  1. So, guys one of the things we don't want to do, which is what I think most of the world does with this whole concept of Zion,

  2. is they reminisce about Zion sitting by the rivers of Babylon.

  3. Remember that Bonium song, all those guys here who are above 35,

  4. by the rivers of Babylon.

  5. I mean I thought that was a really cool godly song, but basically it's a very sad song, man.

  6. They're sitting by the river Babylon and reminiscing of the good times and the songs of Zion.

  7. We're not called to reminisce about Zion, we're supposed to live in Zion.

  8. Psalm 137, one talks about the rivers of Babylon.

  9. We don't want to sit by the rivers of Babylon to reminisce about Zion.

  10. So, eyes to see, let's start there.

  11. See, a growing child needs to grasp what his or her parents see about the child.

  12. So, what I mean is, let's take James and Sapna as an example.

  13. Right now Sarah can come up and do her little boogie-boo dance here and shout and stuff like that.

  14. But there are dreams and there are ways that James and Sapna see her.

  15. And when Sarah begins to grasp what James sees for her in the future,

  16. when Sarah begins to grasp what Sapna sees for her in the future,

  17. and we are praying that Sapna and James will grasp what God sees about her so that they can transfer it,

  18. once a child begins to grasp what the parent sees, the child can then begin to shape and become that.

  19. It's the same way, God is fine with us understanding that we are the temple of the Holy Spirit.

  20. God is happy that we understand that we are a community that is built by the Holy Spirit.

  21. God is glad that we've understood that Christ lives in us.

  22. But now God wants us to go to a place where we move from adolescence to maturity

  23. to see ourselves as a Zion people because Zion was something that God has been talking about from the beginning, man.

  24. Before anything called born again, before anything called Israel happened, Zion happened.

  25. Zion actually existed even before the world was created.

  26. The concept of Zion, we'll talk about it, you can switch it off now, man.

  27. So, it's only if we as children begin to grasp what the father wants us to see

  28. that we'll be able to be shaped into that mold.

  29. For example, if you look at Israel, Israel saw themselves as the chosen ones, right?

  30. But guess what? Israel never saw themselves as a son.

  31. Israel never saw themselves as a kingdom of priests.

  32. What a sad thing, eh?

  33. They got stuck at seeing themselves as the chosen ones.

  34. In fact, today the Jewish nation still sees itself as the chosen ones

  35. and have forgotten that there's a destiny greater than just being chosen.

  36. They're supposed to see themselves as son.

  37. God said that about them, Israel my son, Israel my son.

  38. But they never saw themselves as sons, man.

  39. They only saw themselves as chosen.

  40. They never saw themselves as a kingdom of priests.

  41. In Exodus 19 or so, God says, you are a kingdom of priests.

  42. You're my model nation to show the nations of the world what it is to belong to a nation of whom God is president.

  43. But they missed out, man.

  44. They went and told Samuel, we want a king like the other nations.

  45. You see, that can happen to us.

  46. Where we see ourselves as chosen, we see ourselves as heaven bound,

  47. we see ourselves as the temple of the Holy Spirit,

  48. but we forget that there is another phase that God wants us to see ourselves as,

  49. which is, he wants us to see ourselves as Zion.

  50. We'll talk about what Zion is, but you understand why we need to see with eyes that will begin to move us from adolescence to maturity.

  51. Because still the church here on earth does not see herself as Zion.

  52. She's missing out.

  53. She is missing out.

  54. So Zion is a theme that runs throughout the Bible like a thread that just goes continuously, man.

  55. You'll see it from Deuteronomy 4.48.

  56. That's when Zion is mentioned first.

  57. Deuteronomy 4.48 is when Zion is mentioned first.

  58. And then you see Zion mentioned in Revelation 14.1.

  59. And in Revelation 14.1 says that along with the lamb, 144,000 people stood on Mount Zion.

  60. That's how Revelation 14.1 talks about Zion.

  61. And in Deuteronomy 4.48 it says that near this place called Aror was a mountain called Zion.

  62. So Zion has been a theme that has been running consistently through the Bible.

  63. And it's called many different names, guys.

  64. Sometimes it's called the Holy Mountain.

  65. Sometimes it's called the City of God.

  66. Sometimes it's called the Mount of the Congregation.

  67. Sometimes it's called Jerusalem.

  68. Sometimes it's called the City of David.

  69. There are many different names for it.

  70. But these are just some of them.

  71. They're used interchangeably in the Bible.

  72. Some of the references you can find it in is Psalm 76, Psalm 48, Hebrews 12.

  73. You'll find these different terms used for it.

  74. Sometimes it's called God's Holy Mountain.

  75. Sometimes it's called City of God.

  76. Sometimes City of David.

  77. Sometimes the Mount of the Congregation or the Mount of Assembly.

  78. Sometimes Jerusalem and sometimes City of David.

  79. In Hebrews 12.22 it says,

  80. You have already come to Mount Zion, the City of the Living God, the New Jerusalem.

  81. And we talked about this ages ago.

  82. The concept of Zion was in the mind of God.

  83. Okay, we talked about this last week.

  84. What was Zion initially?

  85. Anyone remembers what Zion was initially?

  86. It was a fortress on a small hill.

  87. And it was a Jebusite stronghold.

  88. David comes, defeats the Jebusites, and suddenly this fortress on a small hill becomes his city.

  89. He calls it the City of David.

  90. And then he brings the Ark to this small hill.

  91. And now it becomes the mountain where the Ark of God or the presence of God dwells.

  92. And then David built his own palace and began to rule from there.

  93. And he began to call it the City of David.

  94. All these are names of the small hill.

  95. It's not a big majestic hill, which is why it's compared to a whole lot of bigger, more majestic hills.

  96. But it's a small hill.

  97. But guess what? Before God even created the topography of the small hill on this planet Earth,

  98. Satan knew about it.

  99. Satan knew about it.

  100. In fact, when Satan was being cast out of heaven, you know what he said?

  101. I want to sit on the mount of the congregation.

  102. You see it. Go to Isaiah, let me see where it is.

  103. Go to Isaiah 14, 13.

  104. Isaiah 14, 13.

  105. Isaiah 14, 13.

  106. Isaiah 14, verse 13.

    Isaiah 14:13

  107. Verse 13.

  108. These words are attributed to Lucifer speaking.

  109. It says that in Isaiah 14, 13,

  110. You said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven.

  111. I will raise my throne above the stars of God.

  112. I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain.

  113. So Satan knew of this concept called Zion even before the Earth was as such created,

  114. because Satan's fall happened before Adam and Eve entered Eden.

  115. So he was aware of this concept even before.

  116. Please remember that.

  117. That is how potent a thing Zion is.

  118. I don't want to call it a thing. We'll call it what it is a little later.

  119. That's how potent Zion is.

  120. That it was something that Satan wanted to take over right from the beginning,

  121. because he knew that it is out of there that ruling and dwelling will happen.

  122. Which is why as long as it stays hidden,

  123. he is in a sense getting indirectly what he always desired.

  124. God's concept of Zion never changed,

  125. but Israel and the church came to represent the very opposite of God's ideal.

  126. In fact, Zion became a place of desolation.

  127. And I would suggest to you that today either Zion is hidden,

  128. or the church which should become this thing called Zion is in desolation.

  129. If you go to Lamentations 2.6, Lamentations 2.6,

  130. Lamentations is after, what's it after? Lamentations is after Jeremiah.

  131. Just showing off, huh? Jeremiah. Lamentations 2.6.

  132. And it says there in Lamentations 2.6,

  133. But then there's this marvelous verse in Psalm 102.16.

  134. If you turn to Psalm 102.16, then we'll break for questions.

  135. Psalm 102.16 says,

  136. And here's what it says in Psalm 102.16.

  137. It says,

  138. See, God knows how it was made desolate,

  139. but God says, I will come and rebuild Zion,

  140. and when I rebuild Zion, my glory will be evident.

  141. My glory will be evident.

  142. So please understand that Zion today, I mean, we all know this.

  143. What is Zion today?

  144. Zion is a people, guys. We'll talk about it next.

  145. God is basically saying, I'm going to come and rebuild Zion, a people,

  146. so that I may manifest my glory through them.

