[SPEAKER_00]: to Second Chronicles, Chapter 29, verses 27 through 36, Second Chronicles 29, 27 through 36.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: When you found that, would you please stand for the reading of God's Word?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And when the burnt offering began, the song of the Lord began also, with the trumpets, and with the instruments, ordained by David, King of Israel.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And all the congregation worshiped, and the singers sang, and the trumpets sounded, and all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And when they had made an end of offering the king and all that were present with him, bowed themselves and worshiped.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Moreover, Hezekiah, the king, and the princes, commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the Lord and with the words of David and of Aspa, the Seer.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And they sang praises with gladness,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and worshiped.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Then hezekiah answered and said, now you have consecrated yourselves unto the Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: In the number of the burnt offerings which the congregation brought was three-score and ten books and hundred rams and two-hundred lambs.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: All these were for a burnt offering to the Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And the consecrated things were six-hundred oxen and three-thousand sheep.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But the priests were too few.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: that they could not play all the burnt offerings.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Wherefore, their brethren, the Levites did help them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Till the work was ended and until the other priests had sanctified themselves for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And also, the burnt offerings were in abundance.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: with the fat of the peace offerings and the drink offerings for every bird offering.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So the service of the house of the Lord was set in order.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And Hezekiah rejoiced in all the people that God had prepared the people for, the same thing was done suddenly.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Let us pray.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Lord, we thank you for your word.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We thank you for this.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: History lesson of setting things in order, Lord you are a God of order.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We thank you for that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We thank you for being here with us right now in our hearts, in spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We just thank you for our pastor.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We just ask that you bless him, touch his body.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And just touch his soul and just touch our spirits, open our hearts and minds.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We thank you, Lord, for this time.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We just ask that you bless it in Jesus' precious name.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Amen.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Like guys who've had back problems, you know, you lay, and then you lay some more, and then you lay a little longer.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And then you just start getting that I got to move, I got to get out and do something.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so yesterday morning, I had a little time, I thought, there's some things for the yard sale that didn't sell so we were gonna give that the goodwill.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so I thought, now we'll be the perfect time.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing heavy or anything just lights up, you know, just move it into the car.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And after I was done, I stopped and looked at my garage and I said, wow, is it amazing when you clean your garage, how big they look?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I can actually get my other car into the garage now and set a scrape in the ice off of it all this winter.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It just makes you feel so good when you get that cleaning done, you just walk around, you walk through it, you know it's there, and we are so good at procrastinating.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And we think I'm gonna get to it one of these days, and it's, I did it, and I felt so good after it was done, setting things in order.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I remember, as a kid, when I was in school, there was always something like haunting me until I got done with my homework, or I got my study is done.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There was always these things that you're going through and you know back here, it's like, I need to get this done, and if I were just to get it done, I'd feel better than.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We know it's going to make our life better and easier if we do them.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And even our wife will smile at us, gentlemen, when we finally get that honeydew list completed and done, the wives are going, oh yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Order.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Order.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Our God is a God of order.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: From creation, we see each day, methodically, God doing something to get in order until man finally was created.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There needed to be a place, there needed to be water, there needed to be the plants, all of these things needed to be done.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And then God took that which was in His image, the most important thing of creation, and put Him on that earth, this earth, to manage.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We see it through to family, how God created order, making man first, then woman, then children.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We see it with government that God had created.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that is what our form of government has been based upon the judicial, legislative, et cetera.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: These branches that God has created.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And we find them in the Old Testament.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why it is the way it is for ourselves.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We see it in the church, the Jesus Christ is the head over all things to the church.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: and then he put pastors and he placed deacons into the positions and we see order with it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Even in the revelation, you will see God breaking down to tear down what man has created to establish his world order.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, he will have a world order.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's one of the big topics right now.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: This new world order.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Trust me, when Christ comes back, he'll take
