  17. well, I take I always say this, act like

  19. really it ain't. It's the first day of

  20. the week. And Young and Y Liberty to go.

  21. They done going, so Amen. They don't

  29. morning. So, thank you for being here. I

  30. mean that. I really do appreciate it and

  31. I love each and every one of you. Thank

  32. you for being in the house of God this

  33. morning. John's Gospel chapter 12.

  34. John's Gospel chapter number 12. And

  35. I've been praying about these services

  36. today. And I want to say this to you.

  37. You know, you never know who you're

  38. influencing

  39. >> in this life. You never know what your

  40. life has an impact uh on others. You

  41. never know who's being impacted by your

  42. life. And I was yesterday I was in a

  43. meeting. I was in a meeting Friday and

  44. Saturday, men's meeting down in South

  45. Carolina and uh there was some young men

  46. there. It was it was a men's conference.

  47. What it was, there was over a thousand

  48. men there, I guess, as far as I could

  49. tell. It was a it was a big meeting and

  50. we was there. just went to sit in on the

  51. meeting and uh they it was a it's called

  52. the pastors and his men of might

  53. conference and uh we was there and some

  54. friends of mine were there. They're

  55. church folk. I just I just wrote down um

  56. just due to everything been going on at

  57. the church. I didn't promote it or push

  58. it or anything like that. And so we I

  59. just wrote down uh for the meeting and

  60. they had a they had a time of prayer

  61. after one of the sermons. Heard six

  62. messages. They preached four preachers

  63. on Saturday morning and every one of

  64. them preached over 3540 minutes and it

  65. was good man. I'm telling you I could

  66. have stood to heard two more yesterday.

  67. Amen. But it was good. And uh yesterday

  68. they had a time of prayer um for the

  69. pastors and the men of men that come

  70. with them u would pray with their pastor

  71. and I was there about on the on the

  72. front row and there's three young boys

  73. three preachers boys that I love dearly

  74. and they wasn't able to get to the altar

  75. with their their dads all their dad's

  76. pastors and uh they come up there and

  77. those three pre those three preachers

  78. boys got around me and prayed with me. I

  79. didn't know who was there. And uh I I

  80. stood up. When I was finished praying, I

  81. looked around. There was all three

  82. around me praying for me. And they don't

  83. go to my church. They just But I I was

  84. just thinking about that. And I was on

  85. the ride home with that preacher

  86. yesterday. And and I told him, I said,

  87. "Thank you for trusting me with your

  88. children."

  89. >> Amen.

  90. >> And uh man, I'm telling you, you don't

  91. know who's watching your life.

  92. >> Amen.

  93. >> You don't know who's impacted by what

  94. you're doing. And let me say, don't

  95. quit.

  96. >> Amen.

  97. >> Don't quit on God. Don't quit on church.

  98. And uh I don't care how messed up your

  99. life's been up to this point. You can be

  100. an example from this day forward. Amen.

  101. And don't give up on God. I'm telling

  102. you, he's got a plan for your life. And

  103. I do appreciate you being here. You find

  104. your place. John chapter number 12. If

  105. you would stand with us in honor

  106. reverence to the reading of God's word,

  107. John chapter number 12. And I hope

  108. you've been praying for the service

  109. today. Praying God would help us. And I

  110. need his touch. You pray for me. The

  111. Lord will give us uh uncction this

  112. morning as we preach. John 12 verse

  113. number verse number 20. John chapter

  114. number 12 verse number 20. The Bible

  115. says, "And there were certain Greeks

  116. among them uh that came up to worship at

  117. the feast. The same came therefore to

  118. Philillip which was of Bethayed of

  119. Galilee and desired him saying, "Sir, we

  120. would see Jesus. Philip cometh and

  121. tellth Andrew." And again Andrew and

  122. Philip tell Jesus. And Jesus answered

  123. them, saying, the hour is come that the

  124. Son of man should be glorified. Verily,

  125. verily, I say unto you, except a corn of

  126. wheat fall into the ground and die, it

  127. abideth alone. But if it die, it

  128. bringeth forth much fruit. He that

  129. loveth his life shall lose it, and he

  130. that hateth his life in this world shall

  131. keep it unto life eternal. Notice verse

  132. number 26. It'll be our key text for the

  133. message this morning. The Bible says

  134. Jesus speaking, "If any man serve me,

  135. let him follow me.

  136. >> And where I am, there shall also my

  137. servant be. If any man serve me, him

  138. will my father honor." Verse 27, he

  139. says, "Now is my soul troubled, and what

  140. shall I say? Father, save me from this

  141. hour. But for this cause came I unto

  142. this hour. And he says in verse 28,

  143. Father, glorify thy name. Then came

  144. there a voice from heaven saying, I have

  145. both glorified it and we'll glorify it

  146. again. I want to preach this morning for

  147. the help of the Lord out of verse number

  148. 26. Notice in that phrase in the first

  149. part of the verse where he says, "If any

  150. man serve me, let him follow me." And I

  151. want to preach on this thought for just

  152. a little while. this morning, the

  153. servants creed. The servants creed. Now,

  154. I was reading this text and before

  155. you're seated, I want to say this to

  156. every one of us this morning. If you've

  157. been saved by the grace of God,

  158. salvation in your life is a call and it

  159. is a command to service. Amen. When you

  160. got saved, God didn't save you to see

  161. it.

  162. >> He didn't save you to see it so sour, as

  163. one preacher said. Amen. He saved you to

  164. serve. And I want to preach on that

  165. thought today with the help of the Lord.

  166. Let's pray if we could please. Father,

  167. thank you so much for allowing us to be

  168. in the house of God today. And Lord, it

  169. is my privilege to be here. Thank you

  170. for the opportunity to share the word of

  171. God. Know it's been different today, but

  172. God, I'm thankful that you're the same

  173. and your spirit's the same. Your word's

  174. the same. And God, you're never going to

  175. change. And I can say thank you to for

  176. that fact today. Lord, though it seems

  177. as many things are changing around us.

