I'm the Young Adults pastor here at Venture Church. Honored

to get to lead our amazing young adults that we've

got here, adventure, Quick show hands. How have you guys

been enjoying the sun the last couple of days. Yeah,

it's amazing. Sun comes out and just everybody's mood turns around.

It's the best. Quick show hands. How many of you

guys here on a boat? I'm kidding, don't please, don't

raise your hand.

I saw off you.

Imagine like you raise hands, then everybody wants to hang

out with you after today.

That's kind of how it goes. I would want to

hang out with you.

So, hey, I am honored to get to share with

you all today. We are wrapping up a series that

we've been in the middle of over the last four

weeks called Stressed. You guys have been enjoying the series

so far. I get the chance to wrap things up

this morning, and I'm very excited. We're gonna take a

look at God's word and see what he has to

say to us. So I would love it if you

would turn in your bibles to Matthew. Chapter six versus

twenty five to thirty four is going to be where

we'll be this morning. Matthew, Chapter six, verses twenty five

to thirty four. We have been talking over the last

four weeks on all sorts of We've been talking about anxiety,

we've been talking about stress, we've been talking about the

battle of our mind. Anybody less stressed because of the

last four weeks. Okay, sounds good, really great? Sorry, boys,

all right, Matthew Chapter six, verses twenty five to thirty four.

If you have your Bibles, you could follow along. I

encourage you with a pen or with a highlighter, just

write venture on what is it?

May third, so.

You can come back to it if you come across

this passage again. But Matthew, Chapter six, twenty five to

thirty four, these are Jesus' words, and he says this

to a crowd of people who are listening. He says, therefore,

I tell you great table. By the way, this table's

like so so good. Okay, I made it. Okay, okay,

So Matthew, Chapter six five to thirty four, I can't

believe I said that.

Uh. Therefore, I tell you do not worry about your life.

What you will eat or drink, or about your body

what you will wear is not life more than food,

and the body more than clothes. And Jesus turns his

attention to nature, to creation, He says, Look at the

birds of the air. They don't sew, they don't reap,

they don't stow away in barns, And yet your heavenly

Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

It's like hear those words this morning for those of

you who are found in worry. Are you not much

more valuable to God than the birds of the air?

Are you not much more valuable than they? Can anyone

verse twenty seven, can anyone of you by worry add

a single hour to your life? What good or value

does worry add to you? In verse twenty eight, he says,

and why do you worry about your clothes? See how

the flowers of the field grow. They don't labor or spin.

Yet I tell you that even Solomon, we just spent

a couple months talking about Solomon. Even Solomon, in all

of his splendor, was dressed like one of these. If

that's how God closed the grass of the field, which

is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire,

will he not much more clothe you, oh you of

little faith? So he says, do not worry, saying what

shall we eat? What shall we drink? And what shall

we wear for the pagans, the unbelievers, people who aren't

of God. For the pagans, they run after these things,

and your heavenly father knows that you need them. But

Jesus says, seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and

all of these things will be added to you as well.

Therefore he wraps up. Do not worry about tomorrow, for

tomorrow we'll have worry about itself. Each day has enough

trouble of its own. These are Jesus's words as it

relates to worry in our lives.

Would you, guys join me in a word of prayer.

Lord, we give you these moments, We give you these

next twenty two minutes, and ask that you would do

what only you can do in them. God, multiply the

work that's been done here this morning to produce fruit

in our lives. Jesus, what we don't know? Would you

teach us God, what we don't have? Would you give

us and who we are not? Would you make us

for your son's name?

Amen? Amen. So I have two kids, have a three

year old.

I just I kind of love talking about my kids.

They're they're awesome.

I really just love their names, not just that's camaf wrong.

I love their names. So I have a three year

old his name's Indiana Massau Takata. Come on, that's a

good name. That's a strong name. We call them our

little Indie boy. I have a one year old daughter.

Her name's Tula May Takata. Another cute, adorable name. And

yes she I'm gonna tell her. I'll tell her. Uh

and she's she's adorable. I love them to death. My wife,

her name is Maddie Takata. She is currently, as i'm here,

she's down in Palm Springs, which is a big bummer

for her. Right she's down in Palm Springs celebrating my sister,

also named Maddie Takata, currently to Mattie Takata's in the world.

