  106. >> Amen.

  107. I want to thank the Lord for

  108. >> Amen.

  109. >> saved me and for for his many blessings

  110. and you know uh I come in this morning

  111. and I was kind of kind of struggling in

  112. my walk with Jesus. And uh you know I

  113. just wasn't in the right mindset. And

  114. Matthew, I want to thank you for that

  115. Sunday school lesson that you know it

  116. really blessed my heart. You know, I

  117. started feeling more Jesus coming back

  118. into my life and kind of get and the

  119. more Matthew talked about rejoicing in

  120. the Lord and stuff, you know what?

  121. >> I I just felt better and better and

  122. better. And that's what it happens

  123. whenever we come to church.

  124. >> Amen. And we get around other people

  125. that are saved in our life.

  126. >> It encourages us.

  127. >> I went and went walking this morning at

  128. Riverbluff. You know, you get out by

  129. yourself. Sometimes old devil, like

  130. Matthew was talking, he'll get into us.

  131. That's right.

  132. >> And he'll find a little weak spot and

  133. he'll just draw that wig and he'll he'll

  134. start putting thoughts in your mind and

  135. things and your past and stuff like

  136. that.

  137. >> But you know what? I come to church. I

  138. got around my brothers and sisters in

  139. Christ. I got around my church family.

  140. >> That's right.

  141. >> You know, I I come in here, I wasn't

  142. looking for encouragement or nothing

  143. like that because old world had got it

  144. just gotten just gotten there.

  145. >> It does.

  146. >> And all of a sudden, you know, I started

  147. paying attention to God's word and I

  148. started looking around and thinking, I

  149. am so blessed.

  150. >> So blessed to have a church that I can

  151. come into.

  152. >> Yes. and not look to get more

  153. discouraged, but I got encouraged and

  154. God started filling my heart. And that's

  155. what we're here for. We're here to

  156. rejoice and man

  157. died for us.

  158. >> That's right.

  159. >> Bless you.

  160. >> I fail him so much. But when I come to

  161. church, I get such a great feeling

  162. >> in my heart. And I get around brothers

  163. and sisters. I go to Betty's Grocery. I

  164. got brothers and sisters in Christ. I

  165. went and watched my granddaughters play.

  166. My kids are saved. I got around them. I

  167. got to rejoice in you.

  168. >> Praise the Lord.

  169. >> But guess what? I got to hold by myself.

  170. >> Yeah.

  171. >> This morning. Amen.

  172. >> And allow the devil to creep in. That's

  173. >> right.

  174. >> And that's what it says about being

  175. around like faith drawing. That's right.

  176. >> Drawing. I'm the draw of Matthew Sunday

  177. school teacher. I'm to draw off of the

  178. preaching. That's right.

  179. >> I'm to draw off my brothers and sisters

  180. in Christ come up and say, "Hey, I love

  181. you, brother. You know, I thought about

  182. you this week." That's the way we ought

  183. to be. Hey, we draw energy. We draw

  184. energy. And that's what he talks about.

  185. We just need to draw energy from each

  186. other and praise God and just hey, bless

  187. the doors wide open. That's right. Enjoy

  188. God's grace.

  189. >> That's right.

  190. >> That's good.

  191. >> There's

  192. a day when

  193. shall come. No more clouds in the sky.

  194. No more tears to hear the eye.

  195. All his peace forever more on that happy

  196. golden shore.

  197. What a day, glorious day

  198. that will be.

  199. What a day

  200. that will be.

  201. And by Jesus I shall see. And I look

  202. upon his face. The one who save me by

  203. his grace.

  204. And he takes me by the hand and leads me

  205. through the promised land.

  206. What a day. Glorious day

  207. will be.

  208. will be

  209. sorrow

  210. no more

  211. to

  212. thank you Jesus

  213. and no more

  214. over there and forever

  215. I will be with the one who died for me.

  216. What a day glorious day

  217. that will be.

  218. On a day

  219. that will be with my Jesus I shall see.

  220. And I look upon his face. The one who

  221. save me by his grace.

  222. And he takes me by the hand and leads me

  223. through the promised land.

  224. What a day. Glorious

  225. will be.

  226. >> Amen.

  227. One of God's greatest

  228. >> her brother

  229. was the same

  230. And God looks out for him.

  231. >> He's bigger than we are. But I thank God

  232. for that.

  233. My heart breaks for y'all.

  234. >> Amen.

  235. >> I can see John running around this

  236. church now when he was one boy.

  237. >> But God will bring back

  238. their protection.

  239. >> Let's stand in fellowship as the choir

  240. comes down.

  241. Hallelujah.

  242. Amen.

  243. Congratulations.

  244. Hallelujah.

  245. fire.

  246. Hallelujah.

  247. Here

  248. we go.

  249. 2.

  250. Glory.

  251. Hallelujah.

  252. Amen.

  253. Miss Bell, I want you to stand right

  254. there and tell everybody what just

  255. happened to you.

  256. Bless.

  257. >> Amen.

  258. >> That's good.

  259. >> In case you hadn't figured out yet, he

  260. really don't need any of us.

  261. >> It don't take our efforts. It don't take

  262. anything we do. God deals with a heart.

  263. And um Miss Bell have been struggling

  264. with assurance salvation for some time.

  265. And uh I hope you know this, sister. I

  266. didn't I saw that note you left me up

  267. here. And I've been praying for you.

  268. >> Amen.

  269. >> And uh I just want it to be real for

  270. you.

  271. >> Amen.

  272. >> Cuz salvation is between you and the

  273. Lord.

  274. >> That's right.

  275. >> It ain't got nothing to do with me. It

  276. ain't got nothing to do with anybody

  277. else in here. It's just between you and

  278. the Lord. And uh boy, ain't it better

  279. that burden gone.

