Our pastor and our fellow brother and trainer.

In fact, uh to give you a little, just uh history.

He spent seven years here in Birmingham.

He did his undergrad at uh Southeastern Bible College, a good school here for training pastors, and then did his Master of Divinity at Beeson Seminary.

So it is a joy to have our pastor, our friend Rejoyce Dalima in our pulpit today.

Let's give him a warm welcome.

I want my wife to just say a word of greeting to you before we continue.

It's good to be here.

I'm Pastor Rejoyce Ndalima from Tanzania, East Africa.

I'll show you a little map for you to see where Tanzania is located.

Maybe some of you have never been to Tanzania.

How many of us have been to Tanzania in here?

Good number.

At least we have good uh representation.

Uh, I want Beatrice to just greet you, then we'll continue.

I greet you in the name of Jesus.

My name is Beatrice Indalima.

I come from Daresam in Tanzania.

Thank you for inviting me to be in your church.

I like your church the way it is.

God bless you.

Thank you.

You you get to be smart to marry such a beautiful woman.

Um, it's a great pleasure for me to be here today.

Um, I've known Christy and David for many years.

Dr.

Danny.

We visited them in Chattanooga, spent the night with them.

I still remember the delicious meal you cooked for us.

Um, I want to extend my deep appreciation for this church for the way you've been praying for us and supporting us, especially supporting one of my uh sons in the faith, Reuben.

By the way, I have a lot of Rubens in Tanzania.

You've just seen one, but um that that is a big thing.

I really appreciate the church for your love and your support for the ministry there.

The church is growing, they are doing real good, and they sent greetings to you, and they love you.

My four children, I have two boys and two girls.

They also sent greetings to you.

Uh they are praying for us.

We called them yesterday.

They know that we'll be here today.

Possibly one of them will be coming the end of this year to uh go go to college here.

Ben is a drumist, he plays drums.

So I hope Ben, you have one of Tanzanian people to join his team.

Um, we were here uh long time ago and we left in 2005 to go back home and continue the ministry.

And I want to show you just a few things that we do in Tanzania.

By the way, Africa is changing.

It's changing, we are developing, but also Islam is coming very strongly.

Um, the statistics that were taken 20 years ago, we had 35 percent Muslims, 51 Christians, 14 percent other small groups, including pagans, but now Islam is almost 50-50 with Christians.

They use different methods to spread their religion, they encourage intermarriage with Christian women, bear as many children as you can.

Automatically they are Muslims, they bring investors, they have money from the East, uh, Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, uh, Dubay.

They start businesses because employment is one of the problems in Africa.

Only 20% are employed, 80% don't have uh jobs.

So, in order for someone to get a job, you change into Islam.

Some people don't don't care about about I need a job, I need some food to put on the table.

So it has been quite a struggle.

But um, this is one of the reasons I had to go back home and join the ministers that are there to continue uh preaching the gospel, training pastors, just reaching out.

Somebody has to do something.

When you see a problem, I'm gonna share you in a little bit.

I'm not preaching, I'm just greeting you.

I'm not there yet.

Somebody has to do something.

When you see a problem, count it as an opportunity for you to make a difference.

Grumblers and complainers have never changed anything.

Say that again.

There are people everywhere who are experts in complaining, blaming the government, preachers, family members, your uncle, your parents.

They didn't take me to school.

Yes, you are here.

They brought you into this world.

At least you are alive.

Do something about yourself and about others.

I'm gonna share with you about what God can use just um anybody.

Just anybody, somebody who thinks he is nothing, she's nothing, God can use you to bring an extraordinary impact in your community.

I've seen what is happening in Tanzania.

After we returned in 2005, we have been planting at least five churches each year.

Every year.

And we are continuing to do that.

Not because we have money, but because we serve God who owns silver and gold.

He owns the cattle in a thousand hills, he is the creator of everything.

He owns uh 7.2 billion people on planet earth.

