  1. All righty. Hey, so Sebastian wants to get baptized too. And he may not be here next

  2. week so we'll have to do baptism the week after. So we'll either try and do both together

  3. or we'll try... When are you back Sebastian? Okay, so we might have to do Davan separately

  4. and him separately. Can't wait that long. It'll be a problem. You won't be able to read

  5. the Bible. So we'll work on that. And then guys, when you come up for prayer, if you

  6. see prayers answered, please testify to them. At the church we were going to rent in Ladner,

  7. they have a big jar in which they put prayer requests. Whenever a prayer is answered, someone

  8. drops a pebble into another jar. And it's nice to see one of the jars filling up. So

  9. prayers answered, please come and talk about it so that the ones who are praying are encouraged,

  10. among other things. I think that was it. Yeah.

  11. Okay. We said last time that one of the things God wanted us to know was that as we now moved

  12. from Joyce and we are temporarily here for two months and then move to wherever God will

  13. hopefully give us a more permanent place, that the next 12 months or so was called the

  14. year of Joseph. The year of Joseph, that's what we said. So just want to do a one-off

  15. thing on Joseph this week and then we'll continue with another topic that I want you to look

  16. at when you go home. Read Acts chapter 2, verse 22. Acts 2, 22. Just want to touch on

    Acts 2:22

  17. that for a second before I start with this. One of the things that we are seeing, oh,

  18. by the way, these are offering boxes, not sound boxes. So just in case you thought,

  19. I saw the kids jumping over it. Yeah. In case you thought it was to plug something in, it's

  20. to plug your wallets in. Yeah. So Acts 2, 22 says, and Jesus Christ was a man attested

  21. by God with signs and wonders and miracles, that he was attested by God. And without that

  22. kind of attestation, most of the things we say kind of begin to sound hollow. There must

  23. be power to the words that we speak. Words must accompany words. Is that how loud it

  24. is?

  25. Just so you know, there's no hub. There's no hub meetings for this month and next month

  26. just because there's enough for everyone to do. And so we'll take a two-month hiatus from

  27. hub meetings. House Church is still on. Hub is off for the next little while. And then

  28. for the next little while, we'll have a little bit of a chat. So I'm going to take a few

  29. minutes to talk about the things that we're seeing. So I'm going to start with the first

  30. thing that we're seeing. So we're seeing the first thing that we're seeing is the

  31. meeting environment. Checking. So ke MIX. Sorry, there is a makeshift, mostly rumored

  32. to be tried oncelc, get it onaments. Checking. So we have lord of the

  33. circle, Joseph Chndtvnon. Charting the

  34. ICH1

  35. we'll talk about, and she named him Joseph.

  36. That's from Genesis 40, verse 23 and 24 talk about it.

    Genesis 40:23

  37. So what does it mean when we say year of Joseph?

  38. What does it mean for us?

  39. What happens when we say that the months ahead

  40. is a time when God will do a Joseph for us?

  41. Is that God will add, God will add.

  42. And when God adds, he uses another word.

  43. The word is multiply.

  44. God will add or God will multiply.

  45. He will generate it.

  46. He will generate it.

  47. So kind of expect it in your life.

  48. Anything that happens from God to a people

  49. affects every family, every individual.

  50. So in the different areas of your life,

  51. be they financial, relational, spiritual,

  52. begin to think like this, that in the next 12 months

  53. I must expect things to increase for me in every realm.

  54. It's not just financial.

  55. I've seen this work many times where someone comes

  56. and speaks and says this is what's gonna happen

  57. and then for the next while, without you having

  58. developed any extra contact, without you having gotten

  59. another new job, without you having made any investment,

  60. things begin to prosper.

  61. I don't know if you remember, but in the,

  62. we were at Pilgrim at that time and for New Year's,

  63. we had Roland, Eddie, Pastor Mike, all these guys

  64. send video words for the church.

  65. And one of the words that was said was you will invest

  66. and your investments will see great profit.

  67. And I actually took that word to heart.

  68. I don't know a thing about investing.

  69. But I just trusted that what God would say

  70. would begin to happen.

  71. And the investments that were made were very simple

  72. investments, but they began to pay off big time.

  73. I was very surprised, because I've got no skill.

  74. If you ask me for investment advice,

  75. I guarantee you I'll lose your money.

  76. So, and yet it began to change.

  77. Why am I sharing that personal anecdote?

  78. Because sometimes when God says something to a body

  79. as a whole, if we are able to receive it and then

  80. exert a degree of faith, trusting that God is promising

  81. this, it is possible for those words to come to pass

  82. for each individual, each family.

  83. And so one of the things being said here,

  84. hey, by the way, just on the side,

  85. when you read Acts chapter two, what happened

  86. when the Holy Spirit came?

  87. What is said?

  88. True, but what was the effect when the Holy Spirit

  89. came into the room?

