I want to thank you for the teaching today. Jacob actually gave me the choice to pick what
-
I wanted. So I said, Jacob, you know what, just give me what you want me to teach on.
-
when it was Isaiah chapter 35, he said, you know, pick a point or choose what you want
Isaiah 35 chapter mention
-
to teach on. So I was like, it's my first teaching on a Sunday. Might as well do it
-
well. You know, something that is comfortable to me is that something that's close to my
-
heart. And I really want to do that. And I was actually starting to prepare that way.
-
But I kept feeling that God was drifting me back. God was pulling me back to the teachings
-
that we have been having in action over the last couple of weeks, which is the presence
-
of God, the holiness of God, the arc of the God, the carriers of the arc. And I remember
-
my mom telling me every time you feel like God is repeating himself, he's onto something.
-
And so this is not my familiar topic. This is not what I want to teach on. But when God
-
says something, you might as well do it because God is onto something. And so for me, one
-
thing that I was thinking when I was writing this was I've been in Acts 29 for close,
-
this is my 10th anniversary. And I think almost four and a half years, we have been waiting
-
on a promise since 2021 or so. And the promise is this one thing that God is going to bring
-
in a revival, that God is going to move like never before. God is going to touch the hearts
-
of the young men and young women. God is going to do ridiculous things that we have never
-
seen before, but we're still waiting. It's been four and a half years. And so one part
-
of me is like, Father, I know this is you. I know this is you speaking these things.
-
I know it is your heart for the city. But on the other side, I'm like, did we miss it
-
or did we mishear it? Because what are the odds that we are waiting for four and a half
-
years? And so as I was thinking through these things, one thing led to the other. And Kezia
-
asked me to show a book to my mother-in-law. And so that book, some of you have probably
-
heard of this book. And it's a book where my mom, before I came to Canada, she wrote
-
all the promises that were spoken over me. So I think the first note in that starts in
-
2006 and it ends in 2019. I think she came back and she wrote extra because I came in
-
2015. But when I was reading through those prophecies that were spoken over me, one thing
-
that stood out to me is that, man, some of the prophecies that were spoken over me when
-
I was in 2006, I was like 12, 14 years old, are some ridiculous prophecies. I could not
-
have seen that coming. I was a boy who had no idea what life was going to look like.
-
And as I was reading through those words, I saw that God kept prophesying, kept speaking
-
things over my life, kept adding to those things. But right now I'm living in a phase
-
where he's fulfilling those promises. As I'm speaking right now on this pulpit, he's fulfilling
-
a prophecy. The point I'm trying to make is that it does not matter how long I wait. If
-
God said something, he will bring it to pass. That is the assurance with which I'm speaking
-
right now because I don't care if I've waited for four and a half years right now. I don't
-
care whether I have to wait one more year or one and a half more years. I don't care
-
because I know if God has spoken something, he will bring to pass. A couple of weeks back,
-
Remy was actually saying something that stood out to me during pursuit. You guys are all
-
missing pursuit by the way. During pursuit, something Remy spoke really stood out to me.
-
He said for us, the problem that we have been with Christians for a while is that the God
-
of the Bible is still just the God of the Bible. As in, he's the God of Old Testament,
-
he's the God of New Testament, but that's it. He's also the God of the latest Testament,
-
which is you and I, guys. The very same God who was speaking things in the past, as I'm speaking
-
right now, God is fulfilling promises left, right and center. He's raising dead bodies as we speak.
-
He's healing tumors and cancers as we speak. He's setting people free as we speak. He's casting
-
out demons as we speak. Just because you and I don't see does not mean he's not doing things.
-
Just because you and I don't have the eyes open, that's the reason why I prayed about open our
-
eyes because sometimes you're just blind to what is happening just around us. You're so blind to
-
the fact that you are moving like crazy and I'm not able to see what you're planning. So this
-
teaching, guys, and as I said, for me, I'm sure that God gave me this. I'm sure that I'm delivering
-
on behalf of God. So I don't care what you think. I don't care what you, you know, how you feel about
-
this, but this is the truth. And one reason I'm, again, when Jacob spoke about this prophecy of a
-
revival coming, it was Jacob's prophecy. Like it came out of Jacob. But one thing that happened in
-
my life was that it became mine. I had the ability to take it from Jacob. And now when I'm
-
speaking, I'm not speaking on behalf of Jacob. I'm speaking on behalf of God who has given the
-
conviction in my heart that he is going to do something. And so when you guys are listening,
-
you have two choice. One is for, this is the same old thing that we have been hearing, what news
-
is going to come. That can be one attitude. Or the second part is, man, God has been saying
-
something. But today might be a different day where I cling on to what he's saying. Make sense?
