  1. I remember hearing that song for the first time. When I first

  2. got saved, I started listening to. I'd

  3. of concerts. And then when I got saved,

  4. I started listening to. I was introduced

  5. to the cathedral quartet. Hot dog boy,

  6. up before I jump to the next section.

  7. And we're going to do something, actually,

  8. on the back counter by the bookstore

  9. if you want to grab one. We're going to

  10. three. We only have six sections, and it

  11. we'll get finished. We will get finished

  12. with it. And if we get finished sooner,

  13. I'm not going to go over the whole thing.

  14. you shall surely die. And while he did

  15. And the curse set in. But his spirit

  16. died. And that part of man that God used

  17. So man's innate ability to communicate

  18. with God was gone. And because man's spirit

  19. and completely depraved. We talked about.

  20. a vacuum in their heart. And a lot

  21. of times I've heard preachers and people

  22. It's not a God created vacuum. It's a

  23. is more to life than what they are presently

  24. the Bible when it says none. There's

  25. none that seek after God. No, not one.

  26. he drew you to him. And God does use

  27. not by corruptible seed. So this is why.

  28. That's why we knock doors. That's why we

  29. for I am not ashamed of the gospel of

  30. To the jew first, and also to the greek,

  31. the father which hath sent me. Draw him.

  32. through other people, and through the word

  33. it is hid to them that are lost in whom

  34. the minds of them which believe not.

  35. And then secondly, he works so hard at

  36. We don't care about those that are lost.

  37. us to stay that way. I've often said

  38. truth. We don't like the hard truths, but that's

  39. to what the Bible says. There's none

  40. is no fear of God before their eyes?

  41. with me. But how to perform that which

  42. is good? I find not every time I want

  43. of it all the time. Always we try to

  44. And so we have to make that decision.

  45. Can you believe that? I mean, I do believe

  46. it because I'm reading it and it's in

  47. The Lord doesn't just put words in the

  48. to be a spot that needs a word. Right.

  49. Every imagination of the thoughts of his

  50. There's some serious emphasis going on here.

  51. 512, wherefore, as by one man, sin entered

  52. next door. Hard to believe, but it's absolutely

  53. in the ways that it did in the days

  54. of lot or in the days of Noah. I'm sure

  55. not on your street, but it does. It manifests

  56. as by one man. I just read that, but

  57. of people in America are not saved.

  58. They have had the privilege and the benefit

  59. We have that legacy. We may not be christian

  60. so this country is still considered.

  61. You know, if you want to compare it to some

  62. of the uttermost parts of the earth,

  63. so that they do not reflect a nation

  64. with judeo christian foundations. And

  65. it might not take one more generation

  66. for us to find ourselves in the same condition

  67. after them which knew not the Lord, nor

  68. did evil in the sight of the Lord and

  69. Baal and Ashtaroth. And I'm glad that

  70. we do live in the age of grace. I'm

  71. But I'm glad we live in the age of grace.

  72. he must earn his way to heaven and that

  73. is the thought of Mandev. This is the

  74. in America think. Well, surely God's.

  75. go to church. I give to the church.

  76. I give to the Baptist Mission Society or

  77. And so I'm a pretty good. Surely all

  78. of that counts for something. And I'm

  79. That is how the people that we're going

  80. to be speaking to, door to door, going

  81. So God will not count all his efforts

  82. as meaningless. We've got to help them

  83. sin. I'm not talking about original sin

  84. that everyone who is born into this world

  85. heart breaking it can be. We have to get

  86. the way backward equals progress is when

  87. the wrong way, then we have to get them

  88. going to have to turn around and go back

  89. to move forward, you think about it.

  90. do recognize the fact that you made

  91. a mistake, but you just keep moving

  92. I cannot stress this enough because

  93. I think that we have definitely, especially

  94. they first realize they're lost. We have

  95. or getting a, getting a, you know, a

  96. of salvation, it's possible to give

  97. simply because they pray to prayer and they

  98. as wretched. Most people don't see themselves

  99. to people who are worse off than they

  100. an hour in a 60 and everybody else is

  101. a couple of verses real quick before

  102. we move on to our next portion here.