  90. That was what happened to them.

  91. What was the...

  92. Yeah, I thought that there was a mighty rushing wind.

  93. First time I found out that there was no mighty rushing wind.

  94. It was just the sound of a mighty rushing wind.

  95. There was no wind.

  96. It was just the sound of the mighty rushing wind.

  97. And people didn't come to, come and gather around

  98. because they heard the sound of the mighty rushing wind.

  99. It says they heard the sound of people speaking

  100. in their own languages.

  101. They were attracted to people speaking in their own languages,

  102. not to the mighty rushing wind.

  103. I think sometimes we sing songs like,

  104. come like the rushing wind.

  105. There was no wind that day.

  106. It was just a sound.

  107. And it says, the sounds of heaven.

  108. And it so happened that it was the sound

  109. of a mighty rushing wind.

  110. But it was not blowing candles out.

  111. It was just a sound.

  112. And then later on, it was the sound of people speaking

  113. in 12, 13 different languages.

  114. And people gathered around to listen

  115. because this was a very strange thing.

  116. Why did that come up suddenly?

  117. Guys, use the breath in our lungs and our words.

  118. Yeah?

  119. Sometimes without knowing you speak things

  120. for God or to God in the process.

  121. Use it, even in very simple circumstances.

  122. It doesn't have to be a shout.

  123. This has to be a whisper, but speak it.

  124. God will add, he will generate it.

  125. So expect, if you're able to exert faith to walk in this,

  126. then I believe it will be something

  127. that all of us can benefit from.

  128. And so I'll have to exert faith for it too.

  129. So God will add.

  130. So in creation accounts, multiplication,

  131. in all creation accounts, like if we take

  132. the first two chapters of Genesis,

  133. you'll find that multiplication is a blessing

  134. God speaks on Adam.

  135. God speaks on Adam.

  136. And then when he recreates in Genesis 11, after the flood,

  137. he again speaks that we need to see

  138. this as something normal for God.

  139. It's just that our experience may not say so,

  140. but let's hear the sound of heaven

  141. and let's begin to show others

  142. that this can be true for us even now.

  143. That just as Adam heard it, just as Noah heard it,

  144. just as Abraham heard it, so let it be ours too.

  145. Just as Jacob heard it, just as Jesus heard it,

  146. just as the 12 heard it on the mountain when he said,

  147. from Judea to Samaria to the ends of the earth.

  148. Multiplication is a blessing from God.

  149. It's not some strange phenomena.

  150. He blesses this way.

  151. Your father blesses you by multiplying things.

  152. Your father blesses you by multiplying things in your life,

  153. not in someone else's life so you can talk about it,

  154. in your life.

  155. And as we say multiply, don't focus only on finances.

  156. Multiplication is on many, many different levels.

  157. For Israel it was children and it was cattle.

  158. That might not be your favorite thing today.

  159. But he multiplies this on multiple levels, eh?

  160. Later multiplication is promised to Abraham.

  161. It's promised to Isaac.

  162. It's promised to Israel.

  163. This is what God does.

  164. And so in Genesis 49, 22,

  165. God declares it on Joseph, declares it on Joseph.

  166. And he says to Joseph, listen,

  167. I will make you fruitful.

  168. So another word for multiplication,

  169. if you wanna get rid of the math,

  170. which I'm sure brings nightmares even today for many of us,

  171. another word for multiplication is fruitfulness.

  172. Fruitfulness, how about that?

  173. Being fruitful.

  174. Again, being fruitful is not with regard to children

  175. or with regard to a business.

  176. Being fruitful is in every area.

  177. Don't you want that?

  178. To be fruitful.

  179. These are blessings of your father.

  180. These are not strange things in the Old Testament.

  181. It's for us now to be fruitful.

  182. And so fruitfulness is another word for multiplication.

  183. And he says to Joseph, Joseph, you're a fruitful branch.

  184. And so you know what Joseph does?

  185. See, here's how you believe and walk in something.

  186. God says to Joseph, hey, man, Prashant,

  187. you're sitting with your arm around you too now, huh?

  188. Not bad, not bad.

  189. You guys are married.

  190. Before it was arms on this side.

  191. Now it's arm around.

  192. Alrighty, Pawan, you keep your arms to yourself.

  193. Okay.

  194. Okay.

  195. So, sorry.

  196. Yeah, so look at what Joseph does.

  197. God says to him, you're a fruitful branch.

  198. Guess what Joseph names his son?

  199. Ephraim.

  200. And you know what Ephraim means?

  201. Double fruitfulness.

  202. That's what the word Ephraim means.

  203. Ephraim means double fruitfulness.

  204. Faith shows.

  205. Faith shows in the words we speak,

  206. in the actions we take.

  207. Faith shows.

  208. What are you gonna call the next 12 months

  209. in your own language, in your own ways?