-
Any questions? I know I went on a tangent. Guys, one reason that we have to think of this is
-
because regardless of whether you and I believe this and run with this, he will do what he said
-
he's going to do. One, because it's not about you and me. It's about a nation. It's about a
-
generation. It's about all the young people in the 20s and 30s and 40s going to hell. It matters to
-
him. It matters to him. And that's the reason why whether we are on board or not, he'll still do
-
what he's supposed to do. He's not going to stop. But he's giving us this invitation. Guys, get on
-
board. Guys, prepare. And I'm not coming from a place of like, we are not doing that. I know we
-
are. But he's, for the people who are yet to join or for some of us who have been restless in seeing
-
this come to pass, this is God just recharging us. This is just God saying, the time is here. The time
-
is now. And somebody said that while we were preaching, while we were praying, the time is
-
here and the time is now. So if you want a topic for today, it is going to be when God enters. When
-
God enters. And I'm just going to teach from Isaiah chapter 35. When God enters. And when I
Isaiah 35 chapter mention
-
teach about this, I might be touching on, you know, when God enters into a city or into a life or into
-
a family or into a nation, it does not matter where God enters, because when he enters, it's the
-
same. When God enters, the results are the same. So it does not matter in your heart where you want,
-
what you want to cling on to today. If you want God to enter into your life, this is probably the
-
first time that you're in a church. It's your first time knowing about this God. This teaching is
-
perfect for you. Because may God enter into your life, enter into your family, enter into your
-
household who have not heard of Yahweh and Yeshua. Enter into your life that, you know, you probably
-
heard his name once, but may God do something. So let's go. Isaiah chapter 35, verse 1.
-
The desert and the parched land will be glad. The wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the
-
crocus, it will burst into bloom. It will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. The glory of Lebanon
-
will be given to it. The splendor of Carmel and Sharon. Verse 6. Water will gush forth in the
-
wilderness and streams in the desert. The burning sand will become a pool. The thirsty ground,
-
bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow. I want
-
to read this one more time. The desert and the parched land will be glad. The wilderness will
-
rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom. It will rejoice greatly and shout
-
for joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it. The splendor of Carmel and Sharon. Water will
-
gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. The burning sand will become a pool. The
-
thirsty ground, bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reed and papyrus
-
will grow. I want to read this again because we can just read through this and completely miss
-
the point. What God is trying to say is that I am going to do when I enter, I'm going to do
-
something ridiculous that it may seem impossible at the moment. It may seem impossible when you
-
look around that the state of your city, the state of your life is so different from what God is
-
claiming it to be. He's saying that this parched land, how in the world is the burning sand becoming
-
a pool? How in the world is the thirsty ground bubbling with springs? How in the world is water
-
gushing forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert? It's practically impossible. It's not
-
possible. And God is saying when I enter, this is what is going to happen. There is a word in the
-
Bible called Ichabod. And the meaning of Ichabod is when glory departs, when God departs. There is
-
a verse in Matthew chapter 23, verse 37 and 38. It says, Oh, Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who killed
-
the prophets and stoned those who sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children
-
together. As a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing. Look, your house
-
is left to you desolate. It says, look, your house is left to you desolate. And he's speaking to
-
Jerusalem. It is his house, but he's saying, look at your house. He's not claiming it to be his
-
house anymore. You cannot find God in Jerusalem anymore. This is the meaning of the word Ichabod
-
where he is not there. One of the first things when fall happened was the land was cursed. What
-
did the land do? But just because God is not present, the place becomes a wilderness.
-
And I know Jacob has said so many things about the land. I remember this one story when I think he's
-
shared in 2021 or something where he said, when a revival broke out in one of the places, I think
-
South America, the land was barely making any crops and any fruits. But when revival broke out,
-
people started repenting and God was moving like crazy. And the land reflected what the presence of
-
God looked like. The crops became bigger. It's not possible. Apples were this size. Or I don't know,
-
I don't go to the grocery store much. Maybe I do, but I don't look at the names. But those things
-
got bigger. The point that I'm trying to make is that guys, the effect of God entering
-
is ridiculous. You will see it is not going to be a passive, subtle thing. It's going to be
-
right on your face. One thing that will happen is that he will reclaim his house. It's not going to
-
be your house anymore. It's going to be his house. It's going to be his house. He will dwell in the
-
house. He's reclaiming what is his. He's reclaiming what belongs to him.
