  1. All right. So Evan and Betty are going to come up and share a story first.

  2. Hey guys. So they're going to ask us to share just a little bit about what's going on in

  3. Belfast and share a couple stories there. So for those of you who may or may not know,

  4. we went there in February and since then we've been trying to meet them as a group on Zoom every

  5. two weeks or so. So like every Sunday morning or every second Sunday morning, we meet this group

  6. students on Zoom. And then since they're done there, they're all university students,

  7. since they're done university, they're all mostly gone back home, Asia, wherever they're from. And

  8. so we've been trying to meet them like not one on one, I guess, two on one, just to encourage

  9. them and talk to them and see where they're at. So we've been doing this for a few months now.

  10. And it's been really cool. We had a couple pretty cool incidents happen. So this one guy,

  11. he was telling us like, we've been just encouraging him, you know, talk to God. This is who God thinks

  12. of you, etc. So, yeah, so.

  13. You want to start with that?

  14. So so I just want to give you some context about this person that Evan is talking about. So this

  15. person grew up in the church, and he's very active in the church. And so he's part of the prayer

  16. team, he's part of the welcome team. And yet, in his experience with the church, he felt like there

  17. was something lacking. And so when we were meeting up with him, he had all these questions about

  18. what it's like to be with a God that's living and real. And when he heard our stories, when he

  19. realizes that our God desires this deep and real intimate relationship with us, he began to quicken

  20. Because when we first met him, we felt like he was quite unresponsive. Perhaps in his mind, he was

  21. thinking, oh, this is just another Bible study. Oh, this is just another thing to do. But when he

  22. realized that, that God is someone who's so personal and real, we can tell in the way he

  23. presents himself, the way he asks questions that he something was ignited in him. And he is now on

  24. this journey where he is pursuing this living God. And he's changed by the reality of who God can be

  25. and who God is right now in his life. Yeah, so one day, say, after his one of his exams, his final

  26. exams, he said, Yeah, I didn't really know what to do. I kind of felt lost. So I thought, okay,

  27. I want to do it. I have an embedding of an encouragement to do and I was praying, you know,

  28. God, what, what do I, what do I say? Right? So he prayed and, and he said, God made him felt found,

  29. made him feel found. And

  30. that's

  31. exciting. There are two people speaking to someone who is on the other side of the world.

  32. And how do you see, I feel like I'm found by God.

  33. Yeah, so this was pretty incredible because he didn't know, like, mostly for guys, it's pretty

  34. hard to describe their emotions, right? So it was so incredible that God met him exactly where he

  35. was at. Right? This is what exactly we've been telling them, God will meet you where you at,

  36. wherever you are, God will do it. So that was pretty incredible for him to say that. And like,

  37. since then, he, he joined so regularly. He's, you can see there's an excitement in his eyes.

  38. He's asked questions. He reads the scriptures we give him. And, and yeah, so that God met him and

  39. he's like, Kate, there's something to this. So that was pretty incredible. Yeah. And then we had,

  40. so another one of the guys that joins, do context. Okay. So I'll do the context for this one as well.

  41. So this student, he came from a more charismatic background. So he has experience with like,

  42. healings and tongues and deliverance. But what we noticed about him, he does have a desire for God.

  43. Like, he knows that there's a real God out there. But what he didn't experience or what he hasn't,

  44. or he he's, yeah, what he has not experienced then is the fatherhood of God. He doesn't know that God

  45. is a real loving parent to him. And so what both of them have in common is that they learned how to

  46. be good for God, but they don't know how to be a child of God. And so as we met them, we realized,

  47. hey, there's a deep need here to be known as a child. And so

  48. as we were talking with him and doing Bible study with him, he had also lots of questions.

  49. He also wants to know, what is it like to be with a God? And I said before, like who is powerful and

  50. is present. What is it like to be a child of an almighty God who can show up in miraculous ways?

  51. Yeah, so he told us, this was maybe two, three weeks ago. He's like, since maybe March or so,

  52. he's been waking up, like almost every morning with music in his head. And he didn't really know

  53. what to what to make of this. So he asked us, he's like, is that weird? And he said, yeah,

  54. I think it's a miracle. And he said, I think it's a miracle. And he said, I think it's a miracle.

  55. Is that weird? And so we, and me and him have been texting about music, like share me music,

  56. and I'll show you music back and forth. Right. And then so he tells us, I have music in my head,

  57. like what do I make of that? And we said, that is from God. And since then, he has had this desire

  58. to make music, produce music, whatever it may be. Right. Even before the music in his head,

  59. he had always had a desire for music. That's what he likes to do for fun.

