  1. from where Jacob left off last week.

  2. Can you bring up the slide, please?

  3. This is the word that we received, Hebrides 2.0.

  4. A purify, why don't we read it out loud?

  5. A purifying fire from heaven

  6. that burns up religious and historical junk

  7. as the divine warrior marches,

  8. delivering young men and women

  9. from nations into the kingdom,

  10. calling sons and daughters into that circle of dancing,

  11. abundance and joy,

  12. before the lion and the lamp,

  13. a torch bearing generation that goes forth

  14. and will not return empty.

  15. I'll read it once more.

  16. This is the word we've been given.

  17. And Jacob, over the last couple of weeks,

  18. he touched on first two weeks ago,

  19. a purifying fire from heaven

  20. that burns up religious and historical junk.

  21. Last week, he talked about our father being a divine warrior,

  22. him being a jealous God,

  23. jealous but also zealous,

  24. and that if we are to become like him,

  25. we become zealous for his people and his purposes, right?

  26. So then third today, we'll touch on the third line here,

  27. delivering young men and women

  28. from nations into the kingdom,

  29. delivering young men and women

  30. from nations into the kingdom.

  31. I was thinking yesterday, I think,

  32. I remember a time at Acts 29,

  33. five, six years ago,

  34. where for those of you guys who were here at that time,

  35. we were talking pretty often about

  36. how everything in life revolves around Christ and his church.

  37. And I was reminded yesterday

  38. that today when you look at Acts 29,

  39. what was spoken and taught back in the day

  40. has become so much flesh

  41. to a point where, frankly,

  42. I know those of you who have been here since then

  43. can rise up, talk for the next 15, 20 minutes

  44. without having to look at any notes,

  45. because that word has become flesh in our lives.

  46. Is that true?

  47. Is it true?

  48. God releases words, He speaks things.

  49. We receive it, and when we receive it,

  50. man, we become what He's asking us to become.

  51. It becomes so much part of ourselves

  52. that it's not something we have to exert work for.

  53. It is so simple, it's fluid, it's who we are.

  54. We become that.

  55. I want us to look at this word that He has given us

  56. and recognize that in a few years' time,

  57. we will look back at this word that He gave us,

  58. and we are rallying around this right now,

  59. because He is, in our lives,

  60. He is having us go through different times,

  61. different things,

  62. so that certain things are cemented in our lives.

  63. They are strong, this foundation has been laid,

  64. and He is putting the next brick on top of it.

  65. I want us to have that picture.

  66. I want us to think of our lives that way,

  67. because the master builder does that always.

  68. He's building something.

  69. He knows exactly what the end product is gonna look like,

  70. and He's doing this brick by brick.

  71. And so the bricks that He has laid out,

  72. the bricks that are already there on the structure,

  73. great, we build on top of it.

  74. So please look at this, and take it in as a word.

  75. If you believe that this is from the Father,

  76. receive it as a word that you are to live,

  77. because it's not a word that has been given to us

  78. for us to just memorize.

  79. It's a word that has been given to us for us to live,

  80. and be part of.

  81. So a purifying fire from heaven that burns up religious

  82. and historical junk,

  83. oh, He does that work in us first.

  84. Religious stuff in us is burned off.

  85. Historical junk in us is burned off.

  86. As the divine warrior marches,

  87. He's a zealous God, a jealous God.

  88. Father, help us to become a people

  89. who are zealous for Your people.

  90. These things become part of our lives.

  91. And today, again,

  92. delivering young men and women

  93. from nations into the kingdom.

  94. Delivering young men and women

  95. from nations into the kingdom.

  96. In Isaiah chapter 46, verse 10,

    Isaiah 46:10

  97. it says, this is God speaking, God says,

  98. I can tell the future from now.

  99. I know exactly what's gonna happen.

  100. I can declare the end from right now.

  101. He knows everything.

  102. The future is not hidden to Him.

  103. 46, 10, Isaiah 46, 10 says, I will declare it.

  104. What is about to happen, I will declare it now.

  105. And exactly what I declare will come to pass.

  106. It actually goes on to say that I have plans, God says.

  107. And those plans that I have will be accomplished.

  108. And this word, on one hand, is for us to live.

  109. And on the other hand, it's for lives around us

  110. to be touched by, because the plans that God has

  111. will be accomplished.

  112. When we read through the Bible,

  113. you see God speaking things.

  114. Today we have a lot of time, so I'll go slow.

  115. I feel like we have a lot of time.

  116. The plans that God has are always accomplished.

  117. You see that in the scripture.

  118. He speaks things.

  119. No king can stand against it.

  120. People plan and plot against it.

  121. But all of those plans and plots will come to nothing.

  122. This is the God we serve.

  123. And so if He said these things,

  124. and this is why we have to also hold

  125. what we are receiving carefully,

  126. because if He just received this

  127. and we teach this and we talk this

  128. and we do studies around it,

  129. but we don't receive it to run with it,

  130. someone else will run with it.

  131. Because what He said will be accomplished.

  132. If there is one thing that I am so confident of today,

  133. it is this one thing, that our Father, right now,

  134. has many purposes that He wants to accomplish.

  135. But one key thing He wants to do on the face of earth

  136. is to deliver young men and women

  137. from nations into the kingdom.

  138. We've been talking about this perhaps for a little while.

  139. I know myself, probably two, three months ago,

  140. I spoke about why it is that the young is important.

  141. Why is it that the Father has a heart for the young?

  142. It's not that He doesn't have a heart for people who are older.

  143. He has a heart for everyone.

  144. His son died for the sins of the world.

  145. It doesn't say that my son died for the sins of the young.

  146. No, for everyone.

  147. Everyone is His people.

  148. Having said that, at times in the history of the world,

  149. He does certain things a certain way

  150. because He sees the end from the beginning.

  151. He sees what's about to happen, and He has His plans.

  152. And if we are able to tap into that,

  153. then we become partners in His mission.

  154. And I want us here to really think about this,

  155. that He is doing something with young men and women.

  156. And I've already told the Lord that,

  157. Abhay, if this is the direction you're showing,

  158. my heart, I want to give towards this.

  159. It doesn't matter what my preferences are.

  160. It doesn't matter what my plans are.

  161. I want to align, change, order my steps

  162. with what you're showing.

  163. So we'll talk for a little bit more,

  164. but this is key, that we receive it and make it flesh.

