  1. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International

  2. Church Podcast, where we seek to love all nations, equip the

  3. church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.

  4. We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever

  5. you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get

  6. your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe

  7. some tea, and get ready to receive.

  8. Let's get into it. So today we're going to continue

  9. on a message that began last week with Pastor Terence sharing

  10. on through through just one more hour.

  11. And it used the text from Matthew chapter 26 and verse 40.

    Matthew 26 chapter mention

  12. And it said, and he came, this is Jesus.

  13. And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping and said to

  14. Peter, so you men could not stay awake and keep watch with me for

  15. one hour, just one hour, just one hour.

  16. We learned that many times we prayed to and not through, but

  17. we are being challenged and called to pray through.

  18. Have I got some people who are ready to pray through the

  19. situation? We're called to pray through,

  20. right? Amen.

  21. For those who are online, the baby was agreeing with me.

  22. I take all of it, all of it. We are also being called to new

  23. dimension, and a new dimension requires new posture.

  24. For those who were here last week, remember Pastor Terence

  25. had the chair here and he was comparing postures.

  26. If I'm leaning back and my posture is relaxed, that gives a

  27. certain body language compared to being sitting on the edge of

  28. the seat about ready to go, right?

  29. If I'm sitting here and I'm just relaxing is different than this

  30. pose, which is OK, come on. Right.

  31. And a new dimension requires a new posture.

  32. It's something to think about as we're engaging in a new a new

  33. idea of what God wants to do. We have to consider the posture

  34. that he's calling us to. And last week pastor has talked

  35. about remembrance is fuel to your prayer life.

  36. Remember, remember, remember what God has said.

  37. Remember what God has done. Remember the stories from your

  38. family we got has moved. Remember the stories that your

  39. friend, your colleague, your your the other believer in

  40. Christ has shared. Remember.

  41. And that's fuel for your prayer life.

  42. Why? Because when we remember well,

  43. when we remember well, we're actually fueling the faith that

  44. God can, he will, He's more than able.

  45. His word is true. I'm fueling and now I'm going to

  46. pray with a different effect because my prayer life is fueled

  47. by my remembrance. My prayer life is fueled by that

  48. word, that Scripture, maybe that story when God moved.

  49. And yes, you can do it for me. He's the same God today.

  50. And so I have some questions for you.

  51. What have you become comfortable with that is slowly squeezing

  52. hope out of you? I got this one because I I woke

  53. up from a dream this morning about a boa constrictor.

  54. Yeah. I'm not a big snake fan myself

  55. personally. You know, those like snakes.

  56. You're welcome. But I had this, this, this,

  57. this. Squeezing.

  58. The squeezing. There's a squeezing that's

  59. slowly taking life, But have we become comfortable in that

  60. space? What quiet addiction has

  61. silently been draining the power in your life?

  62. Can also say what quiet sin has silently been draining the power

  63. in your life? Which family and friends seem

  64. too far away for a God to move? Have you made an assessment on

  65. that and adjusted your prayer? The next one, what thing or

  66. situation has become manageable? Oh, that's a tough one.

  67. What area of your life have you said, well, I got this far, do I

  68. have to go all the way? I'm comfortable, I can manage

  69. it. I can manage that discomfort.

  70. Elder Stacey's parents would have often had a saying about

  71. the dog who sits on a rusty nail Will stay there if it's more

  72. comfortable to remain than to go, right?

  73. That's the gist of it. I think I butchered it a little

  74. bit, but the gist of it is how? Why are you comfortable sitting

  75. on a rusty nail even though it's digging in?

  76. What have you become comfortable with?

  77. What have you become OK handling?

  78. Well, today it's time to get on our knees and fight.

  79. Time to fight, time to fight. We're in the time where we're

  80. speaking about prevailing prayer.

  81. Prevailing prayer is ready to fight, to have an urgency, to

  82. have something on the inside that says no longer enough is

  83. enough. I have a holy discontent.

  84. I'm no longer going to be satisfied with the status quo,

  85. no longer satisfied with those things that have held me back,

  86. No longer satisfied just to manage it.

  87. No longer satisfied to sit back and hope something might happen.

  88. No longer satisfied I got fights.

  89. A fight that pushes the presses back, that comes to the gates of

  90. hell and says I'm coming in. A fight that's on the offense,

  91. No longer defense. A fight, a prayer that fights,

  92. that presses through, that goes and will not stop until it's

  93. done. Fight.