  147. And guys, it's vital that we get with God's rebuilding program,

  148. because God so wants to rebuild Zion.

  149. I said Zion was a fortress, then it became David City,

  150. then it became a place where the Ark of God dwells.

  151. Today, where does God dwell?

  152. In a people.

  153. Previously, where the Ark was, was where Zion was.

  154. The Ark was placed in Zion.

  155. Zion was called the City of God,

  156. because God dwelt on this small mountain

  157. in what was symbolically represented as a box

  158. called the Ark which the priest would carry.

  159. Today, we're not any more symbolic.

  160. We have become that people.

  161. We are Zion, guys.

  162. We are the Ark.

  163. We are Zion.

  164. We are people have become Zion.

  165. It's us.

  166. And he's saying now that I want to rebuild Zion,

  167. meaning I want to put it back together

  168. the way it should be so that my glory can be manifested,

  169. so that it can appear.

  170. Wayne, I'm going to take a break for questions

  171. if you want to do whatever you want to do.

  172. So, questions.

  173. So, let me write it down.

  174. Zion is a people, not individuals.

  175. I am not Zion,

  176. but I am one who belongs to a people

  177. in whose midst God dwells.

  178. God dwells.

  179. So, let me say that again.

  180. Zion is a people, it's not individuals.

  181. Zion is a people and not individuals.

  182. I am not Zion,

  183. but I am one who belongs to a people in whose midst God dwells.

  184. It's an important distinction to make.

  185. You cannot be a maverick in Zion.

  186. Yeah, you cannot have a solitary living stone

  187. because that stone, regardless of how strong it is,

  188. is not living, it is dead.

  189. Zion is a people, not individuals.

  190. I am not Zion, but I am one who belongs to a people

  191. in whose midst God dwells.

  192. So, please understand that.

  193. So, please understand that.

  194. That if you want to be a Zion person,

  195. you have to belong to a Zion people.

  196. It's just like I cannot go and stand and say,

  197. I am Canada.

  198. No, no, no, no.

  199. I can only say I am Canadian

  200. because I belong to a nation called Canada.

  201. But if I go and say, I am Canada, they'll laugh.

  202. So, it's the same principle.

  203. And these people are marked by a unique culture,

  204. unique perspectives, unique benefits.

  205. Man, you have no idea of the benefits.

  206. Unique characteristics.

  207. These people are marked by a unique culture,

  208. unique perspectives,

  209. unique characteristics,

  210. and unique goals.

  211. Unique characteristics and unique benefits, man.

  212. When you check the benefits out, you'll say,

  213. this is the best place to live in.

  214. Just like they say Canada is the best country to live in,

  215. this Mount Zion is the best people to live on.

  216. And the strange thing is,

  217. when you go anywhere because you belong to this people,

  218. that culture, that perspective, those benefits

  219. follow you wherever you go.

  220. Just like if I were to go to Timbuktu or to Haiti,

  221. I would still have the benefits of my Canadian citizenship.

  222. It's the same way.

  223. But am I Canada? No.

  224. But do I belong to a people called Canada? Yes.

  225. And therefore the benefits that are given to the people of Canada

  226. are now mine wherever I go.

  227. It's the same principle.

  228. Can we break for questions?

  229. Am I good?

  230. Am I good?

  231. Okay, we're going to look at benefits in Zion, man.

  232. This will blow your mind.

  233. Benefits in Zion.

  234. The first thing we look at is protection.

  235. What kind of protection do these people of Zion have

  236. because God has made them

  237. his favorite, favorite, favorite dwelling place

  238. and is jealous over them

  239. and thinks that they are the best place to dwell in

  240. and he thinks that they are the place that he wants to rest.

  241. He feels most comfortable resting in their presence.

  242. You know, when I go and travel to India, for example,

  243. you can put me up in a really nice hotel

  244. or you can put me up in my friend Christy's place.

  245. Guess what?

  246. I'd really enjoy the hotel,

  247. but you know where I find real rest?

  248. At Christy's place.

  249. It's like that.

  250. God is saying you can be all you want to be,

  251. but you know what?

  252. Zion is my favorite resting place, Jacob.

  253. So be Zion so that I can really rest.

  254. It's that kind of a thing.

  255. So because God rests here,

  256. over Zion, I love this,

  257. over Zion, we're talking about protection now,

  258. God spreads a covering.

  259. Over Zion, God spreads a covering for defense,

  260. for defense,

  261. and it becomes a perpetual stronghold.

  262. It becomes a perpetual stronghold.

  263. Let's go to Isaiah 4.5.

  264. Isaiah 4.5.

  265. I had no idea we'd be talking about this

  266. when we chose Isaiah 4.5 as our theme for the year in January.

  267. Isaiah 4.5.

  268. This is delicious.

  269. Then the Lord will create over all of Mount Zion.

  270. Let me replace the word Mount Zion with people,

  271. the Zion people.

  272. Then the Lord will create over all of Zion people

  273. and over those who assemble there,

  274. a cloud of smoke by day and a glow of flaming fire by night.

  275. Over all the glory will be a canopy.

  276. It'll be a shelter and shade from the heat of the day

  277. and a refuge and hiding place from the storm and the rain.

  278. This is what is being given to us as a people.

  279. You suddenly realize that so many people

  280. you suddenly realize that so when you

  281. wherever you go this is over you because you are a Zion people.

  282. Suddenly you don't have to necessarily pray

  283. that the plane will stay in the air

  284. or that your car won't be broken into

  285. or that your house be safe

  286. or that you be pleaded over with the blood of Christ

  287. so that no demons attack you

  288. because the Zion people who understand, align, grasp

  289. and live out of that knowledge

  290. that God dwells amongst them

  291. always walk under this cloud

  292. of fire and smoke

  293. which is a shade over them

  294. come heat, rain, storm, whatever.

  295. It's a continuous place of existence guys.

  296. This is why I say if God actually turned up and said

  297. I want to live in your house

  298. trust me man you'll go to sleep with the door left open.

  299. You'll have your laptop sitting at your door

  300. you'll work on your laptop at the door.

  301. You'll put your 42 inch TV out in the corridor.

  302. Why? Because God lives in your house.

  303. Who the heck is going to touch that now?

  304. It's the same kind of principle.

  305. It's like the Knight Rider thing.

  306. Please step away from the car.

  307. Okay.

  308. I love this next one.

  309. It's from Isaiah 33.

  310. Dianak and I guess recited blind

  311. but Isaiah 33 and verse 20.

  312. Isaiah 33

    Isaiah 33:20

  313. verse 20

  314. Guys the picture is of

  315. Zion being a people

  316. So Zion being a people and

  317. God's putting a huge river

  318. like a broad river like a moat around it.

  319. And so what happens is

  320. no pirate ship, no mighty battleship

  321. no destroyer can come anywhere near Zion

  322. because God will not allow them to ply

  323. in that defensive moat

  324. called this broad river that he's put around Zion.

  325. No one shall come that way.

  326. No pirate shall take it.

  327. That's what it's meant.

  328. This is the kind of people we are.

  329. We've got to align ourselves with this understanding

  330. because somehow

  331. both the spirit world

  332. humans and God knows when we believe in something

  333. and when we don't.

  334. I love the next thing I want to say.

  335. You know if you go to Exodus 19 13

  336. someone can turn to Exodus 19 13.

  337. Exodus 19 13.

  338. Let's start at verse 10.

  339. Exodus 19 10.

  340. 19 10 yeah.

  341. This was with reference to Mount Sinai

  342. which as I was saying to James

  343. is not Mount Zion but

  344. is sometimes used as

  345. a model because God came and

  346. dwelt on Mount Sinai when he spoke to Moses.

  347. And so the Bible says

  348. that the people of Mount Sinai

  349. dwelt on Mount Sinai when he spoke to Moses.

  350. And the Lord said to Moses

  351. go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow.

  352. Have them wash their clothes and be ready by the third day

  353. because on that day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai

  354. in the sight of all the people.

  355. Put limits for the people around the mountain

  356. and tell them be careful that you do not go up to the mountain

  357. or touch the foot of it.

