  1. [SPEAKER_00]: Got a couple questions for you.

  2. [SPEAKER_00]: So first question is this.

  3. [SPEAKER_00]: We've got a bunch of teachers in here.

  4. [SPEAKER_00]: So how many of you have ever taught a class on the subject of apostasy?

  5. [SPEAKER_00]: Got one, two?

  6. [SPEAKER_00]: OK. That's not a popular one.

  7. [SPEAKER_00]: Is it seemed like how many of you here have heard an entire message on the subject of apostasy?

  8. [SPEAKER_00]: One, two, three.

  9. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, you were teaching us so you were obviously there.

  10. [SPEAKER_00]: So, we're going to talk about this tonight, and my goal was to complete it tonight.

  11. [SPEAKER_00]: And I think we can, where we're going to have three texts that we're going to go to.

  12. [SPEAKER_00]: First, John chapter two is where we're at first of all.

  13. [SPEAKER_00]: So, as you're turning there, I'm gonna wait to you there because I don't want you to miss this part.

  14. [SPEAKER_00]: So, first John chapter two, we'll go ahead and read those verses.

  15. [SPEAKER_00]: First John and chapter number two, we're gonna read verse 19 and 20.

  16. [SPEAKER_00]: They went out from us, but they were not of us.

  17. [SPEAKER_00]: They've been of us.

  18. [SPEAKER_00]: They would no doubt have continued with us, but they italicize, no Greek word there, but they went out to re-emphasize that they have exited, and that's what the word is.

  19. [SPEAKER_00]: They went out or out of like exodus is part of that Greek word.

  20. [SPEAKER_00]: They went out that they might be made manifest that they were not of us.

  21. [SPEAKER_00]: Now verse 20, but ye, or you, the church, have an anction or an anointing from the holy one and you know all things.

  22. [SPEAKER_00]: Help us Lord as we look at your word, use it for your glory.

  23. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, thank you for what you'll do and Jesus name amen.

  24. [SPEAKER_00]: So,

  25. [SPEAKER_00]: Here's a word that we probably don't use a lot apostasy or an apostate as an individual is called.

  26. [SPEAKER_00]: And so it gets really, really confusing in some of the people, the individuals I've heard use it because I'm sitting and listening to them and I'm like, who are you talking about exactly?

  27. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you talking about a lost person?

  28. [SPEAKER_00]: Or are you talking about a Christian?

  29. [SPEAKER_00]: So now we have to have that defined.

  30. [SPEAKER_00]: So, biblically, you'll not see a Christian, true born again, Christian, apostasy, or go apostate.

  31. [SPEAKER_00]: This is something that happens to those who were in church.

  32. [SPEAKER_00]: They were part of it.

  33. [SPEAKER_00]: And that, as I says here, they depart from Jesus.

  34. [SPEAKER_00]: So you have to have in your mind we're not talking about Christians.

  35. [SPEAKER_00]: We're not, the apostasy is not, hey, I heard a Christian committed a really bad sin, they must be in apostate.

  36. [SPEAKER_00]: Nope, that's not an apostasy.

  37. [SPEAKER_00]: Apostasy, and you'll see it in the book of Hebrews, literally takes Jesus Christ in his dough, they're spitting on him and they are glad that he died.

  38. [SPEAKER_00]: They literally leave us the doctrines, everything, and say, y'all are idiots.

  39. [SPEAKER_00]: Matter of fact, later on, in first John, you're gonna see this principle how they don't want to be with you.

  40. [SPEAKER_00]: They don't even like you.

  41. [SPEAKER_00]: And so there's something about people that were in church, it's like, I don't like church, there's a bunch of hypocrites.

  42. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to be a, and there's nothing in their hearts.

  43. [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to clarify, first of all, that Christians aren't apostates.

  44. [SPEAKER_00]: Those who are going to church for all of the wrong reasons, and then eventually, if they can't indoctrinate you, if they can't change you,

  45. [SPEAKER_00]: If they can't get their message or their purpose of being in the church accomplished, they leave, they're gone.

  46. [SPEAKER_00]: I had left one church to go to another church.

  47. [SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't departing from Christ.

  48. [SPEAKER_00]: I was leaving the church that I didn't line up with.

  49. [SPEAKER_00]: to go to another church because I lined up more with it.

  50. [SPEAKER_00]: That's not what we're talking about.

  51. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's people left the church, they're a posse.

  52. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't say that.

  53. [SPEAKER_00]: So don't put more than a mile tonight, okay?

  54. [SPEAKER_00]: Keep on point because this is a really important subject.

  55. [SPEAKER_00]: The reason I say that my wife, she's like, oh, what was going to happen?

  56. [SPEAKER_00]: I said, apostasy goes, well, that's relevant for the day.

  57. [SPEAKER_00]: And she said, I have nine people that I pray for on a daily basis who we fear are apostates.

  58. [SPEAKER_00]: They were in this church, okay?

  59. [SPEAKER_00]: They were in our youth group.

  60. [SPEAKER_00]: They said in your youth set beside some of them.

  61. [SPEAKER_00]: Some of them were in other churches that we were part of.

  62. [SPEAKER_00]: And when I say they're gone, they're gone.

  63. [SPEAKER_00]: To a point where they hate you, they hate our flag off times.

  64. [SPEAKER_00]: They hate anything that is conservativeism.

  65. [SPEAKER_00]: Because anything that Christ brings up is pure.

  66. [SPEAKER_00]: It's right.

  67. [SPEAKER_00]: legalism in the proper way of looking at legalism, laws that Christ has given His commandments, that we are to keep.

  68. [SPEAKER_00]: And so, not let's dig in.

  69. [SPEAKER_00]: So, in this verse that we saw, he says, they went out.

  70. [SPEAKER_00]: I want you to notice verse number 20, but you.

  71. [SPEAKER_00]: Remember how I've been teaching you God constantly teaches by contrast,

  72. [SPEAKER_00]: Guess what he's doing again?

  73. [SPEAKER_00]: Same thing, they versus you.

  74. [SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, if you look at other portions of the Scripture, he'll use the same thing, they versus us, the true church.

  75. [SPEAKER_00]: So they, who are not really part of the true church, are the ones that, in the previous text, deals with many anti-Christ's.

  76. [SPEAKER_00]: Can I use another word that I've never used before that might help us in our culture?

  77. [SPEAKER_00]: Anti-Jesus.

  78. [SPEAKER_00]: anti-Christ, kind of like, yeah, Messiah, no, they hate Jesus, they're anti-Jesus, but yet they're in churches.

  79. [SPEAKER_00]: They're in churches.

  80. [SPEAKER_00]: When you look at a post, they church, they once held onto the doctrines, but then eventually they drift away from the pure doctrines of Jesus Christ.

  81. [SPEAKER_00]: And now they hold on to their own Jesus, their own beliefs.