  178. God, I'm thankful that you're always

  179. consistent and consecutive in our life,

  180. you're always faithful, and I bless your

  181. name for that. God, I thank you for

  182. these people, Lord, that's come out to

  183. be a part of this service. I pray you'd

  184. add a blessing to them today. God, I

  185. thank you for them. I pray if there's

  186. one here lost today that they would be

  187. saved before this service is over. God,

  188. I pray if there's somebody out of the

  189. will of God, not right with you, I pray

  190. they'd get right with you today. And

  191. Lord, I ask you, God, as a result of

  192. this service, Lord, may every soul leave

  193. closer to you than we were when we came

  194. in. And I pray more than anything that

  195. you would get glory this morning out of

  196. the preaching of thy word. Save the

  197. sinner, God, that's nearest hell. Exalt

  198. your son. We pray. Help our church in

  199. these days. We pray for these many

  200. needs, God. You know, every situation,

  201. every heart in life, every burden that's

  202. on the heart of your children this

  203. morning, God. I pray you give them

  204. strength, Lord, for the days to come.

  205. and we'll be sure to thank you for what

  206. you do because we ask it in Jesus' name.

  207. And all God's children said, thank you

  208. for standing. You can be seated this

  209. morning and I appreciate it very, very

  210. much. This morning we come to John's

  211. Gospel, chapter number 12. We're coming

  212. up on this year already. Hard to believe

  213. Easter is less than three weeks away.

  214. That's crazy, ain't it? And it's going

  215. to be here on top of us before we know

  216. it. But I was thinking about this text,

  217. of course, this text, John 12. If you

  218. know anything about your Bible, this

  219. begins, this marks the beginning of our

  220. Lord's passion week. You notice chapter

  221. 12 and verse number one. The Bible says,

  222. "Then Jesus, six days before the

  223. Passover, came to Bethany." So Bethany

  224. in your Bible is that town where Jesus'

  225. friends Mary, Martha, and Lazarus lived.

  226. And he's coming there to have fellowship

  227. with them. And I preached a message some

  228. time ago here at the church. And we

  229. talked about that time of fellowship and

  230. those people that were sitting around

  231. the table there with the Lord. And as he

  232. comes there, he comes to their home. And

  233. then he heads from there into Jerusalem.

  234. Where is the triumphal entry? That what

  235. we recognize on Palm Sunday. The Bible

  236. says in verse number 13 that they took

  237. branches of palm trees and went forth to

  238. meet him and cried, "Hosana, blessed is

  239. the king of Israel that cometh in the

  240. name of the Lord." And so Jesus comes in

  241. there riding on that donkey and all of

  242. the men of Israel. Watch prophecy unfold

  243. before their very eyes. Amen. As Jesus

  244. rode in on that colt, the fo of an ass,

  245. and he presented himself there to the

  246. Jews. But as I said in Sunday school

  247. this morning, one more time they

  248. rejected him. And the sad thing is

  249. that's what men have been doing down

  250. through the ages. Even since he came and

  251. even before that, Jesus would present

  252. himself. Let me say this to you. He's

  253. presenting himself this morning. But the

  254. sad thing is there'll still be somebody

  255. that leaves rejecting him. Though he

  256. reveals himself time and time and time

  257. again, THERE WILL STILL BE THOSE who

  258. refuse to accept his free gift of

  259. salvation. But I'll say this, that

  260. doesn't make him any less king.

  261. >> Amen. He's still God. He's still on the

  262. throne. He's still King of Kings and

  263. Lord of Lords. Amen. And I believe soon

  264. and very soon we'll see him high and

  265. lifted up and exalted. Amen. But I'll

  266. say this for the text this morning. The

  267. Pharisees here in the text, they've

  268. watched Jesus come in here. And the

  269. Bible says that as he's entered into

  270. Jerusalem, there's many people that's

  271. come up to the feast there. You can

  272. study history and you'll find that

  273. people came from all over the world to

  274. be here in Jerusalem during this time of

  275. the year, that Passover week. And the

  276. Bible says there in the verse number 20,

  277. and there were certain Greeks among them

  278. that came up to worship at the feast.

  279. And the Bible tells us, history tells us

  280. as well that there was in that that

  281. court, that tabernacle, there was a

  282. court for the Jews. And then there was a

  283. court for the Gentiles, those that would

  284. come in there and worship that had

  285. really no right to the things of God.

  286. But there was still a place for them to

  287. get in and worship there during that

  288. week. And the Bible says they had came

  289. up, but they had been hearing about

  290. Jesus. And they'd been hearing about how

  291. Lazarus had been raised from the dead.

  292. And they'd been hearing about all the

  293. miracles that Jesus had done. And I said

  294. it in Sunday school this morning. But

  295. the Bible says in verse number 37 that

  296. though Pharisees, the Bible says, though

  297. he had done so many miracles before

  298. them, yet they believed not on him. And

  299. in spite of everything that he did, in

  300. spite of everything that he said, AND IN

  301. SPITE OF EVERYTHING that he was, they

  302. refused to believe. But boy, there was

  303. some people that wanted to see him.

  304. >> Amen.

  305. >> Amen. These Greeks had come up and the

  306. Bible says in verse number 21, they same

  307. came therefore to Philillip which was of

  308. Bethaya of Galilee and desired him

  309. saying sir we would see Jesus. Amen.

  310. They wanted to see him. They wanted to

  311. hear about this miracle working man that

  312. proclaimed himself to be the Messiah.

  313. And they've come to see him. And the

  314. Bible says that his disciples Philip and

  315. Andrew come and tell him. And the Bible

  316. says in verse number 23, Jesus makes

  317. this statement to them. Jesus answered

  318. them saying, "The hour is come."

  319. >> Basically, in essence, what he was

  320. saying, he says, "It's time for me to go

  321. to the cross." And what you're going to

  322. find through this passage is is Jesus is

  323. talking about Calvary. From verse number

  324. 23 all the way to verse number 28, Jesus

  325. is talking about the cross. You see, the

  326. Jews wanted a Messiah to come and rule

  327. over them and deliver them from the

  328. bondage of the government that they were

  329. under. But you see, Jesus didn't want to

  330. deliver them from the bondage of the

  331. government, but he wanted to deliver

  332. them from the bondage of their sin.

  333. Amen. And in order for that to happen,

  334. Jesus before he could ever sit on a

  335. throne, he first had to be hung on a

  336. cross. Amen. And the Bible says in the

  337. text when these Gentiles come to Jesus,

  338. he says to these men, he said, "The hour

  339. has come that the son of man should be

  340. glorified." And you SAY, "PREACHER, WHY

  341. DID Jesus not reveal himself unto them?"

  342. Why did Jesus not present himself as

  343. king unto them so that they could

  344. worship him? You see, Jesus is not so

  345. much concerned with the presentation of

  346. himself to you and I this morning so we

  347. can say something about him. Jesus wants

  348. to help you.

