  1. Welcome to this week's message from the church at Chelsea Westover.

  2. Our core values are vibrant worship, intimate fellowship, fulfilling service, and clear biblical truth.

  3. We pray that this message changes your life.

  4. Let's tune in to today's message and see what God has in store for you.

  5. Heavenly Father, God, we just thank you, Lord, for this day, Lord God.

  6. Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to speak to your people, God.

  7. God, I ask that I may decrease, God, and you increase, God.

  8. And God, we ask just to bless our brothers over in Paris, Lord God, for that devastating tragedy that happened, God.

  9. But you said in your word, you'll never leave us nor forsake us, Lord God.

  10. And we just praise and magnify you and lift you up in Jesus' name we pray.

  11. Amen.

  12. Amen.

  13. Well, it is an honor to be here today.

  14. I'd like to honor God for being here.

  15. First of all, it's truly a blessing being in the house of God.

  16. And this is a very, very special week.

  17. Like Pastor Danny said, I'd like to give honor to Pastor Danny and his beautiful wife in her absent.

  18. And it is truly a blessing that they have been married 34 years.

  19. Church, let's give them a round of applause.

  20. And I'd like to honor my wife, Miss Kelly.

  21. I have two daughters in North Carolina, and my two sons are here.

  22. Now, this is a little different for me today.

  23. Usually I get into praise mode like prior to preaching, but I really enjoyed the tribute they gave to the veterans.

  24. I didn't know to march or to preach.

  25. I get up and start marching.

  26. When I hear that music, I'm just I'm very patriotic.

  27. It just does something to me.

  28. And I honor all the veterans that are here today, too.

  29. I honor you.

  30. It's true, little blessing to be here.

  31. And I'm very thankful that I'm here because there are a lot of veterans that are not here.

  32. They actually gave their life to serve this great country of ours.

  33. And just like Pastor Dan had said now, a lot of times we take freedom as a privilege.

  34. Freedom isn't free.

  35. That's right.

  36. It's an awesome price been paid.

  37. An awesome price been paid.

  38. And they paid it with blood.

  39. They paid it with blood.

  40. Now, just like all salvation, it was an awesome price paid.

  41. And it was paid with blood.

  42. Today that's what we're gonna talk about.

  43. The life is in the blood.

  44. But before I go into the word, I always like to keep up with current events.

  45. And I like Pastor Dana, it was just amazing.

  46. You know, you read the Bible ever since I was a small boy, I always heard these are the last days.

  47. These are the last days.

  48. And and and some people try to give you the Pacific date, and we know the Bible tells us that no man knows the date.

  49. But there are signs.

  50. So when you look at Matthew, the 24th chapter, it talked about, it's it speaks about wars and rumors of wars and lawlessness.

  51. In America now, we're having that.

  52. Not only in America, but in the world.

  53. And as a result of that, not only did we have the bombing that was in Paris, but we also just had an airplane in Russia.

  54. It hadn't even been two weeks that's blown up.

  55. 250 some people were killed.

  56. Even here in America, we had a shooting, and if I correct me if I'm wrong, the last shooting, the killer lined the people up and he asked them.

  57. Uh, some of the reports say, Are you a Christian?

  58. And if they said they was a Christian, he killed them on the spot.

  59. Now, the last thing that happened with with with all this killing and turmoil, even in the church, I think that was like back in May, we had an incident back in May, where a young man came in, they was having a prayer meeting.

