The King is Coming

And turn with me this morning in your Bibles to Revelation chapter 19.

I don't know about you, but uh I need some light.

Amen.

No, no.

All right.

Now, I know.

Hey, I'm not getting older.

I'm getting wiser.

Thank you.

And God said, let there be light.

Amen.

But uh, all right, it's exciting today.

Let me tell you why.

How many of you believe the king is coming?

Now, a lot of people get confused about the two comings.

There are two comings in the Bible.

Coming number one, we saw in Revelation chapter four, verse one, which says, Rosamarie, y'all sitting too far back.

Y'all supposed to be up here.

But that's okay.

But hey, seriously, listen to me.

Listen to me.

Revelations chapter 4, verse 1, we see that the doors of heaven open.

Revelation 4:1

And we see really the typology there and the significance of the rapture of the church.

Chapter 4, Revelation chapter 4, the church is taken out in the rapture.

Jesus comes back for his church, but he doesn't come all the way back to the earth.

The church meets him in the air.

1 Thessalonians 4.

But now in chapter 19, we get to chapter 19.

And again, starting in Revelation 4, we've seen the planet Earth really actually after the rapture of the church, the planet earth is then goes into what we call the tribulational period for seven years that we talked about.

And the planet earth is ruined by men and ruled by Satan.

But in this message, and when we get to chapter 19, in this lesson, we'll see that the world is reclaimed back by Jesus Christ.

Can I get an amen?

And the Bible tells us we're not to know that day of return.

In fact, I want you to see this in, I think it's Matthew chapter 24, verse 36, and it says this in the introduction there in your outline.

In Matthew 24, verse 36, it literally says, Jesus is saying, No man knows the hour, not even me or the angels, but only the Father, but my Father only.

So it's important that you understand that.

The Bible, though, hey, and by the way, I love this statement here, only that we are to know for a certainty that it is going to happen.

And how do we know that?

We know that because 1,800, are you ready?

And 45 references in the Bible speak to the second coming.

Now remember, the first coming is the rapture of the church.

And by the way, once the rapture takes place, and we don't know when that's gonna take place, we just better be ready.

Can I get an amen?

In fact, uh, 1 Thessalonians 5, 2 says that the rapture will come as a thief in the night.

So you don't know when that's gonna take place.

But once it does, the prophetic calendar, I mean, the prophetic clock starts.

Then we know seven years after the rapture, the second coming of God is coming.

In other words, we know the second coming of God when he comes back and he touches down on Mount Zion.

And he rules for a thousand years.

But he comes back first and he takes care of business, he takes care of all, and we're gonna look at that at the end of this chapter.

He takes care of all the enemies of God.

And then we rule with him for a thousand years.

In fact, next week you don't want to miss, we're gonna look at the thousand-year, I call it the thousand-year party.

Where the lion lays down with the lamb.

Oh, what a thousand years feast it's gonna be.

And that's next week in chapter 20.

But here we see that the references of the second coming, listen to this, it is emphasized in 17 Old Testament books.

70% of the New Testament talks about not the rapture, but the second coming of God.

70%.

Hey, in fact, Christ Himself said he would return as did the angels who spoke to the apostles at Christ's ascension into heaven.

This hey, in fact, if you remember in Acts 1.19, he said, hey, why stand ye gazing up there, watching the Lord uh ascend?

He said, Don't you realize that just as he has ascended, he will descend?

The angel said, He's coming back.

But even though all these references, all this truth, hey, points to the second coming of God, we still have doubters.

I want you to see this in 2 Peter chapter 3, verse 4.

And it says, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming?

Even back then, they would say, Where is the hey, promise of his coming?

You said he's coming back.

Why hasn't he come back?

We hear that today.

Why hasn't he come back?

I don't, they don't believe that.

Well, Christ said his coming would be, now are you ready for this?

Matthew 24, 27.

He said it would be like a lightning from the east to the west.

It would be like a lightning.

