  1. Impossible

  2. Nothing is impossible guys nothing is impossible. Thank you

  3. So now I know how many times I have to repeat something

  4. Guys

  5. Develop a Genesis

  6. 126

  7. Mindset it's a dominion mindset Genesis 126 says go forth

  8. subdue or take dominion over

  9. So that is the mindset that you and I have to develop if all these things that we are talking about in terms of

  10. Miracles healings I forget healings and miracles

  11. There are so many other situations in our lives where there's nothing is impossible mentality needs to come in man

  12. So many other things like before I left I remember saying that we know the history of God as a supernatural God

  13. but most of the time our

  14. approach

  15. To life is natural

  16. Our approach to life is natural, but we know the history of God is supernatural

  17. We also said that we will refuse to live out of the sovereignty of God

  18. Not we'll refuse we would we are going to choose to not live out of the sovereignty of God

  19. But live out of the knowledge of God and Derek asked the question

  20. What do you mean by that and we said to live out of the sovereignty of God is to live saying?

  21. Whatever God wants it will happen. That's living out of the sovereignty of God

  22. What is living out of the knowledge of God living out of the knowledge of God is knowing who God is and how he operates

  23. Living out of the sovereignty of God where you say whatever God wants will happen

  24. Is the easy way out it's not actually the Christ way. It's the Christian way

  25. But living out of the knowledge of God is

  26. The Christ way of living he knew his father. That's how he lived got to make that differentiation. So

  27. If you if I want this phrase that Jesus spoke

  28. Nothing, just imagine it. He doesn't waste a word

  29. He does not exaggerate and if he exaggerates he makes it very clear that he's exaggerating

  30. So he says nothing

  31. This is a God of the universe saying nothing is impossible and remember Jesus Christ was living under the same limitations as

  32. You and I he had chosen to come under the same limitations

  33. So that one who is redeemed is as helpless as he and as dependent on the Holy Spirit and he says

  34. Nothing is impossible. So develop a Genesis 126 Dominion mindset and you will find that you will not just

  35. Have to skirt around battles. You will transcend some existing battles because it's a different way you're thinking

  36. You won't even fight certain battles away you fight

  37. We'll talk about that more. So how do we go about this guys?

  38. Begin to establish truth on earth in your lives by agreeing with God

  39. Understanding God and practicing what heaven says. Let me say that again

  40. establish truths in your life

  41. establish truths in your life

  42. Establish truths in your life how by agreeing with God by understanding God and by practicing what God has said

  43. Three very distinct things the first step is to agree with God saying, you know father everything points otherwise

  44. But I come to say I agree with you

  45. But how can I agree if I don't understand so could you buy your spirit begin to?

  46. Enlighten my mind and begin to illuminate things in my spirit too

  47. And now that I agree and understand father I begin to practice. I put it into practice

  48. You know do when you come into agreement

  49. Understanding and practice with the things of heaven

  50. First begin with small things guys begin with small things

  51. Our problem is we agree understand and practice things when we want to dissolve big things

  52. Start with small things

  53. Start with when your potatoes are not boiling quickly

  54. start with when

  55. The roof is beginning to leak

  56. Start with when you're stuck in traffic

  57. start with

  58. When you have a pimple on your knee

  59. start with when

  60. It's taking too long. We don't think supernaturally in small things. Therefore when it comes to big things

  61. We are still caught struggling when it comes to supernatural responses. We do not use this thing in small things guys

  62. when you begin to agree understand and practice a

  63. Dominion mindset or a mindset that knows that nothing is impossible and that God is supernatural in

  64. Small things you will find that bigger things dissolve more easily because it's become a way of living

  65. So what happens when your potatoes don't boil in two minutes if they are supposed to boil in two minutes

  66. I don't know how long it takes for those to boil

  67. 20 minutes well 220

  68. whatever

  69. That is when I need to begin to

  70. depend differently on God

  71. Jesus said this day and

  72. He used to make these statements for truly I say to you as in guys do not doubt it for a second as in

  73. Please understand that I'm not I'm not just talking stuff

  74. I really mean this and he says truly I say to you if

  75. You have faith like a mustard seed and he was only talking about the size of it

  76. If you have faith like a mustard seed, this is where he makes that statement

  77. Nothing nothing will be impossible for you. Nothing will be impossible for you. It boggles my mind

  78. I can't even I can't even begin to swim in the statement that nothing will be impossible for me

  79. Questions comments before we go on

  80. Up our usual way of dealing with big things is when they arrive

  81. We deal with them and we try to exert faith

  82. But because we have not exerted faith in the small things we are not able to handle the big things

  83. Well, you can't handle a small dog. You won't handle a lion

  84. I mean, I remember this guy called Eduardo who was with Dano and Eddie and me in South Africa

  85. Big guy, he was twice my size and tall

  86. But he he was scared of little dogs

  87. Because of some bad experience with you I mean I remember when we went to the lion farm

  88. there were these little cubs lion cubs and

  89. We went in then we were playing with it and finally Edward who decided he was going to step in and touch one of the lion

  90. Cubs and he went to touch them and instead of catching the head of the lion

  91. He ended up holding the tail of the lion

  92. Cub and it was so funny. I've got a video of it

  93. You know, it says men shall lead lions here wherever the cub

  94. Now, Eduardo was scared to leave the tail and so he's walking around the lion enclosure a really big man

  95. Following a lion cub all around small little dog. He used to be scared of they have a little dog called

  96. What's that drink Milo?

  97. Yvonne and Eddie have a small dog called Milo little fellow not even as big as your foot and what I was scared of that

  98. The point being when I'm scared of these little things that don't know how to respond to them

  99. When they lead me it's from me leading them then when the big things come along

  100. We're unable to handle it be supernatural in small things be supernatural in small things

  101. Be supernatural in small things and you will not have a problem with big things guys, it's the way it works

  102. Any other questions

  103. I want to share something with you

  104. Please

  105. In 2 Timothy 2.7 I was reading the other day about this and this is what it says

  106. Think what I am saying and the Lord will give you understanding

  107. Think about what I am saying

  108. 2 Timothy 2.7

  109. Think about what I am saying and the Lord will give you understanding

  110. There's a word to go over this and over this and over this until it becomes understanding

  111. Good eh, where you meditate on something and the understanding keeps happening

  112. Don't take an easy way out of fear

  113. Very often we think if God wants us to understand we'll understand

  114. Doesn't happen that way guys

  115. That's the case there are sovereignty way of living we got to think to understand

  116. Guys so let's talk about different areas I mean I will touch on healing but this is not the only area where nothing is impossible eh

  117. Guys so let's talk about different areas I mean I will touch on healing but this is not the only area where nothing is impossible eh

  118. That's just one small area I mean when it comes to healing I know you've been over this but again don't we struggle with different issues

  119. Agree, agree we said agree understand practice agree that his name is Yahweh Rafa agree with God

  120. That his title that the title he gave himself is Yahweh Rafa

  121. To come into agreement saying you know father regardless of the pains in my body regardless of what may be happening in different organs

  122. I agree that your title a title that you self gave yourself because no one can give you titles is Yahweh Rafa

  123. As in God my healer agree that he is not neutral in the midst of your sickness

  124. We talk about these points and this refreshing your mind with them

  125. We sometimes we struggle with the thought that God is perhaps not God is surely not against me but you're not convinced he's for you

