And uh I'm going to tell you this, if

you're not fighting down here, you

probably ain't going to feast up there.

Amen.

>> And the truth is, if we're here, we

going to be waring. Amen. Paul told

Timothy, he said, "No soldier that warth

and tangleth himself with the affairs of

this life, and he may please him who

have chosen him to be a soldier." I tell

you this, we're way too tangled up in

these days uh in this world. Amen. We

need to get separated and get set apart.

Amen. get serious about serving God.

Amen. And I do appreciate the good hand

of the Lord. And thank God it's time for

me to preach. Hallelujah. I think I've

heard about 15 sermons this week and I'm

about to die. Amen. So y'all just buckle

up. All right. Proverbs chapter 15. Want

Proverbs 15 · chapter mention

you to stand in honor reverence to the

reading of God's word. When you find

your place, Proverbs chapter number 15.

I want to read one verse this morning.

what the Lord has put on my heart. And

then I'll give you the maybe a little

bit of the backstory of this. And uh

God's been working this in my heart all

week long. And I tell you this, there's

nothing like a good camp meeting, a good

youth camp uh to give you some fire and

put some scripture in your mind, in your

heart, stir you up. And uh I want to

read one verse, Proverbs 15, verse

number three. Verse you've all heard. I

quote it probably all the time, but

we're going to preach from it today.

It's what the Lord has put on my heart

for this hour. Proverbs 15 verse number

three, the Bible says, "The eyes of the

Lord are in every place

beholding

the evil

and the good." Verse number three, let's

let's read it again, church. The eyes of

the Lord are in every place, beholding

the evil and the good. Now, Father, I

ask you humbly for just a little while,

God, that you would help us. Lord, I

realize, Father, Lord, that without you,

we're nothing. And so, Lord, I pray,

God, that you would cleanse us of sin

and of self this morning, Lord, that you

would help us. You would strengthen us,

give us wisdom. And Lord, I pray,

Father, today, Father, we would open our

ears and our eyes that we might behold

wondrous things in thy law, and help us

to receive with meekness the engrafted

word. And Lord, I ask you, God, today

for whatever needs are present, Lord, I

know there are many. And God, I don't

know how many and I don't know what all

is needed, but Lord, you do. And so,

God, we commit this service unto you,

this sermon. But Lord, I pray, Father,

the Holy Ghost, Father, more than

anything would have free course and

liberty to work in this service, save

the sinner nearest hell. And we'll be

sure to thank you for what you do

because we ask it in Jesus name. God's

children said, "Amen."

>> Amen. Now, it's a very carnal

illustration this morning, but when I

think about this verse, I think about

the fact, and if you want a title for

the message this morning, I'm preaching

on the sight of the sovereign, the sight

of the sovereign. This morning, your

Bible says that the eyes of the Lord are

in every place. Behold him, the evil and

the good. And I'm reminded of the young

the little boy. Uh the story goes that

this little boy had went outside and uh

he was going to relieve himself and his

mother came out the door and found him

outside. All right, y'all going to have

to lighten up a little bit. All right,

I'm going to tell the story whether you

like it or not, but he went outside and

the and the boy's mother come out on the

front porch and she saw the young man

right out in the middle of the yard.

There's no place to hide, not a thing.

And she hollers at him, says, "Son, what

are you doing? Why aren't you hiding?"

And he says, "Well, I got my eyes

closed."

>> And the truth is, that's the way a lot

of us live.

>> Our sin, our life is right out in the

open.

>> And the fact of the matter is, we've got

our eyes closed thinking that nobody can

see us.

>> But the truth is this morning, we ought

to be very well aware of the fact that

nobody else might see,

>> right?

>> But the truth is, there's one who always

will.

And your Bible says in verse number

three of Proverbs 15 that the eyes of

the Lord are in every place beholding

the evil and the good. Now verses 1

through3 this week was my memory verse

as a counselor. I had to memorize these

three verses this week at youth camp.

And you know it's a good youth camp when

there's memory verses not just for the

kids but for the counselors too. Amen.

And we memorize these verses this week.

And this verse, every time I read, every

time I read this verse, even before camp

this week, just jumps off the page at me

because it it uh I want to say it

describes the essence of God's

omniscience that he is all knowing. And

Proverbs begins then chapter number one

verse number six, I believe it is. It

says, "The fear of the Lord is the

beginning of knowledge." And when we

think about knowledge, the first thing

that comes to mind is that faith cometh

by hearing and hearing by the word of

God. And it is the knowledge of the

scriptures and the knowledge of the

savior that bring us to a knowledge of

salvation. And it is that salvation that

produces in us the fear of the lord.

That is the beginning of the beginning

of wisdom according to what proverbs

Proverbs 1 · chapter mention

chapter 1 says. But I think when we when

we realize the fear of the lord when we

remember what that is not that we should

be afraid of him but we have a

reverential awe for who he is and all

that he does. But really more than

anything, what he says. I'll tell you

this. You say, "Preacher, well, I fear

God." Well, I can determine how much you

fear God by how you treat this book.