Whew! You know, every once in a while I watched that channel of the weather and the tornadoes, and I was watching some of that yesterday in between the basketball games, and how dark the sky would get.

And then all of a sudden the lightning would just.

I mean, it'd be dark, but then when the lightning took place, it'd light up like a Christmas tree.

And I thought, do you realize one day it's gonna be pitch dark?

It's gonna be, hey, the doom and the gloom of the tribulation and all that's going on.

It's gonna be like it's all over.

God's dead, God's not alive, nothing's happening.

All that he said was gonna happen is not happening, and it's not gonna happen.

And all of a sudden, there's gonna be an unbelievable lightning flash from the east all the way to the west.

A lightning so bright and so big and so powerful, it lights up the whole world.

And then in that moment, there's gonna be, you're gonna look up.

Can you imagine if you're here in the tribulation and that happens and you look up, and oh my goodness, you see this unbelievable Shekana glory on a white horse coming with a thousand or million or however many white horses following you, an army coming.

Wow.

And you and I are gonna be on there saying, whoa, Jesus is on some.

And here we come.

Ladies and gentlemen, it's gonna happen.

Jesus said it would.

And with that said, let's look at look at some things, and it gets me so excited.

The King of Kings himself is coming, accompanied by all the saints.

Look at the first thing I want us to look at: the advent of Christ in chapter 19, verses 11 through 13.

Then I saw heaven open.

Remember, the first time heaven opened was in Revelation chapter 4, verse 1, the rapture of the church.

Revelation 4:1

No other time is it mentioned about heaven opening until now, chapter 19.

That's why I still firmly, kind of dogmatically, not that I'll fight over it, believe that the church is not even going to be in any part of the tribulation.

It's gone.

But now we see for the second time, the word of God says, heaven opens for the second time.

The first time heaven opens, it opened for the church to come in.

The next time heaven opens, it will be for the church to return again.

That's good, folks.

And here we see it.

Then he said to me, Write blessed, woo-hoo, happy are those invited to the marriage feasts of the Lamb.

Oh.

And then look.

Then I saw heaven open, and there was a white horse.

Its rider is called faithful and true, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.

His eyes were like a fiery flame, and on his head were many crowns.

He had a name written that no one knows except himself.

There's one name that no one knows.

We don't know.

We won't know till then.

The other, there's a lot of names we do know that he is, and here we see three of them: faithful and true, the Word of God, and the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

But there's another name, and it must be so unbelievable that one day we will know when we come back what that name is.

When he sits, hey, down on the Mount of Zion and he sets up his kingdom, there'll be a special name for him then.

No one knows it.

Nobody.

But then he says, His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns.

He had a name written that no one knows except himself.

But verse 13, he wore a robe stained with blood, and his name is called the Word of God.

Woohoo! Man, what unbelievable facts we see.

Here we see that, hey, heaven is open for a second time, so the saints can return to earth, accompanying their Lord.

And it opens first for the rapture, but it opens secondly.

Are you ready?

For the revelation.

The revelation of God.

The first time was for the rapture, the second time for the revelation of God.

What a beautiful picture.

The rapture is that event which we are waiting for now at this present time.

When the church is taken from earth to be with the Lord, oh, it's going to be a glorious day.

But the revelation of Jesus Christ has not yet come.

It has not been revealed yet.

Now, I wanted to give you just a little bit of comparison.

Because, hey, the revelation of God, when he comes back and we come back with him, all his glory is going to be displayed for every eye to see.

Every eye.

First of all, let me give you a little comparison about the two.

The rapture.

Christ comes for his saints.

The revelation.

Christ comes with his saints.

The rapture.

The church meets Jesus in the air.

The revelation.

Jesus descends to earth on the Mount of Olives.

The rapture.

Coming of the Lord.

I love this.

With blessings in mind.

The revelation coming of the Lord with judgment in mind.

Big difference.

Big difference.

Rapture is imminent.

The revelation.

Always no less than seven years after the rapture is coming.

Now look at verse 11.

It tells us a name which is called faithful and true.

Let me tell you what that is.