  60. And when God is starting to place the music in his head, it's like God saying, I created in you

  61. a dream to love music and to produce music. And I want to make this dream come true with you.

  62. And so he's like, these incredible beats, then these sounds, like I keep, what is it? And we,

  63. we both believe like, this is God, your father, knowing you as like,

  64. as his child and wanting to honor you and your dreams. So do you want? Yeah. Oh,

  65. I was gonna say that.

  66. It was pretty incredibly, his description of the first or one of the things he heard was like,

  67. that's like the most incredible song I've ever heard. I've never heard any artists make that.

  68. And he's listened to a plethora of music. That was the most incredible thing. So clearly that was

  69. from God. So to see both of these university students meet God in such a personal way,

  70. both very different, both very personal, has been really incredible. You can see like the light bulb

  71. go on in their, in their spirits, right? This is what God is doing. I want to run after this God.

  72. Yeah. Thank you guys for sharing. Rami, do you want to come up play? I mean sing.

  73. Sure. Yeah, go for it.

  74. All right. So we're going to sing God of revival.

  75. And we know this is a song that we hear in this church. We know the song. The song has been part

  76. of our worship for many, many years. But we felt today that God wanted to sing this song in a

  77. different way. And to add to what Betty and Evan just shared, we feel that the spirit of God is

  78. reminding us that what he has prophesied over this house in terms of Hebrides 2.0

  79. and a global revival starting through our church is something that he wants, he wants us to ponder

  80. upon it again. And there are a couple of scriptures that we want to share. One is Revelations 1910.

  81. If you read the later part, it says that for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

  82. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. And this is the angel telling John

  83. to write down things. And then he's the angel is saying to John that the testimony of Jesus

  84. is the spirit of prophecy. And then in 2nd Peter 1 21, Peter writes that for prophecy never came

  85. by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. So we believe

  86. that Hebrides 2.0 is from the Holy Spirit. And we're beginning to see the evidences of it. So as

  87. we sing the song, can we do two things? One, can we be in agreement with the Holy Spirit that yes,

  88. we believe this is from you and it will, it is coming to pass. And two, that we are a people

  89. pursuing the Father's heart. And what is the Father's heart?

  90. The Father's heart is to make all the things new.

  91. We've seen what you can do. Oh, God, oh, one, power has no end.

  92. And things you've done before in gray, the manager, you will do again.

  93. There's no prison wall you can break through. No mountain you can move. All things are possible.

  94. There's nobody that you can't raise. No soul that you can save. All things are possible.

  95. The darkest night you can light it up. You can light it up. Oh, God of revival,

  96. let hope arise. Death is overcome. You already won. Oh, God of revival.

  97. You rose in victory and now you're seated forever on the throne.

  98. So why should my heart fear what you've defeated? I will trust in you alone.

  99. Because there's no prison wall you can break through. No mountain you can move. All things

  100. are possible. There's no broken body you can raise. No soul that you can save. All things are possible.

  101. Oh, God of revival, let hope arise. Death is overcome. You already won. Oh, God of revival.

  102. Light it up. Oh, you can light it up. Oh, God of revival.

  103. Death is overcome. Oh, God of revival.

  104. Come awaken your people. Come awaken your city. Oh, God of revival, pour it out, pour it out.

  105. Every stronghold will crumble. I hear the chains hit the ground. Oh, God of revival, pour it out, pour it out.

  106. Come awaken your people. Come awaken your city. Oh, God of revival, pour it out, pour it out.

  107. Every stronghold will crumble. I hear the chains hit the ground. Oh, God of revival, pour it out,

  108. pour it out. Come awaken your people. Oh, come awaken your city. Oh, God of revival, pour it out,

  109. pour it out. Every stronghold will crumble. I hear the chains hit the ground. Oh, God of revival,

  110. pour it out, pour it out.

  111. The darkest night, you can light it up. Oh, you can light it up. Oh, God of revival,

  112. and let hope arise. Death is overcome. As you already won. Oh, God of revival.

  113. God of revival.

  114. We believe, we believe that revival is here in our midst. Revival is here in our midst.

  115. We believe, we believe that your spirit is gonna fall on your sons and daughters. Calling

  116. sons and daughters, sons and daughters. That's who you are.

