  1. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International

  2. Church podcast, where we seek to love all nations, equip the

  3. church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.

  4. We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever

  5. you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get

  6. your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe

  7. some tea, and get ready to receive.

  8. Let's get into it. To pray is the language of

  9. family. We're talking to a father, not

  10. an angry God, but a father. A father.

  11. So today we say our Father. Your sons and daughters are home

  12. at your feet, and we say, Father, speak.

  13. Speak to your children and wherever your Holy Spirit

  14. corrects us, we counted as love because the Father realigns

  15. those that He love. When we hear correct, we hear

  16. reprimand. I'm here to change your

  17. vocabulary. When God corrects, He realigns.

  18. And what I've come to find out is God does it very gently.

  19. He doesn't force, and if God ever has to force, it's not how

  20. we force, but it's because it's, it's so urgent, it's last

  21. minute. It's you've waited too long,

  22. it's now. And because he loves you so

  23. much, it's like a child getting ready to get hit by a car.

  24. I can go. I can only call your name so

  25. many times. And it comes to a point where I

  26. just realized you don't hear me. So if I want you to live, I'm

  27. going to have to snatch you. And by the grace and mercy of

  28. God, sometimes he will snatch us, not because he's angry,

  29. because he's invested. There's a word out on your life.

  30. There's a hit out on your life. It's called the good news.

  31. And I think when you begin to talk about restoring family,

  32. heaven moves in a in a certain way.

  33. The devil doesn't want us to correct the ungodly patterns in

  34. our bloodline love when we remain victims or we keep it

  35. swept under the rug. But today somebody say today the

  36. word has come to Get Me Out. Yeah.

  37. Today's message or whatever we we can get to is we started a

  38. few weeks ago on a series called Family Matters.

  39. And I don't know about you, but it's really, really helping me

  40. and blessing me. And last week we talked about

  41. from the subject, it ain't my fault.

  42. And man, I wish I could review. I wish I could remember some of

  43. the things we talked about this morning.

  44. I beg you to go listen this week to this morning I shared from a

  45. place of vulnerability because I believe for God to really do

  46. some significant stuff in our bloodline, we're going to have

  47. to be vulnerable. We're going to have to take some

  48. responsibility. And there's so many of you in

  49. here. You just caught up on working

  50. and trying to pay the bills and getting through day-to-day life.

  51. And before you know it, you old you heading to your grave and

  52. you look back and there's a generation with undealt with

  53. patterns that you had a turn to grab your family by the hands

  54. and and get them out of your bloodline.

  55. I'm glad to say that my family and that we are determined the

  56. greatest inheritance we will leave our kids is that of a new

  57. clear and it's almost like Jesus.

  58. He said I didn't come to do away with the with the law came to

  59. complete it. I'm not coming to do away with

  60. all that my grandmama and my Mama did, but I am for sure here

  61. to comb through it and sift through it and get out what

  62. didn't belong. Oppression, orphan spirit, fear,

  63. excuses, addiction, abuse, what whatever may have been there it

  64. it's from generation to generation.

  65. We all have a responsibility to make the bloodline better.

  66. And you can't make the world better unless you make the

  67. bloodline better. You can't make the world better

  68. which which consists of families and many of them broken if you

  69. don't start writing your own family when God says you are not

  70. fit Troy, we are not fit to pastor a church and we can't

  71. even pastor our own home and watch this.

  72. I am not pastoring love quest any different than I'm pastoring

  73. Richmond Missionary Baptist Church there there's no

  74. different Bible. There's no different set of

  75. principles. It it doesn't work.

  76. And that's what I'm saying, when you got ministry and family,

  77. well, wait a minute, Church was built on family.

  78. So how all of a sudden have we done a great job to get leaders

  79. and priests and and people to think my life is over here, the

  80. church is over there. Do do what?

  81. Well, if families are over here and the church is over there, we

  82. don't have a church. There's no church without

  83. families. Watch this.

  84. And there's no family without the church.

  85. Yeah, there's room for it all. There's room for everything that

  86. God has called you to do. But how am I going to be out

  87. here making disciples and not making them in my own home?

  88. I'm going to spend more time with EJ and not with Malachi.

  89. How I'm going to pour into Adam or JT?

  90. How am I pouring into any other man in here?

  91. And I'm not pouring into the men in my home.

  92. How am I going to spend time pouring into any female here?

  93. And not pour into my wife. They go hand in hand.

  94. To be honest. What allows me to stand up here

  95. in courage and in boldness is because I'm standing at home

  96. encouraging in boldness on behalf of the Lord.

  97. For his children and everyone's going to have to give an account

  98. of how you played your part in your family.

  99. No excuses, I will do my best to give a few Nuggets from this

  100. morning just to create some pace and then I want to get to some

  101. new things and then we'll see where we land.

  102. But the Lord is here, and He is inviting.

  103. You into a step further in your transformation, interrupting the

  104. ripple. What we understood last week was

  105. David the, the, the, the sins of David went from generation to

  106. generation to generation. And then we had to go back and

  107. be like, well, wait a minute, how did David live when he came

  108. up? But he was forgotten at times.

  109. He was, he was underestimated at times.

  110. He was overlooked at times. And you see this pattern in the

  111. bloodline and it's not dealt with.

  112. And then you see these major moments come, like his first son

  113. killing his half sister. And then David, the father does

  114. not deal with it. Watch this.

  115. We don't get to it. David's angry about it, but he's

  116. silent in his response. And some of you are angry about

  117. your condition. You are angry about your family

  118. situation. You are angry.

  119. Anger does not bring transformation, not alone.

  120. Anger can be fueled but some of you are angry with no action or

  121. at least no different action or you're angry at the wrong thing.

