Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International
-
Church Podcast, where we seek to love all nations, equip the
-
church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.
-
We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever
-
you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get
-
your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe
-
some tea, and get ready to receive.
-
Let's get into it. So today we're going to continue
-
on a message that began last week with Pastor Terence sharing
-
on through through just one more hour.
-
And it used the text from Matthew chapter 26 and verse 40.
Matthew 26 chapter mention
-
And it said, and he came, this is Jesus.
-
And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping and said to
-
Peter, so you men could not stay awake and keep watch with me for
-
one hour, just one hour, just one hour.
-
We learned that many times we prayed to and not through, but
-
we are being challenged and called to pray through.
-
Have I got some people who are ready to pray through the
-
situation? We're called to pray through,
-
right? Amen.
-
For those who are online, the baby was agreeing with me.
-
I take all of it, all of it. We are also being called to new
-
dimension, and a new dimension requires new posture.
-
For those who were here last week, remember Pastor Terence
-
had the chair here and he was comparing postures.
-
If I'm leaning back and my posture is relaxed, that gives a
-
certain body language compared to being sitting on the edge of
-
the seat about ready to go, right?
-
If I'm sitting here and I'm just relaxing is different than this
-
pose, which is OK, come on. Right.
-
And a new dimension requires a new posture.
-
It's something to think about as we're engaging in a new a new
-
idea of what God wants to do. We have to consider the posture
-
that he's calling us to. And last week pastor has talked
-
about remembrance is fuel to your prayer life.
-
Remember, remember, remember what God has said.
-
Remember what God has done. Remember the stories from your
-
family we got has moved. Remember the stories that your
-
friend, your colleague, your your the other believer in
-
Christ has shared. Remember.
-
And that's fuel for your prayer life.
-
Why? Because when we remember well,
-
when we remember well, we're actually fueling the faith that
-
God can, he will, He's more than able.
-
His word is true. I'm fueling and now I'm going to
-
pray with a different effect because my prayer life is fueled
-
by my remembrance. My prayer life is fueled by that
-
word, that Scripture, maybe that story when God moved.
-
And yes, you can do it for me. He's the same God today.
-
And so I have some questions for you.
-
What have you become comfortable with that is slowly squeezing
-
hope out of you? I got this one because I I woke
-
up from a dream this morning about a boa constrictor.
-
Yeah. I'm not a big snake fan myself
-
personally. You know, those like snakes.
-
You're welcome. But I had this, this, this,
-
this. Squeezing.
-
The squeezing. There's a squeezing that's
-
slowly taking life, But have we become comfortable in that
-
space? What quiet addiction has
-
silently been draining the power in your life?
-
Can also say what quiet sin has silently been draining the power
-
in your life? Which family and friends seem
-
too far away for a God to move? Have you made an assessment on
-
that and adjusted your prayer? The next one, what thing or
-
situation has become manageable? Oh, that's a tough one.
-
What area of your life have you said, well, I got this far, do I
-
have to go all the way? I'm comfortable, I can manage
-
it. I can manage that discomfort.
-
Elder Stacey's parents would have often had a saying about
-
the dog who sits on a rusty nail Will stay there if it's more
-
comfortable to remain than to go, right?
-
That's the gist of it. I think I butchered it a little
-
bit, but the gist of it is how? Why are you comfortable sitting
-
on a rusty nail even though it's digging in?
-
What have you become comfortable with?
-
What have you become OK handling?
-
Well, today it's time to get on our knees and fight.
-
Time to fight, time to fight. We're in the time where we're
-
speaking about prevailing prayer.
-
Prevailing prayer is ready to fight, to have an urgency, to
-
have something on the inside that says no longer enough is
-
enough. I have a holy discontent.
-
I'm no longer going to be satisfied with the status quo,
-
no longer satisfied with those things that have held me back,
-
No longer satisfied just to manage it.
-
No longer satisfied to sit back and hope something might happen.
-
No longer satisfied I got fights.