-
I have so many stories that come to my mind. But I want to touch on this story because it's very
-
close to my heart. The reason I speak a lot of these things is because some of these stories
-
happened in my family. And personal people might know this. My uncle, when I met him,
-
he is one of the most meekest people ever. He's one of the most nicest people ever. He's probably
-
meeker than Tooney, who is the other meekest man I've seen. But I didn't know that he had a past.
-
Apparently, he was wanted by the police. He was a black belt teacher. He used to do drugs and
-
he used to drink a lot. He used to go and fight the police. He used to go fight with the people.
-
He was on the wanted list. But when I see his past with what I know of him, it's not the same.
-
There's a big difference. I'm talking about a drastic difference. If not for my mom,
-
I wouldn't know a story like that because that man does not reflect the life that he led.
-
There was one thing that happened because he walked into a church with a knife on his side
-
and he was sitting. And the preacher said, you have a knife right now. If you surrender your
-
knife and your life to God, he will make wonders happen in your life. I have not seen a man with
-
such faith in my life. And I know I'm talking about life, because I don't want anybody to
-
miss out because it's all about city. I'm talking about this kind of stories multiplied by 100.
-
I'm talking about that is what happens when God invades a city. That is what happens when God
-
moves like never before. You and I cannot imagine the magnitude of his presence.
-
You and I cannot imagine what it will look like because you have not seen,
-
you have not seen what God has in store. You have not seen what his plans are.
-
So that is the first thing, that he will move.
-
When the ark entered the house, Tuni talked about this, of Obed-Edo. It stayed there for three months
-
and his house flourished. I'm giving examples of life of a house, of a city, of a nation,
-
where God enters and it changes everything. One cool thing about coming from India is that
-
I've seen people who were ravaged by the devil. Because there are so many, it's not that Canada
-
is all perfect, eh? It's just that the demons are a little more subtle, I guess. But in India,
-
it's very, they ravage because they serve other gods and demonic attacks are very visible.
-
So I've seen with my eyes how God literally transformed families. I've seen a drunkard family
-
who was known for ages, generations and generations of drunkards change like that.
-
And that, I'm just painting a picture because I still cannot understand how big God is going to
-
do it. But I've seen and because I've seen, I will speak. Because I've seen, I will testify.
-
And because I've seen, I will believe. And I hope that this belief is not just mine and in the
-
process, you cling on to what God is doing, eh? Second thing that I want to speak,
-
strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way. Say to those with fearful hearts,
-
be strong, do not fear. Your God will come. This is from verse three. I'll read it again. Verse three,
-
strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give away. Say to those with fearful hearts,
-
be strong, do not fear. Your God will come. He will come with vengeance, with divine retribution.
-
He will come to save you. They will see the glory of the Lord, the splendor of our God.
-
One thing that you have to note in here is that he didn't say, I will strengthen the feeble hands.
-
I will steady the knees. I will say to the, he's saying you do this. He's saying you go and
-
strengthen the feeble hands. You go steady the knees that give away. You say to those with
-
fearful hearts, be strong, do not fear. Your God will come. He will come with vengeance and divine
-
retribution. He will come to save you. They will see the glory of the Lord, the splendor of our God.
-
It is one thing to pray. It is another thing to do. And I'm not taking away the emphasis on prayer
-
because it's the most important thing. But with that, some of us have to do things.
-
With that, I wish I can say everybody, but I know that's not the case, but I want that to be the
-
case. That everybody gets on board. That everybody does something. That everybody participates in what
-
God is doing. That everybody believes what he's saying and goes out. That it's not just prayer
-
warriors, but then there are doers and action people because prayer alone, guys, God will do
-
things with prayer, but why will he limit just for him to directly approach people when he can do it
-
through people? If you read the books of the Bible, he has always done it through people.
-
Sometimes the same people that prayed, who did it? Sometimes it's somebody else who prayed,
-
but somebody else who did it. So for you and me, it's the same thing.
-
I just don't want to be a prayer, a prayer-er. I want to do more than that. I want to be a doer.
-
So many things coming into my... One of the most common excuses
-
that I hear when I'm saying this is one, I don't know enough. I'm not ready yet because I am very
-
new. And the other reason is because I don't have a PhD like Dr. Tooney. I don't know the word that
-
much. And this is the reality. And a lot of people say this. I personally know people who say this.
-
I sometimes doubt myself too. And one thing that I want to say is that when God enters the city,
-
there's very little that you have to do because he cannot wait until you get your PhD.
-
Because he cannot wait till you finish your Bible reading that has started 15 years ago.
-
Because he cannot wait until you're done with every verse in the Bible. It's great if you have,
-
but you'll find another excuse. You have a question, Rafa?