Here we see all the attributes of God almost in this one verse that I want you to realize.

Faithful and true.

What is he telling us right here?

And A, put down, faithful and true.

What is he telling us here?

He is telling us that you can depend on God.

Can I get an amen?

Can I say this?

Hey, man may let you down, but God will never let you down.

Amen.

In fact, I'm thinking, I'm looking at the durers there.

You know, hey, they needed to raise$5,000 for their dog that I don't know how they do it, but they sniff when the blood's low and when the blood's high.

I need me.

I got a dog.

I'm gonna train my dog to smell my blood when it's high and when it's low.

But it's phenomenal.

It really is.

And they know, they know 45 minutes to an hour before the even the little meter knows.

It's unbelievable.

But hey, we needed to raise 5,000, it's done.

They already raised it.

It's unbelievable.

Let's give God a hand.

Woo! Now they still look need some more extra expensive for tickets and stuff to go get the doll.

But thank God that quick.

You know, that's somebody asked me the other day, you don't have to go to church.

No, you don't have to go to church, and you don't have to have a church family.

And when you need something, you out there on your own.

Hello?

Yeah.

Or or or you come and try to mooch off the church.

Hello.

Ooh, I shouldn't have said that.

That's ugly.

But it's true.

Amen.

Amen.

Hey, amen.

Listen, why do you think it's so important to be a covenant member?

A covenant member means we take care of our own first.

Now that doesn't mean we don't look to the y'all know how much we help this community and help people.

But we really help our covenant members.

That's our family.

Amen?

It's important.

That's why you have a church home and a family that loves you and walks through.

Hey, this week all we've done is walk through trials and tribulations with our family.

It's not always on the mountaintop.

Sometimes it's in the valleys.

But bless God, if you're a shepherd and you love each other, you're there.

You're there.

Amen.

That's what it's all about.

God will never leave you, hey, out in a valley without being with you.

Never.

My Redeemer is faithful and true.

Psalms 118, verse 8 says, it's better to put your trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

Can I get an amen?

He says in the next verse, verse 9, Psalms 118, it's better to put your trust in the Lord than to put confidence in the government.

Hallelujah!

I don't want the government doing anything.

I'm sorry.

By the way, you don't see the government in the Bible supposed to take care of you, or you see the church.

Can I get an amen?

And if we did it God's way, we wouldn't have a mess we got.

That's a rabbit.

I'm getting back.

But notice, notice in verse 11, not only is he faithful and true, I love 2 Corinthians 1.20, which says, For all the promises of God are yea, an amen.

Can I get an amen?

There hath not failed one word of all of God's good promises.

1 Kings 8.56.

But notice the second thing, his eyes are flames of fire.

Woo! What does that mean?

That's the second one.

B.

It means his eyes burn up all that is false as he gazes upon the hearts and minds of the beloved.

In other words, his eyes penetrate our hearts and reveals all the ungodliness and unrighteousness that's in our lives that we need to get rid of.

Can I get an amen?

For the word of God is quick and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword, watch, piercing even to the dividing of the soul and of the spirits and of the joints and of the marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Luke 4.32, his word is with power.

That's what we see.

In fact, I read this as I was studying this week.

Dr.

Harry Ironstein, Dr.

Harry Ironside's an old time, he back in the 1800s, wrote a commentary series.

If you don't know how to read Elizabethan language, it's hard to read some of it.

But he was a masterful wordsmith guy.

And here's what he said.

In these three names in Revelation 19, notice what he said.

He said, the word of God has encompassed the entire ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ.

For example, he says, His eternity in the past.

He's faithful and true.

He was faithful from the beginning, hey, before anything was, from the past, from the present and the future.

And then he says, his incarnation, when he walked upon the earth, and the word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory of the only begotten Son of God.

John 1:14.

John 1:14

Hey, and then his sovereign coming as King of kings and Lord of Lords.

In other words, the word of God encompasses everything that he is.

And that is so true.

It really is.

But then notice the third thing, his many crowns.