  210. What are you gonna call it?

  211. Joseph did that.

  212. He said, God said that I am going to be a fruitful branch.

  213. Well then, I'll name my son Ephraim.

  214. And Ephraim means double fruitfulness.

  215. That is faith.

  216. And so, in the very name Joseph,

  217. what God is saying is, I will add.

  218. And God doesn't add once.

  219. I will add and I will keep adding.

  220. Because God doesn't stop.

  221. I didn't pick that song deliberately,

  222. but one of the words in that song says,

  223. you fill me up and when I am full,

  224. you, what does it say?

  225. You fill me up when I am full.

  226. You give me more till I overflow.

  227. What a beautiful line.

  228. He doesn't stop because he's added.

  229. This must become our expectation.

  230. It's very hard for us to think of a God like this.

  231. But this must become our expectation.

  232. Even if two people here have this expectation,

  233. then it'll catch.

  234. Two people here have that expectation, it'll catch.

  235. In a congregation this size,

  236. you don't need more than two or three.

  237. And it'll start catching.

  238. And it's not about finances.

  239. Fruitfulness covers so many areas.

  240. Beginning with the Holy Spirit

  241. and the fruit that he cultivates in our life.

  242. There is no greater fruitfulness

  243. than the fruit of Christ born in our lives.

  244. Even that is part of this.

  245. These are blessings.

  246. And this is what he's saying.

  247. And this is what he's saying.

  248. The next 12 months can be for you

  249. if you can receive this ticket.

  250. Next one is multiplication of fruitfulness.

  251. Multiplication of fruitfulness begins with God,

  252. not with man.

  253. It begins with God.

  254. It begins with God.

  255. You see that in Genesis 11.

  256. In Genesis 11, Nimrod gets all the people together

  257. around the Tower of Babel.

  258. And he says, let's gather together.

  259. And by coming together, we can be stronger

  260. and we can do great things.

  261. And it ended up in division.

  262. And yet, in Genesis 12, God multiplies everything

  263. through one man, Abraham.

  264. God multiplies through one man.

  265. God multiplies through one man.

  266. In Isaiah it says, look at your father and your mother.

  267. Look at the quarry that I have dug you out of.

  268. Out of one man, I created nations.

  269. So God multiplies with just one man

  270. or little oil or two fish or one staff.

  271. It's always with very, very little.

  272. So there's no one exempt here.

  273. No one exempt from this.

  274. That's a great thing about any blessing that God gives.

  275. Blessings of God aren't something

  276. that you require certain qualifications for.

  277. There are some blessings that are conditional.

  278. You do this, I'll do this.

  279. And then there are some blessings that are natural.

  280. Natural to whom?

  281. Natural to him.

  282. There are some blessings that are conditional.

  283. If you obey me, I will do this.

  284. And then there are some blessings that are natural.

  285. Natural to whom?

  286. Natural to him.

  287. It is how he does things.

  288. When he blesses, it is very natural for him

  289. to take the little that you have and then increase it.

  290. You don't have to go and get more for this to happen.

  291. So start with what you have.

  292. If you're able at any point tonight or this week

  293. to go and say, okay, I want to believe this

  294. or I do believe this or help my unbelief,

  295. then you start this process.

  296. I've seen it work, guys.

  297. Yeah.

  298. Multiplication is initiated by God.

  299. It's the work of the Holy Spirit, really.

  300. The Holy Spirit initiates it.

  301. Initiates it and then he sustains it.

  302. So how does this work?

  303. It is sustained according to your capacity.

  304. It's sustained according to your capacity

  305. and it's sustained according to your faith.

  306. That is something that can increase

  307. or keep the blessing at a certain level.

  308. So what do you mean by that?

  309. Guys, one of the things God does is

  310. he knows he wants to bless and then he'll say,

  311. you give them something to eat.

  312. What does he want you to do?

  313. Take the little that you have and say,

  314. all right, I trust you.

  315. When did the oil stop?

  316. When the vessels ran out.

  317. How I work with God when he has a desire to bless

  318. often depends on how my capacity is

  319. and the faith that I have.

  320. Let's just stop there if you have any questions.

  321. If I had a question, my question is,

  322. what do you mean by capacity?

  323. Capacity is increased through expectation and faith.

  324. Capacity is increased through expectation.

  325. What's your expectation?

  326. And your expectation increases through your knowledge of God.

  327. The more you know somebody, the more your expectation of them.

  328. I have different expectations of people.

  329. The more I know you, the more I can expect of you.

  330. If I needed something, the more I know you,

  331. the more I can expect from you.

  332. The less I know you, the less I can expect from you.

  333. So capacity is dependent on expectation.

  334. Capacity is dependent on expectation.

  335. Expectation is dependent on knowledge of God.

  336. The more you know him, the more you expect,

  337. the greater your capacity.

  338. And therefore, God is then able to keep on, keep on, keep on.

  339. Add to that faith, and now you have a great combo.

  340. Once you have these three, exert faith.

  341. This is how people did things in the Old Testament

  342. and the New Testament.

