  5. in your life, text CHANGEME to 9700. Thank you

  6. and enjoy the message. And we have an extra special

  7. treat for you on Mother's Day. Jess, why don't

  8. you introduce? We have my friend Noelle Rhodes.

  9. She was at the women's event on Friday night.

  10. Noelle, if you want to come out. Yes, Noelle

  11. is from Bagel Land. So she is from New Jersey.

  12. So she is my Jersey friend and happens to be

  13. the sister -in -law of Sherry Rand. She is a

  14. comedian. She is a podcaster. She is a pastor

  15. and a preacher. And she is just so full of the

  16. Spirit of God. And she just delivers in such

  17. an authentic way that I knew that I wanted to

  18. have you here with us this weekend. And so I

  19. am so honored to share the stage with you because

  20. you're such a gift. And she's a mom. And she's

  21. going to tell you all about that. So welcome,

  22. Noelle. Noelle Rhodes. Hey, welcome to the 1005

  23. service, or what I like to call Hunger Games

  24. Church Parking Lot Edition. Right? If you found

  25. a space today, you are favored from God. Wow,

  26. I'm looking at all you guys, and you are gorgeous.

  27. I mean, this is a good -looking group. I was

  28. just talking to someone out there who told me

  29. that she graduated in 1987 from Williamsport

  30. High School, and she looked like she was 16 years

  31. old. And, you know, I do tell people this. I

  32. mentioned this on Friday, that my husband is

  33. pretty good -looking, and he's from this area.

  34. And my sister -in -law, you've seen her. She's

  35. stunning, right? Sherry is gorgeous. And I thought

  36. it was jeans, but I'm pretty sure it's your water.

  37. It's the Potomac River. I'm going to stick my

  38. face in the Potomac River before I leave. I am

  39. throwing away all my snail mucin and I'm bottling

  40. up that water because you guys are good looking.

  41. I am a missionary turned stand -up comedian,

  42. which is a little weird, I know. And as I mentioned

  43. before, I've been married for 22 years. That's

  44. not a brag. That's Jesus, okay? And therapy and

  45. investing in a California king bed, all right?

  46. I like to just be real and be honest because

  47. sometimes speakers come and they're like, oh,

  48. I've been happily married. Our family is perfect.

  49. That's not true here, okay? I know that I'm hard

  50. work. And I know that those 22 years haven't

  51. all been happy. And, you know, partly because

  52. I'm always driving my husband nuts with how much

  53. I overshare to strangers. Anybody the oversharer

  54. in the relationship? I see some hands. I see

  55. a hand. I see a hand. Okay. Recently, my husband

  56. said to me, he's like, why are you telling the

  57. Amazon delivery guy that you are low on progesterone?

  58. And I was like, Troy, we see him every single

  59. day, okay? It was time. And this is for his safety,

  60. all right? All the women who are going through

  61. perinatal menopause, right, you're saying amen,

  62. right? Because it makes us crazy. We need this

  63. progesterone in our body. All right. So he is

  64. from this area. He graduated from Williamsport

  65. High School. Anybody? Okay. Go Wildcats. He was

  66. very supportive of me coming here. He said, Noel,

  67. I'm so happy you're preaching on Sunday. He couldn't

  68. be here with me today. But he's like, please,

  69. please, please remember my family lives there,

  70. okay? like just behave right and I mean I'll

  71. be honest you I am not a wife of noble character

  72. I'm a wife that's trying really hard that's what

  73. I'm doing you know but we've been married and

  74. we've got two gorgeous kids okay two teenagers

  75. I'm obsessed with them they're mildly interested

  76. in me Which is fine, you know, I've accepted.

  77. I'm just the unpaid Uber driver is what I am

  78. to them. But I love them, love them dearly. And

  79. the last thing you know about me is that, as

  80. Jess mentioned earlier, I am from New Jersey.

  81. For which I say, I'm sorry. That's all I can

  82. say, I'm sorry. I grew up in a very Italian -American...

  83. very Christian home in New Jersey, okay? So my

  84. childhood was basically a crossover episode of

  85. The Chosen and The Sopranos. Okay? Like, we love

  86. Jesus, but we also know a guy who knows a guy

  87. that can get you a really good deal on a new

  88. car. You know what I mean? My mom's name is Patty.

