  1. Hey guys, so today what we'll do is take you to the next place the Holy Spirit wants to

  2. go.

  3. And so I want to remind you of something we said on Sunday.

  4. We said revival is knowing the greatness and the nearness of God.

  5. One of the things that happens in a revival is that you get to know the greatness and

  6. the nearness of God.

  7. One of the things that happens out of knowing both his greatness and his nearness is that

  8. it just ramps up your boldness.

  9. That is something the Spirit of God brings, because he alone can bring it.

  10. The New Testament, again and again, and the Old Testament, gives evidence of how whenever

  11. the Spirit of God fell, be it upon Samson or be it upon Saul or be it upon David, that

  12. there was a boldness that was unheard of.

  13. And so that's what we're going to talk about today, because we need this boldness for the

  14. revival that God is bringing.

  15. Guys, remember this is not for Acts 29, it's for the city, it's for the churches in this

  16. city, it's for other cities, it's for nations eventually.

  17. This so happens that it's being sparked here.

  18. So your cry should be for homes of other Christians that know the sudden awareness of God, both

  19. his greatness and his nearness.

  20. God does it sovereignly, that's the beauty in a revival, you don't have to do nothing.

  21. We talked about this yesterday.

  22. Jesus intercedes and the Holy Spirit pours himself with extraordinary power.

  23. So one of the things that's birthed in a revival is a people of great boldness, great boldness.

  24. And so knowing the greatness and the nearness of God brings great boldness.

  25. It happens with children too, knowing the greatness of their dad and the nearness of

  26. their dad always makes children bolder.

  27. They attempt things they would not attempt, because they know dad is there and he's big

  28. and he's very close.

  29. Some other words for boldness that the Bible uses are courage and strength.

  30. Both are words used for boldness.

  31. What we don't realize is that the word comforter, which is often what the Holy Spirit is known

  32. as, comes from two Latin words, comforte, as in with strength.

  33. So when we think of him as comforter, as in one whose shoulder you can cry on, it actually

  34. comes from this idea of someone who is with strength.

  35. That is the idea of comforter.

  36. So boldness, courage and strength is part of who the Holy Spirit is and he forms the

  37. people that are caught up in what God is sovereignly doing upon the earth into people that have

  38. unusual boldness.

  39. And so today what we're going to do is just pray for that boldness.

  40. That's all we'll be doing today, just praying for that boldness.

  41. Boldness for what?

  42. Boldness for what?

  43. I'd say the first thing is the boldness to wrestle with God.

  44. The boldness to wrestle with God, to not let go, to say if you don't change me, if you

  45. don't rename me, if you don't rename what you have promised, I will not let go.

  46. Your hip is out of joint, your hand is out of joint, you're holding on for dear life,

  47. but you will not let go because there's a new boldness upon you to insist on God delivering

  48. what he has promised and God likes that.

  49. I want this boldness.

  50. I've lost some of it when I was a beginner, as a believer, my God, man, I could sink my

  51. teeth into God and not let go.

  52. I want to be in that place again where I can go back to some of the things Jacob actually

  53. did.

  54. I desire that for us, say, you said, you said, oh God, you said, oh God, you said, oh God,

  55. you said, what?

  56. I'm not in alignment?

  57. Okay, show me how to get into alignment, but you said, oh God, you said, I will not let

  58. go, you said you're bringing this revival, you said it, we wouldn't have started this,

  59. you said it.

  60. This ability, this boldness to wrestle with God, and as I pray, guys, may change your

  61. posture even as I pray.

  62. May you not slump and sit, may change your posture even as I pray.

  63. It is hard to preach these things and not have something happen within me.

  64. And that has not happening because I hear my voice because I hear it throughout the

  65. day and it's not new.

  66. I talk to myself.

  67. It should be because of the Spirit of God doing something within you.

  68. The terrible thing about wearing masks is I never know if you're smiling.

  69. So these jokes get worse by the minute because I really think you're actually laughing your

  70. head off behind the mask.

  71. So the first thing is to the boldness to wrestle with God, the boldness to wrestle with God.

  72. I pray that for us, say that this church and those that are walking with us and those that

  73. are listening to you, to us, will not try for a day, two days, seven days, eight days,

  74. and then decide, well, we gave it our best shot.

  75. This doesn't work like that.

  76. Elijah had already seen fire fall on Carmel.

  77. He had the faith required to stop the rain for three years and then to predict rain happening

  78. in a few hours.

  79. Yet, look at him, he goes up and he begins to cry out to God saying, you said, you said,

  80. he sends his servant down seven times.