  343. Our problem is we find it very hard to think of a God

  344. who blesses just like that.

  345. It's not our experience, or it's not our present experience,

  346. both as a church at Acts 29 and churches outside.

  347. Are we not talking about wealth?

  348. Please don't confine it to wealth.

  349. Pardon?

  350. There are certain things where God says,

  351. if you do this, I will bless you.

  352. If you do this, then you will be robbed by the enemy.

  353. So that is when it's conditional.

  354. So even the blessing of eternal life is conditional.

  355. Eternal life is not mine till I receive Christ,

  356. and see Christ says, Lord.

  357. So his love is unconditional,

  358. but eternal life is conditional.

  359. This can't be worked in a day because it's very hard.

  360. So one has to see what one's expectation is.

  361. Here's another secret.

  362. Not a secret, but you can call it a secret.

  363. You can determine your capacity

  364. better

  365. by knowing

  366. what you are called or supposed to do.

  367. Or supposed to do.

  368. That's another small hint.

  369. If you're supposed to be someone who feeds the world,

  370. then you know that your capacity has to be

  371. to feed millions of people.

  372. If you're only supposed to feed a small daycare,

  373. then you know your capacity is much lesser.

  374. Knowing who you are supposed to be

  375. helps you figure out the capacity you must have.

  376. And that also increases.

  377. All that Gideon wanted to do

  378. was just crush some grapes for his family.

  379. That was all the capacity he needed.

  380. All the widow wanted to do

  381. was just have just enough oil to bake one more meal

  382. so that her son and she can die not hungry.

  383. So an idea of who you are really helps

  384. with expanding expectation.

  385. Yeah, that's another secret, but it's not really a secret.

  386. God loves turning up

  387. and inviting you

  388. to increase

  389. your capacity.

  390. So he turns up with Gideon.

  391. He turns up in a teaching.

  392. He turns up in a scripture.

  393. He turns up in a dream.

  394. He turns up in a prophetic word.

  395. God invites you into this.

  396. Why?

  397. Because greater your capacity

  398. is greater the pouring out,

  399. greater the benefit to others.

  400. So rather than get some people in his house

  401. a bottle of wine,

  402. now Gideon is setting a whole nation free.

  403. So knowing what you're about to do

  404. or what you're called to do really helps

  405. because now you know the logistics

  406. of what you need to do.

  407. It's like, I remember the first time I was in college,

  408. I was in a college in the U.S.

  409. It's like, I remember the first time Derek went camping.

  410. He was all gung-ho.

  411. I went to two, three shops

  412. and he was going with Matt and Rachel up a mountain.

  413. He was very excited saying he brought new shoes

  414. that he'd never climbed with,

  415. gear that you'll sweat climbing in.

  416. But he was like one of those poster children for.

  417. And then Matt, Rachel, and Derek are going up this mountain

  418. and Matt and Rachel are hauling a lot of weight

  419. and Derek is hauling a lot of weight.

  420. Why?

  421. Because Derek had about 300 marshmallows

  422. and 72 sausages in his bag

  423. because he thought that's how you go camping.

  424. Acts 29 ate those sausages for three barbecues after that.

  425. So sometimes it's good to know what you are called to

  426. so that you can kind of fix your capacity.

  427. Another time, and these are Derek's stories,

  428. another time we had an outreach

  429. where we invited eight people

  430. and asked Derek to organize a pizza

  431. and he bought eight boxes of pizza.

  432. So it's important to know how much.

  433. That way, once you know what you're called to,

  434. I think jokes are less funny in this building

  435. for whatever reason.

  436. So with a name like Alan Emmett,

  437. you have to come up with really strong jokes

  438. otherwise it doesn't shine.

  439. Anyways, at the end of the day,

  440. one of the coolest definitions of multiplication

  441. is the transference.

  442. Multiplication is the transference

  443. of the life of God

  444. to a people that he favors.

  445. It is his life that causes multiplication.

  446. He transfers his life.

  447. Anything that he touches multiplies.

  448. Anything that he touches springs to life.

  449. And it's the kind of life that is fruitful.

  450. It's not life that's just zoey life as in come alive.

  451. Anything that he touches multiplies.

  452. Somehow, if you can, during the week or at some point,

  453. squeeze a line of prayer saying,

  454. Father, I just am willing to believe this.

  455. Please, can you do this with my life?

  456. And then add an extra line saying,

  457. Father, it does involve money and wealth too,

  458. but I would like to go beyond that.

  459. Don't shy away from it.

  460. That's an area he wants to bless us in

  461. so that we can pour it out to others.

  462. Next one.

  463. Multiplication of fruitfulness is fueled

  464. in the context of an impossible vision, preferably.

  465. Preferably.

  466. As in, can you not just multiply

  467. for the sake of multiplying?