And by the way, let me just say this about God gazing into our hearts.

1 Samuel 16, 7 says, God does not see as man sees.

Man looks on the outward appearance, but God looks on the heart.

Can I get an amen?

Aren't you glad when you, hey, when you walk in and you pull up here and you walk into that door, you're loved.

Hey, we don't care what you look like.

Well, hey, what color you are, what social uh class you are, what how much education you have or don't have.

We don't care about your past, we care about your future.

And God has a fantastic future for you.

Amen.

That's what it's all about, folks.

And I love that about our church.

I love it.

And we see that.

But when we get to, hey, these many crowns, it speaks of his sovereignty and his ruling, that no one is above him in rule.

He is the absolute, hey, he is the absolute ruler of all.

In fact, what we see here, these crowns, what you don't realize is when a king defeated another king in biblical times, what they would do, they would capture the king.

They didn't want the king to be killed.

In fact, they told the soldiers, anybody kills the king, then hey, they'd kill the soldier.

They wanted the king and his crown to be brought to the winning king.

And then the winning king would go back to his kingdom and he would get a beautiful white horse.

They had white horses just for parades and especially for victorious parades after a kingdom had defeated another kingdom.

And you know what they would do?

That king would take the crown of the defeated king, and he would hold it up as he rode through the city.

And as people were singing, you know, all kind of songs of victory for their kingdom.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I got good news.

Ha ha!

There's coming a day when all ten nations that have formed to re-establish the revived Roman Empire, ten kingdoms, will one day be defeated by one king.

And his name is faithful and true.

His name is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

His name is the word of truth.

And he will hold up the crown, his crown.

But he'll hold, I'm sure all those ten king crowns will be just dangling.

If it was me, I'd have them dragging behind me.

But anyway, this is what we see.

And then notice the other thing his robe.

His robe dipped in blood.

Speaks of the redemption that he secured for us on the cross as a lamb that was slain.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace.

Hey, hey, but also, and in the context, it could also refer to the blood that's on his robe.

Hey, you got to realize the w the most horrific battle ever, hey, exhibited of all the battles that we've ever heard and seen on TV, all that, hey, is gonna take place.

You and I will be witnesses of that battle.

We will be right there watching as Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords from the sword of his mouth, symbolically of a real sword, literally destroys the whole, hey, kingdoms, the ten kingdoms, and hey, hey, as he destroys the kings and the lords and the captains and all the soldiers, and the Bible says there'll be blood as deep as a bridle of a horse.

So, yes, it could mean that there's blood even on his vesture, too.

But I hold to the main thing, the redemption of the saints.

Can I get an amen?

But being true to the text.

So we see that as well.

And then, hey, the word of God.

Woo! Yes, that's what I'm talking about.

The word of God.

Oh my friends.

Oh, in the beginning was the word, the word was with God, and the word was God, and the same was in the beginning.

Hey, before anything was, his word was, and after everything will be, his word still will be.

Psalms 119, 89.

And then verse 14 in John 1, the word became flesh.

So we see that.

And then we can't help but remember in Revelation 1:7, Jesus said, Every eye will see him.

Even though, listen, who pierced him.

People have asked me, how's that possible?

Well, with the technology today, I don't think our generation even has to work.

We know how that's possible.

Do you realize right now Billy Graham's funeral was seen by the whole world?

So it will be very easy for the whole world to see Jesus coming back in his glory.

Wow.

Notice the second thing.

Not only the event of Christ, did I get all those filled in?

I think I did.

Good.

Good.

I want my teachers to be happy.

Number two, the armies of Christ.

Verse 14.

Look at it.

Boy, this is so good.

The armies that were in heaven followed him on white horses, wearing pure white linen.

Oh, the Bible says when Christ returns, he will bring with him an army.

Every believer who died before the rapture, or went up to be with the Lord at the rapture.

The tribulational saints will all be here.

The Old Testament saints, the New Testament saints, and the tribulational saints, all combined in one great army.