  349. >> Amen. Right?

  350. >> And here's the thing. Jesus could do

  351. nothing for those Gentiles at this point

  352. in time. You say, "Preacher, but he was

  353. Jesus. He could do anything until the

  354. sin debt was taken care of." Until the

  355. cross. You see, Jesus, Matthew chapter

  356. number 10, he told his disciples, he

  357. said, "You go to the lost sheep of the

  358. house of Israel." He presented himself

  359. to those Jews. And because they rejected

  360. him, because blindness happened to them,

  361. they rejected the offer of the

  362. leadership of the Messiah on this earth.

  363. Jesus then turns and realizes, hey, the

  364. cross really is going to happen. And he

  365. knew it was going to happen. It was for

  366. it was for ordained in the mind of God.

  367. Christ was crucified in his mind before

  368. the foundation OF THE WORLD. BUT HE

  369. OFFERED IT TO THE JEWS. They rejected

  370. it. And so because of that, he begins

  371. his journey toward Calvary. The book of

  372. Luke tells us that he set his face as he

  373. would go toward Jerusalem because it was

  374. at Jerusalem WOULD BE WHERE HE WOULD

  375. DIE, where he would present himself and

  376. there he would die for the sins of the

  377. human race. And so he begins telling

  378. them number one about his death. In

  379. verse number 23, his death is realized.

  380. You say, "What do you mean by that?"

  381. Well, he says, "The hour has come that

  382. the son of man should be glorified."

  383. Now, you remember what Jesus told

  384. Nicodemus.

  385. He told Nicodemus in John chapter number

  386. three, he said, "As Moses lifted up the

  387. serpent in the wilderness, what did he

  388. say? Even so must the Son of man be

  389. lifted up." Amen. And when that serpent

  390. was lifted, all the judgment of God was

  391. upon that servant. And when a man looked

  392. to that brazen serpent on the pole, he

  393. could live. Amen. And so Jesus had to be

  394. lifted up on that cross and take ALL THE

  395. JUDGMENT OF GOD. What did he say? And

  396. die if I be lifted up, I'll draw all men

  397. unto myself. Amen. And because he was

  398. lifted up on Calvary, he would DRAW ALL

  399. NATIONS, NOT JUST JEWS, BUT GENTILES AND

  400. ALL people unto himself so that they

  401. could be saved. And Jesus says in the

  402. text, "The hour has come that the son of

  403. man should be glorified." YOU SAY,

  404. "PREACHER, BUT GLORY DOESN'T THAT

  405. DOESN'T TRANS TRANSLATE TO THE CROSS."

  406. YOU UNDERSTAND Jesus was never more

  407. glorified.

  408. >> That's right.

  409. >> Oh, friend.

  410. >> Amen.

  411. >> Than he was on the cross.

  412. God was exalted in the sacrifice of his

  413. son. The time of his glory was there,

  414. hanging between heaven and hell. He

  415. would hang there for the sins of all

  416. mankind and bring deliverance and

  417. salvation. And he tells these boys,

  418. "Hey, it's time, boys. He's ready to go

  419. to the cross." The

  420. death is realized in verse number 23.

  421. But then in verse 24, his death is

  422. revealed.

  423. You see, they don't know that he's

  424. talking about his death. Listen to what

  425. he says. Verily, verily, I say unto you,

  426. except a corn of wheat fall into the

  427. ground and what? Die. So, you see, these

  428. boys didn't know what he meant. And even

  429. after verse 24, they didn't know what he

  430. meant. But you know what he was telling

  431. them? He said, "Look, I'm going to have

  432. to die."

  433. And the thing about it is this morning,

  434. if your salvation did not come across

  435. from a c if it your salvation did not

  436. come into your life from a cross or from

  437. a bloody Calvary for Jesus that was

  438. crucified and then risen again. I tr I

  439. submit to you salvation's invalid.

  440. Somebody say amen. Hey, we we believe in

  441. a bloody cross. Amen. The sacrifice of

  442. Christ was a sacrifice of death for the

  443. without the shedding of blood there is

  444. no remission of sins. Amen. And so his

  445. death was revealed unto them. And he

  446. revealed it by this illustration. What

  447. is this illustration that he gives?

  448. Well, it's the planting of this wheat

  449. seed. Look what he said. Except a corn

  450. of wheat fall under the ground. And then

  451. it's the death, the dying of this seed.

  452. Not only the planting and the dying, but

  453. it is the raising. Look what he says. He

  454. said, "But if it die, it bringeth forth

  455. much fruit. And then there is the

  456. bearing of this seed." This seed was

  457. fruitful. And what do we know about

  458. Jesus? Him and his death. He offered

  459. salvation to everyone that would

  460. believe. And because of his death on

  461. Calvary, he has reached the nation since

  462. then through the preaching of the word

  463. of God. And it was his death that would

  464. bring forth much fruit. You understand

  465. this morning that for a seed when it's

  466. planted in the ground, when that seed is

  467. there by itself, that thing's alive. But

  468. when it goes into the ground, what

  469. happens? That seed has to die. And when

  470. it bursts forth, what happens? The plant

  471. rises up out of that. And then on that

  472. stalk there's many more seeds. Somebody

  473. say amen. And so you know what? He's the

  474. firstborn among many brethren. And when

  475. he was planted, friend, he was planted

  476. not to stay planted, but he was planted

  477. to rise up again. And what was he? The

  478. first begotten from the dead. He's the

  479. first fruits of them that ra would be

  480. raised from the dead. Jesus is the one

  481. that was planted INTO THE GROUND. HE

  482. DIED THERE. BUT THANK GOD, HE GOT UP

  483. AGAIN. AMEN.

  484. >> His death. He revealed his death to him.

  485. I need to move on quickly this morning.

  486. I'd say not only we see his death in the

  487. text, but we see his demand in the text.

  488. Verse 25. He that loveth his life shall

  489. lose it, and he that hateth his life in

  490. this world shall keep it unto life

  491. eternal. Jesus here is revealed to them

  492. his death. These men have come wanting

  493. to see Jesus. And Jesus tells his

  494. disciples here in the text, he says,

  495. "Everybody that's going to come unto

  496. me," he said, "they're going to have to

  497. lose their life." Say, "What does it

  498. have to do with?" Has to do with your

  499. priorities. Notice the text. The Bible

  500. says in verse 25, "He that loveth his

  501. life shall lose it." You see, Christ's

  502. demand is seen in his statement

  503. concerning man in his life. There must

  504. be denial of self. What Jesus say in

  505. Matthew 16:4?

    Matthew 16:4

  506. If any man will come after me, what do

  507. he say? Let him deny himself. Take up

  508. his cross and follow me. You see them

  509. Greeks wanted to see Jesus. But you know

  510. what? They couldn't go where Jesus was

  511. going.

