When God makes all things new

Whether it's in a book or on an iPhone or whatever.

Turn there.

You know, this millennial generation is a whole different generation.

You realize the millennial generation is the generation that has grown up with technology.

See, when I started out as a young 27 or 28-year-old pastor in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, we didn't even have a phone for unless it was in the house.

Anybody else like that?

There's a few of us.

And the millennials are saying, what is that?

A house phone?

They keep their phone with them 24-7.

Party lines.

That's going well.

I was a child when they had the party lines.

You'd be talking and somebody else just cut in with you and saying, Would you hurry up and hang up?

I gotta make a phone call.

Party line.

Party line.

But they grew up and then I graduated from a beeper.

Remember the beepers?

Oh, beepers were phenomenal.

They can get you anywhere you are.

And the good thing about a beeper was I didn't look at the number and decide whether or not I wanted to call them back.

Hello.

And then I graduated to the bag phone.

50 cents a minute.

You kept your beeper so that you'd look and see if you really had to make a phone call, then you'd call them on the bag phone.

Yeah, you stop and put a quarter in the pay phone.

So we've been there.

This generation has no idea.

I meant right here, baby, everything.

Everything.

Right there.

Peep, beep, beep, beep.

Everything.

No, you don't even have to do that and say, Siri?

Would you please spell this for me?

I love that.

I meant right here.

The millennial generation.

They want it right now, right this instant, and they don't want to wait.

You know why they don't want to wait?

They're not used to waiting.

And that's why our customer service has gone down the tubes.

Just a thought.

But there are advantages and disadvantages, I understand that.

But what I'm saying is, as unbelievable as this technology is, you haven't seen anything yet.

Nothing to compare.

Can you imagine being in heaven?

There'll be no vehicles in heaven.

There'll be no iPhones in heaven.

You won't need an iPhone.

Whoever you're talking to will hear you.

That'll watch what you say, won't it?

You want to go over there and you say, well, it must be a small place.

No, it's a big place.

It's 1,500 miles cubed, including 1,500 miles straight up.

That's a big cube.

That's about tw that's about uh room enough for at least over 20 billion people.

We've figured it out.

20 billion.

Now you say, what do you what does that mean?

That means that we don't have 20 billion people living in the world today.

So heaven's gonna, what that figures out to is about uh 70, are you ready for this?

If it was 20 billion people in heaven, it'd about 75 acres apiece.

Hello.

What are you saying?

You don't have to worry about heaven being, hey, big enough for you and other people.

So why don't you start asking more to go with you?

Amen.

Ask them to go with you.

Because it's a wonderful place.

It's a beautiful place.

And if you're here this morning, you do not have an outline, raise your hand.

Because I want you to have the outline up front here, over here, because you don't want to miss this truth that we're gonna hear today.

What a place.

What a place.

We ended last week in chapter 20 with the millennial reign.

And we actually ended with the great white throne judgment, where every believer will, where every unbeliever will stand before the great white throne judgment and be judged for their works and the books.

And I had several people tell me, thank you for answering the question about the books.

I was thinking about you, David, when we asked that question in Susan.

So instead of just one or two sets of books, I gave you the several books.

And I think that really does answer the question.

Actually, it answered my question.

So, but Satan was thrown into the pit.

Thousand years, and then at the end he's loosed again, and then they have that final uh battle, and it won't be a battle.

The Lord's just gonna take care of it pretty quick, and then the new heavens and the new Jerusalem's gonna come down from heaven.

Because God's gonna make everything new.

When we begin to speak of eternal matters, we can't imagine what it's gonna be like.

But right here in our text, this chapter 21, the veil between time and eternity has pulled back for just a little bit, and we begin to look into the future, into a place called heaven.

And there's a word in our text this morning that is used four times in chapter 21, and it's called new Kainos.

It means uh something that's very uncommon, it means something that is unheard of.

The new heavens and the new earth are unheard of.

We see that.

This word also means, are you ready?

Recently made.

It means fresh, it means uh unused, it means unworn.

The passage speaks of the time when God makes all things new.

Look at verse one.

I'm not gonna take time to read the whole chapter, but we'll be looking at the whole chapter.

But uh a gentleman told me this morning when I told him what we were preaching on, he read it early this morning, and it was amazing.