  280. >> That's the power of God is what that is.

  281. >> I bless the name of the Lord before it

  282. this morning. And uh well, I tell you

  283. what, I'd be all right. We just go home

  284. on that. But good night.

  285. What are you supposed to do after that?

  286. Amen.

  287. >> But uh well, hallelujah.

  288. >> Praise God.

  293. Spirit's presence. And uh

  294. >> I'm telling you, ain't nothing like it.

  295. I bless his name for it. And uh we're

  296. going to take up an offering and I'm

  297. going to preach this morning. I'm just

  298. we're just going to go right on into it

  299. uh today. And ushers, y'all come on this

  300. way. We'll go ahead and take up an

  301. offering. That'll be good, brother. I

  302. appreciate it. We'll just go right into

  303. the preaching this morning. I just feel

  304. like that's what we need to do.

  305. >> But, uh,

  306. >> he is. And, uh, I tell you what, if

  307. you're not ready to meet him, today be a

  308. good day. Get saved by the grace of God.

  309. And, uh, I appreciate the Holy Ghost

  310. dealing with hearts. And I tell you

  311. this, there's a lot of stuff going on.

  312. We got plans today. I I realize every

  313. bit of that, but I ain't worried about

  314. it. All right. And we're going to go on

  315. with a service this morning and we're

  316. going to take up the offering and uh

  317. yeah, let's do sing the hymn while they

  318. take up the offering and then we'll go

  329. Lord, I believe you're coming soon. And

  330. uh I know it ain't going to be very

  331. long. And God, I pray you'd help us this

  332. morning. God, we stand in desperate

  333. need. Lord, there's many heavy hearts in

  334. our church, but God, I'm thankful in

  335. spite of the heaviness, Lord, of the

  336. hearts of your people. God, we have the

  337. Holy Spirit of God, Lord, that has come

  338. by to grace us with his presence today.

  339. And I thank you for that, God. I ask you

  340. humbly, God, that you would help us this

  341. morning. I pray you'd exalt your son and

  342. glorify yourself. And I pray you'd

  343. encourage and strengthen the church of

  344. God today. Lord, I ask you for whatever

  345. needs are present in our midst today

  346. that you'd give glory and honor unto

  347. yourself. And Lord, be sure to give you

  348. the thanks, all the praise and glory for

  349. what you do. God, we thank you once

  350. again for saving Miss Belt this morning.

  351. I bless your name for it. Help us save

  352. that other one that here today that's

  353. nearest tail. Lord, if there's anybody

  354. lost or if there's many lost this

  355. morning, I pray you do a mighty work,

  356. we'll give you thanks for what you do

  357. because we ask it in Jesus name. Amen.

  358. Amen. Let us all stand and we'll sing to

  359. God be the glory. Amen.

  360. To God be the glory. Great things he

  361. hath done. So loved he the world that he

  362. gave us his son who yielded his life and

  363. atonement for sin and open the lifegate

  364. that all may go in. Praise the Lord.

  365. Praise the Lord. Let the earth hear his

  366. voice. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.

  367. Let the people rejoice.

  368. Oh, come to the father through Jesus the

  369. son and give him the glory. Great things

  370. he hath done. Oh perfect redemption, the

  371. purchase of blood to every believer.

  372. The promise of God, the violender

  373. who truly believes

  374. from Jesus

  375. and receives. Praise the Lord. Praise

  387. Let the earth hear his voice. Praise the

  388. Lord. Praise the Lord. Let the people

  390. Oh, come to the Father through Jesus the

  391. Son and give him the glory. Great things

  393. Amen. Amen.

  394. Amen. Thank you for singing this

  395. morning. If you have your Bible, invite

  396. you to turn with me to the book of

  397. Genesis. Genesis chapter number 7. and

  398. uh thankful for what God has already

  399. done in our midst today. And I tell you

  400. this, the Bible says faith cometh by

  401. hearing and hearing by the word of God.

  402. And I just believe this is what the Lord

  403. would have us to do this morning. And I

  404. want to preach what God has put on my

  405. heart. Genesis chapter number 7. I want

  406. to read just a few verses to you this

  407. morning and preach a thought with the

  408. help of the Lord out of Genesis chapter

  409. number 7. I want to invite you to stand

  410. with me once again, please. Honor

  411. reverence to the reading of God's word.

  412. Genesis chapter 7. It's good to have

    Genesis 7 chapter mention

  413. brother Cliff Willis here in the service

  414. with us today. Preacher, thank you for

  415. being here coming by and visit us. It's

  416. so good to have you and I appreciate you

  417. being here as well as every visitor.

  418. Thank you for being here in the house of

  419. God. And you members, we love you and

  420. appreciate each one of you. And man, I'm

  421. thankful for what God's doing. And I

  422. tell you this, church, don't forget what

  423. you're seeing these days. Amen. And God

  424. is blessing, God is moving, and uh

  425. anywhere God is working, the devil's

  426. working as well. And let me say this

  427. this morning, whatever if there's

  428. something in your heart that might

  429. hinder this service, uh these altars are

  430. open this morning. You can come get that

  431. thing off of you this morning. You can

  432. have liberty to enjoy uh the service,

  433. the spirit of God this morning. And man,

  434. I'm telling you, it's rich in here. I

  435. feel his presence. And I'll tell you

  436. this, you say, "Preacher, we don't go

  437. all feelings." And you're right. But

  438. boy, I'm thankful. Uh there's enough

  439. days that I don't feel it, but I'm

  440. thankful when I do. Amen. And I bless

  441. his name for it this morning. Genesis

  442. chapter number 7 verse number, let's

  443. begin reading in verse number verse

  444. number 11. Genesis chapter 7 verse

    Genesis 7 chapter mention

  445. number 11. You Christians pray for us

  446. this morning that God would help us.

