  1. Vivek, feel free to come and attend church services once in a while.

  2. Yeah.

  3. All righty, before we start, I'll just ask Betty to pray for the Dayton guys,

  4. and then we'll start after that.

  5. Go ahead, Betty.

  6. And so Father, I just want to thank you for the people who have come to visit us today.

  7. And I thank you specifically for the Dayton crew.

  8. Thank you so much. They're our family.

  9. Thank you so much. They're an extension of our family.

  10. Thank you so much. They are your family, your people that you brought together from different walks of life, Father.

  11. But you brought them up together with one heart, Father.

  12. And I just bless them, Father.

  13. Bless them, Father. Bless them that they may walk in a land of milk and honey, Father.

  14. A land of milk and honey flowing.

  15. That they be your gate-crashers, Father, or gate-openers, Father.

  16. That your milk and honey will flow through these people.

  17. That their hearts, because they're aligned with you, aligned with one another,

  18. that when they speak, as they walk, as they have their way, Father, you have their way through them.

  19. Each and every single one of them, Father, because that is your will.

  20. That is your desire for Dayton and beyond Dayton.

  21. And milk and honey, sticky, flowy substance, Father, so it cannot be contained.

  22. It will go everywhere. It will go everywhere where they go.

  23. And so we just thank you, Father, that these people will be the people of milk and honey.

  24. That will bring your good news, bring your mercy and goodness to every place that they will go because they go with you, Father.

  25. And Father, I just want to, I'd like to call up Mike.

  26. Can you please come up?

  27. And Father, I just, I just want to thank you for Mike, Father.

  28. Father, I just want to thank you for Mike, because Mike is your strong man, Father.

  29. Father, I want to lay hands on him for his healing, Father.

  30. Father, you are with him. You are inside of him, Father.

  31. And because he's your temple, healing and goodness will flow out of him.

  32. And Father, Father, he'll be a refreshment in the desert, Father, others, Father, where there is dryness, when there is deadness, he's freshness.

  33. He's not just water. He's snow. He's snow, Father, to be stored up and then to be released, Father.

  34. So he's a refreshment in the desert. And you will heal him completely from head to toe, inside and outside, Father, so he could be a refreshment in dry, arid places.

  35. So wherever there's dryness, deadness, discomfort, he's a man that will bring your goodness, your flow, Father, and again, your refreshment in life.

  36. Father, he will bring life. So we thank you for him, Father.

  37. We thank you for how you have moved through him, how you continue to use him for your kingdom.

  38. And I pray these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

  39. Amen.

  40. Mike, wait.

  41. Because this picture of, like you said, you're a strong man, God gave me a picture of a horse.

  42. And the first thing he knows about a horse is horses have muscles. And God wants to give you muscles.

  43. You see this guy with a Detroit Tigers hat?

  44. Just put your hand up.

  45. So the guy, him and the guy sitting next to him, they work out like crazy.

  46. They got pretty big muscles.

  47. But God wants to give you, God wants to give you muscles, but it takes work. It takes a lot of time.

  48. So God is calling you out to begin this training process.

  49. And he's going to give you muscles that you didn't know you had, spiritually.

  50. Spiritual muscles that you thought maybe they were for other people, but know they're for you.

  51. And things that maybe, gifts of prophecy, gifts of healing, gifts of courage.

  52. He's going to bring those out of you because you thought maybe they're for others, but know they're for you.

  53. You can step into these things and use them for your family, for your friends, for those around you, people you don't know.

  54. But it takes training. These guys have been training for a lot of years.

  55. Don't think, okay, it's going to happen tomorrow, it's going to happen soon, but it will take work.

  56. So step into this training process and God will just bless you along the way with your obedience, with your faithfulness.

  57. He will bless you.

  58. Father, I just pray that you'll help him to teach well, Abba.

  59. He loves the word. He likes thinking.

  60. I ask that you take his appetite for the word and his ability to think and now help him to teach well.

  61. To break into little edible parts, things that are from your word that can be fed to others.

  62. To simplify things, to tell stories.

  63. To his ability to think, Father, I ask that you add imagination.

  64. Spirit of God, I ask for imagination to run like crazy in his head.

  65. He's very factual, Abba. I pray that you add imagination to his love for facts.

  66. Let his wife notice it first, that the guy is actually daydreaming. He never does that.

  67. So I ask Father for imagination to be added to his factual ways of approaching life.

  68. Let it trigger something in him. We pray this for Mike right now. In Jesus' name, Amen.

  69. Cool. Thank you, guys.

  70. All righty. Hey, I want to talk about this thing called the Elisha Company.

  71. And why talk about this? I actually have two sets of notes.

  72. The Elisha Company has 15 points and my teaching on presence has 13 points. Which would you prefer?

  73. I was thinking of both. No way.

  74. Only one of them? Oh, let's go with Elisha then.

  75. Yeah, because last night I thought we'd go with presence, but felt no Elisha Company. Why?

  76. Because, one, going into Victoria, going into these different nations, it's pretty strange that at one time you go to so many different places.

  77. And yet we're not spreading ourselves thin. Wally is happening every week.

  78. I mean, I heard that there were tons of stories from Wally yesterday.

  79. Derek was sending me photographs and telling me that there were stories.

  80. I don't know why they always leave me out when it comes to muscles.

  81. Really? There's a gym downstairs? Nobody told me.

  82. But you know, my WhatsApp status says I'm at the gym.

  83. So the reason we want to talk about Elisha Company is, and the words are very deliberate.

  84. The word Elisha, which then means it is the next generation, the company means a troop.

  85. Where it's not just one Elisha, it's a group of Elishas that now have the ability to be farmed out or to be sent out.

  86. And you find them in multiple places. That's what this looks like.

  87. So, I want to talk about that.

  88. So in a sense, it's a prophetic message from scriptures.

  89. It's not prophecy, but it's a prophetic message from scriptures.

  90. So you can extract what you want and apply it to your lives.

  91. And it's being released to a people. It's not being released to an individual.

  92. It might give us a blueprint of how to approach the next four or five months.

  93. And that's why I put that picture up there.

  94. Somehow, eagles are always associated with either Elijah or Elisha.

  95. But we're talking about a company, not an individual.

  96. It's so refreshing, so satisfying when you have a quiver full of arrows and all of them fly straight.

  97. It's one thing to have one arrow. You've got to shoot it, then go run, pull it out of the guy you just killed.

  98. Put it back in your quiver, perhaps wash it and then shoot it again.

  99. That's so difficult. It takes time.

  100. But when you have a company, then it's amazing. You've got a quiver full of arrows.

  101. And that's what we've become. That's what we've become.

  102. And the strange thing is, at the end of the day, the god of Elijah still gets known.

  103. It's amazing. Elisha did twice the works that Elijah did, but it is the god of Elijah that was known through Elisha.