He owns everything, he knows everything, he's omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient.

He's everywhere all the time.

There's no surprise with him.

He's all powerful, he can do anything.

A couple years ago, thieves attacked us in our family.

It was eight o'clock in the evening.

We had not locked the doors.

They came in with three guns, they broke into our house with three guns, they pointed a gun on my head and on my wife.

We have come to kill you.

I told them, I'm just a preacher.

Don't do that to me.

I'm not a businessman, I have not stolen anything from anybody.

I'm just a preacher of the gospel.

They said, No, we're gonna take whatever we can take from your house, but we must kill you and your family.

So we are in my bedroom, they took us from the sitting room to the bedroom.

I was laying on the ground praying.

I felt the power of God covering the room immediately.

And I was praying on the ground, Lord, save me today.

I have a work to do, and I've not finished it yet.

Spare my life.

I saw those people getting frustrated, they didn't know what they were trying to do.

One was standing at the bedroom door, guarding me and my children on the ground, make sure I don't get out.

Four of them were inside taking stuff, scaring my wife.

A few were outside, just a big gang.

Laying on the ground, I heard a voice telling me, Now I've controlled everything.

Get out and run.

So I woke up, they didn't see me.

The one who was standing at the door, I just pushed him like this, with his gun trembling.

I went outside, they tried to shoot at me three times, they kept missing, then they ran away.

The gospel is the power of God unto salvation, not just saving other people.

That power begins with me, it begins with you.

Jesus said the word I'm preaching to you is life, is life, it brings life to me, and to you, and to others.

I have seen lives getting changed dramatically, getting changed and transformed because Jesus can change people's lives.

Hallelujah.

I have not started preaching yet, brother George.

It's my dear friend George.

We met with him about what was it, 14 years ago?

It was 1998.

Long time ago.

It is easy to get a friend, but difficult to keep a friend.

I want him to say a word before I continue.

Thank you, Rejoyce.

Well, that's tough to follow.

Um I was uh after Rejoyce asked, he told me something earlier, he said, I won't you just get up and say something, and uh, and I was uh kind of thinking about uh just the unbelievable numbers of opportunities that I've had because of my friendship with Joyce in in Africa.

But uh I was at a pastor's conference and we had a uh gentleman there I'm sure Joyce remembers his name, but he had some African name, I can't remember.

But he was from Kenya, and he was giving us the kind of the call to to uh to study.

And he he came at us from the first passage of Romans, and it says, I Paul, am called to be.

And then he goes, Paul goes on and talks about he's called to be an apostle.

Well, we are all called, and so I'm George, I'm called to be a follower of Christ.

I'm called to follow him.

And there's a lot of confusion out there about whether or not we should travel on airplanes, or whether or not we should even go to Africa, or what are we gonna do about this or that?

And the whole world seems like it's confused.

But we don't need to be confused about one thing.

God has called us, and we are to follow him, and we're to seek where we are to follow him.

He put you here today for a reason, he put you to where you go tomorrow, he put you there for a reason, and he's calling you for a purpose.

We all have a purpose, and the joy in life is understanding and seeking out that purpose.

And so I just want you to recall that I told you we were all called, and this man is called to preach.

He's a wonderful preacher, so I turn it back over to him.

Let's just see a few things that we are doing in Tanzania before I preach.

In 2000, the first team was able to go with me to Tanzania.

When we came back, we formed RHMari Joyce and Hope Ministry International.

It is an organization, a Christian organization that helps to organize mission teams.

That's the way we're able to bring some of our friends from this church and other places, including George and others.

And uh this ministry is growing.

So that's Tanzania.

You can see Kenya on the eastern uh northeast of Africa, then Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique.

I travel around all those countries, but I reside in Tanzania, the capital city, which is Dareslam.

We have in this uh map, as you see, more than 20 regions.

