Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International

Church Podcast, where we seek to love all nations, equip the

church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.

We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever

you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get

your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe

some tea, and get ready to receive.

Let's get into it. Last few weeks we've been

talking about the family that God intends, right?

We've been talking about family matters.

Somebody say family matters. We also understand that marriage

matters. Somebody say marriage matters.

We talked about the blessing. We talked about alignment.

We talked about the ripple that our lives create.

Good or bad, life or death. Somebody say the ripple, and I

don't know about you, but I have been checked by the spirit is

well liberated at the same time, because not that I blame my

environment, my family, my trauma, but to be able to

identify the root of or the origin of a behavior, especially

a pattern, it liberates me because now I have identified

the root issue of why this fruit is remaining in my life.

Because what happens in a home does not stop in the home.

It ripples. Somebody say it ripples, faith

ripples, honor ripples, brokenness ripples, blessing

ripples. What we build today becomes the

story our children inherit tomorrow, and Scripture shows us

this over and over again. When a father walks with God, it

shapes generations. When a home forgets God, the

ripple moves the other direction.

We look at David, one of the clearest examples of this

ripple. If you've been here for the last

few weeks, we have looked at David's life, not only what his

sons and daughters inherited, but also what he may have went

through that could have caused some of the ripple in his life,

like being overlooked, being misunderstood, being left out of

the equation. When the anointing came to his

house, when it was time to anoint one of the sons, he was

not invited to the party. So we see how throughout time,

patterns are generated for generations.

And I'm here to tell everybody in here, your family is not

doing anything new unless you do it.

Meaning the devil been tracing your tracks.

The enemy knows some of the patterns in your bloodline way

better than you do. And So what he loves and he's

banking on is that you remain ignorant to why you are the way

you are. That you say this ignorant

statement is just who I am, and it may not be your fault that

you inherited it, but it is your fault that you won't change it.

David, watch this scripture tells us that David was not

perfect. Amen.

David had failures. Amen.

David had messes. David had moments that damaged

his household, but Scripture still says something remarkable

about David and it says this clean statement.

David is a man after God's own heart.

How you murder somebody? How do you commit adultery?

OK, you commit adultery with one of your soldiers wives, then you

kill him, then you marry her, then your daughter gets raped by

your first son. You do nothing about it.

He is one of the worst sinners by you know, if we was the judge

sin because you know, we put sin on different levels.

He murdered, he committed adultery, and he goes down in

the Bible as a man after God's own heart.

How do you murder? How do you commit adultery?

How do you covet and go down in history as a man after God's own

heart and then put your name as Jesus Godfather or step up like

like like Jesus son of David. That would be like Jesus son of

Adam, Jesus son of Terence, Jesus son of Jasmine.

That was just David guys wasn't an Angel.

It wasn't Jesus, it was David shepherd boy commit adultery

murders, he goes down and his name is in history Jesus, son of

David in the same sentence as not just Jesus, but in the same

sentence as have mercy on me. So we would be foolish to just

look at the ripple in David's bloodline, but not really hone

in on although David had this craziness in his family, how is

he a man after? How is God like?

If there's anybody I want y'all to be like, I want you to be

like David. So are you saying God, you want

me to go kill somebody? So you want me to commit

adultery? What about David has that watch

this. That is David's obituary, that

that's how we remember David when we look at David's sin.

That's the way in the Old Testament David's life is pulled

into Jesus walk. David's life is pulled in.

They approached him that way. They didn't say Jesus, son of

God. They didn't say Jesus lion of

Judah. They said, Jesus, son of David

and son of David, please have mercy on me.

Why? Because David had a reflex that

a lot of us don't have. When David sinned, he returned.

When David was overwhelmed, he worshipped.

And when David faced battles, he remembered the faithfulness of

God. See it all through the Psalms.

Watch this. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and

forget, not forget, not forget, not forget.

Not all of his benefits. Unfortunately, there are some

people in here. You are dead tired today.

When I say tired, not just physically, but mentally,

because you have forgotten. It's not the devil, it's your

memory. David constantly remembered and

the remembrance turned into a praise.

Remembrance. Family protects the ripple

because when a house remembers what God has done, gratitude

fills the home. Praise fills the home, faith

fills the home. But when remembrance disappears,

gratitude fades, praise grows quiet, and slowly but surely the

story of God disappears from your house.

Luke 17 says this. Then Jesus asked.

We're not ten of you cleansed. Where's the other 9?

Why did only one return? Why is only one got a praise?

Did not bless all y'all. Why only one of y'all passionate

about my grace. Did not bless all y'all family

watch this. 10 experienced 10 experienced mercy. 10 received a

miracle, but only one, somebody, say 11, return to honor the one

who did it. Families.

Here we go. Families tend to drift into

forgetfulness. Over the last few weeks, we have

been building something intentional in this house.

We have been talking about family blessing, generational

alignment, and the kind of culture Heaven intends to live

inside a home. Because watch this.

Families do not drift into health.

You do not drift. No one drifts into help.