  82. [SPEAKER_00]: So we have apostate churches when you look at the seven churches of the revelation, some of the things that they were holding on to and they believed in they taught were anti-Jesus.

  83. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's why Jesus said, you keep it up.

  84. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to snuff your light out and he did.

  85. [SPEAKER_00]: So got your attention.

  86. [SPEAKER_00]: Good.

  87. [SPEAKER_00]: So, they've departed.

  88. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, several commentators I was walking through, they all emphasized this one thing.

  89. [SPEAKER_00]: They were in your church.

  90. [SPEAKER_00]: They're not out there picking one of the church.

  91. [SPEAKER_00]: They're within the congregation.

  92. [SPEAKER_00]: Now it's really scary, isn't it?

  93. [SPEAKER_00]: Now everybody can be like, I wonder, I wonder, I wonder, but that's not your job.

  94. [SPEAKER_00]: Matter of fact, Laurie and I know the people she prays for.

  95. [SPEAKER_00]: We're not saying that they're apostate, but they're showing all the signs of it.

  96. [SPEAKER_00]: Only God knows if they're apostate.

  97. [SPEAKER_00]: I can't tell you whether they are or not.

  98. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe they'll come back to God.

  99. [SPEAKER_00]: And then they weren't apostate, or maybe they'll get saved.

  100. [SPEAKER_00]: So we have to be careful that we don't get into the judging business here.

  101. [SPEAKER_00]: Let God be God, realize you're not God.

  102. [SPEAKER_00]: You're not God.

  103. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not God.

  104. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

  105. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, let's go to another Porsche Scripture we've developed before, and we'll see it again.

  106. [SPEAKER_00]: Look with me to second at Thessalonians, and this is not a exhaustive study on it, but this is gonna give you what I feel is the big picture of the subject.

  107. [SPEAKER_00]: So second, Thessalonians, and we've gone through this numerous times in our church.

  108. [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't have to park one everything.

  109. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to be highlighting these verses starting in verse one.

  110. [SPEAKER_00]: So second, Thessalonians 2-1.

  111. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, we'll be seated, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him.

  112. [SPEAKER_00]: I wonder who He's talking to.

  113. [SPEAKER_00]: Who's the hour?

  114. [SPEAKER_00]: He's talking to the church.

  115. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you seeing how you develop the words so you keep on point who is God talking to?

  116. [SPEAKER_00]: But you, and that you be not soon shaken in mind or be troubled, neither by spirit nor by word, nor by letter from us, that that day of Christ is at hand.

  117. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's like, there were people coming into the church teaching, sorry, you missed the rapture already.

  118. [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, the day of the Lord, the judgment of Christ is going to be coming.

  119. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they had eschatology, so messed up.

  120. [SPEAKER_00]: Everybody was confused.

  121. [SPEAKER_00]: So he's like, I caught you this stuff when I was there.

  122. [SPEAKER_00]: Remember?

  123. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

  124. [SPEAKER_00]: So notice this verse 3.

  125. [SPEAKER_00]: Let no man deceive you by any means.

  126. [SPEAKER_00]: Hmm.

  127. [SPEAKER_00]: Deceivers.

  128. [SPEAKER_00]: were in the church spreading these false doctrines.

  129. [SPEAKER_00]: Why to confuse the people and that they would no longer follow Paul?

  130. [SPEAKER_00]: But they will follow them instead.

  131. [SPEAKER_00]: I would believe Paul first.

  132. [SPEAKER_00]: OK.

  133. [SPEAKER_00]: For that day, shall not come except there come a, here's your word, falling away first, literally apostasy.

  134. [SPEAKER_00]: The word we're talking about tonight.

  135. [SPEAKER_00]: So first, there's going to be an apostasy and then that man of sin, guess who that is.

  136. [SPEAKER_00]: The Antichrist, what do we just have a study on?

  137. [SPEAKER_00]: The Antichrist.

  138. [SPEAKER_00]: So now you see how this is all blending.

  139. [SPEAKER_00]: So the anti-Christ who was going to be coming on the scene will be revealed after we the church are out of here.

  140. [SPEAKER_00]: So, let me finish up.

  141. [SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be revealed the Son of Tradition.

  142. [SPEAKER_00]: This is the Antichrist, or the word sin there, is the lawless one, verse four.

  143. [SPEAKER_00]: Key, the Antichrist, opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worship, so that he, as God, sits in the temple of God, showing himself to be that he is God.

  144. [SPEAKER_00]: When's that going to happen?

  145. [SPEAKER_00]: Middle attribulation, good job.

  146. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you in an amazing, how all these verses are now blending together?

  147. [SPEAKER_00]: Good, remember you not that when I was yet with you, I told you these things.

  148. [SPEAKER_00]: So sometimes preachers can say, I told you, parents do that all the time, right?

  149. [SPEAKER_00]: I told you that was when I happened.

  150. [SPEAKER_00]: Wives?

  151. [SPEAKER_00]: How many times have you told your husband, I told you slow down or the cop-up bear?

  152. [SPEAKER_00]: And then you get the ticket, never, right?

  153. [SPEAKER_00]: OK, I told you.

  154. [SPEAKER_00]: And now you know that with holes or restrains that he might be revealed in his time.

  155. [SPEAKER_00]: So these two verses are showing you a chronological order of something.

  156. [SPEAKER_00]: Right now, there's something that is holding back this anti-christ.

  157. [SPEAKER_00]: the mystery of an equity verse 7, that's already work.

  158. [SPEAKER_00]: That's where the Satan through the Antichrist and that principle of who he is, is already working in this world.

  159. [SPEAKER_00]: Only, now listen, he who now let it will let

  160. [SPEAKER_00]: Until he be taken out of the way that word let goes back to the one who is restraining, I believe, and most who studied this out believe, those who words are together, there's somebody that's in the way of the Antichrist.

  161. [SPEAKER_00]: Guess who it is?

  162. [SPEAKER_00]: You and I, we're restraining, we're holding back.

  163. [SPEAKER_00]: But when we the church are taken out of the way, that's when he's going to be revealed.

  164. [SPEAKER_00]: And then after we are taken out of the way, now notice verse eight.

  165. [SPEAKER_00]: So after we're taken out of the way, the restrainers are out of the way.

  166. [SPEAKER_00]: Verse eight, then the shall that wicked be revealed.

  167. [SPEAKER_00]: So, I've had some good, good intentional people say, I really believe the last days of the church aid before the rapture are gonna be noticed because an incredible, evangelistic thrust around the world and tons of people are gonna get saved and that's when the rapture's gonna happen.

  168. [SPEAKER_00]: And I always say, where is that in the Bible?

  169. [SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, where they go to, they go to the revelation when they get into the tribulation time period.

  170. [SPEAKER_00]: The gospel is going to be free from the world, the angel and all that.