>> Amen. I can determine it by how you

treat it physically. Amen. The way that

you throw it around, leave it in the

dash of your car for the son to bake it

all week to pick it up the next Sunday

when you go to church. I can determine

how you re revere or fear the Lord, not

just by you treat it physically, but how

you obey it spiritually. Amen. How many

of its truths are you employing in your

life? How much of the word of God are

you being obedient to? Because we know

that obedience is the primary purpose of

the child of God. We are designed to

obey. You were never designed to rebel

against God. But you have been designed,

you have been created, God made you in

such a way that you would have to obey

something. Amen. And let me say this. If

you're not obeying God, you're obeying

the devil. You're obeying your flesh.

Amen. and you're obeying this world and

you say, "Preacher, well, I'm not in

love with this world." Well, let me tell

you, if you're not in love with Jesus,

amen, there's nothing else to be in love

with. Amen. But the world. And I notice

in this text, the Bible tells us that

the eyes of the Lord are in every place.

And I want to give you three truths out

of this text. And before we get to the

message, I want you to think about this.

This idea is seen all throughout the

scriptures that the eyes of God are

always watching. And we I think about

creation. And we go all the way back to

Genesis 1. And the Bible says that the

Lord saw what he had made and that it

was good. Amen. When he looked at man,

he saw that man was very good. Amen. In

his eyes. And God was watching. We think

about Noah. We preached about him some

months ago here at the church that Noah

found grace where? In the eyes of the

Lord. Amen. And God told him a chapter

over. He said, "Thee have I seen

righteous before me in this generation."

And so God is watching. God was watching

Abraham. And God was watching Isaac. And

God was watching Jacob. And all the time

that Joseph was suffering, when he was

in prison, when he was in Piper's house,

and when he was in the palace until the

day that his brethren came to meet him

there in Egypt in that famine, God was

watching. When he was thrown in the pit

at the beginning, all the way till his

death, God was watching his life. You

understand? God has never taken his eyes

off of the children of men. God is

always watching. Amen.

chapter 1 the first thing that John saw.

You remember what he said in Revelation

1 and I believe it's about verse 14. He

said he had eyes as it were a flame of

fire.

>> Yeah,

>> that was the first thing he saw. It's

preeminent in the nature of God that

he's watching. His eyes. Let me say this

sinner. God sees you.

>> You're not hiding.

>> Amen.

>> You know what you're doing? You just

closing your eyes hoping nobody sees

you.

>> Right?

>> But God sees you. Yeah.

>> And beyond what you like to think, this

preacher sees you.

>> These other people in this church see

you as well.

>> I want tell you this. Don't think you're

hiding. Cuz if none of us see you, God

does.

>> Let me say this, child of God. God sees

you, too.

>> Amen.

>> Let me say this. He don't just look at

you from the outside, but he looks at

you from the inside.

>> Right.

>> Amen. Bible says when you got saved, the

Holy Ghost

>> put it put within

That is God's representative on the

inside.

>> He is watching. And I notice in this

text, three things I want to give you

here in the text. And I, you know, I

thought about, you know, God when we

think about his sight, the sight of the

sovereign. I think about the fact that

he views all places. There's no location

that you can find yourself in where God

is not able to see you. He views all

periods. He doesn't only view all

places. But he views all places in all

periods, all time frames. There's never

been a day in history, nor will there

ever be a day in future where there be a

place or where there be a period that

God cannot see. He views all

pilgrimages. And I use that for sake of

alliteration, but this is what I want to

emphasize that as is God views every

man's life. You see, right now, you are

living on this day, June the 28, 2026.

But do you understand that God in this

moment views this day, but every day in

your past all the way to the time you

was conceived in your mother's womb, but

at this moment he doesn't only view all

the all the way back to your conception,

but he views all the way to the end of

your days where you will die and take

your last breath. I'm saying he views

every life. He knows what you're going

to do tomorrow and the day after that

and the day after that and the day after

that. But more than that, all the things

that you've forgotten about, all the

places you've been, all the people

you've seen, all the things that you've

done, all the things that you've

forgotten about, God's aware of every

one of them.

>> He views all places, all periods, all

pilgrimages. And I put this in there as

well. He views all people.

>> You know what? They're they're really

seriously talking about putting men on

Mars.

They're talking about it. But I tell you

this, they can find the furthest planet

and the furthest galaxy

>> and the furthest of the furthest of the

furthest away. And if they get a man to

that place, you know what? They're going

to find God was there before he got

there.

>> And after he dies and rots on that

planet, amen, God's still going to be

there. Amen. I don't know about you, but

this is a helping me this morning. Amen.

I'm saying he views all places. HE VIEWS

ALL PERIODS AND HE views all people this

morning.

>> God sees you this morning. You say,

"Preacher, that's awful intimidating."

Well, I'm thankful that he doesn't just

view us. Amen.

>> But he loves us.

>> Amen.

>> I want to give you these three thoughts

this morning. I'll be done. I see in

this verse number one, I see the vision

of the sovereign here that's mentioned.

You say, "What do you mean?" Well, verse

three, the Bible says the eyes of the

Lord, capital L, capital O, capital R,

capital D, that is Jehovah God. You know

what that means? That means he is the

self-sufficient one.

>> You know what? Your eyes were created

eyes.

>> You hearing me preach?

>> Your eyes are are eyes that were

created. They were conceived in the womb

of your mother. Amen. and through that

birth process and you came to be out in

this world and there was a day when mama

for the first time looked into the eyes

of that little baby. But do you

understand that God's eyes are not

created eyes?

>> That's right.