  468. Can you not just want fruitfulness

  469. for the sake of fruitfulness?

  470. Can it be because you're also approaching God saying,

  471. Jesus, we want something impossible?

  472. He loves doing the impossible.

  473. That's when he's at his best.

  474. He's at his best when you ask for something impossible.

  475. And then he begins to change you and then source you.

  476. This is why faith is required for this.

  477. This is why we only ask,

  478. we need to exert very little faith for work, job, salary.

  479. That's where most of our faith currency is spent.

  480. But it has to be much larger than that.

  481. And that is why we need faith to have a really big God dream.

  482. Not our own dreams.

  483. Our own dreams usually fall flat, but a God dream.

  484. It must not just border on the impossible.

  485. It should be so impossible

  486. that you're scared to talk about it to others

  487. because they may laugh.

  488. How do you know an impossible ridiculous dream?

  489. People laugh.

  490. They just walk away thinking.

  491. Yeah, there's a border between delusion and reality.

  492. I think one of the ways is to validate it

  493. with someone you trust.

  494. That's one way because they know you.

  495. Not because they know your failures.

  496. Not because they know how skilled or unskilled you are.

  497. But they know you well enough to know

  498. that they've not always had this.

  499. They know something inside you

  500. that there's always this drive in them in this area.

  501. He may have failed multiple times, but there is this in him.

  502. Those kind of people may be able to validate a delusion

  503. from a real thing.

  504. And all of us have someone like that.

  505. All of us have someone like that.

  506. Sometimes if it's not your spouse,

  507. it'll be a friend or a son or a daughter or a brother.

  508. There's always someone who can validate it.

  509. I mean, you think Zipporah or Aaron

  510. trusted what Moses was saying?

  511. You think Jesus was trusted by Mary and the brothers?

  512. You think Saul was trusted

  513. by any of the apostles in Jerusalem?

  514. Barnabas had to go and get him and introduce him

  515. because no one wanted to touch him.

  516. You think David was trusted by his brothers?

  517. His brothers frowned at him.

  518. You think Joseph was trusted by his family?

  519. They sold him.

  520. But these were all people with vision.

  521. Because an impossible vision is really good substance

  522. for God to fuel with multiplication.

  523. And any vision he constructs

  524. is always to the benefit of others.

  525. It's always to the benefit of others.

  526. The older we are, the wiser we can do this.

  527. The younger ones have a lot of energy,

  528. but very little direction.

  529. They're like Saddam Hussein's missiles.

  530. You shoot them one way, they land in another country.

  531. But when it comes to being older,

  532. the advantage is you have the wisdom

  533. to do things accurately with less effort.

  534. But the danger of being older is we become barzalized,

  535. not able to do things accurately.

  536. The danger of being older is we become barzalized,

  537. not Caleb's.

  538. We let go.

  539. This is not my thing.

  540. And it is possible that some of them will be delusions

  541. and you'll learn the hard way.

  542. But show me a man who did not have a delusion

  543. and made it big.

  544. Take any of these guys who presently run empires,

  545. tech empires, business empires,

  546. and you will find that not one of them

  547. made it there without a mistake.

  548. That Sunday school is noisy.

  549. If you have an impossible vision,

  550. here's what happens, guys, it changes you first.

  551. It changes you.

  552. If you don't have an impossible vision,

  553. there is no need to change.

  554. There's no need to change.

  555. If, for instance, I'm just speaking on Aaron,

  556. if, for instance, Aaron wants to be a great accountant,

  557. that's not a big vision.

  558. He just wants to be a great accountant.

  559. And so, doesn't need much.

  560. But what if Aaron wants to run a sports management company?

  561. Where he manages sports personalities

  562. or concentrates on one particular sport

  563. and begins to manage sports personalities

  564. and minor league teams and stuff like that.

  565. What if he begins to dream like that?

  566. Why am I saying this?

  567. Because there was a prophetic word on his life about it.

  568. That is an impossible, ridiculous dream.

  569. Now, Aaron will have to change

  570. and Renny will have to change before that can happen.

  571. So one of the things with impossible dreams is

  572. it changes you before it can be activated.

  573. Otherwise, we always just run faster, stronger,

  574. or jump higher.

  575. That's not impossible.

  576. And it's a change that happens that triggers multiplication.

  577. It's a change that happens that triggers multiplication.

  578. When you change, it triggers multiplication.

  579. When you change, it triggers fruitfulness or multiplication.

  580. So did Abraham change here?

  581. When he changed, multiplication happened.

  582. Gideon changed, multiplication happened.

  583. Peter changed, was willing.

  584. First, he didn't want Jesus in his boat.

  585. No, no, no, he was willing to be obedient.

  586. Throws the net on the other side.

  587. Willing to change, he's a fisherman.

  588. Multiplication happens.

  589. Next one.

  590. I'll go for another 15 minutes

  591. because we need to be out of here by nine.

