Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International
-
Church Podcast, where we seek to love all nations, equip the
-
church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.
-
We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever
-
you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get
-
your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe
-
some tea, and get ready to receive.
-
Let's get into it. Mighty warrior, great in.
-
Bible I'll. Say this before I begin.
-
Just because the Word of God is spoken every Sunday, we assume
-
every house does not experience a right now word from God.
-
Do not take the word in this house ever for granted.
-
Family life has a way of making you and I forget.
-
Forget what God said. Forget what God did and forget
-
who God has been to us. Life has a way to make us
-
forget. Pain makes us forget, delay
-
makes us forget, and silence will make us forget.
-
And the danger is not that God has stopped moving.
-
It is not that God is not present.
-
It is not that God is not near. It is not that God does not
-
still heal. It is not that God is not with
-
us. It is not that God has forgotten
-
about you or your circumstances, or has he forgotten what he
-
said. But the danger is you and I have
-
stopped remembering, Lamentations says.
-
But this I recall, this I recall and therefore have I hope and
-
expectation. This I recall.
-
And because I recall, I have hope and expectation.
-
It's is because of the Lord's mercy and loving kindness that
-
we are not consumed. It is because the Lord's mercy
-
and loving kindness that we are not consumed.
-
Because His tender compassions fail not.
-
They are new every morning. Great and abundant is your
-
stability and faithfulness. This simply means, guys, that
-
that hope is not automatic. Hope is triggered.
-
Hope is triggered by recollection.
-
Hope is triggered by memory. Hope is not automatic.
-
Hope is something you have to contend for.
-
Hope is something you have to constantly fight to keep in your
-
soul. We don't drift into faith.
-
We recall our way into faith. We recall our way into faith.
-
Watch this. The mind doesn't just store
-
moments. The mind does not just store
-
moments, it prioritize moments. Am I talking to anybody?
-
Are y'all woke this morning? The mind does not.
-
It does not store moments, it prioritizes moments.
-
And if you don't intentionally recall God's faithfulness, your
-
pain will start preaching louder than your past victories.
-
Are you with me? Just because you have had
-
victories does not mean you will always walk from victory.
-
The God you remember is the God you get.
-
Am I? Am I talking to any saved
-
Sanctified. Got up early this morning to
-
come to church to be changed. The God you remember is the God
-
you get. What do I mean?
-
I'm going to put it this way. The God you see is the God you
-
get. What do I mean?
-
If you see a Carpenter, expect him to build you something.
-
If you see a healer, expect him to heal you.
-
If you see a faithful God, expect Him to be what the God
-
you see is the God you get. So what you get, do not be
-
surprised because what you have gotten is what you have sought.
-
So today talk to you from this topic.
-
Same God. Watch him do it again.
-
I know I'm only in here talking to a few people today.
-
Same God, watch him do it again. Somebody say Same God, watch him
-
do it again. Come on somebody say same God,
-
watch him do it again. Your response today when
-
somebody tell you the issues you going to say same God?
-
Watch him do it again. Come on, come on, somebody
-
complain to you today. Say same God.
-
Watch him do it again. You going to say oh that's so oh
-
wow, you going through that? Wow, guess what?
-
Same God, watch him do it again. If he did it before, he could do
-
it again. Same God right now, same God
-
back. If he did it for my grandmama,
-
he could do it for me. If he did it for Abraham, he
-
could do it for me. If he did it for Elijah, he
-
could do it for me. If he did it for Lazarus, he
-
could do it for me. Same God, watch him do it again.
-
Somebody shout out, Do it again, God.
-
Do it again, God, one more time, say do it again, God.
-
God's faithfulness. Is not proven by your current
-
circumstances or situations. God's faithfulness is anchored
-
in his unchanging nature, not your ever changing life.
-
God's faithfulness has nothing to do with how your day going.
-
God's faithfulness has nothing to do with how people treating
-
you. God does not have mood swings.
-
Come on, look at your neighbor. I think you do say to your
-
neighbor, I think you don't want with mood swing issues.
-
You don't want with mood swing issues.
-
Look at your other neighbor, Say I'm praying for you.
-
I'm. Praying for you.
-
Yeah, yeah. So I so I started watching.
-
I started to ask myself, Terrence, what do you recall?
-
I know you. You might go through things.
-
No, what? No, what?
-
What do you recall right? Sometimes it's annoying when you
-
going through something and you got friends that make you recall
-
the goodness of God. And right now I just want to be,
-
I want you to comfort me right now.
-
I don't want to remember how good God is.
-
And it funny how your spirit will resist a reminder because
-
you want to sit. In your present situation, like
-
you ain't been in this kind of position before and you ain't
-
saw God move you and change you and transform you and bring you
-
out and defeat the This ain't the first time I've seen the
-
devil fatigue. This ain't the first time I have
-
faced a Jericho. This is not the first time I
-
have faced a Red Sea. This is not the first time that
-
my back has been against the wall.