That does get confusing for anybody wondering.

My sister is having her bachelorette weekend right now, and

so she's getting married out in September.

Very very excited for her.

So my wife, she has been putting on bachelorette party

for my sister, which means I've been babysitting this weekend, okay,

and so like I just hear murmurings. Yeah, no, I've

been taking care of my children. It's not babysitting.

Okay. I hear the moms, I hear the wives.

They are like this, this guy, get him off this

stage right now.

This guy's the worst. I know this guy.

No, I have been taking care of my kids. My

wife will then mom me later. I will be requesting

twenty dollars an hour. So I have got two great

kids that I've been taking care of over this last weekend.

They are safe, they are fine, they are in they're

capable hands of their grandparents currently now, which again the

parents in here last. So I on Friday, last Friday,

I was over at my folks house, very very blessed

to be close to my parents, and they were taking

care of my kids Friday while I was at work.

And we're having dinner over there. Anybody here belonged to

a family that watches TV while they eat, Okay, So

then everybody else is very strongly against TV.

While the people who.

Are strong they are loud about it too. Okay, So

they my family. I grew up in a family we

watched TV while we ate. So Friday night we were

having dinner and watching TV and on comes ABC Nightly news. Okay, Yes,

ABC Nightly News with Dave Mihr. I think Dave mere

great looking guy, by the way, like just the everything

about So the news is on the TV and we're

having dinner, and you know, at the beginning of these

news segments or the beginning of these news episodes, are

they episodes, I don't know.

At the beginning of these news shows, they.

Do like the montage of all the headlines, do you

know what I'm talking about?

And so we're having dinner and.

I'm laughing because these montages are just like the war

and are on the straight of horror moves, gas prices,

the stock market, like the thing that happened in Seattle

last week. Like it's just terrible thing after terrible thing

after terrible thing after terrible thing. I'm all telling you

something that you already know is that there are plenty

of things to be worried about in this world.

Plenty of them.

And that's just what's going on like on ABC Nightly News,

you know what I mean, Like I haven't even touched

the stuff that's going on in our day to day lives.

So it's funny, you know, these montages, all these different

news segments are clipping through and I'm laughing. I'm literally

like looking at my mom. I'm just laughing. It's like hysteric.

It's it's crazy to actually watch these news headlines go by.

And then I'm laughing at my mom and she's like, hey, Connor,

don't worry about it. Like there's gonna be They always

wrap up with some good news. You know what the

good news was. It was like terrible headlines like China,

you Gray rush all this stuff, and then.

It was like baby Eagles born and named.

And I'm like, that's not enough to make me feel

better about what's going on in life. You know, it's cute,

but it's not good enough. I need something more. So

there is plenty to be worried about in this life plenty.

I was just talking to somebody after first service. They're

like talking about it. You know, they're they're worried.

They got a lot of stuff going on in their life,

and and I'm like, you sound worried about how much

you're worried. It stacks and it creates anxiety and it

creates stress. So so this this idea of worry is

something that we're going to take a look at today

and really something that we've been looking at over the

last three or four weeks.

So we worry. There's there's worry in our life.

There's a lot to worry about going on in our world,

going on at home, going on.

In our lives.

And we have to come to this point of recognizing. Man,

a lot of us in here we decided to follow

Jesus because of the peace that he promises us. So

we read all of these promises through the scriptures. Man, Hey,

my peace, I leave with you my peace. I give you,

Jesus saying he's I'm gonna give you peace, Paul, he

says in Philippians. He says, uh, that we should pray

and give thanks to God. And when we pray, the

peace of Christ, which transcends all understanding, it's going to

guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus. So

we see promises of peace. It's just two amongst many

that God gives his people. Follow me, Jesus says, follow me,

and you will find peace for your souls. Yet so

many of us, myself included, I was worried about today.

So many of us we find ourselves, we find our

lives in contradiction to those promises.

Jesus, you promise this peace.

I am so worried about what's happening in my life

right now.

You promise me peace.

I am so stressed out about what's going on in

my life right now, what's going on in our world.

So then what happens is that we can come to

church and we can sing these songs, and we can

get like our fill we can find respite for our

soul here.

On a Sunday morning.

But can I tell you that God's desire for you

isn't rest in peace one morning a week, but it's

rest in peace every day of the week.