  592. Just tell me at 8.15 to stop.

  593. Multiplication presumes humility.

  594. Multiplication presumes humility.

  595. As in God subtracts you,

  596. God subtracts you

  597. before multiplication begins.

  598. For a Joseph here,

  599. God will subtract us as in he'll take away things.

  600. He'll make us willing to give away our privileges.

  601. He may even sometimes take you

  602. through what might seem like a time of

  603. not being able to give away your privileges.

  604. Not niceness or humiliation

  605. because of what others might do.

  606. But he subtracts you so that he can increase you.

  607. You take any of the guys in the Bible who multiply,

  608. they were always subtracted before they increased.

  609. Abraham had his family subtracted,

  610. his country subtracted, his clan subtracted,

  611. his relatives subtracted.

  612. Hagar and Ishmael subtracted,

  613. but then he increases to the son of promise.

  614. There's always a subtraction before an increase.

  615. What's a subtraction about?

  616. It is to bring you to the core of who you are

  617. with nothing else but you and God wrestling

  618. at the Fort of Jabok and now increase happens.

  619. You have contended with God and prevailed.

  620. Now I will bless you.

  621. When you are subtracted, you feel inadequate.

  622. You feel inadequate.

  623. It is the greatest kingdom feeling on earth.

  624. Anytime you feel inadequate,

  625. know that you are powerful in the hands of God.

  626. Anytime you feel inadequate,

  627. know that you are powerful in the hands of God.

  628. And Betty, what were you saying?

  629. Okay, because you're feeling totally inadequate.

  630. Yeah, there's nothing like inadequacy.

  631. It's one of the kingdom's greatest strengths.

  632. As a leader, if you're inadequate,

  633. your people will be blessed.

  634. As a leader, if you think you're highly adequate,

  635. then your people will get the best of you.

  636. And that is so sad.

  637. Joseph was hated without cause,

  638. sold by his brothers for shekels of silver,

  639. stripped of his tunic, mocked,

  640. was accused falsely, was considered dead,

  641. and he comes back to life.

  642. He's a type of Jesus.

  643. But then he's subtracted to a point where now

  644. there's only him and there is God,

  645. and now begins what changes the earth.

  646. And then he's taken to the next level.

  647. He's taken to the next level.

  648. He's taken to the next level.

  649. He's taken to the next level.

  650. Humiliation may hurt, but hurt for a little while,

  651. and then get up.

  652. Because sometimes it is important to be a slave

  653. to step into glory.

  654. Jesus did it, Joseph did it.

  655. Wear it well.

  656. Tony still got jet lag.

  657. Tony still got jet lag.

  658. Don't worry, Tony, you're excused for another three days.

  659. After that, I'll shout euticus.

  660. But don't worry, nobody heard, so it's okay.

  661. Here's another one.

  662. Multiplication is the activity of the Holy Spirit.

  663. What, do these kids respond to each other or something?

  664. Let's take it easy on multiplication.

  665. Sorry, that just, maybe.

  666. Multiplication is the activity of the Holy Spirit.

  667. Multiplication is the activity of the Holy Spirit.

  668. You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.

  669. Guys, here's a simple formula.

  670. Inadequacy,

  671. here's a simple formula.

  672. Inadequacy,

  673. admission,

  674. power,

  675. of the Spirit,

  676. multiplication.

  677. What do you have to set aside during this process?

  678. Feelings.

  679. Very simple.

  680. This is the process.

  681. Inadequacy must, is not enough.

  682. We are all actually bankrupt and inadequate,

  683. only we don't know it.

  684. Inadequacy must then go into the next phase,

  685. which is an admission of it.

  686. That I am actually inadequate and bankrupt.

  687. Once you go to the admission of it,

  688. then the Spirit, power of the Spirit falls,

  689. because now there's a crevasse that has to be filled,

  690. or a depression that has to be filled.

  691. There's room to flow into.

  692. When I'm not willing to admit my inadequacy,

  693. pride seals off the depression.

  694. But when I'm willing to admit my inadequacy,

  695. which I should recognize on a regular basis,

  696. especially when it comes to kingdom activity,

  697. because it's not by might nor by power,

  698. but by the Spirit,

  699. then the power of the Spirit comes in.

  700. And when the power of the Spirit hits anything,

  701. it gives life.

  702. And the transference of life of God always multiplies.

  703. The thing I have to ignore in this equation is what I feel.

  704. Because even when the power of the Spirit

  705. is working through me,

  706. I might still feel inadequate.

  707. I might still feel like I'm not doing a good enough job.

  708. I might still feel like nothing happened.

  709. And yet, what I don't realize is,

  710. what I don't realize is,

  711. I'm just a vessel through whom he is flowing.

  712. He's affecting others.

  713. And he doesn't care too much

  714. whether I'm feeling good or not about it.