  122. You're angry at your spouse, not the devil that's attacking your

  123. house. So you're not dragging your

  124. spouse to the church house to say we going to get disciple to

  125. learn how to war. My husband don't know how to

  126. pray. I didn't marry him because he

  127. because he's a prayer warrior, but I need him to pray and he

  128. don't know how to pray. He won't admit he don't know how

  129. to pray. So we need some counsel.

  130. We need some help. You praying about the wrong

  131. thing. When's the last time you prayed

  132. for your spouse to have a hunger to pray versus asking God to

  133. make them stop doing something that get on your nerves?

  134. Enemy has us fighting and ignorance has us fighting the

  135. wrong fight. What you refuse to confront, God

  136. will allow to fracture and a fracture will allow a fracture.

  137. I would like to also say it's like a foothold.

  138. The Bible says don't give the devil a foothold.

  139. Something is fractured, it leaves you with a limp, it can

  140. leave you with bruises. It can leave you with cuts,

  141. abrasions. It can leave you with some

  142. things that if you don't take care of it, you can get

  143. infected. And how many people know?

  144. Forget the world, how many people know in the church, we

  145. have some very infected people. You know how they, you know they

  146. infected easily offended, gossipy, messy, right quick, the

  147. faint. They're infected.

  148. And So what they want is you to change.

  149. They want you to watch this. They want you to change JT more

  150. than they want to heal. Last week it was.

  151. Not my fault because you and I did not choose our last name.

  152. You and I did not design our childhood.

  153. Mama said it's time to go. We just all right, let's go.

  154. We're going to hop in the car and you're going to take me

  155. wherever for years. We you take your kids wherever

  156. you think they should go. Can you imagine having that many

  157. years? No choice of where you going to

  158. go, what you going to do What you going to eat how people talk

  159. around you. You grew up people said close

  160. your close close your eyes right or you was just told to be quiet

  161. don't do that. You was never talked

  162. righteousness you was just told wrong.

  163. But wait a minute Mama you talk like that wait a minute y'all be

  164. arguing too? Why are you mad at me raising my

  165. voice? You'll be raising your voice

  166. too. You was you was born in a

  167. situation Can you acknowledge that you was born in something

  168. you're not proud of, right? Watch this.

  169. Here's The funny thing about family.

  170. You can be in the most toxic family and there's so much love

  171. and somebody talk about your toxic family and you protect

  172. your family. You're not protecting toxic you

  173. protecting relationship, but the relationship is what it's toxic.

  174. And you part of the reason why you mad is you know that you

  175. know your friends, right? Your Mama hecka crazy.

  176. Don't don't call my Mama crazy. yo-yo yo, your daddy a deadbeat.

  177. Don't call my daddy a deadbeat. But he is though a part of your

  178. frustration is it's true. Some of us have been and still

  179. we are ashamed of our family. We don't even want to bring our

  180. friends to see our family. Or you spend time telling your

  181. mom or your daddy, hey, I'm about to bring my friend over.

  182. Can you just chill today, ma? Like ma, can you can you just

  183. chill until you can say yes? It's not my fault.

  184. Some of you I mentioned this morning you have sex addictions

  185. or watch this or you got you, you, you, you, you don't you

  186. don't feel nothing. You turned off.

  187. And there's so many things that are dysfunctional about us that

  188. we just have claimed as who we are.

  189. Like, like, man, I just thought, I'll just be thinking crazy

  190. stuff. OK, that's cute for a while.

  191. You got a few friends. You can tell, man, I felt like

  192. punching that Lady in the grocery line.

  193. I don't know why. I just felt like punching her.

  194. OK, it's cute for a while. It's funny for a while.

  195. But one day if you don't deal with that thought.

  196. You might punch that Lady one day because you don't ask where

  197. is that coming from? Does that come from a certain

  198. type of person that that person represent?

  199. You ever have somebody just out the blue, they talk and they

  200. just get on your nerve. You're like, oh, can you not

  201. talk, please? Right.

  202. That's cute. Or that's, that's that, that

  203. that just passes by. But have you asked why?

  204. Why did that rub me the wrong way?

  205. Why did I fly off the handle like that today?

  206. Why did I snap back or why did I need somebody to respond to me

  207. that way? I got dressed for three hours.

  208. I walked out the room and my wife said, hey, you ready to go?

  209. Wait a minute. You.

  210. I spent all this time, girl, can you before we go, can you just

  211. give me a compliment? Why did I need that compliment

  212. and make this song? I'm going to make a song and I'm

  213. going to go show it to a few people and then they not bobbing

  214. their head and I'm like why they not doing?

  215. Why they not responding to the song the way I think they

  216. should? Then they say that was cool.

  217. Why my feelings hurt? Because they gave me honest

  218. feedback when I got 15 other people that love it and 14 of

  219. them going to tell me they love it every time.

  220. So I got 15 people that like me, a whole orchard.

  221. I got one person that don't quite like it.

  222. I respond to the one person just like Adam and Eve responded to

  223. the one tree. It may not be my fault, but it

  224. is my responsibility moving forward.

  225. Guys, I don't care what you was born into, you're keeping it

  226. going. And some of us got this like I'm

  227. me and watch this. Me and my wife we doing us.

  228. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no no.

  229. Me and my wife can do us. But my kids got my Mama DNA.

  230. They got her Mama DNA. They got people in my family.

  231. I ain't never met DNA and I know from the few people I know in my

  232. family somebody is cuckoo somewhere, right?

  233. You don't know how long mental illness is laying in the bushes

  234. waiting for the right generation.

  235. You don't know how long addiction is waiting in the

  236. bushes waiting for the right generation.

  237. You don't know, you might just be dealing with porn, but two

  238. generations forward, it's going to be rape because you left the

  239. sex thing in the bloodline. See, it's all seeds.

