  4. today. If you enjoy today's message, be

  5. sure to subscribe, follow, and share

  6. with your friends. Now, let's join

  7. Pastor Charlie Branch with a word from

  8. God.

  9. >> Amen. That's only thing matters tonight.

  10. And uh is your name in the lamb's book

  11. of life?

  12. >> And does he know your name? Amen.

  13. >> And uh you can know his lot of people

  14. that went to hell. Knowing his name,

  15. knowing his name very well.

  16. But you know what? One of these days, if

  17. they hadn't stood before him already,

  18. one of these days, they'll stand before

  19. him and he'll say, "Depart from me, ye

  20. that work iniquity, for I never knew

  21. you." Amen. And I'm thankful tonight

  22. that I know him,

  23. >> but I'm a lot more thankful that he

  24. knows me. Amen. I appreciate the Lord.

  25. Take your Bible, take God's word, turn

  26. with me to the book of Malachi again

  27. this evening. Malachi chapter 4 and uh

    Malachi 4 chapter mention

  28. been looking forward to the rest of the

  29. message. And uh

  30. this morning, I believe that's what the

  31. Lord would have us to do. And uh

  32. I told the men in prayer room, I said,

  33. 'I know the scripture says his word will

  34. not return unto him void. And uh you

  35. know, I think about the many services

  36. that I've preached the gospel message

  37. and just warned the sinner about hell.

  38. And they've walked away from it. And no

  39. doubt probably some in my lifetime I've

  40. preached the gospel to have already died

  41. and probably went there. And uh you

  42. know, I've often thought to myself,

  43. wonder how it didn't return void in

  44. those situations. And I told those men

  45. in prayer room tonight, I said, "The

  46. only difference is is I did what he

  47. asked me to do." And when he says it'll

  48. not return void, it's going to it's

  49. going to get him glory one way or

  50. another.

  51. >> Amen.

  52. >> Whether you reject it or you receive it

  53. is your choice, but he's going to get

  54. glory out of it whether you reject it or

  55. you receive it. Amen. And I'm thankful

  56. we have a God like that. I'm thankful.

  57. So very thankful for his blessings.

  58. Malachi chapter 4. You find your place

    Malachi 4 chapter mention

  59. if you would stand again on reference to

  60. the reading of God's word. We'll read

  61. verses one down through verse number

  62. three again this evening. Amen. Are you

  63. glad you're saved tonight?

  64. >> Amen. Are you glad you're on your way to

  65. heaven?

  66. >> Amen.

  67. >> Amen. Are you happy?

  68. >> Amen.

  69. >> Amen. I tell you this, happiness will

  70. come and go, but joy don't ever have to

  71. leave. Amen. And I'm thankful for the

  72. happy times, but I'm thankful that joy

  73. never has to leave. And nobody can take

  74. that from you. Amen. If only if you

  75. allow them to. And we ought to be joyful

  76. tonight. Let's look in the text Malachi

  77. 4 and verse number one. The Bible says,

  78. "For behold, the day cometh that shall

  79. burn as an oven, and all the proud,

  80. yeah, all and all that do wickedly shall

  81. be stubble, and the day that cometh

  82. shall burn them up, sayeth the Lord of

  83. hosts, that it shall leave them neither

  84. root nor branch. But unto you, aren't

  85. you thankful for that? But unto you that

  86. fear my name, shall the son of

  87. righteousness arise with healing in his

  88. wings. Ye shall go forth and grow up as

  89. calves of the stall, and ye shall tread

  90. down the wicked, for they shall be ashes

  91. under the souls of your feet in the day

  92. that I shall do this, saith the Lord of

  93. hosts. Father, I ask humbly again

  94. tonight that you would help us, Lord. I

  95. thank you for the service thus far. And

  96. God, I pray that you would speak to us

  97. and through us, Lord, know our minds in

  98. a million different places. But God, I

  99. ask you, Lord, that you would draw us

  100. into the text tonight. And I pray, God,

  101. that you would help us to uh open our

  102. eyes. We might behold wondrous things in

  103. thy law. God, I ask you, Lord, tonight,

  104. Father, that we would be able to lift up

  105. our hands in the sanctuary and bless the

  106. Lord. God, I pray that uh Lord, you

  107. allow us just to worship you and and

  108. Lord, if it be your will to shout a

  109. while, Lord, this text has encouraged me

  110. in my study. And Lord, I pray that it'll

  111. encourage others tonight. Uh Lord, to

  112. know the privilege, Lord, the freedom

  113. that we have in you tonight. God, I ask

  114. humbly you would help us again save the

  115. sinner nearest hell, reclaim the

  116. backsliden, and Lord, for the child of

  117. God, I pray that they'll rejoice and be

  118. strengthened tonight, be encouraged by

  119. the word of God. And Lord, I pray more

  120. than anything that you would get glory

  121. out of this service, out of this sermon

  122. tonight. We'll thank you and praise you

  123. for what you do because we ask it in

  124. Jesus name. God's children said,

  125. >> "Amen." You can be seated. Thank you for

  126. standing. And tonight we will title the

  127. message just the same way that we did

  128. this morning there in verse number one.

  129. The Bible says, "Behold, the day

  130. cometh." And uh I we look this morning

  131. at the negative side of this text. And

  132. I'm so thankful that God in his dealings

  133. with man, he is perfectly just and

  134. perfectly righteous. And he deals in

  135. judgment to those who receive and have

  136. rejected his mercy. They've rejected his

  137. grace. And he deals in judgment with

  138. them that are to receive condemnation.

  139. But aren't you thankful that out of that

  140. very same hand proceeds that precedes

  141. judgment, that same hand proceeds

  142. blessing to the child of God. And

  143. tonight we notice in the text verse

  144. number two that shift in the text verse

  145. number two he says but unto you that

  146. fear my name shall the son of

  147. righteousness arise with healing in his

  148. wings and ye shall go forth and grow up

  149. as caves of the stall. And so I want to

  150. talk to to you tonight about that

  151. thought. Part number two, behold the day

  152. cometh. And now you SAY, "PREACHER, WHAT

  153. IS THIS day that you're talking about?"

  154. Well, I was going to elaborate on it

  155. this morning, and so we'll do it

  156. tonight. Notice what chapter number

  157. three says, verse number one in the

  158. text. The Bible says in verse number

  159. one, "Behold, I will send my messenger,

  160. and he shall prepare the way before me,

  161. and the Lord whom you seek shall

  162. suddenly come to his temple, even the

  163. messenger of the covenant whom you

  164. delight in. Behold, he shall come, saith

  165. the Lord of hosts." Notice verse two.

  166. "But who may abide the day of his

  167. coming? And who shall stand when he

  168. appearth? For he is like a refiner's

  169. fire and like fooler soap. And so this

  170. is the coming day of the Lord. And I

  171. want you to notice three things by way

  172. of introduction tonight here in chapter

  173. number three about the day of the Lord.

  174. And it's found all over scripture. But

  175. I'll say this number one tonight. When

  176. the day of the Lord comes, it will be

  177. sudden. You say, "What do you mean?"