The purpose of our coming with him is to help execute judgment upon those who have died and denied, not died, I'm sorry, but upon those who have denied Christ during the tribulation.

Look at this.

I want you to see.

I think we have this Jude.

Jude verses 14 and 15.

This is what it says.

Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also saying, Behold, the Lord comes.

Now watch this.

With 10,000 of saints.

Verse 15.

Why are we coming with him?

Why are we coming back with him?

To execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way.

There it is.

144,000 witnesses preached to them.

The two faithful witnesses preach to them.

And there will be enough literature stashed away.

People are already doing that, whether it's in Petra or wherever, they're putting Bibles and tracts everywhere that they think all these people that will be in their tribulation will be there so they have access to the truth, the word of God.

And God would not have it any other way.

But here's what he's talking about.

Look at 2 Thessalonians chapter 1, verse 7 through 10.

Here it is.

Here it is.

And to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, by the way, the Old Testament saints, the New Testament saints, tribulational saints, and the angels are coming back, dear, hey, with God at the second coming.

And here's what he says: and those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, watch, these shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his power when he comes in that day.

What day?

The second coming of God, to be glorified in his saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.

Wow.

Wow, wow.

The word armies is plural there.

Look at it.

It is not the army of heaven, but the armies.

The New Testament, the Old Testament, tribulational saints, and the angels.

More important than who they are is how they are dressed.

Look at it.

These armies go into battle dressed in pure white garments.

Strange, isn't it, from a military perspective?

You know why?

It means we're pure.

It means we've been set free.

It means we've been made pure.

We've gone through the beam of judgment seat.

We are rightfully standing as his pure bride.

Remember when we talked about that last week?

The pure bride.

Oh.

Why?

Hey, why do why would you be dressed in white when you buy it?

Because we don't get, hey, we don't get any blood on us.

We don't get dirty.

We don't even fight.

We just watch.

We're chew leaders.

I can't wait.

Get him, Jesus.

Get him!

Now you say, oh, that's not loving.

Now wait a minute.

How?

Do you realize how loving he is?

See, here's the part people don't want to accept about God.

They love the loving part.

He's too loving to send anybody to hell.

That's true.

Can I tell you something?

He doesn't send anyone to hell.

You choose to go to hell.

Let me help you.

He doesn't want anyone to go to hell.

He died so that everyone could go to heaven.

Amen.

You don't have to.

You go because you choose to.

God help us.

But let me tell you, when you've seen thousands and I don't know about you, but in my flesh, sometimes, with all that's going on in America, and I love, I just I just really almost I try to watch a little news again every once in a while.

Now it you know what?

It makes me get so angry, I just want to go out there and give it up.

When somebody walks in and kills 17, give it on! And I know that's a hatred that I don't need in my heart.

But one day, Jesus is gonna say, enough's enough after he's given them years, thousands of years, thousands of years to repent.

He's given them every opportunity that you could ever have to repent.

And they say no.

And all they want to do is they they they gather together the greatest army in history of the world to try to destroy Jesus and to get rid of the saints.

There will be one time we can say, get on Jesus! It's time.

And he will.

Aren't you glad to be you know that you're on the win indeed?

I read the last chapter we win.

And here we see it.

Notice the third thing.

The authority of Christ.

Verses 15 and 16.

From his mouth came a sharp sword, so that with it he might strike the nations.

He will shepherd them with an orange scepter.

He will also trample the wine press of the fierce anger of God the Almighty.

Nobody likes the anger of God.

Everybody wants the love of God.

But ladies and gentlemen, listen, God does, he is love.

God is love.

We know that, 1 John 4.

But let me tell you, after so long a period of time, he's given them so much, and they still spit in his face.

They trample him, they reject him, they rebel against him, they try to kill him, they try to kill his people.

Enough's enough.

Enough's enough.

Right here.

In Revelations 1.16, we read about the sharp two-edged sword coming from Christ's mouth.

As he was prepared to levy judgment, remember?

Upon the seven churches.

Here on the way to further judgment, we see him again with the sword coming out of his mouth.