  60. And at the end of the prayer meeting, he commenced to shoot everybody.

  61. Now, if you listen to all this, you say, Wow, things are really bad.

  62. And I mean, you could get upset, actually, you could get frightened, but we don't have to.

  63. We don't have to.

  64. Because the Bible said, Great is he that is in us than he is in the world.

  65. The reason we don't have to is by the blood I'm gonna ready to talk about today.

  66. That life is in the blood.

  67. The life is in the blood.

  68. Now, my main scripture I'll be coming from is Leviticus, the 17th chapter, and 11th verse.

  69. Leviticus 17 and 11.

  70. And it reads, For the life of flesh is in the blood.

  71. I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls.

  72. For it is the blood that makes the atonement for the soul.

  73. Now, the first thing I want to talk about, blood, I know we have some small people in here.

  74. I want to talk about blood from the natural standpoint.

  75. Blood is a red liquid substance that circulates in the arteries, veins, and capillaries, and other verbal animals.

  76. It carries oxygen and carbon dioxide from the tissue of the body.

  77. Now, blood cells are produced in the bone marrow.

  78. The average male has about 10 pints of blood.

  79. The average woman has in with eight to ten pints.

  80. Now, 7% of our weight, our body weight, is from blood.

  81. And if you lose too much blood, death will occur.

  82. Now, speaking of the military, I know one of the classes they taught us was how to plow a tourniquet.

  83. That's like if a person on a battlefield and he starts bleeding profusely.

  84. And in fact, if you know you bleed too much, death will occur.

  85. So they taught us how to plow a tourniquet, and that's a technique where you can stop the bleeding as soon as possible.

  86. Now, a lot of times when you do stop the bleeding, you have to have a blood transfusion to give them some more blood.

  87. You got to have a blood transfusion because you got to have enough blood to live.

  88. And a blood transfusion is a safe and a common procedure in which blood is given through you, through an IV, in one of the blood vessels.

  89. And they're done to replace lost blood.

  90. And it happens a lot in the battlefield.

  91. Happen a lot in the battlefield.

  92. But actually, humanity needed a blood transfusion.

  93. Humanity needed a blood transfusion.

  94. And we're going to talk about that in a few about the blood transfusion that the humanity needed.

  95. Each year, over five million Americans get blood transfusion.

  96. Now, most people go to Red Cross and donate blood annually.

  97. Now, before I talk about the spiritual side of blood, though, I'm going to ask a couple rhetorical questions.

  98. Why can't man manufacture blood?

  99. Why can't we make blood?

  100. Why can't man make blood?

  101. Why can't we create life?

  102. Now you think about man, especially in the last couple years, and it's actually one of the uh prophecies that technology was going to be really advanced at the end times.

  103. That's an old testament.

  104. But if you think about it, now we send a men to the moon.

  105. We have advancement now in communication.

  106. We have advancement in transportation.

  107. We have advancement all over places, all different places.

  108. Look at the internet.

  109. But we still haven't been able to manifest the blood.

  110. We haven't been able to manifest the blood.

  111. Now, let's talk about.

  112. Let's go back since we're talking about blood.

  113. Let's go back to the creations.

  114. Let's go to Genesis.

  115. Let's go back to Genesis.

  116. Genesis, the first chapter and 26 verse.

  117. And it reads, And God said, Let us make man in our own image and after our likeness.

  118. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over the cattle and over all the earth and other creeping things that creep it upon the earth.

