  1. Incident of living and the topic today is manifesting Melchizedek. It's a continuing series of what we've been doing over the last many

  2. weeks and

  3. The thing is

  4. All the stuff we've been talking about oh, sorry, you know, I'm on yeah

  5. All the stuff we've been talking about the principles the insights the revelations

  6. if if they don't move from

  7. Kairos to Kronos, okay?

  8. When I say Kairos to Kronos Kronos means time, okay, so

  9. Whenever God does something there's a season for everything that God does and we can kind of though

  10. This may not be the exact definition Kairos is

  11. The things that are released from seasons from God seasons that that kind of that kind of encompasses the whole idea of Kairos

  12. We've got to take what God is revealing in

  13. Kairos or in God seasons and we've got to make them real in Kronos, which is

  14. time

  15. chronology time and

  16. If we are not able to do that then everything we are talking about these insights these teachings these principles these revelations are

  17. Untested and useless

  18. So anything that we talk about has to be brought from God's

  19. Presence season or whatever he wants to do and whatever he's releasing we take that and we build it in our present time

  20. It has to be something tangible and it has to demonstrate the life and the power of God

  21. Hey, Ranita, it has to demonstrate the life and power of God

  22. So if we don't do that, then everything we are doing thus far is useless. Okay, so just remember that

  23. Thanks Ryan

  24. So

  25. We've been talking about

  26. What did we talk about last week unprecedented living what what we were discussing last week

  27. Jacob's Ladder

  28. We're talking about how to access things from the heavenlies and make them here on earth. See as priests

  29. We access the heavenlies as kings. We execute whatever we see on the earth

  30. As priests we access the heavenlies it says priests that we have an insight or an

  31. or a

  32. Ability to penetrate the heavens and see what's happening there and it says kings that we now

  33. execute it here and

  34. we talked about this about

  35. Six or seven months ago how we are priests kings here on earth

  36. We are priests kings here on earth

  37. revelations chapter 5 verse 10 says he has made us priests and

    Revelation 5:10

  38. Kings here on earth not in the future here on earth Ryan is a priest king

  39. crazy, he's only 16 or 17. He's a priest king and

  40. If he is born again, then he has which he is then he has the ability to access

  41. What God is doing in the heavens and he has the ability as a priest to do that because priests are allowed access into the

  42. Very throne room of God in the Old Testament. Remember when priests would come they would not stay outside

  43. The people would stay outside the priest would go right into the holy of holies. Hey Matt, could see you right up front

  44. So he would go straight into the holy of holies the priest could do that

  45. So Ryan has the ability to now go into the heavenlies and God can show him what is happening and then Ryan because he's priest

  46. King has now the ability to hear on earth as a king

  47. Establish what he's seen there

  48. this is how it works and

  49. Basically guys priests and King are the two tracks on which

  50. Remember we talked about finished work

  51. Every everything God did is already

  52. Complete finished there is a finished work called Marcus

  53. There is a finished work called acts 29

  54. There is a finished work called

  55. The New Jerusalem, which we already and which is yet to come

  56. Everything God did is complete but we don't see it yet, but it is finished

  57. but for a finished work to come to pass it runs on the tracks of

  58. priest

  59. and

  60. King it's if a finished work

  61. If let's put it this way if if the finished work called Jacob meaning the Jacob who God has

  62. Crafted who he wants to see fulfill his destiny who he has shaped and written down every day of his life

  63. The way it should work out. It's up to me whether I want to do that or not. Hi guys

  64. Welcome

  65. Good to see you again

  66. So as

  67. priests

  68. For God to bring to pass everything that I Jacob should be

  69. The first thing I need to do is understand that the two tracks that I have to run on is one

  70. That of me as a priest and the second that of me as a king because only then can I access the things God is showing

  71. In the heavenlies and finish it here on earth. Let me give you an example

  72. Gosh now I can face the whole church

  73. Or till about ten minutes ago. Everybody was sitting there now the whole place is kind of full so

  74. I

  75. Need eyes of faith in this shirt sometimes

  76. Priest and King are the tracks on which the finished work accelerates towards completion

  77. Let me say that again priest and King are the tracks on which the finished work

  78. Accelerates towards completion here on earth. For example, if you turn to Genesis chapter 30 Genesis 30

    Genesis 30 chapter mention

  79. Genesis 30

  80. Genesis 30

  81. Genesis 3 0 and if you turn to 31 and 32

  82. And it says that

  83. This is Jacob and Laban Laban was his uncle and he is Laban asking him what shall I give you and Jacob says

  84. Don't give me anything Jacob replied, but if you will do this one thing for me, I will go on tending your flocks

  85. Today and remove from them every speckled or spotted sheep every dark colored lamb and every spotted or speckled goat

  86. They will be my

  87. Wages and then go to verse 43 in verse 43

  88. It says that in this way the man meaning Jacob grew exceedingly

  89. prosperous and came to own large flocks and maidservants and men servants camels and donkeys and if you go a little above it go to

  90. verse

  91. 37 no not worth 37 was

  92. Was

  93. When the flocks were in heat and came to drink they mated in front of the branches and they bore young that was streaked or

  94. speckled or spotted

  95. Jacob set them apart set apart the young of the flock by themselves

  96. But made the rest face the streaked and dark colored animals that belong to Laban thus

  97. He made separate flocks for himself and did not put them with Laban's animals

  98. Whenever the stronger females were in heat Jacob would place the branches in the troughs in front of the animals

  99. So they would mate near the branches, but if the animals were weak he would not place them there

  100. So the weak animals went to Laban and the strong ones to Jacob in this way the man grew exceedingly

  101. Prosperous and came to own large flocks and maidservants and men servants and camels and donkeys folks the finished work here is

  102. verse

  103. 43

  104. Verse 43 is the finished work and what is it that Jacob?

  105. Prosper that's the finished

  106. Work okay now as a

  107. King

  108. Jacob did something look at verse 37 as a king Jacob did something look at verse 37

  109. Jacob however took fresh cut branches from poplar

  110. almond and

  111. Plain trees and made white strips on them by peeling the bark and exposing the white inner wood of the branches

  112. Then he plays the peel branches in all the watering troughs

  113. So that they would be directly in front of the flocks when they came to drink so as a king he places these

  114. Rods that were speckled and that were chipped so that they would be right in front of the water trough

  115. when the animals came to

  116. drink so

  117. This is a finished work

  118. And what is the finished work that Jacob would prosper that's the finished work

  119. What does Jacob do as a king he takes

  120. Those different branches and cuts them so that they're spot speckled and spotted and he puts it in front of the water trough

  121. So what did he do as a priest? Here's the crazy thing go to Genesis 31

  122. And it says there in Genesis 31

    Genesis 31:6

  123. Verse 6 you know that I worked for your father with all my strength

  124. Yet your father has cheated me by changing my wages ten times. This is Jacob speaking to Rachel. However verse

  125. 7b however God has not allowed him to harm me if he said the speckled ones will be your wages

  126. Then all the flocks gave birth to speckled ones and if he said the streaked ones will be your wages

  127. Then all the flocks gave birth to speckled ones and if he said the streaked ones will be your wages

  128. Then all the flocks were streaked ones. So God has taken away your father's livestock and has given them to me and then

  129. in verse

  130. 7 to 13, okay keep going in the breeding season

  131. I once had a dream in which I looked up and saw that the male goats mating with the flock was streaked speckled or

  132. Spotted the angel of God said to me in a dream Jacob

  133. I answered here I am and he said look up and see that all the male goats mating with the flock a streaked speckled

  134. Spotted for I have seen all that layman has been doing to you

  135. I am the god of Bethel where you anointed a pillar where you made a vow to me

  136. Now leave this land at once and go back to your native land folks

  137. in

  138. Genesis chapter 31 we find that Jacob

    Genesis 31 chapter mention

  139. accessed

  140. the heavenlies

  141. Through a

  142. Through a

  143. Dream and God specifically says I am the god of

  144. Bethel and Bethel was where he saw that dream with the angels ascending and descending on the

  145. ladder

  146. So you see what is happening here

  147. This is a finished work

  148. The finished work is Jacob prospered as a king he had to do something but before he does something he has to see something

  149. he sees a dream in which God specifically tells him how to go about taking the speckled and spotted and

  150. he shows him that picture and

  151. So Jacob sees that and now as a king he decides aha now that God has shown it

  152. Let me now do this as a representation of what God has shown him

  153. God showed him speckled and spotted he takes these

  154. branches and he begins to

  155. Speckled and spotted and set them up now Jacob has

  156. Brought to pass on the earth as a king what he saw as a priest so that the finished work will be complete

  157. This is how it works folks

  158. You see something and then you trust God to show you how to implement it here on earth

  159. And when you do that suddenly you find that you're one step closer to the finished work of whoever or whatever you are

  160. questions

  161. Comments challenges disagreements

  162. Yeah, it was just a God what Jacob was doing was not some kind of magic that would say look at these branches and start mating