  104. God still gets all that he's supposed to get.

  105. And so that's why I'm deliberately calling it Elisha Company.

  106. And we'll just look at Second Kings 2. I'll go from there.

  107. And besides the message, if there's something else you want to look forward to, there's cake after the AGM meeting.

  108. But I know you guys are so spiritual, you will say, but this is my meat and drink.

  109. Thank you, Sue. The rest of you are on probation.

  110. And so there is a rising of Elishas. So it's not one or two, it's many rising.

  111. So there's a rising of Elishas. And if you read Psalm 18, verse 29, it says,

    Psalms 18:29

  112. Oh, God, you help me run over troops. You help me scale a wall.

  113. And when Elishas rise, it becomes very difficult for any wall or any troop to stop them.

  114. And it's almost like 1 Chronicles 12, 8 and 9, where it says the Gadites had faces that were fierce like lions.

  115. They had the ability to handle sword and spear. And they were a troop.

  116. The word Gadite means troop. When Leah gives birth to her son, she names him Gad.

  117. And the reason she names him Gad is because she says, now I have a troop.

  118. That's the sense of the word Gadites. And in 1 Chronicles 12, verse 8 and 9, it actually talks about that.

    1 Chronicles 12:8

  119. It says that the Gadites were a troop that could not be stopped because they had this ability with sword and spear.

  120. And their faces were as fierce as lions. And their feet were as sure as gazelles. That's what it says.

  121. So that's where we're going. So we'll look at the different signs that Elisha performed and extract principles out of that.

  122. So the first one is in 2 Kings 2, verse 14. 2 Kings 2, 14.

    2 Kings 2:14

  123. And that is when Elijah throws his cloak over Elisha. And Elisha inherits Elijah's mantle.

  124. That's the first one. And so one of the things that you can do, and when I say you, I mean you as a people.

  125. I also mean you as individuals. One of the things you can do over the next few months is figure out what you want to inherit.

  126. And what you have inherited.

  127. We talked about this last week in response to a question. What is it that is characteristic of this Church?

  128. There's pioneering. There is the prophetic. It is a body-centered Church.

  129. There is freedom of worship.

  130. There is a raising of leaders.

  131. It is nation-affecting or nation-influencing. Those are the characteristics of the Church.

  132. But now the question is, what do you want to inherit and what have you inherited?

  133. What do you want to inherit? As you go forward, Elisha has to figure out what have I inherited and what do I want to inherit?

  134. Both questions have to be asked.

  135. And when you ask a question like that, here's another question you have to ask.

  136. Okay, so who am I inheriting from?

  137. So the first question is, what have I inherited?

  138. Second question is, what do I want to inherit?

  139. Third question, who am I inheriting from?

  140. You have to have an idea. Inheritances must be longed for.

  141. People who don't long after inheritance will squander their inheritance.

  142. There should be a desire.

  143. So who do I inherit from?

  144. And so that then leads to two things.

  145. One, what is it that I can inherit from the tribe or body or family that I belong to?

  146. That's the first one.

  147. And two, what can I inherit from Jacob or other leaders in the church?

  148. It takes guts to ask that question, even, because it seems so self-promoting.

  149. These are two questions you have to ask.

  150. What can I inherit from the tribe or the body or the family that I belong to?

  151. Because there are specific traits that you can inherit from the very spirit that is present in us as a corporate people.

  152. And then the second question is, what can I inherit from Jacob's life or the life of a leader in this church that I follow?

  153. Both questions need to be answered.

  154. I'm sure your light is on, just so you know.

  155. I was scared you would burst into that song, this little light of mine.

  156. So these are two questions that need to be asked.

  157. Any questions on these questions?

  158. I have one.

  159. When I'm thinking about inheriting something from the tribe or the body, it's more general in general.

  160. And very strongly present.

  161. Certain things are so strongly present.

  162. I just asked Betty and Evan on the spot to come and pray for Mike.

  163. It wasn't planned.

  164. But there is an ability.

  165. The spirit of the prophetic is so evident in this church.

  166. It's very easy.

  167. There's no laboring.

  168. You go to Wally and you'll find certain traits present in the church in Wally that are so strong that you won't find it at Acts 29.

  169. Same people, by the way.

  170. It's not some new people that are in Wally.

  171. It's these muscled individuals like Derek and Prashanth and Pawan and Mark.

  172. And me.

  173. So it's these guys who are in this church who go to Wally.

  174. And yet the traits and the anointing and the way the spirit works in Wally is so different from Acts 29.

  175. We don't realize what God is up to.

  176. We don't see it.

  177. And if you don't see it, you can't know what you want.

  178. You got to see it. Someone has to show it.

  179. How can it even be that the very guys who are in this church who operate differently here,

  180. operate differently in Wally?

  181. Because God builds tribes a certain way.

  182. What do you desire then from what is present?

  183. One should know.

  184. And what do you desire from my life?

  185. You should know.

  186. Because that's how inheritances are bequeathed.

  187. And you can be passive about it and you'll still get a sprinkle of it.

  188. You can be active about it and you can get oodles of it.

  189. You can get your own well.

  190. And then somebody else drinks from your well one day.

  191. Or you can be passive about it and you'll still get the sprinkle.

  192. Because it's impossible to escape.

  193. Any questions?

  194. This is important for us to become who we are saying we need to become,

  195. which is the Elisha Company.

  196. Which we already are.

  197. We're just informing ourselves of who we already are.

  198. Hear me clearly.

  199. We are informing ourselves of who we already are.

  200. This teaching is not going to make you this.

  201. This teaching is going to inform you.

  202. Go ahead, Nana.

  203. Can you give an example of what happens when you're passive?

  204. Passive is...

  205. Nah.

  206. I don't believe in getting stuff from man.

  207. Whatever God wants to give me, God will give me.

  208. That's passive.

  209. You've got to be like Caleb.

  210. Say, I want those hills.

  211. You've got to be like Peter.

  212. Please, please, let me be the first man who walks on water.

  213. That's active.

  214. Everyone but Diana.

  215. I won't repeat the name again.

  216. The person may get offended.

  217. So, if I want to give something to you,

  218. then what do I do with my farm?

  219. And if someone wants to give you a certain head and strong need,

  220. what do I do?

  221. Okay, so let me put it this way.

  222. When I wanted things from Mike Scantleberry,

  223. when I wanted things from Eddie O'Neill,

  224. when I wanted things from people who taught me,

  225. I would go and harass them, spend time with them,

  226. spend money to go be with them, honor them,

  227. find time, find ways to get things off them.

  228. And I started ages and ages and ages ago.

  229. I've said this to you before.

  230. I'd beg the pastor in the church in Bahrain to allow me to come

  231. and pick up people from the airport

  232. because sitting in the back of the car listening to them converse

  233. hatch dreams that I'm either now living or I'm yet to live.

  234. Yeah.

  235. Next one.

  236. Yeah, the next one is in chapter 2, verse 16,

  237. where Elisha's must handle rejection.

  238. The Elisha Company must handle rejection, must handle rejection.

  239. In verse 16, it talks about the very men who Elisha had raised,

  240. 50 of them were not willing to acknowledge Elisha

  241. as the one who Elisha had appointed.

  242. They were not willing.

  243. They kept, Elisha said, listen, Elisha's gone.

  244. I saw him taken up in a whirlwind.

  245. But the 50 don't want to give him the privilege of now becoming the next leader.

  246. So they're saying stuff like, no, no, let's go search for them.

  247. They insist Elisha is so embarrassed that he says, all right, go search,

  248. because he knows Elisha's gone.

  249. But there'll be resistance.

  250. So the second thing that the next point that we need to be aware of

  251. is that a seeming rejection, a seeming rejection or refusal,

  252. or refusal by people, by people to accept your new position

  253. or sometimes your new form internally and externally will happen.

  254. And you must bear, you must bear people's scrutiny.

  255. You must bear people's scrutiny.

  256. You must bear people's scrutiny till they either reject you or accept.

  257. So what happens is when people change,

  258. when you change, people find it very hard to interact with you.