  119. Here, God only makes a spirit.

  120. He said, Let us make man in our own image.

  121. But he's talking about only the spirit.

  122. That's the only thing that was created of in the first chapter in the 26th verse.

  123. His spirit.

  124. Let's go to Genesis 2 and 7.

  125. Genesis 2 and 7, it says, And the Lord formed man.

  126. And the Lord formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life.

  127. And it became a living soul.

  128. So when he breathed into his nostrils, it was just dirt first, just dirt.

  129. And then he breathed into his nostrils.

  130. And it became a living soul.

  131. But when he breathed into his nostrils, he bleed it.

  132. He also breathed blood.

  133. That's what life was in.

  134. It was in that blood.

  135. And that's what gave it life.

  136. The blood.

  137. The blood.

  138. Now see, man can make blood.

  139. Man can't make blood.

  140. I'm sorry.

  141. Man knows what's created.

  142. What substances are in blood, but they can't manufacture blood.

  143. They study it, they know the color, they know all the ingredients.

  144. But they can't make it.

  145. And the one reason they can't make it, because it's life.

  146. It's in that blood.

  147. Now some of y'all not convinced.

  148. I can tell by the way you're looking at me.

  149. You're not convinced.

  150. So let's go to Acts, the 17th chapter, and the 24th through the 25th verse.

  151. It speaks of God giving life to all.

  152. That's what it says in Acts 17 and 24.

  153. God is the one that gives life, nobody else.

  154. Now, because of this blood, so that's where we get the blood from in the spirit.

  155. And I thought about Brother Jeremiah.

  156. Jeremiah in the first chapter in the fifth verse, God said, Before I formed you, I knew you.

  157. He knew his spirit.

  158. He knew his spirit.

  159. So he knew him before he even birthed out of his mama's womb.

  160. That's just like you and I.

  161. He knew us because he formulated our spirit first.

  162. It's a principle.

  163. It's spiritual first and then the natural.

  164. Now, as we know, Adam is the progenitor of all human race.

  165. Now we all know about his sin.

  166. Well, actually, he tried to blame it on Eve, but he was the head and he's the one that's charged with sinning.

  167. But as a result of that, Adam passed sin down to the rest of the world.

  168. It said Romans 5 and 12, whereby as one man's sin entered into the world, and death by sin.

  169. And so death passed into all men's, for all have sinned.

  170. Wait a minute, I want to make sure I said it because some people don't think they've sinned.

  171. For all have sinned.

  172. Now, as a result of that, man died spiritually because God is a holy God.

  173. Now, prior to the fall, he had perfect communion with Adam.

  174. But after the fall, he died spiritually.

  175. And result of that, there were consequences.

  176. And like I say, he passed death down to his kids.

  177. And that made us, we had to, before then, we didn't have to work.

  178. That was one of the curse.

  179. We have to work now.

  180. That's why, as a man and woman, we definitely need to work.

  181. Okay, speaking of the Old Testament, I was reading something by Saint Augustine, and he said, the New Testament is the Old Testament concealed.

  182. The Old Testament is the New Testament revealed.

  183. Basically, what I'm saying, you know, like when you first get saved, everybody enjoys reading the New Testament.

  184. You start in the Old Testament just like Leviticus, the book of law.

  185. You get all them do's and does, and you don't understand all that.

  186. But it's important that you go back and read the Old Testament because it is foreshadowing and typos of Jesus Christ.