  171. [SPEAKER_00]: And they go to that, thinking it's going to be the church age.

  172. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, let me teach you tonight just the opposite, seems to be.

  173. [SPEAKER_00]: The big highlight in this text is that there's going to be people departing from the true body of Christ.

  174. [SPEAKER_00]: It's actually the opposite.

  175. [SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be less Christian, less in the church.

  176. [SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be a negative thing happening in this world.

  177. [SPEAKER_00]: Because they're going to be following the antichrist.

  178. [SPEAKER_00]: And they're going to hook lines think or when he comes on the scene.

  179. [SPEAKER_00]: There, see, we told you, this is who we needed.

  180. [SPEAKER_00]: This is who we've been waiting for.

  181. [SPEAKER_00]: And so that gives you a bit of understanding there.

  182. [SPEAKER_00]: Now let's go to the book of Hebrews.

  183. [SPEAKER_00]: an understanding of how not only we should see but how God sees those who depart from his assembly, not that we save.

  184. [SPEAKER_00]: but the church, the cold out ones, are called out from the world.

  185. [SPEAKER_00]: And these people, it says though, they're being called out of the church into the world.

  186. [SPEAKER_00]: You see in that, they're leaving us.

  187. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, I am gonna highlight this really quick while you're going to Hebrew six.

  188. [SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't say you're going to Hebrew six.

  189. [SPEAKER_00]: I probably forgot to tell you that, didn't I?

  190. [SPEAKER_00]: Did I tell you Hebrews?

  191. [SPEAKER_00]: Good.

  192. [SPEAKER_00]: That was half right.

  193. [SPEAKER_00]: So you'll notice all of these texts.

  194. [SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't say the church excommunicated them.

  195. [SPEAKER_00]: They left because they weren't getting their way.

  196. [SPEAKER_00]: Their doctrines weren't being held on to.

  197. [SPEAKER_00]: So they leave.

  198. [SPEAKER_00]: Now there is times of church discipline.

  199. [SPEAKER_00]: Where, hey, you're in deep sin, you won't repent.

  200. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, we've had to do that at our discharge.

  201. [SPEAKER_00]: We've done it at other churches, and so there's times when a person is part of the body of Christ, they claim to be Christian, they're part of it, and so it had to be a church discipline.

  202. [SPEAKER_00]: We're not talking about that.

  203. [SPEAKER_00]: This is the opposite.

  204. [SPEAKER_00]: They leave the church intentionally.

  205. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay?

  206. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, let's see it in chapter 6, starting of verse 4.

  207. [SPEAKER_00]: It is impossible for those who were once in lightened.

  208. [SPEAKER_00]: Number two, have tasted the heavenly gift and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the world to come.

  209. [SPEAKER_00]: Wow, that's a mouthful, isn't it?

  210. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, let's think about one person in the Bible.

  211. [SPEAKER_00]: Judas is scary it.

  212. [SPEAKER_00]: Judas was part of the gang, wasn't he?

  213. [SPEAKER_00]: Numbered what the 12th.

  214. [SPEAKER_00]: He would have been part of the group that went out two by two.

  215. [SPEAKER_00]: Casting out demons.

  216. [SPEAKER_00]: All these powerful things that God was doing.

  217. [SPEAKER_00]: He listened to the powerful words of Christ.

  218. [SPEAKER_00]: He saw people resurrected, killed, everything.

  219. [SPEAKER_00]: He tasted it.

  220. [SPEAKER_00]: He was right there.

  221. [SPEAKER_00]: He could never deny that yet it happened.

  222. [SPEAKER_00]: But we know the tale end that this man was never truly a pure believer in Jesus Christ.

  223. [SPEAKER_00]: The guy that's taking care of the money, the one that rebukes the woman, hey, you could have sold that, ointment for money, and we could have given it to the poor.

  224. [SPEAKER_00]: Like he was really caring about the poor, I think.

  225. [SPEAKER_00]: And so when he saw the Jesus Christ was condemned, it said he went and he hung himself and killed himself.

  226. [SPEAKER_00]: Suicide, the mind was tortured,

  227. [SPEAKER_00]: Acts chapter 1 tells us that he was lost.

    Acts 1 chapter mention

  228. [SPEAKER_00]: Somebody need to take his place.

  229. [SPEAKER_00]: There was no hope for this man.

  230. [SPEAKER_00]: Jesus said, it will be better.

  231. [SPEAKER_00]: You weren't even born, buddy.

  232. [SPEAKER_00]: Now have you understanding what it means to go to church?

  233. [SPEAKER_00]: Hey, man, we didn't, we have an awesome service.

  234. [SPEAKER_00]: Wouldn't the group really go, wouldn't the band awesome?

  235. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, you know, they're right there with you.

  236. [SPEAKER_00]: And then they go to Culver's after church with you.

  237. [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry.

  238. [SPEAKER_00]: They blend right in.

  239. [SPEAKER_00]: You would never ever suspect what's going on up here.

  240. [SPEAKER_00]: and they have an agenda.

  241. [SPEAKER_00]: I go to call for two, I'm not picking on call for people, okay, don't, don't stone me, or throw a waste.

  242. [SPEAKER_00]: No, you can throw a ice cream, I think, I'll be okay with that.

  243. [SPEAKER_00]: Where, what's that?

  244. [SPEAKER_00]: You're going to win these instead of, oh, you guys go Wednesday nights too.

  245. [SPEAKER_00]: I've never been, Lori, have we ever been invited to call for that for Wednesday night service?

  246. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm so hurt.

  247. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so now you got this sense of taste, partakers, now verse 6, if they fall away, conditional, they depart, they fall away, it is a choice, it is a will of mankind again to do this.

  248. [SPEAKER_00]: It is, if they fall away, now notice us, to renew them again under repentance, seeing they crucified to themselves, the Son of God of fresh, and put him to an open shame.

  249. [SPEAKER_00]: Once they have tasted it, and they've experienced this, if they fall away to renew them again,

  250. [SPEAKER_00]: is an impossibility.

  251. [SPEAKER_00]: That's the scariest part of it all.

  252. [SPEAKER_00]: Verse 4, it is impossible.

  253. [SPEAKER_00]: The impossibility is verse number six.

  254. [SPEAKER_00]: If they do fall away to renew them again to repentance, that's the thought.

  255. [SPEAKER_00]: really scary.

  256. [SPEAKER_00]: Some would say, well, this will be teaching, make it lose their salvation.

  257. [SPEAKER_00]: OK, I propose to you this.

  258. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what we would hold to.

  259. [SPEAKER_00]: They were never saving the first place.

  260. [SPEAKER_00]: So there's others to say, well, this is one of those taxes.

  261. [SPEAKER_00]: So they lose their salvation.

  262. [SPEAKER_00]: They fall away.