-
Yeah. Too easily we let fear. Absolutely. Absolutely. And so that is...
-
I'll share a story that really changed the way I think about this. But
-
in India, back in the day, I'm giving a lot of examples from India because that's where I grew
-
up, eh? Nothing against Canada. I love Canada. But in India, when I was growing up, my mom used to
-
take us everywhere on public transit. There's this huge bus where... And I like to sit in the... Right
-
this is the driver's seat. In India, safety is not a concern. So you can sit literally next
-
to the bus driver. And you'll see these massive guys. Their forums are like this big. Because
-
they'll pull the steer with all their life to turn the bus around. And some of you have probably seen
-
it. All you new generation guys, you have no idea what I'm talking about. But I'm just 33.
-
If you're older than 33, you probably saw this. But one thing that changed when I went back in
-
2018 is that I'm seeing fresh out of school guys who are thinner, way thinner.
-
I don't want to say a name, but way thinner, who would just drive the bus with one finger
-
and another hand on the phone. Like this. You know what changed? The technology changed.
-
There was a power steering that was put in place. The point I'm trying to make is that the driver
-
with the same effort that he put back in the day, you don't have to put the same effort because
-
God is on the move. You are power driven. It is the power of God that is doing things. It's not
-
my preaching guys. I can preach here for all the day. None of you will get anything. But the words
-
that I speak, if it is empowered by the Spirit of God, even before I open my mouth, people will
-
start to get healed. There is a difference in power driven work that you do on the field. That
-
is why I'm saying do not give me excuses. And when I say it's not me, God is asking,
-
do not give God your excuses because you'll keep finding excuses one after the other. And he's
-
saying, let me empower you. All I need is for you to open your mouth and I'll fill it. This is a
-
verse from the Bible and it's probably one of the most misquoted verses because in Pentecostal
-
backgrounds in India, that's where I come from. Again, India, right? I know.
-
For a difference, let's talk Bahrain. In Pentecostal churches in Bahrain, I'm pretty
-
sure every Pentecostal church in that area is the same. This is the words that they use when they
-
lay hands upon you and fill you with the power of the Holy Ghost. And what they say is that,
-
hey, open your mouth so that you can start speaking in tongues. That's the only time
-
I've heard these words. But man, when I was going through this, God told me, you're limiting me so
-
much. Open your mouth so that let me fill you with the power of the Ghost so that you can speak,
-
not for yourself, but for the people around you. That is the reason why I say even before sometimes
-
you open your mouth because God is on the move. You will see healings break out. You will see
-
signs, miracles and wonders start to happen. You will see God just flowing because it's not you.
-
You are just opening your mouth because you are just there, because you are just there to introduce
-
Christ. And it does not matter whether you are one day in Christ. I know I'm making bold statements
-
or whether you have been 50 years in Christ. It does not matter if he wants to use it.
-
Because as I said, we are talking about revival. We are not talking about any other day.
-
The point of a revival is that God wants to do something. His hands are itching. Whether you do
-
it or not, he is going to move. So you just being there is only adding to the impact that he's going
-
to make. So whether you are one day old or not, that does not make a difference because all God
-
is looking for is blood washed people who don't have an excuse. Blood washed people who are just
-
willing. One of my favorite stories is about this boy who was 17 years old. He attended a day. His
-
name was David. I personally don't know that this happened somewhere else. I know the story, but
-
he attended a, I don't know what the right word is, conventions. What is the other word for
-
conventions guys? Like where people gather and preach at conferences? No, something with tents.
-
What? Crusades guys, come on. Revival meeting.
-
Crusades are happening. Seven day crusades. And this guy, for the first time in his life, he's
-
knowing about this, this person called Jesus. And for seven days, he keeps hearing about this
-
person called Jesus, who was willing to change his life and who is to, who's willing to change
-
everything where he enters. And he's like, man, I want this Jesus. So this boy waits after the
-
seven days are over and he tries to meet the preacher and he meets the preacher and he says,
-
Hey, I want the same feeling that you were talking about. I want the same anointing and filling of
-
God that you were talking about. So the preacher lays hands and he prays and this boy, he goes back
-
to the village. And as he enters the village, there's a woman who carries a paralyzed or a weak
-
kid. The first born of that lady passed away. So this is the second born and that, that kid is also
-
sick. And he says, as he entered and as he saw it, the normal thing in the village is that you
-
cannot speak to the, to, to a person of the opposite gender and who's older than you.