  81. All he wants to see is a fist-sized cloud and then he'll go home happy.

  82. But till he sees that fist-sized cloud, he rolls up like a foetus on top of a mountain

  83. and will not get up till he sees the fist-sized cloud.

  84. There's something to boldness which carries in it heaven's conviction, boldness carries

  85. in it heaven's conviction, urgency.

  86. It carries in it heaven's conviction, urgency, voice, and completion.

  87. This is important.

  88. I pray God that we go back to this teaching in the future so that we don't flag in our

  89. zeal when these seven days are over.

  90. God only knows whether it's going to stop in seven days.

  91. One of the things boldness carries is heaven's conviction.

  92. It is impossible to be bold without a conviction from heaven that this is what I want you to

  93. be strong about, courageous about, bold about.

  94. I must know it inside of me and this is why we keep going back to the word that was spoken

  95. to us and say, this is what God is saying.

  96. And guys, I've read it at least 10, 11, 12 times and it still hasn't sunk in.

  97. It is so enormous that I'm not able to even remotely carry it, but I have to keep going

  98. back and reading it again and again and again.

  99. It carries heaven's conviction.

  100. It carries an urgency, meaning it sets your feet on fire.

  101. This is not something, tomorrow, tomorrow we won't be meeting here because the church

  102. is being used for some other service and so we won't be meeting here.

  103. But tomorrow, I'm not going to put my feet up.

  104. Tomorrow I'm going to call one or two people and pray my heart out as God shows and then

  105. look forward to day after.

  106. There's an urgency to this.

  107. Man, when revivals come, there is a timeframe.

  108. There is a definite timeframe.

  109. It isn't this flexy thing.

  110. There is a voice to revival.

  111. Words have to be spoken.

  112. Boldness loses momentum when proclamation is silenced.

  113. Boldness loses momentum when proclamation is silent.

  114. There is a voice to revival.

  115. You go to the valley of bones, there was a voice that brought things to pass.

  116. God had to say to Ezekiel, can you speak to these bones?

  117. So please, behind those masks, speak.

  118. Behind those doors in your house, speak.

  119. Even if you're alone, speak.

  120. There is a voice to revival.

  121. And then there is completion to revival.

  122. It has to be completed.

  123. It has to be finished.

  124. There is no completion without the boldness to see it to the end, to finish it, to finish it.

  125. We are in this for the long haul.

  126. We are in this for the long haul.

  127. This is not a seven-day event.

  128. We are not into an event right now.

  129. We're into something God wants to do on the earth.

  130. I keep repeating that because we need to actually get to a point where we actually think so.

  131. You know, let me read.

  132. I don't know why God has so connected us to this revival that happened in the outer Hebrides.

  133. But I'm just reading a writing by Duncan Campbell, one of the guys who was there and later visited

  134. another island closed by in 1952.

  135. So listen to this.

  136. Barnera is a small island off the coast of Harris with a population of about 400.

  137. In April 1952, it was my privilege to visit this parish and witness one of the most remarkable

  138. movements of the revival.

  139. Here, as in other districts, there were men who on their faces before God.

  140. Men, men, we have to be on our faces.

  141. That's the other beautiful thing about revival.

  142. It often starts with women, but the men get involved.

  143. The Waynes, the Kamals, the Elmers, the Marcus's, the Jacob's, not the young adults, the older

  144. men on their faces crying out to God.

  145. Men who on their faces, Gary, Lauren, guys in Vernon.

  146. Here, as in other districts, there were men who are Mike.

  147. There were men who on their faces before God cried out for an outpouring of his spirit.

  148. And an incident occurred which goes to demonstrate the power of the power of prevailing prayer

  149. and to reveal how true it is that the secret of the Lord is with them that fear him.

  150. One morning an elder of the Church of Scotland was greatly exercised in spirit.

  151. It's such old Englishy writing.

  152. One morning an elder of the Church of Scotland was greatly exercised in spirit as he thought

  153. of the state of the church and the growing carelessness towards Sabbath observance and

  154. public worship.

  155. While waiting upon God, this good man was strangely moved and was able to pray the prayer

  156. of faith and lay hold upon the promise, I will be as the dew unto Israel.

  157. I will be as the dew unto Israel.

  158. That's a promise he grabbed.

  159. This word from God came with such conviction and power that he was assured that revival

  160. was going to sweep the island and in that confidence he rose from his knees.

  161. This is something I want.

  162. I've been crying to God from yesterday.

  163. Father, give me the kind of assurance that will bring me to my knees just because I want

  164. to be on my knees, not because I'm not convinced of this.