  187. Everything in the Old Testament is pointing to Jesus, our Savior.

  188. Everything in the Old Testament.

  189. So even go again, I want to go back to Leviticus 17, 11.

  190. It said, for the life of the flesh is in the blood.

  191. Now we establish that the life is in the blood.

  192. There's no doubt about it.

  193. In that mysterious agent called blood, that life, even though we put in the Bible, but it's got to have blood.

  194. The B clause said, and I have given upon you the altar to make atonement for your soul.

  195. Let's talk about the word atonement.

  196. Atonement.

  197. Atonement means that it carries the idea that just holy.

  198. God has a righteous side.

  199. He has a righteous side.

  200. And so what that's saying is God's law requires a penalty for sin.

  201. So man's sin.

  202. And so it's a penalty that has to be paid.

  203. And so that's when it was introduced with atonement.

  204. It's actually in Genesis the third chapter, talking about uh sacrificing animals.

  205. We'll come back to that later.

  206. But that's what dealing with atonement is.

  207. And the principle is a life for a life.

  208. Or a sacrifice for a life.

  209. Because once someone sinned, blood has to be shed.

  210. But now the thing about atonement, I want to make sure you understand this.

  211. The thing about atonement is strictly about it just covers sin.

  212. And it was temporal.

  213. It was temporal.

  214. It wasn't permanent.

  215. It wasn't permanent at all.

  216. Now, one of the things I also talked about atonement is that it's an innocent life.

  217. Think about an innocent life and somebody giving the innocent self for somebody that's guilty.

  218. Now that sounds like something I heard of the gospel.

  219. For an innocent person gave up some for somebody that's guilty.

  220. A innocent person.

  221. It said, for when we will die straight in due time, Christ died for the ungodly.

  222. For scarcely, for a righteous man will die.

  223. Yet, preaventure, for a good man, some should dare to die.

  224. Now at this time I want to go to the tabernacle.

  225. Because I told you we had animal sacrifices in the Old Testament.

  226. It was my animal sacrifices and all what they did.

  227. You have my picture.

  228. Okay, it's up there.

  229. Okay.

  230. Now we're going to go through the tabernacle real quick.

  231. And what the tabernacle was in the Old Testament, it was a movable tent.

  232. And God desired to dwell among his people, the children of Israel.

  233. And that's basically what they had church at.

  234. And it was the center point of their movement when they moved.

  235. It was the focal point.

  236. And actually, God would come down and dwell with his people.

  237. And they made a sacrifice there for their sins.

  238. And this was done annually.

  239. For us, the high priest going in.

  240. Now, the high priest, you look at it, it's two courts here.

  241. Now you had the outer court and the inner court.

  242. Now the outer court, all the different types of priests could go in there.

  243. The outer court.

  244. It had seven pieces of furniture in it.

  245. And as we know, seven is God's number for completeness.

  246. It's perfection.

  247. It's perfection.

  248. Our body is set up the same, but we have seven holes in our head.

  249. There are seven bones in our neck.

  250. It's a lot of things dealing with seven.

  251. Even down to the birth of a lady having a baby.

  252. It's 280 days.

  253. So that's intervals of seven.

  254. So they mean God's complete number.

  255. But in that main uh big one they have, it's the inner court.

  256. And that's where everything was at.

  257. That's where the focal point was at.

  258. The ark of the covenant was in there.

  259. The ark of the covenant.

  260. And this was big.

  261. They made sacrifice on the outside, the other priests, but the ark of the covenant was in there.

  262. And the ark of the covenant, let me tell you what it consists of, what it had in the Ark of the Covenant.

  263. It had the Ten Commandments, which basically was the law.

  264. It had a rod, the one Aaron used when he was out in the wilderness.

  265. And it also had manna, which represented God would provide and food.

  266. But it also had the mercy seat.

  267. His mercy endured forever.

  268. It had the mercy seat.

  269. And we got to thank God for that mercy seat.

  270. That mercy seat was symbolic of his divine presence.

  271. That means he would come and reside.

  272. Just like we're coming to the church now.

  273. That mercy seat.

  274. Now, when we talk to God now, it's totally different.

  275. But then he came upon that mercy seat.

  276. And when he came upon him, you had to be right when you go before God.

  277. You could not go before God without blood.

  278. You had to have blood.

  279. And so only the high priest was authorized to go in this room.

  280. Only the high priest.

  281. He had to be clean.

  282. In fact, he had to wash for seven days.

  283. Back to that seven again.

  284. Had to make sure he was clean.

  285. Then he took a lamb.

  286. And the lamb had to be perfect.

  287. A perfect lamb.

  288. And he had to go inside.

  289. The whole is the holies.

  290. And he had to sprinkle the mercy seat seven times.

  291. And he had to do it that way.

  292. Everything about this tabernacle had to be doing a certain pattern.

  293. Now let me tell you why the pattern had to be like this.

  294. Remember, I told you everything is done in the spiritual first and then natural.

  295. Now we know when Moses went on top of the hill, he got the Ten Commandments.

  296. Most Bible people know about that.

  297. But what they don't know is he also got the pattern for the tabernacle.

  298. And God showed him the pattern.

  299. He said, now here's the pattern.

  300. And the tabernacle has to be made exactly like I showed you.

  301. So I know you're a smart man, but you can't deviate.

  302. It's just like you and I.

  303. When God give us instructions, God wants you to do it the way He said, do it.

  304. I know you're smart.

  305. You've been to college, you matriculated some of the finest institutions, but you want He wants you to do it His way.

  306. That's right not your way.

  307. So He gave him the pattern because this same pattern is in heaven.

  308. The same, it's a tabernacle in heaven.

  309. There are many, many prophets in the Old Testament say, I saw them sitting on the throne.

  310. They're sitting on the throne.

  311. So once he sprinkled, it was one thing about sprinkling though.

  312. He sprinkled, but it was only good for a year.

  313. So basically, everybody's sins were washed away.

  314. I mean, they were washed away.

  315. Once he sprinkled in the tabernacle on that mercy seat.

  316. But it was just for one year.

  317. The next year, he had to do the same thing.

  318. It's like that kind of going back in a circle.

  319. You had to do the same thing next year.

  320. And the next year.

  321. Go back and the next year.

  322. So that was just temporal.

  323. That was simply just a temporary fix.

  324. Let's fast forward to uh Hebrews 10 chapter and the fourth verse.

  325. Let's go to the New Testament.

  326. It reads.

  327. Okay, for the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually, year by year, make those who approach perfect.