So as we turned back, we are trying to get organized so that we can reach everybody strategically, not just throwing stones randomly.

So we are getting organized, and uh so we have divided Tanzania in six provinces right now.

We have Eastern Province, next.

Eastern province, which includes Lindi, Mtuara, Dareslam, and Puani.

Next, then we have northern province, which is Arusha, Krimanjaro and Tanga.

Then we have central province, which is Manyara, Singhida, Dodoma, uh Morogoro, uh next.

Then we have uh Lake Victoria, which is uh Mara, Kagera, and we have um uh Muanza in the middle, where Sister Lubara comes from.

I've seen Stella, I think it's you, Stella, and Shinyanga next.

That's uh Western province, which is Kigoma, Tabora.

We have new regions, Rukwa and Katavi.

Then we have the last one, which is northern, uh southern province, that's where I come from.

Mbea, Iringa, Njombe, and Luvuma.

And all those six provinces, we want to establish at least um a base in each of them.

I travel around the country, but it's like we are just trying to do things without a strategy.

So this is a strategy we are taking now.

In the wrestlam, that's where I am with my family.

This is the like the main center.

That's where our training place is for pastors.

Next.

Next.

You see, this when we return to Tanzania, the faces don't look happy.

I put that picture on on purpose.

That was 2005.

Everybody's like, where are we now?

After staying in the States for seven years, our children had forgotten everything, and uh, the last one was born here, so she didn't know anything.

So everybody looks sad except me.

Next, you can see now this is a picture we took right before we left.

Looks completely different.

Somebody had to make a decision, no matter what.

Yes, we are sad, yes, we are not happy, yes, we didn't have enough.

In fact, when I left here, I had only$400 in my pocket.

And God told me it is time to go.

I graduated in in May, I left in June.

That's when we you came with me, I think.

Was that here or this?

I came the second year of Angel.

Oh, okay.

Okay, so the second year.

Okay, now you can see faith works.

The faces have changed now.

They see some hope.

The little baby is no longer a baby.

Hope is taller than me.

That's Ben, that's mama, that's lightness.

All of them are very smart in school, they are doing real well.

The teachers are proud of them.

They call me once in a while.

Recently, they gave us a little discount on lightness because of her high performance in school.

She's a leader, she's just an exhorter, she does many things.

So they said we're gonna give you a discount because of a gift to our school.

So we we are proud of uh the family and what God is doing through uh this beautiful family.

Next.

This is the first team that came to Tanzania 2000.

That's Pastor Barry Bruce.

They don't look the same.

If you see them now, they look completely different.

Brother George went the following year.

I was looking at the pictures.

He looks very young, energetic, strong.

So we are changing.

If there's anything to do, you have to do it when now.

There are people who like to postpone.

I'm gonna do tomorrow, I'm gonna pray tomorrow, I'm gonna preach tomorrow, I'm gonna do this tomorrow, brother.

Do it now, do it now, redeem time.

Somebody has to do something now.

Don't talk about tomorrow.

The past is history, the future is mystery, the present is yours.

What you are given is the now.

Next.

Pastors were very happy.

This little African present to the pastor who brought the first team.

In fact, those were good messengers.

When they came back, they told the good story about Africa.

Some things that you hear is not true.

They live in trees, they they act like monkeys.

It sounds silly, but when you go there, you see it's not as developed as America, but it's not all that that you hear.

Sometimes they over say some things, it's very dangerous over there.

Don't go over there.

Someone asked me yesterday, are you from where Ebola is?

No Ebola in Tanzania.

Ebola is in the West, West Africa, that's very far.

In fact, there's people, there are people who are suffering from Ebola in the States.

But we don't have one in Tanzania.

So that's very interesting.

Okay, next.

Okay, that's that's the vision that we have evangelism and missions.

That's what we do every day.

Training for pastors, church planting, minister to the needy.

That's what we do every day.

Whatever we have is not ours, we share with the people who need to get that, whether it is the gospel, spiritual, or physical need.