-
A fight that pushes the presses back, that comes to the gates of
-
hell and says I'm coming in. A fight that's on the offense,
-
No longer defense. A fight, a prayer that fights,
-
that presses through, that goes and will not stop until it's
-
done. Fight.
-
Ephesians chapter 6 and verse 12 says, For we are not wrestling
Ephesians 6 chapter mention
-
with flesh and blood contending only with physical opponents,
-
but against the despotisms, against the powers, against the
-
masters, master spirits who are the world rulers of this present
-
darkness and against the whole spirit forces of wickedness in
-
the heavenly sphere as the idea of wrestling, the idea of
-
wrestling. Have you ever seen wrestlers and
-
they they, they get in their pose.
-
Has anyone here ever wrestled wrestled any wrestlers?
-
Oh yeah, a couple of guys with wrestled.
-
OK all right. And so.
-
So when I'm wrestling, there's usually this first position in
-
the Greco Roman, right. I'm like here and you tussle,
-
you got hands and then you're trying to get a grip and tell me
-
if I'm doing it wrong. But you're, you're wrestling.
-
There's there's contact, there's engagement and you're each
-
opponent is seeking to dominate the other person, to put them in
-
a position to pin them. There's this wrestle, this
-
fight. It's interesting.
-
We've come out of family matters and and we on the Wednesdays had
-
faith foes and family. And sometimes we realize we were
-
actually misdirected in who the fight was with.
-
And in this verse, it's telling us the fight is against
-
principalities and powers and darkness against them.
-
But it's a wrestle now. It's a wrestle that we have the
-
authority and power to win. It's not a it's not an equal
-
fight, but it does require stepping into the wrestle to
-
finish the work. Wrestle is from the word Palais,
-
at least that's how I pronounce it.
-
And it is a contest between two in which each endeavours to
-
throw the other, and which is decided when the victor is able
-
to pin the opponent. But you wrestle to win, right?
-
In fact, in wrestling in their terms, you can actually get in
-
trouble for being too passive. You can get deductions of points
-
or points given to the other person if you're too passive.
-
But when you're sitting back and you're not getting into the
-
fight, but he's saying we're cold to the fight, we're cold to
-
that fight, we're actually equipped for the fight.
-
We're equipped to be able to get in and engage the opponent.
-
We're actually equipped and purposed for it.
-
James 5 verse 16 says the effective fervent prayer of a
-
righteous man avails much. Elijah was a man with a nature
-
like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not
-
rain, and it did not rain on the land for three years and six
-
months. And he prayed again, and the
-
heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.
-
I says it's the effective fervent.
-
You know, what do you fervent about?
-
What do you got passion for? What do you got zeal for?
-
What do you have something that says, I, I've got to have this.
-
Perhaps, you know, if you're a soccer fan, you have zeal and
-
passion for your team. Go Man United or Chelsea or, OK,
-
someone's going to boot for each other.
-
Vancouver Whitecaps, yes, there you go.
-
Come on. But there's a zeal.
-
Have you ever met some of these people who are passionate about
-
that sport? OK, I was, I was working at an
-
office. This is probably now 20, oh, 15
-
years ago, 15 years ago. And the FIFA World Cup was on
-
and there was a, a match between Brazil and another country.
-
I can't remember who it was. And Brazil got beaten pretty
-
thoroughly. And one of the ladies there
-
would was a fan like, like Brazilian.
-
I said, oh, man, that's crazy. How was that?
-
You know, yeah, that's pretty tough.
-
And and she just like, didn't talk to me at all.
-
And then I went by and there was this guy who I knew who was from
-
the Netherlands. And he's like, if you did that
-
to me, I'd punch you. I said, I I didn't do anything.
-
I didn't do anything. But that was wildly passionate.
-
Like off the charts passionate about this round ball on a grass
-
field that goes into a twine net.
-
And their lives could literally be up or down depending on the
-
result of that game. They can literally go into
-
depression for the next three months if their team gets taken
-
out before the round of 16 or whatever.
-
That passionate, that zealous, that excited, that given over,
-
that bought in, bought in, bought in.