  328. For then they would have ceased to be offered.

  329. For the worshipper, once purified, would have no conscience of sin.

  330. But in those sacrifices, there is a remainder of sin, there's a reminder of sin each every year.

  331. For it is possible that the blood of bulls or goats could not take away the sin.

  332. So basically, bottom line, the law, it was just foreshadowing what was to come.

  333. Because like I said, even though he sprinkled the mercy seat seven times, it was just a temporary fix.

  334. Every year, and every year they had to do the same thing, but what that made the people be, it's sin conscious.

  335. Now, a lot of people still living in that.

  336. They call the Old Testament, not necessarily the Old Testament, but it's it's it's by legalism.

  337. They sin conscious.

  338. If you save and understand the Bible, we don't have to be sin conscious because of what Jesus has already done on the cross.

  339. But it made them sin conscious.

  340. Sin conscious.

  341. But God didn't want them to be sin conscious.

  342. Let's go to John, the first chapter, and the 23rd verse.

  343. Got old John the Baptist.

  344. Everybody knows about John the Baptist now.

  345. Everybody knows about John.

  346. John was out in the wilderness, just crying out.

  347. He said, He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness.

  348. Make straight the way of the Lord.

  349. As the prophet Isaiah said.

  350. That's John 1.23.

  351. That's actually prophesied in Isaiah the fourth chapter in the third verse.

  352. But everybody familiar with the scripture here, it said, The next day John see it, Jesus coming unto him and said, Behold, the Lamb of God, which taketh away all the sins.

  353. The Lamb of God.

  354. That is to say, not of this building.

  355. Now, what it was talking about here is, you know, that other tabernacle was made with hands.

  356. Moses got the instruction, and the people made the tabernacle.

  357. The people made the tabernacle.

  358. But now it says the tabernacle is coming, not made with hands.

  359. And it was a high priest.

  360. And we know who that high priest was.

  361. We know who the high priest was.

  362. It was Jesus.

  363. Jesus was the high priest.

  364. He died on Calvary cross for you and me.

  365. Now let me tell you something I found really interesting about this lesson.

  366. I was studying.

  367. I had heard about the blood.

  368. Everybody talked about the blood, the power in the blood, and it's life in the blood.

  369. And I was like, okay, and I started studying.

  370. And we know our whole salvation is based off his death, burial, and resurrection.

  371. Everybody know about the virgin birth, right?

  372. Mary was a virgin.

  373. And how many fathers do we have in a race chain of your father?

  374. Okay.

  375. Now we know our kids love their mother and they should.

  376. I've been in the labor room before.

  377. When a kid says, I love you, mom, that they should.

  378. It is a God.

  379. If you ever go into the living room, it is a God.

  380. It is a God.

  381. Mom goes through a lot.

  382. But what I didn't know, when a baby is born, you know, mom and dad, we we we know about the sexual education class, come together with the egg and the sperm.