  165. The Word became flesh, John chapter one.

  166. The Word has to become flesh in us.

  167. And when we become,

  168. and when the Word becomes flesh in us,

  169. we are then able to take it and pass it on to others.

  170. He's a God of generations.

  171. And this divine warrior we talked about,

  172. and we talked about, he is going before,

  173. and he cares about the generations to come.

  174. And I want to read Psalm 145 verse four.

  175. Psalm 145 verse four, it says,

  176. one generation shall commend your works to another,

  177. and shall declare your mighty acts.

  178. One generation, us, let's say,

  179. shall commend your works to another.

  180. There is a generation that's coming.

  181. We, age doesn't matter,

  182. we will speak of his works, his deeds,

  183. to another, the ones who are yet to come,

  184. the ones who are behind us.

  185. Read Psalm 102 verse 18.

    Psalms 102:18

  186. I really love this verse, Psalm 102 verse 18.

    Psalms 102:18

  187. Look at this.

  188. Let this be recorded for a generation to come,

  189. so that a people yet to be created,

  190. may praise the Lord.

  191. That a people yet to be created,

  192. they're not on earth yet.

  193. What he is doing on earth

  194. affects the lives and destinies

  195. of babies not born on earth just yet.

  196. And that's why he's doing this.

  197. He's talking about the lives of babies

  198. not born on earth just yet.

  199. The likes of Pawin Skid.

  200. I just had to throw that in.

  201. That's what we're after, guys.

  202. He has a plan.

  203. He has a plan, he cares.

  204. So can we tap into that?

  205. Because for me, it's important for us

  206. to not just listen to this week by week,

  207. but for us to receive it,

  208. in a certain way and say,

  209. Father, if this is important for you,

  210. this is important for me.

  211. And I want to receive it, I want to live it,

  212. I want to practice it,

  213. so that I can become someone

  214. who you can use to accomplish this.

  215. Now the reason he shares these things,

  216. hey Mark, the reason he shares these things

  217. is because he wants to carry his plan through us.

  218. And his assignment, so at any given time,

  219. if you look at the assignment given to the church,

  220. if you look at the assignment given to the body,

  221. it uncovers the heartbeat of heaven.

  222. God gives his assignments to the church today,

  223. to a people.

  224. You look at the assignments that are given to the people,

  225. and you can, by looking at it,

  226. understand what the heartbeat of heaven is.

  227. And so again, this is one of the things

  228. that really is important for him.

  229. And we have to understand it that way.

  230. That it's not a weekly, it's not a series.

  231. It's not.

  232. It doesn't end after, let's count it,

  233. four, five, six weeks, we forget it.

  234. No, this is part of what he is doing.

  235. And we have to have that excitement.

  236. We have to have that zeal to say,

  237. I want to jump right in,

  238. and I want to inherit all of this.

  239. In 1 Kings, chapter nine, you don't have to read it,

  240. but if you want to write it down,

  241. 1 Kings, chapter nine, six to 10,

  242. Jehu is anointed king.

  243. And when God anoints Jehu,

  244. he doesn't just anoint Jehu and say,

  245. okay Jehu, you are king over Israel.

  246. He doesn't do that.

  247. He says, I anoint you king,

  248. and here is the assignment I'm giving you.

  249. Your assignment is that you need to destroy

  250. the house of Ahab.

  251. Your assignment is that you need to find Jezebel,

  252. and you know what will happen to her?

  253. Jezebel will be devoured by dogs,

  254. and on the plot of land at Jezreel, she'll be there.

  255. The assignment was given along with the anointing.

  256. He anointed Jehu, and he said, here is your assignment.

  257. It's a very specific thing he wanted Jehu to do.

  258. And so when he anoints us,

  259. when he gives us specific things to do,

  260. we receive all of it in its entirety.

  261. And we do that.

  262. We accomplish it.

  263. Few weeks ago, we looked at the life of Saul,

  264. where he was told by God to do certain things,

  265. but he did not do everything that was asked of him

  266. because he was afraid of people.

  267. And so doing some of what is told isn't the right thing.

  268. We receive it in its entirety.

  269. We receive it in its fullness.

  270. We become carriers of his heart.

  271. We care about the minor details

  272. and the major points of emphasis.

  273. We care about all of it.

  274. And when we receive a word like that,

  275. then we become people who can be trusted

  276. for more things by heaven.

  277. We don't take the parts that we like,

  278. and then discard the parts we don't like.

  279. We receive it all.

  280. We receive the fullness of what he is saying.

  281. And when we receive what he gives,

  282. like Elijah did when he received the mantle,

  283. and we give legs to the word,

  284. we also receive the grace,

  285. the provision,

  286. the gifts,

  287. and everything we need to accomplish it.

  288. So when I receive, when you receive the word fully,

  289. sincerely, and you say, I want to give legs to this.

  290. I want this to become flesh in me.

  291. You will.

  292. Because again, remember, this is the plan for the earth.

  293. When you say yes to this, you will receive the gifts,

  294. the grace, the resources, the vision.

  295. Whatever you need, you will get it.

  296. How can I say it confidently?

  297. Because my goodness, this is his plan.

  298. He cares.

  299. If you care with him and partner with him,

  300. wow, that's what we are after.

  301. We want to partner with him in what he is doing.

  302. In Numbers chapter 13,

    Numbers 13 chapter mention

  303. again, you don't need to read it.

  304. In Numbers chapter 13, here's the story.

    Numbers 13 chapter mention

  305. God says, Moses, this land of Canaan has been given to you.

  306. And because this land has been given to you,

  307. I need you to send spies into this land.

  308. See, it wasn't Moses' idea.

  309. God who said, this land belongs to you,

  310. the same God is saying,

  311. I want you to send spies into this land.

  312. And Moses turns to a bunch of guys and says,

  313. you guys need to go.

  314. Go through the south, up the mountains, go into the land,

  315. and I want you to look at the people.

  316. Are they small?

  317. Are they big?

  318. I want you to look at the land.

  319. Is it a good land or is it a bad land?

  320. I want you to look at forests.

  321. Are there enough forests?

  322. Are there not?

  323. I want to look at where they live.

  324. Are there strongholds?

  325. Are there camps?

  326. Is it a rich land or a poor land?

  327. This is exactly what Numbers 13 says.

  328. Go find out and then come back.

  329. So when we receive again a word and God says,

  330. delivering young men and women

  331. from nations into the kingdom,

  332. one of the things we got to do

  333. is understand the spiritual landscape of what is.