  240. No, no, my son may not, may not deal with certain things or my

  241. daughter may not. It may not look the same but I I

  242. watch this, I handed the seed off and then the fruit is going

  243. to be based on the call on her life and how the enemy is going

  244. to attack her. For one generation it could be

  245. women. For another generation it could

  246. be money. For another generation it can be

  247. video games. You like what video games got to

  248. do with it? Yeah, same thing as any other

  249. addiction. Another generation it could be

  250. obesity for another generation it could be, it could be, it

  251. could be so many things. The question is, what will you

  252. do with the root that God identifies in your bloodline?

  253. What will you do? Watch this.

  254. I might identify something in my family and the person I identify

  255. it with may be so stubborn he'll never change.

  256. The enemy want to wrap you up trying to change them.

  257. What you need to do is search yourself, Find the root.

  258. Pray against it that it doesn't spread.

  259. Watch this because there's a lot of evil tendencies in every

  260. bloodline. What you refuse to confront, God

  261. will allow to fracture. Ezekiel 18 said the parents ate

  262. green apples. Children got the stomach ache,

  263. right? You grow up in certain

  264. communities. I didn't ask to grow up here.

  265. Now I got to fight. I didn't ask to fight.

  266. I wasn't like angry dude, right? You go to prison, you like, I'm

  267. not even in here, man. I stole, you know, a pound of

  268. chicken. I'm in prison for still in the

  269. car. I'm not in here for killing

  270. nobody. I'm not in here for fighting.

  271. I don't got an angry bone. Now I'm in prison with dogs and

  272. in prison turn me into something and then now I come watch this.

  273. Now I get out of prison. Now I have created patterns in

  274. prison that now impact my freedom.

  275. So This is why many people will go back because they're a

  276. natural habitat now. So same thing, you go to

  277. college, you pick up patterns, man, we picking up patterns

  278. anywhere we stay long enough and covenant begins, we pick up

  279. patterns. This is why I lost this.

  280. We're not talking about it today, but we might need to

  281. throw this in here. Soul mates might need to talk

  282. soul ties. Sorry, soul ties.

  283. We might need to talk about that because some of y'all did.

  284. You just slept with somebody. You didn't been in covenant with

  285. somebody. You didn't share your soul with

  286. somebody and you just thought it was a breakup.

  287. No, it's over. No, both of y'all walked away

  288. with each other. You didn't, you didn't talk like

  289. that before you got with that person.

  290. Look, look, look. My comedy game has expanded ever

  291. since I've been with my wife. Right, like like the comedy that

  292. she grew up with, like it made like her.

  293. She make my comedy a little more Whittier like I like like, but

  294. be being around her, hearing her comedy, being around her parents

  295. and things. Just naturally.

  296. I didn't I didn't say Babe, I wouldn't like the disciples

  297. teach me how to pray. I wouldn't like babe teach me

  298. how to be funny. No, she was being her.

  299. I was being there's, there's things, there's a face I make

  300. when I'm focused, when I'm reading or something.

  301. We're studying and I'm locked in.

  302. I do something with my face. The whole family do it now.

  303. That was my face. But PJ does it and our children

  304. do it when they get focused. And there's things some of you

  305. may have seen the kids do something or you see me do

  306. something. I've heard people be like, that

  307. was Michael right there? What why?

  308. Why? We ain't covenant.

  309. None of us said, hey, I want to be like you.

  310. I want to look like you. I want to no, but just being

  311. around one another. We are naturally who you around

  312. all the time. Who you just going out to

  313. coffee? What kind of conversations you

  314. just having watch this? What you just listening to Who

  315. you listening to? It's framing you.

  316. You don't have no, you don't have no boundaries.

  317. Like people don't need a passport to enter your country.

  318. You just open just free borders. Just tell me whatever gossip to

  319. me, be messy, complain to me. I'm here.

  320. And then they walk away and they have like the bee, they left the

  321. Stinger. Watch this.

  322. After the bee leaves the Stinger, he goes away and dies.

  323. But leave you stung those bitter people that's talking to you,

  324. dying on the inside, but you got Stinger and guess what you going

  325. to do? Take that Stinger out, sting

  326. somebody else. It's called bitterness and the

  327. Bible talks about it and it says the children got the stomach

  328. ache. Have you ever been the product

  329. of angry parents? Anybody.

  330. Yeah. Now you bitter because they

  331. whooped your butt, because they never healed.

  332. They abused you. So you you walk away angry.

  333. At school now the parents ate green apples.

  334. The children got the stomach ache.

  335. The one. Remember this verse.

  336. The one who sins is the one. Who will die?

  337. We have these proverbs like this.

  338. That was a proverb at the time that they they they believed it

  339. so much and repeated it so much and God had to be like what are

  340. y'all talking about? But it was disguised in

  341. theology. But watch this.

  342. We say things like my dad was like this men in our family

  343. struggle or we've always had divorce in our family.

  344. This is just how we are. Disease runs in my family.

  345. We we were never protected or dysfunction is just who we who

  346. we are, but God confronts the mindset.

  347. He does not deny consequence. He does deny inevitability.

  348. It is not inevitable that you have to be like.

  349. Them. It is not inevitable that you

  350. have to get breast cancer. It is not inevitable that you

  351. have to be a domestic violence person or you have to be an

  352. abuser. It is not inevitable that you

  353. have to be addicted to the same thing.

  354. It is not inevitable you are not spiritually stuck because of

  355. your parents. You are accountable for what you

  356. continue. This is just because.

  357. Somebody in my family did X or was like X.

  358. It does. It doesn't mean that I'm going

  359. to be or I have to be, but I am responsible and accountable for

  360. it continuing in my bloodline. This is why I've come to

  361. understand that it was a blessing my father wasn't there.

  362. I'm on the other side of it now because it was almost better I

  363. had no blueprint of what a father was than to be raised by

  364. a dysfunctional 1. Talked about this last night.

  365. Because sometime you can, man. You get bad habits, you get bad

  366. patterns from both parents. Only God knows the complete

  367. story. But I had to figure out, watch

  368. this. I had to figure out how to be a

  369. father based on letting godfather me.