  126. And in the middle of pain it's so hard to think why can't God just make it go away

  127. But understand that he's never neutral in the middle of your sickness

  128. Even when you're bitter he's still for you in your sickness but he's never neutral in the middle of your sickness

  129. Because the place he reveals his title is Yahweh Rafa is at the waters of Mara and Mara means bitterness

  130. That's where he reveals his name

  131. Agree that sickness is not his will in heaven and therefore not his will on earth

  132. Let me say that again agree that sickness is not his will in heaven

  133. It is not his will

  134. Matthew 16 whatsoever you permit legitimize lose in heaven is what can be permitted legitimized and lose here on earth

  135. Matthew chapter 11 our father who art in heaven hallowed be your name

    Matthew 11 chapter mention

  136. Your kingdom come meaning your rule and reign come your will be done on earth as it is in heaven

  137. Agree that sickness is not his will in heaven therefore it is not his will on earth

  138. So do we have sickness around us obviously everyone has been through it

  139. But is this his will in heaven no and therefore it's not his will on earth

  140. As it is in heaven

  141. Understand guys that he's filled with compassion towards me when I'm sick

  142. Understand that he's filled with compassion

  143. It's never punishment God does not punish he disciplines he does not punish and why doesn't he punish because he punished Jesus

  144. Jesus was my atoning sacrifice atonement means one that takes the wrath that's due me

  145. God does not punish he disciplines

  146. But know that in sickness God is compassionate towards me and when you're in pain and you're hurting and everything in you is screaming and saying

  147. How come you're not doing anything in the middle of that anger and that agony sometimes you got to remember that this God is compassionate to me in my sickness

  148. And it is his compassion that provokes him to heal more than power it is his compassion that provokes him to heal more than power

  149. It is his compassion that provokes him to heal

  150. Understand that it was through Jesus and by Jesus stripes that healing is now a benefit that I can

  151. What's that word?

  152. Grasp appropriate

  153. Know that it was through Jesus's punishment and stripes and by Jesus's stripes that I on earth can now appropriate

  154. Appropriate healing why do I use the word appropriate healing because it is not even something I have to ask for

  155. It is something I have to take I have to make mine it is not even do you go and ask your ATM machine for cash

  156. Could you give me some money? No, no, no, you go and take the money because it is now yours through Jesus's death and punishment

  157. Healing has become something that I can appropriate

  158. God the healer through the stripes laid on Christ has made healing a benefit of his death that is now put in my bank account

  159. Which I can now appropriate in the name and by the stripes that Jesus bore

  160. Understand that my experience or Paul's experience or Job's experience still does not diminish or interpret what God said about himself

  161. Let me say that again understand that neither my experience nor Paul's experience nor Job's experience either diminishes or interprets what God has clearly said about himself as healer

  162. So does that mean Jacob that you throw Paul's thorn in the flesh out and throw Job's condition out and throw Timothy's stomach problems out

  163. No, it means I interpret them in the light of what God has said about himself

  164. I must do that scripture has to be taken in its tapestry in its entirety in all that God reveals about himself

  165. There's a thing in scripture called the principle of first mention and the principle of first mention is where God establishes who he is in certain areas by revealing something about him

  166. And now that I know he's revealed himself this way now I begin to see everything else

  167. I mean we do it here on earth when we do research we have something called a control is that was it called

  168. Where you have something that's not changeable and then you control yeah

  169. God is this control his word is this control specimen that we measure everything against

  170. Understand that Jesus loves healing and he healed all who came to him

  171. But Jacob there are so many that I hear you I even agree with you but this I know that Jesus loved healing and he healed everybody that came to him

  172. Guys he's a visible representation or representer of this eternal invisible healing God who is father

  173. Jesus is the visible representation or re-presenter

  174. He re-presents once again the invisible epiphany of God

  175. Representation or re-presenter he re-presents once again the invisible eternal healing God that we believe in who happens to be a father

  176. He is re-presented and represented by Jesus Christ who is this visible image

  177. And understand that just as in Genesis 1 1 and 1 2 the Holy Spirit is raring rubbing his hands and glee as he waits to undo the chaos of sickness and restore wholeness and shallowness into a situation as you begin to speak

  178. Genesis 1 1 and 1 2 are so vital to this whole idea of bringing order and shallowness or wholeness into chaotic situations

  179. Because as God spoke the Spirit of God who was hovering over this chaotic vain empty place began to bring order and wholeness

  180. And so who speaks now? We speak as we hear God speaking and bring order and wholeness and shallowness into a situation

  181. Spirit of God is still doing it but that is not my experience

  182. I would like to respond rudely by saying who cares and I won't so instead I'll say but I understand your experience may be different but God does not work like that

  183. God is not confined or restrained by your experience

  184. I cannot interpret and define God according to my experience, your experience, Paul's experience, Job's experience

  185. Cannot because he defines himself and he says I can't swear by anyone else

  186. Any questions before we go on?

  187. And if you have any questions may it not start with a but because I've already rebutted the but

  188. Any questions? This is who God is guys how can you argue? How can you argue if God says this is who he is how can you argue?

  189. I have reasons to argue you know how my dad died I should be arguing I don't because I know who God is and my dad will have to be secondary to who God is

  190. My dad's experience defining the God of the universe, am I nuts?

  191. Guys here's a statement that may not sit well with us and that's always okay in this church

  192. When you believe if it is God's will that I be healed could it be I'm just being diplomatic let me change the way I phrase that

  193. When you believe if it is God's will that I be healed could it be I'm just being diplomatic let me change the way I phrase that

  194. When you believe if it is God's will that I be healed may I suggest to you that you're operating out of a state of unbelief

  195. When you believe that if it is God's will I will be healed

  196. When you believe that if it is God's will I will be healed then may I suggest to you strongly that you are operating in a state of unbelief

  197. We live out of three stages guys, we live out of experience, we live out of sovereignty or we live out of the knowledge of God

  198. We live out of experience, we live out of sovereignty or we live out of the knowledge of God

  199. What's living out of experience? My experience defines what God says, how He will do and what will happen

  200. What's living out of sovereignty? I live out of this place where my thought is if God will, He will, if He doesn't, He won't

  201. That's not a wrong place but it's an incomplete, a very incomplete place

  202. complete place. And then there's a third place I live out of which is the

  203. knowledge of God where I know who he is and what he's going to do based simply

  204. on what he speaks and says and has repeated again and again and again and

  205. again and again. So I would suggest to you again strongly that if when you

  206. believe if it is God's will I will be healed you're operating in a state of

  207. unbelief already. Mark 9 23 you should read it in the message listen to this

  208. don't turn there mark 9 23 Jesus said if there are no ifs among believers all

  209. things are possible for one who believes can you believe that he said it then I

  210. know in the other versions it says it differently in the message it puts it

  211. this way mark 9 23 Jesus said if there are no ifs among believers what a what

  212. a crazy statement to make that there are no ifs among believers what's he trying

  213. to say that listen if you know me you will say I know or I don't know you will

  214. not use if I just quoted mark 9 23 I understand it's from the message so some

  215. of us may find it difficult to accept that as scriptural truth well then go to

  216. whichever version and it still carries the same intent if there are no ifs

  217. among believers all things are possible for one who believes. So when I get sick

  218. one of the things I do is I I first see what I need to see about my sickness but

  219. not not in terms of oh how sick am I but I first try to examine okay Jika what