  94. Ephesians chapter 6 and verse 12 says, For we are not wrestling

    Ephesians 6 chapter mention

  95. with flesh and blood contending only with physical opponents,

  96. but against the despotisms, against the powers, against the

  97. masters, master spirits who are the world rulers of this present

  98. darkness and against the whole spirit forces of wickedness in

  99. the heavenly sphere as the idea of wrestling, the idea of

  100. wrestling. Have you ever seen wrestlers and

  101. they they, they get in their pose.

  102. Has anyone here ever wrestled wrestled any wrestlers?

  103. Oh yeah, a couple of guys with wrestled.

  104. OK all right. And so.

  105. So when I'm wrestling, there's usually this first position in

  106. the Greco Roman, right. I'm like here and you tussle,

  107. you got hands and then you're trying to get a grip and tell me

  108. if I'm doing it wrong. But you're, you're wrestling.

  109. There's there's contact, there's engagement and you're each

  110. opponent is seeking to dominate the other person, to put them in

  111. a position to pin them. There's this wrestle, this

  112. fight. It's interesting.

  113. We've come out of family matters and and we on the Wednesdays had

  114. faith foes and family. And sometimes we realize we were

  115. actually misdirected in who the fight was with.

  116. And in this verse, it's telling us the fight is against

  117. principalities and powers and darkness against them.

  118. But it's a wrestle now. It's a wrestle that we have the

  119. authority and power to win. It's not a it's not an equal

  120. fight, but it does require stepping into the wrestle to

  121. finish the work. Wrestle is from the word Palais,

  122. at least that's how I pronounce it.

  123. And it is a contest between two in which each endeavours to

  124. throw the other, and which is decided when the victor is able

  125. to pin the opponent. But you wrestle to win, right?

  126. In fact, in wrestling in their terms, you can actually get in

  127. trouble for being too passive. You can get deductions of points

  128. or points given to the other person if you're too passive.

  129. But when you're sitting back and you're not getting into the

  130. fight, but he's saying we're cold to the fight, we're cold to

  131. that fight, we're actually equipped for the fight.

  132. We're equipped to be able to get in and engage the opponent.

  133. We're actually equipped and purposed for it.

  134. James 5 verse 16 says the effective fervent prayer of a

    James 5:16

  135. righteous man avails much. Elijah was a man with a nature

  136. like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not

  137. rain, and it did not rain on the land for three years and six

  138. months. And he prayed again, and the

  139. heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

  140. I says it's the effective fervent.

  141. You know, what do you fervent about?

  142. What do you got passion for? What do you got zeal for?

  143. What do you have something that says, I, I've got to have this.

  144. Perhaps, you know, if you're a soccer fan, you have zeal and

  145. passion for your team. Go Man United or Chelsea or, OK,

  146. someone's going to boot for each other.

  147. Vancouver Whitecaps, yes, there you go.

  148. Come on. But there's a zeal.

  149. Have you ever met some of these people who are passionate about

  150. that sport? OK, I was, I was working at an

  151. office. This is probably now 20, oh, 15

  152. years ago, 15 years ago. And the FIFA World Cup was on

  153. and there was a, a match between Brazil and another country.

  154. I can't remember who it was. And Brazil got beaten pretty

  155. thoroughly. And one of the ladies there

  156. would was a fan like, like Brazilian.

  157. I said, oh, man, that's crazy. How was that?

  158. You know, yeah, that's pretty tough.

  159. And and she just like, didn't talk to me at all.

  160. And then I went by and there was this guy who I knew who was from

  161. the Netherlands. And he's like, if you did that

  162. to me, I'd punch you. I said, I I didn't do anything.

  163. I didn't do anything. But that was wildly passionate.

  164. Like off the charts passionate about this round ball on a grass

  165. field that goes into a twine net.

  166. And their lives could literally be up or down depending on the

  167. result of that game. They can literally go into

  168. depression for the next three months if their team gets taken

  169. out before the round of 16 or whatever.

  170. That passionate, that zealous, that excited, that given over,

  171. that bought in, bought in, bought in.