  163. No, it was it was it was a sense of

  164. Putting here on earth some kind of a representation of what he saw in the

  165. Heavens it was more it's more an action of faith here on earth

  166. So that what was seen in heaven could now be shown symbolically here on earth

  167. So that what God had said would come to pass and this is what priests do priests see

  168. meaning that you should do you as a priest should see what God is showing in heaven and then you

  169. Do whatever you need to do here on earth symbolically or in faith and you will see a finished work happen

  170. In everything this works folks beat marriage business church

  171. Individualized this works, but I've got to know what I am seeing first and as a priest King Ryan

  172. And I have the ability to see what God is showing first

  173. It works in anything it works in training up your children

  174. It works in taking care of your home. It works in business. It works in everything

  175. In everything

  176. This is yeah where it becomes neoshtan yeah

  177. I'd say Matt once you see something in the heavenlies know you will know how much do in faith here on earth

  178. You will just know it

  179. Like like for instance I I keep saying stuff like

  180. One day I'll

  181. Have whatever is required to distribute money travel do whatever and have a surplus I

  182. Know that because I'm I know it's a finished work God has already shown it

  183. So how do I go about now here on earth whenever I see what I know God wants me to have when he releases?

  184. The wealth that is coming my way I say father

  185. I know you're pointing towards a thank you for that and I'll keep an eye on for that or

  186. Knowing that I'll stand before Kings because that's a finished work that has been spoken over my life. I make sure that

  187. Whenever I'm traveling I'll take one set of clothes that is decent to stand before Kings

  188. Yeah, but that's where priests Kings have to learn how to discern and we'll talk about how we can become the whole point of this

  189. Teaching today is to avoid exactly that Matt

  190. To avoid anything that would come in the way of you being a bona fide priest King who access the accesses of the heavens and dusting

  191. Zero on earth everyone is a priest King

  192. And you have to learn how to discern and how to be a priest King

  193. You are a bona fide priest King who access the accesses of the heavens and dusting zero on earth

  194. Everyone here can be that because like it or not you are a nascent priest King

  195. nascent meaning something that you're born with the moment you become a believer you are a

  196. priest King

  197. But it is veiled in flesh and sometimes that has to be removed so that you can begin to walk in it and the moment

  198. You walk in it you begin to walk on those two tracks that will bring you to your completion

  199. To the finished work of who you are just imagine the the hundreds of people who are going to benefit from your life in my life

  200. When we walk as priest Kings

  201. Just imagine how the earth is going to benefit when you walk as a priest King

  202. I'm talking about the earth folks. I'm not I'm not limiting it to Vancouver. I'm talking about the earth

  203. Imagine how the earth is going to benefit when I I walk in the fullness of a priest King that I am

  204. Christ walked in the fullness of who he was high priest and King because he is a high priest and King

  205. So we are priests and Kings to here on earth

  206. This is reality. This is the truth. This is not theory

  207. And the sooner we begin to grasp and understand this note the more we can walk in it man

  208. It's so real

  209. You know, I remember

  210. sometime ago I was

  211. At be asking the Lord so father. What do you have to say about this?

  212. What do you have to say about this thing? This person asked me this question

  213. What should I say to this person at one point?

  214. I remembered the Lord saying to me take it

  215. You know sometimes you use me like a phone booth and you go into the phone booth with a 25 cent coin drop it in

  216. Pick up the phone and say so what about this and you receive an answer you put the phone booth back

  217. He's I don't want you to live like you're entering a phone booth

  218. I want you to live like you are roaming around in a mansion and you're getting answers wherever

  219. Why am I saying that you guys because priest Kings know they don't go into a phone booth and drop a 25 cent coin to

  220. Ask the Lord. What do you think about this?

  221. They walk in a mansion called I am what I am

  222. It is but you begin to walk in walk in answers

  223. James you

  224. Yeah, otherwise what happens is God becomes a phone booth that you go into

  225. But what if you're what what if the earth is a phone booth? I mean imagine a humongous

  226. Not for but what if the earth is tell us?

  227. Now you don't have to go to a phone booth

  228. You've got all those connections right at the place you begin to walk in a mansion called. I am what I am

  229. that's the name of God and then everything that pours through you that goes through you begins to come from the

  230. Very nature and spirit of God because you don't live outside of it

  231. So you don't have to take a step and say I've got to pause for a moment

  232. Think five songs become holy ask God a question come out. We're not Superman going into a phone booth

  233. For a change of dress

  234. We live that way 24-7

  235. You begin to live in a mansion called I am what I am

  236. That's his name what I'm trying to say is we begin to live in God

  237. So there's no need to go to God because we are living

  238. In him or with him

  239. Yeah

  240. If

  241. Folks try to shift that and you will find that now

  242. Someone could call you in the middle of the night and you will speak the wisdom of God

  243. Why because you're living in the fullness of who you are as a priest and a king

  244. There's a difference folks

  245. When it becomes your permanent

  246. permanent

  247. Lifestyle then you don't have to switch into it

  248. Yeah

  249. At once he never he when the disciples would come and ask him a tough question

  250. He'd say just a minute. I got to go into my son of God costume go into a phone booth

  251. Comes out with a cape and says now no Jesus never did that

  252. He always lived both a son of man and son of God continuously

  253. No, you have to begin to live as a priest king and as you begin to live as a priest king you will find

  254. That the wisdom of God begins to become your natural place of dwelling instead of having to go to the wisdom of God

  255. He who is the wisdom of God the Christ begins to become more and more evident in everything you begin to see

  256. Yeah brings it forth because now you're living as a priest king you're not taking days off

  257. I'll give you an instance

  258. Yeah, Sue called me last night and she was yesterday evening and she asked me

  259. We are Sue and I was supposed to meet a person and the person decided not to meet and so Sue was talking over the phone

  260. And she said she and we were talking about the person. I've never met the person before but

  261. We would

  262. We were talking about the person and she said she was talking about the person and she said she was talking about the person

  263. I'm not sure what she was talking about

  264. We were

  265. Basically thinking so what's the next step and I didn't have to wait for a moment to say father

  266. So what's the next step Lord? What do you want us to do with this person?

  267. No as I'm talking I'm so completely aware that the only thing God wants to say to the person because right there

  268. And then the Lord said I do not snuff out a smoldering wick and I do not break a bruised reed

  269. It's from Isaiah and as he's saying it

  270. I know exactly what he means, but this person has not come but keep encouraging keep investing in her life only good things regardless of how

  271. Terrible or bad or against God she may be keep saying how much I love her how much I love her how much I treasure her

  272. How much I value her how much I enjoy her how much my pleasure is in her how much I see

  273. What she will become and as you keep doing that this woman will change and so there was not even a second's hesitation in

  274. Conversation I was I knew I was giving

  275. God's I was speaking God's wisdom

  276. Okay

  277. When we discuss these next five points about how to walk as priests kings

  278. You'll see how anyone even a new believer if he begins to catch on can grasp it and begin to grow in it

  279. There are because yes, you can become a priest king immediately because that's who you are

  280. But at the same time you have to grow in it too. Just like you exercise a muscle

  281. so because Jesus grew in favor stature and

  282. and

  283. Wisdom with God and man so Jesus grew too in it. So that is there but like Paul says you can be a

  284. spiritual babe as long as you want and in the

  285. In in the kingdom of God being a babe is not cute

  286. It's just ridiculous so you can have people who are 40 years as Christians who are just babies or

  287. You can have one who's two years old two years a Christian and lose a champion

  288. So that's how it works and by the way, if you don't know scripture God can speak in language that would seem very

  289. Like he would probably say to a novice. Hey, I don't butt out cigarettes

  290. Instead of saying I don't snuff out a small drink wick

  291. He could actually say I don't butt out cigarettes and the guy would understand immediately. He may not know it's from Isaiah

  292. But God would convey the same thing

  293. So he's able to convey scriptures

  294. Quite easily. I'm not encouraging

  295. Smoking nor am I saying is that cigarettes should be left on unbutted, but that's another

  296. Any questions comments challenges disagreements

  297. Yes, Melchizedek means

  298. Yes Melchizedek means

  299. King of

  300. Actually Melchizedek means righteousness son of righteousness king of righteousness, but he was the king of Salem and

  301. the king of peace and righteousness in the sense of speaking

  302. No

  303. No

  304. Melchizedek was a type of Christ folks when when I use the word or whenever anyone uses the word

  305. Something is a type of something what it means is it's a shadow of what the actual is

  306. So when when the Bible says Melchizedek is a type of Christ what it means is Melchizedek is a shadow representation of what?