>> But they are eternal eyes. Amen. They're

eyes that never will cease to exist, nor

did they ever come into being, but

they've always been.

>> Capital L, capital O, capital R, capital

D. It is the sovereign's vision. The

eyes of the Lord. Hey, he don't have

eyeglasses.

>> Amen.

>> Amen. His vision's not waning. Amen.

Because he don't get older.

>> Amen. His vision's just as clear this

morning as it was 3,000, 4,000, even to

the beginning of time, 6,000 some odd

years ago. His vision still just as

clear. Amen. I'm saying it is the sight

of the sovereign and that he is our

creator. The eyes of the Lord are in

every place. This vision is sovereign.

But I'll say this, this is the Savior's

vision. You say, "How do you know that?"

Well, it says the eyes of the Lord. The

Lord, who's the Lord? That's Jesus.

>> You know, the Bible tells us in John

chapter number one that by him he made

all things. That is, creation was made

by the word of God. And who is the word?

Jesus. Amen. John 1, in the beginning

was the word, and the word was with God,

and the word was God. The same was in

the beginning with God. All things were

made by him. Without him was not made.

Was there not made anything that was

made on the earth? And so these are the

eyes not just of the sovereign, that is

the father, but these are the eyes of

the savior. You understand? Just as God

the father has existed in eternity past

and will exist in eternity future. Jesus

has always existed. Amen. He's always

been. Amen. And it's his eyes. It's the

loving eyes of our savior. It is his

eyes looking upon us that bring us

salvation. And he tells us Isaiah 45

verse number 22, the invitation is look

unto me and be you saved all the ends of

the earth. Why did he say that? He said

that because he was looking at all the

ends of the earth. And he says from

wherever you're looking at, oh friend,

I'm about to feel happy this morning.

Amen. From wherever you're looking at,

if you look to him, you know what you're

going to meet up with? Your eyes is

going to lock with the eyes of the

savior. Amen. Because it don't matter

where you go, he's looking at you. Amen.

And whenever it is you finally decide to

look to him, you're going to find not

THAT YOU'RE LOOKING AT HIS HAND. NOT

THAT YOU'RE LOOKING AT HIS FEET, but

you're going to look up and you're going

to LOOK RIGHT INTO HIS EYES. AMEN.

>> Cuz he's looking at you.

>> I see the Savior in this vision, but I

also see the spirit in this vision.

>> The eyes of the Lord are in every place.

You see, it's the spirit of God. already

alluded to this, but he is the personal

representative in the heart of the

believer. But I'll say this, when we

think about the ministry of the spirit

of God, it is his ministry that produces

conviction in the life of the sinner.

And so everywhere there is conviction,

there is the spirit of God.

>> And you know what the Bible tells us?

That the grace of God that bringeth

salvation hath appeared to what?

>> So you know what? The spirit

>> it's everywhere. Right?

>> You see, this is the essence of who God

is.

He's everywhere. God the Father, God the

Son, God the Holy Ghost. He is present

everywhere.

So his vision is what? Unlimited, isn't

it?

>> His vision is unaffected.

>> Amen.

>> Amen. Because if he's everywhere,

there's no place he can go where his

vision can be blocked.

>> Amen.

This will help you if you let it. Amen.

His vision's unlimited. His vision's

unaffected. But I'll tell you this, his

vision is the ultimate vision. You're

>> right.

>> Cuz when you think about his vision,

there's no limitation to it.

>> He can see through beyond and even

what's not there.

>> You see, the thing about it is is God

looks into the physical world, but you

know where he lives? He lives in the

spiritual world.

>> Amen.

>> And he sees time. He sees eternity. He

sees the earth and he sees heaven. But

I'll tell you this, he sees your body

and he sees your soul as well.

>> That's right.

>> Amen. And long after this body's gone,

thank God, my soul's going to be resting

in the sight of one whose vision didn't

just affect the earth, but it affects

heaven. Amen.

>> Verse number three, the eyes of the

Lord, I see his vision in the text. I

want you to notice second of all this

morning, not only his vision, but I see

his vigilance in the text. Say, what do

you mean? Well, notice it again. The

eyes of the Lord are in every place.

It's vigilance. What's vigilance means?

It means a

put it this way. All right. The

definition of it is good, but I like I

like my definition of it better. Amen.

You say, "Preacher, you're warping the

scripture." No, I'm not. I'm giving you

the message. Amen.

>> Just hush and listen. All right.

>> Vigilance. When you think about what

does the Bible say about vigilance? Be

be sober. Be vigilant. He tells Peter

tells the church because your adversary

the devil is as a roaring lion walking

about seeking whom he may devour. You

know why he says be vigilant? He's

saying be watching.

>> That's right.

>> Amen.

>> Nobody's more vigilant than God.

>> Cuz he said the eyes of the Lord are in

every place. You say, "Preacher, that's

not a deep statement." Oh, but it is.

You say, "Why is that deep?" Well, I

would say this. Number one, it denotes

his presence. The eyes of the Lord are

what? in. You ever thought about this?

Why does that verse not say on every

place?

God's not watching from afar.

>> God's not seated up in heaven and

looking down on men,

>> but it says the eyes of the Lord are in

every place. You know what? God doesn't

look down from heaven and see the

outside of your body.

>> But God from the inside of you looks out

and sees everything that's around you.

>> Amen.