Susan and I were coming back for my grandson's uh birthday yesterday, and birthday he was turned eight.

Man, it just seems like yesterday he was born.

Now he's eight years old.

And uh we were listening to Ann Light Graham on her message on heaven, and I I meant we were shouting, I was shouting, she was crying.

That's the difference in our personalities.

But I thought to myself, what a message! Because it really fits into everything I'm about to teach and preach to you.

And this passage speaks, look at it in verse 1.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth has passed away, and the sea existed no longer.

I also saw the city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.

Then I heard a loud voice from the throne.

Look! That's what it means.

Not look, look! God's dwelling is with men, and he will live with them.

They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.

And you gotta love this next verse.

This is the heart of the whole chapter, or the heart of heaven.

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

Death will exist no longer.

Grief, crying, and pain will exist no longer.

Because the previous things have passed away.

Then the one seated on the throne said, Look! I am making everything new.

He also said, right, because these words are faithful and true.

Here's what he means because I am faithful and true, and my word is faithful and true.

You can bank on what I say will happen.

And here we see, first of all, there will be a new creation, verse one.

It'll be a prepared place.

Remember what Jesus said in John chapter 14?

Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

For you believed in God, also believe in me, for in my father's house are many mansions.

That word mansions means many rooms.

I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am ye may be also.

And then I love what the apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians, and what a powerful statement.

1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 9.

1 Corinthians 2:9

He said, But as it is written, I has not seen, ear has not heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for them.

We can only imagine.

Because we can't comprehend it.

There's no feasible way to comprehend what heaven, the new heaven, the new Jerusalem, is gonna be like.

But here's some things that I want to give us under this new creation.

First of all, A, it'll be a wrecked, W-R-E-C-K-E-D, wreck creation is destroyed.

The verse speaks here of the day when this world and the atmosphere around it will be done away with.

The world has been stained by the blight of sin and murder and wretchedness and all the just the most ungodly things that Satan can produce has, hey, is right now on this earth.

It's unbelievable.

Shootings, hey, we hear of shootings every day, people being killed every day.

Every day.

Hebrews chapter 1, verse 10 and 12.

But Denson, go to 2 Peter chapter 3.

Yo, this is this is it.

You got me?

There we go.

But the heavens and the earth, which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Look at the next one.

But beloved, do not forget this one thing that with the Lord, one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Verse 9.

The Lord is not slack concerning, you gotta love this verse.

You wanna know he doesn't want anybody to die and go to hell.

We said that last week.

Here's why.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness, but his long suffering.

Now watch what he says, not willing.

God's not willing that any should perish, but all should come to repentance.

If you go, remember what did I say last week?

God does not condemn anyone to hell.

You choose to go to hell.

He's not willing that anybody go to hell.

But now, verse 10 is the key verse here for this point.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise.

Now look at this next word.

And the elements, plural, the elements, both on the earth and go back to that verse, Denson.

But the elements will melt with both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

Now that word elements is a word and it refers to a basic building block or blocks, plural, of all matter.

Now I'm gonna give you a little science lesson.

The building blocks of the universe is consist of elements.

Now, that word right here, the smallest of those building blocks, is called atoms.

An atom.

And what we see here is that the smallest of those building blocks, the atom, everything in the universe is made up of atoms.

Everything.

The word atom comes from the Greek language, and it's the compound word tumoth, which means to cut.

And the word A, which means not.

In other words, we're not to cut atoms.

Because when atoms are cut, it produces an unbelievable, tremendous explosion.

Unbelievable.

And guess what happened?

Man learned to cut atoms.

And the first very unbelievable expression and example of this was in World War II when we dropped the atomic bombs.

And we see that over 200,000 people were killed when we dropped the bombs, the devastation of Hiroshima, Nagasaki.

Imagine.

Imagine that devastation.

That's why we're so against nuclear war fare or the possibility of that.

Unbelievable.

But can you imagine on the day that God, on that last rebellion after the millennium, when all those that reject Christ and He's getting ready to destroy it, he's fixing to throw Satan into the lake of fire.

He's in the bottomless pit.

He roaned for a thousand years.

They grabbed him.

He said, it's over, it's finished.

He throws him into the bottomless pit.