  259. I was telling someone last night that people converge around what you project.

  260. People converge around what you project.

  261. Always remember that, eh?

  262. People converge around what you project.

  263. And so as you begin to change, you begin to project a different person.

  264. When you project a different person, people find it very hard to interact

  265. because they want the old Dilna.

  266. They want the old Mark.

  267. They want the old David.

  268. They don't want this new David.

  269. They want the old fun guy.

  270. And then when you begin to change, people find it very hard.

  271. And so there will always be this resistance, this rejection.

  272. And sometimes it will be from people who really know you well,

  273. who don't want to lose out on the old Jillian or the old Don or the old Kezia.

  274. They don't want to.

  275. And you've got to stand your ground.

  276. You have to let them scrutinize your life and decide whether they want to receive

  277. or they want to reject.

  278. Internal and external change does happen with Elisha's.

  279. Some of your closest friends, some of your family members will begin to push you away

  280. because they don't like the new you.

  281. Any questions?

  282. Hey, Mary and her brothers, Mary and her children preferred the old Jesus, man.

  283. The Jesus of Nazareth was a really nice Jesus.

  284. Good carpenter, took care of his family.

  285. And then he changed.

  286. He changed and began speaking crazy.

  287. And when he began speaking crazy, Mary and the siblings turned up at the door

  288. and said, we want to take you home.

  289. It was an intervention.

  290. That was what was happening there.

  291. It's not a new idea.

  292. They came to take him home.

  293. Because they wanted to lock him up for a while so that he'd come back to his senses.

  294. And that's when he states that line, who's my mother and who are my brothers,

  295. but those that do the will of the Father.

  296. One of the ways we can avoid rejection and refusal is to refuse to show how you've changed

  297. either with your words or with your actions.

  298. Hide your bush, hide your, hide it under the bushel now.

  299. Hide, hide what?

  300. Hide it under the bushel now.

  301. I'm going to let it shine.

  302. Hide it.

  303. You'll be safe.

  304. Do not speak, do not show.

  305. I'm not suggesting that.

  306. I'm saying it's a bad idea.

  307. I saw a few heads going, hmm, that's a good point.

  308. No.

  309. So Jacob, how do you handle the change?

  310. If the internal and external change is real and it is God,

  311. then you will have to take time to sometimes explain it, sometimes just...

  312. There are three options.

  313. One, you take time to explain it.

  314. Some will understand.

  315. Or you just be quiet because even if you explain it, no one will understand.

  316. Three, you cannot amend it.

  317. Four, you should not get proud about it.

  318. So there was a certain person whose friends advised her not to move to a certain city

  319. because they thought it was a really bad idea.

  320. The person tried explaining it.

  321. Some understood.

  322. The person tried explaining it.

  323. Some got even madder.

  324. So it doesn't always work.

  325. So these are the four ways.

  326. Explain it because some will understand.

  327. Do not explain it because it's no point.

  328. Do not be proud.

  329. Do not amend.

  330. Do not be proud.

  331. Do not amend.

  332. Yeah.

  333. Yeah.

  334. When we change, people get detached and it's okay.

  335. Because if your change is genuine and it is Christ-like, they will recognize it.

  336. They will recognize it.

  337. Later, yeah.

  338. They will recognize it.

  339. And during the time of detachment, it is difficult.

  340. It sucks.

  341. But they will recognize it.

  342. It happened with my parents.

  343. But they recognized it later.

  344. And they were only proud of their son.

  345. They were not very proud of him for a while.

  346. But then they were super proud.

  347. Yeah.

  348. You always keep the door open.

  349. And that's the pride part.

  350. Pride is when you reject them because they rejected you.

  351. Pride is when you reject them because they rejected you.

  352. Okay.

  353. Third one is in 219.

  354. 2 Kings 2, 19.

  355. And it says that,

  356. The men of the city said to Elisha,

  357. Look, our lord, this town is well situated, as you can see,

  358. But the water is bad and the land is unproductive.

  359. And then Elisha takes a bowl, a new bowl,

  360. Takes some salt and it sprinkles it at the source.

  361. And the waters get healed.

  362. And they will never lead to barrenness and death again.

  363. One of the things we must realize, guys,

  364. This is not what God is saying we will become.

  365. This is who we are.

  366. God is informing us of who we are.

  367. Please make that distinction.

  368. We are not teaching this so that we become something.

  369. We are teaching this so that we are informed of who we are.

  370. It's like an instruction manual for a car you already have.

  371. Not a car you're waiting for.

  372. Yeah.

  373. So the third thing is, guys,

  374. And you should try this.

  375. Try this in Japan. Try this in Israel.

  376. Try this in New York. Try this in Vancouver.

  377. Try this in Burnaby. Try this even in Surrey.

  378. There's hope for every city, Derek.

  379. So, we have, we have, we have,

  380. And when I say we, I'm including everybody in this building.

  381. It's not an Ax 29 thing.

  382. Yeah?

  383. We have the permission.

  384. We have the permission

  385. and the power

  386. to end

  387. bitter years,

  388. to end bitter

  389. years

  390. of unfruitfulness

  391. and

  392. sequence of things that are aborted,

  393. have been aborted, sequence of things that have been aborted,

  394. sequence of things that have been

  395. aborted.

  396. Or a cycle of

  397. things, a cycle

  398. of things that have been aborted.

  399. We have the permission

  400. and the power. You need to, you need to,

  401. I'm only informing you of what you already have.

  402. I'm informing you of what you already have.

  403. That I,

  404. I can go, you can go, we can go

  405. to places and we have both the permission

  406. and the power to end

  407. cycles of

  408. abortion. I'm not talking about

  409. real, like, pregnancy abortions.

  410. I'm thinking, I'm talking about things that

  411. keep getting aborted. The thing with abortions

  412. is this, that something begins to

  413. flower and it almost comes to

  414. a place where it's going to bear fruit and then it collapses.

  415. It's with life.

  416. We have the permission

  417. and the power to end the things

  418. that are being aborted.

  419. And we have the permission and the power to end

  420. bitter years of unfruitfulness.

  421. Guys, if you, if you

  422. and I understand that this is who we already are,

  423. not what we are going to become,

  424. then you begin to walk in it. We're just being

  425. informed of who we are so that we can

  426. do something with who we are.

  427. As in go and find a situation

  428. that's unfruitful. In Wally

  429. or in Burnaby or in Tokyo

  430. and say, well then, I know

  431. that I have the permission and the power to end this.

  432. And it's not with magical

  433. words, it's with a simple prayer. Because

  434. permission and power does not require a whole set

  435. of words, man. When you

  436. have permission, what words do you need?

  437. You don't even need words, you have the key.

  438. Open sesame is

  439. enough.

  440. Own this.

  441. You own it by going over it.

  442. Again and again and again.

  443. Own this for your own life. There are things in your

  444. life that are unfruitful.

  445. There are things in your

  446. life that are being aborted again and again and again.

  447. Own this for your own life too.

  448. Oh God, in this area, I'm not

  449. producing. Every time I sow seeds,

  450. they're taken away.

  451. Hopelessness has begun to take

  452. over where you don't even think

  453. anything is going to change. You don't even

  454. want to talk about it because talking about it

  455. is like revisiting old wounds.

  456. Try this out in your own life and it's easier

  457. to try it out in someone else's life.

  458. Any questions?

  459. Okay, fourth one.

  460. It's from Second Kings

  461. to verse 23 and 24.