It reminds me of Ephesians 6.17, where he says, put on the armor of God.

In chapter 6.

That's where we're going next.

After we finish here and Easter, we're going to Ephesians 6.

We're going to put on the armor of God.

And he says in Ephesians, right here, Ephesians chapter 6, verse 17, he says, Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

Oh, his word is with power.

And we know how powerful it is.

As Christ leads forth his armies in victory, John sees the name written on his thigh.

Look at it: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

And we are familiar with this double name.

But now, hey, in this time is when it really takes on its intended significance.

Here is when every knee's gonna bow, and every tongue's gonna confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Look at Philippians chapter 2.

Philippians chapter 2, verses 10 and 11.

Philippians 2:10

And while he's getting it up, Romans 14, 11 says, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to me.

Praise the Lord.

Romans 14, 11.

And then that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, those in heaven and those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

That's when we're gonna exalt him as King of kings and Lord of Lords.

He will fulfill the wonderful prophecy that we review every Christmas in Isaiah chapter 9, verse 6.

And the government of this world shall be upon his shoulders.

What a beautiful picture.

What a beautiful picture.

What a beautiful, unbelievable picture.

That brings me to number four.

The avenging of Christ.

Are you excited yet?

Give me a little amen here.

I know it's a little dreary out there, and we're all kind of dreary this morning.

Verses 17 through 21, look at what happens.

The beast and his armies are defeated.

Then I saw an angel standing in the sun and he cried out.

Now I'm gonna tell you, this right here is gonna be some of the most enlightening things about something I'd never seen before, and I've been studying the Word of God for a long time.

But do you realize there's gonna be another supper?

And it's not gonna be the marriage, hey, lamb, the marriage supper of the lamb.

But look at the supper it's gonna be this time.

Then I saw an angel standing in the sun.

And he cried out in a loud voice, saying to all the birds, the word for birds there is or neon, or plural, or nias.

And it literally means fowls of the air or vultures.

That's what it means.

When then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out in a loud voice, saying to all the birds, the fowls of the air, the vultures flying in mid-heaven, come, gather together for the what does it say?

The great supper of God.

Not the marriage lamb's feast, but the great supper of God.

Now, watch this.

So that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of commanders, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses, and of their riders, and the flesh of everyone, both free and slave, small and great.

Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness.

Then I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and against his army.

But the beast was taken prisoner, and along with him the false prophet, who had performed signs on his authority, by which he deceived those who accepted the mark of the beast, of those who worshipped his image.

Both of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with suffer.

The rest were killed with the sword and came from the mouth of the rider of the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

All the birds were satisfied.

They got their full.

They got their fill.

The avenging of Christ.

Two things.

The fouls of heaven and the foes of heaven are two metaphors John uses to convey what will happen when Christ comes.

Here it is.

This is it.

I told you I was through with the glory, but but you gotta, this is the battle of Armageddon.

You gotta understand it.

The last battle.

This is it.

Here's what happens.

Look at the fowls of the air.

In his vision, John sees an angel calling all these birds.

They're to come and clean up the flesh of the mighty men who were will be killed in the battle of Armageddon.

It's unbelievable.

It really is.

The mighty men of the earth, the captains, the kings, along with the flesh of all the people free and slave, both small and great, verse 18.

Now, here's what I want you to notice.

There's two suppers.

There's two suppers in Revelation 19.

There's the marriage supper of the Lamb, verse 9, and there is the supper of the great God, verse 17.

The former is a time of great rejoicing and celebration, the marriage supper of the Lamb, while the latter, right here, the supper of the great God, is a time of wailing and lament as those who fall in the battle against Christ are consumed.

Someone has said we get to take our choice of what supper to attend.

Hello.

You have a choice.

Those who reject his gospel, his invitation of love and grace, and who survived the tribulation period will attend the supper of the great God.

You will not eat the food, but you will be the food eaten.

Notice the second thing: the foes of heaven.

It is amazing here, as well as all throughout the book of Revelation, that mankind continues to gather together to make a stand against God.

