Unpacking Daniel's Dream of Beasts

Amen.

He was broken and spilled out for us.

Amen.

What a great song.

If you would, in your Bibles, turn to the book of Daniel.

We'll be in Daniel, chapter seven, Daniel, chapter seven.

We have again come to a division in the book.

The first six chapters are mainly historical with minimum of

prophecies.

And we know that there is some prophecy in the first six books because

chapter two we have the statue, but mainly it's historical

in nature.

It's the friends of Daniel and what Daniel went through.

And then chapter 7 through 12 are mainly prophetical and with a

minimum amount of history.

So this is kind of the division.

And one of the reasons why we point that out is because chapter

seven chronologically would go between chapter four and five.

So I've had the question, you know, why then did they put it in

this order?

Well, they put it in that order to make it again two divisions.

The historical section, if you would, and then the prophetical section.

In fact, there's a pretty good gap.

So between chapter four and five is where this would take place.

And really it's 15 years or 16 years before chapter five.

And also it's believed that when Nebuchadnezzar died that Daniel

kind of went into a retirement.

You don't hear from it.

It's called Daniel's silent years, 23 years.

No one hears from Daniel, or at least it's not recorded.

But in that time we know he had some of these dreams and visions.

And I could just see Daniel taking the time of 23 years and doing

a lot of Bible study.

Well, chapter nine speaks about the books he was reading.

It speaks of him studying.

And as he pondered these things, God was speaking to him and

giving him visions, prophetical visions of what's going

to happen.

Again, Daniel speaking about his friends in those first six chapters,

in chapters seven through 12, speaking about the future of the

Jewish nation.

So let's look at Daniel 7:1.

Daniel 7:1

In the first year of Belshazzar, king of Babylon, Daniel

had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed.

And then he wrote the dream and told the sum of the matters.

And Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and behold,

the four winds of the heavens strove upon the great sea.

And four great beasts came up out from the sea, diverse one from

another.

The first was like a lion and had eagle's wings.

And I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was

lifted up from the earth and made stand upon the feet as a man,

and a man's heart was given to it.

Verse 5.

And behold another beast, a second like to a bear, and it raised

up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it,

between the teeth of it.

And they said thus unto it, arise, devour much flesh.

And after this I beheld.

And lo, another, like a leopard, which had upon the back

of it four wings of a fowl.

The beast had also four heads, and dominion was given to it.

And after this I saw in the night visions.

And behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible and strong

exceedingly.

And it had great iron teeth it devoured and break in pieces, and

stamped the residue with the feet of it.

And it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it.

And it had 10 horns.

Verse 8.

Daniel says, I considered the horns, and behold there came up from

among them another little horn, before whom there were three

of the first horns plucked up by the roots.

And behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and

a mouth speaking great things.

And I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the ancient of

days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of

his head like the pure wool.

His throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning

fire.

A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him, and thousand

thousands ministered unto him, and 10,000 times 10,000 stood before

him.

The judgment was set, and the books were opened.

I beheld then, because of the voice of the great words which the

horn spake, I beheld even till the beast was slain and his body

destroyed and given to the burning flame.

And as concerning the rest of the beast, they had their dominion

taken away.

Yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

And I saw in the night visions.

And behold, one like the Son of Man came with the clouds of heaven

and came to to the ancient of days.

And they brought him near before him.

And there was given him dominion and glory, and a kingdom

that all people, nations and languages should serve him.

His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away,

and his kingdom, that which shall not be destroyed.

Let's pray.

Heavenly Father, again we pray that you would be with us tonight.

And as we look upon your word, may you give us wisdom.

We thank you in Jesus name.

Amen.

The theme of the book of Daniel is God rules in the affairs

of men.

As we think about prophecy, I want to remind you tonight that the

prophets of the Old Testament, as they looked forward and prophesied

concerning future events, they did not see the church age so if

you could think about two hills, you think about the first

hill being the cross of Calvary and then a valley, and then

think about a second hill and you see the second coming of Christ

at the Battle of Armageddon.

That's what the prophet saw.

And the valley is the church age or the age of grace or the fullness

of the times of the Gentiles.

So remember again, as the prophet is looking down through time,

he's seeing both mountaintops, but he doesn't see the valley.