  165. The enormity of this I still struggle with.

  166. To be absolutely sure it is done and I get up off my knees.

  167. This is how we need to be like Elijah.

  168. Absolutely sure the rain will come.

  169. Sure, he's looking for the fifth size cloud but he knows the rain will come.

  170. He already prophesied it.

  171. This is the mix eh?

  172. Knowing that I have the assurance, we have the assurance that as we worship, as we pray,

  173. as we meet again that across the city homes are being awakened and empowered.

  174. That across the city dry churches, dry homes, dry Christian families do not understand what

  175. has happened but something triggers.

  176. This is what revivals are made of.

  177. Something happens internally by the sovereign work of God not because someone preached or

  178. someone watched this live stream.

  179. Cry out for this guys.

  180. Participate with God.

  181. Participate in the intercession of Christ and the visitation of the Holy Spirit first

  182. upon this city, upon churches, cities, nations where for some strange reason you will find

  183. God is doing will become like a magnet that attracts the young.

  184. It doesn't matter how old you are, how young you are.

  185. You can be Tate's age or you can be Gisela's age but for some strange reason because you've

  186. connected to what God is doing, young between the teenagers, the 20s, 30s and 40s will be

  187. drawn to you and when they come to you, out of the substance in you, you will begin to

  188. speak across the earth over a period of two to three years and thank God most of us will

  189. see the fruit of God's labor, not our labor.

  190. This good man was strangely moved and was able to pray the prayer of faith and lay hold

  191. upon the promise, I will be as due unto Israel.

  192. This word from God came with such conviction and power that he was assured that revival

  193. was going to sweep the island and in that confidence he rose from his knees.

  194. While this man was praying in this barn, I myself, the writer Duncan Campbell, taking

  195. part in the faith mission convention at Bangor in Northern Ireland was suddenly arrested

  196. by the conviction that I must leave at once and go to the island of Bernera where I found

  197. myself within three days.

  198. Most immediately on arriving, I was in the midst of a most blessed movement.

  199. Again the promise was being fulfilled, I will pour water upon him that is thirsty and floods

  200. upon the dry ground.

  201. The first few meetings were very ordinary but the prayers offered by the elders of the

  202. congregation breathed the confidence in the sure promise of God, breathed the confidence

  203. in the sure promise of God and again and again reference was made to the words of Psalm 50

    Psalms 50:3

  204. verse 3, God shall surely come.

  205. They did not wait long for the fulfillment of the word from God.

  206. One evening, just as the congregation was leaving the church and moving down towards

  207. the main road, the Spirit of God fell upon the people in Pentecostal power, no other

  208. word can describe it and in a few minutes the awareness of the presence of the Most

  209. High became so wonderful and subduing that one could say with Jacob of old, surely the

  210. Lord is in this place.

  211. There under open heavens and by the roadside, the voice of prayer was mingled with groans

  212. of the penitent as free grace awoke men with light from on high.

  213. Soon the whole island was in the grip of a mighty movement of the Spirit bringing deep

  214. conviction of sin and a hunger for God.

  215. Boldness will have us step out in obedience guys, boldness will have us step out in obedience,

  216. step out in obedience.

  217. In the middle of something you will hear God saying go somewhere, you won't hesitate,

  218. you will step out in obedience, you will run and convey things without amending it, you

  219. will run and convey what you have to without amendment, you won't amend it, you won't

  220. amend it, it doesn't matter what the cost is that you will have to pay, maybe a lower

  221. salary, a loss of job, disapproval, doesn't matter how you may be disapproved, it doesn't

  222. matter what the threat is and what the intimidation is, this is what happens when the Holy Spirit

  223. shows up in times of revival.

  224. We'll read that in Acts chapter 4, verse 24 to 31 and then pray.

    Acts 4:24–31

  225. So I'm calling you, I'm calling anybody who hears this, I'm calling you at Acts 29 and

  226. Vernon and in Bahrain and in Australia and in other places that is, this will be heard,

  227. step out of the shadows, step out of the shadows, step out of the winepress, step out of holding

  228. two opinions and trying to juggle them and see which one would be more advantageous,

  229. step out of the shallows, go deep and cast your net, step out of silence, step out of

  230. sitting on the fence, step out of timidity, step out of safety, step out of religion,

  231. step out of self-preservation, step out of analysis, step out of inaction, step out of

  232. waiting for things to work out, step out for conducive conditions, step out of cutoffs

  233. that if I make so much money then I will serve the Lord, if once I get this house then I

  234. will serve the Lord, once I get the business started then I will serve the Lord, no cutoffs,

  235. step out of the fear of money, step out of the fear of not taking care of your family,

  236. step out of the fear of work, step out of the fear of what your friends will think,

  237. step out of the fear of the unknown, I'm supposed to call out us from these things, step out

  238. of these into boldness. Let me go to Acts chapter 4, 24 to 31 and then we'll pray.