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, if we are to, and these next messages are all from point one or point A, which everyone is saying, until a specific point that we are actually getting everything in order to be ready.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And what I'm getting us ready for is a battle in the Old Testament.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And we're going to see symbolically how you and I are to take as Hezekiah did.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He took everything from point one, the whole way to get everybody ready.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Remember how, remember when those letters were coming to the leaders from Senacrum?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: How all the people who just stood there and said nothing, I'm going to show you why.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There was a reason they reacted that way.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You know why?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He's a guy I got him ready.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And you're going to see, even at that point, the war hasn't happened yet.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Folks, there are things that are in our future that we have to get ready for.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And if we don't get things prepared methodically, as God places things in order, it is going to overwhelm us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that day when it comes, Wicked Possibly could lose it, rather than being a great witness.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Last evening, I got the call from Harold, some call him Jimmy.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And all that he said on the phone, we were just just ready to sit down Laurie and I to together.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And we sat down and Harold said, I lost mom pretty much click.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And he was totally taken.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But we got together, and we started praying, and as I walked into door, I remember at the places they were there at that time, we're taking pictures of different places.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know if the police looked on the doorway, because I want to, it said, he will never leave me, nor forsake me.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And even in that time for Alice, God's presence was there.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And for Harold, God's presence was there.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And yes, there were some tears.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But you know what?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He's okay.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And God's going to help him.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There are battles and things in our lives that we as Christians should not be taken or overtaken with.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We need to be prepared.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There is a rapture of Christians.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There is a point.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There is a day.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: that we're going to be taken away.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We are governing our lives in order for that day.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: First of all, he says, at this way, for the which cause, I also suffer these things.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Nevertheless, I am not ashamed for I know who I believe and have persuaded that he is able to keep that, which I have committed unto him against that day.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that day is either death or rapture.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's something that we have to prepare ourselves for.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: If you are here without Jesus Christ as your Savior, you're not ready.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to show you some verses about that.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We want to get you ready.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But there's also things.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There's battles, Christians, and our lives that we have to contend with.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Things that, well, we don't even always see them coming, but they come upon us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We have an enemy.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He's called the Devil.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't like us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He wants to destroy us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so if we prepare as Ephesians 6 tells us and put on the whole armor of God that we will be able to withstand and then he constantly says, stand.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what we're supposed to be able to do.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And by the way, as he tells us in that text, we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against these principalities, these rulers of darkness, it's the evil, if you will.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And guess what, you can't win on your own.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And what we're gonna see in this text is that when the battle comes, it is the Lord our God who fights for us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We're not on our own in these battles as Christians.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And there will be a taxor, will be problems.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There will be opposition that is going to come our way.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's get ready.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's see how he got things in order in this chapter.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: In verse number three, we're in chapter 29.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Going backwards now.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: chapter 29 and verse 3.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Right after it says that He's a guy I do that which is right in the side of the Lord verse 2, He in His first year of His reign, in His first month, opened the doors of the house of the Lord, and look what He did, He repaired them.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Before all of the idolatry that His father and generations before were involved with, they
-
[SPEAKER_01]: made it horrific places of idolatry.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And you say, why in the world is real ever do that?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Because they were lost.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And they were looking and trying to create their own God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And they were doing it the wrong way.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And they didn't submit to God's way.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Because God's way is sometimes really hard.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes God's way goes against our nature.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so God had established already the temple, and they were taking it into a place of pleasures instead of a place of real true worship.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And there's one thing that you will not see recorded during the idolatries.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You will not see true biblical joy.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They were going through their forms of worship, but it was more of a slavery.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm known, and I was there.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: In my early years, that slavery, in that bondage of the idolatry and that haunting, never knowing if you're right, never know if you're pleasing your God, never knowing the truth, you're in darkness, Christ, our God here does not want people in darkness.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So he went, and you remember this is the King.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: This is the king, instead of just being on his throne saying go do this, go do this.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He is literally going himself and he goes to the place of worship and he opens those doors and he goes, oh, look at this.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They're burning wrong things to the idols.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Everything was wrong.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Remember how Christ went in and it had to cleanse the temple?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he's doing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He's coming himself to do it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He took ownership.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: to this, not sending people.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the things that if we are to really stop and to look at our temples, where the Holy Spirit is, if we are sometimes to really open up the doors and to really open mindedly examine what we'll be seeing, what things have we allowed to creep in that are not pleasing to God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so he begins to take by opening the doors and then what he says is he repaired them.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Now comes the healing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There needed to be a healing in a time of taking all the things out and putting the good and implementing them back in, and he begins to heal to be against to repair.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Then what's really neat in starting verse four then, he brought in the priest's Levites and gathered them together in the East Street.