His

presence you know you know that's his

presence

>> he's present everywhere it's in it's not

on I see not only his vigilance is

expressed is expressed by his presence

but his vigilance is expressed in his

pre pleenary presence notice that in

verse number three in every every you

know what we talk about we believe the

King James Bible don't we

>> amen you know what we talk about when we

say verbal plenary inspiration you know

what that means that word plenary means

complete complete entirety. When we say

we believe in the verbal pleary

inspiration of the King James Bible, we

believe that every word complete Genesis

Genesis 1:1

1:1 all the re all the way to Revelation

>> is completely inspired by God.

>> And when he says the eyes of the Lord

are in every place, you know what he's

saying? His vision's complete.

>> In every place. Every. There's not a

place you can go where he's not found.

There's not a place where he can be

where he cannot see. It's plenary. His

vision vigilance is plenary. But I'll

say this, it goes not just from his

presence to the pl the being plenary in

his vigilance. But there's a point.

Notice that in verse three, the eyes of

the Lord are in every place. I want you

to think about this. Though God sees

all.

All right? That's the field of his view.

You ever heard hunters? You ever heard

hunters talk about the field of view?

When you look out and you're deer

hunting, you know what you're doing.

Before you put that rifle up there and

look through that scope, you got a field

of vision.

God has a pleinary vigilance of his

view. What does that mean? That means

that God sees the complete field.

>> But you know what? When it comes down to

it, he said the eyes of the Lord are in

every place. So it's not just the field

of his vision, but there is a focus of

his vision.

>> Amen.

>> You know how we look through a scope at

that deer? You know what we do? We got

them crosshairs. We line that thing up

cuz you know what we're going to do?

We're going to drop Bambi, ain't we? You

know what that means? That means from

the field of vision, we had to come from

the field to a singular focus. But you

know what? God sees it all. The field

and focuses on it at the same time.

>> You're right.

>> He don't have to stop seeing the big

picture to get the little minute

details.

>> Well, that's good, ain't it? I'm telling

you, I was reading this this morning. I

I thought the the Holy Ghost is about to

blow me up reading this this morning.

I'm saying, friend, he sees the big

picture of your life, but he knows down

to the smallest minute details. His Hey,

friend, the field of vision. You think

about what God has to look at. the

millions upon billions of souls that

have lived on this earth from the

beginning of time. But yet, oh, his

field of vision is so large, his focus

is so small THAT HE WOULD SEE LITTLE old

me and little old you AND THIS DAY AND

TIME AND care and and even care about

YOU AND I. I'M SAYING, AREN'T YOU

THANKFUL THAT EVEN IN SPITE OF ALL THAT

HE SEES, HE WOULD STILL TAKE TIME TO

LOOK AND FOCUS ON YOU AND I, NOT JUST

TOGETHER, BUT INDIVIDUALLY. AMEN.

He's watching in every place. You know

what that does for me? That encourages

me. But I'll tell you this. If you're a

sinner this morning, that'll scare you

to death.

>> You will stand before him one of these

days individually.

>> You won't stand with your mama. You

won't stand with your daddy. And as much

as I would love to stand there with my

wife because we've tried to give our

life to Jesus to serve him, I'm not

going to be able to stand there with her

and she's not going to be able to stand

there with me. I'm telling you this. We

will stand there for oursel as ourself

by ourself before Jesus because he

judges us individually.

>> If you're lost without God, you'll stand

before him at the great white throne

individually. But let me say this. If

you're saved, you will stand before

Jesus at the judgment seat individually

because the eyes of the Lord are in

every place. You know what? There's

nobody here that knows every detail of

my life.

>> You know why that is? Because I don't

even know every detail of my life.

>> But there's one that does.

>> And he's the one

>> that our judgment's committed to.

>> Right?

>> Notice this. I see not only the vision

and I see not only the vigilance here

that his presence is in his plenary is

seen in the every and then the point is

seen in the place he had the field does

not denote does not change his focus

amen but I want you to notice this

there's the vision there's the vigilance

but then I see his view in the text look

what the Bible said why you preacher why

you say it's a view what's the next word

in the verse beholding

beholding you know what that means means

to Look means to gaze at means to view.

And when he says in the text that the

eyes of the Lord are in every place

beholding the evil and the good, what is

he saying? He's saying, well, his vision

is sufficient to see all. His vigilance

is is sufficient for all periods that he

never misses a detail. But I'll say

this, his view is described. And not

that he just beholds things that are,

but he holds the things that should be.

Say, "What do you mean?" Well, God

doesn't just see history and the future

as it's going to be, but he sees history

and the future as it should have be as

it should be. You say, "What do you mean

by that?" Well, you think about this.

Just to make it simply put, we go back

to the garden, Adam and Eve.

God knows what it would have been like

if Adam and Eve hadn't sinned.

>> You say, "Preacher, do you know?

I know this. If they hadn't messed it

up, probably one of us down the way

would have."

>> But God knows what could have happened.

>> God knows what should have happened.

>> You say, "How is that?" Well, notice the

text.

He sees verse three, beholding the evil

and the good. He sees the wrongdoing,

but he sees the right doing. He sees the

bad decisions, but he sees the good

decisions. He sees those who are right

with him, but he also sees those who die

wrong with him. He sees those who've

messed their family up. And he also sees

those who've loved their family until

the end. I'm saying, God beholds it all.