-
So why am I acting brand new? Why are you acting brand new?
-
Why are you acting like God ain't did it before?
-
What do you recall when everything around you looks like
-
God didn't come through or God is nowhere to be found or God
-
doesn't seem interested in this this particular this?
-
Is this the one God going to going to take off work?
-
This the one God told all the angels this ain't for us?
-
This the one that God told the angels?
-
This, this one too big for us? But what do you do when it seems
-
like angels ain't been dispatched, promises ain't been
-
released? What does it look like when it
-
don't feel like revival ain't landed?
-
Seemingly the pain is His will more than His promise.
-
What does it look like when it seemed like God has purposely
-
put me through this valley and then He left me in the valley of
-
quest? There is one thing that you need
-
to settle in your spirit today is God has never had a bad track
-
record. He has never lost a battle.
-
Watch this and he never will. He never will.
-
He never will. He never will.
-
No, he never will. He never will.
-
You are. You.
-
You. You.
-
He, He, he, he, he, he's, he's. Not a God of failure.
-
He's not a God. That's like, oops.
-
I forgot I was supposed to bless you.
-
October 23rd. I forgot your birthday.
-
I forgot not not one moment where God said it and couldn't
-
do it. Am I talking to anybody?
-
It's not one time God said it and He couldn't do it.
-
He may have said it and you left your position.
-
You He may have said it and you quit too early.
-
He may have said it and you forgot, but God has never said
-
it and didn't do it. I'm here to remind you today.
-
He's the same God. Watch him do it again.
-
I'm on one assignment today and that is to remind you of the
-
Gods you are dealing with. That's my assignment today.
-
It's to let you know who you dealing with.
-
Come on now. Now what I do know is before I
-
tell you who you're dealing with, it ain't nothing new.
-
I'm not here to bring you a new revelation of who you dealing
-
with and who you fooling with and who's on your side and who
-
is watching over His Word to what fulfill it.
-
He is committed to what He has spoken.
-
I know the timing may be inconvenient, but His Word is on
-
time. You got to learn to fall in love
-
with God's timing and stop pouting while you waiting.
-
Stop complaining while you waiting.
-
Understand that if it ain't the promise, it ain't over now.
-
Sometimes you excited for something, you can't wait to get
-
it, and you finally get it and the excitement leave after a
-
while. You save money for it, and after
-
a while you realize you could have lived without it.
-
You held your breath for a moment.
-
And even when God breaks through, it ain't about your
-
breakthrough. It's still going to be about you
-
and Him. It's never about what you want.
-
It's all about Him. Hallelujah.
-
You are dealing with a God who's never lost a battle, but you are
-
dealing with the God that when He speaks, chaos has to organize
-
yourself. Sometimes I think the left sides
-
are like, you'll notice sometimes when I watch films,
-
sometimes I'll be on this side a lot.
-
I'll be on this side a lot because this side seem to be
-
pulling on me a lot. This side over here feel like I
-
got to put on a cardigan sweater and sit down and, and, and be
-
very studious with you. This side I could be a little
-
ghetto with over here, but Amen. I could, I could, I could code
-
switch, I could code switch. It's all good, all good, all
-
good. But when you get some Greek and
-
Hebrew over here, then don't be mad and be like, what is he
-
talking about? You are dealing with the God
-
that went, this is the back of the class.
-
This is the back of the class Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen.
-
They proud of it too. They proud of it too.
-
They just decide you go to when you want snacks during class.
-
They pass snacks around and candy around.
-
Just decide right here that when you're struggling on a test,
-
they will not share the answer. They don't want to study with
-
you at all. They like uh, uh, uh, uh, just
-
decide to tell you get your life together.
-
They like, I don't know if that's good or bad.
-
What is that? No, be proud of both sides.
-
Amen. Be side of be proud of both
-
sides. Look, you are dealing with the
-
God that when he speaks, somebody say when he speaks,
-
when he speaks, chaos has to organize itself.
-
See, Therefore I can't be the chaos.
-
No, no, no. Chaos got to organize itself
-
because order has arrived. You, you are dealing with the
-
God that when he makes a promise, time can't cancel it.
-
Can I remind you? Just look at your neighbors, Say
-
he's just taking a moment to remind us because we get a
-
little forgetful sometime. You, you are dealing with a God
-
that when he makes a promise, time cannot cancel it.
-
Somebody say when it's my time, it's my time, it's my time.
-
You can't cancel what God has ordered.
-
You can't, you can't reverse what God has promised.
-
You can't change God's plans for my life.
-
You can't close the door that God is open.
-
You can't open the door that God is shut.
-
You wonder why I ain't dead yet. Because God has not finished
-
with me yet. Come on, somebody.