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So He gathers all the leaders together, and this is what He says to Him.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: This is not to everybody.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He brings in His leaders only.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And by the way, in Leviticus, you will see the Levitical Orders that these men were to conduct themselves by, and they had wasted their lives.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They were doing nothing that God had developed for them to do.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So He said to Him, here you my Levites.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Number one, sanctify now yourselves.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, when you feel like it now today, order starts now, because if we think I'm going to get to that next week, you know what next week is going to do.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to have another excuse, why it needs to be the next week.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Order happens now when we decide and say it is time, we then do it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the order that folks, I'm trying to get our minds to get to.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There are things as Christians that we know in our minds that we have been waiting and waiting and procrastinating.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It may be witnessing to an neighbor.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It might be trying to encourage somebody.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody you need to visit, whatever.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Don't wait.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Today is all you have.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We do not know if we have tomorrow.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's get things in order now.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He says, sanctify yourselves that is purify go through this cleansing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He says, also, I want you to sanctify the house of the Lord of your fathers, carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place, time to clean up.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: the whole place and that's what we have been talking about, getting things in order.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So now he is taking the leadership and he is developing them, he is restoring them to the rightful positions and he is taking them and saying you now are back in charge, get everything in order.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm sure there was some hesitance.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure there were some, what did the Bible say back there we were supposed to do?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: What did Moses write to us?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm sure getting back into this scriptures and getting everything in the order and they went through cleanse the house and he developed leaders.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I say this, folks, and I mean this is humbly as I can.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: When I came to this church 11 years ago,
-
[SPEAKER_01]: One of my most sincere prayers was, please Lord, surround me with good men.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The ladies, I do not say that in any disrespect because you have heard me teach how God powerfully uses women throughout the scriptures.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Mary was like really important.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: you know what I mean?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And a man couldn't do that, you follow me, we're all different, and that's what God created us, and we're glad.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so God has created us, man, woman, and yet God has established, even here, the little bit of a line, they would have been men, and they took the charge, and they took leadership, men.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so,
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I said, God, please surround me with good godly men, because there's no individual man that can do it all on their own.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He has a guy that couldn't do this on his own.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He had to have men that were going to surround him and take care of different avenues, different ways of principles that needed to be done, and sure enough, he established and developed them, and he gave them the charge.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Get yourselves ready, men.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: engage.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You take on now the ownership that God has called you to and now then do it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Don't wait, you have now, do it now.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: God has graciously answered that prayer and I thank God for every deacon, every trustee for those who are heading up visitation and missions and discipleship and this is a list goes on.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The youth ministry, the teaching ministry, the D2.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, a lot of people come up and say, hey, what's going on with this?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'll be like, I don't know.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I, I'm not, I don't know, or Jill was talking to me about and Sunday's going to ask me a couple of questions.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I said, Jill, I have no idea.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You know why somebody else is doing it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It isn't an awesome one.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You can delegate to somebody else.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You don't have to follow them to see if the job is getting done.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You follow me?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's leadership.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's when he was saying, let's get the job done.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: For this church to become what it needs to be, we will need men to take on leadership.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Sadly, what we are seeing happening around in other countries is that local churches can't even find men to usher and to take up offerings and to hand out communion.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: and they have compromised in placing ladies into that position.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: West popular this day and age is saying, you're against women, no, I love one really pretty one over there.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I do.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking about rules that God has established.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Sadly, I have one guy.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: His church, they had ordained a woman minister in this particular denomination, and he knew the word.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I sat down with them.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I said, what are you guys doing?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He goes, well, we didn't want to ordain her and put her into the position of a pastor, but we had to.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I said, why?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Did you have to?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We couldn't get a man to step forward to do it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I looked at him.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: quiet for a moment.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, what about you?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Here you are teaching and we're having Bible study together.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Why can't you do that?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He's about his head.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, let's do it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: your lady, your wives, need you to take leadership in your homes.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That was what God designed you to be.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You need to be a spiritual leader, take charge.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't say Lord over and bark out orders as nothing to do with biblical leadership.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking about you shouldn't have to have your wife come to you, Sonny Morning, say you go in the church today, honey.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: can you please come?"