  117. And let's keep expecting. Thank you, guys.

  118. I thought I was using my phone, but I was using Tuni's phone, and I saw things like,

  119. money sent to someone. I'm like, seriously? It all makes sense now. Thank you,

  120. too. Thank you, Remy. Okay, let's, I want to read something first.

  121. This is a word that was given over Acts 29, I think a few years ago. We have read it a couple

  122. of times. I want to read that again. See, when we hear Evan and Betty share stories

  123. of what's happening in another country, I think one of them in Indonesia and the other kid

  124. somewhere in Ireland or something, both of them study in Ireland, but they're from different parts

  125. of the world. When we hear these things happening, I mean, this is what we are hoping and praying

  126. for. This is real lives being transformed because God is at work in the lives of

  127. 10s, 20s, 30s. We started talking about this three and a half years ago or so,

  128. and God is not going to stop. This will be accomplished with or without us. Let's be in it.

  129. So this will be accomplished because if God says he'll do it, he'll do it. He has a plan for the

  130. earth and what he wants to accomplish will be accomplished. So my desire and our desire must be,

  131. Aba, we want to be in it full. Yeah. So I want to read this word because it's a good reminder.

  132. And I just got, I had no plans to read it. I just got reminded about this earlier today. I think

  133. there's some sort of echo if you can look into that. There are fatherless multitudes, orphans in

  134. the spirit waiting to find a spiritual father. In this house, there will be a reconciliation of

  135. wandering Christians who will come back to the father's house. There are fatherless churches

  136. that you will become, and this was spoken over Jacob, that you will become the spiritual father

  137. over, not just in Vancouver, but right around the world. And then I'm going to skip over a few things

  138. and I'm going to read this now. Gifts, ministries, anointings are about to spring forth

  139. in this church and in these people represented and listening online.

  140. Young men and young women, bishops, strong apostolic ministries, strong teachers

  141. will be going out from your company and they will reproduce this anointing.

  142. I'll read the last two lines again. And as I speak this, see where you fit in, because this is a word

  143. that's been spoken over this family by God years ago. Some of us, I wasn't there when this word was

  144. spoken. Some of us were added to this family years later, but when God speaks, He knows that we are

  145. going to be added and then He speaks from that place. So see where you fit in. Gifts, ministries,

  146. anointings are about to spring forth in this church and in these people represented and listening

  147. online. Young men and young women, bishops, strong apostolic ministries, strong teachers

  148. will be going out from your company and they will reproduce this anointing.

  149. Every time I read or listen to Hebrides 2.0 or what's happening with

  150. the students in Ireland or what's happening in some other place where we're working.

  151. And sometimes stories where Acts 29 has nothing to do with it, but it's something that the Lord is

  152. doing somewhere. It excites me. Because here is a world, there is a song that we sing,

  153. are the shadows deepening? Yes, they are. But there is a light that pierces through the darkness

  154. and changes everything. And the Father is looking for people who are aligning their lives

  155. with these promises. One of the things that I want to talk about today, it's already 5.45.

  156. And I want to for one stop at 6.15. So I'm not going to teach today. I'll just talk a few things

  157. that's on my heart and we'll wrap it up at 6.15. It's only because of the songs and

  158. it's only because of the songs and Betty and Evan took five extra minutes than what was given to

  159. them. Just kidding. So I want to talk from my heart. I want to talk about something that

  160. that the Lord has been speaking to me over the last few weeks.

  161. And this is about the posture that we are supposed to have as Kingdom men and women.

  162. There is a posture, a certain way of living that is expected of Kingdom men, Kingdom women.

  163. And heaven is looking for people like that, who are aligning themselves

  164. always with what heaven is speaking and are being readied or being prepared for what is to come.

  165. Noah was like that. Heaven said there is rain coming and he began to change, shift, move so that

  166. his life, his family's life was aligned with what heaven was speaking, even though those around him

  167. did not believe him. Those around him said rain, it's not going to happen. Heaven is always looking

  168. for people like that. People who are ready and people who are willing to shift and change

  169. because they just get excited by the tune of heaven. It doesn't matter what's happening

  170. around you. It doesn't matter what people are speaking. Things are shifting.