  103. might abound. Now turn with me to chapter

  104. the law was that which is good made death

  105. it might appear sin, working death in

  106. might become exceeding sinful. See, you

  107. It will work in a person what God intended

  108. it to do. The law is our schoolmaster to

  109. why we have it. God didn't give it to

  110. think that it is. Go ahead and look at

  111. is the back of page. This is page 16.

  112. than in hell. Everybody wants to believe

  113. in heaven. No one wants to believe in

  114. just the first couple. Look at all us

  115. has exponentially increased in the last

  116. You know, it has decreased exponentially

  117. in the last three years. Christian influence

  118. in this country. And so the numbers

  119. are probably conservative here. All right,

  120. a little piece of it each week until

  121. we finish it. Now, again, there are

  122. I hope that it's a good refresher for

  123. of if you died to heaven, are you sure you're

  124. who don't. Honestly, I run into atheists

  125. I'm the expert on this, but it's been

  126. used. And the Lord has just blessed it

  127. to Jesus Christ, then keep doing it.

  128. with your family, in a conversation with coworkers,

  129. we're going to use our new move in bags.

  130. have grabbed one. What was I thinking?

  131. I wasn't thinking. That's all right.

  132. We don't need it. So now our new move

  133. who is not familiar with our new move

  134. in bags? You have no idea what I'm talking

  135. do that, you end up with apartment hoppers

  136. So we have put together bags of, and

  137. to their home with a bag and we say,

  138. is a gift from us to you, basically.

  139. That's it, right? It's pretty simple. But

  140. the gospel with our community that we

  141. you have a name and you have a gift.

  142. You have a name and you have a gift.

  143. So it immediately turns into a warm

  144. door. It's a stranger, but you know their

  145. and I'll back it up here in just a second.

  146. know the name of the occupant, you are

  147. me wrong. It's never wrong to do right.

  148. the bag and leaving it at their door

  149. lot better if you can give them the track

  150. I will absolutely sound like a broken

  151. I will sound mechanical each and every

  152. in bag. Now, our new move in bag has

  153. a cup, a nice cup with Heritage Baptist

  154. I gave her the bag. I handed the bag

  155. But I asked her, I said, well, don't

  156. you drink coffee? I got a nice mug in

  157. But I've only one time I've given a.

  158. I don't know how many of these away.

  159. but I'm not sure exactly how to pronounce

  160. of course it says don't ring the doorbell.

  161. I got baby sleeping and they're out

  162. I think sometimes those come standard

  163. with new homes. Now ring the bell first,

  164. you like talking to doorbells. I refuse

  165. to talk to a doorbell. So if it's a

  166. I hate that. I hate it. I won't talk

  167. So listen for the ring. If you don't

  168. my pocket knife out of my pocket before,

  169. do it. I'm telling you. You just want

  170. I'm looking for tice Rippy. Now, tice

  171. is an uncommon name. Is it nothing.

  172. So I don't know if that's a man's name

  173. or a woman's name. So I'm not going

  174. to come up and say, I'm looking for

  175. I don't know if that's a man's name

  176. or that's not a common name, so I'm

  177. I'm not going to say Mister tice Rippie,

  178. or I'm not going to say, hello, tice,

  179. name and you've already strike one? You're

  180. do this. Hi, tice. And I try my best

  181. to shake his hand. Hi, I'm tice. Actually,

  182. I don't shake his hand. I'm holding

  183. a bag and I've got a track in one half.