And then he, I think, has an unbelievable atomic explosion that totally annihilates the whole earth now as we believe it.

Bam! It's gone.

It's over.

By fire.

Now watch.

This is good.

The atmosphere around the world has been claimed.

And here's why he destroys it.

It has been claimed by the habitation of Satan and his demons.

Look at Ephesians 2.2.

In which you once walked according to the counsel of this world, the world we're living in right now.

According to the prince and the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience.

That's right now.

He's the God of this world, he's the prince of this world.

He has his powerful demons right now ruling and running this world.

But one day, ladies and gentlemen, it's all over.

It's all over.

And we see that.

And what a beautiful sight, even though it's a horrible sight.

What the beauty is the knowing that we will never have to face Satan again.

He will cleanse the earth and the atmosphere surrounding it.

Can you imagine no more impure government?

Can I get an Amen?

Can you imagine no more floods, no more tornadoes, no more fires, no more any natural disasters whatsoever?

None.

None.

No more bad leaders, no more corrupt religion, no more painful suffering.

Sin and temptation will be done away with.

No more violent natural disasters whatsoever.

God, thank the Lord.

So it'll be a rec creation.

That recreation is destroyed.

Notice what that produces.

B, it produces a wonderful creation.

Then will be displayed.

After the recreation is destroyed, a wonderful creation will be displayed.

Look at it.

The old heaven and earth will be replaced with a new addition.

It will be remade as it was in the beginning, before sin invaded the world and tainted and ruined creation.

In the new world there will be no more curse.

Revelation 22, 3 says, There be no more curse.

Sin is over.

It's through with.

Can I get an amen?

It's over.

Hallelujah.

I don't know about you, I get tempted every day to do wrong.

Amen.

If there's anyone in here that doesn't get tempted or, hey, has the thought, let me put it that way, has the thought of doing wrong, if there's not, if you have never had a wrong thought, never been tempted to do wrong, you need to be preaching.

Hello.

Because I am a sinful man saved by God's grace.

Can I get an amen?

And I fight that sin in nature every day.

But one day I won't have to fight it anymore.

I can wake up and not have a bad thought.

Oh.

My preacher wakes up with bad thoughts.

Yeah, you know what the first bad thought is?

I don't want to get out of bed.

Amen?

Another throat.

Hey.

No, I'm not going to go there.

No, no, no.

The new world.

Look at this.

Oh, you're going to love this.

The Lord will make, hey, hey, it will what he makes will be so glorious that this old world will never have the.

Let me tell you how good it's going to be.

This world will never be remembered again.

Look at Isaiah 65, 17.

For behold, I create a new heavens and a new earth, and the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.

Can I get a hallelujah?

You think it's good now?

You think when in the fall, when we all take a day or two off when we go up to see the mountains and see the beautiful scenery and the beautiful rust and gold and brown leaves, and oh, and we just go, oh, it's so beautiful.

And I remember two years ago when we went to the Grand Canyon for the first time, and I stood there and I went, Can I tell you this?

There's gonna be one day when you see the new heavens and the new earth, you won't even remember the Grand Canyon.

Can you believe that?

And as you read down, you'll see, wow, when you you're talking about walls that are 200 feet thick with nothing but gorgeous, beautiful diamonds.

Hello.

Now, some of you women, when you get that beautiful diamond ring, you get you kind of greet everybody.

Hi, how you doing?

Or you say, oh, look at my necklace.

Oh, big old diamond.

Can I tell you something?

You know what Jesus thinks about diamonds?

He made walls out of them.

Hello?

He made walls out of them.

Oh, and what about the gold?

We're all investing in gold, gold.

You know what Jesus thought about gold?

He made streets out of it.

Hello?

That asphalt gold.

And we put all our lives in this diamonds and gold.

And the Lord says, you'd be walking on that in heaven.

That kind of puts it in proper priority.

Hello?

And then all these other Emeralds and stones.

I can't even pronounce the words, so I'm not even gonna try.

But what I know is it's beautiful and green and purple and and just you can't even imagine.

200 feet thick.

Oh, by the way, oh, look at my pearl earrings.

Look at my pearl necklace.

Mama life loves pearls.

You know what God did with them?

Made gates out of them.

Can you imagine?