Next, that's a sample of the meetings that we do.

We just set up the equipment, do advertisement.

He preached with me one time.

People are asking about you.

What is that powerful preacher?

I told them he's coming.

I don't know when, but we did one with Pastor Dan.

It was powerful.

Next, that's some of the small meetings that we do, depending on the resources and where we are.

Go ahead.

Training for pastors.

So that's that's uh educational building that we have started building through the help of your church.

Maybe you didn't know about it.

We've been working on that for it was maybe five, six years now.

We are praying that God will help us to finish it.

Want to put a beautiful classroom, um, desks for pastors to you see the I'm training pastors.

Pastors there, they write on apps, no desks, no what that's a church auditorium.

But the other building is the one for the training for pastors.

So we are praying that God will make a way for us to get finance to finish it.

That's another classroom there.

That's a pastor conference we did in June.

Next, that's another picture of the pastor's conference.

You see, good number of pastors.

They know what I do, so when I tell them I have a training, they don't go to every pastor.

They pick if they know what you are doing, what you are teaching, that's when they come.

There are bishops there, church leaders.

That's our first graduation.

We did it in January.

Brother Danny, we started training with him.

So this first class, the graduate in January this year.

We had 20.

We started with 45, 50 students.

Some of them didn't make it.

They dropped off in the way, but I kept doing it.

So this endured to the end.

So we had a very, very good celebration for them, and they were very happy.

Next.

So we do church planting, as I said.

Um, that's our first church we planned when we went back home.

That's my church now.

That's where I am with Beatrice and my family.

It's like the operation center, and our training building is adjusted to that building.

It's same place.

Next.

That's one of the branches we uh started last year.

We are putting up a shelter.

Next.

So that's the shelter.

Now we put the poles and the roof, no walls.

People are worshipping in that building already.

Next.

Next.

This is our hope center.

We built this long time ago in 2000.

We started in 2002, finished in 2003.

In 2003, that's the way it looked.

But we made some improvement.

That's the building the way it was in 2010.

Next, that's the same place.

We are doing um medical mission.

Many people got born.

Every year we do a medical mission, like this year we treated more than 500 people.

Every year we do that.

So we brother David was there one time, he helped us with evangelism section.

We we we we we offer physical needs, but also preach the gospel to them, and many come to Christ.

This year we had about maybe 50 or more.

Most of them were Muslims in Morogoro who came to Christ through a medical mission ministry.

Next.

That's a small school that Beatrice is teaching.

We started a school in the same same place.

So some of them were orphans, the rest are not.

We put them together.

We don't I we don't want to isolate um orphans.

And uh we are praying that that school will continue and grow.

Next, next, next, next, next.

That's what the Beatrice is doing.

Next, she loves the children and the women.

That's where her heart is.

Next, next, next, next.

That is a my god, Maasai.

You see them on uh on TV.

We have them on the ground.

They are good gods, they don't compromise.

When you tell them you guard this, make sure nobody takes it, that's what they do.

So we like them.

Very strict.

Next, that's our biggest challenge, heresy, especially especially prosperity gospel.

Things, temporary stuff, and that is very going everywhere in Africa.

Those guys have money, they just do big meetings, they do a lot of stuff, but what they preach is not real the gospel.

So there's the biggest problem, and uh, some bishops ask me all the time, Dr.

do something about it.

I think instead of talking on TV trying to correct it, it helps when we train pastors.

That's it, that's the key.

Yeah, teach them the truth.

This is the gospel, and it's working.

Islam is one of the problems, poverty.

Sometimes we start churches.

I told you, we start churches every year, at least five.

We could do more, but people worship in open fields, in homes.

We cannot get funds to maybe build a shelter or do something concerning the uh worship places.

That's the last one.

Okay, can you stand up with me, stretch a little before I preach to you?

It's okay if you stand after reading, then you sit down.