  334. Understand the spiritual landscape of what is,

  335. meaning how things are today.

  336. Because he is already saying how things will be tomorrow.

  337. It is important for us when we receive something

  338. to take it and look through the eyes of God.

  339. See, back in the day they needed spice to enter into Canaan.

  340. We don't need spice.

  341. We need the spirit of God.

  342. Because the spirit of God who dwells in us,

  343. as it says in Acts, I think chapter two or four,

  344. he gives us the ability to see and hear.

  345. So without going to anywhere, you can be here,

  346. you can be in your bedroom, you can be wherever you are.

  347. And when you are alert to the spirit,

  348. the spirit of God will show you.

  349. He will enable you to see things differently.

  350. He will enable you to hear things differently.

  351. So when you tune into the news and it says something,

  352. what is being said is one thing,

  353. what you are hearing is another thing.

  354. When you read, what you read is one thing,

  355. but what you understand is another thing.

  356. And for us to fully possess this promise from the Father,

  357. I'm telling you, that is the lifestyle we've got to have.

  358. That we hear and see based on what the spirit of God

  359. is showing us, not based on anything else.

  360. So then, practically, when you look at young men and women,

  361. what do you see?

  362. What do we see when we look at young men and women?

  363. What do you see and hear when you hear news

  364. that says addiction and drugs?

  365. What do you see when you hear alcoholism?

  366. What do you see and hear when you hear teen pregnancy?

  367. What do you hear and see when you see these things

  368. and hear these things?

  369. It's important.

  370. You've got to hear and get and run

  371. with the heartbeat of heaven.

  372. So first things first, before we go in and take over,

  373. you've got to get the lay of the land

  374. as the spirit shows you.

  375. You've got to see it that way.

  376. Because otherwise, you give in to your senses,

  377. which then pull you back, distract you.

  378. So see the spiritual landscape

  379. and hear heaven's perspective.

  380. The second thing we need,

  381. and this requires training,

  382. because I know that it can't happen in a heartbeat.

  383. It's something we need to train ourselves in.

  384. The second thing we need to do is we've got to walk on earth

  385. with the awareness that we belong to another kingdom.

  386. So we need to be able to walk on earth

  387. with the awareness that we belong to another kingdom.

  388. So we need to be able to walk on earth

  389. with the awareness that we belong to another kingdom.

  390. We've got to walk on earth with the awareness

  391. that we do not belong here.

  392. We've got to walk on earth with the awareness

  393. that I belong to another kingdom,

  394. and I am here for a purpose.

  395. I am a kingdom carrier.

  396. And this, from my life, I can tell you

  397. there are days when you're so aware about it,

  398. and then there are days where you're not aware of this.

  399. And immediately you find yourself in a barber shop

  400. You find yourself in a barber shop,

  401. and there's a bunch of guys all around you,

  402. and you quickly realize they're all in their 20s,

  403. and it's easy to forget what heaven is showing you

  404. because you're in a barber shop.

  405. What do you expect to do there?

  406. Cut your hair and come out.

  407. But can you be there and be sensitive

  408. to see what is the Spirit saying?

  409. Can you be there and give ear to what he is speaking?

  410. Guys, this is the life.

  411. And this requires training.

  412. We've got to remind ourselves, I do not belong here.

  413. You do not belong here.

  414. You belong to another kingdom.

  415. And this kingdom is what we are part of.

  416. And because we are part of this kingdom,

  417. now when you go anywhere, talk with anyone,

  418. do anything, you do it from the place

  419. of I belong to this kingdom.

  420. Are you tracking?

  421. Because it changes things, guys.

  422. It absolutely changes things.

  423. Our awareness of the kingdom we belong to

  424. changes the way our days and nights look.

  425. Practice it.

  426. If you're spouses, remind each other about this.

  427. If you're in your house church, remind each other.

  428. When you come together, remind each other,

  429. you do not belong here.

  430. You belong to another kingdom.

  431. When I say you do not belong here,

  432. what I am saying is you do not belong to this world.

  433. You belong to another kingdom and you're invading earth

  434. because the kingdom invades earth.

  435. So if you want to be a front runner in this,

  436. in what he is saying, and if you believe it,

  437. and if you see, if you hear that this is from God

  438. and you want to be part of what he is doing,

  439. if you want to be a front runner,

  440. you've got to pull aside and see in here.

  441. And please do not discount the things

  442. that will come out of you for the benefit of others

  443. when you do that.

  444. Because when you do that, there are others with you

  445. who desperately need you to speak, you to hear,

  446. you to see because that which you have to speak

  447. and that which you see is beneficial

  448. for the mission that is at hand.

  449. And when I don't do it, God finds a Jane

  450. because Jane can do it.

  451. So when we don't do it, there is someone else

  452. who God will use because this never stops.

  453. The plan never stops.

  454. The plan will be accomplished.

  455. It's a question more so of are we fully in it or not?

  456. Jesus said in John chapter 18,

    John 18 chapter mention

  457. my kingdom is not of this world.

  458. In John chapter 17, he says,

    John 17 chapter mention

  459. I have given them thy word, he says to the father,

  460. and the world hath hated them.

  461. Obviously, I have this from KJV

  462. because they are not of the world

  463. even as I am not of the world.

  464. They are not of this world.

  465. We are not of this world.

  466. Walk in the awareness of this guys, it changes our lives.

  467. Sundays are easy because we are surrounded by each other.

  468. This matters most when you're at work,

  469. when you drive into the grocery store,

  470. when you just want to take a break.