  462. This one

  463. may not apply to all of us

  464. at this particular

  465. time because we may need to learn

  466. how to do this. But in 23 and 24

  467. it says, but from there, Elisha went

  468. up to Bethel. As he was walking along the

  469. road, some youths came out of the town and

  470. jeered at him, go upon you

  471. baldhead. They said, go upon you

  472. baldhead. He turned around, looked at them, and called

  473. on a curse on them in the name of the Lord.

  474. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled

  475. forty-two of the youths, and he went to Mount

  476. Carmel and from there returned to Samaria.

  477. So what's the principle

  478. we draw from here?

  479. Decree

  480. divine judgments

  481. against

  482. powers

  483. that try

  484. to

  485. dismantle or destroy

  486. the church

  487. or try

  488. to prevail

  489. against

  490. the church

  491. being conscious

  492. that a battle

  493. is not

  494. not against

  495. flesh and blood. That's not food and

  496. beverage, it's flesh and blood, but

  497. against

  498. powers.

  499. Yeah. For some of us

  500. the battle is against food and beverage too.

  501. But, I mean

  502. flesh and blood, yeah.

  503. Decree divine judgments.

  504. Decree divine judgments. This is something that

  505. has to be learned, because

  506. how can I learn how to decree divine

  507. judgments? Those three words are

  508. important. If we are not

  509. prone to speaking, we are not prone to

  510. decreeing. You cannot turn the switch on

  511. overnight. One should learn how to do

  512. it. Two,

  513. it must be divine,

  514. meaning it should be God-inspired. Three,

  515. it is a judgment. Your judgment has

  516. to be accurate.

  517. And if you haven't practiced

  518. it, you cannot do it tomorrow.

  519. That's why I said it doesn't apply to all.

  520. Some of the things that we've been learning

  521. over the years is so that we can all come

  522. to a place where we function together

  523. at the same level of maturity.

  524. But that is a pipe

  525. dream, because we don't all grow together.

  526. Some of us grow fast, some of us

  527. grow slow, some of us don't grow.

  528. But, we still

  529. get to participate in what God has made

  530. us as a people.

  531. Take a plain, rare situation

  532. and move around.

  533. So Instagram,

  534. every situation where we are all by

  535. ourselves, and we get divinely

  536. inspired to decrease ourselves.

  537. How do we go about it?

  538. Very easy. WhatsApp, text,

  539. call, sing.

  540. This is what I sense. What do you think?

  541. Call anybody that you think is in

  542. a place where they operate in this.

  543. Whoever you think operates in this, call them, ask.

  544. Verify.

  545. I still do it.

  546. I'll call someone and say, hey, this is what I'm thinking.

  547. Because these three

  548. words are critically, do I know

  549. how to decree? Have I practiced decree?

  550. We started talking about decree in

  551. 1990,

  552. no,

  553. 2003 we started talking about it.

  554. If you

  555. haven't practiced it, then it's on you.

  556. Divine, it has to be God inspired.

  557. Judgment,

  558. it has to be accurate.

  559. Because if you call down fire,

  560. you're not going to be able to do it.

  561. So make sure you're wearing an asbestos suit.

  562. Because otherwise

  563. you can lose

  564. some hair.

  565. And then it's against powers that

  566. dismantle or destroy the church.

  567. Examples,

  568. someone is a super real

  569. man.

  570. Maybe I shared this with you.

  571. I remember some guys going to a

  572. particular city

  573. in India

  574. where

  575. a man

  576. who is probably the fourth

  577. or fifth richest man in the world

  578. lives, who

  579. was funding tons

  580. and tons of activities against

  581. churches.

  582. And these

  583. people went there just for

  584. nine hours. And they sat

  585. in a hotel room with some locals

  586. and began to decree that this

  587. must end. That this

  588. funding of

  589. the dismantling and destroying of

  590. believers in

  591. churches must end.

  592. Four hours after

  593. these guys gathered and prayed,

  594. that man lost

  595. fifty-one billion

  596. dollars

  597. and was completely

  598. undone in terms of both his

  599. financial standing and his

  600. power and clout.

  601. Not just in that nation but around the world.

  602. That is sometimes

  603. how effective this can be.

  604. I know those guys who went and did

  605. that.

  606. That's how

  607. powerful this can be at times.

  608. That man cannot rise again.

  609. He cannot rise in that nation.

  610. He cannot rise in the world.

  611. So,

  612. I'm just giving you one recent example that I know of.

  613. Any questions?

  614. If our battle becomes against flesh and blood, then we

  615. step into a spirit that is not Jesus.

  616. Because at some point,

  617. James and John say,

  618. can I call down fire on these guys?

  619. And Jesus says, you are not of my

  620. spirit. James and John

  621. actually knew that they could call down fire.

  622. And they knew because they had already read

  623. the Old Testament that they knew Elijah did it.

  624. They knew that

  625. this was real. It wasn't

  626. something they were imagining.

  627. It was real. And Jesus says, you're not

  628. of my spirit.

  629. How did you

  630. create something

  631. not against

  632. flesh and blood with maybe

  633. somebody actively

  634. using that spirit?

  635. At least the way

  636. that I think is a sincere way

  637. to pray is, Father, I release this

  638. man into the hands of the Holy Spirit.

  639. For I know you're a compassionate, merciful

  640. God who is able

  641. to rescue him from his ways of error.

  642. I seek his salvation

  643. that if it be today or

  644. the day before he dies or the second before he dies

  645. that he sees you face to face and receives

  646. you as Lord. For there is nothing

  647. as terrible as a man being cut off from his

  648. creator. So, Father,

  649. stop this man.

  650. Even let what happened to Nebuchadnezzar happen.

  651. But let him come back to his senses

  652. and let him receive you as Christ and Lord.

  653. Yeah.

  654. Sorry?

  655. Oh, yeah.

  656. They were praying for his salvation.

  657. Yeah.

  658. Yeah.

  659. Yeah.

  660. There is a tendency in us to exact

  661. a pound of flesh for all the evildoer.

  662. I have to first get my heart

  663. right. And that's

  664. why it's good when you pray with a group of people because your

  665. heart may not be right. Then suddenly someone

  666. else begins to pray with such compassion that you feel

  667. ashamed. It's happened to

  668. me.

  669. I wanted fire and brimstone. I didn't say it, but

  670. inside me I really wanted it.

  671. And then while I'm desiring

  672. it, the other person is praying, Father, mercy

  673. Lord, shower some mercy. And I'm thinking to myself, this is

  674. for me.

  675. Next one.

  676. Chapter 3, verse 17.

  677. Chapter 3, verse 17.

  678. For this is what the Lord says, you will see neither wind

  679. nor rain, yet this valley will be filled with

  680. water. And you, your cattle, and your

  681. other animals will drink. This is an easy

  682. thing in the eyes of the Lord. He will also

  683. hand Moab over to you. You will overthrow

  684. every fortified city, every major town.

  685. You will cut down every good tree, stop up all the

  686. springs, and ruin every good field with

  687. stones. So this is

  688. when, guys,

  689. one of the things we should be able to do

  690. is cause

  691. when, when, when, what's

  692. her name? What's her name? Betty. When

  693. Betty was praying for Mike, I was thinking

  694. of this. Where streams

  695. are refreshing it cause

  696. we must be able to cause streams

  697. to flow

  698. in desert

  699. or

  700. parched places,

  701. arid places. This is

  702. not who we need to become.

  703. This is who we are. Isaiah 32

  704. 2. Just read Isaiah 32 2.