  512. >> You know what? Nobody could go where

  513. Jesus was going.

  514. >> But what was he telling them? He was

  515. telling them, "Boys, it's going to take

  516. more than just looking at me.

  517. >> You have to deny yourself." I notice in

  518. the text not only he speaks of the

  519. priorities but he speaks of the prospect

  520. in verse number 25. He that loveth his

  521. life shall lose it. If the priority is

  522. placed more upon a man's life and his

  523. possessions and his operation of his own

  524. life, then he will lose all of that. But

  525. he says he that hateth his life in this

  526. world, what's your Bible say? Shall keep

  527. it unto life eternal. The prospect of

  528. his demand shows us shows you and I this

  529. morning that Jesus when he offers

  530. salvation it causes about a turning.

  531. You're not going to come to Christ

  532. without repentance.

  533. >> You're not going to live for God without

  534. being right with him.

  535. >> You're not going to live for God and

  536. hold your life in one hand and try to

  537. hold him with the other. You going to

  538. have to turn loose of all that and grab

  539. hold to him lock, stock, and barrel.

  540. Amen. You going to have to take

  541. everything that Jesus has to give. I'm

  542. saying you have to get your priorities

  543. straightened out because he demands it.

  544. He said, "He that loveth his life shall

  545. lose it. If you hang on to what you've

  546. got, you'll surely lose it and it'll all

  547. go away." He said, "But if you hate your

  548. life, that means to esteem it less

  549. valuable than that which Christ has

  550. given. He that hateth his life in this

  551. world shall keep it unto life eternal."

  552. You see, self-denial leads to this

  553. promised soon deliverance. Look what he

  554. said again. He that hateth his life in

  555. this world shall keep it unto what? Life

  556. eternal.

  557. That self-denial is just for a time, but

  558. deliverance is for eternity.

  559. >> I'm not even at the message yet. Amen.

  560. We'll get there in a minute. All right.

  561. His death, his demand. I see his desire.

  562. Verse 27. I'm moving quickly. All right.

  563. His desire. You see, there was he was

  564. going to present his grace to the world.

  565. Verse 27. Now is my son trouble. What

  566. shall I say? Father, save me from this

  567. hour. But for this cause came I unto

  568. this hour. What was the cause? He came

  569. to this hour so he could die and offer

  570. salvation to the world.

  571. >> He said this is the reason I'm here. He

  572. didn't come to work miracles. HE DIDN'T

  573. COME TO PREACH SERMONS. HE CAME TO DIE.

  574. >> AMEN.

  575. >> AMEN. That was his purpose to present

  576. the grace of God to the world. Not only

  577. his desire was grace to be presented to

  578. the world, but his desire was God's

  579. glory to be proclaimed. Because in verse

  580. 28, look what he says. Father, glorify

  581. thy name. Exalt yourself.

  582. That's why we say, Lord, more than

  583. anything else, get glory to yourself.

  584. >> That was Jesus desire. And then God

  585. spoke from heaven saying, I have both

  586. glorified it and will glorify it again.

  587. Notice the message this morning. And

  588. we've considered his death, his demand,

  589. his desire. But I want you to see his

  590. delight in verse 26. You see Jesus here

  591. in the text, he puts this little

  592. statement here, and I I skipped over it

  593. for this reason because this is who

  594. Christ wants us to be. You see, if you

  595. are saved, God has divinely

  596. orchestrated. The Bible says Ephesians

    Ephesians 2:8

  597. 2:8, "For by grace are you saved through

  598. faith, and that not of yourselves is let

  599. not of yourself. It's the gift of God,

  600. not of works, lest any man should

  601. boast." And what does he say in verse

  602. 10? For we are his workmanship,

  603. created in Christ Jesus unto what? Good

  604. works, which God hath before ordained

  605. that we should walk in them. God didn't

  606. save you to sit. He saved you to serve.

  607. >> He saved you to work for him. HE SAVED

  608. YOU TO WITNESS FOR HIM, TO WIN SOULS FOR

  609. HIM. HIS DELIGHT is when his children

  610. serve him. Paul said it this way in

  611. Romans 12. HE SAID, "I BESEECH YOU. I

  612. BEG YOU, BRETHREN, THAT YOU PRESENT YOUR

  613. BODIES A LIVING SACRIFICE, HOLY,

  614. ACCEPTABLE UNTO GOD, which is what? Your

  615. reasonable service." Listen to what he

  616. says. Four things and I'll be done this

  617. morning concerning his delight. And I'm

  618. talking about the servants creed this

  619. morning. This is who we are. This should

  620. be who you are this morning. First of

  621. all, I would say this. Number one, there

  622. is an opportunity that is a is

  623. available. Notice verse 25, verse 26.

  624. What's that first phrase, church? If any

  625. man serve me, if any man serve me. You

  626. see, Christ through his death on the

  627. cross, this event is consuming the text.

  628. And so, he is still revealing the proper

  629. life of his servants and the delight of

  630. that life in in light of the cross. You

  631. see, if it wasn't for the cross, we

  632. wouldn't have no ability to serve.

  633. >> We have the opportunity to serve because

  634. of the cross. And when Jesus says, "If

  635. any man serve me," what is he presenting

  636. to us? Well, number one, this

  637. opportunity reveals that the candidate

  638. is open to anybody. Look what he says.

  639. "If any man," Now, I know that's simple

  640. this morning, but it's the truth. The

  641. candidate is open to all. If any man

  642. serve me, not only the candidate, but

  643. there is the calling. What is that

  644. calling? What does he say? if any man

  645. serve me. You see, our service this

  646. morning is the calling of God. And you,

  647. yes, you, you're a candidate.

  648. >> Amen.

  649. >> You say, "Preacher, well, I'm not

  650. available."

  651. Well, the opportunity is available,

  652. >> right?

  653. >> Amen.

  654. >> Because you're not available doesn't

  655. mean the opportunity is not there.

  656. Here's what I'm finding. People feel

  657. like the opportunity is not there. But

  658. here's the truth about your life and

  659. mine. There is always an opportunity to

  660. serve.