  471. This matters then more than now.

  472. So train yourself.

  473. May the words kingdom man, kingdom woman ring in your ears.

  474. May it ring.

  475. May it ring in your ears.

  476. I'm a kingdom man.

  477. I'm a kingdom woman.

  478. I don't belong here.

  479. I belong to another kingdom.

  480. I am here because I've been sent.

  481. And I have a mission.

  482. And I have a mission.

  483. I have been sent with a purpose.

  484. May those words ring in your ears.

  485. I want us to look at the book of Exodus today.

  486. We'll talk about a couple of things.

  487. First, let's read Exodus chapter three, verse eight.

  488. Exodus chapter three, verse eight.

  489. Let me ask you this.

  490. Does this excite you?

  491. Oh, not me, sorry.

  492. This.

  493. Does this excite you?

  494. Does this excite you?

  495. Does this excite you?

  496. Does this excite you?

  497. Does this excite you?

  498. Yeah.

  499. Yeah.

  500. Man, it should excite us.

  501. It should truly excite us.

  502. What a privilege it is for us to work with him.

  503. For him to reveal his plans to us.

  504. And say, this is what I care about.

  505. Do you care about the same things I care about?

  506. Let's read Exodus chapter three, verse eight.

  507. Exodus chapter three, verse eight.

  508. And I have come down to deliver them

  509. out of the hand of the Egyptians

  510. and to bring them up out of that land

  511. to a good and broad land,

  512. a land flowing with milk and honey.

  513. Exodus chapter three, verse eight.

  514. And I have come down, says God to Moses,

  515. to deliver them out of the land of the Egyptians

  516. and to bring them up out of the land

  517. to a good and broad land,

  518. a land flowing with milk and honey.

  519. After God says this, in Exodus chapter three,

  520. a few verses down, 13 and 14,

  521. Moses engages in a conversation with God.

  522. And Moses says, you know what, it sounds kind of good,

  523. but I have to now go to Pharaoh,

  524. I have to now go to the Israelites.

  525. I have no idea how they're gonna respond

  526. and react to what you're saying.

  527. I need to know your name.

  528. And God says, my name is I am who I am.

  529. God says, it doesn't matter who is asking,

  530. it doesn't matter what the need is,

  531. I am the creator,

  532. I am the one who is the self-existent one,

  533. there is nothing outside of me.

  534. So whatever your question is, I am the answer.

  535. Whatever the need is,

  536. I am the one who will meet those needs.

  537. I am who I am.

  538. I'm not limited by one thing.

  539. I am who I am.

  540. And so as we read through the Bible,

  541. there are different names of God,

  542. not one word defines him,

  543. it's just an attribute of him

  544. because he is I am who I am.

  545. So then think about it this way,

  546. when God says, my name is Jehovah-Nissi,

  547. when he says my name is Jehovah-Rapha,

  548. surely there is no healing required in heaven,

  549. healing is only needed on earth.

  550. So then the names of God

  551. are names given for us to inherit his promises.

  552. Because when he says, I am Jehovah-Shema,

  553. there is no need for peace in heaven,

  554. peace is already there.

  555. Heaven is peaceful.

  556. When he says Jehovah-Rapha,

  557. there is no healing required

  558. because there is no sickness in heaven,

  559. but sickness exists on earth.

  560. And only a few days ago,

  561. I found out because I was preparing for this,

  562. there is a name of God

  563. that we need to understand.

  564. And that name means the God who delivers.

  565. Jehovah-Melfati,

  566. M-E-L-P-H-A-T-I,

  567. Jehovah-Melfati,

  568. M-E-L-P-H-A-T-I,

  569. the God who delivers.

  570. So similarly, as I said before,

  571. there is no deliverance needed in heaven

  572. because heaven has freedom.

  573. The name is given for us to inherit his nature,

  574. his promises.

  575. So whenever in the Bible you see names of God

  576. and people calling him with specific names,

  577. it is us saying, this is who you are,

  578. I want to inherit your name.

  579. This is who you are,

  580. I want to inherit the blessings, the promises,

  581. all of the inheritance of this name,

  582. I want to appropriate it.

  583. That is why the name is important.

  584. So I want us to remember this name,

  585. Jehovah-Melfati,

  586. the recent being, he is

  587. and always has been a God who delivers.

  588. From the foundations of earth,

  589. he has been delivering.

  590. Story after story,

  591. it reveals his nature, his character, he saves.

  592. To a point, his son is the savior,

  593. he saves, he delivers.

  594. Our father delivers.

  595. Our father saves.

  596. He is Jehovah-Melfati.

  597. I may be pronouncing it wrong,

  598. but that doesn't matter.

  599. The name is he saves.

  600. He delivers.

  601. And knowing this name is important

  602. because when you know his name,

  603. you can stand on his nature.

  604. This is his nature.

  605. One of the things that we need to stand on

  606. is this nature of his

  607. in that he always delivers.

  608. He always saves.

  609. We haven't even looked at the New Testament yet

  610. because in the New Testament, this is

  611. revealed very clearly with what Jesus does.

  612. His blood rescues.

  613. His blood cleanses us.

  614. His blood saves us.

  615. But I want you guys to think about this.

  616. It is the nature of God to always deliver.

  617. It is in his nature to save.

  618. He finds something in trouble

  619. or someone in trouble, he goes, saves.

  620. That's his nature.

  621. It is innately part of who he is.

  622. He saves. He rescues. He delivers.

  623. And when I think of that this way,

  624. when I am so...

  625. Why is it that we have no trouble

  626. believing forgiveness for ourselves?

  627. There's no... I don't think there's anyone here

  628. who has any problem believing

  629. that we are forgiven.

  630. We are so confident.

  631. So confident about the fact that I am forgiven

  632. that you are forgiven.

  633. So confident.

  634. We've got to have the same confidence

  635. about him saving and delivering.

  636. We'll talk about it a little bit more.

  637. But this is who he is.

  638. So his assignment or his mission to us

  639. that, hey, I want to deliver young men and women

  640. from nations into the kingdom,

  641. he is not asking us to do something

  642. he has never done before.

  643. He is asking us to do something with him

  644. that he has always done.

  645. Because this is who he is.

  646. He delivers.

  647. Jehovah-Malphati.

  648. He delivers.

  649. He saves.

  650. He rescues.

  651. So before I even look at the outside world,

  652. he saves me.

  653. He delivers me.

  654. This is why Psalm 18.2, David writes,

  655. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer.

  656. My God is my rock in whom I take refuge,

  657. my shield and the horn of my salvation.

  658. In Psalm 40, verse 17, what is...

    Psalms 40:17

  659. David really got a hang of it.

  660. You go through the Bible, David writes about this

  661. over and over again, that he is a deliverer.

  662. Psalm 40, as for me, I am poor and needy,

  663. but the Lord takes thought for me.