He doesn't see Heritage Baptist Church.

None of these prophecies are directly connected or directly talk

about the church, though we may use some analogies or some metaphors

and connect some of it, but they're not directly connected.

God through his prophets is speaking to the nation of Israel

and telling them of future events, of the Messiah who would

come.

He would come the first time.

We call it the first advent.

He came the first time and was born and was and lived a sinless

life, a perfect life, and yet again went to the cross and died

and was buried and rose again from the dead.

And we see the cross and then he's coming again.

He's coming again.

And he's going to come in victory.

He's going to come.

He's not coming as a lamb for the slaughter next time.

The next time he comes, he's coming as King of kings and Lord

of Lords.

And he'll come and he'll defeat the enemies there.

At the Battle of Armageddon, he'll land on the Mount of Olives.

He'll split it in two and with his mouth everybody dies.

The valley of Megiddo is full of blood.

Millions upon millions upon millions of soldiers will be dead.

Won't even be a real battle.

God will set up the kingdom.

Jesus Christ will rule and reign on the throne David.

And that reign will be forever and ever and ever.

Woo hoo.

Amen.

If we look at the prophetical calendar as it pertains to the church

and the Jew, we're reminded that the next event to take place

for the church is all the saved being raptured out first.

Thessalonians, chapter four.

And we know that one day Paul says, don't be ignorant of these

things, for one day the dead in Christ shall rise.

We which are alive and remain will be caught up to be with him

in the air.

And so shall we ever be with the Lord.

And that word caught up is where we get the word rapture.

The phrase caught up rapture is not found in the Bible.

The Word.

But of course, rapture is in the Bible and Jesus will be coming

back for his saints.

And as I said this morning, he'll say, come up hither.

It'll be sounded as a trumpet.

The trumpet will sound and we will be resurrected.

All the saved will be resurrected.

And I'm emphasizing that for many reasons, we are not Baptist

brighters.

If you want to go look that up, go look it up.

All the saved will be resurrected.

Old New Testament, Old Testament saints, everybody resurrected.

What a day that'll be.

Amen.

When Jesus I shall see, I'll look upon his face, the one who saved

me by his grace.

It's going to be a great day.

I had the question just here recently.

What do you think again about the marriage supper of the Lamb?

When's the marriage supper of the lamb going to take place?

Well, it's going to take place, I believe, immediately after

the judgment seat of Christ.

The Bible says that we are raptured out of here, that there

is going to be a judgment that takes place.

This is not the great white throne judgment that will take place

after the millennial kingdom in which those who have not accepted

Christ will be thrown into hell, but this will take place.

This is a judgment of Christians called the Bema seat Judgment

in which we will be judged according to our works, whether they

be good or bad.

And then the married supper of the lamb.

Whoo hoo.

Roast and taters and carrots.

Yeah.

Some biscuits.

I don't know what it's going to be.

It's probably going to be fruits and vegetables.

Come on, man.

I don't know.

I don't think so.

Some chocolate pie.

I don't know what it'll be, but I know whatever it will be, we're

going to love it.

Going to be with the Lord and with our friends and loved ones.

Spend seven years together and then the second advent happens in

which Christ will return with his saints.

The first time he comes, he comes for us.

The next time he comes with us and we return with him and he again

defeats the enemy, he defeats the Antichrist, Satan is thrown into

hell, and you have the thousand year millennial reign.

And there's a lot more to it than that, but that's a really brief

summary and we're looking forward to that day.

As far as Daniel's prophecy, these last seven chapters or last

six chapters, it is Daniel who gives us the first really good overview

of, of this prophetical calendar I just gave you.

In fact, in this chapter, he almost gives you all of it.

It's amazing in this one chapter.

And Daniel's prophecy encourages God's people.

Remember now, God's people, the Jews, are in bondage.

They're in captivity in Babylon.

And so these prophecies, these prophecies of what God is going to

do and how God is going to use and that God is not through with

the Jewish people is an encouragement to those who are in

captivity.

He reminds them again that the Messiah will come.

The Messiah will come.

He reminds them it's an encouragement to them that the Messiah

will come to deliver them from spiritual bondage.

