[SPEAKER_00]: looking here is to find a verse that says, God chose certain people to go to hell.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God chose certain people to go to heaven.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And they didn't have a chance to believe or disbelieve.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was that God had it all planned out ahead of time.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And of course, we see here that it is God to justifies, and there are those who are
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The elect and it does not say here that God selected certain people to go to heaven certain people to go to help Same thing with Colossians 3 and this text put on therefore as the elect of God Holy and beloved blouse of mercy So the elect are to do these things have mercy kindness humility of mine Meekness long suffering et cetera
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The other one we talked about, first, that's Lonnie, or Timothy V. 21, I charge you before the Lord Jesus Christ and the elect angel.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So we saw how there are elect angels, chosen ones as Gabriel, Michael, even Satan himself.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Second Timothy, two, ten showed us a principle going towards those who are going to be saved, those who will believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The Paul says, I am suffering.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and during hardships so that they can receive the gospel because God has his people there, God has people that want to believe on Him, so therefore we are to get the gospel out and it is for the sake of the elect.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, and Titus chapter one, I want us to turn there tonight because there's actually a few verses that I want to show you out of this text.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Titus and chapter number one, and verse number one.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Paul is servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, sometimes here, he is placing himself underneath God as servant, meaning God's the boss.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He is a bond servant, placing himself into that position.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He is an apostle of Jesus Christ, meaning that he is a cent-one that he has been commissioned to go out by Jesus Christ.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we look in the book of Acts, the commissioning, was so he would preach the gospel to the Gentiles.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now notice this phrase, according to the faith of God's elect and the acknowledging of the truth which is after Godliness in hope of eternal life which God who cannot lie promised before the world began, but in these last times manifest it is word through preaching.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: which is committed under me, according to the commandment of God, our Savior.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, we're gonna start breaking this down and while we're doing this, we're showing you somehow to study the Bible concepts and we're seeing the text.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: In the text, we have Paul, the apostle, sent out to preach the gospel.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We see in verse 2 that there is eternal life to individuals promised by God that they will have that eternal life.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Also there is the manifestation of the gospel through the preaching of the Word of God that He is a steward of in verse number 3 because God the Savior commanded Him to do it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, the key that we're looking at is, in verse number one, he talks about the elect.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, the word elect is the chosen ones.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Just as Israel, the nation of Israel, they were chosen outside of all of the other nations, starting with Abraham, God knew them before they became a nation.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is how they're gonna be combination, had it all planned out ahead of time.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So the thought of choosing here.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And the one we're going to see coming up is very, very important, because God is not going to use a word and never explain how to become.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: In other words, in John chapter number three,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Nicodemus comes to Jesus by night.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He starts to talk to Jesus and he says, Master, you're just great thing, we know you've come from God because nobody can do these things except God's with them, et cetera.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And he looks at this religious lost person.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He says, Nicodemus, you must be born again.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And then he goes through and talks about the new birth process, that which is born in the flesh, that which is born in the spirit, is spirit, marvel not that a San Diego, you must be born again Nicodemus.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And he goes on and keeps preaching.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You got to be nicknamed born again, Nicodemus.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Matter of fact, if you were a man of the law, you understood the word of God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You would know these concepts about being born again.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So he's hammering about born again.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now let me ask you a question.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: When does Jesus explain to Nicodemus how to be born again?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Isn't that interesting?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You ever think about that?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like, okay, be saved.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Go be saved now.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm telling you, be saved, be born again.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And if you're not born again, you're going to hell.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So get born again.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And you'll walk away.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Have you helped a person?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think it needs to be a little content of telling you how to be born again?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: In verse number 14, Jesus is still speaking to Nicodemus.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And he says, as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so, must the son of man be lifted up, what's he talking about, the cross.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And then later on, in verse 16, he says, for God, so love the world, Nicodemus.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He's still talking to him.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: For God's love, the world that he gave is only, we got in son, that whoever believes on him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: For God sent not a son of the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know what he told him how?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He told him how to be born again.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: If God is going to use a term like elect, don't you think that God would tell you how to become an elect?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You follow me?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God doesn't throw terms that you and just kind of leave them drifting out there without explanation.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The nation of Israel was chosen.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God used Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, the 12 sons, had it all planned how they were going to become a nation.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: A small nation chosen by God, a remnant that we'll learn about in Rome as 11, that God chose for a specific purpose, and not even all those that were in Israel were the remnant.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was only those who didn't bow the knee to bale.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, God is going to explain something here.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, those who are Calvinists would say, God, elixue, you don't choose God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: In other words, God chooses man, man does not choose God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Therefore, there is no faith.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And every place that does talk about for by grace or he's saved through faith, the comment back is this.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You have that faith comes from God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Nice little cliche, you know.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So everything comes from God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So therefore the faith that you have to believe in him has to come from God also.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So eliminates the free will of any human being.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, question, do you choose every day of your life?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: y'all chose to come to church tonight.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why, but you are here, right?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I even chose to come to church tonight, you know?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we make choices every day.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We are made with a free will.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You have a free will.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You have a choice.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now in this text, I want you to notice something that is according to this election.