-
What are you bought into? What's so passionate for you
-
that's outside of this world? In the Spirit of God, what are
-
you so passionate about? Then you've given over to it
-
that you've got a zeal for a fervency for?
-
Yeah. The term fan comes from
-
fanatics. I'm a fanatic about it.
-
What are you a fanatic about? In God, what are you a fanatic
-
about? In prayer, what are you a
-
fanatic about? What is it that that is so
-
consuming you? Or is there nothing yet that
-
comes to that level? What are you passionate for?
-
Can it be said of you that the effective, fervent, passionate
-
prayer of Derek avails much of Tosin, avails much of chastity,
-
avails much of Caleb avails much?
-
So fervent in prayer, so passionate in prayer.
-
So given over to prayer. So given over to the things of
-
God. So given over to the the the
-
desire to see God move. So given over to the belief that
-
God can so given over to this understanding and belief that He
-
is more than able or passions like that only kept to sports or
-
fashion or music. Says the effective fervent
-
prayer of a righteous man avails much, and he prayed earnestly.
-
Let's see that story in first Kings 18.
-
Now, Elijah said to Ahab, go up, eat and drink, for there is the
-
sound of the roar of an abundance of rain.
-
I want to give you a quick perspective of what's happening
-
here, Elijah. There had been 3 1/2 years of
-
drought. Elijah goes to Ahab and says,
-
OK, it's time for us to have a match.
-
All of the the prophets of Baal bring your guys.
-
I'll come up and we'll build an altar.
-
And whoever's God brings down fire to consume it, you know,
-
that's that's who God is. And you guys get to make a
-
decision about what you're going to do.
-
So prophets of Baal, all day, they're cutting themselves and
-
doing all these rituals to try and get something to happen.
-
And this is one of the funniest parts in the Bible where you
-
have Elijah going, maybe he's on the toilet, maybe he's sleeping.
-
Anyway, it's great. Go back and read it.
-
And then he builds his altar and then pours water over it and a
-
trench of water around it. And then the law brings fire to
-
consume the sacrifice to prove that God is God.
-
And then at the end of this, Elijah says to Ahab, go up, eat
-
and drink for it. There is the sound of the roar
-
of an abundance of rain. OK, quick point.
-
There was no rain yet. That's interesting.
-
So what is he saying prophetically?
-
There was a sound of the roar of abundance of rain.
-
Prophetically, the Lord had revealed that rain was on the
-
way, and so he declared the prophetic in the ears of Ahab,
-
and then he went to pray. So Ahab went up to eat and
-
drink, and Elijah went up to the top of Carmel, and he crouched
-
down to the earth and put his face between his knees.
-
Now this is an interesting position, OK?
-
He put his face between his knees.
-
And he's praying. Lord God, you declared, Lord
-
God, Lord your, you said, there's rain coming.
-
Lord, you said rain. Lord, it's your word.
-
Lord, I'm praying in your. Word.
-
Your word says rain, Lord, there's rain coming.
-
Lord rain is on its way. Lord, bring the.
-
Rain. Thank you, Lord, you declared.
-
There's rain. See.
-
And then he says his servant up and says, OK, go, see, go, see.
-
Go. Look towards the sea.
-
Is there anything there? And he came back and he said
-
there's nothing. And Elijah said back to it, back
-
to prayer, back to pressing, back to prevailing.
-
He says again, go up, go back, go and go and check.
-
OK, that's one time. OK, OK, back to prayer.
-
Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord.
-
The promise is given. The promise is given.
-
The promise is given. OK, go back.
-
Again, two times not there. OK.
-
Thank you. Lord, the promise is given.
-
The promise is given. Thank you, Lord, you said rain,
-
You said rain. You will not.
-
Leave your servant embarrassed. This is your.
-
Word #3 #4 #5 number 60, Lord. Thank you, God.
-
Thank you, Lord. You said rain.
-
You said rain. You said rain, You said it.
-
Lord, you said it. You said it, You said it.