-
You. You are dealing with the God
-
that when he opens the door, no system can shut it.
-
Not no. No system can shut it.
-
No system, No devil, no principality, no dragon, no
-
demon, no spirit can shut it. When God has opened it, when
-
it's open, it is open. You are dealing with the God
-
that when he decides to move, nothing can delay him.
-
Come on, who am I talking about? God?
-
Not you. Who am I talking about?
-
Whose strength am I talking about?
-
God's not yours. You.
-
You are dealing with the God that when you run out, he steps
-
in as more than enough. Come on somebody shout out he's
-
more than enough. Come on, if you happy, say he's
-
more than enough. You are.
-
You are dealing with the God that when he went, when it looks
-
dead, he he calls life back into it.
-
I just, I just, I just believe for some of y'all, it feels like
-
it's over, but it ain't over it. It feels like it's closed, but
-
it ain't closed. I believe it feels closed
-
because it's as wide open as it's ever been before.
-
And watch this. I believe if you're not careful,
-
you will make you will. People say this perception is
-
reality, but I believe in the wrong or in the right season
-
with God, perception ain't reality.
-
So be careful moving based on what it perceives to be.
-
And I'm learning that in this season because I have been
-
perception driven. And if you are perception
-
driven, you are emotionally driven.
-
But we walk by faith and not by sight.
-
So you have to be able to deal with your perception but move in
-
God's reality for your life. So when it seems like you
-
supposed to be saying something, God says it's time to shut up.
-
But but but but but God, if I don't say nothing then people
-
will think XY and Zed and God's like let them think because this
-
is the season when your powerful mouth will get you into some
-
powerful trouble. Just because you prophetic don't
-
mean you always prophecy. You are dealing with the God
-
that when chaos surrounds you, he surrounds your mind.
-
Come on, say surround me Lord, it may look like I'm surrounded.
-
When I'm surrounded by you, he may look like I'm surrounded.
-
When I'm surrounded by you, say he may look like I'm surrounded.
-
One more time you are dealing with the God that when you don't
-
see a way, he's already made a way and the way that God makes
-
for you. Is a not through St. for the
-
devil yet the the way God makes for you is a trespassing on the
-
devil he brought. He made a way through the Red
-
Sea and when the enemy tried to take the same path, the enemy
-
got swallowed up. So he's not just making a way
-
for me, he's also putting an end to what it has bound me.
-
You made a way, you are. Dealing with the God, you don't
-
see a way. It's not he's going to make a
-
way, He's already made a way. He's not thinking of a way.
-
He's already made a way. He's not praying for a way.
-
He's already made a way. My prayers for a way is not for
-
him to make a way. My prayers for a way is to see
-
the way he already made. Somebody say he's already made a
-
way. Yes, done.
-
This. This is this.
-
I recall means to bring something back into active
-
awareness. Watch this, because Jeremiah in
-
this moment is not writing from victory.
-
He's writing from devastation. You're like, wait a minute, I
-
thought we was reading Lamentations.
-
Jeremiah He's writing from devastation, not victory.
-
Jerusalem is in ruins and everything looks like God did
-
not come through. Yet in the middle of.
-
Collapse. He reaches into his memory bank
-
and he says this I recall in the middle of devastation, he says
-
this I recall. He begins to stir himself up.
-
He begins to not be focused on what's before him, and he begins
-
to focus on the God that always has been.
-
You sound like 2nd Corinthians 10 where it says take every
-
thought captive. You can't take a thought captive
-
if you don't bring a memory forth.
-
I'm not just, I'm not. See, if I just take a thought
-
captive by itself, I am magnifying the work of the
-
enemy. But when I take a thought
-
captive and put it under a memory of God's faithfulness,
-
then I am subduing it with the word of God.
-
So in order for me to to to defeat the thoughts in my mind,
-
I got to stir up my memory bank. Sometimes when we're here
-
worshiping some of y'all sitting here, mine closed.
-
You can't fight thoughts with thoughts.
-
Sorry, that ain't the Bible. Life and death is in the power
-
of the tongue. Which means it doesn't matter if
-
death is in my mind as long as I got life in my mouth.
-
What's in my mind has them to do or come under what I'm speaking
-
in my mouth. But the problem is that some of
-
y'all mouths agree with your mind.
-
As long as we're in this body and in this world, you will have
-
deaf thoughts. Negative thoughts cross your
-
mind. But do not give your mouth to
-
what your mind is saying, if what's what your mind is saying
-
ain't what God has said. This.
-
I recall means to bring something back into active
-
awareness. Active awareness, active
-
awareness. Forget God come through for me.
-
Forget God, answer this prayer for me.
-
But what has he done? Active awareness.