  705. It's such a cool scripture.

  706. Isaiah 32 2. Look at

  707. what causes it to happen.

  708. Isaiah 32

  709. 2.

  710. We think

  711. streams in the desert are things that

  712. God just makes happen, but look who makes

  713. it happen. Start with verse

  714. 1. Isaiah 32 verse 1. See

    Isaiah 32:1

  715. a king will reign in righteousness

  716. and rulers will rule with justice.

  717. Each man will be like a shelter from

  718. the wind and a refuge from the

  719. storm, like streams of water in

  720. the desert and the shadow of a great

  721. rock in a thirsty land. God is

  722. literally saying, listen, this is what I've made

  723. you. You go into Victoria,

  724. you stand, and you will be

  725. able to be a shelter in the storm.

  726. You stand and you will bring

  727. into families, into lives,

  728. in Tokyo, in Victoria,

  729. an ability for streams from me to

  730. flow. I will cause you to refresh.

  731. This is not who we need to

  732. become. This is who we are.

  733. Draw from what is common

  734. in this house and

  735. use it in your situation,

  736. in your workplace, in your mission,

  737. in your home. Draw from

  738. it. It's like

  739. belonging to a company that has certain

  740. benefits.

  741. Let's say you work for an airline.

  742. Now you have some benefits that come with the airline.

  743. Draw from it.

  744. Let's say you belong to Google or Microsoft.

  745. There are certain benefits that come from

  746. it. You get free computers, maybe.

  747. Or maybe not.

  748. Draw from it.

  749. We are talking about things that we can draw from.

  750. Isaiah

  751. 32 tells you why there will be streams

  752. in the desert. It's not because God suddenly

  753. carves out a stream. It is because

  754. that is the kind of shepherds we are.

  755. We must own

  756. this, guys.

  757. Go over it again and again so that you

  758. identify with your nature.

  759. We are just being informed of

  760. our nature in God.

  761. Wally, know this. Know that you can

  762. end unfruitful years.

  763. Know that you can cause suddenly streams to flow

  764. in desert places.

  765. You look at things in Wally and you think, how can this change?

  766. That's exactly

  767. why God comes in.

  768. We are so far removed from when we got

  769. saved that we don't realize how

  770. parched, arid, dry, deserted,

  771. addicted, perverse we

  772. were.

  773. And then, God happened.

  774. Next one.

  775. Chapter 4, verse 1.

  776. 2 Kings 2, 4, 1.

  777. 2 Kings 2, 4, 1.

  778. The wife of a man from the company of the

  779. prophets cried out to Elisha,

  780. Your servant, my husband, is dead.

  781. And you know that he revered the Lord.

  782. But now his creditors have come to take my two boys

  783. as his slave.

  784. One of the things we are

  785. called to do is to provide for

  786. ones

  787. who have served

  788. faithfully,

  789. who have served faithfully,

  790. but for various

  791. reasons

  792. fallen upon hard times.

  793. And the various reasons could be sickness,

  794. could be sin,

  795. could be bad

  796. decisions, could be

  797. betrayal, could be

  798. reasons we don't know,

  799. could be

  800. them leaving

  801. and not

  802. being able to make it.

  803. Whatever it be.

  804. This is a strange one, eh, when I saw it,

  805. that this

  806. Elisha company, this group

  807. that is here under this roof

  808. must be able

  809. to provide for those that have served

  810. faithfully.

  811. Even as I speak, if they come to mind,

  812. send them some money.

  813. Even as I speak,

  814. if they come to mind, if you remember Melchizedek

  815. in your life, who come and

  816. broke bread and water into your life,

  817. bread and wine into your life ages ago,

  818. that are struggling,

  819. that have had a hard time,

  820. send them something.

  821. Respond to some of these things immediately.

  822. These are men who serve faithfully,

  823. but for whatever reason are not able to do well right now,

  824. well then let your plentee supply their lack.

  825. Yeah?

  826. Any questions guys before we go on?

  827. Some maybe left.

  828. They left before their time.

  829. Before things could work out for them,

  830. they left. Maybe they were part of this church

  831. and they left.

  832. If you remember them,

  833. and you remember their faithful service,

  834. bless them.

  835. I remember there was a woman

  836. who was a priest,

  837. she was a priest,

  838. she was a priest,

  839. she was a priest,

  840. she was a priest,

  841. I remember there was a person

  842. who left this church,

  843. and we felt

  844. that the person was going through a really hard time,

  845. so we sent Derek,

  846. with a certain amount of money,

  847. to just drop off.

  848. And he went in the middle of the night,

  849. dressed in black

  850. with a mask on,

  851. ta-dan, ta-dan,

  852. and he left some money there.

  853. So,

  854. if you want to do that,

  855. then the outfit is still available.

  856. In this case,

  857. it was anonymous.

  858. But remember those that have served us faithfully

  859. and bless them. It's who we are.

  860. It's who we are.

  861. Next one.

  862. Chapter 4, verse 17.

  863. This is again one of those things where,

  864. if you haven't learned how to do this,

  865. it will not happen right now,

  866. but chapter 4, verse 17.

  867. Then Elisha said, call her.

  868. So he called her and she stood in the doorway.

  869. About this time next year, Elisha said,

  870. you will hold a son in your arms.

  871. No, my lord, she objected.

  872. Don't mislead your servant or man or god.

  873. But the woman became pregnant the next year,

  874. about the same time she gave birth to a son,

  875. just as Elisha had told her.

  876. The child grew, and one day he went out to his father,

  877. who was with the reapers.

  878. His father told the servant, carry him to his mother.

  879. After the servant had lifted him up

  880. and carried him to his mother, the boy sat on her lap

  881. till noon, and then he died.

  882. She went up and laid him on the bed

  883. of the man of god, then shut the door

  884. and went out.

  885. One of the things that I so look forward to this church doing

  886. is, will you contend,

  887. will you contend

  888. for what you know

  889. god has ordained a birth?

  890. Will you contend for what you know

  891. god has ordained a birth,

  892. so that the son who is born,

  893. so that the son who is born,

  894. so that the son who is born

  895. will not meet an untimely death?

  896. This is critically, there are so many things

  897. that god births and ordains,

  898. and guys the strange thing is when god births

  899. something, he does it with words.

  900. How does god birth anything?

  901. He announces it.

  902. Why does he announce it?

  903. He announces it to make his people know

  904. that I'm going to do something.

  905. That's what the prophets were doing.

  906. That's what he says in Amos,

  907. that listen, before I do anything, I

  908. tell my prophets about it.

  909. In those days he had to pick a few prophets.

  910. Today a church can be prophetic.

  911. He announces it. That's how he births everything.

  912. He announces it.

  913. And when things are announced

  914. and things have to be sustained,

  915. you have to then begin to contend for it.

  916. Think of some of the things that god has announced

  917. he will do, either through this church

  918. or he has announced it in this church.

  919. Think of some of those things.

  920. I don't want to repeat them before you.

  921. But do you contend for it?

  922. Do you contend for it?

  923. Because guys, one of the things that can happen

  924. in churches like this is because

  925. there are things that god keeps saying or doing,

  926. we can get neutral about it.

  927. I'll tell you what neutrality sounds like.

  928. Elijah is on Mount Carmel.

  929. And he says, if god is god,

  930. follow him.

  931. Or follow Baal.

  932. And the strange thing is,

  933. the next verse says,

  934. and Israel remained silent.