  715. So many times, you will lead worship and you'll think,

  716. ah, tasted like sawdust.

  717. But that sawdust was life to somebody else.

  718. All that story I always talk about South Africa.

  719. The lady writes to me saying,

  720. you went up, you sang in a monotone.

  721. I was hoping you would sit down.

  722. You were spoiling good worship.

  723. And it is after that,

  724. that she hears the words.

  725. And she said, as I listened to the words,

  726. I felt God dipping me into a pool of crystal pure water,

  727. pulling me out.

  728. And for the first time in 10 years,

  729. my depression had lifted.

  730. Her name is Cecilia.

  731. And it's been six, four, five years now, still free.

  732. But I literally promised

  733. I would never sing like that again

  734. because God had let me down.

  735. So ignore your feelings at this stage.

  736. This is where we get stuck.

  737. We start feeling, oh, it wasn't good.

  738. Nobody said anything.

  739. Nothing happened.

  740. This is not working out.

  741. Someone else did it better.

  742. I wish I could do it like them.

  743. I wish I could do it like them.

  744. I wish I could do it like them.

  745. That is what pulls you down.

  746. Multiplication varies in speed.

  747. Multiplication varies in speed.

  748. As in, for some, it may happen

  749. in days,

  750. others,

  751. months.

  752. You might say why.

  753. Sometimes the need is immediate.

  754. Sometimes the need is planned over a period of time.

  755. Sometimes a person changes quickly.

  756. Sometimes a person takes longer.

  757. There are different reasons.

  758. We can go over many, many reasons.

  759. But when that happens, don't start comparing.

  760. One person may realize multiplication quickly,

  761. another might not see it fully.

  762. So just be aware of that.

  763. Don't compare.

  764. Don't compare.

  765. You know, I know guys who are

  766. aggressive, arrogant,

  767. ungodly in their speech,

  768. and not nice to people.

  769. Not nice to sometimes their employees.

  770. But the one thing that they seem to flourish in

  771. is great generosity.

  772. The kind of generosity that you and I wouldn't even imagine.

  773. I mean, I'm not saying that they're not nice to people.

  774. You and I wouldn't even imagine.

  775. Giving away not 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%,

  776. talking about 60, 70% being given away.

  777. And God just prospers them.

  778. And you scratch your head thinking, how does this work?

  779. You are living a godly life and nothing is happening.

  780. This person lives a relatively ungodly life,

  781. but they prosper.

  782. We don't know the reasons why.

  783. Sometimes God will allow things to go on,

  784. just because this person's generosity is so widespread

  785. that many benefit.

  786. Comparison is never complete

  787. because you do not know the context.

  788. Paul would say this, you don't know the scars on my back.

  789. Mel Gibson would say that too.

  790. You don't know how many bullet holes I've taken.

  791. Sorry.

  792. It's lethal weapon too, but don't worry about it.

  793. Let me conclude because we have to leave.

  794. One of the things Joseph does guys, is he liberates people.

  795. He lives, here's what Joseph does.

  796. In the year of Joseph, expect this to happen through you.

  797. You will stir up in people a discontent.

  798. And a restlessness.

  799. With their life.

  800. Because when Joseph was born, when Joseph was born,

  801. Jacob got very discontent with continuing

  802. in Laban's land.

  803. So expect that to happen.

  804. When they see your life this year,

  805. people will be discontent.

  806. They'll be restless and saying, hey echo, Fuyo's there.

  807. Everybody, hi Fuyo.

  808. See what happens when you wave Fuyo.

  809. So expect this year that your life, your work,

  810. your life will be discontent.

  811. Expect this year that your life, your words

  812. will make others discontent and restless with their lives.

  813. There'll be a restlessness.

  814. It'll be like, I wish I could break out.

  815. Expect that.

  816. And don't, sometimes pounce on them like a tiger,

  817. sometimes trap them like a spider.

  818. Tiger, spider.

  819. What is on video?

  820. Okay, too bad.

  821. Okay, but know that you will create,

  822. it feels like one of those

  823. swinging panda, silly monkey movies.

  824. Anyways, so this will happen through you.

  825. So be aware of that.

  826. Jacob was content in Laban's land for 14 years

  827. and along comes Joseph and suddenly he says in verse 25,

  828. and it came to pass when Rachel had born Joseph

  829. that Jacob said unto Laban, send me away

  830. that I may go unto my own place and to my country.

  831. Let me go.

  832. That'll happen, eh?

  833. Just be aware of that.

  834. And live your life out so others can get discontent.

  835. Live your life out so others can get discontent.

  836. Show your worship so others can get discontent.

  837. Exert faith so that others can get discontent.

  838. Speak of your father so others can get discontent.

  839. Talk about the Christ that you serve

  840. so others can get discontent.

  841. Talk about your expectations,

  842. what you expect so others can get discontent.

  843. Show them the things that God is making new in your life

  844. so that others can get discontent.