  220. do you see about your sickness in terms of God and then I mean then I start

  221. literally repeating or speaking what I believe of God as a healer because I

  222. need to see God as who he is in my sickness I need to see it okay let me

  223. give you an example yesterday morning which seemed so far away right now

  224. yesterday morning because of getting this really heavy carry on that I was

  225. carrying the wrong way my arm got twisted like this and I couldn't move

  226. this arm so for the next five hours in Frankfurt I was holding this arm

  227. carefully not leaning against I couldn't even button my shirt together

  228. because any pain any strength here would begin to bother my arm and I don't know

  229. what got pinched or what didn't get pinched or whatever happened so I'm

  230. holding it gingerly and I'm already thinking but you've got to play the

  231. guitar and the strap is on your shoulder so how you're going to do that for

  232. and that is my natural way of thinking because 24 hours prior to playing the

  233. guitar I'm already planning what I won't be able to do I'm beginning to see

  234. things about my sickness that have nothing to do with God in the equation

  235. because that didn't occur to me so I'm already thinking of oh shucks Chris

  236. won't be there to play the piano perhaps Jason can play the guitar and I can sing

  237. and Marcus can drum so already my mind is thinking of eventualities and I'm

  238. trying to make adjustments and God is not in the equation and then at some

  239. point I realized what I'm doing and I'm thinking to myself I might need help

  240. after I put my suitcase up I might have to ask some good-looking guy not good

  241. looking like a good-looking strong guy to get my suitcase of the thing I'm

  242. making plans already and then I had to stop and by now I'm in the aircraft I've

  243. somehow managed to put the suitcase up with my left arm and now I'm sitting

  244. there and I'm beginning to talk looking out of the window and I'm beginning to

  245. talk and what am I saying father let me tell you who I think you are I started

  246. saying who he is you're this amazingly compassionate God who really knows the

  247. pain I'm going through and who knows what to do you're the same God who for

  248. the last 25 years has been healing me oh isn't your name Yahweh Rafa got my

  249. healer brutally striped you were right Jesus brutally striped overpaid for my

  250. healing didn't you spirit of God you're just waiting to do something right fix

  251. my arm up fix my shoulder up and I now am beginning to see the finished work of

  252. who Christ is and what he has done for me and has the did the pain go away no

  253. it didn't it was still there and so I rested and then I'd go and check it out

  254. and I'd say father but it's still there and then again see who he is woke up

  255. this morning and I'm thinking to myself as usual Abba you've done it again it's

  256. gone it started going yesterday but this morning I didn't even feel it but what

  257. I'm trying to say is guys got to see the finished work because sometimes you

  258. don't get what you pray for you get what you believe you've received sometimes

  259. it's not what you're praying for it's what you already believe of him that you

  260. receive let me say that again it's what you believe of him that you receive it's

  261. what you believe of him that you receive it's not necessarily what you pray for

  262. it's what you believe of him that you receive

  263. if they believe in God without necessarily attaching it to an idol

  264. because man knows that God is present God still is a rewarder of anyone who

  265. shows faith God still is a rewarder of anyone who shows faith oh yeah when it

  266. comes to faith guys remember faith works for the unbeliever and believer and

  267. works regarding anything you believe people have faith in the devil people

  268. have Christians have faith for things not to work out let me say that again

  269. Christians have faith for things to work out bad

  270. I know I've told this to you before but I remember a time in in 1996 to 95 to 97

  271. I had faith that if I went out witnessing on the streets and giving out

  272. tracks and talking to speak people in East Hastings that when I come back

  273. something would happen to my car because it happened two or three times and so I

  274. expected that every time and every time I came it'd be towed or there'd be a

  275. parking ticket or something would be wrong I had faith for it man that's

  276. something wrong will happen faith is this odd thing that you can put in

  277. anything and surprisingly it has the capacity to bear fruit why because it's

  278. a substance of things unseen meaning it's a proof or the evidence of things

  279. that you're hoping for haven't seen yet but you already believe for I'm not

  280. saying prayer doesn't work even I mean hundreds of times man God has answered

  281. prayer in my life just because he was compassionate kind merciful good and

  282. then there are other times when he says hey you've grown up far too much now to

  283. go on that thing of father if you will do it do it please no no no get to know

  284. what I want now believe who I am so that you may receive from what I am

  285. Mark 11 23 because you do not doubt

  286. Mark 11 23 or thereabouts because you do not doubt because you do not doubt in

  287. your heart but believe that what you say

  288. will come to pass it will be done for you split it up this way so because you

  289. do not doubt doubt is hesitation two minds about something I got to fight

  290. this so often man I'm not talking about sickness now I'm talking about anything

  291. lack of confidence in God happens to me so many times where I see a situation

  292. and immediately the first thing that comes up is two minds lack of confidence

  293. in God hesitation that's the first thing that grabs me because you do not doubt

  294. and every time it grabs you again you go back to seeing who God is in that

  295. situation so Jacob isn't this tiring it can be if you don't enjoy it can be if

  296. you don't enjoy it otherwise didn't matter how many times I was sitting at

  297. Calgary and didn't matter how many times the internet would go on I'd go back

  298. open the browser click on the NHL Network go back to the game watching the

  299. Pittsburgh Penguins play the Canucks yesterday didn't matter how many times

  300. I had to do it kept doing it again and again why because I enjoy it guys what

  301. is your ultimate aim here on earth to reveal the father and reveal the father's

  302. business to reveal the father and reveal the father's business don't you want to

  303. become that does that become does that happen by case or asara no yep because

  304. you do not doubt every time go back when doubt happens in your heart hot how do

  305. you define heart Hebrews 412 defines heart as the place where the soul and

  306. spirit entwine Hebrews 412 and 13 I think or 12 to 16 thereabouts you'll find it

  307. doubt in my that place between between the soul that place of the soul and

  308. spirit my spirit knows it's my soul that begins to doubt but believe believe as

  309. in what as in rely on as in be confident on off as in be persuaded about

  310. to be persuaded about to be confident off to be relying on that what you say

  311. that what you say rely on confident persuaded about and confident off that

  312. what you say based on the word a not based on whatever you want based on the

  313. premise of the word or premise of the Rema be Rema or logos that what you say

  314. will come to pass as it will come to actually happen it will be done for you

  315. who made the statement Jesus can we take it at face value that's our choice

  316. yeah yeah your words bore you into salvation guys in a sense of speaking

  317. this is what Jesus said embrace it embrace it you do not have a choice you

  318. chose to become a Christian you were born again to live the life of another

  319. embrace this good James

  320. okay so that's one that's two that's three yeah you're right and then

  321. sometimes things take time but delay is not denial

  322. delay is not denial

  323. guys why do we find it so easy to believe and agree with facts why do we

  324. find it so easy to believe and agree with the devil's lies instead of God

  325. because usually we deal with the intensity of most circumstances first

  326. with our emotions only then with our spirit and the will why do we find it

  327. easy to believe the facts and not God why do we find it easy to believe the

  328. devil's lies and not God almost always because I meet most circumstances and

  329. the intensity of circumstances I meet them I encounter them first with my

  330. emotions and they begin to ravage me not with my spirit and my will faith the

  331. vehicle of faith is my will that is what I need to meet in that media that

  332. unfortunately because I've grown up in this world and I don't train myself I

  333. still end up meeting things with my emotions first so I have tons of

  334. feelings washing over me and then now I have to try and exert faith I must

  335. begin to learn how not to work that way in certain areas it seems like it's

  336. beginning to happen in other areas still the first thing that hits me is

  337. confusion fear absolute loss of where I'm at and that's that's how my initial