    Acts 4 chapter mention

  239. Acts 4, 24 to 31. When they heard the report all the believers lifted their voices to the

  240. world together in prayer to God.

  241. Oh sovereign Lord, creator of heaven and earth, the sea and everything in them, you spoke

  242. long ago by the Holy Spirit through our ancestor David your servant, saying, why were the nations

  243. so angry, why did they waste their time with futile plans? The kings of the earth prepared

  244. for battle, the rulers gathered together against the Lord and against the Messiah. In fact

  245. This has happened here in this very city for Herod, Antipas, Pontius Pilate, the governor,

  246. the Gentiles and the people of Israel were all united against Jesus, your holy servant,

  247. whom you anointed.

  248. But everything they did was determined beforehand according to your will.

  249. And now, O Lord, hear their threats and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching

  250. your word.

  251. Stretch out your hand with healing power.

  252. May miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus.

  253. After this prayer, the meeting place shook and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit.

  254. Then they preached the word of God with boldness.

  255. So here are the things that we will do in terms of prayer.

  256. One verse 24 says, they raised their voices together.

  257. They raised their voices together.

  258. Verse 24 also says that they began acknowledging God as sovereign creator.

  259. They acknowledged God as sovereign creator.

  260. Verse 25 and 26, they recounted God's revelation.

  261. They recounted God's revelation.

  262. They recounted God's revelation.

  263. They read the revival word that we have.

  264. Let me read something else from 1949.

  265. In 1949, the spirit of grace and supplication fell upon a congregation on the Isle of Louis

  266. in the Hebrides.

  267. They prayed for revival.

  268. Will you not revive us again that your people may rejoice in you?

  269. Show us your mercy, Lord, and grant us your salvation.

  270. Psalm 85, verse 6 and 7.

    Psalms 85:6

  271. One night they crowded into the home of the blacksmith, of a blacksmith, a smith called

  272. Smith, but the spiritual atmosphere was dry.

  273. A sense of deadness prevailed as one after another tried to break through in prayer.

  274. Duncan Campbell, a visiting evangelist, called on Mr. Smith to pray.

  275. The prayer was short and sharp.

  276. Why am I reading this to you?

  277. It is so critical to recount what God has revealed.

  278. So critical.

  279. He asked Mr. Smith to pray.

  280. The prayer was short and sharp.

  281. Oh God, you made a promise to pour water upon him that is thirsty and floods upon dry ground.

  282. And Lord, it's not happening.

  283. He paused and then continued in a rising voice.

  284. Lord, I do not know how Mr. Campbell or these other men stand with you, but if I know my

  285. own heart, I know that I am thirsty.

  286. You have promised to pour water on him who is thirsty.

  287. If you don't do it, how can I ever believe you again?

  288. Your honor is at stake.

  289. You're a covenant-keeping God.

  290. Fulfill your covenant engagement.

  291. At that instant, the granite house shook like a leaf and a power was unleashed that swept

  292. the entire parish.

  293. Campbell said, I could only stand in silence as wave after wave of divine powers swept

  294. the house and in a matter of minutes following this heaven-sent visitation, men and women

  295. were on their face in distress of soul.

  296. He steps outside and discovered that the whole village was astir.

  297. Though it was 11 o'clock at night, people with lanterns and flashlights were making

  298. their way along the roads and across the fields towards the meeting place as if summoned by

  299. a silent bell.

  300. This was written by someone from Acts 29.

  301. When I was 17, I heard about a Moravian church leader who just before he passed on to heaven

  302. said that God would bring a revival or an awakening to the Pacific Northwest that would

  303. touch all the Pacific coast of Canada and the U.S.

  304. Since then, I've reminded God every so often about this word.

  305. When we were at the hall on Ross Street, I would sit looking at our wall unit that declared

  306. our mandate to the world.

  307. As I sat there, I felt and heard the Lord saying, you do not have any idea of what I'm

  308. going to accomplish through you.

  309. A revival in Canada that touches the world is now to become a fabulous reality.

  310. Glory!

  311. This was written by someone who's been a long-timer at Acts 29.

  312. Verse 25 and 26, recount God's revelation as written down.

  313. Read the revival word.

  314. Verse 27 and 28, exalt Jesus.

  315. Verse 29, confront our fears and threats.

  316. Verse 29, give us boldness that we may speak.

  317. Give us boldness that we may speak.

  318. Verse 30, heal, do mighty works, miracles in Jesus, through Jesus.

  319. Verse 31, the assurance of divine favor in the shaking of the place they were meeting.

  320. Whether the building actually fully shook or the experience of shaking inside, I do

  321. not know, but the assurance of divine favor, the sense that the place began to shake as

  322. a earthquake.