  307. Jesus is so it's a type

  308. No is a shadow a type he it was not Melchizedek was not

  309. Jesus Christ. He was a type of Elijah is a type of

  310. John the Baptist because the Bible says one shall come like unto Elijah and that's John the

  311. Baptist so Elijah was a type of John the Baptist. So that's the way Moses was a type of Christ

  312. because

  313. Israel is told from amongst you shall rise a prophet like

  314. Moses

  315. So that's how it works

  316. Any questions guys with regard to how it works in terms of seeing and executing like Jacob

  317. Okay

  318. The King priests nature

  319. Is already in us but can stay veiled in our flesh

  320. Sometimes till we go to our grave folks. I'm telling you there are hundreds and hundreds of Christians dying who have

  321. died as believers will go to heaven but never

  322. discovered the the

  323. Awesomeness of walking here on earth as

  324. Priest Kings

  325. Have a terrible man to spend a life not realizing that or not living it out it's already within you guys

  326. But it's veiled in flesh

  327. It's veiled in flesh. Can you see her baby? No

  328. But do you know?

  329. that

  330. It's almost like that

  331. It's veiled in flesh, but you know, it's gonna happen just like Suhani, you know, she's gonna give birth

  332. But can you see the baby yet?

  333. No

  334. So priests King is already there within us

  335. But it has to show

  336. It has to make an appearance and I want to take the life of Abraham to show you how

  337. The King priest makes an appearance

  338. Now if you go to Genesis 14

  339. Genesis 14

  340. Genesis 14

  341. Genesis 14 reading from verse 1

  342. I have half of mine to make someone else read this with all those names, but I will

  343. At this time Genesis 14 verses 1 onwards at this time Amraphel king of Shinar

    Genesis 14:1

  344. Ariok king of Elyaser Kedor Laumer king of Elam and Tidal king of

  345. Golem went to war against Bera king of Sodom

  346. Bersha king of Gomorrah

  347. Shinaab king of Adma

  348. Shemebar king of Zebulim and the king of Bela that is Zohar

  349. All these latter kings joined forces in the valley of Sidum the salt sea for 12 years

  350. They had been subject to Kedor Laumer, but in the 13th year they rebelled in the 14th year

  351. Kedor Laumer and the kings allied with him went out and defeated the Raphites in Ashtaroth, Karneim

  352. The Zuzites in Ham the Emites in Shaveh, Kiriyathim and the Horites in the hill country of Seir as far as Elparan

  353. Near the desert then they turned back and went to En Mishpat

  354. That is Kadesh and they conquered the whole territory of the Amalekites as well as the Amorites who were living in

  355. Hazazon, Tamar

  356. Then the king of Sodom the king of Gomorrah the king of Adma and the king of Zebulim and the king of Bela

  357. That is Zohar marched to the south of the desert

  358. The king of Bela that is Zohar marched out and drew up their battle lines in the valley of Sidum against Kedor Laumer

  359. King of Elam, Tidal king of Golem, Amraphel king of Shinar, Ariok king of Elassar, four kings against five

  360. Now the valley of Sidum was full of tar pits and when the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled some of the men

  361. Fell into them and the rest fled to the hills

  362. The four kings seized all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah and all their food and they went away

  363. Then they also carried off Abraham's nephew Lot and his possessions since he was living in Sodom

  364. One who had escaped came and reported this to Abraham the Hebrew

  365. Now Abraham was living near the great trees of Mamre the Amorite a brother of Eshkol and Aner

  366. All of who were allied with Abraham when Abraham heard that his relative had been taken captive

  367. He called out 318 trained men born in his household and went in pursuit as far as

  368. Dan

  369. The simplest name was the hardest to find

  370. During the night, I almost expected something bigger

  371. During the night Abraham divided his men to attack them and he routed them pursuing them as far as Hobah north of Damascus

  372. He recovered all the goods and brought back his relative Lot and his possessions together with the women and the other people

  373. After Abraham returned from defeating Kedor Laumer and the kings allied with him

  374. The king of Sodom came out to meet him in the valley of Shaveh

  375. That is the king's valley

  376. Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine

  377. He was a priest of God most high and he blessed Abraham saying

  378. Blessed be Abraham by God most high creator of heaven and earth

  379. And blessed be God most high who delivered your enemies into your hands

  380. Then Abraham gave him a tenth of everything

  381. The king of Sodom said to Abraham

  382. Give me the people and keep the goods for yourselves

  383. But Abraham said to the king of Sodom

  384. I have raised my hand to the Lord God most high creator of heaven and earth

  385. And I have taken a note that I will accept nothing belonging to you

  386. Not even a thread or the thong of a sandal

  387. So that you will never be able to say I made Abraham rich

  388. I will accept nothing but what my men have eaten and the share that belongs to the men who went with me

  389. To Anir, Ishkol and Mamre

  390. Let them have their share

  391. Folks

  392. I want us to look at the life of Abraham and see how the king priest makes an appearance in his life

  393. The king priest is here represented by Melchizedek

  394. Melchizedek or Melchizedek I'm not too sure how to pronounce it Gisela

  395. Melchizedek is a king priest

  396. He was a king of Salem

  397. And he was a priest of the most high God and his name means righteousness

  398. Priest of the most high God

  399. So we find that a king priest makes an appearance in Abraham's life

  400. And through this story we want to see what it takes for the king priest within us to manifest or to make an appearance

  401. That's what we are heading, we are trying to find out

  402. How does a king priest who is already within you because you are a king and priest because Christ is king and priest