>> Let me ask you something. I've seen

enough in the last week to make me

depressed enough for the rest of my life

if I dwelled on it. But you know what?

God sees eternity.

>> The good, the bad, and the ugly. And you

know what? It has not changed it.

>> That's right.

>> Amen.

>> You know what happens to us? What we

see? It makes us depressed, don't it?

>> What we see drags us down. But I'll tell

you this, it ain't it. Hey, he saw the

darkest thing there ever was. And you

know what he did? The only place God

ever turned his back away from anybody

is when he looked down and saw his son

>> in sin,

bearing the weight of your sin and my

sin. And what does the Bible say? The

earth went black. God the father turned

his back on his son. And you know what?

Even in all of that, God, his visions

never changed.

>> Amen.

>> You say, "Preacher, what what do you

mean he's beholding the evil of good?"

Well, I think about the fact his

vigilant vision, it views many things in

this life. God sees the heart,

the innermost being of man. Hebrews

Hebrews 4:12

4:12, the Bible said, "For the word of

God is quick and powerful and sharper

than any two-edged sword, piercing even

under the dividing of sunder of soul and

spirit, and is a discerner of the

thoughts and intents of the heart." You

know what that word discern means? It

means to see.

He sees it. The deepest part of man, God

sees it.

>> But yet at the same moment, he views the

heart. He views the whole universe.

He views all of time, but yet he views a

decision made in a split second.

>> He views all of eternity, but yet in a

moment, he knows when a sinner goes from

being a sinner to being a saint through

the redemptive power of Jesus Christ.

I'm saying there is no limit to his

vision. He views the heart. He sees what

your hope is in. What are you trusting

in? He sees whether or not there is

holiness in your life. Whether you've

ever trusted Christ, whether there's

positional holiness in your salvation,

whether there's practical holiness in

your life, in your sanctification, GOD

KNOWS WHERE you're at with him this

morning.

>> He sees it. Let me say, Daddy, he sees

your home.

>> NOBODY ELSE MAY KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON

DOWN AT YOUR HOUSE, BUT GOD DOES. AMEN.

>> GOD KNOWS WHAT'S SAID. GOD KNOWS WHAT'S

DONE. AND YOU CAN SAY WHATEVER YOU WANT.

PAINT IT HOWEVER PRETTY YOU WANT TO. GOD

KNOWS WHAT'S GOING ON DOWN AT YOUR

HOUSE. LET ME SAY THIS, FRIEND. JUST AS

MUCH AS HE KNOWS YOUR HOUSE, HE knows

your heart this morning.

>> He sees what you love.

He sees how you live. He sees what you

lust after. He sees every location that

you find yourself. Let me say this to

those of you that's struggling this

morning. He sees the sin that you're in,

the sorrow that you feel, the shame

that's upon you. He sees your suffering.

GOD KNOWS WHAT YOU'RE GOING THROUGH THIS

MORNING.

>> He sees it.

Notice it in the text. Beholding the

evil. Notice that how that's first.

Holding the evil. You know what man is?

>> We're primarily evil, aren't we?

>> Right.

>> God commendeth his love toward us in

that while we were yet sinners. You know

what? We never lose

being in the flesh that title. Now, you

you can disagree with me this, but but

we believe there's only two type of

people in the world. That's law sinners

and saved sinners.

>> Amen.

Now, I know positionally in Christ, I'm

not a sinner anymore, but practically

speaking, you know what we do? What do

we do? We fail every day, don't we,

brother Todd?

>> So, you know what? When God sees us, you

know what he sees? When he looks at who

we are in the flesh, it's evil.

>> Sees the carnality. Sees the flesh. But

the Bible says he don't stop at just the

evil. He sees the evil and the good.

>> Amen.

>> He sees what's wrong, but he also sees

what's right. You say, "Preacher, well,

what does God desire to see?"

Well, I thought of three things

particularly God desires to see.

These are just topical thoughts.

When God never desires to see evil, I'll

tell you this. All right?

You understand God has orchestrated this

thing to where the perfection of his

holiness is always exalted in spite of

what man does,

>> right?

>> Because you know what? Every sin that we

commit, every time that we walk against

God, not just for those who are saved,

but those who are lost has been paid

for.

>> That's exactly

>> in the blood of Jesus Christ. And so

when someone sins, you know what? God is

glorified not by their sin, but by the

payment for that sin

>> in Christ.

Everything glorifies God.

The will of God glorifies him when it's

done and when it's not. Say, "Preacher,

I don't understand that." I don't

either, but that's what the Bible says.

Notice this. What does God desire? Well,

I'd say it's number one. God desires

number one that wisdom be sought for.

Say, "What do you mean?" Well, the

primary purpose

of our life is to seek out the wisdom

that God alone induced. Listen to what

Solomon says. Proverbs chapter 2.

Proverbs 2 · chapter mention

Proverbs 2:es 1-7.

Solomon said, "My son, if thou will

receive my words, and hide my

commandments with thee, so that thou

incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply

thine heart to understanding. Yeah, if

thou cries after knowledge, and liftest

up thy voice for understanding, if thou

seekest her as silver, and searchest for

her as for hid treas treasures, then

shalt thou understand the fear of the

Lord, and find the knowledge of God. For

the Lord giveth wisdom, out of his mouth

cometh knowledge and understanding. He

layeth up sound wisdom for the

righteous. He is a buckler to them that

walk uprightly.