  263. [SPEAKER_00]: If that's true, according to this text,

  264. [SPEAKER_00]: You can't get saved and I'm going to say it again and I'm going to say it again and I'm going to get saved again.

  265. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, God saying, if you are lost and you depart, you're done, lights out, impossible.

  266. [SPEAKER_00]: Why is it impossible?

  267. [SPEAKER_00]: Now let's let the text show us why this apostate isn't coming back to church.

  268. [SPEAKER_00]: What happened in this man or woman's brain?

  269. [SPEAKER_00]: What are they thinking about Jesus?

  270. [SPEAKER_00]: What do they think about the church?

  271. [SPEAKER_00]: How do they view what we are doing right now?

  272. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, let's tear into it.

  273. [SPEAKER_00]: Verse six again, if they fall away to renew them again unto repentance, repentance means what?

  274. [SPEAKER_00]: Wow, that was awesome.

  275. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't hear a word, but that I agree with everything

  276. [SPEAKER_00]: Turn, right?

  277. [SPEAKER_00]: Forgiveness, but it's a heart turning from sin to God.

  278. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

  279. [SPEAKER_00]: You can't take Jesus off the cross.

  280. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I think you guys are from one time.

  281. [SPEAKER_00]: That's true.

  282. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I'm following you.

  283. [SPEAKER_00]: So this person to change their mind from what they are believing to come back to Christ.

  284. [SPEAKER_00]: Now notice this phrase, seeing it is an open thing that we are witnessing them do.

  285. [SPEAKER_00]: They crucified to themselves, the Son of God, a fresh or a new

  286. [SPEAKER_00]: Then also, they put Jesus him to an open shame.

  287. [SPEAKER_00]: How are they viewing Jesus?

  288. [SPEAKER_00]: You see in it, this is their perception of who Jesus Christ is.

  289. [SPEAKER_00]: So allow me to say it this way.

  290. [SPEAKER_00]: If they deviate from the faith and turn away from their allegiance, it is impossible to bring them back to repentance

  291. [SPEAKER_00]: They nail upon the cross, the Son of God, a fresh, as far as they are concerned, and they're holding him up to contempt and shame and a public disgrace.

  292. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think I be wrong in saying it this way.

  293. [SPEAKER_00]: If they were living in the day, when Jesus Christ was tried,

  294. [SPEAKER_00]: And crucified, they will be applauding it.

  295. [SPEAKER_00]: They will be spitting in his face.

  296. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like die.

  297. [SPEAKER_00]: Die.

  298. [SPEAKER_00]: So it goes on and gives an analogy.

  299. [SPEAKER_00]: Verse 7 is a positive one.

  300. [SPEAKER_00]: It comes off upon it and brings forth herbs, meat for them, or something to eat, by them who it is dressed, receive blessings of God.

  301. [SPEAKER_00]: Yay, yes, that's a really good thing.

  302. [SPEAKER_00]: The thought is, rain comes down and good things grow.

  303. [SPEAKER_00]: Harvest time, herbs, fruit, whatever.

  304. [SPEAKER_00]: All this is a blessing that comes from God, right?

  305. [SPEAKER_00]: Think about this.

  306. [SPEAKER_00]: God brought forth fruit in this verse.

  307. [SPEAKER_00]: something that is positive, notice verse eight.

  308. [SPEAKER_00]: But that which bear a thorns and briars is what?

  309. [SPEAKER_00]: You see in it, the apostate brings forth the briars, the thorns, that's what they are producing, and is nigh unto cursing whose end is to be burned.

  310. [SPEAKER_00]: God is saying, okay, so let me ask you a question.

  311. [SPEAKER_00]: When God brought the curse on Adam, in Genesis chapter number three, what are some of the highlights of the curse for Adam?

  312. [SPEAKER_00]: Like?

  313. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that work, right?

  314. [SPEAKER_00]: There it is.

  315. [SPEAKER_00]: So what are the brow?

  316. [SPEAKER_00]: And then God says, thorns,

  317. [SPEAKER_00]: are going to be growing now.

  318. [SPEAKER_00]: See, thorns here is part of the curse.

  319. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's saying, what, as that rain comes down, in their heart, it's not fruit, this being produced.

  320. [SPEAKER_00]: It's sin.

  321. [SPEAKER_00]: It's the thorns.

  322. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a curse.

  323. [SPEAKER_00]: And what do you do with a limb that's filled with great, big, long thorns on it?

  324. [SPEAKER_00]: You're going to hang that up in your house?

  325. [SPEAKER_00]: You're gonna burn it.

  326. [SPEAKER_00]: So he's saying, in Hebrews, there is a hell, and that's where they're going.

  327. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's impossible to restore them back, they're gone.

  328. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, gotta see, first nine.

  329. [SPEAKER_00]: He does the same thing that first John does.

  330. [SPEAKER_00]: I love it.

  331. [SPEAKER_00]: Look at first nine.

  332. [SPEAKER_00]: But beloved.

  333. [SPEAKER_00]: I love it.

  334. [SPEAKER_00]: But beloved.

  335. [SPEAKER_00]: In other words, he's coming back to the church.

  336. [SPEAKER_00]: We're persuaded better things of you.

  337. [SPEAKER_00]: Things that accompany salvation through the, though we thus speak that God is not enrighteous to forget your work and labor of love.

  338. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what's being produced.

  339. [SPEAKER_00]: So he's coming to church after he beats him up and says, listen, there's going to be apostates among you.

  340. [SPEAKER_00]: They've been narrated, been tasting everything.

  341. [SPEAKER_00]: They're gone, they're cursing God.

  342. [SPEAKER_00]: They're going against Jesus.

  343. [SPEAKER_00]: They're anti-Christ, they're anti-Jesus.

  344. [SPEAKER_00]: They've been teaching wrong things.

  345. [SPEAKER_00]: They departed, and they're gone.

  346. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, they're the thorns, and they're going to burn and go to hell.

  347. [SPEAKER_00]: But you, on the other hand, boy, you're labor of love.

  348. [SPEAKER_00]: You, I, you love Jesus.

  349. [SPEAKER_00]: Why you love each other?

  350. [SPEAKER_00]: Man, there's the fruit.

  351. [SPEAKER_00]: Let a contrast between the lost world.

  352. [SPEAKER_00]: and the church.

  353. [SPEAKER_00]: Ladies and gentlemen, if you only knew how many times a week I have people call me bragging on you.

  354. [SPEAKER_00]: All ages, youth group, a wana, seniors, it's not just the baskets,

  355. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just not just a meal.

  356. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not just all they came and saw me at the hospital.

  357. [SPEAKER_00]: It's everything.

  358. [SPEAKER_00]: All the kids they came and raped the leaves.

  359. [SPEAKER_00]: All they came over and helped that day around the house.

  360. [SPEAKER_00]: And you all don't even know what happens.