No one drifts into better. No one drifts into deliverance.

You don't drift into freedom. Families tend to drift into

forgetfulness. We remember disappointments.

Yeah, we do. We remember the let downs.

Yeah, we do. We remember the failures.

Yeah, we do. We remember the persecution.

Yeah, we do. We remember the abandonment.

Yeah, we do. But we forget the faithfulness.

If you had some type of AI tracking how much you remember

his goodness versus how much you complaining or worried about

what's next, what would that feedback be?

Forgetfulness is dangerous. God never asked us to erase the

past. He invites us forward with our

eyes on Him. But along the way, the Father

keeps whispering. Remember my hand, remember my

heart, remember my love, remember my character, remember

my promises. Watch this because when you

remember who God has been, you regain confidence in who God

will be. Yeah.

Forgetfulness makes you think you survived because you were

strong. Forgetfulness makes you think

the breakthrough came because you were smart.

Forgetfulness makes you interpret mercy as normal.

So today, before we ask God for the next thing, people, before

we pray for the next door, before we talk about the next

miracle, today we are going to do something very holy and

royal. We are going to count them up.

Somebody say count them up. Somebody say count them up,

count them up, count them up, count them up.

All you got to do is turn around.

All you got to do is turn around.

What if I told you all you got to do is turn around?

Where family matters, praise matters.

I want you to pause for a second and I want you to think for like

maybe 30 seconds. If you can pull your mind to

that 30 seconds of all the Lord has done.

Now you couldn't take do that in 30 seconds.

Can you at least think of one thing God has done?

And if you can't think of nothing, think you got here

safe? You're worshipping with a roof

over your head. Anybody, I think everybody,

everybody ate at least last night or at least this week.

You got food on your table, everybody looking good, you got

clothes. Nobody in here naked like you.

You good. Take 30 seconds and just pause

and everything the Holy Spirit brings up, just say thank you.

Just say thank you. You should be thank you, thank

you, thank you, thank you. But just say thank you.

And I want you to think of all the Lord has done.

Hallelujah. Deep praise, deep praise, deep

praise be praise be praise be praise forever.

All he brought us out of pause, all he kept you from all the

prayers he answered, all the doors he opened.

Watch this and all the doors he closed that would have destroyed

you. Yeah, it's it's it's pretty

crazy that that that we only praise him or not for the things

we're aware of. We don't realize that the devil

had a plan too. While you was driving here

today, the devil had a plan too. While you were asleep last

night, the devil had a plan too. And for the things that God did

not allow to destroy us there, that deserves a praise.

I, I know I got some. So I I know I got some survivors

in here that should be dead, that should be in jail.

It should have took you out. It should have took you out.

It should have tell your neighbor.

It should have took you out. Yeah.

What? There's a question for you.

What did God keep you from that you never even saw?

Like, can you just take your mind off of what you saw?

What did God keep you from that you didn't see?

I don't know about you. I know I'm not the only person

that was looking for some stuff to happen, but it never showed

up. Yeah, I was looking for a bad

doctor report, but it never showed up.

I was. I was looking for people to

flake on me, but it never showed up.

I was looking for people to give up on me, but it never showed

up. I was, I was looking, I was

looking to get caught when I was sneaking around in the streets

doing criminal things, but it never showed up.

I'm not praising doing criminal things, but I praise God for the

things I didn't get caught doing.

I'm not talking about getting away with it from God.

I'm not talking watch this. I'm not talking about things my

wife still don't know. She know everything.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know.

But what I am talking about is the things that didn't punish

me, the things that didn't enter my life.

And then it just destroyed my family.

It destroyed my mind. I I got high, but I still got my

mind. So I'm not going.

I'm not going to play with my life no more.

But thank God, when I did get high, it wasn't the one high

that killed me. It wasn't the one pill you

popped that put you in the hospital.

What did God keep you from that you never saw?

You might have got COVID, but you didn't see cancer.

You might have saw cancer, but you didn't see death.

What did God keep us from that we never ever saw?

Can somebody just right there say thank you, Jesus?

What did he keep us from? What, What, what accidents never

happened? You ever, you ever drove by that

car accident on the highway that just happened?

You, you ever been by something that hit something and didn't

hit you? You ever been in the hospital

for something you did or just you were sick, but next to you

somebody was dying? That's death on the other side

of the curtain. What accident never happened?

What betrayal never reached you? They could talk about you, but

but, but the darts didn't reach you.

He's just like, oh, there's all these darts around me.

It's darts that people shot but they didn't reach.

Or they hit you, but they didn't stick.

They they talked about you, but they didn't Pierce.

They gave up on you, but they didn't stick.

What what betrayal never reached you?

What, what disaster never formed because the hand of God

protected you. No weapon formed against you

shall prosper. Those are weapons that formed

that didn't prosper. What about the weapons that

couldn't form? Watch this.

The enemy tried to form a weapon, but he fumble it.

He tried to pull it back, but it didn't.

It didn't quite stick. What?