It's rest in peace in.

The morning, afternoon, and evening, seven days a week, three

hundred and sixty five days a year. It's a peace

that surpasses understanding. That's His desire for you. So then

why are we experiencing that? I feel like as we

take a look at this passage, as I was getting

ready for it, and I just believe that the Lord

wants to set some people free today of the worry

that they have to experience the peace of God as

it's promised in the scriptures.

And so what we.

Find here, what does the Bible say about worry. That's

where I just want us to start. What does the

Bible say about worry? We see this Jesus is teaching

to this large crowd of people happening in the This

is the part of the Sermon on the Mountain, which

is one of Jesus's most famous teachings. He just goes

on and on for two or three chapters on this

is what it means to be in God's people, This

is what it means to be a follower of Christ.

This is what it means to be a part of

God's kingdom. And we find ourselves here in Matthew twenty five,

Jesus is saying, Hey, don't worry about your lives. Your

life is so much bigger than your worries. Your life

is bigger than the clothes that you wear, the food

that you're gonna eat, the stuff that you want that

maybe you don't have. Your life is bigger than your resources.

Your life is bigger than your finances.

Jesus he's encouraging these people with this.

And then as he's going about this teaching, he directs

their attention to nature. He directs their attention to the

birds in the sky, the flowers on the ground, and

he says, man, if God takes care of these, how

much more would God take care of you?

And then he continues on and he draws this comparison.

He puts the non believer and the believer in stark

contrast to one another. He says, these non believers, people

who are not of God. He says, they run after

these things. They run after these things like their life

is aimed at the things that they can get or gain.

Their life is aimed at resources they work all their

lives to get. And then he compares it to the

follower of God, the person of God, and he says

that you don't you know that your heavenly father knows

the things that you need. Don't you know that your

heavenly Father has a good for you, has provision for you,

He says, Rather than being like these who are filled

with worry, filled with stress, filled with anxiety, trying to

get and gain, trying to run after all of these things,

he says, you ought to be somebody who is.

Seeking first his kingdom.

So so not running after stuff, but running after Jesus,

not running after what you can gain, but running after

the one.

Who saved you. The one who calls you, the one.

Who is inviting you to trust him running after Christ.

So he kind of compares these two and then he

goes on. He says, hey, just don't worry. Tomorrow's got

enough worry of its own. Just seek first his kingdom.

Okay. So I used to read this.

I would read this passage and I would read it

as a comfort or an encouragement, you know, like a

father to his son, like, hey, but don't worry India.

I was putting Indy to bed last night, and you know,

we're playing he's three. We're playing that game where like

every ten minutes he runs out of his room and

he comes up, and he's like finding new excuses, you know,

to tell me why he's not going to go to bed.

The newest one is that he's scared. And I'm like, okay,

but you're stalling. I just assume he's stalling. Imagine if

he's actually scared. I think he is actually scared, truthfully. So, yeah,

he said I'm scared of the monsters from Monsters Inc. Yeah,

so I'm gonna tell Maddie, no more monsters inc.

Okay, So.

I read Matthew sick Jesus saying don't worry, like a

father comforting their children, or like anybody in here. Lion

King fans, great movie, amazing movie, Lion King love it

so much.

Simba Mufassa, scar the whole.

Nine yards, Nala the great, great character, Rafiki great.

I could, I mean, I could go on and on.

Any of you guys know the story of the Lion King.

It is terrible. It is it is.

I didn't realize this until it was said plainly to me.

Simba thinks he kills his father.

Very sad. We can take a minute to just recognize

that's sad.

Simba thinks he killed his father in the middle of

the desert in fear and like all this world falling

around around he runs away and meets this like meer

Cat and wart Hog, Timon and Poomba telling him about

all of his worries, and you know what their response is,

and it just like, don't worry about it. That's that's crazy, right,

Like I killed my dad, don't worry about it. It's

totally good. You're good like whatever. So you know, we

read we read Matthew six Jesus is like, hey, don't

do not worry. I would read this like that I

would read this as an encouragement. And how many of

you being hate hate, being told just don't worry about it?

This is like not a helpful thing to hear news

for you. This is as as we'll see here in

a second. This is not Jesus giving encouragement or comfort

to people who are worried. This is Jesus giving a

serious command not to worry. Like he takes this so seriously.