  935. Israel remained silent.

  936. There's a challenge being thrown out by Elijah.

  937. If god is god, follow him.

  938. If Baal is Baal, if Baal is god,

  939. go ahead, follow him.

  940. And instead of saying god is god,

  941. you're just coming out and speaking.

  942. Sometimes when things are being birthed

  943. and you do not speak,

  944. it's not disagreeing with people in the church,

  945. you're disagreeing with god.

  946. But in my heart I'm agreeing.

  947. Thank god you had to both speak

  948. and believe in your heart before you got born again.

  949. So, will you contend for what you know

  950. that god has ordained your birth

  951. so that the son who is born

  952. will not meet an untimely end?

  953. Some things are sustained by us agreeing with god,

  954. saying, oh god, this is what you said

  955. and I agree with you.

  956. I'll open my mouth and I'll speak.

  957. I'll open my mouth and I'll speak.

  958. Sometimes it requires stretching over

  959. that which is dying to revive it.

  960. That's the kind of contention we're talking about.

  961. It has to be life upon life.

  962. You pouring out your life

  963. to see what god has spoken will live.

  964. But Jacob, why does god need that?

  965. Can't he do it himself?

  966. He can do it himself, but he's the head of the body

  967. and he uses the body

  968. to stretch over that which is dying.

  969. It is his life that gives life, but it happens through you.

  970. Hey, I want to say something else

  971. that is going to bother some of us.

  972. If what I'm teaching right now

  973. is something that you're not connecting to,

  974. it is because...

  975. This is such a harsh statement to make,

  976. but I just feel that I have to make this

  977. so that you're aware of your condition.

  978. If what I'm saying is not connecting with you,

  979. it is because your spirit is dulled

  980. to the life-giving things of god.

  981. And the reason I'm saying it is so that

  982. you will wake up to the fact that you need

  983. to enliven yourself.

  984. Not because of the teaching, not because of the preacher,

  985. but because of the content.

  986. Just so you know.

  987. But you can always talk to each other

  988. and you want to be able to get everything

  989. regarding that to go on.

  990. No, no, no, no. I really don't want us to rara.

  991. But I want us to be able to

  992. speak when required, eh?

  993. Sometimes when I ask you

  994. to stretch out your hand

  995. and I see you sitting like this

  996. stretching out your hand, I think to myself,

  997. why? Is it pride?

  998. Is it rebellion? Is it disobedience?

  999. Is it disagreement? What is it?

  1000. Don't understand it.

  1001. When I'm in a church, it doesn't matter

1002. how tired I am and the pastor asks me to do something,

1003. I'll do it. Why? Because I want to

1004. stand with the people of god, even though

  1005. my hands are tired.

1006. Why do we not do it?

1007. You think you will not be held accountable for it?

1008. You will be held accountable for it.

  1009. I hate rara.

  1010. Hate it.

  1011. Because it's so artificial.

  1012. J-E-S-U-S?

  1013. Jesus!

1014. Let's say an amen now. Let me hear an amen.

  1015. No!

1016. But should an amen come from within you?

1017. Say it. Thank god our

1018. worship leaders don't do this too.

  1019. Okay, next one.

  1020. Sometimes guys,

  1021. Elisha's staff won't do,

  1022. Gehazi won't do.

1023. Sometimes you have to go and pour out your life.

  1024. Remember that, eh?

1025. You can't send someone else sometimes.

  1026. You have to go.

1027. As Elisha, sometimes you have to go.

1028. As Elisha, sometimes you have to go.

1029. I mean, for these guys going to Japan,

1030. I mean, for these guys going to Japan,

1031. I mean, for these guys going to Japan,

1032. I mean, for these guys going to Japan,

1033. I mean, for these guys going to Japan,

1034. embrace what is being taught.

1035. This is what you can do in Tokyo.

1036. For guys going to Israel,

  1037. embrace this.

1038. We don't go to the Holy Land for Holy Land tours.

1039. The Jew needs to be saved even if he's special.

  1040. Just like the Afghani

1041. and the Pakistani needs to be saved.

1042. And the Indian needs to be saved.

1043. And the Bangladesh needs to be saved.

1044. We got this absurd thought that

  1045. chosen people, Abraham's physical

  1046. descendants, so

1047. there'll be some magical way in which they'll be saved.

1048. Nope! It's only through Jesus Christ.

1049. We got to stop making

  1050. this myth

  1051. this myth

  1052. Christians exploit Israel

  1053. for their own benefit.

  1054. It's wrong.

  1055. That's just a side

  1056. hobby horse to flog.

1057. No, no, no. Christians should go on tours.

1058. I'm sure when you go on a tour and you walk the paths that Jesus walked,

  1059. it'll break your heart.

1060. I'm not saying no to that.

1061. But we need to look at Israel

1062. as a nation that needs saving.

  1063. And we don't.

  1064. Sometimes

  1065. Elijah's staff and Gehazi

1066. being sent will not do.

1067. You have to go pour out your life.

1068. Sometimes guys when it looks like

1069. why go all the way, why spend so much money,

1070. why do this, it is because

  1071. you alone can set

  1072. that place free.

1073. You were called for that.

1074. You alone. Nobody else can.

  1075. I can't.

  1076. You can.

1077. And when you know that in your heart

1078. and when you know that in your heart,

  1079. spare no expense.

  1080. Spare no expense.

  1081. Yeah.

  1082. Elijah tries. He says

1083. hey Gehazi, take my staff and lay it on the boy's

  1084. body.

  1085. Nothing. Squat.

1086. Sometimes you need to go.

  1087. Next one.

  1088. Chapter 4, verse 39

  1089. to 41. Chapter 4, verse 39

  1090. to 41.

1091. Elijah returned to Gilgal and there was a famine in the region

1092. while the company of prophets was meeting with him

1093. he said to his servant, put on the large pot

1094. and cook some stew for these men.

1095. One of them went out into the fields to gather herbs and found

  1096. a wild wine.

1097. He gathered some of its goods and

1098. filled the fold of his cloak.

1099. When he returned he cut them up,

1100. put it in the pot of stew.

1101. This was a whole vegetarian thing.

1102. That's what went wrong there.

1103. Though no one knew what they were.

1104. The stew was poured out for the men but as they

1105. began to eat it they cried, oh man of God

1106. there is death in the pot. They could not eat it.

1107. Elijah said get some flour. He put it into

1108. the pot and said serve it to the people to eat

1109. and there was nothing harmful in the pot.

1110. So one of the things

1111. this is another very cool one.

1112. That you've got to believe man because if you believe this

1113. and walk in it because God is saying this is who you are

  1114. then people will benefit.

1115. What is it we are talking about?

  1116. We will see

  1117. the preserving

  1118. power

  1119. of God

  1120. working through us.

  1121. Working through us.

1122. The preserving power of God working through us.

  1123. Guys

  1124. there's a scripture which says

1125. rejoice for the steps of the

  1126. righteous man are

1127. ordained by God in the time of trouble

1128. he will preserve you, uphold you, keep you.

1129. We are appointed to be keepers.

1130. People that we keep will be

  1131. preserved, will be upheld,

  1132. will be protected.

  1133. Own that eh?

1134. You are people that can keep.

1135. This is something God is giving you

1136. saying if you keep somebody

  1137. I'll make sure they're protected.

1138. There's something in the Bible called protective hospitality.

  1139. Protective hospitality is when

1140. people come into your care and

  1141. you make sure that

1142. on my watch nothing will happen.