  370. Yeah, if the son continues the father's rebellion, he inherits

  371. its consequences. Watch this.

  372. Watch this. This is why when you are picking

  373. a spouse, pay attention. You, you watch.

  374. When I drive, I look several cars ahead of me.

  375. I don't just pay attention to the car in front of me.

  376. I look at the cars that are ahead of me because I play

  377. sports. I know how to check, but I have

  378. some peripheral. I'm on a basketball court.

  379. When I'm driving, I quickly look, glance in the rear view.

  380. I'm looking in the mirrors. I'm always looking around.

  381. Most of the time when you date and you just look at the person

  382. in front of you, you're not like no, no, no.

  383. I don't want to meet your daddy because I'm ready to marry you.

  384. I want to meet your daddy to figure out if I want to continue

  385. dating you. No, I need to know.

  386. I don't got time to be spending money and energy and late night

  387. phone calls to find out later that I can't trust your daddy

  388. with my kids. I can't trust your Mama to watch

  389. my kids. Why?

  390. How we get married and found that out.

  391. Yeah. Bring him on.

  392. Let's bring your Mama and your daddy on our first date.

  393. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Come on.

  394. No, no, no. We're not going out by

  395. ourselves. I want to meet.

  396. I want your Mama and your I'll treat your Mama and your daddy.

  397. I want them to come on the date, Right.

  398. And then you sitting there with Mama and daddy and Mama and

  399. daddy arguing, Mama and daddy dysfunctional on the date and

  400. you sitting there, you like, yeah, Hallelujah.

  401. I know I'm treating. I'm the Hallelujah.

  402. I know what I'm doing after this.

  403. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, no, no.

  404. Mama and Daddy pull out a bunch of pills and pop out pills for

  405. all kind of mental. No, no, no.

  406. Look, I love you. I'm going to pray for you.

  407. I even invite you to my church. But I'm not inviting you into my

  408. bloodline. We not about to cross pollen.

  409. No, I'm not about to mix my DNA with yours.

  410. Do you hear what I'm saying? This is how we've gotten jacked

  411. up. This is why Bible talks about

  412. unequally yoked and we just think, well, he's saved now.

  413. Do you know unequally yoked goes way deeper than being saved,

  414. right? I got peace.

  415. He don't We are equally yoked. You know what I'm saying?

  416. I don't like to argue. He love arguing unequally yoked.

  417. Watch this even down to like basic.

  418. It sounds funny, but at the top, at the top when you married,

  419. it's too late. At the top, at the top.

  420. I like watching TV. She don't unequally yoked.

  421. Unequally yoked. Somebody say unequally yoked.

  422. Yeah, that don't go together, right.

  423. I wind down watching watching Sports Center.

  424. You wind down drinking a couple shots.

  425. We unequally yoked. I don't wind down like that.

  426. I don't want alcohol in my house.

  427. Unequally yoked No, my kids going to church, they going to

  428. be they going to be Christian until they decide they don't

  429. want to be Christian. Well, I don't want to raise my

  430. kids in church. Unequally yoked yoked yoked

  431. yoked Some of us we so thirsty we bypass man, you don't even

  432. got to get to abuse. Just be honest with your

  433. standards. Have some Hallelujah, that's

  434. that's not the message. But we're going to keep going.

  435. Have some look at your neighbors say have some watch this, watch

  436. this. If I continue the patterns of my

  437. father, I also inherit his consequences.

  438. OK, so as much as you don't want to be like your daddy, you going

  439. to be like your daddy till you change the patterns your daddy

  440. gave you. That's how you end up being like

  441. the people you don't want to be like because you keep being like

  442. they be like. If the sun turns though, here's

  443. the good news. He or she breaks the chain.

  444. Where you were raised may explain your struggle, but it

  445. does not justify your surrender. You inherited the environment.

  446. You still choose the alignment. You you, you may in.

  447. It's like they say, man, you can, you can leave Oakland, but

  448. you can't take the Oakland out there.

  449. Well, some of Oakland I had to take out.

  450. I promise you, I know I've taken some of the Oakland out because

  451. some when the wind blow, guess we'll be trying to come back up

  452. Oakland and I got to tell little Oakland hush buddy, like stay

  453. down. You did not inherit exemption

  454. from obedience. You may have inherited exposure

  455. to dysfunction. True, you did not inherit

  456. permission to continue it. Who making you continue OK it

  457. might be they fault, but it's your fault it's continuing I'm.

  458. Stubborn just like my daddy. Well, you don't have to be any

  459. crazy EJ how we just pick stuff up and be like just like if I

  460. had a bunch, I should have did that illustration.

  461. We just, you have a bunch of sticky notes and take them off

  462. my Mama or take off my daddy or take them off my uncle and just

  463. put them on me and we just own it.

  464. That's how I was raised. Your last name explains your

  465. exposure. It does not excuse your

  466. decisions. I declare the ripple stops with

  467. you. Yeah.

  468. Last week we see that the sword shall never depart from from his

  469. house That was declared by God. God declared that the the sword

  470. shall never. So watch this.

  471. The the battle moved into David's living room.

  472. Watch this. This is the same David that

  473. defeated Goliath and he couldn't even correct his son.

  474. Any crazy how you bowled in some areas but not in the ones that

  475. really matter. David misaligned desire went

  476. ungoverned. Authority was abused.

  477. Grace forgave but consequence ripple.

  478. Watch this. This represents multiple

  479. generations starting with David. Watch this.

  480. Families fracture before the arguments, churches split before

  481. the votes, marriages drift before the papers, children

  482. rebel before the confrontations, hearts drift before the

  483. distance, and homes weaken way before they collapse.

  484. Environments are shaped before events explode.

  485. That that day y'all had a blow up.

  486. Y'all only had a blow up 'cause you didn't deal with it a long

  487. time ago. You know she finally hit you.