  447. Genesis 7 verse number 11. The Bible

  448. says in the 600th year of Noah's life,

  449. in the second month, the 17th day of the

  450. month, the same day were all the

  451. fountains of the great deep broken up

  452. and the windows of heaven were opened.

  453. And the rain was upon the earth 40 days

  454. and 40 nights. in the selfs same day

  455. entered Noah and Shim and Ham and

  456. Japheth the sons of Noah and Noah's wife

  457. and the three wives of his sons with

  458. them into the ark. They and every beast

  459. after his kind, and all the cattle after

  460. their kind, and every creeping thing

  461. that creepeth upon the earth after his

  462. kind, and every foul after his kind,

  463. every bird of every sort. Verse 15,

  464. notice what your Bible says. And they

  465. went in unto Noah into the ark, two and

  466. two of all flesh, wherein is the breath

  467. of life. And they that went in went in

  468. male and female of all flesh, as God had

  469. commanded him. And notice the last

  470. phrase. And the Lord, what's your Bible

  471. say? Shut him in. I don't know about you

  472. this morning, but I'm thankful that

  473. there are some things in my life and

  474. yours that are sealed. Amen. My

  475. salvation is the seal. It's the earnest

  476. of the Holy Ghost in my heart, knowing

  477. that one of these days, God's going to

  478. come back and take us home with him. And

  479. until then, I'm espoused to one husband,

  480. the Lord Jesus Christ. And when he comes

  481. and takes me home, the spirit of God is

  482. going to lead me safely over those

  483. waters, and I'll be in heaven's fair

  484. land. But until then, we've got a

  485. journey to do, and we're on a trip.

  486. Amen. And I want to preach this morning

  487. out of this text on Noah and the ark.

  488. Amen. You say, "Preacher, that's not a

  489. flamboyant title." Well, it's a

  490. scriptural title. Amen. And so, we're

  491. going to preach on that for just a

  492. little while. Let's pray and ask the

  493. Lord to help us for just a little while.

  494. Father, thank you for allowing us to be

  495. in the house of God. Thank you so much,

  496. God, for what you've done in our midst

  497. this morning. And Lord, you just

  498. reminded me again, God, that it is not

  499. in vain, Lord. And I THANK YOU. I BLESS

  500. YOUR NAME for that, Lord, for the

  501. sleepless nights and the prayers that's

  502. been prayed. God, I thank you so much

  503. for being so good and so blessed to us,

  504. Father, in these DAYS AND SHINING YOUR

  505. GRACE UPON US, LORD, making your face

  506. glow upon your children. God, I ask

  507. humbly, Lord, that you would help us

  508. this morning, Lord. I thank you for

  509. saving Miss Bella. And Lord, I'm going

  510. to go ahead and thank you, Lord, for

  511. saving those others that are in this

  512. building this morning, lost without God.

  513. And God, I pray you'd move in a mighty

  514. way. Lord, help me to preach with power

  515. and demonstration of the spirit this

  516. morning. Remove every hindrance, God.

  517. Bind the devil and the forces of hell,

  518. Lord, that would hinder. You said they

  519. overcame them by the blood of the lamb

  520. and by the word of their testimony, and

  521. they love not their lives, even under

  522. the death. God, I plead the blood this

  523. morning. Lord, as a dying man to dying

  524. people, I pray you'd PREACH ME THIS

  525. MORNING. GOD, WOULD YOU ACCOMPLISH ALL

  526. YOUR WILL IN THIS service and do what

  527. needs to be done? We'll thank you for it

  528. because we ask it in Jesus' name. You

  529. can be seated. Amen. And amen this

  530. morning. Now, we've been looking here at

  531. Genesis 6 over the last few weeks.

  532. Several messages here that we've looked

  533. at, and God dealt with my heart about

  534. this portion of scripture. He woke me up

  535. this morning with this on my mind. I was

  536. it was on my heart yesterday, but I

  537. didn't really know what direction the

  538. Lord would have us to go in. But I

  539. really believe this morning if there's

  540. anything that I could lead off with in

  541. this ser service uh sermon this morning,

  542. I would say this morning that death is

  543. certain.

  544. >> Death is certain this morning. And the

  545. reality of my life and yours is that if

  546. we do not go by the way of the rapture

  547. that there will come a day in our life

  548. that death will come. But boy, I'm

  549. thankful that while we're here, he's

  550. given us life. Amen. And life more

  551. abundantly to live for him. And I I want

  552. to share with you some things out of

  553. this text this morning. A little

  554. different than what I would normally

  555. preach, but it's been like that a whole

  556. lot here lately. And so I'll just say

  557. this. I'm thankful God don't have to

  558. work like I want him to. Amen. God don't

  559. have to operate the way that we think he

  560. has to operate. Amen. He can preach

  561. through us and to us however he wants

  562. to. But I notice in this text this

  563. morning, of course, this story beginning

  564. in chapter number five, Noah is born

  565. unto a man by the name of Lamech. And we

  566. considered there in chapter number six

  567. on last Sunday night the state of the

  568. world at the time of Noah's presence

  569. here on this earth and how that the

  570. sinfulness and the shamefulness of man's

  571. heart was exceeding great before the

  572. Lord and God was great with an entire

  573. generation of people and though they

  574. were great in every way. They had great

  575. strength and they had great size and

  576. they had great social status. God didn't

  577. care about any of that. But what he did

  578. notice was that their sin was greater

  579. than all of that. And let me say this to

  580. you, just to repeat it again this

  581. morning. God does not care how big you

  582. are this morning. HE DOES NOT CARE HOW

  583. GREAT YOU THINK YOU ARE in the flesh.

  584. BUT LET ME SAY THIS, far greater than

  585. you think you are this MORNING IS THE

  586. SIN PROBLEM that's in your life. Amen.

  587. And when I come to this text, the Bible

  588. tells us that Noah was different in

  589. spite of the defilement of the world.