  89. And nobody loves Jesus like Patty loves Jesus.

  90. But let me tell you something about my mom. She's

  91. five foot. I think she'd want me to say that

  92. she's five foot one because she's doing Pilates

  93. now. But she's five foot, and she's a little

  94. scary, all right? Like, I think she'd give Jesus

  95. a hard time if she thought she needed to. I always

  96. think about this. Like, if I was one of the 12

  97. disciples, she'd be calling me every single day,

  98. okay? And she'd be like, Noel, where are you?

  99. Oh. You're with him healing lepers. Okay, put

  100. him on the phone right now, please. Hi, Jesus,

  101. it's Patty. Listen to me. If my daughter gets

  102. leprosy, so help me God, your Father in heaven,

  103. I will lose my mind. And you will have to come

  104. and heal me. Capisce? Capisce. That is my mom.

  105. I do make fun of my mom a lot in my stand -up.

  106. She's very gracious. But today is Mother's Day,

  107. and I do want to honor her. And I want to tell

  108. you that my mom, she just really believes in

  109. people and believes that God is for people no

  110. matter what. And when I was nine years old, we

  111. were in a church, and a teenage girl became pregnant.

  112. Now, this was the 90s, okay? And the church decided

  113. they were going to kick out this girl from the

  114. church. And my mother was like over my dead body.

  115. And she actually threw that girl a baby shower,

  116. helped her get through nursing school, and was

  117. by her side when she gave birth to her baby daughter.

  118. So basically, my mom is a bad for Jesus, okay?

  119. And I just want to say that because I give her

  120. a hard time. I really do. She's awesome. My dad,

  121. people always ask me, like, what's your dad like?

  122. Is he kind of like Mafiosa with, like, you know,

  123. the hair coming out of the shirt and the gold

  124. chains? My dad is an accountant who writes poetry,

  125. okay? and collects art, all right? Yeah, so like

  126. when people are like, how did you get into stand

  127. -up? I'm just telling them about my parents,

  128. and they're like, okay, that checks out. You've

  129. got a weird life, yeah. My parents were just

  130. some crazy cats. They got saved in the Jesus

  131. movement in the 70s. Anybody here get saved during

  132. that time? Anybody at all? No, oh, see, there's

  133. always a hippie that's ready to be like, I was

  134. there. They got saved, they raised me, and they

  135. told me all, about Jesus. And I just, I always

  136. like to tell that to people so they understand

  137. where I'm coming from. Like I know the Jersey

  138. Jesus, you know, just tells it like it is. But

  139. my parents told me about Jesus and I'm so very,

  140. very thankful and that I even get to tell you

  141. about Jesus today. And this is going to be the

  142. second part of the Inked series. Did anybody,

  143. was anybody here last week? It was good. I listened

  144. to it. Chris did a great job. But before we get

  145. into that, I want to let you know I want to confess

  146. something to you. I don't have any tattoos, okay?

  147. I think this might be the first time I walked

  148. into a church and I feel judged for not having

  149. any tattoos. Now, I saw a sign that said, come

  150. as you are, okay? I don't have any tattoos. I

  151. just have weird moles, all right? So I'm really

  152. sorry about that. I do think about, you know,

  153. maybe getting a tattoo one day. What I'd like

  154. to get is my Wi -Fi password tattooed on my arm

  155. because I have more screenshots of that on my

  156. phone than pictures of my children. Anybody else?

  157. Okay. Yeah. But, yeah, I'm really excited to

  158. talk to you about tattoos because I find them

  159. fascinating. Someone has decided to permanently

  160. put something on their body. And that's a big

  161. deal. There's a story behind that, right? And

  162. the reason why I find that so important is I

  163. really want to tell you today, I'm just going

  164. to give you the punchline right from the get

  165. -go. I want to tell you that knowing that you

  166. are permanently Jesus's, that you belong to him,

  167. will change your perspective when you are going

  168. through a storm. And I'm going to be talking

  169. to people today who are going through some storms

  170. right now. Now, before we get into the story

  171. I'm about to tell you, I got to tell you the

  172. pre -story. Is that okay? This is the prequel

  173. part of this story. But basically what happens

  174. is Jesus is with his disciples, and he's teaching,

  175. and there's a huge crowd. Thousands of people

  176. are there, okay? And they've been listening to

  177. Jesus for such a long time. that they get a little

  178. bit hungry. Anybody hear the story of the five

  179. loaves and two fish? Okay. If you haven't, that's

  180. okay. I'm going to tell it real quick. But basically

  181. Jesus is teaching and all these people are hungry

  182. and there's nowhere to feed them. There's no

  183. food. There's nothing. And Jesus turns to his

  184. disciples and said, where can we buy some bread?