  178. Well, notice it again in verse number

  179. one. He said there, he said that he

  180. shall send his messenger to prepare the

  181. way before me. And the Lord whom you

  182. seek, notice this, shall suddenly come

  183. to his temple. And so the day of the

  184. Lord that is to come is going to be a

  185. day that is sudden. And you say, "What

  186. is that?" Well, this is making reference

  187. to the second advent of our Lord and

  188. Savior Jesus Christ when he will descend

  189. upon the Mount of Olives, and it will be

  190. a sudden thing. Amen. He's going to

  191. descend on there. And not only do you

  192. see it's a sudden coming in the text,

  193. but I'll say this, when he comes, he's

  194. going to see it. Notice that in verse

  195. number three. And he shall sit as

  196. refiner and purifier of silver. And he

  197. shall purify the sons of Levi and purge

  198. them as gold and silver that they may

  199. offer unto the Lord an offering in

  200. righteousness. And so God is going to

  201. establish Christ on this earth as king.

  202. And finally, one more time, the

  203. Israelites will offer a satis a

  204. satisfactory sacrifice unto the Lord.

  205. You see, all this time since Jesus came,

  206. there's never been a sacrifice that's

  207. pleased the Lord. But one of these days,

  208. Jesus is going to come and sit on the

  209. throne of his father David. Amen. And

  210. they will once again make a sacrifice.

  211. Boy, I feel good in my soul. Amen. They

  212. will once again make a sacrifice before

  213. him. And you say, "Preacher, I thought

  214. he was the ultimate sacrifice." You see,

  215. their sacrifice is not for sin. Their

  216. sacrifice is for the savior. Amen. And

  217. you say, "What is that?" Well, it's in

  218. commemoration of what Jesus had done for

  219. them. Amen. And that is what we're

  220. called to do tonight. That's what the

  221. book of Hebrews says. By him, therefore,

  222. let us offer the sacrifice of praise

  223. continually. That is the fruit of our

  224. lips, giving thanks unto his name. And I

  225. want to say this, when he sits, thank

  226. God. We'll stand up with him. Amen.

  227. Behind him and for him. Amen. We will be

  228. there with him in the text. And so when

  229. he comes, it'll be sudden. When he

  230. comes, he will be sitting. But you

  231. notice in this text also verse number

  232. four. Then shall the offering of Judah

  233. and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord

  234. as in the days of old and as in former

  235. years. Notice verse five. And I will

  236. come near to you in judgment. Notice

  237. this next phrase. And I will be a swift

  238. witness against the sorcerers and

  239. against the adulterers and against false

  240. swears and against those that oppress

  241. the hireling in in his wages, the widow

  242. and the fatherless and that turn aside

  243. the stranger from his wrath. and fear

  244. not me, saith the Lord of hosts. And so

  245. when he comes, it's going to be sudden.

  246. When he comes, he's going to sit. But

  247. let me say this. When he comes tonight,

  248. he's going to bring swift judgment.

  249. Amen. And I'm thankful there's coming a

  250. day when every wrinkle is going to get

  251. ironed out. Amen. Every criminal, Amen.

  252. And every convict, everybody that stood

  253. against Jesus and stood against his

  254. people, amen, is going to be judged

  255. before him. Amen. He's going to deal

  256. with old slooh foot. SOMEBODY SAY

  257. HALLELUJAH TONIGHT. HE'S GOING TO DEAL

  258. WITH THE old serpent, Satan himself, and

  259. put HIM AWAY FOREVER. AMEN. I'M SAYING,

  260. FRIEND, THERE'S coming a day that when

  261. he sits down, I'M SAYING JUDGMENT IS AND

  262. WILL BE SWIFT. AMEN.

  263. >> OH, FRIEND, aren't you thankful tonight

  264. that when he judges, he judges, right?

  265. Oh, but he ain't like our court system.

  266. It don't take him years, amen, to get a

  267. verdict done. I'm saying, friend, in

  268. just a few moments, God will take care

  269. of all the evil and all the wicked in

  270. this world, and he's going to make

  271. everything right. Aren't you looking

  272. forward to that day when he comes? AMEN.

  273. BUT I realize in this text tonight, the

  274. fact that he's coming, you see, there's

  275. something that's left for you and I. And

  276. Malachi ends the text here in chapter

  277. number four, this last prophecy given to

  278. the Old Testament saints here. He is

  279. speaking to them and he is warning them

  280. of the coming of the Lord. And I want to

  281. say this tonight, if I could say

  282. anything to you, child of God, it is

  283. that Jesus is coming back and that he is

  284. coming back very soon. Amen. I want to

  285. say tonight, we know he's going to come

  286. in the rapture first, but just as soon

  287. as the rapture takes place, we believe

  288. that no longer than seven years later,

  289. Jesus is going to come back, not in the

  290. clouds, but he's going to come back to

  291. the earth. And he's going to land in

  292. Jerusalem. And he is going to establish

  293. his millennial kingdom there in

  294. Jerusalem. And that could be just seven

  295. years away. Amen. We don't know how long

  296. it's going to be before the Lord comes.

  297. But I'll say this, FRIEND, WHEN HE

  298. COMES, IT WILL BE SUDDEN. AMEN. and he

  299. will see it. Hallelujah. HE'S GOING TO

  300. ERASE THE ENEMIES THAT will stand

  301. against him in swift judgment. But I

  302. notice in this, he is mentioned there in

  303. chapter number four and verse number

  304. one, we talked about the judgment OF

  305. GOD. BUT WE NOTICE IN THAT SAME

  306. JUDGMENT, GOD IS GOING TO GIVE MERCY AND

  307. GOD IS GOING TO GIVE GRACE UNTO THE

  308. ISRAEL of God and those that are saved

  309. by the grace of God during the

  310. tribulation period. And I want you to

  311. notice four things tonight in this

  312. thought of the day cometh here. Behold,

  313. the day cometh. Number one, I want you

  314. to notice tonight that in that day there

  315. will be a remembrance of the reverence

  316. for the sovereign. Say, what do you

  317. mean? Well, notice verse two. But unto

  318. you that fear my name. And I like that

  319. the Bible in the Old Testament always

  320. talks about the fear of God. Now, we all

  321. we often think in our carnal mind and

  322. new age English that fear is something

  323. that means we are afraid. BUT THAT'S NOT

  324. REALLY THE Bible word. When we think of

  325. the Bible word of fear, it doesn't

  326. really mean TO BE AFRAID, BUT IT MEANS

  327. to have a reverential awe. It means TO

  328. BE AFFECTED BY SOMETHING AND SO MUCH

  329. BACK THAT WE ARE TAKEN BACK. AMEN. In

  330. his beauty and his glory and we

  331. reverence him. Amen. We respect him. And

  332. I NOTICE WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT this in

  333. chapter number three. Look what the

  334. BIBLE SAYS. HE DEALT with these

  335. Pharisees. They had forgotten the

  336. ordinances of God in verse number seven.

