Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International

Church podcast, where we seek to love all nations, equip the

church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.

you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get

your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe

some tea and get ready to receive.

Let's get into. It Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen.

Give God a big old shout of praise one more time.

Hallelujah. You can be seated in the

presence of a faithful God. How many people over the last

couple days had the chance to remember the faithfulness of

God? Ain't it funny how no matter

what, on default, we remember the sin, we remember the mess

up, remember what we remember was not going right.

But how many people intentionally paused this week?

I know it's only been two days, three days, but how many people

intentionally paused this week and remembered the goodness of

God? How many people found themselves

saying thank you just a little bit more?

Write this down really quickly. Territory is being taken back

because memory is coming back. Territory is being taken back

because memory is coming back. Say that with me.

Yeah. Say it one more time till we get

in your Holy Ghost. One more time territory.

Because memory. Yeah, that's the why.

Father, we thank you in the name of Jesus.

That memory of your faithfulness is here.

It's kind of like when people are in a coma and they're coming

out of it. I declare that your children are

coming out of a coma. Yeah.

Coming out of the coma of ungratefulness or depression.

The a coma of stress and anxiety.

The the a coma of forgetfulness, Lord.

And we are stepping into the memory of your faithfulness, the

memory of your goodness, the memory of who we are in you.

Father, tonight. Remind us who we are as we

reflect on who you are. Lord remind us of who we are.

Come against error, we come against false humility.

And we just thank you, Father, tonight we take ownership of our

greatness. Yeah, don't get uncomfortable

saying yes, I am great. Why am I great?

Because I'm a child of God, my daddy grade.

Well, I'm would not be great. He ain't.

He didn't create nothing that wasn't great.

If you ain't, if you ain't too scared, just say I'm great.

And if you need to just say because he great.

See, that's we already know he great, right?

But for some people, we got to remind them that we're not

saying we're the greatest or we're God.

We're not saying that. We're just saying that he is

great and we are great because he has made us great.

We started a Series A few Wednesdays ago.

Anybody remember what it was? Yeah.

Faith, foes and family. Faith, foes and family.

The fight for legacy. Somebody shout out the fight for

legacy and we introduced these three frameworks that we're

going to work with. Can you remember they start with

E she said love equip, mobilize, serve.

We are going to deal with faith, foes and family.

We, this is going to be last night for midweek.

Take that off. It's going to be the last, last,

last night of midweek or or shall I say Wednesdays for a

while. And for those that didn't know

that, now you know, but we want to focus on discipleship.

We want to focus on discipleship and I feel like the Lord is

really calling us to grow up and mature.

And it's one thing to come get some word and sit and and and

listen corporately. It's another thing to be

accountable to a leader and and grow based on accountability.

People come, people go. The church does not value what

the church what you will get. More people gather in a house in

a house community group, then you will a midweek service.

We take these gatherings for granted and we want more

community than we want corporate gatherings in this way, which is

totally fine, but we want to make sure that we are making

disciples and we are maturing Saints.

That is the reason why we are going to do what we're going to

do. So for for a few months, it is

going to be groups, seven groups or so led by executive

leadership. That is all four of our elders,

my wife and I and Pastor Dylan. And then we are going to expand

that because within those seven, we are training up about 6 or

seven or eight or nine people that will in a few months, they

will, we're going to send them two by two and they will run

their own groups. At that point is when we're

going to open it up to the church.

Right now, what we are doing here, be out.

We are equipping leaders for you.

But I believe it's cute to have people at your house.

But if you are hosting people in a discipleship matter, you are

pastoring to an extent. And we want to make sure if you

like, I want to go to such and such house, that such and such

is equipped to lead you and that group.

And so stay tuned. And some of you have been

contacted, some of you may have not That's OK.

You have not been forgotten about.

But we are really going to focus on making disciples.

We we want to pour into those that want to be matured.

Yeah, we want to. We want to pour into those that

want to be held accountable, who want to be sharpened, who want

to be LED. We don't want to waste our time

pouring out to people who just want to hang out and we can hang

out. But biblically speaking,

community was birthed out of discipleship.