  664. You are my help and my deliverer.

  665. Do not delay, O God.

  666. Psalm 70, verse 5, but I am poor and needy,

    Psalms 70:5

  667. hasten to me, O God, you are my help and my deliverer.

  668. O Lord, do not delay.

  669. So when you carry his name,

  670. you become the manifested inheritance of God to others.

  671. When I carry his name,

  672. when I know him,

  673. when I carry his name,

  674. when I carry his nature,

  675. when I carry his heart,

  676. when I carry who he is, his presence,

  677. because he is by nature, deliverer,

  678. I become someone who can manifest his nature of deliverance to others around me.

  679. Just some other things for us Christians,

  680. regardless of how many years we have been born again,

  681. it's so easy for us to believe.

  682. And I want us, because in the church,

  683. I'm not talking about Acts 29,

  684. if you look at Christianity,

  685. certain things are reserved for certain people.

  686. And what we are seeing is this is our father,

  687. this is for all of us.

  688. There is no need for deliverance ministries

  689. when his sons and daughters walk like this.

  690. Because this is who he is.

  691. So I want to inherit everything he is.

  692. I want to have everything he has for me.

  693. Why would I say yes to this, but no to that?

  694. I want all of it.

  695. And he'll teach us, he'll train us.

  696. That's the fun bit.

  697. We'll make mistakes just to learn.

  698. And we'll go at it again.

  699. But this is who he is.

  700. And so may there be, and the Holy Spirit will do it if you desire it,

  701. may there be such a conviction deep down in your heart

  702. that cannot be shaken by anyone or anything,

  703. that my God is a deliverer.

  704. That he is a deliverer.

  705. That he delivers.

  706. He delivers me, he delivers others around me.

  707. So if you look at, because we touched on Exodus and Egypt,

  708. if you look at Egypt,

  709. there is Pharaoh, there is Israelites,

  710. there is the Jews, there is the Jews of Egypt,

  711. there is the Jews of Egypt, there is the Jews of Egypt,

  712. there is Israelite,

  713. this guy is an evil tyrant,

  714. an oppressor.

  715. Israelites, God refers to them and says,

  716. my people, my people.

  717. And we've got to hear what he says about the world as well.

  718. My people.

  719. And in Exodus it says, God heard their cries

  720. and their groanings.

  721. So in the world today,

  722. if you read Ephesians chapter 2, verse 2,

    Ephesians 2:2

  723. there is an evil oppressor.

  724. Following the course of this world,

  725. following the prince of the power of the air,

  726. the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience.

  727. Evil tyrant, an oppressor.

  728. The book of Exodus is but a shadow of what's happening.

  729. There is an evil tyrant, oppressor,

  730. prince of the power of air,

  731. and the sons of disobedience follow him,

  732. are bound by him.

  733. And if God rescued out Israelites out of Egypt,

  734. away from this tyrant,

  735. he is saving

  736. my people, which is everyone on earth,

  737. because his blood was shed for everyone.

  738. His blood was shed to cleanse, to save everyone.

  739. And again, this is where I am really interested in us

  740. seeing people when we go out and having this in our mind.

  741. I'm really not interested in us

  742. thinking my people and getting it in our head somewhere,

  743. but when we live it, it hasn't come here.

  744. His people.

  745. His people, the sons of disobedience,

  746. they are paid already for by him.

  747. They just don't know it.

  748. Well, if the Israelites, they cried and groaned,

  749. the truth here is that

  750. many don't

  751. cry, many don't groan because they don't know.

  752. Some cry and some groan.

  753. There are many people.

  754. One of the things

  755. I've learned from Wally is

  756. this has become more real to me.

  757. Because I see people,

  758. some, many don't know that they need a savior,

  759. but some desperately do.

  760. Some desperately cry.

  761. Some are just waiting for someone to come.

  762. Many don't, some do.

  763. And it says again in Exodus that

  764. God heard

  765. their cries and their groanings.

  766. And today, the Father hears

  767. their cries and their groanings.

  768. And again in the book of Exodus,

  769. God reminds of a promise.

  770. He reminds us of a promise.

  771. In Exodus, God reminds of a promise

  772. that he made to Abraham and Isaac and Jacob.

  773. And he repeatedly talks about this to Moses.

  774. And says, Moses, I made a covenant.

  775. And everything that I promised, I'll bring to pass.

  776. We've got to see this narrative, this promise, this assignment

  777. in the light of this.

  778. That in this world,

  779. he is sending us,

  780. because they are his people,

  781. young men and women with an emphasis on them.

  782. Many of them don't know him.

  783. Many of them don't even,

  784. because they don't know him, they don't cry, they don't groan,

  785. because they think it's all good.

  786. And some do.

  787. Some are bound.

  788. Some know there is something wrong.

  789. Some know there is something that needs change.

  790. Some know that they are being assaulted.

  791. Some cry, some groan.

  792. And he sends us there.

  793. For God heard, well, he hears still.

  794. No, he hears.

  795. He sees, he hears.

  796. And there was a promise made to Abraham.

  797. And that promise,

  798. through Christ, has been extended to everyone.

  799. That he will deliver.

  800. That he will make things new.

  801. I like the fact that

  802. we become part of his story so easily.

  803. And you've got to,

  804. I don't know, you've got to,

  805. you've got to receive it with that mentality,

  806. that father, this is just who you are,

  807. and I'm just going to be your father.

  808. And you've got to,

  809. you've got to receive it with that mentality,

  810. that father, this is just who you are,

  811. and I'll give my life to this.

  812. Because the different things we'll do will be different.

  813. We won't all be doing the same stuff.

  814. Because we are all built differently,

  815. made differently for different things.

  816. If I try to do what Jeremy tries,

  817. what Jeremy does,

  818. I have been given what he has given me.

  819. I have to stay on my path

  820. and work towards that direction with him.

  821. And he becomes so much beautiful

  822. because there are so many colors,

  823. there are so many different types of fabric,

  824. there are so many stories,

  825. there are so many interconnections.

  826. We don't even see, but he takes pleasure in.

  827. I really love it.

  828. I like going into rooms, going into places,

  829. thinking, how is he seeing this?

  830. Because there are so many threads

  831. being connected together here

  832. that I don't even see,

  833. but my goodness, when he sees it,

  834. he leaps.

  835. Because he's been trying to do all of these things together.

  836. There's a book, The Grand Weaver.

  837. He puts everything together.

  838. So please see it this way,

  839. that in this world, we are of a different kingdom.

