Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International
-
Church podcast, where we seek to love all nations, equip the
-
church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.
-
We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever
-
you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get
-
your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe
-
some tea, and get ready to receive.
-
Let's get into it. So last week we started talking
-
about anybody remember? I know that I know that I know
-
that I know that I know that I know that I know.
-
And so we started talking about faith and then we had was it 2
-
weeks ago? We had Marriage Matters in
-
Sunday, we started Family Matters and then we invited you
-
out because we are going to for the next 7 weeks alongside with
-
Family Matters, we are going to deal with this topic that I have
-
for you, Faith foes and family. The fight for legacy, Faith,
-
foes and family. The fight for Legacy, Faith,
-
foes and family. We'll stay there just for a few
-
seconds. Faith, foes and family.
-
The fight for legacy one last time.
-
Let's say it together. Week 1.
-
We will be dealing with the war you were born into, the war you
-
were born into. If you were watching, I pray you
-
stay tapped in. You don't want to miss what God
-
has for your household tonight. The war you were born into, and
-
some of you might be like what I was born into a war.
-
Every last one of us was born into a war.
-
Genesis 3 says and I will put enmity between you and the
-
woman. I will put enmity between you
-
and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring.
-
He will bruise and tread your head under foot, and you will
-
lie in wait and bruise his heel. Few things I just want you to
-
cling to, and I will put enmity. Somebody say enmity, say between
-
your offspring and her offspring, Say bruise, say
-
tread, and then say bruise again, say head and say heel.
-
Matthew 10 And a man's foes will be they on or of his own
-
household. And a man's foes will be they of
-
his own household. Somebody say family one more
-
time family. And a man's foes will be they of
-
his own household. Psalm 127 Except the Lord builds
-
the house, the labor in they labor in vain who build it.
-
It is say, except Christians built out.
-
No, no, no, except the Lord built the house, they labor in
-
vain who build it. OK, so unless it's the Lord, you
-
labor in vain. I don't care if you got
-
Christian contractors to build your house.
-
I don't care if you married to a Christian, I don't care how much
-
effort and skill you have and resources you have.
-
Except the Lord builds the house.
-
They labour in vain. Somebody say who built it?
-
Personality can't work. It does not matter.
-
I don't care if you live on 80 acres and you got your whole
-
family on it and you got every every piece of material you want
-
inside and out. I don't care how green the grass
-
is. I don't care how much money you
-
got in your savings account. I don't care how many stocks you
-
in. I don't care how much property
-
you own. I don't care how you build your
-
life except the Lord builds your life.
-
They labor in vain who build it. OK, here's a fundament now what
-
I'm about to go through rather it is EJ Eldebra it don't it
-
don't matter. As I was studying, I think it
-
was like a week ago and I was just, you know, in my own little
-
creative brain and you know, I'm like, what's 333 motions?
-
What's 3 lenses or three frames that I can preach through
-
consistently that that guides me.
-
It's not necessarily points I say every time, but also as we
-
are making disciples, we are also in this house going to not
-
only encourage and equip people to write books, we're also going
-
to equip people to preach. Yeah yeah.
-
And and and I think I I wish I had that younger right.
-
But I also, I'm grateful that I figured out a little bit of my,
-
my, my style, my communication style.
-
But it's, it's for sure evolving and there's a lot of areas that
-
I can grow in. And So what I'm about to do
-
tonight is I am about to give you a little framework of how
-
you can look through the messages going forward.
-
OK? So as I prepare, I want to make
-
sure I hit these three areas. And this is how you can listen.
-
And anybody that get on this platform and is going to preach,
-
try and hit these three areas. This is in house, OK?
-
This is in house. This is homegrown.
-
OK, The words aren't new, but the formula is OK.
-
I'm a I'm a present this to you tonight.
-
And then we'll get into some other stuff, but it's really so
-
fundamental frame over the next few weeks as we're looking at
-
this topic specifically, Genesis 3 reveals the war, Matthew 10
-
reveals the proximity of the war and Psalm 127 reveals the only
-
way the war is won. OK, these aren't the lenses but
-
but but these are three things that these are key scriptures
-
for the next 7 weeks. So Genesis reveals the war is
-
very important because Elder John, Elder Brett, whoever we're
-
not, we're not exegeting these three scriptures.
-
We are just reading them. They are keep their key
-
scriptures. Genesis 3 reveals the war.
-
Matthew 10 reveals the proximity of the war, how close it is,
-
where's the epicenter of the war.
-
We read the scripture and it says it's in your house.
-
And in Psalm 127 reveals the only way the war is won.
-
OK, the foe, the family and what faith here it is.
-
This message will be rated M for the rest of the rest of the
-
time. Maturity.
-
Somebody say I got to grow up, I got to hear mature.
-
I got to see mature. So it's rated M and the language
-
is legacy. OK, Legacy.
-
That's what we're talking about is legacy.