We know this from Isaiah 53 and Psalm chapter 22 and many other

Psalms 22 · chapter mention

Old Testament prophecies of Messianic prophecies concerning the

Lord's death, burial and resurrection.

This is one of the things the Jews missed in Christ's day.

They wanted the Messiah who was going to deliver them from Roman

bondage and Roman oppression.

They wanted a deliverer, a physical deliverer.

But that's not what the prophets described.

The first time he was to come, the first time he was to come, he

was described as a lowly servant, one who would die and be

buried and rise again from the dead, take on the iniquities of mankind.

But the second time, not only was the Messiah to come and again

redeem us or bring us back, deliver us from spiritual bondage,

but then secondly, he describes for the Jew the physical

redemption, the Jewish nation, in other words, the release or the

deliverance from physical bondage.

And that will happen one day.

Sure, the Jews have been set aside for a time.

But again, as I said this morning, I don't care what TikTok

says or some Preacher on your YouTube or your Facebook page or

whoever you're listening to.

Replacement theology is heresy.

The Jews have not been replaced.

They've simply been put off track for one day.

They will be put back on track.

The Jews are still God's chosen people.

And before the last 30 or 40 years, that was never a question

in the modern church, churches, it wasn't even a question.

It's only been in the last 30, 40 years.

It began to be questioned.

I believe it's anti Semitic.

I believe it's just a sign of the times.

The church is who believe that can be antisemitic.

Just want to publicly say that tonight.

God's chosen people, God's prophesying to them.

God's giving them hope for the future.

God warns them of their sin and the destruction and just the

utter destruction that it causes.

But he also gives them hope of the future, a hope of being free

from spiritual bondage and a hope of being free from physical

bondage.

In this chapter, in verse one, we see that Belshazzar is on the

throne.

He is co regent.

Now remember that he is co regent with his dad and his dad,

as I read about his dad and however you want to say his name,

Nebidus.

Nebidus.

He really didn't even want to be king.

And so he kind of just hung out.

And when his son got to the age, his son became king and anyway,

and the kingdom began to get weaker.

But so Belshazzar's on the throne.

Daniel's 67 years old.

Nebuchadnezzar had been gone for nine years.

And now we're back to the last years of Babylon.

Babylon's about to fall.

I want to remind you that Daniel's prophesying during these

times of the Babylonian, not the second century.

He's prophesying in the sixth century.

Again, liberals, liberals say, well, there's, you know, Daniel's

prophecies are too particular, especially when it comes to Antiochus,

Paniphanes, anyway, whatever his name is, too particular.

Anti.

Somebody help me with that one.

Yeah, say it again.

That's close.

Now I've said it wrong and now everybody else saying it wrong.

Right.

And anyway, it was in the like the hundred and, you know, 60s B.C.

and anyway, anyway, that's crazy.

Should have wrote it down.

So anyway, be careful where you put the writing of Daniel.

I'm going to move on from some of this.

My head is swimming.

There's so much information about this particular chapter.

So Daniel again is prophesying during the days of Belshazzar, during

the days of Darius.

And Daniel, the Bible says here, is grieved, he's troubled,

he's physically shaken.

The intensity of the vision has caused his physical condition,

the political changes that are about to take place, the human suffering

because of sin.

And it grieves Daniel's heart.

Again, the times of the Gentiles, from the time the Babylonians

destroyed Jerusalem, we have the times of the Gentiles put in

place.

In other words, God is now using and speaking and the Gentiles

and will so be until the battle of Armageddon.

And then he speaks about the rulers of these nations of being

beastly, beastly.

The dream of Nebuchadnezzar in chapter two of Daniel, of the statue

representing the four major world powers, that of Babylon, Medo,

Persian and Greece.

And then Rome is here repeated in a different analogy or a different

metaphor.

The ten toes, even representing the revived Roman Empire.

And we see this.

I think it's amazing as I read through this, that when you think

of Nebuchadnezzar having the dream concerning the statue in chapter

two, you have to go back and read that.

Now, when you have that dream there described, Nebuchadnezzar sees

this huge statue of gold and brass and iron and silver.

But here verses what God sees, God sees these nations.

He sees beasts.

From God's perspective, it is their true inward characteristics.