  337. I ain't got time to preach all this.

  338. THEY HAD FORGOTTEN THE ORDINANCES IN

  339. verse 7 of chapter 3. They had forsaken

  340. the offerings of the temple in verses 8

  341. and n of chapter number three. They have

  342. falsified their opportunity to be right

  343. with God. In verse number 14 of chapter

  344. 3, notice what they say. Ye have said,

  345. it is VAIN TO SERVE GOD. AND WHAT PROFIT

  346. IS it that we have kept his ordinance

  347. and that we have walked mournfully

  348. before the Lord of hosts? And I want TO

  349. SAY THIS TONIGHT. IT'S NO SECRET THAT

  350. THERE'S MUCH OF THE MODERN church world

  351. that feels that way. It's vain to have

  352. these standards. IT'S VAIN TO MAKE THESE

  353. SACRIFICES. Why are we really serving

  354. the Lord? Does he even notice what we're

  355. doing? Serving the Lord's never gotten

  356. me anything. Oh, friend, you better

  357. realize and you better back up a LITTLE

  358. BIT AND UNDERSTAND THAT YOUR REWARD'S

  359. NOT ON EARTHLY SIDE. YOUR REWARDS on

  360. eternity side. AMEN. AND GOD IS JUDGING

  361. THEM. OH, BUT I'M THANKFUL THAT THAT'S

  362. NOT WHERE THE VERSE ENDS. Verse number

  363. 16, LOOK WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS. THEN

  364. notice that. Then they that what? Feared

  365. the Lord. You say, "What is that?" Well,

  366. I'm talking about the reverence for the

  367. sovereign. You say, "What is the fear of

  368. God?" Well, the fear of God is this. It

  369. is a consideration that is inward. So,

  370. what do you mean? Well, it's a inward

  371. consideration of who and what he is.

  372. >> You say, "What do you mean, preacher?"

  373. Well, I'm saying his perfection. You

  374. ought to consider that. It ought to be

  375. something that we contemplate. There

  376. ought to be musings on who he is. You

  377. know what? We're off time thinking about

  378. what he can do for us.

  379. >> Let me ask you, when's the last time you

  380. just stopped and thought about who he

  381. is?

  382. >> Some of you would have a lot more glory

  383. and have a lot more grace in your life

  384. if you just stopped thinking about what

  385. you want him to do and just start

  386. thinking about who he is.

  387. >> Amen. I'm talking about the perfect,

  388. holy, spotless God of heaven. Amen.

  389. There is no fault in him, around him,

  390. behind him, above him, BELOW HIM.

  391. NOBODY'S EVER FOUND ANY FAULT IN HIM.

  392. And those angels fly around him 24/7.

  393. You say, friend, you say, "Preacher,

  394. there's no time over there." Well,

  395. that's the closest thing we CAN COMPARE

  396. IT TO ON THIS SIDE. Every day of the

  397. year, every year of the every year, the

  398. calendar, amen, the angels have been

  399. flying around him AND THEY CEASE NOT.

  400. The Bible SAID THEY HAVE EYES WITHIN AND

  401. EYES WITHOUT AND THEY BEHOLD THE LORD

  402. front and behind and above and below and

  403. BENEATH AND EVEN FROM WITHIN. AND NEVER

  404. A SINGLE TIME IN HISTORY HAS THAT ANGEL

  405. LOOKED UPON HIM AND SAID, "I'VE FOUND

  406. FOG." NO, THEY CAN ONLY SAY, "HOLY,

  407. HOLY, HOLY." I'M SAYING, FRIEND, WE NEED

  408. TO GET BACK AND GET A REVIVAL OF

  409. REVERENCE FOR THE SOVEREIGN. AMEN. I'M

  410. SAYING, FRIEND, HE'S NOT CEASED TO BE

  411. HOLY. BUT IN SPITE OF THE FACT THAT HE

  412. HAS NOT CEASED TO BE HOLY, THE CHURCH OF

  413. GOD HAS CEASED TO PRAISE HIM.

  414. >> He's not changed.

  415. >> He literally says in chapter three, he

  416. says, "I am the Lord. I change not."

  417. Amen. THEREFORE, YOU SONS OF JACOB ARE

  418. NOT CONSUMED. YOU KNOW WHAT'S CHANGED,

  419. FRIEND? IT'S NOT HIM, IT'S US.

  420. >> HEY, FRIEND, when's the last TIME YOU

  421. SHOUTED? WHEN'S THE LAST TIME YOU

  422. BLESSED THE NAME OF THE LORD? WHEN'S THE

  423. LAST TIME YOU RAISED YOUR UNWORTHY HAND

  424. TO HIM? I'M SAYING NOT JUST BECAUSE OF

  425. WHAT HE'S DONE, BUT JUST BECAUSE WHO HE

  426. IS. WHEN YOU REALIZE THAT YOUR PRAISE

  427. AND YOUR WORSHIP HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH

  428. WHAT HE DOES, THAT HE'S JUST WORTHY OF

  429. IT, WHETHER HE DOES ANYTHING, YOU'LL

  430. REALLY START TO PRAISE HIM. AMEN.

  431. >> OH, FRIEND, I'M TELLING YOU THIS

  432. EVENING, THERE OUGHT TO BE A

  433. CONSIDERATION OF THE REVERENCE. THERE

  434. OUGHT TO BE A CONSIDERATION OF HIS

  435. HOLINESS, OF HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IN OUR

  436. LIFE.

  437. >> It ought to be daily. Proverbs 1 verse

  438. number 7 says the fear of the Lord is

  439. the beginning of knowledge.

  440. >> You see the place where this thing

  441. starts listen to me from the youngest

  442. Christian to the oldest Christian where

  443. it starts every day of our life ought to

  444. be in honor and reverence to him. You

  445. say how is that? Well, you remember how

  446. Jesus told his disciples to pray? They

  447. said our father WHO ART IN HEAVEN,

  448. WHAT'S THAT first phrase? Hallowed.

  449. AMEN. HOLY, REVERENT, RIGHTEOUS,

  450. HALLOWED BE THY NAME. Thy kingdom come,

  451. thy will be done on earth as it is in

  452. heaven. Our first response to the God of

  453. HEAVEN EVERY DAY OF the week. You say,

  454. "What do you mean response?" I'm saying,

  455. friend, he's met you before you ever

  456. awakened. Amen. And you ought to JUST

  457. RESPOND TO HIM EVERY DAY IN REVERENCE.

  458. LORD, I worship you. LORD, YOU ARE HOLY.

  459. LORD, YOU ARE RIGHTEOUS. YOU SAY,

  460. "PREACHER, I RUN OUT OF THINGS TO SAY

  461. PRETTY QUICK." WELL, YOU JUST KEEP

  462. SAYING THEM OVER AND OVER AGAIN. AND

  463. PRETTY QUICK YOU'LL FIND OUT THERE'LL BE

  464. SOME OTHER THINGS TO SAY. AMEN. I'm

  465. saying there OUGHT TO BE A CONSIDERATION

  466. OF HIS HOLINESS. AMEN. And it's inward

  467. this reverence for the sovereign them

  468. they that fear the Lord. But unto you

  469. that fear my name. I see not only in

  470. this reverence for the sovereign there's

  471. a consideration. But I see second of all

  472. in this that there's a conversation. You

  473. see that consideration is inward. But

  474. that conversation is outward. You say,

  475. "Preacher, what does that have to do

  476. with reverence?" Well, notice verse 16

  477. of chapter three. Then they that feared

  478. the Lord did what? Spake often one to

  479. another. You know why the reason we

  480. don't have too many good things to say?