-
Somebody shout out legacy, these three lenses, 3 rhythms, they
-
will be done weekly. And this is our drift free
-
focus, faith, foes, family. That's what we're focused on.
-
Now watch this. Here's the three lenses that we
-
will work through #1 is we will expose #2 we will equip and #3
-
we will excite everybody. Want to get excited?
-
OK, so we will start off exposing, we will equip you and
-
we will excite you. OK, Just so you understand, when
-
we expose, it is to to expose is to bring into the light what has
-
been influencing in the dark. To expose is to bring into the
-
light what has been influencing in the dark.
-
I would not do this on a Sunday. OK, But this is Bible study and
-
we just going a little deeper and we're equipping you right
-
now. So to expose is to bring into
-
light what has been influencing in the dark.
-
Got that? We name when we expose, we name
-
the real enemy. We identify false narratives and
-
we uncover spiritual patterns, watch it, that have quietly
-
shaped our homes. A lot of times people need
-
breaks because they're unarmed. If you knew how to fight, if you
-
had some exposure, if you knew what was wrecking your home, you
-
knew what was wrecking your mind, you knew what was causing
-
this thing, you would be able to keep going.
-
So we want to expose when it's quietly shaped our homes.
-
You cannot defeat what you refuse to identify.
-
Are you with me? You cannot defeat what you
-
refuse to identify. Exposure.
-
Here it is. Exposure is not condemnation,
-
it's clarity. Watch this.
-
A lot of people get clear about things and then make decision
-
versus get clear so you can fight.
-
Get clear. So now we can make it through
-
watch. There's a lot of arguments that
-
happen in relationships come from a lack of what clarity.
-
We don't even know what we want the outcome to be.
-
We just arguing. We know I want to be right and I
-
want to make sure you know you wrong #2 equip.
-
Somebody say equip. To equip is to supply what is
-
necessary to win. So when we are equipping, we are
-
supplying you with the necessities to win the keys to
-
win. It is instruction and it is
-
formation. It is instruction and it is
-
formation to equip. We leave with tools.
-
It is our job to to to set you up, leaving with tools, biblical
-
understanding, spiritual posture, and practical handles.
-
I'd say people don't know. We do a lot of work to try and
-
set you up to do the Lord's will as you decide to ship.
-
OK, here it is right here. You don't need no wisdom.
-
Here you go. If exposure reveals the war,
-
equipping teaches us how to fight correctly.
-
Somebody say correctly, anybody can fight, but you ain't always
-
fighting correctly. Watch this because many families
-
are fighting hard but fighting wrong.
-
People go to their graves fighting hard with Smith all
-
they like, fighting wrong because they weren't not
-
equipped, nor was the Bloodline stronghold exposed.
-
And then lastly, we want to excite, to excite us.
-
To awaken courage and restore expectation cares not to get you
-
goosebumps. It is to awaken courage and
-
restore expectation. It is to arouse you to action.
-
You got that? It is to arouse you to action,
-
to awaken courage and restore expectation.
-
To excite is to excite. Excite does not mean emotional
-
hype. It means prophetic ignition.
-
Am I talking this side with me? This side, West side?
-
OK, it is. It is prophetic ignition.
-
We remember who we are. We remember what God promised
-
and we remember how this ends. That's what it means to excite
-
is we remember. We walk out of here remembering
-
Sunday. We walked out of here
-
remembering what God intended for my family.
-
Now I don't know if you held on to it all week, but it was given
-
to you. Excitement is confidence in
-
covenant. We want to get you excited about
-
covenant. So weekly will will number one.
-
What number two, number three, number one, number two, number
-
three, one more time #1 #2 #3 this is our drift free focus.
-
Here we go. Expose.
-
We were born into a war. It was not a political war.
-
It was not a cultural war. Watch this.
-
We were born into a generational war.
-
Wrap your mind around that. I want you to go all the way
-
back to the slide, the first slide, cover slide.
-
I don't know who saw it, but I'm going to see if you can see it.
-
But but but he's not he's not just he's not just a snake.
-
What's he going after? Yeah.
-
All you parents see that picture, and all you people
-
about your city and your country see that picture.
-
It is a generational war. If there were no promise
-
attached to your life, there would be no resistance around
-
your life, man. I'm telling you, man, get in the
-
house on a Wednesday. What are we doing?
-
If there were no promise attached to my life, there would
-
be no resistance around my life. The fact that there is
-
resistance around my life, the fact that there is resistance
-
trying to slow me down, the lack, the lack of acceptance
-
speaks to there is something on my life that the enemy does not
-
want to see manifest. Why?
-
Because the promise manifesting has generational impact.
-
The war is generational, so stop taking it personal and take it
-
generational. The enemy does not fight what
-
has no future. You at home, you, you at home.
-
The enemy does not fight what does not have a future.
-
If you are experiencing warfare, if you are experiencing
-
resistance, guess what that means?
-
You have a future and that future has an expected end.
-
The enemy does not fight what has no future.
-
So Psalm 127 was telling us. Watch it, because unless the
-
Lord builds the house, the enemy will attempt to shape the house.