OK, and so tonight we just going to close close tonight out and

hopefully it's good. I believe it will be, but I'm

going to take a a little angle and and try and sum this thing

up and and we're going to go on our way.

Psalm one O 7, verse 2 says let the redeemed of the Lord say so,

whom he has delivered from the hand of the adversary.

Somebody say let the redeemed of the Lord say so, say that's me.

Acts 420 says it's impossible for us to stop speaking about

all the things we've seen and heard.

Somebody say it's impossible. Somebody say I've seen too much,

Come on. Somebody say I've heard too

much, Come on. We've been dealing with faith,

foes and family. And these two verses we just

read, listen, if God has redeemed you, you have something

to say. You don't just got a church to

go to. If you've been redeemed, you

also got a word in your mouth. If God has redeemed you, you

have something to say. Just put the next slide up

there. Please, please, thank you.

If hell works overtime to mute believers, hell works overtime

to mute you. Are you a believer?

Hell works overtime to mute believers because when faith is

unmuted, chains start falling. Can I speak to your spirit more

than just on the board? OK, look, look, look.

Hell works overtime to mute the believer because when faith is

unmuted, chains start falling. Say tonight I'm about to be

unmuted. When we finally speak up.

When we finally speak up, our family and city will go from

unmuted to Unchained family. Listen, for the last several

weeks we have been walking through something important.

We have been talking about faith, family, and foes.

We saw Daniel stand in Babylon with a faith that refused to

bow. We learned that when real faith

shows up, opposition eventually follows because the enemy does

not always attack loudly. Sometimes the attack is subtle.

It's cultural. It's quiet.

Then, then, then we go to last week and we talked about

something powerful and it was remembrance.

Somebody shout out remembrance, because one of the most

dangerous things that can happen to believers is not persecution,

it is forgetfulness. You think of the human race, you

start losing your mind. Your, your, your, your, your

abilities are compromised when memory.

You can't hold a job if you can't remember.

You can't hold a relationship if you don't remember right.

Have you ever been in a relationship and all they can

remember is what you did bad, but they don't remember what you

did good right? Or when you get an argument,

they'll bring up stuff that happened last year.

Watch this, Watch this EJ The Bible says that love don't

remember wrong. Let's go deeper with love.

Love holds no record of wrong. Love don't remember wrong.

How about that for memory verse? Because look, look, look, look,

look. Psalm, Psalm 103, verse 2 says

Psalms 103:2

this. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and

forget, not forget, not forget. Not all of his benefits.

And throughout Scripture, God constantly calls his people to

what? Remember, Remember the Red Sea,

remember the wilderness provision, remember the

victories, remember the faithfulness of God.

Because when remembrance fades, testimony fades.

And when testimony fades, faith begins to weaken.

But when the people of God begin to remember, the voice returns.

Memory activates voice. Some of you lost your voice

because you forgot in your most muted moments in your life.

It is because you forgot God in that moment.

Think about it. You are your most mute.

When you remember wrong, you are your most mute.

When you remember sin, you are your most mute.

When you're suffocated by shame, you are your most mute.

When you are pointing the finger, you are your most mute.

And spiritually speaking, a mute believer is a non effective

believer. And when your voice returns,

things begin to change. When your voice returns, things

begin to change. Watch as the enemy is not only

after your faith, he is after your voice.

Am I talking to anybody? Because if he can silence your

voice, he can limit your influence.

He can limit your influence for the Kingdom of God.

Tonight we talking about something the enemy has worked

overtime to do in the church and that is muting the redeemed.

Muting the redeemed. One way He mutes us is not

shutting our voice, but getting getting something else in our

voice, getting us speaking death, getting us speaking

negative, getting us complaining and gossiping and murmuring.

Guess what? When you loud for hell, you are

silent for heaven. You are making no impact for God

when you are complaining. So he mutes testimonies.

Watch this. He mutes testimonies.

But tonight we are talking about something different.

We are talking about shattering the mute button.

When the redeemed start talking, when the redeemed start talking,

when the redeemed start talking, the dead start walking.

When the redeemed start talking, when we open our mouth and say

what thus says the Lord, everything changes.

When gratitude fills your heart, testimony fills your mouth,

because remembrance always produces a voice.