  323. And then finally, the Spirit of God filling them, and they went out.

  324. That's how we will pray now.

  325. It's 8.30.

  326. We will start praying.

  327. Before we pray, I'm going to ask Emily to sing a song that she wrote about what God

  328. is doing at present.

  329. And after she finishes singing that, we'll start praying this.

  330. I've got a few guys on Zoom that will pray in between when I ask them to.

  331. So if Sue and Eric and the Bergman kids can get ready.

  332. Yep.

  333. So if you can put up the words, this is a song written specifically for what God is

  334. doing in our midst.

  335. So you may not be able to sing it, but listen to the words, or see the words and listen

  336. to them.

  337. And then we start praying.

  338. What happened?

  339. What happened?

  340. I love that.

  341. I love that.

  342. It feels like I'm going to take a picture with you.

  343. I'm going to take a picture with you.

  344. Just grab my phone.

  345. Let me start praying.

  346. Okay, guys, let's go.

  347. Let's go.

  348. Let's go.

  349. Let's go.

  350. Let's go.

  351. Let's go.

  352. Let's go.

  353. Let me start praying.

  354. Okay, guys, let's go.

  355. In the church

  356. Wait, wait, wait, wait.

  357. In your body here on earth

  358. there will be

  359. a new tavern nothing but the Spirit of God

  360. In the church

  361. In your body here on earth there will be

  362. A new tavern hackling of the Spirit of God

  363. So come Spirit come

  364. Like a rushing fire we surrender to the flames

  365. So come Spirit come

  366. Let your presence fill your people

  367. As revival comes again

  368. So come

  369. In the company

  370. Of the prophets and apostles

  371. On the weak and the strong

  372. And the young and the old

  373. We'll flow the Spirit of God

  374. In the company

  375. Of the prophets and apostles

  376. On the weak and the strong

  377. And the young and the old

  378. We'll flow the Spirit of God

  379. So come Spirit come

  380. Like a rushing fire we surrender to the flames

  381. So come Spirit come

  382. Let your presence fill your people

  383. As revival comes again

  384. So come Spirit come

  385. Like a rushing fire we surrender to the flames

  386. So come Spirit come

  387. Let your presence fill your people

  388. As revival comes again

  389. So come

  390. If you desire transfiguration

  391. Of your body in accordance

  392. With the revelation you have given us

  393. By your will and for your pleasure

  394. In these scattered bones together

  395. We want to be a people where your glory dwells

  396. If you desire transfiguration

  397. Of your body in accordance

  398. With the revelation you have given us

  399. By your will and for your pleasure

  400. In these scattered bones together

  401. We want to be a people where your glory dwells

  402. So come Spirit come

  403. Like a rushing fire we surrender to the flames

  404. So come Spirit come

  405. Let your presence fill your people

  406. As revival comes again

  407. Gold and silver

  408. Are merely trinkets in your eyes

  409. But you speak endless, jealous, perfect word

  410. For the children of God

  411. Gold and silver

  412. Are merely trinkets in your eyes

  413. But you speak endless, jealous, perfect word

  414. For the children of God

  415. Amen

  416. Amen

  417. So raise your voices Church

  418. Father we just raise our voice

  419. And we pray that you will come

  420. And we pray that you will come

  421. And we pray that you will come

  422. And we pray that you will come

  423. And we pray that you will come

  424. And we pray that you will come

  425. And we pray that you will come

  426. And we pray that you will come

  427. And we pray that you will come

  428. And we pray that you will come

  429. And we pray that you will come

  430. And we pray that you will come

  431. Father we just raise our voices to you

  432. And we begin by acknowledging you as sovereign creator

  433. And we begin by acknowledging you as sovereign creator

  434. We begin, I cannot hear the guys within

  435. I obviously can't hear the guys at home

  436. But we raise our voices

  437. Father we raise our voices

  438. We acknowledge you as sovereign creator

  439. Sovereign creator, there is no one like you

  440. You alone are possessor of the universe

  441. You alone are lord of heaven and earth

  442. You created everything

  443. You are God, do what you want

  444. Nobody can stop you, no one can question you

  445. You are the potter, how can the clay come and say

  446. What are you doing?

  447. Can't say that, you are sovereign

  448. You are El Elion, El Shaddai

  449. We bless you O God, mighty possessor of the universe

  450. Mighty possessor of the universe

  451. You do what you want and you do good

  452. You do what you want and you do good

  453. I'm reminded of C.S. Lewis' lines

  454. Tame, he's not tame, he's a lion

  455. But he is good

  456. I thank you O God that you are not tame