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, you should be saying, no, of course we're going to church.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You don't have to ever have to ask me that again.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: This is what we're doing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You need to be leading and prayer in your home, leading in the Word of God to be able to teach your family when your wife comes and asks you a question about the Bible, you ought to have the answer.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: She shouldn't have to call me, not that I'm mind.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm serious, I don't mind that, but in the scriptures it says that the wives ought to be able to go through their own husbands, if you didn't know the Bible said that, to ask them, what does this mean?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That means you have to get in the word yourselves, man, and you have to have that leadership.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Be if you will, the priest of your home.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: This world has given us this philosophy of home, and there is absolutely no order in it anymore and it's absolute chaos.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And we're wondering why we're divorcing and fighting and squabbling, this because men won't be men for a lady to follow in the first place.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't blame the ladies.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I blame the men, and I can say that because I am one.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Order, so these men stepped up.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And they went in and they got in and they cleaned house.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Look at verse number 10, what he has a chia says.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Now it is in mind heart to make a covenant with the Lord God of Israel that his fierce wrath may turn away from us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: See what he knows is that God has been reacting to the way man has been conducting himself.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Man has gone into idolatry.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: God can't sit back and say, oh, that's okay.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Now he can't do that.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: God has to react.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So God allows the captivity of Israel, the northern tribes at this point, and all the corruption things that have been going on around Israel, and God hasn't been pleased with them.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, as a parent,
-
[SPEAKER_01]: when your kids won't listen to you and they'll do just the opposite of what you want them to do does that make you happy or sad?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, this is folks, I hate to say this.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: This is how elementary it has to be.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, does this make you angry inside?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Because the kids as I don't care and clean this room up, I'm not gonna do my homework, I don't want to do it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You can't make me, you hit me, I'll tell people, and they'll throw you in jail.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So kids are in control now, and they know that.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, parents, let's take our homes back, amen?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: What a system we're in.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We can't even whip our kids anymore.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: If throw him in jail, they correct their kids, give me a break, reprobe, reprobe, re-proverbs, God's right, man's wrong.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so all the sudden we have this thing, their God, is looking at his and saying, I've been telling, here it is, this is what I want you to do, and you're doing just the opposite.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So listen, you're a big trouble, Mr.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I have to correct you as a result of that.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, Hezekiah is looking at what has been going on and saying, we can't do this.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: If we don't turn, then God is going to be against us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And we're not going to have the blessings, the following.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what we're heading to.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The result of all of this was praise and worship and joy.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: In that what we want in our homes, praise and worship of joy.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We want to be home and eat around the table and everybody's happy.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what, that doesn't happen because of chaos.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It happens because of order.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so all of a sudden he says, we got to get this thing in order.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is what's in my heart.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: What is in my heart is to make this agreement covenant with the Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And the covenant basically is, I'm going to God, you're the boss.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You're right, and we're gonna clean the temple.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna get the, the, the Levites in order, and we're gonna go through the sanctifications.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna get cleansed, and then we're gonna be able to worship you the way we're supposed to.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna get things in order.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: God, you're right.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I have yet to find a person become a Christian, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, that has said, God, I have my own way.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like yours.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But we in our hearts stop and say, God, my life is chaos.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I want your blessings.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And when we yield to God and put God back on the throne and not ourselves, all of a sudden God says, I'm ready, I'm listening.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what he wants.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's exactly what he did.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So his heart was renewed.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Sadly, in my life, there have been a lot of times in my Christian life that I went away from the Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And every time I went away, that one sheep that was going off into the mountains, and the Lord our shepherd comes back after us, doesn't he?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Because he loves us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so here I am, do my own thing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And all of a sudden, it's miserable, it's confusing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm hurting relationships, I'm burning bridges, the trust are going, all these negative things that are happening.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And all of a sudden, I've stopped, and I realized, you know what?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: God and God's people are way over here.