  1143. That I would

1144. lay down my life, the life of my family

  1145. before they are touched.

  1146. That is keeping power.

  1147. That is preserving power.

1148. That is a power that whenever God gives something in your charge

1149. you will make sure that that person

  1150. is protected.

1151. Protective hospitality is what makes the father

  1152. throw the son out

1153. so that he can be

1154. destroyed but you can be preserved.

  1155. Preserving power is

1156. sacrificial. It is a power that God

1157. gives because the people have realized that we are

1158. keepers. As in we have

1159. the ability, we have the desire, we

1160. have the compassion and we have the faith

1161. to keep those that are given to us.

1162. The demonized can come, the depraved

1163. can come, the addicted can come.

1164. But as they bask under your shelter

1165. you prepare a table for them in the presence of

1166. their enemies and they begin to recover.

1167. Some of you have seen that.

1168. Some of you have seen the people that have come under your charge

1169. and how day after day,

1170. month after month, week after week, you see

1171. them being set free. It is the

1172. power of God that sets them free. But it comes

1173. through you. That's what keeping

1174. power does. That's what preserving power does.

1175. We have seen it in this church. And we will

1176. see it again and again and again. Because

1177. this is our nature given by God. We are

1178. just being informed of who we are.

  1179. The world needs this

  1180. guys.

1181. Do you know what happens when the demonized

1182. set free? You don't even pray

1183. because they come under what is called your covering.

  1184. Yeah.

1185. It's a magnificent thing that God is informing

  1186. us about.

  1187. When you keep somebody

  1188. something begins to happen.

  1189. Next one.

  1190. Next one.

  1191. 442.

  1192. What time is it?

1193. Say that with a little more

  1194. enthusiasm.

  1195. There you go.

1196. A man came from Baal, Shalisha

1197. bringing the man who got 20 loads of barley

1198. baked from the first ripe grain along with some heads of

1199. new grain. Give it to the people to eat.

1200. Crazy. This guy was tithing or giving

  1201. his first fruits.

1202. He was giving his first fruits and instead of

1203. taking the first fruits and keeping the first fruits

  1204. Elijah distributes it.

1205. I find that so amazing.

1206. Someone told me about that

1207. five or six years ago.

1208. Before that when I would receive first fruits

1209. I would keep the first fruits.

1210. People would honor me with their first fruits saying

1211. here is my first fruits at the beginning of the year.

1212. They would say Jacob thank you for what you've done in my life.

1213. Here's the first fruits and I would keep it.

1214. It would help me do

1215. whatever I want to do. Travel, do this, do that.

1216. Spend it on my own.

1217. I'd keep the first fruits. Someone told me this.

  1218. Hey have you read 2 Kings 2, 442?

  1219. It says so he

1220. brings his first fruits to Elijah

1221. and Elijah instead of keeping it says distribute it.

1222. And once I began distributing it

1223. I found that it increases

1224. it doesn't decrease. That's not the reason.

  1225. The reason was

1226. what a cool thing to do with first fruits.

  1227. It multiplies.

1228. So the principle here is very simple.

  1229. Release first fruits.

  1230. Release first fruits.

1231. And then if you receive it

1232. use it to feed others.

1233. And then if you don't

1234. you will not receive it.

  1235. And you will see

  1236. this word

  1237. in bold letters.

  1238. When money multiplies

  1239. a few things happen.

1240. One, you can provide for others.

  1241. You can end poverty

  1242. in your community

  1243. or your company.

  1244. And you can have

  1245. your needs

  1246. wants

  1247. whims

  1248. fancies

  1249. and burgers

  1250. taken care of.

  1251. Yeah.

  1252. Next one.

  1253. Let's skip a few.

1254. Because it's 103 and we got the AGM through.

1255. Let's go to sixth one.

1256. The company of the prophet said to Elijah

1257. look the place where we meet

1258. with you is too small for us.

1259. Let us go to Jordan where each of us can get a pole

1260. and let us build a place there for us to live.

1261. So you know the story.

1262. The prophet said to Elijah

1263. can we go build a school for prophets?

  1264. And Elijah said yes.

  1265. They took permission.

1266. They go build a school.

1267. While they're building the school, after having

1268. taken permission from the man of God

1269. which is the same as taking the permission of God

1270. they begin to build a school and they borrowed an axe

1271. because Israel had no metal implements.

  1272. They borrowed an axe.

1273. They're chopping. The axe that flies off

1274. falls into the river, drowns.

1275. And they come and say alas alas master

1276. the axe that was on the river.

1277. They say alas alas master the axe that was

1278. borrowed meaning it would be super expensive.

1279. And Elijah says take this staff

1280. throw it where the axe fell

  1281. it comes floating up.

  1282. Guys, this church

1283. and if you don't know it yet

1284. you must have been living under a

  1285. Bushel.

1286. So one of the things that we are

  1287. so meant to do

  1288. is to restore people's

  1289. destinies back to them.

1290. This church excels at it.

  1291. Wherever you go

1292. know that you can take

1293. anybody anywhere in the world

1294. and the anointing of God will be

1295. present upon you to help them

1296. get back into the trajectory appointed

  1297. to them. Sometimes it's a trajectory

  1298. that they lost, sometimes

  1299. it's a trajectory they haven't found.

1300. We are meant to do this.

1301. We are meant to do this.

  1302. Every time someone comes

1303. to this church or comes into

1304. your presence know that you have the

1305. ability in some small way

1306. to put them back on the path that

1307. they either lost or haven't found.

  1308. We restore people's

  1309. destiny. We restore

1310. desolate heritages. We give back

1311. to people what they lost.

  1312. We do this well.

1313. It is a trait in this house.

1314. It is yours. It is

1315. from God. It has very little to do

  1316. with you.

1317. But one of the things we excel at

  1318. wherever the axe is

1319. drawn, go back there, throw the

1320. wood shaft in and it will come

1321. floating up. Pick it up.

1322. Tell them to pick it up. You don't pick it up for them.

1323. You tell them to pick it up.

1324. You can only tell people what God is saying.

1325. From there on it's up to them whether they run in it or not.

1326. Elisha doesn't go and pick it up. Elisha says

1327. there it is, go pick it up. Then it's up to the

1328. person if they want to pick it up. But if they pick it up

1329. they can start rebuilding or building

1330. what God has ordained them to do.

1331. This is a trait in this house. Embrace it.

  1332. Example,

1333. I met with the guys from Dayton

  1334. last night and can

1335. put people back on their trajectory.

1336. It's the easiest thing to do.

  1337. It flows like water.

1338. Doesn't matter. You can go up to

1339. anybody on the street today and you

1340. have the ability to begin to speak into their lives

  1341. and restore them.

  1342. Restoring desolate heritage

1343. is so a part of our DNA

  1344. that it's inescapable.

  1345. Evidence of what?

1346. Yeah, but you announce it,

1347. they have to pick up the axe.

1348. We don't pick up the axe for them. We cause it to

  1349. float to the surface.

1350. That's up to the person, right?

  1351. Even Jesus wouldn't force

1352. someone to do what he told them to do.

  1353. Even Jesus wouldn't.

  1354. I mean, if I could force

1355. you guys to do what I wanted to do,

1356. If I could force just one person

1357. sitting at that corner to do what I wanted to do,

  1358. I would do it.

  1359. Okay.

  1360. One more.

  1361. Two more.

  1362. Okay, two more.

  1363. Chapter 8 was 7-15.

  1364. Chapter 8 was 7-15.

  1365. Elijah begins to

  1366. anoint Hazael the king.