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Verse number one, Paul Servant, Paul Sue dees Christ, according to the faith of God's elect.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God's elect therefore have a faith, a belief, the word faith means to believe, the faith of the elect, and the elect have the acknowledging of the truth.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: After Godliness and other words, the truth, God wants you and I to live like God, he wants us to live God's league to have the mind of Christ, the mind of the Word of God to live for Him because when we live for self or miserable, right, we're always struggling up, we're just struggling within our hearts and our minds and God is saying this and I want you to live for me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know what we're learning here, folks, more than just election.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We're learning that you and I as believers in Christ, faith in Christ become the elect.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: When we come to the acknowledging of the truth, we are the elect.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and the elect also have the assurance of eternal life because God promised that also before the world became, that because you had faith in Christ, you came to know the truth, you also have the promise that God had way back in the predetermined plan of salvation that he's going to give eternal life to all who are the elect.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You can't perish.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: your his, your in his hand.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And they hope of eternal life, which God who cannot lie, that is about the eternal life, he promised that eternal life before the world ever began.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Things didn't occur to God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't just think of something, let's try it this way, you know, I have a thought.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's planned out and God had the whole thing planned out.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Let me build a little bit more on the next one, first Peter.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And chapter one, here's one of the classics on the subject of the election.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't wait to get to this one because we've already learned the faith of the elect.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The elect have faith.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not forced on them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They have a choice.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They believe God, right?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: First Peter 1, here again, Peter.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Apostle Jesus Christ, to the strangers, scattered throughout Pontius, Glacia, Capidocia, Asia, Bethanyah, elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father stopped, right there.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Don't look any further.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I want you to look any further, because that's where they'll stop.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: This is the concept that you want you to see.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You are elect according to the four knowledge before hand-known.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We've already looked at this subject.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You are elect according to the four knowledge of God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We might as well close it down because God knew it ahead of time, who would the elect were going to be so we can go home.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So they're right.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Ah, but if we read the rest of the verse, it actually changes everything.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, here's that place that I wanted to bring you to, because this is what they do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not trying to be mean, I'm not trying to be too sarcastic, but I get a little sarcastic once in a while.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Another place, John 15.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: another classic text of the Calvinist, the only problem is they didn't finish the rest of the verse, you know what God chose them for in that text?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't say salvation.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You have not chosen me but I have chosen you and ordained you that you should go and bring forth fruit and that your fruit should remain.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God had it all chosen, planned out that the Christian, the believer in that text, the apostles, the chosen ones were to go.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's what he planned at a time.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's why they were chosen in the text.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't say, and I have chosen you, Peter, to go to heaven.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He never said that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And Peter, I have chosen other people to go to hell.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He never said that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We're putting words into Jesus' mouth.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The same thing happens here.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Elect, according to the four knowledge of God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So therefore God knew ahead of time who was gonna be the elect, not so, not so at all.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Matter of fact, what he says is this.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Elect, according to the four knowledge of God, the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Ah, now we're dealing with salvation here folks.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He says also, in the obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ, and then he says to them who are the elect grace unto you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: In this text, I believe thoroughly that God is now going to explain to you and I, how you and I have become the elect.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't because God said in his knowledge ahead of time, okay, Sandy, I love and over here, I don't like you and Shirley, you're a great person.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I think I'm gonna like you and love you and you get to go to heaven and you get to go to hell.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Because that's the thought here, the four knowledge of God for election.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I choose you, I don't choose you, I choose you, I don't choose you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But what he is saying is, there are the elect and the elect are elected by God through a process of sanctification.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The sanctification, or to be made holy, there's different words.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Am I going too fast, Maria?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You doing okay?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, you follow me?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: This is an important part.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The sanctification process is twofold in the scriptures.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: There is a ongoing sanctification.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We are to be sanctified daily, but he made holy daily, as we walk with the Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But there is also a concept that you are holy, period.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're holy.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You are sanctified.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You can't get any better.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's the one.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: This is not a progressive sanctification, but rather God looking at you through the Spirit sanctifies you or makes you holy in His sight.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: How is that done through the obedience of the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Ring a bow from Sunday morning's message,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That this is, yeah, and this is no.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I hope this is ringing about.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Remember talking about the sprinkling of the blood?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Where was that done?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: At the mercy seat, inside the holy of Holies, they would come in sprinkling the blood of those animals for the atonement, seven times on the mercy seat, and the covering of the sin would take place as a result of that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's that love covering the multitude of sin.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The love of God covers the sin through the person of Jesus Christ, the grace of forgiveness comes as a result of that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The obedience, as I have studied this out in this text, it was not the obedience of Jesus Christ shedding His blood.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was the obedience of the elect with the sprinkling of the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ on their lives.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You see the difference?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The elect were obedient to the truth.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The elect were obedient to having the blood of Jesus Christ applied to their lives and therefore elect through elect by obedience.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You become elect through the sanctification process of the Spirit of God that happens.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: New birth, you are born of the Spirit, John chapter 3.