What momentum God didn't allow to build to take you out.

Well, did God interrupt immediately?

It was inconvenient, but it was immediately graceful.

Some of the greatest miracles in your life are the disasters God

prevented. Yeah, right.

We only count miracles. Like I was blind.

Now I see. What about?

I never got blind. Yeah, I was lame.

But now I walk. What about you?

Still got good legs. Why why why are miracles stuck

in the department of God rescued me.

What what the what, what if what if What about the miracle that I

don't got it? What about the miracle?

Everybody was getting sick around me, but I didn't get sick

right. Common flus have taken people

out. OK, what?

What about, oh, everybody getting sick around me?

Everybody getting I God protected me?

Yeah, question. What season should have broke

you Count them up, count them up, count them up.

But you still here. Like that's that.

That's where I get happy. But I'm still here.

Oh, I got I got seasons. I got seasons I can count that

should have took me out. Some of them was my fault.

Some of them was what? I ain't even giving the devil no

credit. OK, No, it's seasons that should

have taken me and my family out. Should have took my marriage

out. Watch this.

It can't wait. Here's here's here's here's

where you get mature, Natalia. Here's where you get mature.

When while I'm talking, you are like thinking about that season

could have took my daughter out, that season could have took my

son out, that season could have took my wife out, that season

could have took my Mama out, but my mama's still here.

So I got so much to praise God about what he brought me

through. But let me tell you, if that

thing would have killed my kid, it would have impacted me.

So since God kept it from killing my kid, I got to put a

praise on for what He did to you and what He did for you and what

He did for you and how He kept you and how He kept you and how

He kept you. The mature praise goes beyond

what He's doing for me. What God's doing in Lily's life

is what He's doing in my life. What God's doing in Judah's life

is what He's doing in my life. When you prosper, I prosper.

That's why I got you. Don't ever run out of appraise.

If you can't thank him for something he even did for you,

look around the room. When I think of what he's doing

in Andrew's life, it's the impact in my life.

Somebody shout out, I'm still here.

You should have collapsed under that pressure.

You should have lost your mind under that pressure.

You you should have lost your identity under that persecution.

You should have walked away. But somehow God sustains you.

Come on, shout out. I'm still here.

You've been grinding, you've been building, you've been

believing, you've been planning, you've been faith in.

And when life moves fast, it becomes easy to always look

forward. Because all you got energy for

is tomorrow. You don't even got energy for

tomorrow if you don't got energy for now.

If you ain't got energy for now, you ain't got energy for

tomorrow. But the Kingdom teaches

something. You guys different.

We look forward with hope, but we look backwards with

gratitude. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,

no, no for me, Andrew, if you've done anything in this community,

brother, this community should be a memorial.

You, you, you. Every time you drive around this

community, you should just maybe just ghost ride the whip, hop

out the car one day right where you used to do what you do and

put a praise on that spot. Reclaim the territory.

I I dare you to go back to a place that held you captive and

put a praise on it. I dare you, I dare you.

I dare you. I dare you today if you got the

ability to go to a bedroom that you used to be depressed in and

go in that bedroom and turn around.

Whoa, dance on that grave, dance on that grave, dance on that

grave. When, when we go, when we go do

shows at Gildan Co or clubs, man, you better, you better

understand. When I go in the club, I'm not

just going for no reason. Every time I walk in Gildan Co,

I'm dancing on the grave that I once stood in.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Every time we do a show in the

club, I go shake the the bartenders hands.

I go say how you doing? Y'all?

They don't know it, but y'all used to serve me the devil

syrup, man. I went over to the bartender.

I went and shook their hand at the end of the night the other

day and they and the bartender was like, thank you all for

coming back. You guys are phenomenal.

I remember y'all was here the last time and I was hoping y'all

would come back. It was phenomenal.

Now the bartender knows this phenomenal from a different

point of view, because when it's phenomenal, they keep they they

buy more drinks. When it's phenomenal, people

stick around so the bartender and you messing with their money

because if it ain't phenomenal, they're not getting tipped.

The bartender's like, I hope to see y'all again.

Every last one of them. What?

This is the place I used to stumble out of and now I go in

there. If you was there, This is why

people that don't understand why they going out are going out to

the club. So the only holy thing you do is

hand out food. So what about those people?

How do you reach those people? Watch this.

You give food to hungry people, right?

Right. The people in the club ain't

hungry. They're lost.

So what do you give them? You give them music.

That's what they showed up for. Music.

What if we went to Guilton Co handing out sandwiches?

They wouldn't look at us like we crazy.

They like we don't need none of this.

We're out to out for a good time, man, it was a moment.

TVI love those faces because it's the moment.

I don't want to get sidetracked, but I I think it's something to

understand how God takes territory back because under for

for several hours, for four hours, they were under our, our

authority. So you might be like, oh, but

how are they under your authority?

And they were buying liquor. So God doesn't show up because

there's liquor. So where did he meet you?

When I really met God, it wasn't it wasn't it?