  358. Whoever touches the mountain shall surely be put to death.

  359. Verse 13 is what I want us to look at.

  360. He shall surely be stoned or shot with arrows.

  361. Not a hand is to be laid on him.

  362. Where the man or animal he shall not be permitted to live.

  363. Only when the ram's horn sounds a long blast

  364. may they go up to the mountain.

  365. Guys the point I want to make is this.

  366. Because God resides in this people

  367. they become the mountain of God

  368. and no beast can touch it

  369. except at the penalty of death.

  370. Let me say that again.

  371. Because we are the mountain of God.

  372. Because God now resides or dwells in this people.

  373. Now nobody can touch it.

  374. Because we are the mountain of God.

  375. Because God now resides or dwells in this people.

  376. Now no beast can come and touch it.

  377. And by beast I mean to represent the enemy.

  378. No beast can touch it except at the penalty of death.

  379. Because any beast that touches it will immediately be shot or stoned.

  380. And so we suddenly need to understand our privilege

  381. that even if a beast should dare to touch it

  382. as David says

  383. when the lion or the bear used to come

  384. and take away a sheep

  385. I used to go and get the sheep back.

  386. If the lion turned around again

  387. I would catch it by its neck

  388. and smash it in the face.

  389. And if the lion turned around again

  390. I would catch it by its neck and smite it.

  391. It's the same kind of thing.

  392. When we become a

  393. Zion people and begin to live

  394. by the standards of Zion

  395. when a beast comes and touches it, when the enemy comes and touches it

  396. we have the ability now to stone and shoot it

  397. in a sense of speaking.

  398. It's the same principle.

  399. That is the protection we have

  400. in a people called Zion.

  401. Do you realize why we need to become this guys?

  402. Understand, keep exploring

  403. and understanding its fullness

  404. and not just understand it but become it.

  405. Become it.

  406. Yep.

  407. If you turn to the next page

  408. you're doing so good for time today.

  409. Provision in Zion.

  410. Provision in Zion.

  411. Psalm 132, verse 15.

    Psalms 132:15

  412. Psalm 132, verse 15.

    Psalms 132:15

  413. Psalm 132, verse 15.

    Psalms 132:15

  414. Starting at verse 13.

  415. Psalm 132, verse 13 onwards.

    Psalms 132:13

  416. And then we get to verse 15.

  417. For the Lord has chosen

  418. Zion

  419. He has desired it for his dwelling

  420. This is my resting place

  421. forever and ever. Here I will sit and throne

  422. for I have desired it. Verse 15.

  423. I will bless her

  424. with abundant provisions.

  425. Her poor will I satisfy

  426. with food.

  427. Once we become a

  428. Zion people you will find that in

  429. all your households

  430. not once you become a Zion people, once we begin

  431. to grow into all that

  432. Zion is, it has already started guys

  433. you will find that in all

  434. your households there

  435. will be provision.

  436. I am not a

  437. prosperity preacher and stuff like that

  438. but I'm telling you the truth

  439. a Zion people in each of

  440. their households there

  441. will be provision. You know why? Because

  442. remember in 2 Samuel 6, 11

  443. there was a time when David

  444. was bringing an ark into Zion

  445. and he had to put it temporarily

  446. in the house of Obed

  447. Eidon the Gittite. Why? Because

  448. he carried it the wrong way. And

  449. 2 Samuel 6, 11 says so they

  450. brought the ark and put it in

  451. Obed Eidon's house for 3

  452. months and the Bible says

  453. all the time that the ark was

  454. there that guy prospered

  455. man. It's called

  456. the Obed Eidon principle of prosperity

  457. if you want to call it that. When God

  458. begins to dwell in the midst

  459. of a people, households

  460. begin to have their supply

  461. of provision period.

  462. Doesn't matter what

  463. the economy is like, doesn't matter

  464. whether you have a job

  465. or not have a job

  466. I am telling you the God-honest truth

  467. why do I need even to say that

  468. I'm just telling you the truth that

  469. when God dwells

  470. when the ark dwells amongst

  471. the people, the households of

  472. that people are provided for.

  473. I am saying please connect

  474. into this. Connect into this

  475. Zion people. If you don't want to connect into this

  476. Zion people go connect somewhere else

  477. into a Zion people

  478. into a Zion people

  479. someone who aligns themselves with this

  480. concept because if you don't you

  481. will still do extremely well but

  482. why settle on the other side of the Jordan?