I don't know about you, but if I was lost, I've seen enough miracles of God in the hand of God to know that there's a God.

Oh well, they've chosen to serve the creature more than the creator.

And because of that, they're an abomination unto God.

And I'm glad I don't understand that because I'm a Christian.

But if I wasn't a Christian, the carnal mind rejects everything.

But that doesn't mean we quit giving up on our folks.

You never give up on anyone.

I'll tell you why I don't give up on my friends and the ones that I know the loss.

And I give, uh, in fact, Wade, I man, I enjoyed myself, Wade.

Wade invited me to one of his training sessions with all about 20, about 20 people, I think at least.

And I got a chance to get to know what you do.

That blessed my heart.

And it enables me to pray more strategically for you.

But I got, you know what he asked me?

And he stood up and he said, now, Pastor Danny's here.

And he says, if any of you do not want to hear this, that's okay.

You can leave.

Not one of them left.

And for the next about 20 minutes, I shared my testimony and I shared the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why?

Because, by the way, anytime you got somebody you want me to preach to, just call me.

I'll be there.

But the whatso, and both stuff, listen, I had several, amen in me.

They were right with me.

Some were kind of one or two looking up, but they were listening.

And I knew the word would never return void, Isaiah 55, 11.

So, and I just loved them.

I stayed and ate with them, talked to them after I went out in the hall and just told them I love you guys, praying for you.

And come visit with us one Sunday.

Why?

That's what I do.

That's who I am.

But I love those folks.

You say, well, you don't even know them.

Yes, I do.

They're a soul.

And God died for them, and the least I can do if I'm saved is share the good news with them.

That's not hard.

And I'm seeing a, hey, just turn around and say, hey, read that.

Jesus is awesome.

And then tell them why he's awesome.

Tell them how he changed your life.

Amen?

Tell them how he changed your life.

That's what you do.

That's why they're fixing to go to, we're going to pray for this team in a minute, to Honduras.

They're going to share the good news.

Yes, they're going to be building buildings or churches and all, but they're going to be sharing the good news.

And they're building a building so that the pastors over there can share the good news.

But notice what I love here.

It is amazing here, as well as throughout the book of Revelation, that mankind, again, comes against God.

But watch here.

They stand against the God who created them.

But the Antichrist and the kings of earth and the pitiful souls follow them into a battle, gather together one last time to try to defeat Christ.

Their army will be made up of, well, look, kings and soldiers, ten nations of the revived Roman Empire, as well as the beast and the false prophet.

The Antichrist leads them away and defying, hey, leading the way in defying Christ's authority and right to rule.

But hey, it's the ultimate rebellion against God.

But let me tell you, It takes place at the mountain of Maghetto, the Battle of Armageddon.

If you ever been to Israel, you've been there.

But you know what gets me excited?

The degree of judgment we see meted out here will be directly comparable to the degree of rebellion the Antichrist has formed during the tribulation period.

His judgment, look, will be terrible because his acts have been terrible.

The battle is joined in.

Look, verse 20.

Now, this is, I have to admit, I got so excited when I saw this in verse 20.

I'd never seen it before.

Watch this.

Mm-mm.

In verse 20.

But the beast was taken prisoner, and along with him the false prophet, who had performed all this leading away.

But now, captured in the King James word, but let me tell you what it literally means.

In fact, it's the it's the Greek word piezo.

And here's what it means, Paul.

Come here, Paul.

Now you're taller than I am.

So you stand right there, and I'm gonna stand right here.

No, no, face me, face me, face me.

Okay.

I'm gonna demonstrate it to you.

Jesus has had so much, he's had enough from these two, the false prophet.

Hey, hey, the false prophet and the beast.

You're the bad guy.

That word literally, a Izo.

Here's what it means.

He grabs him, both of them, and throws him into hell.

Yes! Yes! Yes! He's had enough.

That's what it means.

They're the first two to hit hell.

And they stay there! Revelation 2010! Till the Antichrist gets there!