-
I'm talking about an awareness at almost he almost like he just
-
did it. Faith is the substance of things
-
hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
-
So this means that I actually got to have my memory stirred up
-
on His goodness and His faithfulness in order to make my
-
faith strong. Not only does faith come by
-
hearing the confidence in what I'm believing for or the passage
-
that confirms what I'm believing for, faith also comes by hearing
-
what He's done. Because if I don't focus on what
-
he's done, I won't have expectation for what he can do.
-
Faith. Faith is not denial of pain.
-
Watch this. Faith is not denial of pain.
-
It is the discipline of remembrance.
-
OK, and we got to do, we got at least like 5 hungry for the word
-
people in here today. OK, I'm feeding you, I'm feeding
-
you. Faith is not deniable of pain.
-
Yeah, that hurt. But it is the discipline of
-
remembrance. And sometimes when you have
-
great pain, you got to have great remembering memory.
-
Oh yeah. Sometimes you stay up at night
-
not because you stress out, but you staying up at night to keep
-
stress away by way of remembering.
-
So I'm up all night remembering. I don't care if I'm praying, I
-
don't care if I'm writing in journal, I don't care if I got
-
to worship music. But I'm not going to sit here
-
allowing my mind to be plagued on what is when I have record of
-
a good God, come on. Does anybody got record of a
-
good God? Come on.
-
But why? Why would I allow the enemy in
-
my flesh to paralyze me with thoughts of things that God has
-
defeated? Why would I keep my mind on
-
losers? Why would I keep my mind on
-
loss? Why would I keep my mind on pain
-
when by His stripes I am the healed?
-
Now this is a discipline. Faith is a discipline.
-
Standing is a discipline. Memory is not just reflection.
-
Memory is direction. Because whatever you rehearse in
-
your mind eventually shapes what you believe about God.
-
What you rehearsing? Watch this.
-
You've been rehearsing what they did to you, but you haven't been
-
worth rehearsing what God's done for you.
-
So now you making the person that has hurt you your God.
-
Oh yeah, you are they your God? You.
-
You've been rehearsing what they've done more than what God
-
has done. You've been rehearsing what the
-
enemy has done more than you've rehearsed what the blood has
-
done. Hallelujah.
-
So what you don't realize is that by you focusing on loss and
-
pain, you are also saying by not saying that God's not able,
-
you're also saying that I am not the healed.
-
Because you keep on relating, watch this.
-
Whatever you relate to, you become.
-
You keep on relating to affliction.
-
You keep on relating to sickness.
-
Whatever you rehearse in your mind eventually shapes what you
-
believe about God. Great is your faithfulness.
-
Say it with me. Great is your faithfulness
-
morning by morning. Great is your faithfulness.
-
You realize Jeremiah didn't remember how great his situation
-
was? Or his devastation.
-
He didn't remember how great his progress was, or his lack
-
thereof. Or how great his feelings was.
-
He said great is your faithfulness.
-
Yeah, I feel the pain, duh. You need to tell yourself duh
-
sometime. I'm not about to say it, but I
-
feel it. Duh.
-
I'm hurting. Duh.
-
I have anxiety. Duh.
-
I do not have to give my mouth to it.
-
Watch this, Watch this. I do not even have to give my
-
facial expressions to it. Oh, let me play against
-
somebody. Who?
-
Walking on the floor limping and acting like they hurt.
-
Hey, watch this. If I'm limping and I'm like, ah,
-
if I'm a coach, I'm pulling you out, 'cause you get I'm going at
-
you. You give me you, you are the
-
weakest link right now. Ain't it crazy how when you when
-
you when you ignore, I'm like, duh, I just twisted my ankle.
-
I don't got to. You can't be a winner while you
-
want attention. You can't want attention and win
-
at the same time. Winners get attention.
-
And this is how we walk through through life.
-
We want somebody to say what's wrong?
-
How you doing? You OK?
-
1st it's like, OK, before I walk out the house, duh, I'm broken
-
right now. I'm crushed right now, I'm
-
hurting right now. But, but if I'm going to lace
-
them up and step on the floor, I'm, I'm ready to go.
-
I, I got my treatment like an athlete.
-
My treatment in the morning is prayer.
-
I, I didn't, I didn't allow the Holy Ghost to take my ankles
-
right, right. The, the, the, the, the angels
-
have massaged my sore muscles. The word of God has stretched me
-
out. So when I walk out the house,
-
ain't no uh, uh, because I'm a witness that Jesus, he'll make a
-
difference in your life. I'm a witness that Jesus, he'll
-
make a difference in your life. I'm a witness.
-
That Jesus, you'll make a difference in your life.
-
I'm awareness that Jesus, you'll make a difference in your life.
-
What's this? What's this?
-
What's this? Greatest is faithfulness.
-
Somehow we think we always got to broadcast.
-
What's wrong? So sometimes we think we always
-
like watch this though, like the only route to getting better is
-
complaining. Well, if I don't tell somebody
-
something wrong, then I won't get the help I need.