  481. It's because we're not revering him.

  482. >> It's because we're not in awe of him.

  483. The reason why you can't have a

  484. conversation with a brother or sister

  485. about his blessings or even just about

  486. who he is because you've lost the all of

  487. him.

  488. >> You say, "Preacher, I I I reverence him

  489. in my prayer clause." Well, let me ask

  490. you something. How much do you reverence

  491. him in your conversation with others?

  492. >> Amen.

  493. >> Why would your language be different?

  494. Why would you pray the these and the

  495. vows and all that King James language in

  496. your prayer and then go out and talk the

  497. filthy talk of the world?

  498. You see, reverence is not just the

  499. private place,

  500. >> but reverence is the public place

  501. because God's everywhere.

  502. >> Proverbs 15, the eyes of the Lord are in

  503. every place, beholding the evil and the

  504. good. AIN'T THAT WHAT THE BOOK SAYS?

  505. AMEN. I'M SAYING REVERENCE FOR THE

  506. SOVEREIGN HAS TO DO WITH CONSIDERATION

  507. THAT'S INWARD, BUT IT HAS TO DO WITH A

  508. CONVERSATION THAT IS OUTWARD. IT SAYS,

  509. "THEN THEY THAT FEARED THE LORD SPAKE

  510. OFTEN." NOTICE THAT, "OFTEN, one to

  511. another." Let me ask you, how much do

  512. you speak good of him?

  513. You know what our conversations consist

  514. of when they're about the Lord most

  515. time, brother? Why ain't the Lord fix

  516. this yet?

  517. >> Why ain't God help me yet?

  518. >> You see, that's where we're wrong.

  519. >> We spend so much time wanting God to fix

  520. something.

  521. >> Come on.

  522. >> When he's saying, "Look, you want me to

  523. fix it? I'm telling you, I am the fix."

  524. >> That's right. Amen.

  525. >> Amen.

  526. >> You reverence him.

  527. >> In our conversation, listen to this.

  528. You remember I made the statement this

  529. morning talking about the fact that

  530. those children, it shall leave them

  531. neither root nor branch. And I said,

  532. what you are feeding on is inevitably

  533. what your children's going to be feeding

  534. on. Listen to what Deuteronomy 6 says.

  535. This is some of my favorite scripture.

  536. This scripture right here saved my life

  537. as a young man. Say, "What do you mean?"

  538. Well, my daddy took this scripture to

  539. heart and it spared me. Deuteronomy

    Deuteronomy 6 chapter mention

  540. chapter 6, listen to this. Verse number

  541. verse number five. Verse four. Here, O

  542. Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord.

  543. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with

  544. all thine heart, with all thy soul, with

  545. all thy mind. And these words which I

  546. command thee this day shall be in thy

  547. heart. Notice verse seven. And thou

  548. shalt teach them diligently unto thy

  549. children. Notice the next phrase. And

  550. thou shalt talk of them when thou sitest

  551. in thine house, when thou walstest by

  552. the way, and when thou liest down, and

  553. when thou riseest up, and thou shalt

  554. bind them for a sign upon thine front

  555. thine hand, and they shall be as

  556. frontlets between thine eyes, and thou

  557. shalt write them upon the post of thy

  558. house and on thy gates. You know what

  559. that is? That's embracing his holiness.

  560. What did he say? He said, "You talk of

  561. it when you're lying down, when you rise

  562. us up, when you're on your journey, when

  563. you're coming back. Let me ask you how

  564. much your conversation is about him.

  565. >> You see, it's not just that we respect

  566. him. I respect him tonight. But you know

  567. where I fail? My respect to him is not

  568. measured by what I say about him. My

  569. respect is measured by how much I talk

  570. about him.

  571. >> I can tell you how much of the how much

  572. you love the Lord by how much you talk

  573. about him.

  574. >> Notice that again. Verse 16. They that

  575. then they that fear the Lord spake often

  576. one to another. Man, I can't get past

  577. that. Often speak of his wonderful

  578. works, but speak of the wonder of who he

  579. is. Notice this revit for the sovereign.

  580. I know I got to move. There's

  581. consideration that's inward. There's a

  582. conversation that's outward. But I want

  583. to say this. There's a commemoration

  584. that's in heaven. Say, what do you mean?

  585. Well, notice verse 16 again. Then they

  586. that feared the Lord spake often one to

  587. another. Then what's the next phrase?

  588. And the Lord hearkened and heard it and

  589. a book of remembrance was written before

  590. him for them that feared the Lord. And

  591. notice this, and that thought upon his

  592. name. Reverence is consideration that's

  593. inward. Reverence is conversation that

  594. is outward. They spoke often one to

  595. another. But I want to say this,

  596. reverence is commemorated by the Lord.

  597. You say, "How is it commemorated?" He's

  598. got a book

  599. where he writes down when you talk about

  600. him.

  601. >> Do you see that? Notice it again.

  602. Then that they that fear the Lord spake

  603. often one to another. And the Lord

  604. hearkened and heard it and a book of

  605. remembrance was written before him for

  606. them.

  607. He's commemorated not for him. He

  608. remembers it. Hallelujah. He remembers

  609. it. Who did he write the book for?

  610. Amen.

  611. >> Notice it again. For them that feared

  612. the Lord and that thought upon his name.

  613. David said it this way. He said, "Let

  614. the words of my mouth and the meditation

  615. of my heart be acceptable

  616. in my sight, oh Lord, my redeemer." I'm

  617. saying, friend, our thoughts and our

  618. speech, EVERYTHING WE DO OUGHT TO BE

  619. ACCEPTABLE BEFORE HIS EYES. WHY? BECAUSE

  620. GOD HAS GOT A BOOK. OH, HALLELUJAH. HE'S

  621. GOT A BOOK WHERE HE'S WRITING IT ALL

  622. DOWN. HE'S KEEPING IT ALL UP. WHY IS HE

  623. DOING THAT? SO ONE OF THESE DAYS WHEN WE

  624. GET TO HEAVEN, WE CAN LOOK BACK AT ALL

  625. THE DAYS IN OUR LIFE WHEN WE JUST SAT

  626. AROUND AND TALKED ABOUT THE LORD. OH,

  627. FRIEND, HALLELUJAH. I'M ABOUT TO RUN A

  628. LAP IN HERE. AMEN. I'M SAYING, FRIEND,

  629. THERE'S COMING A DAY WHEN WE'LL STAND

  630. BEFORE HIM. AND WHEN WE DO, THE BIBLE

  631. SAYS THAT THE BOOKS WILL BE OPEN. AND

  632. YOU KNOW WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS? PAUL TOLD

  633. THE CORINTHIAN CHURCH, HE SAID, "WE'LL

  634. BE judged by the things that were done

  635. in our body, whether they be good or

  636. bad." That's the church. All right?

  637. That's the That's the beac. And so,

  638. what's going to happen? God's going to

  639. bring up that book of remembrance.

  640. >> Remember that day when your heart was

  641. full, he's talking about you talking to

  642. your wife about the Lord. Man, honey,

  643. God's been so good to us. Amen,

  644. >> man. Honey, God has just blessed us.

  645. >> And you know what the thing is? If he'd

  646. never done a thing for us, he's just

  647. worthy.