Really. Look, I got to the altar because

he met me in the club. No, no, no, he, he, I was, he

was talking to me when I was getting high and he was still

loving me when I woke up the next morning and hungover

saying, I'm still here, son. Whenever you're ready to come

home. I'm still here, son.

So all we did was March into the club and tell God's children

whenever you're ready, He's still here for you.

He still loves you, right? We are a testimony.

We are a testimony. We are a testimony and I

remember the moment like the cool thing about those places is

most of the people don't know your music.

So you spend some of the time building relational equity.

If you skillful in how you set up your set.

So you're building relational equity.

And then there comes a time if you do your job well, you got

the room, man. It was.

It was a time the whole room was screaming Yahweh.

You, you just said the wrong name.

Watch this, watch this, watch this.

So, so I do read a scripture that that, that, that those that

confess his name. Now, I'm not saying right there

because your heart and your mouth got to be in alignment.

But what I do understand is you can't say his name without

heaven turning towards you, without something.

We, we, we understand life and death is in the power of the

tongue. The moment they cried out or

screamed out Yahweh, what they drink Yahweh, right, Right.

And So what you got to understand is you don't say his

name. He's a covenant God.

His name is covenant, you say a name that represents that is

covenant. Every last one of those people

received that seed, whether they know it or not.

You have folks on the dance floor.

Look, no, bring it down, bring it down.

Bring it down. Bring it down, bring it down.

You have to see what God is doing.

Somebody you don't know, watch this.

I was in the club, but my grandmama was praying me out.

I wish somebody would have showed up at one of the clubs I

was at and did dope music and was just like, I swagged out and

it was just like, whoa, that's an encounter you don't

understand. And then for those people to be

like, we want more of that. What we're about to see is

sometime the people out there get God more than the people in

here. My, my, I got the privilege of

having a wife who was an adult conversion versus growing up in

church. She don't like playing the

church people games. She because she didn't grow up

in all of that. So she got a little different

tolerance for church, but her conversion sometime I envy how

she encountered God. I was born in it.

So I don't know. It's like you born wealthy you

that's all you know is wealth. I I was born in it.

So I just been saved ever since I I came came out the womb.

But man, for somebody to encounter Jesus and they broken

this and I don't know about you, but you have a place that you

have a reference point of his goodness.

We are not turning back. We are building memorial.

Let's look at this Scripture. While Jesus was on the way to

Jerusalem, he was passing along the border between Samaria and

Galilee. As he entered a village, he was

met by 10. How many 10 lepers who stood at

a distance? Why were they standing at a

distance? Because it was Jewish customs or

law that if you were a leper you could not be close.

So they lepers were isolated people socially, spiritually and

physically. Somebody say at a distance it

may feel distant, but God still hears.

And they raised their voices and called out Jesus, Master, have

mercy on us. When he saw them, he said to

them, go and show yourself to the priest.

And as they went, they were miraculously healed and made

clean. How many of them was it?

10, One of them, one of them when he saw that he was healed,

turn back. All you got to do is turn

around. 1 out of 10 turned around once he noticed God

brought him out. Now I could challenge every

person in here that God has brought you out of at least one

thing in your life. This guy saw fit that it was

worth turning back, and if you turn back, you're turning away

from something. It was on his heart to turn

back, glorifying and praising and honoring God with a what?

Come on say. Loud voice with a loud voice.

Loud voice. Yeah, loud voice.

Shout out one time and he lay face downward on at Jesus feet

thanking him, not only thanking him because he was healed, but

watch this guy's. This is something that we may

not really do when God touches us, heaven touches us, he bows

representing noticing authority. Watch this.

He was thanking him over and over again, not just one Sunday,

not just when he feel like it, but over and over again.

He was a Samaritan. Why is that important?

Sometimes outsiders recognize grace faster than those that's

on the inside. Jesus asked.

We're not ten of you cleansed. Where are the other 9?

Was there no one found to return and to give thanks and praise to

God except this foreigner? Jesus said to him, get up and go

on your way. Your faith, your personal trust

in me and your confidence in God's power has restored you to

health. Anything that you don't get in

this, you can go listen to the stream this week from this

morning. I'm going over that.

But there's always things to continue to extract.

But I want to keep moving through it so we can try and get

a couple new things before we close.

The miracle happened as they went.

Somebody say as they went one more time, say as they went.

It wasn't as they stuck around and was like God, like why you

not doing nothing. It was as they went, as they

kept being faithful, as they kept serving, as they kept

sowing, as they kept loving, as they kept forgiving over and

over again. Every time you forgive somebody

that's saying thank you God over and over again.

Every time you sow is saying thank you over and over again.

Every time you get back up is saying is saying thank you over

and over again. Every time you love your

enemies, they're saying thank you over and over again.

Somebody shout out over and over again.

The miracle happened as they went.

They obeyed. Before they saw the

manifestation. They obeyed.

Before change came, they obeyed. Before they saw the

manifestation, they obeyed. Healing met them in motion.

Healing met them in faith. Healing met them in motion.