  590. Noah was different than all those around

  591. him. And I want to preach it this

  592. morning on Noah and the ark and give you

  593. three things this morning. I want to

  594. consider first of all, I'll give you the

  595. outline and then let you go back in and

  596. fill in this morning. But I want to

  597. consider the man this morning. I want to

  598. consider the miracles and I want to

  599. consider the message this morning of

  600. Noah and the ark out of Genesis 6 and

  601. Genesis chapter number seven. Now we

  602. looked there on last Sunday night

  603. concerning the story of Noah and how the

  604. years were intertwined that Methuselah

  605. his name means when he when he dies it

  606. shall come. Speaking of the judgment of

  607. God and the flood upon the earth and

  608. after Methuselah died after that event

  609. had taken place that his daddy Enoch had

  610. prophesied of. We know that that very

  611. same year the flood came upon the earth.

  612. And in that time period, in that day,

  613. Noah and his family were preparing. The

  614. Bible says here in the text that in the

  615. midst of that sinful age, the Bible says

  616. in verse number eight, "But Noah found

  617. grace in the eyes of the Lord." AND WHEN

  618. I THINK ABOUT the man Noah this morning,

  619. the first thing that comes to my mind is

  620. the favor of God that was on his life.

  621. The Bible says that Noah found grace in

  622. the eyes of the Lord. And you say,

  623. "Preacher, what does that mean?" Well,

  624. it means this. number one that God was

  625. watching. You're

  626. >> right.

  627. >> Amen. You say, "Preacher, how is that?"

  628. Well, notice Genesis chapter number

  629. seven and verse number one. Look what

  630. your Bible says. And the Lord said unto

  631. Noah, "Come thou and all thy whole house

  632. into the ark." Look what your Bible

  633. says. For thee have I seen, notice that,

  634. "For thee have I seen righteous before

  635. me in this generation." God had noticed

  636. what Noah's life consisted of. God had

  637. taken notice of Noah's careful desire to

  638. be righteous and be obedient to the

  639. commandment of God. And because of that,

  640. he received the favor of God. And let me

  641. say this to you this morning. When it

  642. comes to your life and mine, I

  643. understand that there is no

  644. righteousness within you and I. But the

  645. righteousness that Noah possessed is the

  646. same righteousness that you and I

  647. possess. And it only comes upon terms in

  648. faith in the word of God.

  649. >> Right? He believed what God told him.

  650. And the Bible says as Abraham's account

  651. in Genesis 15 and verse number six, he

  652. believed God and it was imputed unto

  653. him. It was counted unto him for

  654. righteousness. And so Noah had received

  655. the favor of God. In verse number eight,

  656. I notice not only Noah's favor, but I've

  657. already alluded to this a little bit. We

  658. notice also in verse number nine, Noah's

  659. faith. Look what your Bible says. These

  660. are the generations of Noah. Genesis

    Genesis 6:9

  661. 6:9, Noah was a just man and perfect in

  662. his generations. Notice your Bible. And

  663. Noah walked with God. Now, there's only

  664. two men in the entirety of the

  665. antidolivian period that were described

  666. this way. And it was Noah and his great

  667. greatgrandfather Enoch. Amen. And they

  668. were described this way. We know Enoch

  669. was raptured out, but Noah here is

  670. fixing to live through this period of

  671. judgment. BUT I FIND NOAH'S FAITH IS

  672. EXPRESSED. THE Bible says that he was a

  673. just man. He was righteous before God.

  674. And of course, we know that only becomes

  675. upon the terms of faith. For without

  676. faith, it's impossible to please him.

  677. Let me remind you of this today, this

  678. morning. If you've never trusted Christ,

  679. there's no amount of good works you can

  680. do to merit salvation. There's nothing

  681. you can do to can do to attain turn

  682. eternal life. Paul said this to the

  683. church at Ephesus. For by grace are you

  684. saved through faith, AND THAT NOT OF

  685. YOURSELVES. It is THE GIFT OF GOD. WHAT

  686. HE SAY? NOT OF WORKS, lest any man

  687. should boast. And Noah's faith, it

  688. caused an operation in his life of a

  689. righteousness. Because faith WITHOUT

  690. WORKS IS DEAD. SOMEBODY help me preach

  691. this morning. Noah believed God. Noah

  692. was faithful, he was righteous. The

  693. Bible said he wasn't only righteous, but

  694. he was perfect in his generations. And

  695. that simply means this, that Noah was

  696. consistent all throughout his life.

  697. >> You're right. Noah was 500 years old

  698. according to Genesis 5 when his sons

  699. were born. 600 years old when the flood

  700. of waters came upon the earth. And so

  701. all of that time period Noah had been

  702. faithful and God had this to say about

  703. him. Inspired by the pen of the Holy

  704. Ghost. He was perfect. He was spotless

  705. and blameless before God in the

  706. revolvings of time. And I noticed this.

  707. Not only he was righteous and perfect in

  708. the revolving of time, but he also

  709. WALKED WITH GOD. HE HAD A RELATIONSHIP

  710. with the Lord Jesus Christ. He had

  711. fellowship with God Almighty. And let me

  712. remind you this this morning. The truth

  713. about your life and mine is all that

  714. really matters is that relationship with

  715. Jesus. You see, if that's not right,

  716. nothing else in your life will be right.

  717. Amen. Noah walked with God. I notice his

  718. favor, his faith. I notice his family in

  719. verse number 10. Noah begat three sons,

  720. Shim, Ham, and Japheth. Shim of course

  721. being the one through which the promised

  722. seed of Israel would come through. Ham

  723. being the seed of the Canaanite people

  724. and Japheth it would dwell in the tents

  725. of his brother Shim's children. They

  726. would be servants unto them. And so

  727. these three boys would be the three sons

  728. through which the whole human race would

  729. come from after THE ARK. BUT I NOTICE

  730. this in the text and this is where I

  731. want to get to. All right. I notice not

  732. only his favor, his faith and his

  733. family, but I notice in the text the

  734. framing. You say, "What do you mean?"

