  1. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Because we live in the dispensation called grace,

  2. this does not mean that we have a license to sin.

  3. That is not what grace means. Let's read Romans chapter 6. We're going to go to the Word of God.

    Romans 6 chapter mention

  4. It says, What shall we say then?

  5. Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?

  6. God forbid. How shall we that are dead to sin live any longer therein?

  7. So how could we be living for God and yet still living in sin?

  8. Jesus Christ did not die for us, for us to continue in sin.

  9. That would make his death in vain. It wasn't so we have a license that,

  10. oh, no matter what we sin, we get to go to heaven. No, that's not how it works.

  11. Look, let's see what the scriptures have to say.

  12. Verse 3 in Romans chapter 6 says, Know ye not that so many of us as were baptized

    Romans 6 chapter mention

  13. into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

  14. Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death, that like as Christ

  15. was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should

  16. walk in the newness of life.

  17. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death,

  18. we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection,

  19. knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed.

  20. Did you hear that? The body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

  21. Listen to what it says. For he that is dead is freed from sin.

  22. Now, if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him.

  23. Knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dieth no more,

  24. death hath no more dominion over him.

  25. For in that he died, he died unto sin once, but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

  26. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead, indeed unto sin,

  27. but alive unto God, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

  28. Are you hearing this? Verse 12. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body,

  29. that ye should obey it in the lust thereof.

  30. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin,

  31. but yield yourselves unto God as those that are alive from the dead,

  32. and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

  33. For sin shall not have dominion over you. So no, dominion, that sin is not supposed

  34. to have dominion over us.

  35. If sin still has dominion in your life, it's because you are not completely

  36. surrendered to God. You're not living for God. You're not giving your all.

  37. And that's the problem because that's what it takes to make it to heaven.

  38. That's what it takes to serve Jesus Christ.

  39. You can't give him 99%.

  40. He wants 100. He wants it all.

  41. So when you give him less than all, you're always going to fall.

  42. Let me show you some scriptures. Let's continue.

  43. So let's read verse 15 now. No, verse 14. For sin shall not have dominion over

  44. you, for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then?

  45. Shall we sin because we are not under the law, but under grace?

  46. God forbid. Know ye not that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey,

  47. his servants ye are to whom ye obey.

  48. So whether of sin unto death or of obedience unto righteousness.

  49. So it can be only one or the other. So if you yield yourself to sin,

  50. that's who you obey. That's who you serve, which means you serve the devil.

  51. That's what it means. You can't serve God and the devil at the same time.

  52. How can that be? The Bible says God is light and in him there is no darkness.

  53. What fellowship does light have with darkness?

  54. So, no, it doesn't work and say, oh, because we're under grace,

  55. God understands, and he's this big teddy bear in the sky, and he's always just

  56. going to take us in. The Bible says grace runs out.

  57. This happened to Ananias and Sapphira in Acts chapter 5.

    Acts 5 chapter mention

  58. They tried to lie to Peter and tried to make themselves look good in front of

  59. all the people. These were church people.

  60. They tried to look good because everyone else was selling land,

  61. and they were giving the money to the apostles.

  62. But they lied and they kept back part of the money. Do you know what happened to them?

  63. God himself killed them. That's called grace ran out.

  64. So why do we think that grace is forever? Why do we think that?

  65. Because maybe you're not reading your Bibles. Brethren, read your Bibles.

  66. The Bible tells us these things.

  67. So let's look at a scripture to prove, one, that we can live a victorious life.

  68. Jesus did not die for us to continue in sin. That would be foolishness.

  69. He never should have died for us. He died so that we could have life and have it more abundantly.

  70. Even the scripture says, the wages of sin is death.

  71. Let me read that for you so you make sure that I'm not making that up.

  72. Romans chapter 6, same chapter, verse 23. For the wages of sin is death,

    Romans 6 chapter mention

  73. but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

  74. So just like in the Old Testament, it's the same in the New.

  75. If you are going to live a sinful life, you can't expect to go to heaven.

  76. You can't expect to be with Jesus. That can't work.

  77. And the scripture teaches us in Galatians chapter 5,

    Galatians 5:16

  78. Verse 16 says this, This I say

  79. then, walk in the Spirit, and ye will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

  80. Think about this. He's giving us the key to overcoming our flesh.

  81. He says, walk in the Spirit.

  82. So he's telling us what to do. So are we saying that we can't accomplish this? We can't do this?

  83. Brethren, God can't tell us to do something that we're not able to do.

  84. He told the woman at the well, he said, when he caught her and he said,

  85. oh, you know, you had five husbands.