  172. What are you bought into? What's so passionate for you

  173. that's outside of this world? In the Spirit of God, what are

  174. you so passionate about? Then you've given over to it

  175. that you've got a zeal for a fervency for?

  176. Yeah. The term fan comes from

  177. fanatics. I'm a fanatic about it.

  178. What are you a fanatic about? In God, what are you a fanatic

  179. about? In prayer, what are you a

  180. fanatic about? What is it that that is so

  181. consuming you? Or is there nothing yet that

  182. comes to that level? What are you passionate for?

  183. Can it be said of you that the effective, fervent, passionate

  184. prayer of Derek avails much of Tosin, avails much of chastity,

  185. avails much of Caleb avails much?

  186. So fervent in prayer, so passionate in prayer.

  187. So given over to prayer. So given over to the things of

  188. God. So given over to the the the

  189. desire to see God move. So given over to the belief that

  190. God can so given over to this understanding and belief that He

  191. is more than able or passions like that only kept to sports or

  192. fashion or music. Says the effective fervent

  193. prayer of a righteous man avails much, and he prayed earnestly.

  194. Let's see that story in first Kings 18.

  195. Now, Elijah said to Ahab, go up, eat and drink, for there is the

  196. sound of the roar of an abundance of rain.

  197. I want to give you a quick perspective of what's happening

  198. here, Elijah. There had been 3 1/2 years of

  199. drought. Elijah goes to Ahab and says,

  200. OK, it's time for us to have a match.

  201. All of the the prophets of Baal bring your guys.

  202. I'll come up and we'll build an altar.

  203. And whoever's God brings down fire to consume it, you know,

  204. that's that's who God is. And you guys get to make a

  205. decision about what you're going to do.

  206. So prophets of Baal, all day, they're cutting themselves and

  207. doing all these rituals to try and get something to happen.

  208. And this is one of the funniest parts in the Bible where you

  209. have Elijah going, maybe he's on the toilet, maybe he's sleeping.

  210. Anyway, it's great. Go back and read it.

  211. And then he builds his altar and then pours water over it and a

  212. trench of water around it. And then the law brings fire to

  213. consume the sacrifice to prove that God is God.

  214. And then at the end of this, Elijah says to Ahab, go up, eat

  215. and drink for it. There is the sound of the roar

  216. of an abundance of rain. OK, quick point.

  217. There was no rain yet. That's interesting.

  218. So what is he saying prophetically?

  219. There was a sound of the roar of abundance of rain.

  220. Prophetically, the Lord had revealed that rain was on the

  221. way, and so he declared the prophetic in the ears of Ahab,

  222. and then he went to pray. So Ahab went up to eat and

  223. drink, and Elijah went up to the top of Carmel, and he crouched

  224. down to the earth and put his face between his knees.

  225. Now this is an interesting position, OK?

  226. He put his face between his knees.

  227. And he's praying. Lord God, you declared, Lord

  228. God, Lord your, you said, there's rain coming.

  229. Lord, you said rain. Lord, it's your word.

  230. Lord, I'm praying in your. Word.

  231. Your word says rain, Lord, there's rain coming.

  232. Lord rain is on its way. Lord, bring the.

  233. Rain. Thank you, Lord, you declared.

  234. There's rain. See.

  235. And then he says his servant up and says, OK, go, see, go, see.

  236. Go. Look towards the sea.

  237. Is there anything there? And he came back and he said

  238. there's nothing. And Elijah said back to it, back

  239. to prayer, back to pressing, back to prevailing.

  240. He says again, go up, go back, go and go and check.

  241. OK, that's one time. OK, OK, back to prayer.

  242. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord.

  243. The promise is given. The promise is given.

  244. The promise is given. OK, go back.

  245. Again, two times not there. OK.

  246. Thank you. Lord, the promise is given.

  247. The promise is given. Thank you, Lord, you said rain,

  248. You said rain. You will not.

  249. Leave your servant embarrassed. This is your.

  250. Word #3 #4 #5 number 60, Lord. Thank you, God.

  251. Thank you, Lord. You said rain.

  252. You said rain. You said rain, You said it.

  253. Lord, you said it. You said it, You said it.

  254. You said it. Hey, 7th time go and at the 7th

  255. time, at the 7th time, the servant said a cloud as small as

  256. a man's hand is coming up from the sea.