Somebody say motion. I'll say it again. 10

experienced the same miracle, but only one came back.

Why only 1? Here it is.

The war is against remembrance. You, you see stuff on social

media and now like, like they're, they're, they're, you

know, selling some AI stuff, selling apps, selling things to

help you strengthen your memory, your muscle memory and things of

that nature. And I get it.

There's science behind it. We're in the backwards talking

about Alzheimer's and dementia. That to me, to me, to me, that's

demonic. That's demonic.

But when's the last time you came against it?

Memory loss As you get older or as you are younger, the war is

against your and I memory. 10 men were healed, 10 men

experienced mercy, 10 men received a miracle, but only one

returned. Only one returned.

Only one honored or practice Thanksgiving.

Only one honored Jesus. What happened to their memory?

Luke 17 Jesus says where are the other 9?

Didn't I heal all of you? Why only one of you saw fit to

turn back? We could also look at this,

watch this talk into the room. Why only some of y'all in this

room find it fit to repent? Why don't some of y'all in here

as good as God's been, don't find God's goodness enough to

change? God's goodness enough to put

that thing down? God's goodness enough to stop

having potty mouth? God's goodness enough to stop

having a nasty attitude? God, whatever it may be, why

have you not saw fit to turn back?

Him coming back. It's like God healed me in spite

of my nastiness. We can look at leprosy as your

sin and God still tells you why you thought that you and God

wasn't close because of your filth.

God still healed you. Is it when?

When is it going to be the perfect time for you to turn

back? The enemy does not just fight

your future, he fights your memory of God's faithfulness,

because memory fuels faith. Faith, faith don't just come by

hearing. Watch this.

Faith comes by hearing what I remember.

There you go, John, right there, right there.

That's a nugget for you. Rather, I rehearse negativity or

rehearse the goodness of God. I will have faith for whatever I

remember. But I even deeper, I will have

faith for whatever I rehearse. I remember Jesus.

If the enemy can get you to forget what God did, he can get

you to question what God can and will do.

How'd that cinnamon roll? See ya.

You got people not is willing not to hear the word for your

cinnamon runs. They are distracted by your

sugar. Amen.

That's a blessing. You are anointed, but they

letting that sugar steal the word just it's right there.

I love I love them. I tried to say I I wouldn't

listen. Go buy all them cinnamon buns,

girl, when I think of what OK, he had a cinnamon bun.

Amen. Yes, Lord, Hallelujah.

You can't hide, Lindsay. Why you go back for why you

hiding way back there? Girl, just bring your cinnamon

bun in church girl. She back there like oh,

painting. That's that's crack right there

when you hide and you're like, come on one more night with the

frogs. Amen.

Just one more night. Don't tell me you came off the

camera for a cinnamon bug. Amen.

I thank God that some of you have allowed me to be that in

your life versus like all PT doing too much.

No, it's it's it's actually love.

I'm sorry. I actually value God's word.

I want I I know that's the only thing that can save your life.

You can set up a wisdom session all you want to.

If you don't do it God's way, you wasting your time and my

time. And we need more adults that

care about the young ones because we going to read later.

There was a whole generation put in the Bible and they were

marked by they did not know God's goodness.

I agree the cinnamon buns are great but the word is sweeter.

Are you living like God is faithful or are you living like

everything depends on you, huh? How y'all family's doing?

How y'all, how y'all couples doing all right?

Are you living like God's faith or are you living like it's all

on you? All the provision is on you?

All the change in your house is on you.

All the success in your business is on you because when memory

fades, pressure increases. Some of the pressure you're

experiencing in your life is because you forgot that he

brought you out when you didn't have nothing.

Now you got more than you ever had in your life and you think

you're the one going to sustain it.

He said. Is it the Holy Ghost that

brought you in and now all of a sudden you're going to work your

salvation out with just yo you? When you was broke, he brought

you out. When you was making $30,000 a

year, he brought you out. Now you're making $100,000 a

year. And now you are involved way

more than you need to be. Yeah, God the the blessing of

the Lord makes rich. It adds no sorrow.

Watch this. Why is God when he blesses

people in the Bible he always says, but do not forget me watch

this, watch this, watch this Eji just thought about it because

people think they remember him because they give him praise.

But when you really remember him, it shows up.

When pressure comes, you don't switch.

I am still look before before this blessing and before this

increase, I had a certain faithfulness to God's Kingdom or

I had a certain faithfulness to God's church or I had a certain

faithfulness to my spouse. But soon as increase come,

here's how I know that I forgot is because now I have to manage

what he blessed and that's not the stewards.

Adam never was afraid to go without sin made him afraid.

And a lot of times some of you are overworking because you

don't think you are able to keep up.

So you overwork because you don't trust you.

Watch this because there's something in us that knows that

we are not able to provide in the way that God impregnates us

with. God will never impregnate you

with a promise that only you can sustain.

And some of you, some of our marriages, I remember that

ministry, watch this as as, as as hard as we go in ministry.

Ministry will never tear up my marriage ever.