  457. That you have not been domesticated by churches

  458. That you O God are a lion

  459. But you are good

  460. And we worship you O God

  461. We worship you, we worship you

  462. We lift our voices and we worship you Jesus

  463. Father we are here to ask you for boldness

  464. For a boldness Father to descend upon us

  465. We're not asking for something you don't want to give

  466. We are asking for something that is reserved for us

  467. We are asking for something that is reserved for us

  468. I ask bij for a boldness that is reserved for me

  469. I ask for a boldness that is reserved for me

  470. I ask for a boldness from the sovereign creator of heaven and earth

  471. To give me a boldness that is reserved for me

  472. That is reserved for this church

  473. Where suddenly the littlest runt amongst us

  474. Becomes a mighty warrior

  475. That is scripture

  476. It says the littlest runt amongst us

  477. Will become a mighty warrior

  478. That kind of boldness

  479. Where there are no lions on the street that we will not confront

  480. I thank you Father, I praise you

  481. I begin to believe this word and know O God

  482. That with the boldness that you will give us

  483. We will be able to run in this word

  484. That we will be able to run in this word

  485. Father this is not something I'm asking for

  486. That has to be cajoled out of you

  487. This is something that is reserved for me

  488. It is reserved for us

  489. O Brakabayashem, Father Brakabayasoh

  490. Holy Spirit that comes with your presence and your coming

  491. Comforter, comfortay, with strength

  492. Come O God with strength

  493. Come O God as we turn our faces to you

  494. As we raise our voices together and ask for a boldness

  495. Let something transpire inside O God

  496. Let our spirits be touched by the Holy Spirit

  497. Let my spirit be touched by the Holy Spirit

  498. Let a new boldness arise

  499. Let your nearness and greatness

  500. Let your nearness and greatness become something that I become aware of right now

  501. Ibraka, Faya, Braka, Sherebia

  502. If anyone wants to go up to the mic and speak feel free

  503. Ika, Yara, Bafaya, Shukra, Faham, Dey, Rabaka

  504. O Rabra, Faya, Rara, Shukra

  505. Guys even if I go off mic please don't stop

  506. You have your voice Ibraka, Rabokafya

  507. Can you cut my mic off for a little while?

  508. Thank you

  509. Thank you

  510. Thank you

  511. Thank you

  512. Call glory!

  513. Yeah

  514. So, who's going to speak now?

  515. Okay, Sue, you're on.

  516. Feel free to pray.

  517. Okay.

  518. Could we pray together?

  519. Can you hear me?

  520. So, Father, we come as one body.

  521. United in one spirit.

  522. The spirit that you have given us.

  523. The spirit of power.

  524. Father, some time ago, you called this body of ours.

  525. Body of Judah, tribe of Judah.

  526. We come with praise.

  527. Some of us have been waiting for this minute like Anna did.

  528. To see your mighty power to come across this land.

  529. Actually starting with Vancouver.

  530. Father, as we go forth, I pray that every single one of us here, at the sound of my

  531. voice, we would step out with your power and glory.

  532. Great things would be done in your name for your sake.

  533. Waves after waves of your glory, oh God.

  534. Oh God, we come before you.

  535. And we say without you, we are nothing.

  536. We go forth with your power, Lord.

  537. Bringing your word to the dead.

  538. Racing them up.

  539. I say step up.

  540. Step out of your comfort zone.

  541. And follow God.

  542. You said in Acts number 532, you said the Holy Spirit was given to everyone who was

  543. obedient to you.

  544. Father, we follow your voice.

  545. You said that you are near to us and your power is in us.

  546. As we speak your word, Lord.

  547. Let the power and glory fall upon every single one of the believers.

  548. And many unbelievers would come to know who you are.

  549. As the flood of glory has started to come in, on the parched land, oh God, we give you

  550. all our worship.

  551. We give you all our praise because without you, we are nothing.

  552. We are so hungry for you, God.

  553. So we are stepping into your glory right now.

  554. Amen.

  555. Thank you, Father.

  556. Thank you, Father.

  557. Thank you, Father.

  558. Thank you, Father.

  559. Father, we just straight out of hands and receive the boldness reserved for us.

  560. And in receiving boldness, we receive you, Holy Spirit.

  561. You are the one who makes me bold.

  562. So I receive, Holy Spirit, that empowering towards boldness.

  563. That there will be a new posture that I take starting tonight.

  564. That there will be a new assurance, a new confidence in the crucified and risen Christ.

  565. In the word that has been released to us, saying, oh, you of little strength, through

  566. you, I will bring the ship back on course and collect for myself a multitude of young

  567. people, multitudes of young people.