  171. One of the stories I want to start with is when we started walking around in Wally, it was 2020

  172. when we started. We would in the initial days particularly walk the streets, drive around

  173. and we would ask that the crime in Wally would reduce. We would ask that justice will flow

  174. in the streets of Wally. You guys know this. The crime capital of BC is Surrey.

  175. Everyone knew what was supposed to happen in Surrey, that the crime will increase, things are going

  176. to be pretty bad. It's just not going to improve. You hear it, you read it. It was everywhere.

  177. So we've been there now for about three and a half years, four years almost.

  178. And a few days earlier, I just felt a prompting in my spirit that I should look up what's happening

  179. now. And I looked it up and to my surprise, but not to my surprise, in 2023 when the stats were

  180. released, crime in Surrey has gone down, which includes Wally. It has gone down when they did

  181. not expect it to go down. Arson has gone down and I think the number was about 14% or something.

  182. So not a small drop just so that they can report on something, but a significant drop that affects

  183. people's lives. This is what God is about everywhere. Either we are with him in it or he'll

  184. find someone to do it because he ain't changing. He has a plan. He's making everything new.

  185. And we have this absolute privilege to walk with him, to run with him, to be partners with him.

  186. And there are two things that have increased in Surrey. One is trafficking and the other is

  187. kidnapping. Those two things have increased, but guess what? God will change it too.

  188. See, there's a, and I'm not saying that this is because we prayed.

  189. I'm saying that God does it with or without us. And then when we can participate with him,

  190. life becomes so much adventurous. Our lives become more than what we are about. There are

  191. several churches in Wally, in Surrey who've been praying for this, several of them. God hears.

  192. God hears. God uses a ready people who are prepared to change their ways of living, change

  193. their thinking to align with what he has. Yeah. So a couple of things today. I've titled this

  194. message, Sandals and Crowns, but we won't get to the crowns part today for sure. So we'll touch on

  195. sandals. The idea being, what is the posture expected of a kingdom man or a kingdom woman?

  196. Now here's the other thing. A good litmus test of where we are at in life with respect to the

  197. kingdom is to evaluate or to ask yourself, how many times a day are you reminded of the fact that

  198. you're not from this world, that you're from another world sent into this world to change

  199. this world? John chapter 17, they're not of this world, but I have sent them to the kingdom of

    John 17 chapter mention

  200. God, but I have sent them into this world. A good litmus test is to ask ourselves,

  201. how often do we remind ourselves? Because everything around us is competing for our

  202. attention and trying to make us believe that we are in this or we are from this world and we are

  203. in this world and that that's where things start and end. But there is a greater word,

  204. a greater truth that Xavier, you're not from this world. I have sent you into this world

  205. and you're a kingdom man, you're a kingdom woman, which means that here in Babylon, things operate

  206. a certain way. There is the law of sin and death, but for you, there is a different principle.

  207. For you, you don't operate by the law of sin and death, you operate by the law of the Spirit,

  208. who gives life and life in abundance.

  209. See, Moses in Exodus chapter 3, he was born in the palace, raised in the palace,

    Exodus 3 chapter mention

  210. born a Hebrew boy, raised up as an Egyptian. If you read Exodus chapter 2, you'll see

    Exodus 2 chapter mention

  211. when the daughters of Jethro saw him, they reported him as an Egyptian back to their father.

  212. They didn't report him as a Hebrew boy or a Hebrew man, they reported him as an Egyptian man.

  213. He grew up in the palace. A few things about this man, we all know this, he was wandering for 40

  214. years. A life where he knew he made mistakes, a life where he knew that he was never going to

  215. see his people again, a life where he knew that things are different from what he ever hoped would

  216. happen. See, you see more about Moses in the New Testament in terms of where he was at

  217. during his time in Egypt and after he came out, you hear more and read more about Moses in the

  218. New Testament than what is actually written in the Old Testament. And so in light of what's written

  219. in the New Testament, you see this man and you begin to realize that, wow, he was a guy who

  220. did not know where his life was about to go.

  221. He was probably depressed, walking around with sheep for 40 years after having been

  222. raised up in the palace. See, his parents used to tell him that he's a special boy.

  223. They knew him, but nothing in his immediate surroundings said that

  224. it was going to be like he thought it would be. He was a man of justice

  225. because when the Egyptian and the Israelite fought, he stood with justice. And then when the

  226. Israelite and another Israelite fought, he stood with justice again. And when you see,

  227. you know, there is a theme happening. And when you see the daughters of Jethro being,

  228. there are other shepherds that are trying to send them away, he stands up for them and says, no.