  483. Simple, two tribes did

  484. they got into a lot of problems

  485. Joel 2.20

  486. I mean we quote this, I've quoted

  487. it all my life but Joel 2.20

  488. comes with new meaning now

  489. Heidi do you want to tell us where Joel is now?

  490. In the Old Testament

  491. before Amos

  492. after Hosea

  493. Joel chapter 2

    Joel 2 chapter mention

  494. Joel 2.20

  495. started verse 15

  496. you know did you know that

  497. that scripture is actually talking about a

  498. Zion people? I didn't know that

  499. started verse 15

  500. blow the trumpet in

  501. Zion declare a holy fast

  502. call a sacred assembly

  503. gather the people, consecrate the assembly

  504. bring together the elders, gather the children

  505. those nursing at the breast, let the bridegroom

  506. leave his room and the bride at the church

  507. and the bride at the church will be

  508. the bridegroom of the church

  509. let the bridegroom leave his room and the bride at chamber

  510. let the priest who minister before the Lord

  511. weep between the temple porch and the altar

  512. let them say spare your people O Lord

  513. do not make your inheritance an object of scorn

  514. a byword among the nations, why should they say

  515. among the peoples where is their God

  516. then the Lord will be jealous for his land

  517. and take pity on his people, the Lord will reply

  518. to them, I'm sending you grain

  519. new wine and oil, enough to satisfy you

  520. fully, never again will I make you

  521. an object of scorn to the nations, I will drive

  522. away the northern army or the devourer

  523. far from you, pushing it into

  524. a parched land and barren land

  525. with its front columns going into the eastern sea

  526. and those in the rear into the western sea

  527. and its stench will go up, its smell will rise

  528. surely he has done great things

  529. be not afraid O land, be glad and rejoice

  530. surely the Lord has done great things

  531. be not afraid O wild animals

  532. for the open pastures are becoming green

  533. the trees are bearing their fruit, the fig tree and the wine

  534. yield their riches, be glad O people

  535. of Zion, rejoice in the Lord your God

  536. for he has given you the autumn rains in righteousness

  537. he sends you abundant showers

  538. both autumn and spring as before

  539. the threshing floors will be filled with grain

  540. your vats will overflow with new wine and oil

  541. I will repay you for the years, the locusts have eaten

  542. the great locust and the young locust

  543. the other locust and the locust swarm, my great army

  544. that I sent among you, you will have plenty

  545. to eat until you are full and you will praise

  546. the name of the Lord your God who has worked wonders for you

  547. never again will my people be ashamed

  548. then you will know that I am in Israel

  549. I am the Lord your God and that there is no other

  550. never again will my people be shamed

  551. even that whole thing about

  552. the locust and all is talking to

  553. people in Zion saying, guys

  554. this is what I will do for you

  555. I am restoring the desolate heights of

  556. Zion, I am rebuilding a people

  557. and because I am rebuilding a people

  558. because I will dwell in them, look what I will do for you

  559. that's what it's saying

  560. honk honk

  561. God will pour upon this people

  562. God will pour upon this people

  563. rain required to sow things early

  564. bring them into maturity because the

  565. autumn rains or the former and the

  566. latter rains, the former rains were supposed to

  567. help you in sowing, the latter rains was to

  568. help you in bringing your crops to maturity

  569. and God is saying people of Zion

  570. I live in you, it is natural

  571. for you to have the Obed-Eidon principle

  572. happen in your midst because

  573. I, your glory dwell in you

  574. you shall be provided for

  575. you will have rain sent upon

  576. you on your crops in due season

  577. you will have that because I dwell amongst

  578. you as a people, didn't I tell you

  579. you are my favorite home, didn't I tell

  580. you that you are my rest, didn't I

  581. tell you that this is what I have desired

  582. from the beginning, didn't I tell you that

  583. how will I not do for you what I have

  584. said so many times to you

  585. this is what it

  586. means to connect to a people called

  587. Zion and to become a people called Zion, we

  588. are already that

  589. but we shall grow in it

  590. we shall grow in it

  591. just because a child reaches the age of 18

  592. maturity or puberty

  593. doesn't mean the child stops growing

  594. the child keeps growing

  595. we shall become that

  596. all this applies to us

  597. spiritually and physically guys

  598. you have to be a part of this people to benefit

  599. personally

  600. this is why Peter

  601. quotes it in

  602. Acts chapter 2 where he stands up

    Acts 2 chapter mention

  603. after the people think they are

  604. all drunk, he stands up and says

  605. no no no we are not drunk, this is what Joel

  606. prophesied, that your men shall

  607. see visions, where do you think

  608. that happens, it happens in a people

  609. called Zion, keep reading Joel

    Joel 2 chapter mention

  610. chapter 2, it says

  611. in verse 28

  612. and afterward

  613. afterward, after I have done this

  614. for you Zion, and afterward I will pour

  615. out my spirit on all people, your sons

  616. and daughters will prophesy, your old

  617. men will dream dreams, your young men

  618. will see visions, even on my servants both men

  619. and women, I will pour out my spirit

  620. in those days, I will show wonders

  621. in the heavens and on the earth

  622. blood and fire and billows of smoke, the sun

  623. will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood

  624. before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord

  625. and everyone who calls on the name of the Lord

  626. will be saved, far on mount

  627. Zion and in Jerusalem, there will be

  628. deliverance as the Lord has said among the

  629. survivors that the Lord calls, it was all

  630. in the context of Zion, like Elmer

  631. is saying, the church is supposed to be

  632. Zion, to settle for

  633. anything less is to be

  634. stunted in our growth and reach the age of 16

  635. like Benjamin Button

  636. keep growing younger instead of growing older

  637. oh, that's just a movie that I

  638. heard about

  639. the curious case of Benjamin Button

  640. I haven't seen the whole

  641. movie so I wouldn't recommend it

  642. I don't know, enough to recommend it

  643. gotta be so careful when you say it

  644. talk about movies

  645. because they think I'm recommending it

  646. haven't seen it, don't know about it

  647. heard about it

  648. now, go to the other scripture, where was that?

  649. Isaiah 33

  650. and 24

  651. 33?

  652. 24, look at another provision that

  653. people in Zion have, this blows my mind

  654. I didn't see it, I stopped short of it

  655. Isaiah 33

  656. Isaiah 33 verse 34

  657. Isaiah 33 verse 24

    Isaiah 33:24

  658. Isaiah 33 verse 24

    Isaiah 33:24

  659. No one living in Zion will say

  660. I am ill, and the sins of those

  661. who dwell there will be

  662. forgiven

  663. No one living in Zion will say

  664. I am ill

  665. and their sins will be

  666. forgiven

  667. what it's saying there is, not only that

  668. Zion or a people of God amongst whom

  669. he dwells will live in health

  670. but even if their sin

  671. and sin be the reason for

  672. their sickness, even that will

  673. be forgiven so that they may continue

  674. to walk in health

  675. imagine a people like that on the face of the earth

  676. imagine walking like that

  677. this is what God wanted Israel to be

  678. He said, I walked in your midst

  679. did any one of you fall sick?

  680. No, not one feeble person for 40 years

  681. the bible says that

  682. whoever fell dead or sick

  683. happened because of sin

  684. and the plague consuming them

  685. but otherwise, neither did their feet

  686. neither did their sandals wear out

  687. nor did their clothes get old

  688. and not one feeble

  689. Israelite was found among them

  690. all the days of the wilderness

  691. roaming around in 40 degree

  692. heat for

  693. 16,000 days

  694. and none of them was feeble

  695. why? Because through the pillar of cloud

  696. he dwelt among them

  697. you think it was real in the Old Testament

  698. and it cannot be real in a better covenant?

  699. the Old Testament had a covenant that was fading

  700. in its glory, we have a covenant that is

  701. richer guys

  702. right on

  703. right on

  704. gosh man, isn't this just ridiculous

  705. Isaiah 34 verse 24

  706. 33 verse 24

  707. yeah

  708. it's just nuts

  709. Elva was saying we are super beings because we have

  710. a super god dwelling in our midst

  711. and we are super beings

  712. and we are super beings

  713. super god dwelling in our midst

  714. suddenly normal beings get transformed into

  715. a people who live in the very shadow

  716. of the Almighty

  717. this is why Moses could make outrageous

  718. statements like he that dwelleth in the secret

  719. place of the most high, no evil shall befall

  720. the tent, no pestilence

  721. we can't become a people like that

  722. it's not pie in the sky guys

  723. Zion, a sought after people

  724. Zion, a sought after people

  725. guys because

  726. of how

  727. a people called

  728. Zion will be

  729. will display very obviously

  730. the presence of god amongst them

  731. they become sought after by those

  732. who are hungry

  733. and those people come and start asking

  734. the way to Zion

  735. I'm telling you, I told you that we have a 6 month

  736. period before

  737. we begin to

  738. speak as Zion

  739. I said that 2 weeks ago

  740. a people, a Zion people

  741. will begin to display the

  742. presence of god in them

  743. it will be obvious in our characteristics, it will be obvious in our

  744. holiness, it will be obvious in our

  745. ability to

  746. walk in health, it will be obvious in

  747. our protection, it will be obvious in all these

  748. characteristics and perspectives we've been talking about

  749. and people who are hungry now

  750. will begin to seek saying, show me the way to Zion

  751. show me the way to Zion

  752. I'm not doing this, you know in the last

  753. 4 days I've had 2 pastors

  754. come to me and say

  755. could you come and teach us

  756. about Zion and father and sons

  757. just out of the blue

  758. I just met them

  759. and they

  760. we started talking and they told

  761. me what they were doing and I said

  762. this is what we're doing and they said

  763. one pastor wants me to come for 3 Sundays

  764. and teach on Zion and fathers

  765. and sons, another pastor wants me to take 2 Sundays

  766. and teach on fathers and sons and Zion

  767. because suddenly those that are hungry will say

  768. show us the way to Zion

  769. so in, because I may be going away in July

  770. I'll be doing this in August otherwise I would

  771. start on July 5th

  772. that's the way it works

  773. even tribes that may be

  774. you know there's a place in Isaiah

  775. Jeremiah 31 6

  776. just try Jeremiah 31 6

  777. I think it's there

  778. Jeremiah 31 6

  779. yeah

  780. Jeremiah 31 6

  781. come

  782. there will be a day when the watchmen cry out

  783. on the hills of Ephraim

  784. come let us go up to Zion

  785. to the Lord our God

  786. and the background of that is

  787. the word Ephraim means double fruit

  788. Ephraim means double

  789. fruit and yet

  790. what had happened with Ephraim was

  791. some of the kings

  792. in Ephraim had set up golden

  793. calves at Dan and Beersheba

  794. and so people were there

  795. worshipping the golden calves

  796. instead of worshipping God and here

  797. the scripture is saying a day is coming

  798. when even those of the

  799. tribe of Ephraim which means the tribe of

  800. double fruit will leave their

  801. golden calves and will come and say

  802. let's go to Zion because

  803. that's where God dwells and I'm saying to you

  804. the time is coming when people

  805. of Zion will be sought after people

  806. and tribes that are

  807. bearing double fruit have

  808. tremendous success will still come

  809. leaving their golden calves

  810. golden calves are man made

  811. man chiseled traditions and ways

  812. they will leave it and say let's go find out

  813. what a Zion people are

  814. this church is six months I told you that

  815. before we become a people

  816. I'll have to stand and make these things known

  817. but it's already happening because whatever

  818. is going to happen to the house will happen

  819. in my life a little before

  820. that happens

  821. this is the way it works

  822. Zion births

  823. a people from every tribe and nation guys

  824. and you get forged into one new

  825. man

  826. that's how it works if you go to

  827. Psalm 87 verses 5 to 7

    Psalms 87:5–7

  828. you see that Psalm 87

  829. Wayne can I trouble you

  830. one last time to switch off

  831. the thing now because some people

  832. are frozen I haven't seen them move for the last

  833. two minutes

  834. I'm talking about the air conditioning

  835. Psalm 87 verses 5 to 7

    Psalms 87:5–7

  836. and it says

  837. that

  838. indeed of Zion it will be said

  839. this one and that one were born in her

  840. and the most high himself will

  841. establish her the Lord will write in his

  842. register of people this one was born in

  843. Zion as they make music

  844. they will sing all of my fountains

  845. are in you

  846. this is supposed to be

  847. something that God is doing on the earth now

  848. we read in Psalm 102 verse 16

    Psalms 102:16

  849. that God is rebuilding Zion

  850. so it is natural that once we get to

  851. know this we need to God will use us

  852. once we begin to not just know it but live it

  853. God will begin to use us to now

  854. let it be birthed

  855. everywhere now once it's birthed

  856. it will come forth

  857. in other places too and we should all

  858. become one new man if you turn to Isaiah

    Isaiah 66:7

  859. 66 verse 7

  860. Isaiah

    Isaiah 66:7

  861. 66 verse 7

  862. before she goes into labor she gives birth

  863. before the

  864. pains come upon her

  865. she delivers a son who has ever

  866. heard of such a thing?