  1367. And

1368. as he begins to anoint him as king,

1369. he begins to prophesy and predict the future.

  1370. He begins to

  1371. finish what

  1372. Elijah had left unfinished.

  1373. He begins to

1374. on one hand complete Elijah's

1375. task because Elijah kind of resigned and got raptured.

1376. And now he is completing Elijah's task.

  1377. And he is also

1378. predicting the future of what will happen to

1379. Israel, the things that are going to happen.

  1380. Some of us, and

1381. it's open for the entire church, but some

  1382. of us will finish

  1383. what Jacob can

1384. never finish in this lifetime.

1385. Some of us will finish what Eddie could never

1386. finish in his lifetime. Some of us will finish

1387. what the people that went before us

1388. will not be able to finish.

1389. Some of us will do this.

  1390. I want to

1391. give you a direct word.

  1392. Please come and, yeah,

  1393. you Prashanth, please

  1394. embrace this.

  1395. Please come

  1396. and join this company.

  1397. Please

  1398. give it another shot.

1399. You are one of the most capable

  1400. individuals I've met.

1401. Please come and give it a shot.

  1402. I plead with you.

  1403. It's not that you're not doing

1404. everything you're supposed to do. You're one of the most exceptional

  1405. workers that I

  1406. have seen. But I

1407. think you know what I'm saying when I say please

  1408. come because you will

1409. finish some of the things that I cannot,

  1410. that others cannot.

  1411. Take this upon

1412. yourself because you don't have a mantle

1413. yet and that mantle must fall

1414. on you because you have the ability to finish

  1415. it. I

1416. can plead on my knees if I need to.

1417. That is, no, I know, I know

1418. you wouldn't want that, but

1419. that is how desperate I am

1420. about this because I know that you can

1421. finish some of the things nobody else in this church can finish.

  1422. I'm not embarrassing you. I'm just

  1423. exalting you, if anything.

1424. It puts you in a

1425. difficult situation though and I

  1426. appreciate that, but

  1427. yeah.

  1428. Last one.

  1429. Chapter 6,

  1430. verse 12.

  1431. The enraged king of

1432. Aram, this enraged the king of

1433. Aram, verse 11, he summoned his officers

1434. and demanded of them, will you not

1435. tell me which of us is on the side of the king of

1436. Israel? None of us, my lord the king,

1437. said one of his officers, but Elisha the prophet,

1438. who is in Israel, tells the king in Israel

1439. the very words you speak in your bedroom.

1440. I don't know if you believe this, see?

1441. I'm absolutely convinced of it. I've seen it

1442. at work. Unfortunately, I cannot

  1443. share more stories on

1444. Arrow when it's being recorded, but

1445. do you believe? I really asked

1446. this of you and only you can answer it.

  1447. Do you believe?

  1448. I believe

  1449. that the destiny

  1450. of nations

  1451. will be

  1452. shaped

  1453. on the annual

  1454. called

  1455. Acts 29. By Acts 29, I mean

  1456. anybody attached to it.

  1457. Do you believe that?

1458. Because a few of us

  1459. will learn

  1460. to command here

  1461. the chariots of Israel

  1462. and its horsemen

  1463. to fight

  1464. princes of Persia

  1465. and Greece.

  1466. And see spiritual realities

  1467. come to pass

  1468. on Earth.

1469. It's a question, eh? I'll end with that question.

  1470. Do you believe

1471. that the destiny of nations

1472. can be shaped on this annual

  1473. called Acts 29?

1474. I don't know if you believe that,

  1475. but it's a question

  1476. worth asking.

1477. Some of us will learn to command

1478. here chariots of Israel and horsemen

1479. like Elisha did. You know what happens

1480. when you command here the chariots of Israel

1481. and horsemen? You become to the enemy

  1482. a threat that

1483. dismantles its plants and you become to

  1484. Israel protection.

1485. You become to Israel protection,

1486. you become to the enemy a threat.

  1487. That's what Elisha did.

  1488. He was surrounded

1489. by people and he says

  1490. his servant says,

1491. look we are surrounded, what are we going to do now?

1492. And Elisha says, oh God will you open the eyes of

1493. this man? And he opens

1494. his eyes and he sees the chariots of

1495. Israel and the horsemen. What does that do?

1496. On one hand for Israel it becomes protection.

1497. Doesn't matter how many thousands there are, there are more

1498. amongst us than there are with them.

1499. And two, it becomes the enemy,

1500. its defeat. Two things happen.

1501. Some of us will command here the chariots of

1502. Israel and horsemen to fight the princes of Persia

1503. and Greece, which is from the book of Daniel,

1504. and to see spiritual realities come to pass here on earth.

  1505. The question though is,

1506. do I really believe that the destiny of

1507. nations would be shaped on an anvil called

1508. Acts 29? When I say destiny of

1509. nations, the shape of those nations, how they

  1510. will be affected.

  1511. Powers, spiritual

  1512. and governmental.

1513. Do you really believe that?

1514. Because it happened in the book of Acts.

  1515. That is something you

1516. have to ask and to the extent

1517. that you believe it, begin to step into it a little

1518. bit. Maybe begin to start by praying

  1519. for a nation.

1520. Then perhaps investing in that nation.

1521. Then perhaps going to that nation.

1522. Then perhaps saying, can we do this

1523. and this in this nation?

1524. Then perhaps saying, but these are the powers that are involved in

1525. the nation. Then asking, how do we deal with

1526. these powers? Then saying, can you

1527. forge a team that can go and deal with these

  1528. powers? Then saying,

1529. what do we do with regard to spreading

1530. the gospel in these nations?

1531. Then saying, okay, these are the people we need to

1532. connect to. Can you give us, O God,

1533. inroads into corridors of power? Can you give us,

1534. O God, inroads into the poor?

  1535. It all started

1536. in an upper room in Jerusalem.

1537. Think of that for a second.

1538. It all started in an upper

1539. room in Jerusalem. It is the

1540. sheer power of the Spirit of God

1541. with a people who were willing

1542. to obey and did not love

  1543. their lives unto death.

  1544. They overcame the

1545. devil by the word of the testimony

1546. and by the blood of the lamb.

1547. And they did not love their lives

1548. even unto death. What does it

1549. mean not to love your lives even unto death?

  1550. That you don't

1551. think much of the things of

1552. life to begin with. And death

  1553. later.

  1554. But things of life

  1555. first.

  1556. Any questions?

  1557. There are two more,

  1558. but they're okay.

  1559. Any questions, guys?

  1560. God is informing

1561. us of who we are. He's not asking

  1562. us to become anything.

1563. He's just informing us. So we don't

  1564. even need to pray.

1565. We don't need to pray saying, O God, make us this.

1566. But some of these points apply directly

1567. to you. If they apply directly

1568. to you, change your thinking.

1569. Go over this again and again and again and again.

  1570. Yeah?

1571. So let's not pray. Let's go to the

  1572. AGM. Yeah?

1573. What do you do with an instruction manual?

1574. You read it and you put things together.

  1575. Yeah?

  1576. Cool.

  1577. What happens next?

  1578. Oh, we pause

1579. for a couple of minutes

1580. and then everybody is welcome

  1581. to stay.

1582. But if you haven't signed

1583. your life away and given us

1584. the PIN code to your bank

  1585. account, you cannot

  1586. vote. Yeah.