-
So you can't shake what your Mama gave you if it ain't what
-
God gave her. Unless the Lord builds the
-
house, the enemy will attempt to shape the house.
-
Unless the Lord governs the house, conflict will define the
-
house, confusion will overwhelm the house, and anxiety will
-
drive the house. Unless the Lord builds the
-
house. Unless the Lord anchors the
-
house, legacy will fracture the house.
-
Genesis 3 Remember? And I will put enmity between
-
you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed.
-
He shall fatally bruise your head, your head, and you shall
-
only bruise His heel. Watch this.
-
Watch this The serpent does not attack Adam's job.
-
He does not attack their garden productivity or their
-
fruitfulness. He attacks their order.
-
Pay attention. He attacks their order.
-
He attacks their order. Watch this.
-
He speaks to the woman. He does not speak to Adam.
-
He bypasses the man. He's an Eve's ear.
-
He distorts God's word. Watch this.
-
And he plans suspicion about God's goodness, or he plans
-
suspicion about God's word, or he plans suspicion about God's
-
plan. Or he plans suspicion about
-
God's ordained order in your life.
-
He plans suspicion about the oil and call on your life.
-
Husbands, watch this. The enemy don't go to the
-
family, he goes to the weakest 1.
-
So you see a husband and a wife and one of them are fainting.
-
Guess who he going to? He going to get in that faint at
-
one's ear. He going to get in that
-
husband's ear if the husband is fainting and he going to try to
-
use the husband to steer or hold back or resist.
-
Watch this because the foe is in the house, the foe is in the
-
bloodline, the foe is in the family.
-
And if, if the husband and wife is strong, guess what, there's
-
going to be a grand Mama, a grand Papa or somebody that
-
ain't rooted that somebody that's doing their own thing.
-
And then they're going to get on the phone with you and they're
-
going, I don't know if you're doing what God told you to do.
-
I don't know if you're doing this right.
-
I don't know. You got to get in somebody's
-
ear. Watch this.
-
That really means something to you.
-
That's why you got to be very careful.
-
Who you allow to have weight with their words in your life.
-
Watch this. Everybody that you love should
-
not carry the same weight in your life.
-
Yeah. Thank you for wisdom tonight,
-
Lord. Thank you for exposure tonight,
-
Lord. Thank you for equipping us
-
tonight. Lord.
-
God, our dumb days are over. Our blind days are over.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah. The enemy taking advantage our
-
families. It's over.
-
In the name of Jesus. You are an exposed foe.
-
In the name of Jesus. Watch this.
-
This is a demonstration of targeted disruption.
-
This is not an accident. He is targeting disruption of
-
the blessing of the family structure.
-
He's attacking the order so you can see it all through the
-
world. He is fighting in women's hearts
-
and ears. You don't need a man or no.
-
We equal, yes, sure we're equal, but in God's Kingdom, God has
-
given an ordained order, and the man is the priest of the house.
-
Both submit to one another, but there is a priestly call that
-
that husband has. Oh, man.
-
But what the enemy want to do in the church and in the culture is
-
make it seem like a man that is standing in the order of his
-
house. He's trying to take advantage.
-
So then there's control issues, there is hurt.
-
So watch this. The Kingdom order has no power
-
in a home where the family order and structure has been broken.
-
So then I marry someone and then adultery is in the family and
-
the father left the house and the father don't honor the Mama,
-
and the Mama don't honor. So then I grow up and I'm going
-
to make sure he don't do me like that.
-
So now I'm a Christian, but the enemy has all watch this three
-
generations back. The enemy has trumped the order
-
or a way to control the women. You see it a lot in tradition,
-
in some cultures and ethnicities.
-
But what does the word of God say?
-
Here we go. Watch this.
-
The enemy's always whispering in somebody's house.
-
Let me tell you here, it is enmity.
-
Let's hear this word. Enmity, enmity.
-
Somebody say enmity. It is a state of deep rooted,
-
active and often mutual hatred, hostility, bloodline conflict
-
and ill willed disposition rather than a passing feeling or
-
dislike. This is not a little bit of beef
-
and we're like ah, we're good, you OK, we're good.
-
No, no, no, no. This is a lifelong attention.
-
Watch it. This is a lifelong attention and
-
commitment to your destruction. This is sustained antagonism.
-
Guys, I don't want to lead a point.
-
I don't. I don't.
-
I don't really want to lead a point.
-
This was in the, this was in the guard.
-
This was in the beginning, people forget until Jesus
-
returned. This is a war no one can escape
-
and we just out here doing family and we just out here
-
doing marriage. This is why these are some
-
things that got to get taken care of before we get to the
-
altar, right? Because the watch this, the less
-
the less footholds I can bring into my marriage, the less
-
access the enemy got. We ain't in a rush.
-
If I'm trying to marry you forever, I'm not rushing for us
-
to take extra year, extra 2 years to deal with so you can
-
deal with your trauma without putting me in your gaps.