  735. Well, notice what the Bible says in

  736. verse 13. The Bible said, "God said unto

  737. Noah, the end of all flesh has come

  738. before me, for the earth is filled with

  739. violence through them, and behold, I

  740. will destroy them with the earth."

  741. Notice what your Bible said in verse 14.

  742. Make thee an ark of gopher wood. room

  743. shalt thou make in the ark and shalt

  744. pitch it within and without with pitch.

  745. And for the next several verses, God is

  746. going to extru instruct this man Noah on

  747. how to construct this ark. Amen. And you

  748. say, "Preacher, where are you headed

  749. with this this morning?" Well, I want to

  750. tell you this this morning. When I look

  751. at this text, I see this man Noah, of

  752. course, he is an image here of a man

  753. that's going to go through the

  754. tribulation period in one sense, but

  755. also I see that Noah is a type of

  756. Christ.

  757. >> You say, "How is that?" Well, the Bible

  758. says God told him to make an ark. In

  759. essence, in our terms, that means Noah,

  760. you got to build a boat,

  761. >> right?

  762. >> And the Bible, we often compare it this

  763. way. We call the church what? the old

  764. ship

  765. >> of Zion.

  766. I want to preach on that thought for a

  767. little minute this morning. Noah and the

  768. ark as a type of Christ. You say, "How

  769. is that?" Well, I notice his framing in

  770. this text. God had designed this,

  771. >> right?

  772. >> So much preaching this, I ain't going to

  773. be able to get it all out. But God had

  774. instructed him to frame this arc. And

  775. let me say this, this was a spiritual

  776. work.

  777. >> Right?

  778. >> You say, "How is that, preacher?" It was

  779. physical labor that Noah was doing. You

  780. understand that if Noah had not built

  781. the ark, the human race would have died

  782. completely.

  783. >> You're right.

  784. >> There would have been no more human

  785. race. And so God entrusted Noah with the

  786. salvation of the human race. You're

  787. >> right.

  788. >> I really just dropping the hammer right

  789. on the first point. Amen. I'm saying God

  790. had entrusted this man Noah with the

  791. salvation of the first part in this text

  792. of the human race. And in this frame and

  793. he follows directly the instructions of

  794. God Almighty by the scriptures pinned

  795. upon the pages of the word of God. You

  796. can go up there north and see the the

  797. the replica that they built of the ark.

  798. But I really don't believe that there's

  799. anybody that could do justice to what

  800. this ark really was. And let me say this

  801. to you today. There's been a lot of

  802. people tried to build the church. Amen.

  803. Outside of that Bible right there. But

  804. you can have a building and you can have

  805. people. But if you don't have the

  806. presence and power of the Holy GHOST OF

  807. GOD, YOU'VE GOT NOTHING MORE THAN A

  808. SOCIAL CLUB and a secular fellowship.

  809. Amen. Hey, they can build all the arks

  810. that they want to build. But they won't

  811. never be an ark like Noah's. Amen. Noah

  812. built the ark. The Bible says Hebrews

  813. said while it was preparing, he built IT

  814. TO THE SAVING OF HIS HOUSE. AMEN.

  815. >> And Jesus said, he said, "Upon this

  816. rock, I'll build my church,

  817. >> and the gates of hell shall not prevail

  818. against it." Amen. Notice the miracles

  819. in the text. We're going to move quickly

  820. this morning. I see in this text, and it

  821. always amazes me, there's so many

  822. miracles that take place. Now, really,

  823. in a sense, these are not miracles. But

  824. to us, when we consider this this

  825. morning, you know, we could talk about

  826. the dimensions of the ark. I mean, it's

  827. longer than a football field, a

  828. humongous boat this was. And I want to

  829. remind you of the truth this morning

  830. that it never rained from the sky.

  831. >> That's right.

  832. >> Rain had never fallen out of the sky.

  833. The Bible says that the earth was

  834. watered with the dew that came up from

  835. the ground. And the ground was kept by

  836. that dew which arose from the earth. And

  837. you understand Noah's building an ark.

  838. And they've never seen it rain.

  839. >> God is telling this generation, "Hey,

  840. I'm going to flood the earth." And Noah

  841. is preaching the whole time he's

  842. building the ark. Somewhere between 25

  843. and 75 years, Noah is building this ark.

  844. And the whole time, the Bible calls him

  845. a preacher of righteousness. He's a

  846. preacher the whole time. Judgments are

  847. coming. Judgments are coming. While he's

  848. a hammering on that ark, he's a

  849. hammering on the souls of men. THE

  850. JUDGMENTS ARE COMING. AND I THINK ABOUT

  851. this text. I consider the miracles here.

  852. Number one, I think about the miracle of

  853. the floating of the ark.

  854. >> You say, "Preacher, what is that?" Well,

  855. nobody ever built a boat like this.

  856. >> And you think about this ark, what it's

  857. sitting upon. You understand there was

  858. enough water and even science tells us

  859. today that there's still enough water in

  860. Earth's atmosphere and on the land and

  861. under the land that that it could

  862. possibly flood the entire earth again.