  661. >> And I'll say this, in light of the fact

  662. that that opportunity is there, God's

  663. saying, "Look, the opportunity is open,

  664. but I'm calling you.

  665. Serve me. This is your purpose. This is

  666. who I've made you to be. This is where

  667. you are supposed to be." You see, Christ

  668. knew his audience. Christ knew the

  669. diversity. He knew the Greeks were

  670. there. He knew the Jews were there. He

  671. knew the disciples were there. But he is

  672. revealing this new dispensation as an

  673. opportunity to all to what? To serve.

  674. For he himself was a servant. Listen to

  675. what he said. Matthew chapter number 20.

  676. Matthew chapter number 20. I encourage

  677. you to put it in your margin. Listen to

  678. what Jesus said. Matthew 20 verse number

  679. 28.

  680. He says this. Even as the Son of Man

  681. came not to be ministered unto, listen

  682. now, but to minister

  683. and to give his life a ransom for many.

  684. Even as the son of man came not to be

  685. ministered unto, but to minister. Jesus

  686. was a servant. Paul said it this way. He

  687. said in Philippians chapter 2 verse

    Philippians 2 chapter mention

  688. number 7, he made him he made himself of

  689. no reputation but took upon himself

  690. what? The form of a servant. You know

  691. what we need a revival of in Meadows

  692. Baptist Church? Servants.

  693. >> People want to serve. YOU SAY,

  694. "PREACHER, I WANT TO BE LIKE JESUS."

  695. SERVE. You say, "What does that

  696. constitute, preacher?" Anything that

  697. furthers the work of God. It goes all

  698. the way from preaching a sermon to

  699. cleaning the toilets to taking care of

  700. the grounds.

  701. >> And I just feel led to do this right

  702. here. And I would never do this. I'm not

  703. going to bury you. But how how long you

  704. been mowing the grass here? 38 years. 36

  705. >> 36 years. Never asked for a dime.

  706. >> That's service.

  707. He didn't ask for a thing. 30 37 years.

  708. Let me ask you, what are you doing for

  709. God?

  710. >> That's right.

  711. >> The son of man came to minister. He

  712. didn't come to be ministered unto. He

  713. came to minister.

  714. You know what? So many people they come

  715. to church, this their mindset. What can

  716. it do for me? I

  717. >> heard people say this, what do you have

  718. to offer for the kids?

  719. >> Let me ask you, what do you have to

  720. offer for the church?

  721. >> Why should we allow you to be a member?

  722. Are you saved? Number one, somebody say

  723. amen.

  724. >> Do you even want to live for God?

  725. >> Brother Josh said it here in revival

  726. meeting. He said there's some people

  727. they just want to go to church just

  728. because it's right thing to do in the

  729. south.

  730. >> That's right. Hey, there's an

  731. opportunity.

  732. It's available. is you can be a

  733. candidate. There is a call and he said,

  734. "Serve me." We are called to be

  735. servants. Romans 12:1 already said that.

    Romans 12:1

  736. Notice this. Second of all, not only the

  737. opportunity that is available, but

  738. consider second of all the obedience

  739. that is acceptable. Notice this verse

  740. number 26.

  741. If any man serve me, what's them next

  742. four words, church? Let him follow me.

  743. The opportunity that's available, it's

  744. open to all. If you want to serve, there

  745. is a work for you to do in the work of

  746. God. But you understand there's a

  747. criteria.

  748. You see, you can't serve without doing

  749. it his way.

  750. >> That's right.

  751. >> You can't serve without doing it

  752. the book's way.

  753. >> That's right.

  754. >> You see, service has a criteria. Number

  755. one, I'll say this about the obedience.

  756. There's a choice. Look what he says. If

  757. any man serve me, let him. You know what

  758. that means? It's on you.

  759. It's dependence on your choice. Let him

  760. then not only the choice but there's the

  761. conforming. Let him follow me. Who's he

  762. following? He's following Christ.

  763. >> Amen.

  764. >> Romans 12 verse number two. We always

  765. quote verse one. What does he say in

  766. verse two? Be not conformed to this

  767. world. Be ye transformed by the renewing

  768. of your mind that you may prove what is

  769. that good and acceptable and perfect

  770. will of God. You know what that means?

  771. That means you are conforming to Christ.

  772. >> Amen. You are being made like him. You

  773. are drawing yourself. He is drawing you

  774. unto himself. And you know what you're

  775. doing? The more the closer you get, the

  776. more like him you become.

  777. >> That's right.

  778. >> Obedience is imperative. Let me remind

  779. you to follow Christ means complete

  780. submission.

  781. Think about where he's headed to when

  782. he's telling them this. He's headed to

  783. the cross. Calvary is in view. just few

  784. short days away, probably less than

  785. seven days, probably like 5 days, Christ

  786. is going to be hanging on a cross. And

  787. he knows this.

  788. >> What's he telling him? If any MAN WILL

  789. SERVE ME, LET HIM FOLLOW ME.

  790. JESUS WAS FULLY PERSUADED THAT GOD WAS

  791. GOING TO TAKE CARE OF HIM. LET ME SAY

  792. THIS. YOU NEED TO BE FULLY PERSUADED

  793. THAT GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU.

  794. >> That's the only way you'll submit to

  795. him. FOLLOWING CHRIST, SERVING CHRIST.

  796. OBEDIENCE MEANS complete submission to

  797. follow Christ as he was headed to the

  798. cross. Let me let me give you this

  799. truth. He was headed to the cross. And

  800. to follow Christ means we must go to the

  801. cross.

  802. >> Matthew 16:24 again. If any man will

    Matthew 16:24

  803. come after me, let him deny himself and

  804. take up his cross and follow me. When

  805. you serve Jesus, it means the death of

  806. sin in your life.

  807. >> Romans chapter 6 says, "Shall we that

    Romans 6 chapter mention

  808. are dead to sin live any longer therein?

  809. God forbid.

  810. >> It means death to sin. It means

  811. self-denial.

  812. IT MEANS DEPARTING FROM THOSE WHO ARE

  813. WICKED in your life. It means being

  814. directed by the sovereign. IT MEANS YOUR

  815. LIFE being defined by the scriptures.

  816. How many of our lives, if we really

  817. matched them up,

  818. would fit?