The devil does not fear your church attendance, he fears your

testimony. Because when the redeemed start

talking, change start breaking. Come on, come on the where my

redeemed people at there are keys inside your testimony that

unlock things for families and cities and generations.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.

My family is free, my city is free, my Co workers are free.

My mind is free. My finances is free.

My yeah, yeah, yeah. I got my mind back in the name

of Jesus. In the name of Jesus.

Acts 8 says this. Saul wholeheartedly approved of

Stephen's death. Saul, I need you to pay

attention to this. The man we're we're we're not

talking about Paul, who wrote the letters right now.

We're talking about Saul. And I've never seen this

perspective until just now. We're talking about Saul.

Saul. Saul approved of Stephen's

death. Deacon Steph Paul approved it.

Saul approved it before Saul was Paul, and when Paul was Saul, he

approved the death of Stephen. So I was just like, oh, Paul can

write these letters because he also felt the power of the

believer, yes, of God. But I want you to see what

Saul's persecution activated. No wonder he became one of us.

Yeah, yeah. Take your mind there.

This is this is this is Paul who approved a believer's death.

Take your mind there. This is the same man that wrote

First Corinthians 13, same man that wrote to the Church of

Ephesus, same man who was the spiritual father of Timothy,

same man. So in one season he's writing

letters for death, the next season he's writing letters for

life. That's a whole nother sermon.

And on that day, a great and relentless persecution broke out

against the church. In what?

In what? In what?

Just real quick, just a little thought to plug in your mind.

This is the same place that Jesus says go and wait in, and

when the Holy Spirit comes up on you, you will receive power, you

will be my witnesses, and you will go to where you got that.

You got that. OK, OK.

He told them they was going to go.

He didn't say how they was going to go.

He just said they was going to go.

And the believers were all what? Scattered throughout the region

of what? I told you.

You was going to go. Yeah.

But I didn't. I didn't.

I didn't. I didn't know I was.

I thought. I thought I was just going to

get filled with the Holy Ghost. And the Holy Ghost was going to

lead me to Samaria. I didn't know persecution was

going to lead me to Samaria. All scattered throughout the

region. Some devout men buried Stephen.

Some devout men buried Stephen and mourned.

Somebody, say, mourned greatly over him, expressing a personal

sense of loss. But Saul began ravaging the

church and assaulting believers. Who is this Saul?

Some of us know him as Paul, entering house after house and

dragging off men and women, putting them in prison.

Now those believers who had been scattered went from place to

place talking that talk. Now, now we can just move ahead

just for a second, not not on the slides, but I just thought

about something. So yes, Jesus neck met Paul on

the road to Damascus. But but if, if Paul hadn't, if

Saul had not experienced this believer, how effective would

his encounter with Jesus be? He's the Lord of the harvest.

I believe Jesus met him to cash in on some seed that has been

sown in Saul's heart. Saul just persecutes.

Saul just kills. Saul just ravages.

He scatters the church. Saul don't realize he's

scattering the church he's about to write to one day.

The. Church is scattered and in their

scattering, what do they do? It's up there.

What do they do? They preach the word.

The church had just what at this time they didn't have another

church to go to. They just only could be the

church. This little side note, the

church had just experienced what trauma Stephen had just been

executed. Guys watch this.

The first Christian martyr so we understand that grief and fear

is stick in the air. The church had just experienced

real trauma. Not saying your trauma not real.

But for real though, the church was scattered #2 so the church

in this moment is experiencing what trauma and they are what

scattered. The enemy thought he was

shutting the church down while God was actually sending the

church out. What the enemy meant for OK, OK.

So persecution became the pressure that pushed the gospel

forward. This is watch, watch COVID.

Why are we trying to get the doors open?

Maybe that was the moment that pushed us out.

So the gospel can get out, not the church can go back in.

So persecution became the pressure that pushed the gospel

out where the church was scattered.

Acts 181, you can see it up in the corner, says believers were

scattered through Judea and Samaria.

Watch this ordinary or watch this ordinary.

Believers became the messengers. Ordinary believers became the

messengers. Ordinary believers became the

messengers. Watch this.