  863. But that'll never happen. Amen. Because

  864. God said it's not going to happen. But

  865. let me say this to you today. There this

  866. boat stayed a flow through seas that

  867. arose 15 ft over the top of the highest

  868. mountain. You understand that must have

  869. been tempestuous rain for 40 days and 40

  870. nights. This arc stayed of flow. But let

  871. me say to you this morning, the church

  872. has weathered a whole lot more than the

  873. ark did. Amen. It weathered the dark

  874. ages and the middle ages, the times when

  875. persecution was high and heavy. And let

  876. me say this, we're still meeting here

  877. 2,000 years later after the cross. THE

  878. CHURCH HAS WEATHERED THE STORMS. AMEN.

  879. AMEN.

  880. >> The word of God, men of God, children of

  881. God have weathered the storms, the

  882. miracle of the floating of the ark, the

  883. miracle of the finding of the animals.

  884. You think about this. God told Noah

  885. there in chapter six, he says, "You get

  886. two of every kind." Two of every kind,

  887. Noah. And I don't know about you, but

  888. that's a lot of animals.

  889. >> Amen. You can look at the replica and

  890. what what they believe the size of that

  891. ark was and you say, "Preacher, well,

  892. that may not be all that many animals."

  893. Well, let me just say this to you. I

  894. believe there was more animals before

  895. the flood than there is now. That's

  896. >> right.

  897. >> Because there's many things that's went

  898. extinct. All right? We ain't got time to

  899. preach all that. I'm headed somewhere.

  900. Stay with me. But he finds all these

  901. animals. And I'll say more about that in

  902. a minute. Let me say this. You

  903. understand that the church has found a

  904. convert in every generation,

  905. >> right?

  906. >> Every preacher in every generation. How

  907. is that, preacher? Well, I'm I'm a

  908. convert,

  909. >> right?

  910. >> And you know what? I can trace my

  911. conversion all the way back to the days

  912. of the early church.

  913. >> In every generation, there's been

  914. somebody who's gotten saved. God only

  915. knows what he'll do with your life

  916. >> because you got saved this morning.

  917. >> What I'm saying is the miracle of the

  918. finding of the animals. There's so much

  919. I could preach on this, but I got to get

  920. to the message. There's the floating of

  921. the ark, the finding of the animals.

  922. There's the food for them annually.

  923. You think about this. The Bible teaches

  924. that they were on the ark at least a

  925. year. Actually, 14 months from what I

  926. believe, they were on the ark for a year

  927. and 14 months. And you know what? They

  928. had enough food to supply the need the

  929. entire time.

  930. >> You're right.

  931. >> Amen.

  932. >> Come on, pre.

  933. >> We ain't run out of bread. You're right.

  934. Right.

  935. >> It ain't changed. This is real simple,

  936. but it's real good. Amen. It ain't cause

  937. I'm preaching either. I'm just telling

  938. you the truth. We still got the Bible.

  939. >> And there's still plenty more where that

  940. came from. Amen.

  941. >> Notice this tonight. This morning, I see

  942. the message. I see the miracles all this

  943. time on the ark. So many more miracles I

  944. could speak of, but I want to give you

  945. the message this morning. Notice chapter

  946. 7, verse number 13.

  947. The Bible says verse 12, "The rain was

  948. upon the earth 40 days and 40 nights."

  949. Verse 13, "In the selfsame day entered

  950. Noah and Shem and Ham and Japheth, the

  951. sons of Noah, Noah's wives, Noah's wife,

  952. and the three wives of his sons with

  953. them into the ark. they and every beast

  954. after his kind, and all the cattle after

  955. their kind, and every creeping thing

  956. that creepeth upon the earth after his

  957. kind, and every foul after his kind,

  958. every bird of every sort. And they went

  959. in unto an oa into the ark, two and two

  960. of all flesh, wherein is the breath of

  961. life. And they that went in went in male

  962. and female, of all flesh, as God had

  963. commanded him, and the Lord shut him in.

  964. You see, in this text, what we discover

  965. is Noah has built the ark. All right?

  966. Not only we've discovered that Noah has

  967. built the ark, but he's also born in the

  968. ark. You're

  969. >> right.

  970. >> Aren't you thankful? When Jesus built

  971. the church, he didn't leave it.

  972. >> You're right.

  973. >> He said, "I'll send you another

  974. comforter

  975. >> that he may abide with you forever, even

  976. the spirit of truth. When he has come,

  977. he'll guide you into all truth.

  978. >> He'll teach you of all things whatsoever

  979. I've spoken unto you."

  980. >> He didn't only build the boat, but he

  981. boarded the boat.

  982. >> And the Bible says here in the text, and

  983. I I'm going to give you a little nugget

  984. here, and I'll give you the three

  985. points, and we'll be done. You see the

  986. Bible, we often think, how did Moah find

  987. all those animals? Well, I submit to

  988. you, he didn't find them. You're

  989. >> right.

  990. >> Notice the text. The Bible says in verse

  991. number, notice verse number seven, Noah

  992. went in, his sons and his wife and his

  993. sons wives with him into the ark because

  994. of the waters of the flood. So Noah and

  995. his family are in the ark. Notice what

  996. the Bible says in verse number eight, of

  997. clean beasts, and of beasts that are not

  998. clean, of fowls, and of everything that

  999. creepeth upon the earth. Notice verse

1000. nine. There went in two and two, what's

1001. that next word? Unto. There went in two

1002. and two unto Noah into the ark, the male

1003. and the female, as God had commanded

1004. Noah. Now, we've all seen the pictures.

1005. All right, we've seen the picture

1006. depictions of this. There's a big old

1007. boat. Noah standing the door of it, and

1008. the animals are marching, one beside the

1009. other one, into the ark. You know what?

  1010. I really don't believe that's that's too

1011. far from the truth. I believe God sent

  1012. them in there.

1013. >> Amen. You see that man over there in

1014. that boat, you go to where he is.

  1015. >> Right.

1016. >> Oh my. Is anybody on board with me this

  1017. morning?

1018. >> Hey friend, we didn't get into this

  1019. thing ourselves.

  1020. >> You're right.

1021. >> Jesus come to where we was at.