2nd Kings chapter 5.

I've just started using reading glasses.

Things change, brother.

I was not like this ten years ago.

More gray hair.

No hair.

No hair.

Things are changing.

So don't waste your time.

Let's read from 2 Kings chapter 5.

2 Kings 5 · chapter mention

I'm gonna read just a few verses here.

Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and in his favor, because of him, the Lord had given victory to Syria.

He was a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper.

But he was but means contrary.

There's a problem here.

He was a leper.

Now the Syrians on one of their raids had carried off a little girl from the land of Israel, and she worked in the service of Naaman's wife.

She said to her mistress, Would that my lord were with the prophet who is in Samaria?

He would kill him of his leprosy.

So Naaman went and went and told his Lord, Thus and so spoke the girl from the land of Israel.

And the king of Syria said, Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel.

So he went, taking with him the ten talents of silver, six thousand of shekels of gold and ten changes of clothing, and he brought the letter to the king of Israel, which read, When this letter reaches you, know that I have sent to you Naaman my servant, that you may cure him of his leprosy.

And when the king of Israel read this letter, he tore his clothes and said, Am I God to cure and to make alive that this man sends word to me or to cure a man of his leprosy?

Only consider and see how he is seeking a quarrel with me.

But when Elisha, the man of God, heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, he sent the king saying, Why have you torn your clothes?

Let him come to me, that he may know that there is a prophet in Israel.

So Naaman came with his horses and chariots and stood at the door of Elisha's house.

And Elisha sent a messenger to him.

He didn't go, remember, he sent a messenger to him saying, Go and wash in the Jordan River seven times, and your flesh shall be restored, and you shall be clean.

But Naaman was angry and went away, saying, Behold, I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call upon the name of the Lord his God, and wave his hand over the place of and kill me.

And not Abanah and Falpal, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel, could I not wash in them and be clean?

So he returned and went away in rage.

But his servants came near and said to him, My father, it is a great word the prophet has spoken to you.

Will you not do it?

Has he said to you, Wash and be clean?

So he went down and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, and according to the word of the man of God, and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a child of a little child, and he was clean.

Father God, we pray that you speak to us today.

We need you more than anything.

Illuminate our minds, open our eyes to see not people like trees walking.

Help us to see clearly what you have for us to see.

We need you, Jesus.

In Jesus' name, amen.

I have a simple question to you this morning.

Are you a messenger of good news?

Or you're just there thinking there's nothing that you can do.

Are you a messenger of good news?

In this story, we read about the Syrians who were the enemies of Israel until today.

You see what they are doing, they will never be friends.

They have never been friends, but it's amazing how the love of God covers us all.

God is children and God is enemies.

His love is everywhere, his love is everlasting.

Number one, we are surrounded by people in need wherever we are.

Wherever we are, people look healthy and wealthy on the outside.

They are sick and poor in the inside.

Sometimes we look for whom to blame, just like everybody else, or the disciples of Jesus.

In John chapter 1, chapter 9, verse 1 through 4.

John 1 · chapter mention

Jesus passed by and he saw a man born blind.

And his disciples asked him, Who sinned this man or his parents?

Here they are looking for somebody to blame.

This is called retribution theology for theologians.

If you have a problem, there's somebody to blame.

Something wrong somewhere.

It is not all the time like that.

Jesus answered, It was not that this man sinned or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him.

But we must work the works of God who has sent me while it is day.

Because darkness is coming, the night is coming.

We must do it now.

And Jesus spit on the ground, did something, and healed the blind.

All the disciples were amazed because they thought Jesus could tell them whether the parents made a mistake or the blind person.

When you see a problem somewhere, it's not time for you to look for whom to blame.

Sometimes people look like they are full, but they are hungry in the inside.

They are desperate.

They need some good news that will change their lives.

That's why you see people getting sick all the time.

Heart failures, ulcers, heart attack, headaches.