I'm talking about, yeah.

Can you imagine how big those gates of pearls are?

And then let me tell you what about them.

They're so beautiful.

The city's so beautiful, he never closes the gates, he keeps them open.

Why?

You don't have to worry about sin up there, you don't have to worry about the devil up there, you don't have to worry about anything.

Instead, just going in and saying, Whoo, look at my city.

Look at my city.

Is that not unbelievable?

From verses 9 through 21, it just explains all of it.

Oh, it's just beautiful.

Uncomprehensible, really.

So here we see, look, look, look.

Unbelievable.

A wonderful creation is displayed.

You won't even remember it.

I didn't, yeah.

In fact, for as the new heavens and the new earth, saw, I didn't put, yeah, I did that.

Go, Denson.

I did put it up there.

Go to the next verse, Isaiah 66, 22.

Listen to what it says.

The prophet.

All this was prophetic pictures of the new heavens and the new earth, showing you how true the word is again.

For as the new heavens and the new earth which I will make shall remain before me, says the Lord.

In other words, so shall your descendants and your name remain.

In other words, everyone's in heaven.

You hey, I've made this new heaven, I made this new Jerusalem, and we're all going to be there together for an eternity.

I can't even comprehend that.

Man, I can't wait.

Unbelievable.

Oh.

John closes this verse by telling us that there will be no more sea.

Now that got me a little bit.

I'm kind of like Anne Graham.

You know what she said?

We like, I like, I don't like the ocean to get in it.

I love to look at it.

I don't like salt in my nose.

I don't like jaws.

Don't like, hey, don't like crabs pinching my toes.

Don't like jellyfish stinging you.

But Susan and I, when we're at the beach, love to walk on the beach early in the morning and late in the afternoon.

So when I thought about this sea, it bothered me a little bit.

No more sea, and that's what Anne was saying.

But it all depends on what you really think it may really means.

And it can mean one or two things.

One, it can mean that God just, by the way, God could and might create a new sea.

Because it's all new, created from scratch.

No canned biscuits in heaven.

Hello.

Amen.

Sorry, ladies.

All right.

But but what I really think the picture is, is separation, and that's what I wanted to start looking at.

There'll be no separation of any of us.

Because, see, three-fourths of the planet now is covered with water and seas, and it separates the different countries and the different nations.

Well, in heaven, that won't be.

We'll all be together.

So I think that's one of the main ideas that we're getting, especially with John, because when John saw this and John wrote this, if you remember, he was on the island of Patamas.

And he was separated from Ephesus and his people and the people he loved and the people he cared for and the people he shepherded.

He was separated from them.

So when God shows him this beautiful heaven, this new heaven and this new Jerusalem, he said, Wow, there'll be no sea.

I won't be separated from my people.

Beautiful.

Beautiful.

Which brings us to the second thing in this passage.

There will be a new creation, but there also will be a new city.

Look at verse 2.

Verse 2 says, and I also saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.

Couple of things here.

First of all, A, it'll be a perfect city.

Ever since man began to populate the earth, he has been in the business of building cities.

That's what we do.

The tragedy in America today, in most of our big cities or cities, you know what runs rampant?

Sin.

Sin.

And why does it run rampant?

Because we know who's the power and prince of the air and who's the God of this world, Satan.

So we understand that.

But there's going to be one day, there is going to be a city that is built and its maker is God.

Oh, I got to thinking about that.

Oh, what a day that will be.

God is building a holy city.

Every city is a reflection of its occupants.

It really is.

And that's why we see that one day God is holy.

He's going to create a holy city, separated from sin and sinners, free from the taint and the present of sin.

Woo! What a day that will be.

When I got to thinking about Proverbs 29, too, when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice.

But when the wicked bear through, the people mourn.

We're mourning because the wicked are bearing room.

And then I thought about Proverbs 14, 34.

Righteousness exalts a nation to greatness, but sin is a reproach to all people.

The reason America's the way it is is, hey, hey, bottom line, we have a sin problem.

Everybody starts saying, what can we prevent?

How can we keep the shootings from happening in our schools or in our cities or in the capital?

Ladies and gentlemen, you can't prevent it.

The only way it'll be prevented is one day when Jesus comes back, and after that rule, and after he takes Satan, he puts him in hell forever.