1022. >> And said, "You see that boat up there?"

1023. >> HEY, JESUS IS UP THERE. THE HOLY GHOST

1024. SAID, "HEY, COME." LOOK WHAT YOUR BIBLE

1025. SAID in Genesis 7 and verse number one.

1026. The Lord said unto Noah, "Come thou."

1027. Amen. That's the MESSAGE OF THE HOLY

1028. GHOST TO THIS GENERATION COME. AMEN. AND

1029. THE BIBLE SAYS NOAH STOOD IN THE DOOR OF

1030. THAT ARK AND TWO BY TWO EVERY animal of

1031. every kind CAME UNTO HIM IN THAT ARK.

1032. LET ME SAY THIS. EVERY SINNER THAT GOD

1033. KNEW IN THE FORNOWLEDGE BEFORE THE

1034. BEGINNING OF THIS WORLD. HE KNEW THAT

1035. THEY WOULD BE SAVED. HE'S WATCHED EVERY

1036. ONE OF THEM GO INTO THE ARK. AND THANK

1037. GOD THERE AIN'T A ONE OF THEM GOT OUT.

1038. AMEN. AND NOTICE THIS. All right. This

1039. ain't the best part. Amen. Notice the

1040. text. Verse number 13, the Bible says

1041. that after the rain begins to descend,

1042. that very same day entered Noah, Shem,

1043. Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah,

1044. Noah's wife, and his three wives of his

1045. sons with them into the ark. Now, in the

1046. message, I want you to note first of

1047. all, the message of Noah and the ark is

  1048. seen in the entrance.

1049. >> You say, "What do you mean, preacher?"

1050. Well, this ark is a type of salvation

1051. that rides upon the flood of God's

1052. judgment. And the Bible says in verse

1053. 14, "They and every beast after his

1054. kind, and all the cattle after their

1055. kind, and every creeping thing that

1056. creepeth upon the earth after his kind,

1057. and every foul after his kind, every

1058. bird of every sword, and they went in,

1059. there's the word again, unto Noah into

1060. the ark." You say, "Preacher, what do

1061. you mean?" I'm saying THIS MORNING, THEY

1062. DIDN'T all go in the same way.

  1063. >> You're right.

1064. >> You know what? Them birds, they flew in.

1065. >> Amen. them mammals. They walked in.

1066. >> You know what? There was a snake on the

  1067. boat.

  1068. >> Right.

1069. >> So, you know what it did?

  1070. >> Slithered in.

  1071. >> You say, "What's the truth you're trying

1072. to tell me?" It don't matter how you get

  1073. in.

  1074. >> You're right.

1075. >> It just matters that you get in.

  1076. >> You're right.

  1077. >> Amen. Hey, it don't matter if it's 15

1078. minutes before preaching time on Sunday

1079. morning. It don't matter if it's down at

1080. McDonald's ON THE CORNER STREET IN

  1081. WANCO. IT DON'T MATTER IF IT'S BY A

1082. BEDSIDE SOMEWHERE. IT DON'T MATTER IF

1083. YOU SHED TEARS or if you weep and cry

1084. for months AFTER YOU GET SAVED. IT'S NOT

1085. ABOUT HOW YOU GET IN, BUT IT'S JUST

1086. ABOUT THE FACT THAT YOU GOT IN. AREN'T

1087. YOU THANKFUL FOR THE DAY THAT JESUS

1088. SHOWED HIMSELF TO YOU? AND HE WASN'T

1089. CONCERNED ABOUT WHO YOU ARE IN THE SENSE

1090. OF HOW YOU'RE GOING TO GET IN. BUT HE

1091. SAID, "IF YOU'LL JUST COME, COME UNTO ME

1092. ALL YE THAT LABOR AND ARE HEAVY LADEN."

1093. HE SAID, "I'LL GIVE YOU REST." HE SAID,

1094. "TAKE MY YOKE UPON YOU. THAT'S THE

1095. SALVATION." HE SAID, "IT'S EASY AND MY

  1096. BURDEN IS LIGHT." AMEN.

1097. >> Let me say this to you this morning. You

  1098. say, "Preacher, I don't believe that."

1099. Everybody's got to be saved the same

1100. way. Well, in a sense, it comes from

  1101. that truth right there.

  1102. >> You're right.

1103. >> Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by

  1104. what?

  1105. >> So, that's true this morning. But let's

1106. let's just think about scripture for a

  1107. minute.

  1108. >> Think about Zakius

1109. >> and think about the Apostle Paul.

1110. Zakius was up in a tree cuz he was

1111. curious about the Lord. Jesus comes by

1112. and you know what he does? He looks up

1113. in that tree and says, "Zakius, come

  1114. down."

  1115. >> Right?

1116. >> I'm going to your house today.

1117. >> So, you know what Zakius moment of

  1118. salvation was?

1119. >> Climbing down out of the tree.

1120. >> Amen. Somebody asked Zakius if he were

1121. to be here with us this morning. We

1122. asked him, "How'd you get saved?" Well,

1123. he said, "Come." And I climbed down.

1124. Amen. THAT'S HOW HE GOT SAVED. BUT YOU

1125. KNOW WHAT? THE APOSTLE PAUL, if he were

1126. here this morning, he would take two

1127. hours to share his testimony, who he was

1128. with, where he was going, what he was

1129. doing, he would tell us how the light

1130. was so bright that it blinded him for

1131. three days. And he couldn't sing,

1132. COULDN'T WE, DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HE WAS

1133. GOING TO DO, BUT HE HEARD A VOICE FROM

1134. HEAVEN SAYING, "SAUL, SAUL, why

1135. persecutest thou me?" And you know what

1136. Jesus did that day on the Damascus ROAD?

1137. THE VERY SAME THING HE DID FOR ZAKIUS,

1138. HE SAVED HIM BY HIS GRACE. YOU SAY,

  1139. "PREACHER, I DON'T BELIEVE ZAKIUS GOT

1140. SAVED." LET ME JUST GIVE YOU THE TRUTH

1141. THIS MORNING. JESUS SAID WHEN HE WALKED

1142. UP INTO HIS HOUSE, HE SAID, "THIS DAY IS

1143. FAITH. Come to this house."

  1144. >> Amen.