  257. That's all I need, That's all I need.

  258. That's all I need. That's all I need.

  259. All I need is a cloud the size of a man's hand.

  260. All right, It's coming. I'm gone.

  261. And I just said go up, say to Ahab, prepare chariot and go

  262. down so that the rain shower does not stop you.

  263. What had he seen? A cloud the size of a man's

  264. hand. Oh, don't worry.

  265. There's abundance in rain there. There's abundance of rain there.

  266. There's abundance of rain in a little while the sky grew dark

  267. with clouds and wind and there were heavy showers.

  268. What was Elijah doing at the beginning of the the verse 1 of

  269. this chapter? First Kings 18 one the Lord says

  270. I'm bringing rain. Now go see Ahab.

  271. So when he was praying, all he was doing is laying a hold of

  272. that which God had already said, but he would not give up now.

  273. Now here's the other thing he could have done.

  274. How many times he done this? Well, Lord, you said it.

  275. OK, I'll just wait till it happens.

  276. I can't lean on anything. There's nothing to lean on but

  277. wait till it happens. But that's not what happened.

  278. He went to prayer. He went to prayer.

  279. And you know, Daniel a few 100 years later and he reads

  280. Jeremiah. And in Jeremiah it says 70 years

  281. you'll be in captivity. And he knew that was coming up.

  282. And he didn't say, oh, well, that's nice.

  283. OK, we'll just wait for it to come past.

  284. No, he said, I went to prayer and fasting.

  285. I went to secure it, to secure the promise to possess it.

  286. Prevailing prayer presses. It presses in.

  287. In Mark chapter 5, we see an example of pressing and Jesus

    Mark 5 chapter mention

  288. went with him that he's talking about Jairus, and a large crowd

  289. followed him and pressed in around him from all sides.

  290. So what he's saying is that his people all around Jesus, there's

  291. people all around him trying to to see him and talk to him and

  292. engage with him. A woman in the crowd had

  293. suffered from a haemorrhage for 12 years and had endured much

  294. suffering at the hands of many physicians.

  295. She had spent all that she had and was not helped at all, but

  296. instead had become worse. So here she is in her health 12

  297. years, fighting, fighting, fighting, putting resource into

  298. it, spending all she had to get this this thing under control so

  299. she can live to get life. Passionate, fervent, zealous,

  300. desiring this to come to pass. Can you imagine after 12 years,

  301. disappointment, discouragement, all the people who said they had

  302. an answer and all they did was take your money?

  303. 12 years of this, 12 years of wondering why?

  304. 12 years of saying where's the end of this road?

  305. But she had heard reports about Jesus.

  306. She heard about this Jesus, heard about this Jesus and hear

  307. it. It sounds so simple.

  308. She came up behind him in the crowd, but in the crowd she

  309. pressed through the crowd. She had to get remember, it says

  310. there are people all around him and she had to find a way.

  311. Perhaps she got knocked down in the crowd.

  312. And there's this stretch, this moment, I see the the fringe of

  313. his garment. I'm going to touch it.

  314. Pressing in, holding on, she touched his outer robe.

  315. For she thought, if I just touch his clothing, I will get well.

  316. Immediately her flow of blood was dried up and she felt in her

  317. body and you without any doubt as she was healed of her

  318. suffering. You see, there's, there's

  319. examples of this pressing, this passion, this zeal, this

  320. breakthrough. So we get to take that and apply

  321. it to us. What is it we're reaching for in

  322. God that He desires to give you? But He's looking for that reach,

  323. that press, the prevailing prayer that presses through not

  324. up to the moment. She didn't get to His robe.

  325. She reached out and touched His robe.

  326. Elijah didn't pray once to say, Oh, that should be good enough.

  327. He pressed until the moment he knew he had a knowing.

  328. You see, there's a knowing that God is calling us to, a knowing

  329. that he is able, a knowing God's calling us to pray to that

  330. moment of knowing that gets us through the ribbon.

  331. Stories told of a man who a bird of prayer came on him and he

  332. prayed in the Spirit for 45 minutes, just praying, pressing,

  333. not knowing what he's praying for, but it's pressing.