  338. reaction is got to change my initial reaction to things

  339. faith is given by God and we did a teaching on faith in 2012 where we talked

  340. about five different kinds of faith but there was saving faith there was living

  341. faith there was a gift of faith and two others and so sorry okay so faith is

  342. given by God but I need to now develop it and exert it and faith that is not

  343. developed because faith comes by hearing God so as I grow in hearing God as in

  344. not just hearing what he's saying but hearing the word faith comes by hearing

  345. and hearing the word as I increase in my knowledge of God faith increases it's

  346. like a plant where does the plant start in a seed the seed is in me now I have

  347. to water it with the word water it through doing the word and as it grows

  348. faith increases this is why Jesus would say to some oh you of great faith and to

  349. others oh you of little faith so there is there is dimension to faith even

  350. though all of us receive the same amount of faith to start with

  351. go ahead yeah yeah more than seeing it as a process the way I see it and which

  352. I believe is the biblical way to see it is I know that faith I know that healing

  353. has immediacy and patience combined so that I can inherit the promise Hebrew

  354. says that faith is in that the promise is inherited through faith and patience

  355. just listen to that the promise is inherited through faith and patience

  356. which means on one hand there is a thing called faith which is believing that you

  357. have already received it which is immediacy and patience as in knowing that

  358. it shall come to pass and so I combine both so even when this was painting I

  359. expect the pain to go away immediately but when it wouldn't go I would

  360. immediately say father it's still there about I just tried it it's still there

  361. but I combined both and have always seen it work but I call it a process what

  362. happens is sometimes I'm willing to allow a postponement till eternity

  363. sometimes or at least for a few days I begin to take as normal that which is

  364. not natural but isn't sickness natural no sickness is an enemy it is not

  365. natural do we undergo it absolutely why because we live in a fallen world is

  366. that the will of God for us was never was part of the reason why Jesus got

  367. striped aren't plenty of Christians dying of sicknesses absolutely so what

  368. does that mean it means that plenty of Christians are dying of sicknesses what

  369. does it change about God not an iota why because he said so but who did he

  370. swear in whose name did he swear he cannot swear in anyone else's name so he

  371. just says it plainly

  372. yep no go ahead

  373. no worries Jim bill when you think of it just just say it again to say it again

  374. when whenever

  375. yeah yeah

  376. yeah yeah yeah we have the audacity to we have the audacity to believe that

  377. the horrible sins we have committed are washed away by the blood of Jesus we

  378. have the audacity to believe that some of the things that done I haven't even

  379. said to people even today because I am shocked by what I did and I'm a guy who

  380. confesses a lot and yet I haven't I mean publicly if I have the audacity to

  381. believe that those things could be taken away then he did bear this thing too

  382. nice yeah who forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases

  383. yeah for some strange reason we find it easier to believe and one of the

  384. reasons we believe that our sins are easily forgiven is because sins in the

  385. past are invisible and God is invisible and it's okay to go invisible to

  386. invisible but when it comes to sickness it's a very present physical sometimes

  387. visible reality and then to make that go away by an invisible God we haven't

  388. seen yet ah that sometimes is difficult and we are surrounded by it guys we are

  389. surrounded by it and becomes very hard guys so even though it may look like

  390. Jacob you're being so true but that's to destroy the other part of the audio

  391. visual world we live in which goes like this too so don't think God doesn't see

  392. your effort and that he's upset no no no no he's not like he said blessed are

  393. they who will believe in me even though they don't see me that is nuts man that

  394. you believe in an invisible God blessed are they as in happy and envious are

  395. they little bit of faith that you show thrills him he's a rewarder of those

  396. that diligently seek him and you have been for years through through difficult

  397. circumstances you've been seeking him continuously you think he's not pleased

  398. what I'm saying is let's become like Jesus that is why this extreme view has

  399. to be adopted because we are taking we were heading to an extreme position

  400. let's become like Jesus okay delay is not denial meaning so yesterday when the

  401. pain didn't go away immediately it doesn't mean that God is saying okay I'm

  402. reneging on my word what it means is Jacob and God didn't say this word delay

  403. is not denial I begin to think knowing that immediacy and patience collide and

  404. out of it will come good things so when something is delayed I don't now assume

  405. that God is not in it why because I know what God has said I know the premise of

  406. the promise and I do not now begin to move away from it and I know that

  407. because it's being delayed may not even be a lack of faith but I do question

  408. always why didn't it happen immediately

  409. it could be denial and if it is I want to go and check why when I'm standing on

  410. a promise that I know is in the word of God I I'll always question when things

  411. don't happen immediately I'll always question and I come question question

  412. God I you know guys when you get to know his character you can question him

  413. without being argumentative defiant hostile angry or a lawyer yeah though

  414. the fig tree shall not blossom though there be no olives in the stall though

  415. there be no cattle in the herds and though the trees have dropped their

  416. fruit yet I will rejoice in the Lord my God and I will do cartwheels of joy as I

  417. wait for him

  418. there was a time in my life where arguments would be hostile and I'd have

  419. to after I finish arguing with God I'll have to spend the next two hours

  420. apologizing thanking God that he didn't burn me to a cinder but now we come from

  421. a place but because we know his nature argument or reasoning or questioning

  422. never comes from a place of hostility anger or suspicion of his character I

  423. love what Jeremiah says in Jeremiah 15 or 19 I know I've said this before

  424. Jeremiah says to God you are a deceptive brook you are a deceptive brook and how

  425. does God respond saying Jeremiah if you don't stop separating the vile and the

  426. nonsensical from that which is pure and holy and if you don't stop that tone of

  427. suspicion and distrust that you're leveling against me this is the

  428. amplified if you don't stop this then I will stop using you as my mouthpiece

  429. yeah oh yeah

  430. yeah

  431. yeah absolutely I I check myself if there's ever a tone of suspicion and

  432. distrust in my questioning with God good Matt

  433. yeah

  434. the power in the beginning of a certain dominion over the earth and a flesh and a dastard.

  435. We should speak for a flesh just like we even say, oh my soul, talk to your soul,

  436. talk to your flesh, you repeat the symptoms, instead of crying God, he's healing and healing.

  437. It means like I've given you the power to have dominion and serve the faith

  438. that you're supposed to have dominion over the planet and the animal.

  439. Come running and give me a five because if I come there the mic will begin to echo.

  440. Good for you man.

  441. We see him best when we are single minded in our will about his goodness.

  442. We see him best.

  443. We see him best.

  444. We see him best when...

  445. Same thing. Thanks man.

  446. We see him best when we are single minded...

  447. When we are single minded in our will about his goodness.

  448. We see him best when...

  449. I see him best when I'm single minded in my will about his goodness,

  450. in my knowing about his goodness.

  451. This time when I was traveling...

  452. When I...

  453. This happened on the 9th or 10th and suddenly I started writing this and I'm just reading it out to you.

  454. Here's what I wrote, father I stand under your unadulterated goodness.

  455. I've never used those words before, unadulterated goodness, meaning there is not a shred of anything but pure, pure goodness.