  819. My life. Would it fit? You know what? I

  820. know it wouldn't fit perfect, but I hope

  821. it fits better tomorrow than it did

  822. today. Let me ask you, does your life

  823. fit?

  824. How close are you to this book? Your

  825. life, your service is defined by the

  826. scriptures. It's directed by the

  827. sovereign spirit of God in your life. He

  828. gives you direction, but the scriptures

  829. is the guidelines that you go by. He

  830. says, "If any man serve me, let him

  831. follow me."

  832. You see, we are directed and this the

  833. will is involved in this.

  834. The choice, it's a choice. It's a

  835. calling, but it's a choice. You must

  836. choose to serve Christ. And works

  837. involved.

  838. Let me say this. It ain't going to be

  839. easy being a Christian.

  840. >> You say, "Preacher, well, I I need

  841. something that's easy." Well, you're not

  842. going to find it here.

  843. >> When you get saved, you know what you're

  844. doing? You're placing your life in his

  845. hands. But you know what he commands you

  846. to do the rest of your life? To take his

  847. hand and allow him to lead you.

  848. >> Amen.

  849. >> You say, "Preacher, but he said he said

  850. my yoke is easy." Let me ask you

  851. something. What do you think it Why do

  852. you think he described it as a as a

  853. yoke?

  854. It's a burden.

  855. >> I'll tell you this, his yoke's a lot

  856. easier than the yoke of this world.

  857. >> That's right.

  858. >> But it ain't going to be easy. But it's

  859. a whole lot better with him. Somebody

  860. say amen.

  861. >> The obedience that is acceptable.

  862. There's the will of man is involved. The

  863. work is involved. It's laborious to be a

  864. servant. If any man serve me, let him

  865. follow me. Thirdly, moving quickly. The

  866. opportunity that is available, the

  867. obedience that is acceptable. Notice

  868. this. Thirdly, notice the orientation

  869. that is absolute.

  870. Say, what do you mean? Notice the verse.

  871. Verse 26. If any man serve me, let him

  872. follow me. What's that next phrase? And

  873. where I am, there shall also my servant

  874. be. Now, two sides of this. There is a a

  875. practical look at this. There the

  876. practical orientation is this. All

  877. right. Number one, the Bible says, look

  878. what he said. Where I am, where's Jesus

  879. at?

  880. He's in our heart. Amen.

  881. >> He's in our church. Hallelujah.

  882. >> Where I am, what's he say? There shall

  883. also my servant be. Yeah.

  884. >> How many times are you where he is?

  885. >> I'll tell you where he's at. He's in

  886. this Bible. When you get up in the

  887. morning, it's time to crack the pages on

  888. and talk to him. That's where you'll

  889. find him.

  890. >> Amen.

  891. >> He's in your prayer closet. When you get

  892. in there and you got needs that you

  893. don't know how to fix,

  894. >> you talk to him. He's there. He's at

  895. church Sunday morning, Sunday night, and

  896. Wednesday night and revival meeting.

  897. >> Amen.

  898. He's here.

  899. Where I am, there shall also my servant

  900. be. You can judge your life by how

  901. faithful you are to these things

  902. practically speaking. But it gets

  903. better. You see, this text does not mean

  904. practically where I am, there shall also

  905. my servant be. That's not what he's

  906. talking about practically. It's a good

  907. application, but it's not the truth. All

  908. right, about this text. You ought to be

  909. where he is. Somebody say amen.

  910. >> But this this text really means it's a

  911. prophetical

  912. implication. Now notice the phrase

  913. again. And where I am, there shall also

  914. my servant be. Now what's he been

  915. talking about? He's talking about

  916. Calvary, ain't he? He's headed to the

  917. cross. And what does he tell these boys

  918. in John chapter number 14 and verse

  919. number three? Listen to this verse with

  920. me for just a minute. John 14:3. And if

    John 14:3

  921. I go and prepare a place for you, I will

  922. come again and receive you unto myself.

  923. What's that last phrase? That where I

  924. am, there you may be also. this text,

  925. Jesus is telling them, boys, I'm going

  926. to the cross. If any man serve me, let

  927. him follow me. Where's he headed? He's

  928. headed to the cross. Look what he says

  929. in the verse again. If any man serve me,

  930. let him follow. And where I am, there

  931. shall also my servant be. What is he

  932. saying? If you will follow me to the

  933. cross, when I get on the other side of

  934. the cross, you'll end up where I'm at.

  935. >> All right, let me give you this. All

  936. right, the orientation that is absolute.

  937. Number one, there's the present

  938. dwelling. Verse 26, where I am. Christ

  939. physically was standing before those

  940. men. But let me remind you something.

  941. Christ was somewhere else at the same

  942. time.

  943. Notice John 3. I love this. John 3. John

  944. 3:3. Jesus says this. And no man hath

  945. ascended up to heaven, but he that came

  946. down from heaven, even the son of man,

  947. listen to it now, which is in heaven.

  948. That's present tense. So you know what?

  949. As Jesus was on the earth, where was he

  950. at still? In heaven. You know what?

  951. Because I'm saved, I'm present here in

  952. what is this? Meadows, Danbury, whatever

  953. you want to call it. Walnut Cove. Amen.

  954. It's somewhere in there. Amen. I'm here

  955. right now

  956. >> at the Meadows Baptist Church. But you

  957. know where else I'm at?

  958. >> I'm in heaven.

  959. >> Amen.

  960. >> Notice the verse again.

  961. Where I am, there shall also my servant

  962. be. There is a present dwelling. Christ,

  963. as he was on this earth, he was also in

  964. heaven because he's God. And because he

  965. is God, he is going to the cross. And he

  966. is telling them that the cross, hey,

  967. it's just temporary. You know what he's

  968. telling them? I'm going to get up, boys.

  969. You know what we're going to do? And

  970. when I get up on the other side of this

  971. thing, you're going with me.

  972. >> John 14. Again, we always talk about

  973. this, and I hate to have to preach this,

  974. but I'm gonna have to do it anyway.

  975. John 14, we always say, "Man, Jesus has

  976. been he built the earth in six days,

  977. rested on the seventh. He's been

  978. building my mansion for over 2,000

  979. years." And that sounds real good, but

  980. the truth is it ain't biblical.

  981. Notice John 14.

  982. Let not your heart be troubled. Verse

  983. number one, you believe in God, believe

  984. also in me. In my father's house are,

  985. notice that word, in my father's house

  986. are, not will be, but are. In my

  987. father's house are many mansions. If it

  988. were not so, I would have told you. Hey,

  989. look, if ain't a home up there for you,

  990. ought to let you know that.