  184. and a bag and. Hi, Tyce. My name is James

  185. or they'll leave the dog inside and

  186. to fight the dog and use that as an

  187. who come to the door with a phone in

  188. nobody even on the phone. They just, they

  189. or they're going to give you an opportunity

  190. to see whether you're worth their time

  191. I know if they're fighting with the

  192. what I do. I have dogs and they want to

  193. Ippy, when we get, when we get this list

  194. a month or two behind. So you probably already

  195. if we're not behind on our list. All

  196. I just love your home. I love this

  197. and you've imposed anyway. You don't know what

  198. or two. So my next question immediately

  199. is going to be, have you had a chance

  200. to find a church for you and your family

  201. up so they can hear you. We don't go

  202. to talk right now. He said, I don't

  203. have time to talk right now. I'm not even

  204. I don't like to use the term, but it

  205. to somebody who wants to talk to you.

  206. to have some excuse. Oh, I don't have

  207. if he says, we don't, you know, he could

  208. ways. Do you have a church? Did you grow up

  209. We just don't believe. What's my answer?

  210. All of these are great answers. The fact

  211. He tells me that he believes in praying to

  212. for me because I know how to approach this

  213. in here would love to lead someone to

  214. And you're never going to get to do that

  215. and I. So let me extend an open invitation

  216. to you. Our number is in the bag, and

  217. the door. You took my bag. I want to

  218. I would say, man, that's great. I hope

  219. A brief summary of the church. Well,

  220. coming to HBC. Just visiting with us. We've

  221. 24 years and we've got something for

  222. or do you have anything for middle aged?

  223. But you've just given them something,

  224. you've just thrown something out there.

  225. And if they start asking questions, that's

  226. of the parks. Fact is, that's a non denominational

  227. this is what I've experienced. Non denominational

  228. I know what they believe. I know what

  229. I can back it up. That circle is pretty

  230. the fellowship of the parks. Where do

  231. Man, that's great. Mister Rippie, I'm

  232. You know what that tells me? That tells

  233. is to win them to Jesus Christ. Mister

  234. it is. I guess it is. I'm not going

  235. to lie. It is a little. It is for a

  236. the means. All right, so listen to what

  237. on what church we went to. I know what

  238. I've never had anybody say, yes, he will.

  239. I say. Okay, so let me back up, I'll

  240. how many people don't. Don't even believe

  241. on what church we went to, right? Yeah.

  242. to you? If you died today, are you 100%

  243. I'm not exaggerating that you're going

  244. to pass out. You're going to go out

  245. is a Shaleen Steiger out there, right?

  246. I thought I was going to get to. I

  247. Was that helpful? Okay. I still believe,

  248. I really, truly believe that the new

  249. tool we have because you have a name and

  250. to this home, and it's a warm call.

  251. And whether they're home or not, if they're

  252. to a cold call. How do I do that? Because

  253. like, well, they don't look like Jehovah's

  254. I guess I'll go ahead and I'll open

  255. your curiosity is up because how does

  256. he know my name? He knows my name. So

  257. to let him go to the next step. But

  258. a bag and you knock on the door and

  259. can I help you? They already know they're

  260. No, thanks. Not interested. Or if they

  261. And so anyway, I hope that's helpful.

  262. We're going to go over a little bit of

  263. no way to anticipate every direction

  264. that that's going to go. You just, you

  265. By the way, this is my final, by the

  266. an extra person. If you're coming by

  267. Let us know ahead of time that you want

  268. be willing to say, hey, I'm available.

  269. I'll take somebody with me, man, that

  270. get to go with Brother Frius. We've been

  271. All right, I'm done. 759. All right,

  272. let's stand together. We will not have

  273. an invitation tonight. I hope that that

  274. to be instructional. This is a taste of

  275. have opportunities to ask questions not

  276. Hell. He's saying now he gets to pray to.

  277. us in prayer. Once again, I hope that

  278. Let us pray. Dear gracious heavenly Father, we thank you for

  279. And dear heavenly Father, whether you're

  280. a new approach, a new angle, a new

  281. one of us will apply it to our daily

  282. in gas station conversations, in any

  283. I just pray that you would burden our

  284. are suffering. Pray that for our missionaries.

  285. We always lift them up. And, Lord, we

  286. Amen.