-
How many times have you told somebody what was wrong and they
-
couldn't help you? Have you ever told somebody
-
what's wrong and they made it worse?
-
Have you ever been like, why did I even say something to you?
-
Great is your faithfulness. Watch this.
-
Watch this Troy. God's silence sometimes is a
-
better word than somebody's wisdom.
-
Put that on Instagram. God's silence is sometimes
-
better than somebody's wisdom. I'm going to say it again.
-
Y'all say it with me. God's silence is sometimes
-
better than somebody's wisdom. Sometimes people wisdom work for
-
them in another season in their context, but their wisdom ain't
-
going to work. OK, that worked for your
-
marriage. That ain't going to work for my
-
marriage. Faithfulness is covenant
-
language faithfulness. Is reliability faithfulness Is
-
steadiness. God is steady, God is reliable.
-
Faithfulness is loyalty to a promise.
-
Somebody say faithfulness. Faithfulness is covenant,
-
consistency, faithfulness. God is not faithful because your
-
life is going right. God is faithful because he had
-
something to say. God's faithful over what he
-
said. He's not faithful because of how
-
you feel. He's faithful over what he said.
-
And here's the beautiful part I love is before I arrived at my
-
jacked up circumstance, He already sent a word to it.
-
Can I help somebody this morning?
-
Watch this. The devil wasn't the only one
-
waiting for me. There was a word waiting for me.
-
Hallelujah, faithfulness. How do I stay anchored in His
-
faithfulness when life feels inconsistent?
-
I think that's a question that everyone should be asking.
-
How do I stay anchored in His faithfulness when life feels
-
inconsistency? Keyword is feels.
-
Get out your feelings. Look, this, this is the truth of
-
the matter. It don't matter how much I
-
preach this today, somebody this week going to live all in their
-
feelings. It's crazy.
-
It's crazy. You got me up here sweating.
-
You got me up here preaching hard, got me up all night.
-
You got me praying for you to go out here this week and live the
-
same and then got the nerves to bombard heaven and say God,
-
where are you? He right here in his word.
-
He giving you medicine today. He giving you the gospel pills.
-
How do I stay anchored in His faithfulness?
-
3 anchors of God's faithfulness to remember He is faithful to
-
His word. Asking God to show His
-
faithfulness outside of you living in His word, outside of
-
you trusting His word is absolutely insanity.
-
He is faithful to His word. Watch this and his angels assist
-
His word, not your emotions. Yeah, you might have some homie
-
angels up there like God, just let me help this one time.
-
Like my sisters, my homies is down there hurting.
-
God let me help and God ain't even answering him.
-
He's saying you know what it is. Last time you listened to some
-
words that wasn't mine and half a year and a quarter 1/4 of your
-
homies got kicked out. So from now on listen to my
-
words, not their emotions because it was emotions that got
-
us all here. He is faithful to his word.
-
God is not a man that he should what lie.
-
Hallelujah #2. Put it up if he said it, sorry
-
if he said it, if he said it, if he said it, if he said it, it
-
will survive the season. OK, OK, here it is.
-
Let's put words together. He says that you will be
-
fruitful in every season. Watch this.
-
You are not fruitful in every season because you're faithful.
-
You are fruitful in every season because he's faithful in every
-
season. And the way to be fruitful in
-
every season is to be faithful to his word.
-
That is faithful in every season.
-
If he said it, it survives seasons #2 he is faithful
-
through generations. He keeps covenant and mercy for
-
1000 generations. He is faithful to generations.
-
That's why I can say if he did it before, he could do it again.
-
When he spoke to my grandma, when he spoke to my Mama, when
-
he spoke to my grandpa, when he spoke to my great great great
-
greats, do it again. If I can find record of His
-
faithfulness, I can snatch His faithfulness into my situation.
-
He is faithful through generations you guys.
-
So you are next slide walking in promises that started before
-
you. So He is not just committed to
-
the word that He spoke to you. Watch this.
-
What God is saying to you ain't new.
-
He is committed to bring it through you, but He spoke your
-
generations before you. Watch this.
-
Every promise to you was a generation for your bloodline.
-
God got to get something through you today so several generations
-
down the line can be where He called them to be, right?
-
The mailman ain't delivering his mail to my house.
-
The mailman picked up my mail, delivered it to me, and
-
depending on what's in that envelope, it impacts my whole
-
household. Can God deliver something to you
-
to deliver to another generation?
-
Yeah. Your, your, your, your current
-
struggle is not the full story. Can I help somebody today?
-
Your current struggle is not the full story.
-
Somebody say turn the page, please.
-
You know, if you like me, I, I sometime when I'm reading with
-
PJ, which we don't read a lot together because she reads
-
faster than me. But if we're sharing a book
-
together, she, she's ready to turn the page and I'm just on
-
the first paragraph. I'm on the first paragraph and
-
the first paragraph is a short paragraph, but I get stuck.