  867. before she goes into labor she gives birth

  868. before the pains come upon her she delivers

  869. a son the point there

  870. is to say that

  871. a time is coming when

  872. people begin to

  873. catch on to the fact that God is rebuilding

  874. Zion and it will be so

  875. easy for others to grasp it

  876. that the whole idea of a people

  877. called Zion will begin to spread like

  878. crazy here on earth there won't even be

  879. time for gestation and

  880. pain of labor it will be

  881. because at the end of the day

  882. what God wants to bring here on earth is something

  883. called a man child or the new man

  884. if you turn to Revelation then we'll just touch on it briefly

  885. and then not go into it further because

  886. I don't know enough about it

  887. but I'll just show you where it says so

  888. Revelations

  889. 12 maybe let me just see

  890. yes

  891. Revelations 12 5

  892. when we do it in the Bible study it will explain

  893. it more but

  894. just so we understand

  895. what God is going to birth on earth

  896. Revelations 12 5 she will give birth to a son

  897. a male child who will rule all the

  898. nations with an iron

  899. she will give birth to a child

  900. a male child or a man child

  901. who will rule the nations with a

  902. scepter and we will talk about how ruling

  903. is part of Zion's destiny

  904. I just want to leave that verse with you

  905. we won't explore it now if it has peaked

  906. your curiosity keep coming to the Bible study

  907. every Tuesday

  908. every alternate Tuesday and we'll talk about that

  909. moving on

  910. let's take a break any questions

  911. other than the scripture on Revelations

  912. if you have any questions when can we

  913. break

  914. go ahead Miriam

  915. okay Zion is a city

  916. of priest kings

  917. how do we know that because

  918. to begin with Christ

  919. our capstone is a priest and

  920. a king

  921. so it's natural that if the

  922. capstone or the cornerstone is where

  923. the rest of the building takes its shape

  924. from that the rest of the

  925. building also operates in the mode

  926. of priest kings

  927. also

  928. if you look at Zion in the

  929. Old Testament, Zion at one

  930. point was the city of David I'll show you

  931. from scripture actually if you turn to

  932. 2 Samuel 5,9

  933. 2 Samuel 5,9

  934. 2 Samuel after 1 Samuel

  935. before

  936. kings

  937. 2 Samuel 5,9

  938. okay and here's what 2 Samuel

  939. 5,9 says

  940. 2 Samuel 5,9 says

  941. David then took up residence in the fortress

  942. and called it the city of

  943. David, he built up the area around it

  944. from the supporting terraces inward

  945. and he became more and more powerful because

  946. the Lord God Almighty was with him

  947. 2 Samuel 6,12

  948. 2 Samuel 6,12

  949. Now king David was told

  950. the Lord has blessed the household of

  951. Obaididum and everything he has

  952. because of the Ark of God so David

  953. went down and brought up

  954. the Ark of God from the house of

  955. Obaididum to the city of David

  956. with rejoicing. Why am I giving you those

  957. two scriptures? To show you

  958. that Zion from

  959. the Old Testament times

  960. was both the seat of the throne

  961. and the seat of the Ark

  962. it was both

  963. a place of

  964. ruling and a place of

  965. religion, it was both political and

  966. religious, it was both priest and

  967. king. David

  968. ruled as a king from Zion

  969. David also was a priest out of

  970. Zion. So the whole

  971. idea of priest-kings is very

  972. intrinsic to Zion, it's

  973. in Zion's DNA, anyone

  974. who belongs to a people

  975. called Zion are by birth

  976. priest-kings

  977. Christ was the ultimate

  978. high priest and the ultimate king of kings

  979. he is a capstone, it is

  980. a natural birth

  981. DNA

  982. to be priest-kings. We've talked

  983. about priest-kings at length but we need to understand

  984. this. In fact if you

  985. look at Genesis

    Genesis 14 chapter mention

  986. chapter 14, Genesis 14

  987. Genesis is just where the Bible

  988. begins and before the second book

  989. Genesis 14

  990. on the tape they'll

  991. think I'm preaching to people who don't know that

  992. Genesis 14

  993. verse

  994. verse 17

  995. Then Melchizedek

  996. sorry, after Abraham returned

  997. from the defeat of Kedr-Laumer

  998. and the kings allied with him

  999. verse 18

1000. Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine

1001. he was the priest of God most high

  1002. and blessed Abraham

1003. So we know that Melchizedek was

1004. the king of Salem. Salem stands for

  1005. Salem stands for

  1006. Let's go to Hebrews chapter 7

    Hebrews 7 chapter mention

  1007. Hebrews 7

1008. When we go to Hebrews 7 we'll see it there

  1009. I think

  1010. Hebrews 7

    Hebrews 7:1

  1011. verse 1

  1012. Hebrews 7 verse 1

    Hebrews 7:1

  1013. Then Melchizedek

1014. was the king of Salem

1015. and the priest of God most high

1016. He met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings

1017. and blessed him and Abraham gave him a tent

1018. of everything. First his name means

1019. king of righteousness, then also

1020. king of Salem, meaning king of peace

1021. Salem is another word for Jerusalem

1022. without father or mother, without

1023. genealogy, without beginning of days

1024. or the end of life like the son of God

1025. he remains a priest forever. Guys what I'm trying to say

  1026. is that the first

1027. mention of Jerusalem or Zion even before

  1028. Zion is mentioned first

  1029. in Deuteronomy 4.48

1030. but Jerusalem is first mentioned in Genesis chapter

    Genesis 14:18–20

  1031. 14 verse 18 to 20

1032. and we talked about how Jerusalem is another

1033. name sometimes used for Zion

1034. and we see that the first person introduced

1035. from Jerusalem was a priest

  1036. king. He was the

  1037. king of Salem

1038. he was the king of righteousness

1039. and he was a priest

1040. so it's natural for us as

1041. people of Zion to be priest-kings

1042. So let's quickly talk about priestcraft

  1043. in Zion and

1044. kingcraft in Zion and then we'll stop

  1045. Psalm 132 verse 16

    Psalms 132:16

  1046. Psalm 132

    Psalms 132:16

  1047. verse 16

1048. You'll have to go home and go over this

  1049. pour over this

1050. understand it, live it, come back next week

1051. and we'll talk more about it

  1052. Psalm 132 verse 16

    Psalms 132:16

  1053. Psalm 132 verse 16

    Psalms 132:16

1054. Look at what it says about

  1055. the priest in Zion

1056. I will clothe her priests

  1057. with salvation

  1058. I will clothe

  1059. her priests

  1060. with

  1061. I want you to

1062. look at the Hebrew word

  1063. Yesha is salvation

  1064. and Yesha means

  1065. prosperity

  1066. deliverance

  1067. and

  1068. liberty

1069. and so one of the things that

1070. God says about the priests of

