-
Good morning, guys.
-
God is good, amen.
-
I mean, we say this like multiple times.
-
God is good.
-
And God is good, and God is good.
-
But I truly believe that God is good.
-
And for me, it's not just a say.
-
I have taste.
-
And I saw how good God is.
-
I see it today.
-
I see it every day.
-
He is more than good, amen.
-
I'm gonna jump into the teaching because uh there's no more time, no much, not much time.
-
So, how many of you guys believe in this book?
-
Do you guys believe that everything that is said here is to be true?
-
It is true.
-
So then we walk by what the word says, right?
-
So then we are people of this book.
-
So who is this book?
-
Who is this book?
-
This book has a name.
-
We call it Bible, we call it scripture, I call it Jesus.
-
This is how I see Jesus.
-
This is how I find Jesus.
-
I can't find Jesus outside of this book.
-
So if someone comes and tells you there is Jesus, don't believe it.
-
If it's not here, that's not Jesus, there's a lot of Jesus out there.
-
I have friends named Jesus.
-
But I don't pray to that Jesus.
-
But there's no power in that name.
-
Listen, there's no power on that name.
-
But there is power in the name of the Jesus of the Bible.
-
That's where the power comes from.
-
But today I'm just gonna give you a little bit, I'm not gonna uh trying to give you my ideology, I'm gonna just read Bible, Bible, Bible, Bible.
-
Then I'm gonna give you Bible verses and I'm gonna answer with Bible verses.
-
I'm gonna talk about meditation.
-
Meditating what?
-
Meditar qué?
-
This book.
-
This book.
-
We read it, and then we meditate it all day long everywhere you go if you're at work, you're losing out a nutlojando you're still meditating in the Lord.
-
If you're in your kitchen, cooking, chopping some tomatoes, you're not, oh, I'm gonna chop this perfectly.
-
How great is all God.
-
Say with me, how great is meditating in the Lord.
-
Every single thing you do, you don't meditate on that that you're doing.
-
You're meditating in the Lord.
-
And because you're meditating on the Lord, all of that that you do, it'll go well.
-
I'm not saying that.
-
Don't believe me.
-
Believe the word.
-
Joshua 1.8.
-
Josue 1.8.
-
This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you might observe to do according to all that is written in it.
-
For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
-
Say with me, break it down.
-
Joshua 1A, four things that you see there.
-
This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth.
-
It's talking about what a law.
-
But let's, let's, let's, let's go a little higher.
-
Let's go to Psalms 1-2.
-
Just the first part.
-
It says, but this, but his delight isn't the law of the Lord.
-
Now, David was known as what?
-
The man according to what?
-
God's heart.
-
Think about that.
-
Think about having that title.
-
Think about having this title.
-
The man according to God's heart.
-
In order for you to have a heart according to God's heart, you have to be a people of the book.
-
You have to know what he says.
-
You have to understand who God is.
-
You will understand who God is through his word.
-
David did not take the word of God as a law.
-
As a just an order.
-
It was a delight.
-
He will delight in his word.
-
He will spend times and times meditating in the word of God.
-
Everything that David used to do, it was meditation onto the Lord and remembering who God was.
-
I don't know if you have read the Psalms.
-
But when you are meditating in God's law, and you're so in tune and connected with the law of the Lord, there are times when you stop being you.
-
And then the Holy Spirit takes over.
-
So look how in the Psalms.
-
David was let's say that he was meditating in the Word of God.
-
He was writing songs.
-
But look how in the midst of it the Holy Spirit would come and speak.
-
Prophecy.
-
Why?
-
Because David's heart was so connected with the Lord's heart.
-
That when he was speaking, it was no longer David speaking.
-
It was the law of the Lord being proclaimed.
-
It was the prophecy being proclaimed.
-
So why do we need to be people of the book?
-
Because only then we will know what is God's will for us.
-
So he will delight in his word.
-
It is my meditation all day long.
-
So check this out.
-
And you read it.
-
The Lord is my shepherd.
-
I shall not want everything has been provided.
-
What is the meditation of the word in you?
-
Day and night.
-
It changes you.
-
It transforms you.
-
It makes you more aware of what God says who you are.
-
Instead of what you think you are.
-
If you keep living your life thinking of who you think you are, I'm sorry, but the pastor was saying it just a little bit ago, you're gonna get tired.
-
That's why it's so imperative that you utilize the word of God.
-
Day and night.
-
First part.
-
This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth.
-
Point number two.
-
But you shall meditate in it day and night.
-
So when someone comes, this is daily living.
-
When someone comes and tells you, ah, you're ugly.
-
And you're like, oh, you tell me that I'm ugly.
-
And now I live my life thinking that I'm ugly.
-
Why?
-
Because someone came, some knucklehead came and said that I was ugly.
-
And do we believe the word of God or not?
-
Because that's not what the word of God says.
-
So what is this word says here?
-
Let the word of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight.