And that's what the devil is banking on is that you give your

mind to more hours of darkness than you do liked.

And so as we are praising God, as we are jogging each other,

the Bible says to stir up, to spur, it is our job to get each

It's in the Bible. Angels cried out to one another,

holy, holy, holy. And what, what would church look

like if when we walked in those doors, it was a known thing.

We put down whatever was outside.

make it from a flight or a drive, they every time my kids

for their kid to walk in the door, but they never will again.

And then how quick families get attitude with each other when

it's noisy in the house. Let them make noise.

That noise ain't going. What you going to do when it's

quiet in the house because they're not there?

The blessing of having noisy children.

The blessing of cleaning up spilled milk 30 times a day.

One day you not going to have the chance to clean up milk.

And then some parents, the stuff they stress over their kids and

then one day all of a sudden a kid not here car accident and

now they sleeping in their kids beds because they like if I had

one more day with my kid, I would let them yell at me.

I wish they had my kid in this house out man.

They can put all their underwear all over the house and I'll pick

them up If I could just have right.

It's crazy how when you don't have it, you're willing to do

anything to get it back. Let me tell you something.

Every time we come here on Sunday, this is not normal, that

you get to sit down and get a word right.

And what the enemy wants you to do is judge and critique and

who's preaching the word? He wants you to look at my

frailties and my mistakes. So you can't hear the word.

But watch this, no matter my mistakes, God's word still is

true. And that's the problem.

You're looking at me and you're not looking at God.

be grateful for just having what you got to every time you get in

The Bible commands us to remember, create memorials.

Psalm one O 3 says forget not right.

Forgetfulness is not just emotional state, it's a posture.

Forgetfulness is a posture, you hear me?

In Scripture, God often instructs his people to mark his

faithfulness. I want you families to see this.

He tells them to take 12 Stones as they cross the Jordan.

We only think promised land. We don't see process to promised

land. We only see he parted the Red

Sea. We don't see that they created a

more. We only see Noah getting out,

but we don't remember Noah made an altar and he said put the

take these stones because your children one day go ask you what

these stones are. In other words, I need you to do

something that's going that's going to provoke a question and

you going to tell them that the waters of the Jordan were cut

off. God got us across in high

season, high tide. There was no way that we were

supposed to make it in that season, but God performed a

miracle to assure our arrival at what He promised.

Memorials marked the ground of God's faithfulness.

today, what has God done in your family?

What stories would you tell? Would they know about the

miracles? Would they know about the

prayers? Would they know about the nights

God came through? See, when you're when you come

out of a bloodline of slaves, then, then, then gratitude marks

the bloodline. No matter, no matter what you

say about a people, It's something about people who have

been in slavery or have been treated in justly.

Because the only way I made it through was a praise.

But but then I knew the only way I made it out was his goodness.

So even in some of the areas family may have been ignorant or

less intelligent, One thing they had was a praise.

And what I do understand, and I'm going to read this in the

end, we we're in a region where you pride yourself on

intelligence and you are more cognitive, you are more cerebral

than you are a celebratory. And So what you have is a lot of

celebration comes from people who come from different parts of

the world because celebration is a part of their roots.

This country's more Christian because people came here

Christian because if we if we do not tell the story, the next

generation will never know the faithfulness of God.

Some of y'all afraid to close the chapter.

That's why you can't start the praise because if you forget

deliverance, guys, you drift back towards slavery.

Romans 8 tells us we're no longer slaves.

But when you forget, just know every time you forget, every

time you get yourself in a complaining cycle, you're

heading towards bondage. And here's the warning.

Judges too says there was a generation grew up that didn't

know anything of God. Watch this.

We have a generation, some of us in here.

We are raising families and your kids going to know how to work

hard. But if money ain't there, they

ain't going to know how to faith.

They ain't going now to persevere under pressure.

When people walk out on them, they're not going to know how to

stand right. What are you teaching your kids

confidences from? Where do your kids, where does

your family get confidence from? What miracle have you slowly

turned into an expectation? What miracle have you slowly

turned into an expectation? What blessing became normal?

What mercy became routine? Because familiarity with

blessing slowly silence his gratitude.

Can I give you 5 things that happen when you forget?

She. She.

Five things that happen when you forget #1 Entitlement replaces

gratitude. You turn that off.

Entitlement replaces gratitude. The Lord says my power and the

might of my hand produce this wealth.

This is called prosperity amnesia.

You, you forget God did it. You forget God prospered, You,

you forget. Man, let me tell you something

right now I look, ain't it funny when somebody else realized how

blessed you are and you try to deny it, right?

It's this simple. Somebody tell you, you look good

and you like stop. No, I don't, because you feel

not beautiful, or you feel unhealthy or you feel whatever,

you deny it. The same thing with God.

You, you're a man. Ain't nobody in here not

blessed. I don't care.

Put everything you going through on the altar, run your list

down, and then I'm gonna run God's down. yo-yo, what God has

done for you in one day can't. You can't even match what you're

going through. Not to deny what you're going

through, but come on, magnify the Lord with me #2 What happens

when we forget? Fear increases.