-
Like like I'm not marrying you and I know you've made me your
-
savior. That's dangerous because I'm
-
going to, I'm going to disappoint you.
-
Talk to His Holy Spirit, talk to His Holy Spirit.
-
Watch this. I want y'all to see this.
-
In the beginning there will be enmity amongst you.
-
Watch this. The devil did not declare this
-
war. God declared this war.
-
So watch this. This household enmity is God
-
ordained. So if that enmity is God
-
ordained, I better maybe let God expose who I'm supposed to make
-
a family with because it's promised war in our house.
-
So watch this, if somebody promises you there's going to be
-
a war in your house, shouldn't you find someone you don't got
-
to fight against? Shouldn't you marry somebody
-
that's going to have the same weapons as you got?
-
So here it is. This is a promised war declared
-
by God. And guess what?
-
He is not a man that he shall lie.
-
So guess what you can expect in your family?
-
War. Is there anybody here that have
-
not seen war in a household? And we've just settled it just
-
kind of like, but that's just what family do.
-
Why? Because there's something, why
-
did God declare this? Because in that disobedience, in
-
that fall, there is something greater in the garden at stake.
-
You guys, this wasn't about a stake.
-
This was about what was at stake, what was at stake.
-
Noel was a seed and a lineage was at stake.
-
Watch this. The serpent aims at the woman
-
because the promise will come through her.
-
The war was about offspring. Hear us, guys.
-
The war is about seed. The war is about seed.
-
Watch this, watch this. This going to bless a few people
-
but this might be but members rated M This why you can't be
-
sleeping with anybody. You don't want they seed to hit
-
your womb. Come on guys, this is war.
-
So this watch this. This is the way the enemy can
-
interrupt your bloodline by getting a seed in your womb that
-
you now got to give birth to. And now whatever is on that side
-
of the family, you have entered into your family.
-
So now we got to work against this joker that, that, that they
-
just, you know how, how you get here, buddy?
-
We was on our way. So this is what parents got to
-
do. You got to be committed to to to
-
to not be your your kids friends and fight for what you have
-
worked so hard to turn around. Like do you know the work that
-
Troy? Do you know the work that hero
-
has done? Do you know the work that
-
they've done to get addiction out their bloodline?
-
And here you go marrying A crackhead.
-
Come on, come on. So if the intro, if you did the
-
work to get it out, all God got to do is get one of y'all to
-
date somebody that bring it back.
-
Talk to me. Somebody come on.
-
Somebody say he exposed now come on, Somebody say it's too late.
-
Somebody say it's too late. It's too late.
-
The enemy fights families because families carry promise.
-
He fights marriages because marriages produce legacy.
-
And he fights children because children extend the covenant.
-
Man, man, I've been helping somebody swaying kids.
-
You carry the legacy. It's why he fighting you.
-
You carry the legacy. And he's fighting marriages
-
because marriages produce legacy.
-
And he's fighting families because families carry the
-
promise. So if you are just so happen to
-
be blessed to grab a hold of the promise and restore it in your
-
bloodline in your lifetime, you got to hold on to that because
-
the enemy may have had a grip on your bloodline for centuries,
-
but you are the one that have the promise in your hand.
-
And God's like, now we can do something with that.
-
Let's do it. Some stuff, just watch this.
-
Just like the children of Israel had to die off and couldn't go
-
into the promised land, except the young ones.
-
Sometimes the stuff that you experiencing that happened bad
-
in your family, God's like, I just got to let that die off.
-
I'm gonna restore. I know you're grieving because
-
they died. I know you're grieving because
-
they got sick. I know you're grieving because
-
you lost them. But I had to let it die off
-
because I'm about to do a new thing through you.
-
What's this? His redemption plan.
-
It may hurt us, but he got a plan for those children.
-
He got a plan for your grandmama, your great grandma.
-
He got a plan for whatever, but I had to let it die so the new
-
thing can go on the promise. I love it.
-
Watch this guys. You might not like it, but I
-
love it. Matthew 10.
-
Don't think I've come to make it life cozy.
-
This is guess who's talking right here.
-
Jesus. So Jesus is reiterating sick
-
Genesis 3. Don't think I've come to make
-
life cozy. I've come to cut and make a
-
sharp knife cut between son and father, daughter and mother,
-
bride and mother-in-law, cut through these cozy domestic
-
arrangements and free you for God.
-
I'm shaking it up to free you for God.
-
Watch this well meaning family. Well meaning not well meaning
-
family, not like family that mean well.
-
No no no no. Well pause.
-
Meaning family members can be your worst enemy.
-
Somebody say Amen. If you prefer father or mother
-
over me, you don't deserve me. And if you prefer son or
-
daughter over me, you don't deserve me.
-
This is Jesus. Watch this revealing allegiance
-
conflict. He is exposing parents, he's
-
exposing spouses. And he's like, look, if you want
-
the blessing to rest on your house, I gotta always remain
-
Lord you. You not about to turn your
-
household into a idol. I'm coming to shake all that up.