  185. And they're like, we do not have enough money

  186. to buy these people bread. But then one of the

  187. disciples said, hey, there's a kid here with

  188. five loaves and two fish. And Jesus takes that

  189. little Lunchable and feeds thousands and thousands

  190. of people with it. It's amazing, right? That's

  191. amazing. I'm actually more impressed that thousands

  192. of hangry people were together and did not kill

  193. each other. I think that's the miracle, okay?

  194. But Jesus does this amazing miracle of provision,

  195. and everybody's really excited about it. It says

  196. that the people were like, this could be the

  197. prophet. And in fact, Jesus knew that he was

  198. getting kind of popular. The scriptures actually

  199. say that he withdrew because he knew they wanted

  200. to force him to become king. It says that in

  201. John 6. So he withdrew and his disciples, you

  202. know, they gathered the 12 loaves of bread that

  203. was left, the 12 baskets of bread that was left

  204. over. And they're waiting for Jesus. Because

  205. there's a plan to go to Capernaum, and to go

  206. to Capernaum, which is kind of like their home

  207. base, they have to cross a lake, a pretty big

  208. lake, okay? So I want to just quickly read to

  209. you, we can read it together actually, the scripture

  210. of what we're going to talk about today. John

  211. 6, starting with verse 16. When evening came,

  212. this is after the big awesome miracle, His disciples

  213. went down to the sea, got into a boat, and started

  214. across the sea to Capernaum. Darkness had already

  215. set in, but Jesus had not yet come to them. A

  216. high wind arose and the sea began to churn. After

  217. they had rowed about three or four miles, they

  218. saw Jesus walking on the sea. He was coming near

  219. the boat and they were afraid. But he said to

  220. them, it is I. Don't be afraid. Then they were

  221. willing to take him on board, and at once the

  222. boat was at the shore where they were heading.

  223. Sometimes, sometimes we know that God has called

  224. us to something. Has anyone ever been given a

  225. vision what God wants them to do or God wants

  226. them to go or something they know that God is

  227. going to have? And it's on the other side. Anybody

  228. hear what I'm talking about? And you're waiting

  229. and you're waiting and you're waiting and like

  230. Jesus hasn't come yet. So you start to row without

  231. him. And in this case, that's what happened with

  232. the disciples. And I always wonder, I'm like,

  233. why did they leave Jesus behind, you know? But

  234. I'm sure they were like, you know, probably somebody's

  235. going to give him a ride, you know? And everybody

  236. was really excited about Jesus. They were leaving

  237. like a really high mountaintop moment. And that

  238. is something that a lot of us who have been walking

  239. with the Lord know we're talking about. Like

  240. you've seen God do some cool things. God has

  241. set people free from addiction. God has restored

  242. marriages. God has miraculously, provided. And

  243. so you are like, all right, awesome. I see where

  244. I'm supposed to go. I'm just going to get on

  245. that boat and go. But Jesus was not in the boat.

  246. And that's kind of fine, you know, to row and

  247. row and row, especially because some of these

  248. disciples were fishermen. I mean, it wasn't like

  249. outside their skill set. They knew what to do.