  456. Father I stand under your unadulterated goodness.

  457. And what does your unadulterated goodness look like?

  458. It is full with sun remembering love.

  459. So what does his unadulterated goodness look like?

  460. It's filled with sun remembering love.

  461. Which sun? This sun. This Jacob.

  462. His unadulterated goodness is full with sun remembering love.

  463. Always present before him.

  464. I cannot forget you. I've got your name inscribed on my palm.

  465. A mother may forget a child but how can I forget you?

  466. Sun loving goodness. Unforgetting kindness.

  467. We read in Ephesians 2 I think that God uses the vehicle of kindness to express any and everything about himself.

  468. We forget this. God uses the vehicle of kindness to convey any and everything including discipline.

  469. It comes through kindness.

  470. Unforgetting kindness to me.

  471. This is what goodness is.

  472. Come walk here again compassion.

  473. I've blown it a hundred times. Come walk here again compassion.

  474. Come walk here again compassion.

  475. How many times does he have to say it on some days?

  476. 30, 40 times? Come walk here again compassion.

  477. Can't swear by anyone else faithfulness.

  478. Can't swear by anyone else faithfulness.

  479. I can't swear by anyone else faithfulness.

  480. Way opening I go with you sun favor.

  481. Way opening I go with you sun favor.

  482. Way opening I go with you sun favor.

  483. Way opening I go with you sun favor.

  484. See what I'm doing closeness.

  485. See what I'm doing closeness.

  486. As in hey you're so close to me Jacob and I so dearly love you as I love Jesus my son as in John 5, 19, 20, 21 and 31.

  487. The kind of closeness I have with you is see what I'm doing closeness so that you can also do the same.

  488. Piercing light purity.

  489. Piercing light purity.

  490. That's what I've bestowed on you son.

  491. That's the unadulterated goodness I have.

  492. All things are possible Christ life.

  493. All things are possible Christ life.

  494. The life not of Jesus of Nazareth but the life of the risen Christ.

  495. All things are possible Christ life.

  496. Person of the spirit power.

  497. The person of the spirit power.

  498. Same spirit of God who hovered over the earth in Genesis 1.

  499. The person of the spirit power.

  500. This is what you give me father.

  501. And then when I look at all of this it's a small thing that I come and trust you with my life.

  502. It's a very small thing.

  503. It's kind of becomes easy when I think of your unadulterated goodness every morning.

  504. Me coming and giving you my willingness to trust you with my life.

  505. Come on.

  506. I'll have to be dumb not to.

  507. Yeah, so sometimes you can carry them on your back.

  508. Sometimes they don't need any faith.

  509. And then there are some times where no your faith will carry them.

  510. They're believing for something else.

  511. There's nothing you can do because Jesus was limited by unbelief.

  512. Therefore my prayers for you can be limited by your unbelief or by a deferring belief.

  513. Mark chapter 6 verse 9.

    Mark 6:9

  514. Mark chapter 8 verse 23.

    Mark 8:23

  515. In both places you'll see that Jesus was limited by unbelief.

  516. Mark 6,9 sorry, Mark 6,6 and Mark 9,24.

  517. Both have instances and I think 8,23 or thereabouts.

  518. All have instances where Jesus was limited by the environment of unbelief around him.

  519. And since Jesus was as helpless as me and had to depend on the Holy Spirit.

  520. Now when I'm praying for a situation I am limited by an environment of unbelief.

  521. Yes.

  522. Good, yeah, yeah.

  523. So one of the things I'd love to do is go and visit him and talk to him about it.

  524. So that we can all come into agreement.

  525. Let me give you the situation with Renita.

  526. When Renita, we had that night prayer where Maurice and Renita came and we all prayed for Renita's situation.

  527. And what I did first was ask Renita what her expectations were.

  528. Because only after that did we put it up on the board and after that did we pray.

  529. So yes, that is the way to go about it.

  530. It's just that it's more time consuming so we prefer not to.

  531. But I remember calling her, asking her what are your expectations?

  532. What do you want to see done?

  533. And she even had questions like should I take medicines or should I not?

  534. And I said I can't answer that for you.

  535. But whatever you expect and desire, that is what the church can now begin to come into agreement with.

  536. So one of the things that will happen is I know what Marcus is expecting.

  537. But we will base it on the premise of the word.

  538. Because he was thrilled when they checked and saw nothing.

  539. And that was what he expected.

  540. And now this happens.

  541. So let's see how this one works.

  542. I know what happened with Eddie.

  543. And the reason I shared that loudly in front of you and with Marcus is to show the possibilities that exist.

  544. Eddie went in and they opened him up 90% blockages and they couldn't find the blockages.

  545. They opened his heart.

  546. They didn't have, he had open heart.

  547. He didn't have open heart surgery.

  548. So we need to be careful when we use that verse, pray for one another.

  549. Because Mrs. Smith who is 110 years old, prays for the healing.

  550. Maybe she prays for the healing for us.

  551. So we better go ask her.

  552. And therein is the aspect of hearing.

  553. Because Mrs. Smith at 110 may not know.

  554. But there have been occasions when I haven't gone and prayed for people because I know they would die in a couple of days and they did.

  555. And in one case the person thought it was cruel.

  556. But therein lay the truth.

  557. Yeah. So yes, it's important to know.

  558. Otherwise my prayer can be limited or your prayer for me can be limited by the environment of unbelief that I'm operating in.

  559. Yeah.

  560. But sometimes we so badly wish things for people that we want to see it come to pass.

  561. Sorry, go ahead.

  562. Yeah.

  563. So if I pray for someone, maybe they ask for something and they don't come and ask.

  564. They're going to see a need.

  565. Yeah.

  566. So it's talked about in the verse.

  567. So on a Monday night prayer here, we put down the requests on the board.

  568. And after that, these are requests that have been sent from different parts of the world sometimes.

  569. And so now what we have to do is we can't get in touch with the person.

  570. So we begin to ask God, Father, how do you want us to pray?

  571. And it's based on how he tells us to pray that we pray and we can't go beyond.

  572. We can't go less.

  573. We've got to pray according to what he's shown because at the end of the day, he's the one who moves.

  574. We got to hear.

  575. That's what happens.

  576. And so I believe that's the only legitimate way to do it.

  577. Hear and pray.

  578. That's how Jesus operated.

  579. Derek, do you have a question?

  580. Or it is just a lifting of hands.

  581. Lifting of hands.

  582. Okay.

  583. Guys, your faith or the lack of it will speak.

  584. Your faith or the lack of it speaks.

  585. Your faith or the lack of it speaks.

  586. And therefore it has the power to introduce into a situation life or decay.

  587. Your faith or the lack of it or my faith and the lack of it will speak.

  588. And because of that, it will introduce into situations either life or decay.

  589. And I find that sometimes when I first speak, when a situation confronts me, I seem to still speak decay into a situation because faith comes a little later.

  590. I want to stop that.

  591. I want the first words that come out of my mouth to be words that have in it life in every situation.

  592. The problem though is this faith movement, what it did is it started, it coaxed people to say things, confess things.

  593. But the problem with that was most people were saying things not because they believed it, but because by saying it they wanted to generate faith.

  594. So you need to ask yourself, when you say stuff, is it because you've heard it from God, you've read it of God, and you believe it?

  595. Or are you saying it to the people?

  596. So people say, I plead the blood, I plead the blood, I plead the blood, sickness is gone, sickness is gone, sickness is gone.

  597. Now it becomes a mantra that you're using to generate faith.

  598. While that is not evil, it's not the way God operates.

  599. God didn't practice, let there be light, let there be light, let there be light, let there be light.

  600. Okay, I'm ready now Knights, let there be light.

  601. And boom, it happened.

  602. No, no, no, no.

  603. He was absolutely convinced that when he says let there be light, let there be light, let there be light, let there be light.