  991. >> Notice it again. I go to prepare a place

  992. for you. You know what he's still

  993. talking about in verse two? He's not

  994. talking about heaven. He's talking about

  995. the cross.

  996. >> What was preparing a place for us in

  997. heaven? The cross.

  998. >> How do we get to heaven? John 14:6.

    John 14:6

  999. Jesus said to them, "I am the way, the

1000. truth, and the life. No man cometh unto

1001. the father but by me."

1002. >> The cross. Ain't that right? Notice

1003. verse three again. And if I go and

1004. prepare a place for you, I will come

  1005. again. What's he telling? He's not

1006. saying he's not telling them, "Hey, I'm

1007. coming back in the second advent." No,

1008. he's saying, "I'm going to get up."

1009. >> He's saying, "I'm going to get up out of

  1010. the grave, boys."

  1011. >> Amen.

1012. >> Notice it again. I will come again and

1013. receive you unto myself. Now, you don't

1014. have to believe this this morning. You

1015. don't have to. I know it messes up a lot

1016. of good preaching, but what I believe

1017. that is is when Jesus comes back, you

1018. know what he does after he gets up

1019. again? What does he do to those men

1020. after he is risen from the dead? You

1021. know what he does in the upper room? He

1022. meets with them. What does he tell them?

1023. He breathes on them and they receive the

1024. Holy Ghost. Notice the verse. I will

1025. come again and receive you unto myself.

1026. He breathed on them, receiving the Holy

1027. Ghost. Notice the phrase again, that

  1028. where I am,

1029. there you may be also. After he breathed

1030. on them, it was just a few short days.

1031. And what did he do? He ascended, didn't

  1032. he?

1033. So in John chapter number 12, what's he

1034. telling them? Where I am, there shall

  1035. also my servant be.

1036. Prophetically speaking in heaven as he

1037. is there we will be there as well.

1038. >> We'll be there with him where I am. You

1039. say, "How is that, preacher?" Well, he's

1040. already given the prerequisite. The

1041. Christian life is summed up in the first

1042. two phrases. If any man serve me, let

1043. him follow me. If you spend your life

1044. following him, you know what you going

1045. to do? Just like Eno, one of these days,

1046. God's going to tell you, you're closer

1047. to my house than you are to yours.

1048. >> Come home. Amen. IF YOU SPEND YOUR LIFE

1049. FOLLOWING HIM, you know what you're

1050. going TO FIND ONE OF THESE DAYS? If

1051. you've been with him, you're going to

1052. end your tenure on this side, but you're

1053. GOING TO START ONE OVER THERE. AMEN.

1054. HEY, let me let me just back up again on

  1055. that. It's already started.

  1056. >> That's right. Amen.

1057. >> You're just going to step out of this

1058. life to be in that life.

  1059. >> Amen.

1060. >> That'll help you if you let it. Amen.

  1061. >> The orientation that's absolute. Hey,

1062. where I am, there shall also my servant

1063. be. settled where he is. If you serve

1064. him, that's where you going to be.

  1065. >> That's right,

  1066. >> man. I'm thankful. I ain't got a doubt

  1067. in my mind.

  1068. >> Amen.

1069. >> I'm telling you, the devil has beat me

1070. all to pieces over the last few days.

1071. But I can tell you this right now, it

1072. feels good in my soul. Amen.

1073. >> I say fooy on that old rascal. Amen.

  1074. >> Amen.

1075. >> He's a liar and the father of it.

1076. >> Notice this. I'm done. Verse the fourth

1077. thing. The orientation that's absolute.

1078. Notice fourthfully, notice the objective

1079. that is anticipated in the verse. Verse

1080. number 26. I, he said, where I am, there

1081. shall also my servant be. Thank God for

  1082. heaven.

1083. My home is just around the bend going to

1084. be there for long. Verse 26, if any man

1085. serve me, him will my father honor. I

1086. love this, brother Mike. I love this.

1087. You see, Jesus is telling them, hey,

1088. look, if any man serve me, let him

1089. follow me. And one of these days, if you

1090. follow me to the end, where I am, there

1091. shall also my servant be. You're going

1092. to end up with me. If any man serve me,

1093. him will my father honor. So that

1094. service is the precipice of this

1095. thought. Number one, in the objective,

1096. there is the prerequisite. If any man

1097. serve me, this is founded upon what you

1098. do for Christ. Now, you say, "Preacher,

1099. if I don't serve him, does that mean

1100. that I'm not going to go to heaven?" No.

  1101. Here's what here's here's the thing

1102. about it. All right? You can be saved

1103. and not serve him. It's very possible.

1104. But I'll tell you this, you're going to

1105. live your life in misery because you're

1106. not going to be sure about it. Number

1107. one. Number two, when you get there, you

1108. ain't going to have nothing to give back

1109. to this back to him. Amen.

1110. I notice not only the prerequisite in

1111. the text, but notice also not only the

1112. prerequisite in the objective, but

1113. notice the praise. Him or my father

1114. honor. That that word honor means to

  1115. esteem highly.

1116. >> Means to place worth upon.

1117. How much God think you're worth?

1118. How much God think I'm worth?

1119. Him will my father honor. What does he

1120. mean by that? Well, number one, this

1121. honor the father is earned.

1122. It's earned honor. Listen to what Jesus

1123. said. John Luke chapter number 14.

1124. Luke 14 verse number 10. He gives this

1125. this parable. Verse number eight. When

1126. thou art bidden to of any man to a

1127. wedding, sit not down in the highest

1128. room, lest the more honorable man than

1129. thou be bidden of him, and he that bathe

1130. thee in him come, say unto thee, give

1131. this man place, and they'll begin with

1132. shame to take the lowest room. But when

1133. thou art bidden, go and sit down in the

1134. lowest room, that when he that bathe

1135. thee cometh, he may say unto thee,

1136. friend, go up higher, then shalt thou

1137. have worship in the presence of them

1138. that sit and meet with thee. Verse 11,

1139. for whosoever exalteth himself shall be

1140. abased, and he that humbleth himself

  1141. shall be exalted.

  1142. >> Amen.

1143. >> You know what the measure of your

1144. service is? One preacher said it was

1145. this way. The way with God, the way up

  1146. is the is down.

1147. The way up with God's down. And if

1148. you're going to be exalted, you're going

1149. to have to first be humbled in this

  1150. life.