And he brings down the new city and the new Jerusalem and the new heaven, we will then have a perfect society.

Notice what else it'll be.

It'll be a prepared city.

Verse 2, he's preparing.

John 14, I quoted to it, God is preparing a new Jerusalem in a new city.

Do you realize he's, you know where this new Jerusalem, new city is right now?

It's in heaven.

And there's three heavens, you know that.

There's the atmospheric heaven, there's the star planets heaven, and then there's God's heaven, God's place.

So he's up there.

Why do you think it's taken so long for him to come back?

You ever thought about that?

I thought about that the other day.

He's building one of the most unbelievable places for you and me.

That's how special you and I are.

He's preparing a place.

Hey, that doesn't just mean your dwelling place.

That means your city.

That means your heaven.

He's preparing it right now.

Can I get an amen?

He's preparing that for you.

In fact, let's look at 2 Corinthians 5.1.

2 Corinthians 5.1.

Denson, throw that up there.

Right now, you and I, hey, right now, you and I are living in the tents of flesh.

I want you to see this, for we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Right now, what we're living in, man's hands has dealt with it.

And that's why it's flawed.

But now look at Hebrews chapter 11, verses 9 and 10.

Hebrews 11:9

This is why, remember when Sodom, hey, remember Lot went to Sodom?

He chose the beautiful plain cities and where all the plains were the best, and this was the best.

He was thinking worldly.

He wanted what was best for him, not what was best for, hey, not what God wanted.

But Abraham said, You choose, if you wanted you go there.

I'm not going to the city.

I'm not going to Sodom and Gomorrah.

I'm not going.

I'm going to keep my tent pitched out here in the wilderness.

I'm staying with God.

And he went into the wicked city, and it cost him his family.

There's a big difference here.

You know why Abraham didn't go?

Because Abraham had already been told early in Genesis.

He says, for he waited.

Hey, he said, by faith he dwelt in the land of the promise as a foreign country.

Ladies and gentlemen, if you are, I'm about to have a run in spirit.

Hey, I've run over those flowers.

But hey, listen, listen.

If you are saved and spirit-filled with an awesome God, and if you're saved, you are your spirit-filled.

And listen to me, God's dwelling place, and your body's God's dwelling place.

The Holy Spirit's in you, for by one spirit you're baptized into one body, 1 Corinthians 12, 13.

He's dwelling in you.

Ladies and gentlemen, your final destiny, your home is not here.

You're not here.

Hey, hey, I've lived in some nice homes.

Susan's built a couple of nice homes.

But hey, I still don't feel as comfortable in those homes as I will one day in heaven.

It's just, hey, it's just a dwelling place here.

That house is not made by God.

Woo! My eternal permanent dwelling place is made for me by my God.

That's how much he loves you.

You think a party?

You ain't seen a party till you be till you see the party we're gonna have in glory land.

But here's what he says: Look, for I waited.

He went on, he said, by faith, a foreign country dwelling in tents with Isaac to Jacob, the heirs with him, the same promise, and here it is.

For he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

Wow.

You believe this book?

If you believe this book, you got a dwelling place in a new city called the New Jerusalem.

It'll be a perfect place.

It'll be a prepared place.

But let me tell you the third thing.

Look at this.

Oh, this is so beautiful.

This is so fantastic.

There'll be a new creation, there'll be a new city, but there'll be a new communion.

There'll be a new fellowship.

Look at this.

Verse 3.

Actually, the basis, the first eight verses, just really tell you the whole what's in heaven, what's not in heaven.

It will be a time of personal communion, personal fellowship.

Then I heard a loud voice from the throne.

Look! God's dwelling is with men.

He will live with them, they will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.

Hey, hey, right now we got the Holy Spirit living in us, but one day we won't have the Holy Spirit living in us.

Are you ready for this?

Why?

You'll see Jesus face to face.

Face to face.

I'll walk up and say, Hey Jesus, how you doing, man?

No, I won't do that.

I'll fall on my face and worship him.

Just as Susan sang that song.

Holy, holy, holy.

But can you imagine?

You're gonna sing with Jesus.

You're gonna worship with Jesus.

You're gonna work with Jesus.

You're gonna serve with Jesus.