You know what God desires for you and I

this morning more than anything else is

that we would seek him

>> for the one thing that we cannot obtain?

That's his wisdom.

>> What did James say in James chapter 1?

James 1 · chapter mention

He said, "If any of you lack wisdom, any

of you, let him if any man lack wisdom,

let him ask of God that giveth to all

men liberally." The only thing God's

liberal in is his wisdom that he gives

to us.

He gives it to all men libery and

upgradeth not. He's not going to resist

you when you come desiring for wisdom.

You know why Solomon was blessed by God?

Because when God said, "You ask whatever

you want," Solomon said, "I want

wisdom."

>> That's right.

You know, the reason why people have no

common sense in this day and time is

because we're not seeking wisdom.

>> We're not seeking wisdom. You know what

God wants? He's beholding the good. You

know what the good is? That's seeking

wisdom.

>> Wisdom that is sought for. Number two, I

would say this. Let me say this. I made

a statement there a minute ago, and I

need I need you to clarify this. You

understand when I say God has

orchestrated everything that he gets

glory out of it. If you go out and sin,

God's not going to get glory out of

that. That's right.

>> All right. You need to hear what I'm

saying to you. Okay? This is the way it

works. Your sin is paid for by Jesus.

And what is better said and better

understood is this is that the cross of

Calvary makes it possible for God to get

glory in everything.

>> Because everything's already taken care

of.

>> You get a hold of that, that'll help you

with a sense in your life. the fact that

it's already been paid for.

>> Sinners sometimes can't grasp, preacher,

I've just done too much. Jesus already

paid for.

>> That's right.

>> Amen.

>> Amen. Hey saints, you're not too far out

in sin. Jesus already paid for it.

>> That's right.

>> He is the propitiation. Not for our sins

only, but for the sins of the whole

world. You know what that is? That's not

just the world in itself in its

existence, but that's the world in

future, the world in past, that's the

world present. That's all sin. every sin

was placed on him. And he is the

sacrifice. He satisfies the father.

>> That's how God gets glory out of the

cross. Number two, I hope that makes

sense. Wisdom that's sought for. Number

two, what God desires is not only that

wisdom be sought for, but worship be

sacrificed for. So, what do you mean?

Well, listen to what David said. Psalm

99.

Psalm we don't hear about much. We hear

Psalm 100 all the time. Listen to what

Psalm 99 says. Psalm 99 verse number

five. Exalt ye the Lord our God and

worship at his foottool for he is

holy.

>> Amen.

>> You know what God desires? He desires

his people to worship him.

>> Amen. The Bible said John told that

woman at the well, God is a spirit and

they that worship him must worship him

in spirit and in truth. You know what?

We always put the must on the spirit and

truth part. But you know what? The must

is just as much on the worship part as

it is the spirit and truth part.

>> Amen. I think we miss that fact a lot of

time. We are called rather we are

commanded to worship him. Amen.

>> Oh, LIFT UP YOUR HANDS IN THE SANCTUARY

AND BLESS THE LORD ALL YE PEOPLE OF THE

LORD. AMEN. OH, BLESS THE LORD, OH MY

SOUL, AND ALL THAT IS WITHIN ME. BLESS

HIS HOLY NAME. WE ARE COMMANDED. WE ARE

COMMANDED. WE ARE COMMANDED TO WORSHIP

HIM. AMEN.

>> AMEN.

Psalm 99:9,

Psalms 99:9

"Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at

his holy hill, for the Lord our God is

holy."

>> Amen.

>> He desires that we offer the sacrifice

of praise

unto him. That is the fruit of our lips.

Writer of Hebrews said, "Giving thanks

to his name."

>> Amen. Worship him. Worship him. worship

him. Bless his holy name. That's what

we're commanded to do.

>> We are called to, but we are commanded

to. Amen.

>> Let me say this. We're real behind on

that.

>> Psalm 100, make a joyful noise unto the

Lord, all ye lands.

Serve the Lord with gladness. Come

before his presence with singing. Know

ye that the Lord, he is God. It is he

that hath made us, and not we ourselves.

We are his people and the sheep of his

pasture. Enter into his gates with

thanksgiving and into his courts WITH

PRAISE. BE THANKFUL unto him and bless

his name. For the Lord is good. His

mercy is everlasting and his truth

endureth to ALL GENERATIONS. WE ARE

COMMANDED TO WORSHIP him and that is

what God sees. That's good.

>> Those that seek wisdom and those that

give the sacrifice of worship.

I'm done.

Beholding the evil and the good. You

say, "Preacher, you said three things."

Well, here's the third one. God desires.

If you want God to see good in your

life, there's going to have to be wisdom

that's sought for. There's going to have

to be worship that sacrificed for. Let

me say this. There's going to have to be

works that are a service.

>> Amen.

>> For the Lord.

Say, "What do you mean, preacher?" Well,

if you ain't doing nothing, you ain't

getting nowhere with God.

>> Amen. Amen. You say, "Preacher, do I got

to preach a sermon?" No. "Preacher, do I

got to teach a Sunday school class?" No.

Some of you ought to. Amen. Not all of

you have to, though.

>> Let me ask you this. When's the last

time you told the Lord, "Lord, I'll do

whatever you want me to do

>> and meant it."