  648. >> And God says, "You remember when you

  649. said that?"

  650. >> Y'all get in here with me. It's good on

  651. this side. Amen. I'm saying, friend,

  652. there's a book of remembrance. Oh, I'm

  653. talking about the reverence for the

  654. sovereign. YOU SAY, "WHAT IS THAT?"

  655. WELL, REMEMBER, BEHOLD, THE DAY COMETH.

  656. THIS IS GOING TO COME UP. Notice it

  657. again in the text. Verse two. But unto

  658. you that fear my name, verse 16, that

  659. book of remembrance was written before

  660. him for them that feared the Lord and

  661. that thought upon his name.

  662. It's written for you. Notice this. I got

  663. to move. There's reverence for the

  664. sovereign. This book of remembrance. You

  665. see, our reverence is recognized. God

  666. sees it. Our reverence isn't only

  667. recognized in the moment, but it's

  668. remembered for eternity. He's got it

  669. kept. Oh friend, aren't you thankful for

  670. that,

  671. >> man? Nothing goes by his eyes. Oh,

  672. hallelujah. What you do, Amen. in the

  673. privacy of your life, your private

  674. devotion to him. Hey, friend, nobody

  675. else may ever know. Nobody else may ever

  676. know the price you pay alone in private

  677. WITH GOD. OH, HE KNOWS. AMEN. AND HE

  678. DOESN'T ONLY RECOGNIZE IT, BUT OH, HE

  679. REMEMBERS IT. AMEN.

  680. >> And it will be rewarded. Hallelujah.

  681. Bless his name. Our reverence is

  682. recognized. It is remembered and it will

  683. be rewarded. Notice this. Second of all,

  684. behold the day cometh for this

  685. reverence, the remembrance of the

  686. reverence for the sovereign. Number two,

  687. not only the reverence for the

  688. sovereign, but there will be a

  689. revelation of the son. Verse two, but

  690. unto you that fear my name, notice this,

  691. shall the son of righteousness arise

  692. with healing in his wings. You see,

  693. there's coming a day when he comes back

  694. again. You say, "What do you mean the

  695. revelation?" Well, I don't know about

  696. you, but I ain't never seen it.

  697. >> I'm wanting to.

  698. >> Amen. There's coming a day when I will.

  699. >> Amen. John said it this way in his

  700. epistle. He says, uh, he said, "Beloved,

  701. it does not appear what we shall be, but

  702. we know that when he shall appear."

  703. Amen. He said, "Now are we the sons of

  704. God. It does not appear what we shall

  705. be, but we know that when he shall

  706. appear, we shall be like him, for we

  707. shall see him as he is.

  708. >> And when he appears, notice it in the

  709. text, when the son of righteousness

  710. shall the son of righteousness arise

  711. with healing in his wings. This is

  712. reference, first of all, the revelation

  713. of the son is referenced to our heavenly

  714. lord. Psalm 84 verse number 11. I want

  715. to read this. We get on with the message

  716. tonight. Psalm 84 verse number 11.

  717. Listen to what your Bible says. The

  718. Bible says verse 10 or verse number 11,

  719. for the Lord God is a son and a shield.

  720. The Lord will give grace and glory. No

  721. good thing will he withhold from them

  722. that walk uprightly. Our Lord, our

  723. heavenly Lord, he is the Lord. There

  724. David said, "The Lord said unto my Lord,

  725. sit on my right hand until I make thy

  726. enemies thy foottool." Amen. One of

  727. these days, the Lord himself is going to

  728. reveal himself to you and I, and we will

  729. see him as he is. But I will say this,

  730. in this moment, this is tribulation. And

  731. so there's coming a day when Israel

  732. after all those seven years of

  733. tribulation, Jesus is going to come and

  734. the Bible says they'll look on him whom

  735. they've pierced and they'll see the nail

  736. prints in his hand. The Bible says that

  737. he'll be he'll come back. Amen. We know

  738. in the book of Revelation, he was

  739. clothed in a vesture dipped in blood. I

  740. can't help but believe when he comes

  741. back to this earth, he's still going to

  742. have the blood stains. Oh, hallelujah.

  743. >> He's still going to have the blood

  744. stains. And we'll see him. The Jews will

  745. see him in that moment. Thank God we'll

  746. have seen him for seven years.

  747. Hallelujah for that. Amen. But the Jews,

  748. they'll lay their eyes on him. All of

  749. that reverence, they'll know who it was

  750. really for.

  751. >> All them sacrifices, all that service,

  752. they'll finally realize that the Jesus

  753. that come the first time was THE ACTUAL

  754. JESUS THEY WERE LOOKING FOR. AMEN.

  755. >> The heavenly Lord will be revealed. I'll

  756. say this. Not only our heavenly Lord

  757. will be revealed, but a holy light will

  758. be seen. Notice it again. shall the son

  759. of righteousness. He is the son. What

  760. does the Bible say? Jesus said this.

  761. John chapter 8 verse number 12. He said,

    John 8 chapter mention

  762. "I am the light of the world. He that

  763. followeth me shall never walk in

  764. darkness,

  765. >> but shall have the light of life." You

  766. know what? One day we'll we'll dwell in

  767. his light.

  768. >> Hey friend, we walk in the light of that

  769. word right now. And I'm thankful that

  770. the love of God is shed abroad in our

  771. hearts by the Holy Ghost that's given

  772. unto us. Romans 5 tells us that. But I'm

  773. thankful there's coming a day when it

  774. won't just be on the inside, but it's

  775. going to be on the inside, outside, and

  776. all around. Somebody say, "Amen."

  777. >> We'll be in the light of the lamb. You

  778. see, we have our heavenly Lord. We have

  779. his holy light. And let me just plug

  780. this while we're there. You realize that

  781. God created light long before he ever

  782. made the sun. Amen. That first day, he

  783. made the light. Amen. And when he made

  784. the light, it was a few days later

  785. before he ever created the sun, moon,

  786. and stars. You know who was shining? It

  787. was Jesus.

  788. >> And I like what brother Don said. He

  789. said, "He will sh outshine them all."

  790. Amen.

  791. >> There's a heavenly Lord. There's a holy

  792. light. But I see a healing love in this

  793. verse. But unto you that fear my name

  794. shall the son of righteousness arise

  795. with what? With healing in his wings.

  796. You see, when Jesus comes back this

  797. time, you see he's going to iron out all

  798. the trouble. You say, "What do you

  799. mean?" Well, for the Israel, Israel is

  800. going to be in a place of fear.

  801. Bible says they're going to come out of

  802. those rocks. Amen. Dens of the

  803. mountains, and they'll look up there to

  804. the Mount of Olives, and they'll see

  805. Jesus there, and they'll be bloody and

  806. battered and torn because of the

  807. judgment of God. But you know what? The

  808. Bible says he's coming with healing.

  809. and his wings.

  810. >> You know what Jesus said when he looked

  811. on Jerusalem? He said, "Oh Jerusalem, oh

  812. Jerusalem, how often would I've gathered

  813. thee as a hen gather through chicks, but

  814. you would not." He longed to draw them

  815. under himself. But there's coming a day

  816. when them wings is going to spread out

  817. again.