-
But in his heart, he felt this divine love of God that was surpassing everything. He had no choice
-
but to step in and he had no choice but to go talk to the lady. He goes and prays and the kid gets
-
healed. I'm talking about a person who just heard the word of God, but this is not the end of the
-
story. After that, this lady starts talking because you talk because this kid was about to die, but all
-
of a sudden there is life in the situation. So she starts talking. The chief of the village now hears
-
that there is this boy who just healed a kid. So he says, Hey, get me the boy.
-
And the boy walks and meets the chief and he says, I have a crippled daughter.
-
Can you heal my daughter? And I know that when I'm saying these things,
-
people don't know who is doing this. So they might say, Hey, can you? And it's absolutely
-
okay with God. He is not this power hungry, glory hungry God who will be offended if his children
-
take the glory for a minute. So going back to the story, so this boy says, yeah, I can come and pray
-
because all he has seen is the one time he prayed healing broke out. He was like, you know what? I'll
-
pray. So he gets into this hut and it's a dark room and he walks in and he sees this kid
-
who is crippled sitting on the floor. And when I say crippled, legs are disfigured. It's crisscross.
-
And so he goes in and the only thing he knows is pray. As he prays, he hears bones start to crack.
-
As he prays, he feels something is changing. All of a sudden this kid starts to scream
-
and starts to rise up because the bones that were crooked are now straight and she can walk.
-
And then all of a sudden this man says, Hey, the chief says, Hey, why don't you do a prayer meeting
-
in the city, in this village? And he pays for the entire event. The next seven days, this boy
-
preaches seven guys, the revival breaks out. I'm talking whom did, whom did I break out through?
-
Through a boy who was 17 years old, who heard about Jesus seven days back. What is your excuse?
-
Why do you think that revival breaks out through only professional preachers and professional
-
pastors? It's not the same. If that's against you and I, we are all done. Only Jacob will qualify.
-
The question is, what did he preach for the next seven days? Because he knows nothing about
-
this God. Tooni, I see you're laughing. Tooni is itching to preach, but today I'm not giving up to
-
Tooni. What did he preach for seven days? When, and that was not the end of the miracle, see?
-
Every day when he preached, signs, miracles and wonders would start to break out because God
-
was on the move. The boy, all he preached was the seven day teachings that he heard from the other
-
preacher. That's all he knew. And most of you have more teaching topics than that. Most of you
-
know more about God. Word is stopping you.
-
Kezia told me that I have to finish before Tooni usually stops. So I'm looking at the
-
clock and I'll try my best. Verse five, we're jumping to the next point. Verse five,
-
five. Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then will the
-
lame leap like a deer and the mute tongue shout for joy. Once you do this, once you declare who I am,
-
then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then will the
-
lame leap like a deer and the mute tongue shout for joy. Acts 26, verse 18 says, to open their eyes,
-
this eyes that was blind, to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light
-
and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place
-
among those who are sanctified by faith in me. The tongue that was once bound by brokenness and sin
-
will now proclaim God. I'm not talking about just a deaf ear opening, just a blind eye opening.
-
I'm not just talking about physical healing too. That will happen, guaranteed. But I'm talking
-
about the eyes that do not see this God will open. The tongue that is deaf to speak will open.
-
The power of God will break out through them. Some of them will do greater works than you ever did.
-
The people, let me make that point one more time. Some of you whom you touch will do greater works
-
and they are now in the deepest pit, but you will give your hand and you will lift them up and they
-
will do bigger things than you could ever imagine. That is the meaning of this. Then will the eyes
-
of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then will the lame leap like a deer
-
unstopped. Then will the lame leap like a deer. Because leaping like a deer is not a normal leap.
-
Like a deer. Then the mute tongue shall for joy and the joy is not the joy that you can give.
-
It's a joy that will set nations apart. It's a joy that will capture the other hearts.
-
And that is why the enemy tries so hard to give you excuses because it's not about you.
-
Because you might be raising another Billy Graham, you never know.
-
Because you might be the one who will reach out to one man who will touch another 500.
-
Because as long as you are the person, the enemy will give you all kinds of excuses.
-
All kinds of excuses. As we were preparing today and I was so sure this is from God, one doubt
-
all of a sudden they came to me like, don't this is all you. This bluff is all you. Man the enemy
-
is so active. He can fight to withdraw me from giving this to you because this is God's message
-
for you. And if he is doing right when I'm about to speak, how much more will he do with you on a
-
daily basis? Because whom you set free will set others free. Whom you touch will be the reason
-
science miracles and wonders break out in their village. You have no idea. You have no idea.