It's showing the true inward characteristics of their leaders,

their beasts.

Whether it's Nebuchadnezzar or Alexander the Great describes for

us how God feels about them.

Again, the 70 years of captivity are approximately 10 years

away from being to coming to an end.

So again, children of Israel carried into captivity.

And now we're about 10 years away from it coming to an end.

So let's get into it this morning, this evening, verses one

through seven or one through eight is the raising, the rising

of the four beasts.

It speaks here in verse two of the four winds.

We covered verse one by describing of Babylon and Belshazzar

and the times in which this is being spoken.

In verse two he speaks about the vision.

And the four winds of heaven strove upon the great sea.

The great sea there speaks of the Mediterranean Sea.

These four winds speak of the turmoil of the nations of the earth

divinely allowed or even divinely initiated.

As we think about all the nations being in turmoil from all

four corners of the earth with north, south, east and west.

Again, these beasts, verse three, rising out of the Mediterranean,

diverse, it says, that means separating powers.

These are separate kingdoms, these are separate ruling powers.

Then verses four through six, we have the first of the three beasts.

The first beast is a winged lion.

This speaks again of Babylon as the head of gold in chapter two

in Nebuchadnezzar's dream spoke of Babylon as well.

So what are the.

What are the powers that are going to rule?

So the first great power is Babylon.

And very evident by the way in Babylon, the pictures, the imprints

on the palace gates were pictures of a lion with wings.

Just as a side note, it's amazing.

This winged lion speaks not only of the strength of which the

Babylonian kingdom would defeat its enemies, but also the

swiftness in which they would be done.

And again, Babylon defeated the then known world at the time.

The second one speaks of a bear.

And this is speaking of the Medo Persian empire.

And this of course, the statue in chapter two speaking of the arms

of silver, the three ribs probably Speaking what happened was

when as Babylon became weak, some of the nations that were defeated

by Babylon under the domain of Babylon, you know, had usurped and

had, you know, gone away from Babylon.

And so when Medo Persian empire came along, they had to come

on.

And one of those nations was Egypt.

And there were three major powers that Medo Persian had to defeat

in order to become the great nation of the Medo Persian empire.

And that was Babylon number one, but also Egypt and then another

nation called Lydia.

And so the bear speaks of overwhelming strength.

Again they used their armies.

Whereas the Babylonians had skill and swiftness.

The way the Medo Persian empire defeated enemies was just

sheer numbers.

We're just going to bring as many soldiers.

We're going to outnumber you by thousands upon thousands.

And they just used brute force to steamroll everybody.

That's how they defeated him.

Again, brute force.

Think of a bear.

Then the third creature, the third beast was a leper, a leopard.

And again this leopard had wings and also had the four heads.

This speaks again of speed.

Think about Alexander the Great.

With just a matter of few years, he defeated the then known

world in his 30s, his 20s and 30s.

He died while he was in his 30s.

Most of you have learned it from history.

It's an amazing, amazing feat what he did with speed and agility

and skill.

Not like the middle Persian empire that just kind of rolled over

everybody, but a lot of tactics, a lot of other things.

Alexander the Great was a great military mind.

So you had the nation of Greece, the belly and thighs of brass

that are found in chapter two.

The last one, the fourth beast it describes as one that is indescribable.

This beast is so heinous and terrible that he just, he has a hard

time describing it.

He begins to give some characteristics of the beast that

again had great iron teeth and think about devouring this opposition,

ground them into powder.

Think about Rome.

Again, great military might, very, very skilled.

Their equipment was superior.

Their equipment was superior.

They man just an amazing thing.

As the Roman Empire defeated ground in the powder their enemies,

no one could stand against them.

They devoured their opposition.

Then it goes on to say there was nothing like the Roman Empire.

They were diverse and again they were separate, politically separate.

All these things that comes with the Roman Empire.

What a nation.

Then it begins to describe a nation to come.

And this is where your interest will hopefully pick up.

Describes the 10, the 10 kings, the 10 horns.

All right, so this creature, 10 horns and representing 10 kings.

This is the same as we think about the statue had 10 toes.

This is speaking of the revived Roman Empire.

The revived Roman Empire.