  604. I'm absolutely convinced that when he says let there be light, there will be light.

  605. Am I convinced when I speak things that my absolute belief is it is from the word of God, this is God's nature, and therefore I speak it, and it shall bring life.

  606. Because to use confession and saying as a method to generate faith while not evil is not perfect God.

  607. And what are we aiming for, to be like Jesus?

  608. So let the actual work happen here and here, so that the words that come out of my mouth are words of life that come from the life giver who lives in me.

  609. The first step would be to know him through, I'm never able to dramatically wave my Bible when I want to make statements.

  610. The first thing to do is to know him through this.

  611. Yeah, no, I absolutely understood your question and I'm deliberately doing this because it is almost impossible to understand his will through hearing without a knowledge of this.

  612. That can happen for a while, but after a while God will say, listen, I'm going to tell you something.

  613. I'm going to tell you something.

  614. So this is what I know him from and then it makes it easier to recognize whether what he's saying is from God or not from God.

  615. What I'm hearing is from God or not from God.

  616. So this is where I start, and then I need to find out what he's saying and what he's saying.

  617. And then I need to find out what he's saying.

  618. easier to recognize whether what he's saying is from God or not from God.

  619. What I'm hearing is from God or not from God. So this is where I start

  620. and from here on I continue.

  621. Do you know that the woman with the issue of blood said that she would be

  622. healed

  623. when she touched Jesus' clothes? Till recently I didn't know that. I thought she

  624. just touched him

  625. and she got healed. But in Mark 5.28 it says, as she was going towards him she

  626. said

  627. if I touch him I will be healed.

  628. She was, pardon? Yeah.

  629. And the beautiful thing is she believed it man. She spoke it.

  630. That's what I meant by she wasn't saying if I touch him I will be healed. If I touch him I will be healed.

  631. It wasn't generating faith. It was a statement of faith.

  632. Saying guys

  633. is a little, saying carries two elements in it.

  634. Saying is, saying involves both

  635. authority and faith. Saying is commanding something in the immediate.

  636. Saying involves authority and faith. Faith comes by knowing the nature of God.

  637. Authority comes by being submitted to the nature of God.

  638. This is so important guys. I hope we get it today.

  639. Saying something involves, I'm not talking about confessing now.

  640. Jacob isn't that too fine a line when you divide confessing and saying? Perhaps.

  641. But let's go with it. Saying involves both authority

  642. and faith. Now faith comes by knowing the nature of God.

  643. Authority comes by submitting to the nature of God.

  644. That's why you have people who have faith

  645. but don't have authority. Because to exert authority I have to be under

  646. authority.

  647. The Centurion story. Therefore faith comes by knowing the nature of God.

  648. But authority comes by submitting to the nature of God

  649. and the order that God has established here on earth. Let me repeat again. This is

  650. so important that we get this. Faith

  651. comes by knowing the nature of God. Authority comes

  652. by submitting to the nature of God and the order that God has established on earth.

  653. This is one you have both combining and now you have people who are behaving

  654. like Jesus.

  655. That's how it,

  656. that's how both collide. Faith comes by knowing the nature of God.

  657. Authority comes by submitting to the nature of God and the order that God has

  658. established on earth.

  659. And those two combined.

  660. Do you see why sometimes demons don't flee?

  661. Why don't demons flee sometimes? You seem to be exerting faith.

  662. You know the nature of God. You know God is the deliverer.

  663. You know God is someone who has tremendous power. So how come when I'm

  664. exerting faith,

  665. demons are not being cast out? One of the reasons is perhaps I know the nature of

  666. God,

  667. but I'm not submitted to the nature of God nor to the order of God here on earth.

  668. And the demons know that I have faith, but they don't need to listen

  669. because Jacob is not submitted to the nature of God.

  670. So as I increase in my submission to the nature of God and the order of God, and

  671. what do I mean by the order of God? Order of God on earth is established

  672. through people. When I'm not submitted to the order of God,

  673. problem over. Sometimes it sounds silly,

  674. silly. There's order of God, but there is order.

  675. And I'll try my best to make sure that we walk in order here.

  676. And if it grates you and puts you off,

  677. leave. Because it's

  678. wiser to be submitted to the order of God than to stay

  679. in a place in rebellion because it'll cause problems anyways.

  680. Questions? Comments? Okay.

  681. It's only 11.30 guys. It seems long, but it's not. Actually it doesn't seem long.

  682. It seems very nice. Guys, when I'm in a crisis,

  683. my strengths, my relationship with God, my doubts, my defaults,

  684. and my relationship with others is brought to the surface.

  685. When I'm in a crisis, it doesn't increase my faith necessarily.

  686. It only reveals where I'm at. When I'm in a crisis, my strengths,

  687. my relationship with God, my doubts, and defaults in terms of how I think,

  688. and my relationship with others is brought to the surface.

  689. One of the strange things that happened when Marcus fell outside was

  690. I was highly aware of everything that was happening around me.

  691. I was so aware of almost everybody. And I was also aware of what I was doing.

  692. And I saw some glaring faults in the way I did things,

  693. and I was talking to Lorian about it this morning.

  694. But that aside, I also saw everyone reacting a certain way.

  695. And may I suggest to you that, like I said two Sundays ago,

  696. some of the ways you responded were great.

  697. But one of the things I did afterwards to go examine,

  698. what is it that I saw in myself that perhaps can improve?

  699. What is my reaction when I saw Marcus there?

  700. How long did I take to kick into supernatural gear?

  701. What was my first natural response? How did I behave thereafter?

  702. What was my response to Ryan and Lorian?

  703. And strangely enough, I was highly aware of all that you were doing.

  704. I looked inside the church and I could see what you were doing inside the church.

  705. And it's a good opportunity to examine and change anything that we need to

  706. because the crisis reveals these mindsets,

  707. our relationship with God and our relationship with each other.

  708. Guys, when you're in a crisis, quickly put the crisis against the backdrop of God.

  709. Quickly put the crisis against the backdrop of God.

  710. And sometimes it may allow you to bypass the whole battle.

  711. When you're in a crisis, quickly put the crisis against the backdrop of God.

  712. Because what we normally do is we juxtapose our crisis,

  713. and juxtapose is not a fancy word, it means just putting it against the background of.

  714. We juxtapose our crisis next to worst-case scenarios,

  715. our own ability,

  716. what the enemy, what the devil may do,

  717. other people's experience.

  718. So when a crisis comes our way,

  719. what we do is we immediately place our crisis against the backdrop of these four things,

  720. when we should be placing it against the backdrop of God.

  721. So what we do is as soon as a crisis happens,

  722. the first thing we think is what's the worst that can happen?

  723. The second thing we do is we see, okay, what can I do to fix this?

  724. The third thing we do is what is the devil trying to do?

  725. And the fourth thing to do is what did Elmer do when this happened to him?

  726. Or what happened to Elmer when this happened to him?

  727. These are the four scenarios that we usually use to think about.

  728. And all four are not helpful.

  729. Because the worst-case scenario immediately tells you,

  730. okay, this is going to happen, this is going to happen, this is going to happen,

  731. so that's the worst that can happen.