-
You want to want you want to know why she get on your nerves?
-
Because I let her see. I'm shaking it up, boy, because
-
you it's keeping you on your knees how crazy she is.
-
I couldn't have shake it up. You like God, God, he like Nope,
-
Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope.
-
First of all, you chose her, but second of I came to cut.
-
No, no, he, he is disrupting comfort.
-
Guys, watch this. When faith this is this so far.
-
When faith enters a house, neutrality or neutrality leaves
-
the house. When somebody in the household
-
decide to obey God, then everybody, the allegiance is
-
exposed. So if you're a husband or a wife
-
and you like I'm going to follow Jesus, I'm going to say yes to
-
my call. I don't care if you double
-
minded, but I'm not going to be held back.
-
The moment you make your mind up, everything gets shook up in
-
the house. Everything gets shook up in the
-
house and that's watch this. Your obedience is the knife that
-
cuts. Why are you serving so much now?
-
You didn't used to. You was fine when we used to
-
hang out and sleep in and not do that.
-
You was fun when we just streamed.
-
You was fun when we Yeah, yeah, yeah.
-
You've made a decision to obey your convictions and that has
-
now cut between you and wifey or you and husband or you and
-
children. They ain't supposed to
-
understand. That's the knife, but you got
-
way too many spouses holding themselves back because they
-
want to keep things chill. Have you ever heard of divine
-
disruption? No, no, no, no.
-
Obedience disrupts neutrality, disrupts comfort.
-
Watch this. Authority shifts.
-
Authority shifts always expose allegiance.
-
Authority shifts. It's it's the moment you say yes
-
to God, authority shifts. You're no longer bait for the
-
before Satan. You're no longer the one that's
-
procrastinating on call. You're no longer allowing
-
yourselves to waiver and be like, let me tell you something.
-
I shared this before, man, I love hanging out with my wife,
-
love it when she's gone. There are certain things within
-
call and purpose that I'm able to do.
-
I prefer to have her here though.
-
But but but but there's a certain things that that some
-
couples they aren't even walking in because they they too busy
-
cuddling or they too busy trying to make sure that the the spouse
-
don't get insecure because you don't know what you called to
-
do, but I do. That's not my fault.
-
But if you let me do what I'm called to do, maybe you'll call
-
it get clear. So then there's manipulation and
-
there's all these different things because the enemy's in
-
somebody's ear. Watch this.
-
Your obedience allows the enemy to go in that insecure person's
-
ear and say, see, look, you don't even know what you called
-
to do. And now you got jealousy in the
-
house. That's the knife.
-
Somebody say, Dang, sometime the greatest resistance to your
-
obedience will not come from strangers.
-
It will come from familiarity. Watch this family errity that's
-
been there for decades, guys. Family errity that's been there
-
forever. That ain't new.
-
I didn't tweet the word. That's just what it is.
-
Family errity. Watch this.
-
Sometimes the greatest resistance to your obedience
-
will not come from strangers. Watch this.
-
Sometimes there's wolves in sheep clothing in your own
-
house. I know my wife ain't no wolf.
-
I didn't check under everything. I'm I'm.
-
I didn't. Hallelujah.
-
She is. She is.
-
She is on my side. We've had our battles.
-
We've had our time. I've also learned how to pace.
-
But then there came a time where she's just like, do your thing,
-
man. You got to do your thing.
-
Like that's best for the family, that's best for the household.
-
Watch this. It don't matter if I'm home if
-
I'm out of order, fellas, you're not protecting your house when
-
you're not in God's. You're not doing what God's
-
called you to do, Sorry. So sometime people want to stay
-
comfy and cozy, but you got to know what's best.
-
OK, watch this because it ain't no complaints with you out when
-
you're out there making money. Can we keep it real?
-
Well, less low, less low, less low, less like pad or something
-
like that. There, there's no complaints
-
when you bring in the bacon home.
-
It might be like, I don't want you to go to work today, but you
-
need to, right? But it got to be that way about
-
call too. Nah, but you actually need to
-
because there's a generational war.
-
Understand. Watch this.
-
It will come from familiarity because when you break cycles,
-
you disrupt comfort. When you break cycles, you
-
disrupt comfort. You got that.
-
When you break cycles, you disrupt comfort.
-
Somebody say, hey man, some of the tension in your family is
-
not proof of failure. It is proof that something is
-
shifting. Watch this something, it don't
-
feel good, but something is shifting.
-
Watch this, somebody in the house is finally awakening.
-
Somebody is close to obedience, so something is shifting.
-
Somebody say shifting because when you break cycles, you
-
disrupt stagnation. This is what the war is about.
-
Some of the resistance around your calling is not rejection.
-
Watch this. It is reaction, Troy.
-
It is reaction. It's not rejection.
-
It's reaction. The enemy is reacting to your
-
progress. Watch this.
-
The enemy is reacting to you taking territory back.