-
It's not about you. And the story I want to share, I'm giving stories because it makes
-
imagination a little big. This is a story from Reynard Bonke and I love the guy, but that's on
-
the side. One story he shared is that in Nigeria he was speaking the word of God in a park called
-
Uhuru Park. And in the park, again it was a conference kind of thing and then people were
-
gathered and there was one lady who was coming to see God. And the difference of this lady was that
-
she was a divorcee. She had just been kicked out of her house. She had nothing to claim. And so she
-
sat through these conferences and one thing that she asked is, God you have given Reynard Bonke
-
a million souls. Give me 100. Give me 100 souls. She didn't ask for anything else. She didn't ask
-
for a personal redemption. She didn't ask for a new husband. She said, God give me 100 souls.
-
Years go by and she couldn't meet Reynard Bonke. So she's like, you know what, I don't know, wait
-
till I meet Reynard Bonke so that he can lay hands and give me. And that's not the point here. That's
-
because she didn't know better. All she had to do was ask. She would have received then and there.
-
But she waited and then she got an opportunity to meet Reynard Bonke. He laid hands and this
-
girl got filled with the power of the spirit. She goes back to the village. She says, I'm gonna
-
talk to women. I'm going to rent a small house. I'm gonna start teaching them. First day 17 people
-
showed up. She said, you know what, I feel like God is telling me to go bigger. She rents a room.
-
She rents a banquet hall. She rents an auditorium. People keep flooding. People keep flooding.
-
People keep flooding. She rents finally the Uhuru Park where Reynard Bonke once preached.
-
And more people gathered to listen to her preaching. The point that I'm trying to make
-
is that some of you will touch people who will do greater works than you.
-
In that story, he says, I asked God why he chose this lady.
-
He could have found so many people who are better than her. She was a divorcee. She was a lady.
-
Why did he chose her? There are guys who have gone to Bible schools. They are not going to
-
there are guys who have gone to Bible schools and Bible colleges ready to do the ministry.
-
Why did he choose her? And God said, I am going to make the broken vessel, the noble vessels.
-
And that is why I'm saying none of you are disqualified into joining this.
-
None of you have probably been kicked out of the house and is going through a rough time like her.
-
But what she asked mattered. She asked for a hundred souls and God gave her plenty and plenty.
-
Next point, and a highway will be there.
-
This is verse eight, and a highway will be there. It will be called the way of
-
holiness. It will be for those who walk on the way. The unclean will not journey on it. Wicked
-
fools will not go about on it. One more time, and a highway will be there. It will be called
-
the way of holiness. It will be for those who walk on the way. The unclean will not journey on it.
-
The wicked fools will not go about on it. One thing I know that Tony specifically spoke on this
-
two weeks back. I just want to click on one word. He calls it the highway of holiness.
-
He did not call it a side road. He did not call it a single lane road. He said highway.
-
Because you won't miss it. This holiness and this road of holiness that he is preparing
-
is not just for you and for me. It is a big six lane highway or 12 lane highway
-
where there will be many more who will enter.
-
There will be high traffic. It's not just for one person or two people. And the point I want to
-
keep bringing to you is the question. Don, you're making ridiculous statements. Yes, I am.
-
But I am not the one who's doing this. It's God who said something. He will do it. He will do it.
-
So there is an urgency that God will put in the people's heart.
-
You are not the one who is making this happen. There will be people out of nowhere who will want
-
to know more about God. Even without you speaking in their dreams and the visions, God might move
-
them. You wouldn't know, but they might need somebody to talk to. They might need somebody
-
who is ready. And that's why Remy, when he was on the sea, he said, go to the highways,
-
go to the inroads, speak, because at the end of the day, somebody has to give them what they need,
-
at least a clue of where to go. With our eyes, we'll see a generation that will desire and hunger
-
for holiness. With our eyes, we'll see a generation. This is not what we're seeing now. The world that
-
we see, the world that we know, the schools that we see, the workplaces that we see,
-
the streets that we see, is not the same. And God is saying, I will change the direction.
-
I will put in their hearts a desire and a hunger for holiness. I will give it to them.
-
Remy. One thing, as I was writing this, God specifically spoke to me was that,
-
now we need to pray for our kids who will go to schools, because
-
God can break out a revival in a school. God can use our kids who can be forerunners
-
of this, what God is doing, because he wants to touch young men, anybody who is not in their
-
masters and under. Let's pray for them later today. Or I don't know whether we'll get the time, but
-
pray that they are the ones who will be used to make a difference in schools, because God is on
-
the move. That is the generation that the enemy is after. That's the same generation God is after.