  488. That's 'cause. It's no 'cause.

  489. It's no 'cause it's no 'cause it's no 'cause I thank God,

  490. thank God I am yielded to the Holy Spirit.

  491. The point is, is when things blow up, deserved or undeserved,

  492. we get so caught up in being victims, we don't realize.

  493. Man, I actually could have stopped.

  494. That from happening in my life, OK, I'm not talking about people

  495. taking advantage and people being stronger than you and and

  496. doing things of that nature. I'm not talking about that.

  497. But I am talking about day-to-day things where you find

  498. yourself blowing up, you find yourself always having to

  499. apologize. Like when are you going to

  500. actually deal with it? Get it out.

  501. Me and my white man, I'll be like, it's moments where I'm

  502. like, we turned that around so quick.

  503. Something happened the other day.

  504. I don't even know what it was, but it was silly and I remember

  505. we just kind of moved on. I went to talk to her and then I

  506. was she responded like I didn't she didn't she didn't had no

  507. attitude. What no silent treatment and

  508. then vice versa didn't owe me. You know when owe you rise up be

  509. like no, don't talk to her. No, they get an apology first.

  510. They still not listening to you. If watch this if you move on,

  511. they won't know how it hurts you.

  512. Oh, so you're more concerned about making sure somebody know

  513. they hurt you than moving on and enjoying the person.

  514. So then I need to deal with what is that thing that I need that

  515. closure? What you refuse to confront God

  516. will allow to fracture. The ripple could have stopped

  517. somebody say the ripple could have stopped.

  518. It could have stopped Guys. Watch this.

  519. David won battles in chapter 10. He lost alignment in Chapter 11.

  520. He received forgiveness in chapter 12.

  521. He saw consequence unfold in chapter 13.

  522. Ain't crazy how quick you can go from victory to turmoil so

  523. quick. Watch this.

  524. Grace removed guilt. It did not erase Ripple.

  525. And this is how we do. We dance.

  526. We dance on grace. Oh, death is defeated and you go

  527. home and you like, how am I back here again?

  528. Pattern. It ain't the devil, it's psycho.

  529. It ain't the devil. It's pattern.

  530. Watch this. I don't need to try hard to take

  531. somebody down when I know they pattern.

  532. I've known that pattern in your bloodline, Danny, since your

  533. great, great grandpa. The devil know the pattern

  534. before you do. And you think you could Just

  535. Dance around and Hallelujah. And then you care about your

  536. grandkids and you care about your children, but you won't

  537. face the stuff that you are ordained and anointed to face.

  538. So they don't have to come to church every week.

  539. For what? For what verse 13 says in the

  540. course of time, here we go. Amnon, son of David, fell in

  541. love with Tamar, the beautiful sister of Absalom, son of David.

  542. So Amnon is David's first son. Here it is.

  543. I mean, I'm sorry, Amnon is and then Tamar is a daughter and

  544. Absalom is the brother Tamar Absalom full blood, but they are

  545. half to Amnon. Amnon became so obsessed with

  546. his sister Tamar that he made himself I'll this family drama

  547. right here. Half brother is falling in love

  548. with his half sister. That stuff is in the Bible,

  549. guys. It's in the Bible.

  550. And say he's so obsessed with her.

  551. He I'll like he's sick. So he's dealing with something

  552. deep. Watch this.

  553. Whose son is this? David?

  554. The battlefield moved into the living room.

  555. You might have met, might have, might have got in the promised

  556. land. But what did you take in the

  557. promised land? You.

  558. You wonder why God needed you to go through the wilderness before

  559. getting there. Sound like, like, like, like

  560. Amnon needed to go through the wilderness.

  561. He didn't need the shortcut. He needed a long time.

  562. He got something deep going on. Watch this.

  563. She was a virgin and it seemed impossible for him to do

  564. anything to her. Now Amnon had an advisor named

  565. Jonah Dab, son of Shamia David's brother.

  566. Jonah Dab was a very shrewd. Man, watch this Amnon's love

  567. when it says he loved her. This was obsession.

  568. This was not agape. This was desire.

  569. Ungoverned. This was distorted desire.

  570. Now I don't want you to think about oh this message ain't for

  571. me today because this talking about some sexual crazy stuff.

  572. No, no, no. The seed is the same, it looks

  573. different in every generation. It could look the same but what

  574. we about to see is that sexual issue or whatever issue was

  575. dealt with now led to murder. Now we see death in the family.

  576. Appetite always finds agreement. It said it said It said he went

  577. and found agreement. Watch this.

  578. Unconfronted desire recruits reinforcement.

  579. Oh, you see it in the church all the time.

  580. We ain't got to talk about sex. We ain't got to talk about none

  581. of that. But you find people in church

  582. all the time who are offended. Who are you?

  583. Find reinforcement. Can we go have coffee?

  584. I just want to share with you what's on my heart.

  585. What are you looking for? Reinforcement.

  586. Because you are ungoverned. This is corrupt counsel.

  587. Amnon had a friend, Jonah Dabb, who was very shrewd.

  588. Ain't it funny who you go to with your ungoverned feelings?

  589. Why you won't come to EJ? Why you won't come to PJ?

  590. Why you won't? Why you did you dissect the

  591. fruit of those you getting wisdom from?

  592. Why you wondering from the ones with fruit and you, you eating

  593. out that hands of one that can barely keep their lives

  594. together. Lust promises pleasure then it

  595. produces disgust. Have you ever been there?

  596. That lust gets you riled up the boy and you do it and you like

  597. Oh my God what have I done? Why you wasn't thinking that

  598. when you did it. Now moving forward, just know

  599. whenever you are flaring up in whatever lustful ways, just know

  600. the end will not be good. Watch this you won't even feel

  601. good. You see up in the top corners he

  602. was stronger than she was. Second Samuel 1314 he was

  603. stronger than she was. Watch this then says we must

  604. recognize. The moments that can change

  605. everything. And this was a moment that can

  606. change everything. Watch this.