-
You said it. Hey, 7th time go and at the 7th
-
time, at the 7th time, the servant said a cloud as small as
-
a man's hand is coming up from the sea.
-
That's all I need, That's all I need.
-
That's all I need. That's all I need.
-
All I need is a cloud the size of a man's hand.
-
All right, It's coming. I'm gone.
-
And I just said go up, say to Ahab, prepare chariot and go
-
down so that the rain shower does not stop you.
-
What had he seen? A cloud the size of a man's
-
hand. Oh, don't worry.
-
There's abundance in rain there. There's abundance of rain there.
-
There's abundance of rain in a little while the sky grew dark
-
with clouds and wind and there were heavy showers.
-
What was Elijah doing at the beginning of the the verse 1 of
-
this chapter? First Kings 18 one the Lord says
-
I'm bringing rain. Now go see Ahab.
-
So when he was praying, all he was doing is laying a hold of
-
that which God had already said, but he would not give up now.
-
Now here's the other thing he could have done.
-
How many times he done this? Well, Lord, you said it.
-
OK, I'll just wait till it happens.
-
I can't lean on anything. There's nothing to lean on but
-
wait till it happens. But that's not what happened.
-
He went to prayer. He went to prayer.
-
And you know, Daniel a few 100 years later and he reads
-
Jeremiah. And in Jeremiah it says 70 years
-
you'll be in captivity. And he knew that was coming up.
-
And he didn't say, oh, well, that's nice.
-
OK, we'll just wait for it to come past.
-
No, he said, I went to prayer and fasting.
-
I went to secure it, to secure the promise to possess it.
-
Prevailing prayer presses. It presses in.
-
In Mark chapter 5, we see an example of pressing and Jesus
Mark 5 chapter mention
-
went with him that he's talking about Jairus, and a large crowd
-
followed him and pressed in around him from all sides.
-
So what he's saying is that his people all around Jesus, there's
-
people all around him trying to to see him and talk to him and
-
engage with him. A woman in the crowd had
-
suffered from a haemorrhage for 12 years and had endured much
-
suffering at the hands of many physicians.
-
She had spent all that she had and was not helped at all, but
-
instead had become worse. So here she is in her health 12
-
years, fighting, fighting, fighting, putting resource into
-
it, spending all she had to get this this thing under control so
-
she can live to get life. Passionate, fervent, zealous,
-
desiring this to come to pass. Can you imagine after 12 years,
-
disappointment, discouragement, all the people who said they had
-
an answer and all they did was take your money?
-
12 years of this, 12 years of wondering why?
-
12 years of saying where's the end of this road?
-
But she had heard reports about Jesus.
-
She heard about this Jesus, heard about this Jesus and hear
-
it. It sounds so simple.
-
She came up behind him in the crowd, but in the crowd she
-
pressed through the crowd. She had to get remember, it says
-
there are people all around him and she had to find a way.
-
Perhaps she got knocked down in the crowd.
-
And there's this stretch, this moment, I see the the fringe of
-
his garment. I'm going to touch it.
-
Pressing in, holding on, she touched his outer robe.
-
For she thought, if I just touch his clothing, I will get well.
-
Immediately her flow of blood was dried up and she felt in her
-
body and you without any doubt as she was healed of her
-
suffering. You see, there's, there's
-
examples of this pressing, this passion, this zeal, this
-
breakthrough. So we get to take that and apply
-
it to us. What is it we're reaching for in
-
God that He desires to give you? But He's looking for that reach,
-
that press, the prevailing prayer that presses through not
-
up to the moment. She didn't get to His robe.
-
She reached out and touched His robe.
-
Elijah didn't pray once to say, Oh, that should be good enough.
-
He pressed until the moment he knew he had a knowing.
-
You see, there's a knowing that God is calling us to, a knowing
-
that he is able, a knowing God's calling us to pray to that
-
moment of knowing that gets us through the ribbon.
-
Stories told of a man who a bird of prayer came on him and he
-
prayed in the Spirit for 45 minutes, just praying, pressing,
-
not knowing what he's praying for, but it's pressing.