  383. I did not know that only the blood comes from the man.

  384. I did not know that.

  385. Now I know we got some small people.

  386. Go research it.

  387. Google it up.

  388. That blood, when a baby is formed, that blood only comes from the male.

  389. Only from the male.

  390. And that's very, very important dealing with this lesson.

  391. That's why this blood is so powerful.

  392. It only comes from the male.

  393. Now you even go back in Genesis.

  394. When God allowed Adam and Eve to have their first child, which was Cain.

  395. And Adam, you know, he had sinned, so the blood was passed down.

  396. It was corrupted blood.

  397. He passed it down to Cain.

  398. And we know it's corrupted because that's where the first murder happened too.

  399. In the first family, we had the first murder.

  400. Because Cain killed Abel.

  401. And it lets you know that blood is spiritual.

  402. What happened?

  403. Cain came back after he killed and he said, God asked him, Where is uh where's Abel?

  404. I don't know.

  405. He said, Am I my brother keeper?

  406. He said, Your blood speaketh.

  407. The blood was speaking from the ground.

  408. But the fact is from the dead, and let me tell you why it has to be from the dead.

  409. God knows the beginning from the ending.

  410. See, even in Genesis, he already know he was gonna send Jesus.

  411. When he created the law, he knew you and I couldn't live up to it.

  412. That's why there's no need to try to be self-righteous.

  413. Like me, I think I've told you before.

  414. I was delivered from alcoholism, and that's a blessing.

  415. I thank God for that.

  416. That is truly a blessing.

  417. Okay, so I'm strong in that area.

  418. But there's other areas I'm weak, and God's still working with me.

  419. And there's other areas that you're weak in.

  420. You have some strong areas that you don't have no problem.

  421. Satan cannot tempt you in those areas.

  422. But then you do have some areas where you can, because all have sinned.

  423. But getting back to this virgin birth, so God already knew that the blood had to come through the man.

  424. So what he did is when Jesus was born, everybody talk about the virgin.

  425. We got that.

  426. So when Jesus was born, you had the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

  427. But the Holy Spirit is the one impregnating Mary.

  428. So the blood, being that it just came from the man, he was impregnated by the Holy Spirit, which is God.

  429. And God is life.

  430. Now, because God is life, that made the blood be pure without a spot, without a blemish.

  431. See, Joseph Smith, his blood was contaminated.

  432. Buddha blood was contaminated, Muhammad's blood was contaminated, Isaiah blood was contaminated, Peter's blood was contaminated, your blood was contaminated.

  433. The only person was qualified was Jesus.

  434. Because what God has done.

  435. His blood was not contaminated.

  436. Go to Hebrews the second chapter in the 14th verse.

  437. 214.

  438. Hebrews 2.14.

  439. Because some of you still looking at me funny like I ain't never heard of that.

  440. I don't believe that.

  441. I didn't need it until I read it.

  442. Let's go to Hebrews uh 2.14.

  443. Okay.

  444. Are we there?

  445. Because I want everybody to be there on this one.

  446. Inasmuch then as the children had partaken of flesh and blood, he himself likewise shared in the same that through death he may destroy him who had power over death, and that is of the devil.

  447. Now the word I want to concentrate on is uh partakers.

  448. Now it's some fancy Greek word I'm not even gonna try to pronounce it, but I will tell you what this partaker means in the Greek.

  449. It's to share fully.

  450. Notice it says flesh and blood.

  451. So basically we're talking about children.

  452. They share their flesh and blood.

  453. Then it's a himself likewise shared the same.

  454. And it says part, take part of.

  455. Now that means only take part of it.

  456. And so Jesus only shared the flesh.

  457. And it was important he shared the flesh now.

  458. I told you about the blood, but let me tell you why he had to share the flesh.

  459. If you go back in the Old Testament, Brother David, who we loved, it had been prophesied that his seed was gonna sit on the throne.

  460. That David's seed.

  461. Only David's seed could do it, because see, even though Jesus was had royalty in heaven, he had to have royalty down here.