  361. [SPEAKER_00]: It happens all the time.

  362. [SPEAKER_00]: It's because you love each other.

  363. [SPEAKER_00]: It's this fruit that is motivated because you love God and you believe God and you know you're gonna stand before him one day and when you think of the cross, you cry.

  364. [SPEAKER_00]: When you think of the cross, you're like, how unworthy am I that God would die for me and forgive me of my sin.

  365. [SPEAKER_00]: So that's how we view the cross.

  366. [SPEAKER_00]: Where they look at it as, there's one place as a trample under foot, the blood.

  367. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like whatever.

  368. [SPEAKER_00]: I will give you one example of a lady who was part of this youth group.

  369. [SPEAKER_00]: She has gone, she no longer goes the church.

  370. [SPEAKER_00]: She is married to another woman now.

  371. [SPEAKER_00]: She goes in front of churches.

  372. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe not doing it now, I don't know now, but some years ago, she will go in front of churches yelling at the churches with a gay flag.

  373. [SPEAKER_00]: as she was part of our church, Mr. She despises her parents who are part of ministry, missions.

  374. [SPEAKER_00]: and she hates them because they don't just say, well of course we love you and just agree with everything you're doing and God loves you too.

  375. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what she's waiting for.

  376. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like now there's right in wrong in this world and God made man and woman to reproduce, to have children, and here we are.

  377. [SPEAKER_00]: But they hate that.

  378. [SPEAKER_00]: They hate the church.

  379. [SPEAKER_00]: They protest you.

  380. [SPEAKER_00]: You could be there someday.

  381. [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, I've seen it too many times, they sat right over here all the time.

  382. [SPEAKER_00]: She came up and said, I think God is calling me to be a missionary in this building.

  383. [SPEAKER_00]: And now if I've reached out, she would probably not even talk to me because she opposes Jesus.

  384. [SPEAKER_00]: She is anti-Christ.

  385. [SPEAKER_00]: and teaches the opposite of scriptures.

  386. [SPEAKER_00]: All by the way, the new thing is, twisting Romans chapter one to say, God made us in its okay.

  387. [SPEAKER_00]: They're now using scripture to prove God approves of the lifestyle.

  388. [SPEAKER_00]: Generous thing, we were going through Peter.

  389. [SPEAKER_00]: He addressed that.

  390. [SPEAKER_00]: He says, interesting, how many people will twist scriptures and it says, even as they do the apostle Paul's writings, even some of Paul's writings, they'll take it, and they'll just,

  391. [SPEAKER_00]: Twisted so that the right and that God agrees with them and doesn't work at way folks.

  392. [SPEAKER_00]: We don't have that privilege, we do not have that authority.

  393. [SPEAKER_00]: God's right, we're not.

  394. [SPEAKER_00]: We have to line up what He says and go forward.

  395. [SPEAKER_00]: Questions or help me?

  396. [SPEAKER_00]: Comments.

  397. [SPEAKER_00]: I brought that up as a for instance.

  398. [SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't mean apostates all become homosexuals.

  399. [SPEAKER_00]: Never said that.

  400. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I mean, I have to reel us in and understand that's not what I'm teaching.

  401. [SPEAKER_00]: That was just a for instance.

  402. [SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know, and I would only pray that God will bring her back, because I don't know, but all I'm saying is everything I see here in Hebrews and in places, they're gone out from us.

  403. [SPEAKER_00]: and have nothing to do with us despise us.

  404. [SPEAKER_00]: You know why that despise you?

  405. [SPEAKER_00]: Because you're connected to Jesus.

  406. [SPEAKER_00]: They hated you, because they first hate Jesus.

  407. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's why we the body of Christ, especially as we see these days going further and further and further and further, young people, I love your little heart and I want you to know, it's not gonna get easier as Christians.

  408. [SPEAKER_00]: probably going to get a lot harder and you will be separated from the crowd if you're not doing what they're doing.

  409. [SPEAKER_00]: And so to stay true to the word, to stay true to Christ and love the Lord with all of your heart, everything is within you and be a light and you're going to win people to Christ.

  410. [SPEAKER_00]: I wrote down, and I wanted some, did anybody have any input?

  411. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, duh.

  412. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, sir, and that is definitely something that appeals to churches that hold to that doctrine because they become the chosen ones, the elect ones, and Israel is out, and they're the new Israel, and that's not biblical.

  413. [SPEAKER_00]: And so, I would say some of these churches that we would say are apostate churches would hold to that, that Israel doesn't even matter.

  414. [SPEAKER_00]: Kill them, Muslims, we don't care.

  415. [SPEAKER_00]: And so, yeah, I definitely could see that being a part but most of it has to do with, yeah, it's about, you know, Jesus died in all that, but the focal point is on just be a good person.

  416. [SPEAKER_00]: Just love everybody, we're all included, we're all God's family, that's apostasy, because just you often, I get to get an order of Michael.

  417. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and that's why I used Judas Iscariot.

  418. [SPEAKER_00]: He was very enlightened.

  419. [SPEAKER_00]: He saw resurrections, he saw all the miracles.

  420. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like it was there, but he,

  421. [SPEAKER_00]: never held on to it, never believed, and he departed and had Jesus killed.

  422. [SPEAKER_00]: Trump wanted to foot going against Messiah.

  423. [SPEAKER_00]: So what he's getting at is it's somebody that is part of the assembly, but they're not truly born again.

  424. [SPEAKER_00]: They're not true believers, but they're in amongst the church, and they have their own philosophies, and here what we're seeing is they're trying to indoctrinate people and then when they can't get their mission done, they depart.

  425. [SPEAKER_00]: And go elsewhere.

  426. [SPEAKER_00]: I have had people that I have gone soul-winning with.

  427. [SPEAKER_00]: I've gone to all night permittings with.

  428. [SPEAKER_00]: Daily and go church, they're done, it's like I have nothing to do with anything, just don't even talk to me about it.

  429. [SPEAKER_00]: No church to a Bible, no anything, and I not going doors with them.

  430. [SPEAKER_00]: You say, how could they do that?

  431. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

  432. [SPEAKER_00]: They tasted it, they were part of it, but it's almost like it never got into them.

  433. [SPEAKER_00]: It was never part of who they really were, and that's why they departed from it.

  434. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's what, first John gets into, had they been of us, they would have stayed with us.

  435. [SPEAKER_00]: But because while they were with us, they really weren't part of us, they departed from us.

  436. [SPEAKER_00]: And then you get into the second Thessalonians talking about this whole time period.

  437. [SPEAKER_00]: There will be an apostasy.

  438. [SPEAKER_00]: There will be more falling away, meaning they have to be here

  439. [SPEAKER_00]: to fall away from it.

  440. [SPEAKER_00]: They're part of it, but now they're gone from it.

  441. [SPEAKER_00]: You're saying you can't really tell if they're apostate, right?