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And here I am by myself.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: If I just go back there, everything's gonna be right again.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: If I stay over here on my own, it's chaos, I'm on my own, and I'm praying and prayers aren't getting answered.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't understand what God's been doing in my life.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I have no peace in my heart.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: All of a sudden, you kind of come to yourself.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You come to your senses and realize, it's not everybody else, it's me.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm the one that's wrong.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And then your heart begins to change and you want to be renewed.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You want to go back to where you're supposed to be.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what Hezekiah is doing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Taking the heart and going back to God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There are many that go through church things, go through family things, the work thing, and they know that their heart is over here and not with God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And there may be some Christians here right now.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You stop and you say, yep, I've been playing church.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I've been playing Sunday's school teacher.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I've been playing deep and I've been playing this and that.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But my heart is over here.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really doing my own thing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And it is time for me to line up with the word.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's time for me to say, God, I need you to renew my heart.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I want you to put in my heart that I want to make this agreement, this covenant with you, that I am going to put you first and I'm going to get things in order and I'm going to give you
-
[SPEAKER_01]: get things cleaned up.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: God, I want to do it your way.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to have revival.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So he got his heart rate.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The heart of the issue is the issue of the heart.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, it's right here.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what God's looking at.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He's not looking at the outward parents.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't care what gender you are, what how big you are, how tall you are, how much money in you got in your account.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't worry about your color.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't worry if you're a teenager, if you're 90 years old, God doesn't care.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He's looking at one thing, the very heart, the spirit of man, that is governing him.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what God's looking at has a guy.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why he was called a king like no other king.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's because his heart was getting things in order with the Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So what he does is he begins to restore things.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: over in verse 20 of this chapter, Hezekiah, the king, rose early, gathered to rulers of the city, went up to the house of Lord, and they brought seven Bullock, seven ram, seven lambs, seven goes, seven men's quite a few times, ain't?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Number seven is a number of.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Perfection, right?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So that number of perfection, getting things just right.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So this is for sin offering for the kingdom and for the sanctuary and for Judah.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Remember that's the whole region that we're dealing with the southern tribes.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And he commanded the priests, the sons of Aaron, to offer them on the altar of the Lord, verse 22.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So they killed the bulllocks.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The priests received the blood, sprinkled it on the altar, and likewise, when they had killed the Rams, they sprinkled the blood upon the altar.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They killed also the Rams, and they sprinkled the blood upon the altar.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: This is a sacrifice of atonement.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: you can actually read in Leviticus chapter 1 and verse 5 that the priests were commanded to do this.
Leviticus 1 chapter mention
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I got to walk, cramp it up here.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So they would have these basins and these basins they would take the blood of the animals and they would place that blood inside and you say this is really gross.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Why are you talking about this on a sunny morning because this is
-
[SPEAKER_01]: and then they took the blood and they would take it to the altar and they would begin to sprinkle it on there and you say, why in the world would they do that?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's because God told them to.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You say, I don't understand it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, my friend, there's going to be a lot of things that God tells us that we don't fully understand, maybe right now.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But through time, you're going to see in the Scriptures the importance of the blood.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And this blood needed to be spilled.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You say, wait a minute, all these animals.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I saw just 100s and 100s of volaux.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Everything that was being destroyed.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You're telling me they had what the does poor animals do.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Where were the animal rights activists?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So why is it right?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: These poor innocent animals.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They're just killing them.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They're just grazing one morning.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And then they're dead.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: This is God's creation.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You say, well, they didn't do anything.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They were innocent, that's right.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And why did they take the blood?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Why did they take that in sprinkling?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Because this is God's way.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: From Genesis chapter 3 to the very cross of Jesus Christ, as John the Baptist said, behold, the Lamb of God, which take up a way the sin of the world.