  732. Now anything better is, praise the Lord.

  733. No, the second thing is our ability.

  734. How can I crisis manage this?

  735. Third is what is the devil trying to do?

  736. The devil is trying to do what?

  737. He's trying to do what?

  738. He's trying to do what?

  739. He's trying to do what?

  740. He's trying to do what?

  741. Third is what is the devil trying to do?

  742. Where is he going to attack from?

  743. Which brings more fear.

  744. And the fourth is other people's experience, which is never helpful.

  745. You would?

  746. Okay, that's a very good experience.

  747. I'm talking about the negative experiences.

  748. Yeah.

  749. Oh, by the way, for those who need clarification,

  750. when Diana said Elmer stabbed himself, she actually meant exactly that.

  751. So, guys, this is not the way to go, eh?

  752. On Wednesday night, no, on Monday night, on Monday night,

  753. I come back from the airport, and I land in this airport called Chennai,

  754. and I'm at a friend's house, and my wallet's missing.

  755. And I know I pulled it out two minutes before the plane landed

  756. to pay for a duty-free thing on the flight, and I'm sure it's in the plane.

  757. I keep my wallet in my front pocket, so I'm always aware of it.

  758. And I was so glad that this was not how I operated.

  759. This came in at a moment, the worst-case scenario did kick in.

  760. Where I thought to myself, okay, I got my American Express, this and that,

  761. so what does that mean when I go to this hotel, and how do I pay?

  762. This did kick in after a while, but initially this wasn't my reaction.

  763. I remember calling someone and asking them to pray,

  764. and this person had lost something and had found it too,

  765. and I was sure that they would start praying.

  766. And so crazy man called up the airport, called up different places to try

  767. and find out that's the second time I've ever been to a hotel.

  768. I went to different places to try and find out that's the second our own ability,

  769. but thank God the first reaction was, Father, you know where it is, can you locate it?

  770. And I find it after an hour of absolute calmness,

  771. and everybody else in that house was calm to knowing that God will make it happen.

  772. Found it in a place that's impossible to find.

  773. This is when Diana will ask where, and I might say I'll tell you next week.

  774. Found it in a place where it's impossible for that wallet to be.

  775. Now you might say, no, no, you must have just kept it there.

  776. No man, I'm beginning to believe more and more in a supernatural God

  777. who makes things turn up impossibly through teleportation.

  778. Only it's called, what's the word when the guy appears in Asotus?

  779. Remember he was in, it was not translation, was it?

  780. Yeah, he got translated, yeah.

  781. I'm believing more and more in a God who is supernatural,

  782. and I'm trying to step back from always trying to diminish what God does

  783. through some reasonable explanation.

  784. I don't want to go to the other end either, where every time you smell something you say it's God.

  785. That's ridiculous too, sometimes it's just a bottle of perfume that tilted over.

  786. It wasn't God, it was just perfume.

  787. But the point is at the same time I don't want to diminish what he's doing

  788. by coming up with a reasonable explanation.

  789. We are so lodged in this thing called reasonable explanation.

  790. You've heard that drowning thing, right, the Egyptians?

  791. No? Some famous scientist said that there was only two feet of water in the Red Sea

  792. and that's why their slides crossed over.

  793. Very reasonable explanation, until some Bible scholar said

  794. God must have done something amazing when he drowned a whole army in two feet of water too.

  795. So there's always this reasonable explanation thing.

  796. Let me conclude.

  797. Yeah, I might bring the actual demo unit and show you.

  798. Because otherwise you won't be able to imagine where I found it.

  799. Yeah, the wallet is here.

  800. But, yeah.

  801. So guys, fear is my heart's response when I come into agreement

  802. with the intimidating suggestions of the devil.

  803. Hear this, huh? Fear is my heart's response when I come into agreement

  804. with the intimidating suggestions of the devil.

  805. And it only happens through my senses.

  806. My senses are used to see something, hear something, feel something, touch something, smell something

  807. and immediately come to the conclusion that this is going to happen.

  808. Fear is my heart's response when I come into agreement

  809. with the intimidating suggestions of the devil.

  810. Could you then rephrase it as fear then is faith in the devil?

  811. That sounds harsh. So if it's harsh, leave it alone. Go with the first line.

  812. Fear is my heart's response when I come into agreement with the intimidating suggestions of the devil.

  813. Next time you feel fear coming in, immediately spot where it's coming from the source.

  814. Why are you feeling afraid as you saw this? Who suggested it?

  815. It cannot be God, guys. Why? Because there is no fear in perfect love.

  816. Because whenever there's fear, it carries a sense of torment.

  817. Refuse intimidation, Jacob. Rise up.

  818. Don't accept things that God is not giving.

  819. But that's such an extreme position. We are trying to be like Jesus.

  820. Jesus is in extreme position.

  821. How about refusing sickness?

  822. We are part of the world. I understand.

  823. But how about trying to now not see sickness as the most natural thing that should happen to us?

  824. Why not even begin to think that way? What are you scared of?

  825. That when it happens, it will destroy your faith?

  826. Your faith is not built on sickness and healing. Your faith is built on Jesus. Christ.

  827. But that's such an extreme position. I'm beginning to get frightened of this church and what it stands for.

  828. It stands for what Jesus does and who Jesus said it was.

  829. This is not a faith movement church. This is not a name it, claim it church.

  830. But does it believe in things that Jesus stands on? Absolutely.

  831. Is that an extreme position? Yes, it is.

  832. We begin to start there. Does this mean that tomorrow, Jacob, for the rest of your life you will not fall sick?

  833. I would love to say that, but I'm not able to.

  834. Because actually, I'm not able to.

  835. Yet, I'm not able to.

  836. I'd love to stand here and say that's it. I'm absolutely convinced of it.

  837. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow.

  838. So Jacob, how are people going to die?

  839. Or they'll die when their heart stops?

  840. Is that called a heart attack?

  841. I'm not a doctor so I won't be able to help you with that.

  842. It's just like when Elijah's heart stopped.

  843. So Elijah's heart didn't stop. He went away happy.

  844. Elijah's heart stopped. David's heart stopped.

  845. Don't even know how Moses went.

  846. All we know is Moses disappeared. Enoch disappeared. Elijah disappeared.

  847. I know this is an extreme position, but I can't be afraid of it.

  848. I said let's conclude, so let's conclude.

  849. Guys, please understand. Why are you saying all this, Jacob?

  850. Because guys, we give life to things that God has already established by believing it in our heart and spirit.

  851. We give life to things that God has already established by believing it in our heart and speaking it out.

  852. By me stepping away from speaking it out, I say yes to decay that is already prevalent.

  853. And I cannot afford to do that. For whose sake? For my sake? No, for our sake.

  854. How do we learn through things that are spoken that begin to change our thinking?

  855. What should be taught? That which the Word of God teaches.

  856. What does the Word of God teach? A God who called himself Yahweh Rafa.

  857. A God who says nothing is impossible.

  858. Finally, Romans 8 verse 11.

    Romans 8:11

  859. It says the spirit gives life to my mortal body now and it raises me imperishable after death.

  860. That's not how it's worded. It says and the spirit of life will quicken your mortal body.

  861. What does it really mean there? It means that listen guys, after you die, the spirit of God will still quicken as in bring alive your mortal body in the sense of you getting a new body and immortality.

  862. That's one way of looking at it.

  863. But I would suggest to you that Romans 8 verse 11 is also saying that the spirit of God who now resides in this thing called the temple has the ability to quicken or to energize or to give life to this mortal body now and also to the mortal body.

    Romans 8:11

  864. So to be, because you and I are believers now, filled with the Holy Spirit, because we are led by the Holy Spirit, expect two or three things.