  840. And all of them are his people.

  841. There is an emphasis on the young men and women.

  842. Many don't know him, they don't cry, they don't groan,

  843. but he hears their cries.

  844. Let's move on to the next one.

  845. In the same story,

  846. once Moses is told that he wants,

  847. that God wants Moses to go

  848. and deliver the Israelites out of Egypt,

  849. Moses raises concerns

  850. and says, you know, how will they believe?

  851. What will happen?

  852. And God asks this question,

  853. what is in your hand?

  854. He asks this question,

  855. what is in your hand?

  856. And Moses says, I've got a staff in my hand.

  857. We know the story,

  858. so we don't need to spend too much time there.

  859. But the question is important.

  860. What is in your hand?

  861. God obviously knows what is in his hand.

  862. He just wants Moses to tell him

  863. what is in his hand.

  864. And Moses responds by saying,

  865. I'm a shepherd, I've got the shepherd staff.

  866. When God asks us

  867. with regards to what we are hearing,

  868. what is in your hand,

  869. sometimes we can look at what happened in the past,

  870. we can look at our failings,

  871. because Moses had a staff in his hand.

  872. He had a lot of failings,

  873. because Moses had a lot of failings.

  874. Moses had a past that wasn't perfect.

  875. When he came out of Egypt,

  876. he still had Egypt left in him.

  877. Which is why over a period of time,

  878. God removed Egypt out of him.

  879. So when God asks us,

  880. what do you have in your hand?

  881. How do we respond?

  882. Really what Moses did is,

  883. Moses said, I have the staff.

  884. And God said, put it down, throw it down.

  885. When you throw it down, it becomes a soap.

  886. When you take it up by its tail,

  887. it becomes a staff again.

  888. Here is a sign, here is a wonder.

  889. You go with this, they will know that I sent you.

  890. And Moses tried

  891. to look at everything that happened in the past

  892. and he felt he was not ready,

  893. he was not good enough.

  894. And one of the things guys,

  895. it's the same thing that happens with us today.

  896. We feel that we may not be the right people to do it.

  897. But that is exactly what the Father wants to address.

  898. That we are in fact,

  899. exactly the right people to do it.

  900. Who is perfect in this room?

  901. We walk with him,

  902. we depend on him,

  903. we make mistakes, he still takes care of us.

  904. But the attempt

  905. to make us think that we can't do it

  906. comes from the devil.

  907. Because then you become important.

  908. You cannot produce,

  909. you cannot reproduce.

  910. You have to.

  911. God has given you things.

  912. Now the best part guys is

  913. if he is asking the same question today,

  914. he will not ask you

  915. what is in your hand.

  916. He will ask you who is in you.

  917. The Old Testament question was

  918. what is in your hand?

  919. In the New Testament for us,

  920. he will not ask that question,

  921. I guarantee you.

  922. He will ask one question.

  923. Who is in you?

  924. And if you

  925. respond to that question,

  926. you will be able to answer

  927. respond to that question

  928. and say the spirit

  929. of the living God,

  930. then you are ready

  931. for the task at hand.

  932. Who is in you?

  933. He who is

  934. greater than the one

  935. in the world.

  936. He who is greater

  937. than the one

  938. in the world.

  939. Jesus is greater,

  940. his spirit is greater

  941. than the prince of the power of the air.

  942. So the question that he asks us

  943. is not what is in your hand.

  944. He asks us

  945. who is in you?

  946. Who is in you?

  947. All through the Old Testament you see

  948. David could have said

  949. I don't have what Saul is wearing there.

  950. That guy has stuff on him,

  951. the shield and all of that.

  952. I have five stones.

  953. The widow in Elijah's story,

  954. she had

  955. just a flask of oil.

  956. So all through the Old Testament

  957. you see God asking the question

  958. because that question is important.

  959. Even in the New Testament,

  960. you see the question being asked of the boy,

  961. what do you have?

  962. If it was Don,

  963. five loaves of bread and two fish,

  964. Don would have kept it all for himself to eat it.

  965. Wouldn't even have said it.

  966. I don't have anything.

  967. I know you're watching online just trying to say it.

  968. I don't have anything.

  969. I don't have anything. What did you want?

  970. He was asked

  971. and the boy said,

  972. I have this.

  973. It doesn't make any sense.

  974. Why would this make sense? This is for me.

  975. But the question is always important.

  976. The question is repeated

  977. all through the Bible.

  978. What is in your hand?

  979. And now I'm telling you, he won't ask you what is in your hand.

  980. Because it doesn't matter

  981. what is in your hand.

  982. What matters is who is in you.

  983. And who is in you?

  984. And the answer is,

  985. the Spirit of God

  986. is in me.

  987. Which is why Jesus in Luke chapter 4

    Luke 4 chapter mention

  988. reads out,

  989. The Spirit of God has anointed me.

  990. Which is why Isaiah 61

  991. says,

  992. The Spirit of God is upon me

  993. to bring good news to the poor.

  994. To bind up the broken hearted.

  995. Keeps on going.

  996. So can we guys live like this?

  997. Which is why, you know, it's all interconnected.

  998. The stuff we are talking

  999. is all coming together.

  1000. We've got to live a life

1001. where the Spirit of God

1002. has full control of our lives.

1003. That the flesh and the mind

1004. aligns with what the Spirit

  1005. wants to do.

  1006. We recognize

1007. the fullness of God in us.

1008. We recognize that he is

  1009. full in us.

1010. And we live that way.

  1011. When we do,

1012. we are being trained and things will happen.

1013. There is nothing else needed.

1014. We don't need to complicate anything.

1015. It's as simple as that.

  1016. There is no need

  1017. to make it harder.

  1018. It's a simple message.

  1019. And when you know

  1020. who is in you,

  1021. can you respond with,

  1022. here I am?

  1023. Here I am.

  1024. Then you've fully understood

1025. that it is not about you

  1026. that

1027. the Holy Spirit in you

1028. is able to do these things

  1029. if you yield yourself

  1030. to him.

1031. Then you can say fully,

  1032. here I am,

1033. because he will take control.

1034. He will take you to the places

  1035. you need to go.

1036. It is important to state this.

  1037. Your hurt,

  1038. your disappointments,

  1039. your victories, your freedom,

1040. the good, the bad, the ugly,

1041. he takes care of it.