You say, Well, where's everybody else?

They're in Hades.

Remember, we talked about that.

You don't hit Gehenna until after the thousand-year rain.

But Hades is just as bad.

Don't think you're in a comfortable place.

But that's what it is.

He grabs them and goes right into hell.

I'd never seen that before.

That's why I do word studies.

But that's what happens.

They are the first ones.

Look at it.

The first ones.

The Lord has had enough of their rebellion and puts an end to it immediately once the battle begins.

Isn't that amazing?

He takes out the leaders right at the very beginning.

You're through.

You're in hell.

In the army.

There they are.

The ones they followed all this time.

It's gone.

They're in hell.

They become the first two residents of hell.

That's it.

And they'll be tormented day and night forever and ever, Revelations 2010.

I'm not sure if I put that up there or not.

I get so excited sometimes.

And I see so much after because once I get the outline down, I just keep studying and studying.

But anyway, it would be wrong for us to be callous or casual.

It really would.

About the horrific events in store for many of our fellow human beings.

As we watch for his appearance, I wrote this to me.

We should live, hey, we should live with a careful attitude toward our own lives.

Now get this, write it down.

We should live with a careful attitude with our own lives.

And a compassionate attitude for our fellow beings.

A compassionate, knowing the truth that we know toward those who do not know Christ.

Remember last week, because I had three or four people ask me.

What I said was, we prepare our own garments for the wedding.

Remember that?

And they could be as elaborate or as simple.

And depending on how well you have prepared your garment, would determine where you sit at the marriage feast of the Lamb.

So God last, I wanted to come back and give you ten ways to do that garment.

I've given you the verses.

And I'm gonna just, real quick, tell you what they are.

I'm not gonna read the verses, but I'm gonna tell you what the verses mean.

So you might want to jot back.

In other words, here's how to build your garment for the marriage feast of the Lamb.

Number one, refrain from judging others.

Number two, remember the Lord's table.

We participate here quarterly.

We'll be partaking of the Lord's Supper soon.

In fact, I have to look at the calendar.

I think we're going to partake the Sunday right after Easter.

We're going to take the Lord's Supper.

Number three, respond to life spiritually.

Colossians 3, 1 through 4, here's what it says.

Whatsoever you do, do it heartly as unto the Lord.

In other words, find somewhere to get involved and do it with all your might.

Can I get an amen?

Number four, relate to one another in love.

When you disagree with one another, which you will, I've been married to this beautiful redhead for 36 wonderful years.

But we have disagreements.

I know you wouldn't believe that.

We're so opposite.

But the way we handle those disagreements is the key.

You can do it lovingly or you can do it wrongly.

Love.

Can I say, let me help you with the word love?

Love will never do anything intentionally to hurt anybody.

Whether it's by action or by words.

Can I get an amen?

Real love.

Number five, restore the bereaved.

Bear one another's burdens.

Oh, we're good at that.

Our church is great at that.

And Rosemarie back there and several other ones just respond so beautifully.

Recommit, number six, ourselves to the ministry.

Reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all long-suffering doctrine.

In other words, find a ministry and do it.

Number seven, refuse to neglect church.

Hebrews 10, 24 and 25.

You come to church for love and to love each other, to help each other, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as a manner of somehow, but exhorting one another so much more as you see the day approaching.

Number eight, remain steadfast.

Don't let Satan take you out.

Stay in there.

Even when the going gets tough, the tough get going.

Stay in there.

Number nine, renounce sin in our lives.

He that says he has no sin is a liar and the truth's not in him.

1 John 2, 28 and 29.

Get it out.

Get it out.

Get that sin out of our lives.

And then number 10, reach the lost.

Reach the lost.

Jude 21, 23 says, Our purpose is to share the good news, the gospel to everyone.

That's it.

Now that's how you build your garment for the marriage feast of the Lamb.

Lord laid that on my heart after that message last week to do this, to put this.

I normally don't give you that many listings, but that's how I wanted to give you the material to build your garments for the wedding.
