  6. Good morning Hub City Vineyard.

  7. It's Stephen and I'm here with Miss Jocelyn.

  8. Hello.

  9. And we are having our next testimony video for this Build Back series.

  10. So Miss Jocelyn, in what ways do you serve here at Hub City Vineyard?

  11. Okay, so I serve at two different places.

  12. I serve with the children and at the cafe.

  13. Cafe is important.

  14. Yes, it really is.

  15. So is the kids.

  16. So is the kids.

  17. The coffee for sure.

  18. Everyone needs a little, a little pick me up in the morning.

  19. How did you get into serving here?

  20. I had been coming to Hub City for a few years and when we finally moved into our new building

  21. that we are in now, Chris was speaking about serving and how we just don't have a ton of

  22. people helping out so I felt called to do that and to go into that room and sign up.

  23. I actually signed up for like too many things because I didn't realize I was going to do

  24. them all.

  25. But then I did end up being like, oh maybe just two then.

  26. So I ended up with the kids and with coffee.

  27. That's cool.

  28. Kids and cafe can both be stressful in different ways.

  29. Like why do you serve?

  30. Like what makes you keep wanting to come back?

  31. Because I grew up serving others.

  32. Like in my family, we come from a big family so we're always helping each other out even

  33. if it's like the littlest tiniest thing or if it's like moving someone into a new house.

  34. So I've always had that fire to do that.

  35. I've always wanted to and I feel like if I'm not serving, I'm bored and I feel like I'm

  36. not doing anything.

  37. So I feel like I need a good little balance of both.

  38. That's cool.

  39. People in our church that are sort of on edge about whether to serve or not, whether to

  40. go to team up or not, what advice would you give to them?

  41. I would say definitely take just a second, even if it's a second right there while they're

  42. talking about it and just pray about it, think about it.

  43. What else?

  44. I feel like our church is really good about accommodating us because I am a mom, I'm a

  45. wife, I have a job so I have a lot on my plate.

  46. So I feel like I'm still able to do as much as I can without being overwhelmed because

  47. I feel like the church is very accommodating for that.

  48. So I never feel like overwhelmed if I can't do it or if I have to but at least I know

  49. at least once a month or twice a month I'm helping out.

  50. And yeah, just I've never really felt pressured to do it.

  51. It was more of just like, you know, something inside of me was saying, you need to go do

  52. that, just do it.

  53. That's awesome.

  54. And it's cool that depending on the season, you can do more, do less, just depending on

  55. what your needs are.

  56. Yeah.

  57. That's really cool.

  58. That's been good.

  59. Well, thank you, Miss Jocelyn.

  60. Thank you, Hub City Venue for listening.

  61. And we encourage you to go to each month's team up and get involved and start serving.

  62. Yes.

  63. So, yeah, I feel like it'll be good for you.

  64. Peace.

  65. Yeah.

  66. There's no impossible.

  67. I believe that you are working now.

  68. Pour it out.

  69. Oh, pour it out.