  568. Oh, sovereign God, oh, sovereign God, oh, sovereign God, you will have your way.

  569. We bless you, Father.

  570. Father, we just want to listen to what Eric has to say now as he prays of us.

  571. Can you hear me?

  572. Yeah, go ahead.

  573. Okay.

  574. Jesus, your name is holy.

  575. And it's your name that you want us to speak with boldness.

  576. It's your holy name.

  577. Eric, you'll have to speak louder.

  578. Can you hear me now?

  579. Yeah, you'll have to hold it that way.

  580. Okay, I'll hold it this way.

  581. Jesus, you have ordained that we would speak your name.

  582. It's in your name that I declare that muzzles be broken off of us now.

  583. That this Canadian political correctness would be shattered from us.

  584. These political sensitivities would be shattered and we would speak boldly your name

  585. because your name is holy.

  586. Your name is holy and you desire for your holy name to no longer be profaned among the nations.

  587. You want your holy name to be vindicated among the nations.

  588. So we pray that you would loose our tongues.

  589. You said, you have said that if we open our mouths, you will fill it.

  590. You will fill our mouths.

  591. So we just have to open our mouths.

  592. So this muzzle is gone in your mighty name that we would open our mouths and you would fill it.

  593. That this would not be a flash in the pan thing.

  594. That this would not just be one-offs here and there.

  595. That we would walk in the boldness and confidence that we have approached the throne of grace every day, every morning.

  596. That we come through you with boldness to the Father and we know who we are.

  597. We know where we stand and it's in that that we can declare your mighty name.

  598. That it would be made famous in Vancouver and in Vernon and in Bahrain and everywhere else, Father.

  599. That your name would become famous again.

  600. That we would not stand by and watch in horror as your name is drug through the mud on the news.

  601. That we would be the ones who go forward carrying it like a torch, like a flame.

  602. That we would shine in our cities as we speak boldly.

  603. We thank you, Father.

  604. We thank you for your promise that you will do all of this.

  605. You will vindicate your holy name through us.

  606. We do not have to muster up.

  607. We simply have to obey and open our mouths and you will fill and you will fill not just with a trickle, Father.

  608. You are an eternal fountain and aquifer underneath the surface and may it break through.

  609. May the shell of dullness be broken through.

  610. May the shell of security be broken through.

  611. That we would just have your eternal fountain bubble up and over and out of us.

  612. Everywhere we would go, we would shine with the glory of your countenance in our faces and that we would speak your name mightily.

  613. We pray this for your glory, for your glory in Jesus' name.

  614. Thank you, Father.

  615. Thank you, Father.

  616. Father, before the Bergmans come on, I just want to put up or read out what you said will happen.

  617. Just the word again, Abba.

  618. And here's what it says.

  619. So don't be afraid.

  620. I am with you.

  621. I will pour out water on the thirsty land and streams on the dry ground.

  622. I will pour out my spirit on your offspring and my blessing on your descendants.

  623. I will bring your children from the east and gather them from the west.

  624. I will send orders north and south.

  625. I will say to the north, give them up, and to the south, do not hold them back.

  626. Return my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth.

  627. I want them back, every last one who bears my name, every man, woman, and child whom I created for my glory.

  628. How wonderful and beautiful they will be.

  629. Young men will thrive on abundant grain.

  630. Young women will flourish on new wine.

  631. They will spring up among the grass like willows by the watercourses.

  632. You will raise up young men and young women, bishops, strong apostolic ministries, strong teachers going out from your company,

  633. and they will reproduce this anointing.

  634. Your young people will freely join you at the break of dawn with all the vigor of youth,

  635. resplendent in holy armor on the day of your conquest.

  636. Father, we just keep repeating this word.

  637. It requires us to speak on your behalf.

  638. It requires us to gather them on your behalf.

  639. It requires us to carry them on our backs.

  640. It requires us to raise them, to train them.

  641. You will do the work. We will be your hands and feet and mouth.

  642. And now as the Bergman kids pray, I just thank you that out of the mouth of babes, as you say in Psalm 8 verse 2, Lord.

    Psalms 8:2

  643. I just want to read this.

  644. You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength, silencing your enemies and all who oppose you.

  645. Oh, Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth.

  646. Your glory is higher than the heavens.

  647. You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength,

  648. silencing the enemies and all who oppose you.