  403. How does a king priest manifest or make an appearance in your life?

  404. We want to find that out

  405. Because Melchizedek the king priest appeared to Abraham

  406. So let's find out how

  407. Look at the strange thing folks

  408. When does he appear to Abraham?

  409. He appears to Abraham not before the battle but after the battle

  410. You would expect that a king priest who is from God would appear to you before you go into battle

  411. To encourage you, to strengthen you

  412. The king priest here appears to Abraham not before the battle but after the battle

  413. After he has beaten the four kings then he appears

  414. And he says I am the king of Salem and I am also the priest of the most high God

  415. I would suggest to you that one way to find out how we can begin to live as priest kings

  416. How we can tear off that veil that sometimes hides the priest king within us

  417. How we can begin to live it out is to look at the names of the four kings that Abraham beat

  418. Abraham conquered four kings

  419. When we look at their names it will give us a clue as to what is required

  420. What we need to conquer before the priest king in us can manifest or appear

  421. Any questions?

  422. Do you understand where we are heading?

  423. Because by looking at the names of these four kings that Abraham conquered

  424. We will find out that when we conquer these four

  425. Suddenly the priest king within you will begin to become more and more evident

  426. Suddenly he will be birthed, he will be manifested, Melchizedek in your life

  427. The priest king in your life will make himself very obvious

  428. And then when you start running on those two tracks

  429. You will see how finished works that God has in store for you

  430. Will begin to accelerate and come to pass

  431. If you notice even with Abraham

  432. As soon as Melchizedek blessed him after he defeated the kings

  433. And Melchizedek blessed him after that Abraham's life began to accelerate

  434. In chapter 15 God comes and speaks to him

  435. In chapter 16 and 17 God comes and speaks to him

  436. In chapter 18 or so he starts bargaining with God for Sodom

  437. In chapter 19 to 21 you find him ultimately reaching the fullness of who he was

  438. As the father of faith on Mount Moriah when he has to sacrifice his son Isaac

  439. And God turns up

  440. And today he has children sitting at Acts 29

  441. Because we are the true children of Abraham

  442. The seed of Abraham, we

  443. And so this priest king in us can manifest two folks

  444. So let's look at the four kings

  445. The first king, his name was

  446. The manifestation of the priest king nature in us has veiled

  447. As long as these four kings rule over your life

  448. As long as these four kings folks

  449. Rule over my life

  450. It's going to be very hard for the priest king within me

  451. To begin to come into full display

  452. That nature to come into full display

  453. Is going to be very hard

  454. The first king is Amraphel

  455. A-M-R-A

  456. It's on your page right?

  457. Amraphel

  458. Now Amraphel means

  459. Sayer of darkness

  460. Amraphel means

  461. Sayer

  462. S-A-Y-E-R

  463. Darkness

  464. He speaks darkness over things?

  465. He speaks negativity

  466. Darkness not necessarily

  467. As darkness

  468. And demonic

  469. But I'd suggest to you that anything that is

  470. At its core negative

  471. Does not come from

  472. The father of lights in whom

  473. The actual medium of Amraphel?

  474. Yeah, Sayer of darkness

  475. Folks

  476. The sense of darkness here

  477. Some may say it has to do with

  478. The demonic but I'd just

  479. Say anything

  480. That personifies negativity

  481. That keeps coming out of my mouth

  482. Is what I would associate with it

  483. Amraphel is a Sayer of darkness

  484. There's a negativity in words used

  485. There's a negativity in the manner words are spoken

  486. There's a negativity in the manner words are spoken

  487. There's a negativity in the manner words are spoken

  488. Because there are people who won't say things that are negative

  489. Because there are people who won't say things that are negative

  490. But in the manner it is said

  491. It carries tremendous negativity

  492. And I'll tell you why it is important to beat this king

  493. And I'll tell you why it is important to beat this king

  494. So the first one is Amraphel

  495. Remind me to buy another board this week

  496. Amraphel

  497. Amraphel

  498. Means Sayer of darkness

  499. And

  500. Personified by negativity

  501. Personified by negativity

  502. In words

  503. In words

  504. In words spoken

  505. In words spoken

  506. And the way it is spoken

  507. I'd say it goes further than that Matt

  508. I would agree that that's part of it

  509. Where you are

  510. It's self-inflicted

  511. But I'm saying that when we begin to speak it

  512. To others too

  513. Because eventually if I'm a person

  514. Who keeps talking negatively about me

  515. I will see everything

  516. Through a pall of negativity

  517. And so it will go out to others too

  518. And so it will go out to others too

  519. And this is important that you check in your life

  520. In my life whether this is happening

  521. Negativity in words used and in the manner it is spoken

  522. Criticism of fault finding

  523. Criticism of fault finding

  524. Anger

  525. Rude-ness

  526. Rude-ness

  527. And the other thing

  528. Which is so subtle

  529. Is

  530. Inducing fear in others

  531. Through the words that you speak

  532. It will come from a very nice place

  533. But it's like putting a gun to someone's head and says

  534. If you don't do exactly what I tell you

  535. God is going to curse you

  536. Now that came out very nice

  537. It was a very nice council

  538. But basically I'm putting a gun to her head

  539. And saying if you don't do what I tell you

  540. And that's how things will happen

  541. It's still negative

  542. Through words to control

  543. Through words to control

  544. And if this is a part of your character

  545. Then I'm telling you

  546. A priest should carry

  547. Knowledge on his lips

  548. Malachi chapter 2 verse 7 says

    Malachi 2:7

  549. God says I want to find on the lips of a priest

  550. I want to find knowledge

  551. The knowledge of God

  552. That's what I want to find

  553. But when on the lips of a priest

  554. When I find negativity

  555. When I find fault finding

  556. When I find constant criticism

  557. When I find words that are spoken

  558. As if they're coming from me

  559. But usually to control and put a gun to someone's head

  560. Then King Amrath fell

  561. Is ruling in your life Jacob

  562. Even casual talk

  563. Will then constantly be lamenting the state of the church

  564. The state of BC

  565. The state of Canada

  566. It will always be negative

  567. You run into people like that man

  568. I know someone so well

  569. Who

  570. He came to Canada

  571. Some time ago but

  572. He's doing well but every time you go to him

  573. He'll tell you how lousy the country is

  574. How lousy the people are

  575. How lousy his job is

  576. I've never seen him happy

  577. Yeah but

  578. But he won't do that Gisela

  579. He won't do that

  580. He won't do that

  581. He has a right sense

  582. Who often prays for technical things

  583. To him he shows his faith

  584. For his own nature

  585. What happens

  586. He can't even do it himself

  587. Shows his glory to the one who

  588. See and I want to say that

  589. It happens outside of the church

  590. So it's very easy for us to be saying the right words here

  591. But if I go and ask your wife

  592. Or your husband

  593. If I go and ask your neighbors

  594. If you go and ask your wife or your daughter

  595. If you go ask my mum or my sister

  596. Then you will find out whether Amr Afel

  597. Is ruling in my life or not

  598. Because here it's easy folks

  599. Here it would be easy

  600. But ask my mum

  601. Ask my sister when they

  602. Ask me a question that I don't want to answer

  603. When they press into

  604. An issue that I don't think is their business

  605. Then how do I react

  606. Is it anger? Is it rudeness?

  607. Is it lashing back?

  608. Or is it still the same Jacob?

  609. I should go ask your wife or your husband

  610. How is it at home?

  611. Critical, fault finding

  612. Rude, angry

  613. Then Amr Afel is ruling

  614. In my life and your life

  615. And just a word of caution to husbands

  616. There are tons of

  617. Negative Amr Afel husbands in the church folks

  618. Tons of them

  619. They are rude

  620. They are fault finding

  621. They are miserly with their wives

  622. They are money, legalistic

  623. And they operate on the basis that a woman should

  624. Submit to a man and a man should rule over

  625. Tons of husbands like this in the church

  626. And if that is who

  627. You are as a husband or you are as a wife

  628. Then that is something that has to change

  629. Has to change

  630. Questions, comments?

  631. So obviously negativity in the world

  632. Is sort of prevalent

  633. But there's stuff in life that's serious

  634. Let's say a man's got a son

  635. That's on the wrong path

  636. And so you can't

  637. In a situation like that

  638. It can't be touchy feely, nicey nicey

  639. Always pointing out the sunshine

  640. So where's the line when you gotta sort of speak?

  641. Very simple Matt

  642. The principle of operation

  643. Is there is no speaking the truth

  644. Without love, there is no love without the truth

  645. Simple

  646. I have the truth in love or love in truth

  647. The moment in my, let's assume you're my son

  648. And you do something negative

  649. The moment when I speak to you

  650. I come across with all kinds of truth

  651. But no love, then it's not really the truth

  652. And if I come to you and you're doing wrong

  653. And I show a lot of love

  654. But there is no truth in it, then it's not love

  655. And you missed out on the father that I am

  656. If I do any of these two things

  657. Right now the words I'm saying

  658. It's not a negative warning

  659. But in love?

  660. No, it's not a negative warning

  661. Right now as I'm speaking

  662. I know that I'm speaking the truth

  663. But I'm not here with an axe to chop anyone down

  664. Right now I'm speaking the truth

  665. And I'm speaking it in love

  666. It is a warning

  667. I specifically am warning Amraphel husbands

  668. On the tape so that when it goes out

  669. People around the world will know it

  670. And if you as a spouse here

  671. Has this problem, change it

  672. Because a king called Amraphel, a seer of darkness

  673. Is ruling in your life

  674. If you have a wife who has that same attitude

  675. With her husband, change it

  676. And the strange thing is