-
That's how I read. I got to keep reading over and
-
over. I don't turn the page until I
-
comprehend a little bit. KPJ is sitting there like she
-
waiting at a stop sign and she's like, are you, are you, are you
-
done? Can we go forward, please?
-
Right. The same way when we watch
-
movies, we'll be 30 minutes in, I'll be like, wait a minute,
-
what was, what's he saying, 'cause I just like big picture
-
stuff. I like big picture stuff.
-
So I don't like watching movies. You got to pay attention.
-
Like I got to watch those kind of movies at 9:00 in the morning
-
when I'm real when I'm at Elite comprehension.
-
OK, but this is how some of us we still stuck on paragraph one.
-
God didn't turn the page and he like if you just turn the page,
-
you'll realize that you've matured.
-
Some of y'all stuck on old man feelings versus stepping into
-
new man realities. Hallelujah.
-
No, no, no, I dare you to to make a decision today to not
-
respond the same way you used to respond.
-
The reason why you don't mind responding the way you respond
-
and is because the way you're responding is familiar to you
-
and you love that level of comfort, although you don't like
-
the reality of that circumstance.
-
So instead of stepping into the unfamiliar, which is the more
-
mature you? You're like, Nah, let me sit
-
here a little bit because I'll be OK.
-
Watch this because I've been here before.
-
I've been in this dysfunction before.
-
I've been in this level of paralysis before, so it's
-
comfortable. I don't mind.
-
When I step out here, I'm like, whoa, I lose control.
-
I don't know what's going on. But what if I told you where you
-
lose control is your safest place to be Your current
-
struggle. It is not the full story.
-
Your, your, your, your next slide.
-
Please. He is faithful even when you're
-
not. Hallelujah.
-
That's where you should have shouted because some of y'all
-
know you unfaithful. And he said were you unfaithful?
-
He still is. He Elder Don.
-
I like this because he's still filling the gaps.
-
I'm sorry, it's a die ability, but we can, we can make that
-
word work. But I ain't got no time right
-
now to give you the definition of die ability.
-
It means disability. OK?
-
Your disability is not God's inability.
-
Yes. Where where you are insufficient
-
does not mean God is insufficient, Right?
-
So you can't get caught up on where you missed it because
-
where you missed it, he made it. I love looking at people that
-
act like they ain't missed it, but even crazier, you can't get
-
excited. Over.
-
Where you missed it, He made it up.
-
Like I've learned to praise God for filling in the gaps that I
-
was unable to fill. I said, So when you really
-
remember the goodness of God, you ain't got time to meditate
-
on what's not and what hurts and what's disappointing because
-
where I was disabled, where I was dysfunctional, where I quit,
-
where I couldn't take another step, he took the other step for
-
me. Where I was 20%, he was 80%.
-
He made-up the difference. Where I couldn't encourage
-
myself, he encouraged me. Your God's consistency is not
-
dependent on your perfection. Hallelujah, Hallelujah,
-
Hallelujah. Your your God's consistency is
-
not dependent on your faithfulness.
-
I mean on your perfection. His faithfulness is not just
-
something. Faithfulness is not just
-
something God does is something he covers you with.
-
We running out of time use what I got.
-
But it's not just something he does, guys.
-
His faithfulness is something he covers us with.
-
OK, what are you talking about? PT Pastor T Tara Holmes,
-
whatever you want to call me. When When?
-
When God wants to make his faithfulness visible, he pours
-
out oil. You thought your anointing was
-
all about your gift. You didn't realize that your
-
anointing is the way he covers you.
-
If I wasn't here today, what bothers me today would Take Me
-
Out today. But because I'm in my anointing
-
today, my anointing is got me preoccupied helping you.
-
And while I'm helping you, he covering me.
-
It's why it's dangerous when you choose not to walk in your
-
anointing. Because the oil is not just for
-
your gift. The oil protects you.
-
OK, you think I'm lying. You prepare a table before me in
-
the presence of my. I love this.
-
He did not say he prepares a table before my enemies.
-
The table is not for my enemies to sit at.
-
There is not a seat for my enemies, but it's in the
-
presence of my enemies so they, so they can see who's sitting
-
with me. Yeah.
-
So I would encourage somebody else to say today to sit down at
-
the table, enemies not invited. You prepare a table before me in
-
the presence of my enemies bosses.
-
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
-
And you anoint me to sing. No, no no.
-
You anoint my head, You anoint my mind.
-
This is why I can't leave my post y'all.
-
Y'all think this post is just for me to have a word for you?
-
But whenever I step into my post, I step into the wings of
-
the Almighty. And we know what Psalm 91 say.
-
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
-
You annoy my hair with oil. Day, my brimming cup runs over a
-
day. Watch this.