  334. And a 45 minute time was up. It was about noon that day, and

  335. he knew whatever it was had been broken.

  336. That night, he received a call from someone saying, hey, this

  337. person that you know has been in a terrible accident.

  338. They're actually, they don't know where the bodies are.

  339. They don't know where where they are.

  340. And as soon as it was said and reported to him, he said, oh,

  341. good, we're good. Then you just got told bad news.

  342. How can you say it's good? Well, because he had a a

  343. conviction in the Spirit that that was the one he'd been

  344. praying for and that the breakthrough had already come at

  345. 1:00 in the morning. All the people that thought were

  346. dead were all safe. But in that moment, he could

  347. pray. And when the release came from

  348. the Spirit of God, it was done. It was completed.

  349. Though they hadn't found them, the work was completed.

  350. We're called to prevailing prayers, spirit, soul and body.

  351. When we look back at the story of the woman who had the

  352. bleeding for 12 years, she was had heard of Jesus.

  353. The Spirit of God had reminded her about this Jesus.

  354. And then she thought to herself, your soul in her soul, she

  355. thought to herself, if only I could touch the edge of his

  356. robe, I will, I will be healed. And then in her body she had to

  357. activate by pressing in engaging.

  358. And so prevailing prayer is actually taking a spirit, soul

  359. and body to the fulfillment of what God has called us to.

  360. There are times where prevailing prayer is going to call on you

  361. to fast. Not just waiting for the church

  362. to fast, but the Lord will tell you, come on, you won't

  363. breakthrough this area. I'm calling you to fast for

  364. three days. Oh well, I'll just wait till the

  365. next one comes around. No, come on now, we, we, we got

  366. to be responsive to the Spirit of God moving John 15 seven

  367. says, if you live in me, abide vitally united to me and my

  368. words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts.

  369. Ask whatever you will and it shall be done.

  370. And people love to ask whatever you will that shall be done for

  371. you, right? I love that bit.

  372. OK, let's get to the first part. OK, It's conditional if you live

  373. in me, if you're abiding in me, when He abides in us, when He is

  374. living in us, when He's alive in us, that actually our thoughts

  375. and motivation are the thoughts and motivation from Him.

  376. It comes from Him and my words remain in you.

  377. What does God said about your situation?

  378. What does God said about your healing?

  379. What does God said about your family members?

  380. What does God say? What word are you taking and

  381. laying a hold of and anchoring to and not letting go of until

  382. it comes to pass? You're praying with someone the

  383. other day and I LED with the word I said, Lord, you said

  384. you're the healer. Exodus 1526, You say you're the

  385. healer. That's not from me, that's from

  386. you, Lord. Your word says when we pray, the

  387. prayer of faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise him

  388. up. You said that.

  389. You said it, Lord. You said it in your word.

  390. We're just reminding the Lord what He said, and then we're

  391. holding it. We're prevailing in it, we're

  392. moving on, we're engaging in it, and we're believing it.

  393. You see, we must believe the Word of God is not a rabbit's

  394. foot. It's not lucky.

  395. So it's something to just put out there, right?

  396. Prayer is not a a lucky rabbit's foot that we just put out there.

  397. No, it's something we work, we hold onto, we press into the

  398. Word of God, applied and put in practice.

  399. If you live in me, we come into His presence.

  400. We live our lives submitted and surrendered to Him.

  401. And my words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts.

  402. The words alive and powerful. Let the word live.

  403. Let the word transform you. You know when you pray, you're

  404. being transformed. When you're praying the Word,

  405. you're being transformed. The words moving on you to build

  406. up your holy faith, to press you into faith, to shape you into

  407. the image of Christ. We let his word remain and we we

  408. press in. So prevailing prayer presses.

  409. Wow, don't say that too fast. Prevailing prayer presses and

  410. then prevailing prayer is Spirit LED.

  411. Ephesians 618 Like using my Bible on this.

  412. Pray at all times, on every occasion, in every season, in

  413. the Spirit, with all manner of prayer and entreaty to that end.

  414. Keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance

  415. interceding in behalf of all the Saints.

  416. So we pray at all times, every season.

  417. Have you ever got to season where I'm praying because I got

  418. my problem. I got I got my my prayer on

  419. because my problems bounced up or my urgency in prayer all of a

  420. sudden rose up because I got my problems right.