Not apostles. The apostles stayed.

Y'all went. Y'all got scattered.

We stayed where we was. Real church.

Who advanced? The church?

The apostle. No, no, no, no, no, no.

Who kept the message going forward?

They who scattered it, he was an ordinary believer.

Y'all see why discipleship is important?

Because the church has made it all about the people on the

platform do the work. That's not Bible Ephesians 4.

Paul tells us later. He said man, I persecuted them

Christians. I saw the apostles in Jerusalem,

but what no Christians around. They scattered and all of a

sudden it's the gospel spread so clearly he can he can get a

revelation like Jesus gave some apostles, prophets, pastors to

do what to equip the Saints to be scattered.

Our vision is what it's your term hero, love, equip,

mobilize, serve. Watch this this word right here.

When it says that they went out to preach, it means to announce

good news. They they, they went out to

announce good news. The enemy does not fear church

attendance, he fears testimony. They conquered him completely

through the blood of the Lamb and the powerful word of his.

What testament? They conquered him completely.

They triumphed because they did not love and cling to their own

lives even when faced with death.

So rejoice, you heavens and every heavenly being, stay with

me. The blood purchased victory, but

testimony announces victory. The blood purchased it, but

testimony announces it. Watch this.

Revelations 1210 calls Satan the accuser of the brethren.

You following the accuser of the brethren.

The accuser of the brethren. In Greek this is a courtroom

word. It means a prosecutor bringing

charges. The enemy is the accuser of the

brethren, a prosecutor bringing charges.

The enemy enemy operates through accusations.

He's a whisperer. He accuses believers before God.

He accuses believers to themselves.

He accuses you. You ain't enough.

You messed up. Somebody going to come get you.

Somebody out there lying on you. Somebody going to find some dirt

on you, somebody go. He accuses to yourself, and then

he accuses believers to each other.

You see it all day. You see it if you got eyes to

see, you see it all day. But Revelations 1211, the

believer's weapon to overcome the accusations is by #1 the

blood of the Lamb. Jesus canceled the record of

debt that stood against us. The cross settled every charge

#2 The way we overcome the accuser of the brethren is we

overcome by the word of our testimony.

So number one, it's the what blood of the lamb #2 it is the

word of our testimony. It is what the blood has done.

Testimony. Watch this testimony functions

like evidence in a courtroom. So when the enemy accuses you of

something, you come right back with a rebuttal and you say,

well, the evidence that I got shows something different.

You want to come and say I'm sick?

Well, the evidence I got says by his stripes I am the healed and

not the sick. You want to tell me I'm going to

be broke all the days of my life?

Nope. But the evidence that I got says

that all of my knees shall be provided by his riches in glory.

He says give and it shall be given.

Pressed down, shaken together, He says, my God can do

exceedingly abundantly above. Oh see, I got evidence and way

too much. You're listening to what the

enemy is saying and you are mute.

You're not opening your mouth. You cannot push back darkness by

thinking, somebody say I got evidence, somebody say I got

overwhelming evidence and #3 you got to look at it.

It says they also overcame by covenant loyalty.

They love not their lives, even unto death.

It was not about them and their convenience and their comforts.

They were willing, even while their lives was threatened, to

go out and share their testimony.

Here's the problem. Here in North America, we love

us more than we love God. And it's crazy because we don't

even love us. We way too important.

We way more important our agenda way more important what somebody

else said is more important than what he said.

Testimony is not just encouragement, you guys,

testimony is spiritual warfare. Some folks don't even know how

to testify. They like, oh, this is the

testimony. He paid my bills.

I'm sorry that that's not a testimony.

That is that is not a blood bought testimony.

Oh, I grew up around it. Most testimonies is something

he's done Monetary because most of our testimonies is a response

to an answer prayer for something monetary.

If nothing else monetary comes in your life.

You have a testimony every day for the rest of your life.

Every time a believer declares what God has done, the

accusations of the enemy lose authority.

Am I talking to somebody tonight?

Somebody say every time. Every time the believer declares

what God has done and what God has said, the accusations of the

enemy lose authority. So if it loses authority, I just

got to keep on talking. And I believe his, His grip is

getting weaker every time I open my mouth.