  250. But rowing and rowing and rowing is fine until

  251. you hit a storm. And sometimes when we hit a

  252. storm in life, like losing a job, marital crisis,

  253. taking care of a parent who is dying, and the

  254. storm comes completely out of nowhere, you start

  255. to feel exhausted. And you're kind of going,

  256. wait a second, Lord. What gives? Why is this

  257. storm happening right now? I just saw you do

  258. amazing things in my life. I saw miracles, and

  259. now I'm stuck in the middle of a storm that I

  260. cannot control. Is anybody with me today? Do

  261. you know what I'm talking about? Because let

  262. me tell you something. Storms don't RSVP. They

  263. just show up, okay? They're like your neighbor's

  264. three -year -old who shows up on your lawn with

  265. a popsicle and no pants on, okay? They don't,

  266. they're not waiting for the invitation, and that's

  267. like the storm. You're like, where did this come

  268. from? I want to tell you about a time in my life

  269. with my husband when we were... deciding to become

  270. missionaries to Northern Ireland. And it was

  271. 2009. It was the middle of a recession. And people

  272. were like, you are never going to raise enough

  273. money to be missionaries in the UK. And my husband

  274. is a man of faith. And he was like, you know

  275. what, babe, we're just going to buy the tickets

  276. to go and we're going to. We're going to believe

  277. that God is going to provide. And I was like,

  278. wow, you're crazy. Okay. But I guess this is

  279. what we're going to do. And so we bought the

  280. tickets. And the very next day, a check was mailed

  281. to us that covered everything we needed to be

  282. able to go to North Ireland. Isn't that amazing?

  283. That is a miracle of provision, right? We moved

  284. to Northern Ireland. We leave our family and

  285. friends back in Jersey. We take our two babies

  286. to Northern Ireland. We work for a church and

  287. an organization that had been around for 20 years

  288. serving the children in Northern Ireland only

  289. to have to shut it down one year that we were

  290. in there. There was some sin that was happening

  291. in the church leadership and it was exposed.

  292. And actually, we did not realize it, but we were

  293. in the middle of a storm. And we had to close

  294. the church and the ministry down one year into

  295. being on mission. I was like, what? I was in

  296. the middle of a storm. I didn't know what was

  297. going on. I mean, for years, Sherry knows this.

  298. For years, we had been wanting to move to Northern

  299. Ireland. We finally get the moxie to go. We finally

  300. get the provision. And then one year later, it's

  301. over. And at that time, my son was three years

  302. old. He wasn't speaking. We did not know what

  303. was going on. I talked a little bit about that

  304. on Friday. I mean, it was like wave after wave

  305. after wave. And I was like, hey, babe, you know

  306. what we should do? Let's just go back to New

  307. Jersey and be like Starbucks baristas. I'm done.

  308. Like I don't want to, I just don't want to like

  309. do the ministry thing anymore. I don't know what

  310. God was calling us to, but I guess it wasn't

  311. this. Because I was like so tired of the storm.

  312. And I know there's people in this room right

  313. now who are feeling major discouragement because

  314. you believe that God has called you to something,

  315. but you are stuck in the middle, and you do not

  316. know how to get out. And that's how I really

  317. felt. It was really a really rough time. And

  318. I was trying to kind of make it work, and I was

  319. getting more exhausted, like the disciples who

  320. were rowing for three to four miles. I wasn't

  321. getting anywhere. And then what I started to

  322. experience, which I think a lot of us do when

  323. we're in the middle of a storm, is fear. I started

  324. to become afraid. Like, what bad thing is going

  325. to happen next? Do you hear what I'm saying?

  326. I did not know what was coming. And I really

  327. feel like one of the things that happens to a

  328. lot of us is we experience fear, and it clouds

  329. our vision of who Jesus is. You see, Jesus started

  330. to walk on the water to those disciples, and

  331. they did not recognize him. It says that as he

  332. walked towards them, they were afraid. I remember

  333. being in that season, and I felt like I had heard

  334. God wrong. I felt like I was not qualified to

  335. be in ministry. I felt like it was a big joke.

  336. I didn't want to tell anybody back home because

  337. there were people supporting us, and I want to

  338. be like, hey, remember when we were working at

  339. that church? That's over. We had nowhere else

  340. to go. I was so deeply discouraged. My friend

  341. Lori called me, and she lived in a different

  342. city in Northern Ireland, in Derry, London Derry.