  677. Amraphel husbands and wives

  678. Will never be like this with the rest of the world

  679. They'll be very generous with the rest of the world

  680. But they'll be very miserly with their spouses

  681. They'll be very kind to the rest of the world

  682. But very rude and fault finding with their spouses

  683. I've seen so much of this guys, it's not funny

  684. No, no

  685. Inducing fear is when suddenly

  686. In my relationship with anybody

  687. The person does it because they are afraid of me

  688. The moment that happens

  689. That relationship is on horrible ground

  690. I'm saying that's wrong

  691. Oh no, no

  692. Saying consequences is not a problem

  693. But when I do something to cause

  694. When I do something to cause fear in Ryan

  695. No, no, not fear, I'm not talking about God

  696. In my relationship with Ryan

  697. The moment fear enters James, that relationship is not true

  698. If a wife does things

  699. Because she's afraid of her husband

  700. Yeah, yeah

  701. And that's what God did with Adam

  702. Hey Adam, tons and tons of trees

  703. You can go and eat whatever you want

  704. Because if you eat it

  705. You'll lose out on this amazing life that you have with me

  706. Okay, just so you know

  707. And he left him alone

  708. Don't eat, don't eat

  709. Because Adam didn't live in fear

  710. If Adam lived in fear, he would not have sinned

  711. If Adam lived in fear

  712. He would not have sinned

  713. Folks, like I said

  714. I hope I'm not wrong

  715. And we'll talk about that at the end of the teaching

  716. When someone asked me four months ago

  717. What is the biggest strength of Acts 29

  718. My response was

  719. People are free to do what they want

  720. Because that's how God is the best

  721. Yeah, totally

  722. That is surprisingly the biggest strength of Acts 29

  723. People are free to do what they want

  724. People are free to do what they want

  725. But we are putting in principles

  726. So that people will know how to

  727. Live in the liberty of what they now have

  728. Please

  729. While I was doing this

  730. I was thinking of my sister

  731. And at times when she asked me questions

  732. That I don't want to answer

  733. Or when she challenges me on something

  734. That I'm saying is of God

  735. She says

  736. But what if, what if

  737. My sister, because she's close to me

  738. I know I won't lose her

  739. So I get irritated

  740. And I was writing this, asking myself

  741. There have been times when I've been rude to her

  742. And Amr Fel speaks negatively and rudely

  743. He's a seer of darkness

  744. And I was doing this

  745. And I was thinking to myself

  746. I've got to take out rudeness from my way of living

  747. I cannot afford to be rude

  748. Jesus was not rude ever

  749. Ever, man

  750. He was blooming angry with the Pharisees

  751. And I've been calling them vipers

  752. I'm telling you he was not rude

  753. So what business do I have

  754. Being rude with anybody

  755. I've got to live as a priest king

  756. Here on earth folks

  757. We've got to become this

  758. We have to let the Melchizedek manifest

  759. The king priest manifest

  760. Appear in our lives

  761. If we have any one of these

  762. Then what's the next step

  763. We'll come to that

  764. 28 minutes from now

  765. When Amr Fel is active

  766. The priest no longer has knowledge on his lips

  767. And the king no longer

  768. Speaks words of God's wisdom

  769. If you go to Malachi 2.7

  770. It says a priest should speak knowledge

  771. And God should find knowledge on his lips

  772. And the priest should speak words of God's wisdom

  773. That's in Proverbs 16 verse 10

    Proverbs 16:10

  774. That the sentences that come from a king's mouth

  775. Should be divine

  776. Sentences as in decrease

  777. And both those are

  778. Undone

  779. Folks, let me deal with what Sue asked immediately

  780. How do we overcome this

  781. I have the absolute ability

  782. To stop being rude, folks

  783. No longer

  784. Before it could be

  785. I would say 10 years ago I would tell you to go pray

  786. Go fast

  787. Go read the Bible more

  788. But now the answer is very simple

  789. It is in my absolute control and ability

  790. To not be rude

  791. Because the only person that lives within me is

  792. Yeah

  793. Christ living in me through

  794. The union of my spirit and his spirit

  795. That's all

  796. It is absolutely possible for me to live this way

  797. It is a deliberate decision, folks

  798. And slowly

  799. Maybe once or twice or three times

  800. The decision will be a struggle

  801. After that it will become a preference

  802. Because I want to become like

  803. Jesus

  804. And if that is my desire

  805. Then my rudeness will change regardless of the circumstances, folks

  806. Jesus was not rude with his mother

  807. Jesus was not rude with his brothers

  808. Even when they came to say he was crazy

  809. And they wanted to take him away

  810. And put him in a house for a little while

  811. It is absolutely possible

  812. You might say but you don't know my wife

  813. Or you don't know my husband

  814. True I don't

  815. But you know if you are married

  816. You have more grace than me to handle that

  817. You have it

  818. Even when

  819. If you

  820. Come across a situation

  821. Your mind is different

  822. To answer

  823. Like you know, I don't know the other day it happened to me

  824. Like one of the passengers

  825. He had an excellent idea

  826. And we had to make it less

  827. Whatever it was

  828. And he went and made less

  829. And he came and he banged his bag on the table

  830. I noticed that

  831. And my boss noticed that also

  832. And I said

  833. Excellent is perfect

  834. But his attitude was

  835. Bang the bag on the table

  836. So I just changed it because

  837. It was a different thing

  838. Your personality changes, folks

  839. As Christ is in you

  840. Chris talks about

  841. Other examples where it tells us

  842. People will call us, she picks up the phone and they

  843. Rant and rave and use sometimes foul words

  844. And before

  845. She never respond before she

  846. Cry and stuff like that

  847. Now even the crying is done

  848. Because it's like Teflon

  849. Not because she's grown harder

  850. But the person inside her is softer

  851. She can handle it

  852. And these are all connected folks

  853. Criticalness, fault finding

  854. Rudeness, anger

  855. They all connect

  856. At the end of the day it's a preference

  857. And it's only a preference if I

  858. Want to become like the one who

  859. I keep talking about

  860. Show me the

  861. I mean like

  862. George

  863. Bush the first said

  864. Where's the beef

  865. Ariok

  866. I'll sum it all up in the end

  867. Ariok

  868. Ariok is lion like

  869. The meaning of Ariok

  870. Is lion like

  871. Lion like

  872. Lion like

  873. Ariok was another king

  874. Lion like

  875. What this means

  876. Is

  877. It is possible

  878. As believers to displace

  879. The lion of Judah with the defeated

  880. Lion like foe

  881. Seeing his footprints in all things

  882. Instead of the hand of God in all things

  883. Let me say that again

  884. It is possible especially for charismatic

  885. Evangelical Christians

  886. To displace the lion of Judah

  887. With the lion like

  888. Enemy that we have called Satan

  889. Where we begin to see

  890. In all things the footprints

  891. Of the devil instead of seeing

  892. In all things the hands of

  893. God

  894. I mean

  895. I know this was my condition

  896. Where I would see the work

  897. Of the enemy more clearly

  898. Than I would see the work of God

  899. And it would be

  900. Based on perhaps one

  901. Experience with the demonic

  902. Or perhaps a deliverance session

  903. Or perhaps even a school I attended

  904. And so everything I do now

  905. Would be based simply

  906. On experiential

  907. Knowledge that I have

  908. And so in everything I would see more the hand

  909. Of the enemy than the hand of

  910. God

  911. The problem with that is

  912. As soon as you begin to see

  913. The hand of the enemy as

  914. More evident than the hand of God

  915. You will do what Jesus said

  916. In Luke I think

  917. He said

  918. If you see a king who is stronger

  919. Than you coming against you

  920. If you have 10,000 troops

  921. And a king coming against you has 20,000 troops

  922. What will you do? You will send out

  923. An emissary to meet him

  924. So that you can establish a

  925. Treaty with him

  926. Hezekiah did it

  927. In Isaiah 42 or

  928. Somewhere. What he did was

  929. He heard that a king was coming against him

  930. So he sends the king a letter saying

  931. What will it take for me to come into

  932. A treaty with you? And he pulls out

  933. Of his treasury the temple

  934. Articles to send to the king

  935. Why? Because now you are beginning

  936. To see the footprints of the

  937. Enemy more than the hand of God

  938. Sorry?

  939. Yeah

  940. Saul wouldn't handle Goliath

  941. Until David came along

  942. A king who sees a stronger enemy

  943. Will make peace long ways off

  944. It's in Luke 14, 32

  945. It's also 2 Kings 18, 14

  946. Please understand that Satan

  947. Is defeated and disarmed

  948. But he is able to

  949. Deceive. So what I have to be

  950. Able to do is be sober and vigilant

  951. Folks. Let me say it again

  952. Satan is deceived

  953. Satan is disarmed and defeated

  954. But he can deceive

  955. Me. So what

  956. I and you have to do

  957. Is to make sure that we are sober

  958. And vigilant but not hyper aware

  959. Sober and vigilant

  960. Like I said 2 weeks ago

  961. Ecclesiastes 10, 8 says

  962. If you break the hedge

  963. A serpent will bite you. Meaning

  964. If you break the boundaries

  965. If you break the walls that you should

  966. Stay within and then go

  967. A serpent will bite you

  968. But if I don't transgress the

  969. Boundaries that I know I can operate

  970. Within then as long as

  971. I'm sober and vigilant I'm saying to us

  972. Folks that we do not need

  973. To watch out for the footprints of the enemy

  974. Because we'll see the hand of God

  975. Evident

  976. I was talking to

  977. Some people from the search

  978. And I was saying to them that purity

  979. Is what

  980. Intimidates Satan the most

  981. Purity

  982. Intimidates the devil most

  983. Your sanctified life is your

  984. Security

  985. A sanctified life is your security

  986. The more I decide that I will

  987. Be pure the less the enemy

  988. Has any hold upon my life

  989. Purity intimidates the enemy

  990. It's the easiest way

  991. Always turn it up a notch

  992. Who was the genius that was about trying to make peace with?