  1145. >> That's good.

1146. >> It's not about how you get in.

  1147. >> Amen.

1148. >> The entrance is not what's necessary.

  1149. >> Amen.

1150. >> It's not about whether you fly in.

1151. Oh man, I wish y'all hook up with that

1152. this morning. It's not about if you fly

1153. in, man. You might come running,

1154. weeping, but you know what? That five

1155. little six-year-old kid, they probably

1156. not going to do that,

  1157. >> right?

1158. >> They might not even shed a tear,

  1159. >> right?

1160. >> But you know what you'll see in them?

1161. The same thing you'll see in that old

1162. drunk that gets saved. You'll see that

  1163. burden lift,

  1164. >> right?

  1165. >> Amen.

  1166. >> Off of them.

  1167. >> Amen.

1168. >> I think not only about the interest, but

1169. I think about the entirety.

1170. Notice the text. Verse 15. And they,

  1171. that's the animals,

1172. all of that animal life. The Bible says,

1173. "And they went in unto Noah into the

1174. ark, two and two of all flesh." Notice

1175. that, "Of all flesh, wherein is the

1176. breath of life." You know what that

1177. tells me this morning? There wasn't one

  1178. missed.

  1179. >> You're right.

1180. >> Every animal that was supposed to be in

  1181. the ark

1182. >> was in the ark.

1183. >> You say, "Preacher, how does that

1184. relate?" Well, let me say this. The

  1185. Bible says, "Whosoever will."

  1186. >> That's right.

1187. >> But you realize not everybody's going to

  1188. be saved.

  1189. >> That's right.

  1190. >> But God knows

1191. >> who will trust him.

  1192. >> That's right.

1193. >> And who will reject him.

  1194. >> Amen.

1195. >> And one of these days when that boat

1196. gets boarded for the last time,

1197. >> you know what? The entirety,

1198. >> every soul that would be saved will be

  1199. saved. Right?

1200. >> Jesus said this, "All that the father

1201. has given to me," he said, "All the

1202. father given to me will come to me, he

1203. that cometh to me, I will in no wise

  1204. cast out."

  1205. >> Right?

1206. >> He said, "And them that the father has

1207. given me said, I've not lost none."

  1208. >> Yep. Amen.

  1209. >> So, I've not lost one.

  1210. >> That's right.

1211. >> He's not going to let us go. That's

  1212. >> right.

1213. >> What did he say? He said, "Them that's

1214. in my father's hand, HE'S GREATER THAN

1215. ALL. AND NO MAN IS ABLE TO PLUCK THEM

1216. OUT OF MY FATHER'S HAND." AREN'T YOU

1217. THANKFUL THIS MORNING TO BE IN THE

1218. CHURCH OF THE LIVING GOD? TO BE SAVED BY

1219. GRACE. HEY FRIEND, I CAN'T GET OUT EVEN

1220. IF I WANTED TO THIS MORNING.

  1221. >> But bless God, I don't want to.

  1222. >> Amen.

1223. >> Thank God the entirety of the church

1224. will be delivered on this ark. But the

1225. Bible says this. We see the entrance. We

1226. see the entirety. But notice the end in

1227. verse 16. And they that went in went in

1228. male and female of all flesh as God had

1229. commanded him. Let me say this before I

1230. give you the last thought. You know

1231. what? Noah did everything that God told

  1232. him to do.

  1233. >> You're right.

1234. >> You know what? Jesus has done everything

1235. God told him to do.

1236. >> Jesus was obedient to the will of the

1237. father. He said, "My need is to do the

1238. will of him that sent me and to finish

  1239. >> right

  1240. >> his work." Yeah.

  1241. >> And on Calvar's cross, what'd he say?

1242. >> It's finished. He did everything God

1243. told him to do. You know what? the day

1244. the Bible says there in the text and the

1245. Lord shut him in. You know what? When

1246. that door closed, you know what? Noah

1247. had done everything that he could do.

  1248. >> That's right.

1249. >> And here's the truth to this

  1250. message this morning.

1251. The message of Noah and the ark is there

1252. came a day when the door closed.

  1253. >> You're right. Right.

1254. >> And I want to say this to you, that

  1255. could be today.

  1256. >> You're right.

1257. >> And you know what I've done as the

  1258. messenger?

1259. I've given you one more opportunity.

  1260. >> You're right.

1261. >> And I can tell you this, the Holy Ghost

1262. is giving you another opportunity.

  1263. >> Right.

1264. >> But the Bible says in Genesis 6, you

1265. remember what God said? My spirit shall

1266. not always strive with man. That's

  1267. >> right.

1268. >> You know what? She might have been the

1269. last soul had to get saved.

  1270. >> Right. Come on.

1271. >> Before Jesus comes. You say, "Preacher,

  1272. but I'm lost." Well,

  1273. >> come on.

1274. >> You going to trust him?

  1275. >> Amen.

  1276. Right.

1277. >> You say, "Is there opportunity,

  1278. preacher? Are you breathing?"

  1279. >> That's right.

  1280. >> Yes. Go ahead.

1281. >> Do you want to be saved?

  1282. >> Amen.

1283. >> You can be saved this morning.

1284. >> As we all stand, every head bowed and

1285. every eye closed this morning.

  1286. Christians are praying.

1287. The message of knowing the ark is this.

1288. It doesn't matter how you get in. It

1289. only matters that you are in.

  1290. And