1042. He takes care of it.

  1043. Please understand,

1044. the attempt is always to make you

1045. feel like you can't do it.

1046. And that you are not able to,

1047. that you will not be able to do it.

1048. And Jesus' response is always,

  1049. who is in you?

  1050. Who is in you?

  1051. Who is in you?

  1052. Who is in you?

  1053. So Israel's freedom was

  1054. preceded by Moses giving

1055. what he had in his hands.

  1056. Jesus did the same.

  1057. He surrendered in obedience.

  1058. Next.

1059. I want to touch on one more thing

1060. and we will begin to wrap up.

1061. So in Exodus chapter 3,

    Exodus 3 chapter mention

  1062. same chapter again,

  1063. verse 20,

1064. God says this to Moses,

1065. so I will stretch out

  1066. my hand,

1067. see what it says there?

1068. So I will stretch out

  1069. my hand,

1070. so I will stretch out

  1071. my hand,

1072. so I will stretch out

1073. my hand and strike Egypt

1074. with all the wonders that I will do in it.

  1075. After that,

1076. he will let you go.

1077. So if you were to read

  1078. through the entire story,

1079. you will see the first plague,

1080. the second plague, the third plague.

1081. Moses just listens to God,

1082. does exactly what God says.

  1083. No moving left

1084. or right from what he says.

1085. That is exactly the thing.

  1086. First plague is done,

1087. second plague is done, third plague is done.

1088. By the time we get to the fourth plague,

  1089. which is the

  1090. seventh plague, the hail,

  1091. in verse 29,

  1092. Pharaoh says,

1093. I am going to let you guys go.

1094. Before he hardens his heart again,

1095. he says, I am going to let you guys go.

  1096. Moses

  1097. does one thing differently

1098. by the time the seventh plague comes.

1099. And it is important for us to note that.

  1100. What he does is,

1101. God had already said, as I read out in chapter 3,

1102. that he will stretch out

  1103. his hands.

1104. And when God stretches out his hands,

1105. things will happen on earth.

1106. After the first six plagues,

1107. when it gets to the seventh plague,

  1108. once the plague hits,

1109. and the plague has to be stopped,

1110. Moses, for the first time,

1111. does not go to God

1112. and pray, can you stop the plague?

1113. and pray, can you stop the plague?

1114. He, for the first time,

1115. tells Pharaoh, once I am out of here,

1116. I will stretch my hand,

1117. and the plague will stop.

  1118. It is important,

1119. because we've got to realize

  1120. that Jehovah,

  1121. he is in us.

1122. That his spirit is in us.

  1123. And that,

1124. what God actually expects of you and I,

  1125. is not to pray,

1126. Father, can you do it?

1127. Because it is his nature,

1128. and this is who he is,

1129. he would like me and you,

1130. to stretch out our hands,

1131. to accomplish that he wants to accomplish.

1132. Moses got it by the seventh time.

  1133. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,

  1134. Oh, I see a pattern.

1135. Whenever I do this here,

  1136. he does this there.

1137. Which is why Jesus said,

1138. What you lose on earth,

1139. will be bound in heaven.

1140. What you lose on earth,

1141. will be loosed in heaven.

1142. So you and I, have to then,

1143. look at this and go,

1144. he has actually given me the responsibility,

1145. to lose and to bind.

1146. I am not asking him,

  1147. can you lose?

  1148. And can you bind?

1149. He said, you go and lose,

  1150. you go and bind.

1151. So all that is required then,

1152. is for me to know,

1153. that his spirit lives inside me.

1154. That it is his fullness,

1155. and that he has commissioned me already,

1156. he has given me all the authority,

1157. to already do the things,

1158. that he wants me to do.

  1159. So it's not a power,

1160. prayer is not the answer to this.

1161. Prayer is part of our intimacy with him.

1162. It is part of our lifestyle with him.

  1163. We somehow think,

1164. that is the answer to what he is saying.

1165. The answer to the problem,

1166. is you stretch out your hand.

1167. Knowing who is inside you.

  1168. We are image bearers.

1169. And then the word image bearers,

  1170. make even more sense.

  1171. We are image bearers.

  1172. We are image bearers.

1173. And I want to give us a

1174. I want to give us a new name.

  1175. We are name manifestors.

  1176. Meaning, his nature,

1177. we manifest here on earth.

  1178. His nature,

1179. we manifest here on earth.

  1180. And can we then,

  1181. walk the streets,

1182. can we then walk the streets,

  1183. actually believing fully,

  1184. that as I walk,

  1185. he is in me,

  1186. and as I bind,

  1187. things will be bound,

  1188. that I lose,

  1189. that I lose,

  1190. that I lose,

  1191. that I lose,

  1192. that I lose,

  1193. that I lose,

  1194. things will be bound,

  1195. that as I lose,

  1196. things will be lost.

1197. It doesn't happen just like that.

1198. We have to train ourselves in it,

  1199. day in, day out.

1200. And we grow in it.

1201. We mature in it, more and more.

1202. And then it just becomes part of who we are.

1203. Which is why when I started,

  1204. I started by saying,

1205. remember the stuff we have learned over 6, 7 years ago?

1206. It's so much, become part of our lives.

1207. will be if we receive it. This will be so much part of our lives. We don't have to

1208. complicate it. It's simple. It's our Father's inheritance for us. And one of

1209. my favorite passages, Mark chapter 16, it's beautifully written there. And what

    Mark 16 chapter mention

1210. are the three things that... Let's just summarize it as three things. When we

1211. talk about young men and women from nations being delivered, delivered from

1212. sin, delivered from sickness, delivered from bondage. We can make it more, but for

1213. now let's put it all together. Who? Delivered from sin. The gospel. Preach the

1214. gospel. Sickness. He has already sent a healing word. We speak. He has already

1215. taken the penalty for our sickness. Bondage. Mark chapter 16. The cost of it,

    Mark 16 chapter mention

1216. you bind it. You cast out demons. You cast out whatever problem, whatever the

1217. root causes. You bind it. So then when it comes to sin and sickness and bondage, we

1218. have the answer. Mark chapter 16. Just read it and there lies the answer.