John 3 chapter mention
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Titus III tells us in verse 5 that is through the Spirit of God that we are regenerated or made born again, and the list goes on.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So the sanctification process that happens through the Spirit of God is through the new birth process that you are made a new to be regained, is word regenerate means that you're
-
[SPEAKER_00]: what you were you're not anymore and positionally you are not what you were before you were saved you are sanctified now you're made whole through that process of the spirit of God and then secondly the application of the blood of Jesus Christ on your life and the obedience to that makes you whole makes you the elect so you cannot be elect without the blood.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You cannot be elect without the sanctification of the Spirit of God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It must be there.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: How was that done?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The rest of the text tells us, Romans 3, John 3, John 5, first John 5, the list goes on with all the texts we could talk about, believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and now shall be saved.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He that has the Son has life.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He that doesn't have the sun, does not have life.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: If you have Jesus, you have eternal life.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: If you're with that Jesus, you're doing it on your own, you're lost.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And there's nothing in between.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, no purgatory.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing in between.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: There is nothing in between.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And then continuing, so this obedience and the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ, there is therefore those who were elected and foreknown through obedience and sanctification of the Spirit, and by Jesus' blood being sprinkled on you, so there had to be an obedience
-
[SPEAKER_00]: 17 excuse me, chapter 4 verse 17, for the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And if first, it begins at us, what shall the end of them that obey not the gospel of God?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And there's a question there.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: In other words, we as a church, he's teaching us, we need to evaluate ourselves and we need to judge ourselves.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: because if we're not going through the process of making the right judgments to do right, to live for the Lord, if we're just kind of going in limbo like first Corinthians, the whole book, if they just kind of let everything go, then God has to step in and he has to start whipping people.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And you know what, it's gonna start with us first.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But if God takes a time to correct you and I, what will the end be for the lost world?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what he's talking about.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The lost world, he says in this text, have not obeyed the gospel.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Are you seeing this in the subject of election and for knowledge and what man's responsibility is?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It is possible according to this text for a person to hear the gospel and not obey it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And he is saying that there are those who have not obeyed the gospel.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It has been clearly given to them and they said, I don't want that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And therefore, God's judgment to death and hell because of their decision will be there.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: There are so many clear verses like this folks that tells you an eye about the responsibility that the lost world has to either receive or reject the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: There is an obedience that I had to do when I was 19 years old when I invited Christ into my heart.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And you look at your own personal life.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: When you heard the gospel, you needed to submit to it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You needed to trust in him.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You needed to say yes to the good news that Jesus died and he rose again for you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's the concept.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So again, God is showing, look at, there's a couple of others.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted you to see in that same line.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Look at the book of Hebrews chapter 5 verse 9.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And these are not written here.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: These are other ones that this is free, in other words.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And being, I'm in, I mean, Hebrews five, nine, I'm gonna go a little quicker now.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And being made perfect, he became the author or the captain of eternal salvation onto all them that obey him.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So there again, those who have obeyed Christ, have obeyed the gospel, receive eternal salvation.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we could stop right there and I know that, but there's other verses on election.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So we're gonna keep on going.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And second John, we're looking up at the board again, second John, and chapter one, verse one, tells us the elder onto the elect lady and her children whom I love in the truth and not only, but also all they that have known the truth.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Here, the elect lady is talking about the church.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So the church, again, as we've been teaching over last month in Revelation and other places, they church the religious systems are in the feminine.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so therefore, again, she is the elect chosen lady.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, in this text,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He never says, who my love and the truth, he's saying, I love the elect lady, I'm not only but they know the truth and he's talking about that local truth, that place that he's dealing with and everybody that obeys the truth, I love you and the truth, but he doesn't say, and I hate other people and they're not going to get to go to heaven.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He just says, I love the elect lady, you know?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know what God loves the church.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and he does.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You are a beautiful, beautiful bride in his sight.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Second John 113, he says, the children of thy elect sister greet thee, amen.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And there again, using the word elect in that text, again, showing you that he is not choosing some to eternal life and choosing some to eternal condemnation.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It isn't there.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I have several other verses up there because the same concept is there.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I do want you to see the first Peter again.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We're going back there.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and verse 4, verse Peter 2, 4.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I'm going to read the verse, and then we'll show you some foundation of it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: To whom coming as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God and precious, you also, as live as stones, are build up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, guess what we're dealing with?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's look back.