  229. So there are certain things in his heart that never changed, but his immediate surrounding said,

  230. no, you're never going to go back. It's impossible. And he knew that he ran away

  231. in fear, in shame. He was afraid to go back. But he also knew that the God of Israelites,

  232. the God of his fathers wanted to rescue the people of Israel out. He knew that.

  233. But where he was going, he did not know. In the sandals in Exodus chapter three,

  234. we see God in the encounter story. So let's read that. Exodus chapter three, I want to read a few verses.

  235. Exodus chapter three. Now Moses was keeping the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of

  236. Midian. And he led his flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of

  237. God. And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked

  238. and behold, the bush was burning. Yet it was not consumed. And Moses said, I will turn aside

  239. to see this great sight, why the bush is not burned. When the Lord saw that he turned aside to see,

  240. God called him out of the bush, Moses, Moses. And he said, here I am.

  241. So what was happening in Egypt is there is a kingdom, an evil kingdom trying to oppress a people.

  242. And all of the might of the Egyptian army and the oppressive nature of Pharaoh was meant to do just one

  243. thing, keep a people as a slave people. That's all it wanted to do. Keep these people as slaves.

  244. There is a reason why, and we know this, there is a reason why the sons of the Israelites were asked

  245. or commanded to be killed, because there was a promise given in Genesis that out of the woman

  246. will come the seed and that the seed will crush the serpent's head. And so all evil powers tried

  247. to stop that, tried to stop the going out or the release of a people. That is exactly what's happening

  248. in our world today.

  249. Principalities, powers, spiritual darkness, wickedness, they all have one aim, to keep a people as slaves.

  250. And as long as Moses can be kept away from it, the plan is good,

  251. because the people can't be redeemed. Moses is the one earmarked

  252. to bring a people out. And as long as Moses is kept away from the people, as long as he is kept

  253. away from his promise, as long as he is kept away from his purpose, the people will remain as slaves.

  254. And I want you to look at this with the word that I read earlier on about Acts 29, what we heard from

  255. Evan and Betty about Hebrews 2.0, we have to begin to see ourselves in the narrative,

  256. where God is looking for a man, God is looking for a woman who will see what is happening in the

  257. kingdom of darkness and will recognize that here he is and here she is, filled with the spirit of God,

  258. purposeful and now having been sent out, God is saying go bring them out. Isaiah chapter 61,

    Isaiah 61 chapter mention

  259. for the spirit of the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor, to set the captives free.

  260. The more we think of it, the more we'll become like this, because this is the father's desire of us.

  261. As I said today, I'm not going to teach more than half of what I had on my notes,

  262. I don't have the time to do that, but I want us to know that there is a greater yearning

  263. from heaven over us to become the people that he wants us to become.

  264. The sandals that Moses was wearing, when God says remove it,

  265. see sometimes when we read that we think God is a holy God and God doesn't want

  266. unholy Moses to come near him. The only reason God said hey hey don't come close is this,

  267. Moses's body would not be able to take it, because his earthly body would not be able to stand

  268. the glory of God. When God said remove the sandals, there is a deeper meaning and this is where

  269. I've been spending some time over the last little while as the Lord was speaking

  270. about why, why did he say remove the sandals. There's got to be a more deeper meaning than

  271. it's a holy place and yes it is a holy place, but why? See Moses was in a pretty bad state.

  272. The name of the when his when his son was born, I think he named him Gershon

  273. and the reason for that name is because Moses said I am a man living in a foreign land.

  274. When a son is born for a man to name his son, I am, I am sojourning in a foreign land, tells a lot about him.

  275. The sandals that Moses wore

  276. was different because it carried the weight of 40 years of wandering.

  277. It carried the weight of 40 years of wandering.

  278. Those sandals were different

  279. because those sandals bore the weight of doubt.

  280. It was difficult.

  281. Those sandals were difficult because they were not easy to carry.

  282. They were different because it was tearing apart because of fear that kept him away from Egypt.

  283. If he could, he would go back, but he couldn't because he was afraid.

  284. Those are the sandals that he was using

  285. and God says remove it. So the removal of the sandals is not just hey it's a holy place,

  286. I need you to remove it. It goes far beyond that.

  287. And for you and I, one of the things that Jacob said even in the last message is God, what is the

  288. the thing that you believe God is asking you to do which is absolutely impossible for you to do in

  289. your in your own strength, in your own might. You ask Moses that question, Moses would tell you

  290. I would love to go back and bring my people out.

  291. But the very encounter bridged the gap between the man and the mission.

  292. The man always had a mission, but one encounter with the father

  293. bridged the gap between the man and the mission.