  818. >> They're going to spread out again. And

  819. that nation that rejected him the first

  820. time, he's going to bring them under

  821. himself.

  822. >> They're going to be reunited.

  823. Hallelujah. There will be a healing

  824. love. You say, "Preacher, what does that

  825. have for me?" I want to say this, you

  826. already know it's healing on this side.

  827. But for many, I know it's a heal, a

  828. spiritual healing, but for many on this

  829. side, we'll never know physical healing.

  830. Many people will leave this world and

  831. their physical ailments will cause them

  832. to leave this world. But aren't you

  833. thankful on the other side that bomb in

  834. Gilead's going to take care of all the

  835. suffering?

  836. >> That's right.

  837. >> Of all the hurts and sorrow and all the

  838. pain. You say, "What is that?" that well

  839. in the book of Revelation chapter 22 the

    Revelation 22 chapter mention

  840. Bible said John said I saw that tree of

  841. life on either side of the river and you

  842. remember what he said he said the leaves

  843. of the tree were for what the healing of

  844. the nations

  845. >> what that is that's eternal life

  846. >> you see that tree of life gave Adam and

  847. Eve eternal life but that one day that

  848. tree of life is going to give you and I

  849. eternal life

  850. >> and we will dwell in the lights of that

  851. city I'm saying his healing love will

  852. wipe away all our tears it's going to do

  853. away with all our struggles Well, is

  854. this helping you tonight? I don't know,

  855. but it's helping me. Amen. I'm saying

  856. the revelation of the sun will be our

  857. heavenly Lord. It will be a holy light.

  858. It is a healing love. YOU SAY,

  859. "PREACHER, WHAT IS THAT GOT TO DO WITH

  860. ME?" WELL, I WANT TO SAY THIS REVELATION

  861. of the sun's personal. Notice verse two

  862. again. What's the first three words? But

  863. unto you,

  864. that ain't just national. Amen. He can't

  865. It can be national, but I'll say it's

  866. personal. Unto you. Amen. Unto you is

  867. born this day in the city of David a

  868. savior. Amen. which is Christ the Lord.

  869. It's personal. It's pure. Shall the son

  870. of righteousness arise. There's no

  871. blemish in him. You know what? You can

  872. be thankful Jesus don't have no ulterior

  873. motive.

  874. >> If that don't help you, I don't know

  875. what will.

  876. >> In the day where everybody has an

  877. ulterior motive,

  878. >> preachers are preaching for money.

  879. >> Come on.

  880. >> Doing all types of things. Amen. Behind

  881. the scenes because all they want is

  882. their pocket filled. You know what?

  883. Jesus ain't never done nothing like

  884. that.

  885. >> Hallelujah. I'm saying it's personal,

  886. but it's pure, but it will be

  887. preservation for us. He said, "The son

  888. of righteousness shall arise with

  889. healing in his wings." There is

  890. reverence for the sovereign. There is

  891. the revelation of the son. You said,

  892. "Preacher, I thought you said in your

  893. prayer you wanted us to shout." Well,

  894. we're getting there. Okay, I about lost

  895. it on that first point, but we really

  896. going to get it now. All right, notice

  897. verse two. But unto you that fear my

  898. name shall the son of righteousness

  899. arise with healing in his wings. Notice

  900. this. And you shall go forth and grow up

  901. as calves of the stall. Now on face

  902. value that last phrase might not mean

  903. much to you. Okay? And uh it means a lot

  904. to me because I know what it says but

  905. also means a lot to me because I know

  906. from my whole life since I was a little

  907. boy we had over 200 herd of 200 head of

  908. cattle. And I remember growing up as a

  909. young man, I used to go and sit for

  910. hours in the middle of that pasture. And

  911. I would watch those little babies, about

  912. 5, 10, 20 of them. They'd get to running

  913. across those fields. Their bellies were

  914. full. All their needs was supplied. Is

  915. anybody in the building?

  916. >> Their bellies were full. All their needs

  917. were supplied. And you know what? In

  918. that pasture, they could go as far as

  919. they wanted to go and run as hard as

  920. they wanted to run. And they will never

  921. get out of reach of mom.

  922. >> Amen.

  923. >> You say, "What does that mean?" Well,

  924. notice it again in the text. Ye shall go

  925. forth and grow up as as calves of the

  926. stall. You see, there's there will be

  927. reverence for the sovereign. There'll be

  928. the revelation of the son, but there

  929. will be thoroughly the rejoicing of the

  930. saints. You say, "How is that?" Well,

  931. first of all, you'll see that there's a

  932. loosing in verse number two. And ye

  933. shall what? Go forth.

  934. You see, what we've been bound to for so

  935. long will no longer limit us.

  936. >> Go forth. There'll be an entrance. But

  937. you know what an entrance implies? It

  938. implies that there's an exit.

  939. You're going to have to leave one place

  940. to get to another. He said you'll go

  941. forth. You know what's going to happen

  942. one of these days? And this ain't

  943. directly in the text, but it's it's it's

  944. as good as there. When we leave this

  945. world, the Bible says in a moment, in

  946. the twinkling of an eye,

  947. >> at the last trump, we shall be changed.

  948. >> Loosed.

  949. >> You say, "What does that represent?"

  950. Well, out of that loosing, there comes

  951. liberty.

  952. >> Look what he says. Ye shall go forth.

  953. You shall go forth. And that word grow

  954. up has that phrase grow up has a dual

  955. meaning. that that grow up. It it can

  956. mean to to jump to spring. I don't know

  957. if you've ever watched a a little calf

  958. or a little lamb or something run across

  959. the field and you know it looks like

  960. they got springs on their feet and are

  961. just bouncing. They're just springing.

  962. They they'll go forth and they'll grow

  963. up. IT JUST IT JUST IDENTIFIES what that

  964. liberty

  965. >> that we'll have when we get over there.

  966. You know what? We won't be hindered by

  967. our emotions over here.

  968. >> We won't be hindered by our feelings. We

  969. won't be hindered by our ideas. You know

  970. what? We'll have perfect theology over

  971. there.

  972. >> Right.

  973. >> I think we miss out a whole lot of times

  974. because of our isms and schisms in our

  975. mind

  976. >> that it's got to be this way. Now, we

  977. know standards are standards, but the

  978. truth is tonight there's a lot of things

  979. that we hold back on just because it

  980. don't suit our fancy.

  981. >> But there won't be none of that over

  982. there.

  983. There's an open pasture

  984. as far as the eye can see. I believe

  985. John said it was a thousand miles wide

  986. and a thousand miles high and a thousand

  987. miles long. The city of God coming down

  988. from heaven as a bride adorned for a

  989. husband. That's the land. That's that

  990. pasture. That heavenly pasture land will

  991. dwell in. There'll be life or there'll

  992. be loose and there'll be liberty and

  993. they'll be live. You shall go forth and

  994. grow up as calves of the stall. Now, I

  995. like in this text that, you know, one

  996. writer said, well, he could have said

  997. butterflies and, you know, it's good to

  998. be free. You know, free as a a bird or

  999. something like that, but you know, a

  1000. calf, they're they're useful, aren't

  1001. they?