  462. Because he came through that lineage, he's authorized to be called kings of kings.

  463. So Mary was actually a descendant of David.

  464. And so that's fulfilled the flesh fulfillment.

  465. And so that's why Jesus' blood is so powerful.

  466. Now you have people now saying there are so many ways to get to God.

  467. They call it plurism.

  468. There are many ways to get to God.

  469. This is why Jesus said in John, the 14th chapter and the sixth verse.

  470. What did he say?

  471. Jesus said, I am the way.

  472. He didn't say I am one of the ways.

  473. He said, I am the way.

  474. The truth and the life.

  475. No man comes to the Father but by me.

  476. Now, some things are absolute.

  477. We need to know that in these times.

  478. I tell all my children everything, it's great to go and pursue a college education.

  479. That's wonderful.

  480. I'm proud of you.

  481. But the main thing is the main thing.

  482. You need to know about this blood.

  483. You need to know that life is in the blood.

  484. So when Jesus died on the cross, everybody knows about he dying on the cross.

  485. But that's why it's so powerful.

  486. That is the only entrance in to heaven.

  487. He's the bridge.

  488. Because we're always sinners.

  489. And without accepting his blood, we can't get in God's presence.

  490. We can't get in God's presence.

  491. And I want to be in his presence.

  492. Do you want to be in his presence?

  493. Now you go down to the end of uh John, and um Jesus actually had died.

  494. It talks about the crucifixion.

  495. And um the first person that saw him when he got up was Mary.

  496. This is what he said to Mary.

  497. Jesus said unto her, touch me not, for I have not ascended to my father.

  498. But go and tell my brethren that I said unto them, I ascend unto my father and your father and to my glow and to my God and to your God.

  499. Now this is very important.

  500. Let me tell you why he didn't want them to touch.

  501. He would have contaminated her.

  502. Jesus had to go someplace.

  503. See, a lot of people say, now, yes, I've heard this before in this religion.

  504. The finished work is at the cross.

  505. Yes, but it's another part to it.

  506. Jesus, remember I told you about that tabernacle?

  507. That the earthly tabernacle.

  508. They moved from north, south, east, and west.

  509. Jesus had to go to heaven.

  510. Had to go to that tabernacle.

  511. And that's the tabernacle that made the difference.

  512. That's the tabernacle that has me standing here.

  513. That's the tabernacle that on the outside that you as believers believe in.

  514. Because he went to the tabernacle up in heaven and peered before God with the mercy seat there.

  515. And he sprinkled that blood seven times so that you and I can have life.

  516. That's why it's life in the blood.

  517. And people said there's power.

  518. There's power.

  519. Power in the blood.

  520. That's why it's power in the blood.

  521. That's why it's power.

  522. His blood is different from every other blood that's shedded.

  523. We have a savior.

  524. We have a savior that loves us and he showed us that he loves us.

  525. The Bible said, all have sin.

  526. All have sin.

  527. So we got to accept Jesus today.

  528. For you to go to heaven, there's no other way.

  529. You have to accept Jesus.

  530. So you can look around, yes, they're getting killed in Paris, they're getting killed in church, but guess what?

  531. I told you it was a spirit first.

  532. And people don't preach, everybody preach about heaven.

  533. People don't preach about hell.

  534. Hell is real.

  535. Because actually, when Jesus died, I didn't tell you.

  536. He went to hell.

  537. But he took the keys away from the devil when he went to hell.

  538. He took it away.

  539. So hell is real, and I don't want to go.

  540. But the only way you don't go is accept this blood of Jesus.

  541. This is what John said in the eighth chapter and 24th verse.

  542. Jesus said, if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.

  543. I want to read again.

  544. Jesus said, if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.

  545. Basically, we have two choices.

  546. We believe in God and be saved, or disbelieve and go to hell.

  547. I don't want to go to hell.

  548. I am not going to hell.

  549. No, I am not going to hell.

  550. Hell is real.

  551. And I encourage you today to tell people about this gospel.

  552. Tell them about the good news.

  553. Tell them about the good news.

  554. Now that we know how powerful the blood is, let's talk about some areas that the blood can help us on our daily walk and understand even better.

  555. Matthew 26 and 28 talks about it remits our sin.

  556. Remember, I told you the atonement, it simply covered our sin.

  557. You know, that's I give you an example.

  558. Let's say you go to somebody's house and uh they got a big spot on the carpet.

  559. So I mean you can slide that chair down and cover that up.

  560. It's still there, but you don't see it.

  561. Now we talk about remittance.

  562. Oh no, he washed it.

  563. He washed it clean.

  564. He washed all sins clean.

  565. And that's powerful.

  566. That is powerful.

  567. So when we talk about forgiveness of sin, he forgave you of your past sin, your present sin, and your future sin.

  568. All because of that blood.

  569. There's life in the blood.

  570. See, it takes life for us to live in this physical life, but in the spiritual life, if we want to enjoy eternity, it's gonna take that blood.