-
He prepares a table in the presence of tension.
-
So if you, if you if, yeah, if you're looking for a table on
-
the beach, you're not going to find one.
-
God's not sitting at that table. Guess, guess what the Shadrach,
-
Meshach and Abednego did? There was a table in the
-
furnace. Yeah, there was no table outside
-
the furnace. Some of y'all got to understand
-
if you really want to sit with Jesus.
-
You got to you got to watch this.
-
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego chose to go in the furnace.
-
They had options. There's a table intention.
-
A table intention. Watch this.
-
Enemies are watching, Pressure is present, opposition is real.
-
And somebody shout out. And yet a table intention.
-
And yet all is flowing. No, no, I don't.
-
I don't care what's going on with me, Jasmine.
-
I don't care what's going on with me.
-
I don't care what's going on with you.
-
The point is, are you going to let what's going on with you
-
stop you from getting to where oil is flowing?
-
Oil never flows where complaining is flowing.
-
Oil never flows where victim mentality is flowing.
-
Oil never flows where pride is flowing.
-
Oil never flows where excuses are flowing.
-
He prepares the table in the presence of my enemies.
-
He sets the table before me, for me and for him.
-
Oil was used in that day for consecration, for protection,
-
for healing, and for honor. God does not wait for the fight
-
to end to anoint you. He anoints you in front of what
-
came against you. That's why you got that's why
-
you can say this oil costs anybody.
-
Watch this. You running from the fight and
-
want this oil? No, I got this oil because I
-
stayed in the fight. Watch this.
-
I didn't just sit in. I mean, I didn't just stay in
-
the fight. I sat in the fight, I sat at the
-
table and believed God. God is actively.
-
So this is for somebody that will allow this word to
-
encourage them that God is actively covering me while I sit
-
in the presence of pressure. He anoints my head so I don't
-
lose my mind. Yeah, oil was rubbed on the
-
sheep's head, so those bugs, those flies would stay away.
-
If the flies got into their head, they would beat their head
-
against the fence to try to get the flies out.
-
And some of y'all beating your head because you ain't accepting
-
the oil and you got flies of lies in your mind.
-
Watch this. It's going to be bloody either
-
way. It's going to be the blood of
-
Jesus, or it's going to be blood from you beating your head on
-
the fence because you won't focus on the oil that Jesus has
-
poured over your mind. Because only a faithful God
-
keeps covering you, keeps restoring you, and keeps
-
choosing you. Only a faithful God.
-
I don't deserve this. I've made mistakes, I've quit,
-
and you just keep pouring. Oil never runs out to the
-
obedient. Yeah, oil never runs out.
-
He keeps restoring me. Some of y'all don't even want to
-
be restored. You just want to stay there.
-
He keeps choosing you. He didn't change his plans for
-
you. Watch this.
-
The anointing is evidence that I'm in process, not evidence
-
I've arrived. If I've arrived, I don't need
-
oil. Next experience, we're going to
-
break into this oil and we're going to watch God pour His
-
presence out in a fresh way. Because if you want the oil to
-
keep pouring, you have to be willing to stay under pressure.
-
You don't like that part, huh? I want you to understand that
-
oil did not fall from trees. There's no oil without pressing
-
there. There's no there's.
-
There's no oil without crushing. There's no there's there's no
-
diamonds without fire. Everybody want a diamond.
-
Everybody want anointing. Everybody want they life
-
blessed. Nobody want crushing.
-
What if I told you that? What if I told you that the
-
crushing is part of the good news?
-
That just right over your head, the crushing is a part of the
-
good news. You cannot walk in resurrection
-
without walking and crushing. The crushing is part of the good
-
news. Watch this.
-
When are you going to start looking at the crushing as a
-
privilege? Jesus said it this way.
-
I'm paraphrasing, but I'm accurate.
-
Share my cross. Oh nobody, Nobody got problems
-
with resurrection power. Use me, Lord, when Lord says
-
absolutely, but I can't use you. You don't get to go around the
-
cross. None of us got saved because
-
Jesus went around the cross, just like the children of Israel
-
tried to go around the wilderness.
-
There's no way she can walk in the greatness that God has
-
called you to without sharing his crushing.
-
What if I told you what you're going through is a privilege?
-
Stop avoiding it and stop going through it like God.
-
I guess so versus like, wow, you would allow me to share the
-
cross with you? Or do we?
-
You just got a bunch of cross leeches.
-
You just want to be saved. You don't want to be a witness.
-
I love, I love the revelation of the old Saint.
-
When they say what a privilege we have in Jesus, then they say
-
over the 40s glory divide. They're of salvation, purchased
-
by God, born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.
-
This is my story. This is my soul raising my
-
Savior. Hold the day long.