  607. Verse 21 Now when King David heard about all these things,

  608. his daughter being raped by his son, he was what?

  609. Very angry but failed to take any action.

  610. Why would the Bible put that in there?

  611. He was angry but took no action. Why would the Bible put that in

  612. there? Why would the Bible?

  613. Why would God make a way after all these years to make sure

  614. that scripture made the printed version of the Bible?

  615. Watch this message, says King David heard the whole story and

  616. was enraged, but he didn't discipline am not you can be.

  617. Right in your emotion and wrong in your response.

  618. Anger is appropriate, but to sit back and do nothing is not OK

  619. with God. What good is the emotion of a

  620. son without the correction of a king?

  621. Without the correction of the king?

  622. You mean David, you had enough courage?

  623. To slay Goliath and you couldn't correct your son for raping your

  624. daughter. Do you understand what that

  625. moment did? To the next generation because

  626. the head of the household didn't want to face something.

  627. Watch this. That triggered him.

  628. He wanted to just go away. How guilty was he feeling for

  629. some of the actions he's done? So who am I to punish you?

  630. But watch this. David confronted Goliath but he

  631. did not confront his own household.

  632. Some of y'all bosses in the world and you over there moving

  633. and shaking. You come to your own house,

  634. you'll let anything go down. Only thing you correct is what

  635. you don't like, not necessarily what's right.

  636. Silence is not neutrality. Silence is permission.

  637. I know some of y'all are introverts.

  638. You don't like to communicate and you just want to sweep it

  639. under the rug. But every day, every day that

  640. you just don't just you don't face that thing, you don't put

  641. it on the table. You don't have an accountability

  642. partner for it. Every day is being reinforced.

  643. Watch this. If you hiding it, you owning it.

  644. Watch this EJ David did not deal with it.

  645. Watch this. Two whole years went by and his

  646. sons are sitting there asking are you going to do anything for

  647. my sister? Like, this is real.

  648. People. People.

  649. Are you going to do what? What?

  650. What? What?

  651. Wait a minute. You, my daddy.

  652. I know you got a bunch of wives. My sister just got raped by your

  653. son. I'm going to wait two years to

  654. see if you do something. I'm going to wait two years to

  655. see if you do something. Oh, you going to tell me it

  656. didn't happen? You.

  657. You what? OK, Dad.

  658. You. You just want to keep it

  659. pushing. Praise the Lord Oh my soul.

  660. You just want to keep going to church.

  661. You just don't want to talk about it the the whole family

  662. gather. We don't want to talk about it.

  663. We don't want to deal with it. OK, so where is that consequence

  664. going to show up? Or are you one of them people

  665. who are OK long as you dead and gone, you don't mind?

  666. I'm talking about dealing with stuff that started with grandma.

  667. I mean Grandpa that I'm talking about telling your kids no, that

  668. wasn't cool what Grandma did. No, I ain't no listen to

  669. grandma. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

  670. You can't fear your parents so much that you allow the seed of

  671. toxicity to stay in your bloodline because you calling it

  672. honor. You going to honor your parents

  673. and dishonor the next generation?

  674. What kind of plan is that? You you going, you going to hide

  675. your parents filth thinking you protecting your kids?

  676. No, you protecting your kids by exposing because when you are

  677. exposing, you are also equipping man, we talk about like like

  678. some of the dysfunction in our family.

  679. We we, we make fun of right, we, we, we crazy, right.

  680. Some of the crazy is fun, but there's some stuff that my kids

  681. have seen me, I've talked to them about.

  682. Not not. Yeah, that wasn't cool.

  683. Dad. Why you go up to the room?

  684. Why you wasn't down there talking with everybody?

  685. Because I wasn't about to put myself in that situation.

  686. Kids try to act out when grandma and them come around and playoff

  687. and feed off grandma. Because if you if you watch

  688. this, if you around family all together generations, you will

  689. see familiar spirits. You'll see the family members

  690. that that's connected with what grandkid and what kid and you

  691. like. Oh, no, no, no, no.

  692. And it right, right, right. If you if you if you're a

  693. warrior and there's times where I get you can ask my kids, you

  694. ask my mom, you can ask. I'm just I will confront it

  695. right there. No, both both parties, we're

  696. going to talk. No, that ain't cool.

  697. Mind that, no that ain't cool Malik Nah that ain't cool

  698. Malachi Nah. And watch this.

  699. You're the guy that messed the vibe up.

  700. We was just having a good time. No not watching 2 demons dance

  701. together. You think y'all having a good

  702. time but that's a transaction. That's reinforcement.

  703. You got that family member that make it OK for your kid to cuss

  704. or make it OK for your kid to do this, or you got that

  705. grandparent that when they sip in at the party, they'll get

  706. your little kid come over and be like, oh, here, don't tell your

  707. Mama I did it. Watch this.

  708. You got it. Whenever you got them.

  709. Family members that say don't tell your Mama I did it, don't

  710. tell your Mama I did it. Stay woke, Caleb, stay woke.

  711. Don't. Don't tell your Mama I did it.

  712. You got them family members. Anybody ever, had anybody been a

  713. kid that somebody said don't tell your Mama I did it, Don't

  714. tell your daddy I did it, Or maybe you don't want to hear

  715. that, told the kid, don't tell your mom I did it.

  716. I didn't see enough hands on that first one.

  717. So maybe the rest of y'all two years passed.

  718. Watch this. Watch this.

  719. The ripple escalates from lust to violation to silence to

  720. murder. It escalates.

  721. Watch this. Silence can be an escalation.

  722. This is not random violence. This is unchecked sin maturing.

  723. This is unchecked sin maturing. You see it in James.

  724. Here's what's happening. David's family is illustrating

  725. it. James is talking about it.