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: As newborn babes, desire the word of God, verse number two, if you have tasted at the Lord His gracious, to whom coming as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen in the word chosen there is the elect of God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: If the exact same Greek word we've been seeing in all of the other verses, I wanted to show you this one.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Here again, so they're going to go into Greek.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'll go into Greek.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the Greek word for it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Greek word for elect means chosen translated chosen here, and you are chosen of God as anybody have a problem with that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God's chosen me, I'm chosen of him.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know why I'm chosen because I believed in him.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I invited Jesus into my heart.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Therefore, God says, I choose you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're elect, you're in, you're part, you're the church.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I love you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're part of it all.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I have sanctified youth of the Spirit, the blood of Jesus Christ is applied, you have eternal life, can't lose it, promise to you, the elect is never going to change.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Same thing, verse number nine.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: but you are a chosen or elect generation, a royal priesthood, whole nation, peculiar people that you should show forth.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The praises of him who was called you out of the darkness into the marvelous light.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Notice saying, you and I have been chosen to live for God a holy life to be a light to this dark world.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's what you and I have been chosen to do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You are elected by God chosen to do this function.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and the list goes on.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Revelation 17, and this will be the exhaust of study.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: In verse number 14, I'm going to read it right Obey because I need to save a couple minutes here.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: This is Revelation 17 and verse number 14.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The shall make war with a lamb and lamb shall overcome them for he is the Lord of Lords King of Kings.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and they that are with him are called and chosen or elect and faithful.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So the elect chosen faithful get to battle with the Lamb as he is coming in to restore back to this earth as King of Kings in Lord of Lords and guess what?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We're part of all of that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We're the elect.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I know, you know, don't let words scare you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what, you know, I was talking to this Christian friend of mine, and I was just talking about some things, you know, in the scriptures, and I was going through the Fusion's One.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I used the word, elect, and he stopped me, and he said, don't you use that word around me?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Because that's nothing but a Calvinistic word.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, oh, I was pretty on Chris.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, oh, I just read it in a Bible.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I thought it was a good word, you know, and I, and I, from then, I tiptoed around it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, oh, no, Christians don't talk about election and predestination and for ordination in these biblical words because it's like an evil thing.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's of God, folks.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We just have to understand it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not a bad word.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You are elect.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's all say it together.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I am elect.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's say it together.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I am elect.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Then that make your field good about yourself, just get goosebumps all over, don't you?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And you know why your elect is because you believed in Jesus.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You've been sanctified by the Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You've been made holy in His sight.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The blood of Jesus Christ has been applied.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You have eternal life.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You have everything you need to live Godly.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, go live for Jesus, elect.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You've been chosen to live for God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: There's also election.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: This one's going to take too much time.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: This is the one I can't wait to get to.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll need next week to do that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Am I going too slow for you?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Is this okay?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: All righty because sometimes you can get bogged down in a subject and I understand that but this was being recorded and there are going to be people I've had people in this church and they will say I am a Calvinist and it's almost like prove me wrong and what I want to be able to do is go in and slip it off the shelf and say let me show you a study that I want you to do on your own.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I want you to study these subjects out which is studying these words out and the next one is election and I do want you to read Romans 11 next week.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Romans 11, through this next week, and you will be confused.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And then it's going to start, I would encourage you to read it more than once, because you're going to say, I don't understand this.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's okay.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to read it again, and we come together, we're going to try to show you the sense of this powerful text of Israel.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and the choosing, and the bell worship, and the remnant, and the chosen ones of God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it is in here three times the word election, according to the election, and then we'll get into some of these other closing ones, and then we'll finally conclude with Romans chapter nine, and we will see that great chapter on certain people got loves and
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Take it above the love.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: These are all of a hated, feroid, didn't have a choice in a matter, we're going to see some of those things.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Father, bless the time.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Help us.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Help us, Lord, to understand and to seek you and your word and not the wisdom of man.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Lord, we have tried our best to look at your word and it alone open-minded to see within the text what you are talking about to us and where we are thankful for the sanctification of the Spirit of God and that your blood has been applied.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We thank you for the eternal life that you have given us, that we can have that hope, that assurance in that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And Lord, I do not know the hearts of each one here tonight only you do, the Lord or if there are some struggling with the subject, may to seek me or somebody out to talk about the wonderful free salvation that you've provided in Jesus' name, amen.