-
The enemy is reacting to you. Find somebody in the bloodline.
-
Find. Oh, they're getting this thing
-
right, Noel. Here's what The enemy is
-
threatened. The enemy is not threatened so
-
much about now. He's threatened about the seeds
-
to come. It's not rejection, it's
-
reaction. The enemy does not attack.
-
Watch this. The enemy does not attack what
-
he already owns. That's why some people that that
-
is not the devil, he just got them on.
-
He just got them on cycle. They that is not the devil,
-
that's them. They just stuck in the cycle.
-
The enemy does not attack what he already owns.
-
Here it is. Faith is how we fight.
-
Now we're on to somebody. Say equip.
-
Somebody say equip. Now you got this.
-
We have exposed the war. OK.
-
We have exposed the war. The war is exposed.
-
Now let's equip. Faith is how we fight the right
-
battle. Faith is how we fight the right
-
battle. Here it is because many
-
believers fight the wrong enemy. That's why we on social media,
-
fighting each other. Enemy loves sitting back,
-
watching all that confusion, loving us, tearing each other
-
down, loving us, rejecting each other, loving, persecuting us.
-
No, no, no, no, we are fighting the wrong enemy.
-
Here it is. Your spouse is not your enemy,
-
your children are not is not your enemy, and your in laws is
-
not your enemy. Watch this, for we do not
-
wrestle against flesh and blood. Here it is.
-
Here's what he's hoping. If we misidentify the foe, we
-
fracture the family, because faith reorients the fight.
-
If we misidentify the foe, we fracture the family.
-
It's why some marriages can't get right, because you're
-
misidentifying the foe. It's not him, it's not her.
-
Watch this. You marry someone that had an
-
assigned demon. Watch this had enmity assigned
-
before you even married them. So now you marry them buddy.
-
Now you got to do what you got to do to find out what was the
-
enemy assigned to your spouse. You see you see what I'm saying
-
You got so much to fight for before you go join another
-
family Come on. If you with your spouse say
-
y'all know your family crazy say your family crazy, but she's
-
like don't you say that to me? She's like, all right, look,
-
look, look, no, no, no, no guys, but have you have when's the
-
last time you went around your spouse's family or your friend's
-
family and you prayed and was like, Lord revealed to me as the
-
priest of my house. What, what, what is this about?
-
Watch this. You ready for this?
-
Because your in laws is in your kids sometime.
-
I'm like, yeah, that wasn't me and PJ.
-
That was Nana. Well, that that was Uncle Willy
-
right there. That was Uncle Willy right
-
there. I don't know where that guy, I
-
don't know where that came from. Watch this.
-
But you watch this. But you think everything,
-
everything evolves around your address.
-
And This is why the enemy don't want you cool with your in laws
-
because you never get to know him that way.
-
Watch this. Your in laws is in your kids.
-
Watch this. And some of them demons hiding
-
for them and waiting for the next generation.
-
Watch this. Did you get the scripture until
-
Jesus returned? There's enmity, which means the
-
devil got all day. So I may have exposed.
-
This is why I got to get the sip out of my bloodline, because the
-
sip to the next generation can turn in to the gallant because
-
the enemy, the Bible showed me the enemy.
-
When Jesus resisted him three times, the Bible said, and the
-
enemy went away. Watch this, He didn't leave.
-
He wasn't destroyed. He waited for another
-
opportunity and sometimes here it is.
-
The opportunity may not come until you dead, but what you
-
passed on to your children, now that's the opportunity.
-
Yes, talk to them. PT Faith means I refuse to let
-
the serpent narrate my household.
-
That's what faith means. I refuse to let the enemy
-
narrate my household. Narrate.
-
Like create a narrative about my spouse, Create a narrative about
-
my children. Create a narrative about our
-
call. Create a narrative about our
-
finances. Create a narrative.
-
I refuse. Come on, You got to make that
-
decision tonight. I refuse to let the enemy
-
narrate my household. Watch this.
-
You might watch this. Everybody do it.
-
Have you ever got a text message and you had the voice that they
-
meant and they said it in watch this How you hear a person
-
determines how you read that text message.
-
I I I thank God, I thank God I've learned my lesson.
-
I thank God that there is voice memos.
-
Now I think I'm going to type shorter and talk longer so you
-
can actually hear. That's wisdom.
-
You can hear because depending on know who you texting to
-
because when they read it, watch this, the enemy might be
-
narrating that text message. Come on, I'm talking.
-
I'm trying to help somebody because you got more people
-
offended about what they heard you say and they ain't heard you
-
say it. This is how real narration is.
-
Have you ever been talking to somebody?
-
You and you and they face you with them and then they repeat
-
back to you a bunch of stuff you did not say?
-
You you driving me crazy because now I got to remember what I
-
said because you about to repeat something crazy back to me.
-
So I got to be my own lawyer when I talk to you.
-
Right. And then who's going to say?
-
Yeah, you. So now you're arguing.
-
You did say that. No, I didn't say that.