As I read and was studying this, I again thought about, well,

Jesus Christ came, was born, was buried and died and rose again

during the time of the first Roman Empire.

He came during the first Roman Empire, and he's coming back during

the time of the Second Roman Empire.

Except second time, he's not going to be put on no cross.

He's the one who will be devouring, defeating the revived

Roman Empire.

This revived Roman Empire.

Out of those 10 kings, a little horn.

Out of those 10 horns, a little horn arises.

This little horn is speaking of the Antichrist.

Speaks of him rising from a lower estate to a higher estate.

Again, remember where this is happening.

This is happening around the Mediterranean Sea, around that area.

The revived Roman Empire will take place.

Now, whether or not that takes in nations that are elsewhere but

connected, whether it's confederacies, whether it's, you

know, treaties or whatever it may be, as we think about 10 nations.

But among these 10 nations, these 10 kingdoms, these 10 kings,

these 10 leaders will come a leader who at first will be small,

but then will grow.

And he will, the Bible says, pluck out three kings.

So either defeats those three or some other things take place.

Either way, he plucks them out.

He becomes the biggest, if you would, the most powerful of the leaders

and kings.

Again, this is speaking of the Antichrist speaks about him having

eyes and a mouth and is definitely speaking of a man.

Because sometimes when we read the Book of Revelation, remind you

when plain sense makes common sense, seek no other sense.

So don't read the Book of Revelation and spiritualize all of

it only when it's necessary.

Only way you would do that is if the way in which it makes sense

can only be done by spiritualizing it.

Does that make sense?

For instance, the Bible says we're coming back on white horses.

Do you spiritualize that?

No, we're coming back on white horses.

The beasts.

Later on it talks about these beasts coming out of the Mediterranean

Sea.

Do we spiritualize those, or are those real beasts?

No, those are real.

The one that stings you hurts for six months.

Those are real.

Y' all ever watch the old Sinbad the Sailor movies?

Way, way, way, way back.

The special effects on those were amazing.

And those creatures that would come out, that's kind of what I think

of.

I don't know why when I think about those creatures coming out

the Bible describes.

But those creatures are real.

You don't have to spiritualize that stuff.

Don't do it.

But here we have again the Antichrist, who again has the eyes

of a man and with a mouth.

He speaks great things.

The Bible says we know that through his speech blasphemies take

place.

And we know that because now you can turn to Revelation 13.

Let's do that.

Revelation 13.

We're going to wrap it up.

So Daniel introduces to us a lot of things that Revelation covers.

That's why it is so good for you to know the book of Revelation.

Know the book of Daniel if you want to understand the Book of Revelation.

Now notice as I read this, I'm going to read all 13 verses, or all

10 verses actually, and notice some of the same wording that we

have read just a moment ago.

Look at Revelation 13, verse 1.

Revelation 13:1

And I stood upon the sand of the sea and saw a beast rise up out

of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns

ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

I believe this is the same creature.

Now it's describing it even in a greater way, giving us more information

about this creature.

And the beast which I saw was like unto a leper.

And his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth

of a lion.

And the dragon gave him his power and his seat and great authority.

So here we have the Antichrist described who has given con been

given control over the previous three great empires and

assumes their characteristics, right?

The leper and those things.

And I saw one of the heads of his heads as it were wounded to death

and his deadly wound was healed and all the world wondered

after the beast.

This is where we get the ideal that the Antichrist apparently, either

he's going to die or he's going to have something happen to

him.

That the only way that he could possibly live is through a

miracle.

And the miracle does take place, by the way, Satan has power

too.

And they worshiped the dragon which gave power unto the beast.

And they worshiped the beast saying, who is like unto the beast?

Who is able to make war with him?

Verse 5.

And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies.

And power was given unto him to continue 40 and two months, three

and a half years.

We didn't read that verse, but Daniel chapter seven gives you the

same three and a half years.

And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God to blaspheme

his name and his tabernacle and them that dwell in heaven.

And it was given unto him to make War with the saints.

We didn't read that verse either, but it's over there in chapter

seven.

And power was given to him over all kindreds and tongues and

nations.

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him whose names

are not written in the book of life.

For the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

If any man and have an ear, let him hear.

He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity.