Wherever he is, you are.

He'll say, we're going over there.

There we go.

That's what I can't.

Gravity will have no problem.

Remember, we're gonna have the same body Jesus had when he ministered after his resurrection.

Remember when Thomas was there and doubting him and he just walks through the door.

He's there.

Through the wall, excuse me.

Doors part of the wall.

Anyway, he walked through that.

Peace.

Whatever.

I mean, can you imagine?

Can you imagine?

No, we can't.

This incredible verse lets us know that we will arrive when we arrive in heaven.

Our days separated from God are over.

Oh.

However, I also know that we, hey, that we are separated from God by our sins and by this flesh.

Let me show you what separates us.

Look at Exodus 33, 20.

Here's what it says.

But he said, You can't see my face and live.

No man shall see me and live.

You know why you can't, Moses couldn't see his face.

In fact, he just saw a glimpse of his glory, and it, you know, it, he couldn't, he had this rail of glory all over him for days.

He had to be in the crack.

Couldn't see him.

The reason we can't see God is because, well, hey, his glory is so bright and radiant and real, and we're so sinful.

It'd do us in.

It'd be over.

God's word says sin cannot enter into his presence.

But one day.

One day.

Matthew 5.8.

Blessed are the pure in heart.

Now you can read this beatitude in a different enlightenment.

But blessed are the pure in heart.

What a day that will be.

When my Jesus I shall see.

When he takes me by the hand and leads me into the promised land.

What a day.

Glorious day.

That will be.

Beautiful.

Beautiful.

Beautiful.

It will be a time of personal communion, verse 3, but it'll also be a time of pleasant communion, verse 4.

Are you ready?

Here's where it really gets good.

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

When we leave this world and step into the heavenly realm where we see God face to face, he will minister to us in a personal, profound way that will change the way we live our lives for eternity.

In fact, look, hey, while heaven will give us more than we can imagine, it also will take away some things that we'll be glad of forever.

Are you ready?

Number one.

There will be a time of pleasant communion.

Number one, there'll be no more sadness.

Look at what he says.

God shall wipe away tears from their eyes.

The word wipe here is ex a lifo, ex a lifo.

And it literally means to obliterate.

I'll get it out in a minute.

It means to erase, it means to wipe out, it means to blot out.

In other words, God will once for all race tears from existence.

Susan's gonna have a hard time.

See, while we're here on earth, you know what the Bible says?

The word, hey, tears are part of our walk here on earth.

Psalms 84, 6.

Do we have that, Denson?

I think we do.

As they pass through the valley of Baka, they make it a spring.

The rain also covers it with pools.

But he's talking about there, hey, the pools of tears and your numbers.

And then go to, I think it is Psalm 56.8.

Yeah, your numbers, my wanderings.

Put my tears into your bottle.

Are they not in your book?

In other words, we walk through the valley of tears here on this earth for all the sorrow, all the hurt, all the heartache, all the heartbreak.

Every one of us right here have had bottles of tears from people that we've lost that we love.

Can I get an amen?

Every one of us, there'll be a time where there will never be any more tears.

You know why?

There'll never be any more sin.

And you know why?

If you started naming your elements that you have, there'll be no more high blood pressure.

There'll be no more cancer.

There'll be no more dialysis.

There'll be no more, no more agents Satan uses to produce death.

Death will be vanished.

Can you imagine that?

Right now, I've got, I get calls weekly about people that are dying, people that have this, this, that, all that's gone away.

I started thinking about that.

There'll be no more sadness, no more disappointments.

I wrote this down.

No more arguing, fussing, cussing, divisiveness, drugs, evil, immorality, bitterness, burdens.

Does that sound good?

Would you like the little piece of that?

Hello.

I will.

I will.

But that's okay.

I got I already know what I'm gonna be doing.

I'm gonna be running around hollering, Jesus is on some.

That's my new job.

I already know it's coming.

There was a little boy, talking about tears.

Once a man who was getting his shoes shined in the airport.

A little boy was and he was stumbling.

He couldn't, he didn't do a good job.

The man looked down at him and said, What are you doing?

Can't you even shine shoes?

Very ugly.

Very belligerent.

Little boy started crying.

The man realized what he had done and he said, sir, he said, son, I'm sorry.