  343. She was also a missionary, and she said to me,

  344. Noelle, I have a word for you. And she goes,

  345. I feel like you are in the middle of a tornado.

  346. And all the furniture has been up. Your house

  347. is uprooted. Everything is kind of flying around,

  348. flying around, flying around. But I want you

  349. to know when the storm stops, all the pieces

  350. are going to be in place. And when she told me

  351. that, honestly, I was like, I don't want to be

  352. in the tornado. Right? But I knew that something

  353. about what she was saying was right. Jesus walks

  354. towards these disciples. They were afraid. And

  355. he says something really important. He says,

  356. it is I. Don't be afraid. Now, this is really

  357. important because that phrase, it is I, is translated

  358. in the ancient Greek as ego eimi, which means

  359. I. I am. Now God said that to Moses at the burning

  360. bush when Moses was like, who should I tell the

  361. people is sending me? And God said, tell them

  362. I am sent you. That is the name of which God

  363. calls himself because he is all things that we

  364. will ever need. He is the beginning. He is the

  365. end. He is above. He is before. He is. Over every

  366. single thing, he is the great I am. And the God

  367. who was talking to Moses at the burning bush

  368. is now walking on the water to these disciples

  369. who quickly forgot of the great miracle they

  370. just experienced and we're now in the middle

  371. of a storm and we're afraid. And you know what

  372. I want to say to some of us here who are in that

  373. storm, who's feeling afraid? You're feeling a

  374. little bit of shame because you're like, I should

  375. know better. I should know better. But you know

  376. what? read the gospels, those disciples, they

  377. should have known better a lot of times, right?

  378. But Jesus is not on the shoreline going, oh,

  379. these guys, come on. No, he is walking towards

  380. them and he's saying, I am here. And then they

  381. led him into the boat. This part of the story

  382. reminded me of something, okay? It's a story.

  383. About when I was nine months pregnant, and it

  384. was Christmas time. This was a long time ago.

  385. And I don't know about you, but when you're nine

  386. months pregnant, you don't want to do anything.

  387. You just want to sit and do nothing. And my dad,

  388. my sweet dad, who likes to collect art and write

  389. poetry, he said, I'm going to make the Christmas

  390. gift easy this year for you. I have got this

  391. original artwork commissioned, this painting

  392. right here, and it was about this big. Not big.

  393. He's like, all you got to do is just have it

  394. framed for me for Christmas. And I was like,

  395. easy peasy. You know, that's awesome. And I remember

  396. it was a Sunday and my husband said, do you want

  397. to come with me to, you know, get a Christmas

  398. tree? I said, nope, nope. I'm going to go get

  399. this picture framed and it's going to be done

  400. with because my dad's hard to shop for. And he

  401. said, cool. And he left and I went to go look

  402. for the picture, the painting, and it was gone.

  403. This is an original artwork commissioned. For

  404. my father. And I panicked, okay? I'm nine months

  405. pregnant, running from room to room, looking

  406. for this painting, cannot find it anywhere. Now

  407. what you need to know is at the time we were

  408. youth pastors and we were living on the church

  409. property, and there was a dumpster outside. And

  410. I thought, surely the painting is in there. So

  411. me and my nine -month body, which basically looks

  412. like a cheese ball on two toothpicks, okay? We

  413. push. We, I'm talking in third person. I pushed

  414. the chair up against the dumpster. I jumped in

  415. the dumpster, starting to look for this painting.

  416. And not very long goes by, and the lid to the

  417. dumpster falls down. And I am trapped in that

  418. dumpster. with some squirrels and possums, okay?

  419. I was freaking out and they were like crawling

  420. up. It was like so horrible, okay? And I believe

  421. that Jesus is real because my nine -month pregnant

  422. cheeseball body was able to jump out of that

  423. dumpster and get out of there as fast as I could.

  424. And I'm like crying. I got like scratches on

  425. my face. It was so weird. But I walked into the

  426. house. I look on the dining room table and there's

  427. the painting. And so, I get it framed and I give

  428. it to my dad on Christmas. And I was like, I

  429. got a funny story about this one. And I tell

  430. my dad about what I did. And you know, he doesn't

  431. laugh. He goes, I don't think that's funny at

  432. all. He goes, you're my daughter. You belong

  433. to me. You could have just called me and I'd

  434. come and help you find it. And I always thought

  435. about that. Because I think a lot of us find

  436. ourselves in really... Panic situations. We're

  437. in the storm. We don't know what to do. We don't

  438. know how to help that child with addiction. We

  439. don't know how to get out of the financial pressure

  440. that we're under. And we're just scrambling like

  441. we're in a dumpster. And we forget that we have

  442. a father. We have a God, the great I am, that

  443. is willing to get into the boat with us. Do you

  444. hear what I'm saying? You don't have to clean

  445. that boat before he gets in. You don't have to

  446. have that reason, like an excuse for like, okay,

  447. Jesus, this is why the storm is happening. Just

  448. so you know, it's not my fault. I didn't know.