-
And so you and I, we have a duty to pray and equip our kids, equip our kids, tell them that
-
they can do this, because they might be under confident. They have no idea what the mantle
-
that's upon them. They have no idea that this calling is good for them. They have no idea that
-
if they lay hands and speak, miracles will break out. They have no idea. Tell them that this is the
-
God who is moving and he's inviting these kids out of the babes mouth is what it says in Psalms.
-
Out of the mouth of babes will come glory that will drown the enemy, will drown the enemy.
-
I want to repeat this. May these verses not be some old tale and you know, some proverbs that
-
you use occasionally. May these things come to pass. May these, with your and my eyes, man,
-
I want to see this. I want to, before I die, I want to be drenched in the revival.
-
But that's a long time. You know what, before I, in 10 years, I don't want to say that's also too
-
long. Before I know, I want revival to break out and I want to be in the thick of it,
-
because I know this is not, this is not something that my mind just made up. This is not something
-
that Jacob just made out of nowhere. This is what God is doing. This is yours to claim. This is
-
yours to take and run with. This is yours to move. A few things we need to be aware of as we wait for
-
his promise. One thing is that, and again, as I said, it does not matter whether you're one day in
-
Christ or 50 years in Christ, the enemy will try to distract you and tell you you're not ready for
-
it. There will be a blurring of your calling. Blurring, as in you kind of know it, but you don't
-
really, really know it. There will be a blurring of your calling. Blurring, as in you kind of know
-
it, but you don't really, really know it. There will be a blurring of the calling that's upon you.
-
How many of you know Barack? Barack, not Barack Obama, no, Barack of the Bible.
-
Maybe it's Barack, I don't know, B-A-R-K, you know? Okay, that's the whole point that you wouldn't
-
know. Let me read Judges Chapter 4 verse 6 to 9. Deborah sent for Barack, son of Abinuam, from
-
Kadesh in Naphtali and said to him, the Lord, the God of Israel commands you, go take with you 10,000
-
men of Naphtali and Zebulun and lead them to Mount Tabor. I will lead Cicero, the commander of Jabin's
-
army, with his chariots and troops to the Kishon River and give him into your hands.
-
Barack said to Deborah, if you go with me, I will go, but if you don't go with me, I won't go.
-
Certainly, I will go with you, said Deborah, but because of the course you are taking, the honor
-
will be, will not be yours, for the Lord will deliver Cicero into the hands of a woman.
-
You all know Deborah, right? Otherwise, you have to read the Bible. The other one, the other one
-
can be an excuse because the glory was not his. You know why? Because it was his. It was supposed
-
to be his, but he missed it. There will be a blurring of the calling that is upon you. The enemy
-
will tell you, man, you're not the one that's supposed to do it, or he might just blur the vision.
-
One thing that happened to me when I was reading through those prophecies is that I am,
-
what I do at Axis-Pininen will not be the end of it. If I die at 80 years and all I do is preach
-
to you guys, it will be a waste of my life. Not because you're, that's not the point, but
-
because the calling on me, I know. Because the calling that's upon my life, I know.
-
Are your eyes blurred to the calling that's upon your life? David, is the calling that's, Daniel,
-
man, I messed up your name. God won't. Daniel, the question is, do you know the calling that's
-
upon your life? Do you know the calling that's upon your life? Bishop, do you know the calling
-
that's upon your life? Or is it blurred? Do you want to go back and listen to what God spoke over
-
you years back, even when you were a boy? George, Ashish, and I'm picking people from Pursuit because
-
I know them. I know every one of you has a calling that's been blurred sometimes because
-
that's what the enemy wants. Because if you know your calling, you won't sit and you won't settle
-
for what you have. Second thing, fear of failure. And I spoke about this. What if I am wrong? How
-
many times have we not stepped into places? How many times have we not spoken the word that God
-
gave us because of one question that was in our mind? What if I'm wrong? What if this is out of
-
context? What if this is not what God wants to speak? Fear of failure is not the fear of going
-
wrong. It's mostly the fear of failure. And that God is saying, leave it with me. Because of the
-
boy who heard about me seven days ago, if I can do it through him, I can do much more through you.
-
Now, when I was a growing boy and I was, I think, seven or eight years old, I would jump into
-
occasions to lay hands and pray. I'm not like that anymore. You know why? Because I'm scared of failing.
-
Back in the day, all I knew was that if I lay hands and pray, God will heal because that's all
-
I've seen. Now that's not the case anymore because I've seen failure. And now I'm worried that if I
-
lay my hands, my reputation will go. Not that I have any with you, but outside, what if I lay my
-
hands and they're like, nothing happened? My fear of failure will drive me from stepping into places,
-
opening my mouth.
-
Biscinus of the world will choke the time out of you so that you cannot concentrate on your calling.