I didn't mean to make you cry.

The little boy looked up.

I didn't mean to make you cry.

He said, You didn't make me cry.

The tears are bottled up in me.

You see, I lost my mother yesterday.

And I came here to chat you so I could put some flowers on my mother's.

The tears were already there.

You just brought them out.

The tears are in us.

And it just takes something to bring them out.

It can be a tragedy.

Or it can be a blessing.

There's tears of joy and there's tears of sorrow.

So, honey, there may be some tears of joy.

I don't know.

But I do know this the tears of sorrow will be wiped away.

Can we give God a hand?

Amen.

They're gone.

Carolyn, they're gone.

Notice what else No more separation, no more death.

How many of us have lost loved ones in the last few years?

All of us, well, the 90% of them.

Two things.

One, you're gonna get to see them again.

You are.

Two, you'll never see any.

Can you imagine?

You're right.

Laney, I'll never do another funeral service.

There'll be no more.

You think I'm put out of business.

The funeral homes are gonna be out of business.

The more martiaries are gonna be out of business.

Hey, have you no more graveyards?

No more hospitals.

No more cancer centers.

None of that.

It's all gone.

No more separation.

Death.

The last enemy shall be destroyed.

First Corinthians 15, 26.

It's over.

Number three, there'll be no more sorrow.

The word mourning refers to a broken heart.

No more broken hearts.

No, hey, I wrote this for me.

No more regrets, no more guilt, no more failures, no more weaknesses, no more inferiority, inadequacy, or incapability, no more homelessness, no more starvation.

Hey, nothing to make us sorry about.

Every one of us in here has had your heart broken.

Every one of us over something.

Over something.

A wayward child, a death of a child, a death of a father, mother, all that.

But listen, not anymore.

It's over.

It's over, folks.

And then number four, no more sighing nor crying.

No more suffering.

Number five, pain refers to great, intense trouble.

It's gone.

No more trials, no more burdens, no more fatigue, no more sickness, no more disease, no broken lives, no shattered minds, no no more divorce.

All of that that shatters our lives, it's gone.

And then number six, no more source.

Look at what he says.

For the former things are passed away.

All the cause of our pain and sorrow and suffering and crying will be done away with.

Can I get an amen on that?

Isn't that good?

Isn't that good?

How many of you want to go to heaven?

Hey, it's the best eternity.

Hey, it's the best option you got because the other one's not too good.

Amen.

So we need to be taking people with us, and I close with the last point.

There will be a new condition.

Verses 5 through 8.

Look at it.

First of all, a a heavenly declaration.

Listen what God says.

He says, you can count on this.

I am going to make everything new.

This old world is going to vanish away.

Isaiah 51, verse 6.

Isaiah 51, verse 6.

Isaiah 51:6

Look at, I think we have it.

On the other side, he's talking, this old world in Isaiah 51, verse 6 is going to vanish away.

Isaiah 51:6

Lift up your eyes to the heaven, to the heavens, and look on the earth beneath, for the heavens will vanish away like smoke.

The earth will grow old like a garment, and those who dwell in it will die in like manner.

But my salvation will be forever, and my righteousness will not be abolished.

Wow.

A heavenly declaration.

God Himself says, you can count on it.

I'm going to make everything new.

Then look at B, a heavenly dispensation in verses six and seven.

What does that mean?

One, he dispenses life.

Look at verse 6.

And he said to me, It is done.

I am the Alpha, the Omega, the beginning, the end, the beginning and the end.

And I will give to the, hey, to the thirsty from the spring of living water as a gift.

There will be a river of living water running right down the middle of heaven.

You'll never be thirsty again.

Ha ha.

And then he says, he dispenses legacy.

Look at verse 7.

The victor will inherit these things, and I will be his God, and he will be my son.

In other words, shall inherit all things.

When you trust the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, you become a child of God.

Romans 8.15.

And you, look at, go to Romans 8.17.

He says, We become legal heirs of all the things that belong to the Lord God.

You know, right now, right now, when someone dies, what do they do?

They go to the wheels and they look at their legacy, basically what they have promised and left for the family members, who, what, when, where, how much.

Well, if you and I have become overcomers and have children.

You know what a, hey, let me tell you what a child is.

He defines it right here.