  449. No, he already knows. And he's walking towards

  450. you today. He does not care that you've been

  451. doubting. He's going to make that productive

  452. doubt in your life. And he's going to reveal

  453. himself to you and say, I am here. And you're

  454. going to let them in that chaos. You're going

  455. to let them into that boat. You're going to navigate

  456. that storm. And guess what? You are going to

  457. get to the other side immediately. I had the

  458. privilege of being able to pick the tattoo that

  459. we're going to talk about today. And I really

  460. loved it. Because I picked this passage before

  461. I picked this tattoo. It's from Lauren Shu. I

  462. don't know if she's here today, but if you are,

  463. I'd love to meet you afterwards. She writes this.

  464. You ready for this? Buckle your ears. In early

  465. 2016, my family faced the devastating tragedy

  466. of divorce. Talk about a storm. As a mom of two

  467. very young boys, I had no idea how to face this

  468. new reality as I battled deep depression, dark

  469. thoughts, and utter hopelessness. Some of us

  470. can relate to that right now. To make matters

  471. worse, we were forced to sell our home and faced

  472. a period of homelessness in the process. As time

  473. went on, I found God showing up in all my dark

  474. places and reminding me that I was held. Not

  475. a week went by that I wasn't approached by someone

  476. I did not know to pray for myself and my children.

  477. God also spoke to me through my Avengers -obsessed

  478. sons. God uses everything, okay? And they reminded

  479. me that everyday superheroes don't necessarily

  480. look like they have super strength or they fly

  481. or carry shields and hammers. They whisper words

  482. of encouragement. positivity, and show tremendous

  483. bravery despite their situation or circumstance.

  484. The strength, adaptability, and perseverance

  485. my children showed during this time gave me a

  486. new hope and inspiration to keep going and keep

  487. showing up. Here's the good part. In the summer

  488. of 2016, I was baptized in the Potomac River,

  489. which we know keeps you young, of fresh starts

  490. and a change. In 2019, I got this tattoo to honor

  491. the superheroes who helped me through one of

  492. the darkest times in my life and never let me

  493. forget that their mom is their Wonder Woman.

  494. Shortly after, I began to use my testimony to

  495. inspire others through Divorce Care Group here

  496. at HCV. And my story is proof that what the enemy

  497. wanted to use to harm us, God used for good.

  498. Okay. You know what? God did not wait for Lauren

  499. to get it all together before he started showing

  500. up. You hear what I'm saying? God is not waiting

  501. for you to get it all together, to have the right

  502. mindset. He is already on the water, and he is

  503. telling you he is the great I am, and he wants

  504. you to receive that today because that's where

  505. the peace is. And what I want us to do is I really

  506. want us to do some serious prayer. Because I

  507. hear that this church believes in the power of

  508. prayer. Correct? And look, there are people in

  509. this room that have been feeling really discouraged.

  510. And they need us to pray for them. And there

  511. are people that I know that God wants to set

  512. free from the fear of the storm that they're

  513. in. And to give them that confidence and that

  514. strength to be in that boat with him because

  515. he's going to get them to the other side. There's

  516. no other ending, right, Patricia? You're getting

  517. to the other side. And you're going to be like

  518. Lauren telling your story about how God showed

  519. up for you in the most darkest place. Guess what?

  520. It was scary, but he got you through. And he's

  521. going to show you how to turn your anxiety into

  522. anthems of prayer and praise. You're not going

  523. to be in that boat freaking out. You're going

  524. to be on that boat holding Jesus' hand with your

  525. eyes focused, and you are going to see him fulfill

  526. the purposes that he has placed in your life.

  527. You're not crazy, by the way. He really did speak

  528. to you, but you got to go through these storms.

  529. He's going to use them in your life to mature

  530. you and strengthen you, but you will not be overwhelmed

  531. or you will not drown in those storms, okay?