  993. It's in

  994. Isaiah

  995. Sorry, it's in 2 Kings 18

    2 Kings 18:14

  996. Verse 14

  997. Oh no, no, it's not

  998. It's in

  999. Ah shucks, I don't know where it is

  1000. I don't know

  1001. But he does it

  1002. I don't remember, it's in Isaiah

  1003. I don't know, it's in Isaiah

  1004. Questions, comments, disagreements

1005. As long as we do not break the hedge

1006. A serpent will not bite us

1007. My purity intimidates the enemy

1008. Satan is defeated and disarmed

  1009. But he can deceive

1010. Therefore Jacob as it says in 1 Peter 5

1011. 8 be sober and vigilant

1012. But do not be hyper aware

1013. The more I see the footprints of Satan

  1014. In things around me

1015. The more I will choose

  1016. To not step into

  1017. Not take

  1018. Not shoot three times

1019. Not take, not shoot three arrows

  1020. Not put my hand

1021. And take by both horns

  1022. That which is mine

  1023. Because

1024. Once I begin to see Satan

  1025. In things around me

1026. I suddenly realize that the enemy is stronger

1027. One of the biggest changes in my life

1028. Over the last three years

1029. Is that I see the hand of God more than the enemy

1030. Question, does that make sense?

  1031. Second Kings 13, 17

1032. The Kings name was Aram

  1033. A-R-A-M

  1034. That story about Hezekiah

  1035. Second Kings 13, 17

  1036. The next one

1037. The next Kings name was Long

  1038. His name was Chador

  1039. Chador or Chador

  1040. Chador, Chador

  1041. Chador or Chador

  1042. Laomer

  1043. And it means

  1044. A

  1045. Handful

  1046. Of sheaves

  1047. A handful

  1048. Of sheaves

  1049. A handful of sheaves

  1050. A handful of sheaves

  1051. S-H-E-A-V-E-S

  1052. Chador, Laomer

  1053. A handful of sheaves

  1054. This King represents

  1055. A poverty mentality

  1056. A handful of sheaves

  1057. Just whatever he does

  1058. There's only a handful of sheaves

  1059. There's not much

1060. It represents a poverty mentality

  1061. A poverty mentality

  1062. A poverty mentality

  1063. And there's a

  1064. Some of the

  1065. Guys who

  1066. Tried explaining this name

  1067. Say that

1068. There's a generational sense to this name

1069. So it might be a name

  1070. That came down generations

  1071. So it's a poverty mentality

1072. And it carries a generational sense

  1073. Chador, Laomer means

  1074. A handful of sheaves

1075. And it basically portrays a poverty mentality

1076. And it may be something

1077. That carries a generational sense

1078. And the strange thing is

  1079. It was Chador, Laomer

1080. Who actually led the other Kings

  1081. I found that fascinating

1082. That this is the King who led the others

  1083. Which then shows

  1084. That there's power

1085. In this character if it begins

1086. To wield in my life

  1087. I would think that

1088. These bunch of guys should be led by Arioc

  1089. Who's lion like

1090. Who are one of those other guys

1091. But his name is a handful of

1092. Sheaves which carries a sense

  1093. Of either mediocrity or

  1094. A poverty mentality really

1095. He's the one who led all these Kings into battle

  1096. So if this

1097. Begins to show in my life

1098. It begins to have tremendous

1099. Power and let me explain

  1100. What it is

1101. When this character comes up in my life

  1102. And it has force

1103. This was a very strong nature that I had

  1104. Not when I became a Christian

  1105. Years after I became a Christian

1106. This was one of the things that I

1107. Had to battle against most

1108. What it will be characterized with is

  1109. Low sight

1110. As in you won't aim high

  1111. It will always be

  1112. Low

  1113. Low sight

  1114. I believe there's some kind of a deer

  1115. In Africa

  1116. It's a variation of a deer

1117. And the way they capture it is fascinating

1118. It can leap 30 feet

  1119. And I know I'm exaggerating

1120. But 6 feet in the air kind of a thing

1121. But somehow if you put a fence

1122. At the eye level of this deer

  1123. This deer can't jump

1124. Because as long as it sees the fence

1125. It is incapable of jumping

1126. But if you take away the fence it will go

1127. It will go like crazy man

1128. It can jump over a 2 feet 3 feet

1129. Fence easily but because the fence

1130. Is at eye level something happens

1131. In its mind so how farmers

1132. Catch this animal is when they see the animal

  1133. They somehow put a

1134. Drive it into an enclosure

1135. And once they drive it into the enclosure

1136. They know it's caught even though it's fully capable

  1137. Of scaling it

  1138. Low sight

  1139. Mediocrity

1140. Folks I want to say that this is not

1141. A poverty mentality is not about

  1142. Money

1143. It's not about being poor

1144. It's not about how much money I have or how much money I don't have

  1145. It's a mentality, it's a mindset

  1146. It's a way of thinking

  1147. Low sight, mediocrity

  1148. Inability to receive

  1149. Hoarding

  1150. In lack

  1151. And in plenty

1152. Hoarding in lack and in plenty

1153. Hoarding in lack and in plenty

  1154. Money driven

  1155. And I would say

1156. I would say this very respectfully

1157. I suggest to you that

  1158. Most people who are

  1159. Adherents of prosperity preaching

  1160. Have this problem

  1161. Strange right?

  1162. Prosperity preaching which is

1163. Supposed to make you rich

1164. Most of the adherents have

  1165. This mentality and I

  1166. Know I'm making a very generic

  1167. Statement and that may

1168. Not be completely fair but I'd like to suggest that

  1169. Money driven

  1170. Prosperity adherents

  1171. Despising the Joneses

  1172. I'll explain that

  1173. Despising the Joneses

1174. I'm not talking about Joan, I'm talking about the Joneses

1175. So let me explain this

1176. Folks, when I have a poverty mentality

1177. One of the things that may happen to me

1178. Is my sight is set low

1179. My sight may move now from

1180. I have a two bedroom, tiny two bedroom apartment

1181. Oh I wish I had a three bedroom apartment

  1182. That would be

  1183. The ultimate

1184. My sights are very low

1185. Oh I have this job, I have this job

1186. I have this job, I have this job

1187. I have this job, I have this job

1188. I have this job, I have this job

1189. My sights are very low, oh I have this job

1190. I wish I could get eight dollars more

1191. Your sights are super low

1192. It does not expand like

1193. God would have you expand

1194. There's nothing wrong with a one bedroom

  1195. Apartment, there's nothing wrong with a

  1196. Five dollar job

1197. But that's not the point, the point is my sights suddenly

  1198. Become set low

1199. It's not about money folks

  1200. Secondly

1201. Mediocrity, I will settle for things

  1202. That are good enough

  1203. I don't have to

  1204. Do well

1205. With the gifts and the talents I've been given

  1206. I'll settle with doing

  1207. Mediocally well

  1208. That's good enough

1209. I'll put in my eight hours, I'll do what is required

1210. I have no desire to overdo it

1211. Overdo is a word that's not in my dictionary

  1212. Thirdly

  1213. Inability to receive

1214. I've met people who are super rich

1215. Who do not know how to receive

1216. Just don't know how to receive

1217. They know how to give but they do not know how to receive

  1218. Surprisingly that's poverty mentality

1219. Holding in lack and in plenty

1220. Doesn't matter whether you've got tons of money or little money

  1221. You'll hold it

  1222. I knew a man who supplies

  1223. The cloth

1224. To all the stores in India

  1225. In Vancouver

1226. And lives in North Phan

1227. And has tons and tons of buildings

  1228. But you know

1229. Every three months he'll go and order one of these

1230. Water coolers from different companies

1231. Because they all give you a three month test run

1232. That's how he got all his buildings

  1233. You see

1234. At the end of three months

  1235. He will return

1236. So that he can now go to another company

1237. When people come to visit him

1238. In his office he had one table and one chair

1239. So he would pull out

  1240. The last

  1241. Seat from his van

1242. And put it in his office for people to sit

1243. I'm not mentioning any names

1244. You see what I'm saying is

  1245. Pardon

1246. Holding in lack and in plenty

1247. This is a poverty mentality

1248. He has tons of money

1249. He's one of the wealthiest persons

1250. I've met in this part of the world

  1251. Money driven

1252. Suddenly everything you do is driven by

  1253. The need to

  1254. Money

  1255. Prosperity adherence

1256. These are the people who I would suggest to you

  1257. Are prosperity adherence

  1258. I won't explain that much more

1259. This is an odd thing about poverty mentality

1260. What happens is you have some kind of

  1261. Dislike towards anyone

  1262. Who is doing well

1263. You're not happy at someone else's prosperity

  1264. It's an odd thing

1265. You go into a house of someone who's doing well

  1266. And you'll say

1267. These people are not godly, look at the house

1268. Or you see someone who's got a

  1269. Good car

1270. And boy, that money could have been given to the poor

1271. Judas thought like this too

  1272. It's a poverty mentality folks

1273. Can't find it in scripture

1274. It's one of those pet phrases

1275. Do your best and god will do the rest

1276. That's also not in scripture

1277. God will shut one door

1278. And open the other door

  1279. Not in scripture

1280. Yeah, could be son of a bitch

  1281. I'm not saying that

  1282. I'm not saying that

  1283. I'm not saying that

1284. Yeah, could be son of music

  1285. Yeah

1286. Folks, the emphasis is on

1287. Poverty mentality, not on the amount of money

  1288. What happens is

  1289. When I have a poverty mentality

  1290. I project my lack

  1291. Or my want

1292. As the primary competing concern

  1293. Over god

1294. Everything now is this thing

  1295. Of lack or want

1296. That becomes the primary competing

  1297. Concern

1298. That always comes ahead of god

  1299. And when the priest

1300. Chases after an inheritance here on earth

1301. Forgetting that his portion is due

1302. From god, he misses out on the wine

1303. Oil and grain reserved for him

1304. Go to Numbers chapter 18

    Numbers 18 chapter mention

  1305. Numbers 18, verse 20

    Numbers 18:20

  1306. And 12

  1307. Numbers 18, verse 20 and 12

    Numbers 18:20

  1308. Numbers 18, verse 20

    Numbers 18:20

  1309. Numbers 18, verse 20

    Numbers 18:20

  1310. Numbers 18, verse 20

    Numbers 18:20

  1311. Numbers 18, verse 20

    Numbers 18:20

1312. And here's what it says

1313. The lord said to Aaron

1314. You will have no inheritance in their land

1315. Nor will you have any share among them

1316. I am your share and your inheritance

  1317. Among the Israelites

  1318. Now go to Numbers 18, 12