  421. Oh, that's OK. We can entreat the law for your

  422. problems, but stop, don't stop praying.

  423. Don't stop praying into your situation.

  424. Don't stop praying when the problem's solved, press in even

  425. more. You see, the same one who gives

  426. life to that problem is the one who wants to give life to you in

  427. all your life. Pray at all times in the Spirit.

  428. Be spirit LED, let the holy man. That means, yes, we pray in the,

  429. in the, in the Spirit, pray in other tongues and we pray in the

  430. Spirit because we're led by the Spirit.

  431. You might start praying for someone.

  432. You have no idea why. Lord, this person's name come to

  433. me. I don't know why, but Lord, I'm

  434. going to pray for them that you protect them, You keep them.

  435. And as you start to pray, all of a sudden these things drop in

  436. your heart because the Holy Spirit's speaking to you.

  437. Your prayer is spirit LED also. I didn't even know that whatever

  438. all I can see is this protection in their car protection in this

  439. protection in that or, or in this situation they're going

  440. into, but you're led by the Spirit, praying in the Spirit

  441. praying led by the the Spirit and we're engaging hearts. 1st

  442. Corinthians 2 I love this, I love this verse, love this

  443. verse. Now we have received not the

  444. Spirit of the world, but the Holy Spirit who is from God, so

  445. that we may know and understand the wonderful things really

  446. given to us by God. You're given the Holy Spirit, so

  447. you might know. You might know what to pray for,

  448. when to pray for. Maybe something's been revealed

  449. and exposed, but that exposure was actually to save you and

  450. rescue you. The Spirit led and you didn't

  451. even know the Spirit was leading.

  452. You didn't even know, but the Holy Spirit, who's from God,

  453. came that you might know, know for sure, Know with assurance to

  454. know him, to know his power so we may know and understand the

  455. wonderful things freely given to us by God.

  456. You want to know, man, get in the Holy Spirit.

  457. You want to know. Get into a time of prayer that

  458. presses in. It goes beyond.

  459. If we want to know and believe, we need to press.

  460. So we're going to go beyond problems to possession, beyond

  461. problems to possess that thing God has promised for you.

  462. Don't get me wrong, God says in his Word, give me your problems.

  463. He says in his word, give him supplication.

  464. That means to to ask him for things.

  465. Supplication is part of prayer. But prayer also goes beyond your

  466. problem, beyond that to possession of what has been

  467. promised. When the, the, the people of

  468. Israel got to the edge of the promised land, they weren't

  469. given it for free. They had to go and possess it.

  470. They actually had to go in and fight for it.

  471. They actually had to go in and do something about it.

  472. They had to engage. They had to go beyond the

  473. problem to their possession, beyond problems to position.

  474. Romans 517 It's not on there. It's not on the slides.

  475. Romans 5 and verse 17 out of the Amplified Classic.

  476. And it says this for it. Because of one man's trespass,

  477. death reigned through that one. Much more surely, much more

  478. surely will those who receive God's overflowing grace,

  479. unmerited favour and the free gift of righteousness, putting

  480. them into right standing with himself, reign as kings in life

  481. through the one man, Jesus Christ.

  482. Who is He talking about? You who believe?

  483. You who believe we'll now get to reign in life as kings, you, you

  484. beyond problem to position. Our prevailing prayer is going

  485. to get us to the position where we realize who we are.

  486. We take the Word of God and we say, yes, that is ours.

  487. The enemy is a liar and the biggest thing he lies about is

  488. who you are. And I tell you now, when you get

  489. your identity fixed in Jesus, you realize what that position

  490. is. There is a breakthrough for you

  491. and your prayer now will start to shake nations.

  492. Your prayer will shake your city.

  493. Beyond problems to presence, Lord, may we have prevailing

  494. prayer just to come into your presence.

  495. Yes, Lord, you know the problems.

  496. Yes, Lord. You know, Lord, you said in

  497. Matthew 6, you know we need clothing, you know we need food,

  498. you know we need shelter. You know these things, but our

  499. responsibility is to seek first the Kingdom of God and His

  500. righteousness. Lord, may we pursue your

  501. presence, pursue you, pursue your word, pursue knowing your

  502. ways. Come into the presence of

  503. Almighty God. May we have a zeal, A fervency,

  504. a passion of heart that is pursuing you, Lord.