-
But when he said that to me, the offense comes to my heart, I don't respond, I don't retaliate.
-
According to what the enemy wants me to retaliate.
-
Because that's his only purpose.
-
He's looking for your answer.
-
But because I have the meditation of the meditation of my mouth, I ask the Lord to be accepted into his heart, into his sight.
-
Bless him, Lord.
-
What a beautiful person this is.
-
But you tell people you don't respond according to the word what the world wants you to respond.
-
From the abundance of the heart speaks.
-
So if the abundance of the heart is this, there is no way that you're gonna speak nonsense.
-
There is no way that you're gonna retaliate with something harmful to them.
-
Jesus in the cross.
-
They were mocking him.
-
Look at this guy, look at this guy, and if you are in this and that.
-
But no, what he said.
-
Father, forgive them.
-
Ah, but the people of the book do know.
-
What we're saying.
-
We know what we're saying.
-
And we declare blessing.
-
If we declare blessing for them, how much more blessing do I declare upon you?
-
My brother, the body of Christ, bless people before you speak, think.
-
Meditate.
-
What should I respond?
-
Pray.
-
You know sometimes we we think like pray, you have to come and spend two hours in order for you to respond.
-
No, you can make a quick prayer.
-
And there is multiple places in the Bible where the Lord asks, answered the prayers of people that in the moment they prayed and it was answered right away.
-
So think, meditate.
-
Pray about it.
-
When you have to give an answer, pray quick.
-
The Lord is gonna guide you.
-
So, Psalms 143 5.
-
He says, I remember the days of old.
-
I meditate on all of your works, I muse on the work of your hands.
-
Look verse verse 6.
-
I spread out my hands to you, my soul longs for you like a thirsty lamb.
-
You know that the Lord always is seeking for something of us?
-
What do you think that that is?
-
Communion.
-
That you will walk closely with him.
-
And I love David here.
-
I spread my hands onto you.
-
My soul longs for you like a thirsty land.
-
You know what happened when you pour water on a thirsty land?
-
Absorb it like that.
-
Like that.
-
This is the thirst that the Lord wants for us in our hearts, in our bellies.
-
The word of God.
-
And it's also the bread that quench our hunger.
-
Imperative.
-
It's important that we keep meditating in the word of God.
-
I'll go ahead, baby, sorry.
-
Meditating in the works of God.
-
Anything that you're going for for today.
-
What you're going through today, well, can God do this?
-
When you go back and meditate in the word of God and you and you hear all the things that God did, do you believe the word of God?
-
I'm asking, do you believe in the word of God?
-
So then if he opened up the Red Sea, is there anything impossible for God?
-
If he resurrected Lazarus when he was already stinky, is there anything impossible for God?
-
And he raised up the daughter of Jairo after she was dead.
-
Is there anything impossible for God?
-
What is your impossibility today?
-
What is it that you're looking at today?
-
The meditation is not in your condition.
-
The meditation is in who God is.
-
That you might observe to do according to what is written.
-
Oh sorry, yes.
-
According to everything that is what written escrito.
-
Ephesians 5 10.
-
It's a verse that I always keep it on the chamber.
-
Ready to go.
-
Ready to go every single time.
-
Because guess what?
-
Carefully we have to determine what is pleasing unto God.
-
You cannot understand what is pleasing unto God if you don't understand who God is.
-
Referring back to what?
-
Communion.
-
The only way that you would understand who God is is when you spend time with them.
-
Now by raising hands, how many want to be prosperous?
-
I want to be prosperous.
-
And you will be the of good what?
-
Success.
-
I want to be successful.
-
Lord, give me everything you have for me, Lord.
-
Lord, even the things that I don't think I can have given to me.
-
Lord, even the things that people say that I shouldn't have given to me.
-
Sorry.
-
Give it to me.
-
Whatever it is.
-
If the Lord give it, I want it.
-
Give it to me.
-
Whatever it is.
-
But we shouldn't be looking at those things.
-
Okay, you do that.
-
I will be looking at what the Lord wants to give me.
-
And I run to what He says that I should run to.
-
There, meditation in the world.
-
Look at the difference.
-
Meditation on the world is about self.
-
It's about self.
-
How great I am.
-
To make me feel good.
-
To find methods of relaxation.
-
Relajamiento.
-
Of emptying the mind.
-
Free of worries.
-
You're useless, Nacho.
-
I mean, you want to empty yourself from everything, from the world, from everything.
-
Should not have worries.
-
That's not what Jesus called us to do.
-
Jesus called us to take up a cross.
-
Jesus calls us to to be a What is the word?
-
I got it.
-
Don't help me.
-
Jesus called us to be partakers with him in the kingdom.
-
Help me.
-
Participants.
-
Participantes.
-
With him in the kingdom.
-
And we want to do nothing.
-
I want to empty my mind and empty from everything.
-
No, it's not meditation in the word.
-
No, no, meditation of the devil.
-
It's a fake peace.
-
That's not the fake, the peace of the Lord.