1319. I give you all the finest olive oil

1320. And the finest new wine and grain

1321. That they give the lord

1322. As the first fruit of the earth

1323. That they give the lord as the first fruit of their harvest

1324. What god is saying is

1325. Guys, you are priests who are serving me

1326. Know this that you have no inheritance here on earth

1327. I am your inheritance and your portion

1328. And because I am your inheritance and portion

1329. I will supply you new grain, oil and wine

1330. It is vital that this be broken off our lives folks

1331. Because as long as this is there

1332. It's almost impossible to come out

  1333. And live a lifestyle that's different

  1334. Impossible

  1335. I remember

1336. In one of the things spoken over my life

1337. One of the things that was said from Isaiah 49

  1338. Was

1339. Your reward is from me

1340. And what is due you will come from me

1341. And the moment I heard that

  1342. I realized that

  1343. Oh shucks

  1344. God owes me dues

1345. And when he wants he will either give it to me as a lump sum

1346. Or he will put it in my bank every month

1347. And so I don't need to worry anymore

  1348. Because if god says

1349. That your reward is from me

1350. And your dues will come from me

  1351. I realize shucks

1352. Don't need to worry anymore

  1353. Yeah

1354. It's a completely different way of living

  1355. So

1356. You can walk around with her if you want

  1357. Yeah

  1358. Yeah

  1359. Yeah

  1360. Did all this

1361. Come just from the meaning of the name

1362. Or did that king have traits that

  1363. No

1364. No, chedro lamor means a handful of sheaves

1365. And a handful of sheaves means

  1366. Very little

1367. It's like god consciously says you've collected a lot

1368. But there's nothing in your hands

1369. You harvest but there's nothing

  1370. It's a mindset

1371. Or a place of abject lack

1372. Settling for a handful of sheaves

1373. Settling for a handful of sheaves

  1374. Understood but

1375. This is quite involved in

1376. Stuff so is that coming just from his name

1377. Or was that king did he like

  1378. Steal things or

1379. Nope, nope, it's coming from his name

1380. He must have been a rich man

1381. So there's no sort of behaviors that he did

  1382. Historically

1383. That I would know of

  1384. I wouldn't

1385. So we're just going on with the meaning of the name

1386. And remember in the Old Testament

  1387. The Old Testament

  1388. Is again a parable

1389. That we are supposed to use in the New Testament

1390. Everything in the Old Testament

1391. Is a story or parable that we derive

1392. Out in the New Testament

1393. Therefore names in the Old Testament

  1394. Are super revealing

  1395. Super revealing

1396. It just seems strange that whoever named that guy

1397. It just seems strange that whoever named that guy

1398. Like he was a king so he must have come from rich families

1399. So why would they name him

  1400. Crazy, don't know

1401. And the other thing is sometimes

1402. A name that would be given by the

  1403. Hebrews to kings

1404. Would perhaps portray the character more than the original name

  1405. Because at the end

1406. This might not have been his actual name

1407. Just what the Hebrews had called him

1408. No, we don't know, I'm saying like

1409. When we come to the word Sodom we'll see that too

  1410. There's a

  1411. Hebrew equivalent of

1412. The name and there is a

  1413. Canaanite or

1414. Indian equivalent of that name so

1415. We'll come to that later

1416. Guys, when priests chase after

1417. An inheritance here on earth

1418. Forgetting that their portion is due from God

1419. You miss out on the wine, oil and grain

  1420. Reserved for you

1421. When kings run after what pagan

1422. Nations are pursuing, instead of pursuing

1423. The kingdom they end up chasing things

1424. That would be added to them, this is so sad

  1425. Just hear this, okay

1426. If I run after the things of the

  1427. World

1428. Instead of running after the kingdom

1429. You know what I'm really running after

1430. I'm running after the things that God said I will add to you

  1431. What a shame, eh

  1432. God said

  1433. Ryan, seek my

1434. Rule and reign and all these

  1435. Things will be added

1436. To you and here is

  1437. Ryan, here is

  1438. Jacob running after

  1439. The things

1440. That are supposed to be added

1441. To me, I'm running after them

1442. That I would get anyways

1443. If I just lived out my life

1444. As a king, seeking the kingdom

  1445. So simple, man

1446. This guy is like a subtle

  1447. Manipulator, you get guys

1448. On to the prize that you

1449. Would have gotten, man, anyways

  1450. True

  1451. So it's vital to

  1452. Wield contentment

1453. With godliness, with the riches and glory

1454. In Christ, knowing your place, folks

1455. It will all come together, it's got nothing to do with money

1456. It's got to do with a mentality or a mindset

  1457. Strange thing is

  1458. Abraham, after

1459. Beating this king, he has a lot

1460. Of spoils and he gives

  1461. 10% to Melchizedek

1462. And he gives the rest to the guys who came with him

  1463. And he doesn't take a cent

  1464. And yet, he becomes

1465. The richest man in the land

  1466. Doesn't take a cent

1467. Gives 10% to Melchizedek, gives the rest away

1468. And he comes out the richest

  1469. It's an upside down

1470. Kingdom we live in, folks

1471. But the principles once they settle

  1472. I'm telling you, man

  1473. You will never have

1474. I'm saying to you, as we begin to connect

1475. With this house, as we begin to connect with

1476. The set man in this house

1477. Meaning Muaq, as we begin to connect

  1478. With principles

1479. As we begin to connect with

1480. Who we are as priests and kings

1481. You will find an increase in assets and

  1482. Substance in this house

1483. I'm not talking about this house having assets and substance

  1484. I'm saying we

1485. As people having assets and substance

1486. I guarantee you this on the

1487. On the strength of the word of God

1488. Because that is always a pattern

  1489. Always a pattern

1490. And the strange thing is, as assets and

1491. Substance come into this house, you will find

1492. That we will become the best

1493. Givers we have ever been

1494. You should be the best

1495. Giver you have ever known

1496. I should be the best giver I have ever known

1497. But it is vital that

1498. You connect to this house

1499. Why? Because that grace is going to come upon this house

1500. I'm just saying it to you

1501. If you want to receive it as a prophetic

  1502. Word, please do

  1503. Questions, comments

1504. This king was the guy who led everybody else, strangely

  1505. Questions, comments

  1506. Agreements, disagreements

  1507. Challenges

  1508. Go ahead

1509. Okay, when I say low sights

  1510. I mean not expecting

1511. Not expecting anything in my life to change

1512. In terms of God interventions

  1513. Where

1514. This is who I am

1515. This is what I am, this is what I will be

  1516. And immediately

1517. I cut myself off from what else

  1518. God can do

1519. If I were to go with

  1520. My qualifications

1521. Then I would be very limited

1522. I did a Masters in political science

1523. I did not complete my Bible school

  1524. And

  1525. Yeah

  1526. And so

1527. In that sense it would be very limited

  1528. But there is no

  1529. There is no limit

1530. To what God can do

  1531. With my two

  1532. Fish and five loaves

1533. But when I set my eyes low

  1534. I've met

1535. I've met people who have come to this church

1536. Who did not see themselves

1537. As anything more than what they are at present

1538. And what they are at present was not even a shadow

  1539. Of what they

  1540. Could be

1541. And when I prophesied over them

  1542. They still

1543. When I met the person about two months ago

1544. The person was still refusing to see

1545. It the way God was seeing it

  1546. God was saying

1547. You will be this, this, this and this

1548. And the person said no I don't think so

  1549. I don't see myself like that

  1550. So

  1551. That's what I mean by

  1552. Setting my eyes low

  1553. Yeah

  1554. I mean

1555. The person is setting his sights high

1556. And this manipulated guy is going to get

1557. No I set my eyes high

1558. On the star that God wants me

1559. To hitch my wagon to

  1560. No no no

1561. I set my eyes high on

1562. Like Paul says I set my

  1563. I set

1564. I grab that with God is grabbing

1565. A hold of me for

1566. So I set my eyes on the finished work

1567. That God is showing me

1568. Not trying to create my own finished work

1569. But the finished work that he is

  1570. Showing me

1571. Is that like degree in secular

  1572. Political science?

  1573. Master?

  1574. If you weren't

1575. Doing a church thing like this

1576. You'd be like looping with the elections

1577. And that kind of thing

1578. No most political science students

  1579. End up as

  1580. Being in civil services

  1581. Or

1582. Doing some research for some guy who wants to

1583. Know political stuff or they end up teaching

1584. And if they're not good for any of these

  1585. They become pastors

1586. Moving on to the fourth king

1587. The fourth king is title

  1588. T-I-D-A-L

  1589. And it's not a detergent

  1590. Title means

1591. King of a foreign race

  1592. Title means

1593. King of a foreign race

1594. King of a foreign race

  1595. Title means

  1596. King of

  1597. A foreign

  1598. Race

  1599. Race or nation

  1600. That's what it means.

1601. Folks, the intent of this king is very simple.

1602. We've talked about this at length for four weeks in the past.

1603. The intent of this king is he's a ruler who wants us to make, wants to make us subjects

  1604. of Babylon.

1605. He's a ruler who wants to make us subjects of Babylon and we talked about Babylon for

1606. four weeks about four months ago, three months ago.

1607. He's a ruler whose intent on making me a subject of Babylon.

1608. A system that is God opposing in lifestyle, in conduct, in code, in morality, in principles,

  1609. in objectives.

1610. Babylon is a God opposing system and the intent of Tidal is always to make me a subject of

  1611. the system called Babylon.

1612. How does he do it?

1613. Very simple folks and this is so pertinent to our lives and to Christianity as a whole.

1614. He does it one through affecting my sexual standards.

1615. He affects my sexual standards.

1616. What I mean by that is he tries to affect my sexual standards and by that I mean trying

1617. to lower my tolerance for what is moral and pure and what is not.

1618. It is a well-known fact that if you go to different parts of the world and you ask them

1619. what is moral and what is pure in terms of sexuality and what can be seen, what can be

1620. practiced, what can be viewed, you will find that the standards are much lower than what

  1621. they should be.