1002. >> Something that's productive. When we get

1003. to heaven, we're not just going to go

1004. out to pasture and just be useless. You

1005. know what we'll be doing? We'll be

  1006. forever praising him

1007. >> because you know what? will have life.

1008. We don't really understand what life is.

  1009. You know that

1010. >> we really don't know what real life is.

1011. I I know what life is on the inside. I'm

1012. saved by the grace of God. But I'm

1013. saying when the life that's on the

1014. inside yolks up with the life that's

1015. going to be on the outside over there,

1016. >> you'll find me somewhere shouting across

1017. the hills of glory. Amen. I'm saying we

1018. will have life. You say, "What does that

1019. look like?" That looks like rejoicing

1020. >> is what that looks like. That looks like

  1021. freedom.

1022. I don't know about you. him. I want some

  1023. freedom.

  1024. >> Amen.

1025. >> Free to worship. Free to praise him.

1026. >> The reason some of you ain't run a lap

1027. already is because you so dignified.

  1028. Free from dignity. Amen.

  1029. >> There'll be rejoicing.

1030. >> Not just for a moment, but for eternity.

1031. >> Notice this, and I'm done. You say,

1032. "Preacher, END IT ON A GOOD NOTE." WELL,

  1033. I wish I could.

1034. I tell you, it is a good note for us who

1035. are saved. But notice verse three. And

1036. ye shall tread down the wicked, for they

1037. shall be ashes under the souls of your

1038. feet in the day that I shall do this,

1039. sayeth the Lord of hosts. The imagery

1040. here in this text is this. You see God

1041. when Jesus comes back for behold the day

1042. cometh. Those Jews are going to run for

1043. freedom. You think about that. Well,

1044. picture that in your mind. The beaten

1045. battered scars that they have from

1046. enduring those seven years of

1047. tribulation. And when they see the Lord

1048. Jesus Christ, they're immediately going

1049. to take the running. Why? Because they

  1050. know where he's headed. And they're

1051. going where he is. They're going to that

1052. city, that new Jerusalem there, where

1053. he's going to establish his throne on

1054. this earth. And they're going to run in

1055. there and they're going to rejoice with

1056. him. But you know what they're going to

1057. be stepping on as they get there?

1058. They're going to be stepping all the on

1059. all the enemies that when Jesus

1060. descended and that sword went out of his

1061. mouth, all those enemies that fell. You

1062. know what they're going to be doing?

1063. They're going to be walking on them

1064. as they get to Jesus. You say,

  1065. "Preacher, that's a gruesome image." No,

  1066. it's a scriptural image.

  1067. >> That's right.

1068. >> You see, really, there's one of these

1069. day. It's one of these days. Bible says

1070. that the smoke of the wicked will

1071. descend out of the pit or will ascend

1072. out of the pit and the righteous will

1073. rejoice at the judgment of the wicked.

  1074. >> I can't fathom that. But I will tell you

1075. this, there's coming a day. You say,

1076. "Preacher, you got any scripture for

1077. that?" Turn with me to the book of

1078. Revelation, chapter 3, and I'm done. The

    Revelation 3 chapter mention

  1079. recompense of sinners. Fourthly,

1080. behold, the day cometh for the

  1081. recompense of sinners. There's a

1082. purpose, destruction. Ye shall tread

1083. down the wicked. There is a perpetual

1084. damnation. For they shall be ashes under

1085. the souls of your feet in the day that I

1086. shall do this, sayith the Lord of hosts.

1087. Notice Revelation three, and I'm done

  1088. this evening.

1089. YOU SAY, "PREACHER, HOW COULD I rejoice

1090. trotting on those who are wicked?"

1091. You see, when you love what God loves.

  1092. >> Amen.

1093. >> And when you get to a place when you

  1094. become what God is,

1095. >> I didn't say you become God, but you

  1096. become what he is.

  1097. >> Perfect.

1098. >> Notice Revelation 3 verse number eight.

1099. This is the church of Philadelphia. This

1100. is the church Jesus had no rebuke for.

  1101. Revelation 3:8. I know thy works.

    Revelation 3:8

1102. Behold, I've set before thee an open

1103. door, and no man can shut it. For thou

1104. hast a little strength, and hast kept my

1105. word, and hast not denied my name. Verse

1106. n, behold, I will make them of the

1107. synagogue of Satan, which say they are

1108. Jews, and are not, but do lie. Behold, I

1109. will make them to come and worship

1110. before thy feet, and to know that I have

1111. loved thee. Because thou has kept the

1112. word of my patience, I also will keep

1113. thee from the hour of temptation, which

1114. shall come upon all the world to try

1115. them that dwell upon the earth. You see,

1116. Jesus tells the church of Philadelphia,

1117. he says, "I'm going to make your enemies

  1118. come bow your feet."

1119. You say, "Preacher, I thought it wasn't

1120. for our worship." No, that's not what

  1121. it's for. It's not for our worship. It's

1122. for his glory. And you see, you say,

1123. "Preacher, what does that represent?"

1124. Well, let me let me borrow you mine for

1125. just a minute. All right. You see,

1126. there's coming a day when we come back

1127. with the Lord Jesus on this earth after

1128. that seven years of tribulation. We'll

1129. come back to this earth and we'll come

1130. back with him. Bible said we'll be

1131. riding on white horses and we'll stand

1132. behind him as he as the sword goes forth

1133. out of his mouth smites the antichrist

1134. and the enemies of God and he deals with

1135. them. But do you realize that at the end

1136. of all time, after the thousand years,

1137. the battle of Gog and Magog, Satan is

1138. loose for a little season, God destroys

1139. him, cast him into the pit, and after

1140. that, the great white throne. I've had

1141. people ask me, "Preacher, WHERE WHERE

1142. WILL I be at the great white throne?"

1143. Well, you see, that great white throne

1144. is a symbol of purity. It's great for

1145. its size. It's white for its cleanness,

  1146. for its color.

  1147. He said it's a throne. It's a throne

1148. where God reigns. But you see where

1149. we'll be, we'll be in that throne. Said,

1150. "Preacher, you don't have any scripture

1151. with that." Well, you don't have any

  1152. scripture against it.

1153. We got to be somewhere. And what does

1154. the Bible say? That we are in Christ.

1155. >> And the Bible says that when John looked

1156. on him, he said, "I saw a man." He said,

1157. he said, "I saw him." He said, "Whose fa

1158. from whose face the earth and heaven

1159. fled away? There was found no place for

1160. them." We'll be in Christ at that

1161. judgment. You say, "What does that look

1162. like?" God's going to judge them, and

1163. we're going to sit back and watch.

  1164. >> That's right.

1165. >> You say, "Preacher, how will we not weep

1166. there?" Well, all tears will be wiped

  1167. away for us.

1168. >> You say, "Preacher, will we not cry

1169. tears for those that go away?" Well, you

1170. see, that great white throne of

  1171. judgment. There's a lot lot I could say

1172. about this, but I want you to get this

1173. more than anything. You see, it's the

1174. judgment of the of the wicked that's

1175. going to bring pleasure to the Lord. And

  1176. when I say pleasure, it's righteous

1177. pleasure. And when he sees the judgment

1178. of wicked, the wicked, and is satisfied,

1179. you know what we will be? We will be

1180. satisfied as well. Because you know what

1181. God got? What he what he deserved and

1182. what was rightfully due to him? That

1183. justice was served. And I don't know

1184. about you, but of all of those things

1185. that my reverence will be remembered.

