Activating The Prophetic

You may have had God directly speak to you over the last couple of weeks

to give you an idea what the year should look like or would look like.

So I just want to give you these five quick points to help you now deal with the words that have been spoken over you,

be it by someone, be it directly or be it through the word.

The first one is, if you have received words over your life, then break.

You can only break silence. You have to break silence before you can break the curse.

Meaning that if your condition last year was a certain kind and it wasn't what you wanted it to be,

then if you have received a word from God, from the Bible, from somebody, from God directly speaking into your heart,

then you must break silence before you can break the curse, because God's words alter the future.

If God has spoken words over you, you must word them. You must word them.

You cannot break a curse until you break the silence.

We receive prophetic words and we even put them up on our wall, but we don't break silence.

We've got to break the silence.

Because God's words alter the future. It has always altered the future.

And so there is a necessity not to look at it, but to speak it.

Secondly, your voice is a forerunner. It goes ahead of you to prepare the path that the Spirit of God wants.

Your voice is a forerunner, as in it runs ahead of you.

It's like the small tugboat that pulls in the large ocean liner.

And so your voice is like a forerunner. It goes ahead of you.

If you think that what God has said over your life in the last couple of weeks that points to the future is from God,

then use your voice as a forerunner to begin to speak so that it clears a path.

It's like if you want to look at the word as a person with a machete going, clearing the bush so that you can walk through.

That is what your voice does. So use it. It's a forerunner. It goes ahead.

This is why God, before he does anything, sent someone.

Before Jesus came, he sent John the Baptist.

Before he wanted to turn Israel from its apostasy to God, he sent Elijah.

Before the rains came and he wanted the world to repent, he sent Noah.

He always sends someone. And why does he send someone?

Because it's a klaxon call saying, hey guys, can you hear?

Because if you can hear, then things can be avoided and things can be prepared.

In our case, it's our voice because God speaks directly to us now.

Thirdly, silence allows conditions that exist to prevail.

Silence allows conditions that exist to prevail.

Has God said something about your future, about your marriage, about your finances, about your work?

Then, well, silence will continue to, silence will allow conditions that exist to prevail.

And silence in the face of what others say also will allow conditions that exist to prevail.

As in, you will have someone come and say something to you that contradicts what God is saying.

And they are saying it based on sympathy, compassion, and what they have seen of your life over the last one year.

And they come and say it. Your job is to not let it go that way.

You have to speak. Not in argument, not in rebuking them, but saying, yeah, but. Yeah, but.

Fourth, voice the prophetic and you voice God's desire over you.

Voice the prophetic and you voice God's desire over you.

And what's wrong with that, man? He speaks, things grow.

He speaks, things are fruitful.

Voice the prophetic and you voice God's desire over you.

I want God's desire to be wrapped around me like Joseph's robe.

And finally, realize that the spirit world is listening.

And any command that I utter that relates to their activity is actually heard.

And if it is spoken with faith, it is also heeded.

The spirit world is always listening. You think right now that the spirit world,

I'm not talking about angels, angels stoop to listen anyways,

but you think the demonic realm is not listening right now?

And whenever, because they're always listening, any command that I utter that relates to their activities first heard,

and then it is heeded if it is spoken in faith.

I said this some time ago. All demonic enterprise is only by permission.

Meaning, any demonic activity has to be permitted.

And it has to be permitted either by God or by man.

And so it's with our words that we give permission.

Capiche? Cool.

Of which one?

Realize that the spirit world is listening to any command I utter that relates to their activity.

I'm looking in the Bible for stuff.

The fifth one, to come up with examples. I can give anecdotal evidence, but I'm thinking of...

No, yeah, the fifth one.

Stories from the Bible that would give evidence of that.

Pardon?

Yeah, but that was a command.

I'm saying when we speak, the spirit world is listening.

I want an example from the Bible of that.

Yeah, Acts 16, where Paul is walking around and he's saying things,

and there is this woman who pretends to be a person who's announcing the things of God,

but she's actually a woman who's announcing the things of God.

She pretends to be a person who's announcing the things of God,

but she's actually a woman who's been captured by a demon of divination,

and she begins to operate as one who's saying these are the servants of the most high God.

And it turns annoying because Paul knows that this is not from God, this is from the demonic.

The demonic realm is always listening.

They have no idea of anything of the future.

They only know patterns in your life and the words you speak.

So whenever they do anything in the future, it's based on patterns that they've seen in your life.

Whenever they predict anything in the future, it's first always by telling you about your past.

Any demonic divination is only by telling you about the past first,

because they know what your father did, they know what your grandfather did, your sister did, your mother did.

They've been watching, but they cannot predict the future.

So they'll always tell you the past, and now that they're hooked,

you or a person, now they can tell you the future.

It's an old trick.

Yeah, Paul I know, Jesus I know, but I don't think they said who the heck are you,

but if they said that it would be right up the alley.

Cool. So just remember this, and then once you begin to voice it because you know it is God,

then comes the part where action needs to be taken, and we'll deal with that another day.

Just hang around for five minutes, do what you want to, and then we'll go into the teaching.