And I need us to see this this morning, that

he is not coddling people just letting him know, hey man,

you don't need to worry about it. He's telling them

as a command, do not worry. And you know what

happens when we don't do what Jesus commands.

It's sin.

So I'll want us to see that the kind of

sins that we take very seriously in our lives, worry

ought to be counted among those. So this is what

he says just before this, see this in Matthew chapter six.

Just before this, he is teaching on money, and he

says this in Matthew chapter six, verse nineteen, do not

store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and

vermin destroy, where thieves break in and steel. But store

up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin

do not destroy, where thieves do not break in and steel.

For where your treasure is there, your heart will be Also.

The eye is the lamp of the body.

Your eye.

If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be

full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your

whole body will be full of darkness. If the light,

then within you is darkness. How great is that darkness?

And this is what I want us to see in

twenty four No one you say that, underline it circle

a mental note. No one can serve two masters. Either

you will hate one and love the other, or you

will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot,

he says, cannot, It is impossible to serve both.

God and money.

Then, immediately following this, he says what we started off

this service with.

He says, therefore, do.

Not worry about what you're gonna eat, about what you're

gonna wear. He so, he says, you can't serve God

and money. You can't serve two masters. You're either gonna

love one, hate the other, follow one, despise the other.

And then he has that like that hinge word. He

says therefore, So anytime you hear the word therefore in scripture,

anytime you read that, be sure to read what comes

before it, because that's he's saying something because of what

he just said. So he says, you can't serve two masters.

So because of that, do not worry.

Don't worry like this isn't a word of comfort, it's

a command. Because Jesus knows you can't serve two masters.

You're either gonna love Jesus or you're going to hate Jesus.

You're either gonna follow him or you're gonna follow money

and things and resources. And he knows this, so he

makes it very clear, do not worry. Why why does

he make it? Why why is this taken so seriously?

You can write this down. This first thought is this

that worry is a sign of a divided heart. Worry

is a sign of a divided heart. How many of

you guys just didn't go well for service, So we'll

try it again, and then you know, if we're over

two and third service, we'll try something different. So how

many of you guys have your check engine light on

in your car? Okay, thank you? Yes, the young adults. Okay, guys,

your car service, all right, get your car service. So

so your check engine light in your car, it's a

signal that you need to take a look at something.

It's a signal that something's up and if you don't

take care of it, it could end poorly for you.

Your car could get totaled, run out of oil.

Only heard nightmare stories, you know, it's a sign that

something's wrong.

Worry is a lot like that. Worry is a sign

of a divided heart. Worry is a seed of distrust

that's planted in your heart.

You want you want to know what worry is.

Worry is a temptation to claim independence from God.

Worry is a temptation.

To say, you know what, maybe God doesn't have my

best interest in mind. Maybe God can't do what I

want him to do right now. Maybe God isn't able

to provide for me in a way that I want

to be provided for. Worry puts you at the center

and Jesus as an accessory to your life and man's

That is what he's saying. Don't worry like when you

find yourself to start to worry, squash you. We need

to take it as seriously as we do other sins

in our life, because, like that check engine life, if

it goes unaddressed, we're gonna find ourselves in a far

worse situation than we did before. You know, I think

that's interesting. He draws that comparison between the pagans who

run after things of the world. Worry is setting your

sights on something other than Jesus. Worry is setting your

focus on something other than Him. And when we worry

and set our focus on something other than Him, we

change slowly, maybe a degree at a time, the direction

of our lives. Your direction in life will be determined

by whatever has your attention. You're driven looking at the

side of the road. You know what happens you drive

on the side of the road. You look in your

rear view mirror. What happens you swerve on the side

of the road. Whatever has your attention is going to

decide your direction. So so Jesus, Hey, why why is

this guy going so hard on worry? Because he knows

what happens when worry goes unaddressed. You cannot serve two masters,

and unaddressed worry is a sign that your heart is

starting to be pulled in a direction other than Christ.

So what do we do with our worry?

You're like, okay, great, I feel pretty bad, thank you.

What do we do with our worries? Now? What you know? Whatever?

That worry might be financial worry, and you find yourself

in here today, you're like, man, like, I don't know

about retirement, like my retirement account, my my accounts aren't

looking great, my investments aren't looking great.