  571. That's why it's life in the blood.

  572. There is life in the blood.

  573. You go to Romans 5 and 9, it justifies us and saves us from the wrath of God.

  574. I told you, hell is real.

  575. Because now, this is why sinners have to, why they um they have to go to hell.

  576. When a sinner hasn't pleaded the blood of Jesus, when God sees them, because of his judgment, he has to they had to pay the penalty.

  577. The Bible said the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.

  578. So when he sees them, if he don't see the blood of Jesus, he sees the sin.

  579. And because of sin, you can't get close to God.

  580. But with the blood, it's life in the blood.

  581. Those of us that are believers, when God sees us, he sees the blood of Jesus.

  582. So we authorized.

  583. We authorized to go boldly before the throne.

  584. That's another thing the blood does.

  585. We authorized to go into the throne.

  586. Remember, I told you only the high priest could go in.

  587. No, not anymore.

  588. You and I can go, your children can go, everybody can go.

  589. It doesn't matter if you're black, it doesn't matter if you're white, it doesn't matter if you're a Jew, it doesn't matter.

  590. It doesn't matter.

  591. That's why Pastor and Dan and we always talk about, you know, you look at the congregation.

  592. It's mixed.

  593. See, this blood.

  594. That's why there should be no racism.

  595. If you understood the gospel, you wouldn't worry about well, he's black, she's white.

  596. The blood is for everybody.

  597. The blood, the Jews and Gentiles, because Peter got it mixed up too.

  598. Peter thought it was just for the Jews.

  599. Yeah, Paul got him straight, Pastor.

  600. But the last thing the blood does, we talk about in Revelation, the 12th chapter and 11 verse.

  601. They overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony.

  602. Talking about the accusers in heaven trying to accuse us.

  603. And he he's in heaven trying to accuse you, you and you, and me too.

  604. But the word of God says, and they overcame him by the blood and the word of their testimony.

  605. That blood is powerful, people.

  606. That blood has power in it, it has life in it.

  607. There's nothing you can't do with the blood of Jesus.

  608. When I pray, I plead the blood over my family.

  609. I plead the blood over my children.

  610. I plead the blood over my job.

  611. I plead the blood everywhere.

  612. It's all about the blood.

  613. Everything in our life is about the blood.

  614. And the last thing I want to talk about is Hebrews 13 and 20.

  615. See, God is a covenant, God.

  616. That's just more no more than an agreement between man and God.

  617. But he made an eternal covenant with us with the blood of Jesus.

  618. It's eternal.

  619. We have eternal redemption.

  620. That's why if you get saved, I'm talking about not no church experience.

  621. I'm talking about allow the Holy Spirit to come on inside of you.

  622. The Bible says, if any man be in Christ, he's a new creature.

  623. Old things are passed away.

  624. Behold, all are new.

  625. So you shouldn't act the same.

  626. So if he comes in, it's eternal.

  627. It's eternal.

  628. It is eternal.

  629. Now, I'm getting ready to close, but I got one scripture I want to go over, which is the close.

  630. Now, I know we got some people here that brag and boast sometimes, and that's fine.

  631. But Jeremiah said like this.

  632. If you can, I don't think I gave it to you.

  633. Can you put this up?

  634. Jeremiah the ninth chapter, the 23rd through the 24th verse.

  635. Jeremiah 9, 23 through 24.

  636. Now, this is what y'all to brag about now.

  637. Not brag about your beautiful house, not brag about your family, or what school you matriculate at, how much money you got in the bank.

  638. If you're gonna brag, this is what you need to brag about.

  639. This is what the Lord said.

  640. Let not the wise boast of their wisdom, or the strong boast of their strength, or the rich boast of their riches.

  641. But let the one who boasts boast about they have understanding to know me.

  642. I'm gonna say that again.

  643. But let the one who boasts boast about this, that they have understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercise kindness, justice, and righteousness on earth.

  644. For in these I delight, declares the Lord.

  645. So if you're gonna brag or boast, brag or boast about you know Jesus.

  646. And you know that life is in the blood.

  647. Amen.

  648. I love you.