-
And a 45 minute time was up. It was about noon that day, and
-
he knew whatever it was had been broken.
-
That night, he received a call from someone saying, hey, this
-
person that you know has been in a terrible accident.
-
They're actually, they don't know where the bodies are.
-
They don't know where where they are.
-
And as soon as it was said and reported to him, he said, oh,
-
good, we're good. Then you just got told bad news.
-
How can you say it's good? Well, because he had a a
-
conviction in the Spirit that that was the one he'd been
-
praying for and that the breakthrough had already come at
-
1:00 in the morning. All the people that thought were
-
dead were all safe. But in that moment, he could
-
pray. And when the release came from
-
the Spirit of God, it was done. It was completed.
-
Though they hadn't found them, the work was completed.
-
We're called to prevailing prayers, spirit, soul and body.
-
When we look back at the story of the woman who had the
-
bleeding for 12 years, she was had heard of Jesus.
-
The Spirit of God had reminded her about this Jesus.
-
And then she thought to herself, your soul in her soul, she
-
thought to herself, if only I could touch the edge of his
-
robe, I will, I will be healed. And then in her body she had to
-
activate by pressing in engaging.
-
And so prevailing prayer is actually taking a spirit, soul
-
and body to the fulfillment of what God has called us to.
-
There are times where prevailing prayer is going to call on you
-
to fast. Not just waiting for the church
-
to fast, but the Lord will tell you, come on, you won't
-
breakthrough this area. I'm calling you to fast for
-
three days. Oh well, I'll just wait till the
-
next one comes around. No, come on now, we, we, we got
-
to be responsive to the Spirit of God moving John 15 seven
-
says, if you live in me, abide vitally united to me and my
-
words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts.
-
Ask whatever you will and it shall be done.
-
And people love to ask whatever you will that shall be done for
-
you, right? I love that bit.
-
OK, let's get to the first part. OK, It's conditional if you live
-
in me, if you're abiding in me, when He abides in us, when He is
-
living in us, when He's alive in us, that actually our thoughts
-
and motivation are the thoughts and motivation from Him.
-
It comes from Him and my words remain in you.
-
What does God said about your situation?
-
What does God said about your healing?
-
What does God said about your family members?
-
What does God say? What word are you taking and
-
laying a hold of and anchoring to and not letting go of until
-
it comes to pass? You're praying with someone the
-
other day and I LED with the word I said, Lord, you said
-
you're the healer. Exodus 1526, You say you're the
-
healer. That's not from me, that's from
-
you, Lord. Your word says when we pray, the
-
prayer of faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise him
-
up. You said that.
-
You said it, Lord. You said it in your word.
-
We're just reminding the Lord what He said, and then we're
-
holding it. We're prevailing in it, we're
-
moving on, we're engaging in it, and we're believing it.
-
You see, we must believe the Word of God is not a rabbit's
-
foot. It's not lucky.
-
So it's something to just put out there, right?
-
Prayer is not a a lucky rabbit's foot that we just put out there.
-
No, it's something we work, we hold onto, we press into the
-
Word of God, applied and put in practice.
-
If you live in me, we come into His presence.
-
We live our lives submitted and surrendered to Him.
-
And my words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts.
-
The words alive and powerful. Let the word live.
-
Let the word transform you. You know when you pray, you're
-
being transformed. When you're praying the Word,
-
you're being transformed. The words moving on you to build
-
up your holy faith, to press you into faith, to shape you into
-
the image of Christ. We let his word remain and we we
-
press in. So prevailing prayer presses.
-
Wow, don't say that too fast. Prevailing prayer presses and
-
then prevailing prayer is Spirit LED.
-
Ephesians 618 Like using my Bible on this.
-
Pray at all times, on every occasion, in every season, in
-
the Spirit, with all manner of prayer and entreaty to that end.
-
Keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance
-
interceding in behalf of all the Saints.
-
So we pray at all times, every season.
-
Have you ever got to season where I'm praying because I got
-
my problem. I got I got my my prayer on
-
because my problems bounced up or my urgency in prayer all of a
-
sudden rose up because I got my problems right.