  86. And she said, yeah, you're right. What did he say to her? He said,

  87. go and sin no more. Oh, sorry. Wrong story.

  88. That was the woman where it was brought to them in adultery.

  89. He told that woman. But either way, it's the same message. He said, go and sin no more.

  90. So how could he command us to go and sin no more if we're just going to continue in sin?

  91. No, that's not how it works. We can live a sinless life. We just don't want

  92. to believe that because we want to make excuses to live in sin.

  93. But it's not scriptural. Brethren, how are we going to be judged?

  94. We're not going to be judged by my opinion. We're not going to be judged by

  95. your opinion. What we're going to be judged by is the Word of God.

  96. So if the Word of God shows us, watch this.

  97. Let me read something for you. Galatians chapter 5, I'm going to keep reading.

    Galatians 5 chapter mention

  98. Listen to this. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these.

  99. We have adultery, we have fornication, we have uncleanness, lasciviousness,

  100. idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

  101. envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings,

  102. and it says such alike.

  103. And we can go in great detail of what all those are, but you can look them up.

  104. Listen to what it says. Listen to this.

  105. Of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, listen to this,

  106. that they which do such things shall not, shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

  107. So how are you going to say grace is going to save you in sin.

  108. That is not how it works. Let me tell you how it works. The scripture says,

  109. how are we saved by grace?

  110. We're saved by grace because none of us deserve the love of God.

  111. None of us deserve, all of us deserve to be condemned and go to hell. Every single one of us.

  112. So how grace works is, we have the opportunity to choose Christ.

  113. We have the opportunity to obey Christ. As we read in Romans,

  114. it's who we yield ourselves to, it's whom we obey.

  115. And whom you obey is what's going to tell you where you're going.

  116. So after you're saved because nobody here earned this salvation,

  117. but you do get salvation only through obedience.

  118. You don't get salvation because you believe. You get salvation because you believe and obey.

  119. If you don't obey the scriptures, you cannot be saved. Why do you think Jesus

  120. said, if you love me, keep my commandments?

  121. Because if you don't keep his commandments, you're a liar.

  122. You don't believe me? Let's go to the scriptures.

  123. So let's go to 1 John, and we're going to read chapter 2, verse 3 to 6.

  124. And listen to what it says.

  125. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

  126. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments,

  127. is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

  128. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected.

  129. Hereby know we that are in him.

  130. Don't mind the noise, praise the Lord. He that saith he abideth in him,

  131. listen to this, ought himself also to walk even as he walked.

  132. So that means we're supposed to walk as Jesus walked. So it can't be telling

  133. us to do something that we are not capable of doing.

  134. And I'm going to give you more scripture to prove to you that we can live a

  135. sinless lifestyle, that we don't have to fall into temptations.

  136. We don't have to fall to lust and sin.

  137. So 2 Peter, we're going to read chapter 1. And I'm just going.

  138. To read from verse 5 to 10. So follow along.

  139. Listen to what it says. And beside this, giving all diligence,

  140. add to your faith virtue, and to virtue knowledge,

  141. and to knowledge temperance, and to temperance patience, and to patience godliness,

  142. and to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness charity.

  143. For if these things be in you and abound, they make you that ye shall neither

  144. be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  145. Listen to this. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar

  146. off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

  147. But listen to verse 10 now.

  148. Wherefore, the rather brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election

  149. sure for, listen now, for if, if ye do these things, ye shall never fall.

  150. See, the problem is people are stuck at just having faith.

  151. But look what the scripture says. It says, beside this, giving all diligence,

  152. add to your faith virtue, virtue to knowledge and all the rest that was said.

  153. So the problem is people are not adding to their faith.

  154. They're just believing in God, staying in sin. And now you want to preach a

  155. message saying, oh, it's okay because we're in grace.

  156. That's a lie from the pit of hell. Don't believe the lies of the devil because

  157. you're going to find yourself on the other side of the fence.

  158. So I'm warning you out of the love of God.

  159. And you have to understand, I'm trying to be straightforward.

  160. You can't be saved by patty-kicking it. You need to be saved by the truth.

  161. And sometimes the truth hurts, but if it's the Word of God, then you should

  162. cleave onto it. If it's the Word of God, you should say, thank you, Jesus.

  163. The Bible says He chastises those that He loves. So if this is chastising you, then accept it.

  164. But just know the Word of God can't change for you.

  165. The Word of God is going to change because you don't believe in it,

  166. because you want it to say something else because you want to justify your sinful lifestyle.

  167. It will not work. So we have to stick to the scriptures. If we're going to live

  168. for God, then live for God.

  169. If you have any other questions or comments, feel free. I will answer them in Jesus' name. God bless.