  294. And one of my desires is that there is no one and is that all of us know that we are

  295. kingdom men and women meant for specific purposes because my father doesn't

  296. he doesn't create sons and daughters and say these three are special so I'm going to use them here.

  297. These five are not special enough so I don't really have much for them. They'll just live

  298. their lives and die. That's not my father, that's not your father. We all have spiritual inheritance

  299. in him that he wants to release to us that can be used for ourselves but also

  300. beyond us for the sake of the world around us.

  301. And the more I begin to understand that my life is so not about me

  302. that this life is way beyond Vancouver, that this life is way beyond my family,

  303. that this life is way beyond my limitations, that this life is way beyond what I was taught

  304. and that I knew that this life is way beyond everything that tries to speak another word.

  305. And as I begin to believe the call of God on my life, as I begin to say yes and amen to the voice

  306. of heaven, as I begin to align my life with the realities of the scripture, now I begin to move

  307. from a place of wandering, I begin to move from a place of doubt, I begin to move from a place of

  308. grief, I begin to move from a place of not knowing to a place of shame, to a place of

  309. to a place of sure promise, to a place where I'm confident, to a place where I am bold,

  310. to a place where I know that my father is here, that him plus I is the majority and that I don't

  311. need another man, I don't need another woman but he has given me a people to be with me and that

  312. with him there are things that are possible, with him I can do more than I thought I could ever do.

  313. He is trying his very best to make me think this way every day, every morning, every night.

  314. This is the truth. This is what he is trying. He is trying, he is crying, he is

  315. laughing, he is doing whatever he possibly can to help me understand, Derek you're not limited.

  316. Moses you're not limited. Who told you that you're limited? My spirit is inside of you.

  317. He is limitless. Since when did I expect you to look at what's happening around you and limit

  318. your life to what you see and hear? Did I not give you my spirit so that you can dream the

  319. dreams of the father, the very same spirit who searches the deep mind of Christ

  320. and then reveals to you what is to come, then reveals to you who you are so that you can walk

  321. with me, run with me, go places with me?

  322. I will repeat what I said. My father does not create children and then group them into five

  323. different buckets and say these three are special so they'll do that and these seven are not so

  324. they're limited. My father creates sons and daughters so that they can take on the world.

  325. My father creates sons and daughters and the very promise he said in the garden is upon them. Go

  326. forth multiply and subdue everything. The more I begin to think like that I begin to develop a

  327. posture that aligns with how I need to be as a kingdom man, as a kingdom woman. That's where I

  328. should be. It changes things. Absolutely changes things.

  329. Can you bring up the picture Sere? Actually don't bring it up just yet. A few days ago I was

  330. thinking about the reason I'm sharing the story is because just to give you an example of how

  331. God opens doors. As you begin to think that your life is beyond your limitations, that your life

  332. is beyond what you can see, he begins to open doors. He begins to help you understand that hey

  333. man your life is meant for something more than you ever thought it is. Don't bring it up yet.

  334. I was at a park a few days ago, usually the park where I scored a lot of goals on Saturday mornings,

  335. same park. Anyway I was there and I was walking around talking to God and that day

  336. I was thinking about angels. Truth be told I don't think about angels much. I'm not

  337. one of those people who think about or read about angels but that day I was thinking about angels

  338. and the Lord was talking to me about how angels are ministers of fire it says

  339. and how God uses angels to guide. So I say I'm walking and I'm talking, the Lord says you see

  340. that tree and as he said see the tree the wind blows and the tree just goes crazy.

  341. And I'm like yes I do see that tree. He said walk to the tree. So I begin to walk to the tree,

  342. there are two trees in that area. I begin to walk to the tree, small one and I know in my spirit

  343. that this is what I've been thinking about, this is what he's been speaking to me that he sends even

  344. angels sometimes as winds to help guide. I'm very scriptural you can go, it's somewhere in Hebrew so

  345. you can go look it up later.