-
Oh, that's OK. We can entreat the law for your
-
problems, but stop, don't stop praying.
-
Don't stop praying into your situation.
-
Don't stop praying when the problem's solved, press in even
-
more. You see, the same one who gives
-
life to that problem is the one who wants to give life to you in
-
all your life. Pray at all times in the Spirit.
-
Be spirit LED, let the holy man. That means, yes, we pray in the,
-
in the, in the Spirit, pray in other tongues and we pray in the
-
Spirit because we're led by the Spirit.
-
You might start praying for someone.
-
You have no idea why. Lord, this person's name come to
-
me. I don't know why, but Lord, I'm
-
going to pray for them that you protect them, You keep them.
-
And as you start to pray, all of a sudden these things drop in
-
your heart because the Holy Spirit's speaking to you.
-
Your prayer is spirit LED also. I didn't even know that whatever
-
all I can see is this protection in their car protection in this
-
protection in that or, or in this situation they're going
-
into, but you're led by the Spirit, praying in the Spirit
-
praying led by the the Spirit and we're engaging hearts. 1st
-
Corinthians 2 I love this, I love this verse, love this
-
verse. Now we have received not the
-
Spirit of the world, but the Holy Spirit who is from God, so
-
that we may know and understand the wonderful things really
-
given to us by God. You're given the Holy Spirit, so
-
you might know. You might know what to pray for,
-
when to pray for. Maybe something's been revealed
-
and exposed, but that exposure was actually to save you and
-
rescue you. The Spirit led and you didn't
-
even know the Spirit was leading.
-
You didn't even know, but the Holy Spirit, who's from God,
-
came that you might know, know for sure, Know with assurance to
-
know him, to know his power so we may know and understand the
-
wonderful things freely given to us by God.
-
You want to know, man, get in the Holy Spirit.
-
You want to know. Get into a time of prayer that
-
presses in. It goes beyond.
-
If we want to know and believe, we need to press.
-
So we're going to go beyond problems to possession, beyond
-
problems to possess that thing God has promised for you.
-
Don't get me wrong, God says in his Word, give me your problems.
-
He says in his word, give him supplication.
-
That means to to ask him for things.
-
Supplication is part of prayer. But prayer also goes beyond your
-
problem, beyond that to possession of what has been
-
promised. When the, the, the people of
-
Israel got to the edge of the promised land, they weren't
-
given it for free. They had to go and possess it.
-
They actually had to go in and fight for it.
-
They actually had to go in and do something about it.
-
They had to engage. They had to go beyond the
-
problem to their possession, beyond problems to position.
-
Romans 517 It's not on there. It's not on the slides.
-
Romans 5 and verse 17 out of the Amplified Classic.
-
And it says this for it. Because of one man's trespass,
-
death reigned through that one. Much more surely, much more
-
surely will those who receive God's overflowing grace,
-
unmerited favour and the free gift of righteousness, putting
-
them into right standing with himself, reign as kings in life
-
through the one man, Jesus Christ.
-
Who is He talking about? You who believe?
-
You who believe we'll now get to reign in life as kings, you, you
-
beyond problem to position. Our prevailing prayer is going
-
to get us to the position where we realize who we are.
-
We take the Word of God and we say, yes, that is ours.
-
The enemy is a liar and the biggest thing he lies about is
-
who you are. And I tell you now, when you get
-
your identity fixed in Jesus, you realize what that position
-
is. There is a breakthrough for you
-
and your prayer now will start to shake nations.
-
Your prayer will shake your city.
-
Beyond problems to presence, Lord, may we have prevailing
-
prayer just to come into your presence.
-
Yes, Lord, you know the problems.
-
Yes, Lord. You know, Lord, you said in
-
Matthew 6, you know we need clothing, you know we need food,
-
you know we need shelter. You know these things, but our
-
responsibility is to seek first the Kingdom of God and His
-
righteousness. Lord, may we pursue your
-
presence, pursue you, pursue your word, pursue knowing your
-
ways. Come into the presence of
-
Almighty God. May we have a zeal, A fervency,
-
a passion of heart that is pursuing you, Lord.