Maybe in here you're wondering, like my job situation.

Is busted right now, like I don't know what I

am going to do, layoffs, looming tech not looking great

right now, just like the AI doom and gloom stuff.

It's just crazy.

Like the environment that we find ourselves in right now

is pretty volatile, full of worry, full of things to

worry about. You want to know what you're supposed to

do with your worry. What the Bible tells us to

do with your worry. It's that you are meant to

surrender it to God. Surrender it, lay it at his feet,

trust him with it. That you know, Jesus, he never

promises us an easy, difficulty free life in existence here

on earth. That's promised for us when we're with him

here he promises us difficulty. He promises us trouble. He

promises us persecution, which the persecution then looks a lot

different than the persecution now, like we're personally, we're sitting here,

We're like, ah, don't persecute it. It's like, no, you

read about what goes on in the scriptures. That's the

trouble that Jesus is talking about. So then we find

that Jesus doesn't promise us peace from difficulty. He promises

us peace in difficulty. And that peace is we need

to submit our worries to God. We need to submit

our worries to God. Paul says it like this in

Second Corinthians. Paul says it like this in Second Corinthians,

chapter ten, verse five. We read it a couple weeks ago.

We demolish strongholds with every pretension that sets itself up

against the knowledge of God. We take captive every thought

and make it obedient to Christ.

So what happens when you worry? This is what you're

supposed to do.

You're supposed to take that word, you're supposed to catch

that thought, and you're supposed to make it obedient to Christ.

Does this thing that I'm worried about does this align

with my trust and faith in who Jesus says he is?

Does this again, I'm gonna put it at his feet

and I'm gonna trust him with it, and I'm gonna

trust that he has good things for me. That does

my worry contradict my trust in Christ? And if it does,

we take that worry and we make it a slave

to Jesus. We put it at his feet, We put

it under him and allow our faith in Him to

decide what we do with our worry. So then this

third thing for all of us who do that. You

know what the prize is peace? So peace comes this

peace that we all want. It comes when we surrender,

when we trust God with the outcomes.

You know so, and I say so many of us.

I am included in this.

We go to God and ask him to work things

out in our life. The Bible says, Hey, ask whatever

you want in Jesus' name, and it's gonna be given

to you in all things. Pray peace to God. It's

going to fill your hearts, in your minds in Christ Jesus.

The Bible says, go to God with your desires. But

what ends up happening in our hearts. What happens in

my heart is that I go to God with my desires.

But I'm not.

Actually surrendering my desires. I'm just expecting him to satisfy them.

I'm expecting him to do what I want him to do.

And what that does is it keeps me at the

center and it makes him, I said it before, an

accessory to my desires.

I want to control the outcomes.

I want good things for myself, I want good things

for my family.

And there's nothing wrong with that.

But there is something wrong with it when your desire

for good and comfort and all the different things that

we desire in our life, all the different resources, all

the different stuff, when that takes precedent over Christ, When

we allow the stuff that we want to influence and

determine our relationship with Jesus. Oh I don't have this stuff, well,

then that must mean something about God. Do you see

why he's taking this so seriously? So we need to

learn like this invitation for us this morning is to

let go of control, to determine outcomes, and to trust

Him with it. Peace that you're looking for comes not

from an absence of difficulty. The peace of Christ comes

when we trust God with the outcomes. When we say, Jesus,

you are enough for me. We sing the song in

church all the time. Christ is enough for me. You

know what I'm saying. We sing this song, we declare

this all the time. Jesus is enough. But our worry

and our unwillingness to trust Him with our outcomes contradict

that confession. So I want to show you real quick

in the Book of Daniel. I'm just gonna read this

example to you all as an example of what it

looks like to trust God with the outcomes. I love

this example. If you're not familiar, many of you might be.

If you're not familiar with Shadraq, Meshack and Abendigo, shoutout Veggetails,

Shadrack Meshak and Benny It's great Shadrack Mishak and a

Bendigo were were people who were Israelized. They were living

in Israel, and the nation of Babylon came and took

Israel into exile. And the king of Babylon was a

man named Nebecanezer. Nebucanez are an attempt to bring Israel

into the culture of Babylon told all of Israel that

they need to reject and deny their God and bow

down to Nebukanezer as God and king. So you have

these three individuals, Shadrack, Mishak, and Benny, and they tell

nebucan Azer, we are not going to bow down to

you and Nebukaneza. As a response to their rebellion and

unwillingness to do what he says, told them, I'm gonna

throw you in the fire, in a furnace of fire,

I'm gonna burn you up.