  346. And so I knew in my spirit that hey this is he's saying I've been talking to you about this

  347. what did you think that I just talk about it help me show you what I mean. So I start walking to the

  348. tree. I knew for a fact that there's something about this tree or something there that I had to see

  349. and so I walk and this is what I find.

  350. There is a map a keychain with a particular country's flag on it and I did not know this

  351. country. It appears to be if you can zoom in it's the flag for Kurdistan.

  352. Kurdistan is not a country that I am aware of. I had to look it up when I flipped it it actually

  353. was written Kurdistan and then I started to do some research on Kurdistan only to find that

  354. it's the northern part of Iraq and Kurds are very different in in terms of all of the stuff we hear

  355. in the news. Of course the media has said a lot about what's happening in Iraq but that northern

  356. part of Iraq is different because there are a lot of Assyrians there and a lot of Christians

  357. who face persecution quite a bit. Why am I sharing the story? Derrick has nothing to do with Kurdistan.

  358. Derrick has nothing to do with that country in his mind but as the Lord says you do it you find it

  359. you see it now my heart begins to beat differently. Now the next step is what about Kurdistan?

  360. Do you want me to go to Kurdistan? Do you want me to connect with the church in Kurdistan?

  361. Do you want me to meet Kurds in Vancouver? Do you want me to go for a two-day trip see what's

  362. happening come back? All those questions that he now has to answer but it's a door

  363. open so that I can enter in and explore and find out more. There are other stories that we have

  364. heard in different people's lives. A very similar thing happened to me about Syria about five six

  365. years ago and Heidi will remember what we did for a church in Syria after that happened. Why am I

  366. sharing this? Only one thing. My life and your life is way beyond what we see in the natural

  367. world and when we begin to adjust our steps I've seen this happen over and over again.

  368. He begins to release things that you never thought was yours but somehow the father just

  369. loves working with his children and he invites you in. So when Moses encountered God in Exodus

    Exodus 3 chapter mention

  370. chapter 3 it was not a take your sandals off was not a hey can't come close to me anymore I'm too

  371. holy yes he is holy and you're not it was more so hey you have no idea what I have for you.

  372. I need you to remove these sandals because the ground is holy but I need you to also know even

  373. though you don't know it yet you're going to even get to a place in life where you will pitch a tent

  374. of meeting so you can come meet with me. Moses you think you're going to be afraid Moses you think

  375. this is a one-time thing it's not it's a relationship that I am starting from today and from here on I'm

  376. going to take you on a different journey that will rewrite the course of history and the lives of

  377. many people. This is why I said I don't want to teach today what's the time 6 14.

  378. So can we begin to increasingly think like this because the truth is

  379. it's not that we don't think like this we don't think like this often enough

  380. and that's what needs to change. Can you think of it every day like this? Can you wake up and

  381. recognize that you are a kingdom man that you are a kingdom woman?

  382. Remember our father doesn't have five kids who are special with whom he does 50 different adventurous

  383. things and the rest that he says ah no this father is different man and the more you and I recognize

  384. that man his heart leaps when I say yes his heart leaps when I say I'm ready when his heart leaps

  385. when I say I'm running with you and then he takes you on a journey he puts people around you who'll

  386. run with you he gives you a family he gives you a purpose he changes your destiny for good forever.

  387. So can you and I remove the sandals every day because God says I want to I want you I don't

  388. want you to go back to Pharaoh's palace the same way because you need to be equipped to be sent

  389. back. The last 40 years you didn't know this Moses but I took Egypt out of you.

  390. I took Egypt out of you

  391. and this presence is the presence that will equip you that will change you

  392. that will do things inside your being that you can't even verbalize.

  393. Deep-seated fears being replaced anxiety and depression gone.

  394. That's what this presence presence does it equips you it equips me so that I'm prepared so that you're

  395. prepared for what is to come. It's an equipping presence

  396. it's an equipping presence

  397. which is why in this kingdom

  398. we are never meant to be on the sidelines we are meant to be on the front lines

  399. but sometimes we are on the sidelines

  400. and that's why there is an equipping presence a presence that equips you to bridge the gap

  401. between the man and the mission the woman and the mission so that you can be a different person

  402. as days go on and then those around you will recognize it they'll see it that's when you know

  403. that the change is real. You begin to talk about things that that your

  404. limited vocabulary it doesn't contain those words but then God puts different words into your