  865. One, expect to live free of the fear. Expect to live free of fear.

  866. Expect to live free of fear. It's possible.

  867. I don't know whether I told you this, maybe I said it at the Bible study.

  868. About four or five months ago, I don't remember the time frame, I suddenly found that I was getting easily scared by noises that were big or noises that happened suddenly.

  869. And that's not that hasn't been something that I've had to deal with.

  870. And I suddenly found four or five occasions over a short period where something small would trigger out this in me.

  871. And initially I ignored it, but it came to a point where I felt that shucks, this is becoming like a habit.

  872. And so immediately went and started reading the Bible.

  873. And I started reading the Bible.

  874. And I started reading the Bible.

  875. And I started reading the Bible.

  876. And I started reading the Bible.

  877. And I started reading the Bible.

  878. And so immediately went and started reading how to be secure in God so that my thinking and my mind and my emotions and my biochemistry won't react that way to fear.

  879. Because I don't want to fall into a trap of cultivating different areas of phobia.

  880. The Spirit of God lives in me.

  881. He will quicken this mortal body, leave alone that he will help raise it imperishable after death.

  882. He will quicken this mortal body because I'm led by the Spirit.

  883. I am a carrier, a temple of the Spirit of God.

  884. That's who I am.

  885. And so it will cause me to have three things happen to me.

  886. I am someone who is able to live free of fear.

  887. And so are you.

  888. Continuously getting to that place.

  889. I am someone able to live as free as the Son of God himself.

  890. Free of the approval of men.

  891. Free of the disapproval of men.

  892. Free of the fear of the Father as someone who would do something wrong to me.

  893. Free of torment because love has now been perfected between the Father and me.

  894. Oh, how I long for that day when I can taste it even for 24 hours.

  895. I have not spent a single 24 hour period in my life where I have been as free as the Son of God.

  896. Free of the approval and disapproval of people.

  897. Free of what you'll think.

  898. Free of how what you say may affect me.

  899. Free of what you'll think.

  900. Free of how what you say may affect me.

  901. Free of the fear of the Father as someone who would do something wrong to me.

  902. These dark shades sometimes that I see in my relationship with God where I am still not absolutely convinced that there is no fear or torment in God's love for me and my relationship with him.

  903. Where this unadulterated goodness thing I talked about is the way I think always.

  904. Still not come to a 24 hour period in my life where I've thought that.

  905. And I've already lived 40 something years.

  906. I mean, I'm probably in the second half of my life and I still haven't lived like that.

  907. And it pains me.

  908. So live free of the fear.

  909. Live free of this.

  910. Live free as a son and live in surprising wholeness here on earth.

  911. Live in surprising wholeness here on earth.

  912. As in don't live in healing.

  913. Live in health.

  914. We talk about it.

  915. I don't even know what it means.

  916. We keep talking about a God who heals.

  917. But how about a God who kept a million people in the desert in health for 40 years?

  918. What about that God?

  919. Don't even know what that means.

  920. So much we don't know.

  921. So much we don't know.

  922. So we come up with these cute phrases.

  923. Let's not talk about healing.

  924. Let's talk about living in health.

  925. Don't know what it means.

  926. Here's a prophetic word for you guys.

  927. Dawn to dusk.

  928. My power is available.

  929. Nothing blocks it.

  930. No locust swarm can block my power.

  931. For it stands out as light.

  932. Straight.

  933. Steady.

  934. Far reaching into every nook.

  935. Intense.

  936. Penetrating.

  937. Burning.

  938. Healing.

  939. Let me read that again.

  940. Dawn to dusk.

  941. My power is available.

  942. Nothing blocks it.

  943. B-L-O-T-S.

  944. Nothing blocks it.

  945. No locust swarm can block my power.

  946. For it stands out as light.

  947. Straight.

  948. Steady.

  949. Far reaching into every nook.

  950. Intense.

  951. Penetrating.

  952. Burning.

  953. Healing.

  954. Do you need courage to face the impossible?

  955. Then be anchored in this promise that I will be with you.

  956. Do you need courage for the impossible, Jacob?

  957. Then be anchored in this promise that I speak.

  958. I will be with you.

  959. One last time.

  960. Dawn to dusk.

  961. My power is available.

  962. Nothing blocks it.

  963. No locust swarm can block my power.

  964. For it stands out as light.

  965. Steady.

  966. Straight.

  967. Far reaching into every nook.

  968. Intense.

  969. Penetrating.

  970. Burning.

  971. Healing.

  972. Do you need courage to face the impossible?

  973. Then be anchored, my son, my daughter, in this promise that I speak.

  974. My daughter, in this promise that I will be with you.

  975. It's a shame that words like I love you and I will be with you mean nothing to us anymore.

  976. There used to be a hymn, remember?

  977. No never alone, I promise never to leave you, never to leave you alone.

  978. It means nothing when we sing it.

  979. It's like no, never alone, and you're thinking how long is this gonna drag on?

  980. And yet it's the most oft-repeated words in the Bible.

  981. I will be with you.

  982. That should be a fear remover.

  983. Show the world guys that that great day that the world is waiting for has come.

  984. What great day?

  985. The rule and the reign of Christ.

  986. What do you mean show it?

  987. That the rule and the reign of Christ has broken into your life.

  988. That the rule and the reign of Christ has broken into your life.

  989. Will you lock your door before you come to church if the rule and the reign of Christ was living in your house?

  990. Would you?

  991. If Christ lived in your house, would you lock your door?

  992. If Christ lived in your house, would you have a medicine cabinet?

  993. If Christ lived in your house, that's the reason we haven't taken our insurance yet guys.

  994. Not taken insurance.

  995. Sorry, not put alarms.

  996. Had to take insurance for the first time in our life because the owner insisted that we take insurance.

  997. Never taken insurance over the last eight years.

  998. Got to trust God on these things.

  999. Extreme view, it's not practical, it's not reasonable.

  1000. You're right.

1001. Scares the heck out of me on some days.

1002. Would you empty your medicine cabinet?

  1003. Absolutely.

1004. Would you have fear if Jesus was walking with you 24x7?

1005. No, all I do is run behind Jesus every time something happens.

1006. Would you have fear if Jesus was walking with you 24x7?

1007. No, all I do is run behind Jesus every time something happens.

  1008. Yes, he does.

1009. Thank God for doctors, man.

  1010. Thank God for doctors.

  1011. Yes, he does.

1012. Thank God for doctors, man.

  1013. Thank God for doctors.

1014. Would you have a normal walking routine?

  1015. Pardon?

1016. Perhaps if he turns his own walk and not his face?

  1017. Absolutely.

1018. Would you have a natural way of doing that?

1019. Is that where Jesus says he's doing it?

  1020. Yeah.

1021. Guys, I know I've said this before but here stands a man who for the last 25 years has never taken medicines or visited a doctor

1022. yet will drive you to a doctor the moment you want him to, whose brother-in-law is a doctor

1023. who thanks God for nurses in this church

1024. So there is a way to live that we can aspire for that we should practice. It is an extreme view but Jesus is extreme

1025. So if you have any questions about this feel free to come and ask me and I'll sit down one on one and give you everything

1026. There is a teaching I did in Vernon and it's called, And God was with him. It's from Acts 10.38

1027. Jesus went around delivering those who were harassed by the devil because God was with him

1028. And in that teaching we cover the whole gamut of this in its entirety. And I did it in Vernon and one day when the time is right we'll do it

1029. Guys, we are done. One of the things I want us to do is get ready for the next chapter