1071. Zion is I will clothe them

  1072. with Yesha

1073. which means I will clothe the priests

  1074. of Zion with liberty

  1075. deliverance, prosperity

1076. and the oil of joy

  1077. I will clothe her

  1078. priests

1079. I'll do the Wanda White thing

1080. I'll clothe her priests with liberty

  1081. prosperity and deliverance

1082. and the oil of joy

  1083. Really

1084. Okay so that's one of the things he clothes

  1085. priests with

  1086. Psalm 132 verse 17

    Psalms 132:17

1087. Here I will make a horn grow

1088. for David and set up a lamp for my anointed one

  1089. meaning God will cause

  1090. the priests to increase

1091. in their display of power and glory

1092. He'll cause the priests to

1093. increase in their display of power and glory

1094. Guys this is what we need to be clothed

  1095. with

1096. We've talked about priests in the past so I'm not

1097. talking much about it but please

1098. understand that as a priest in Zion

1099. I need to begin to reflect

  1100. what I'm clothed

1101. and I'm clothed in liberty

1102. so there should be this amazing

  1103. freedom

  1104. that you smell, taste

  1105. see displayed

  1106. in me

  1107. not legalism but liberty

1108. The other thing you need to see

  1109. in a priest of

1110. Zion or priest who belongs

1111. to a people called Zion is

  1112. that he walks

  1113. delivered

  1114. from both the things

1115. of the world and the things of the flesh and the things of the

  1116. enemy because how can

  1117. I minister

1118. deliverance if I am in bondage

  1119. It's difficult

1120. It's not impossible but it is difficult

1121. So priests walk in liberty

1122. in deliverance and in prosperity

1123. By prosperity it doesn't mean

1124. how much money is in my

1125. wallet, by prosperity I mean

  1126. shallow welfare

  1127. not as in welfare

  1128. welfare as in

  1129. overall

  1130. well-being is what

1131. is meant by prosperity here

  1132. It includes abundance

  1133. and it includes

  1134. resources

1135. but it's not talking about the amount of money you have

  1136. That's the kind of

1137. priest who walk out of Zion because if

  1138. you are obedidum

1139. and God's ark dwells in your house

  1140. it should be natural

1141. If God actually dwells in your house

  1142. wouldn't you walk healed?

  1143. If God actually

1144. dwells in your house, wouldn't your provisions

  1145. be supplied?

1146. And so either God does not

1147. walk with us or God is speaking lies

1148. or I'm not walking with him, God

  1149. can't lie so

1150. the equation gets pretty simple but that's the

1151. people we are called to become

  1152. Priests of Zion walk

  1153. in righteousness

1154. Priests of Zion walk in righteousness

  1155. vital

  1156. if as priests

  1157. of a people

  1158. called Zion allies don't

  1159. display holiness then

  1160. really your priesthood is

1161. taken away from you because

1162. in the Old Testament if you had a defect

1163. you were not allowed into the sanctuary

1164. Go ahead Matt, do ask

1165. Liberty, freedom like deliverance and stuff

1166. that's like freedom from sin

1167. No, by liberty and freedom

1168. I meant free of legalism

1169. a freedom both this way

1170. and in the ways of God

1171. It's that kind of liberty I'm talking about

  1172. If you're not a righteousness

1173. as a plumb line peculiar holy people

1174. you gotta be holy to get into

1175. only comes Zion to you

  1176. and you're not a

  1177. religious person

1178. You need to get into only comes Zion

1179. in the first place, you don't even receive

  1180. that freedom from legalism

  1181. I agree, you're right

  1182. So then you're right

  1183. I understand

1184. Jesus perfect, how do you become Zion

1185. I am Jesus perfect, that's the thing

  1186. The beautiful thing about

1187. the people of Zion is they suddenly realize

1188. that they are as perfect

1189. as Christ, that they are as

1190. righteous as Christ and now the

1191. part that they have to work on

1192. is beginning to live out the righteousness

1193. and the perfection of Christ that is already within you

  1194. outward

1195. and that is where I have to

1196. choose to conform to God

1197. and not to the world and it's not a struggle

1198. nor is it a choice

  1199. it's a preference

  1200. Once we move

1201. from looking at sin as

1202. and righteousness as a struggle

1203. once we move from looking at sin as

1204. a choice between sin and righteousness

1205. and we decide that righteousness

1206. is going to be a preference because I like God

  1207. suddenly it becomes

  1208. very simplified

1209. Well, when's the question period

1210. asked? Yeah, yeah, sure thing

  1211. Thanks man

  1212. Once we do this

1213. we can with power and accuracy

1214. we can have the word

1215. and salvation go forth from us

1216. Please stay with me for another 10 minutes

1217. and then we are done

  1218. Yeah, so don't

  1219. phase off

1220. right now because this next part is important

1221. As priests, when we begin

1222. to walk in deliverance, when we begin

1223. to walk in freedom, when we begin

1224. to walk in liberty and

  1225. in well-being

1226. as priests, when we begin to walk in righteousness

  1227. then it is easy

1228. for salvation and the word of God

1229. to go out of a Zion people

1230. because they are living it, it goes

1231. out of them easily because at the end of the day

  1232. Folks, it's not tracts, it's not

  1233. crusades, it's not tent

  1234. meetings, it's not witnessing

1235. that is the greatest tool of evangelism

1236. the greatest tool of evangelism

1237. is the glory of God that resides

  1238. in you

  1239. Never forget that

  1240. It is impossible

  1241. to come against that

  1242. and not be

  1243. provoked, touched

  1244. taken aback

  1245. or go forward

  1246. Always remember that

1247. the greatest tool of evangelism

1248. is the glory of God

1249. Everything else is a method

  1250. to facilitate evangelism

1251. but the greatest tool of evangelism

1252. is when a people realize

1253. that the glory of God dwells

1254. in them. This is why

1255. when they continued in the Apostles doctrine

1256. when they continued in the breaking of bread

1257. when they continued in fellowship and in prayers

1258. Thousands upon thousands began to get added to the church

  1259. Acts chapter 2 verses 42 to 44

    Acts 2:42–44

1260. Why? Because suddenly people realized

1261. Oh shucks, the presence of God

  1262. dwells in these

  1263. no name fishermen

  1264. They suddenly realized it

1265. The glory of God if we want to

  1266. recap is the splendor

  1267. the weight

  1268. the reputation, the character

  1269. the nature, the power

  1270. of the Lord

1271. The character, the nature, the power of God

  1272. all wrapped into one

1273. is the word glory or kabod

1274. and who is the glory of God?

1275. The Christ is the visible glory

  1276. of the invisible God

1277. and where does he reside now?