  532. So here's what I want to do, okay? I want us

  533. to pray. And if you are someone here this morning

  534. who is feeling very discouraged, particularly

  535. about your calling because you're in this storm

  536. and you feel like the storm is holding you back

  537. from what you feel like God wants you to do,

  538. I want you to either stand or raise your hand,

  539. whatever you feel comfortable doing, and the

  540. people around you are going to pray for you that

  541. God would give you a revelation that you are

  542. permanently his. And this storm doesn't change

  543. that. And the doubt that you've been experiencing

  544. doesn't change that. Okay? So that's you. If

  545. you've been feeling discouraged, that you haven't

  546. seen God's purposes fulfilled in your life because

  547. you're in this storm, I want you to stand or

  548. raise your hand. Okay? Awesome. If you are someone

  549. who is in a storm right now, and you feel a lot

  550. of fear and your vision of who Jesus is in your

  551. life feels clouded and muddy, I want you to stand

  552. or raise your hand because God is going to make

  553. it very clear that he is the great I am. So just

  554. stand or raise your hand, okay? Now, if you are

  555. somebody who is not in a storm right now, but

  556. you know and you love Jesus, I want you to get

  557. around those people. And I want as many people

  558. as possible, by the way, okay? If you've got

  559. to cross an aisle, go and pray and lay hands

  560. on these folks. Because guess what? You've been

  561. in a storm. You know what it's like. And we believe

  562. in the power of prayer. Yeah, there's some people

  563. over here that need prayer. Is everybody covered?

  564. Does everybody have a? We're just waiting now.

  565. As many people as possible. If you still need

  566. a prayer partner, just raise your hand. If you

  567. still need somebody to get around you, make sure

  568. we get everybody back there in the back. Come

  569. Holy Spirit. Jesus, I thank you that you are

  570. in this room right now. There's no doubt about

  571. that. I thank you that you are the great I am.

  572. I thank you, Lord, that we are yours. We are

  573. yours, even when we try to do things on our own.

  574. We are yours, even when the storms hit. And Lord,

  575. I thank you that the purposes that you have for

  576. our lives will not be derailed by the storms

  577. that we're going through right now. And God,

  578. I pray for the people who have stood up, who

  579. have raised their hands. I pray, Lord, that they

  580. would hear you speak to them and say, it is I,

  581. do not be afraid. I pray, Lord, that you would

  582. break off shame. I pray that you would break

  583. off fear. And I pray that you would give them

  584. a clear vision of who you are. They do not need

  585. to know what's going to happen next. Lord, I

  586. pray they would just know who you are, Jesus.

  587. And I pray that would be the picture in their

  588. mind. That would be the hope, Lord, that they

  589. find. And Lord, I thank you for what you are

  590. going to do because you are going to get them

  591. to the other side because they belong to you,

  592. Jesus. They are permanently yours, God. So Lord,

  593. as a church, we just say thank you for doing

  594. this, Lord. We believe that you will do it in

  595. your powerful, powerful name, Jesus. Amen. Amen.

  596. Amen. And you can continue if you still are getting

  597. ministered to. Continue to pray. It's just a

  598. beautiful picture of the family of God, just

  599. the way you're loving and supporting each other

  600. through prayer. And thank you, Noelle, for that

  601. powerful message. If you're here today and you

  602. don't know who Jesus is, if you don't know the

  603. great I am in your life, and you're like, I...

  604. I hear what she said, but I just, I'm not sure.

  605. And you're ready to jump in the boat or you're

  606. ready to allow Jesus to get in your boat. We

  607. just pray this simple prayer here at the vineyard.

  608. And we can all pray it together if you're more

  609. than welcome. If you'd like to pray with me.

  610. Jesus, I'm broken, full of doubt, shame, regret,

  611. fear. I believe. You're God's son. I believe

  612. you're the great I am. Come into my life. Set

  613. me free. Heal my heart. Forgive me. I want new

  614. life. I want to follow you for the rest of my

  615. life. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Amen. And

  616. we have a few words of knowledge today. If you

  617. are struggling with nerve damage or sciatica,

  618. if that's you, we have the prayer team over here

  619. on the side of the stage. People are still here

  620. to pray for you. If you have a ringing in your

  621. ears, we had a word that somebody might have

  622. ringing in their ears, come over and get prayer.

  623. If there's prayer that you need for something

  624. else, don't leave this house of miracles today

  625. without receiving from God. You came here today

  626. for a purpose and a plan, and God does not want

  627. you to leave without experiencing his presence.

  628. All right? Thank you. All right. Everybody can

  629. stand. Moms, thank you so much for sharing your

  630. Mother's Day with us. Thank you for the people

  631. who brought the moms today. We have mimosas out

  632. in the cafe. We also have temporary tattoos.

  633. And we are just... So excited to celebrate with

  634. you today. I can't wait till next week. We're

  635. going to continue the Inc. series. Have a great

  636. day. God bless you and see you later. Love you.