>> Some of you may have said it, but you

didn't mean it.

When's the last time you looked at God

and said, "Whatever, WHENEVER, WHEREVER,

HOWEVER, WHATEVER YOU WANT ME TO DO,

LORD, I WILL DO IT."

>> That's the good. See, we like the the

worship. We like that. Oh, I'll lift my

hands, preacher. I'll praise his name.

We don't like the work part. Solomon

said it this way. Ecclesiastes chapter

Ecclesiastes 9 · chapter mention

9, verse number 10. He said, "Whatsoever

thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy

might." You know what that is? That's as

unto the Lord.

>> Colossians chapter 3 and verse number 23

Colossians 3 · chapter mention

says, "Whatsoever you do, do it as do it

as unto the Lord and not unto men."

>> Right?

>> Whether you eat or drink or whatsoever

you do, do it as unto the Lord and not

unto men. We are commanded to work in

service for him. You know why? Because

God's watching,

>> right?

>> Amen. He's watching. You say, "Preacher,

but I've never served God and I've lived

most of my life." Well, let me say this.

God's not quit watching.

>> Say, "Preacher, well, I don't have much

to give." Well, you could give what you

got.

>> Preacher, I don't have much to offer.

Let me tell you this. I didn't have

nothing to offer.

>> Amen.

>> You know what? Until you get to the

place where you realize that you had you

didn't have nothing to offer either, you

ain't going to be fit to serve it. Amen.

>> God doesn't call the qualified. He

qualifies the caught.

>> Amen. Let me say this. When you got

saved, God, the Holy Ghost took up

residence in your heart, and he supplies

you everything that you need to serve

him.

>> He's given us all things that pertain

unto life and godliness. You realize

none of you are lacking anything this

morning.

>> Amen.

>> As far as the father's endowment is

concerned, we've all got the same amount

of Holy Ghost.

>> Amen. Amen.

We've all got the same amount of Bible.

66 books inspired, preserved for you and

I to study, know, and read.

>> Amen.

>> And to live by.

>> We got the same Bible, the same Holy

Ghost. You know what the difference is?

You're not employing it.

>> Amen.

>> Billy Graham had the same amount of

Bible. And I don't really like

everything that he did, but I'll tell

you this, God used him for a long time.

>> He had the same Bible I have. He got the

same Bible. It's in your hand right

there. Till he got later on his years

and decided to go crazy. Amen. I'll tell

you this. DL Moody, CH Spurgeon, all

those great men of God we talk about,

they had the same Bible, the same Holy

Ghost that you got.

>> You know what? God's watching.

>> Amen.

>> I say this. I told Sunday school this

this morning. I'm going to tell the rest

of you. You know better. Right.

Y'all want me to go back over that

again?

You know better.

John looked at that church in 1 John

chapter number two. And you know what?

That church didn't have a Bible. They

didn't have what you got. They didn't

have 66 books. They might have had the

first five. Amen. Sometimes I get in the

first one and get confused.

Really confused about Genesis 6.

Somebody say amen right there. But they

had the first five books and John looked

at him and said, "You have an uncction

from the Holy One, and you know all

things."

>> They didn't even have a Bible.

>> John said, "You know better."

>> Let me say this to you, child of God,

this morning. You know you ought to be

at church every time the doors open.

>> You know you ought not fuss and cuss and

do all the rest of that.

>> You all, you know you ought not be in

fornication. Amen.

>> You know you ought not be involved in

adultery.

>> You know better. You know better. Why is

that?

>> And if you didn't have that.

He's in here.

>> That's right.

>> If you're saved, he's in here.

>> He's watching

>> the side of the sovereign. Every head

bowed, every eye closed.

Sister Melody is going to begin to play

here in just a minute. I want to ask you

something.

How long's it been since you realized

God's watching?

Let me say this. If it's been a day,

it's been too long.

He's watching.

Say, "Preacher,

I'm save. I I'm saved." And

and I believe that preacher, I believe

God's watching. Let me ask you ask Let

me ask you something.

Why? Why are you not living it?

Why? Tell me. Cuz let me say this. It'll

be a lot easier to tell me here than it

will be to tell him there.

Cuz you know what? I can relate to you.

I can say, "I understand. I know how

hard it is sometimes to do what he

says." But let me say this. When you

stand before him, he's perfect.

Let me ask you something.

Are you going to choose to live like

he's watching? Are you going to choose

to continue walking around with your

eyes closed,

thinking that nobody sees you cuz you

can't see nobody else?

You need to realize and be assured that

one of these days you will stand before

him and you will give an account

for what he has sought.

He's going to bring up things that you

can't even remember and you going to

have to give an account for it.

You know, I've thought about that a lot

of times. You know, a lot of things I

don't even remember. I'm going to look

back at that and I'm not going to know

why. You know, I'm going to have to tell

him, "Lord, I don't know, but I know

this. I'm a sinner."

But here's what I'm glad about. You see,

since I'm saved, I'll stand before the

judgment seat, and it'll just be me and

Jesus there. And you know what he'll do?

He'll look at the works in my life, and

this is what he'll say, "You failed

here, but I covered that.

You messed up here, but the blood took

care of that."

And at the end of that judgment seat,

he's going to burn up all of those evil

works that he saw. And I'm going to come

through that fire with that gold,

silver, and precious stones. All those

good things, that wisdom that sought

for, that worship that sacrificed for,

and those works that are service for our

Lord. Let me ask you, how much are you

going to have?