Genesis 3 chapter mention
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It is the blood of Jesus Christ that's being symbolized here.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It is about atonement.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And this blood, as it was sprinkled, the God in heaven is looking and saying, the blood purifies, cleanses as part of the cleansing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And it was cleansing, as you remember, it said, for the sin of the people.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The blood cleanses the sin of the people.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus Christ's blood was shed nearly 2,000 years ago on the cross for the sin of the world.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Behold the Lamb of God, which take it the way, the sin of the world.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: First John chapter two, he is a perpetuation for our sins and not for our only, but for the sins of the whole world.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You say, yet me and I'm automatically in, we're going to see that.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Not today, Lord willing, next week, because what you're going to see is another supreme sacrifice that had to be done, it was called the Passover.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And listen, I'm going to give you this point for next week.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: What he did was he encouraged the north that was still intact to come down to the Passover and they laughed at it, they mocked it, and they wouldn't come.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The atonement was there, but folks, you have to believe for it to be applied to your life.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: See, Jesus Christ died for your sin.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: When He died in the cross, 2000 years ago, He had you in mind, you could put your name there.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus died for and put your name there.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He died for you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But the question is, will you by faith say, I do believe that Jesus died and His blood will shed for my sin to cleanse me from my sin?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So sure enough, they sprinkled the blood.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Look over at verse 23.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: and they brought forth the he goes for the sin offering before the king and the congregation and they laid their hands upon them the priest and the priest killed them and made reconciliation with their blood that's a blood of the animals upon the order to make an atomine for all Israel.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So the word reconcile means that at that point God and man didn't have a good relationship because of sin, sin like broken.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so the blood of the animals brought back a proper relationship between God and man or Israel in this case once again.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what Jesus Christ has done for you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He has died on the cross that his blood was shed for you to reconcile you, to bring you back to a proper relationship with God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And by the way, second Corinthians five, he has given to you and I the ministry Christians of reconciliation, the word of reconciliation.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what we're supposed to be doing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Getting that bridge between God and man and it is done through Christ and His blood that was shed for us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So, you say everything's in order then, right?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so far, we have the leadership, the cleansing of the temple, we have the harsh prepared to do right, the proper offerings are now in place what's next worship.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You probably been maybe to a church that when you walk in, it's almost like they're trying to stimulate this worship.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And they get the bands going, they get the music going, and it's like, okay, let's get rock and roll here.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's going, a good direction here, and all of a sudden I'm starting to feel it, and then they do the seven to 11 songs.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They sing seven words 11 times over and over again, and you're trying to feel it, and all of a sudden it's like, you might get it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You may not, but in the scriptures,
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You'll see over and over again, God actually shows us how to worship.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And here it is, they got things in order.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The blood was there, and now, all of a sudden, they can worship.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Look at verse, verses, verse 27, hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, I got to show you this just for theologians.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: In the last part of verse 31, you'll see they came with a free heart and with the burnt offerings, the burnt offering is that which represents the body.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We already discovered the blood that was sprinkled upon the alchars and the bodies here were taken and the burnt offering, they took the lamb and they can totally consume the body.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The whole thing was burned up and that's a picture of Jesus Christ giving his all, his whole body to be burned up for us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That was a very first thing that was done right inside the brazen altar and it would take the, and so you have the body.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: and you have the blood, and we have communion folks right there.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So now all of a sudden he says, okay, it's all done, drop down to verse 28, all the congregation worshiped.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: This is everybody, not just a leadership, everybody comes, and the singers are singing, we got a choir going.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We got trumpeters there over here, they're sounding out, and they were to do this over and over again until the burn offering was completed.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: worshiping through the whole time period of the concept of Christ dying on the cross, giving his all on the cross.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And this, you say, how can they worship when something is dying?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: See, that's a whole thing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We, as Christians, glory in the cross.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We understand why he did it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And we sing songs like, what can wash away my sin?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: What can make me whole again?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And then we break forth into worship as a result of that.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what's happening here.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So they're singing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Verse 29, when they have made an end to be offering the king and all the present with him, bowed themselves in worship, and the last part of verse 30, they say the same thing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They bowed their heads and they worship.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You say, what were they doing?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Look at verse 30, more over Hezekiah, the king and the princes commanded the Levites.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: To sing praise is unto the Lord, with the words of David.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what the words of David is?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The Psalms.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They were taking Psalms,
-
