.

1163. We know that victory is ours. Healing is ours.

1164. Peace is ours. We know, Father, You're the

1165. anchor to our soul. We know you're the Rock of Ages.