-
May we come like the woman with the issue of blood.
-
The presses through, not satisfied to stay back because
-
of the obstacle. Not say that's too much, I can't
-
get in there. Not to say, well, that would
-
have been nice. We're done with nice.
-
We're on the offence, we're pressing, we're pursuing Lord,
-
we're pursuing what you have already said.
-
Just like Elijah when you told him it's going to rain and he
-
went to prayer, he appropriated, he possessed the promise of God.
-
He called on heaven for the rain because the promise had been
-
given a father. I just pray for each one here.
-
The Lord, we will have a resolve.
-
And as Elder John said in the 9:00 AM experience, make a
-
decision. Make a decision.
-
Resolve in your hearts today that you will not let go.
-
Resolve, determine that this is now the way I'm pursuing.
-
I'm not giving up. I'm not letting go because you
-
promised Lord. You promised Lord, You called us
-
Lord, spirit, soul, and body. I'm pressing in spirit, soul,
-
and body. I'm yielded to God.
-
Spirit, soul and body. I'm pushing into the promises of
-
God. Lord, I thank you that we have
-
grit, Lord, in that moment where it appears that, oh, maybe
-
that's just, you know, not for me.
-
In the areas that I've made manageable, in the areas that
-
I've made attainable, Lord, that I'm pressing rather to what
-
you've called me to. In those areas of quiet sin,
-
quiet addiction that I've become complacent about.
-
I'm going to get fierce with fierce, not letting go, Father,
-
I thank you. Thank you, Lord, that we are a
-
people who are led by the Spirit of God.
-
I thank you, Lord, that each one will now take this decision,
-
make a decision to resolve that. These areas I'm pursuing, maybe
-
it's an area where there's family members who don't know
-
Jesus. I'm not letting go.
-
Perhaps it's an area of healing. I won't let go.
-
Don't. You said it.
-
You said the Lord. I didn't say it.
-
I didn't write that bit. You said it.
-
You said the Lord. Lord, it's your word.
-
You declared it. I'm pursuing it and I won't let
-
go. I'm pressing in.
-
I won't let go. Lord, we're pressing, we're
-
pressing, we're pressing, we're pressing, we're pressing into
-
the grace of God. We're pressing in to pursue what
-
you have for us. We're pressing.
-
Thank you, Father. Thank you, Lord.
-
Begin the press in prayer. Lay a hold of the promises of
-
God. What's that scripture that
-
you've there's a, there's some here who had a word from the
-
Lord. There's a word from God.
-
There's a there's a scripture that the Lord gave you and you
-
set it down. It's time to pick that word up
-
again. Pick it up, pick it up, pick up
-
that word. There's, there's, there's a
-
promise from God. You need to pick that up again.
-
Remember the enemy's a liar. For some the enemy said you
-
can't do that. Look what you did in these other
-
parts of your life. Here, I'll give you a free one.
-
Romans 81 For there is now no condemnation to those who are in
-
Christ Jesus. No condemnation, no none, no
-
condemnation. The devil is a liar.
-
Jesus is the one who brings life.
-
Jesus is the one who brings hope.
-
Jesus is the one who brings you to the place of your fulfilment.
-
Jesus is the one in him. We have have been raised up in
-
him. We are redeemed in him.
-
We are new creations in Him, in Him.
-
Father, we thank you today, Lord.
-
May this be a moment in time where we remember.
-
I picked it back up. I picked up the promise.
-
I picked up my prayer. I picked up my belief.
-
I picked up my knowing. My knowing that He is more than
-
able, I picked it up and I won't let go.
-
I won't let the liar take it away from me.
-
I won't let complacency take it away from me.
-
I won't let time take it away from me.
-
I won't let discouragement take it away from me.
-
I'm holding on fiercely, fiercely, fiercely.
-
Thank you, Father. Lord, we praise you today.
-
Give them a shout of praise. Hallelujah.