And he that killeth with sword must be killed with the sword.

He is the patience.

Here is the patience and faith of the saints.

Again you hear some of the same wording, the thousands upon

thousands.

Actually, that wording I'll give you in a moment.

So as you read about that, you say, well, that's the Antichrist.

No doubt Daniel is giving us information about the Antichrist.

And then Revelation gives us further information about the antichrist.

Daniel, chapter 7 again, verses 9 through 14.

Daniel 7 · chapter mention

We see the Ancient of days.

And we see Jesus Christ, God's son.

Look at verse nine.

And to beheld till the thrones were cast down and the Ancient of

days did seat the sit whose garments were white as snow.

And it goes on to describe God.

And then in verse 13, we see the Son of Man speaking of Jesus

Christ.

So the Ancient of days speaking of God's eternal judgment,

speaking of again God the Father from Revelation, chapter four.

You can go read that.

His garments are white, speaking of purity.

His white hair speaks of antiquity and wisdom and eternality.

The fire speaks of his power and judgment.

Verse 11 and 12.

We see that the Antichrist is destroyed.

The others who reign with him, apparently the Bible says they're

allowed to live for a season.

Then verses 13 and 14.

It speaks of the Son of God.

The Son of God.

I do want to read one more.

Turn to Revelation, chapter five.

I said we were about done.

And then.

And you'll see some of the same wording.

In other words, this will sound familiar.

Now again, as you think about verses 13 and 14.

He said, I saw the night vision.

And behold, one like the Son of Man came with the clouds of heaven

and came to the Ancient of days.

And they brought him near before him.

So here's Jesus Christ approaching the throne of God.

And there was given him dominion and glory and kingdom and.

And all people, nations and language should serve him.

His dominion is foreverlasting dominion which shall not pass away,

and his kingdom, that which shall not be destroyed.

Now look at chapter five, Revelation.

I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written

within on the backside sealed with seven seals.

And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, who

is worthy to open the book and to loose the seals thereof?

And no man in heaven, nor in earth, nor under the earth, was able

to open the book, neither to look thereon.

And I wept much because no man was found worthy to open and to read

the book, neither looked thereon.

And one of the elders saith unto me, weep not.

Behold, the lion of the tribe of Judah.

The root of David hath prevailed to open the book and to

loose the seven seals thereof.

And I beheld.

And lo, in the midst of the throne, Notice the approach here.

And of the beasts, and in the midst of the elders stood a lamb,

as it were, as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven

eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent forth to all

the earth.

And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that

sat on the throne, upon the throne, the ancient of days.

And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and the four

and 20 elders fell down.

And before the Lamb, having every one of them harps and golden

veils and vials, and full of odors, which are the prayers of the

saints.

And they sang a new song, saying, thou art worthy to take the

book and to open the seals thereof, for thou was slain and hast

redeemed us to God by the blood out of every kindred and tongue.

And people and nations had made us unto our God, kings and priests,

and we shall reign on the earth.

And behold, I heard a voice of many angels round about the throne,

and the beasts and the elders, and the numbers of was 10,000 times

10,000 and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice,

worthy is the Lamb that was slain.

Received power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and

glory and blessings.

And every creature was in heaven, which is in heaven and on

the earth and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all

that are in them heard I saying, blessings and honor and glory

and power be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto

the Lamb forever and ever.

And the four beasts said, Amen.

And the four and 20 elders fell down and worshiped him that

liveth forever and ever.

Be interesting.

Take Revelation 13, Revelation 4.

Read Daniel chapter 7 and see the similarities in those chapters.

It's amazing.

They definitely, definitely, definitely fit together.

One of the last great powers is to come.

three and a half years revelation just told us that too

and a half years he will be defeated he will be slain he will

be deaded he'll no longer reign Christ will reign in his stead

and Christ's throne will be eternal May we as Christians live

in light of eternity we're close you know the Bible well you

say well you know Peter even says it well you know you talk about

his coming y' all have talked about his coming forever and I can

remember as a kid saying I hope Lord just wait a little bit

I want to get married someday you know Lord man but now Lord come

quickly even so come Lord Jesus no there's so many more people

to reach so many more people to reach let's live in a lie of eternity