1278. The Christ resides in us as a people

1279. and in us as individuals

  1280. So when this Christ

1281. who is veiled in flesh

  1282. begins to display himself

1283. because the flesh is no longer

1284. what is working in us but it is the power of God

1285. working in us, the world will see

1286. It is impossible to escape it guys

1287. It is impossible to escape it

1288. It is the greatest tool of

  1289. evangelism

  1290. Hallelujah, right on

  1291. Right on

  1292. So that is why

  1293. when we become priests

1294. who live by the standards of Zion

1295. it is natural for salvation and the word of God

1296. to go forth from Zion

1297. It is very natural, this is why God wanted

1298. a people to become a people of Zion

1299. so that it wouldn't be an effort anymore

1300. it would go out like waves rolling out

  1301. it would go

  1302. it would go

1303. and finally we come to

  1304. Kings

  1305. King, Craft and Zion

1306. The last bit, King, Craft and Zion

1307. Hey today is the longest day

  1308. in the year

1309. So we could go on for another two hours and it still wouldn't be dark

  1310. Just kidding

  1311. Not completely, but

  1312. King, Craft and Zion

1313. Because the people of Zion take their lead

1314. from the resident king in their midst

1315. I'll repeat it again, Zion people

1316. are from the root of Jesse and the tribe of

  1317. Judah, I love this

  1318. Because a Zion people

  1319. take their lead

  1320. from

1321. the resident king in their midst

  1322. I mean we

1323. take our lead, we are shaped by

  1324. we connect as

1325. we become as our capstone

  1326. our cornerstone is

1327. Because a people of Zion

1328. take their lead from the resident

  1329. king in their midst

1330. A people of Zion are from the

1331. stock or the root of Jesse

1332. And a people of Zion are from the tribe of Judah

1333. So if someone asks you

  1334. your genealogy

1335. After you tell them you are from

1336. the Patamukil family in Matakatu,

  1337. Kerala and India

1338. Always remember to also tell them

  1339. that you are

1340. from the stock of Jesse

1341. the root of Jesse and you are

1342. from the tribe of Judah

1343. Because that's who you are man

  1344. That's your genealogy

  1345. We got to understand

1346. We got to understand this

1347. Yeah, we got to grasp it

1348. We got to grasp it

1349. We got to grasp it

1350. And if we, why do we need to grasp this guys?

  1351. Because

1352. if you are from the

1353. root of Jesse, that's your stock

1354. And if you are from the tribe of Judah

1355. Then the scepter is your

  1356. rightful possession

  1357. Then the scepter is

  1358. your rightful possession

  1359. Because if you go

  1360. to Psalm 2

  1361. Your rightful possession

1362. Because just like King Arthur

1363. if I may use myth

  1364. Just like one

1365. had to go and pull

1366. Excalibur out of the rock or get handed

  1367. Excalibur from the river

  1368. So the only

1369. one who can rightfully possess the scepter

1370. are the ones who belong

1371. to the tribe of Judah and who come

1372. from the stock of Jesse

1373. Otherwise, unless you begin to understand

  1374. that that's your natural

1375. Deen and the Zion people

1376. know that, they begin to actually

1377. believe it and then begin to live it out

1378. That's when the scepter comes into your hands

1379. and now you have the right to rule

1380. And we'll talk about ruling

1381. just a bit today and more as we

1382. begin to explore it, but if you go to Psalm

  1383. What did I say?

  1384. Psalm 2

  1385. Psalm 2

  1386. Verse?

  1387. Verse 9

1388. Yeah, yeah, start at 7

  1389. I will proclaim

1390. the decree of the Lord

1391. He said to me, this is Jesus's coronation

1392. in a sense of speaking

1393. I will proclaim the decree of the Lord

1394. Today I have become your son, today I have become your father

1395. These were the words I heard over when he was baptized

  1396. Ask of me

1397. and I will make the nations your inheritance

1398. and the ends of the earth your possession

1399. You will rule them with an

  1400. iron scepter

1401. and will dash them to pieces like pottery

  1402. Go to Genesis 49, 10

  1403. Genesis 49

  1404. I think it's 10, Genesis 49

  1405. Yeah, I didn't check actually

1406. Genesis 49, yeah it is

  1407. 8 onwards

  1408. Genesis 49, 8

  1409. Genesis 49, 8

1410. Judah, your brothers will praise you

1411. Your hands will be on the neck of your enemies

1412. Your father's son will bow down to you

1413. You are like a lion's cub, oh Judah

1414. You return from the prey, my son

1415. Like a lion who crouches and lies down

1416. Like a lion as who dares rouse him

  1417. The scepter will not

  1418. depart from Judah

  1419. nor the ruler's staff

  1420. from between his feet

1421. until he comes to whom

1422. it belongs and the obedience of the nations

  1423. is his

  1424. Go to Isaiah 11, 2

1425. It's not in your scriptures but I think

  1426. there's another reference there, Isaiah 11, 2

  1427. Yep

  1428. Isaiah 11, 2

  1429. I'll just read 11, 1

  1430. and then go to 11, 4

1431. A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse

1432. or the stalk of Jesse

1433. From his roots a branch will bear fruit

  1434. Verse 4 or verse 3 and a half

1435. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes

1436. or decide by what he hears with his ears

1437. but with righteousness he will judge the needy

1438. with justice he will give decisions for the poor

  1439. of the earth

1440. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth

1441. with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked

1442. Righteousness will be his belt

1443. and faithfulness the sash around his

  1444. waist

1445. Guys, this is the stalk you belong to

1446. This is the tribe that you belong to

1447. And once you begin to

1448. grasp, once you begin to grasp it

1449. you begin to actually believe it

1450. And then God says, son, you've come to a place

1451. where you actually believe it, I can give it to you now

  1452. It's like your kids

1453. It comes to an age where

1454. the mother says, okay, this is the dress

1455. that I got married in

1456. I think you're ready to have it now

1457. Part of the reason they're giving it is because they don't fit it into it anymore

  1458. but that's different

1459. But they still give it to the daughter and they say, this is the dress I got married in

1460. So, thank God men don't have to do that

  1461. Therefore

1462. the law will go out of Zion

1463. and the Zion people, okay

  1464. Go to Isaiah 2-3

  1465. We're almost done guys

  1466. Isaiah 2-3

  1467. Isaiah 2-3

  1468. I love the scripture

  1469. I love the scripture

  1470. Let's start at verse 1

  1471. Isaiah 2

1472. This is what Isaiah son of Amos

1473. saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem

1474. In the last days the mountain of the Lord's temple will be established

1475. Who is the mountain of the Lord's temple?

  1476. Mouah

1477. Us, what's us in French?

  1478. Mouah

  1479. Mouah is me

  1480. N-O-U-S

1481. Who is the mountain of the temple of the Lord?

  1482. Everybody together?

  1483. Nouah

  1484. Okay

1485. As chief among the mountains

1486. It will be raised above the hills

1487. It will be raised above the hills and all nations will stream to it

1488. Many people will come and say

  1489. and listen to this

1490. Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord

1491. to the house of the God of Jacob

1492. so that we may walk in his paths

1493. The law will go out from

1494. Zion, the word of the Lord

  1495. from Jerusalem

1496. He will judge between nations and settle

  1497. disputes for many peoples

1498. They will beat their swords into plowshares, their spears into

1499. pruning hooks. Nation will not take up

1500. sword against nation, nor will they train for war

1501. anymore. Come, O house of Jacob

1502. let us walk in the light of the Lord

1503. Some of it is already happening

1504. Some of it is for a time not yet

1505. But the point is this guys

1506. The law or the decree or the declarations

1507. go out of a people called

  1508. Zion

  1509. Unless we become

  1510. these people

  1511. we will never understand

1512. the God who is resident among us

1513. who has all the possessions of the earth

1514. and who will whisper into our ears saying

1515. Here son, this is what I want you to decree

1516. because the law will go out of Zion

  1517. Zion is a people

1518. God always uses people here on earth

1519. to bring to pass, decrease and his will

1520. Why did Jesus ask us to pray

1521. Let your will be done here on earth as it is in

1522. heaven? Because he wanted us to make

  1523. declarations and decrease

1524. because the law was always supposed to

1525. go out of a people

1526. Israel was supposed to be

  1527. that nation

1528. that would show the world how God works

1529. which is why God said to Israel, Israel

  1530. don't worry, I'm taking you out

1531. of Egypt and through you

  1532. I will show Pharaoh

1533. who is God and through you

1534. I will show all the nations around

  1535. that you are a

  1536. people that I carry

1537. in my arms like a father

1538. bears his children, like an eagle

1539. bears its young and they shall know

1540. that God dwells among them

1541. It is always his intent

1542. to use a people to display his power

  1543. Always his intent

1544. So when we become that people

1545. suddenly decrease, start going out

1546. from us because God dwells in our midst

1547. and we hear him and we speak it

1548. and it happens, not because we suddenly have

1549. more clout but behind us

1550. is someone with absolute clout

1551. The word C-L-O-U-T begins and ends

  1552. in him

1553. So we need to explore that further

  1554. and we will

1555. A Zion people will rule in the midst

  1556. of hostility and