People are getting frustrated all the time.

When you drive on your street, try to look around when people are passing by with fancy cars.

They just talk by themselves.

Yes, expensive car, expensive house.

That is not all.

There's a spiritual hunger that is eating them up.

They need somebody to tell their story.

Somebody to cry out.

There is a prophet in Israel.

Number two?

Everyone of us, everyone of us have a message to share.

You do not need to be a pastor.

You don't need to be an expert, eloquent, educated, a person in a big position.

What you have inside is what people are looking for.

You have the message to share with somebody.

Think about Nehemiah.

Nehemiah was not a prophet or a pastor, he was just a cupbearer.

Taking care of the king.

That's it.

But the zeal developed in his heart.

He asked about his family members, his brothers and sisters back in Judah.

Remember the story?

He didn't just sit there and enjoy himself.

He did something about it.

He prayed, fasted and prayed.

God gave him favor.

He went back to Israel and built the war within a few days, and the wars were up.

The Bible says there were people who tried to oppose them.

There were people who tried to discourage them.

Whenever you're doing something good for the kingdom of God, don't expect people to just support you and clap hands on you.

I go through that all the time.

They look down on you, they talk bad on you, they discourage you.

They have tried to kill me several times.

Some have tried to put poison on my food, on my tea, and my just to kill me.

I told you a story about these bandits, the thieves that came into my house.

That happens all the time.

I don't have time to share about those things.

I'm here to encourage you that God brought you here for a purpose.

This is not a club.

This is a church.

And Jesus said, I'll build my church and the games of Hades shall never prevail against it.

God Himself will be building his church.

Can you part be a part of what God is doing?

Or you'll be just a spectator.

God has no favoritism, he's no respecter of persons.

You may be born again two, three days ago, last month.

Maybe some of us have been in church for 20 years.

That has nothing to do with what God can do through you.

Some people are very used to God's fire, God is presence, the blessing.

They take it for granted.

His message is new every morning, his love is new every morning.

You must be like a baby, expecting new things, new blessing, new revelation, new understanding from him.

Never get used to God.

God wants you to be like a baby.

Relying in him totally.

Believing in him.

We call it past this in Greek.

Relying totally in him.

God wants to use somebody.

God can do anything.

He's looking around everywhere to see if there's somebody he can trust and use.

But many times he doesn't see those people.

You look at your inadequacies, your weaknesses.

I don't have money.

I'm not educated.

I told you I went back to Tanzania with$400 in my pocket.

That could do nothing.

I'm telling you, life was very difficult.

You saw the picture of my family.

Sometimes my wife could say, hey preacher, is this the way we are going to live?

Pretty difficult.

I told her and my children, I serve a living God.

I love the song, My God is not dead.

No expandate.

He is the same.

If you doubt him, I don't.

Because I have seen him performing miracles.

Long time ago, I was suffering from asthma.

Very sick.

About to die.

I read scriptures.

Ask anything in my name.

John 14, 13 and 14.

I will do it.

That was the end of my sickness.

If you don't believe on the power of God, that's up to you.

Maybe Africa cannot be a good place for you to go.

Because you face a lot of things that your education, your money cannot take care of, cannot solve.

Only God can do it.

I've seen a lot of things that God has been doing in my life, in my children's life, in my wife's life.

God has done a lot of things that my language cannot utter and narrate and explain.

I just kneel down and cry and tell him thank you.

When I heard that our friend Benji was sick, I told my congregation, we need to pray for this young man.

I'm very happy today to see him singing, praising the Lord and serving God.

My friend, Jesus wants to use you.

Every one of us have a message to tell.

Prepare the atmosphere for the message to grow at your workplace in your family.

Most of us cannot tell somebody because you know the way you behave.

Your attitude, your behavior.

You must create an atmosphere.

That's why Paul writes to the Colossae Church.

Servants obey your masters.

Wives, obey your husbands.