  405. vocabulary words that your parents may say what's going on with you words that your siblings may

  406. say that's kind of different than I thought but God gives you a completely different vocabulary

  407. that matches with the tune of heaven that you can now use to bring the change to your life

  408. you can now use to bring a people out

  409. which is why mark chapter 16 I said six fifteen so maybe five more minutes and we'll wrap up

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  410. which is why mark chapter 16 when Jesus gave the commission to the disciples and he says you'll go

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  411. and you'll do these things we heard about it last week these are for each and every one of us

  412. the commission is not for a few people it is for every single one of us

  413. so can we have a posture on a daily basis that of a kingdom man that of a kingdom woman the thing is

  414. as I become a kingdom man or a kingdom woman I begin to lose interest in civilian pursuits

  415. I begin to lose interest in civilian pursuits

  416. my eyes begin to see things that I did not see before and then my being and everything that I am

  417. it becomes way more affectionate about those things that the father begins to show

  418. so you should see a distinct difference between where you were at what the passions of your hearts

  419. were and then where you're going and the new passions of your heart it should be tangible

  420. the same things that excited you even good things they don't excite you anymore

  421. they don't excite you anymore because you know in your heart aha I don't belong to this kingdom

  422. I belong to a different king you know what happens when we begin to think like that

  423. and and God begins to work in us you know what happens we can step right outside this building

  424. past the street or across the street and it is not christianese anymore and we don't have a song

  425. being sung anymore and we don't have christian friends with christian words with us anymore

  426. and now there is a man or a woman who needs help and Jesus can do something through you

  427. because you actually believe that he can

  428. one of the things that happened with Moses is that from that point on he knew

  429. God's heart for the people of Israel one of the things he desires of me and you

  430. is to know his heart for the people outside this building

  431. can you see his heart because then it's easy to align when you see a man who is wounded

  432. or when you see a man who is burdened or oppressed you know that in your physical strength you will

  433. do anything you can't fight Pharaoh and the army with your physical might

  434. they're too big but how is it that a 600 000 plus people 600 000 men so let's say

  435. one million something people left a country without using weapons left a nation that tried

  436. to keep them down without using weapons where have you heard that

  437. so our weapons are not of this world

  438. so then when we are out there he begins to equip you and I so that we can deal with situations

  439. differently will not mean that we will have answers to all questions will not mean that

  440. we'll just know exactly what to do every time it's a process where he says son take the next step

  441. let me show it to you and you learn something and you learn a little bit more and you learn a little

  442. bit more and you learn a little bit more and then you begin to realize wow wow I understand how he

  443. moves and changes these things I understand how he what his heart is like I can touch it I which is

  444. why actually in Exodus you begin to see initially God says stretch out your I will stretch out my

  445. hand I'll stretch out my hand I'll stretch out my hand in one passage he'll say with respect to the

  446. plagues in one in one chapter he says no Moses you stretch out your hand teaching you step by step

  447. now I am now I need you to stretch out because I've given you the keys keys to open please keys

  448. to close keys to lock and unlock yeah let's pray

  449. let me see if

  450. I can get it

  451. yeah one last thing I'll say guys ask for tangible experiences

  452. I know that the west and people or churches that may have moved the pendulum to one extreme

  453. it may seem like I don't need tangible experiences I understand the word I know who God is and so I

  454. can still do everything he wants me to do knowing these things and absolutely right but I think

  455. a son or a daughter who wants to get past the limitations of the flesh would want the father

  456. to show him to you in a different way and those experiences will touch you and mark you for your

  457. life and so ask that dream that tell him I want to go beyond and it'll do something in you when you

  458. begin to think that way so Abba we thank you for the fact and the truth that your spirit lives

  459. inside of us and that we are your sons and daughters each one of us uniquely created for

  460. unique purposes Abba we want to take on a posture every day where we leave our sandals

  461. leave our sandals where we remove our sandals sandals that remind us of the things that I

  462. talked about and we actually we wear a new set of sandals written in Ephesians chapter six

  463. sandals that help us bear witness to the one we have witnessed help us to be about kingdom men and

  464. women because we delight when your name is praised we look forth to days when we will see as we as

  465. we sang before the earth shouting and crying your name born singing that you are great and there is

  466. none like you in Jesus name amen I don't think we had any and nothing else to announce right

  467. if if you need prayer please come up there'll be someone here to pray with you thank you

  468. you