Psalm 7711. That's why he says I will

remember the deeds of the Lord. Why is this?

In the Bible, fear grows when memory shrinks.

He says they that you want to a man after God's own heart, no

matter his sin, he never forgot. It's crazy because his son built

God's a temple, right? This so.

So no matter the sin that was inherited, no matter the

negative ripple, faithfulness rippled as well #3 the third

thing that happens when we forget.

Idols multiply, idols multiply. Watch this substitutes for God

Well, even when you calm down, they don't mean you got peace.

time. People get familiar.

When gratitude disappears, honor disappears.

You know that person in your life that that's such a blessing

to your life, but you're focused on what they're not doing for

you. What you're, you're you're

you're complaining about how they're not showing up, but

you're ignoring all of this. It's it's that Adam and Eve

center. He just just don't eat from this

one tree. Oh, you want to focus on this

one thing that person's not doing for you.

And now honor erodes. And now, before you know it, the

enemy got your mind and now he can whisper to you.

And when honor disappears, watch this relationships fracture.

Yeah, you might like me, but you don't honor me.

This might be your church home, but it don't mean you honor your

church. If you honor your church, you

had certain conversations you just wouldn't even allow to

enter your life. If you honor your pastors, your

elders, your friends, there's certain things you just wouldn't

entertain, you wouldn't do. But there was a time you'd throw

these things, but because you forgot, you forgot what this

place meant to you. You forgot watch this.

You forgot what God said this place meant to you.

And #5 the fifth thing, when we forget, watch this very

important testimony, culture dies.

prayer. Prayer wasn't just like sit

there Father God. No, it was just like go around

and say, can you tell me what God is doing?

then guess what? You know how you go to museums,

show you all them little places because why it takes so long?

It must not going to be happening.

You know who's providing for the building?

people like churches that's close to where they live.

down there. I ain't got to drive over there.

I go to this church. But do you know the people, the

lost people? Do you know how many people

moving over there? More than enough to fit our

building. Yeah, If no one tells the story,

faith becomes theory instead of memory.

And then five things that happened when we do remember #1

faith rises. Testimony is oxygen to faith.

Testimony is oxygen to faith. My lungs expand when I begin to

testify. That's in the Bible.

My lungs expand when I put the praise of God on my lips.

Testifying helps me breathe better.

Testimony is oxygen for faith #2 Second thing that happens is joy

stabilizes when we remember the joy of the Lord is your strength

and your stronghold. Number three thing.

The third thing that happens when we remember is worship

becomes strong, praise becomes right.

It's totally different when you worship from revelation.

That's why some folks can't lift their hands because they don't

got no revelation. Oh, these his hands, yes Sir,

God's been good. Yes, I'm going to give him

everything. If I can lift whatever I'm going

to give it everything word should become strong.

Praise becomes real, not hype, not music, but memory.

How can I sit down when I remember his goodness?

What the goodness of God should just cause like like what gets

you excited? You get excited about going out

to a nice dinner and you see you get that film excitement or that

that good song man, come on the memory of the goodness of God.

He's been faithful from generation to generation.

Number four thing when we remember generations gain

identity. Come on, come on.

People don't understand that testimony forms character,

right. My kids, my kids know the

goodness of God. They're not just observing.

stories sitting there, but they hear it over and over.

So you know when they get married, do you know the kind of

They heard of how we could have gave up.

They heard of how it was hard. They heard about the first five

years. There's things you all know

about my life. They heard how God brought us

out of them tents. You see how God blessed us and

we didn't have to watch the tents this winter.

You don't think he got friends? But where's his mom and his

parents one time. Met his mom one time, but boy, I

don't got to meet them to know his parents was faithful, right?

Faithful faithfulness. But watch when, when, when,

when, when, when, when there ain't no quit in the bloodline.

When your kids don't see quit and wavering and hopping all

over the place and they don't see no, we need faithfulness in

a generation. These I know their kids been

seeing their parents get hurt. I've heard the stories.

So how did mommy and daddy handle people hurting them?

And then how how they handled it determine how they handled it

and how they handled it taught them how to handle it when it

happened to them when they gone. So is it worth fixing your

marriage? Absolutely.

So you can get divorced out of your bloodline, So you and you

and your wife might tolerate each other, but the next

generation, they ain't going to have no intimacy.

They ain't going to never know what public affection looks

like. They ain't going to never hear

that daddy called a Mama. Sweetie, honey, you OK?

They ain't going to never see yo-yo Mama or your dad.

No, you are modeling generation to generation.

So it's worth fixing that marriage.

It's worth fighting for your health.

It's worth fighting for your mental health.

It's worth your kids saying, I don't got to, I don't got to ask

my kid to go out there and work out and and chase his NBA dreams

He saw his daddy on his treadmill, he saw his Mama, he

saw his Mama and his daddy running.

Was it matter if we wanted to or not?