  649. Father, as they pray about, I just thank you that heaven listens.

  650. Go ahead. Go ahead, Ari.

  651. I pray that Jesus, you will give us boldness to speak to strangers and our friends who we know that don't know Christ.

  652. To pray for people and to go into other countries when we are called not to be afraid.

  653. Jesus, I pray that, like Eric said, we'll not just stand by and listen when Jesus' name is dragged through the mud.

  654. We will stand up.

  655. Jesus, will you please give us boldness?

  656. Yeah. Thank you, Oba.

  657. Do you want to go?

  658. Okay.

  659. Go ahead, David.

  660. Jesus, I pray that all our fears would be gone and you would take them away.

  661. Yeah.

  662. All our fears would be gone and you would take them away.

  663. Yeah.

  664. Fear of COVID, fear of getting it back to normal, fear of rules, fear of anything, anything.

  665. It would just go away in the name of Jesus.

  666. Thank you, Oba.

  667. We would come, condemn them.

  668. We would defeat them.

  669. Yeah.

  670. We would destroy them.

  671. Yeah.

  672. We would wipe them in the mud because we don't need them.

  673. We need God.

  674. Yeah.

  675. We need it to go back to the real normal.

  676. Yeah.

  677. We need life to go back to how it was so that we can gather in real life.

  678. Yeah.

  679. And we will not be afraid anymore.

  680. Yeah.

  681. Yeah.

  682. Thank you, Tate.

  683. Go ahead, Finn.

  684. Right up to you.

  685. Father, you're creator of the universe.

  686. You are worthy of praise.

  687. Yeah.

  688. You give us boldness to speak to anyone.

  689. Let us preach where it needs to be preached most.

  690. When we open our mouths, you will put words into them.

  691. We trust you.

  692. Yeah.

  693. Yeah.

  694. We trust that you will flood the dry land with water.

  695. Hallelujah.

  696. Let us flood the lands with your glory.

  697. Yeah.

  698. Let us spark up a fire of praise in this land.

  699. Thank you, Father.

  700. Thank you, Father.

  701. Thanks so much, Finn.

  702. Okay, guys.

  703. So this is how we're going to end.

  704. We're going to take five minutes to just quietly ask God to shake something inside us,

  705. shake something around us, shake whatever He wants to shake like He's done before.

  706. And then we'll end with the song, Oceans.

  707. So that's what we're going to do.

  708. We're going to take five minutes to just ask God to do some kind of an operation within.

  709. That's what we'll do.

  710. We're going to take five minutes, and then we'll end with Oceans.

  711. Okay.

  712. Okay.

  713. Okay.

  714. Okay.

  715. Okay.

  716. Okay.

  717. Okay.

  718. Okay.

  719. Okay.

  720. Okay.

  721. Okay.

  722. Okay.

  723. Okay.

  724. Okay.

  725. Okay.

  726. Okay.

  727. Okay.

  728. Okay.

  729. Okay.

  730. Okay.

  731. Okay.

  732. Okay.

  733. They're going to come up and sing Oceans and sing it with everything you have as we end the evening.

  734. We won't be meeting tomorrow, and we'll be meeting on Thursday again, and I'm looking forward to it.

  735. Tomorrow, find people in the afternoon at night that you can pray with based on what we've already heard and based on the Word.

  736. This is what God wants to say in response.

  737. You will be righteous, you will possess the land.

  738. You are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands for the display of my splendor.

  739. Let me just put my name in and you can put your name in.

  740. Hey, Jacob, you will be righteous.

  741. You will possess the land.

  742. You are the shoot I have planted.

  743. You are the work of my hands for the display of my splendor.

  744. And this is to the church.

  745. The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation.

  746. I am the Lord.

  747. In its time, I will do this swiftly.

  748. And I say, now is the time.

  749. I'll read that again.

  750. The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation.

  751. I am the Lord.

  752. In its time, I will do this swiftly.

  753. And I say, now is the time.

  754. One last time.

  755. All your people will be righteous.

  756. They will possess the land.

  757. They are the shoot that I have planted.

  758. They are the work of my hands for the display of my splendor.

  759. The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation.

  760. I am the Lord.

  761. In its time, I will do this swiftly.

  762. And I say, now is the time.

  763. So we bless you, Father.

  764. We thank you for the new posture that we have of internal boldness,

  765. with which we'll shake things externally.

  766. Our mouths, our faces, our words, our hands, our feet will display your splendor.

  767. The least amongst us will be like a thousand.