-
As you are closer to your calling, more things will be added to you by the world. And these are
-
good things. Maybe you deserve those things. Maybe that is how the projectory of your life is because
-
more things will be added. But one thing that can happen is that the enemy can use those things to
-
choke the time and the priority out of you. What you were built for, you won't get there because
-
you'll be distracted or you'll take time. You'll keep wasting time. And by the time you step into
-
I am ready, you're getting your hours speed. If you have one. You guys are not laughing. So what
-
I'm supposed to do? You probably don't have our RRS piece. I don't know. Okay.
-
Dullness of the heart and dullness from the enemy. One thing that can happen is because you're
-
waiting. It can be just another promise. Just one of those promises that God spoke. Just one of those
-
things that can be added to the 30 other promises that have not been fulfilled yet. There is a chance
-
that the enemy will dull your heart and your mind. Think about this Abraham and Sarah.
-
You know this story well enough. But sometimes I think did Abraham not tell Sarah what was happening?
-
I mean, they must have talked because God told Abraham, hey, through you, I'll raise a generation.
-
And then Sarah tells him, hey, I'm not worried. I won't have a child. So why don't you take Hagar?
-
I'm like, didn't you guys talk?
-
Sometimes your faith,
-
if you don't protect it, somebody else can come and damage it. Abraham knew for a fact, but he
-
fell for it because the faith was not Sarah's because she did not catch on to it. Because
-
later even God comes to Mamre and he tells her, hey, you will have a child. And she laughs off.
-
Sometimes some people won't just get it. And that's okay. It should not take away from the faith that
-
you have, that God has deposited inside of you. The person sitting next to you may not get it
-
today, but that should not stop you from what God wants to give you. Tuneet, do you want to join me
-
and rest of the worship team? The reason I stopped early is because I felt like God was saying, hey,
-
tonight I want you to spend time. Join me guys. And before we spend some time in worship, hey,
-
it's up to Tuneet. I'm not the responsible one. Tuneet can take an hour. I don't know. Usually he does.
-
But in this time, it's not about what I've spoken. It's not about what you've heard.
-
It's about your heart and God's heart. And there are two questions that God asked me to do today.
-
One is, I think Jacob spoke about this, but a rededication of yourself to God.
-
That's the first thing. Second thing, if you don't have a calling yet, he's asking, can you
-
ask of me? Can you ask of me what you want? Can you ask of me a hundred souls?
-
It's because you don't ask. It's because you don't need it. And so right now, as you're spending time
-
in worship, hey, I want some of you have never gone through this process. I have a calling to step up
-
and be like, Abba, what is my calling? It's not just meant for people who are upon the pulpit,
-
because majority of the work will be happening through you who is listening. Some of you have
-
blurred your calling. You have lost what you had. And he's saying tonight, by the power of God,
-
I will reignite things in your life. For some of you, you may think I am never the guy for this.
-
And God is saying, come and ask and see what I can do. So for some of us, all it takes
-
is to submit, surrender, rededicate. For some of you, it will be the fresh start of your life,
-
not for yourself, but for what God is calling you to do. So regardless of whether, guys, you
-
how much you know about Jesus or not, all you have to know is that he is willing to work through you.
-
You don't have to know Genesis to Revelation,
-
because God is looking for a willing person
-
who will step up and answer the call, who will step up and say, Abba, here I am. Use me.
-
So Father, I've been obedient to you. I come to you because you said,
-
this is what you'll do today. And this is what I've done. I've spoken what you've given me.
-
Now it is up to you, Abba. I pray there are hungry hearts. If there are hungry hearts in this room,
-
you will fill them, not for their sake. I pray, Abba, if there are people who are listening to
-
these, some of these stories and thinking, I will never see this because I don't have what it takes.
-
Abba, I pray that you give them the calling. You give them a fresh mantle. You give them
-
a fresh anointing. You give them the fresh taste of heaven. I pray about that. They will experience
-
you like never before. Some of them will break out into tongues. Some of them will be healed
-
because it's the power of God that will invade this place. Abba, I pray as Thuny sings and the
-
worship team sings, I pray about that you move, that some of the hearts here Abba will be fresh
-
and fertile to take what you have deposited tonight. I pray about that some of the people who are
-
standing on the verge will jump into the thick. I pray about that some of the people who are in
-
the outskirts will choose to be in the highway. I pray about that some of them who have not made
-
the decision to follow you will choose to follow you. Today is the day. Nick, you said it. Today is
-
the day. Abba, I leave the room open to you. Come and do what only you can do.
-
Come and do only what you can do. In your precious name Jesus I pray. Amen.