Yes, this too shall pass. I'm going to say his love is

relentless. At 8, when believers were

scattered, they were not just sharing stories, they were

declaring evidence of crisis victory.

They were sharing evidence. This is what the resurrection

represents. It is the evidence of victory.

Everywhere that testimony went, darkness had to retreat.

Wherever the testimony went, Wherever the testimony went,

wherever the testimony went, darkness had to retreat.

Watch this if you are with anybody that is working against

your testimony, either trying to pause it, try to throw dirt on

it, trying to delay it, trying to to to whatever it is.

If someone is working against your testimony, they're not for

you. We're not talking because you

talking against my testimony. You sound more like you on the

enemy side. There's 3 powers of the voice of

faith, three powerful things of the voice of faith.

Three. Number one, it releases faith

and others. I don't know where I did.

But number one, sorry, somehow it dropped off the face of the

iPad. But thank God, I document in two

places. The power of the voice of faith

#1 the voice of faith breaks silence.

It breaks silence, it breaks silence.

Acts 84 says those that were scattered, they went about

preaching the word. They refuse to be silent.

Scripture says let the redeemed of the Lord what say So say

something. The voice of faith #2 releases

faith in others. When you talk faith, it releases

faith. It releases hope.

Faith comes by what hearing. So faith travels through sound.

Faith travels through sound. Your testimony may be the key

that awakens faith in someone else's heart.

David, watch this and the power of his remembrance.

Psalm 77 I want you to see something with me.

Psalm 77 he was overwhelmed and questioning God.

He says like will the Lord reject me forever?

Has his love ceased? That's verse.

Watch this 7 through 9. Now follow me to verse 11.

Then he makes a decision and watch this 2 verses down.

He says I will remember the works of the Lord.

He goes from pity party, he goes from feeling sorry for himself,

he goes from complaining, he goes from speaking the reality

of his circumstance. And then he says, wait a minute,

God ain't going to make me change my stance.

I have to make a choice because watch this.

All I got to do is say what's there.

I am choosing to focus on the negative.

I will remember the works of the Lord.

That's what the angels hearken to.

The angels don't hearken to you. No, watch this.

Ain't no angels at your pity party.

Ain't no angels feeling sorry for you.

But the moment you make a decision, I will bless the Lord

at all times, and his praise shall continuously pee in my

mouth. That's when angels start getting

up. Uh oh, I heard somebody.

I hear faith. I hear hope angels are employed

to hope and faith. Look what he says in verse 12.

I will meditate also upon your works and consider all your

mighty deeds your way. O God, is this in the sanctuary,

in holiness, away from sin and guilt?

Who is a great God like our God? His hope?

Wait a minute, He said, who is great like our God?

But a few verses before he said, Well, God, stop loving me.

You are the God who does wonders.

You have demonstrated your power among the peoples.

You have with your mighty arm redeemed your people, the sons

of Jacob and Joseph. Salah, this is wild.

This is what you know. How many people just choose this

to loathe in their beds, to just choose to believe the report of

the accuser instead of declaring what God has says and putting

their eyes on him? Watch this.

When the waters at the Red Sea and the Jordan watches, he's

remembering. He is stirring up his memory.

He said when the waters at the Red Sea and the Jordan saw you,

oh God, they were afraid of you. When the waters saw you, the

deep shuddered also, for all the waters saw you.

When the clouds poured down water, the sky sent out a sound

of rumbling Thunder. Your arrows went forth in forth

lightning. David did not wait for

circumstances to change. He strengthened his faith by

rehearsing testimony. Faith weakens when memory fades.

Faith strengthens when testimony is remembered.

David, remember that David made a choice and this other one is

The voice of faith opens cities. The the voice of faith opens

cities. The voice of faith opens the

heavens over cities. Acts 8 five through 8.

Deacon Philip goes to Samaria. One believer opened his mouth.

One believer opened his mouth. Watch this and great crowds of

people with 1 accord listened to and heeded.

That was said by Phillip as they heard him and watched the

miracles and wonders which he kept performing from time to

time. Verse 7.