-
Let me give you meditation according to the scripture.
-
It's an active thinking.
-
Very, very different than emptying your mind.
-
It's an active thinking.
-
Process centered entirely in God.
-
His character and his word.
-
Instead of emptying the mind or turning inward.
-
But if there is no essence of the book, there's no power.
-
Very imperative that we read the word.
-
Meditate in the word meditemos in the palabra.
-
Walk in the word.
-
Biblical meditation fills the mind with divine truth.
-
With divine truth to deepen, to deep, make it make it rooted, a personal relationship with God.
-
Deepens a personal relationship with God.
-
To guide their daily lives.
-
Look what John 7.38 says.
-
He who believes in me according to grammar, whatever.
-
Anti lupe.
-
Anti uncle.
-
No, according to what?
-
No, de acuerdo a qué?
-
According to what?
-
According to what?
-
Do you have it right there?
-
As the scripture has said.
-
Who believes in me according to the scripture?
-
Out of his heart will flow rivers of living waters.
-
Out of his heart.
-
Flow flow like rivers of living waters.
-
The joy, the joy that comes upon you.
-
It's nothing but the flow of the spirit.
-
Now, I know I don't have much time, but how do we do this?
-
And I'm going to just read this.
-
Reading, pick a verse, read slowly, do it again.
-
Lee un versiculous.
-
Read to feed, not to blow yourself up.
-
Lee para que te alimentes, no para que te hagas tu cabeza grande.
-
Better is one verse with wise application than one hundred with no action.
-
That was good with wise application.
-
In the meditation, you discover the application.
-
Screensavers.
-
If you have more social media apps than Bible, you have a condition.
-
It's called non biblical cell phone application.
-
I don't know.
-
It's una condition muy seria.
-
You know, uh it's crazy in Matthew 18 6, what it says, if your right eye costs you for you to sin, what it says, couch it out.
-
That's not literal.
-
Because it's speaking about the condition of the heart.
-
So please don't grab yourself and go throw it away.
-
But it's saying that check your heart.
-
From there, you got you have the desire.
-
To do whatever it is that you want to do.
-
Whether it is a phone, electronics, electronics, a gun, the the item is not the problem.
-
The problem is the condition of the heart.
-
If your heart is full with the word, what is gonna emanate from it is gonna be only godly things.
-
We have to be people of the book.
-
We can be people of emotions.
-
We can't be people of just like, oh, well, yeah, they say, this say, he say, Well, what do you think about this?
-
What do you think about that?
-
Then people come and ask me sometimes, well, what do you think about this?
-
Well, let me let me say, espérame, déjame busco, déjame busco.
-
I like that.
-
No, no, no, no, no, but what do you think?
-
No, no, pero I think what he thinks.
-
If he doesn't think it, I don't even want it.
-
I don't even look for ways in.
-
If it's not in the Bible, I don't want it.
-
And this doesn't mean like, oh, Marty's perfect.
-
No.
-
No.
-
What I'm saying to you is that every time that someone comes and asks something, Lord, you lead me to your word.
-
It's the first thing that comes into your heart.
-
Let me tell you what my grandma used to do.
-
No, it's what the book says.
-
Now, let me just finish here because I know.
-
Read Revelation 5.
-
I've been reading Revelation 5, and I just meditated on that and just fire.
-
John 17 17.
-
Sanctify them by your truth, your word is true.
-
The Lord is asking, Jesus is asking the Lord.
-
The word is truth.
-
Now let me tell you one thing.
-
Let's make the connection.
-
John 1 14.
-
And the word became the word.
-
Became flesh.
-
And we beheld his glory.
-
The glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and what?
-
Full of grace and truth.
-
The Bible says, You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
-
You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
-
It's not the way we see it.
-
Oh, you know what the Bible says, oh I know, I know, I know.
-
You don't know.
-
You know what the Bible says?
-
When he says you shall know the truth, the truth shall set you free.
-
You're speaking about an intimate connection.
-
Of one between a man and a woman.
-
Don't go weird here.
-
Because that's not what I'm saying.
-
I'm speaking about knowing each other so deeply.
-
In tune, in love.
-
And David says, Your law, Lord, how I love your law.
-
He was looking at the text.
-
But he was speaking about Jesus.
-
How I love Jesus, Lord.
-
How I love him, I haven't seen him yet.
-
But I want to see him.
-
You see him through this book.
-
Don't look for Jesus anywhere else.
-
When we say he's here, that guy says all the time, he's here.
-
Oh yeah, he's here.
-
In multiple ways.
-
Man, he loves you.
-
You have no idea.
-
This is a love letter.
-
When you learn to read the love letter from your bridegroom.
-
And you understand the text.
-
Oh, how much I love you.
-
Look what I did for you.
-
I bought you.
-
I bought you.
-
You belong to somebody.
-
You know what it means to be bought.
-
You don't belong to yourself no more.
-
You belong to him.
-
Amen.