Husbands love you.

Make sure wherever you are, in your home, in your workplace, the atmosphere allows you.

It must be conducive.

It must be a way that you can find some place, some room to plant a seed.

Don't destroy your own ground for the gospel.

Think about this girl.

She was a slave.

I told you, Syrians were the enemies of Israel.

And Naaman was the captain, was the leader of the army of Syria.

And he was very brave.

He knew what he wanted to do.

Make sure he wins the battle.

They went out.

They won the battle.

And they took this girl a slave.

I was trained as a soldier for three years, so I know how that works.

When you attack and overthrow your enemy, normally in the army, there are a lot of things that happen.

Mistreatments.

She's lonely in a foreign place, a foreign country.

Remember, these are their enemies.

She is there.

The Bible does tell us a lot of things that she went through, but uh according to the experience that I I have, the way the army operates, she was mistreated.

Sometimes even rape is involved.

Beatings involved.

Many things, a lot of intimidations.

No wonder.

This girl was mistreated in many ways.

She's in a foreign country.

In Syria, the enemies of God.

She was there working every day, working up, sweeping, cleaning the house.

But she looked at Naiman.

She said, Yes, I am a slave.

I'm poor.

I don't have money.

I'm a stranger here in Syria.

But I know I have God, Yahweh, the living God, the creator of heaven and earth.

He doesn't have that.

I have something he is missing.

He is a leper.

In Israel, there is God.

In my life, there is God.

I cannot just sit down and cry.

Yes, I'm a slave.

I don't have anything.

No money, no education.

Maybe I should escape, go somewhere else, do something about, oh, hang myself, kill myself.

No, she looked for an opportunity to share the good news.

She created an atmosphere.

That means she was respectful in house.

She was a hard worker in house.

She respected the master and the maid.

They all loved her.

That's why.

Because they knew who she was.

And God used her to bring healing and deliverance in home.

The love of God will be displayed through people who are ready to serve Him.

To even those who are the very enemies of God.

God is looking for somebody who can obey and listen to Him.

Naaman is in Samaria.

The king of Israel gets the letter.

He didn't know that Elisha could do that.

He tore his clothes.

And the Bible says, Elisha told the king, hey king, don't do that.

Don't get frustrated.

Just bring Naaman to me.

The Bible says Naaman goes to Elisha's place.

Elisha didn't go and touch him.

He didn't do that.

He just sent a messenger.

But sometimes when we pray and want God to answer our prayers in a certain way, we are very particular on what we want God to do for us.

Do you think every time God answers our prayers our way?

Jesus is a big of you.

He created you in your mother's womb.

He knows you.

He knows you.

He knows me.

Matter of fact, he knows you better than you know yourself.

He knows what is better for us.

He sends a messenger, and Naaman was a commander, a fander, called them a fander in the army.

Just sends the messenger.

You go tell Naaman to go to River Jordan and dip himself seven times.

What is that?

Does he know that I'm the commander of the army of Syria?

Yeah, he knows that.

No, go go go back and tell him the one who is outside is the leader of the whole army of Syria.

He said, Yeah, I know about that.

You go to River Jordan, dip yourself seven times.

God is looking for obedience.

It will take you a long time to pass your test if you fail.

You'll be taking your test over and over because God is not in a hurry.

You'll take it till you pass.

Yeah, until you pass.

He is a just God.

He will wait until you pass.

You'll be taking the same.

If you go through the same temptation over and over, it means you are not passing the test.

If you argue the same way with your wife, with your husband, and you don't get an answer.

In America, they say it is madness through the same thing of and of expecting different results.

You know that.

So if you go through the same thing, same test means you are not passing the test.

Change the way you do it, improve your status, raise above the ordinary level of a Christian.

God wants to go up, pray more, love him more, forgive your enemies, come to church, give your tithe, read your Bible.

God wants to get us straight.

We must be obedient to him.