-
This is my story Glory. This is my soul praising my
-
Savior all the day. Lord Father, we thank you for
-
the privilege that we have in Jesus.
-
We cannot be cross bearers without being cross sharers.
-
So we thank you for the privilege to go through this
-
season, whatever it may be, in each individual's life with you.
-
Your, your, your, your scripture says hello.
-
I am with you always. So I am not carrying this cross
-
by myself. I am carrying it with the King
-
of King and the Lord of Lords. So I thank you, Lord, that
-
you're in it with us. May we have revelation that
-
you're with in it with us. May we, may we understand
-
there's another in the fire. Come on.
-
There's another in the fire. There's another in the fire.
-
He's in the lion's den. He didn't just open the sea.
-
He's walking across the sea with us.
-
No man shall be lost. No man shall be lost.
-
No man shall be lost. No family member shall be lost.
-
No brother, no sister shall be lost.
-
No mother or father shall be lost.
-
No uncle, no, no, no, no niece, no nephew, no auntie shall be
-
lost. In the name of Jesus.
-
We declare a household salvation in the name of Jesus, not not
-
merely household church attendance, but household
-
healing, household wholeness, household peace, household joy,
-
household faith, household hope, household kindness, household
-
household shallow. Nothing missing, nothing broken,
-
but wholeness in every area. This is my story, this is my
-
song. That's what I decree.
-
Not one shall be lost. Not one shall be lost.
-
I don't care what it looks like, what the enemy has meant for
-
evil, God is using it for good. Yeah, it may be bad right now,
-
but let me remind you, He's working everything together.
-
Everything, everything together for good.
-
Yeah, he's turning it around. He's turning it around.
-
He's turning it around. It may take 10 years, but guess
-
what? I can guarantee he's turning it
-
around. We call families home.
-
We call Co workers home. We call teammates home.
-
We call government officials home.
-
We call in laws home, step parents home, cousins home, Co
-
workers home, neighbors home. We call them home.
-
I just declare it's already done.
-
And because it's already done, I just owe you praise.
-
I just owe you honor. I just owe you glory.
-
It's your praise that forever be on my lips forever.
-
I make a decision right now that I'm going to use my mouth for
-
your glory right now. And I and and there's a few
-
people in here that that that really mean it.
-
You didn't just come to church. You, you came and picked up a
-
weapon. And then there's some people
-
that just came to church because you Christian, but there's some
-
sons and daughters in here that's going to take the next
-
two minutes with me and you going remind yourself, you going
-
to remember of the goodness of God.
-
There's some of you that have been in car accidents.
-
There's some of you that should have been deported.
-
There's some of you that have been homeless before.
-
There's some of you that have been on the brinks of suicide.
-
There's some of you that have attempted suicide, but you still
-
here. There's some of you that have
-
had cancer diagnosed, but the last time you went they said I
-
can't see nothing. And then there's some of you
-
that are currently in a situation, but you are going to
-
speak. As though that you're not.
-
You're going to speak what God says.
-
You're going to speak into your sickness.
-
You're going to speak into matter of fact.
-
Forgive me, Lord, it is not your sickness.
-
It is sickness. I do not claim sickness for this
-
body because this body is the temple of a living God.
-
Some of you are have dealt with being on prescribed medication
-
for anxiety, for depression. But I do not find in the Bible
-
nowhere where it declares their sons and daughters are
-
depressed. I do fine where it says you are
-
the healed and not the sick. I do find where He puts rivers
-
in deserts. I do fine where he multiplies
-
bread and fish, I do multiple. I do.
-
I do remind myself that He is a provider for all my needs
-
according to His riches in glory.
-
This is why you need to read the word so you just not confessing
-
emotions. You're not just confessing
-
desires. Watch this.
-
Angels aren't dispatched for your desires.
-
They're dispatched because of what the words say.
-
So we're going to take the next two minutes.
-
And for those that are, you know, unashamed that that don't
-
mind giving the Holy Ghost their mouth, giving, giving, giving
-
the word. Their mouth?
-
Cool, That's cool. But there's some of you who are
-
going to be like, that's not my nature.
-
Yeah, losing is an easier. And for some of you, it's
-
uncomfortable to confess. That's a problem because you
-
don't mind complaining. But it's not what I feel like.
-
It's not what I think. What does he say?
-
And if you don't know your word, you can start off with this
-
word. Great is your faithfulness.
-
And you can say that for two minutes.
-
I promise you it works. But for the next two minutes,
-
we're going to run that run that run the devil out of every area
-
of our lives. We going to run every lie out of
-
every area of our lie our lives, and we are going to remind
-
ourselves and we're going to speak loud enough for our
-
neighbors to hear and we are going to stir up encouragement
-
in this room for the next two minutes.
-
If you don't mind, go right ahead and remind yourself and
-
put God in remembrance of His merits.
-
Thank you so much for tuning into this week's sermon.