[SPEAKER_01]: and giving back to God the very words that he inspired David to write down.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what Psalms they were, it is not recorded.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But these Psalms of worship, no doubt as many of the Psalms were created to say God, you are our Creator.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You are majestic.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You are at the all-powerful God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There is no other God on this earth like unto thee.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Man has created these.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There is no God to can never be compared to you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You are holy, holy, holy.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Quires prepared us for this today, and they didn't even know it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: began to worship.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Heads of Kaya answered verse 31.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Now have you consecrated yourselves unto the Lord, come near, bring sacrifices.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Now notice this, thank offerings unto the house of the Lord and the congregation brought the boy today bring.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They brought in sacrifices and they brought in all
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Birch offerings.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You say what happened here?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: What's the word free heart?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It has to do with the word liberal or abundance has to word no billet noble in it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So has to do with the heart that's a key it was willing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So it was a noble willing heart that didn't care what it costs them.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They care less.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We just want to bring it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And we want to bring it and bring it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They brought so much that the priests that were supposed to do it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: couldn't keep up with it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They actually had to bring the Levites in, who are actually, it says, better in their hearts than the priestware.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So the Levites come in to help take care of the sacrifices of the people.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There was so much.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It was almost like these people were so overwhelmed with the Thanksgiving of what God has done in reconciling them, bringing them back to a proper relationship.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They said, we want to give, and we want to give some more.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We want to show God how much we love Him, and we're not worried about the cost of it all.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what true worship is all about, what you've seen it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Worship comes because, now there's worship doesn't just get stimulated within our body.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I feel good, I got chills going up and down my spine.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You may be confusing that with something else.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's not what worship is.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Worship is here, reckoning in our mind, something about God, the God just forgave me.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: God just took me from over there and has brought me right back into the fold again.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And we become overwhelmed with how good God is, and we begin to worship Him.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And we begin to thank Him.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll ask you a question.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: In your daily devotions, do you remember to thank God?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And in your thanksgiving, yeah, this isn't November I know.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But in your thanksgiving, what are you thinking God about?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for this house.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for my job.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Those are good things.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for all the provisions.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I do the same thing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But Christians, when was the last time you and I?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: When I'm having my devotions, became overwhelmed with salvation.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: with the atonement, the Christ gave for us their salvation and thanking for the blood and the body.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Eucharist is the Greek word, it literally is Thanksgiving and that's why we use the Holy Eucharist many would use that term in regards to communion.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And what they are saying is that Greek word, thank you, God, for the body and the blood of Christ.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, if you haven't been saved yet, that's really foreign to you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But if you say, Lord, I do believe your blood was shed for me.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Your body was broken for me.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to invite you into my heart to save me because of my sin.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's why you did it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He'll save you and it'll give you a brand new life.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And then comes joy.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: the worship is finally restored.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The thanksgiving, the heart is giving thanks.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There is now humility, there is liberality in genuineness in their gifts that they are giving to the Lord and they're finally happiness again.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Whenever we get things in order in our lives as Christians, it is going to generate joy.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't say it was going to fix your cancer.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't say I was going to fix your back problems.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, folks, honestly, I've worshiped going through this year.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I couldn't wait to preach to this part.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I got this ready like three or four weeks ago.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I couldn't wait for today, because I wanted to share with you the things that I was learning in my basement around my desk.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: This is like, what God did for Carl?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And he did it for you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And all the sudden that brings this joy is like, Lord, you're awesome to do this for me.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not long that your mind is wandering and thinking and thanking the Lord for what he has done.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So everything finally is getting in order.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why he closes in verse 35.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The priest also, excuse me, verse 35.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And also, the burnt offerings were in abundance.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The fat,
-