-
You did say that. I know exactly what you said.
-
Well, I know exactly what I said, what I say.
-
And then they tell you what they said.
-
And you know you didn't say that.
-
But who's my witness? I need a witness in this house.
-
Oh my God. I'm telling you guys, I'm done.
-
Adam, watch this. Watch this.
-
Adam was silent in Genesis 3. Silence.
-
Surrendered ground. Here it is.
-
Faith speaks, guards and governs.
-
Faith speaks, guards and governs.
-
Here it is. Faith speaks, guards and
-
governs. Watch this.
-
Here's some practical equipment. Points for you.
-
Please, please, I beg you. Take them.
-
Guard the word in your house. The serpent distorted one
-
sentence and destabilized a family.
-
He distorted one sentence. Elder John, he distorted one
-
sentence Revere's he he, he, he distorted one sentence, guys,
-
one sentence. He tried to do it with Jesus.
-
He got over with Adam and Eve. He tried to do it with Jesus.
-
Jesus said nothing. No, no, buddy, I know my word.
-
That's inaccurate and I must speak up about it.
-
That's not what God said. So you're not about to get man
-
should not live about the Nope, I'm not about we're not going to
-
test God. Nope, that's not what Psalm 91
-
said #2 protect order. Do not let culture watch this.
-
A husband and a wife should submit to one another.
-
They should serve one another. This is not what we're saying.
-
The wife ain't the person that got to go do this and they got
-
to do that. If that's a if, that's a if
-
that's an order in your house where the wife cooked most of
-
the time. And then that's, that's
-
something, that's an agreement. That's a cultural thing.
-
But when we're talking about winning a war, a generation of
-
war protect Kingdom order in your house and it's not woman.
-
I'm the man. No, no, that's that's not even
-
protecting the order. That's ignorance, right?
-
That's a fight right there. OK, we're not doing that.
-
First of all, you got to you got to protect order by living in
-
order and obeying God. Protect order.
-
Watch this. I gained trust with my wife by
-
although it was scary sometimes I obey God and then I might have
-
missed it and then I got back up and I obeyed God.
-
Watch this. My failure in trying to pursue
-
God did not deter me from trying to follow God again.
-
I will not surrender my effort to following God.
-
I have to follow God. I have to, I have to.
-
I don't care how foolish it is. I have to.
-
And if I really, really feel, babe, I feel like God.
-
And there's things my wife would be like, no, OK, we're not doing
-
that then, right? If it's just like, babe, we
-
should put this flyer out tomorrow.
-
No, I'm not about to say that. Well, God told me to put the
-
flyer out. God don't want us arguing over
-
no flour. I mean, no flyer like no, no,
-
no, no, you got to. But but, but, but if it's
-
something that got to do with eternity, that got to do with
-
some war stuff. And, and I'm and nine times out
-
of 10, he's already working hard.
-
She's like, but watch this. I'm all so careful with how much
-
I use. God said sometimes I'm just
-
like, no, I'm saying that I don't know.
-
I think I'm a son of God. I think he's, I think he's, he's
-
saying, he's saying it's cool to do.
-
I've learned how to do that too. This is me.
-
This ain't God didn't pray about this, didn't have to pray about
-
it. I'm made in this image.
-
I I have the ability, I'm gifted.
-
I'm telling it, I'm annoying it. And and this is how me and God
-
walk. He's like, like, like, like your
-
kids don't have to ask to take out the toys in the room.
-
They got to ask to go down the street, but they don't got to
-
ask to go in the fridge sometime.
-
The kids, if they got a sugar problem, you got to keep coach
-
tabs on them, right? I, I, yeah, you can tell me or
-
they got an iPad issue and they say, hey, just ask for the iPad.
-
Just so I know you on the iPad, but there's some stuff as sons
-
and daughters, you don't it, it's not about getting
-
permission or fasting or praying about it.
-
It's big man, your son, your daughter.
-
At some point you supposed to walk in your father's image and,
-
and, and you, you, you move, you go right, You're being led by
-
the spirit. Get out the boat, Peter.
-
That's what you want to do. Go and get out the boat there.
-
Yep, Yep. You could've get, come on buddy,
-
let's get back in the water #3 I think that, sorry, I think this
-
paralyzes people so much. There's people that got to pray
-
about every single thing. Man, I wonder, I wonder if I
-
should. OK, can you, you go, you go buy
-
some buy outfit. You put.
-
Can you hold this for me? I got to pray about it now.
-
You don't got to pray about the outfit.
-
It's first of all, if you can't fit it, you shouldn't get it.
-
Ain't got to pray everybody ain't got to fast.
-
It'll come back or something better will come back.
-
OK, but but but some stuff is not about praying about it.
-
Some here's the here is the liberty of living in God's will.
-
It eliminates the temptation to do things that's out his will.
-
It minimize how much you are tempted to go this way and that
-
way because I'm anchored in his will.
-
So I'm my life is just like that.
-
Nah, that there's no peace. So it let peace root.