How much you gonna have to stand before

him with?

Say, "Preacher, I'm not saved.

Preacher, what you've told me this

morning scares me to death." Well, I'll

be honest with you. It should. It should

scare you to death. Cuz I'll tell you

this, nobody

will want to stand before a holy,

perfect, and just God and have to try to

answer for all the times that they

rejected his love and his offer of

salvation. You know what you can do

today? You can stop lying and start

living.

You can stop hiding

and start having real joy.

You can stop faking

and have the real thing.

He's watching. Say, "Preacher, would you

pray for me? I'm not saved."

Preacher, would you pray for me? I'm not

saved. Ain't nobody looking around but

me and God. You be honest this morning.

Preacher, I'm not saved. You just slip

your hand up and I'll pray for you this

morning.

Preacher, I'm not saved. Somebody's

written all over your face.

You've sat there and gripped that pew

long enough. Why don't you come out and

get out and come

say, "Preacher, nobody knows I'm lost."

LET ME TELL YOU, GOD DOES.

And you know what? He's showing you this

morning that you are.

And so, you know what? Now that you know

that you're lost, cuz God showed you,

won't you come to him? Won't you come to

him? Just slip out your seat and come.

He'll save you. He'll forgive you. And

you know what? But then you won't have

to worry so much about God watching you

no more. Cuz you know what? He's not

going to be looking at you through eyes

of judgment. But he's going to be

looking at you through eyes of love.

He can forgive any sin that's ever been

committed.

You say, "Preacher, I don't believe

that." Well, I'll tell you this. If

Adolf Hitler somewhere before his death

asked God to save him and forgive him,

you know what? He's in heaven today if

he asked for that.

There is no amount of sin. There is no

size of sin that God cannot forgive.

Not a one. And there's some people in

here that's testimony, a lit literal

walking, breathing testimony of that

fact that God can forgive anything and

anybody.

Let me say this. He does. He just It's

not that he just can. He He wants to. He

wants to this morning. Father, thank you

so much for this truth this morning.

God, thank you that

your eyes are in every place.

And God, I know this morning that I'll

give an account for this message that

I've preached today. And Lord, I pray,

Father, that you would help every heart

this morning

to hear the truth. But not just to hear

it, but to obey it.

Because Lord, obedience is the very best

way to show that we believe. You told

those disciples, he said, "The world

shall know that you're my disciples

because you have love one to another."

And Lord, I pray, Father, this morning,

Lord, if there's any bitterness, Lord,

between anybody this morning, they'd get

it settled cuz you're watching. Lord, if

there's any broken hearts this morning,

I pray they'd come, Lord, cuz that you

see them. you see where they're at and

you want to mend it. Lord, I pray they'd

come. God, if there's any burdens here

today,

Lord, that people's been carrying around

too long, I pray, God, that they would

come realizing that you've seen that

and you want to help them.

And Lord, I pray most of all if there's

anybody here that's lost,

but I pray they wouldn't leave this

place that way today.

I pray they wouldn't walk away

not knowing you

not trusting you.

Lord, don't let a sinner walk out of

this place lost today

as every heads bowed and every his eyes

closed still for just a few moments.

God's giving you another chance, sinner.

He's giving you another chance. You need

to be saved today. Won't you get up and

come? Won't you come?

These are praying this morning. Others

need to come. Say, "Preacher, I got a

situation I can't handle." God sees it.

God sees it. He can fix it.

He can help you with it.

Won't you come get some help this

morning?

Look, I don't I don't I don't want these

altars to fill up to stroke my ego. I

want these altars to fill up so you can

get some help. Wouldn't that be a shame

you to walk out of here and spurn the

only place you can get help? You say,

"Preacher, well, I can pray when I get

out of here." Well, let me tell you

this. There's something special about

coming to an altar and humbling yourself

and getting that pride out of the way,

realizing you need some help. I'll tell

you this. You'll find some help if

you'll come get it.

You've sit there too long. You sit there

too long. You sit there too many

services, won't you get some help?

There's nobody looking. Nobody's going

to judge you. Come get you some help.

I'll ask you this. We're not no hurry.

Can you honestly say you've done what

God told you to do?

Can you in your heart of hearts tell God

right now, "Lord, I've done what you

asked me to.

You know you haven't.

You know you have. Why? Why you doing

that?

The Holy Ghost is real this morning.

He's fresh in here. I felt him all week

this week just like this. And he stopped

by to give you another chance.

Father, in Jesus name.

Lord, I thank you so much for gracing

us, for your presence today.

Thank you for being real.

Lord, thank you for just being who you

are. Cuz Lord, we can't change you,

Lord. We can't adjust you. We can't

we can't conjure you up, Lord. We we

can't do anything to change who you are.

And Lord, I rejoice in that. Thank you

for not being a God that fits my mold

or anybody's mold.

Thank you for being the God of that

blessed Bible and you told us right. You

said you honored that book above your

name.

Lord, would you help us to do that?

Lord, there's people here leaving today

that's not obedient to you. God, I pray

that you wouldn't let them get out of

the parking lot today in disobedience.

Lord, may they have to run back to this

altar and get right with you.

Lord, I love you and I ask it in Jesus

name. Amen.