  442. [SPEAKER_00]: That's right.

  443. [SPEAKER_00]: That was my point at the beginning.

  444. [SPEAKER_00]: We can't judge who isn't, who isn't.

  445. [SPEAKER_00]: That's why I mentioned I prayed this one young lady comes back to Christ.

  446. [SPEAKER_00]: I put pricey repents, Lori and I had a lady come to us six, eight years ago, kid went through church, Christian college, bunch of people know this Christian college and as soon as they're out, they're like coming out of the closet, you know, I don't do anything.

  447. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, here's what happened to this young lady, eight years later, we just found this out like three months ago, two months ago.

  448. [SPEAKER_00]: The relative here in our church came and said, guess what?

  449. [SPEAKER_00]: She started reading her Bible.

  450. [SPEAKER_00]: And while she's reading the Bible, she realized God disagrees with what I believe.

  451. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm wrong.

  452. [SPEAKER_00]: She repented there and called on the Lord and called her sisters that I got saved.

  453. [SPEAKER_00]: We don't know, Michael, you're absolutely, we don't know who this is God's department not ours.

  454. [SPEAKER_00]: So we don't give up on anybody, ever, ever.

  455. [SPEAKER_00]: Because I've had people that I thought, man, man, they're gone, and then they come back.

  456. [SPEAKER_00]: And I've had some people that were really, really, I thought that were on fire for the Lord, they're gone.

  457. [SPEAKER_00]: So I got out of the judge and business a long, long time ago about who saved and who's not.

  458. [SPEAKER_00]: I have no idea that's between you and God, not me.

  459. [SPEAKER_00]: I can't, I don't know your heart, only God knows it.

  460. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you love Jesus?

  461. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you love the body of Christ?

  462. [SPEAKER_00]: You see it?

  463. [SPEAKER_00]: But there are those, if they were here watching,

  464. [SPEAKER_00]: If they could spit on us, they would.

  465. [SPEAKER_00]: If they could rip the cross down up there, they would.

  466. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like, I've nothing to do.

  467. [SPEAKER_00]: They're anti-Jesus.

  468. [SPEAKER_00]: And so you'll see it on the media's.

  469. [SPEAKER_00]: So we'll put on a Christian note or whatever.

  470. [SPEAKER_00]: And then two comments later on, it's cusswords and going after those horrible Christians and they're just horrible people.

  471. [SPEAKER_00]: They attack you and by attacking you.

  472. [SPEAKER_00]: If you've done it under the lease of these, my brother and you have,

  473. [SPEAKER_00]: You see in it, it's a connection.

  474. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, sir, exactly until the end.

  475. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's the point.

  476. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's confirming the same thing.

  477. [SPEAKER_00]: You never give up on someone, because you might be dragging somebody from the fire, you bring it in.

  478. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like, you know, somebody saved by some or saved by fear?

  479. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, is the promise.

  480. [SPEAKER_00]: And then there's another reverse of that, too.

  481. [SPEAKER_00]: You never give up.

  482. [SPEAKER_00]: Trust me, there are mums and gremels in this room that have never given up on their family.

  483. [SPEAKER_00]: They have beg God prayed and that you never give up on them that they're going to come back to the Lord.

  484. [SPEAKER_00]: Usually when they get back to the Lord, they know, I'm going to go to church because this is where we belong.

  485. [SPEAKER_00]: This is the family of God.

  486. [SPEAKER_00]: And so there's a connection, even first John gets into that.

  487. [SPEAKER_00]: If you hate your brother, God says, you are a... You murdered them.

  488. [SPEAKER_00]: Ouch!

  489. [SPEAKER_00]: So all of this is in first John.

  490. [SPEAKER_00]: So this is just a beginning of it.

  491. [SPEAKER_00]: So we got a lot more to walk through in first John.

  492. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is why I wanted to go through.

  493. [SPEAKER_00]: So let me summarize and to never want to be confused or confusing.

  494. [SPEAKER_00]: So, as we're seeing this, a person that is truly is a true apostate, number one, only God knows.

  495. [SPEAKER_00]: We don't know.

  496. [SPEAKER_00]: Number two, only a lost person who was part of an assembly and departs from it, that person is lost.

  497. [SPEAKER_00]: Christians don't apostate.

  498. [SPEAKER_00]: That's only lost people.

  499. [SPEAKER_00]: All of this text, you versus they.

  500. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, you love God, they're fruit.

  501. [SPEAKER_00]: Them is nothing but curse and thorns.

  502. [SPEAKER_00]: So again, a constant contrast between the them who departed and those who are still in the assembly, et cetera.

  503. [SPEAKER_00]: And so the evidence is their view of Jesus.

  504. [SPEAKER_00]: Their view of who he is.

  505. [SPEAKER_00]: Their view of his holiness, his authority.

  506. [SPEAKER_00]: They have departed from all of that.

  507. [SPEAKER_00]: And as I get, Jesus is cute, but I know what's right and wrong.

  508. [SPEAKER_00]: I say what's right and wrong.

  509. [SPEAKER_00]: The Bible has no authority over me, and they literally take the Word of God, the church, Christ, Jesus, and put it all aside, and oftentimes they develop their own religion.

  510. [SPEAKER_00]: Back in the day, it was humanism.

  511. [SPEAKER_00]: They had their own manifesto.

  512. [SPEAKER_00]: This is what we declare.

  513. [SPEAKER_00]: Evolution, they have their thesis, they have their layout of what they believe.

  514. [SPEAKER_00]: And it will be anything but connecting Genesis chapter one with their doctrine.

  515. [SPEAKER_00]: But they know Genesis one.

  516. [SPEAKER_00]: They have studied it out.

  517. [SPEAKER_00]: And they say, no, and they develop their own.

  518. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you realize how many churches are now connecting,

  519. [SPEAKER_00]: as one, because they have to be intelligent.

  520. [SPEAKER_00]: They have to reach out.

  521. [SPEAKER_00]: We don't want to say there's only one way.

  522. [SPEAKER_00]: One big church in the area day, but I think it was one that told me about it years ago.

  523. [SPEAKER_00]: The very large assembly and the leadership put a questionnaire out.

  524. [SPEAKER_00]: OK, don't answer out loud.

  525. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't make it look bad.

  526. [SPEAKER_00]: So the question was, is there more than one way to go to heaven?

  527. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you realize the majority of the people said, yes, in this church, in our region?

  528. [SPEAKER_00]: And they're like, oops, we're not getting the word out clear enough.

  529. [SPEAKER_00]: So, I hope they did straighten it up and began to indoctrinate because they were not doing what we do here.

  530. [SPEAKER_00]: They were not indoctrinating, but they were making it feel really good and there's a lot of people and a lot of money.

  531. [SPEAKER_00]: But the people, sadly, we're going to church and lost.