For foul spirits came out of many who were possessed by them,

screaming and shouting with a loud voice.

And many who were suffering from palsy or were crippled were

restored to health. And there was great rejoicing in

that city. He didn't say there was great

rejoicing in all cities. It was great rejoicing in that

city. That's how you should look when

you screaming. And there was great rejoicing in

that city. The Bible said demons be loud.

One believer opened his mouth a city experienced joy and cities

change When believers speak man we sound man.

If you if if somebody closed their eyes and walk around with

some of us, they wouldn't be able to tell from the world or

save person something we some of y'all don't sound like the

redeemed of the Lord. It says redeemed of the Lord say

so redeemed of the Lord say so. Worldly people say so.

Psalm 145 As we tie this into family, one generation shall

praise your works to another, and shall declare your mighty

and remarkable acts. The message says this generation

after generation stands in all of your work.

Each one tells stories of Your mighty acts.

Faith travels through testimony. One generation will tell of your

works to another. Faith travels through testimony.

Families drift when the stories stop being told, but when the

stories return, faith becomes the culture of the house.

Faith becomes the culture of the house.

Who will go back to Acts 420? We cannot help speaking about

what we have seen and what we have heard.

What would church look like if folks came in here sharing the

goodness of God to one another unasked?

No, no, no, no. Elder Brett got a welcome.

What if our What if? Our musicians, when they was up

here, they prayed while they was up here, not look like they was.

Bored watch this because he says the city.

Was changed because they saw and heard.

Right. The only people up here that.

Open their mouth ain't people with mics.

So what I understand. Is I actually have a choice to

get things moving? That this all I'm saying.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with not talking, but I am

saying if you got a choice to get things moving, why not talk?

Why not open? Your mouth if you knew.

That the power of life is in your mouth so so if I got power

in my mouth, then how long can I keep my mouth shut when I know

that there are sick people in here when I know there's people

being tormented when I understand that I got freedom in

my mouth and I'm. An ambassador of Jesus.

Christ, how long will I go around and and I know the devil

is at work in the house. Where the Spirit of the Lord is,

there's. Freedom because there's

believers opening their mouth, arresting demons because watch

this, I have said in church and people stay bound, what happens?

With the atmosphere, with believers.

Praying the whole service. Yeah, you can breathe.

You can pause for a minute. Oh, I'm behind the Lord.

You're good Lord, you're faithful man.

I didn't set in church services where I've seen mothers just

shout out of nowhere because while they're in the.

House of God. They can't help but to remember

they're not so intellectual. They're just waiting for a slide

to come up being. In the presence of God.

They're they're so grateful. So even during the service that

watch this when we're preaching guys, it is it is it is to to to

move forward what God is trying to do in you.

So watch this more than a slide. You should be more aware of his

presence. You see people all the time

looking up on the slide. When, when the next one going to

come up? When the next oh wait, is it is

it up there or is he just talking?

Is it up there or is he just talking?

Not once have you said Hallelujah while we trying to

figure out stuff because this is not my salvation.

What? What happens when people.

Keep their minds stayed on Jesus at least at church that's what

we come for right when you eat have you ever seen have you ever

went to a burger joint you seen the lazy that like the lazy

person in the back and. Then you see the hard workers.

The hard workers, always. Doing they flipping burgers,

they fries, they're looking at receipts, they do.

I'm at work, I'm at work, I'm at work, I'm at work.

When I come in this church, I'm at work and a part of my work is

to release the goodness of God. My work is here.

My work is here. When I come to church, I

understand that this is the headquarters of freedom.

I'm not sitting here waiting for what PT going.

To do what Elder John them going to do, who going to come up and

do a welcome? What's going on, man?

I've seen musicians be so locked in that they can't even play

because the Lord hit them real quick one time and they had to

get up and walk or they had to stand up and lift their hands

because while playing they've got reminded of the goodness of

God. Oh man, I didn't my hands.

I used to use these hands to stone people.

Now God used in my hands to deliver people.

Hallelujah. We get so comfortable in.

Our jobs and our duties and our our what we how we serve, not

knowing that we are at our post because that's where God going

to talk to us, not just talk through us.