It sounds terrible that are drowning.

I don't know which one's worse, honestly, drowning might be

I'm terrible at swimming. So he tells these people I'm

gonna throw Shadrack, Mishak, and Benny that I'm gonna throw

you in the fire. And this is what Daniel chapter three,

verse ten says, or excuse me, verse sixteen, I just.

Want to read this to you.

As we get ready to close, Shadraq, Mieshak and a

Bendigo replied to him, King nebekon Ezer, we do not

need to defend ourselves before you in this matter.

That is a message for a whole other time. If

we are.

Thrown into the blazing furnace. The God we serve is

able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver

us from your Majesty's hand. But even if he doesn't,

even if he doesn't do it, we want you to know,

your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or

worship the image of gold that you have set up.

Hey neb can are like, We're not going to do it.

We belong to a God who we believe can save

us from this fire. We believe he's going to save

us from this fire, But even if he doesn't, we're

still going to remain faithful to him. Even if he doesn't,

We're still going to trust him. Even if he doesn't,

He's still good. That does not change who God is.

God change is the way that we see our lives

and circumstances, not the other way around. You want to

know what trusting God with outcomes looks like.

It's that king. We won't do it. We believe he can,

but even if he doesn't, I'm still going to trust

in him.

Even if he doesn't. He is still good. Even if

he doesn't, He's still worthy.

Of our devotion.

That is what it looks like to trust God with outcomes.

When we get to the point of being able to

trust the Lord with all of with all of our worries,

and not expect him to do things our way, but

allow our lives to be conformed to His way, that's

when you find peace. You find peace when you surrender

your worries and your outcomes to God. So here's the

question that we all have to consider this morning.

Is Christ enough for you? Is the enough?

Is Christ worthy of your devotion and faithfulness? Even if

he doesn't do what you're asking him to do right now?

Would you follow him if he didn't do exactly what

it is you're asking him to do right now? That's

our question this morning. Do you trust Him in the

middle of your difficulty? Trusting him looks like surrendering control

of outcomes to say, Jesus, you are better, Jesus, you

are bigger. Jesus, you are worthy regardless of what happens,

and can I encourage you? The love of God in

your life is not determined or defined and by your

situation or circumstance. The love of God in your life

is defined by what He did on that cross two

thousand years ago. If Jesus never did another thing for you.

He has already done far more to earn to deserve

our devotion, our attention.

So I just want to ask everybody about your heads,

close your eyes as we.

Wrap this morning, and I want to just pray two

prayers this morning.

One I want to invite for anybody in here who

feels like man, I have been worried, I have been

stressed out, I have been anxious.

Consider right now, what is that thing? What is it?

Maybe it's buying a home, Maybe it's having enough in retirement.

Maybe it's a job. Maybe it's a relationship. Maybe it's

a health diagnosis. Maybe it's something with your kids or

your family. Whatever that thing is that you are worried about,

and this morning you want to lay it at the

feet of Jesus.

Would you just raise your hand, Thank you, thank you,

thank you. Would you join me in a word of prayer.

Lord, you see every hand, you see, every need, you see,

every desire, you see every dream. God, I pray that

you would fill people with faith, trust and peace as

they lay those things at your feet. As they lay

them at your feet, Jesus, would you on, would you

bless their surrender to you this morning. And lastly, I

want to pray a special prayer for all of you

here who are is struggling with finances, who have financial worry.

I'm not sure how things are going to line up

at the end of the month, not sure how things

are going to line up in a.

Couple of years.

If that's you in this place, would you just raise

your hand financial worry. Jesus, you see each hand here,

you see all of the stress and anxiety in their life.

Holy Spirit, would you make it clear to.

Them that you want them to lay down at your feet.

God. Would you put a heart of trust, a heart

of faith in their lives? Lord?

And as we do it, would we find peace? Would

we find fulfillment? Would we find satisfaction?

Lord?

Would we not be found wanting? When we trust you, Jesus,

we love you. Thank you for your grace and the

love that you have for each person here.

It's in your name we pray. Amen.