So now when he got to grind for what's his, when he got to fight

for his health, he's not just like, how do I do that?

kids the basics might have the door to give them the poison.

So sometimes daddy ain't never took daughter nowhere and some

guy come along and take him. But they were that person

because they never experienced that.

That son never experienced affection.

So the first person that show him affection now has his heart.

And now once he has his heart, now I can testifying his

protection as well. Generations gain identity lastly

#5 identity becomes firm. What a shame it would be if we

drag our kids to church, raise our kids in church.

They get older and they walk away from church because it was

just church. See, church don't keep people

like that. But when people understand the

God that they serve, like think about what the Bible is, it's

listen, people want to argue about the Bible and really it's

God just left us a testimony. OK, Old Testament, New

Testament. It's showing God's faithfulness

throughout generations throughout history.

And we sitting here arguing and can't just focus on what God's

good in in judges got the oh that's wrong.

You can't speak God's good. He's good in Genesis.

He's good in Leviticus, He's good in Exodus, he's good in

Deuteronomy. He's good.

He's good in January, he's good in April.

May, he's good. Ain't that the good news?

appreciate where have you gotten so familiar is I don't even

bring flowers. I don't even bring a balloon no

more. It's just happy birthday.

It's where have you in your marriage?

Where are you just so familiar? That's just my husband.

Your husband like surprises too. And some husbands like flowers.

It don't got to be a birthday. Let me help culture.

Females ain't the only ones that like spontaneous gifts,

spontaneous attention. Don't.

Don't celebrate me casually when you caught me with excitement.

Culture wants you to think that one gender likes this more than

the others. Where?

Where have you stopped celebrating your spouse?

Watch this. Where are you tired of

celebrating them? Be careful, even when they

birthday come around, you kind of celebrate it, but you

celebrate everybody's with like don't celebrate your kids more

than you celebrate your spouse. Where has gratitude drifted?

I just declare we're a House of praise and a house that marks

the ground of God's faithfulness.

We cannot stop remembering. We cannot stop remembering

because I personally feel like a part of Love Quest's journey for

these last eight years or however long it's been.

It's been a long time for my wife and I, but it's like the

children in the wilderness. I am just coming in the point,

I'll be honest, where I haven't stopped fighting, but I've let

my faith rest. No, no, no, that that sounds.

I haven't stopped faith thing. Elder Brett, I've just turned

the deadline over to God. I'm not getting through the

ribbon. He's going to bring me through

the ribbon. And if it's five more years, if

it's two more years, if it's two months, if it's two weeks, I am

not waiting for anything but God.

The pressures of meeting other people's expectations, can we

put those down? Can you think as we close can

you think of one thing one thing that God has brought you through

or out of and if you're flooded with 10 every everyone thank you

Lord, thank you Lord. But what I challenge you is as

the Holy Spirit brings that memory back to the faithfulness

of God. If you're if you're not ashamed,

just give God some sort of praise.

Rather it's quiet, rather it's a shout, rather it's a dance,

rather the music fits the pace, rather it's you lift your hands

rather it's you on your knees. But today what I want to end is

I want to memorialize this place.

When we give our offering today, let it be a memorial offering.

Let it be something that's saying God you did it before you

going to do it again not you can do it again you going to do it

again. I want to end this day with

grad. I don't care what you're going

through. Watch this couples if you

beefing with your spouse, maybe this is a time where you grab

their hand and y'all be thankful together.

I promise you, a house divided cannot stand.

That's the Bible and God does not go back on His word.

If you don't leave unified, then you are giving the enemy.

So are you OK taking the next couple of minutes to remember

rise from within your belly as the Holy Spirit brings to

There's something about the memory.

Go for it. You at home, even if you want to

write it down, however your brain works, you want to write

it down, whatever it is. But don't distract yourself from

responding with a praise. Respond with a worship, respond

with gratitude. Today we are switching our

posture. Negativity will not be the

landlord of my mind. This is why the Bible hates and

shuns gossip. Because gossip.

It causes you to forget the goodness of God that is in

people, the goodness of God that God is doing in the land.

With our phones, all we can do is look at negativity all day.

So there's a fight for our memory.

But right now I come against if it's in your bloodline.

I come against dementia in the name of Jesus.

Your grandmama, your daddy, your, your Mama may have had it,

but I break it now in the name of Jesus.

I break the spirit of Alzheimer's in the name of

Jesus. I declare over your life you

shall live long life and be satisfied.

I declare you will have a witty mind in your old age.

In the name of Jesus. Your faculties will work as God

has planned in the name of Jesus.

So Lord, we thank you for a healthy mind.

We thank you for a healthy brain.

We thank you in the name of Jesus, for a healthy spirit.

We thank you for a healthy soul. Edify us now in the name of

Jesus. What the Word says.

We have the mind of Christ, Lord, when we remember like

Jesus remembered, come on right where you are.

Just remember, gratitude can't stay quiet too long.

Come on. So as you meditate, as you

meditate, allow the Holy Spirit to stir up gratitude.