1186. that the revelation of the Savior will

1187. be visible to my eyes, that I will have

1188. an opportunity to rejoice myself before

1189. his presence. But the recompense of

1190. sinners as we walk across them, you see,

  1191. preacher, I can't imagine that. Well,

1192. they're not going to be the focus.

  1193. >> That's right.

1194. >> You ain't going to be thinking about

  1195. them.

  1196. >> No.

1197. >> When them Jews go running, they ain't

1198. going to be looking around,

  1199. >> right,

  1200. >> at what's on the ground.

1201. >> They're not going to be looking around

1202. to see them. They going to be looking at

  1203. the one

  1204. >> that's sitting on the throne.

1205. >> Behold the day cometh. Let me ask you

1206. tonight, every head bowed and every eye

  1207. closed.

1208. Child of God, if I was you tonight, and

1209. what I'm going to do here in just a

1210. minute, I'm going to find me a place and

  1211. say, "Thank you, Lord.

1212. Thank you, Lord." Because this is going

1213. to be reality. And it could be a very

1214. short way away. I want to say this.

1215. You're hearing your loss tonight. You

  1216. say, "Preacher, I can't imagine how a

1217. God that is literally described as a God

1218. of love could allow the wicked to be

  1219. trampled over." Here's here's the thing

1220. about that. Here's what you need to

1221. understand. God didn't allow them to be.

  1222. They chose to be.

1223. Now, let me tell you what God has

1224. allowed. God allowed his son to suffer,

1225. bleed, and die so that you could be

1226. saved. And if you go to hell, it ain't

1227. because he allowed you to. It's because

1228. he chose you. He He It's because you

  1229. chose to.

  1230. >> That's right. That's right.

1231. >> Why would you miss being a part of the

  1232. greatest celebration

1233. that will ever be in history? And when

1234. it comes, it will never end,

1235. perpetual rejoicing, life, liberty being

1236. loosed from the pains of death and the

  1237. flesh.

1238. You see, Israel is going to experience

1239. that in that moment, that day that

1240. Malachi was talking about. But for you

1241. and I, that day is coming much sooner

1242. because we'll see him in the clouds and

1243. he'll say, "Come up hither and we'll

1244. meet our loved ones in the air that's

1245. trusted Christ by faith and we'll be

1246. together forever and never more to

1247. part." The Bible says, "So shall we ever

1248. be with the Lord." I got to ask you

1249. tonight, she's going to play in just a

  1250. second.

1251. Do you know the Lord? Are you saved

  1252. tonight? You say, "Preacher, I don't

1253. know if I died right now that I'd go to

1254. heaven. Would you pray for me? Just slip

1255. your hand up tonight. I'll pray for

1256. you." Preacher, I'm not saved. Would you

  1257. pray for me?

1258. Anybody all over the house? I'm looking

1259. around. Slip your hand up. Raise it

  1260. high. Raise it high.

1261. Let me ask you this, child of God.

1262. When's the last time you had a

1263. conversation with somebody about him

1264. about how good he is?

1265. How much do you reverence him?

1266. Every one of us should a whole lot more

  1267. than we do.

1268. How many of you want to gather on an

1269. altar tonight and just say thank you?

1270. Just say thank you. Thank you, Lord

  1271. Jesus, that I have a future.

  1272. That I have a hope that's beyond this

  1273. life.

1274. Let me say this. He's worthy of your

  1275. thanks.

1276. He is worthy of your praise.

1277. And one of these days, behold, the day

1278. cometh when we will stand before his

1279. throne, and that book of remembrance

1280. will be open, and he'll see it. He'll

  1281. see this moment tonight,

1282. church. He'll see this moment tonight.

1283. It'll be written in that book.

1284. When you came and just thanked him for

1285. who he is. When you came and just

1286. praised him for who he is,

  1287. he'll remember that.

1288. Cuz when you praise him for who he is,

1289. you don't have any ulterior motive in

  1290. mind.

1291. He is worthy of your thanks. Father,

1292. we give you praise tonight.

1293. Lord, you've done so much for us, God.

1294. You've done more for us than we could

1295. ever repay, God. An eternity of

1296. eternities will never repay, God. What

1297. you have done for us tonight as your

  1298. children.

1299. But God, I rejoice in the fact tonight

  1300. that

1301. Lord, I can do my best to say thank you.

1302. Lord, thank you for what you've done,

1303. but Lord, more than anything, thank you

1304. for who you are. God, thank you that you

1305. did not compromise your holiness to come

1306. to us. Because Lord, if you'd done that,

1307. you couldn't have saved us. But God,

1308. thank you that you in your in your love,

1309. your holy love for us. God, you knew you

1310. could not compromise your righteousness.

1311. But Lord, you sent your son to be made

1312. sin for us who knew no sin. Lord, that

1313. we might be made the righteousness of

  1314. God in him.

1315. And Lord, we love you because you first

  1316. loved us

1317. long before we ever knew

  1318. who you were.

1319. Lord, you knew us and who we would be.

1320. And God, I praise you. I exalt you.

1321. You're worthy of all glory and honor.

1322. And I stand in awe of all that you are.

1323. Lord, there's nothing in this life

  1324. that's perfect,

1325. God. At best, every item, every person,

1326. Lord, we all have a blemish,

1327. God, the most perfect individual still,

1328. Lord, in their heart of hearts, God

  1329. would have a blemish.

1330. But Lord, there's never been any fault

  1331. found in you.

1332. And God, we praise you tonight.

  1333. You're worthy.

1334. You're worthy of all praise.

  1335. We exalt you.

1336. And Lord, we say thank you for all that

1337. you've done for us. If you never do

1338. another thing, Lord, we give you praise,

1339. God. If you never touch us again, if you

1340. never bless us again, God, if it's a

1341. long journey from here until you come,

1342. Lord, and we don't see, God, the the

1343. things we desire, Lord, we we know, God,

1344. that your way is best. And we thank you,

1345. God, that you've brought us here to for.

1346. And Lord, we can say as Samuel said when

1347. he gathered is around that either

1348. Ebenezer stone, hitherto hath the Lord

1349. helped us. And God, I thank you tonight

1350. that you've helped us thus far. And

1351. Lord, I know since we've made it safely

1352. thus far, we'll make it safely to

1353. heaven's fair shore. And God, I praise

1354. you tonight. I give you glory. I thank

1355. you for these precious people. Lord, I

1356. pray for that sinner tonight that's here

1357. and lost without God. I pray they

1358. wouldn't leave this place, God, in that

1359. same shape. I pray Lord for those

1360. tonight maybe still not right with you.

  1361. Maybe they're in sin. God, I don't know.

1362. You know, Lord, I pray God tonight you

1363. would deal with their heart and draw

1364. them to a place of repentance. And God,

1365. I pray, Father, you would help us to

1366. live a life of worship and reverence

1367. unto you. Lord, I love you. I thank you

1368. for your blessings. And we ask it all in

1369. Jesus name. For his sake we pray. Amen.

  1370. Amen.