Well, this is good.

Thank you, Lord.

Two things.

A child is one that's thirsty.

He's thirsty for the things of God.

He that thirst after me will be filled, Jesus said.

Whew! Come unto me and drink.

Remember the woman at the well, John 4?

You'll never thirst again.

The second thing that describes a child, one's that's thirsty, the other one's an overcomer.

They overcome the temptation of sin, and they overcome the allurements and the methodologies and the tricks and the traps of Satan.

I know not every time, not while we're living on this earth.

I wished it was.

But one day those, hey, all that'll be gone.

It'll be washed away.

He won't be there.

Satan and his tricks and traps won't be there.

So, in order to inherit, ready, and children, then heirs.

We're heirs, heirs of what?

Of God.

Joint heirs with Christ.

All that God has, and all that Christ has, we have.

If indeed we suffer with him, and that's why we're living here, that, hey, we may also be glorified together.

And look at 1 Peter 1, 3 and 5.

Oh, blessed be the God, hey, blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus.

We're his.

What he has is ours.

Say this with me.

What Jesus has is ours.

Ready?

What Jesus has is ours.

Wow.

So he dispenses legacies.

Beautiful.

And then see, he's a, I see, verse 8, a heavenly determination.

Look at verse 8 and we're through.

But the cowards, unbelievers, vile murderers, sexual immorals, sorcerers, adulterers, and all liars, they share with, hey, their share will be in the lake that burns with fire and suffer, which is the second death.

He describes who's going to be in heaven, and then he says, who's not going to be in heaven?

The fearful.

You know who they are?

Those who allow fear of the Lord or the fear of man to keep them from coming to Jesus.

Unbelievers, those who refuse to believe and receive the gospel.

The abominable, those who gave themselves to vile, wicked lifestyles.

That's Romans chapter 1.

Romans 1 · chapter mention

Talks about the abomination unto God, the creature worshiping and serving the creature serving themselves instead of the creator.

This is where homosexuality and all this perverted sex stuff that we see going on, all perversion that's not according to God's word.

He says it's abomination.

Leviticus, and I'm going to just put it out there.

I know this is not popular preaching right now, but Leviticus 18, 22 says, I will not lie with a, hey, I will not lie with a man as I lie with a woman.

It is an abomination unto God.

That's what it says.

Romans 1.

1 Corinthians 11.

And not just homosexuality, adultery, all this perverted lifestyles.

All of it.

That's abomination unto God.

It's abominational.

Those who gave themselves to vile, wicked lifestyles, murderers, we know what that means.

Kill people.

Whoremongers, those who gave themselves over to again, a life theirs again of sexual perversion, homelessness, all that.

And then look at the word sorcerers.

This is a great word.

Those who practice the magical arts.

The word sorcerers here comes from the word, let me see if I can pronounce it right.

These are you make can help me here.

But it's pharmacus, the Greek word pharmacus, where we get our word pharmacy.

It refers to those who create and use chemical, I just said, I didn't know what else to say, concoctions.

Amen.

In other words, it speaks of those who are addicted to the use of drugs and alcohol or any kind of substance that involves chemical dependence.

I dolterers, those who give themselves to the worship of false gods and false systems of belief.

And then all liars.

Lying lips are abomination unto God, they will not go in punishment.

Do you realize we're living in a country that everybody, they lie, they they lie just like they drink water?

It's sad.

Fake news.

Thank God there'll be no more fake news in heaven.

And here's the conclusion.

You have a choice.

You can go to heaven.

Or you can go to hell.

It's your choice.

But all I can tell you is I can only imagine what it's gonna be like.

Now listen to me.

Here's the invitation.

If you're saved, after hearing Susan singing, I bowed down on my knees and cried only.

Well, that was God and heard that song on down.

She surprised me on that.

I didn't know she was doing that.

You ought to be willing to come and just bow on your knees if you're saved and say, God, thank you for what you've done for me.

And that I'm a child of the king.

And I know this is my inheritance.

This is what I'm gonna get.

Oh, can I thank you?

And then if you're lost, you ought to be down here bowing on your knees saying, God forgive me.

If you're living a life of sinfulness, you ought to be on your knees bowing, God forgive me.

And save me and wash me from my sins.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