  505. May we come like the woman with the issue of blood.

  506. The presses through, not satisfied to stay back because

  507. of the obstacle. Not say that's too much, I can't

  508. get in there. Not to say, well, that would

  509. have been nice. We're done with nice.

  510. We're on the offence, we're pressing, we're pursuing Lord,

  511. we're pursuing what you have already said.

  512. Just like Elijah when you told him it's going to rain and he

  513. went to prayer, he appropriated, he possessed the promise of God.

  514. He called on heaven for the rain because the promise had been

  515. given a father. I just pray for each one here.

  516. The Lord, we will have a resolve.

  517. And as Elder John said in the 9:00 AM experience, make a

  518. decision. Make a decision.

  519. Resolve in your hearts today that you will not let go.

  520. Resolve, determine that this is now the way I'm pursuing.

  521. I'm not giving up. I'm not letting go because you

  522. promised Lord. You promised Lord, You called us

  523. Lord, spirit, soul, and body. I'm pressing in spirit, soul,

  524. and body. I'm yielded to God.

  525. Spirit, soul and body. I'm pushing into the promises of

  526. God. Lord, I thank you that we have

  527. grit, Lord, in that moment where it appears that, oh, maybe

  528. that's just, you know, not for me.

  529. In the areas that I've made manageable, in the areas that

  530. I've made attainable, Lord, that I'm pressing rather to what

  531. you've called me to. In those areas of quiet sin,

  532. quiet addiction that I've become complacent about.

  533. I'm going to get fierce with fierce, not letting go, Father,

  534. I thank you. Thank you, Lord, that we are a

  535. people who are led by the Spirit of God.

  536. I thank you, Lord, that each one will now take this decision,

  537. make a decision to resolve that. These areas I'm pursuing, maybe

  538. it's an area where there's family members who don't know

  539. Jesus. I'm not letting go.

  540. Perhaps it's an area of healing. I won't let go.

  541. Don't. You said it.

  542. You said the Lord. I didn't say it.

  543. I didn't write that bit. You said it.

  544. You said the Lord. Lord, it's your word.

  545. You declared it. I'm pursuing it and I won't let

  546. go. I'm pressing in.

  547. I won't let go. Lord, we're pressing, we're

  548. pressing, we're pressing, we're pressing, we're pressing into

  549. the grace of God. We're pressing in to pursue what

  550. you have for us. We're pressing.

  551. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Lord.

  552. Begin the press in prayer. Lay a hold of the promises of

  553. God. What's that scripture that

  554. you've there's a, there's some here who had a word from the

  555. Lord. There's a word from God.

  556. There's a there's a scripture that the Lord gave you and you

  557. set it down. It's time to pick that word up

  558. again. Pick it up, pick it up, pick up

  559. that word. There's, there's, there's a

  560. promise from God. You need to pick that up again.

  561. Remember the enemy's a liar. For some the enemy said you

  562. can't do that. Look what you did in these other

  563. parts of your life. Here, I'll give you a free one.

  564. Romans 81 For there is now no condemnation to those who are in

  565. Christ Jesus. No condemnation, no none, no

  566. condemnation. The devil is a liar.

  567. Jesus is the one who brings life.

  568. Jesus is the one who brings hope.

  569. Jesus is the one who brings you to the place of your fulfilment.

  570. Jesus is the one in him. We have have been raised up in

  571. him. We are redeemed in him.

  572. We are new creations in Him, in Him.

  573. Father, we thank you today, Lord.

  574. May this be a moment in time where we remember.

  575. I picked it back up. I picked up the promise.

  576. I picked up my prayer. I picked up my belief.

  577. I picked up my knowing. My knowing that He is more than

  578. able, I picked it up and I won't let go.

  579. I won't let the liar take it away from me.

  580. I won't let complacency take it away from me.

  581. I won't let time take it away from me.

  582. I won't let discouragement take it away from me.

  583. I'm holding on fiercely, fiercely, fiercely.

  584. Thank you, Father. Lord, we praise you today.

  585. Give them a shout of praise. Hallelujah.

  586. Amen. Thank you so much for tuning