  726. Each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own

  727. desire. Then desire, when it has

  728. conceived, gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is fully grown,

  729. brings forth death, destruction. Desire conceives, Sin is born,

  730. sin matures, death follows. Watch this unconfronted desire

  731. does not stay private, it grows teeth.

  732. It's. Going to come a time where that

  733. unchecked sin is going to bite you and it ain't got baby teeth

  734. it ain't got it ain't even got dentures is.

  735. Is is going to bite and it's going to leave teeth marks

  736. unconfronted desire. No, no, no, you.

  737. I'm here to help somebody today. You do not wait till desire

  738. develops. Do not wait till desire

  739. develops. Watch this.

  740. You know a evil desire from a holy desire.

  741. Do not wait till desire develops.

  742. We got 6 minutes here. The ripple was not unstoppable.

  743. It just went uninterrupted and I think we helping some families

  744. here today. The ripple does not stop when

  745. you feel bad. It stops when you take

  746. responsibility. Right, right, right.

  747. There's people sometimes you'll counsel and they'll anybody know

  748. the people that they going to make it emotional before we get

  749. to the root because they don't realize that.

  750. Let me cry on them. So we ain't got to deal with it.

  751. So when you say I'd stop people mid sad face and they'll be

  752. like, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, stop, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope,

  753. we're not crying right now. Now this ain't the this ain't

  754. the part we can cry later, but can we get somewhere?

  755. But you going to start the meeting off crying from victim.

  756. Watch this some of y'all who are putting people's life to be that

  757. person. You can't be afraid to seem

  758. insensitive. Watch this when you tell them to

  759. stop your governing. No, not right now.

  760. We're not making this emotional right now.

  761. Let's get to some depth and then let's cry over revelation meant

  762. I didn't and I would feel bad. So I need the anointing because

  763. I the human kicks in or the pastoral kick in and you just

  764. want to pull out the tissue box. No, and they sitting there

  765. waiting for you to bring them the tissue box.

  766. No, ain't no tissue box. It's right there.

  767. You going to grab it? I'm not grabbing it, but there's

  768. times where you got to know the spirit and it's that person

  769. who's a victim and you can see them winding themselves up.

  770. You see it? Enough.

  771. Maybe you don't tell them to stop.

  772. You got to change the conversation quick.

  773. You got to be skillful though. Sin does not stay where.

  774. It starts watch this, watch this.

  775. I'll give you, here's a little counseling tip.

  776. If I know a meeting has the potential, I shouldn't give this

  777. away because then sometimes you're going to come in the

  778. office, you're going to be. But if I know a meeting has the

  779. potential to be dramatic, I might turn on some upbeat music.

  780. I'm like if I meet with this person with pads on we going to

  781. be crying the whole time and this meeting is not about.

  782. That right now. We actually need to bring some

  783. correction, so we going to turn on some some reggae or

  784. something. We going to turn it up.

  785. They going to walk in with strobe lights and everything on

  786. what's? Up.

  787. Hey, get Seon to bring some confetti.

  788. Soon as you walk in the. Session I'm.

  789. Let's turn up. Why?

  790. Because that's. Governing.

  791. That is. Skillful governing that is not

  792. that is not saying. That ain't God does.

  793. This the same way sometimes we want God to just wrap his arms

  794. around us. We want to sing He loves.

  795. US. Oh, and big sloppy wet kiss and

  796. we want to get sing all them emotional worship songs.

  797. When God says it's time to run through a wall right now.

  798. He loves us. Oh, how he loves us and it's

  799. like. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

  800. This is time to. Sing I will run or you know it's

  801. time to hit them keys that's hit.

  802. That I. Will run key right right.

  803. Right. Stop, stop, stop.

  804. Don't know. Stop, stop, stop, stop.

  805. You see what I'm saying? You see what that does that

  806. that's just like versus play, play, play, play he love.

  807. OK, OK, OK, OK. Right.

  808. This is the beautiful part about music, but sometimes you need to

  809. know when you said that you need a song.

  810. That's. That's about to drive you

  811. somewhere, but you also need people.

  812. Around you. That will do.

  813. It for you and you give them permission, that's

  814. accountability. You're not going to get offended

  815. when I'm trying to. Redirect.

  816. Something I'm I'm actually governing and you can't see

  817. right now because you're caught up in it.

  818. Sin does not stay where it starts.

  819. It spreads. This is not about David alone.

  820. This is really about identity. Orphan posture was the root.

  821. Patterns are the fruit. So we bring this to a close.

  822. Romans 8 shows. Us something for the Spirit

  823. which you have now received. Is not a spirit of slavery now

  824. received to put you once? More in bondage.

  825. To fear once more. But you have received the spirit

  826. of adoption, the spirit producing sonship, Spirit

  827. producing sonship, in the bliss of which we cry.

  828. ABBA, Father, father, watch this.

  829. There's 2 operating systems going on in that scripture.

  830. One is slavery produced by fear. Sonship produces security these

  831. two operating systems. The orphan posture.

  832. Says protect yourself, control outcomes, hide weakness, perform

  833. for approval. We're going to end here and

  834. we're going to pick up next week and we're.

  835. Going to get into equipping and exciting in the same message and

  836. his sonship posture says I am secure, I am governed and I am

  837. received. So what?

  838. Runs in your family. In my family to make this

  839. hermeneutically. Sound sexual disorder, divided

  840. worship, anger sometime in one house you.

  841. Got people worship in different. Things control, fear,

  842. performance, rebellion, passivity.

  843. Behavior is not the starting point.

  844. Behavior is not the starting point.

  845. Identity is you are where. You are because you know who you

  846. are. Or you don't know who you are,

  847. and you might know who. You are in certain areas, but in

  848. some. Areas you don't know who you are

  849. if you do not. Govern desire.