  532. [SPEAKER_00]: So you know better than that.

  533. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's not just homosexuality.

  534. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not just abortion.

  535. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not just one thing.

  536. [SPEAKER_00]: It is a belief system that they have left the word, if left Jesus.

  537. [SPEAKER_00]: and they have created their own.

  538. [SPEAKER_00]: And sometimes they come in here to try to indoctrinate.

  539. [SPEAKER_00]: They're anti-Christ in the church.

  540. [SPEAKER_00]: And then if they can't sway, then they pull out.

  541. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, it's the second Corinthians four, four, principles.

  542. [SPEAKER_00]: Satan has blinded the minds of those who believe not.

  543. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's think I'm delighted to have Lord of God's well.

  544. [SPEAKER_00]: Christ is one way.

  545. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

  546. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, you know, that's exactly right.

  547. [SPEAKER_00]: And so some who are here, even tonight, were indoctrinated with this.

  548. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a set of roles you do this, you obey me, and then you'll squeak in maybe.

  549. [SPEAKER_00]: If you're good enough, well, then it's based on works.

  550. [SPEAKER_00]: Now I'm looking at my life to qualify to be saved and it doesn't work that way.

  551. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

  552. [SPEAKER_00]: So one man I was meeting with today left a church because this is what the church in this region became to do.

  553. [SPEAKER_00]: They began to teach topics.

  554. [SPEAKER_00]: What they would do is they would tell their stories, their history lessons, their philosophies on the topic, and then they would find a verse or two somewhere that would agree with what their topic is.

  555. [SPEAKER_00]: What's wrong with that one?

  556. [SPEAKER_00]: A lot.

  557. [SPEAKER_00]: So,

  558. [SPEAKER_00]: What we do is best as we can here is we take the word draw out the meaning now we have the topic or the subject.

  559. [SPEAKER_00]: So we allow the word of God to become the one who brings it up.

  560. [SPEAKER_00]: So we're first John chapter two.

  561. [SPEAKER_00]: Why did I just jump over these verses?

  562. [SPEAKER_00]: These are hard.

  563. [SPEAKER_00]: Not popular.

  564. [SPEAKER_00]: That we have a lot of churches represented.

  565. [SPEAKER_00]: People, I mean, I've been in different churches.

  566. [SPEAKER_00]: I've been under a lot of preachers all over the world.

  567. [SPEAKER_00]: And I have never heard a message going

  568. [SPEAKER_00]: Why?

  569. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I've heard hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of messages.

  570. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's because they don't do expository preaching.

  571. [SPEAKER_00]: They jump over and then we can do the topic.

  572. [SPEAKER_00]: Then we can hit our typical five things.

  573. [SPEAKER_00]: Heaven and hell, you give money.

  574. [SPEAKER_00]: We give the missions and you live and don't go to movies and you wear this and then you'll be holy.

  575. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what we were taught.

  576. [SPEAKER_00]: One of those five messages from every evangelist missionary pastor at basically his five, there might be one more message.

  577. [SPEAKER_00]: It was one of those six topics.

  578. [SPEAKER_00]: And then they loved it when they were going to get it.

  579. [SPEAKER_00]: Freaking and getting drunk and groves and going to movies everybody.

  580. [SPEAKER_00]: Amen.

  581. [SPEAKER_00]: Second preach, we used to say, sickum, get them, get those sinners.

  582. [SPEAKER_00]: And then when the preacher changes, he starts preaching on the fruit of the spirit.

  583. [SPEAKER_00]: Walking with God, they've got crucified him.

  584. [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, you're not preaching on hell anymore.

  585. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, who are you going there?

  586. [SPEAKER_00]: No, but you need to preach on hell.

  587. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, preach on things that are not going to affect you.

  588. [SPEAKER_00]: Ah.

  589. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, at Dick McCurray, he used to always say to me, I go and stop over, have a coffee on him.

  590. [SPEAKER_00]: He goes, you know, I know you're preaching on Jesus, but now you're starting to metal.

  591. [SPEAKER_00]: They're getting involved in my life.

  592. [SPEAKER_00]: He would always say that, you know, now you're metal and you know, I was like, yeah, I'm sorry.

  593. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm getting involved with your life of transformation, walking the spear, the love, the joy, the peace, so long suffering, the gentleness, the goodness of faith, the tempers, all these things that God is wanting us to have.

  594. [SPEAKER_00]: And they're like, no, we want to hear about those drinks.

  595. [SPEAKER_00]: We don't hear those stories about person got saved out of drugs.

  596. [SPEAKER_00]: We don't hear that kind of stuff.

  597. [SPEAKER_00]: Not, I'm not walking with God.

  598. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not having my bitterness.

  599. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to be angry.

  600. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm allowed to, you know what I was like now?

  601. [SPEAKER_00]: No?

  602. [SPEAKER_00]: And no.

  603. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

  604. [SPEAKER_00]: Good.

  605. [SPEAKER_00]: Mike, why hope back clarify?

  606. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.

  607. [SPEAKER_00]: Now I want to make sure I don't want to be unclear for sure.

  608. [SPEAKER_00]: Good.

  609. [SPEAKER_00]: Anybody else have a thoughts you've studied it out that might help us to pull it together?

  610. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's right.

  611. [SPEAKER_00]: By the way, Galatians and Romans did the same thing, and the issue at hand there was the legalism that was taking people away from Jesus.

  612. [SPEAKER_00]: They're back to the walls, keep the Sabbath, get circumcised, do all those things, get in trials, and you've got to keep the law.

  613. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's just, that will pollute.

  614. [SPEAKER_00]: as quickly as anything.

  615. [SPEAKER_00]: So that was God was saying, that's apostasy, you're anti-Jesus.

  616. [SPEAKER_00]: Now you're like, you're doing it, you're works and you're making these laws and mandates.

  617. [SPEAKER_00]: Let me tell you this independent fundamentalism that happened back in the 60s, 70s, 80s.

  618. [SPEAKER_00]: There was some really bad doctrine being taught.

  619. [SPEAKER_00]: And I was hearing it.

  620. [SPEAKER_00]: And I took it in and then I read my Bible.

  621. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, that is not biblical.

  622. [SPEAKER_00]: And they separated from me, and I separated from them, too.

  623. [SPEAKER_00]: Because I don't line up with that.

  624. [SPEAKER_00]: That they would say, I'm a prostate.

  625. [SPEAKER_00]: I have been told I am a false teacher.

  626. [SPEAKER_00]: Seriously, you're not preaching on women wearing pants and guys are long hair, hippies, all that stuff that used to be screamed at back in the 60s and 70s.

  627. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like that popular.

  628. [SPEAKER_00]: Too much makeup, women.

  629. [SPEAKER_00]: If you know, I heard a story and somebody might have heard it too, but when the evangelists were screaming at the people back in the day, I don't know what era it was, but when wire frame glasses came out, evangelists and preachers were preaching against it, but they because they were worldly.