1151. >> I'm talking about the menial things,

1152. things nobody else wants to do. I'm

1153. talking about this this this service,

  1154. this honor is earned.

1155. It's earned by your service.

1156. It's not only earned honor, but it's

1157. exclusive honor. Notice the verse again.

  1158. Him will my father.

  1159. Who's that?

  1160. It's God the Father, isn't it?

1161. >> I want God to honor me

  1162. >> when I get to heaven.

  1163. >> Amen.

1164. You know, you've heard it said before.

1165. Why would he say, "Well done," if you've

  1166. not done well.

1167. I want to hear him say, "Well done, thou

  1168. good and faithful servant."

1169. It's exclusive. John said it this way in

1170. 1 John chapter number two verse number

1171. 28. He said, "My little children abide

1172. in him that when he shall appear that we

1173. may have confidence and not be ashamed

  1174. before him

1175. >> at his coming." You can be ashamed

1176. before him. Notice this. I'm done. This

1177. is earned honor. This is exclusive

1178. honor. But this is eternal

1179. honor. The text, if any man serve me,

1180. him will my father honor. Now, that's in

1181. the perfect present tense, but I that's

1182. not the proof I'm going to give. Listen

1183. to what Peter says. First Peter chapter

    1 Peter 5 chapter mention

  1184. 5,

  1185. the crown of glory.

1186. Most preachers say this is the pastor's

  1187. crown.

1188. A lot men smarter than I am. They say

1189. that. But I I think any any shepherd

  1190. that

1191. leads God's people pastor or no. First

1192. Peter chap 5. Listen what he says in

1193. verse number one. The elders which are

1194. among you I exhort who also am also an

1195. elder and a witness of the sufferings of

1196. Christ and also a partaker of the glory

1197. that shall be revealed. Feed the flock

1198. of God which is among you taking the

1199. oversight thereof. Not by constraint but

1200. willingly. Not for filthy lucer but of a

1201. ready mind. neither as being lords over

1202. God's heritage, but being in samples to

1203. the flock. Verse four, and when the

1204. chief shepherd shall appear, ye shall

1205. receive a cl crown of glory that fadeth

  1206. not away.

1207. The reward of your service is eternal.

1208. >> Let me ask you this as she begins to

1209. play. Why in the world would you give

1210. your life to something that's going to

  1211. blow up?

1212. It's going to go back to dust. You waste

1213. your life doing everything else, but

1214. you're not faithful to the one thing

1215. that's going to last from here to there.

1216. One preacher put it this way in that

1217. meeting this week. Love the way he put

1218. it. He said, "So many people have common

1219. sense, but they have no eternal logic.

1220. They have sense about life here and now,

  1221. but they have no

  1222. eternal logic.

1223. They never think about what's over

1224. there. They never think about what's to

1225. come. They're always living for now.

1226. And you know what? Here's what you're

1227. going to find. People that live that

1228. way, you know what they do? They always

  1229. end up empty.

  1230. But the servants creed

1231. is I just want him to honor me.

1232. No doubt in my mind, a servant of God

  1233. wrote this.

1234. He said, "My soul is living. My life I'm

1235. giving to serve others willing at

1236. Christ's own bidding to help those

1237. crying know of Christ dying. to know of

1238. our cleansing and of his rising that

1239. they might believe in answer God's

  1240. calling.

1241. Let me ask you, are you a servant?

  1242. Servants creed is

  1243. Lord, I'll follow you.

1244. And one of these days when I followed

1245. you the last mile of the way and that

1246. close of the day comes, I'll stand in

  1247. his presence

1248. and I pray to God, he'll say, "Well

1249. done." But if I don't finish, if you

1250. don't finish, we'll not hear it. Every

1251. head bowed and every eye closed. Some

1252. are praying this morning. Others need to

1253. come. Let me ask you, you have eternal

1254. logic today? You ever thought about

  1255. what's after this?

  1256. You say, "Preacher, I

1257. preach I never have give too much

  1258. thought about what's

1259. after this. Church is about the only

1260. thing makes me think about death.

1261. Try not to think about it, preacher. It

  1262. makes me uncomfortable."

1263. Maybe you hear today and you lost. Be

1264. honest between you and God say,

1265. "Preacher, I'm not saved. Would you pray

1266. for me? Just slip your hand up. I'll

1267. pray for you. Hey, sir. Hey, ma'am. God

  1268. knows your heart.

1269. Slip your hand up. I'll pray for you.

  1270. God knows.

1271. You can fool all of us. You don't You

1272. ain't going to fool God. Let me ask you

1273. this, child of God. Are you serving him?

  1274. The servants's creed is Lord, I'm

  1275. submitted. Lord, I'm surrendered.

1276. Lord, I'm settled. that this is the life

1277. that you've called ME TO LIVE AND

  1278. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.

1279. If we could get that in our mind, you

1280. say, "Preacher, would you pray for me?

  1281. God, help me

1282. to be a better servant."

  1283. God sees that.

1284. Maybe you're here today and you say,

  1285. "Preacher, I don't know that I've ever

1286. served God, but I really want to start.

1287. Would you pray for me?" And preacher,

1288. help me pray that God will show me what

  1289. I need to do.

1290. Anybody like that day? Preacher, I never

1291. served God, but I want to start today.

1292. Just slip your hand up. I'll pray for

1293. you. God God wants to help you.

1294. He'll help you do it. Let me ask you

  1295. this.

1296. If Jesus were to come back today,

1297. would you be satisfied with your

  1298. service?

1299. Paul said when he got to the end this

1300. life, he said, "I fought a good fight.

1301. I've finished my course. I have kept the

1302. faith." What'd he say? Henceforth is

1303. laid up for me a crown of righteousness,

1304. which the Lord shall give to me in that

1305. day, not to me only, but to all them

1306. also that love his appearing.

1307. Father, I pray in Jesus name, God, for

1308. every heart that's here this morning, I

  1309. pray you give grace.

1310. I pray you give mercy. And Lord, I ask

1311. you would help us today. Help us to

  1312. serve you.

1313. Cuz Lord, we deserve nothing. God, we

1314. have nothing without you. And Lord, I

1315. pray, God, that you'd help us to serve

1316. you and surrender to you in these days.

1317. Lord, we'll be sure to thank you for

1318. what you do. Save that when it's near as

1319. tail today in Jesus name. Amen.

1320. >> Thank you for joining our service today.