  845. Never forget that he has come to make all things new.

  846. Show them so that that song may come to pass.

  847. I can feel your goodness, I can feel your grace,

  848. I receive your mercy, I receive your grace.

  849. I delight myself at your table of God.

  850. You do all things well.

  851. Just look at my life.

  852. I assure you guys that there is not a single life here

  853. that does not have something to show for what God has done.

  854. Take that and show them.

  855. There might be 20 really sucky areas in your life,

  856. but I assure you for every 20 areas,

  857. there are five good areas.

  858. Show them that and hide the rest for now.

  859. For now.

  860. Last point, Joseph removes reproach.

  861. This year, expect that through your life

  862. to remove

  863. or take away

  864. shame or disgrace

  865. from the lives of people.

  866. Doesn't matter whether they are Christians

  867. or non-Christians, I assure you this will happen.

  868. Expect through your life to remove or take away shame

  869. or disgrace from the lives of people.

  870. Shame or disgrace.

  871. And having said that, expect

  872. the same for yourself.

  873. Expect shame and disgrace

  874. or reproach.

  875. That's another word that covers it.

  876. In your life,

  877. to be rolled away.

  878. What is it that you feel ashamed about?

  879. Is it a physical condition?

  880. Is it a spiritual condition?

  881. Is it a mindset condition?

  882. Is it a financial condition?

  883. What is it?

  884. Hallelujah, year of Joseph.

  885. It is the year of rolling away of reproaches

  886. in our own lives.

  887. Conditions of shame, conditions of disgrace,

  888. conditions of reproach being rolled away from our lives.

  889. And then our lives being used to set others free too.

  890. This is the year of Joseph.

  891. This is how it works.

  892. Before Israel entered the promised land,

  893. they stopped at a place called Gilgal

  894. where they were circumcised.

  895. And the reason they call that place Gilgal

  896. was God saying, listen, I roll away the reproach

  897. of 400 years of slavery today.

  898. And I have you cross over.

  899. Every day from today on till the 13th of August, 2024,

  900. may reproaches shed like molting skin from us church.

  901. And then while that is happening, not after it happens,

  902. while that is happening, be assured

  903. that when you speak to people,

  904. their condition of shame or disgrace will be exposed

  905. in a way that is so gentle

  906. that you'll be able to take it away from them.

  907. For some you'll use a chisel,

  908. for others it'll be just a scalpel

  909. or for some others balm, but it will go.

  910. God gives these years for the benefit of others.

  911. That's why he does this.

  912. Yeah.

  913. This is the one-off teaching that I thought we'll do

  914. so that you know where you're going and what we expect.

  915. Let me just pray.

  916. Father, we thank you for the year of Joseph.

  917. Father.

  918. On behalf of us as a people,

  919. I voice our gratitude to you saying thank you

  920. for making us fruitful over the next 12 months.

  921. It'll be fruitfulness in money, at work, in our lives,

  922. just like Deuteronomy 28 said,

  923. in the city, in the country,

  924. in our bread, in our crops, in our work,

  925. in the work of our hands, in our families,

  926. with our children, fruitfulness.

  927. The second thing, Father, I thank you for

  928. is that you will use us to cause a discontent,

  929. to stir up discontent and restlessness

  930. in people who'll say, can I have this too?

  931. But we ask, Holy Spirit, that you remind us of this.

  932. And thirdly, oh God, you'll do something

  933. that we love doing, taking away the shame and disgrace

  934. and the reproach that is upon people

  935. and conferring worth on them through us.

  936. And while you're doing that, you'll strip me of my shame,

  937. my disgrace, my condition of reproach,

  938. which is basically a mindset that is so deeply ingrained

  939. that it triggers the same response.

  940. Take it away from me too, Jesus.

  941. This is the year you're giving us.

  942. You're inviting us in, come, can I do this for you?

  943. And we as a church said, please, Jesus, this would be awesome.

  944. May this church be fruitful, may this church prosper.

  945. In body, in soul, in spirit, in money,

  946. in fruitfulness, spiritually, relationally, financially,

  947. increase in our numbers, in every which way, oh God,

  948. we desire this, granted spirit, oh God,

  949. we don't need to beg for this.

  950. It's an invitation, so we step into it, Jesus, we thank you.

  951. Father, and as we go, we just pray that as prashant

  952. and yet you go that your hand of protection

  953. will be upon them as they travel.

  954. There'll be a time of strengthening for them,

  955. time of strengthening relationally and spiritually,

  956. so we bless them as they go now.

  957. We thank you for this place you've given us for two months.

  958. We as a church are particularly grateful

  959. for the sound guys, for Evan, for Brandon,

  960. what Evan is doing in this regard, Lord.

  961. It's a huge thing that we open our eyes and recognize.

  962. So we bless him, Father, bless him, Father.

  963. May these two months be so fruitful