  630. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, I'm still trying to find out when in the Bible.

  631. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, nah, it's not biblical.

  632. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm rambling on now.

  633. [SPEAKER_00]: You guys have anything else?

  634. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah?

  635. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

  636. [SPEAKER_00]: And I got good brethren that we agree to disagree.

  637. [SPEAKER_00]: There's certain things that we agree to disagree.

  638. [SPEAKER_00]: That's fine.

  639. [SPEAKER_00]: I got care ofmatic friends.

  640. [SPEAKER_00]: We agree to disagree.

  641. [SPEAKER_00]: People say, well, you can lose salvation.

  642. [SPEAKER_00]: So bottom line is all of us are going to agree.

  643. [SPEAKER_00]: Whether you agree with the loser or not.

  644. [SPEAKER_00]: All of us are going to agree with one thing.

  645. [SPEAKER_00]: This guy that departs, they're lost and going to hell.

  646. [SPEAKER_00]: You follow me?

  647. [SPEAKER_00]: We both have them in the same bubble.

  648. [SPEAKER_00]: That's where they're at, they're gone.

  649. [SPEAKER_00]: And so that's one thing to clarify too.

  650. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, too anymore, and we were talking, I don't know how we got into it.

  651. [SPEAKER_00]: We had a kind of subduction, and unlike, we are Americanized everything.

  652. [SPEAKER_00]: In Christianity, in America, America is going to basically be what Heaven's all about.

  653. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, everybody's going to be speaking English.

  654. [SPEAKER_00]: Amazing grace is going to be the theme song and, you know, it's just going to be America and I'm like, that's not true and guess what?

  655. [SPEAKER_00]: On top of that, amazing grace is not going to be the key song, Tuesday morning.

  656. [SPEAKER_00]: What is it?

  657. [SPEAKER_00]: Where is the lamb?

  658. [SPEAKER_00]: That's our song in heaven.

  659. [SPEAKER_00]: And then the Hallelujah chorus is going to be there.

  660. [SPEAKER_00]: And then you got the 144,000 Jewish men singing a song we never heard before.

  661. [SPEAKER_00]: There's only kinds of music.

  662. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's not going to be the caterer of power.

  663. [SPEAKER_00]: Or is it going to be casting crowns out?

  664. [SPEAKER_00]: Whoever you listen to, that's not what it's going to be America.

  665. [SPEAKER_00]: Sir.

  666. [SPEAKER_00]: prodigal son, boy, that's a good question.

  667. [SPEAKER_00]: He came back, didn't he?

  668. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, sir, that's a really good one.

  669. [SPEAKER_00]: And so, looking at just the son, as he departs, God worked in him, now we can do understand parable here, right?

  670. [SPEAKER_00]: And so, as he, in this story,

  671. [SPEAKER_00]: after he lived with prostitutes and drinking and just blew the tens of thousands of dollars in our language, you know, the money's gone, he got a job, slop, and pigs, and the stench is like, hey, boy, that even looks good, you know, when you're starving to death, you eat about anything, and then he realizes and it came to a senses and realized what he had

  672. [SPEAKER_00]: The fatted calf, the sacrifice, the shoes are given.

  673. [SPEAKER_00]: He's no longer a slave during the clothing.

  674. [SPEAKER_00]: He's now a son.

  675. [SPEAKER_00]: My son was gone dead, but he's alive.

  676. [SPEAKER_00]: And so there's two ways of looking at that.

  677. [SPEAKER_00]: You could have a child that is left.

  678. [SPEAKER_00]: And either side, they're going to do whatever they want to do, they're going to go running, drinking, and everything, and they're going, they're 19 years old, they're out in their own time, just going to do whatever I want to do.

  679. [SPEAKER_00]: And we have seen God working there in their hearts, and God breaks them, and they return home.

  680. [SPEAKER_00]: We have seen that over and over again in family's lives.

  681. [SPEAKER_00]: Praise the Lord when they come home.

  682. [SPEAKER_00]: And so, some would say, as the amazing grace says, I once was lost, but now I'm found with blind, but now I see, I think a lot of people look at that story as this young man was lost.

  683. [SPEAKER_00]: And then he realized, oh, I need to go back to the father.

  684. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm no longer worthy to be your son.

  685. [SPEAKER_00]: I just want to come back as a slave.

  686. [SPEAKER_00]: And so, some would see as redemption also because of the sacrifice.

  687. [SPEAKER_00]: I think you're going to apply that to either.

  688. [SPEAKER_00]: Either a child of God that left and came home or a child that was around, that left and realized how lost it can be, I need to get saved.

  689. [SPEAKER_00]: Either way, I think I can apply that.

  690. [SPEAKER_00]: I would lean more towards the former though, that is a wayward son that comes back, is where I would apply that one.

  691. [SPEAKER_00]: So not a prostate.

  692. [SPEAKER_00]: All right?

  693. [SPEAKER_00]: Yep.

  694. [SPEAKER_00]: That helped?

  695. [SPEAKER_00]: Yep.

  696. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you glad you came to church tonight?

  697. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you sorry that this is going on so long?

  698. [SPEAKER_00]: So I feel bad up here, it's not me, it's you.

  699. [SPEAKER_00]: You got to get up at four o'clock in the morning and go to work and all that kind of stuff.

  700. [SPEAKER_00]: Some of you do.

  701. [SPEAKER_00]: Some of you, every day is Saturday.

  702. [SPEAKER_00]: We got some chairs, but yeah, we got, yeah, the newest guy every day saturday, so there's some tables that need to be set up and so some can help out with that, that would be awesome.

  703. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for your prayers for Laurie and I had a good time, Laurie with her mom, keep on praying for her.

  704. [SPEAKER_00]: She's definitely going downhill a lot.

  705. [SPEAKER_00]: And so, uh...

  706. [SPEAKER_00]: But I'm really glad my wife had that quality time with Donna for sure.

  707. [SPEAKER_00]: Lord, thank you for the night.

  708. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for these dear folks.

  709. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for your word that helps us to understand how you think, how you see it, not how we feel.

  710. [SPEAKER_00]: So Lord, help us to put your word to our minds and hearts and never ever give up on someone.

  711. [SPEAKER_00]: We pray, we fast, we beg you for them to come back.

  712. [SPEAKER_00]: and whether they find out their loss or whether they realize they've been fighting you, whatever it is Lord, just work and orchestrate it.

  713. [SPEAKER_00]: Only you can do that by surrounding them with people surrounding them, breaking them down to bring them back to yourself.

  714. [SPEAKER_00]: So Lord, thank you for this night.

  715. [SPEAKER_00]: Use it for your glory and Jesus name a pray.

  716. [SPEAKER_00]: Amen.