  850. Desire will govern. Generations.

  851. The amazing part is this puts in.

  852. Context What Jesus came to do. The devil is defeated.

  853. Jesus says. All power has been given to me.

  854. Now go. Watch this being a witness.

  855. And your transformation. Go hand to hand.

  856. What kind of witness? Are you if you ain't changing?

  857. And if you're really witnessing, why you how you ain't changing?

  858. So if I'm going to be a witness, I got to be transformed.

  859. So This is why all powers in. His hand is as.

  860. I go not as I go do ministry, but abandoned identity not as I

  861. go, I find. Identity in ministry.

  862. No, as I go, I'm letting him do the work in me.

  863. So that I can do the work of the ministry.

  864. That sounds like Ephesians. He gave these five fold ministry

  865. gifts to do what equip the Saints, mature the Saints for

  866. the perfecting of the Saints so that they may do the what work

  867. of the ministry. So witnessing and.

  868. Transformation Go. Hand in hand, what we've been

  869. doing is putting gifting on top of transformation.

  870. We've been prioritizing. Opportunity.

  871. Prioritizing anointing, prioritizing gifting,

  872. prioritizing career not knowing that they.

  873. All go together. But God is never about to blow

  874. up. This is why some of our favorite

  875. worship worship bands or collectives have blown up and

  876. then blew up. Because they were talented and

  877. there. Was a machine that got them to

  878. where they got, but you see what happens when anointing.

  879. Don't know who they are? You like how these people keep

  880. falling identity? Undealt with patterns.

  881. Anytime you see a church falls, you can go right back.

  882. Here is how every giant fell in the Bible.

  883. Undealt with patterns and watch this.

  884. None of us in here are exempt. You don't need a platform.

  885. I don't watch this. It's even worse if.

  886. You don't got a platform. But you let your family down.

  887. You think it's bad? Because a pastor failed?

  888. What about a father? Why we make?

  889. So much noise because a pastor failed.

  890. Do you know the? Responsibility you got as a mom,

  891. do you know? What you have responsibility,

  892. you have as a daughter. As a son and all we do.

  893. Is scroll and share other? People's fall.

  894. Let's see if you being faithful over your house.

  895. Guess what, you just ain't been found out yet.

  896. Your business ain't on social media, but them little secrets

  897. you're not dealing with. Guess what?

  898. They just got busted. You should.

  899. You should not want to keep. On getting away with.

  900. The secret? So you should.

  901. Thank God you're not popular. But watch this.

  902. Popular saying ain't. Bigger than unpopular?

  903. Saying but there's a a, a a wealth.

  904. Of people that's. So opinionated about the

  905. toxicity in the world. And if you just turn that phone

  906. on you and do a selfie? I wonder if you posted your

  907. truth, your secrets, your fears, what that'll look like.

  908. You might go. Viral if you told the truth.

  909. Instead of just being a consumer, I wonder who's going

  910. to take responsibility for their bloodline.

  911. I know I am. What may come, what don't come,

  912. doesn't matter. But what I am responsible for is

  913. the Richmond. Family and then as.

  914. The man. Watch this.

  915. I've also taken on changing the bloodline of the Mancinis.

  916. Oh, you thought you just married your wife, huh?

  917. No, you. Took responsibility to impact

  918. her bloodline. How you doing?

  919. How you? Doing because she joined her.

  920. Bloodline with your bloodline. So y'all got the opportunity to

  921. do a new thing. The 2 become 1-2 bloodlines

  922. become one. How you doing?

  923. How you doing fellas after you told her?

  924. Father, you going to take her hand and you're going to take

  925. care of her. How you doing?

  926. You're not taking care of her if you ain't taking care of her so.

  927. Right, I got a responsibility to honor my children's

  928. grandparents. On both sides.

  929. I don't got. To talk to him all the time, but

  930. I. Guarantee you

  931. I just declare over those that are hungry and thirsty and that.

  932. Desire that you are empowered and anointed to make that

  933. difference, Yeah. Put the fear away.

  934. Face it, just know whatever. You have to face is already

  935. defeated you you have a blood bought right?

  936. To move forward and. Confidence and courage and.

  937. Boldness. There's things that you had to

  938. experience growing up that your. Children, unless you tell them.

  939. They will never even you if you told them they'll be so shocked

  940. they mouth would drop if you shared with them that was in

  941. your bloodline. I'm talking about brand new.

  942. I'm talking about. I'm talking about.

  943. The first to do. It.

  944. Some of you in here are first generation leaders first.

  945. Generation entrepreneurs First generation graduates first

  946. generation the 1st. For some of you.

  947. My prayer right now. Is that?

  948. You allow God to. Deal with your fear.

  949. All I hear the. Lord saying in this moment.

  950. As your Father is fear not, for I did not give you the spirit of

  951. fear, but a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.

  952. Fear is not your future. Depression is not your future.

  953. Worry is not your future. Mental illness of any kind is

  954. not your future. The assigned demons in your

  955. bloodline are defeated their. Strategies are exposed.

  956. They are uprooted. God's going to do some things

  957. inside of you. That is going to.

  958. Confound the enemy it is going to.

  959. Confuse the enemy. The enemy is going to have to go

  960. back to the. Drawing board on you, whoever

  961. that is for. He he, he.

  962. He has. He has had a pulse on your

  963. family for too long. I take it personal.

  964. It's been too. Easy.

  965. To bring destruction in your family.

  966. But it stops with you today. It has to stop.

  967. Somebody just say it has to stop with me.

  968. And stopping with you does not mean the last.

  969. One to get it. It means you're the.

  970. First one it won't touch. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

  971. It's it's, it's not, it's not I'm.

  972. The last one to get cancer. I'm the last one to deal with

  973. abuse. No, no, no, I am the first one

  974. to not get it. I am the first one to not be

1013. Will be lost to the pit of hell. I declare over my family that we

1014. shall see and experience the salvation of the Lord in this

1015. lifetime. That the love of God will be our

1016. legacy. And the fruit of the Spirit will

1017. be our evidence. That God is with us.

1018. Till we put hell on notice. That sons and daughters.