    Mark 16 chapter mention

1219. I want us to just look at one more thing and then Brandon will lead us in

1220. communion. Oftentimes when we repeat the words or words in the Bible, let my

1221. people go, we stop there. Let my people go. But actually when you read it over

1222. and over again, it doesn't stop with let my people go. It says let my people go

1223. that they may serve me and from nations into the kingdom. The idea is not to

1224. stop with a bondage being broken. The idea is not one sickness just being

1225. healed. The idea is that that then becomes a pathway for them to step into

1226. the kingdom by saying I need this king and this kingdom. One of the things that

1227. we've been talking about is the gospel. We've got to live it. We've got to speak

1228. it in our conversations and then we're prepared. We're not using big words. The

1229. gospel is simple words for simple people. When it comes to sickness, we have

1230. a father who heals. When it comes to bondage, we have a father who delivers.

1231. So who is in you? Who is in you? Can we walk in the awareness of who is in us?

1232. Can we believe that because of who is in us, we become his feet on earth, his hands

1233. on earth. Can you use your tongue and your mouth in a way that you care about

1234. what comes out of it to a point where you stop speaking certain words and certain

1235. ways of speaking because you want your mouth to be his mouthpiece? Because you

1236. care. Can you do that? Can you order your steps in such a way that your legs will

1237. never enter those rooms? Can you look at your hands and say these hands are meant

1238. to serve him and serve him only? Can you think about your mind and say and talk to

1239. and say mind be conformed to the image of my savior? Can you then walk the streets,

1240. go to work, go to UBC, Sam, with the mind of Christ knowing fully well that the spirit

1241. of God is inside you, fully inside you, that you're different from every other person

1242. in the room, that when you speak, things happen, that in the room are others who are depressed

1243. and anxious. You have the answer for the depression and anxiety that when you speak,

1244. because all that David needed to do was play his instrument. As soon as David played his instrument,

1245. things happened that it's not about big words. It's not about anything else but saying Jesus,

1246. I am yours. You have all of me. I will walk in. I will trust in you and I'm going to give my life

1247. to you for this. Let's live like this. Brandon, do you want to come up?

1248. So this might be a little bit weird. I'm at this place in talking where I'm comfortable

1249. going without a script, but I'm still making a script. So I might say things and then repeat

1250. it from the script. I'm going to start by reading from Luke 22 19 to 20, which is where Jesus

  1251. does the first communion.

1252. And then he took the bread and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them saying,

1253. this is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me. And likewise, the cup after

1254. they had eaten saying this cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.

1255. And so focusing on the do this in remembrance of me, we're going to read John 2 13 to 22.

1256. So this is the point where Jesus cleanses the temple.

1257. So the Passover of the Jews was at hand and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple,

1258. he found those who were selling oxen and sheep and pigeons and the money changers sitting there

1259. and making a whip out of cords. He drove them all out of the temple with the sheep and the oxen.

1260. And he poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. And he told those who

1261. sold the pigeons, take these things away. Do not make my father's house a house of trade.

1262. His disciples remembered what is written zeal for your house will consume me. So the Jews said to

1263. him and in this case, the Jews is specifically the religious leaders. What sign do you show us

1264. for doing these things? Jesus answered them, destroy this temple and in three days I will

1265. raise it up. The religious leaders then said, it has taken 46 years to build this temple. And will

1266. you raise it up in three days? But he was speaking about the temple of his body. Therefore he was

1267. raised from the dead. When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he

1268. had said this and they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.

1269. So one of the things that we are supposed to remember when we do communion is that communion,

1270. one of the things communion is to do is to keep us from religiosity. It's to be a regular reminder

1271. to purge religious traditions and trappings from our lives and

1272. from us as a corporate body. That when one of the things that Jesus did was in when he

1273. went into the temple there was that those money changes and things had become a traditional part

1274. of what went on in the temple as part of the religion versus part of following God.

1275. And Jesus threw that out. And so in remembering him and what he did that is one of the things that we

1276. are to remember. So when we do communion we need to approach it every time as a fresh conversation

1277. with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit so that every time that we partake in it so that it

1278. in itself doesn't become a religious tradition. Because if communion itself becomes a religious

1279. tradition then it's no longer one of the things that will keep us from falling into other religious

1280. traditions. So don't just partake in communion because it's something that we do. We have a

1281. personal relationship with the creator of the universe and the Son's death on the cross is the

1282. reason that we have that relationship. So as we partake just remember that and remember that this

1283. isn't just something that we do that this is the reason that we have that relationship with God.

1284. So if you guys want to come pass out the bread and the juice and then we'll pray and partake as a group.

1285. Okay so we don't just partake in communion because it's something that we do. We have a personal

1286. relationship with the creator of the universe and the Son's the Son of God's death on the cross is

1287. the reason that we have this relationship. And so we do this to remember what he did and who he was

1288. when he lived on this earth. So Father God thank you for sending your Son so that we can can speak

1289. with you face to face. And Jesus that Son thank you for coming willingly. Thank you for volunteering.

1290. Thank you for for going of your own volition and making this choice to come to live in among us and

1291. to show us who God is through your life and through your death. And that that for being that perfect

1292. sacrifice that allows us to have this relationship. Again thank you. Amen.

1293. I just feel we need to respond to that the message

1294. that you have to know that by this message today there was an old wineskin that was broken today.

1295. There is an old wineskin that was broken today that even though it's not a new thing we know

1296. that God is in us. We know that it's not about what we have in our hands and these are not new

1297. things to us. But there is something about today you have to know we need to know that it was broken

1298. today. There is an old wineskin old thinking that was broken today. It is done. It was done. And so

1299. that's why I feel like we need to respond not to let it go because we need to start speaking it

1300. singing in that walking in that so that we don't leave the same way we came in because we can't

  1301. afford to do that.

  1302. I

  1303. there is new freedom

1304. for your kingdom is here and I laid out my old

  1305. carry your new

  1306. new

1307. there is new power there is new freedom

1308. and your kingdom is here oh I laid out my old

  1309. carry your new

  1310. day

1311. make me an offering make me whatever

1312. you want me to be

1313. God I came here with nothing but all you have given me Jesus bring new

  1314. Jesus bring new

  1315. peace

1316. amen so let's go out knowing that something has been broken new old wineskin has been cracked

1317. he cracked it for us today and we get to go out he's gonna pour a new wine this week

1318. he's gonna pour new wine this week so bless you we'll see you next week