If we don't do that, a ten days' journey of Israel took them 40 years because they were fading the test.

Unbelief and disobedience.

Unbelief and disobedience.

So Naaman's advisors tell him, Master, this is easy.

Forget about Abanan, Falpa, Reed Rivers, and Damaski.

Go and dip yourself and get clean.

That's easy.

He didn't like the idea, but he listened to his advisors.

Sometimes it's good to listen to your advisors.

Some of us men, women, don't listen to our wives until we get in trouble.

Praise the Lord.

You don't listen to every advice, but there are some good advice that can risk us from danger.

Listen to a good advice.

Think about it.

Especially your spouse, your closest people, the people who cry with you.

There are people who clap on you when you are happy, when you are okay.

When you go through some difficult situations, they run from you.

They say, We never knew him.

It's like Peter.

They will deny you.

But there are people that will stick close to you.

Listen to them to help you.

So Naiman listened to the advice.

He went to River Jordan, dipped himself seven times, and he was clean as a baby.

Hallelujah.

When I read these stories, I think about we Christians, how powerful we are, and we don't know the power that dwells within us.

Do you know that God, the Creator, lives within you?

When I think about this, I wake up at night and start praying and crying and laughing and singing, and sometimes my wife is like, Hey preacher, what are you doing today?

There's no way to comprehend the goodness and the power of God sometimes.

It's just amazing how He works in our lives.

Did we know that one day we'll have 90 acres?

Did we have money?

No, we didn't.

But our God, my God, shall supply all my needs according to His, not mine, not our.

His He never runs bankruptcy.

No bankruptcy.

No fluctuation.

Do we have economists in here?

His economy is stable.

He doesn't need Obama to operate.

He doesn't need Banke Moon to operate.

He is God, the sustainer of heaven and earth.

And that is my God.

When I think about that, it keeps me going.

Yes.

Let us obey him totally.

The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 10, 4 and 5, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal.

But have divine power to destroy strongholds.

We destroy arguments.

And every love, uh lovely opinions raised against the knowledge of God.

And take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal.

But they are strong, powerful to the pulling down the strongholds.

Did you know that?

This girl knew about this mystery.

She knew it.

Yes, look me down.

She's a slave, but I know better than that.

Yahweh lives within me.

There's power in my life.

Let us commit our lives to his service.

Let us obey him totally.

Let us be aware of the needs of the people around us.

Let us overcome intimidation.

Let it may hinder our service to our master.

Let us stand up firmly.

Often the people to Jesus, who is the only savior and the hope of the world.

Naaman was a general, but he was a leper.

The Girl was a messenger of good news.

We can do likewise.

If God healed Naaman, the enemy of Israel, he can heal us and the people who are around us from their pain, from their sufferings, sufferings, and use us to help others.

Even help our enemies to see who God is.

And they will even see his power, which is working in our lives.

He knows all the details of our lives.

Whatever you are doing for his kingdom, he is there.

He keeps records.

He will reward you.

You do it secretly, he will reward you openly.

Everybody will know that there is God in Israel.

That is the God that we serve.

May I charge you and encourage you and argue to love this God of Israel and serve him diligently.

Because he wants to use you for his glory.

Keep clean, serve him.

Read the Bible, pray daily.

Come to church.

Fellowship with brothers and sisters.

Never miss church like Didymus, Thomas.

Because if you miss church, you'll be like Thomas.

When Jesus appeared to his disciples, he was not there.

Jesus breathed on him.

They were filled with great joy.

He's not there.

He comes later.

They tell him, We have seen Jesus.

He said, No.

He was not there.

Jesus does not tell us the way he's going to show up or appear to us or manifest himself.

Every Sunday is a different Sunday.

Every service day is a different service day, it's a different one.

And God does a new thing every day for his church.

Don't miss church.

God wants to do something in our lives, and this is the high time for us to stand up and proclaim good things.