  1557. enemies

1558. and both are characteristics of kings

1559. I am going to show you Psalm 110 verse 2

    Psalms 110:2

  1560. Guys we are just

  1561. scratching the surface of

  1562. Kingcraft in Zion

1563. In the weeks ahead we may expand on it

1564. I'm just giving you a taste of it

  1565. Psalm 110 verse 2

    Psalms 110:2

  1566. Psalm 110 verse 2

    Psalms 110:2

  1567. Hehehehehehe

1568. Hehehehehe is like delightful laughter

1569. It's a slight element of glee to it

  1570. The Lord will extend

  1571. your mighty scepter

  1572. from Zion

1573. You will rule in the midst of your

  1574. enemies

1575. Your troops will be willing on your day of battle

  1576. Arrayed in holy majesty

1577. from the womb of the dawn

1578. you will receive the due of your youth

1579. and then he goes on to say what else will happen

  1580. to the enemy

1581. The Lord has sworn and he will not change his mind

1582. You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek

1583. The Lord is at your right hand

1584. He will crush kings on the day of his wrath

1585. He will judge the nations heaping up the dead

1586. and crushing the rulers of the whole earth

1587. He will drink from a brook beside the way

1588. and therefore he will lift up his head

1589. It's talking about Christ but who is the body of Christ

1590. Who is Christ dwelling among

  1591. Us

  1592. New

1593. These are characteristics of kings

1594. These are characteristics of kings

  1595. To be honest

1596. I don't know if you guys have heard

  1597. of the word king

1598. These are characteristics of kings

1599. To rule in the midst of their enemies

1600. and rule in the midst of hostility

1601. It's the characteristics of kings

1602. But I want to say something to you

1603. Kings are not born out of confession

  1604. Meaning

1605. To go around for the next whole week saying

  1606. I'm a king, I'm a king, I'm the son of the king

  1607. I'm the son of the king, hallelujah, I'm a king, I'm a king

  1608. Kings, yeah

  1609. Affirming that doesn't help

1610. Kings do not grow out of confession

1611. Kings grow out of a culture

1612. Kings grow out of a culture

1613. Kings don't grow out of a confession

1614. Because one of the things that

1615. Unfortunately the church got stuck with

  1616. Is claiming

  1617. I'm a king, I'm a king, I'm a king

  1618. First of all

1619. For kingship to be established

1620. It is based on your priesthood guys

  1621. We've talked about this

1622. To be a king you first have to be a priest

1623. Which means if you are not a priest

1624. If you are not living a life that is holy

1625. Your right to rule is taken away

  1626. But being a king doesn't come

1627. Through confessing it a hundred times

1628. Being a king comes through growing up in a culture

1629. That will begin to spawn kings

1630. Growing up in a culture

1631. And it's natural that if we

1632. Begin to actually understand and grasp

  1633. The principles of living

1634. In the city of the great king, Psalm 48 2

1635. Says that and you know that song

1636. Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised

1637. In the city of our God, in the mountain of his

  1638. Holiness, beautiful for situation

1639. The joy of the whole earth

1640. Is Mount Zion on the side of the north

1641. The city of the great king

1642. If you want to begin to develop

1643. Into the king that you are called to be

1644. Then you have to grow up in a culture

1645. That spawns or births kings

1646. And that culture is only found

1647. In the city of the great king

1648. And who is the city of the great king?

  1649. Noo

  1650. Us

  1651. Sorry?

  1652. We

  1653. Yes

1654. That's where people are taught

1655. By the king of kings to wield the scepter of authority

  1656. Over Babylon

1657. That is where people are taught

1658. By the king of kings to wield

  1659. The scepter of authority

1660. Let me put it this way

  1661. Let's pick on someone

1662. If you want to construct houses

  1663. I would suggest

1664. That you don't come and spend time with me

  1665. Because I couldn't put together

1666. Simple stuff that Ikea and brick sends

1667. You leave alone, construct stuff

1668. If you want to become a builder

1669. Or someone who is involved in construction

  1670. Go

  1671. To Wayne, Matt

  1672. Or Elmer

  1673. Spend time with them

  1674. He's not here

  1675. He's not here today

  1676. Spend time with them

1677. If you spend enough time with Wayne

  1678. Matt and Elmer

1679. Over a period of time

1680. You will begin to apprentice with them

1681. And you will grow up in a culture where they don't talk about

  1682. Guitar strings

1683. They talk about spanners and hammers

1684. And nails and your language will change

1685. Your hands will get rough

1686. Your clothes will look awkward

  1687. You'll walk around

  1688. Not with a briefcase

1689. But big hunking tool boxes

1690. You will not wake up at an early hour

1691. But go to work at 5 o'clock

1692. And come back at 10

1693. You will come back with splinters

  1694. In your hand

1695. Why? Because that's the culture that

  1696. You're suddenly living in

1697. But at the end of the day, two years from now

1698. You will actually construct your own house

1699. That's exactly how Zion works

1700. Zion is a place where

  1701. Kings are birthed

1702. But they first have to understand

  1703. What Zion is

  1704. And suddenly this culture

  1705. Begins to produce kings

1706. The culture begins to produce kings

1707. And then once the culture

1708. Produces kings, these kings begin to know how to

1709. Decree in the midst of

1710. Hostility, in the midst of the enemies

1711. And they'll see things happening

  1712. They'll see things happening

1713. The culture of the tribe then begins to affect

  1714. Households and individuals

1715. So you have to understand, this is not something

1716. You can attempt on your own as an individual

  1717. Guys

1718. It's the culture of a tribe that affects

1719. The household and then the individual

1720. So if we learn it here

1721. You will start doing it at home

1722. If you learn it at home, you will start

  1723. Doing it as individuals

  1724. It'll first begin with

1725. Situations in church that we deal with

  1726. As kings

1727. Like two weeks ago when we had a prayer time here

1728. And we had to deal with

1729. A giant that was coming against us

  1730. Remember?

1731. We talked about, we prayed against

1732. That particular thing that was coming against us

1733. And how did we pray? We prayed with

  1734. God given decrees

1735. You saw that, we learned it first as a church

1736. Once you learn it as a church

  1737. Now in your home

1738. You begin to practice it in your household

1739. And once you begin to practice it in your household

1740. You begin to practice it as individuals

1741. And once God sees that they have

  1742. Gotten the hang of

  1743. Behaving like kings and

1744. Ruling in the midst of hostility and enemies

1745. With decrees that I give them

1746. And they're seeing their enemies defeated

1747. Now God will say, okay, I want to give you a little more

1748. A little more, and I promise you

1749. This, if you stay here long enough

1750. And if you stay on course

1751. I say to you very humbly

1752. Then you will see how nations

  1753. And events in nations

1754. Both here in Canada and outside

  1755. Will begin to turn

1756. I am not kidding you

1757. You know I'm not into histrionics and drama

1758. When we get this right on this level

1759. Now God will say, now I can

1760. Trust you with nations, this will not be some kind

1761. Of a gathering where we see eagles

  1762. Flying and cannons blazing

1763. And oh I take this nation for God, no no no

  1764. Not just heighty

  1765. Flutie stuff out there

  1766. No, it will be

1767. So simple, it will be a simple

1768. Decree and you will see events

  1769. Turning in nations

  1770. I've seen it guys

1771. But I saw it only as an individual

  1772. And really I'm not

1773. Interested in seeing it as an individual

1774. I want to see it as a

  1775. People

  1776. It's odd

1777. But I'm not interested anymore

1778. In just seeing it as an individual

1779. I don't want to say something in a nation

1780. And it happens, oh Jacob said it, no

1781. A people said it, a people said it

  1782. A people said it

1783. Because it is out of this people

1784. That I get my benefits, my perspectives

  1785. My characteristics

1786. It's the people that have to learn this

  1787. Nations will then

1788. Once we learn that, no

1789. When we see it work in church, then our homes

  1790. Then our lives, then

1791. Zion people will have the capacity to bring

1792. Nations and events in different

  1793. Nations into subjection

1794. I've seen it through some churches, I've seen it

1795. Individually, but I want to see it

1796. Here in this house as a people

1797. And if you stay long enough here

1798. And if you stay the course, you will see it

1799. The nations will acknowledge the glory of

1800. God, and tributes and wealth

1801. And peoples will be transferred

1802. Out of the dominion into the kingdom of the sun

1803. So let me end with Micah 4.13 and we are done

1804. At least in terms of the teaching

  1805. Micah 4.13

  1806. Micah 4.13

  1807. I don't know where Micah is

  1808. After Amos

1809. I don't know where those two are

  1810. Micah 4.13

  1811. Okay, I got it

  1812. Micah 4.13

  1813. Rise and thresh

  1814. O daughter of Zion

1815. For I will give you horns of iron

1816. I will give you hoofs of bronze

1817. And you will break into pieces many

  1818. Nations, you will devote

1819. Their ill-gotten gains to the Lord

1820. Their wealth to the Lord

  1821. Of all the earth

1822. That's what will eventually happen

1823. That's what will eventually happen

1824. Wayne, I'm done in terms of the teaching

  1825. Guys