-
Nah, I don't even want it. But you got to spend that season
-
to let God taste change your change your taste buds.
-
OK #3 discern the real enemy. Bitterness between family
-
members is often misdirected warfare.
-
Please hear me. Please hear me clear that up.
-
Bitterness between family members is often misdirected
-
warfare. What should we really be
-
fighting about, babe? What's really the issue?
-
The issue is your family jacked up and you mad at me.
-
No, don't say that. Don't say that fellas.
-
I will never say that tomorrow, tomorrow.
-
But the point is sometimes watch this, sometime we bring in our
-
insecurities that the, the stuff we inherited, we bring it into
-
our family and we never deal with it.
-
And watch. This is the family you create.
-
I got to hurry up #4 pray generationally.
-
Pray generationally, right? This is wisdom, guys.
-
We just praying about now we sow, we sow now, Lord, I need a
-
job. Lord, I need a house.
-
Lord, I need more money. And he's like, are you kidding
-
me? If you pray generationally, I'm
-
involved in that. I'm Abraham Isaac Jagger.
-
I got a generational plan. You're fighting a generational
-
demon. I have a plan and you worried
-
about rent today, you worried about jobs tomorrow, You worried
-
about moving somewhere, You worried about what church.
-
You worried about all these things.
-
You are not thinking generationally.
-
You're selfish. Pray generationally because you
-
are not just raising children, you are you are stewarding
-
lineage. Come on, say this with me.
-
Faith fights forward, the conflict stops with me.
-
Come on, faith says the conflict stops with me, the psycho stops
-
with me, and the compromises stop with me.
-
Look at Romans 16, take a picture of it, and the God of
-
peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.
-
I want you all to see the language change.
-
The seed has already come. Jesus Christ.
-
We're in this church. He's the head, we're the body.
-
Look at the language and the God of peace will soon crush Satan
-
under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus
-
Christ be with you. Here it is.
-
This is what you get excited about.
-
This is what you get excited about.
-
You ready to get excited? The promise is greater than the
-
pressure. Watch this, watch this, watch
-
this. Genesis 315 is not just a
-
declaration of war. It is the first whisper of
-
victory. Go back and read it.
-
And he said, watch this. I need y'all to see this.
-
I need y'all to see this very clearly.
-
He said the devil will strike the seed with his heel.
-
He will bruise his heel. Got that?
-
He will bruise his heel. A bruise is not destruction, but
-
He said that the seed will crush your head.
-
Y'all see that? Y'all see that?
-
Y'all see that because of the fall, there's bruise here.
-
Here's what Jesus says. Hallelujah, Holy Spirit, Here,
-
here, here it is. Why does he said he come to heal
-
the bruised? We only get a bruise.
-
The enemy is crushed. He said his head is under our
-
feet. He say he is crushed.
-
He is a crushed foe. So Genesis 315, although God
-
declared war, he also declared victory.
-
He said he going to bruise and tread your head and you will lie
-
and wait and you just going to bruise his heel.
-
He's going to bruise his heel, but him he going to crush you
-
and he going to crush you at the head.
-
You want to talk about why David had to cut the head off?
-
Prophetic. So guys, the victory is ours.
-
We just got to steward what God has given us because all of his
-
promises are yes and Amen. And it is not fair to our
-
children that we do not obey God.
-
We do not go a fall in line and we do not have eyes to see, ears
-
to hear. And we don't just stand like
-
stand, stand, stand, stop wavering, stand somebody shout
-
out, stand. Give God some praise in.
-
Come on, if you receive the Word tonight, give God some praise.
-
Enemy might mess with you tomorrow, but he messing with
-
you smarter. He messing with you smarter.
-
Look at your neighbors. Say you smarter now.
-
Look at somebody else. Say you wiser now.
-
Come on, Say you got keys. I hear all them keys you got in
-
your pocket. Yeah, you got keys now the enemy
-
is exposed. I am equipped.
-
And I am leaving here excited because victory is mines.
-
Come on, lift your hands right where you are.
-
Lord, we thank you for your word.
-
Yeah. We thank you for restoring our
-
families, our bloodlines. Lord God, we declare you're
-
doing a new thing. Lord God, you're doing something
-
so new. Tradition can't hold on to it.
-
Tradition has to bow down to the new thing.
-
Yeah. Lord, we thank you for bringing
-
us in the family you brought us in.
-
We thank you for bringing us out of the family mess.
-
Lord, I'm more wise because I I had a family mess.
-
I am stronger because I had family mess.
-
I made it out. I can tell you this family mess
-
did not kill me. The family mess did not kill me,
-
but it has shaped me. But it will not form my future.
-
I thank you Lord, that You're the God that is working
-
everything together for our good.
-
There is no wasted years. Yes, yes, yes.
-
There is no wasted years. There is no wasted seasons.
-
There are no wasted events in my life.
-
Lord, put it all in the bowl and mix it up.
-
Tell your neighbor he mixing it up.
-
In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen, Elder Brett.