[SPEAKER_01]: of the peace offerings.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Notice the word peace.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The drink offerings and they will pour that before the Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The burnt offering we've already explained where the whole animal was consumed.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So, here's the conclusion.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The service of the house of the Lord was set in order.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There is not one part of this that could have been left undone for him to say that everything now was in order without the blood, without the body, without the sacrifices, without the order of the priests, without all these things.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Plot your home.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: When we agree with God with Ephesians 5, by the way, I would encourage husbands and wives if you are not familiar with that text, go home and read Ephesians 5.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Colossians 3, 1st Peter 3, the lift goes on, but Ephesians 5 really lays it out in order God created order in your home.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And when you do it that way, you're gonna be blessed.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You do it the wrong way, you're going to get me chaos, children, fees in chapter 6.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He lays it in order.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: If you just do that, there's going to be order and there's going to be peace standing in your home.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Talk to parents and kids.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, once or twice, don't do as much past or eight, take care of the heavy work nowadays.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, when I used to do it a lot more, I'd sit and I'd talk to kids and I'd say, okay, let me ask you a question, is your home happy, is your home happy, is your home happy?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: No.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, why is it not happy?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: At a station.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, if they wouldn't make me do all these things, I said, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, why is it not happy?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Why isn't it blessed?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you wanna sit around the table, you wanna eat and talk about the day and everything new, why?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It usually gets back to when they're always making these rules up.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Things that I don't want to do.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They I can't be with this friend and they don't even know them.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And they don't understand.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, well, well, well, this mom and dad love you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Did they want what's best for you?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they order the new.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a lot of order the me.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you think they know a little bit more.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they went through what you're going through and remember and you're trying to protect you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they just don't want me to have fun.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, they don't want you to have fun.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So is it fun when you're arrested?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Is it fun when you get busted for drugs?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Is it fun when you get pregnant out of wedlock?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Is it fun because you're sleeping with all these people and you get diseases?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So this is fun.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think so.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I guess what the devil is trying to think, make you think that you're having fun.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't have fun.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Fun comes from obedience.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's when the blessings come.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's when the blessings, joys come.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So all of a sudden, if you actually do your homework, take out the trash.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Clean the room, do all those really nasty jobs at all kids and teenagers have to do.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And everything's in order, probably you're going to build the trust and they're going to give you some more freedoms.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They could trust you, you're trying to do the right thing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And all of a sudden, there's this working together for a cause.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And they won't have to bring the nasties in if you do the right thing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, that's the same as us older teenagers too.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: With God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We fight God on things, we're just like a teenager who doesn't want to do it, I don't want to do that.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, our thing's happy?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: No.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You think if you did what God wants you to do because he knows what's best because he's older and wiser, then you are.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, booze.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: talk people, they get mad at me, I'm telling you, they get mad at me.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The first thing that I say, okay, they have Mary's problems, okay?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: First question, you've been in this church, your Christians, right?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, are you reading a Bible?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: No.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Have you been praying?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, praying, they just see it my way.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I asked a wrong prayer, my friend.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Have you asked God for him to show you what you're doing wrong?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: What you might need to change?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: No.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, you've been in church the way you should be?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: No.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not that hard, if we just do it God's way, joy, worship, we get together, everything's good.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There was a preacher years ago he said, organization that is your problem.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I never forgot that message because it taught us get things in order.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so I pass it on to you today.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's get things in order.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Just do it the right way.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not always easiest.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not always the most pleasurable, but long-term, you're going to be really happy you did, okay?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Lord, we thank you for the day.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Bless it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for your word.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for the attention of the folks today.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I pray that Lord, if there are, again, any here that do not know Christ is their Savior, that today will be the day of salvation for them.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Use your word in this way.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Holy Spirit, do the job.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Lord, for Christians that are here, things are just chaos at home at work all around.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: May each Christian evaluate their own lives to see where they are at.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I pray that you'll work and you will help us to set things in order in Jesus' name, amen.