1622. It is the easiest way to turn me or conform me to the system of Babylon because Babylon

1623. thrives on idolatry, false religion and sex.

1624. These were three of the things that Babylon was known for.

  1625. Idolatry and sex.

1626. It affects my sexual standards particularly in terms of what bombards my senses and so

1627. I lower my standards and as I lower my standards I break the wall or the hedge and now the

1628. serpent can bite me because my purity does not intimidate the enemy anymore.

1629. The enemy can now intimidate my purity because I am letting it go.

1630. Please remember that you are a priest first and then a king.

1631. If your priesthood is taken away, your kingship is undone.

1632. We talked about this many weeks ago that your kingship is built on your priesthood and a

1633. priest is called to be holy.

1634. If you take away my priesthood then it is pointless trying to live here as a king.

1635. We never hear Christians shouting, oh hallelujah we are priests.

1636. No, we always hear people shouting hallelujah we are kings.

1637. But the first thing that we have to shout hallelujah about is that we are priests first

1638. and it is on our priesthood that kingship is built.

1639. And just like in the UK if you are a priest you are a king.

1640. If you are a priest you are a king.

1641. If you are a priest you are a king.

1642. And just like in the UK if royalty marries commoners, a commoner, then the royalty is

  1643. no longer royal.

1644. He does not have right to the throne.

1645. That happened to some prince.

  1646. I don't remember which one.

1647. It is the same way.

1648. The second way that title tries to affect me is it tries to affect me through power

  1649. and pride using recognition.

1650. That too affects me through power using recognition among people.

1651. Because once that happens pride kicks in.

1652. That is the second way I am affected by it.

1653. One of the philosophies of Babylon is make a name for yourself.

1654. That is the philosophy of Babylon.

1655. Make a name for yourself at any cost.

1656. And so one of the ways title affects Christians and completely destroys their ability to live

1657. as priest kings is that they give a person a sense of power or a sense of upstanding

1658. based on how you are recognized by the world or by your peers.

1659. Once it becomes insidious what happens is you are undone.

1660. Acts 29 has to be careful about it because we are doing well.

1661. Jacob has to be careful about it because recognition will come.

1662. And when that happens it will test you.

1663. The message puts it this way.

1664. 15 minutes of fame will test who you really are.

1665. One of the things we have to learn to do and I was thinking of it just yesterday is

1666. whenever we do a job well and it is really good and people are telling you it is good

1667. and you know you have done a good job immediately let go of it.

  1668. Don't favor it.

1669. Someone told me this years ago but I still haven't.

1670. It is not my reflex now.

1671. It is still something I have to practice.

1672. I was at a place yesterday where I had to MC and do worship and I did a brilliant job.

1673. And I know absolutely no modesty.

1674. And people came up and said great Jacob, great Jacob.

1675. And I realized that when I went home every now and then I would recall how well it went.

1676. I would think of some of the really smart puns that I came up with right at the moment.

1677. And I found myself savoring it again and again and again.

1678. And suddenly out of the blue I remember this pastor telling me Jacob,

1679. once you do something and it is good, let go of it.

1680. Do not go back and taste it.

  1681. Yeah, don't do it.

  1682. Don't do it.

1683. It is the same as when you sin, you walk away right?

  1684. Yeah.

1685. It should be the same.

1686. Same with, because at the end of the day amazing grace,

1687. how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me.

1688. I am not saying look at yourself as a wretch,

1689. but understand that everything in my life is sheer grace.

  1690. Sheer grace.

  1691. Don't regurgitate your success.

1692. Don't regurgitate your success, especially when you want to savor it.

1693. Because anything that comes back into your mouth from your stomach,

1694. as tasty as you think it is, it is not.

1695. Hey, that was a revelation Lord.

1696. The third way I am affected by Psydolin is intense godliness,

1697. denying any power, which is another way of defining legalism.

1698. Like I said, Babylon loves religion.

  1699. Babylon loves religion.

1700. And if Babylon can influence the church where the church gets religious,

1701. where it gets intensely godly, but denies power,

  1702. then Babylon has entered.

1703. Which is why all these teachings,

1704. if they do not become tangible reality in our lives in terms of living as priests and kings,

1705. then I am saying do not come next week.

  1706. Do not come.

1707. Because this is not the right place to come if this is all just theory.

1708. We see that in 2 Timothy 3.5.

1709. Paul is writing to Timothy and he says,

1710. You will meet tons of people Timothy who will be very godly,

1711. but their godliness will deny the actual power of God.

1712. They will just be godly, but there will be no power showing.

1713. That is another way that tidal affects us.

1714. Legalism, where I will say, Matt, this is not the holy way to sit.

1715. Please put your feet down.

1716. And that becomes intense godliness.

1717. But what did I achieve through it?

1718. It was a show of godliness, but there was nothing in it.

1719. So he sits like that, it doesn't make him any more reverent.

  1720. Nothing happens.

1721. You find it in so many...

1722. I mean I have been in churches where that is the way it is.

1723. I was at a meeting a while ago with the other people in Kosovo,

1724. and in the middle of worship and stuff,

1725. there was really like Christian and holy and reverent and godly,

1726. but I have to say that there is no sort of power there.

1727. So is that sort of the same thing that they keep them...

1728. they are actually doing the right thing,

1729. but there was no manifesting, their lives weren't changing.

1730. Yeah, yeah. It has to come back to life.

1731. When I say power, I don't mean supernatural stuff,

1732. as in people falling and all that stuff.

1733. I am talking about my life should begin to display Christ.

1734. You should begin to see more and more of the nature and the person

1735. and the stature of Christ in me.

1736. Not necessarily that if I touch someone, someone falls.

1737. Not necessarily that lightning comes inside the room,

1738. but that when you walk, people know,

1739. here goes someone and here is a church

1740. that is growing into the fullness of Christ.

  1741. That whole song.

1742. We come not in our name, we come not in our fame,

1743. we come not to chase after riches, but to live lives

1744. that will accurately represent the full stature of who Christ is,

1745. what he looked like when he walked the earth.

1746. So how would you get this group of believers,

1747. their hearts are in the right place, they are doing everything Christian,

1748. but there is no life changing walk on water?

1749. I would say any supernatural manifestation that does not change you

1750. is just manifestation and I don't know whether it even comes from the Spirit of God always.

1751. Folks, the last thing that I want to touch on before we leave is

1752. there was another king that did not have to be overcome,

  1753. but that met Abraham.

1754. He was the king of Sodom.

1755. Abraham did not have to conquer him,

1756. but after he conquers as he is coming,

1757. there is this king called the king of Sodom

1758. and the king of Sodom comes up to him

1759. and he comes as a friend.

1760. He comes as a friend.

1761. It is almost like Joshua 9, verse 7,

    Joshua 9:7

1762. where there was a nation called the Gibeonites.

1763. They put on old clothes and they brought moldy bread

1764. and they came to Joshua saying,

1765. we are coming from a far off nation,

1766. we want to make a treaty with you.

1767. And they made a treaty with Joshua

1768. so Joshua could never touch them after that.

1769. It was called the Gibeonite deception.

1770. And Sodom, king of Sodom comes like that.

1771. And the word Sodom would normally mean burning or scorching,

1772. but I would suggest to you that the actual meaning

1773. based on how the Hebrew phonetics is written,

1774. how the Hebrew phonetics spells it,

1775. is Sodom is secret or hidden?

  1776. Or hidden?

  1777. Secret or hidden?

  1778. Secret or hidden?

  1779. Pardon?

1780. Yeah, it literally is secret and hidden

  1781. and inflamed from within.

  1782. You don't see it.

  1783. Secret or hidden.

  1784. That's what it means.

1785. So many dictionaries will just say scorching or burn,

  1786. but I'd suggest that it's, not I'd suggest,

1787. based on what I've been finding out,

  1788. it's secret or hidden.

  1789. That's what it means.

1790. So along comes the king of Sodom

1791. and he is not conquered by Abraham.

1792. He's the fifth king who's exposed by Abraham

  1793. and he's set aside.

1794. He comes not as a foe,

  1795. but as a friend who's grateful.

1796. And the sense of his name is he,

1797. if you allow him into your life,

1798. he establishes a foundation in you

1799. which is hidden under the ground

1800. and will inflame in time.

1801. It's a foundation that enters your life

1802. which is hidden, but will inflame when the time is right.

  1803. That's what it means.

  1804. The king of Sodom,

1805. if I allow the king of Sodom into my life,

1806. what will happen is he will enter my life

1807. and then get into my life

1808. and at the right time he'll begin to be hidden

1809. and then he'll come out like this.

1810. Now that I've explained that properly,

1811. just had to do that.

1812. I felt like doing that.

  1813. Sorry, Sue.

1814. So notice that he comes not as a foe,

1815. but as one who is grateful.

1816. And then once the foundation is penetrated,

  1817. it's like a frozen horse,

  1818. it inflames in time.

1819. One of the ways this happens in your lives and mine,

1820. this is just one of the ways we've talked about

1821. and then I'll talk about the final way,

1822. is that defective alliances with people,

  1823. with set men, with...
